Gavin Taylor hitting the Gavin Taylor Lariat on an opponent is next, before we see Magical Cosmic Princess YUYO making her entrance. Konrad Raab punching Ace Marshall in a steel cage is shown next, before we see Light in the Darkness hitting Wisteria Waltz against an opponent. Lexy Chapel is then shown showing off Syren. Amy Chastaine posing follows before we see James Evans powerbombing La Pequena Luz off the top rope.

Shots of Deanna Frost, Ryan LeCavalier, Waylon Creek, Xander Valentine, and Syren are shown before the Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.

 

We then cut to a live shot of the inside of the Hyvee Arena in Kansas City, Missouri. The crowd cheers as pyro shoots out from the base of the stage. The display continues for a few moments before spotlights circle the arena and the cameras pan across the crowd for a few moments. We cut to the steel cage hanging over the ring.

 

Sharper: “With the fallout from Rebirth in the air, we also celebrate a night where you, the fans, can determine the fate’s of several members of the roster!”

 

The cameras continue to pan the crowd before we cut to ringside and the announce position where Adam Sharper and Jonathan Knots sit.

 

Sharper: “Welcome to ringside! I’m here with Adam Sharper alongside Jonathan Knots and folks, a lot to talk about. We have the fallout from Rebirth, but not only that, upwards of five matches will be, in some way, determined by you, the fans, including our main event, where the World Tag Team Championship will be one the line when the Light in the Darkness seeks to regain their titles against the Fall of Man! But what will the stipulation be?”

 

Knots: “Fall of Man has it all. World Title. World Tag Team Title. And it’s just getting started!”

 

Sharper: “But we are starting off, here on Breakdown, with the long-anticipated in-ring return…of the Connection!”

 

We see a list of scrambled letters flowing down the screen as we then see the lights stop to highlight “Tommy Valentine” before highlighting “Kandis” and then highlighting “The Connection.” “Trenches” by Pop Evil starts to play as the crowd cheers.

 

Phillips: “The opening contest tonight on Breakdown is scheduled for onefall and has a twenty minute time limit. First, on their way to the ring, from Los Angeles, California, they are the team of Tommy Valentine and Kandis, they are the Connection!”

 

Kandis and Tommy Valentine walk out from the back. The crowd cheers as they look around. Kandis just smirks as Tommy nods, enjoying it. They then turn and talk to one another before starting to head to the ring. The crowd continues to cheer as they make their way down to the ring. Kandis heads over to the steel steps and walks up them, Tommy admiring the view before she steps into the ring. Tommy then runs up and walks along the apron and enters the ring. Kandis and Tommy then both go to opposite corners and look out at the crowd before Tommy hops down, demanding microphones from Jason Phillips. Phillips obliges and he hands Kandis one before grabbing one himself. Tommy Valentine and Kandis walk around the ring, both holding microphone in their hands. The crowd looks on as a “Connection!” chant begins. Tommy smirks as Kandis does too.

 

Tommy: “Well are you ready, Kansas City? Been a long time, huh?”

 

Kandis: “A bit longer for you…”

 

Tommy: “Good things come to those who wait!”

 

Kandis: “But some people are going to wish they’ve waited longer. The European Fiery Nation, Hollywood, or The Product…someone is going to come down here and wish we didn’t return at Retribution.”

 

Tommy: “So, who are the poor bastards that are going to come down that ring…”

 

Kandis: “I already know one team has a hard-on for us!”

 

Kandis tosses the microphone behind her as Tommy Valentine turns and hands off the microphone to Phillips. Tommy then walks around the ring as the crowd buzzes, waiting for the arrival of who won the fan vote. “Duality” blares through the PA system.

"I push my fingers into my eyes..."

The cameras show the crowd who begin booing before zooming in at the entrance way, where Josh Hudson steps out, along with Alex Hudson and Isaac Stone. Tommy Valentine and Kandis look at them and then turn to one another, starting to talk.

 

Phillips: “Their opponents, accompanied by Josh Hudson, from New Orleans, they are the team of Alex Hudson, and Isaac Stone…they are…The Product!”

"It's the only thing that slowly stops the ache
But it's made of all the things I have to take
Jesus, it never ends, it works it's way inside
If the pain goes on...I'm not gonna make it!"

They all wear sleeveless black hoodies as they slowly makes their way down the ramp. They reach the bottom of the ramp, and all look out to the crowd before Hudson begins making his way up the ring steps. Alex runs and slides in from under the bottom rope, as Isaac climbs over the top rope from the ring apron. The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen as we see a shot of the poll showing the vote results:

European Fiery Nation – 20%

 

Sharper: “There you see the results of the fan vote-“

 

Knots: “Guess the fans want to see the future against one of the most decorated teams in SCW history!”

 

Sharper: “You wonder what the EFN are thinking though. Konrad Raab has no love lost towards Tommy and Kandis dating back to the Jackal days!”

"I have screamed until my veins collapsed
I've waited as my time's elapsed
Now, all I do is live with so much hate
I've wished for this, I've bitched at that
I've left behind this little fact
You cannot kill what you did not create
I've gotta say what I've gotta say
And then, I swear, I'll go away

Each member goes to an individual, climbing to the top rope.

Each member is shown staring out at the crowd once again, as they lift both fists into the air, earning more jeers before they climbs down and reconvene near the ropes, waiting for the match to begin. Josh turns to Alex and Isaac and says something before exiting to the floor. Kandis watches him as Tommy does as well.

 

Sharper: “The Product, having teamed with Josh at Rebirth, coming off a six man tag win there. But this will be a bit different.”

 

Knots: “Josh is still there. He can still guide them from the floor.”

 

Sharper: “First true tag match for the Product since debuting in SCW. So there’s no hiding here.”

 

The bell sounds as Alex Hudson looks at Kandis and Tommy and then runs at them, realizing that they’re still focused on Josh. Kandis however turns at the last moment and ducks a clothesline attempt from Alex, which causes him to run right into Tommy who hoists him up and drops him face first into the Connection corner’s top turnbuckle. Kandis then rolls him up.

Alex kicks out. The crowd ohs. Alex Hudson pops up as Josh shows some frustration at his son, before Alex spins around and tags in Isaac Stone. Stone enters the ring as Kandis and Tommy talk before Kandis steps up to him. Isaac steps up.

 

Sharper: “And Alex Hudson quickly found out what going up against a veteran team is like!”

 

Knots: “There was an opening though, right?!”

 

Sharper: “Not anywhere close to big enough! And now here is Isaac Stone and Kandis is walking up to him.”

 

Kandis leans in and looks at Isaac Stone as Stone looks around and Kandis smirks before then stomping him in the boot. Stone winces and Kandis then hits a kick to the ribs before going for the Starmaker. Stone however backs up and to the corner. He looks at Kandis. Kandis smirks before running over and forearming him in the jaw once and then again and again. Isaac Stone shoves her back. She rolls through and Stone runs out with a clothesline. She ducks and both stop only for Kandis to hit a straight kick to the ribs. She then runs into the ropes, but Stone backs up and moves to the corner and tags in Alex Hudson. Josh then reaches up and kneels on the apron, saying something to both before Kandis smirks as she walks around the ring, arms outstretched. Tommy spanks her for good measure as she turns back, laughing. Alex Hudson turns to her.

 

Sharper: “And early on, the Connection look like they’re having a blast!”

 

Knots: “It’s early though, Sharper. Very early!”

 

Alex then tells her to come at him. Kandis smirks and motions for him to come to her. Alex looks around and then the two start to walk toward one another and they lock up in the middle of the ring. Kandis turns into a side headlock. Alex reaches around and pulls Kandis into the ropes and fires her off. She bounces off and Alex goes for a shoulder, but Kandis stops early and hits a single leg trip. She runs into the ropes, bouncing off and Alex rolls towards her. She hops over and bounces off the other side and Alex Hudson kicks her in the ribs and then wrenches the arm and jerks on it. He quickly tags in Isaac. Isaac enters and quickly clubs Kandis in the back. Kandis staggers as the crowd boos. Josh applauds. Isaac then elbows Kandis in the back before then scooping her up and slamming her down. He then jumps up and hits an elbow drop. He goes for the pin.

Kandis kicks out. Both get up and Isaac kicks her in the ribs and drags her over to Alex. He tags Alex in and Alex enters and Isaac holds Kandis up for him and Alex kicks her in the ribs before then then snapmaring her over and running into the ropes. He bounces off and hits a somersault into her. He goes for the pin.

 

Sharper: “And the Product using their speed and keeping it simple! The double-teams and now the cover!”

 

Knots: “Josh giving some great advice! Slow down!”

Kandis kicks out. Alex grabs Kandis by the head and goes to pull her over, but Kandis plants her feet. Alex tries again and goes for a hard right. Kandis blocks it and then nails him with a forearm of her own. He spins around and then kicks her in the ribs. He runs into the ropes, bouncing off and goes for a running spinning heel kick. Kandis moves out of the way. Alex rolls through. He then turns around and Kandis grabs him and drags him over to the Connection corner. She tags in Tommy. The crowd cheers as Tommy enters and then Kandis grabs Alex before Tommy runs into the ropes and they hit a Russian leg sweep/neckbreaker drop combo. Kandis rolls over and Tommy waits for her to leave to the apron. He then kisses her and then jumps to the middle rope and hits a twisting senton onto Alex. He goes for the pin.

 

Sharper: “And Connection calmly back in. A flurry of offense!”

Alex kicks out. Josh shakes his head as Tommy turns and grabs Alex and drags him up and wrenches his arm and whips him into the neutral corner. Tommy runs after him, but Alex gets a boot up. Tommy staggers out and then turns back and Alex hits a drop toe hold, driving him face first into the middle turnbuckle. Tommy winces and shakes his head. He slowly gets up and Alex grabs him and snapmares him over before tagging in Isaac who steps into the ring and then jumps up and hits a jumping senton backsplash. The crowd ohs.

 

Sharper: “Oh! Setting him up and Isaac! Stone! The senton!”

 

Knots: “That may be it!”

 

He goes for the pin.

Tommy gets his shoulder up. He turns, holding his ribs and wincing. Josh gets in his face.

 

Josh: “How’s that feel? Shouldn’t stayed home. The future of the tag division is right here, Tommy!”

 

Tommy grabs at the ropes as Isaac grabs him and pulls him up and then runs him into the neutral corner. He then leans back and shoulder thrusts him as the crowd erupts as we see Konrad Raab storming out from the back, joined by Dakon Theron and Ludvig Eriksson. They head to the ring as Raab continues to storm to the ring.

 

Sharper: “And here comes Raab! And Raab has an issue with people on both sides in that ring!”

 

Knots: “Security! Get security out here for this lunatic!”

 

Sharper: “And the EFN is with him too!”

 

They storm to the ring as Kandis turns and Raab storms up to the ring and quickly runs at her. Kandis jumps down, ready to fight. The crowd roars as Konrad Raab starts to move forward toward her, only for the official in the ring, Steve Hollinsworth, to drop to the floor and stop Konrad. He tells Konrad to leave. Just then, we see Dakon Theron and Ludvig Eriksson storm to the ring and both roll in. Isaac turns and Alex Hudson enters. Theron and Eriksson start to head over to them and Isaac nails him. Theron fires back and Eriksson goes after Alex. The crowd roars as Josh Hudson starts to head around the ring and tells the referee to look into the ring. Raab, however, turns and starts to go after Josh. The crowd roars as Josh starts to back up. Kandis tries to advance, but Hollinsworth focuses on stopping her as we then see Tommy Valentine pulling himself up in the ring. Raab starts to chase after Josh. The crowd roars.

 

Sharper: “EFN in the ring! Fighting with the Product!”

 

Knots: “Josh! Josh was trying to get the officials’ attention. This should be over! This should be a Product win!”

 

Sharper: “And Raab is chasing Hudson! Hudson! Running for his life!”

 

Knots: “He’s trying to get the referee to turn-“

 

Sharper: “Tommy Valentine! Griever’s Bane!”

 

We cut to the ring just as Tommy hits Eriksson with the Griever’s Bane. The crowd erupts in cheers. He then rolls over as we see Isaac knocked down by Theron and turns to Tommy who kicks him in the ribs. He then spins him around as Kandis turns and pushes Hollinsworth out of the way and rolls into the ring. She then gets up as Tommy shoves Theron at Kandis who hits the Starmaker. Josh Hudson runs around the ring, followed by Raab in hot pursuit!

 

Sharper: “And the Starmaker!”

 

Knots: “Hollinsworth! You fool!”

 

Sharper: “Only once Tommy attacked Theron did Kandis turn. Hollinsworth didn’t see them attack the Product!”

 

Knots: “Help Hudson then!”

 

Josh Hudson runs past Hollinsworth as Raab just bowls over Hollinsworth as he runs past. Hollinsworth goes down as Raab then runs after Hudson. The crowd roars as Raab chases after Josh Hudson. Josh disappears to the back as Raab follows. In the ring, Kandis turns as Isaac Stone knocks Tommy down from behind and we then see Alex Hudson running over to Kandis and nailing her with a couple of forearm shots. Isaac then runs over as Kandis starts to fight back. They then fire Kandis into the ropes. She bounces off and Isaac Stone hoists Kandis onto his shoulders as Alex hits the ropes, bounces off and they hit a Samoan drop/neckbreaker combination. Kandis then rolls out of the ring as Hollinsworth tries to get Alex out of the ring. Isaac grabs Tommy and spears him back into the corner. He then steps back and whips her across the ring. Isaac runs after and hits a running splash. Tommy staggers out and Isaac scoops him up and hits a powerslam.

 

Sharper: “The Product taking advantage now. Powerslam onto Valentine!”

 

Knots: “They got the EFN down. Kandis down too.”

 

Sharper: “Cover by Isaac Stone on the Hall of Famer!”

 

Stone goes for the pin.

Tommy kicks out. He rolls over as Isaac Stone then grabs him and drags him up and then runs him over to the Product corner. He throws him in and then tags in Alex Hudson. Stone then pulls him into a side belly to belly suplex before Alex Hudson climbs to the top rope and hits a diving elbow drop. He goes for the pin.

Tommy gets his shoulder up again. Kandis moves back to her corner as a couple of officials work on getting the EFN away from the ringside area. Theron tries to after Kandis. Kandis snaps at them before we see Hudson grab Tommy and pull him up and nails him with a couple of hard rights before going to whip him across the ring. Tommy hits the opposite side and Alex lowers his head just a bit too soon. Tommy stops, drops to his knees and hits an uppercut. Alex spins around, holding his jaw before turning back to Tommy who kicks him in the ribs and hits the Twist of Hate!

 

Sharper: “Twist of Hate and Tommy! Fighting back! Still has that fighting spirit. The man just won’t stay down!”

 

Knots: “Alex Hudson just driven into the mat. Face first. Tough landing for the kid.”

 

Tommy rolls over and slowly starts to get up and turns and looks over to Kandis. Kandis extends her arm as Tommy then looks at her and dives, tagging her in. The crowd erupts. Kandis enters the ring and Alex gets up only for Kandis to hit a clothesline. Isaac Stone enters and Kandis hit a shoot kick to his chest, causing him to lose his footing. She turns and grabs Alex by the head and drives her hip into his face with the Gratuitous.

 

Knots: “Ass to the face!”

 

She turns back to Isaac as he steps up and grabs him and hits a Gratuitous to his face.

 

Knots: “Another ass to face!”

 

She then turns back to Alex Hudson and hits a leg drop. She moves for the pin.

Hudson kicks out. Isaac then gets up and runs over and goes for a clothesline. Kandis stops and then hits a savate kick. Isaac falls back and to the ropes, and Tommy grabs the top rope and Isaac goes up and over. The crowd erupts. Kandis then turns and gets up and tags in Tommy. Tommy enters the ring as Alex starts to get up and Kandis runs in one direction as Tommy runs past Alex. They bounce off the ropes and hit the Twice as Nice on Alex Hudson! Hudson drops. Tommy goes for the pin.

Alex gets his shoulder up. Tommy gets up and Kandis exits to the apron. She then reaches out and Tommy tags her back in. Kandis then runs along the apron and hits a running kick to the head of Isaac, sending him back into the barricade. She enters the ring as Tommy then grabs Alex Hudson. Alex Hudson swings, trying to keep fighting, but Tommy then shoves him into the ropes hard. He bounces off and Tommy hoists Alex up and Kandis jumps up and they hit the Welcome Distraction!

 

Sharper: “Welcome Distraction! The Connection hits the move that’s put away so many!”

 

Knots: “You tried, Alex, you tried!”

 

Kandis turns and as she goes for the pin, we see Josh Hudson running out from the back. The crowd boos as Josh runs down, Raab just behind him. Tommy starts to get up and Kandis covers Alex Hudson, but we see Josh Hudson slide into the ring. Tommy heads over to him and Josh crawls along the mat, right by Alex and Kanids as Raab slides in after. Josh rolls through to the floor as Raab gets up and runs to the ropes. The official tells him to get out of the ring. Isaac Stone then enters the ring and runs over and tackles Kandis in the side. Kandis rolls through, with Alex holding on. Isaac then rolls through and then grabs Tommy as Tommy grabs at him. Isaac tackles him down, using his mass. Raab exits the ring as Josh runs around the ring and over to the rampway. Back in the ring, Alex pulls on the tights of Kandis, getting extra leverage for the pin, now with him on top.

The bell sounds and Kandis kicks out just after the count. Alex lets go and rolls out of the ring. Raab stops and on the floor and turns and looks at Josh as Josh laughs as Raab turns to the ring. Kandis looks up and looks around, clearly annoyed. Josh runs over and pulls Isaac off of Tommy. Tommy turns.

 

Phillips: “Here are your winners, via pinfall, Isaac Stone and Alex Hudson, the Product!”

 

Knots: “Now that’s a welcome distraction!”

 

Sharper: “I don’t believe it. With Josh Hudson coming back at the right time, the Connection caught in the chaos. Isaac Stone taking advantage and Alex Hudson has just pinned the former World Champion!”

 

Knots: “The Product remains undefeated and has beaten the four time World Tag Team Champions!”

 

Kandis gets up and looks around as Tommy turns too. Josh laughs as Alex staggers around, holding his jaw. He holds his arm up as Isaac Stone comes over and grabs him and pulls him back. The crowd boos as the scene cuts away.

 

COMMERCIALS

 

“I am Damnation” by Bleed from Within plays as the Kansas City crowd roars and then boos. A few moments pass before James Evans walks out from the back, hoisting the SCW World Championship over his head. The crowd roars and then boos loudly. He smirks as he looks around as William Heaven walks out with him, pointing to James. Giovanni Aries follows with the stripped down World Tag Team Championship belt, dragging behind him. Waylon Creek holds the other World Tag Team Championship over his shoulder. He walks out last, getting more boos from the crowd.

 

Knots: “The definition of inevitability Sharper!”

 

Sharper: “World Champion. World Tag Team Champions. And Fall of Man have accomplished what they wanted. They wanted those titles. Now, Heaven said we’d see what’s next. So what does that mean?

 

Evans walks down the rampway to the ring. Heaven walks down with him before glancing back and looking at Aries and Creek. Aries eyes Creek occasionally as they reach the ring. Evans walks up the steel steps and then enters the ring. Heaven follows and enters next. Creek rolls into the ring as Aries slides in and then pulls himself up. He then walks around the ring before heading over to Evans’s side of the ring. Creek just remains in the nearby corner as Heaven goes to get a microphone, but James stops him. He then says something to Heaven. Heaven obliges and backs up as Evans asks for the microphone.

 

Sharper: “Looks like we’re going to hear from the World Champion, not Heaven first.”

 

Knots: “Why not? The man has the title!”

 

Evans is handed a microphone before turning back to the middle of the ring. He looks around and smiles.

 

Evans: “I have your number, Xander!”

 

The crowd boos.

 

Evans: “I have your pride, Xander…”

 

Evans smiles.

 

Evans: “And I have the World Championship!”

 

Evans looks around.

 

Evans: “The Fall of Man has done what it has said it would do. It took the World Tag Team Championship. Giovanni and I…and tonight…”

 

Evans looks at Aries and then Creek.

 

Evans: “They better stay with us.”

 

Evans then turns back to the crowd.

 

Evans: “And I said I would do anything to get this title. Xander Valentine left Pittsburgh one-armed and ten pounds lighter as I now am champion yet again. And in the process, I could get some of that pound of flesh I have wanted to take from you for so long!”

 

Evans looks at the crowd.

 

Evans: “This was worth the extra wait.”

 

Evans stops again before turning to William Heaven.

 

Evans: “Now, William, I know you have your own planned remarks, but I hope we can delay them just a bit further because I have something I want to say to someone else and that’s you, Waylon.”

 

Evans turns to Waylon as the crowd roars.

 

Evans: “The last two months have been challenging for you and you claimed you would do things your way. While Aries and I softened Xander up, we wondered if you would still be focused on the bigger cause. William even asked me to mentor you and we’ve had conversations, but I never knew if you’d commit. There’s only room for so many free spirits in competition. But at Rebirth, Waylon…”

 

Evans smiles.

 

Evans: “I’m proud of you.”

 

Evans walks over to Creek and smiles.

 

Evans: “You did not hesitate for a second and while I got part of my pound of flesh, you wanted the whole thing. People can meet adversity by shrinking away or charging forward and we know your choice. And Waylon…WE are proud of you.”

 

Heaven nods too as Aries looks around, less supportive as Evans pats Creek on the back. Evans then turns to Heaven and extends the microphone.

 

Knots: “Creek did the right thing. He could have let his ego get the best of him.”

 

Sharper: “I wonder if he did it for Evans or for himself?”

 

Knots: “What?”

 

Heaven takes the microphone and turns back to the crowd.

 

Heaven: “I said at Rebirth that this inevitability would play out. Xander only bought an extra month and now SCW will find out what is next. What’s next is that we now take what we have been refused for so long.”

 

Heaven looks at Aries and then Evans, before finally looking at Creek.

 

Heaven: “This was a plan begun long ago. James Evans should have been a star, one talked about to the levels of the Syren’s, the Selena’s, the Starr’s, the Kelcey’s, the Xander’s….the CHBK’s…Giovanni Aries had called out this company’s bankruptcy for years. Heaven smiles.

 

Heaven: “Our goal is not just to take-over. CHBK…you just foolish are in the position you are because of the cowardice of others. And we are just going to bleed this industry dry for OUR benefit. WE should have been the multi-millionaires built off the blood, sweat, and tears of a generation of talent…now, we will be listened to. Because if not…physically…psychologically…economically…we will bring people to their knees! The next phase is here SCW. We will enjoy the ride!”

 

Heaven then brings the microphone down to his side as the crowd boos. “I am Damnation” starts to play as Heaven turns. Evans holds the title over his head again as Creek looks around at the other three. Giovanni Aries keeps his eyes on Creek.

 

Sharper: “What does that mean?”

 

Knots: “It means that we’re going to see James Evans and William Heaven take more.”

 

Sharper: “What was that about CHBK? The cowardice of others?”

 

The crowd continues to boo the Fall of Man before we cut backstage.

 

Backstage, Dante Slayton is watching the footage on a monitor backstage. He shakes his head as he then turns off the monitor before turning to Wil Pearce and Alex Belmont.

 

Slayton: “Tragic is what it is. I’m partially to blame for that.”

 

Belmont: “You took the fight to Xander. Not your fault he wasn’t smart enough to tap out.”

 

Slayton shakes his head.

 

Slayton: “Still…that thank you…pissing me off.”

 

Peace then gets up.

 

Peace: “You know what we can do.”

 

Slayton: “No…this isn’t going to be one to go the step up and just throw down way. The Troupe are doing that and look where it’s got them. They hold the top belts. Then they got targets on their back and Shinigami Foundation is going to mark all of them for our goal, one way or another.”

 

Belmont: “The Flame?”

 

Shayton: “That’s one way. And we’ll find the others.”

 

Slayton turns and walks past Belmont as Pearce nods and the scene cuts away.

 

COMMERCIALS

 

Backstage, the scene opens up outside of the Fall of Man locker room. Heaven walks over to the door and opens it before James Evans steps inside. We then see Waylon Creek go to enter, but Aries stops him.

 

Heaven: “Giovanni…”

 

Aries: “I have a question for our resident free spirit…that’s what we’re calling him.”

 

Creek looks at Aries.

 

Aries: “You may have destroyed Xander, but I can smell the pride you’ve doused yourself in for so long. You didn’t do that out for a desire to follow the cause. You did that for yourself.”

 

Creek: “And what of it?”

 

Aries: “I just like to know if the deadly sins will be something I have to worry about. The Lizard Kingdom loves to divide and conquer and if we’re doing that without their claws into you!”

 

Heaven: “Aries!”

 

Creek: “I took out Xander. I helped James. I’m sorry for running you over. But I saw a moment and I took it. I don’t hesitate. I can’t hesitate….”

 

Aries looks at Creek.

 

Heaven: “You two are in that match tonight. You better be on the same page. Those titles are as important-“

 

Creek: “I understand.”

 

Creek goes to enter before we see Simon Lyman knocking on the wall and walking over to them.

 

Aries: “You…”

 

Heaven: “What the hell do you want-“

 

Aries: “He’s clean…”

 

Aries smiles. Lyman smiles.

 

Ryan: “I think you’re mistaking me with someone else. I heard your speech…I could apply some of that to someone I’m regrettably related too.”

 

Heaven: “We aren’t contract killers. If you want, I know a guy-“

 

Ryan: “But you don’t have to be. You can just look at what the fool is claiming. That he’ll try and go for the World Title. And that bleeding heart will try for it…and you don’t think SCW won’t try to milk the happy moment. Look at all they gave to him after Retribution!”

 

Aries looks at Ryan, watching him.

 

Ryan: “I’m just saying. He may be a good target. Someone to send a message. At least then he’d be useful.”

 

Heaven: “And we get rid of him for you.”

 

Ryan: “I’m sure James would love to just kick his self-righteous ass just for a fun Sunday evening. I’m just raising the possibility.”

 

Ryan holds his hands up.

 

Ryan: “I’d owe you one. And I’m far cheaper…”

 

Ryan smiles as he backs up and walks off.

 

Sharper: “That no good son of a bitch.”

 

Heaven motions for Aries and Creek to go inside the locker room. They oblige and we cut to the ring.

 

“The Monster Machine” Enigma in action

 

"Scum Of The Earth" by Rob Zombie plays as the crowd roars. A few moments pass before “The Monster Machine” Enigma walks out from the back. He looks out at the crowd and then the ring. He then starts to make his way to the ring.

 

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a ten minute time limit. First, on his way to the ring, Kharkiv, Ukraine by way of Rock Hill, New York, he is The Monster Machine, Enigma!”

 

Enigma walks down the rampway to the ring and then grabs the ropes and pulls himself onto the apron. He then steps up to his feet. He looks into the ring where the camera turns to a man with long brown hair, strutting in the ring, taking off his sequined robe.

 

Phillips: “His opponent, from St. Louis, Missouri, he is the King of the Arch, Macklin Greene!”

 

Enigma steps forward and looks at Greene, almost unimpressed. He then scans the crowd.

 

Sharper: “The Monster Machine, Enigma, the man is having his second match here in SCW.”

 

Knots: “And he destroyed Chase Upshaw a couple of weeks ago. You think this is Fan’s choice? SCW asked fans when they walked in who they wanted to see?”

 

Sharper: “I don’t quite think so.”

 

The bell sounds. Jennifer Cassidy, the official, backs up and Enigma looks at Greene. Greene looks around and the two lock up in the middle of the ring. Greene moves into a side headlock. He nods and looks around and Enigma then pulls him back into the ropes before then firing him off. Greene bounces off and Enigma drills him with a European uppercut. Greene hits the mat and pops up and staggers around and turns around to Enigma who immediately swarms him, nailing him with a forearm shiver and then another and another before then pulling him out and hitting a vicious sweep kick to the shins of Greene. Greene hits the mat face first. He pops up, holding his mouth.

 

Sharper: “A vicious sweep and Greene just ate the mat.”

 

Knots: “Didn’t just eat it, but got a whole helping!”

 

Greene gets up and Enigma runs into the ropes and runs at him and drills him with a running body block. Greene hits the mat and crawls to the corner. He then starts to get up and Enigma heads over and nails him with a hard right and then a European uppercut before kicking him in the ribs and then hitting a spinning back kick to the jaw. Greene stumbles out and Enigma jumps to the middle rope and hits a springboard knee. The crowd ohs as Greene spins off and down to the mat.

 

Sharper: “This is turning into a damn demonstration!”

 

Knots: “Just Greene has no answer. Enigma isn’t giving him even a moment to think!”

 

Enigma walks over to him and grabs him by the head. He then clubs him in the back once and then again before then spinning him around and pulling him in before hooking him up and hitting a T-bone suplex. Greene rolls over and starts to crawl to the ropes. He reaches out and tries to grab at the nearby camera only for Enigma to walk over to him and grab him by the leg. He drags him back into the ring. Greene rolls to his back and boots Enigma in the face once and then again before getting free. He then gets up and runs into the ropes. He bounces off and nails Enigma with a hard right and then another and another. He then runs into the ropes, bouncing off, only for Enigma to lower his head and lunge, drilling Greene with a spear. The crowd ohs.

 

Knots: “Jesus!”

 

Sharper: “And just cutting him in half with a vicious spear.”

 

Knots: “Thanks for coming out Greene…”

 

Enigma then gets up and looks down at Greene. He grabs him and pulls him up to his feet and then grabs him by the throat in a double choke. He hoists Greene up and then plants him with the Questions & Answers. The crowd ohs. Enigma stays down in the sitout pin.

The bell sounds. Enigma pushes Greene back. He then slowly gets up to his feet.

 

Phillips: “Here is your winner, The Monster Machine, Enigma!”

 

Sharper: “And just domination!”

 

Knots: “He came here just to make that poor bastard’s life hell. Talk about a hell of a rationale for getting up in the morning!”

 

Enigma looks around. The crowd boos him as Enigma scans the crowd. He then turns and walks over to the ropes and steps through them and down to the floor. Enigma, just as focused as he arrived, he leaves, the official checking on his opponent.

 

Backstage, the scene opens up where Jaina Lancaster is standing outside of the trainer’s room.

 

Jaina: “Jaina Lancaster here and folks, I have some update from what was a violent night at Rebirth. One thing to note, and as of right now, Xander Valentine isn’t here, but we can say that his left arm is further injured after Rebirth. SCW doctors being mum on exactly how.”

 

Jaina pauses for a moment.

 

Jaina: “He tried to fight, but as we noticed, James Evans focused on it all match long and it was a notable factor in wearing him down. Meanwhile, we have another arm injury and it seems that the former The Enigma, not Enigma, the Monster-Machine, but the man now going by Veil…his psychological warfare put Deanna Frost on the injured list. Kirsten Scott will be joining her. As a result of those back suplexes, Scott was seen grabbing onto her shoulder. The result is a fractured collarbone. And we saw officials checking on her. It’s believed to have happened on the first back suplex, but then she continued to fight. Showing her toughness, but ultimately, it was too much and one reason Veil was able to keep her down and defeat her.”

 

Jaina pauses for a moment.

 

Jaina: “And as a result, Veil now has a scheduled Adrenaline Championship opportunity against Dexter Grant and –“

 

Grant then comes into view.

 

Grant: “No…end that now. We are not going to hype up a match weeks away. We’re not going to play that game. Veil has earned the match. SCW fans can be happy when it takes place. I assume Taking Hold of the Flame? I assume they would want someone like me to have to fight twice in one night. Well, that’s all they can get. And Veil…”

 

Grant turns to the camera.

 

Grant: “Unlike Scott, I’m not going to even engage. If you try your psychological games, I will simply take the fines of staying at home until we meet. I am not going to give you the thrill of getting another viral clip on social media to get you over. I don’t care about what you claim to be, except that you will be someone when we face that will have to prove themselves in the ring, one on one. Like Kemal did, and like Glory was supposed to do. Simple as that.”

 

Grant then motions to Wendell who is off screen and the two head off as the scene cuts to commercial.

 

COMMERCIALS

 

Breakdown returns and the crowd roars as we see an SUV pulling up to the building.

 

Sharper: “Someone arriving late. I have an idea.”

 

Knots: “Don’t park there. You see what Colleen MacDonald and Kimberly Williams did to that Sedan…”

 

Sharper: “Stop it…”

 

The SUV parks and then turns off before then door opens and we see Xander Valentine climb out of the driver’s seat. He reaches in and grabs a bag before turning and walking around. Noticeably, his left arm is in a sling. The crowd roars seeing him.

 

Sharper: “The former World Champion is here!”

 

Knots: “Oh boy. Fall of Man better be ready!”

 

Xander walks into the building.

 

The opening riff to “Song for the Dead” by Queens of the Stone Age kicks in. The crowd roars. At the 37 second mark, the name "Asher Hayes" blares through the PA system, and Asher appears on the stage, wearing a new Asher Hayes T-Shirt and now more kempt that we at Rebirth. The SCW interim US Championship is also over his shoulder. He bows down for a few moments before standing up straight, throwing both fists in the air, before making his way towards the ring.

 

Sharper: “Asher Hayes finally appearing after over a month being away. Jordan Majors returning at Retribution with his title. But after Rebirth, Jordan tried to get away. She did, but left the title behind.”

 

Knots: “I don’t get this. Jordan Majors was a great champion. You can’t just take the title and be champion-“

 

Sharper: “That’s exactly what Jordan did!”

 

Knots: “That you think. You don’t know if Majors pinned him in a tournament in Rio de Janeiro or something. Asher probably doesn’t remember. He’s always been like that!”

He makes his way down the ramp as the reaction of the crowd rains down upon him. He walks up the ring steps and climbs to the top turnbuckle, lifting both fists into the air, simply looking at the crowd before dropping down and running to the opposite side.

If you're hanging around
I'm holding the noose"
 
He stands, once again, on the top rope. He drops down and looks around as he goes over to the corner. He grabs a microphone waiting for him and turns back to the middle of the ring. He looks around as an “Asher Hayes” chant begins to echo. Asher looks around the arena.

 

Hayes: “I don’t even know how to begin…I guess, hi?”

 

Hayes looks around.

 

Hayes: “I come back…I win the US Championship. I focus on trying to just come out here and give all of you your money’s worth by trying to compete to the highest level and even demanding and forcing my opponents to match that effort…and then Jordan Majors pulls up in a car, out of nowhere. My Chicago sister from another mister…Someone we’ve had a lot of fun with. And I decide, what’s the harm? Catching up with an old friend.”

 

Hayes pauses, looking down.

 

Hayes: “And after that night, I wake up, now I know somewhere in Mexico, with no wallet, no cell phone, no US Championship.”

 

Knots: “See! There was a tournament somewhere else!”

 

Hayes stops.

 

Hayes: “I thought I was catching up with a friend. And after trying to find a way to get some money to try and reach out to my family….my family that found out that I had somehow crossed the border with a hot blonde according to the report I got….”

 

Hayes pauses again.

 

Hayes: “I have way more questions than answers. I’m still trying to piece this all together. From what actually happened to why Jordan Majors would do it. But I get I should start with the obvious….”

 

Hayes scoffs.

 

Hayes: “Jordan Majors has been parading around here as the SCW United States Champion. She has a problem with the fact I refuse to call myself the interim champion. Given that Deanna, should she return, will have to go through me…I feel like the defending champion. My point stands. But yours…possession is nine-tenths of the law. Well, then Jordan, you lost the title and if you want it, you’ll need to come to this ring and try and take it from me the RIGHT way.”

 

Hayes looks around.

 

Hayes: “She’s no longer the Star of Tomorrow. The Star of Today. Well the Star of Today had to steal the US Championship just to give herself the pat on the back she wanted. And the sad part is I get it…I get the idea of being in the shadow of others. Of not getting that accolade you wanted. But I didn’t give up. Just like I got myself clean…and I tried to repair my family life…and you put all of that at risk.”

 

Hayes stops again.

 

Hayes: “I had been rebuilding my reputation. Ever since Holly and Cid entrapped me with that dank kush, this company has looked down on me. I had started to rebuild that and YOU tried to take it away from me. Jordan…”

 

Hayes shakes her head.

 

Hayes: “I will get that respect back. And I hope at some point you stop running. CHBK says he wants things settled in the ring. Well, this will be my ring and you are welcome in it to face me any time. If you want this title, you can try and take it the way we are supposed to do it!”

 

Majors: “Asher!”

 

The crowd boos as Hayes looks around.

 

Sharper: “That’s Jordan’s voice…so she is Kansas?”

 

Majors: “Asher! Up here!”

 

The cameras pan across the upper decks before then stopping as we see Jordan Majors waving. Asher Hayes turns to her.

 

Majors: “Sorry for not joining you down there in…your…ring. But you do have MY title.”

 

Hayes: “Do even start this-“

 

Majors: “Start what? You don’t like that I just put you through something like you used to do back in the day, Asher? You don’t like the fact that you’re probably thinking deep down that I’m a crafty bitch for pulling this over you. Asher…you just got some of that karma you’ve been needing to face for far too long. And me…I was just going to have some fun at your expense. And trust me, I was just getting started.”

 

Hayes: “And that’s why you ran at Rebirth-“

 

Majors: “Yeah, jump me when I was in the middle of a hard fought match. Congratulations Luz by the way. But that just earns you a rematch for the title at a later date. I handed you that one…”

 

Hayes shakes his head.

 

Majors: “But Hayes, I’m not done with that title. Not by a long shot. I’m coming for it and I’ll do it MY terms because Asher, I’m sick of playing by everyone else’s. I said I’m the Star of Today. And damn it, I’ll prove it every damn time I can.”

 

Hayes: “Then walk down here and prove it now. Prove here in Kansas City. Right now, I’m not even in my gear and-“

 

Majors: “Not my terms, Asher. Then again, you should be used to me telling you off. I’ve only spent years doing it…keep trying to put the pieces together Asher. I’m just getting started!”

 

Hayes: “Well Jordan…I’m not going to forgive-“

 

Majors: “You will…how much humiliation can you take, Asher…”

 

Majors laughs as she backs up and then turns and heads through the breezeway. Hayes watches her leave before stopping and tossing the microphone to the side. He then looks down, almost trying to remember what he went through, before leaning on the top rope. His music then starts to play and Asher Hayes shakes his head, dropping down to the floor.

 

Sharper: “Well some answers…Majors had this all planned.”

 

Knots: “And looks like Asher just got a taste of what he deserved!”

 

Sharper: “To be trapped in Mexico, with no ID? No way to contact home? Majors tried to ruin his live! And for the US Title? Or…”

 

Knots: “It’s Asher. Probably hundreds of reasons. He’s an asshole!”

 

Sharper: “Stop it! He was trying to turn his life around!”

 

Hayes then starts to walk around the ring as the Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.

 

Sharper: “Well folks, next, we’ll see the SCW Television Championship on the line. You, the fans, could determine who would challenge Lawler?”

 

Knots: “Adam Brock, Ryan LeCavalier or Clyde Sutter?”

 

Sharper: “And here are the results for that vote:”

 

We see a shot of the poll showing the vote results:

 

Ryan LeCavalier – 30.77%

Clyde Sutter – 46.15%

Adam Brock – 23.08%

 

The crowd roars seeing the results.

 

Knots: “Oh hell yeah!”

 

Sharper: “Looks like the fans want a rematch from last Breakdown. Sutter and Lawler had a war, and they’re going to war again tonight for the TV Championship!”

 

Knots: “Fate is on Sutter’s side!”

 
The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.

Backstage, we see Xander Valentine walking through the backstage area. Destiny Page tries to run up to him.

 

Page: “Xander! Can I get a word? Can I-“

 

Xander just ignores her, walking past her and over to one locker room. He opens the door and steps in, slamming the door behind him. Page stops and sighs as the scene cuts away.

 

Clyde Sutter vs. Chris Lawler

SCW Television Championship

 

The lights in the arena go out as the opening chords of “Unforgiven” by Metallica begins to play. As the song picks up its pace a spotlight shines at the top of the ramp and we see “The Assassin” Clyde Sutter standing there with a sinister grin on his face. He is joined by the beautiful Melinda Braddock. After a few moments of soaking in the crowd reaction, which he seems to enjoy despite their booing, Sutter and Melinda begin to make their slow walk down the ramp. The spotlight follows the sinister sociopath as he approaches the ring. They reach the ring area and Melinda kisses him on his cheek. Sutter then foregoes the steel steps as he leaps up from the floor to the ring apron. With the spotlight remaining only on Sutter as one of the few lights in the arena at the moment, Sutter enters the ring and then stand in the center. The sound of Metallica dies down and the lights come back on.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the SCW Television Championship! Introducing first, the challenger…currently residing in Charlotte, North Carolina, he is the Assassin…Clyde! Sutter!”

The dimmed lights cast an atmosphere of anticipation as the arena falls into darkness, the only illumination coming from the pulsating strobe lights. The crowd's murmurs fade into a hush as the opening chords of "Warrior" by Imagine Dragons reverberate through the speakers, electrifying the air with anticipation. From the depths of the darkness, a figure emerges, his silhouette outlined against the backdrop of flashing lights. With each step, the floor trembles beneath his feet, echoing the determination that propels him forward. It's Chris Lawler, a titan among men, his presence commanding attention as he strides purposefully down the entrance ramp, with the SCW Television Champion draped over his right shoulder.

His eyes, a piercing shade of blue, remain fixed on the ring ahead, unwavering in their focus as if they could pierce through the very fabric of reality. Ignoring the cacophony of cheers and jeers that surround him, Lawler remains resolute in his mission, his gaze locked on the squared circle where his destiny awaits. As Lawler reaches the foot of the ring, the strobe lights reach a crescendo, bathing him in a pulsating glow of light and shadow. With a subtle nod to the crowd, Lawler ascends the steel steps, each footfall a testament to his unwavering determination.

Phillips: “And his opponent, he is the reigning SCW Television Champion, from Nashville, Tennessee…he is…Chris! Lawler!”

Finally, he steps between the ropes, his presence filling the ring with an aura of intensity and purpose. Standing tall in the center of the ring, Lawler raises his gaze to the heavens, a silent vow etched upon his features. He lifts the title high above his head as the crowd cheers loudly. He then hands the title to the ref who raises it up for the crowd to see, before he passes it along to the timekeeper. Lawler and Sutter are shown glaring at one another.

Sharper: “We’re getting a rematch thanks to the fans’ choice. Lawler beat Sutter for the TV Championship. Sutter wants it back.”

Knots: “These two will get violent to grab that win.”

The ref calls for the bell and Lawler charges over, and begins hammering away at Sutter, backing him into the corner. Lawler lands with haymakers, before leveling Sutter with a right cross, dropping him to the mat.

Sharper: “The Champion coming in hot.”

Knots: “Sutter has some size and strength over Lawler. Getting him down early is a good idea.”

Sharper: “Sutter can be an animal. He’s the Assassin for a reason. It’ll be keeping him down that’ll be key.”

Lawler reaches down and pulls Sutter up, and delivers a European uppercut. Sutter staggers back only for Lawler to grab him and take him down a belly to belly suplex. Lawler goes for a quick cover.

Sutter kicks out.

Sharper: “Lawler getting a two count off the belly to belly.”

Lawler lifts Sutter from the mat, but Sutter hits an uppercut of his own. He grabs Lawler as he stumbles, and delivers a series of forearms, backing Lawler into the ropes. He goes to whip Lawler, before pulling him back and planting him with a spinebuster.

Lawler grabs at his back as Sutter roars at the booing crowd.

Knots: “Huge move, driving the Champion into the mat!”

Sutter grabs Lawler from the mat and hits a series of punches, before driving his knees into Lawler’s ribs. He then hooks Lawler and sends him back to the mat with a fall away slam. Sutter then goes for a cover.

Sharper: “The Assassin putting his power on full display.”

Lawler kicks out! Sutter checks with the referee who states it was a two count. Sutter grabs Lawler by the hair then delivers a straight right shot, followed by a second, and a third. Sutter then pulls Lawler to his feet and whips him as hard as he can into the corner. Lawler connects and buckles for a moment before staggering out. Sutter grabs him and connects with a choke slam. Sutter makes another cover.

Lawler shoots the shoulder up!

Sharper: “The Champion still in this thing!”

Sutter gets to his feet and goes to grab Lawler, but Lawler manages to kick him the face. Sutter staggers back while Lawler gets to his feet. Lawler charges and takes Sutter down with a clothesline. Sutter hits the mat and bounces back up. Lawler hits a shoulder tackle. Sutter hits the mat once and bounces back up. He swings, only for Lawler to dunk under, hook him, and Lawler takes Sutter down with a belly to back suplex.

Lawler gets to his feet and pulls Sutter up. He whips him into the corner. Lawler follows this up with a big boot in the corner.

Knots: “Lawler connecting with the Blitz Kick.”

Sutter falls to the mat and Lawler goes for the cover.

Sutter kicks out! Lawler looks down at Sutter before getting up and backing into the corner. He hops onto the second rope, then the third, keeping his eyes on Sutter.

Sharper: “What’s Lawler doing? Looking for a little bit of an aerial assault?”

Lawler leaps off the top rope, going for an elbow drop, but Sutter gets his feet up. Lawler hits and bounces back, rolling into the mat. Sutter gets to his feet and begins to stalk Lawler. Lawler gets up and turns around, only for Sutter to charge. Sutter goes for Unforgiven, but Lawler dunks out of the way. Both men scramble to their feet, but Lawler hits a European uppercut before lifting Sutter onto his shoulders. He tries for the Impact Driver, but Sutter shifts his weight and both go up and over the top rope and land hard on the floor. The crowd ohs. (1)

 

Sharper: “And Lawler looked to end it. Sutter shifted his weight. Both landed hard on the floor!”

 

Knots: “Fate had other ideas. Both up and over. And they’re both down!”

Lawler slowly stirs as Sutter does as well. Melinda looks on, trying to will Sutter up. (6)

 

Sharper: “Not just have to get up, but get him in the ring if your Sutter! Champion’s advantage!”

Lawler and Sutter both get up and Lawler instead of going to the ring, runs at Sutter. (9) He goes for a clothesline, but Sutter catches him and tries to get him to the ring. (10!) The bell sounds as Lawler falls over the steel steps and rolls over. Sutter turns and kicks at the steel steps as the bell sounds.

 

Phillips: “Fans, both Clyde Sutter and Chris Lawler have been counted out. This match is a draw! As a result, still your TV Champion, Chris Lawler!”

The crowd roars a bit. Lawler smiles as he turns. “Warrior” plays as Sutter shakes his head and paces a bit at ringside. Melinda heads over to him as Lawler rolls into the ring.

Knots: “Lawler retains!”

Sharper: “Not the fate Sutter wanted. He even tried to force Lawler into the ring. Lawler stopped it and retained. And there’s a smile on his face.”

 

Knots: “He’s still champion. He still gets the champion’s purse!”

 

Backstage, we see La Pequena Luz and Amelia Nevado talking and Asher Hayes walks over to them.

 

Hayes: “Hey…sorry to interrupt. Luz…Amelia, good luck tonight. But I want to also just thank you.”

 

Nevado: “Just doing what a decent person would do-“

 

Luz: “Should do.”

 

Hayes nods.

 

Hayes: “Well, either way, I understand you have a rematch Luz at some point. Name the place, you more than deserve it for helping-“

 

Luz: “Thanks, Asher. But right now, we need to focus on tonight.”

 

Hayes: “Of course…”

 

Hayes backs up and stops briefly only to turn and head off as Amelia and Luz continue to strategize.

Breakdown returns with Glory Braddock backstage. Jaina Lancaster is with her.

 

Jaina: “Welcome back to Breakdown. I’m here with Glory Braddock and Glory, not the night you hoped for at Rebirth. You had hoped to play to spoiler. To keep Syren from getting a good number. To even make yourself the favourite at Taking Hold of the Flame, but now you’re going to be starting at number one.”

 

Braddock: “A kick in the bollocks, isn’t it? Well, I have called myself the Best in the World. I have prided myself on trying to be the best I can be and it looks like I’m going to have to call on all of that to walk away Taking Hold of the Flame with a World Championship opportunity at Rise to Greatness. And I could sit here and lick my wounds. Another loss to Syren. Another loss to Selena Frost. Or I could get up and respond as I know I can.”

 

Braddock pauses for a moment.

 

Braddock: “See I called my shot three weeks ago. While I had to deal with matters that I still am steamed about, I am still happy with what I set up. I wish the result was different. But I know what I’m doing and that’s right now, planning to shock the world at Taking Hold of the Flame and going the distance. And if anyone doubts me…next week, we’re in my neck of the woods, London, England. And I dare you to come into the ring to knock me off my perch. Because folks, I have been told my someone close to me I need to be more aggressive. Well, be careful what you wish for. SCW will have to deal with it! Sic Semper Tyrannis!”

 

The crowd roars as Braddock turns and goes to walk off. As she does, Clyde Sutter and Melinda Braddock walk over to Glory. Glory locks eyes with them briefly before she walks off. Sutter and Melinda then storm off in the opposite direction as Breakdown cuts to the ring.

 

Ryan LeCavalier vs. Adam Brock

 

Phillips: The following contest is scheduled for one fall.  Introducing first, Wolfsbane ADAM BROCK!

 

The howl of a wolf echoes throughout the arena, sending chills down everyone’s spines. The howl is followed by the sound of a heavy guitar that’s quickly followed by bass and drums, then the vocals kick in.

 

“Born from the dark,

In the black cloak of night.

To envelop its prey below,

Deliver to the light.

To eliminate your enemy,

Hit them in their sleep,

And when all is won and lost,

The spoils of wars are yours to keep”

 

FWOOSH!!! A series of red, gold and silver fireworks go off at the top of the ramp in a shimmering cascade. A roaming spotlight seeks to penetrate the darkness and find something... Or, perhaps, SOMEONE. A momentary silence, then...

 

POW!

 

Four blue fireworks go off and engulf the stage in their light. And as they die away, the darkness falls once more. But it’s not complete... The roaming spotlight catches glimpses of movement, but it’s too indistinct.

 

“Great nations built from the bones of the dead

With mud and straw, blood and sweat,

You know your worth when your enemies

Praise your architecture of aggression”

 

BAM!

 

White-hot green fireworks go off now and this time the spotlight DOES catch someone. Standing there amid the ghastly green glow is the one and only “Wolfsbane” Adam Brock! The fans erupt in a cavalcade of screaming and applause that seems to catch him off guard, but only for a second. He grins wickedly and makes his way down the ramp, slapping hands with the fans and pausing to hug a little boy. The little boy squeals in delight and Adam pauses for a moment at the bottom of the ring steps. Then he grins, backs up a little and does a running baseball slide under the bottom rope. Getting to his feet, he scales each turnbuckle in turn and throws his arms out to his sides, the crowd screaming even more each time he does it. After he hops down from the last turnbuckle, he spins around in a circle before turning to settle his gaze on the person closest to him.

 

Phillips: And his opponent, The Lost Monarch RYAN LECAVALIER!

 

The arena is quiet, with a palpable sense of expectancy in the air as the lights go off. An ethereal blue glow is projected onto the entry ramp by a lone floodlight that breaks through the darkness. The crowd trembles with eagerness as L'Impératrice's "A View to a Kill" pulsates synthesizers burst the stillness.

 

A silhouette appears out of the darkness, clad in a shimmering silver cloak that seems to both reflect and absorb the light. The coat flutters about her as she moves, giving her enticing peeks of the wrestling gear in silver and black underneath. Her face is hidden behind a mask of steely resolve, framed by the hood.

 

The moment Ryan LeCavalier, as "The Lost Monarch," removes her hood and shows off her icy-focused eyes, the audience screams. At the top of the ramp, she stops and looks out over the crowd like a queen assessing her subjects. She steps down into the ring and gracefully makes her way to the turnbuckle, removing her cloak like a snake might remove its skin. With her eyes fixed on her opponent, she slides into her mouthguard, completing her transformation. The arena is bustling with the unsaid promise of a great battle to come, and the air is crackling with suspense.

 

Brock goes for a lariat but Ryan ducks and then lands a side kick to the body followed up by a short arm clothesline.  A double knee drop to Adam’s midsection.  Ryan measures him as he pulls himself up.  Yakuza kick by Lecavalier!  Brock is stunned!  She goes for a superkick but Brock catches the foot, spins her around, and lands an angle slam!  Ryan rolls over to the ropes and uses them to pull herself up.  Brock with a superkick that sends her over the top and to the outside.  Adam Brock plays to the crowd, drawing loud cheers.

 

Sharper: “We’ve seen these two fight before. That was Dogfight in Dusseldorff. Can the result be different for Brock?”

 

Knots: “He’s hoping for that. But Ryan LeCavalier. Very quiet since losing the TV Title!”

 

Brock goes out after her.  He pulls her up but she lands a quick and swift kick to the mid-section.  Ryan with a jumping neck breaker on the outside.  She rolls back into the ring and catches her breath as Brock pulls himself back up.  Lecavalier then takes off…suicide dive over the top wipes out Adam Brock!  She rolls him back into the ring.  He attempts to sit up but Ryan drills him with a sliding knee strike, putting him back down.  She mounts him and rains down elbow strikes.   Finally she stops and goes for a cover…

Sharper: “And LeCavalier only gets two. Clearly something driving her-“

 

Knots: “Yeah. She doesn’t want to lose!”

 

Ryan with a hammerlock legsweep to take him back down.  She floats over into a fujiwara arm bar.  Brock struggles in the hold but refuses to quit.  Eventually he reaches the ropes to force a break.  Ryan gets up and measures him as he pulls himself up.  She goes in for another yakuza kick but Brock evades it this tim.  Brock with a superkick followed by a swinging neck breaker.  Brock whips Ryan into the corner and then connects with a handspring elbow, Silver Bullet!  She staggers out of the corner and Adam hoists her up for Full Moon, the fallaway slam  He rolls over into a cover, hooking a leg…

Adam Brock waits as Ryan pulls herself up.  He locks in a cobra clutch.  Ryan struggles briefly, trying not to be put to sleep.  Out of desperation she counters with a stunner.  Both competitors are now down.

 

Sharper: “And a big stunner. That stops Brock!”

 

Knots: “For now. But the referee, we’ll find out if he can count to ten!”

Ryan is back to her knees.

Brock starts to stir.  Ryan is back to her feet to break the count.  Ryan with a jumping heel kick followed by a sliding knee strike.  She goes outside and then climbs up to the top turnbuckle and stands perched as Adam Brock slowly pulls himself up.  He turns around and Lecavalier connects with a missile dropkick!

 

Sharper: “Big missile dropkick. Brock knocked down.”

 

Knots: “Right into a pin attempt!”

 

Ryan pulls him up and then hooks him for a suplex but Brock blocks it.  Brock with a standing switch and then connects with Silent Screams, the full nelson slam!  Brock falls into the cover…

2…Kickout!

 

Adam Brock measures Ryan for Appetite for Destruction.  He rushes in…but Ryan avoids contact! Ryan kips up and lands a jumping heel kick.  Ryan with a superkick.  Ryan follows these strikes up with her flurry of striking offense called Feel Nothing!  Brock goes down!

 

Sharper: “And a vicious flurry-“

 

Knots: “She setting up and-“

 

Ryan signals for the end.  She takes Brock and hoists him up…CROWNED WITH TEETH! The cover…

Phillips: Here is your winner…Ryan Lecavalier!

 

LeCavalier rolls off of Brock. She then looks at him and mouths “sorry” before getting up. She then pulls herself to her feet. The crowd cheers her on.

 

Sharper: “No hesitation against a veteran like Brock.”

 

Knots:” And there was a period there where he hit high impact after high impact and she fought through it.”

 

Sharper: “She demanded this win of herself. And the question now…what next?”

 

Knots: “Taking Hold of the Flame? What else?”

 

LeCavalier continues to stand in the ring, listening to her music as she scans the crowd. The official checks on Brock as the scene cuts away.

 

COMMERCIALS

 

“Unchained” begins to play as the houselights slowly dim. At the twelve second mark, lights start flickering as the beat and rhythm of the song get louder.

The SCW tron lights up with the chrome ‘S’ emblem and explodes into shots of Meghan Strader fighting Polly Pingotti, before showing shots of Tearra Skye and MacKenzie Strader attacking Syren and Ravyn Taylor. After several moments, her name flashes on the screen, and a small amount of pyro shoots off as Meghan steps out from behind the curtain.

Meghan stops and waves at the crowd as she shifts her hips to the right side. She glances behind her as Cara Strader, MacKenzie Strader and Tearra Skye all walk out and flank her. Meghan then starts to head to the ring .

 

Sharper: “This will be a trend. Another hard fought match at Rebirth. Meghan Strader able to outlast Polly Pingotti-“

 

Knots: “Trust me, Polly is not taking it well.”

 

Sharper: “No doubt there, but Meghan Strader has put so many on notice in SCW in a short time. She’s claimed she’s going to win the World Title this year. We’ll see about that.”

 

Knots: “Oh trust me. That’s a statement that’s going to get you a lot of attention.”

Meghan stops halfway down, looks side to side, raises up her arms and the entire stage explodes in gold and silver pyrotechnics as the family sneer comes across Meghan’s face. Meghan then leads the Cowgirls from Hell into the ring. She climbs up the steel steps and enters the ring. Cara rolls in as Tearra and MacKenzie enter after Meghan. They walk around the ring as Meghan Strader heads across to the corner and asks for a microphone. Ring announcer Jason Phillips hands her one and she takes it and walks around the ring. The music fades out as a mixed reaction comes from the crowd.

 

Meghan: “There’s a commandment many of you need to learn in SCW. You shall not mess with the Cowgirls from Hell!”

 

The crowd roars as Meghan Strader looks around the arena.

 

Meghan: “Polly Pingotti, I want to commend you. You brought a fight. You’ve brought multiple fights and I love to fight. You’ve earned my respect. Too bad that won’t help you. I know, you’re taking it hard. You don’t want me to step past you, but Polly, that time has come. You may get back to me at some point, but I have plans and sadly, Polly, you’re no longer part of them. At some point, someone needs to recognize a need to step back. I understand you took one step last year. Now it’s time for you to take another. But it won’t be with me across from you unless you want to take several more steps back.”

 

Meghan walks around the ring.

 

Meghan: “See, we’ve been making sure people are understanding what the Cowgirls from Hell are about. We are about so much in the world, but in professional wrestling, it’s been a symbol of greatness. And I came into SCW with one clear goal – I’m going to hold the SCW World Championship.”

 

The crowd roars as Meghan pauses.

 

Meghan: “I get that puts a target on my back. That’s why I haven’t come alone, and the Cowgirls here, we have a simple plan of action. We have a goal and we’ll do anything to get there.”

 

Meghan smirks.

 

Meghan: “You may have noticed that we humbled another great around here last Breakdown. That wasn’t looking past you Polly. It was merely laying the foundation. I’m hunting the other predators around here and we’re making sure, one by one, they will fall before me and I will hold that title. Whether we have to do it in the ring, in the streets, or in one’s head, I will not be second to any one!”

 

The crowd roars as we see Lexy Chapel storming the ring with a steel chair. She heads down to the ring and she gets closer and closer as we see Cara Strader and MacKenzie Strader turns to the ropes as Meghan Strader almost laughs. We then see Syren running down from the back and stopping Lexy as Lexy goes to move to the ring, going to swing the chair. Syren stops her, grabbing the chair and Lexy turns to her.

 

Meghan: “Well isn’t that nice…What did you think you were going to do?”

 

Lexy turns to Syren, trying to say something through annoyed grunts as Syren then pulls the chair away. Meghan Strader just shakes her head.

 

Meghan: “Lexy Chapel is it? You’re the so-called manager of champions. If that’s the level of guidance you provide, I don’t know what was going on before!”

 

Chapel turns to the ring, eyes widen. She then lunges for the ring and Syren grabs her and pulls her back. Syren then holds her back as Ravyn Taylor calmly walks out from the back, microphone in her hand.

 

Ravyn: “Meghan…I would instead like to pose a counter-question, if I may?”

 

Ravyn Taylor walks over to Syren and Lexy as Lexy looks at Ravyn and points at her sternly.

 

Ravyn: “Are you sure you wish to declare war in this way against the most decorated female wrestler in SCW history?”

 

Meghan goes to respond, but Ravyn cuts her off.

 

Ravyn: “And are you sure you want to play the war of wits against us?”

 

Meghan: “I will fight any war I need to with the appropriate tactics to get the end goal. And Syren, you are a threat. Ravyn, whether you’re competing or not, you are a threat too.”

 

Ravyn: “It’s good to know you know my name. I wasn’t sure how much you were paying attention or if you relied on your pledges to give you information. I was worried this would be even further embarrassing to you.”

 

Meghan: “The only one being embarrassed in the end will be you, Syren…and Lexy if she keeps doing that. You, Ravyn…I don’t know.”

 

Ravyn: “Just know you go after her, you go after us. We have others who will learn that lesson, but consider this your only warning.”

 

Ravyn then extends the microphone to Syren.

 

Meghan: “Before you say anything Syren, I hope you know…you three are taking on all of the Cowgirls from Hell too. You decide the rules of engagement. We’re ready for a war if need be. We showed that with Polly. We will with you. I know you’re in Taking Hold of the Flame. I am too. And Syren, we can turn around and agree to meet then…or you can make your life that much harder.”

 

Syren looks at the ring. She then turns to Ravyn and Lexy before turning back.

 

Syren: “You’re the one who send your pledges after me. You started this. Meghan, my fate in Taking Hold of the Flame may not be known. I don’t know where I enter, but better hope I don’t enter anywhere around you. I will make it so if even have any chance of becoming World Champion, it’s going to be the hard way. You and I have the same goal…we want to hold that gold again. So we will meet at some point. You can decide where…in the ring one on one, in the streets…in Taking Hold of the Flame…but no matter what…I will vow to make sure you will be oh so totally JEALOUS!”

 

The crowd cheers as “Groupie” plays throughout the arena. Syren smirks as she looks in the ring. Ravyn smirks behind Syren as Lexy Chapel yells at Meghan, continually yelling “yeah!” at them. Meghan just chuckles under her breath.

 

Sharper: “Syren and Meghan Strader both making clear – they may damn sure be on the collision course.”

 

Knots: “I don’t know how smart this is, for either of them!”

 

Syren backs up as Ravyn motions for her to turn around. Lexy keeps yelling at the ring before Ravyn steps over and pulls her away. They walk past the camera where we see Polly Pingotti, in a black hoodie, standing on the floor, watching the scene. Marissa Swanson is with her. We cut back to the ring as Meghan turns and talks to Cara, MacKenzie, and Tearra. The scene cuts away.

European Fiery Nation vs. Hollywood

 

Off To War by Behemoth plays over the sound system with the lights being dark as ever as Ginny walks out in the middle, Ludvig and Kemal on the left and Dakon and Oskar on the right-hand sides, looking at the crowd and got heavy boos. When the lights briefly came back on, you see Dakon, Oskar, Ludvig, Kemal and Ginny waving their Norway, Sweden, Turkey and German flags.

Phillips: Making their way to the ring, accompanied by Ginny Raab, Kemal Yilmaz and Oskar Theron, coming from Norway and Sweden, they are Ludvig Eriksson and Dakon Theron, The European Fiery Nation."

The lights go out as the five walk down to the ring. They reach the ring and we then see Dakon and Ludvig running up the steel steps. They enter into the ring as Ginny, Oskar and Kemal walk around the ring. Dakon and Ludvig wave their flags as the crowd boos them and the music fades out.

 

Sharper: “We’ve already seen what the EFN is on and there’s a reason Konrad Raab isn’t out there. The chaos to start tonight.”

 

Knots: “They already got a Griever’s Bane and a Starmaker for their troubles. Now they have to deal with the headache that’s Hollywood!”

 

A rush of paparazzi rush down either side of the ramp as a red carpet is rolled out. The sounds of Michael Jackson’s “Hollywood Tonight” begins to play as Chris and Ryan Hollywood come out from the back, prompting a shamelessly stolen trope of flashes from the cameras as they stand atop the ramp.

 

Phillips: “Their opponents, from Hollywood, California, they are the team of Chris and Ryan, they are Hollywood!”

 

They respond to pose instructions from the photographers as they move towards the ring. Once in the ring, they pose in the middle of the ring, back to back, as their music fades. They turn and then stop before turning to one another, confused. They then start to talk to one another before Chris heads over to Jason Phillips as he exits the ring. He asks for the microphone. Phillips hands it to him and Chris turns and walks over to Ryan.

 

Chris: “We are seeing what we’re seeing?”

 

Chris holds the microphone to allow Ryan to speak.

 

Ryan: “Either something is wrong or the Connection really let themselves go.”

 

Chris: “I mean…there’s not even an ass there. That’s as flat an ass as I’ve ever seen!”

 

Chris points at Ludvig Eriksson.

 

Ryan: “Gotta get more squats in or something. Also, the lack of a tan…oh, honey, you’re going to need a lot of help. Look, we’ll make you look good. Hollywood can do that.”

 

Chris: “Oh my God! We could give them make-overs after-“

 

Ludvig and Dakon then rush Chris and Ryan. Dakon nails Chris with a hard right while Ludvig kicks Ryan in the ribs. Dakon then hits a series of European uppercuts on Chris as the bell sounds, while Ludvig hits a snap jab to the jaw of Ryan and then a left and a right before then jumping up and dropkicking Ryan out of the ring. Ryan rolls over and moves to see Oskar and Kemal. He then backs up as we see Dakon whip Chris into the ropes. Chris bounces off and Ludvig turns as Dakon then hoists him up for a spinebuster before spinning around and Eriksson jumps up, grabbing Chris and driving him down with a neckbreaker. Ludvig is forced out of the ring as Dakon goes for the pin. The official turns back.

Chris kicks out. He rolls over and crawls to the ropes.

 

Sharper: “And this match has just gone into overdrive and Hollywood-“

 

Knots: “Their big mouths…again! I don’t think EFN are in the mood!”

 

Chris gets up and Dakon heads over and hits a hard right to Chris. He falls back. Dakon then pushes him back in the neutral corner. Dakon then elbows him in the jaw before rearing back and elbowing him again and again and again.

Dakon steps back as Chris staggers out of the corner and spins around along the ropes. Dakon then turns and runs into the ropes. He bounces off and Chris suddenly jumps up and gets both feet up. Dakon stumbles back as Chris backflips through to the apron. Dakon spins around and Chris then grabs the middle rope and pulls on it, launching him into the ring with a somersault before jumping up and hitting a frankensteiner. The crowd ohs as Dakon rolls through and rolls over to the corner. Chris then crawls to the corner and Ryan tags in. Ryan enters the ring and runs at Dakon and hits a running clothesline. He then throws him out and Chris hits a dropkick. Ryan then dives onto Dakon as he hits the mat, going for the pin.

Dakon kicks out. Ryan then gets up and stomps him in the face and then again before standing on him and posing.

Dakon pushes him off. Dakon rolls over as Chris stands in the Hollywood corner.

 

Sharper: “And Ryan Hollywood after Chris’s agility, getting back into this.”

 

Knots: “Don’t piss them off more!”

 

Sharper: “I somehow believe they’ll find away.”

 

Ryan then grabs Dakon and places him on the middle rope. Ryan starts to choke him by sitting on his back. Eriksson walks along the apron and swings at it. Ryan jumps back and backs up. He then turns and tags in Chris. Chris enters the ring and runs across and slingshots over the top rope and lands on the back of Dakon’s head with a tomahawk chop. He then stops and spins around and then sees he’s in the EFN zone and quickly rolls back into the ring. Dakon rolls over and moves over to Eriksson tagging him in. Chris backs up, breathing a sigh of relief, but Eriksson climbs to the top rope and dives off with a missile dropkick, taking Chris down.

 

Sharper: “Chris got a bit flashy. Hit a good move. Maybe couldn’t hit something more substantive, but then got caught.”

 

Knots: “Theron got right to the EFN corner and now Chris has to deal with the Swedish part of the team.”

 

Chris gets up slowly and Eriksson nails him with a shot to the ribs. He then elbows him in the back of the head. Chris drops to the mat and Eriksson runs into the ropes, bouncing off and hitting a jumping knee drop to the back of Chris’s head. He rolls him over and hooks the leg.

Ryan breaks it up before quickly exiting the ring. Eriksson looks at him annoyed before turning back to Chris. He drags him up and moves him into the corner. Eriksson then chops him. The crowd woos. He then chops him again. More chops.

 

Chris: “Stop it!”

 

Eriksson jabs him in the jaw. Chris staggers out and Eriksson whips him into the ropes. He bounces off and Eriksson goes to scoop him up for something, but Chris manages to spin through, countering with a DDT. The crowd ohs. Chris then rolls over, reaching out for Ryan.

 

Sharper: “And pulling another major move. A spike DDT out of the tilt-a-whirl.”

 

Knots: “That horseshoe I assume he’s got tucked away somewhere coming back into use!”

 

Sharper: “Can Chris Hollywood get to Ryan though?”

 

Chris reaches out and crawls over before diving and tagging in Ryan. Ryan enters and Eriksson starts to get up and Ryan scoops him up and drives him down with a Michinoku driver. He stays on him for the pin, posing in the process.

Eriksson kicks out. Ryan falls back. He then turns and grabs Eriksson and drags him up and runs him into the neutral corner. He then nails him with a back elbow before a kick to the ribs and then repeats the process. Each time, he smiles, playing to the cameras in the crowd.

Ryan backs up and walks around the ring before running at Eriksson and jumping up for a splash, but Eriksson moves out of the way. Ryan falls back and Eriksson grabs him and hits a release German suplex.

 

Sharper: “Big German suplex. And Ryan Hollywood launched!”

 

Knots: “Almost discombobulated!”

 

Sharper: “And Chris…what are you doing?”

 

Knots: “It’s called a selfie and it’s even dumber than leaving your brother out to dry!”

 

Chris meanwhile is taking a selfie in the corner. Eriksson starts to get up and then turns and tags in Theron. Theron enters and runs across and Chris turns only to yell out as Theron drills him with a lunging European uppercut. The crowd ohs. Chris falls to the mat. Theron turns as Ryan gets up and looks at him and Theron drags him up and places his head between his legs. He then looks around before hoisting him up and driving him down with a snap powerbomb. The crowd ohs. Theron then turns and walks over to Eriksson. He tags him in as he then grabs Ryan and starts to lift him up before spinning him around. He places his head between his legs and lifts him up. The crowd erupts as Eriksson gets to the top rope. He then dives off as they hit the Fiery European Destroyer. Ryan hits the mat. Eriksson turns and goes for the pin. Chris starts to get up, looking in, while leaning on the apron. Theron turns and just watches him, glaring right at him.

The bell sounds.

 

Phillips: “Here are your winners, via pinfall, Ludvig Eriksson and Dakon Theron, The European Fiery Nation!”

 

Theron continues to threaten Chris as Eriksson gets up off Ryan. He then steps forward and the official raises their arms.

 

Sharper: “And Theron and Eriksson at the end, they did not even give Ryan or Chris an opportunity. They wanted to get this win. They wanted that message sent.”

 

Knots: “And after earlier, they needed that. I don’t know if Hollywood needed it. They may not even realize what was going on!”

 

Sharper: “Chris knows not to try and help his ‘brother’ right now!”

 

Knots: “Yeah…maybe let them leave!”

 

Eriksson then turns and steps over Ryan as Theron does the same. They then exit through the ropes to the floor. Chris then slides in and heads over to Ryan. Theron and Eriksson get congratulated by the rest of the EFN while Chris starts to check on Ryan. Then, seemingly he stops and turns and looks at his phone. He then starts to tell Ryan to get up before showing him the phone. The scene cuts away.

 

COMMERCIALS

 

A coin can be heard dropping into a coin slot, followed by a few girls giggling.  But before “C’est La Vie” by B*Witched can even begin, Colleen steps out onto the stage from the backstage area, wearing her normal all-black ring gear. She limps a bit, still showing the damage from her war against Kimberly Williams at Rebirth. Colleen just waves off the song, causing it to cut before the beginning of “How Far I’ll Go” by Auli’i Cravalho begins to play. Colleen nods once before beginning to slowly head down the entrance ramp. The SCW Underground Championship glistens over her shoulder. 

 

Sharper: “You can see that Colleen MacDonald survived her three stages of hell against Kimberly Williams still as Underground Champion.”

 

Knots: “They fought all over the ring, the building, and then in that immoral structure that Kimberly Williams came up with. They were blown up, maimed by barbed wire, and then light tubes. Just nuts!”

 

Sharper: “And you can see the damage. Still affecting Colleen MacDonald. It was a bloodbath and Colleen showing the effects.”

 

Knots: “Have you seen Kim tonight?”

 

Sharper: “I know she’s here, but I’ve not heard from her.”

 

Colleen MacDonald heads to the ring and then grabs at the ringpost, using it to help her climb up the steps and into the ring. She then walks along the apron and then steps into the ring. She takes a few steps and looks around. The crowd cheers her a bit as she looks around, still showing some cuts on her face. She looks around as she then heads over to the corner. Jason Phillips walks over and hands her the microphone. Colleen takes it and turns back to the middle of the ring. Her music fades out as Colleen MacDonald hears the crowd as they cheer her. She looks around and nods.

 

Colleen: “Thanks…I guess…”

 

Colleen looks down, the gears turning in her head as she tries to determine how to respond.

 

Colleen: “Kim….we had a war at Rebirth.”

 

Colleen stops for a moment.

 

Colleen: “I could stand out here and talk about how we did get the third fall I wanted. That your Kimmymaniacs forced us to take years off our life because of some sick desire to see us hurt ourselves. I could stand here and talk about how I just wanted to take the fight to you and at Rebirth, I fought the fight how I wanted to. I took a fight to you that focused on my desire to fight. There are a lot of ways to do that…”

 

Colleen pauses again as she walks around the ring.

 

Colleen: “I could talk about how we both did what no one thought we would…winning each other’s fall in the start. I could talk about how we fought all over the damn building. How unlike Retribution, we proved something as there was a winner and a loser…”

 

Colleen stops.

 

Colleen: “But at Rebirth, I showed that my ways of doing things are just as underground as anything coming out of your sick skull. And you…I wanted it personal. I wanted you to bring it…and you did…”

 

Colleen sighs.

 

Colleen: “Kim…I’ve been told you’re here. I didn’t think I’d ever say this two weeks ago, let alone now. I can’t stand here and say this isn’t your division. But I can say that the Underground is so much more than it was…and yet…you rose to my challenge. And…I….I don’t tend to share much. I don’t like sharing feelings and….”

 

Colleen looks down, clearly trying to force herself to say what she wants to.

 

Colleen: “There’s a part of that actually respects you Kim…”

 

Colleen looks down.

 

Colleen: “I’d like you to come to this ring. You said YUSA earned your respect and if she did after one match, after what we put ourselves through against one another…This should be a given!”

 

Colleen looks at the crowd and then to the entrance way.

 

Colleen: “Kim!”

 

Colleen limps a bit as she walks around the ring. The crowd starts to chant for Kim as Colleen looks around. She hears them for several moments before starting to get increasingly annoyed.

 

Knots: “Well I guess she’s not under the ring, or in the crowd or…”

 

Sharper: “She is here. I can tell you. But I assume she is taking this loss hard. Even harder than after the Chamber match last fall.”

 

Colleen looks around, the chants continuing. “Kim!” yelled out over and over by the Kansas crowd.

 

Colleen: “Kim…you God damned serious?!”

 

Colleen looks at the crowd and then to the entrance way. The crowd continues to chant. The wait continues to lull in the air.

 

Colleen: “No…no…Stop chanting for her! She is not going to get ANY plaudits if she can’t come out and at least disrespect me to my face. After what we did to one another….you know what, Kim…Go to hell!”

 

Colleen turns away from the entrance way as some of the crowd boos.

 

Colleen: “SCW…line up who’s next!”

 

Colleen then turns and throws the microphone in irritation. “How Far I’ll Go” plays as Colleen turns and heads over to the ropes. She steps through the ropes and slowly exits to the floor. She straightens her body up, showing again some more of the impact of the Three Stages of Hell match, before starting to head to the back.

 

Knots: “Well Colleen not happy Kim couldn’t be bothered to come out here.”

 

Sharper: “Not even cracking a joke. Not anything. Maybe Angelica Jones is trying to stop her from doing something foolish. The Underground Championship was hers in so many ways. And there may be another opportunity for her down the road to make history, but she’ll have to wait.”

 

Knots: “Still…she showed respect to YUSA and I think that’s the bigger thing. Colleen and YUSA…they hated each other!”

 

Sharper: “And you wonder now if that is what’s gone up Colleen sideways…”

 

Colleen storms to the back, clearly annoyed by the turn of events. The crowd looks on as the camera follows her as she heads to the back. She walks through the curtain as the scene cuts away.

 

COMMERCIALS

 

Breakdown returns as we see Derek Adonis standing backstage, talking to someone. He smiles as he starts to sell his pitch.

 

Adonis: “I’m also coming off a pretty big win and it’s reminded me that anything can happen. You just have to think positive. You just need to RISE….KABLAM!...to the occasion. And I think…I think I can answer a question you have.”

 

Adonis smiles.

 

Adonis: “I also have my own vision for the Underground…you like to fight. Kim like to….hurt….and I want to love. And well…maybe Colleen…”

 

The camera pans back as Colleen stands across from Adonis, clearly annoyed by this interruption in her night.

 

Adonis: “Maybe my vision needs a chance to compete against yours. To see whether it can blow up, hmmm?”

 

Colleen then steps up and kicks Adonis right between the legs. Adonis coughs and falls over to the ground, holding himself. Colleen just rolls her eyes and shakes her head before storming off. Adonis coughs as the KABLAMia Tourism Board members run over and check on Adonis as the scene cuts away.

 

Sal Darius vs. Crystal Zdunich

 

“California Love” by 2Pac Shakur hits the arena and Sal Darius comes out wearing his world's famous BluBlockers. The crowd boos as he looks around and laughs before extending his arms.

 

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall with a fifteen minute time limit. First, on his way to the ring, from Venice, California, the Sex Vibe, Sal Darius!”

 

He walks a little and then takes a sprint to the ring. After sliding in the ring underneath the bottom rope, he climbs the turnbuckle and points to his crotch. He then throws his BluBlocker aviators in the crowd and jumps back performing boxing shadow in the ring warming up for his bout.

 

Sharper: “Well guess who is back. Back to try and take SCW by storm.”

 

Knots: “Well the Sex Vibe looking good.”

 

Sharper: “What makes you say that?”

 

Knots: “He’s standing. He’s ready to go. That’s the bar here.”

 

The entire arena fades to black as we are left in nothing but darkness. All of a sudden Crystal's voice can be heard all throughout the speaker systems.

"YOUR SMILE MAKES MY HEART EXPLODE... THANK YOU FOR WAKING ME UP!!!!"

As soon as that is said explosions can be heard going off as we are treated to some flame pyros.

“Smile Bomb” by 17thekid plays across the speakers and it is at that moment when the crimson red haired "Burning Rose" Crystal Zdunich walks from the curtains. She makes her way to the ring. Crystal is focused as she walks to the ring with a purpose. She however slaps the outstretched hands of fans along the way. She runs up the stairs and walks to the middle of the apron. She flicks her hair before she drops down into a split that gains the pop of the entire crowd. She slides into the ring and as soon as she is inside she kips up to her feet. She tosses her Shoto inspired hoodie towards her wife as she awaits the start of the match.

 

Sharper: “Crystal Zdunich going to be a tough fight for Sal Darius. Again, she’s hungry, trying to get on track.”

 

Knots: “Well maybe Sal can convince her to take a dive.”

 

Sharper: “You think that’s going to work?”

 

Knots: “I’d love to see him try though!”

 

The bell sounds. Sal Darius steps up and poses, showing himself off. He just smirks before we then see Zdunich steps up and blasts Darius with a hard forearm. Darius staggers back. Zdunich follows up with another hard forearm shot and then another and another. Darius ends up in the corner. Zdunich kicks him over and over and over as Darius covers up in the corner.

Zdunich steps back and walks around the ring. She then turns and heads over to Darius and grabs him and goes to whip him across the ring, but Darius spins through and sends her in. She hits the corner and then runs out and Darius hits a back drop. The crowd ohs.

 

Sharper: “And Zdunich quite aggressive here, but Darius with the counter.”

 

Knots: “Well now you know what you’re dealing with. Zdunich hoping Darius has some rust!”

 

Darius turns as Zdunich gets up and Darius hits Zdunich with a California slap. The crowd ohs as Zdunich falls to a knee. Darius then looks at her and jaws at her, before Zdunich nails him with a hard right. She then hits a dropkick. Darius hits the mat. He then starts to get up and Zdunich runs at him and nails him with a hard right and then another and another. She then grabs him and goes for a running bulldog, but Darius shoves her off. She hits the ropes and Darius clotheslines her down. Zdunich rolls over and starts to get up and Darius hits an uppercut, knocking her down again before hitting an elbow drop. He goes for the lateral press.

Zdunich kicks out. She rolls over and starts to stir. Darius grabs her and drags her up before whipping her into the ropes. She bounces off and Darius hits a jumping roundhouse kick. Zdunich hits the mat.

 

Sharper: “Hard kick. That roundhouse right to the jaw. Zdunich floored!”

 

Knots: “Zdunich wanted to be aggressive. Darius is going to make sure he makes her regret it!”

 

Zdunich rolls over and stirs as Darius grabs her and hits a back suplex into a bridge.

Zdunich gets her shoulder up. She slowly gets up and moves to the ropes. Darius gets up and nails her with a hard forearm and then another and another. He whips her across the ring. She bounces off and Darius hits a dropkick. Zdunich slowly gets up and Darius scoops her up and slams her down. He then exits to the apron and then climbs up to the top rope. He looks at Zdunich and dives off for a frog splash. Zdunich rolls out of the way. Darius hits the mat. Zdunich gets up and runs into the ropes, before handspringing into the Smell the Roses. She rolls Darius over and goes for the pin.

Darius kicks out. Both get up and Darius walks into a chick kick. He goes down. Zdunich goes for another pin.

Darius kicks out again. Zdunich then gets up and grabs Darius and hits a dropkick. She then exits to the apron and climbs up to the top rope. She dives off going for a swanton bomb, but Darius rolls out of the way. The crowd ohs. Zdunich rolls over and gets up and Darius blasts her with a brogue kick.

 

Sharper: “And Darius did not miss!”

 

Knots: “Right to the head. Just got that sole of the boot right to the jaw.”

 

Sharper: “And Darius taking a moment to admire the impact!”

 

Darius smirks as he then poses over Zdunich. Zdunich slowly stirs, holding her jaw and Darius runs over her and jumps to the middle rope and hits the Sex Curse. He then hooks the leg.

Zdunich gets her shoulder up. Darius looks up and shakes his head. He walks around the ring. Zdunich slowly starts to get up. She looks out and winces, staggering up to her feet. She then turns around and Darius lunges at her and hits the Darius Knee Jerk. The crowd ohs. Darius smirks and turns back and hooks the legs.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Sal Darius!”

 

Sal Darius gets up and smirks before posing and showing himself off. The official raises his arm. Darius steps forward, holding his arm over his head and nods. He then points to himself as his music plays.

 

Sharper: “Sal Darius returns. Big win here. And looks like there is no rust.”

 

Knots: “Not a bit of rust there. And he’s loving showing it off.”

 

Sharper: “And if Darius is still as he was before, I don’t doubt we’ll be hearing a lot more from him!”

 

Darius continues to pose as the scene cuts away.

 

COMMERCIALS

 

Breakdown returns as we see Destiny Page on the phone.

 

Page: “I don’t know where these rumours are coming from…”

 

Page paces a bit.

 

Page: “I’ll try. Look, I’ll try and look into it. But I only just post picture and…okay, I have to do my job.”

 

Page hangs up and regroups herself as Sal Darius coming into the scene. He smirks as he looks around.

 

Darius: “Well this is the hot piece of ass that’s interviewing me. You’re new. So…how about we-“

 

Page: “Actually, Sal, I wanted to talk about your first match back.”

 

Darius: “You saw that. The Sex Vibe got it done. He always gets it done. I leave the people who want to be with me satisfied and-“

 

Page coughs and looks around.

 

Page: “Mr. Darius, please-“

 

Billy Heaven Jr. then stumbles into the scene, holding up his phone, while still showing some of the damage he’s taken over the recent months, including still wearing a neck brace.

 

Heaven Jr.: “Yo! I like your drip. You got it going on.”

 

Darius: “Well, always good to meet a fan. Would prefer you to be of the fairer sex-“

 

Heaven Jr.: “Nah, brah. Just saw you and thought you’d be a good guy to chat with. You’re different than most here.”

 

Page looks at both before backing up.

 

Darius: “A winner?”

 

Heaven Jr.: “Well duh, but ya also realize that there’s nothin’ wrong with just saying it like it is. Like take a look at this…”

 

Heaven Jr. holds up his phone.

 

Darius: “Damn…”

 

Heaven Jr.: “Exactly. And I happened to make a little video for her. Reminding Syren she’s got a hell of an ass. The plastic surgeon should be proud and they’re crashing out over it. Like what the hell?”

 

Darius: “2025 man. Women just don’t understand that men are honest.”

 

Heaven Jr.: “Totally. Look…wanna go pick up? I know a bitchin’ club and-“

 

Darius: “Sure…meet me in fifteen.”

 

Heaven Jr.: “Hell yeah.”

 

Heaven Jr. nods and walks off as Darius looks around. He then shrugs and heads off.

 

BELIEVE IT... OR NOT!

"Thank You for Hating Me!" by Citizen Soldier plays throughout the arena, the SCW Universe deafening the song with their boos. The lights shift to dark purple and blue, filling the arena as snow is seen “falling” along the electronic floor and screens as, out from the back, walks the Snow Queen, Selena Frost, taking in the crowd of the SCW Universe with a smirk.

 

Sharper: “Selena Frost three weeks ago came out to declare that she would be in Taking Hold of the Flame and that that was her attention right now, even with a contract to give her a rematch at the World Title.”

 

Knots: “It’s her world and we’re living in it.”

 

Sharper: “And now she’s going to be the final entrant into the field at Taking Hold of the Flame.”

Slowly, Selena shifts her head, her sapphire eyes locked towards the ring as she turns to her side and lifts her front hand gracefully, extending it towards the ring, palm upward. With a lift of her front foot, she suddenly slams it down into the ground, causing a crack like ice to form and sprint down the ramp and towards the ring!

Lowering her arm, the Blue-Eyed Devil walks down the ramp, her steps leaving footprints in the “snow” under her feet. Reaching the ring, Selena goes up the steps and under the ropes to enter it. Once inside and in the center of the ring, she stands still, confident and powerful, as the lights form to make a massive blue and black snowflake under her and the purple and blue lights. Raising her hand back up, towards the audience, once again palm upright, a wicked smirk graces her lips. With a slam of her foot, Selena causes the snowflake at her feet to “crack” as the rampway did, the shards of ice streaking out to all four corners of the ring to shoot out purple streaks of light from the turnbuckle the lights return to normal. She heads to the corner and asks for a microphone. Phillips hands her one and Selena turns back to the middle of the ring. The music fades out as the boos echo around the building.

 

Selena: “Not willing to cheer for greatness. You at least half-heartedly did for Colleen who deserved better than you gave her. Especially after what she had to put up with against Kim.”

 

Selena shakes her head.

 

Selena: “That’s fine…I instead want to focus on something else.”

 

Selena Frost turns to Jason Phillips.

 

Selena: “At Rebirth, I faced Syren and Glory Braddock. And I won. So Jason, if you could do me a favour and repeat what was heard at the end of my victory at Rebirth?”

 

Phillips looks around and nods before clearing his throat.

 

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, and number forty in the Taking Hold of the Flame, Selena Frost!”

 

The crowd boos as Selena Frost smiles.

 

Selena: “As if there was any doubt. Now as a result, unfortunately, Glory Braddock will have to prove just how good she is just to give herself a chance. She comes out at number one. And Syren…she’s going to have to see how the random draw favours her.”

 

Selena walks around the ring.

 

Selena: “But again…was there any doubt? Three weeks ago I came out here and said I planned to win Taking Hold of the Flame and I would go on to the main event of Rise to Greatness. I would challenge the World Champion. And I will win!”

 

The crowd boos as Selena looks right at the hard camera.

 

Selena: “But Glory, Syren, they doubted it. They tried to take that moment. A simple declaration, and instead, because of their hubris…and CHBK’s…you have just made things that much more direct. I could’ve been given any number. I was happy to see what would happen and instead, you’ve made my job easier. Well done. A good bit of work there, huh?”

 

Selena shakes her head.

 

Selena: “That’s fine. I did what I do. I win. I am at a level that others in SCW can only dream about and I am the one calling the shots. So…while others declare their entry into the Taking Hold of the Flame…Glory, Syren…I heard Meghan Strader earlier…I know others will too. I hope you know that your odds are worse than they would have been before. At least you had hope, but now, there is just simply what is going to happen. Until someone can stop me…BELIEVE it or NOT…I will not fail!”

 

Selena looks at the camera before we see Polly Pingotti walking down from the back. Selena turns and sees her as Polly continues to stagger down. Selena walks over and looks at her.

 

Selena: “What are you doing here?”

 

Polly Pingotti reaches the ring and pulls herself onto the apron.

 

Sharper: “Polly Pingotti coming down here…we saw her watching Syren and Meghan Strader’s interaction earlier.”

 

Knots: “I know Selena and Polly have spoken backstage. Polly’s even been overheard talking about how Selena has driven her and…”

 

Polly enters the ring and gets up and walks right over to Selena. Selena looks at her as Polly grabs the microphone and looks at Selena.

 

Polly: “Selena…I’m…I’m sorry. I’m not doing it well enough. I’m not responding well enough. I had it in my fingers…the TV Title…respect…and I flushed it away!”

 

Selena: “Polly-“

 

Polly: “No…No! I’m not going to let another opportunity slip through my fingers. Not after what you’ve tried to convince me of. My own self-worth. I need to smash through a glass ceiling. And Selena, I’m sorry….but I’m going to have to do this…”

 

Selena: “What are-“

 

Polly then strikes Selena with a hard right. Polly then looks at Selena as Selena falls to the mat, holding her jaw. In the process, Polly rips the microphone out of Selena’s hand. The crowd cheers.

 

Polly: “I need to hate you Selena. I need to do that because I need to eliminate you, Syren, Glory, MEGHAN….ANYONE…I need to win Taking Hold of the Flame! And I will go through you, Selena. I have to…to finally achieve what you’ve been pushing for me for all of the last year….one way or another…BELIEVE IT…”

 

Polly drops the microphone as the crowd yells out “OR NOT!” Polly backs up and then turns and drops down to the floor. She then starts to back away, running her hand along her face. She then spins around and walks to the back as Selena slowly starts to get up. She then looks at her.

 

Sharper: “Polly Pingotti blasting Selena Frost…and…”

 

Knots: “She’s holding on by a thread!”

 

Sharper: “And you hear that…she’s trying to find any motivation. There was clearly something there. Even Selena was trying to plead with her!”

 

Selena Frost gets up as Polly storms to the back.

 

The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen as we see a shot of the three options for the Light in the Darkness vs. The Fall of Man main event.

 

Sharper: “Folks, we’re not done here yet either. Main event – World Tag Team Championship on the line. But fans, what did you choose for this rematch.”

The crowd roars. The stats remain on the screen for a few moments before we cut to show the steel cage over the ring, spotlights shining on it. It starts to descend.

 

Sharper: “Fans choosing the steel cage. Fall of Man will defend their titles against Light in the Darkness in this Retribution rematch in a steel cage! That’s next, live on Breakdown!”

 

The scene cuts to commercials.

Light in the Darkness vs. The Fall of Man

SCW World Tag Team Championship

 

We return to see the steel cage set up around the ring.

 

Phillips: “Fans, the following contest is a steel cage match for the SCW World Tag Team Championship!”

 

The crowd roars as the SCW World Tag Team Championship logo comes across the screen.

All of a sudden, the lights go out, prompting a surprised pop from the fans. “In the Name of Love” by Arion feat. Cyan Kicks begins to play, the LED screens flickering to life to show a large wisteria tree in front of a starry night sky with a beautiful moon, the stars seeming like they’re slowly shifting and dancing around as petals from the tree fall and gracefully glide through the sky. One spotlight comes to life on the left side of the stage from the camera’s perspective, revealing Amelia Nevado standing underneath it, eyes focused on the ring and a small smile on her lips as her hands are folded in front of her, giving her the look of a proper young lady. A second spotlight comes to life on the right side of the stage, revealing La Pequeña Luz standing underneath it with the kind of grin that could light up a room all on its own as she motions with her hands for the fans to get pumped up, which they immediately proceed to do.

 

Phillips: “First, the challengers, from Tulancingo, Hidalgo, Mexico and Oxford, England respectively, they are the team of La Pequena Luz and Amelia Nevado, they are Light in the Darkness!”

 

The two slowly turn their attention to one another and begin closing the distance, their spotlights following them as they stop within arm’s reach of one another, where Amelia extends her hand and Luz takes it before they pull their bodies close, the spotlights merging into one piercing through the darkness. When the song goes into the chorus, the two ladies begin to literally waltz their way down to the ring, fast and fluid to keep pace with the song as the spotlight follows their every move, leaving fans mesmerized by their synergy. As the chorus reaches its end and the two find themselves at the bottom of the ramp, they push away from one another as far as their arms will allow without letting go before quickly pointing to the LED screens with their free hands, where the night scene is immediately engulfed in white before transitioning to a video package of the two ladies in action, both together and individually. Slowly, the two release one another, the single spotlight splitting in two again as Amelia makes her way up the steps and into the ring to walk across the apron on one side, wiping her feet before stepping through the ropes. Luz follows before entering the ring. She moves to the center of the ring and drops to her knees, cupping her hands together in front of her while Amelia stands right behind her, hands folded before her once again. As Luz lifts her cupped hands upward, the arena lights slowly begin to come back on as Amelia takes her hands and pulls her to her feet, spinning her around one final time into a tight embrace and a soft kiss before the two move to their corner to prepare for battle, with both girls shedding their robes and Amelia also removing her mask.

 

Sharper: “Fans have chosen the steel cage. Hopefully this will keep this as two on two. Luz and Amelia are hoping this will be the night they regain the titles they’ve held for much of the last year and a half.”

 

Knots: “You want them to be in a cage with Aries? With Creek? You think that’s good. Fans? You too? I don’t know. I’d take this as a sign that you want Light in the Darkness to get destroyed. And if that’s what you want…”

 

We hear the sound of a door open that rings out over the arena as we then hear the words

 

|| THE WONDERLAND MADMAN ||

‘Villain’ by Wildfire begins to play as the arena goes dark except for a psychedelic spotlight as from beneath the stage rises Giovanni Aries sitting cross legged dressed in his Psychedelic fur coat and trunks combo as he cackles out before jumping up and spinning with arms out. Giovanni cackles out once again as he looks at the crowd while lighting a Wonderland cigarette before he stops and yells out. He holds a damaged World Tag Team Championship belt.

 

“DEATH TO THE LIZARD KINGDOM”

He then makes a throat slashing gesture before cackling out once more. He then takes a drag as his music cuts and merges into the sound of a babbling brook overtake the PA and screen. Shortly after, a man dressed in a suit flickers onto the screen, standing in the middle of the creek, facing away from the camera. “Mountain Banjo” by Rhiannon Giddens comes over the system, and from behind curtain emerges a muscular figure, adorned by torn up flannels, being led by a black lab on a leash. The man, Waylon Creek, holding the other World Tag Team Championship belt, walks past Aries as William Heaven walks out with him. James Evans is also with them.

 

Phillips: “Their opponents, accompanied by William Heaven and James Evans, they are the SCW World Tag Team Champions, the team of Giovanni Aries and Waylon Creek, The Fall of Man!”

 

The dog leads the way as Waylon Creek follows close behind, looking around the arena. He hands the dog off to a stage hand when he gets to the ring and appears to say something to the dog. The dog sits calmly as Creek enters the ring up the steps and through the cage door. Giovanni pulls himself in after. He takes another drag of his cigarette. Aries drops the title as Creek goes to hand off his belt, but Aries then runs at Amelia, cigarette held up, going to burn her! Heaven smirks at ringside, outside of the cage. Demitra calls for the bell. The bell sounds.

 

Sharper: “Aries is trying to burn Amelia! She’s blocking it!”

 

Knots: “Welcome to being stuck in a cage with Aries!”

 

Aries keeps trying to force the cigarette at Amelia, only for Luz to turn and nail Aries in the side of the head. He staggers as Amelia then hits her with a forearm shot and then a European uppercut and another. Creek heads over and blocks a shot from Luz before headbutting her. Luz falls back into the corner. Creek follows up with a hard right to the head and then a series of hard right hands, causing Luz to drop down to her knees. The crowd looks on as Amelia turns and runs over to Creek and nails him from the side of the head. She nails him again and again. Creek falls to the ropes and Amelia hits a European uppercut. This stings Creek who staggers along the ropes.

 

Sharper: “And this is just a brawl to start. Hard uppercut by Amelia after we’ve gotten that damn cigarette out of there.”

 

Knots: “Creek’s still up though. You’re going to have to hit him far harder!”

 

Amelia hits a second European uppercut. Creek leans against the ropes. Amelia runs across the ring. But as she does, Aries pops up and clotheslines her down. He laughs as he then turns as Amelia starts to get up and Aries hits a Mongolian chop to the jaw of Amelia. She falls back into the corner. Aries then walks in and hits a chop to the chest before a hard right and then another chop. He goes to whip her across and towards Luz. Amelia runs out and Luz runs out, hooks her arm under Amelia’s. They spin through and Luz sends Amelia at Aries, her leaping at the end and taking Aries down with an awkward crossbody into the corner.

 

Sharper: “Luz and Amelia using their teamwork, their chemistry there.”

 

Knots: “Aries was going to use Amelia as a weapon and Luz countered that.”

 

Sharper: “And here comes Luz!”

 

Luz then runs over as Aries starts to pull himself up. Amelia moves to her hands and knees and Luz jumps off her back and hits a leg lariat to the head of Aries. She rolls down and starts to get up. Amelia gets up, but right into a hard right from Waylon Creek, which knocks her down. She rolls over and Creek kicks Luz in the ribs. Amelia gets up and Creek scoops her up onto his shoulders. He then looks at Luz as she gets up and Creek spins Amelia around, using her as a weapon, causing her feet to catch Luz in the head. She goes down as Creek throws Amelia down chest first into the mat.

 

Sharper: “Creek is just scary strong and he swung Amelia like she was nothing!”

 

Knots: “Certainly wasn’t nothing. Luz caught her Timbalands to the face!”

 

Creek then grabs Amelia and drags her up before gutwrenching her up and then running forward the cage and driving Amelia chest first into the steel. Amelia grabs at the ropes as Creek just lets go and she drops to the apron, sandwiched between the ropes and the chainlink. Aries then runs out and hits a clothesline to Luz as she gets up. Aries then turns around as Luz gets up and nails her with a hard right. She turns and right into Creek who nails her with a hard right. Luz slowly starts to get up and Aries then kicks her in the ribs. She falls back into the corner. Creek watches as Aries starts to stomp away on Luz, over and over. She slowly starts to slide down to a seated position. Aries then leans in and starts to choke her.

Aries ignores the count as Demitra tries to get him off of her. After several more seconds, he pulls off and Amelia lunges and nails Aries from the side, nailing him with a lunging hard right. This leads to Creek stepping back in and grabbing Amelia, dragging her up and then elbowing her in the back of the head. She rolls over and moves to the ropes.

 

Sharper: “I don’t even know how to suggest Light in the Darkness fight back. This is a smothering offense.”

 

Knots: “Aries is unpredictable. Everything just hurts with Creek. And they are just dissecting these two! Still want the cage match, fans?”

 

Amelia grabs at the ropes and Creek grabs her and spins her around and forearms her in the jaw. He then whips her across the ring. Aries then waits and lifts her up only for Creek to hit a running version of a hart attack. The crowd ohs. Aries goes for the pin.

Luz breaks it up. Creek then grabs her and drags her up, but Luz then somersaults forward, kicking at the hand of Creek. Creek shakes his hand and Luz then backflips into a headscissors. She tries to snap him forward, but Creek stops at the top rope. Luz then nips up and Aries goes for a clothesline, but Luz dodges, falling back before nipping back up and then jumps up and hits a dropkick to Creek. Creek stages to the corner. Luz then gets up and Aries hits an overhead chop and then another before then grabbing her and pulling her into the corner. Aries then goes for a hard right, but Luz blocks it and then kicks him in the ribs before then jumping to the middle rope and jumping forward, landing on Aries’s back and hits a sunset flip bomb!

Aries kicks out. Luz rolls over and gets up and Creek scoops her up and then slams her before hitting a leg drop. The crowd ohs.

 

Sharper: “And Creek stops Luz as she finally got some offense!”

 

Knots: “Nothing flashy. That’s Creek. You know it’s going to hurt and he’s going to make it hurt.”

 

Creek grabs Luz and drags her back up and knees her in the ribs before then going for the pumphandle. He hoists her up, but Amelia steps up from behind and pulls Luz down behind Creek. Creek turns around and they hit a double dropkick. Creek falls back into the ropes and steps forward and both get up and hit a jumping double enziguri before they get up and Amelia tries to lift Creek up, but gets him up just enough for the Light in the Darkness to hit the Guiding Light! They roll him over and both cover him.

Creek kicks out. Creek rolls over as Luz and Amelia both then get up and look around before pointing to Aries.

 

Sharper: “And Light in the Darkness have an opening! They have a big opening and they need to do some damage.”

 

Knots: “They’re thinking fast. They better get this right!”

 

Creek slowly stirs as Aries starts to get up and Amelia hits a European uppercut and then Luz runs over and grabs Aries too. They pull him out and whip him across the ring. Aries bounces off and then they grab him and step back and hit a hip toss into the ropes and the cage. Aries lands awkwardly falling to the apron. They then get up and Creek nails Luz with a hard right. This knocks her down only for Amelia to hits a European uppercut. She then ducks a hard right before hitting a dropkick. Creek falls back into the corner. Amelia gets up and moves to the middle of the ring before running at Creek and hitting a running dropkick to the chest of Creek. Creek rolls over. Amelia dives onto him for the pin.

Creek kicks out. She rolls off, but then Luz hits a springboard leg drop to Creek. Aries starts to get up and Amelia grabs him and nails him with a forearm shot and then another. She then goes to whip him across, but Aries spins through and sends Amelia into the ropes. Instead, however, of attacking her. Luz gets up only for Aries to run at her and just spear her down. He rolls away and Amelia grabs him and starts to go for a crossface chickenwing!

 

Sharper: “Light in the Darkness doing that damage, but crossface! Crossface chickenwing!”

 

Knots: “Wait! She’s not getting him to the Wonderland! He already embraces it!”

 

Sharper: “And Amelia showing her technical skill. She’s trying to make Aries tap out and to a hold he knows well!”

 

Amelia keeps the hold on as Aries tries to swing around, trying to get her off of him. Amelia keeps pulling on his arm and head. Aries keeps struggling. She tries to go for a leg trip as Aries falls to a knee and Amelia keeps trying to pull him down. The crowd looks on as Aries reaches out and just then, Creek steps up and nails Amelia with a vicious spear, knocking Aries back, but Amelia takes the worst of it as Creek rolls through. The crowd ohs.

 

Sharper: “My God! That spear…”

 

Knots: “Creek may have the most violent of the spears in SCW. Ask Amelia!”

 

Creek turns and hooks Amelia’s leg.

Amelia shoots her shoulder up. Creek rolls off and then starts to get up. The crowd however starts to cheer as we see Luz climbing up the corner. She then starts to climb up the cage.

 

Knots: “Luz is trying to escape! I knew it! Cut bait and run. True love never lasts!”

 

Sharper: “I don’t think that’s it at all. I think Luz knows the one thing she can do that Aries and Creek can’t and I don’t know if they’ve noticed her yet!”

 

The crowd roars as Creek, focused still on Amelia pulls her up and then bends her over and pumphandles her up and drives her down with a pumphandle slam. She rolls over from the impact and winces as Luz gets to the top of the cage. He then looks over as Aries staggers up and grabs at Creek, before using him to stretch out his arm. Creek looks at him and then looks around before seeing Luz who stands now on the top of the cage. She then dives off and hits the Caer del Cielo off the top of the cage and onto Creek and Aries! The crowd erupts in cheers before a “Holy Shit!” chant breaks out.

 

Sharper: “La Pequena Luz! From the top of the cage! A 450 splash! Good lord!”

 

Knots: “And she got both!”

 

Sharper: “She made sure to get both and for the first time, everyone is down with the Light in the Darkness in control!”

 

Knots: “Well, Luz is. Amelia took a hell of a pumphandle slam first!”

 

Luz winces as she rolls over and crawls over to Amelia. She checks on her as Amelia waves her off. Luz slowly pulls herself up as Aries and Creek stir and Luz then turns and exits to the apron. She climbs up to the top rope. Creek rolls to his hands and knees as Aries rolls away. Luz steadies herself and hits a swanton bomb to the back of Creek. Creek rolls to his side and then back. Luz dives onto him.

Creek gets his shoulder up. Creek rolls over as Luz gets up. Aries stirs and Luz heads over and kicks him in the ribs once and then again and again. Amelia starts to get up and Luz then snapmares Aries down. Luz and Amelia run into opposite sides of the ring and meet at Aries, hitting the Frozen Gauntlet. The crowd ohs. Amelia turns and goes for the pin.

Aries shoots his shoulder up. Creek then starts to get up in the corner. Luz then runs over and nails Creek with a hard forearm and then another as Amelia gets up. Heaven paces on the floor before we see Luz look at Amelia. Luz drops down in front of Creek. Amelia then runs over and jumps off the back of Luz and into a crossbody, but Creek then catches her. He then throws her down. Luz gets up and Creek kicks her in the ribs and then runs out and hits a vicious clothesline. Luz is turned inside out as Amelia crawls to the ropes. Creek starts to get up.

 

Sharper: “And just like that-“

 

Knots: “That’s the power of Creek! That’s why Heaven says he’s a future dominant star. One shot and he can turn ANYTHING around!”

 

Creek then turns and heads over to Amelia and grabs her, but Amelia then suddenly drop toe holds him into the cage. Creek falls to a knee. Amelia rolls over. She then crawls to the ropes and gets up, running across the ring, bouncing off and jumping into Creek with a running leg lariat. Both collapse to the mat. Heaven paces on the floor as he yells at Creek or Aries to get up. Heaven shakes the cage in a bit of frustration. The crowd roars as we then see David Striker climbing out from under the cage. Heaven looks around as Striker gets up. He then steps forward.

 

Sharper: “Oh my God! It’s David Striker!”

 

Knots: “What? Was he under the ring?”

 

Sharper: “Yes he was. And Heaven alone at ringside!”

 

Knots: “Don’t you touch him. What about what happened to Chris Dumont? Charges are still pending!”

 

We then see Irvine and Kyle Gibson hop the guardrail before we see Chris Dumont crawl out on the other side of Heaven. Heaven looks around, his eyes widening as Chris Dumont starts to get up and stands behind him. Striker smirks, stretching his arm before pointing behind him. Heaven turns around. The crowd roars as James Evans then runs out from the back with some members of security. He jogs down and runs around the ring. Security starts to go over as Chris Dumont starts to advance on Heaven. Heaven backs up as Creek grabs at the cage and looks at him. Amelia meanwhile hits a European uppercut on Aries and then grabs him. He goes to lift him up before running him into Creek. Luz stirs as Evans runs around and Striker turns to him and Evans nails Striker with a hard right. Dumont, Gibson and Irvine then start to move forward as Dumont goes for Heaven. Security however gets between him and Heaven, pushing him back to the cage. Creek then grabs Dumont by the hair through the cage. Amelia kicks at him as Luz grabs Aries. She whips Aries into the corner as Creek then turns and shoves Amelia back into Luz. Both go down. Creek stirs as the crowd erupts in cheers as Xander Valentine storms out from the back. He takes his sling and rips it off, throwing it into the crowd before storming the ring. Heaven is backed up by security as they keep Irvine, Gibson, and Dumont away from him. Evans gets another shot in on Striker as Striker grabs at him before officials get between them. Evans then turns as Xander Valentine runs for the cage. The official goes to stop him, but Xander throws him down before grabbing the door of the cage. He grabs it and shakes it once and then twice before pulling it right off its hinges!

 

Sharper: “My God! Xander! With one arm! He pulled that door right off its hinges!”

 

Knots: “Evans is running around! Stop him! Security has the Troupe. They should all be arrested!”

 

Xander throws the door down. Evans runs around and Xander enters the ring. Creek gets up as Xander then lunges and goes for a running boot, but Creek ducks and Xander catches Amelia. The crowd ohs and Xander turns before Creek hits the ropes, bouncing off and hits a spear, nailing Xander right in his left arm as he brings it down and driving Xander down. Xander rolls over, grabbing his injured shoulder. Luz then then grabs Creek, but just then, Aries, who had bee thrown to the corner had climbed up to the top rope and hits the Death to the Lizard Kingdom. Luz goes down. Aries turns and hooks the leg. James stands at the door of the cage smiling.

The crowd boos as the bell sounds.

 

Phillips: “Here are your winners, via pinfall, and STILL SCW World Tag Team Champions, The Fall of Man!”

 

Knots: “Yes!”

 

Sharper: “Xander Valentine driven by bloodlust. He went right for Creek, but everything went wrong for Xander. And then the Light in the Darkness caught in the middle!”

 

Knots: “While the Phantom Troupe are still threatening Heaven. Dumont keeps telling him he’s going to get him.”

 

Heaven backs up to James Evans as Evans stands behind him before moving forward. Dumont keeps yelling at Heaven, held back by security. Aries then gets up as Creek turns and looks at Xander, down, clutching his arm, in pain. The crowd looks on and boos as the scene fades to black…
