“Supreme Championship Wrestling...”

A shot of Kelcey Wallace nailing Bree Lancaster with the Perfect Ending, followed by a shot of Steve Griffin hitting the Decimator off the top rope on CHBK at the first Rise to Greatness, before turning a shot of Jake Starr pumping up the crowd on his way to the ring, before turning into a shot of Ravyn Taylor sitting in the corner, waiting for the start of a match. We then see a shot of Katie Steward holding the Women’s Championship before cutting to a shot of Selena Frost hitting Vixen Cain with the Defying Gravity at Supreme Saturday: Just Desserts.

“The leading force in sports and entertainment today....”

MAIN SHOW:

An instrumental version of “Fortunate Son” by Creedence Clearwater Revival plays in the background as we see a shot of Gavin Taylor proudly coming into view.

Gavin: “This has been a long time coming…”

We see a shot of Gavin Taylor pinning Syren at Retribution and celebrating.

Gavin: “We’ve been on a special mission. A great mission. A mission second to none…”

We see shots of Gavin Taylor giving thumbs up to fans while walking out to the ring, standing in private boxes, or while in the ring.

Gavin: “We’ve been trying to change the world. To make SCW Gavin Again and it is here. That moment is here. That greatness is here.”

We see shots of Gavin Taylor coming off of private jets, smiling and waving while standing with Jenni Anderson, and then showing shots of him standing “victorious” over Syren and others.

Gavin: “It was time for a change. A true change. More than what Aloof Alex, Sleazy Syren, or Selfish Selena could do. And that time is here.”

We then cut to a shot of Gavin Taylor shaking hands, kissing babies, and signing autographs, all while wearing the SCW World Championship. His All-Star Secret Service stands nearby.

Gavin: “People can try to stop us, but we are at the forefront of something special. And we come back to my home away from home…where I said I’d return a champion.”

Gavin smiles as we cut to showing Gavin arriving in Australia.

Gavin: “Australia’s favourite son is home! And SCW is made Gavin Again!”

The SCW World Championship is shown before showing Gavin Taylor posing with Jenni Anderson. They wave as the American flag unfurls behind them and the scene fades to black.

We reopen as we see the Hubris logo appear on the screen. “Who Will You Follow” by Evanescence plays in the background.

“And now, Supreme Championship Wrestling presents…live from Melbourne, Australia…Hubris!”

The Hubris logo remains on the screen for a few moments before we cut to the inside of the Marvel Stadium in Melbourne. The crowd cheers as pyro shoots around the stage and high into the air. The pyro display continues for several moments before we cut to spotlights circling the arena. The crowd continues to cheer as the cameras pan across the crowd.

Sharper: “Welcome to Melbourne as SCW comes to the Land Down Under!”

The cameras continue to pan across the crowd before cutting to the ringside area where Adam Sharper, Jonathan Knots, and Devon Kayl sit.

Sharper: “Welcome to ringside. Welcome to Hubris. I’m Adam Sharper, here alongside Devon Kayl and Jonathan Knots. And folks, a lot of eyes on our main event tonight.”

Knots: “Gavin Taylor has returned home. A hero. And he should have been facing Amelia Nevado in classic. But Syren and Selena Frost have muscled their way in and Gavin Taylor is going to have to take on the world. He’s going to make SCW Gavin Again and Amelia Nevado is going to help take out the trash.”

Kayl: “And then we’ll see if Dawn Lohan is ready for the hell she’s unleashed. Deanna Frost at ringside. Kimberly Williams will face Dawn. CHBK making that decision late, forcing Dawn to have to earn her shot.”

Sharper: “And we’ll also see the Underground, World Tag Team Championship, and we expected to see the US Title on the line in an open challenge. But we have news there to say the least. All that and more. But let’s go to the ring!”

Simon Lyman vs. Chris Lawler

Melbourne Street Fight

Jason Phillips stands in the middle of the ring.

Phillips: “The following contest is your opening content, scheduled for onefall and is the Melbourne Street Fight!”

The crowd roars. The crowd buzzes before “Hero” by Skillet plays. The crowd roars. A few moments pass before we see Simon Lyman walk out from the back, wearing jeans and a “Still Simply Sensational” t-shirt. He looks around as he pauses for a few seconds, taking in the moment. He then looks up and looks around the arena. The crowd cheers as Simon then heads to the ring.

Phillips: “Introducing first, from Columbus, Ohio, he is Simply Sensational... Simon Lyman!”

Simon walks down the entrance way. Simon walks over to the ring and over to the steel steps. He grabs the ringpost and climbs up the steps and onto the apron. He then steps into the ring. He steps around and extends his arms as the crowd cheers him. He looks around for a few moments. He then walks around the ring before going to the corner and stretching out.

Sharper: “This is a street fight. Lyman and Lawler have been at each other’s throats for weeks now. All around the Underground Championship and Lyman coming to fight.”

Knots: “Good. He’s only got so much going. But I hope he’s ready.”

Sharper: “Perhaps the last time he’ll compete in Australia in his illustrious career.”

The dimmed lights cast an atmosphere of anticipation as the arena falls into darkness, the only illumination coming from the pulsating strobe lights. The crowd's murmurs fade into a hush as the opening chords of "Warrior" by Imagine Dragons reverberate through the speakers, electrifying the air with anticipation.

From the depths of the darkness, a figure emerges, his silhouette outlined against the backdrop of flashing lights. With each step, the floor trembles beneath his feet, echoing the determination that propels him forward. It's Chris Lawler, a titan among men, his presence commanding attention as he strides purposefully down the entrance ramp.

Phillips: “His opponent, from Nashville, Tennessee, he is Chris Lawler!”

His eyes, a piercing shade of blue, remain fixed on the ring ahead, unwavering in their focus as if they could pierce through the very fabric of reality. Ignoring the cacophony of cheers and jeers that surround him, Lawler remains resolute in his mission, his gaze locked on the squared circle where his destiny awaits, storming down the entrance way.

Sharper: “And here comes Chris Lawler, focused on the ring. Ready to fight!”

Kayl: “And this is a street fight. They’re both in their street gear. And here we go!”

Chris Lawler then reaches the ring and slides in. He gets up and Lyman throws a hard right to his jaw. Lawler fires back. The crowd erupts as the two trade blows in the middle of the ring.

Sharper: “Two veterans teeing off!”

Lyman and Lawler trade a couple more blows before Lawler gets a shot in and this reels Lyman. Lawler nails Lyman again and then again before drilling him with a haymaker, knocking Lyman through the ropes to the floor. Lyman rolls over as Lawler pulls himself through the ropes to the floor. He then grabs Lyman and pulls him up and nails him with a hard right. Lyman falls back and into the announce table, landing on top of it. The crowd looks on as Lawler then grabs Lyman and hammers away on him over and over and over again. Lyman covers up as Lawler keeps hammering away.

Sharper: “Lawler all over Simon Lyman! Lyman covering up and just trying to survive.”

Knots: “Something has changed in this man. Lawler is just that much more deadly. Almost like he’s tapped into something.”

Lawler pushes off and Lyman grimaces on the table as Lawler climbs up onto the apron. He then looks at Lyman before then exiting to the apron and then climbing up to the top rope. The crowd roars as Lawler gets to the top and then stands at the turnbuckle, looking down. Lyman then rolls off of the table. Lawler looks down and hops down onto the apron and then drops down to the floor. Lawler then grabs Lyman and nails him with a hard right. Lyman stumbles back and into the timekeeper’s table. Lawler then walks over to Lyman and Lyman grabs the ring bell and turns and nails Lawler in the face. Lawler goes down as the crowd ohs. Lyman drops the ring bell.

Sharper: “And Lyman with the ring bell. Oh my. Right to Lawler!”

Kayl: “That’s one way to get back into this.”

Lawler turns and rolls over, wincing. He reaches up and crawls forward, using the announce table to get back up. Lyman then runs at him and clotheslines him down on the mats. Lyman walks forward and looks around. Lawler winces and Lyman drops down to his knees and nails Lawler over and over and over again. Lyman pulls off and looks under the ring. He then pulls out a steel chair. Lawler starts to get up and Lyman waits before driving the edge of it into the ribs of Lawler. Lawler grimaces and Lyman lifts the chair up and slams it into Lawler’s back. Lawler collapses to the mats.

Sharper: “And the chair to the back. Lyman got all of that swing.”

Knots: “Right to the back. And Lawler just went limp from the impact.”

Lawler winces as Lyman throws the chair into the ring. He then looks under the ring again and pulls out a trash can with a roadsign, two kendo sticks and a baking sheet inside. He then throws it into the ring. Lyman then sees Lawler getting up and nails him with a hard right. Lawler leans against the announce table. Lyman then takes off his belt.

Knots: “Whoa! It’s not that kind of show Lyman. Leave that to the Glimmers!”

Sharper: “Lawler may be about to make a trip to the woodshed!”

Lyman then turns and Lawler reaches up and Lyman whips him in the side. The crowd ohs as the whip sound echoes. Lyman then whips Lawler again, this time in the back. Lawler staggers forward and Lyman nails him again, whipping him a third time. Lawler rolls into the ring. Lyman follows and rolls in. Lawler starts to get up and turns and Lyman whips him in the face. He goes down and Lyman dives onto him, using the belt for leverage, pushing down on Lawler’s throat while covering him.

Lawler kicks out. Lyman rolls off. Lawler rolls over to the chair. Lyman then gets up and whips Lawler again. The crowd ohs as Lawler grimaces and gets up. Lyman then walks over to him and grabs him and tries to wrap the belt around the head of Lyman. Lawler blocks it and Lyman keeps trying before Lawler flips him over. Lyman rolls over, dropping his belt. Lawler turns and grabs the trash can and turns and just throws it at Lyman as he gets up. It bounces off his face and he falls to the mat.

Sharper: “And that’s one way to stop Lyman. The trash can to the head. Just bouncing off of him.”

Kayl: “And Lawler now looking at the weapons in the ring and he’s now got some intentions.”

Knots: “He had them before. They were just delivered through his taped fists.”

Lawler then walks over and grabs Lyman and pulls him up and runs him over to the corner. Lyman turns and Lawler hits a back elbow and then another and another. He goes to whip him across the ring, but Lyman spins through and sends Lawler in. Lyman runs after and Lawler gets a boot up. Lyman staggers over and grabs the road sign. Lawler, however, grabs the belt. Lyman gets up to his feet and Lawler then takes the belt and wraps it around the head of Lyman and loops it through. The crowd looks on and Lawler then turns and spins Lyman around, whipping him around by the other end of the belt before sending him over the top rope and hanging Lyman!

Sharper: “He’s hanging Simon Lyman! Lawler is trying to take him out!”

Knots: “He was on borrowed time as is. Lawler is shortening that!”

Sharper: “Referee! Get involved! This is too much!”

Lawler just looks coldly as Lyman as Lyman struggles, reaching around and trying to grab the top rope with one hand, while grabbing at the belt with the other. The official pleads with Lawler to stop as Lyman starts to slowly fade. The crowd looks on as Lawler keeps pulling before then suddenly letting go and Lyman drops to the apron. Lyman leans on the bottom rope and Lawler then looks at him before turning and grabbing the chair. Lyman slowly comes too and sits up more straight, only for Lawler to come over and swing the chair, nailing Lyman in the back, knocking him off the apron to the floor. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “And Lawler just cracked Lyman in the back with that chair.”

Knots: “Did it clip him in the back of the head?”

Sharper: “I don’t know, but Lyman had no way to protect himself and Lawler knew it. Just pure intent to destroy.”

Lawler then drops the chair and rolls to the floor. He then grabs Lyman and pulls him up. He turns and rolls him into the ring. Blood starts to drip on the mat as we cut to another shot, showing a gash in the back of Lyman’s head. Lyman starts to get up and Lawler grabs the chair and then turns and drives it into the ribs of Lyman. Lyman drops to the mat. Lawler then unfolds the chair before placing it down. He then grabs Lyman and whips him into the ropes. He then hoists him up and hits the Fury Suplex through the chair. The crowd ohs. Lyman arches his back in pain and Lawler pushes him down and covers him.

Lyman gets his shoulder up. The crowd roars. Lawler looks down at him. He then shakes his head and gets up and drives his elbow into the chest of Lyman before getting up and doing it again. Lawler turns and grabs the kendo stick.

Sharper: “Lyman somehow kicking out. But with what left?”

Kayl: “Lawler is just letting things hurt. He’s taking his time. He’s making sure he gets full shots in. He’s trying to dissect Simon Lyman!”

Lawler then turns as Lyman stirs and starts to get up and Lawler cracks the kendo stick into the back of Lyman. Lyman falls to the mats. Lawler then rears back and nails him again. The crowd ohs. He then pulls Lyman up and hits a kendo stick assisted Russian leg sweep. He then rolls over into a pin.

Lyman gets his shoulder up again. Lawler rolls off. He then shakes his head before then looking around. He then grabs the trash can and kicks it into position before doing the same with the broken chair and the other weapons before then pulls Lyman up by his hair. He then hoists him up and places him on the top turnbuckle. The crowd roars as Lawler then headbutts Lyman. He rears back and nails him again with a hard right before climbing up to the middle rope and then to the top rope. He grabs Lyman and starts to set him up for a superplex into the pile of weapons, but Lyman suddenly pulls on the legs of Lawler and Lawler falls back, hooked upside down on the top turnbuckle, his ankles caught. Lawler looks around and Lyman jumps up and hits an elbow drop to the chest of Lawler, causing his head to whip back.

Sharper: “Lawler caught! Elbow drop!”

Knots: “Oh no! This is bad for Lawler! Very bad!”

Kayl: “And he’s hung up upside down!”

Lawler looks around as Lyman falls forward and then grabs the kendo stick. Lawler starts to sit up, trying to grab the top rope to help free himself. He pulls up and Lyman turns and cracks him in the upper back with the kendo stick. The impact echoes as Lawler grimaces in pain and falls down. Lyman staggers before then shrugging and swinging and nailing Lawler right in the ground with the kendo stick. The crowd ohs as Lawler holds himself in pain. Lawler then drops to the mat. Lyman staggers around the ring as the crowd roars.

Knots: “Lyman just went down under! In the Land Down Under!”

Kayl: “That’s one way to take it up another notch!”

Lawler holds himself and rolls over and starts to get up and Lyman nails him in the ribs with the kendo stick. Lawler falls to the mat. Lyman then looks around before seeing Lawler getting up, wincing. Lawler seethes and turns and runs at Lyman, but Lyman hits a spinning spinebuster into the trash can and broken chair. The crowd ohs. Lawler rolls over in pain. Lyman crawls over for the pin.

2!

Lawler gets his shoulder up. Lyman rolls off. Lawler rolls over, still in pain. Lyman then looks around and rolls to the floor. Lyman looks under the ring and grabs another steel chair. He rolls into the ring. Lawler crawls over to the ropes, the anger on his face. Lyman then runs over and goes to nail him, but Lawler moves out of the way. Lyman stops the chair from hitting the ropes. He turns around, but Lawler nails him with the Blitz Kick, knocking the chair back up into Lyman’s face. The crowd ohs as Lyman then falls to the mat. Lawler goes for the pin.

2!

Lyman gets his shoulder up. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “And Lawler almost had him! Lyman overzealous!”

Knots: “Or desperate!”

Sharper: “Maybe. He saw an opening. Lawler saw him coming.”

Kayl: “And look at his face. Lawler is just pure anger right now.”

Sharper: “Or is it focus.”

Lawler then looks around and then grabs Lyman and pulls him up by the hair. He shakes his head and then places his head between his legs. He then hoists him up and turns for the Impact Driver, but Lyman presses down and rakes his eyes. Lawler pushes him up and Lyman is pushed over Lawler’s head and lands behind him. Lawler holds his face, rubbing his eyes. He turns and grabs the steel chair. He then turns and moves to Lyman who suddenly drills him with the Leading the Revolution, driving the chair back into his face. The crowd erupts.

Sharper: “Lawler got caught this time! Leading the Revolution!”

Lyman drops down and covers him.

3!

The bell sounds. Lyman rolls off and winces and falls to his side.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Simon Lyman!”

Sharper: “And Simon Lyman comes to Australia and puts Lawler in his place!”

Knots: “He wanted to get a run in the Underground. Can he handle that again? And again?”

Sharper: “He’s going to have to. These two beat the hell out of each other here.”

Lawler remains down, holding his face as Lyman starts to get up. He moves to the ropes and leans on them. He winces and looks around before having his arm raised. His music plays throughout the arena and Simon Lyman looks around and nods.

Sharper: “Maybe his last time competing in Australia and he walks away with a win. Simon Lyman victorious over Chris Lawler!”

Lyman exits to the floor. He then starts to walk around the ring, limping noticeably as he high-fives fans and the scene cuts away.

The camera cuts to another location in the Marvel Arena where we see none other than the "Ronin" himself, Chris Dumont, sitting alongside Aisling Reed and the rest of the Phantom Troupe - Kevin Slayton, Gabriel Marik, and Alex Belmont- as the man himself runs a hand through his hair with a slightly bemused look on his face.

Chris: “I understand fully why I'm not on the card here tonight for Hubris, it's because the powers that be who run this company want to give me just a little bit more time to get my wits before throwing me into the deep end of the pool. Well, I hate to point out to the bosses who believe that they know everything that one simple fact of I grew up in this industry, I watched my father, mother, step-mother, namesake, and everyone else who is blood family to me navigate those trick waters week in week out, so I know the great secret to that.

It's all the *DEEP* *END*.

There is no safe and protective shallow end, so I have never pretended otherwise.

But in order for me to go forward, I want to admit something that I think even Knox will be impressed over... and that initially I wasn't ready to be a part of this company's roster.

You see I knew what I wanted and I knew how to get what I wanted, but then I saw something more important to me.”

Chris takes Aisling's hand into his right hand and squeeze's it for a moment before looking back at the camera.

Chris: “And when someone hurt that which was more important to me than gold, I went berserk pure and simple and I started to lash out at everyone and anyone, including my own brothers in arms and that almost cost me everything as Gavin gleefully showed that fact without any sign or hint of remorse, because in his fractured little fairytale mind of his... he's the "Good Guy" and I'm nothing more than "Crazy Chris", someone that needs to be wiped out of his self obsessed world view.”

Chris gently lets go of Aisling's hand and then stands up, fixing the camera with a serious look as he does so.

Chris: “And now you're the world champion, Gavin. Bragging and boasting about how you're going to do all of this bullshit and how there's not a single person out there that can stop you... and you've got Knox sucking at the teat of epic delusions, don't you? Just like how you tricked Religious Wright and the rest of the EFN to go against their very nature and worship the ground that you tread upon.

You, at the highest height of your delusions, honestly believe that you are "immune" to any and all forms of suffering.

Well Gavin, you've got the Devil on your six and he's coming for revenge... and there is not a single thing that you can do to stop me, because while people like Syren and Selena and Amelia and everyone who the fuck else is coming for you and that title, I'm just coming for *you*... and your fucking head.

So tonight, right here in Melbourne, Australia, in front of my grandfather and my extended family... I'm going to remind you of one of the greatest historical elements of this very great country that we are currently in, Gavin;

This used to be a prison island.

And as such, there is no escaping me... convict.

So remember to keep your head on a swivel during the main event, Gavin. Because one way or another, your world title reign ends here tonight... and you're suffering will truly begin.”

The screen cuts away.

We then cut to see Scarlett Carsons down in the backstage area, having been thrown into a storage crate, and down next to it. Fiona Logan, Melinda Braddock, and Clyde Sutter are being backed up by officials as Carsons grimaces in pain.

Sutter: “Fate has a funny way, doesn’t it. Well…you shouldn’t just stayed out of our way…”

Melinda smiles as Fiona looks on as officials keep trying to get Sutter and the Vision back.

Sharper: “And Carsons…that’s Scarlett Carsons assaulted!”

Kayl: “They had to have jumped her!”

Sharper: “That’s what it looks like and looks like Sutter and the Vision are taking no prisoners tonight in Australia!”

Sutter motions to Fiona and Melinda and they head off. Cameras cut back to Scarlett as the trainer checks on and officials remain around her.

Scarlett Carsons vs. Clyde Sutter vs. Colleen MacDonald

SCW Television Championship

As we cut back to the ring, we see Jason Phillips and referee Jennifer Cassidy leaning through the ropes and conversing with one of the ringside production crew members. Once they've got confirmation about whatever they were discussing, Phillips returns to the center of the ring to do introductions for the next match.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is for the SCW Television Championship!”

The lights in the arena go out as the opening chords of “Unforgiven” by Metallica begins to play. As the song picks up its pace a spotlight shines at the top of the ramp and we see “The Assassin” Clyde Sutter standing there with a sinister grin on his face, dusting off his hands in satisfaction after what he just did. He is joined by the beautiful Melinda Braddock. After a few moments of soaking in the crowd reaction, which he seems to enjoy despite their booing, Sutter and Melinda begin to make their slow walk down the ramp. The spotlight follows the sinister sociopath as he approaches the ring.

Phillips: “Introducing first, the challenger, being accompanied to the ring by Melinda Braddock, currently residing in Charlotte, North Carolina, he is The Assassin... Clyde Sutter!”

They reach the ring area and Melinda kisses him on his cheek. Sutter then foregoes the steel steps as he leaps up from the floor to the ring apron. With the spotlight remaining only on Sutter as one of the few lights in the arena at the moment, Sutter enters the ring and then stands in the center. The sound of Metallica dies down and the lights come back on.

Sharper: “Well folks, this was supposed to be a triple threat match for the Television Title, but as we saw, Clyde and The Vision decided that Scarlett Carsons needed to be removed from the equation altogether. With Scarlett being checked on by our medical team backstage, it looks like this is going to proceed as a one-on-one.”

Kayl: “I don't know if that really benefits Clyde, though. The last time he challenged Colleen one-on-one for the title, he didn't exactly manage to come out of it the winner.”

Knots: “Do you really think Colleen wouldn't have worked with Scarlett to take him out of the equation? He's literally the biggest threat in this match, and now Colleen won't have anybody watching her back!”

A coin can be heard dropping into a coin slot, followed by a few girls giggling. But before “C’est La Vie” by B*Witched can even begin, Colleen steps out onto the stage from the backstage area, wearing her normal all-black ring gear and having the SCW Television Title belt around her waist. Colleen does a cutthroat signal. The music turns off as she stands still and waits until the beginning of “How Far I’ll Go” by Auli’i Cravalho begins to play. Colleen nods once before beginning to slowly head down the entrance ramp. The crowd does keep their eyes on her as she looks straight down at the ring, where Clyde is smirking and eagerly begging for her to meet him.

Phillips: “His opponent, from Orderville, Utah, she is the SCW Television Champion... Colleen MacDonald!”

She keeps going until she arrives down at the ring. Not quickening her pace, she steps up the steel ring steps and climbs over the top rope to get into the ring, with Jennifer Cassidy stepping in to make sure Clyde doesn't jump start this match. Once inside she does look around the arena. She simply approves of her surroundings before she turns to the business at hand, removing the title from around her waist and handing it to Jennifer Cassidy to hold up as she begins warming up before the bell rings. The Television Title logo flashes across the screen.

Kayl: “Just because Colleen and Scarlett teamed up and worked well together to beat Melinda and Fiona a few weeks ago doesn't mean they wouldn't have clashed in this matchup, Jon. Let's not forget, their match at Retribution was interrupted by Clyde!”

Sharper: “That's what laid the groundwork for this to be a triple threat before what just happened, but Colleen doesn't look fazed by it in the slightest. If anything, it does make it a little easier for her to potentially retain her title tonight.”

Knots: “Not when fate is clearly on Clyde's side! What happened to Scarlett was just the beginning, mark my words!”

Jennifer Cassidy signals for the bell and Colleen wastes no time in charging at Clyde, the two of them immediately getting into a brawl that the fans that the fans are all for! They trade blows, though Colleen looks like she’s got the upper hand as Clyde is backed into the corner. Just as Colleen starts bombarding Clyde with right hands and Jennifer Cassidy moves in to call for a break, Clyde grabs her and switches their positions by lifting her up and throwing her against the turnbuckles before he starts hammering away on her now! The fans boo this as Jennifer Cassidy starts counting for a break, but only gets to two before Clyde turns and tries to intimidate her into backing off. This allows Melinda an opening to hop onto the apron for a cheap shot, but Colleen cuts her off with an elbow to the face that sends her back to the floor before she starts clubbing Clyde from behind!

Sharper: “These two have been all over each other since the bell rang and neither one’s been able to definitely gain the upper hand!”

Kayl: “Melinda even tried to get involved while Clyde was intimidating our referee for just doing her job, and she got dispatched pretty quickly!”

Knots: “See? Colleen’s all angry because Scarlett got taken out, and Clyde’s going to make her pay for it soon enough!”

Colleen keeps clubbing Clyde in the back until he staggers his way over to an adjacent corner, turning as Colleen starts unloading on him with even more right hands. She grabs his arm and irish whips him across the ring into the opposite corner before charging in and sandwiching him with a clothesline! Clyde falls into a seated position in the corner as Colleen backs up, watching him carefully before she charges in, looking for The Facewarmer, but Melinda pulls Clyde out of the ring! The fans boo as Colleen stops herself and looks down at Clyde and Melinda as Jennifer Cassidy warns them both.

Sharper: “Colleen firmly in control right now, but Melinda saving Clyde before his head could be crushed.”

Kayl: “She’d better be careful about getting involved too much. Not only could Jennifer Cassidy just toss her from ringside at any time, but she’s also got her own match later tonight.”

Knots: “She’ll be fine. It’s all a part of fate’s plan!”

Clyde takes a moment to recover as he and Melinda converse out on the floor. (1) Colleen paces around in the ring, clearly not willing to take any potential bait regarding this situation. (2) Melinda kisses Clyde on the cheek again and he begins to climb back into the ring, with Colleen letting him. As he starts to approach her, that’s when Colleen closes the distance with another right hand, but Clyde blocks this one before burying his knee into her gut! He irish whips her into the ropes, but Colleen manages to reverse it, only for Clyde to surprise her with a big boot on the rebound! He walks around her for a moment as the fans boo before he grabs her legs and turns her over into a boston crab! He puts as much of his weight as he can on Colleen’s lower back, causing her to grit her teeth in agony, but she refuses to submit when Jennifer Cassidy asks her.

Knots: “See? What’d I tell you?”

Sharper: “Clyde managing to gain the upper hand off that boot, and now just forcing Colleen’s lower back to carry all of his weight.”

Kayl: “We know Colleen loves using her rear end like a weapon and this is going to make it hard for her to do so without hurting herself in the process.”

Colleen slowly tries to crawl towards the ropes, but the fact that Clyde’s got a whole foot and about a hundred pounds on her makes this an agonizing endeavor. Still, the fans cheer her on as she keeps refusing to submit even as Clyde cranks back even more on the boston crab. She reaches out, her fingertips brushing against the bottom rope, but Clyde proceeds to drag her back to the center of the ring before squatting down once more! The fans groan and boo as Colleen gasps in agony while Melinda grins and applauds out on the floor. Jennifer Cassidy checks in again, but Colleen still refuses to submit as she fights to get to the ropes once more, the fans cheering her on again. After a few more painful moments, Colleen reaches out and manages to get her hand on the bottom rope! Jennifer Cassidy calls for the break.

Clyde finally releases the boston crab, walking away from Colleen while shaking his head, almost as if disappointed that she didn’t submit.

Sharper: “Colleen finally managing to get a rope break to escape the boston crab, but I can’t imagine what kind of pain her lower back must be in now.”

Kayl: “I can tell you from experience, Adam, that trying to wrestle while your back is damaged makes everything you do incredibly difficult and painful to execute.”

Knots: “The smarter move on Colleen’s part would’ve just been giving up, because now Clyde’s just going to torture her even more!”

Colleen slowly pulls herself back to her feet using the ropes, clutching at her lower back in pain. She turns towards Clyde, and he wastes no time in lifting her up and planting her into the mat with a huge spinebuster! He goes for the cover, hooking the leg.

2!

Colleen gets a shoulder up! Clyde sneers down at her before he pulls her back to her feet. He hoists her up for a powerbomb before angling himself towards one of the corners, perhaps thinking buckle bomb. He starts moving towards the corner, but Colleen starts throwing right hands to try and fight her way out! Clyde falters for a moment but manages to keep his grip, trying to soldier on towards the corner for the buckle bomb, but just as he loosens his grip to toss her, Colleen staggers him with a 12-to-6 elbow right between the eyes before shifting her weight, coming down on him with a crossbody! Jennifer Cassidy slides into position to make the count.

1!

2!

Clyde kicks out! Colleen rolls away, clutching at her lower back as she slowly gets back to her feet.

Sharper: “An incredible counter by a very persistent Colleen for a near fall!”

Knots: “How the hell did Colleen escape!?”

Kayl: “She knew she needed something to free herself. If Clyde hit that buckle bomb after the damage he’s done to her back thus far, that may have very well been game over.”

Clyde uses the turnbuckles to help pull himself back to his feet, looking furious about what just happened. Melinda tries to warn him, but he turns around just as Colleen throws all her body weight into a big stinger splash in the corner! Clyde staggers out of the corner as Colleen, running on adrenaline to push herself through the pain shooting through her back, runs off the ropes and drills him with a huge spear! She goes for the cover, hooking the leg.

Clyde gets a shoulder up! Colleen doesn’t relent, however, getting a side mount before hammering away at Clyde as the fans cheer louder for every shot she delivers! She slowly stands up, glaring down at Clyde as she tries to stretch her back a bit before she connects with a big jumping elbow drop right across the ribs! She remains on him for the cover.

Clyde kicks out again!

Sharper: “Colleen now, really throwing her weight around to try and take as much out of Clyde as she possibly can!”

Kayl: “He tried to damage her back, she’s trying to return the favor to his ribs. If Clyde starts having trouble breathing, this could get really bad for him in a heartbeat.”

Knots: “Clyde will be just fine. He’s got fate on his side!”

Colleen slowly pulls Clyde back to his feet, though she clutches at her back for a moment as Clyde remains limp enough to make her haul his entire body weight back up. She grits her teeth and irish whips him into the nearest corner before yelling out in her adrenaline rush as she charges in and spears him in the corner! Clyde falls to a seated position, coughing and gasping as he clutches at his ribs. Colleen slowly backs up, measuring Clyde, but Melinda hops up onto the apron! She tries to grab at Colleen, but Jennifer Cassidy moves in to stop her and demand that she get down. Colleen watches Melinda for a moment, making sure she’s out of her range, before she charges at Clyde, looking for The Facewarmer once again, but Melinda’s distraction allows Clyde enough time to recover as he moves and Colleen crashes into the turnbuckles back-first! She cries out in agony as she staggers out of the corner, and Clyde runs off the ropes before almost beheading her with a clothesline from hell! He stalls for a moment, coughing and clutching at his ribs as Melinda finally gets off the apron, before he makes the cover, slowly hooking the leg.

Colleen gets a shoulder up! Clyde looks stunned as Melinda yells at Jennifer Cassidy from the floor, accusing her of a slow count.

Knots: “I’m with Melinda! Fate dictated that should’ve been a three count and the referee messed it all up!”

Sharper: “Melinda providing a distraction that bought Clyde enough time to avoid disaster, but I’d be more inclined to say he didn’t get the three because of that momentary pause before the pin.”

Kayl: “It’s all instinct. Your ribs are hurting and you’re struggling to breathe, you subconsciously prioritize that before realizing you might have the win if you make the cover.”

Clyde grits his teeth, clutching at his ribs again as he slowly stands up and double-checks with Jennifer Cassidy about the count, annoyed that she’s holding firm on her two count. He growls at her before he sees Colleen slowly trying to get back to her feet, though her back is not making this effort any easier. Clyde helps her back to her feet before going to lift her for a gorilla press, perhaps thinking Cruciform Slam, but he immediately recoils from the pain in his ribs at the motion while Colleen falls back against the ropes. She yells out in pain as she forces herself to move forward and clock Clyde with a stiff right hand! Clyde staggers for a moment before he returns fire with a stiff right of his own! Colleen rebounds off the ropes, gritting her teeth at the pain her back is in, before she delivers another hard right! Clyde stumbles back for a moment before he responds with another right as well! Colleen rebounds off the ropes again before throwing another right, this time as a body shot, and Clyde coughs and clutches at his ribs again! It’s at this point that the fans give a mixed reaction, though the cheers seem to outweigh the jeers, and we find out why as the camera angle changes to show Scarlett Carsons, despite still being a bloody mess, slowly making her way down to the ring!

Knots: “What the hell is she doing down here!? This match started without her!”

Kayl: “Only because The Vision tried to take her out! But this was supposed to be a triple threat match and the third competitor is finally here!”

Sharper: “I don’t know how wise this is of Scarlett. She’s still a bloody mess and looks like she can barely stay on her feet.”

We see Melinda move around the ring to try and block Scarlett’s path as she continues her slow approach. Back in the ring, Colleen boots Clyde in the ribs to keep him in pain before she runs off the ropes, but she runs right into another big boot from Clyde! Colleen staggers back against the ropes and rebounds again, this time right into the Assassination! Clyde clutches at his ribs, being forced to take his time trying to roll Colleen over for a cover. Meanwhile, we see Scarlett suddenly rush the rest of the way down the ramp, to Melinda’s surprise, before she catches her with the GODMODE! It’s not a perfect delivery as her knee ends up being driven more into the side of Melinda’s jaw than right between the eyes, but it’s enough to get her out of the way as Melinda clutches at her jaw in pain. In the ring, Clyde finally gets Colleen rolled over for a cover.

Scarlett pulls herself into the ring and dives to break up the pin at the last possible second!

Sharper: “Scarlett! Getting some revenge on Melinda and then keeping this match going!”

Knots: “That should be a disqualification!”

Sharper: “As Devon said, this was originally scheduled to be a triple threat involving her, making this perfectly legal.”

Kayl: “Plus, even if that wasn’t the case, Clyde wouldn’t win the title off a disqualification.”

Jennifer Cassidy motions that Scarlett breaking up the pin is legal as she acknowledges the third competitor finally joining this match, though she’s clearly concerned about the state Scarlett’s in as she starts pulling on gloves. Scarlett, uncaring that she’s a bloody mess that’s wobbly on her feet, motions to a stunned Clyde to come at her. Taking a deep, pained breath, Clyde obliges, charging her with another clothesline from hell, but Scarlett manages to duck it before barely grabbing enough of his head to drop him with a neckbreaker! She stumbles trying to get back up, but waves off Jennifer Cassidy from checking on her as she grabs Clyde by the hair and drags him over to sit in the nearest corner. She slowly backs up, taking a moment to try and get her bearings while wiping some of the blood from her eyes, before she runs in, slowly at first but managing to force herself to pick up speed as she delivers the Nightmare Make Believe! As she pulls herself off of Clyde, she walks while holding the top rope, trying to ignore the referee as she makes an attempt to check on Scarlett, but Scarlett watches as Colleen, seemingly unaware that Scarlett’s finally in the match, suddenly runs in and finally crushes Clyde’s skull with The Facewarmer! The fans are cheering as Colleen slowly drags Clyde out of the corner, clutching at her back as she positions him for The Collapser, but Scarlett moves in and hooks Colleen for the G.P.T. only for Colleen to manage to throw her off! The two women stare each other down as Colleen finally realizes Scarlett, despite the state she’s in, has joined the match.

Sharper: “I don’t think Colleen was aware that Scarlett finally came down! She saw Clyde sitting in the corner and took her shot!”

Kayl: “They may have been partners a few weeks ago, but Colleen’s title is still on the line and Scarlett would very much like to call herself a champion here in SCW!”

Colleen asks Scarlett if she’s sure she can go right now, and Scarlett responds with a thrust kick that manages to clip Colleen enough to send her staggering into the corner! Scarlett grits her teeth and shakes her head before she rushes in and catches Colleen with a running knee strike in the corner! Colleen staggers out of the corner as Scarlett slowly pulls herself up to the top, struggling a bit to keep her balance but she keeps shaking her head and trying to push through the obvious pain she’s in. Colleen turns as Scarlett is still trying to steady herself, but Clyde clubs her from behind! He turns Colleen around and pulls her head between his legs for a potential powerbomb, but Scarlett suddenly leaps off and manages to catch him with the Fallen Angel! Clyde rolls towards the ropes as Scarlett shakily pulls herself to her feet, but Colleen suddenly runs right through her with a spear! She looks between Scarlett and Clyde for a moment before moving to kick Clyde out to the floor before she positions Scarlett and proceeds to deliver The Collapser! Instead of remaining seated on Scarlett’s face like she normally would, Colleen rolls into a proper cover and hooks the leg.

Jennifer Cassidy calls for the bell as "How Far I'll Go" by Auli'i Cravalho hits the speakers again, the fans cheering as Colleen pulls herself back to her feet, wincing a bit as Jennifer Cassidy raises her arm in victory and hands her the Television Title.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, and STILL SCW Television Champion… Colleen MacDonald!”

Knots: “I call foul! Clyde Sutter should be the champion right now, and he would’ve had it if Scarlett had stayed backstage!”

Kayl: “Maybe The Vision shouldn’t have tried to take her out before the match! Seems like fate’s dishing out a little karma tonight!”

Sharper: “Regardless, Colleen continues her impressive run as Television Champion. Scarlett, meanwhile… she probably shouldn’t have come out here in this condition, but I have a feeling there will be hell to pay for The Vision after how this unfolded.”

Jennifer Cassidy kneels down to check on Scarlett as the ringside doctor also slides in to check on her, along with a few other officials. Colleen checks on her as well before she turns her attention to the rampway, where Clyde and Melinda are retreating. She holds the Television Title belt high to the delight of the fans as Clyde’s glare burns a hole straight through her while Melinda tries to reassure him that fate is still on The Vision’s side with one more title opportunity for them still to come tonight.

Backstage, we see Gavin Taylor in his private locker room. He paces back and forth as Karl and Jack Barker stand across from him. Jenni Anderson is in the room too, as are Mr. Black, Religious Wright, and Dean Black.

Karl: “Don’t worry, boss. We’ve got them handled.”

Gavin: “Do we? They have been a thorn in my side for months. Crazy Chris…I’m sorry that he got attacked, but he shouldn’t have been so attackable!”

Jack: “We’ll handle it…”

Gavin: “Well we will…be we have something better. Actually power around here.”

Gavin turns and walks over to Dean Black.

Gavin: “You…you believe in what we’re doing.”

Dean: “Well, uh-“

Gavin: “I know. It’s impressive. And just make sure that you keep it that way. Make sure that no one we don’t want get involved gets involved. We need to stop the steal, Dean. You know exactly how far it goes.”

Dean: “Look, I-“

Gavin: “Just do what you need to do again. This is super important. Chris Dumont…not important. He needs to know that. People making their name against me….and in Australia! Just Dean…take care of it.”

Gavin smiles as Gavin places his hand on Dean’s shoulder, gives him a thumbs up, and then turns and heads over to Jenni as the scene cuts away.

David Striker vs. Asher Hayes

SCW Underground Championship

Phillips: “The following Underground Rules match is scheduled for one fall, and it is for the SCW Underground Championship!”

The opening chords of AFI's "I Hope You Suffer" starts to play as the video wall blazes to life with the violent and epic SCW history of David Striker, all of his epic highlights thus far in the company from his wars with Kimberly Williams to his fall from the top of the scaffold at RTG and then his insane return on Breakdown is shown as the man himself slowly walks out onto the entrance way.

Phillips: “Introducing first, the challenger, currently residing in South Town, Florida, he is The Dark Horse... David Striker!”

I got two letters from you
Last words of the runaway
Your love was written so true
And now I can't speak your name

I faced destruction and you
Just killed me and walked away
I gave my heart to the cruel
Now it will not beat again

As the song enters its first chorus David Striker heads down to the ring. David Striker continues to head to the ring, stoically focusing on the task ahead of him. Once he gets there, he wipes his feet off on the ring apron and slips into the ring.

No one will ever know you
Deny the last one who cares
Intoxicate with the new
Pretend I'm no longer there
I opened my heart to you
You lied just to reach inside
Now with the faith you removed
Our hope for forgiveness dies

David thumps his chest twice before raising it to the sky before quickly throwing his ring coat off. He then walks around the ring, awaiting his opponent.

Sharper: “David Striker won a fatal four way back at Retribution over Chris Lawler, Oskar Theron and Kimberly Williams to earn this opportunity here tonight, and he's spent the time between then and now trying to make sure Asher knows what kind of world he's stepping into.”

Knots: “This lunatic lit a table on fire just to try and intimidate Asher! He's a perfect example of why this title and the whole division should be retired again!”

Kayl: “Asher also cost him a match with Ryan LeCavalier this past Breakdown, depriving him of any momentum coming into this match. For a man as proud as David Striker, you know that's not going to sit well once the bell rings.”

The opening riff to "Song for the Dead" by Queens of the Stone Age kicks in. At the 37 second mark, the name "Asher Hayes" blares through the PA system, and Asher appears on the stage, wearing a long leather jacket, his face full of focus. The SCW Underground Title belt is around his waist. He bows down for a few moments before standing up straight, throwing both fists in the air, before making his way towards the ring.

Phillips: “His opponent, hailing from Chicago, Illinois, he is the SCW Underground Champion... Asher Hayes!”

“It's late enough to go driving
And see what's mine
Life's the study of dying
How to do it right"

He makes his way down the ramp as the reaction of the crowd rains down upon him. He walks up the ring steps and climbs to the top turnbuckle, lifting both fists into the air, slinging the jacket off his shoulders, simply looking at the crowd before dropping down and running to the opposite side.

“You're a holy roller
If you bettin' to lose
If you're hanging around
I'm holding the noose"

He stands, once again, on the top rope. His expression remains focused as he looks toward the ceiling, before dropping down, removing his jacket and handing the title belt to referee Steve Holinsworth, who proceeds to hold it high. The Underground Title logo flashes across the screen.

"Ah, ah, ah, ah
Ah, ah, ah, ah
Ah, ah, ah, ah
Ah, ah, ah, ah
Come a little bit closer
And get untied
In a hearse rolling over
Just a track in the line
Fuck it..."

Asher then leans into the corner, waiting for the match to begin.

Sharper: “Asher Hayes survived that big Underground Title turmoil some time back to become the champion, gaining two total reigns out of the match while Striker only earned one coming out of it.”

Kayl: “But you have to wonder where he goes from here. This is his first defense of the title, having put it on the back-burner to give Cid Turner everything he had in Cid's retirement match, but that night ultimately belonged to his friend.”

Knots: “Personally, I think the perfect next step would be handing that title to Mr. Delatosso so it can be put back into storage. Maybe he could even get a World Title opportunity as a thank you!”

Steve Hollinsworth signals for the bell as Asher and Striker circle one another. Asher motions towards the outside of the ring, as if suggesting for Striker to go hunting for weapons right out of the gate. Striker seems tempted by the suggestion, but decides against it so as not to give Asher a potential opening. Instead, Striker goes to boot Asher in the gut, but the longtime veteran catches his foot! Striker’s hopping up and down on one foot as Asher just smirks and shakes his head, so Striker responds with an enzuigiri! Asher, however, ducks it, letting Striker hit the mat before he transitions into a grounded hammerlock, kneeling on the small of Striker’s back and grinding away at him! Hollinsworth checks in with Striker, but he refuses to submit this early as he starts trying to get his feet under him.

Sharper: “Asher making this a wrestling match to start things off here, trying to wear down Striker early.”

Kayl: “Veteran instincts at work here. He knows Striker’s much younger and a lot more at home in this environment, so anything he can do to wear him down before the toys come out is to his benefit.”

Knots: “I mean, he gave this idiot the chance to break out the toys already and he didn’t take it!”

Striker manages to work his way back to his feet, but Asher still has the hammerlock applied. Striker throws a back elbow to try and free himself, but Asher doesn’t let go despite the blow. Striker connects with a second back elbow, but Asher still doesn’t release the hammerlock. Striker tries throwing one more back elbow, but Asher ducks this one and uses Striker’s momentum to scoop him up into a front powerslam on the hammerlocked arm! Striker quickly rolls out to the floor, clutching at his arm as Asher carefully climbs out after him. He rushes him, closing the distance with a running big boot, but Striker gets his arms up to try and block it, only for the arm Asher had been targeting to once again be the focal point as Asher’s boot drills Striker’s arm! Striker stumbles back against the steel steps, clutching at his arm, and Asher walks around him before grabbing that arm and slamming it down across the steel steps!

Sharper: “Asher working over that arm, taking his time before things escalate.”

Kayl: “Striker needs his arms for a good amount of his offense. Take away his dominant arm, and you force him to start fighting against his own instincts to fight back without hurting himself.”

Knots: “Knowing this lunatic, he’d probably be glad to hurt himself if he thinks it’ll keep a former World Champion down.”

Striker pulls himself away from the steps, clutching at his arm as he crawls along the ring skirt before reaching under it for anything. Asher moves around the steps again, measuring Striker as he slowly gets up to his knees. He runs at him, looking to smash Striker’s skull between his knee and the side of the ring apron, but Striker suddenly swings his good arm and whips the inside of Asher’s knee with a small leather strap! Asher staggers back, clutching at his knee and leaning against the barricade as Striker pulls himself back to his feet, and by the time Asher realizes this, Striker swings again and whips the strap right across Asher’s chest! The fans who witnessed it happen right in front of them groan at the impact as Striker pins Asher against the barricade and starts whipping his chest repeatedly with the strap, and while it’s clear he doesn’t have as much force behind it as he would if he were using his dominant hand, it’s still enough to turn Asher’s chest a bright, angry red and leave noticeable welts.

Sharper: “Striker finally introducing some weapons into this Underground Title match-”

Knots: “He’s literally whipping Asher like he owes him money!”

Kayl: “Look at Asher’s chest! Striker may not be using his dominant hand, but he’s still getting a lot of force behind that leather strap!”

Asher tries to pull himself away, clutching at his chest and gasping for breath as some of those shots caught him in the ribs, but Striker doesn’t let him go very far before he wraps the strap around Asher’s throat and starts choking him with it! The fans are buzzing as Striker tries to literally choke the life out of Asher as Steve Hollinsworth slides out of the ring and checks with Asher to see if he submits. Asher refuses, even trying to grab Hollinsworth’s shirt to give himself any leverage, but the referee manages to pull himself free as Striker uses the strap to pull Asher back into a sleeper suplex on the floor! Striker gets up to one knee, seeing Asher down and nodding to himself as he takes the opportunity to shake some feeling back into his arm. As Asher recovers, Striker starts digging around under the ring again before finding a kendo stick! Asher uses the barricade to pull himself to his feet, but he gives up his back to Striker, who cracks the kendo stick across Asher’s spine!

Sharper: “Kendo stick to the back and Asher’s long history of back issues is no secret to anybody.”

Kayl: “Working over the back is going to be Striker’s best chance to win this match, especially if the arm Asher was targeting starts giving him any more trouble.”

Asher cries out in pain from the kendo stick shot to the back, but Striker doesn’t let him try to recover as he grabs the leather strap again and whips him across the back now! Asher tries to move away as Striker tosses the leather strap into the ring before measuring him. As Asher turns, he goes to swing the kendo stick into Asher’s ribs, but Asher boots it away to save himself! Undeterred, Striker goes for a vertical swing, intending to smash the kendo stick between Asher’s eyes, but Asher catches him with a cross chop to the throat that makes him drop the kendo stick! Striker staggers away before rolling back into the ring, creating some space so he can catch his breath. Asher grits his teeth as he clutches at his back for a moment before he starts digging under the ring for a weapon, eventually finding a steel chair! The fans roar as he holds the chair high before tossing it into the ring and going digging again, pulling out a second chair that he tosses into the ring, followed by a third! The fans cheer louder and louder as Asher keeps pulling out chairs and tossing them into the ring, creating a huge pile in the center of the ring.

Sharper: “Just like he did on Breakdown to distract Striker and cost him against Ryan LeCavalier, Asher’s piling up chairs in the middle of the ring!”

Knots: “Last time he did this just to show Striker he knows exactly what kind of environment he’s in. This time, you know he’s got every intention of putting that pile of metal to good use!”

Asher throws one last steel chair into the ring, nodding that he feels that’s enough before he pulls himself up onto the apron. As he goes to climb back through the ropes, however, Striker has gotten back up to one knee and stuns him with an uppercut! Asher ends up stepping back out onto the apron as Striker steps out to join him, throwing a roundhouse kick that further stuns Asher as he clings to the top rope to keep from falling to the floor! He grabs Asher, perhaps thinking northern lights suplex on the apron, but Asher drives his elbow into the back of Striker’s head a few times to block this! Asher grabs the arm he worked over at the start of this match, but whatever he’s thinking is interrupted as Striker catches him in the chest with a thrust kick to create separation! Asher staggers back as Striker measures him before rushing in, but his own plans are thwarted now as Asher catches Striker by scooping him up onto his shoulders before using the momentum to abruptly spike him into the apron with a death valley driver! The fans are losing their minds as Asher drops to the floor, pacing around for a moment before he grabs Striker’s legs and pulls him off the apron into a powerbomb position. He pivots and runs along the ringside area before hurling Striker into the barricade with a huge running powerbomb!

Sharper: “Asher starting to turn up the intensity now!”

Kayl: “First the death valley driver that spiked Striker’s skull into the ring apron, and then that big powerbomb into the barricade!”

Knots: “Asher making sure Striker knows he’s aware of where he’s at by trying to put him in traction!”

Asher pulls an agonized Striker off the barricade and throws him to the floor before making the cover as Hollinsworth moves into position.

2!

Striker gets a shoulder up! Asher stares down at him for a moment before laughing a bit to himself. He starts pulling Striker back to his feet before moving to bounce his face off the announce table. As Striker stumbles away, Asher glances back in the ring at the pile of chairs he created before he grabs Striker and throws him back into the ring. He slides in after him before grabbing one of the chairs and unfolding it right in front of Striker. Striker starts trying to get back to his feet, but Asher grabs him and irish whips him into the ropes before sending him face-first into the seat of the unfolded chair with a drop toe hold! Striker tries to pull himself away, clutching at his mouth as it may have caught the edge of the chair, but Asher grabs his head and forces it back onto the seat before he starts driving his elbow repeatedly into the back of Striker’s head, smashing his face into the steel chair over and over again! Asher relents after a few moments of this, the fans buzzing as he backs up and measures Striker as he tries to pull himself off the chair, only for Asher to run in and blast him in the side of the skull with a running knee, driving Striker’s head into the side of the chair’s backrest!

Sharper: “Asher looking very comfortable right now here in the Underground as he’s got Striker reeling in a bad way!”

Knots: “I think that last shot may have busted him open!”

Kayl: “Striker needs to get something going and fast, or else Asher may be putting him to bed shortly.”

Asher looks out at the cheering fans, soaking it in for a moment as Striker tries to recover, revealing that he’s been lacerated after that last attack. Striker ends up crawling closer to the pile of chairs still in the center of the ring as Asher eyes him carefully. He goes to run off the ropes, perhaps thinking a running stomp into the pile of chairs, but Striker grabs the chair directly beneath him and throws it right at Asher’s face! Asher staggers back as Striker grabs the chairs he’s been battered against and folds it back up before driving it into Asher’s ribs! Asher doubles over, and Striker raises the chair high before slamming it down across Asher’s back! Asher drops to the mat as Striker drops to his knees, tossing the chair aside as he tries to get his bearings.

Sharper: “Striker managing to turn the tables-”

Knots: “More like chairs.”

Sharper: “-on Asher before his head could be crushed into that pile of steel.”

Kayl: “Striker desperately needed that to turn the tide of this match, but he’s been battered by Asher for the past few minutes.”

David slowly pulls himself to his feet, lifting his hand to his face and smearing some of the blood that’s been trickling from the laceration across his face before he pulls his blood-covered hand away, his icy gaze slowly drifting over to the corner where Asher has crawled towards to help pull himself back to his feet, wincing at the pain shooting through his back from that chair shot. Striker slowly tilts his head, almost akin to Michael Myers studying his prey as he absentmindedly kicks some of the piled chairs aside to clear a path. As Asher gets back to his feet, Striker suddenly explodes into a violent spear that drives Asher’s back hard into the turnbuckles, causing him to cry out in agony! Striker’s not done, though, as his arms wrap tightly around Asher’s torso before he launches him out of the corner with a massive overhead belly-to-belly suplex that sends Asher flying back-first into the chair pile!

Sharper: “Good God! Striker got some distance on that belly-to-belly as he practically hurled Asher Hayes right into his own pile of chairs!”

Kayl: “David Striker is in his element right now and it seems being busted open may have awoken his more violent tendencies!”

Knots: “All the more reason why this nutcase shouldn’t be allowed to wrestle these kinds of matches, let alone even have a job here!”

Striker gets back to his feet, briefly contemplating going for the cover as he takes a few steps towards Asher, but he changes his mind and instead leaves Asher to writhe in pain on the pile of chairs. He slides out to the floor and pulls up the ring skirt, searching around for a moment as the fans begin chanting for tables. Once he seems to find what he’s looking for, Striker drags what looks like a wooden door out from underneath the ring! The fans are on their feet, willing to accept this substitute for what they wanted as Striker slides the door back into the ring before sliding in after it. He takes a moment to get the door propped up in the nearest corner as Asher slowly starts pulling himself back to his feet. Once Striker’s got the door positioned right where he wants it, he turns to grab Asher, but Asher comes up swinging with a european uppercut! He rises and connects with a second one that causes Striker to stagger back towards the door, which Asher now takes note of. He runs off the ropes, perhaps thinking of trying to drive Striker through the door, but Striker suddenly catches Asher by scooping him up onto his shoulders, just as Asher did to him earlier! The fans are on their feet as Striker walks around the ring for a moment before letting out a furious yell as he charges full steam towards the corner and drives Asher through the door with a nasty corner death valley driver! The fans groan and cheer at the impact as Striker shoves the top half of the now-broken door aside and pulls Asher into a position to make the cover, hooking the leg. Hollinsworth finds a position where he can safely make the count as Striker nods along.

1!

2!

Asher Hayes kicks out! The fans roar even louder as Striker looks a little surprised.

Sharper: “Striker giving Asher a receipt for the earlier death valley driver, but instead of driving him into the apron, he drove him straight through a thick wooden door!”

Knots: “How the hell did that even get under the ring!? Someone’s missing a door and Mr. Delatosso clearly needs to fire this kleptomaniac!”

Striker glances at Steve Hollinsworth, who confirms his two count. Striker huffs as he takes a moment to process this development before pulling himself back to his feet, spitting some blood from his mouth onto the canvas. He walks over and grabs the leather strap from earlier, tightening it as Asher slowly rolls over onto his chest. Striker measures him before whipping him hard across the back with the strap! Asher cries out in pain before Striker whips him again, each subsequent whip of the leather strap growing more and more violent as the fans cheer louder with each one! Striker whips Asher across the back one final time before tossing the leather strap aside, moving to the corner as he kicks the pieces of the door aside while Asher slowly struggles to get up, his back covered in welts and bruises and even looks to be lacerated in one spot. Asher manages to just barely get to his feet, but it’s enough for Striker as he hops up onto the second turnbuckle before diving off, somersaulting over Asher and driving him face-first into the pile of chairs with the Black Meteor! Asher rolls off the pile as Striker is stunned for a moment from his own back landing on all those chairs, but he manages to crawl off the pile and onto Asher for the cover.

1!

2!

Asher gets his shoulder up! Striker looks frustrated now as he pushes Asher back down and tries another cover, this time making sure to hook the arm.

1!

2!

Asher gets his other shoulder up now!

Sharper: “David Striker has taken over this match, but not even the Black Meteor into that pile of chairs is enough to get Asher Hayes to relinquish the Underground Title just yet!”

Kayl: “We know that Asher’s a fighter, he’s shown it throughout his entire career, but you have to wonder how much more his body can endure, especially that bad back of his.”

Striker stares down at Asher, who is writing in pain at his feet. Striker smears some more of his own blood across his face before he drags Asher over to a nearby corner, bringing one of the steel chairs from the pile with him and placing it beneath the back of Asher’s head. He steps out onto the apron before climbing to the top turnbuckle, the fans buzzing in anticipation. Striker stands tall, looking down at Asher and even spitting some more blood from his mouth down onto Asher’s chest before he lets himself fall into the Viva la BAM, but Asher manages to roll out of the way and Striker’s falling headbutt only sees his face connecting with the steel chair! The fans roar as Asher grabs the ropes and slowly starts to pull himself back up, looking to be in agony as he clutches at his back. Striker also starts trying to pull himself to his feet, looking to be busted open even more now after his failed headbutt. Asher manages to grab the kendo stick to help steady himself before Striker turns around and Asher blasts him across the ribs with it! Striker grits his teeth, trying to absorb the shot, and Asher swings for a second blow to the ribs! Striker coughs before motioning for Asher to keep it coming.

Striker: “Is that the best you’ve got!?”

He spits some more of his blood at Asher, who responds with a vertical swing that cracks Striker right between the eyes this time! Striker is stunned, and it’s enough for Asher to toss the kendo stick over the top rope and out to the floor before he grabs Striker and plants him onto the steel chair with a side effect! Asher pauses, though, seeing the leather strap and grabbing it before he threads it in a way that when he completes the Dream Killer, the strap is not only giving him extra leverage on the anaconda vise to compensate for the agonizing pain shooting through his back, but also choking Striker as it’s been wrapped around his throat!

Sharper: “Dream Killer! Striker’s trapped in the Dream Killer!”

Kayl: “Asher using that leather strap Striker introduced at the very start of this match to compensate for the damage to his back!”

Knots: “Come on Asher! Choke this idiot out and put an end to this!”

Asher cranks back on the modified Dream Killer, trying to choke Striker out or rip his arm out of socket. Steve Hollinsworth checks in with Striker, but he manages to spit out a refusal as his legs wrap around the bottom rope, though this doesn’t grant him a rope break in Underground Rules. Striker instead uses it as leverage to turn around enough that he manages to catch Asher in the side of the head with a stiff palm thrust! Asher grits his teeth, trying to power through as he wrenches even more on the hold, but Striker connects with another palm strike that loosens his grip enough that it allows Striker to escape the hold and roll out to the floor! Asher slowly pulls himself back to his feet, tossing the leather strap aside. He takes a moment to try and stretch out his back, the look on his face making it clear how much pain he’s in as Striker slowly uses the announce desk to pull himself back to his feet. Asher slowly climbs out of the ring and goes to grab Striker, but Striker grabs Knots’s tablet monitor and cracks Asher in the skull with it!

Knots: “Hey! That’s not yours! Take Devon’s, you asshole!”

Striker shoots Knots a glare that gets him to shut up before he grabs Asher and starts hooking him for his version of the Shadowblade, but Asher manages to twist out of it before kneeing Striker in the gut! Asher proceeds to hammerlock Striker’s arm before setting him up for a hammerlock DDT of his own. He pauses and looks down at Striker for a moment.

Hayes: “Not letting you disrespect my friend, jackass!”

With that, Asher suddenly lifts Striker up before driving him into the mats at ringside with Cid Turner’s Sovereign Takeover! He doesn’t go for the cover, however, realizing far too late the damage he was going to do to his own back as adrenaline and pride took over. He grabs at the announce table, using it to try and pull himself back to his feet as he groans in agony from the pain running through his back as Striker remains laid out.

Sharper: “Asher! Taking a page out of Cid Turner’s playbook and planting Striker with the Sovereign Takeover!”

Knots: “That’s what Striker gets for trying to steal from one of his betters!”

Kayl: “I think Striker was trying to go for a move he means to pay homage to Kimberly Williams with, but it ended in disaster all the same! For Asher, too, after landing on that bad back once again!”

Asher manages to get back to his feet, taking a moment to try and work the pain out of his back once again as he also swipes Knots’s water bottle and dumps it on himself to clean off the blood that Striker spat on him. Striker can be seen reaching under the ring skirt, looking for anything to try and turn the tide before Asher’s on him once again. Asher moves over to grab him and start lifting him up, but Striker reveals a nightstick he found under the ring as he drives it into Asher’s ribs! This creates enough separation for Striker to drop the nightstick and hook Asher before planting him on the floor with the Monster Mash! Steve Hollinsworth slides out to the floor as Striker goes for the cover, getting a deep hook on the leg.

Asher gets his shoulder up again! The fans are on their feet as Striker wipes some blood out of his eyes, almost in disbelief now.

Sharper: “Asher Hayes refusing to stay down no matter what David Striker throws at him!”

Kayl: “That ‘never say die’ attitude has taken Asher far in his long career, but I’m almost afraid of what it’s going to push Striker to do to try and end this match.”

Striker glances at Steve Hollinsworth for a moment, the referee affirming his two count. Striker huffs before he slowly pulls Asher back to his feet and throws him back into the ring. He lifts the ring skirt and searches around for a moment before he pulls a table out from under the ring, to the delight of the fans! He slides the table into the ring before looking around once more, grabbing a small black bag. He sets it in the corner before he rolls back into the ring and starts to set the table up in front of the corner. Asher crawls towards the pile of chairs and slowly tries to get up, clutching at his neck and back as Striker finishes setting up the table and grabs the black bag, opening it up and pulling out a bottle of lighter fluid and a packet of matches!

Sharper: “You asked Devon, and I think we now know how far David’s willing to go to end this match!”

Kayl: “Like Asher did with the chairs, Striker lit a table on fire as a warning to Asher about what awaits him in the Underground. This is far from a warning, though!”

Knots: “Somebody get that away from this lunatic!”

Striker starts spraying the lighter fluid all over the table with a manic grin as the fans cheer louder and louder for what they might be about to get. Once the bottle’s been emptied, Striker goes to start trying to ignite one of the matches, but Asher throws a steel chair and catches him right in the face with it! Striker drops the matches as the fans boo a little bit, but this doesn’t deter Asher as he rounds the table and kicks the matches out of the ring before grabbing Striker. Striker, however, suddenly jumps up and tries to guide Asher through the table with the Yamato, but Asher manages to hook an arm around the top rope and Striker only sends himself through the table!

Sharper: “First Asher stops Striker from lighting that table on fire, then he blocks the Yamato as David puts himself through it!”

Kayl: “Asher trying to hold on and find any way he can to put Striker down and get out of here with the title!”

Striker slowly rolls out of the wreckage as Asher shoves the table halves aside, leaning in the corner as he still looks to be in agony. He’s nodding to himself, though, as we see Striker crawl towards the chair pile and grab one to use like a cane to help him back to his feet. He winces, trying to shake off going through the table and the blood he’s lost as he arms himself with the chair, but as he turns, Asher charges him and drives the chair into his face with the Dust to Dust, sending Striker landing neck and back-first into the pile of chairs! Asher shoves the chair aside and manages to pull Striker off the chair pile enough that he can properly pin his shoulders to the mat.

Steve Hollinsworth signals for the bell as "Song for the Dead" by Queens of the Stone Age hits again, the fans on their feet. Asher slowly rises to his knees but immediately clutches at his back, bending over even as Hollinsworth raises his arm.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, and STILL SCW Underground Champion… Asher Hayes!”

Sharper: “Asher Hayes manages to survive against a very game David Striker, proving that he does, indeed, deserve to be the Underground Champion!”

Kayl: “Give a lot of credit to Striker, though. He brought the fight to Asher and had him in deep trouble on several occasions, but Asher managed to tough it out and wear Striker down enough to land the killing blow with that Dust to Dust.”

Knots: “Hopefully that rung Striker’s bell enough that he wakes up and realizes he can do so much better than being a garbage wrestler. Maybe then I might actually show him some respect!”

Steve Hollinsworth hands Asher the Underground Title belt as he takes it and rolls out to the floor, leaning against the apron as he still looks to be in agony from all the damage done to his back. He looks into the ring to see Hollinsworth checking on Striker, who’s still down and out with the proverbial crimson mask staining his face. Asher nods as he hoists the Underground Title belt over his shoulder and slowly begins making his way around the ring to head to the back, nodding to himself now as the fans cheer for his victory.

We then cut to ringside to see Adam Sharper, Jonathan Knots, and Devon Kayl at the announce position.

Sharper: “Folks, next, we were supposed to see Meghan Strader defend her US Championship in an open challenge. That is not going to happen. Meghan Strader was unable to make the trip here to Australia.”

Knots: “What? The leader of a motorcycle gang had issues travelling across the Pacific?”

Sharper: “Turns out that she was stopped in the United States before getting on her flight. Other members of the Cowgirls from Hell were with her, but we understand that she was detained long enough that she was unable to travel in time.”

Knots: “How champion-like?”

Sharper: “Jon…”

Knots: “What? Just calling it like I see it! Act like a thug, get treated like one!”

Sharper: “Either way, there are rumours about what else the Cowgirls have been involved in outside of the wrestling business. Regardless, this is a story we’re all watching and we hope when we return stateside for Breakdown, we will have some answers and Meghan Strader will be back in action.”

Kayl: “For her sake you hope too. She’s wanted to hold this gold for a while. She’s wanted a good run. And now, that’s all in doubt. Especially as she’s been critical of Delatosso.”

Knots: “And I’m supposed to be sad how? Play stupid games! Win stupid prizes!”

The scene cuts away where we see Dean Black walking down the hallway as we hear his phone starting to go off. Dean stops and looks at his phone. He then answers it on speakerphone.

Black: “Hi Frank. I’m-“

Delatosso: “I know. I’m watching.”

Black: “You know this isn’t what I’m in for.”

Delatosso: “But with the players involved, it is. And unlike Gavin, I do pay you.”

Black sighs.

Black: “I don’t know what you see in him.”

Delatosso: “That’s why I’m the businessman and you aren’t. Dean…you want to keep your position, then you know this is the way forward. You know what you need to focus on tonight.”

Black just pauses. He then nods.

Delatosso: “Dean?”

Black: “Yeah…I’ll figure it out.”

Delatosso: “Good. I’ll keep working on things over here then.”

Black: “Yeah.”

The sound of the call dropping is heard as Black sighs. He then turns and walks off as the scene cuts away.

The Vision vs. Glimmer Sisters

SCW World Tag Team Championship

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is for the SCW World Tag Team Championships!”

The arena lights drop into an ominous crimson haze as the haunting intro of “Nothing Feels Right” by Ozzy Osbourne crawls through the sound system, thick with unease and anticipation. The crowd instantly responds with a wave of boos, and just as the first distorted riff growls to life, a spotlight ignites at the top of the ramp, illuminating The Vision: Melinda Braddock and Fiona Logan. Standing side by side, they strike an intimidating contrast. Melinda is a vision of smug superiority, her expression cool and contemptuous as she slowly steps forward, chin high and lips curled in a slight, self-satisfied smile. Draped in a gleaming black-and-gold jacket with high-fashion detailing, she moves like she’s walking a runway, not a wrestling ramp; each step deliberate, arrogant, like the crowd should be grateful to witness her existence. Beside her, Fiona Logan bursts into movement like a firecracker, all swagger and attitude. She twirls once with flair, throws her arms wide, and mouths off at the nearest fans with wild eyes and a devilish grin. Her ring gear shimmers under the strobe lights as she throws fake kisses to the crowd one second and flips them off the next. She leans over the barricade at one point, taunting a fan’s sign, pointing and laughing, then skips back toward her partner with a cocky shoulder bump. Trailing just a few steps behind them is Clyde Sutter, a looming figure in black with long, dark hair cascading over his shoulders. He tries to maintain an emotionless, unreadable expression, but it's hard to ignore the fact that he's still clutching at his ribs from his earlier Television Title bout. His eyes still scan the ring like a hawk, and while he never says a word, his presence alone demands silence. He’s the dark anchor to the chaos and vanity that is The Vision.

Phillips: “Introducing first, the challengers, being accompanied to the ring by Clyde Sutter, they are Melinda Braddock and Fiona Logan... The Vision!”

As the trio reaches the ring, Melinda glides up the steel steps slowly, wiping her boots with theatrical disdain before stepping through the ropes like she’s entering a palace. She pauses in the center of the ring, holding her arms out as if waiting for imaginary flowers to be thrown at her feet. Fiona leaps onto the apron, then climbs through the ropes with an over-the-top spin, landing on one knee and pointing to herself with a defiant smirk as the music’s chorus hits. She yells at the crowd, mocking them ruthlessly, and then she pounds her chest before popping back up to her feet. Clyde takes his place outside, arms folded, unmoved.

Sharper: “The Vision called their shot. They said they wanted first crack at whoever the World Tag Team Champions would be coming out of Retribution, and tonight, they get their wish.”

Knots: “That's how fate works, and these two are finally being rewarded!”

Kayl: “They did beat Hollywood back at Retribution while they were still riding high off of a non-title win over the former champions, but considering they lost to Colleen MacDonald and Scarlett Carsons a few weeks ago, I can't help but question if they're the team that belongs here... especially considering what they did to Scarlett earlier and the champions playing games with-”

???: “Oi mates! Enough with that garbage, yeah?”

The Vision's music fades as Devon is cut off and the Australian fans are roaring at the sound of one of their own. Melinda and Fiona turn their attention to the stage, looking annoyed at the interruption. After a moment, we see a rather large man practically bounce his way onto the stage, his hefty body somehow perfectly stuffed into a typical circus ringmaster's attire... with the exception of wearing nothing but a mesh shirt beneath the coat and his top hat being adorned with various sigils representing lust from the Ars Goetia. He grins, both at all the fans cheering for him and even those who are booing him because he knows there's some “censor-happy” Aussies in the crowd.

Lucian: “I'm sure many of you out there know me. For those who bloody don't, allow me to introduce myself, yeah? The name's Lucian Lurid! I'm the ringmaster of the most sinful and seductive show you'll ever see in your otherwise worthless bloody lives, Cirque du Sins! And tonight, I get to come back home to present you all with a real treat... something that will really make all those censor-happy bitches around here piss themselves, am I right!?”

Another roar from the fans outweighs any boos from those very people that Lucian just insulted, which gets him laughing before he looks down at The Vision in the ring.

Lucian: “I hope you two bitches down there are ready to get embarrassed by some REAL women! Because it's my bloody pleasure to introduce to all my Aussie mates this evening, your goddamn SCW tag team champions of the bloody f**king world! Gia! Gina! The Glimmer Sisters!”

“Tongue Twister” hits as multicolored strobe lights begin dancing along the stage in rhythm with the music. After a few seconds, we see Gia & Gina Glimmer strut their way out from behind Lucian, sashaying in a way that draws all eyes to their hips as they grin knowing full well what they're doing. Tonight, they've opted to not only wear black boots and their usual black chokers, but they're also wearing skimpy Australian flag thong bikinis, immediately drawing a mixed reaction with the cheers mostly outweighing the boos they know are coming from the more “protective” figures in the audience. The SCW world tag title belts also rest snugly around their sinful waists. The twins can't resist striking a very provocative pose that shows off their tantalizing curves as Lucian cackles like the mad clown he is at the show his top stars are putting on. He goes to give their asses a good luck spank, but Gia & Gina smack his hand away and roll their eyes before they get into their usual rhythm of dancing down to the ring while perfectly mirroring one another, leaving Lucian on the stage to watch them before he finally disappears to the back. The mirror routine breaks at a few points when they stop dancing to briefly interact with fans, with Gina happily antagonizing one of the more vocal fans against her sex appeal by kissing her palm and spanking her ample ass to let the fan know what they can do while Gia teases potentially removing her bikini top to flash her side of the crowd but sticks her tongue out and tells the excited fans to “blame both SCW and those censor-happy harlots” for the let down. Once they reach ringside they dance their way over to the hard cam side of the ring before pulling themselves onto the apron facing away from each other, where they press their butts together and slowly rise as they stick their tongues out and suggestively lick each finger, drawing excited cheers from all interested parties that clash with the boos they're otherwise getting from the Australian fans who really have a problem with everything about the twins. Once they're both fully upright, they mirror one another again as they lean back against the ropes, pushing out their chests for the fans' enjoyment before hooking their arms around the top rope and backflipping into the ring in sync. Once they're in the ring the strobe lights on the stage fade as they dance around the ring one more time, mirroring one another again, before meeting in the middle of the ring as a spotlight shines down on them. They sensually embrace, each lifting a leg up in a way that makes it seem like they're trying to wrap it around the other's body as they flip their hair before motioning for the camera to get a close-up of them as they grin and wink to the fans at home. The lights then completely cut out for a brief moment before coming back on as normal, the Glimmer Sisters separating and moving to their corner as they wait for the bell with a hungry look in their eyes. Referee Jennifer Cassidy carefully takes the World Tag Title belts from the twins, trying to ignore any comments they make towards her in the process, before she holds them high. The World Tag Title logo flashes across the screen.

Knots: “Well damn! The circus is in town, and it brought the whole bakery with them!”

Sharper: “The Glimmer Sisters regained the World Tag Titles from Xander Valentine and Selena Frost at Retribution, and this just feels like a continuation of their antics to rub it in everyone's faces and act like they're unstoppable.”

Knots: “They beat two of the best in SCW history, Adam! I think they've earned the right to gloat, especially if this is what it looks like!”

Kayl: “This is nothing new as far as these two are concerned. We know they're shameless and love flaunting what they've got, and ever since Retribution, they've been teasing the idea of using the Trios contract Gina has for something involving our backstage interviewer Destiny Page and her... friend, I guess, in Wendell. That's gotten under the skin of Dexter Grant, who Wendell's been a follower of since day one.”

Sharper: “There are a lot of combustible elements that could impact how this match plays out, and that's not even counting whether or not The Vision are prepared for whatever games the Glimmers may have planned for tonight.”

Both teams take a moment to discuss who’s going to be starting off, with Fiona practically demanding to start off for The Vision and Melinda smirking as she agrees and steps out onto the apron. The Glimmers, however, take their sweet time with figuring this out, with one of them even putting a foot up on the middle turnbuckle to stretch her long leg out a bit, to the delight of most of the fans. Her sister leans in and says something to her that the camera doesn’t catch before slowly dipping through the ropes, making a show out of flaunting her ass for the fans. Jennifer Cassidy signals for the bell to start, and Fiona takes advantage of the fact that Gia, we’ll assume, is still focused on trying to stretch and warm up to try and jump her right out of the gate. Gia, however, steps up onto the middle turnbuckle entirely before throwing herself back, catching Fiona right in the face with a flying ass attack! Fiona rolls to the other side of the ring and gets up to one knee, looking irate, as the Glimmers laugh and Gia smacks her ass before blowing Fiona a kiss.

Sharper: “The Glimmer Sisters already wasting no time in trying to get under The Vision’s skin with their antics.”

Kayl: “Melinda may want to be careful having Fiona in there. We’ve seen she’s got a bit of a temper and the Glimmers, in one form or another, have proven to be very skilled in riling people up and taking advantage.”

Knots: “A lot of attention is given to their looks, but these twins may be some of the craftiest wrestlers on the entire roster!”

Fiona gets back to her feet, running a hand along her face as she tries to keep her cool. She and Gia circle one another, but when they go to lock up, Gia ducks back to avoid it before moving over to the ropes, claiming she needs to adjust her attire as she starts messing with her bikini top. Gina moves over and starts messing with Gia’s thong, the fans cheering as they’re mesmerized by what’s going on as the twins intentionally drag this out. Fiona has enough of this and pushes past Jennifer Cassidy to attack, but Gia conveniently finishes adjusting at this point and sidesteps Fiona, leading to Gina grabbing her head and jumping off the apron to hangman her throat across the top rope! Fiona stumbles back right into an O’Connor roll from Gia!

1!

2!

As soon as Jennifer Cassidy’s hand hits the mat for the two count, Fiona kicks out! This propels Gia towards the ropes, where Gina tags herself in. Gia leans on the middle rope, ass up to taunt Fiona as she rises, and it allows Gina to slingshot herself into a flip over both the top rope and her sister into a hurricanrana that throws Fiona back towards her team’s corner! Gia fully steps out onto the apron now as she and Gina both pose for the fans. Fiona gets back up, looking absolutely furious, but Melinda stops her from rushing in again as they discuss something that helps calm Fiona down before she tags Melinda in.

Sharper: “Melinda tagging in now and she’s going to be much harder for the Glimmers to antagonize the way they’ve been doing to Fiona so far.”

Kayl: “Fiona is as straightforward as they come in that ring. Melinda, however? We know what kind of tacticians the Braddock family can be.”

Melinda and Gina both circle each other, with Gina grinning and taunting Melinda to try and draw her in prematurely. Melinda doesn’t bite, though, and eventually they both lock up. Melinda gets the upper hand with a headlock, wrenching on it as she starts dragging Gina over to a neutral corner, but she stops as we catch Gina’s hand starting to trail below the belt. Gina takes advantage and tries to back suplex her way out of the headlock, but Melinda manages to backflip through and land on her feet. Gina turns and Melinda catches her across the chest with a blistering knife edge chop! Gina staggers back into the corner as Melinda follows up with another hard chop across the chest. Recognizing the tactic, Gia quickly runs along the apron, reaching over the top rope and grabbing Melinda’s arm before she can deliver any more chops! Jennifer Cassidy tries to warn Gia to let go and return to her corner, but Gia refuses. Fiona, however, hops off the apron and runs around the ring, grabbing Gia by the ankles and yanking her off the apron, causing her chin to bounce off the apron! Fiona starts laying into Gia’s chin and jaw with stiff forearm strikes as she backs her up along the floor.

Sharper: “We saw The Vision try this tactic the last time they faced the Glimmers! Trying to create some sort of visual difference to keep them from switching!”

Knots: “Gia knew it and tried to save her sister, but now Fiona is all over her!”

As Fiona continues to batter Gia out on the floor, Melinda turns her attention back to Gina and connects with another stiff chop that echoes throughout the arena! While we see Gina’s chest starting to turn red, Gina also grabs Melinda’s arm this time to keep her from pulling away, moving to try and actually slip Melinda’s hand under her bikini top! This gets the fans roaring as Melinda tries to resist and pull away, including throwing a punch with her free hand, but Gina ducks it and crosses both of Melinda’s arms across her throat before using the turnbuckles as a springboard to flip into a unique straight jacket neckbreaker! She glances down at her chest, looking annoyed at how red it looks now, before turning her attention to Fiona on the outside, who now has Gia pinned against the barricade and is still hammering away on her. She rolls out of the ring and runs over, clubbing Fiona across the back of the head! The Glimmers check on one another as Fiona staggers away but quickly regains her bearings. She tries to charge at the twins, perhaps hoping to drive them both into or through the barricade with the Spear Fishing, but Gia jumps up to sit on the barricade and Gina backflips up onto it, her hands guiding Fiona into the barricade even as she tries to put on the brakes! This also leaves the Glimmers in a rather… provocative position on the barricade, which the fans are going nuts over, and they know it if their grins are any indication.

Knots: “Is it getting hot in here guys, or is this just how things are in Australia?”

Sharper: “More, um… unique maneuvers by the Glimmers to avoid disaster.”

Kayl: “They get you so caught up in things like this that it’s easy to forget that with their circus training, there’s probably plenty of moves only they could pull off that we’ve never seen yet.”

The Glimmers slowly pull themselves off the barricade, grabbing Fiona and just throwing her across the ringside area in front of the announce table, as if tossing her over to Clyde to collect as we see him carefully round the corner. They can’t resist mocking him over his aching ribs from his own match earlier, as if trying to goad him into attacking and getting The Vision disqualified, but he doesn’t take the bait, instead checking on Fiona. One of the Glimmers rolls into the ring as Melinda is back to her feet now, the other slowly climbing up onto the apron. Before Melinda goes to lock up, however, she points something out to Jennifer Cassidy, specifically the fact that the Glimmer before her is not the legal one, noting the fact that her jaw is all red from Fiona’s assault where the legal Glimmer’s chest was red from Melinda’s chops. At this, Jennifer Cassidy forces who we now know is Gia to leave the ring as she and Gina try to argue, but Melinda grabs Gina by the hair and throws her into the ring before running off the ropes and catching her with a running knee strike, intentionally aiming for the chest to not give the Glimmers a chance to regain their twin illusion! She goes for the cover, hooking the leg.

2!

Gina kicks out!

Sharper: “As much as the Glimmers have seemingly been in control since the bell rang, The Vision’s efforts have yielded a way to shut down their bread-and-butter tactic!”

Kayl: “It’s a step in the right direction, but Melinda and Fiona still need to keep their wits about them if they want to leave with the titles tonight.”

Knots: “As I’ve said before: you take away one Glimmer tactic, they’ve got a hundred more to fall back on if you’re not careful!”

Melinda pulls Gina back to her feet and drags her over to a neutral corner before lighting her up with yet another blistering knife edge chop across the chest, wanting to make sure her chest stays visibly red! Gina winces before Melinda uses the top rope for leverage as she starts peppering Gina’s chest with roundhouse kicks before just placing the sole of her boot against Gina’s throat and choking her! Jennifer Cassidy wastes no time in calling for a break.

4!

Melinda stops and moves to block Gina’s path towards her team’s corner, forcing her to walk along the ropes towards The Vision’s corner as she tries to catch her breath. Melinda goes to throw a roundhouse kick to the head, but Gina ducks in and tries to move around Melinda for a tag, but Melinda grabs her from behind in a rear waistlock! Gina tries to free herself, including sliding Melinda’s hand down to “accidentally” try pulling off her thong, but Melinda quickly fixes her grip before throwing Gina towards The Vision’s corner with a release german suplex! Gina tries to pull herself up in the corner, but Fiona has recovered and is back on the apron now as she grabs Gina from behind, choking her against the ropes while Melinda chats with Jennifer Cassidy to divert her attention!

Sharper: “The Vision now, taking full control of this match now that they’ve deprived the Glimmers of their signature strategy.”

Kayl: “As crafty and skilled as they are, the twins are so used to being able to switch without a legal tag that if you force them to have to play by the rules, it makes it hard to adjust to needing to actually fight your way to your team’s corner.”

Knots: “And Melinda and Fiona are clearly proving that if fate allows for the Glimmers to try and win by any means necessary, then they’re allowed the same luxury!”

Fiona stops choking Gina just as Melinda starts heading over to their corner. She and Fiona converse for a moment before Melinda tags Fiona in. Melinda pulls Gina towards the center of the ring and twists her around for a neckbreaker just as Fiona runs off the ropes and connects with the Spear Fishing, completing The Visionary! Melinda moves to try and block Gia as Fiona winces in pain from delivering a spear after her earlier attempts saw her crash into the barricade, but she’s fairly quick to make a cover, hooking the leg.

1!

2!

Instead of trying to run in and break up the pin, as Melinda anticipated, Gia instead springboards off the top rope, double stomping Melinda’s shoulders as an extra springboard before flipping into a senton across Fiona’s back to save her sister and their titles! The fans are on their feet as Gia gets back to her feet, only to use a matrix bridge to duck a roundhouse kick from Melinda! She contorts her way back to an upright position before clocking Melinda with a roundhouse kick of her own! Jennifer Cassidy tries to force Gia back to her corner as Melinda rolls out to the apron, but as Gia takes her time in doing this, the fans begin to boo quite loudly. Gia turns and can’t help but laugh as the camera angle changes to show the reason why: Dexter Grant is currently marching down the ramp, hands gripping the edges of his vest tightly as if he’s ready to pull it off and add himself to this match.

Sharper: “An impressive acrobatic display by Gia, I want to say, to save her twin and keep this match going!”

Knots: “But look who’s joining the party! It’s Mr. Anti-Social Media!”

Kayl: “We said earlier that the Glimmers had gotten under his skin with all this talk of using their Trios contract to do something with Wendell and Destiny. He seemed ready to throw down last Breakdown before The Vision cut him off, and we know he could care less about their title opportunity so long as he fulfills his own goals!”

Dexter makes it to the end of the ramp before he stops, his body moving as though he’s ready to just jump into the ring at any moment but he makes no move to do so right now. Clyde moves around the steel steps, as if to intercept Dexter if he even thinks about it, but Dexter only spares him a side eye before scoffing and keeping his focus on the action happening in the ring. By this point, Gia and Melinda have returned to their corners as Fiona has brought Gina to her feet, delivering some body shots to keep her dazed before she irish whips her into the ropes, catching her on the rebound with a spinebuster! Fiona looks to go for a cover, but pauses when she sees Dexter standing near ringside, glaring into the ring. She yells down to him, telling him to wait until she and Melinda are done becoming new champions, before she tags Melinda in. Fiona grabs Gina and plants her with a second spinebuster, holding her down so Melinda can deliver a springboard splash and complete the Fateful Vision! Melinda goes for the cover as Fiona watches Dexter carefully.

1!

2!

With Fiona wary of Dexter’s interference, Gia takes advantage by rushing into the ring and breaking up the pin with a split-legged leg drop across the back of Melinda’s head! By the time Fiona realizes and goes to attack Gia, she’s already rolled out to the floor and Jennifer Cassidy is forcing Fiona back to her corner as Gia returns to the apron.

Sharper: “The Vision still running Gina through the ringer, but Dexter’s presence out here clearly has them on edge.”

Knots: “Can you blame them, Adam? All of fate’s designs could be for naught if this nutjob decides to get involved, because the Glimmers keep the gold on a disqualification regardless of which way it goes!”

Melinda is able to recover first, grabbing Gina by the ankle to keep her from crawling towards the Glimmers’ corner and tagging her sister in. She drags her over to The Vision’s corner, briefly conversing about Dexter looming at ringside before Melinda tags Fiona in. Fiona grabs Gina in a rear waistlock, perhaps looking for her Oktoberfest series of german suplexes as Melinda measures her to maybe turn it into the Stairway to Heaven, but Gina grabs Fiona’s hands and starts using them to mess with her thong again, as if trying to make Fiona pull them down and expose her. Fiona quickly tries to adjust her grip, but Gina’s antics have severely thrown off the timing as Melinda throws a superkick, but Gina is able to slip down and out of Fiona’s grasp! Melinda just barely manages to stop herself from superkicking her own partner, but as she lowers her leg, Gina superkicks her in the back of the head, causing her to crack heads with Fiona!

Sharper: “Gina! Managing to fight her way out of disaster!”

Knots: “She found a way to throw off The Vision by risking indecent exposure!”

Kayl: “And here comes a very fresh Gia and this is The Vision’s worst nightmare right now!”

Just as Devon says that, Gina manages to roll and dives into a tag to Gia! Gia enters the ring as Melinda gets back to her feet, rubbing her head, and Gia runs at her and makes her Taste the Cake! The fans are roaring as Melinda rolls out to the floor and Gia looks to see that Fiona’s crawled over to sit in one of the neutral corners. Gia grins and spanks her ample ass before running over and crushing Fiona’s head with Dreaming of Dat Ass! She grabs Fiona by the hair and drags her to the center of the ring, making sure she’s on her knees. Gia looks out at Dexter, as if daring him to interfere, before she kisses two fingers and runs them along Fiona’s lips. She then runs off the ropes in front of Fiona and blasts her right in the mouth with the Kiss of Death! She goes for the cover, hooking the leg.

Melinda slides back into the ring and breaks the pin up in the nick of time!

Sharper: “Gia’s been standing on the apron almost all match and she’s causing The Vision all sorts of problems now that she’s finally in!”

Knots: “We saw her paying homage to ENIGMA on Breakdown, and that looked almost like an homage to James Evans! Gina’s Trios partners may not be around anymore, but Gia sure seems like she’s making sure they’re not forgotten!”

Gia gets back to her feet as Melinda grabs her from behind, but whatever she has in mind is thwarted as Gia thrusts her hips back to slam her ass into Melinda’s pelvis, forcing some separation before she backflips into a pele kick! Melinda falls back and tumbles through the ropes onto the apron as Gia pulls Fiona to her feet and irish whips her into the Glimmers’ corner before following in with a stinger splash, burying Fiona’s face in her ample chest as she does so! Gia manages to hold this high angle and keeps Fiona pinned in the corner, practically smothering her with her chest, but before Jennifer Cassidy can call for a break, Gina reaches in and spanks Gia’s ass, which the referee acknowledges as a legal tag. Gina enters the ring as Gia pulls herself off of Fiona and drops down to all fours, allowing Gina to use her as a platform to twist and drive her ass into Fiona’s face to complete the T&A! The twins pull Fiona out of the corner before Gina goes for the cover, with Jennifer Cassidy double-checking the red marks that have lingered to make sure the legal Glimmer is the one making the cover before she counts.

While the referee took that extra moment to make sure the legal Glimmer was, in fact, making the cover, Melinda used that moment to scale to the top turnbuckle, literally running along the top rope with ease before she leaps off with a dropkick for the Graceful Beauty, catching Gia on the chest with enough force to knock her back into the cover to break it up!

Sharper: “Melinda Braddock! Turning the top rope into a tightrope to save Fiona and their title hopes!”

Knots: “She’s trying to upstage the Glimmers at their own game! Maybe their ringmaster is backstage scouting her as we speak!”

Kayl: “I highly doubt Melinda would be interested in the kind of circus a man like Lucian Lurid runs, and we’ve seen enough of what the Glimmers can do to get an idea of how those shows go.”

Jennifer Cassidy tries to get Melinda out of the ring, but she grabs Fiona by the arm and drags her over to The Vision’s corner. Only then does she step out onto the apron, but she quickly tags herself in. She watches the Glimmers both rise, pinpointing Gia by the redness of her chin and jaw before she catches her right there with a superkick to send her tumbling out to the floor! She turns her attention to Gina, who catches her with a superkick of her own! Melinda is staggered but stays on her feet, and Gina really gets the crowd riled up as she grabs Melinda and pulls her into a deep, passionate kiss! Melinda frantically tries to pull away as Clyde finally stops watching Dexter like a hawk to angrily pound the apron, demanding that Jennifer Cassidy do something.

Sharper: “Gina Glimmer! With a liplock on Melinda Braddock!”

Kayl: “Words you never thought you’d have to say on broadcast.”

Knots: “And right in front of Melinda’s husband, too! He’s got a front row seat to this show!”

Melinda finally manages to shove Gina off of her, but this gives Gina the opening to swing for the fences with the Glimmer of Joy! Melinda, however, barely manages to duck the spin kick, grabbing Gina while she’s still off-balance and taking her to the mat for the Hashtag! Before she can get it fully applied, though, Gina manages to roll through and escape, but as they both get back to their feet, Melinda is quicker on the draw and surprises Gina with a reverse roundhouse kick! Gina falls to the mat as Melinda nods to herself, feeling the momentum even as the fans boo her. She steps out onto the apron and slowly climbs to the top turnbuckle, measuring Gina. As she gets herself steady, though, Gia pulls herself into the apron and also climbs to the top turnbuckle in her team’s corner before she starts walking along the top rope like a tightrope. By the time Melinda notices her, Gia’s breaking into a full sprint to pull off her own Graceful Beauty in the form of a frankensteiner that takes Melinda off the top rope and allows for enough distance for both women to avoid landing on Gina! The fans are roaring at the display as Gia pulls herself back to her feet, only to immediately be wiped out by the Logan’s Run from Fiona out of nowhere!

Sharper: “All four women are down after an unbelievable sequence of events!”

Kayl: “Whoever gets to their feet first is going to have the advantage as this match has turned into an absolute war!”

Knots: “But let’s not forget about Dexter hanging out at ringside here!”

As all four women slowly recover in the ring, we see Dexter finally start moving towards the ring. Clyde, however, quickly moves to intercept him, but the roar of the crowd directs his attention back towards the stage just in time for a still-bloody Scarlett Carsons to come flying in from out of nowhere and catch him with the GODMODE! The cheers turn into a mixed reaction as Scarlett slowly pulls herself back to her feet, stumbling a bit before Dexter catches her. The two of them lock eyes for a moment before Dexter nods to her. He steps around Clyde as he slowly begins to rise, turning right into the Unwanted Notification! This spins him around into Scarlett, who plants him with the G.P.T.!

Sharper: “Scarlett Carsons! Clyde and The Vision tried to take her out before the Television Title match earlier, and it ultimately cost the both of them!”

Kayl: “Scarlett’s come down for revenge and Dexter’s actually helping her!”

Knots: “I know Scarlett floated the idea on Breakdown, but I never thought I’d see the day Dexter would actually cooperate with somebody besides his lackey!”

In the ring, we see both Glimmers making it back to their feet with The Vision not that far behind them. Scarlett mounts Clyde out on the floor and hammers away at him as Dexter notices the Glimmers back up and moves to slide into the ring, only to slide back out to avoid Gia, based on the redness of her jawline, trying to stomp on him. The Glimmers both try to goad him into entering the ring, but Melinda and Fiona blast them both from behind! After checking to make sure which Glimmer is which based on their earlier assault, Fiona grabs Gia and throws her through the ropes on the adjacent side of the ring as Melinda positions Gina before they run off the ropes and connect with the Vision’s Run! Melinda goes for the cover.

Gia slides back into the ring and barely manages to dive in and break up the count, despite Fiona’s best efforts to stop her! Fiona slides out of the ring, grabbing Gia’s ankle as she does and pulling her out to the floor as the two of them begin to brawl now.

Sharper: “Dexter’s distraction almost cost the Glimmers their titles!”

Kayl: “If he and Scarlett are working together, I don’t know who they’d even want to win this match. Between the two of them, they hate everyone in this thing!”

As Gia and Fiona brawl out on the floor, we see Scarlett stand back up, satisfied at her assault on Clyde. She and Dexter seem to converse for a moment as Melinda pulls Gina up to her knees. Scarlett slowly pulls herself up onto the apron, which gets Jennifer Cassidy’s attention as she tries to stop her from interfering. This also gets Melinda’s attention as she realizes Scarlett’s presence and what’s happened to Clyde, and Melinda responds to this with a spinning back fist that knocks Scarlett down on the apron! Jennifer Cassidy kneels down to check on Scarlett considering she’s still bleeding and hurt from earlier as Melinda returns her attention to Gina, who’s now turned around to face her despite still being on her knees. Melinda leans down to grab her, but Gina suddenly spits a crimson mist right into Melinda’s eyes! Out on the floor, Fiona ducks a shot from Gia, the momentum causing her to spin around before Fiona tries to apply The Fiona Flatliner to keep Gia from saving her sister again! As Gia tries to fight to keep the hold from being fully applied, Dexter takes advantage of the referee’s distraction to move around the ring before he charges with the Clickbait, but Gia manages to slip free and drop down just in time as Dexter blasts Fiona with the move! Dexter doesn’t seem too bothered by this, but as he turns his attention to Gia, she also spits a crimson mist into his eyes!

Sharper: “Scarlett and Dexter trying to get involved and Fiona’s been taken out, but the Glimmers blinding both Dexter and Melinda with that tribute to ENIGMA’s Blood Moon!”

Knots: “Wait a minute… The Vision tried to make them both red to make it easy to tell them apart! I think they knew it might happen again!”

Gia and Gina exchange glances between the ropes before they start wiping the crimson substance along their chests and jawlines, covering up the red skin from The Vision’s earlier assault and making themselves look exactly identical once more! Gina runs towards the ropes, soaring through with a suicide dive that drives Dexter into the barricade! Gia, meanwhile, takes the opportunity to slide into the ring as Melinda slowly gets back to her feet, trying to clear her own vision. Gia suggestively licks each finger on her right hand, covering them in the crimson substance before she applies the Kinky Clown Foreplay on Melinda! Jennifer Cassidy’s attention finally returns to the match as Scarlett has pulled herself off the apron now to recover, glancing between the Glimmer in the ring and the one on the floor making sure Fiona stays down and finding herself unable to tell them apart! Melinda tries to fight off the substance-laced mandible claw as Gia leans in, practically laughing in her ear and gloating about how fate has betrayed The Vision yet again as she trips her to the mat, Melinda beginning to fade as Gia mounts her chest. Seeing that Melinda’s shoulders are down, Jennifer Cassidy drops down to make the count.

The referee calls for the bell as “Tongue Twister” hits again. Gia releases the Kinky Clown Foreplay and rolls out of the ring on the side where the announce desk is, meeting Gina who has also moved towards that side of the ring. We see Scarlett crawl into the ring as Dexter is not too far behind her, still working to wipe the crimson substance from his eyes.

Phillips: “Here are your winners, and STILL SCW World Tag Team Champions… The Glimmer Sisters!”

Knots: “The Vision were robbed yet again tonight!”

Sharper: “Karma coming back to bite them hard as Dexter and Scarlett’s interference opened the door for the Glimmers to find a way around The Vision’s efforts to tell them apart, leading to who I’m pretty sure was Gia putting Melinda down with the, um… Kinky Clown Foreplay, as they call that hold.”

Kayl: “Illegal tactics led to the illegal Glimmer stealing this one, but at the end of the day, Gia and Gina are still the World Tag Team Champions and, once again, barely anybody’s managed to find a way to truly outsmart them.”

Gia and Gina grab their World Tag Title belts from the timekeeper’s area and begin making their way through the crowd, holding the titles high as they laugh and mock everybody in the ring. Scarlett grabs Melinda and throws her through the ropes, where Clyde and Fiona slowly meet up with her as the entirety of The Vision look pissed that all of their opportunities tonight went up in smoke. Scarlett leans back against Dexter’s back as she eyes them warily while Dexter points and yells at the Glimmers to come back to the ring, but the twins have long since started ignoring him in favor of celebrating their victory with the surrounding fans by enticing all of them with their curves and seductive moves.

The scene opens up with a shot of an arm being held up in the air. It the switches to show a female arm, before cutting to show a different arm and then another and another as the camera pans out to show an artists rendering of past winner of the Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal, flashing between Ravyn Taylor, then Matt Hodges, before cutting to CHBK, and then Adam Allocco, and then Damian Angel.

The camera pans around to show a shot of James Exeter getting eliminated from the ring before showing Ace Marshall mockingly standing in the ring smirking, and then cutting to a shot of Katie Steward holding on for dear life, and Nicole Kinneck clutching the bottom rope. Shots of Syren superkicking another individual before showing Shaun Cruze and James Evans fighting in the ring, followed by a shot of Kelcey Wallace hitting the Perfect Fate on someone in the ring and following a shot of Shilo Valiant leaning against the ropes, before cutting to Jason Zero standing proudly in the middle of the ring.

The shot then abruptly cuts out to show flashing shots representing the many individuals on the SCW roster currently raising their arm in victory before the Taking Hold of the Flame logo comes up on the screen.

“Who will win?...

SCW presents…Taking Hold of the Flame, live on Sunday, June 14, 2026, only on pay per view…”

The scene fades to black.

Polly Playtime vs. Shaun Cruze

The arena lights shut off completely.  The crowd murmurs until Polly's voice can be heard saying:

"You want me to cut the crap?  My answer is that you need to cut yours."

The arena stays completely dark until up on the big screen Polly's infamous glowing angry green eyes make an appearance.  Most of the screen stays black, but her name fades in, in light purple "Polly Playtime".

An indistinct man's voice then says "Player Number One.  Game Over."

A coin can be heard dropping into a coin slot and a pulsating beat begins to play as light purple strobe lights light up on both sides of the stage.  "Too Much" by Dove Cameron begins as Dove immediately begins to sing the chorus, a figure emerges from the back and saunters to the center of the stage between the strobe lights.  The overhead arena lights return and we can see that the figure is dressed in a long black robe that covers all of her, including her head.  The hood drops back to reveal Polly not smiling or showing any hint of caring what others think of her.  She allows the vocals to continue until Dove hits the chorus for a second time.  The light purple strobe rights turn to point directly to the ring as Polly lets go of the robe that is cloaking her, revealing that she is wearing her black knee-high skirt, but also a very small strapless light purple top that hugs her mostly revealed upper body perfectly.  She then picks up the item that she had used to tie her black robe around her, that item being a small whip.

Wasting no more time, she walks with purpose down to the ring as her entrance music continues.  A lot of the crowd near ringside is gawking at her while some are booing.  Polly just ignores every single last one of them as once at ringside, she feels the mat with both of her hands and rubs them a bit before sneering and walking over to the nearest set of steel ring steps.  She walks up them and enters the ring.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall with a thirty minute time limit. First, on her way to the ring, from Panguitch, Utah, she is Polly Playtime!”

Once in the ring she runs the end of the whip around the canvas for a short bit before she chooses a corner of the ring and leans up against the ropes.  As her music subsides, Polly can be heard saying "I'm too much for you to handle.  Too much for ALL of you!  Always have been, always will be.  It's time you all see it."

The boos pick up.  Polly is acting as if they don't exist as she has all of the whip in her hands now once again.  She stays in her corner and waits for the bell to ring, fingering her whip, not even looking towards the entrance.

Sharper: “Polly Playtime may be finding out how hard everything is but she wanted this match. She wanted to prove herself. To remove all doubt and in the process, beat a hall of famer.”

Knots: “She just needs to trust herself. Dawn coming in…that’s not an indictment on her. It’s to give her the opportunity to get right. Delatosso is committed to her. She needs to recognize that.”

Kayl: “You’re trying to talk to someone who is both desperate and I’d say irrational. Everyone against her? No…at some point, she needs to get out of her own way. We know she has the talent.”

Sharper: “We’ll see what she can do against Cruze here.”

The opening rifts to ‘You know my name’ kicks in over the PA system, the arena all jumping to their feet in unison as a ‘Cruze’ chant starts to roll around the arena. After a few moment, the curtain parts, and Shaun Cruze steps through it, and onto the stage

Phillips: “Her opponent, currently on his way to the ring, hailing from Los Angeles, California, he is the Impact Player…Shaun Cruze!”

Shaun steps forwards and to the top of the ramp, looking out over his adoring fans, lifting his hands and applauding them as he also nods his gratitude. With a final smile, he starts to walk down to the ring, high fiving with the fans at ringside, and shaking hands. He stands smirking next to a fan who holds a banner saying ‘Come back Shaun’ before then running and sliding under the bottom rope. He walks to the middle of the ring, and holds out his arms, the noise level absolutely off the chart. He then walks to his corner, and turns, waiting for the start of the match.

Sharper: “Cruze ready to compete. He’s never shied from the challenge. That’s one reason he’s back in SCW. He wants that challenge. He wants to see what the next gen is capable of.”

Knots: “So Polly…show him right now! Show him tonight!”

Polly looks across from Shaun Cruze as Cruze stretches out. The bell sounds. Cruze steps out as Polly keeps her eye on Shaun and walks along the ropes. Cruze steps to the middle of the ring as Polly then turns and lunges at Cruze, going for his leg. She sweeps along the mat, Cruze pulling his leg away. She gets up and lunges for Cruze. Cruze blocks a double-leg takedown attempt and then grabs Polly and powers her up and slams her down with a gutwrench suplex. Polly rolls over and gets up and defiantly steps up and Cruze kicks her in the ribs. He pushes her into the ropes and fires her off. Polly bounces off and Cruze elbows her down. Polly rolls over to the ropes and holds her jaw, wincing a bit, and looking out, annoyed. She gets up to her feet. She then snaps at the official. Cruze comes over and pulls her away from the ropes.

Sharper: “Cruze not going to get into Polly’s own issues and he’s here to compete.”

Kayl: “He knows that Polly was hoping to knock him down a few pegs. To gain in the eyes of Frank and he’s coming to prevent that.”

Cruze then wrenches her arm. Polly grimaces and falls to a knee. She reaches up, trying to fight it off and Cruze wrenches the arm again. Polly falls again to a knee. Cruze then elbows her in the arm and throws her back. He goes for the early pin.

She then hits a drop toe hold, driving Cruze into the middle turnbuckle. Polly rolls over to the apron. Cruze starts to get up and tries to shake it off as Polly then slingshots into the ring and into a jawbreaker. Cruze falls back into the corner.

Sharper: “Playtime, going for the eyes. Going for the knee.”

Knots: “Just bending the rules. Who cares when she’s not gotten her opportunity under CHBK. She just has to realize that Frank Delatosso does have her best intentions in mind.”

Kayl: “Do you blame her for being annoyed? She’s untrusting of virtually anyone.”

Polly gets up and nails Cruze with a hard right and then another and another and another. Cruze then grabs Polly and spins her into the corner and knees her in the ribs once and then again. He then pulls her out and snapmares her out. She rolls over and gets up and Cruze kicks her in the ribs and hits a snap suplex. He floats over for the pin.

Kayl: “Cruze almost sending her an early message. I’m not the man to get into Delatosso’s good graces with.”

Playtime turns and moves to the ropes. Cruze walks over to her and pulls her away. He then scoops her up and slams her down. Polly turns and Cruze grabs her and pulls her up, but Polly reaches up and grabs Cruze by the head. She then backflips through and lands behind Cruze. Cruzes turns around and Polly hits a chick kick. Sharper: “Polly Playtime returning to the ring. Is she going to just take the countout?”

Knots: “She’s daring Cruze to come after her.”

Kayl: “Telling him to come in the ring. Keep fighting. Don’t run.”

Sharper: “Or demanding the respect of crawling to her.”

Polly remains in the middle of the ring as Cruze crawls to the ring. (7) He pulls up to his feet and then rolls into the ring. Polly runs over and stomps him in the chest. She then stomps him again and again and again. The crowd boos as Polly keeps stomping him. Hollinsworth asks for the break, but Polly moves then to a choke, using her foot.

Sharper: “There you have it. Right from her mouth.”

Knots: “She’s got a point.”

Sharper: “Shaun Cruze didn’t come to take her spot. He came to compete. To earn it. Delatosso was the one who wanted to fast-track him!”

Kayl: “Where is the official in getting Polly back?”

Knots: “Cruze would rather go up against a brick wall. Sound familiar, huh?”

Polly gets up and stomps him a few times and Cruze rolls over to the apron and then to the floor. He remains on his feet and Polly runs across the ring, bouncing off and hits a baseball slide. (1) Cruze falls back to his knees. Polly then gets up and backs up and extends his arms.

Sharper: “Who the hell is that?”

Knots: “Don’t ask me! Why are they out here now!”

Sharper: “Whoever it is has Polly’s attention. She’s been so on edge with everything and-“

Polly then looks at the figure and steps through.

Polly: “Now who’s screwing with him? Trying to make me fail again.”

Polly pushes back and turns around as the official steps up and sees the masked individual and Polly then turns and shoves past the referee only for Cruze to scoop her up and drive her down with the C5!

Sharper: “Polly refocusing. C5!”

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Shaun Cruze!”

Sharper: “Polly Playtime stunned again!”

Knots: “She just needs to focus…She had him!”

Kayl: “Regardless someone made sure that her focus was off. More tough love from Delatosso?”

Knots: “Don’t you start that? That’s lies and slander! He’s trying to help her!”

Kayl: “Well?”

Knots: “He’d want Cruze taken down a notch!”

Cruze looks around as Polly turns and rolls over, holding her head in pain. Cruze exits the ring and drops down to the floor. He starts to high-five ringside fans as he celebrates his win. Polly starts to get up and starts muttering to herself before then letting out a frustrated grunt. She turns and grabs Hollinsworth and throws him down and out of the ring. He falls to the ground. Polly staggers, holding her head as she turns as Cruze turns and moves back to the ring.

Polly: “Thought you didn’t need help! Thought you didn’t need the handouts. What the hell was that?”

Cruze looks at Polly hands on his hips. Polly turns and kicks the bottom rope and looks down.

Polly: “I’m not everyone’s game!”

Polly continues to let out her frustrations as Cruze looks on.

We open up to see a speedometer starting to climb as an engine revs. We cut to shots of a car speeding past several high-risers before we see the car turn and speed down another street. It continues to drive before we cut to closer up shots as the car weaves through some traffic and then turns down one street before continuing to drive at high speeds, tires squealing and screeching, before it takes another turn and then stops before we see a drone shot, showing the car arriving outside of Ford Field. It turns and starts to go down into a concrete tunnel, screeching through the tunnel and picking up speed before turning and we then see people running out of the way.

Voice: “Run! RUN!”

We see CHBK moving out of the way, along with Lucas Knight and Dean Black as we see the car then keep driving before crashing through a stage and banner with Rise to Greatness XXIII on it. The car finally comes to a stop. We then see reporters and photographers looking on before the window rolls down and we see Meghan Strader stick her head out.

Strader: “Sorry! Uh I got a bit carried away!”

CHBK just looks at her as the Rise to Greatness logo comes up on the screen. Sirens begin to be heard in the background.

Rise to Greatness XXIII

August 9, 2026

Detroit, Michigan

Fade to black.

Kimberly Williams vs. Dawn Lohan

The lights go out, except for a single spotlight at the top of the stage. The opening chords to “Patient Number 9” by Ozzy Osbourne begins to play.  A haunting voice is heard…

"Is there a way out of here?"
"Hey, how long you been here?"
"I wanna go home"
"Hey, hahaha"
"Hahaha"
"Excuse me, could you tell how to get out of here?"
"Hahaha"
"I want to go home"
"Hahaha"
"Mommy, mommy"

The song begins to rage full bore now. Suddenly the lights come back on and Kimberly Williams is standing at the top of the stage to a loud, mostly positive, reaction from the fans.  A sinister smirk is on her face as she ponders what she is about to do tonight.  She winks at the fans before going to point to the ring only to turn and point behind her. We then see Deanna Frost walk out from the back, holding her SCW Adrenaline Championship. The crowd cheers a bit more seeing her as Kim then runs over, hugging Deanna. Deanna looks a bit uncomfortable, before Kim turns and points to the ring. She then runs down to the ring. Deanna walks down after her.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall with a thirty minute time limit. First on her way to the ring, accompanied by the SCW Adrenaline Champion Deanna Frost, from Boston, Massachusetts, she is the Wild Card, Kimberly Williams!”

Kimberly then poses in the center of the ring to another loud reaction from the fans.  The music slowly dies down and Kimberly goes to a corner to await the start of the match. Deanna walks around the ring and goes to Kim’s corner.

Sharper: “Deanna Frost out here with Kimberly Williams. This was a last minute announcement. We expected Dawn Lohan to face Deanna Frost. Instead, CHBK stepping in and having Kimberly Williams face Dawn. They’ve gone after each other. Kim almost acting like Deanna’s protector.”

Knots: “Getting angry at others for Deanna being a doormat-“

Kayl: “Can you stop? You’ve been through a divorce.”

Knots: “Yeah, and I hate her. Deanna should take my lead.”

Sharper: “Regardless, distractions aside, Deanna is a proud champion. But it’s clear that the politics going on around everything is playing a role here.”

“Emptiness Machine” by Linkin Park echoes from the loud speaker. Dawn Lohan pushes her way through the curtain. She stands in front of the entrance way, she takes a moment to soak in the reaction from the crowd. As the music is coursing through the arena she knows she can't delay the inevitable. Deanna watches her.

Phillips: “Her opponent, from San Diego, California, she is Dawn Lohan!”

She slowly makes her down to the ring, all business. She makes her way to the ring steps. When she reaches the top of the steps, she walks along the apron. Grabbing the top rope she pulls back, using the momentum she propels herself forward over the top rope into the ring. She immediately springs up. She walks to the turnbuckle, stands on the middle turnbuckle soaking in the atmosphere. She hops off the turnbuckle and remains in the corner until the match gets underway.

Sharper: “Dawn Lohan, almost proud of herself at this point. She’s put a target on Deanna’s back. Kimberly Williams stepping up to almost protect her.”

Kayl: “Just don’t get this wrong – she doesn’t need protecting.”

Knots: “Yeah, she can be a doormat without her.”

Kayl: “Jon!”

Sharper: “This is separate from the issues with Deanna and Selena. This was CHBK throwing a wrench into Frank Delatosso’s plans. Making Dawn at least earn the shot.”

Kim looks at Dawn as Dawn just folds her arms in front of her. Kim then shrugs and runs at Dawn and Dawn gets her hands up only for Kim to nail her with a hard right and then another and another and another. The crowd roars as Dawn falls back to the ropes. Kim then nails her over and over and over again.

Sharper: “And Kim…”

Kayl: “That’s from Selena’s bag of tricks!”

Sharper: “The Frost’s Bite! And maybe sending a message there too! Kim as skilled as a technician as anyone!”

Dawn yells out as Kim locks in the hold. Kim pulls back as Dawn reaches around and manages to twist around. She then starts to push up on her feet. Sharper: “Dawn takes Kim over. Both landing on the mats. With a thud!”

Kayl: “Driving the air out of each other!”

Knots: “That’s how badly she wants it. This isn’t just that she’s blindly helping Delatosso. She wants to be Adrenaline Champion. She wants to strive for something. Unlike you Deanna!”

Sharper: “Stop it!”

Knots: “Why? Because I’m not bootlicking my ex-wife?”

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Kimberly Williams!”

Kim then moves Deanna over to look down at Dawn. Kim says something to her as Deanna just nods.

Sharper: “Kim focusing on Deanna, not her arm getting raised. And Dawn Lohan not successful tonight. What’s that going to mean for her goals? Delatosso’s goals?”

Kayl: “Playtime’s goals.”

Knots: “Nothing! Nothing! She was distracted! Deanna needed to distract Dawn!”

Sharper: “Dawn did it herself!”

Kim then turns and pulls away from Dawn. Deanna glances back before Kim turns her away. She then raises Deanna’s arm before smiling. Deanna looks around, a bit uneasy.

The Hubris logo comes up on the screen as “Who Will You Follow” by Evanescence plays before we see a still for Taylor vs. Frost vs. Syren vs. Nevado.

Sharper: “And from a personal fight, to one of the most high stakes matches in SCW history. Four individuals. World Title on the line. As personal a desire for all four to walk out champion!”

A recap video plays showing how the SCW World Championship match came to be.

Amelia Nevado vs. Syren vs. Selena Frost vs. Gavin Taylor

SCW World Championship

Phillips: “The following contest is your main event of the evening, scheduled for onefall and is a fatal fourway match with a sixty minute time limit for the SCW World Championship!

The SCW World Championship logo comes across the screen.

The lights in the arena plunge into darkness. A pulsing sound akin to a heartbeat plays out across the PA system as the fans cheer.

LEXY CHAPEL PRESENTS

The heartbeat gets faster before “Groupie” by Cassie Steele hits the PA system. After a few moments Syren comes through the curtain. Syren pauses on the stage, looking out at the fans cheering.

Sinfully Seductive
Captivatingly Corrupt
DARK FANTASY

Syren walks down the ramp. She jumps up onto the apron before climbing the turnbuckles on the outside and waving her hands to get the fans fired up. As the camera gets closer to her, she shouts at the camera before pointing out at the fans.

Phillips: “First, the challengers, representing LexyCorp International, hailing from Los Angeles, California, this is SYREN!”

Syren smiles before leaping over the top rope, dropping to her knees in the ring, posing with both her arms outstretched, palms facing up. Syren stands up and then takes off her ring jacket and hands it to a crew member. She climbs up on the middle rope, posing for a moment and then jumping back down and standing in her corner as her music fades out.

Sharper: “Syren earning this match by getting her contractually obligated rematch when Syren and Selena Frost beat Nevado and Taylor on Breakdown a couple of weeks ago.”

Knots: “Should’ve waited in line!”

Sharper: “Why? Delatosso was happy to move on. Syren getting her rematch. She was owed it, even more so after everything Gavin and his team did to screw her over at Retribution!”

“Victorious” by Skillet begins playing as the lights dim a bit. Slowly, Amelia Nevado makes her way onto the stage, putting herself front and center as she folds her hands in front of her, looking like a proper young lady as she looks somewhat solemnly down towards the ring, trying to block out the boos she's now receiving.

Phillips: “From Oxford, England, she is Amelia Nevado!”

After a moment of this, Amelia slowly unfolds her hands before she proceeds to head down to the ring, her look growing more determined and battle-ready the closer she gets. Once she reaches ringside, Amelia climbs the ring steps onto the apron, wiping her feet before stepping through the ropes. As the song goes into the chorus, Amelia gives a victorious fist pump, which only draws even more boos from the fans, as she takes a moment to soak in the lyrics before removing her robe and setting it in her corner. She begins a light warm-up in the corner as her music fades out.

Sharper: “Nevado earned this match at Retribution – defeating Braddock, Cruze, and Yilmaz.”

Knots: “She should have this shot herself!”

Kayl: “She could’ve asked to wait.”

Knots: “Why? Because she earned it! CHBK forcing others into this. Screwing her over. Not believing in her!”

BELIEVE IT... OR NOT!

"Thank You for Hating Me!" by Citizen Soldier plays throughout the arena, the SCW Universe deafening the song with their boos. The lights shift to dark purple and blue, filling the arena as snow is seen “falling” along the electronic floor and screens as, out from the back, walks the Snow Queen, Selena Frost, taking in the crowd of the SCW Universe with a smirk.

Phillips: “From Nome, Alaska by way of Manhattan, New York, she is the Snow Queen, Selena Frost!”

Slowly, Selena shifts her head, her sapphire eyes locked towards the ring as she turns to her side and lifts her front hand gracefully, extending it towards the ring, palm upward. With a lift of her front foot, she suddenly slams it down into the ground, causing a crack like ice to form and sprint down the ramp and towards the ring!

Lowering her arm, the Blue-Eyed Devil walks down the ramp, her steps leaving footprints in the “snow” under her feet. Reaching the ring, Selena goes up the steps and under the ropes to enter it. Once inside and in the center of the ring, she stands still, confident and powerful, as the lights form to make a massive blue and black snowflake under her and the purple and blue lights. Raising her hand back up, towards the audience, once again palm upright, a wicked smirk graces her lips. With a slam of her foot, Selena causes the snowflake at her feet to “crack” as the rampway did, the shards of ice streaking out to all four corners of the ring to shoot out purple streaks of light from the turnbuckle the lights return to normal. The boos continue to echo throughout the arena.

Sharper: “Arguably the most controversial addition to this match. Selena Frost stealing her ex-wife’s contract that she earned from the Shot of Adrenaline Tournament and forging it. Deanna claimed she didn’t-“

Knots: “So stop making accusations!”

Sharper: “We all know the truth Jon!”

Kayl: “Just how desperate, how pathetic can you get!”

The lights around the arena begin to flicker in red, white, and blue as "Fortunate Son" by CCR starts to play over the arena. "All Star" Gavin Taylor steps out from behind the curtain onto the top of the ramp, flanked by his All-Star Security of Jack and Karl Barker. As he stands in place, posing with his arms outstretched, the chorus of the song plays. The SCW World Championship is around Gavin’s waist.

Some folks are born made to wave the flag
Hoo, they're red, white and blue
And when the band plays "Hail to the chief"
Ooh, they point the cannon at you, Lord

It ain't me, it ain't me
I ain't no senator's son, son
It ain't me, it ain't me
I ain't no furtunate one, no

Phillips: “And finally, from Liberty, Pennsylvania, by way of Australia! He is the SCW World Champion, Gavin Taylor!”

Gavin begins to walk down the ramp with swagger, shaking hands of the men, kissing the hands of the women, and even patting a few kids on the head. He smirks as he gets to the ring, pulling himself to the apron. He hangs out off the ring while holding onto the top rope.

The song continues...

Some folks are born silver spoon in hand
Lord, don't they help themselves, Lord?
But when the taxman come to the door
Lord, the house lookin' like a rummage sale, yeah

Gavin pulls himself through the ropes and steps onto the second ropes on the opposite side of the ring from the ramp. He opens his jersey, sliding it off his shoulders as he stretches his arms out.

It ain't me, it ain't me
I ain't no millionaire's son, no, no
It ain't me, it ain't me
I ain't no fortunate one, no

Turning around, he bounces back off the ropes as he watches for his opponents. He takes off his title and hands it to Aaron Demitra. Demitra, the official for the match, takes the title and holds it over his head. He then hands it off.

Sharper: “Gavin Taylor, arriving in Australia, World Champion. Even trying to now claim he’s from here.”

Knots: “He’s Australia’s favourite wrestler!”

Kayl: “May be, but he’s annoying everyone. And he can Make SCW Gavin all he wants. He’s got a tall order here!”

Demitra calls for the bell. The crowd roars, although some boos come from the crowd as we see Dean Black walking down from the back. The cameras focus on him as he makes his long walk down, but just then, the crowd erupts, as we cut back to the ring as Syren runs over and grabs Gavin by the hair and nails him with a series of hard right hands, nailing him over and over and over again. Amelia watches as Selena rolls to the floor. Syren then runs Gavin across the ring, along the ropes and drives him face first into the top turnbuckle. Gavin staggers and turns around and Syren kicks him in the ribs and then throws him out of the ring. Gavin rolls over and Syren drops down. She then walks over and grabs him and pulls him up before turning and whipping him into the barricade. Gavin falls to his knees and down to the mats. Syren then heads over to him and grabs him, but just then, Selena runs over and nails Syren in the back with a steel chair. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “Syren all over Gavin! Syren making sure Gavin can’t get out of the block.”

Kayl: “She may have even seen Dean and realized we may be in for a repeat of Retribution. Dean was involved in preventing Mr. Black, his apparent cousin, from getting involved and-“

Sharper: “Selena! Selena with that damn chair!”

Syren falls over against the barricade. Selena then turns and swings and nails her again in the back. Syren falls down to the mats. She then crawls forward as the crowd ohs. Gavin crawls away. Selena then slams the chair into the back of Syren. Syren drops down to the mats. Selena then turns and goes to go after Gavin, but Dean Black steps up and obstructs. Selena smirks and then just backs up and nods. Syren starts to pull herself up, leaning against the announce table and Selena turns and swings, nailing her in the side of the head, sandwiching it against the announce table. Syren just drops as the crowd ohs.

Sharper: “Damn it! Right in front of us!”

Kayl: “She just drilled her in the side of the head!”

Knots: “Well Syren! Was it worth it?!”

Selena smirks as she then throws the chair down. She then looks at Syren and grabs her by the head, but just then, Amelia Nevado runs across the ring and then dives through the ropes and into Selena. Selena goes chest and ribs first into the announce table. She falls over as the crowd ohs.

Sharper: “And Nevado from behind! Selena! You still think she’s not worth being on this stage!”

Knots: “Yes! Go Amelia!”

Kayl: “What about Gavin?”

Knots: “Gavin’s okay for now. Get rid of Selena so we can get the match we should’ve had!”

Amelia pulls herself up. Selena holds her ribs and Amelia grabs her and nails her with a European uppercut. Selena spins around and onto the apron. Selena rolls back into the ring. Amelia slides in after. Selena gets up and turns and Amelia drills her with another European uppercut. Selena falls back into the ropes. Amelia grabs Selena and whips her across the ring. Selena bounces off and Amelia hits a judo-like hip throw. She then moves into an anaconda vice, but Selena moves quickly to the ropes. She then hooks the bottom rope with her feet.
