We then cut to a live shot of the inside of ExtraMile Arena in Boise, Idaho. The crowd cheers as pyro shoots out from the base of the stage. The display continues for a few moments before spotlights circle the arena and the cameras pan across the crowd for a few moments.

Sharper: “We are live in Boise as the Trios Tournament returns!”

The cameras pan the crowd before we cut to ringside where Adam Sharper and Jonathan Knots sit at the announce position.

Sharper: “Welcome to ringside. Adam Sharper here with Jonathan Knots and tonight, the Trios Tournament, as I just said, it’s back.”

Knots: “Eight teams of three. All randomly drawn. The winning team, each member gets a contract for one match in the next year. You want a World Title shot, win the tournament. You want to get the absolute revenge, win the tournament!”

Sharper: “Tonight, the quarterfinals and semifinals will take place. We’re also hoping to get word from CHBK, from Alex Desoubrais, about who he was going to announce as Josh Hudson’s number one contender. And folks, lots to come and we’re not wasting any time!”

Trios Tournament Quarterfinals Match

‘Trailer Talk’ by FJ Outlaw rings out over the arena as Leroy Adams, holding the SCW Underground Championship walks out behind the curtain as he stops on the stage. William Heaven follows behind. He head bobs to the music a minute before bobbing his whole body as he really gets into the music. He then begins focusing on the ring. He marches his way the ring slapping hands with fans, taking a swig of a fans beer. He makes it the ring and rolls in. He staggers up to his feet and walks over to the corner, takes off his wife beater and climb up the turnbuckle. He throws his hands up before jumping down and getting ready for the match.

Knots: “Here comes our new Underground Champion, and I’m wondering whether or not there are some big changes coming for this young man.”

Sharper: “He’s a hell of a talent. William Heaven aiming to put that all together.”

The arena goes dark and there the crowd begins to buzz wondering who is coming out. As "Sonne" by Rammstein begins to play, lasers begin to shoot across the arena to the beat, and a spotlight illuminates The Oracle on the entry way, back to the crowd, holding fingers up with the opening count-up.

As she holds up the ninth finger, the song stops the countdown at its crescendo, and she throws her arms out to the side...

AUS!

Spotlights begin to swirl around the arena as the song continues, and "The One" Kirsten Scott walks out from backstage flanked by Hailey. The pair end up on both sides of The Oracle, who turns around and spins to the opposite side of Kirsten from Hailey. Kirsten and her compatriots begin their walk to the ring together with "The One" staring directly at her ultimate location inside the squared circle.

As they reach the ring, they walk along to the hard camera side, and Kirsten jumps up onto the ring apron and stands up. Hailey goes into the ring, directly behind her friend, jumping on the middle rope, and The Oracle stands on the floor directly beneath Kirsten. Kirsten slowly raises her arm beside her, pointing one index finger in her own direction, while Hailey and The Oracle begin doing the same in Kirsten's direction as well, all signifying her former name, and now nickname, of "The One."

After taking a moment to stare into the hard cam, Kirsten swings her arm out in a "DELETE" motion, before quickly sliding into the open ropes from being stood on by Hailey, and immediately goes to her corner. Hailey quickly follows, as does The Oracle from the outside. Both of "The One's" compatriots stand with her, advising her and talking to her, as she awaits the bell ringing to start her match.

Knots: “Fresh off losing to Scott Reed, Kirsten Scott will be looking for a rebound victory.”

Sharper: “You can’t ever count The One out. She’s as dangerous as it gets and she demands to be taken seriously.”

“Burn the Ships” by Blacktop Mojo hits the PA and Wil Pierce makes his way out to the ring without Alec Belmont. He looks intently down at the ring, arrogantly smirking. When he gets to the ring, he climbs up the steps and stands on the second rope, looking out to the crowd.
His music dies out as he joins his teammates.

Knots: “Wil Pierce of the Shinigami Foundation will be sans Alec Belmont tonight as he’s been drawn to this team of Leroy Adams and Kirsten Scott.”

Sharper: “Big guy, big talent, he’s just looking for a seam here in SCW to get rolling.”

The arena darkens before:

Nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan

The Nyan cat appears on the screen, with the crowd popping. The cat in a poptart, farting rainbows steers around and breaks right into the screen, showing a window crack before breaking. At that moment, “Catch Me If You Can” by BABYMETAL’s opening riffs plays, and the girls' voice count:

One-Two
One-Two-Three-Four!

Out pops YUYO from behind the curtains. Bright white light now shines down on the stage, following YUYO. Mister Meowkazawa follows her to stand behind her. A moment later, her fellow Shining Maidens of SCW members join her as well. NEMO and SAWA pose at either side of YUYO. YUYO steps up to the top of the ramp and places her hands on her hips. Meowkazawa hands her the magical staff, Gríðarvölr. She spins the staff around with a display of talent, the long purple and white ribbons attached to the staff’s end flash. When she stops, she thrusts one hand forward while holding the staff behind her back.

YUYO: “HA!”

Phillips: “Ladies and gentlemen, descending from the sea of stars above, weighing at 110 pounds, the Guardian of Love, Justice and Peace— Magical Cosmic Princess, YUYO!”

YUYO springs down the ramp, staff in hand, she tosses it into the ring as she slides in under the bottom rope. She pops to her feet, picks up the staff again in a single stride, and then straight to the corner. She holds the staff like a gun and aims towards the ceiling, “BANG! BANG!”. Mr. Meowkazawa catches up to her, taking the staff while she remains in the corner. She points to the sky, “FOREVER!”. SAWA echoes YUYO's call while NEMO stands stoically off to the side. YUYO runs to the next corner and repeats, “FOREVER!”. She hops off the corner with a superhero landing! She then puts on a “mean” face as she readies for the match.

Knots: “Here comes our Adrenaline Champ and you have to think that any team that has YUYO stands a great chance.”

Sharper: “She’s hotter than hot gets right now and she’s really come into her own of late, a cult following and company gold around her waist.”

The lights around the arena begin to flicker as "Whoa Is Me" by Down With Webster starts to play over the arena.

The crowd boos as "All Star" Gavin Taylor steps out from behind the curtain onto the top of the ramp. As he stands in place, posing with his arms outstretched, the chorus of the song plays.

Gavin begins to walk down the ramp with swagger. He smirks as he gets to the ring. Pulling himself to the apron, he hangs out off the ring while holding onto the top rope.

I bet you don't see me, I bet you get caught

Gavin pulls himself through the ropes and steps onto the second ropes on the opposite side of the ring from the ramp. He opens his jersey, sliding it off his shoulders as he stretches his arms out.

Turning around, he bounces back off the ropes and joins YUYO in their corner.

Knots: “Gavin Taylor a multi sport athlete and he’s got a chance to really make some noise here in this Trios Tournament.”

Sharper: “He’s always been incredible. Just a matter of putting it altogether and perhaps this is the tournament for him to do that.”

The first chords of "Immortal" by Ozzy Osbourne begins to play over the PA system...)

Phillips: From London, England, she is The British Bombshell GLORY BRADDOCK!

(Glory Braddock steps out onto the stage, wearing her ring gear consisting of purple spandex pants, boots, and a purple top. She really does look like a million bucks and grins from ear to ear, gazing out at the crowd for a moment before making her way down the entrance ramp.)

(The British Bombshell steps up the steel steps and then onto the ring apron. She poses momentarily on the apron, allowing people to take snapshots before stepping through the ropes and into the ring. Once in the ring Glory heads to the center of the ring and poses once more. Then the music dies down slowly...)

Knots: “Glory Braddock a former World Champion here will be looking for another opportunity to stake her claim at her own discretion.”

Sharper: “This is a dangerous team of competitors. A lot of success between these three and growing. This should be a great match.”

The bell sounds as Wil Pierce is going to start this one against YUYO. YUYO looks at her much larger opponent and crosses her arms in defiance, giving a huff. Wil shrugs and steps forward. They lock up briefly, with YUYO darting to the side and rolling, jumping up for a dropkick that Pierce swats down. YUYO hits the ground. Will grabs her as she attempts to get up and launches her into the air and flat on her back. Wil watches as a still defiant YUYO rolls to her feet.

Knots: “YUYO isn’t even 5 feet tall and maybe a sea hair above 100 lbs. Giving up a lot of size.

Sharper: “But not giving up any in heart though. She’s been on a roll since coming back.”

YUYO pulls herself to her feet and circles Pierce, who stays still. She taunts Wil a little bit, who initially doesn’t buy it, but then shrugs and lunges for YUYO, who hits a drop toe hold. Pearce doesn’t go all the way down. He grabs at her leg from behind, but gets a stiff front boot to the chest. Pearce turns and brings her to her feet, by one foot. YUYO attempts an enziguiri but misses, lands on her foot one other side, then comes back around with a follow-up! Wil lets go and reels to the ropes. YUYO kips up and drop kicks Pierce into the ropes. Slumped over the second rope, YUYO jumps and delivers a draping leg drop on the middle rope, sliding through. YUYO plays to the crowd a bit as Glory rolls her eyes. YUYO rolls back in and tags in Gavin Taylor. Taylor steps through and unloads on Pierce with some stiff rights before the ref breaks it up. Pierce holds his face, Gavin with an athletic looking headlock takeover. Wil struggles as Gavin applies pressure. The long leg of Pierce reaches the bottom rope as Gavin begins to throw some more rights before the ref breaks it up.

Knots: “YUYO lighting Pierce up quick and getting out of there quick.”

Sharper: “Great strategy, and now she’s letting a physically stronger teammate get some work in.”

Knots: “Narrowly stronger, Adam.”

Gavin Taylor with a boot now. He attempts a vertical Suplex but Pierce doesn’t go. Pierce instead reverses Gavin into a vertical Suplex of his own. He leaves it hooked and brings him to his feet for a second vertical Suplex. Gavin swings out of it and attempts a hip toss. Pierce won’t go for that, either. Stiff overhand chop to Taylor that drops him to the mat. Taylor up to his feet now and he eats a stiff European uppercut. Taylor into the corner now. Pierce tags in Leroy Adams. William Heaven claps as he cheers Leroy on. Leroy with some boots. Scott jaws at Pierce for not giving her the tag. Leroy unloads on Taylor in the corner, throwing straight rights and stomps. The ref pulls him off, but while his back is turned, The One gets down and chokes Gavin Taylor on the second rope. She lets go as the referee turns around. Leroy looks at her as he continues to throw hard rights into Gavin Taylor. He lifts him up in a bear hug and squeezes for a few seconds before driving him back into the corner. He gives the tag to Scott, who locks Taylor in a chicken wing. She brings him into the middle of the ring and puts her foot on the back of his leg to bring him down before attempting an arm bar. Gavin leaves his hands locked, eventually scurrying to get his foot on the bottom rope.

Knots: “From one extreme to the other. Leroy Adams beating the All-Star like a rented mule before Kirsten Scott tries to manually disassemble him.”

Sharper: “Leroy just beating the hell out of Gavin Taylor in there, our new Underground Champion.”

Knots: “And one has to wonder what kind of contract he’s on now under the guidance of William Heaven.”

The ref breaks the hold. Scott back on the offensive with a stiff kick. She brings Gavin to his feet and levels him with a hard scoop slam. Right back down to the ground game now, applying a rear naked choke. She attempts to wrap her legs around Gavin’s waist as he struggles, but he rolls backward into a pinning predicament!

Scott breaks her hold, forcing the break. Scott hurries to her feet and charges, only to be dropped with a spinning spinebuster! Scott rolls off, Taylor hits the ropes and drills her with a Shining Wizard! He makes a cover.

Kick out by Scott. Taylor drags her over and tags in Glory Braddock, who gets in. They talk for a brief second before sending Scott for a ride, nailing her with a double hip toss. Braddock makes a cover!

Braddock goes right back on the offensive, bringing Scott in and dropping her with a neck breaker. She goes to make a cover as Scott rolls over but Scott wisely rolls to the apron, staying in the ring but grabbing the bottom rope. Braddock comes in to pull Scott through the ropes, but Scott pushes her way through the second and third ropes aggressively and drives her into her own corner. Pierce tags himself in. Hr gets in and Scott jawjacks with Braddock. Pierce with a bridging fisherman suplex!

Knots: “Kickout by Glory!”

Sharper: “What a pretty Suplex that was by Wil Pierce, and the Bombshell is reeling.”

Pierce pulls his opponent up and chokes Braddock with her foot in the top corner. Leroy with a quick tag. Leroy gets in and throws blows into Braddock’s midsection. Leroy drives his shoulder into Braddock’s ribs. Scott tags in now. Scott gets in and goes to the opposite corner as Leroy continues to work Glory with his shoulders. Scott comes in and splashes Glory into the corner as Leroy peels away. Glory hits the mat. Scott grabs her arm now and tags back in Pierce. Pierce begins to work the elbow of Glory Braddock now, manipulating it backwards. He starts to work her hand. Glory yells out in pain. Leroy tags himself in now and stomps away at Glory.

Knots: “Fast tag action being deployed here by this team of Pierce, Adams, and Scott.”

Sharper: “Three very dangerous competitors on that team right there and they’ve got a plan.”

Leroy comes in and off the ropes while Pierce has the elbow and he lets go just as Leroy connects with the Natty Light Lariat!

Kickout by Braddock. Leroy gets her to her feet and throws a few forearms into her back. He grabs her in a headlock and tries a hip toss, but Braddock rolls through. Leroy lunges in after her but eats a double knee face buster! The crowd oh’s as Glory tries to recover. The impact of the move launches Leroy backwards. Pierce tags himself in now. He comes in to work Braddock over at the elbow, but Glory clamps down and explodes with a knee to Pierce’s gut. She locks in a dragon sleeper! Pierce begins to struggle, but he drops to the mat. Kirsten Scott gets in and attempts to roundhouse kick Glory, but she ducks it, leaving the Dragon Sleeper locked in. A kick to her gut and now she’s bent over. Glory hooks her in DDT position, then drops them both in a DDT/reverse DDT combo! The crowd roars its approval as Glory crawls over to tag in YUYO.

Knots: “Glory single-handedly taking out all three after enduring some serious punishment!”

Dawson: “Hell of a move by Glory to DDT not one, but two opponents!”

Pierce tries to recoup in the corner. YUYO runs into the corner, leaps into the second rope, kisses Pierce on the forehead. She jumps back, spinning and nailing Pierce with a stiff spinning elbow.

YUYO: “JUSTICE!”

She bounds off the ropes and comes flying in and drives two knees into Pierce. Scott comes flying in and blasts YUYO with a stiff running forearm. YUYO hits the ground and Scott begins to stomp away as the boos come raining down. She lifts YUYO up as the referee reminds her she is not legal, hooking her for a butterfly suplex and drilling her with it! Gavin Taylor tries to break it up but has been knocked down by Leroy Adams, who also enters illegally and knocks Gavin down with a stiff right, She stands over YUYO’s fallen body. The ref aggressively yells at Leroy and The One to get back to their corners. Pierce is back to his feet. He grabs YUYO and throws some blows into YUYO before tagging in Scott. Scott with some elbow grinds to YUYO in the corner before hitting a belly to belly suplex.

Knots: “The One is such a force, she doesn’t care about anything except inflicting herself on her opponents.”

Sharper: “And she does so with great effect.”

Scott shoots for YUYO’s legs, but she dives and tags in Braddock! Glory pulls herself through the second and third ropes and spears Scott! Gavin tags himself in to some boos, and leaps over the top rope with a diving senton. He makes the cover!

Kickout by Scott!

Gavin begins to hammer down some blows on Scott as he plays to the crowd. He lifts her up and motions to the crowd.

Gavin: “That’s it! This one ain’t making the All-Star roster!”

Scott shoots at Gavin’s leg, bringing him down to his back. Scott, shaking off some cobwebs, scurries over and tags in Leroy. YUYO slaps hands with Gavin and tags herself in, to Gavin’s chagrin. Leroy comes into the ring and overpowers YUYO with a stiff right as YUYO drops. Leroy calls for the Garnishing of Wages! He hooks her in position, but Gavin pulls YUYO down by leaning over the top rope. Gavin drops to the floor as Leroy swipes at him. On the outside, Pierce drops from the apron and rushes Gavin, only to be met by a diving hurricanrana from Glory! YUYO drop kicks Leroy hard in the back, then hits him with a flipping stunner! Kirsten Scott comes to argue with Gavin! Inside the ring, YUYO sizes Leroy up!

The bell sounds as the ref calls the end of the match.

Knots: “YUYO, Glory, and Gavin advance!”

Sharper: “And Leroy! Leroy has been beaten by a Shining Maiden! YUSA is due a shot at that title in the near future. And Leroy has just gotten a taste of what that group is all about!”

The ref raises YUYO’s hand. Heaven has his hands on his head, exhaling deeply as he collects Leroy, who grimaces, holding his head. Gavin and Glory have their hands raised as they meet with YUYO in the ring.

Trios Tournament Quarterfinals Match

“Victorious” by Skillet begins playing as the lights dim a bit. Slowly, Amelia Blythe makes her way onto the stage, putting herself front and center as she folds her hands in front of her, looking like a proper young lady as she looks somewhat solemnly down towards the ring. After a moment of this, Amelia slowly unfolds her hands and runs them along her mask, a smile slowly coming to her face. The SCW World Tag Team Championship sits around her waist.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a thirty minute time limit and is a quarterfinals match in the 2024 Trios Tournament. For the first team, first, coming down to the ring, from Oxford, England, she is one half of the SCW World Tag Team Champions, she is Amelia Blythe!”

With this, she proceeds to head down to the ring, her look growing more determined and battle-ready the closer she gets. Once she reaches ringside, Amelia climbs the ring steps onto the apron, wiping her feet before stepping through the ropes. As the song goes into the chorus, Amelia gives a victorious fist pump to the delight of the fans as she takes a moment to soak in the lyrics before removing her robe and the mask, giving the latter a quick kiss before she sets them both in her corner.

Sharper: “Both members of the Light in the Darkness are in this tournament on separate teams. If they do face, it will be in the finals.”

Knots: “Both are hoping for that, I’m sure. Both to delay it, but also it means one would walk away with a contract.”

Sharper: “But of course, a lot to do to get there and ultimately, Amelia’s team. I don’t know if they have an advantage of not. Perhaps more united in one sense, but there is the unknown that is Billy Heaven Jr.”

Knots: “Oh, there’s a known quality there!”

Do it baby! Do what I should think!

The opening polyphonic strokes of Tommy Richman’s “Million Dollar Baby” hit the PA, and the crowd immediately turns to boos. The stage lights intensify in brightness. Through the light, we can see the outline of an emerging competitor.

I AIN’T EVER REP A SET BABY!

A two-step through the light and into the ramp, Billy Heaven pops onto the scene in his wrestling gear, a very large pair of sunglasses on his face.

I AIN’T DO NO WRONG!

A shimmy and a hard stop.

I COULD CLEAN UP GOOD FOR YA! OH I KNOW RIGHT FROM WRONG!

A sharp three-hundred degree pivot on the ball of his foot, a crisp landing in a split-legged stance, left hand pointing to the sky.

‘CAUSE I WANNA MAKE IT, SO BADLY!

A sharp return of his upward pointed hand into an intense pump, thrust, and strut forward.

I’M A MILLION DOLLA BAYBAY, DON’T AT ME!

Phillips: “Next, from Los Angeles, California, this is Billy Heaven Jr.!”

And with that said, Billy Heaven Jr. obnoxiously smiles pointing to the crowd as he makes his way down to the ring. He rolls under the bottom rope, outstretched arms to receive his less than warm ovation, but it does not seem to register. He takes the sunglasses off and sets them on the top turnbuckle before standing on the second rope, leg over the top, bringing his hands together in a prayer. “Milllon Dollar Baby” dies out. He then turns and looks at Amelia and nods. He then walks over and goes to hug her, but Amelia moves away.

Sharper: “And Billy Heaven Jr. made an interesting debut last week.”

Knots: “Two HR violations already!”

Sharper: “And looking for a third. But he better be on his best behaviour.”

Knots: “We could see a murder. From either Amelia or Xander!”

The few opening keystrokes of “Soul on Fire” by Last Internationale chimed. A lull before the storm as the crowd seems to calm for only a moment before Delila Paz’s blues dominate the audio.

A singular light appears before the curtains, on the other side is the outline of a large man. On the screen, we’re shown Xander Valentine holding onto the bars of a prison cell. He starts to bend the bars before the scene blurs.

The curtain drops to reveal Xander. A quick salvo of pyros explodes in front of him before he steps through the smoke with an intense look on his face. He goes from one side of the stage to the next, yelling out to the crowd and throwing up his arms. He then stops at the top of the ramp and throws his arm up into the air. He starts down the ramp, Xander’s gaze affixed on the ring.

Phillips: “And finally, fighting out of Fort Collins, Colorado… from Rochester, New York…the Paragon of Violence, the Executioner…. XANDER F’ING VALENTINE!”

Xander leaps up onto the apron in a single bound. Xander climbs up over the top rope and marches straight to the far side of the ring. He throws his arms up again, getting a massive pop. He goes to the opposite side and repeats to garner the same response. He hops down from the rope, and jogs into place, waiting for the bell.

Sharper: “Billy Heaven Jr. better be on his best behaviour. Xander is not one to cross!”

Knots: “And Xander could have his eyes on the World Title. Same for Amelia or Billy. Josh Hudson has a target on his back and you want to also win to move closer to a contract you can do anything with. And Xander knows how that feels to have that. He used his contract to get revenge against Adam Allocco and become World Champion two years ago!”

The lights go out. A few moments later, a white spotlight shines at the top of the ramp. In that spotlight we see a man wearing a robe that "Blake Mason Experience" embroidered in white. The lights to the rest of the arena come back on, the chorus to "The Night" by Disturbed echoes through the loud speaker. Blake Mason still has his back turned to the camera.  

Phillips: “Their opponents, first, from Boston, Massachusetts, he is Blake Mason!”

Blake heads to the ring at a methodical pace. Reaching the steel steps, he walks up them, on to the apron, steps into the ring. Blake steps onto the middle turnbuckle with his arms outstretched as if he's basking in his own glory. He takes off his robe; hops down. He immediately hits the ropes, then stops in the center of the ring. Drops down to his knees. Points up to the sky before he stands upright. He walks over to the nearest corner to rest comfortably.

Sharper: “If there is reason this team could not come together, it may be because of Blake Mason’s statement towards Josh Hudson. He knows he wants to become World Champion, but wants to, as he says, earn it.”

Knots: “And he made sure to put everyone on notice. Gunning for the one thing he’s always wanted and hasn’t yet gotten!”

The arena lights dim down and pink light shine on the stage. “Sweet but Psycho:” by Ava Max plays as The Queen of Queens and Goddess of Desire Katie Steward steps out on the stage. She walks her beautiful white and gold religious ring robe that is popelike and spins around in a circle showing it off the crowd. TJ Johnson walks out onto the stage with Katie and the two nod to on another before Katie continues her walk to the ring with her arms out and his hands at shoulder length.

Phillips: “His partners, first, accompanied by TJ Johnson, from Los Angeles, California, she is The Queen of Queens, the Goddess of Desire, Katie Steward!”

Katie walks around the ring and up the ring steps carefully and across the apron. TJ runs up after her and holds open the ropes for her to enter the ring. Katie walks to the center of the ring and she disrobes for the crowd. She shows off her wrestling attire. TJ takes her robe and exits the ring and Katie to her corner.

Sharper: “Katie Steward has won this tournament before and would love to again. One thing to think about though – Katie Steward, Amelia Blythe, Stewards beat Light in the Darkness to allow Katie to say she’s done it all. But then Light in the Darkness regained the titles at Rise to Greatness.”

Knots: “So some revenge? Maybe more. Katie pins Amelia…does that cause them to spiral? Who knows!”

"Duality” blares through the PA system.

"I push my fingers into my eyes..."

The cameras show the crowd who begin cheering before zooming in at the entrance way, where Josh Hudson steps out, holding the SCW World Championship.

"It's the only thing that slowly stops the ache
But it's made of all the things I have to take
Jesus, it never ends, it works it's way inside
If the pain goes on...I'm not gonna make it!"

He wears a sleeveless black hoodie as he slowly makes his way down the ramp. He reaches the bottom of the ramp, and he looks out to the crowd before making his way up the ring steps and climbs into the ring.

Phillips: “And finally, from New York City, New York, he is the SCW World Champion, Josh Hudson!”

"I have screamed until my veins collapsed
I've waited as my time's elapsed
Now, all I do is live with so much hate
I've wished for this, I've bitched at that
I've left behind this little fact
You cannot kill what you did not create

He goes to the bottom right-hand corner, climbing to the top rope.

Hudson is shown staring out at the crowd once again, as he lifts both fists into the air, earning more cheers before he climbs down and leans into the turnbuckle, waiting for the match to begin.

Sharper: “And there’s your World Champion. About to compete with a former World Champion, a top contender, and against him – One half of the Tag Champions, another former World Champion, and Billy Heaven Jr.”

Knots: “Hey! He’s got instragram followers!”

Sharper: “I’m sure. Nonetheless, one team could be more together than the other. Where will the egos come into play. That’s a key part of the Trios Tournament. Randomly drawn teams and egos all over. Can you manage them within your team?”

Hudson looks at Blake and Katie. Katie exits the ring as Blake and him lock eyes. Blake then smirks and exits. On the other side of the ring, Billy ushers Xander and Amelia out of the ring. Amelia looks at Xander as Xander shakes his head and exits. Billy then smiles before turning and seeing Josh.

Billy: “So you’re the champion….heh…”

Billy turns back to Xander and Amelia.

Billy: “Check this out!”

He turns and Josh just smacks him hard across the jaw. The crowd ohs and cheers as Billy falls over and holds his jaw. He then moves back and reaches up. Xander tags in. The crowd roars. Xander steps in as Josh Hudson looks at him. The crowd roars some more as Xander and Josh stand across from one another.

Sharper: “And just like that, Billy out. Xander in. Xander and Josh face to face.”

Knots: “We don’t know who is challenging Josh, but Xander…there’s a name!”

Xander and Josh then lock up in the middle of the ring. They push back on one another and Josh drops down and around Xander and into a waistlock. He then hoists Xander up. The crowd roars, but Xander elbows him. He drops down and elbows Hudson again. Xander turns around and knees Hudson in the stomach before then whipping him into the ropes. Hudson bounces off and Xander scoops him up, but Hudson lands behind Xander. He then grabs Xander and hits a Greco-Roman takedown. He spins through into a front face lock. Xander reaches around and Hudson pulls up and gets up to his feet. He then nails Xander with a couple of hard shots to the chest. Xander then hoists Hudson up and throws him back. Hudson lands on his feet and falls back into the corner. Xander steps up and swings, going for a haymaker. Hudson ducks and spins around and Xander turns as Hudson nails him with a couple of hard right hands to the jaw. Xander shoves him back. Hudson spins around and stops himself and runs at Xander. Xander grabs him by the throat and then turns and just throws him into the top rope and Hudson goes up and over to the floor. The crowd ohs. (1)

Sharper: “Xander muscling Josh Hudson up and over. Right in front of us.”

Knots: “And he’s getting back up and going in!”

Hudson slides in as Xander turns and Hudson goes for the legs of Xander. Xander falls back and Hudson moves through into a side mount. He hits a couple of shots on Xander before Xander pulls him over and Xander then leans on him and clubs at his face. Hudson bring his legs up and manages to then catch Xander’s arm. He tries to pull him back as the crowd roars. Xander rolls through and out of it. Hudson rolls back. Xander then steps up and Hudson catches him and hits an overhead belly to belly suplex. The crowd ohs. Xander rolls through, slowly getting up. Hudson then heads to him and grabs him, but Xander scoops him up and hits a spinning sidewalk slam. Xander rolls away and Billy then reaches in and tags himself in. Xander looks over as the crowd boos.

Sharper: “Xander fighting through the suplex. And Billy Heaven tagging back in.”

Knots: “Well, show what you can do then, kid!”

Billy gets up and turns to Xander.

Billy: “Don’t worry Xandy! I got this!”

Hudson starts to get up and Billy then runs over and nails him with a coup[le of hard right hands to the side of the head. Hudson falls to the corner. Billy then kicks him in the ribs and then claps his hands and nails him with a hard right before clapping again and doing it again and spinning around, almost dancing before pointing at Katie and winking before Hudson drills him with a hard clothesline. The crowd roars. Hudson turns and tags in Katie. Katie enters the ring and runs over and dropkicks Billy back down.

Knots: “Billy! Meet the Goddess of Desire!”

Sharper: “Just meet a dropkick from her!”

Katie then hits a breakdance leg drop and goes for the pin.

Billy kicks out. He then rolls over and moves to the ropes. He then holds his hand out as Katie turns and steps up and dropkicks him back. Billy staggers forward and then falls to a knee. He gets up and Katie then walks over and grabs him and pulls him in, but Billy then lifts her up and throws her forward with a flapjack. Billy falls back and tags in Amelia. The crowd cheers as Amelia enters. Katie gets up and Amelia runs over and grabs her and pulls her in and into a fisherman’s suplex into a pin.

Katie kicks out. She turns and moves to the neutral corner. Amelia follows up and hits a European uppercut. Katie snaps back. Amelia hits another European uppercut. She then grabs Katie and snapmares her out and Amelia runs into the ropes. She bounces off and hits a diving crossbody into a pin.

Katie kicks out. Katie rolls over and moves to the corner.

Sharper: “Amelia Blythe with some good offense.”

Knots: “Probably wants to prove herself like that. You always want to beat those who beat you in a big way. Even if you’ve moved on.”

Sharper: “There’s still the possibility of a rematch for Team Desire.”

Amelia follows up and Katie reaches up and rakes the eyes. She then spins Amelia around to the corner and then nails her with a forearm and then a chop. The crowd woos. Katie whips Amelia across and runs after and hits a running clothesline. Amelia staggers out and Katie grabs her and scoops slams her down. Katie climbs to the middle rope and then the top before hitting a praying moonsault. She lands on Amelia.

Amelia Blythe kicks out. Katie rolls over and gets up. She then turns and grabs Amelia and pulls her over to Josh and tags Josh in. Josh enters and Josh nails Amelia in the ribs before then hooking her up and hitting a back suplex. Hudson hooks the leg.

Amelia gets her shoulder up. She then rolls over and moves to the ropes. Hudson walks over and clubs her again and then again before going to whip her into the ropes. She bounces off and Blake knees her in the back. Amelia drops and Hudson steps up. Blake looks at her and then Josh. Josh asks him if he wants it and Blake extends his hand. Hudson tags him in.

Sharper: “Blake finally interjecting himself. Helping Hudson. Or I don’t know if Hudson wanted that help.”

Knots: “And Josh said, you want in, then fine.”

Sharper: “And in comes Blake Mason for his first taste of official SCW in-ring action since his return.”

Blake enters as Amelia gets up and Blake snapmares her over and then hits a dropkick to the back of her head. He goes for the pin.

Amelia kicks out. She reaches out as Mason grabs her. Billy extends his arm and Xander pulls it back and extends his, Billy slaps his away as Mason whips Amelia into the neutral corner. Mason runs after and hits a spinning forearm to the corner. He steps out and grabs Mason and hooks her up for a vertical suplex and drops her onto his knee. He then goes for the pin.

Billy breaks it up and rolls out of the ring and jumps up with his hands up. The crowd looks on as Blake looks at him, shaking his head. He gets up and Amelia and pulls her up, but Amelia suddenly hits a European uppercut. Blake staggers back. He recovers and Amelia nails him again. The crowd roars. Blake then steps up and grabs him, but Amelia hits a third one and then turns and tags in Xander. Billy hops on and looks around, pointing at himself as Xander steps in.

Sharper: “Amelia gets out! The tag in Xander!”

Knots: “Amelia knowing – you can’t let your ego of wanting to fight back. Get the biggest guy in there!”

Sharper: “And here comes Xander Valentine!”

Blake steps up and Xander drops him with a hard right. He turns as Katie enters and Xander boots her. Blake gets up and Xander clotheslines him down. Katie rolls out of the ring. Blake rolls over and gets up and turns and Xander knees him in the ribs and then whips him into the corner. Blake hits hard and staggers out and Xander hoists him up in a bearhug. He then holds him up and swings him around before dropping him with a bearhug slam. Xander gets up and hits an elbow drop. He then goes for the pin.

Hudson breaks it up. Hudson rolls out of the ring. Xander looks over and sees his and slowly gets up. He then turns and Blake stirs. Xander turns and runs into the ropes. He bounces off and catches Blake as Blake turns and catches him with a hard boot to the face. Xander then grabs him and scoops him up and hits a Snake eyes. Blake staggers back. Xander runs into the ropes, bouncing off and goes for a clothesline, but Blake ducks, catches him and hits a cobra clutch slam.

Sharper: “And Blake with the counter. Cobra-clutch slam.”

Knots: “Just stopped that raging executioner!”

Sharper: “And there’s the tag. In comes Katie Steward!”

Mason turns and tags in Katie. Katie then climbs up to the top rope. She dives off and hits a top rope elbow drop to Xander. She goes for the pin.

Xander pushes her off. He rolls over and slowly gets up and Katie looks at him and hits the Botox Injection. Xander staggers back and hits the ropes. He bounces off and Katie kicks him in the ribs and bends him over and double underhooks him. Xander however then counters with a back drop. Katie rolls over and gets up and Xander turns and catches her and hits a chokeslam. The crowd roars. Xander hooks the leg.

Mason dropkicks him in the head. Xander rolls through and starts to get up.

Sharper: “Mason with the save!”

Knots: “Katie was in trouble there. Just found out that Xander doesn’t care about her accomplishments!”

Sharper: “And Katie crawling over to Josh Hudson!”

Mason exits the ring as Katie crawls over, but just then, Billy Heaven runs over and grabs her and spins her around and pulls her in and hits a T-Bone suplex. Billy then gets up and poses. He then smirks as the official tells him to get out of the ring. He turns around and Hudson spins around him and grabs him and launches him with a release German suplex. The crowd ohs as Billy hits and rolls right out and through the ropes to the floor. Hudson then gets up and tell the official to calm as he turns and Xander boots him. The crowd ohs. Hudson rolls out of the ring. Xander steps around the ring and turns to Katie. Katie suddenly hits a superkick. Xander falls back and to the ropes. Katie then turns and runs at Xander. Xander gets a boot up. Xander then staggers over to his corner and Blythe tags herself in. She enters as Xander looks around and Katie bends over, holding her jaw, but then Blythe walks up behind her and locks in the Blythe Choke. The crowd roars. She pulls Katie back. The crowd roars some more.

Sharper: “Blight Choke! Blythe! Locking it in!”

Knots: “Katie didn’t even know she was tagged in!”

Blake rolls into the ring and Xander runs over and nails him with a hard right. Blake hits the mat and rolls over. Xander stomps at him. Katie starts to fade, the official checks on her. Her arms goes limp and the official checks on her before turning and calling for the bell. The crowd roars as the bell sounds.

Phillips: “Here are your winners, via submission, Amelia Blythe, Xander Valentine & Billy Heaven Jr!”

Billy holds his arm up and falls over as Blythe lets go and rolls over to her knees. She looks at Katie who rolls over. TJ rolls into the ring to check on her.

Sharper: “Blythe with the Blight Choke. And her team moves on! They move on to the quarterfinals to face Glory Braddock, YUYO and Gavin Taylor!”

Knots: “And it’s only going to get harder from here. But arguably one of the favourites – Josh Hudson, Blake Mason, Katie Steward…World Championship talent all eliminated!”

Blake turns and looks over as Josh Hudson turns to the ring. Blake glances at Josh and then Josh looks at him. Xander helps Blythe up as he nods to her. Blythe smiles as she looks around.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns to a live shot inside the arena where we cut to ringside to see Adam Sharper and Jonathan Knots at the announce position.

Sharper: “Welcome back to ringside – Trios Tournament 2024 ongoing here in Boise, Idaho.”

Knots: “Biggest event in Boise since…uh…buffalos were born?”

Sharper: “Stop it! It’s a huge night. Two teams already moving on. Glory Braddock, YUYO and Gavin Taylor and then Xander Valentine, Amelia Blythe and Billy Heaven Jr. We’ll see them compete later tonight in the semifinals.”

Knots: “Huge match with three former Trios winners too!”

Sharper: “Indeed. And we expect to still hear from Alex Desoubrais about who will challenge Josh Hudson for the World Championship at Apocalypse.”

Knots: “Do you have an idea? Maybe Xander?”

Sharper: “Maybe. We still don’t know what CHBK was talking to Xander about last week. That was after the Fall of Man interrupted CHBK but-“

Knots: “Look who it is again…”

Sharper: “Deanna Frost is coming down here. She wasn’t drawn for the Trios Tournament.”

Knots: “You know what she’d want.”

Sharper: “She claims she wants it…a match against The Enigma.”

Deanna Frost is shown walking down the rampway. The crowd cheers seeing her. She heads around the ring and walks around it. Fans try to high-five her, but she ignores them. She heads right to the announce position.

Knots: “She’s heading here.”

Sharper: “I’ve heard that CHBK has asked for Deanna to be given limited mic time, mainly because the investigation into Enigma is still ongoing.”

Deanna: “You can hear me right? Get the microphones as open as possible. No one will give me time backstage. And unless you’re going to mute this show, I want this out there.”

Sharper: “What do you want Deanna?”

Deanna stands in front of the announce table leaning over.

Deanna: “Enigma. I want Enigma. I know he’s suspended. I know that, but I’m not going to let him destroy more people’s lives by sniping from the shadows. He wants me, I’m right here. And I’ll put the title on the line too. US Champions. Free rematch! I’m not going to let him take down Jessica-“

Knots: “How’s that going to work? SCW won’t recognize it.”

Sharper: “He’s suspended.”

Deanna: “Make it unsanctioned then. Make it…”

Sharper: “They won’t let him in the building, Deanna. Not with the threat he poses…”

Deanna looks around, realizing that the veteran commentator is right. She then looks around and turns back.

Deanna: “Fine! I’ll find a place. I’ll arrange a location. I’ll send the address somehow to Enigma. I will fight him…not a wrestling match. Find him. Unsanctioned.”

Knots: “But the title-“

Deanna: “Damn it! If I can’t win this fight…if I can’t find some way to slow him down, to show he can’t operate without consequence, without dragging everyone down….I don’t deserve to hold the US Championship!”

Deanna turns and steps back as she notices officials coming out to stop her. Deanna just turns to them.

Deanna: “It’s done! It’s out there. He can choose to follow it or not. I don’t care!”

Deanna turns and heads around the ring as the camera turns to Sharper and Knots.

Knots: “Did she just challenge Enigma to an unsanctioned match off-site for the US Title at Apocalypse?”

Sharper: “She did.”

Knots: “Is she nuts?”

Sharper: “Or on a crusade and I hope…I hope she knows what she’s doing.”

Knots: “CHBK won’t actually agree to it.”

Sharper: “Will he have a choice?”

Deanna walks around the ring and over to the rampway. She then heads towards the back.

Scott Reed, Chris Lawler & La Pequena Luz vs. Konrad Raab, Waylon Creek & YUSA

Trios Tournament Quarterfinals Match

The opening strains of Fozzy's "Ugly" come across the PA and electric/punk/neon green spotlights roam around the stage for a bit before finding the entrance way. In the entrance way a figure stands ready to emerge when a cloud of deep emerald green fog rises up and obscures them. They come through the fog and shake their head even as they wave a hand to clear the fog away. Once that's done, they turn and start down the ramp. "Radiant Sun Princess" YUSA pauses a third of the way down and poses with her hands above her head making a circle to symbolize the sun. The crowd starts to cheer as she spreads her hands in time to the music and looks up as though watching the sun ascend to its usual place in the sky. When she looks forward again, she's smiling broadly and waves elegantly to the fans in attendance. For some reason, this gesture only makes them cheer her even more as she approaches the ring. YUSA pauses at the bottom of the ramp before running forward and doing a baseball slide under the bottom rope into the ring where lilypad green confetti sparkles and swirls down from the ceiling into the ring and the audience. Between her sliding into the ring and standing up, the smile fades from her face and she becomes all business.

Knots: “The Brilliant Sun Princess has arrived on the scene to some immediate success.”

Sharper: “The Shining Maidens as a unit have proven to be more than capable. YUSA has only augmented that.”

The sound and image of a babbling brook overtake the PA and screen. Shortly after, a man dressed in a suit flickers onto the screen, standing in the middle of the creek, facing away from the camera. “Mountain Banjo” by Rhiannon Giddens comes over the system, and from hehind curtain emerges a muscular figure in a skull mask, adorned by torn up flannels, being led by a black lab

on a leash. The dog leads the way as Waylon Creek follows close behind, looking around the arena. William Heaven walks out by his side, smiling at the crowd and giving some last minute instructions to Creek. He hands the leash off to Heave when he gets to the ring and appears to say something to the dog. The dog sits calmly as Creek enters the ring up the steps. He calmly goes to his corner without any posing.

Knots: “Well that’s new. William Heaven not only joining Waylon Creek, but taking his dog, Legion, as well.”

Feuer Frei by Rammstein plays over the sound system as Konrad comes out through the curtain with his flanged German mace with him, acting erratic with an angry look on his face, rising the flanged German mace in the air, wearing red and black skull face paint on the right side of his face with a red and black suit hoodie over his head he wears with pieces of flame blood designed all over them. He also has a penguin, walrus and a polar bear stitching on the left-hand side of his chest on his gear, stating Stop Climate Change. He also wears black boots along with Red and Black Gloves on his hands. Ginny Raab walks out behind him. Raab crouches down on the floor with the flanged German mace in front of him, looking at the ring with evil intentions.

Phillips: “From Cologne, Germany, accompanied by Ginny Raab, he is Burned in Blood, Konrad Raab!”

After the announcement, Konrad picks up his flanged German mace and slowly walks to the ring with a massive amount of boos. Konrad runs up the steps and goes underneath the ropes, while Ginny walks up the stairs and gets in the ring with Konrad. As he's in the ring, Konrad, without showing any sign of acknowledgement from the fans, lays the flanged German mace on the turnbuckle, then sits in the corner of the ring with the crowd booing him, having a nasty look in his eyes, flicking his fists as if he's already ready to fight, with Ginny taking Konrad's flanged German mace away, waiting for the match to start as he takes his hoodie off from his head as Ginny leaves the ring and goes backstage.

Knots: “Konrad Raab vowing this week to be a team player. We’ll see how long that lasts.”

Sharper: “His loyalty is divided between the ring, the Nation, and the race track. I can’t imagine Creek nor YUSA will find any joy there.”

The arena goes dark and a voice can be heard saying ”And the story goes…a young man will come…to save the universe from the forces of evil…

The voice dies down for a few moments before “I Will” by Eminem featuring KXNG Crooked, Royce da 5'9" & Joell Ortiz kicks in.

“And I don't think that I can stop it, here it comes…I do my best to try to block it, redrum…I've been sipping on like, vodka, head's numb...I'm blacking out, you better watch it, it's bedlam…”

The lights come back on and Scott Reed steps out from the entrance way, the crowd erupting in cheers.

“I thought I heard a voice in my head that said, "Kill"
I had no other choice that was left except fill
My pencil full of poisonous lead, the devil
He wants me to murder this beat, so I will”

Reed makes his way down the ramp, slapping hands with fans along the way. He reaches the ring and goes up the ring steps. Going across the apron, he looks out at the crowd once again as they continue to cheer. Climbing into the ring, Reed goes to the center.

Phillips: “Introducing, weighing in at two-hundred and twenty pounds, hailing from New York City, New York…he is…Scott! Reed!”

“He told me there are doubters who question my skill
They wanna put my style to the test, am I still
The best? They want the crown on my head, I said, "Chill
If you want me to murder this beat, then I will"

Reed climbs up to the top rope and points to the center of his chest, mouthing the words, ‘I will’ as the music dies down. Hopping down from the turnbuckle, he leans into the corner, waiting for the match to begin.

Knots: “Scott Reed finally vanquishing The One last week inside the cage and his stock could be on the rise.”

Sharper: “He’s always had the talent, it’s just a matter of putting it altogether. The time could be now.”

The dimmed lights cast an atmosphere of anticipation as the arena falls into darkness, the only illumination coming from the pulsating strobe lights. The crowd's murmurs fade into a hush as the opening chords of "Warrior" by Imagine Dragons reverberate through the speakers, electrifying the air with anticipation.

From the depths of the darkness, a figure emerges, his silhouette outlined against the backdrop of flashing lights. With each step, the floor trembles beneath his feet, echoing the determination that propels him forward. It's Chris Lawler, a titan among men, his presence commanding attention as he strides purposefully down the entrance ramp.

His eyes, a piercing shade of blue, remain fixed on the ring ahead, unwavering in their focus as if they could pierce through the very fabric of reality. Ignoring the cacophony of cheers and jeers that surround him, Lawler remains resolute in his mission, his gaze locked on the squared circle where his destiny awaits.

As Lawler reaches the foot of the ring, the strobe lights reach a crescendo, bathing him in a pulsating glow of light and shadow. With a subtle nod to the crowd, Lawler ascends the steel steps, each footfall a testament to his unwavering determination.

Finally, he steps between the ropes, his presence filling the ring with an aura of intensity and purpose. Standing tall in the center of the ring, Lawler raises his gaze to the heavens, a silent vow etched upon his features. Lawler turns and stares at Creek, who barely pays him any attention. Heaven smirks at Chris and jaws at him.

Knots: “Did you see that little look by Lawler?!”

Sharper: “There’s history there. I would not be surprised to see this get down to business quickly.”

“Believe In Tomorrow” by Sunflower’s Garden begins to play as bright white lights begin flickering on and off on the stage in rhythm with the music. La Pequeña Luz skips out onto the stage with the kind of smile that could light up an entire room all on its own plastered to her face, dancing a bit to her theme song and waving her arms in an attempt to get the crowd pumped up, drawing cheers. She plays to the crowd a bit, skipping to the ring. Once she gets to the apron, she becomes all business, taking a deep breath, and jumping up onto the apron. She goes over to her team after looking across the ring.

Knots: “Luz out here with no Amelia tonight, looks like she’s going at this on her own.”

Sharper: “Both Amelia Blythe and La Pequeña Luz extremely talented tag team wrestlers. Now we’ll see what they’re made of as singles competitors.”

The bell sounds as Lawler steps forth for his team. Raab and Creek both step forth. A brief argument ensues between the two. It becomes more heated after a brief second. Waylon insists that he starts it. The referee separates the two of them and forces a furious Raab out of the ring. Chris calls for Waylon for a test of strength. Creek reluctantly takes it on. They lock up briefly, Waylon getting the upper hand. Recognizing this, Lawler uses his body weight to shift and slips underneath, wrenching Waylon’s right arm behind his back. He goes into a hammerlock. Chris avoids a back elbow attempt and comes up underneath, hoisting Waylon up and driving him into the corner. They hit hard, Lawler holds onto the right hand and begins to work over the fingers with Waylon on the ground. Lawler lets him come to his feet and attempts to reenter a hammerlock, but Waylon slips out this time, comes from behind, and hits a belly to back suplex. Lawler rolls off. Waylon immediately into the offensive position with a left handed choke.

Waylon lets go. He sends Lawler for a ride and shoulder blocks him down when he comes back off the ropes. He goes for a standing knee drop but Lawler rolls out of the way. Raab tags himself in. Waylon’s body language tells the story as Raab steps between the ropes. Waylon leaves after a brief stare down. Raab and Lawler immediately exchange punches. Lawler briefly gets the upper hand and stomps Raab’s abdomen, throwing a stiff elbow into his head. Lawler backs Raab into the corner now, tags in Scott Reed. Lawler hurls Raab into the rope. He leapfrogs a ducking Lawler and is drop kicked to the mat by Reed! He makes a cover!

Kick out by Raab.

Knots: “Problems already between Lawler and Creek, followed by Creek and Raab.”

Sharper: “Raab does not play well with others. We’ll see how it progresses but I have my doubts.”

Reed brings Konrad to his feet and sends him into the far corner. Reed with a splash into the corner. Raab comes out of it doubled over. Reed grabs for him and looks for a standing shiranui but Raab tosses him off. Reed lands on his feet. Raab comes back with a clothesline attempt. Reed tumbles out of the way and comes back looking for a Superman punch, but catches a stiff right from Raab. Reed hits the mat. Raab grabs Reed and pulls him into the corner. He teases tagging in Creek, but tags in YUSA. Creek shares a word with YUSA who just shakes him off. YUSA Propels herself over the top rope and hits Reed with a leg drop. She leaves her leg over Reed for the cover.

Reed kicks out. She rolls off and forward. She waits for Reed to get up and bounds off the ropes in a springboard backhand, diving off with an elbow that hits Reed. Reed rolls to the corner and tries to get himself to his feet. YUSA with a series of kicks now to Reed’s base, chopping him down. She does another hand spring backflip and comes charging with a knee, but Scott rolls over the top of her leg into a schoolboy roll-up.

YUSA shoots out with her legs, bring Reed in close with a tight arm bar! Scott yells out in pain, but is able to get himself to his feet. He guards his arm and launches YUSA into the air. She athletically lands on her feet. Scott gives her a nod of approval before resetting himself.

Knots: “Great little exchange there between YUSA and Scott.”

Sharper: “But did you see that little jawing between Creek and YUSA? That team has some problems, YUSA of course owning an opportunity to take the Underground Title from fellow Fall Of Man member Leroy Adams.”

Scott looks to his corner , a determined Luz desperate for a tag. After taking a moment to listen to the demand, Scott shrugs and tags her in. Luz leaps in over the top rope and ducks a side kick from YUSA. She catches the leg and chops the chest of her opponent. She lets go of the leg, jumping up with an enziguiri of her own. YUSA hits the ground. Luz with a standing moonsauly attempt. YUSA avoids, but Luz lands on her feet, then brings herself forward in a standing shooting star press that connects! Cover!

YUSA kicks out, holding her jaw. Luz comes off the ropes as YUSA rises, the Shining Maiden catching her but finding herself launched into a tiltawhirk head scissors! YUSA flies across the ring and catches herself on the second rope, giving her opponent a nod. While she’s pulling herself up, Waylon tags himself in. YUSA does not look happy.
Creek steps into the ring and immediately goes for Luz with an attempt to lock up, but Luz avoids it by coming off the ropes, jumping into Waylon with two knees that send him into the ropes. She charges him, but he back body drops her over the top. She lands in the apron. Creek, realizing this, attempts to grab her, but she kicks at his hands, sending him away, holding his right hand. She pulls herself over, bounds off the top rope, and lands perfectly on Creek’s shoulders, rolling him into a beautifully executed Hurricanrana!

Creek kicks out! Luz goes halfway across the ring with the force of the kick out and swings herself athletically between the seconds and third ropes. She comes back around and ducks a clothesline from Creek, followed by a Pele kick that staggers him, followed by an immediate dropkick to the knee. Creek is down on the mat. Luz to the second rope now. She jumps off looking for a Tornado DDT, but Creek catches her and lowers her to the mat before releasing her in a Northern Lights Bomb that sends her into the middle of the ring. Creek immediately on the offensive, dragging a stunned Luz to her feet before locking her in a pump handle slam and delivering a flat liner across the top rope. The crowd oh’s as Waylon makes the cover.

Shoulder up by Luz, who rolls away.

Knots: “Luz was really working Waylon over there and showing what she can do as a singles wrestler.”

Sharper: “The talent there is not in dispute, but watch as Creek continues to learn throughout this match. He didn’t let Lawler have that right hand again and he adapted accordingly to Luz’s offense.”

Creek with a sharp scoop slap followed by a stiff leg drop. He makes another cover

Luz is out at 2. Creek with a stomp now, grabbing Luz in a chin lock. He drags her over to the corner and tags in Raab. Raab steps into the ring and gives Luz a chop. They mug her in the corner. Raab pushes Creek off and chokes Luz on the ground. Raab grabs Luz and hits her with a sharp belly to belly suplex. Luz hits the mat as Raab continues to jabber at Creek, who is receiving thumbs up from Heaven. Raab gets down and delivers some sharp blows to Luz, still barking at Creek. He lifts Luz up and hits her with an elbow, forearm to the side of the head, followed by a sidewalk slam. He turns to continue yelling at Creek. Creek finally pays attention, making eye contact with Raab. Raab turns his attention away from Luz and the two of them are going at it now in the corner. Luz scurries across the ring and tags in Lawler. YUSA, frustrated with her partners, tags herself in and gets into the ring. Raab looks incensed. As Lawler gets into the ring he’s launched into the corner with a vicious front dropkick that launches him into the corner and onto the mat.YUSA immediately hooks Lawler’s head in between her legs and hits him with the Rising Sun! She uses her legs to turn Lawler over.

Thr- lockout by Lawler. YUSA goes to the top rope as Lawler stirs now, jumping off in an attempt at a crossbody, but Lawler catches her, presses her overhead, and nails her with the Fury Suplex! Cover!

Creek breaks it up with a stomp on Lawler. He doesn’t stop there. He pushes Lawler back into the corner and throws a knuckle thrust into Lawler’s throat. Then, he locks the Canary on Lawler in the corner! The ref hurriedly breaks it up. Lawler clutches his throat, Scott tags himself in. The ref forces Creek out of the ring. YUSA on the mat now. Scott picks her up in reverse DDT position. YUSA kicks above her head and plants on Scott. She runs and tries to get Scott with a tiltawhirl head scissors to match Luz’s, but when she comes around, Scott catches her in the reverse DDT position again and plants her with Buck The Corrupt! He covers!

NO! Raab breaks it up before YUSA can kick out. Raab then gets down and starts hammering away at Scott. Luz into the ring now. Springboard cross body block onto Konrad. Creek into the ring, pulling off Luz, grabbing her around the neck and launching her back over the top rope and onto the floor with a thud. YUSA recovers in the corner. Konrad hurriedly grabs her by the arm against her squirming objections and tags himself in. Lawler into the ring now to get in Creek’s face. He drills Creek with a right hand that barely staggers him. He then goes for the right hand to manipulate it, but Creek pulls away and drives his head into Lawler’s chest.

Knots: “This is becoming a break down on Breakdown! Everybody’s involved now!”

Sharper: “The referee better get control of this one and how, or else he’s gonna lose it altogether!”

Konrad in and begins to work over Scott. Creek continues to work on Lawler, grabbing him by the head and slamming it into the mat repeatedly. Raab pushes Scott into his own corner. Luz with a bling tag that Raab doesn’t see. The referee acknowledges the exchange. She waits. Scott battles his way out of the corner, but wrestles right into a rear waist lock from Creek, who grabs his hand and levels him with a ripcord lariat. The crowd oh’s, but Luz comes off the top rope out of nowhere with a moonsault that nails a standing Creek. He rolls over his back into the corner. Scott Reed with a vicious jumping knee into Creek that has him reeling, and finally, Lawler clotheslines Creek over the top rope! Reed sends YUSA over the top. Then, he scales the top rope and launches himself onto Creek with a high cross body. Inside the ring, Raab boots Luz looking for the Burn-Blooded Killer Move. Luz slips out, drilling Raab with the Lights Out! Luz immediately goes to the top rope. The crowd roars as Luz launches herself off in a corkscrew shooting star press!

Knots: “They took Creek out!”

Sharper: “And now Luz has Konrad on Dream Street!”

The bell sounds as the crowd roars its approval. Reed rolls back into the ring as Luz gets to her knees, holding the back of her head and breathing heavy. The referee raises her hand.

Phillips: “Here are your winners and advancing to the next round of the tournament, the team of La Pequeña Luz, Scott Reed, and Chris Lawler!”

Heaven kneels down by Creek outside the ring. YUSA gives him a sharp look before heading to the back. Raab is rolling himself out of the ring. Ginny comes back out to help him out.

Knots: “La Pequeña Luz really showing out here tonight, Sharper.”

Sharper: “Great contest, but at the end of the day, the problems between Raab and Creek were too much.”

The scene cuts away.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as we find ourselves outside, panning around the ExtraMile Arena and taking in some of the scenery of Boise, Idaho.

Sharper: “Welcome back to Breakdown, ladies and gentlemen. Already an exciting night of action so far with the Trios Tournament here tonight in Boise.”

Knots: “And things are only heating up with more tournament action on the way!”

We continue panning along the arena, leaving you waiting for when we cut back inside to whatever's next, but for some reason we continue to linger outside. Soon enough, the camera begins panning to someone standing outside the arena, perched on what looks like a soapbox. The man looks somewhat disheveled, dressed in a black leather vest, black combat boots and black cargo pants that look like they have a ton of patches sewn onto them, each one depicting some sort of social media brand, notable tech company or major media outlet with a circle-backslash symbol over it. The man just sneers at the camera as he realizes it's finally focused on him.

???: “Are you all having fun tonight?”

We hear a roar from the fans to acknowledge that they are, but this man doesn't seem to hear them.

???: “I can imagine how excited each and every one of you watching this must be right now. Probably makes you want to hop on social media, posting pics of yourself or tweeting about how much fun you're having. After all, how could you possibly enjoy the wonders of a show from one of the greatest wrestling companies in the world without gloating about it to your hundreds or thousands of followers online who just hang off your every word, right? It's easier than you think...and it starts with putting down the damn phone and actually watching the action unfolding before you.”

The man turns his head and spits in disgust.

???: “This is what disgusts me about what the human race has come to. Things like wrestling don't matter to you anymore, nothing does. It's not about the experience, it's about what you can do to get it trending, convincing the mindless masses to agree with your opinion on what you're talking about instead of forming one of their own. It's about schilling yourself like a product so others can buy into all the false hype. And the worst part? SCW wrestlers aren't any better. It doesn't matter if they're some delusional snow princess, a man who welcomes the 'wild west' into the main event scene, a so-called queen of chaos, a bunch of wannabe magical girls, and I could keep going on and on until I run down the whole roster. Each and every one of them are just as much a part of the problem, sharing their opinions online for you all to salivate over, making you feel like you're so special just because they maybe were nice enough to answer some silly question of yours on a whim from the comfort of their screen of choice. The wrestlers, the fans...you're all slaves to the social media machine, you're all destroying yourselves and convincing others to follow you into the grave, and I'm not going to stand for it!”

The man angrily hops off his soapbox, whipping his hair back as he looks absolutely furious.

Grant: “Allow me to properly introduce myself to all of you and every single social zombie mindlessly following you when you inevitably try to call me a hack online. The name's Dexter Grant, and I've come to SCW to do what I can to save each and every one of you from yourselves. This company is regarded as a pinnacle of the wrestling world...but it's also a hotbed of online overdosing, and that gives me the platform I need to take the stand no one else will and say 'this needs to end.' There's at least 62.3% of the global population glued to their screens, trying to inflate their egos through the art of 'influencing' or doomscrolling their minds into oblivion until they can't think for themselves, only believing in what someone else tells them to. How long until this leads to someone in this company taking advantage of that, forming a cult of personality that leads to some devastating tragedy that they'll get away scot free with because they 'can't help what other people do with what they say'?”

Dexter huffs, starting to pace back and forth now.

Grant: “SCW doesn't need any more people dressing up like a fairy tale princess because Selena Frost or YUYO make the look trend, it doesn't need people getting hurt because they share clips of people like Kim Williams, James Evans, Konrad Raab, Leroy Adams and so many others maiming one another and they think it's fun to copy that as the next big TikTok challenge. Hell, this company had a problem at its supposed biggest show where a couple of clowns showed up and tried to get free seats all because they thought they would get the superstar treatment for being 'influencers' as if that means anything. And this is just the tip of the iceberg people, because it gets so much worse. But I know you probably won't care. How dare I stand out here and waste your valuable airtime trying to spread my message and save you all from yourselves, right?”

Dexter stops pacing, leaning in close to the camera.

Grant: “Trust me when I say that each and every one of you needs to be saved, and I'm going to be the one to do it. I don't care what social media has convinced you fans or anyone on the SCW roster to tell me in response to my words here tonight, because actions speak louder than words...something all of you have forgotten about. Next week, live on Breakdown, your digital detoxing begins. I'm going to make my SCW debut, and whoever they decide is the trending darling to send to the slaughter will be the message that makes you all understand my mission. If any of this has gotten through to any of you watching, know that you can still be saved. All you have to do is put down the phone, step away from the computer or TV screen for more than five seconds, and heed this simple truth.”

Dexter holds up three fingers, putting one down with each word he says next.

Grant: “Disconnect...to reconnect.”

Dexter glares into the camera for a few more moments before it cuts back to Adam Sharper and Jonathan Knots sitting at the announce table, looking surprised and a little unnerved by what they just saw.

Selena Frost, Polly Pingotti & Andrew Raynes vs. Kimberly Williams, David Striker & Sean Michael Prime

Trios Tournament Quarterfinals Match

The lights go out, except for a single spotlight at the top of the stage. The opening chords to “Patient Number 9” by Ozzy Osbourne begins to play.  A haunting voice is heard…

"Is there a way out of here?"
"Hey, how long you been here?"
"I wanna go home"
"Hey, hahaha"
"Hahaha"
"Excuse me, could you tell how to get out of here?"
"Hahaha"
"I want to go home"
"Hahaha"
"Mommy, mommy"

The song begins to rage full bore now.  Suddenly the lights come back on and Kimberly Williams is standing at the top of the stage to a loud, mostly positive, reaction from the fans.  A sinister smirk is on her face as she ponders what she is about to do tonight. 

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a thirty minute time limit and is a quarterfinals match in the 2024 Trios Tournament. For the first team, first, from Boston, Massachusetts, she is the Wild Card, Kimberly Williams!”

She winks at the fans before pointing towards the ring and making a beeline towards it.  She slides into the ring underneath the bottom rope.  Kimberly then poses in the center of the ring to another loud reaction from the fans.  The music slowly dies down and Kimberly goes to a corner to await the start of the match.

Sharper: “Kimberly Williams about to join us. Her team is an interesting one. I think they could be the dark horse of the field and that’s in part because of who she is teamed with. David Striker – they know each other well.”

Knots: “And they pushed each other. And after the last few weeks, Kim needs an outlet and Striker may be the man to help her!”

As the arena lights dim, a hushed anticipation falls over the crowd. The haunting notes of Metallica's "Turn the Page" resonate through the speakers, setting the stage for the arrival of Sean Michael Prime. Slowly emerging from the shadows. Sean stands at the top of the ramp with a determined gaze. He walks with purpose down the entrance ramp, his worn silhouette illuminated by a lone spotlight.

Phillips: “Now, her partners, first, making his way to the ring, from Salem, Massachusetts, Sean Michael Prime!”

With every step, SMP absorbs the energy of the arena, his long hair flowing in rhythm with the haunting melody. As the chorus kicks in, the crowd begins to stir, caught between the raw emotion of the song and the enigmatic presence of Sean as he slowly approaches the ring. Sean climbs into the ring, casting a stoic gaze across the audience. The metallic strains of "Turn the Page" amplify the intensity of the moment. Sean starts pacing around the ring awaiting for the start of the match

Sharper: “Sean Michael Prime back to full-time competition. Can he finally get his win? This may be his best way to get off the snide as Kim and David will be with him and motivated.”

Knots: “Or are they going to blame him if he comes up short? He needs to realize he can’t be desperate like he was showing before Taking Hold of the Flame. Stakes are too high!”

“Man in the Box” by Like a Storm plays and the crowd roars. A few moments pass before David Striker walks out from the back and scans the arena. He then nods a bit as he turns to the ring and looks at his opponent. He then starts to head to the ring.

Phillips: “And finally, their partner, from Cameron, North Carolina, he is Bam Bam David Striker!”

The crowd roars as Striker heads to the ring and slides into the ring. He gets up to a knee and looks around before getting up to his feet. He then turns and runs into the ropes, before sticking his upper body under and out from the top rope, getting a louder reaction.

Sharper:” And David Striker, showed last week his willingness to do anything. It’s gotten him some flak from the fans of the Shining Maidens. He doesn’t seem to care. He’s focused now on trying to get a elusive Trios Contract.”

Knots: “And teaming with Kim. Let’s go. I want to see what he’ll pull out here. The man doesn’t do half measures!”

A coin can be heard dropping into a coin slot.  A few seconds pass, which is when an open field is shown up on the SCW tron.  A flock of birds rise up from the tall grass and fly away as the sound of a piano can be heard playing, leading into the opening of "Bird Set Free" by Sia.  The moment the opening words are heard, Polly steps out from the back and stands at the forefront on the stage.  She looks up at the tron to see one straggling bird rise up from the grass all by its lonesome. Polly admires the one small bird that begins to fly away now too until Sia reaches the chorus, which is when she turns around as a pair of pyros goes off on each side of the entranceway.  The nearest camera catches her piercing bright green eyes as she begins to walk down the ramp and down to the ring.

Phillips: “Their opponents, first, making her way to the ring, from Panguitch, Utah, Polly Pingotti!”

Polly does smile but only briefly as she turns her attention to the task at hand.  She can hear the usual mix of cheers and boos, leaning more towards cheers than boos.  She gives one full look around the arena before she slides into the ring under the bottom rope.  Once inside the ring she stands right up, closes her eyes, and presents a flying motion.  She opens her eyes back up and light on her feet chooses a corner of the ring to wait in.  With her arms now back at her sides, her focus builds on the fight that she is about to go through.

Sharper: “Polly Pingotti with a big win last week against La Pequena Luz. Can she build on it? But at the same time, her partners could be an issue. Andrew Raynes – he’s back after years away. But Polly and Selena Frost don’t get along.”

Knots: “But there’s one thing Polly should count on. Selena will do anything to get that second contract to give her security. That alone may be the wild card. To get through everything else!”

The arena goes dark and strobe lights pulse through the arena as "Through Struggle" hits the speakers. The crowd erupts into raucous boos as the lights dim around the entrance ramp, smoke begins to rise. After the intro kicks in, the lights start flashing as the smoke gets thicker, after a few moments we see Andrew Raynes appear through the smoke, his head shifted towards the ring, focused, a cold stare. He stands there for a few seconds still looking around, devoid of the fans.  He starts walking slowly with a cold stare in his eyes. 

Phillips: “Her partners, first, from Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, he is Andrew Raynes!”

As he continues to look focused, he makes his way down the ramp, ignoring the fans. He walks down towards the ring where he slides in under the bottom rope. He pops up in the middle of the ring and looks around. He looks over at his opponent with a cold stare, sizing them up before the match even starts. 

Sharper: “Andrew Raynes has been quite quiet since stunningly returning at Rise to Greatness, helping Amy Chastaine defeat Simon Lyman.”

Knots: “Why help Amy? I thought he hated her!”

Sharper: “I did too. But now, he comes to the ring. Amy Chastaine is here, so you wonder if that may be something to watch backstage. But Andrew Raynes could tonight, quickly remind everyone why he was someone to watch several years ago before he left SCW.”

Knots: “Former Adrenaline Champion. Tag Champion.”

BELIEVE IT... OR NOT!

"Thank You for Hating Me!" by Citizen Soldier plays throughout the arena, the SCW Universe deafening the song with their boos. The lights shift to dark purple and blue, filling the arena as snow is seen “falling” along the electronic floor and screens as, out from the back, walks the Snow Queen, Selena Frost, taking in the crowd of the SCW Universe with a smirk.

Phillips: “And finally, their partner, from Nome, Alaska, by way of Manhattan, New York, she is the Snow Queen, Selena Frost!”

Slowly, Selena shifts her head, her sapphire eyes locked towards the ring as she turns to her side and lifts her front hand gracefully, extending it towards the ring, palm upward. With a lift of her front foot, she suddenly slams it down into the ground, causing a crack like ice to form and sprint down the ramp and towards the ring!

Lowering her arm, the Blue-Eyed Devil walks down the ramp, her steps leaving footprints in the “snow” under her feet. Reaching the ring, Selena goes up the steps and under the ropes to enter it. Once inside and in the center of the ring, she stands still, confident and powerful, as the lights form to make a massive blue and black snowflake under her and the purple and blue lights. Raising her hand back up, towards the audience, once again palm upright, a wicked smirk graces her lips. With a slam of her foot, Selena causes the snowflake at her feet to “crack” as the rampway did, the shards of ice streaking out to all four corners of the ring to shoot out purple streaks of light from the turnbuckle the lights return to normal.

Sharper: “And there’s your former World Champion-“

Knots: “Last one out for the quarterfinals too. Think that was intentional?”

Sharper: “I’m sure. If her teams move on, her team will close the show tonight in the semifinals. Reminder – Quarterfinals and semifinals tonight. Finals next week on Breakdown. And then on September 29, Apocalypse, live on pay per view. A lot of SCW action coming up in the coming weeks. High stakes every week.”

The bell sounds. Kim and David start to talk as SMP points to him and stands back. David tells him to get out as David turns. Kim exits. On the other side of the ring, Selena Frost exits the ring. Polly and Andrew talk only for Raynes to invite Polly to go first. Raynes exits as Polly and David look at on another. They step up and David goes for a spinning back fist, but Polly ducks and runs into the ropes. She bounces off and David goes for a back elbow. Polly handsprings into the ropes and then jumps up with a crossbody, and takes David down.

David kicks out. Both get up and Polly forearms David a couple of times, sending him into the ropes. She goes to fire David off, but David spins through and sends her in. Polly bounces off and David hits a back elbow and then hits a Viva La Bam and goes for a quick pin.

Polly kicks out and rolls over to the neutral corner.

Sharper: “And a quick start here. Polly almost caught as Striker hit that falling headbutt, but only two.”

Knots: “And David knows he almost caught her offguard.”

Polly gets up as David tells her to come at him. Polly smirks and then turns and runs at him and spins around him. She goes for a school boy, but Striker rolls through and turns and hits a single leg takedown. He flips over into a jackknife pin, but Polly slides out of the way. Striker rolls over and gets up and Polly forearms him in the jaw. Striker hits a Shotei and Polly stumbles back to the ropes. Striker then runs at Polly and Polly gets a boot up and staggers over only for immediately Raynes to tag himself in. He enters as Polly looks at him and Raynes runs over and kicks Striker in the ribs. He then scoops him up and slams him down. Striker turns and Raynes kicks him again. He falls back to the ropes and Raynes stomps him in the chest over and over as Striker leans against the ropes. Raynes uses the ropes for added leverage.

Raynes steps away and walks around the ring. Striker winces and slowly gets up and Raynes grabs him and pulls him up and hits a mat slam. He goes for the pin.

Striker kicks out. He rolls over and starts to get up and Raynes grabs him, but Striker nails him in the stomach and then hits an uppercut. Raynes around as Striker tags in Kim. Kim slingshots into the ring and runs at Raynes and clotheslines him down.

Sharper: “Raynes introduced to Kimberly Williams. Hard clothesline as Striker turns to her.”

Knots: “SMP probably is happy to just watch.”

Sharper: “I don’t know about that. The man is a fighter.”

Knots: “So are the people across the ring!”

Raynes turns and gets up and Kim dropkicks him down. He rolls over and to the corner. Kim follows up and kicks him in the ribs before pulling him up and chopping him. The crowd woos. She chops him again. More woos. She then goes to whip him across, but Raynes spins through and goes to whip her across only to then pull her back into his knee. Kim flips over and turns and Andrew Raynes then quickly hits the Syndicate. Kim rolls over. Raynes goes for the pin.

Kim kicks out. Raynes turns and reaches over and tags in Selena. Selena enters to massive boos. Kim gets up and Selena hits her with a shoot kick, knocking her back. Kim ends up in the corner and Selena looks at her and hits her with another shoot kick and then another.

Sharper: “Selena in and I think if there’s anyone Selena hates most in this tournament, it may be Kim.”

Knots: “Probably relishes that she can eliminate her in the first round in successful. Kimberly Williams’ trios cash-in led to Selena acting like she did today!”

Selena hits another couple of kicks. Kim just smirks, urging her to keep throwing them at her.

Selena backs up and walks around the ring. She then heads to Kim and grabs her and whips her across the ring. Selena runs after and Kim just lets her as Selena hits a running clothesline. Kim stumbles down and to a knee. She gets up and Selena hits a Cold Snapmare before going for the pin.

Kim kicks out. Selena turns and grabs Kim and pulls her up and forearms her in the jaw. Kim stumbles back. Selena hits her again. She then goes to whip Kim into the ropes, but Kim spins through and sends Selena in. Selena bounces off and Kim hits the Morrigan’s Wrath. Selena hits the mat, holding her jaw. Kim laughs and turns to her.

Kim: “My Turn!”

Sharper: “Kim just took Selena’s head off!”

Knots: “And she’s thinking of doing more!”

Kim then looks at Selena as Selena looks up and then starts to stomp away furiously at Selena. The crowd roars as Kim goes to town, stomping her rapidly.

Kim stops and runs to the ropes, hitting the middle rope and hitting a lionsault. She hooks the leg.

Selena kicks out. Both get up and Kim nails Selena with a hard right and then a kick to the ribs before whipping her across the ring. Selena bounces off and Kim hits a discus elbow, knocking her down. She goes for the pin again.

Selena kicks out. Both get up and Kim grabs her, but Selena wrenches her arm and hits the Paydirt. The crowd ohs as Kim holds her jaw. She starts to get up and Selena moves back to the corner. Kim runs at her, but Selena gets a boot up. Polly then tags herself in and she springboards to the top rope and hits a crossbody into a pin.

Kim kicks out. She turns and Polly grabs her and hits a school boy.

Kim kicks out again. Polly jumps up and goes for a hurricanrana, but Kim holds on and counters into an Angel’s Arch!

Sharper: “Shades of her mother! Angel’s Arch! Kim! She’s as good a technical wrestler as any. No matter the outer exterior!”

Knots: “She can tie you up and beat you with a wrench!”

Polly yells out as Kim keeps the hold on. She leans back and Polly reaches out, reaching for the ropes, but Selena enters and runs over and nails Kim in the back of the head. The crowd boos as Kim lets go and falls over. Selena backs up and exits. Andrew smirks. Kim turns and moves to the corner as David Striker tags himself back in. Striker enters and Polly gets up and Striker nails her in the ribs once and then again before whipping her across the ring. Polly bounces off and Striker grabs her arm, wrenches it and pulls her into the Hard Justice. He bridges up.

Polly kicks out. She rolls over and Striker grabs her and pulls her up. He then goes for a back suplex, but Polly backflips through and lands on her feet before hitting a rolling clutch pin.

Striker kicks out. Polly falls forward and rolls to the corner where Selena tags herself in. Selena enters and David Striker gets up only to walk into a spinning heel kick. Selena goes for the pin.

Sharper: “Frost with the timing there. The spinning heel kick, right to the butt of the jaw!”

Striker kicks out. Selena rolls off and gets up and grabs Striker and clubs him in the back once and then again before grabbing his head and running up the neutral corner and hitting a tornado DDT. Striker rolls to his back. Selena goes for the pin.

Striker shoots her shoulder up. Striker then turns and rolls over and staggers to the ropes. Selena runs over and nails him with a couple of hard rights before going to run across the ring, stopping at the middle and running back only for Striker to sidestep and throw her to the floor. Striker then runs across the ring, bounces off the far side and then dives over the top rope and right onto Selena Frost with a huge dive!

Sharper: “Striker leaves his feet! And just bowls over the former World Champion!”

Knots: “But look where he is! David! What are you doing?”

Sharper: “Takes down Selena! But here comes Raynes!”

Raynes drops down and runs over to Striker as he stirs. (1) Selena rolls over as Striker gets up. (2) Raynes then kicks him in the ribs and grabs him, driving him face first into the nearby announce table. (3) Raynes nails him again and then goes to roll him into the ring. Striker rolls over and over. (4) Selena slowly moves to the ring. She winces and pulls herself up to the apron. She then rolls into the ring. Striker rolls over and holds his jaw, falling back, but right towards SMP and Kim and SMP reaches over and tags himself in. He then nods and steps in. Selena slowly gets up and SMP runs over and grabs her and pulls her. He hooks her head and goes to hoist her up, but Selena spins through and lands behind SMP. She spins him around and hits the Glass Shard. The crowd ohs. Selena goes for the pin. Striker pulls himself up as Raynes and Pingotti enter. Raynes runs over to Striker as Kim enters and dives, but Pingotti grabs her and forces her down. Kim reaches.

The crowd boos as the bell sounds.

Phillips: “Here are your winners, via pinfall, Selena Frost, Andrew Raynes and Polly Pingotti!”

Sharper: “Selena Frost hits the Glass Shard. SMP was so ready.”

Knots: “And he just got ahead of himself. The opening was there and he went big. Selena…You don’t do that against the former World Champion!”

Sharper: “And Kim and Striker are eliminated with him.”

Knots: “No mass chaos this year!”

SMP holds his jaw as Selena rolls out of the ring. She then sighs as she walks around the ring. Polly lets go and rolls away as Kim looks at her and then to SMP. Striker slowly gets up as Raynes exits the ring, smirking. He throws his arm up. Striker slowly moves to SMP as Kim just looks around, shaking her head. SMP holds his jaw as he rolls over and Striker just shakes his head before running over and grabbing SMP, dragging him up and then double underhooking him up and into the Star Platinum. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “And David Striker showing some more frustration. Planting SMP with the Star Platinum.”

Knots: “Maybe even making a point. He didn’t hesitate for a second! SMP hesitated!”

Sharper: “Confidence unfortunately plays a role there. And nonetheless, Prime’s losing streak continues, while Selena Frost, Polly Pingotti, and Andrew Raynes move on.”

Kim looks at Striker. Striker just gets up and shakes his head before turning to Kim. The two talk a bit as the scene cuts away.

COMMERCIALS

Cameras pan across the crowd.

Sharper: “Folks, we will be back to the Trios Tournament in a moment, but as the winning teams from the quarterfinals prepare for their second match of the night, SCW has a treat.”

Knots: “The Dependables are back!”

Sharper: “They are…and SCW has the exclusive first look at the new trailer for the Dependables new movie…Dependables: Dependably Unretired! Take a look.”

The scene opens up with a shot of several helicopters flying over a jungle. There are a series of jump cuts to dramatically show the arrival of the helicopters. We see one land before we see a man, older, balding, walking out from the helicopter. He wears a suit, flanked by two military generals. He walks forward and shakes a man’s hand.

Man: “Mr. Petrov…how wonderful to see you.”

Petrov: “Of course. We will liberate you. You should be happy.”

Suddenly, the two generals pull out pistols, firing on the man, and those with him, meeting Petrov. Petrov then turns, speaking in Russian, the subtitles on the screen.

Petrov: “Come on. We need to get the stench of capitalism and Western hedonism out of here. Get the flamethrowers!”

We then see a series of shots of men using flamethrowers, before showing a series of explosions, and then showing a destroyed city, complete with burnt out cars and buildings, before showing a crying child, holding a burnt teddy bear. We cut to a shot of an island bar where there is a news story playing about the attack. We then see a cigar get placed in an ashtray before a glass of bourbon follows.

Braunschweiger: “No…”

We cut to a shot of a dark basement where we see a light in the center, lighting up a table. The camera pans around showing Chuck Taurus, Jean-Claude Von Doome, and Sly Malone, before showing Maddie Chase, clearly digitally altered to be SCW interviews Destiny Page. She notable just smiles, looking wooden.

Braunschweiger: “That son of a bitch Petrov has done it. My granddaughter…Angelica…Back in our first retirement, I retired there…and he’s destroyed it.”

Von Doome: “That son of a bitch Petrov must go down!”

Taurus just cracks his knuckles.

Mad-er-Destiny: “That’s totally sad! We have to stop him!”

It’s clearly Maddie Chase’s voice. The Dependables all look at one another before nodding. “Back in Black” by AC/DC suddenly starts to play as we see a slow motion shot of the Dependables and Desti-Maddie Chase walking out, all outfitted in an unnecessary amount of guns, munitions, and other ordinance.

Braunschweiger: “We’re back.”

Destiny Chase…no Page: “As if! You retired like two months ago!”

Von Doome: “Hey that a long time without kicking ass.”

Explosions are seen as we then cut to shots of Braunschweiger shooting at presumably Russian forces, before cutting to show Von Doome hitting a jumping spin kick on a helicopter before we see the helicopter exploding. We then see Chuck Taurus just glaring at people who then burst into flames and some dive off a military watch tower. We then see a shot of Maddie Chase, with Destiny Page’s face clearly on top of her face, falling. Braunschweiger is shown, clearly saying Maddie, but digitally altered.

Braunschweiger: “DEST-ADDIE!”

We see more shots with Braunschweiger ripping the arm off one soldier before turning and pointing the hand which somehow has stiffened up and starts shooting to kill other Russian forces. We then see, randomly Von Doome hitting a series of spin kicks on Nazis, before showing Chuck Taurus hitting a diving front kick to a Russian soldier, who knocks them into a Nazi, knocking both through a window, the impact, of course in slowmotion. We then see Sly Malone stepping three of their foes with one knife. We then see shots of Braunschweiger, Taurus, Malone, Von Doome and Destiny Page in a circle, firing various weapons including semi-automatic rifles, double pistols, and for Malone, a rocket launcher.

“The Dependables!”

Massive explosions fill the screen.

“They’re Back!”

More explosions.

“Like they never left!”

We then suddenly see Sly Malone knocking out one of the generals in a boxing match for…reasons.

“The Dependables: Dependably Unretired….in theatres everywhere.”

We then see Braunschweiger lighting a match off the corpse of a downed soldier. He lights his cigar. Cut to black.

The crowd roars as we see the fans cheering.

Knots: “Wow…I can’t believe they were able to seamlessly do that with Destiny-“

Sharper: “You’re kidding right?”

Knots: “Well, I mean I heard they spent $30 million on explosions alone. Several small nations have asked them to be investigated for the emissions they’ve caused. And it’s already banned in Russia.”

Sharper: “Naturally.”

Knots: “I plan to see it. I mean, why not!”

Sharper: “Some mindless entertainment.”

Knots: “Certainly better than setting fire to houses or attempting to murder co-workers-“

Sharper: “Wait…what?”

Knots: “I didn’t say anything.”

Sharper: “Uh…okay…well…we’ve been waiting to hear from Alex Desoubrais all night. Jaina Lancaster is standing by with the Chief Operating Officer for SCW. Jaina? Take it away.”

The scene cuts backstage where Jaina Lancaster stands with CHBK outside of his office. The crowd cheers upon seeing him.

Jaina: “Thank you Adam. Alex…you said you’d announce last week who would be facing Josh Hudson for the World Championship at Apocalypse. Then, things got a bit chaotic. The Fall of Man came out. Twin Magic came out to get a bit of revenge and in the process, no announcement was made. We then saw you speaking with Xander. So I am wondering…I mean Josh and Xander have their history.”

CHBK: “They do. But that was about something else. I happened to catch him backstage and more cameras just saw me talking to him and getting his thoughts about a few things. Xander very much is in contention for a number of reasons, but he will not be Josh Hudson’s first challenger and in fact, my decision is one that actually helps me make other decisions here regarding what to expect at Apocalypse.”

Jaina: “Oh?”

CHBK: “First allow me to make this clear so that way there is no confusion. Josh Hudson will be defending the SCW World Championship at Apocalypse. That’s for sure. And I had given it a lot of thought, but while there were young stars who came out with big wins at Rise to Greatness and since, and other’s had big wins, no one had a bigger win than this person. Both as a return to form, but also for personal reasons.”

CHBK pauses.

CHBK: “Challenging Josh Hudson at Apocalypse…the former World Champion…and frankly, I know I’m going to get some hate mail from his representation, but I don’t care…The woman who beat Simon Lyman at Rise to Greatness…Amy Chastaine!”

The crowd roars and Jaina looks pleasantly surprised.

Jaina: “My mom…Amy Chastaine to challenge Josh Hudson.”

CHBK: “She impressed at Rise to Greatness and I think for Josh’s first challenge, he deserves to face a respected and accomplished veteran and I know Amy will give him a hell of a challenge.”

Jaina: “I don’t doubt that for a moment!”

The crowd continues to buzz.

Jaina: “You said this helped you with other decisions though and…”

CHBK: “That’s correct. With Josh Hudson also eliminated from the Trios Tournament, but also, seeing the potential teams left, ultimately, I’m going to make another decision. Originally, the Trios Tournament finals were scheduled for next week’s Breakdown. I’m going to call an audible. Seeing who is still left, and who could be there, I want to make sure that people focus on the prize of Trios and don’t try to get involved…so…the finals for the Trios Tournament will now take place at Apocalypse!”

The crowd roars.

Jaina: “You said so people can’t get involved…you’re thinking Selena Frost, aren’t you?”

CHBK: “Maybe. Maybe not. But ultimately, the finals deserve to be on the biggest stage we can give it. It’s a massive opportunity and for the six individuals who walk away victorious in our next two matches, they’ll have that big stage to to potentially win those contracts-“

Just then, Kirsten Scott storms into the scene.

Kirsten: “Oh yeah…they’re going to get more time to prepare and potentially get more going. Looking at some of the names, they’ve been around here for decades. Yeah, we want to see more opportunities for Selena Frost or Xander Valentine, while you stick me with the dumbass hillbilly that if he doesn’t have the smell of money in front of him, he doesn’t know his head from his ass!”

CHBK: “That’s just the way it was drawn.”

Kirsten: “Oh of course it was. Of course it was. Putting the three of us against two of the established. You just can’t help screwing with me. Putting me to Thirteen. Yeah, like he’s got any business knowing what’s going on for me. But you just want to control me-“

CHBK: “No. I just want to avoid more chaos just because you can’t handle that you need to earn it.”

Kirsten: “I’ve earned everything. I beat the hell out of that snot for months and he gets lucky in a steel cage. I earned more than to be fodder with that dumbass and the Shinigami jackasses who are too busy trying to break a kid’s toy. But you give some extra time for Trios. What happens if they don’t make it-“

CHBK: “You try something, and we won’t be having this conversation, but maybe you can get some career advice from Kandis.”

Kirsten: “Try it!”

CHBK: “No, Kirsten. I think instead…Instead, I think I have something for you. You want your moments. You want to show the world you’re the next star. Then I’m going to give you that stage. Apocalypse, you’ve got your match. I have someone returning to SCW. And you…you can greet them in their return.”

Kirsten: “So I don’t get to know.”

CHBK: “You say you’re great. You want people to know they don’t FAFO. Well…you can find out…one way or another. Either you learn…or they learn.”

CHBK turns and heads back to his office. Kirsten Scott then turns to Jaina.

Kirsten: “What are you looking at?”

Jaina scoffs as Kirsten walks off.

Trios Tournament Semifinals Match

The arena darkens before:

Nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan

The Nyan cat appears on the screen, with the crowd popping. The cat in a poptart, farting rainbows steers around and breaks right into the screen, showing a window crack before breaking. At that moment, “Catch Me If You Can” by BABYMETAL’s opening riffs plays, and the girls' voice count:

One-Two
One-Two-Three-Four!

Out pops YUYO from behind the curtains. Bright white light now shines down on the stage, following YUYO. Mister Meowkazawa follows her to stand behind her. A moment later, her fellow Shining Maidens of SCW members join her as well. NEMO and SAWA pose at either side of YUYO. YUYO steps up to the top of the ramp and places her hands on her hips. Meowkazawa hands her the magical staff, Gríðarvölr. She spins the staff around with a display of talent, the long purple and white ribbons attached to the staff’s end flash. When she stops, she thrusts one hand forward while holding the staff behind her back.

YUYO: “HA!”

Phillips: “The following contest is a semifinals match in the 2024 Trios Tournament, scheduled for onefall with a one hour time limit. First, descending from the sea of stars above, weighing at 110 pounds, the Guardian of Love, Justice and Peace— Magical Cosmic Princess, YUYO!”

YUYO springs down the ramp, staff in hand, she tosses it into the ring as she slides in under the bottom rope. She pops to her feet, picks up the staff again in a single stride, and then straight to the corner. She holds the staff like a gun and aims towards the ceiling, “BANG! BANG!”. Mr. Meowkazawa catches up to her, taking the staff while she remains in the corner. She points to the sky, “FOREVER!”. SAWA echoes YUYO's call while NEMO stands stoically off to the side. YUYO runs to the next corner and repeats, “FOREVER!”. She hops off the corner with a superhero landing! She then puts on a “mean” face as she readies for the match. The lights around the arena begin to flicker as "Whoa Is Me" by Down With Webster starts to play over the arena.

The crowd boos as "All Star" Gavin Taylor steps out from behind the curtain onto the top of the ramp. As he stands in place, posing with his arms outstretched, the chorus of the song plays.

Gavin begins to walk down the ramp with swagger. He smirks as he gets to the ring. Pulling himself to the apron, he hangs out off the ring while holding onto the top rope.

Gavin pulls himself through the ropes and steps onto the second ropes on the opposite side of the ring from the ramp. He opens his jersey, sliding it off his shoulders as he stretches his arms out. Turning around, he bounces back off the ropes and joins YUYO in their corner. The first chords of "Immortal" by Ozzy Osbourne begins to play over the PA system...

Phillips: “From London, England, she is The British Bombshell GLORY BRADDOCK!”

Glory Braddock steps out onto the stage, wearing her ring gear consisting of purple spandex pants, boots, and a purple top. She really does look like a million bucks and grins from ear to ear, gazing out at the crowd for a moment before making her way down the entrance ramp.

The British Bombshell steps up the steel steps and then onto the ring apron. She poses momentarily on the apron, allowing people to take snapshots before stepping through the ropes and into the ring. Once in the ring Glory heads to the center of the ring and poses once more. Then the music dies down slowly...

Sharper: “Glory Braddock, YUYO and Gavin Taylor managed to find a way. And this is a team that could be the Team Smashmouth Unicorn Puke of this year. We all remember Xander Valentine, Ducky and Gavin coming together-“

Knots: “They have the background. Braddock two time winner; Gavin won. But Xander’s on the other side. And I don’t think he’s going to make it easy!”

“Victorious” by Skillet begins playing as the lights dim a bit. Slowly, Amelia Blythe makes her way onto the stage, putting herself front and center as she folds her hands in front of her, looking like a proper young lady as she looks somewhat solemnly down towards the ring. After a moment of this, Amelia slowly unfolds her hands and runs them along her mask, a smile slowly coming to her face. The SCW World Tag Team Championship sits around her waist.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a thirty minute time limit and is a quarterfinals match in the 2024 Trios Tournament. For the first team, first, coming down to the ring, from Oxford, England, she is one half of the SCW World Tag Team Champions, she is Amelia Blythe!”

With this, she proceeds to head down to the ring, her look growing more determined and battle-ready the closer she gets. Once she reaches ringside, Amelia climbs the ring steps onto the apron, wiping her feet before stepping through the ropes. As the song goes into the chorus, Amelia gives a victorious fist pump to the delight of the fans as she takes a moment to soak in the lyrics before removing her robe and the mask, giving the latter a quick kiss before she sets them both in her corner.

Sharper: “Both members of the Light in the Darkness are in this tournament on separate teams. If they do face, it will be in the finals.”

Knots: “Both are hoping for that, I’m sure. Both to delay it, but also it means one would walk away with a contract.”

Sharper: “But of course, a lot to do to get there and ultimately, Amelia’s team. I don’t know if they have an advantage of not. Perhaps more united in one sense, but there is the unknown that is Billy Heaven Jr.”

Knots: “Oh, there’s a known quality there!”

The opening polyphonic strokes of Tommy Richman’s “Million Dollar Baby” hit the PA, and the crowd immediately turns to boos. The stage lights intensify in brightness. Through the light, we can see the outline of an emerging competitor.

A two-step through the light and into the ramp, Billy Heaven pops onto the scene in his wrestling gear, a very large pair of sunglasses on his face.

A sharp three-hundred degree pivot on the ball of his foot, a crisp landing in a split-legged stance, left hand pointing to the sky.

‘CAUSE I WANNA MAKE IT, SO BADLY!

A sharp return of his upward pointed hand into an intense pump, thrust, and strut forward.

I’M A MILLION DOLLA BAYBAY, DON’T AT ME!

Phillips: “Next, from Los Angeles, California, this is Billy Heaven Jr.!”

And with that said, Billy Heaven Jr. obnoxiously smiles pointing to the crowd as he makes his way down to the ring. He rolls under the bottom rope, outstretched arms to receive his less than warm ovation, but it does not seem to register. He takes the sunglasses off and sets them on the top turnbuckle before standing on the second rope, leg over the top, bringing his hands together in a prayer. “Milllon Dollar Baby” dies out. He then turns and looks at Amelia and nods. He then walks over and goes to hug her, but Amelia moves away.

Sharper: “And Billy Heaven Jr. made an interesting debut last week.”

Knots: “Two HR violations already!”

Sharper: “And looking for a third. But he better be on his best behaviour.”

Knots: “We could see a murder. From either Amelia or Xander!”

The few opening keystrokes of “Soul on Fire” by Last Internationale chimed. A lull before the storm as the crowd seems to calm for only a moment before Delila Paz’s blues dominate the audio.

“Some are born to kill

A singular light appears before the curtains, on the other side is the outline of a large man. On the screen, we’re shown Xander Valentine holding onto the bars of a prison cell. He starts to bend the bars before the scene blurs.

The curtain drops to reveal Xander. A quick salvo of pyros explodes in front of him before he steps through the smoke with an intense look on his face. He goes from one side of the stage to the next, yelling out to the crowd and throwing up his arms. He then stops at the top of the ramp and throws his arm up into the air. He starts down the ramp, Xander’s gaze affixed on the ring.

Phillips: “And finally, fighting out of Fort Collins, Colorado… from Rochester, New York…the Paragon of Violence, the Executioner…. XANDER F’ING VALENTINE!”

Xander leaps up onto the apron in a single bound. Xander climbs up over the top rope and marches straight to the far side of the ring. He throws his arms up again, getting a massive pop. He goes to the opposite side and repeats to garner the same response. He hops down from the rope, and jogs into place, waiting for the bell.

Sharper: “Xander Valentine, Billy Heaven Jr. and Amelia Blythe managed to somehow get through their own issues.”

Knots: “The issues came from one direction, Sharper.”

Sharper: “They did and you wonder if they can do it again. Meanwhile, some history here. Xander Valentine across the ring from Gavin Taylor – one of his former partners when Team Smashmouth Unicorn Puke won as we just mentioned.”

The bell sounds as Gavin turns to YUYO and Glory and points to himself. Billy goes to step up, but Xander grabs him by the shoulder and pulls him back. Billy puts his hands up and steps through to the apron. Amelia obliges too. Xander steps up as Gavin looks at him. The crowd roars a bit. Gavin and Xander circle a bit before lunging at one another and they lock up. Xander pulls Gavin in and then shoves him back. Gavin rolls through. He gets up and Xander steps up and Gavin backs up and spins around the ring. The two watch one another before locking up again. Xander again shoves him back.

Sharper: “Xander just tossing Gavin back.”

Knots: “Stop going back to it. Just twice Gavin trying to grapple with Xander. Is he reliving the training?”

Xander heads after Gavin and Gavin nails Xander in the stomach. Xander winces and Gavin nails him again before nailing him with a hard right. He then grabs Xander in a side headlock. Xander however moves him around and into the ropes and fires him off. Gavin bounces off and Xander shoulders him down. Gavin hits the mat and rolls over and starts to get up. He staggers up and turns to Xander who scoops him up and slams him down. He turns and holds his lower back before Xander grabs him and knees him in the ribs. He then turns and whips him into the corner. Xander runs after and Gavin gets a boot up. Xander staggers back and spins around before Gavin runs out and goes for the Gavin Taylor Lariat, but Xander just catches his arm. Gavin looks at him and Xander then hoists Gavin up by the arm and muscles him over, throwing him down with a slam. Gavin rolls over and moves to the corner and reaches up tagging in Glory. Glory looks at Xander and steps in. Xander looks at her, telling her to come at him.

Sharper: “Gavin out. More history here. Xander and Glory have had their own rivalry. Glory taking previous losses particularly hard.”

Knots: “Yeah. He literally choked her out once!”

Sharper: “Amelia also there. Amelia and Glory have had some wars too. Both of the British style. I’ll be curious if we see some of that here.”

Glory steps up and Xander watches her. Glory then lunges and goes for the leg. Xander however blocks it and lifts Glory up and just gutwrenches her up and throws her over. Glory, however, lands on her feet. Xander turns and Glory hits a dropkick. Xander hits the mat. He turns and Glory goes for the arm. She sets up for a crossface, but Xander gets up her his knees and Glory clubs him a few times in the shoulder before Xander gets up and shoves her back. Glory falls back and rolls over. She gets up and runs at Xander and Xander kicks her in the ribs. He then knees her before whipping her into the ropes. She bounces off and then ducks a clothesline. She bounces off the other side and Xander scoops her up, but Glory kicks her legs and slides down. She pushes him into the ropes and goes for an Okana roll, but Xander holds onto the ropes. Glory rolls back. Xander turns and Glory hits another dropkick. Xander staggers into the corner. Glory heads over and chops him. The crowd woos. She chops him again. More woos. She then grabs Xander and goes for a running bulldog, but Xander shoves her off. Glory slides to a stop. She then runs at Xander, but Xander hits a boot. Glory falls back and rolls over. Xander turns and moves to the corner, but Billy immediately tags himself in. He enters and smiles as he walks over to Glory. He shoves off a bit as Xander shakes his head. Glory slowly gets up and Billy then walks over and says something to Glory, only to then reach out, and Glory catches his arm and locks in a crossface. She pulls back. The crowd roars.

Sharper: “Billy in! Tagging Xander out as Glory got some offense in!”

Knots: “And Billy…oh Billy.”

Sharper: “Crossface!”

Knots: “This is how flirting works in SCW!”

Heaven yells out and kicks his legs at the mat. Braddock keeps pulling back as he slowly moves himself to the ropes and grabs the bottom rope.

Braddock lets go and rolls back. She starts to get up as Billy holds his arm on the apron, right next to Gavin and YUYO. Billy then looks at YUYO.

YUYO: “No! CREEP!”

YUYO stomps him in the stomach. Heaven falls to the mats. He rolls over. (1) Glory then tags in YUYO. YUYO nods. (2) Heaven slowly gets up and YUYO leans in the corner and then runs forward and hits a somersault dive onto Heaven. (1) The crowd roars.

Sharper: “YUYO leaves her feet! Flip dive onto Heaven.”

Knots: “And Billy Heaven may need to show some of that training I heard he did.”

Sharper: “Was it on his Instagram?”

Knots: “Maybe, but because I was in Canada and it counted as news, I couldn’t watch it!”

YUYO rolls over and gets up and points at Heaven. She then grabs Heaven and drags him up and rolls him into the ring. YUYO rolls in after and Heaven starts to get up and YUYO wrenches his arm. She runs up the corner and to the top. She walks along the top rope, dancing and singing before then drilling Heaven in the face with the YUYO Funtime Song and Dance! She goes for the pin.

Heaven kicks out. He rolls over. Amelia and Xander both look for the tag, but Heaven shakes his head no. YUYO then gets up and grabs Heaven. She elbows him in the back of the head once and then again before then running into the ropes. She bounces off and clotheslines Heaven down. YUYO turns and then grabs him and Heaven elbows her in the stomach and shoves her back. He then backflips back and hits the LA Special #3. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “Heaven just pulling out an amazing maneuver. A handspring pele.”

Knots: “And YUYO didn’t see that coming. No one did!”

Heaven smiles and looks at Amelia and Xander before he grabs YUYO and whips her into the neutral corner. Heaven walks over and kicks her in the ribs. He then hits a back elbow before then smack talking the crowd. He then elbows her again and then grabs YUYO and pulls her out and hits a T-Bone suplex. He goes for the pin.

YUYO gets his shoulder up. Heaven gets up and turns and looks at Amelia. He points at her and smiles, tagging her in. Amelia enters as YUYO starts to get up.

Heaven: “Wore her down! Finish her off!”

Heaven goes to spank Amelia, but Amelia just looks at him. Heaven backs up and then looks at Xander who glares at him. YUYO stirs and Amelia grabs her and hits a snap back suplex.

Sharper: “Hard back suplex. Amelia is going to be a different type of challenge for YUYO.”

Knots: “YUYO’s just having all of the challenges. Hasn’t even had any opportunities for justice yet!”

Amelia then turns and rolls YUYO over and flips over her back into an Oklahoma roll.

YUYO kicks out. Both women get up and Amelia hits a European uppercut. YUYO falls to the ropes. Amelia grabs her and whips her across the ring. She bounces off and hits a cartwheel evasion, but Amelia then catches her with another European uppercut, following her. YUYO falls over to the corner. Amelia drags her up and then whips her across the ring. Amelia heads after and chops her. The crowd woos. She chops her again. More woos, but then YUYO ducks a forearm shot and then jumps to the middle rope and hits a back kick to the head. YUYO Falls over as Amelia staggers. YUYO crawls over to her corner and tags in Gavin. Gavin enters the ring and runs over and nails Amelia with a series of hard right hands. He then grabs her and pulls her out with a vertical suplex.

Sharper: “And Gavin in and immediately trying to take advantage of the opening YUYO created.”

Knots: “Crafty. And maybe for justice!”

Sharper: “Oh stop it!”

Gavin turns and hits a knee drop to Amelia’s head. He turns and grabs her and drags her up only to hit a ribbreaker. Gavin runs into the ropes, bouncing off and hitting a powerdrive elbow. He goes for the pin.

Amelia kicks out again. Gavin turns and grabs Amelia and pulls her up. He chops her. The crowd woos. He chops her again. More woos. He then whips her into the ropes. Amelia bounces off and Gavin scoops her up, but Amelia lands behind Gavin before then locking in a full nelson and hitting a quick dragon suplex. The crowd roars. She bridges up.

Gavin rolls out of it. He starts to get up and Amelia turns and hits another European uppercut. Gavin falls back and into Heaven who grabs him and clubs him over and over and over again. Amelia looks at him, a bit annoyed. The official warns Heaven. Amelia then grabs Gavin and hits a northern lights suplex into a bridge.

Glory breaks it up. She backs away as Heaven points and tries to get the referee to go after her. Amelia rolls over and stirs and shakes it off. Gavin grabs at the ropes. He gets up and Amelia turns and hooks him up with a backslide.

Sharper: “Amelia immediately going back to a pin!”

Knots: “Making Glory and YUYO have to get their steps in!”

Gavin this time rolls out and Amelia hits another European uppercut. Gavin staggers and leans back. Amelia then runs into the ropes, bouncing off, but Gavin then steps up and hits the Desperation Buzzer-Beater. He hooks the leg.

Amelia kicks out. Both get up and Gavin runs at Amelia and hits the Gavin Taylor Lariat. Amelia drops and Gavin leans on the ropes. Glory and YUYO both extend their arms. Gavin however then turns and runs at Heaven and drills him with a Gavin Taylor Lariat of his own. Heaven hits the mat and drops to the floor.

Knots: “One for Amelia. And Gavin! Taylor! Lariat! For Heaven!”

Sharper: “But Xander right there!”

Gavin turns to Xander and Xander drills him with a hard right. Gavin drops down. The crowd ohs as Amelia looks over at Xander. Gavin turns and starts to crawl. Amelia too.

Sharper: “And now, Amelia. Gavin. Both needing to make a tag!”

Knots: “Xander’s Amelia’s only option thanks to Gavin! And I don’t know if Glory and YUYO are okay with that!”

Amelia crawls towards Xander as Gavin crawls over too. The crowd looks on as Heaven slowly stirs. Gavin reaches. He moves closer and closer and reaches and dives, tagging in Glory. Amelia tags in Xander. The crowd roars as Xander and Glory enter. Xander steps up and goes for a haymaker. Glory ducks and runs into the ropes. She bounces off and hits a flying headscissors. Xander gets up and Glory hits a dropkick. She gets up and hits another dropkick. Xander falls to the corner. Glory runs across the ring, but Heaven then trips up Glory. Glory turns and hits a dropkick through the ropes, knocking Heaven back. Glory rolls over and gets up and walks into Xander who scoops her up and hits a huge sidewalk slam.

Glory gets her shoulder up. She rolls over. Xander gets up and Glory starts to get up and turns into Xander who kicks her in the ribs. He hoists her up and onto his shoulder and hits a Snake Eyes. Glory staggers back and Xander runs into the ropes, and hits a running boot. He goes for the pin.

YUYO runs over and hits a double stomp to Xander’s back. YUYO falls over as Xander rolls over in pain. He starts to get up.

YUYO: “You get off her!”

YUYO backs up and to the corner as Xander gets up.

Sharper: “YUYO with the save! A big one. Glory caught that boot right to the head.”

Knots: “And YUYO getting out of there. You don’t have your staff. You can’t count on your skills!”

Sharper: “And Xander is focused on her, just for a moment!”

He turns back to Glory and grabs her, and Glory suddenly jumps up and hits the Gloria in Excelsis Dio. Xander falls back. Glory moves to the corner. She climbs up to the top rope and looks at Xander. She dives off with the London Plunge! She crawls over and hooks the leg.

Xander gets his shoulder up. Glory rolls over. Glory turns and looks over and YUYO and Gavin both have their arms out. Glory dives and tags in Gavin. YUYO looks a bit annoyed as Gavin enters the ring. He then runs over and grabs Xander and nails him with a couple of clubbing blows to the back. He then hits a kick to the ribs and then a kick to the thigh. He goes for the Dependable Roundhouse.

Knots: “In honour of the new movie!”

Sharper: “I don’t know about that! But Xander reeling. Braddock and Taylor just keeping the fight on him!”

Gavin then turns and runs into the ropes. He bounces off and hits a running Gavin Taylor Lariat. The crowd roars. Xander remains on his feet. Gavin staggers back and turns around and runs into the ropes again. He bounces off and nails Xander again with a Lariat. Xander remains on his feet. Gavin then runs across the ring, and bounces off, but this time, Xander hits a boot. Gavin falls back and to the ropes. Xander then turns as YUYO springboards to the top rope and dives forward, not yelling anything, but Xander catches her. The official tells YUYO to get out. YUYO looks at him, shaking his head and Xander then runs and throws her at Glory. Glory and YUYO fall to the floor. As this happens, Heaven comes up behind Gavin and low blows him. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “YUYO was trying to help Gavin!”

Knots: “She didn’t even yell out! She wanted in when Gavin was tagged in. But Xander sensed it coming!”

Sharper: “And the low blow! Billy Heaven with the low blow!”

Gavin steps out and Xander spins him around and hoists him onto his shoulders and turns, dropping him with the Valhalla has Fallen. The crowd ohs. Xander goes for the pin. Blythe in the corner, looking at Heaven who smirks.

The crowd cheers as the bell sounds. Xander rolls off.

Phillips: “Here are your winners, via pinfall, Xander Valentine, Amelia Blythe & Billy Heaven Jr!”

Knots: “Billy Heaven Jr. is one win away from a Trios Tournament win!”

Sharper: “The low blow with the assist! I don’t know if Xander saw it. I don’t know if he cares.”

Knots: “I wouldn’t!”

Sharper: “But Glory Braddock is glaring at YUYO. She’s upset. Gavin will be. YUYO doesn’t seem happy.”

Glory looks at YUYO as YUYO rolls over and looks at Meowkazawa and her Maidens. Xander gets up and has his arm raised. Heaven just rolls into the ring and walks over and demands his arm raised. The official obliges as Xander looks at him and Amelia enters the ring too.

Trios Tournament Semifinals Match

The arena goes dark and a voice can be heard saying ”And the story goes…a young man will come…to save the universe from the forces of evil…

The voice dies down for a few moments before “I Will” by Eminem featuring KXNG Crooked, Royce da 5'9" & Joell Ortiz kicks in.

“And I don't think that I can stop it, here it comes…I do my best to try to block it, redrum…I've been sipping on like, vodka, head's numb...I'm blacking out, you better watch it, it's bedlam…”

The lights come back on and Scott Reed steps out from the entrance way, the crowd erupting in cheers.

“I thought I heard a voice in my head that said, "Kill"
I had no other choice that was left except fill
My pencil full of poisonous lead, the devil
He wants me to murder this beat, so I will”

Reed makes his way down the ramp, slapping hands with fans along the way. He reaches the ring and goes up the ring steps. Going across the apron, he looks out at the crowd once again as they continue to cheer. Climbing into the ring, Reed goes to the center.

Phillips: “The following contest is a semifinals match in the 2024 Trios Tournament, scheduled for onefall with a one hour time limit. First, Introducing, weighing in at two-hundred and twenty pounds, hailing from New York City, New York…he is…Scott! Reed!”

“He told me there are doubters who question my skill
They wanna put my style to the test, am I still
The best? They want the crown on my head, I said, "Chill
If you want me to murder this beat, then I will"

Reed climbs up to the top rope and points to the center of his chest, mouthing the words, ‘I will’ as the music dies down. Hopping down from the turnbuckle, he leans into the corner, waiting for the match to begin. The lights dim as the strobe lights flash. The crowd’s murmurs fade into a hush as the opening chords of “Warrior” by Imagine Dragons reverberate through the speakers. A few moments pass before a figure emerges, his silhouette outlined against the backdrop of flashing lights. It's Chris Lawler, a titan among men, his presence commanding attention as he strides purposefully down the entrance ramp.

Phillips: “Next, from Nashville, Tennessee, he is Chris Lawler!”

Ignoring the cacophony of cheers and jeers that surround him, Lawler remains resolute in his mission, his gaze locked on the squared circle where his destiny awaits. As Lawler reaches the foot of the ring, the strobe lights reach a crescendo, bathing him in the arena lights. With a subtle nod to the crowd, Lawler ascends the steel steps. He enters the ring and looks around. Standing tall in the center of the ring, Lawler raises his gaze to the heavens. “Believe In Tomorrow” by Sunflower’s Garden begins to play as bright white lights begin flickering on and off on the stage in rhythm with the music. La Pequeña Luz, wearing her World Tag Team Championship, skips out onto the stage with the kind of smile that could light up an entire room all on its own plastered to her face, dancing a bit to her theme song and waving her arms in an attempt to get the crowd pumped up, drawing cheers.

Phillips: “And finally, from Tulancingo, Hidalgo, Mexico, she is one half of the SCW World Tag Team Champions, La Pequena Luz!”

She plays to the crowd a bit, skipping to the ring. Once she gets to the apron, she becomes all business, taking a deep breath, and jumping up onto the apron. She goes over to her team after looking across the ring.

Sharper: “Reed, Lawler and Luz came together well. They got out of the first round and Lawler even exorcised a demon in his team defeating Waylon Creek.”

Knots: “Reed needs to get his ass kicked more. He comes back strong. Same for Lawler. Luz just there…one more step. Depending on how this goes, Light in the Darkness could face each other in the finals!”

Sharper: “They have to get through tonight though.”

A coin can be heard dropping into a coin slot.  A few seconds pass, which is when an open field is shown up on the SCW tron.  A flock of birds rise up from the tall grass and fly away as the sound of a piano can be heard playing, leading into the opening of "Bird Set Free" by Sia.  The moment the opening words are heard, Polly steps out from the back and stands at the forefront on the stage.  She looks up at the tron to see one straggling bird rise up from the grass all by its lonesome. Polly admires the one small bird that begins to fly away now too until Sia reaches the chorus, which is when she turns around as a pair of pyros goes off on each side of the entranceway.  The nearest camera catches her piercing bright green eyes as she begins to walk down the ramp and down to the ring.

Phillips: “Their opponents, first, making her way to the ring, from Panguitch, Utah, Polly Pingotti!”

Polly does smile but only briefly as she turns her attention to the task at hand.  She can hear the usual mix of cheers and boos, leaning more towards cheers than boos.  She gives one full look around the arena before she slides into the ring under the bottom rope. Once inside the ring she stands right up, closes her eyes, and presents a flying motion. She opens her eyes back up and light on her feet chooses a corner of the ring to wait in.  With her arms now back at her sides, her focus builds on the fight that she is about to go through. The arena goes dark and strobe lights pulse through the arena as "Through Struggle" hits the speakers. The crowd erupts into raucous boos as the lights dim around the entrance ramp, smoke begins to rise. After the intro kicks in, the lights start flashing as the smoke gets thicker, after a few moments we see Andrew Raynes appear through the smoke, his head shifted towards the ring, focused, a cold stare. He stands there for a few seconds still looking around, devoid of the fans.  He starts walking slowly with a cold stare in his eyes. 

Phillips: “Her partners, first, from Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, he is Andrew Raynes!”

As he continues to look focused, he makes his way down the ramp, ignoring the fans. He walks down towards the ring where he slides in under the bottom rope. He pops up in the middle of the ring and looks around. He looks over at his opponent with a cold stare, sizing them up before the match even starts. 

BELIEVE IT... OR NOT!

"Thank You for Hating Me!" by Citizen Soldier plays throughout the arena, the SCW Universe deafening the song with their boos. The lights shift to dark purple and blue, filling the arena as snow is seen “falling” along the electronic floor and screens as, out from the back, walks the Snow Queen, Selena Frost, taking in the crowd of the SCW Universe with a smirk.

Phillips: “And finally, their partner, from Nome, Alaska, by way of Manhattan, New York, she is the Snow Queen, Selena Frost!”

Slowly, Selena shifts her head, her sapphire eyes locked towards the ring as she turns to her side and lifts her front hand gracefully, extending it towards the ring, palm upward. With a lift of her front foot, she suddenly slams it down into the ground, causing a crack like ice to form and sprint down the ramp and towards the ring! Lowering her arm, the Blue-Eyed Devil walks down the ramp, her steps leaving footprints in the “snow” under her feet. Reaching the ring, Selena goes up the steps and under the ropes to enter it. Once inside and in the center of the ring, she stands still, confident and powerful, as the lights form to make a massive blue and black snowflake under her and the purple and blue lights. Raising her hand back up, towards the audience, once again palm upright, a wicked smirk graces her lips. With a slam of her foot, Selena causes the snowflake at her feet to “crack” as the rampway did, the shards of ice streaking out to all four corners of the ring to shoot out purple streaks of light from the turnbuckle the lights return to normal.

Sharper: “Raynes, Frost and Pingotti worked well enough together. On the other, Reed, Luz and Lawler, we expected could get it together.”

Knots: “Yeah, but it gets harder and harder. You’re one win away from the finals. You win tonight, you compete at Apocalypse for some heavy benefits.”

Sharper: “The finals of the Trios Tournament taking place at Apocalypse. Winning team, each member gets a contract they can use to book any single match they wish in the next year.”

Reed steps forward as Luz looks across at Selena Frost. Frost looks at her team and then at Reed before stepping to the outside. Reed watches Frost as Polly then runs across the ring and kicks Reed in the ribs. The crowd ohs and the bell sounds. Polly forearms Reed in the jaw twice before whipping him across the ring. He bounces off and Polly hits a dropkick. The crowd ohs and Polly quickly hooks both legs.

Reed kicks out. He rolls over and gets up and Polly forearms him again before dragging him over to the neutral corner. She drives him face first into the corner. She then pushes him in and the official tries to get her back, but Reed then kicks her in the ribs and nails her with a hard right. Polly staggers as Reed nails her again. He then runs into the ropes. He bounces and Polly goes to back drops him. Reed jumps up and backflips down her back, landing on his feet. Polly turns and Scott hits a dropkick. Polly rolls over and gets up and Scott hits a snapmare before then forcing her down and hitting a leg drop. He goes for the pin.

Polly kicks out. Reed rolls away.

Sharper: “Hot start here. Reed and Pingotti with a rapid pace.”

Knots: “And Polly and Reed were friendly a few weeks ago!”

Sharper: “Polly wants the contract. Wants the win.”

Knots: “And I think Reed wanted Frost. Didn’t get that.”

Polly turns and Reed kicks her in the ribs. He then whips her into the neutral corner. Reed runs after and Polly slips out to the apron. Reed hits the corner, chest first, and steps back and Polly hits a gamengiri on the apron. Reed staggers back. Polly climbs up to the top rope. Reed gets up and Polly goes for a crossbody, but Reed rolls through into a pin.

Polly kicks out. Reed rolls off and to his corner. Lawler tags in. Lawler steps into the ring and Polly instead turns and runs at Lawler but Lawler blocks a forearm shot and nails her with a hard right and then grabs her and spins her into the ropes. She bounces off and Lawler lifts her up into a military press. The crowd roars, with calls for the Lawler Cutter, but Lawler then press slams her down.

Sharper: “And Lawler with the strength. Up goes Polly-“

Knots: “And Lawler still not a fan of Polly and I’m sure it mutual.”

Sharper: “And Lawler planted her.”

Polly rolls over and Lawler follows up and kicks her in the ribs. He whips her across the ring. She bounces off and Lawler scoops her up and hoists her up onto his shoulder before hitting a powerslam. He hooks the leg.

Polly gets her shoulder up. She rolls over and moves to the ropes. Lawler then grabs her and pulls her up, but Polly turns and rakes the eyes. This gets some boos. Polly then jumps to the middle rope and hits a twisting crossbody, taking Lawler down. She rolls through and tags in Raynes. Raynes enters and runs over and stomps Lawler in the side of the head. Lawler rolls to his side and Raynes then stomps him in the side of the head over and over before then stepping on his head, grinding the sole of his boot into his face. He steps off as the crowd looks on.

Sharper: “And Raynes just taking the pace a different way. Stomping the hell out of Lawler.”

Knots: “Did Lawler owe him money? Maybe that’s why he didn’t want his personal life coming out.”

Lawler rolls over and Raynes grabs him and pulls him up and tees off with a hard right. Lawler falls back into the corner. Raynes then shoulders him in the ribs over and over and over again. The official starts to count, but Raynes pulls out and whips Lawler across. He then runs after and hits a running clothesline. The crowd ohs as Lawler falls to the mat. Raynes then walks over, dragging Lawler over and tagging in Selena. Selena enters the ring and Raynes holds Lawler open for Frost who kick him in the stomach. Lawler winces. Raynes exits. Selena then watches Lawler before hitting a dropkick, as the crowd boos her. Selena gets up and hits an elbow drop before going for the pin.

Lawler kicks out. Selena rolls off and then grabs Lawler. She drags him up and moves him to his knees. Selena hits a shoot kick to the chest and then a second one before rearing back and kicking him in the head. Lawler goes down. Selena then shakes her head before hooking the leg again.

Lawler kicks out again. Selena rolls over and turns, tagging in Raynes. Raynes climbs up to the top rope.

Sharper: “Frost and Raynes are working well together.”

Knots: “Put everything aside to win. Frost doesn’t seem too impressed by Lawler. Or something.”

Sharper: “She just seems like she’s not impressed by much. She thinks she’s better than everyone. And now, here comes Raynes! From the top!”

Raynes dives off with an elbow drop to the chest of Lawler. He then gets up and runs across, knocking Luz off and then Reed before running over to Lawler and hooking the leg.

Lawler kicks out. Lawler turns and moves to the ropes. Raynes grabs him and chokes him on the ropes.

Raynes steps back and then grabs Lawler and pulls him up. He then goes to whip him across the ring. Lawler hits the ropes, bouncing off and Raynes goes for a clothesline, but Lawler ducks and hits the opposite side before suddenly jumping up and hitting a variation of the Blitz Kick on Raynes.

Sharper: “Lawler leaves his feet. That Blitz Kick to the face.”

Knots: “Raynes just got a reintroduction in a big way. That’s the hardest shot he’s faced tonight!”

Lawler rolls over and crawls over to the corner as Raynes shakes his head, touching his nose. He rolls over and Lawler dives and Reed quickly steals the tag. Luz looks over as Reed enters as Raynes dives forward and tags in Polly. Reed sighs as he points at Frost. Frost smirks as Polly enters and runs over and nails Reed with a forearm. Reed fires back with one of his own. They trade shots before Reed hits a kick to Polly, but then Raynes drills Reed with the Thunderstruck. He then drops down and rolls to the floor. Polly then runs into the ropes, hitting a springboard corkscrew moonsault. She goes for the pin.

Reed kicks out. He rolls over. Polly turns and grabs him. She drags Reed up and spikes him with a DDT. Polly then turns and exits to the apron. She climbs up to the top rope. The crowd looks on as Polly looks over and she then hits the Bird Set Free onto Reed. Reed rolls over, holding his stomach. Polly then looks at him and runs into the ropes. She bounces off and goes for the Head Turner, but Reed manages to slide back. Polly jumps over him. He then steps forward and grabs her and hits the Buck the Corrupt. He rolls away and reaches over.

Sharper: “Reed finally stopping Polly. Polly was looking to end it there with the Head Turner. Reed just able to counter.”

Knots: “Polly has to go for a tag. Reed too. And if Selena’s in…”

Sharper: “Luz has not yet been in this match too.”

Reed crawls over as Polly rolls over to the ropes. She looks up. Reed holds his ribs and dives and tags in Luz. Polly dives and tags in Selena. Luz slingshots in and looks at Selena. Selena enters and then lunges at Luz. Luz jumps over Selena as she goes for the legs. She then runs into the ropes. She bounces off and Selena gets up and hits an arm drag. Luz rolls through and gets up. Selena runs at her and Luz hits an overhead chop. She then grabs the arm of Selena and wrenches it before running up the corner. Selena, however, pulls and Luz turns and lands on her feet and rolls through. Selena then lunges, but Luz ducks and then stops, flipping back, placing her legs on the shoulders of Selena. Selena, however blocks it and pushes Luz forward. Luz lands on her back and Selena stomps her in the face. She then grabs Luz as Luz holds her face and drags her up into a snap suplex.

Sharper: “Hard suplex. Selena and Luz used to be friends. Used to be allies. I don’t know about now.”

Knots: “They’re competitors, Sharper. Selena wants that Trios contract! Luz does too! That’s that.”

Selena then gets up and hits a leg drop. She goes for the pin.

Reed breaks it up. Selena rolls off and Reed reaches for her again. Selena kicks at him. Reed is forced out by Demitra. Reed looks at Demitra as Selena goes to Luz who has moved to the neutral corner. Selena chops her. The crowd woos. She chops her again and then whips Luz across the ring. Luz hits the corner and Selena runs after and hits a running spinning heel kick. Selena goes up and over the top rope and lands on the floor. Luz drops to the mat. Selena rolls back in. Luz slowly gets up and Selena grabs her arm, spins through and moves into a La Magistral cradle.

Luz kicks out. Both get up and Selena then grabs Luz’s arm and wrenches it. She then whips her towards the Frost/Pingotti/Raynes corner. Luz however hits the middle rope and backflips back. She spins around and Selena goes for a clothesline. Luz ducks and Selena stops and turns around and Luz jumps up and hits a hurricanrana into a pin.

Selena kicks out and Luz falls forward and blocks a hard right from Raynes and nails him with one before hitting Polly with one. Luz then glances back as Selena gets up and Luz springboards to the top rope and hits a moonsault onto Frost, knocking her back down.

Sharper: “Luz countering Frost. Frost tried to set her up!”

Knots: “And Jesus! Luz!”

Sharper: “Moonsault takes down the former World Champion!”

Luz rolls off after Frost kicks out. Reed asks for the tag as Selena rolls over and gets up and Luz hits a thigh kick and then a kick to her side before jumping up with a spinning back kick to the jaw. Selena hits the mat and rolls over and gets back up. Luz then fires her into the corner. Luz runs after and Selena lowers her head, backdropping her over. Luz, however, lands on her feet on the apron. Selena then turns and Luz blocks a shot before nailing her with a hard shot before running up the turnbuckle and diving forward with a twisting arm drag. Selena rolls through and then gets up. She turns around and walks into Luz who kicks her in the ribs and hits a DDT. Luz goes for the pin.

Frost gets her shoulder up. Luz rolls off. She then starts to get up as Reed again calls for the tag, but Luz grabs Frost and pulls her up. She places her head between her legs and hoists her up for a powerbomb and drops her. She then runs to the ropes and handsprings in before going for a moonsault, but Frost gets her foot up and pushes her up. Luz, as a result, can’t land on her feet and falls back. She gets up and turns into Frost who gets up and kicks her in the ribs before hitting a spike DDT of her own.

Sharper: “Frost! That’s how you stop the momentum.”

Knots: “Yeah, you use the mat to drive her head into it. Jesus! That DDT.”

Selena rolls over and gets up and winces before walking back over and grabbing Luz. She drags her up and then hits the Claim Stake. Luz falls back. Selena hooks the leg.

Reed knocks her off again. Selena falls back. Reed gets up and grabs her and pulls her up.

Reed: “Come on Selena! Don’t like it-“

Demitra tells Reed to get back as Selena turns and claps her hands and rolls to the floor. She winces as Raynes and Polly then look at one another before Raynes enters the ring. He runs over to Luz and grabs her.

Sharper: “Reed again going after Frost. He clearly wants to prove himself. Or still has issues with her actions-“

Knots: “Frost just said screw it. She’s rolled out of the ring. She clapped her hands so Demitra would think there’s a tag!”

Sharper: “And Raynes now in. Pingotti and Raynes both a bit taken aback. Frost catching her breath in front of us.”

Raynes then runs Luz over to the neutral corner, driving her face first. He kicks her in the ribs over and over and over again.

Raynes backs up and walks around the ring. He then runs at Luz and hits a clothesline. He steps out and pulls her out and then whips her into the corner. Raynes runs after and Luz gets an elbow up and then runs out and hits a twisting frankensteiner. Luz then gets up and staggers up before diving for the tag and tagging in Lawler. Lawler enters and runs at Raynes and clotheslines him down. He spins around and knocks Polly off before turning and knocking Selena off as she gets back up. Lawler turns and sees Raynes and hooks him up and hits a back suplex. He turns and gets up and exits to the apron. He climbs up to the top rope. The crowd roars as he then dives off and goes for the Air Assault. He connects. He covers Raynes.

Polly breaks it up. Polly rolls over and Reed enters and runs over and nails Polly with a hard right and then another and another before turning and throwing her to the floor. Polly staggers over. She turns back and Reed hits a vaulting press onto her.

Sharper: “Lawler nearly had Raynes! Reed now going after Polly! Over the top! The Plancha!”

Knots: “Focusing on winning now, not just Selena!”

Selena walks around the ring as Lawler rolls over and gets up. He then turns and grabs Raynes. He pulls him up. Raynes nails him a couple of times before running into the ropes. He bounces off and Lawler presses him over his head. He turns, but Selena rolls in and hits Lawler with the Glass Shard. Lawler falls back and Raynes lands on top of him. Luz turns and pulls herself up and goes to enter, but Selena runs over and dropkicks her back.

The bell sounds as Raynes’s music plays throughout the arena.

Phillips: “Here are your winners, via pinfall, Selena Frost, Andrew Raynes & Polly Pingotti!”

Sharper: “And Raynes gets the three! Selena Frost with the assist!”

Reed rolls into the ring. Frost rolls to the floor. She then stretches out a bit and walks forward. Luz falls to a knee.

Knots: “Frost, Pingotti and Raynes going to Apocalypse to the Trios Tournament Finals!”

Sharper: “Reed just noticing Frost got involved in the end. He wanted Selena all match. And just like that, his hopes dashed. Luz’s too. Same for Lawler.”

Knots: “But there you have it…Valentine, Heaven Jr. & Blythe against Frost, Pingotti & Raynes your Trios Tournament Finals.”

Sharper: “To take place in just over two weeks time at Apocalypse! What a night from Boise! Good night everyone!”

Frost heads to the back as the scene slowly fades out…
