“Supreme Championship Wrestling...”

A shot of Kelcey Wallace nailing Bree Lancaster with the Perfect Ending, followed by a shot of Steve Griffin hitting the Decimator off the top rope on CHBK at the first Rise to Greatness, before turning a shot of Jake Starr pumping up the crowd on his way to the ring, before turning into a shot of Ravyn Taylor sitting in the corner, waiting for the start of a match. We then see a shot of Katie Steward holding the Women’s Championship before cutting to a shot of Selena Frost hitting Vixen Cain with the Defying Gravity at Supreme Saturday: Just Desserts.

“The leading force in sports and entertainment today....”

MAIN SHOW:

We open up with a shot of Owen Cruze standing in the ring, looking down, before cutting to quick shots of him attacking Adam Allocco with the SCW World Championship. We cut to a shot of the SCW World Championship, covered in Allocco’s blood. We cut to Adam Allocco backing from the ring, blooding coming down his face.

Owen: “You! You’re why Alistaire’s done! You ruined EVERYTHING for him! EVERYTHING!”

We cut to see shots of Allocco smiling as he then celebrates with the SCW World Championship at Rise to Greatness, interspersed with shots of him standing in Taking Hold of the Flame posing, before cutting to shots of him with Alistaire Allocco backstage. This shifts to shots of Owen Cruze and Alistaire Allocco talking backstage, before showing them in the ring together, and then showing them fighting, before cutting to Alistaire in the ring, holding the SCW World Championship. This morphs into a shot of Adam Allocco holding the title before showing him getting chokeslammed by Xander Valentine.

Owen: “YOU SON OF A BITCH!”

We cut to Owen Cruze looking at Adam Allocco as Allocco backs up the rampway. Officials try to stop him, but he stumbles up to his feet and staggers off. Owen Cruze looks on the camera cuts to the SCW World Championship, covered in Allocco’s blood. The camera remains on it for a few moments longer before the scene cuts away.

The Retribution logo comes up on the screen as “Welcome to the Chaos” by Fame on Fire (featuring Spencer Charnas) plays.

“Supreme Championship Wrestling presents…Retribution 2023!”

The logo remains on the screen for a few moments before we cut to the inside of the AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas. The crowd roars as pyro shoots up the rampway and to the stage before shooting high into the air. The display continues for a few moments before spotlights circle the stadium. The cameras pan across the stadium, showing fans cheering, some holding fans, and others just looking around in awe.

Sharper: “We are in Dallas, Texas, and Retribution is a dish best served hot tonight!”

The cameras continue to pan across the crowd, briefly showing a shot of the steel cage hanging over the ring, before cutting to ringside where Adam Sharper and Jonathan Knots are seated.

Sharper: “Hello again everyone. Adam Sharper here with Jonathan Knots. We are here at ringside to call the action, on a night where Adam Allocco and Owen Cruze will clash for the SCW World Championship!”

Knots: “And we’ll see who will survive. But that’s just one of four titles on the line tonight. Including the Tag Titles, the Adrenaline Titles and the US Championship.”

Sharper: “We’ll also see Syren and Xander Valentine meet in one on one action in a match that has gotten increasingly personal. And Datura and James Evans will meet inside a steel cage!”

Aisling vs. The One vs. Hairless Penguin vs. Bree Lancaster

SCW Adrenaline Championship

The bell sounds. Jason Phillips stands in the middle of the ring.

Phillips: “Fans, your opening contest is a fatal four way elimination match for the SCW Adrenaline Championship. In addition, the order of elimination will determine the contendership to the SCW World Tag Team Championship!”

The SCW Adrenaline Championship logo comes across the screen.

Sharper: “Well that is new. Not only will the Adrenaline Title be on the line, so will an opportunity that affects people’s partners too!”

The arena goes dark, and slowly smoke begins to rise from the entry way.  "Battle Cry" by Little V begins to play over the PA system...

I hear the Battle Cry

Under the Devil's Sky
The One Winged Angel Screams
It fuels my Hopes and Dreams
The Best Bout Machine

ARE YOU READY FOR THIS?

With the stinger of the song hitting, an explosion and pyrotechnics hit, cuing the spotlights to hit, and standing in the entry way is The One with her back turned to the audience, head down, and her right hand up in the air with the number one in the air. She turns at the waist, looking directly at the ring, and slowly lowers her hand, finger still extended, to point to her destination.  She fully turns and begins her walk to the ring, quickly, but methodically, occasionally slowly down to look around, not necessarily trusting anyone around her to not come rush her and attack her.

Phillips: “First, from Your Worst Personal Nightmare, she is The One!”

As she reaches the ring, she again looks over both shoulders, taking glimpses of the fans, and assuring her safety before entering.  She makes a full lap of the ring, walking, and staring at everyone at ringside, and occasionally looking toward the upper decks.  As she feels the situation is comfortable and safe, she walks to the corner facing the ramp, extending both hands and pointing with one finger toward the entryway, and then turning both palms up and making the motion with both hands to "bring it."  She then slumps into the corner, sitting on the mat, and awaiting her opponent to enter the ring.

Sharper: “The One on her way to the ring. She’s here both to attain gold, but now with this extra wrinkle even more.”

Knots: “And not just that, she wants Hairless Penguin. She’s doing this to make sure Pro can do as she wishes against Dancing Bear!”

A coin can be heard dropping into a coin slot and then the words “START GAME” show up on SCW’s Jumbotron.  A bunch of girls can be heard giggling before “C’est La Vie” by B*Witched begins to play. The crowd boos.

The music plays for quite some time and it is not until it comes to the first chorus that Aisling walks out from the back, arms outstretches, smiling. She looks around and points to herself and turns around. Colleen and Polly Playtime walk out after her. Aisling leads the trio to the ring as they head down the lengthy entrance way. Polly Playtime looks around the arena as Colleen just glares at fans. Aisling smiles and jogs down a bit before stopping and then slowing down and heading to the ring.

Phillips: “Next, from Panguitch, Utah, accompanied by Colleen and Plly Playtime, she is Aisling!”

The crowd boos some more as Aisling runs over to the ring and hops onto the apron. She then looks around and smiles before slingshotting herself into the ring. Colleen leans on the apron and threatens The One. The One just snaps back at her. Polly climbs onto the apron as Aisling runs to the corner and poses on the turnbuckle. She looks around before hopping down.

Sharper: “Aisling getting the spotlight tonight. Rare for her, but a big opportunity.”

Knots: “Could be the hero for the Playgirls Three in more ways than one.”

Sharper: “Not only that, but hoping to be the second member of the Playgirls to hold SCW gold.”

The crowd roars as jaunty and generic royalty free music begins to play throughout the arena. On the big screen, a unicorn gallops across a beautiful, flowery field, leaving petals exploding into the air underneath its hooves. It gets closer to the camera as it prepares to fly off, but not before evacuating its bowels, which take the form of letters in a bubble font, reading:

Lexy Chapel Presents

HAPPY FARMSTEAD FRIENDS

Hairless Penguin, clad in his mask and a black and white suit. He holds a moderately priced steel string guitar held over his shoulder. He looks around and The One smirks at him. Hairless Penguin stretches a bit before glancing back as Lexy Chapel now jogs out from the back and points at him. Penguin looks at her as Chapel starts to lead Penguin to the ring. Penguin just walks down to the ring, more focused than usual. He just focuses on the ring, mostly, taking brief pauses to look around the AT&T Stadium.

Phillips: “Next, accompanied by Lexy Chapel, from the Happy Farmstead, representing LexyCorp, Lexy Chapel presents The Hairless Penguin!”

Penguin mostly just carries his guitar, not playing it as he usually does. He walks over to the ring as Chapel yells at the Playgirls and then to The One before pointing to Penguin. Hairless Penguin makes his way up the steps and into the ring, holding his guitar into the air. Lexy takes her place on the outside of the ring, searching for the nearest child to remind them to tell their parents to buy some Happy Farmstead Friends merchandise. Hairless Penguin hands his guitar off to the timekeeper before taking his place in the corner. He looks across at The One who starts to stretch out, ready to fight.

Sharper: “Lexy Chapel out with Hairless Penguin. Penguin focusing on The One.”

Knots: “Penguin has shown he can take a beating. He’s faced others who want to take him out.”

Sharper: “And this just different with high stakes and a few other variables, including the SCW Adrenaline Champion, who is about to join us!”

The lights dim slightly as a male voice speaks:

“When's the last time you were afraid?”
“I haven't been afraid a day in my life.”

The music and chorus of Shinedown's “Dead Don't Die” kicks in, with white strobe lights flashing in time. Bree Lancaster runs out from the curtain, arms spread wide, hands facing up, and a smile on her face. The SCW Adrenaline Championship is around her waist.

{The dead don't die, the heart still beats
Head held high, I haunt these streets
Life's killed me a hundred thousand times
You can try, you can try, but the dead don't die}

Bree makes her way down the ramp, confidence in her step as she speaks to a fan or two on the way.

{Knock me down six feet deep
One more round, no reprieve
Life's killed me a hundred thousand times
You can try, you can try, but the dead don't die}

Phillips: “And finally, from New Orleans, Louisiana, she is the SCW Adrenaline Champion, Bree Lancaster!”

Bree sprints up the ring steps, quickly wipes her feet on the apron then steps through the ropes. She does a spin in the center of the ring, arms spread out like before, drawing cheers. She thenb stops and looks around at her three competitors. She then looks around before turning and unclipping her title. She hands it off to the official, Steve Hollinsworth. She then backs up to her corner and looks at Penguin, Aisling and The One. The music fades and the lights return to normal.

Sharper: “Bree Lancaster looking to make her second successful defense. But not only that, Datura and her have been delayed in formally starting their tag team. A win tonight and they jump to the front of the line.”

Knots: “Yeah. Talk about an added bit of oomph and motivation. And Bree Lancaster is going to have to focus on retaining her title first and foremost.”

Sharper: “And needing to outlast everyone. Elimination rules. A four way dance.”

Hollinsworth holds the title over his head. He steps to the side and hands off the title. He turns back as the crowd roars. He then calls for the bell. The bell sounds. Hairless Penguin then looks across as The One runs at him and Penguin’s eyes widen and exits the ring. The One heads after him. In the ring, Bree steps up as Aisling runs at her and nails her with a forearm shot and then another and another. She then grabs Bree and pulls her out and goes to whip her across the ring. Bree runs into the ropes and Aisling goes for a jumping crescent kick, looking to eliminate the champion quick. Bree ducks and spins around. Aisling turns and Bree forearms her in the jaw. The One and Hairless Penguin run around the ring, the Playgirls and Chapel stepping back. Bree forearms Aisling again and then pushes her into the corner. She whips her across the ring and Hairless Penguin rolls into the ring. He gets up and runs past Bree. The One slides in and runs forward, but Bree hits the BOGO.

Sharper: “The One caught by Bree! Bree with the BOGO!”

Knots: “And a cover!”

Lancaster drops down for the pin.

The crowd ohs as The One hits the announce table as Penguin hits the mat. Aisling then jumps up and locks in the tarantula!

Phillips: “The One and Aisling have both been eliminated. Here is your winner, via pinfall, and still SCW Adrenaline Champion, Bree Lancaster!”

The crowd cheers.

Sharper: “Bree has won. She’s still Adrenaline Champion. Bree and Datura are also the number one contenders to the SCW World Tag Team Championship!”

Knots: “But who’s next! Aisling and The One were pinned at the same time!”

Sharper: “And that’s what Polly Playtime and Colleen are talking about. They’re getting in Phillips’s face and Steve Hollinsworth’s too.”

Polly and Colleen both start to talk to Hollinsworth and Phillips. Bree Lancaster slowly gets up, having been handed her Adrenaline Championship before this. She holds it up and smiles before looking at the title. She then starts to celebrate as The One and Aisling both stir.

Sharper: “Let’s go backstage where Jessica Winters is standing by with our challenger to the SCW World Championship.”

Backstage, the scene opens up with Jessica Winters standing outside of the locker room of Adam Allocco.

Winters: “Thanks Adam. Unfortunately, at this point, I’ve not yet gotten able to talk to him. He won’t answer the door. Of course, looming over this World Championship match is the revelation that Adam Allocco was behind the vehicular assault that put Alistaire Allocco, his son on the shelf. A result of his drinking and-“

We then see the door open and Allocco steps out, a bit frantic, clearly trying to cut Jessica off.

Allocco: “Whoa! Whoa…wait…I’m not going to let this distract from things tonight. Tonight, look, I’ve done terrible things and you know what. Okay, maybe I may have done it. I…look, I’m focusing on the World Championship tonight. I’m going to give that title the respect it deserves. I’m going to try and be a better person and tonight, I’m focusing on winning that title back and then, then I’ll talk about it. I’m trying to make amends and if I know one thing about my son Alistaire, he would want this World Championship match to be about the World Championship. So there! Now! I need to prepare!”

Allocco turns and looks back before gritting his teeth, as if trying to stop himself from saying anything more. He then closes his eyes and storms into his locker room. The crowd boos as the door slams shut. Jessica Winters looks at the door stunned before turning back to the camera.

Winters: “Oh Adam…I didn’t think you could get any worse and I’ve known you for years…Back to ringside, I guess…”

Jessica Winters shakes her head.

Willow Aspen vs. Glory Braddock

SCW Television Championship

The first chords of "Immortal" by Ozzy Osbourne begins to play over the PA system...

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a fifteen minute time limit. First, from London, England, she is The British Bombshell, the SCW Television Champion, Glory Braddock!”

Glory Braddock steps out onto the stage, wearing her ring gear consisting of purple spandex pants, boots, and a purple top. The SCW Television Championship sits around her waist. She really does look like a million bucks and grins from ear to ear, gazing out at the crowd for a moment before making her way down the entrance ramp.

I come alive at the second of midnight
So I can fly when the world is asleep
You scream and howl as I'm taking the first bite
Blood on my tongue tastes of eternity

People will come and go
Some stories never told
They bury me down below
But I'll never die
'Cause I'm immortal
Yes, immortal

The British Bombshell steps up the steel steps and then onto the ring apron. She poses momentarily on the apron, allowing people to take snapshots before stepping through the ropes and into the ring.  Once in the ring Glory heads to the center of the ring and poses once more. Then the music dies down slowly...

Sharper: “The reigning Television Champion about to face a different challenge. Tonight, facing an up and comer.”

Knots: “Yeah. This was just about getting a match here, but also Aspen stepping up and calling her out. Aspen has shown she just doesn’t care. She’ll step up to anyone.”

THE WORLD

DOES NOT

BELONG TO YOU

IT BELONGS TO ME…

The chant plays out over the crowd, echoing as it leads around to the beginning guitar of “And So It Went” by The Pretty Reckless begins to play out. As the song kicks in, Willow Aspen steps out onto the stage clad in her ring-gear and what could only be described as a “Dragon-scale trenchcoat” overtop. She continues down the ramp, glancing out at the crowd around her as she strides.

Phillips: “Her opponent, from a Cabin in the Woods, she is Willow Aspen!”

Once in the ring, she poses in the middle of the ring before undoing her jacket, sliding it down her shoulders into her hands, handing it through the ropes to the ringside attendant. She begins pulling on the ropes in preparation of the match and her opponent. We then see Glory pointing at the TV Championship and then to Willow. Willow shrugs and Glory turns and hands the title to the official. She talks to them and the official holds the title over their head.

Sharper: “Glory offering to put the TV Title on the line it looks like.”

Knots: “And Willow was game. The official holding up the title!”

Braddock and Willow tie up in the center of the ring.  Glory goes into a hammerlock.  Willow breaks it with an elbow to the face.  Willow with a vaulting dropkick and then a high angled jumping knee.  She whips Braddock into the corner.  Willow comes rushing in but Glory gets her foot up driving it into her face.  Braddock hops up onto the second rope and comes off with Prankster’s Paradise.  Willow rolls to the outside to break up the momentum.  The British Bombshell doesn’t let up.  She flies over the top with a plancha, taking Willow down.  Braddock goes walking in after her but Willow gets a drop toe hold, driving Glory face first onto the steel steps.

Sharper: “Hard into the steps. Willow Aspen quickly doing some serious damage to the champion.”

Knots: “Yeah and that’s not what Glory was thinking she’d be dealing with in this one.”

Willow pulls Braddock up and rolls her back into the ring.  Willow with a double stomp.  Willow applies a rear chin lock.  Glory fights back to her feet.  Willow switches to a side headlock.  Braddock breaks it with elbows to the gut.  Glory hits the ropes and Willow catches her with a deep arm drag into an arm bar.  Again Braddock fights back to her feet.  Willow switches into a hammerlock.  Glory eventually counters into a hammerlock of her own.  Willow counters back only this time into a crossface chicken wing.

Sharper: “And now trying to make Braddock tap.”

Knots: “She’s beating Braddock at her own game!”

Braddock struggles in the hold but won’t give up.  Willow tightens the grip.  Glory then gets close enough to the corner so she can climb up the turnbuckles and then fall back onto Willow, forcing a break.  Braddock rises to her feet but is dropping by a vaulting dropkick.  Willow with a headlock backbreaker.  Willow then climbs to the top rope and comes off with Death From Above!  The cover…

2…Kickout!

Sharper: “And only two!”

Knots: “Willow Aspen is kicking ass. Glory Braddock is struggling!”

Willow goes up to the top again.  She waits as Glory pulls herself back up.  Willow flies off, attempting a hurricinrana and connects.  Willow goes a high knee but Braddock ducks out of the way.  Glory connects with Gloria In Excelsis Deo, stunning Willow.  Braddock uses the ropes to pull herself up to her feet.  Willow is back to her feet.  Braddock with her cousin’s superkick, The Kaylan Wind Kick, followed by her cousin’s Stubborn Bitch kick to the back of the head.  Braddock immediately goes to lock in a leg grapevine.

Sharper: “And Braddock now trying to go for the leg. Going for the leg.”

Knots: “And now maybe sharing some free lessons about technical wrestling!”

Willow struggles in the hold but won’t give in.  She eventually reaches the ropes, forcing a break.  Braddock takes Willow and snaps off a dragon screw.  Then she turns Willow over into the London Bridge, her version of a Boston Crab.  Again Willow is tested but she manages to reach the ropes, forcing a break.  Glory drags Willow back to the center of the ring and attempts to apply Glorify Thy Name but Willow counters with a small package…

2…

…3NO! Glory kicks out!

Braddock pops back up, as does Willow.  Glory goes for a scissors kick but Willow avoids contact and then she snatches hold of The British Bombshell and delivers The Devil Dog!  Willow scrambles back onto the ring apron and goes to the top rope.  She attempts another hurricinrana and this time is successful.  Willow into the cover…

…3NO! Glory kicks out!

Willow waits as Braddock pulls herself up to her knees.  Willow goes in for a kneeling hurricinrana, obviously setting up for The Last Resort, but Glory ducks it!  Glory with a school girl roll up…

2…Kickout!

Sharper: “Only two! Willow not caught off guard!”

Knots: “And they’re getting back up! Willow even coming up firing!”

Braddock catches Willow with a dragon screw.  Glory immediately steps through and applies Glorify Thy Name.  Willow is in pain but refuses to give in.  Eventually she does reach the ropes, forcing a break.  Glory drags her back out to the center and attempts to lock it in again but Willow kicks her in the ass, sending her shoulder first into the corner.  Willow drops her with a dragon suplex.  Willow attempts another headlock back breaker but Glory counters into Beautiful Insanity!  Glory covers, hooking the leg….

1…

2…

…3NO! Willow shoots her right shoulder up off the mat!

Braddock waits for Willow to compose herself before dropping her with a scissors kick.  Glory climbs to the top turnbuckle and leaps off for a Blaze of Glory, but Willow gets her knees up, driving them into Glory’s gut!  Willow with a butterfly suplex.  Willow with a reverse front drop ddt.  Willow hooks Glory for another ddt but The British Bombshell counters into Shekhinah Glory!

Sharper: “Shekinah Glory! She’s got it locked!”

Knots: “And now we see what Aspen can do!”

Willow struggles in the hold but won’t give up.  She fights towards the ropes.  Just as it seems as if she has passed out she manages, with one last burst of energy, reaches the bottom ropes to force a break.  Braddock drags her back out to the center and attempts to lock it in again but Willow counters into a victory roll…

…3NO! Glory gets a shoulder up!

Willow is slow to her feet but Glory manages to pop back up.  She boots Willow in the gut and then hooks her arms, spins her around, and drops her head first with Glorification!  Glory covers, hooking the leg…

2…

…3!

Glory rolls off and has her arm raised as the bell sounds.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Glory Braddock!”

Sharper: “And Glory retains here. Unofficial defense, but Braddock winning here against Willow Aspen who has been impressive.”

Knots: “Impressive she may be, but Braddock using the experience to get it done.”

Braddock holds up her title as the official raises her arm. Braddock then turns and looks at Willow Aspen as she stirs and Braddock nods before rolling out of the ring. She starts to head to the back.

Sharper: “We heard from Adam Allocco. Now let’s hear from the SCW World Champion, Owen Cruze, who is with Jaina Lancaster.”

The camera cuts backstage. Jaina Lancaster stands with Owen Cruze, who holds the SCW World and Underground Championships, over his shoulders in front of his locker room.

Jaina: “Thank you Adam. Owen, we heard from Adam Allocco earlier. His comments were stunning to say the least. This has taken on a new level since you were contacted by Xander Valentine and this has become so much more-“

Owen: “Jaina…please…I…I can’t believe that Adam Allocco is this shitty of a person. But he’s proving it moment by moment. And…he can say Alistaire would want this to be about the World Championship. That’s true. He’d also want to see you have to make amends. We all know how much morality played a key role in who he is. And yet, Adam, I’ve not heard something from you at any point…you’ve never apologized. Now maybe you have privately. I don’t know. Alistaire and I…we’re not as close as we were. But tonight, you’re going to apologize. Apologize through losing this title match you used YOUR Trios Tournament match for. And then-“

Jaina: “Before I continue, I feel I should let you know, we’ve been told what Kimberly Williams has asked for and it is confirmed for the first Breakdown after Retribution.”

Owen: “And what’s that?”

Jaina: “Every title on the line…a match that goes the entire show. Most falls wins the World Title…and each title from then on based off who scores the most pinfalls. And Adam and you are both in it, no matter what happens…”

Owens nods and scoffs.

Owen: “Of course…so he gets a do-over if he fails. Well, screw it…I’ll just kick his ass tonight and then again on Breakdown, because Adam, you won’t be having a happy ending. Not this time. I’ve seen too many terrible people get ahead…I’m done…I at least learned from my mistakes. And Adam, you need to too.”

Owen turns and heads off. Jaina nods.

Jaina: “Back to ringside.”

We cut to the ringside area where Adam Sharper and Jonathan Knots are.

Sharper: “And yes, we can confirm that match. Every title on the line on Breakdown. Anyone on the roster can enter…and Kim wanted chaos.”

Knots: “We’ll have a full rules list right?”

Sharper: “Come Breakdown. But this is now hanging over every champion here tonight. They could win, only to be thrown right back into the fire thanks to Kim’s pure anger.”

Cassie Wolfe vs. Konrad Raab vs. Chance Owens

Number One Contendership for the SCW Adrenaline Championship

You like to hunt, your game is fear
I was the one, your souvenir
This is a fight, the one that you've been asking for
You did incite the call for us to go to war

Jagged green lights play across the screen and the stage as a voice that can only belong to the one and only Chris Jericho belts out the words to "Wolves At Bay". Spotlights move around near the entranceway and one of them catches someone's right arm in its beam.

Pushing and pushing
Giving me no choice
Humiliate, intimidate
Until I hit the breaking point

The spotlights are still moving around on the stage as the lights on the screen start forming a pattern. One of the moving spotlights dances across someone's left leg.

Back to the wall
Keeping the wolves at bay
Fight my way out
'Cause it's the only way

The lights on the screen settle into a final configuration spelling out the name "Chance Owens". The person in question comes out to stand on the stage under some of the spotlights. Chance shields his eyes for a moment before turning to his left and beckoning to someone. "Wolfsbane" Adam Brock comes from the back to stand beside his protege and nods before pointing to the ring.

Phillips: “The following contest, scheduled for onefall, has a thirty minute time limit, and the winner will be the number one contender to the SCW Adrenaline Championship. First, on his way to the ring, accompanied by Wolfsbane Adam Brock, from Denver, Colorado, he is Roadblock Chance Owens!”

Chance nods before heading down the ramp toward the ring, the lights catching the white tape over his hands going up to the second knuckle on each finger. He doesn't respond to the cheers nor does he react to the boos. Adam smiles and touches hands with eager fans reaching out as he follows Chance. Once they reach the ringside area, Adam stands off to the side near the barricade and crosses his arms as he watches Chance ascend the steel steps that will take him between the ropes.

Sharper: “Chance Owens is hoping this may be the night things turn around. He’s had a tough go. Kelsai Adamson even calling him out on Breakdown.”

Knots: “He was thinking of calling it. And frankly, you need to now wonder whether his head is in it. Was Brock, or Adamson, were they able to get it figured it out for him. Or is he walking into what’s going to be another tough night?”

The opening riff of “Wolf Within” hits the speakers and once the lyrics kick in Cassie Wolfe emerges from the back excited to start the match, with her hands on her leather jacket’s sides the rookie wrestler turns her back to the crowd.

Phillips: “Next, from Greenock, South Australia and now residing in Las Vegas, Nevada, “The Rebel Princess” Cassie Wolfe!

When her name is announced Cassie spins around flashing the metal horns sign with her left hand and clapping fans hands with the other, when she reaches the ring Cassie jumps onto the apron before giving her hair a full flip and removing her jacket to give to a stagehand, she then jumps over the top rope and into the ring, rolling to her knees and basking in the moment.

Sharper: “Cassie Wolfe has come in with a lot of attention and you hope that she can get it together.”

Knots: “She’s taken on a lot. YUYO has been in her corner, cheering her one. She’s not out here right now.”

Sharper: “Perhaps asked to stay backstage to let Wolfe focus here. She wants to earn another shot at SCW gold.”

Violence Fetish by Disturbed plays over the sound system as Konrad comes out through the curtain with his flanged German mace with him, acting erratic with an angry look on his face, rising the flanged German mace in the air, wearing red and black face paint on the right side of his face with a red and black suit hoodie over his head he wears with pieces of flame blood designed all over them. He also has a penguin, walrus and a polar bear stitching on the left-hand side of his chest on his gear, stating Stop Climate Change. He also wears black boots along with Red and Black Gloves on his hands before he crouches down on the floor with the flanged German mace in front of him, looking at the ring with evil intentions.

Phillips: “And finally, from Cologne, Germany, he is Burned in Blood, Konrad Raab!”

After the announcement, Konrad picks up his flanged German mace and slowly walks to the ring with a massive amount of boos before Konrad runs up the steps and goes underneath the ropes. As he's in the ring, Konrad without showing any sign of acknowledgement from the fans, lays the flanged German mace on the turnbuckle, then sits in the corner of the ring with the crowd booing him, having a nasty look in his eyes, flicking his fists as if he's already ready to fight, with ring staff taking Konrad's flanged German mace away, waiting for the match to start as he takes his hoodie off from his head.

Sharper: “Raab wants to destroy. He wants to hurt. And in this match, he has two targets and a chance to earn an Adrenaline Championship match.”

Knots: “But he doesn’t want to just destroy or hurt, he wants to make people bleed, to burn them. He’s just gotten more deranged as time has gone on.”

Raab, Owens and Wolfe all look at one another and the bell sounds. Raab then runs out and nails Owens with a European uppercut. Owens falls back and through the ropes to the apron. The crowd ohs as Raab turns and Wolfe runs over and nails him with a forearm shot and then another and another. Raab falls to the ropes. Wolfe runs across the ring. She bounces off and Raab steps up and goes for a clothesline. Wolfe somersaults under and then stops and backflips back, placing her legs on the shoulders of Raab. Raab fights before Wolfe jumps up and twists around and takes him down with a headscissors takedown. Raab rolls through. He gets up and turns and Wolfe jumps up and hits a dropkick. Raab hits the mat. Wolfe goes for the pin.

Raab kicks out. He rolls over and turns as Wolfe gets up and turns as Owens gets back up and nails her with a clothesline. The crowd ohs. Raab gets up and Owens drills Raab with a hard right and then a left before kicking him in the ribs. He whips him across and into the opposite corner.

Sharper: “Owens back in after Wolfe has a good start. Raab taking the hit hard.”

Knots: “And Owens right after…well-that didn’t work!”

Raab catches Owens with a boot. Owens staggers back and Raab steps up and hits another European uppercut. Owens hits the mat. Raab goes for the pin.

Owens kicks out. Raab rolls through and gets up and Wolfe jumps up and snaps off a frankensteiner. Raab hits the mat and rolls through to the apron and then to the floor. He backs up to the middle of the entrance way. Owens gets up and Wolfe hits a back kick to the ribs. Owens falls back before Wolfe turns and runs at the ropes and hits a twisting somersault plancha onto Raab on the floor. The crowd erupts.

Sharper: “And Wolfe takes flight! Over the top! Somersault plancha onto Raab!”

Knots: “And they’re just bullying him when they can. Well they’re bully each other, but making sure to take it out on Raab. They both hate him.”

Wolfe rolls over and turns and moves to the ring. She climbs up to the apron and goes to step in, but Owens steps up and kicks the ropes. Wolfe winces and steps back out, but leans forward only for Owens to turn and hits a Pele Kick to the back of Wolfe’s head. Wolfe falls into the ring and rolls over. Owens pulls her away and goes for the pin.

Wolfe kicks out. Brock looks on as Wolfe rolls over. Chance Owens gets up and forearms her in the jaw. He pushes her into the ropes, before firing her off. Wolfe bounces off the other side and Owens hits the Brake Check. He then goes for another pin.

1!

2!

Wolfe kicks out.

Sharper: “Another nearfall. Owens just following up with pins.”

Knots: “Hoping to get the win quickly. Clearly that’s his plan at the moment.”

Sharper: “Not bad in triple threat rules. And unlike our opener, this is one fall to a finish.”

Wolfe rolls off and Chance Owens gets up and grabs her. He nails her with a shot to the ribs. He then scoops her up, but Wolfe slides down behind him. She then dropkicks him in the back. As he does, the crowd roars. We see Konrad Raab dragging a table from under the ring. He lifts it up and throws it in as he turns and looks under the ring. Owens meanwhile falls into the ropes. Wolfe runs over and grabs the top rope and hits a slingshot leg drop to the back of his head. Owens falls back. Wolfe gets up and looks in and sees the table. She looks around before then resetting and springboarding to the top rope and hitting a flipping leg drop. The crowd ohs. She goes for the pin.

Owens kicks out. Wolfe rolls over as Raab pulls in a steel chair and drags it up and swings at Wolfe. Wolfe ducks and then looks around and grabs the table. The crowd roars as Raab turns and Wolfe just throws the table at Raab. Raab swats it down and Wolfe jumps up and dropkicks Raab in the face. Raab falls back and drops the chair.

Sharper: “Raab bringing in weapons. This is a triple threat match, so de facto, you can’t be disqualified!”

Knots: “Can he even fight without the weapons though? Is he a lost cause?!”

Sharper: “Wolfe fighting! Trying to prevent Raab from turning this into an Underground rules match!”

Wolfe gets up and nails him with a hard right and then another. She backs up and then runs at Raab, but Raab ducks a clothesline attempt and spins around her. He grabs her by the waist and hits a release German suplex, causing Wolfe to backflip right into Chance. The crowd ohs. Chance Owens turns and starts to get up and Raab walks over and rakes his knee across the face of Owens. He falls to a knee and Raab clubs him in the back once and then again before hooking him up and hitting a snap suplex. Raab turns and catches Wolfe as she gets up and drops her with a European uppercut. Raab then runs into the ropes, jumping to the middle rope and hitting a lionsault onto both Owens and Wolfe.

Sharper: “Raab, off the ropes, onto both!”

Knots: “Is he trying to cover both?”

Sharper: “He is!”

Owens and Wolfe both kick out. Raab rolls off. He gets up and Wolfe stirs and turns and Raab drops her with another European uppercut. Owens then gets up and Raab kicks him in the ribs and nails him with a hard right and then another. He then whips him into the ropes. Owens runs over the table and bounces off and Raab hits a front dropkick. Owen falls back and lands on the table. He rolls over. Raab turns and walks over to the steel chair. He grabs it and turns to head over to Owens. Brock warns Owens, but Owen turns and blocks the chair shot from Raab. Raab tries to keep pushing it down before kicking Owens in the ribs. Raab then lifts the chair up and Wolfe runs into the ropes, bounces off and jumps off of Owens’s back and hits the Greenest Wizard on Raab.

Sharper: “Wolfe off the back of Owens! My God!”

Knots: “She got some serious height! And got some serious impact!”

Wolfe goes for the pin.

Owens breaks it up. Wolfe rolls off as does Raab. Owens gets up and turns and kicks the chair out to the apron. Owens then nails Wolfe with the Checkstop. Wolfe falls back and rolls over. Owens gets up and Raab turns and Owens hits a Checkstop on him. He then grabs him and hits a DDT for good measure. Owens turns and exits to the apron. He climbs up to the top rope. The crowd roars as he gets up to the top rope. Wolfe then gets up and runs over and nails him in the ribs. She then climbs up to the middle rope and then to the top rope. She grabs him and hooks him up before nailing him with a shot and then another only for Raab to get up and run over and jump up and grab Wolfe from behind. He hits a German superplex, while Wolfe pulls Owens off with a superplex. The crowd ohs as both hit the mat hard. Raab crawls over.

Sharper: “Superplex/German Superplex. Raab the only one moving!”

Knots: “And he could be number one contender to the Addy title!”

Raab crawls over and covers Wolfe.

Wolfe shoots her shoulder up. Raab looks up and crawls over to Owens and covers him.

Owens kicks out. Raab looks up and lets out an annoyed yell before stomping Owens in the face and then Wolfe. He turns and looks around and sees the table he slid in. He grabs it and lifts it up and places it into the corner. He turns around as Wolfe is getting up first and Raab grabs her and clubs her in the back once and then again. He glances over and whips her into the corner, but Wolfe backflips off the table. She turns and Raab goes for a clothesline. Wolfe ducks and stops. Raab turns around and Wolfe hits a dropkick. Raab staggers. Wolfe gets up and runs across the ring. She bounces off and then jumps up, but Raab catches her and hits a sitout chokepowerbomb. The crowd ohs.

2!

Owens breaks it up. Raab rolls over as Wolfe rolls back.

Sharper: “Nearly won it there. Wolfe trying to use the table Raab set up against him.”

Knots: “Yeah and he just powered her down. Let’s see him try that with Owens!”

Owens turns and gets up and stomps Raab once and then again. He grabs Raab and drags him up. He then pulls him back and hits a full nelson slam. Owens then turns and exits to the apron. He climbs up to the top rope. Raab stirs and starts to get up and Owen looks at him before diving off, going for a diving strike of some sort, but Raab catches him and hits a flapjack. He then stumbles up and Raab grabs him and moves and pushes him into the corner. Raab staggers back before running into the ropes, but as he does, we suddenly hear a vicious crack as Raab is hit with a steel chair. The crowd ohs as we cut to ringside as we see a man in a Ravyn Taylor hoodie, holding the steel chair kicked to the apron. Some fans at ringside are losing their minds.

Sharper: “What the hell was that?! Who the hell is that?!”

Knots: “I can’t tell!”

Sharper: “Some of the fans know!”

Raab staggers forward and the man rolls into the ring and gets up, with the steel chair, and cracks Raab in the face with it. Raab stumbles back toward the table. Chance gets out of the way as the crowd erupts as we see the man known as Ace Marshall standing in the ring. He drops the chair and jumps up and hits the One Eye’d Royal, knocking Raab back and through the table. The crowd ohs. Ace gets up and rolls over. He then throws his hood back on and drops down to the floor.

Sharper: “Ace Marshall! Ace Marshall is back! And he went after Konrad?!”

Knots: “Why Konrad? Is this a LexyCorp thing? Did she find him?!”

Sharper: “We’re not that far from Houston…”

Ace backs away from the ring and starts to head to the back. Wolfe then sees Raab down and scrambles over and drags him out of the table wreckage, but just then, Owens runs over to Wolfe and rolls her up with a school boy.

1!

2!

3!

The crowd roars and Owen lets go and rolls out of the ring. Brock jumps up and claps his hands as the bell sounds.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, and the number one contender to the SCW Adrenaline Championship, Chance Owens!”

Sharper: “And after that, Wolfe focused on Raab! Owens focused on Wolfe and got the win! Chance Owens gets the pin and is the number one contender to the SCW Adrenaline Championship!”

Ace Marshall walks up the rampway and glances back before continuing to the back. He ignores the crowd as back in the ring, Owens has his arm raised by Adam Brock. Owens pumps his fist in happiness as Wolfe looks up and falls back to a seated position. Raab stirs in the ring as Owens celebrates some more at ringside before turning and getting some encouragement and plaudits from Brock.

We cut to see a camera running backstage. It clearly is heading toward the tunnel where we see Ace Marshall walking and picking up pace he starts to walk down another pathway. The camera runs after to follow before we see Lexy Chapel appearing down the hallway.

Chapel: “Ace?! ACE! OH MY GOD! ACE! JUST IN TIME!-“

Ace then abruptly turns down one hallway. The camera turns to follow as Lexy can be heard yelling behind him. Ace starts to jog through the backstage area. He turns down one hallway and heads toward one of the exits. The camera stops as we see Lexy Chapel turning and running after.

Chapel: “Ace! Wait! I know! My lesbian relationship is too much, but YOU’LL ALWAYS BE IN MY HEART! WE CAN TALK!”

Chapel runs after, following after where Ace Marshall was. The camera runs after them and turns and heads through the door that Ace and now Lexy went. The camera jogs out as Ace jumps into a car and pulls forward and drives off. Lexy looks around before turning and looking around. She then turns and sees the Happy Farmstead van. She runs over and steps in. Lexy takes a moment before the van’s ignition is heard. She pulls back, struggling to turn. She then violently turns in one way and nearly runs someone over.

Chapel: “ACE! WAIT!”

Chapel drives after as the camera remains filming.

Kimberly Williams vs. Alexis Quinne

Underground Rules

The eyes all focus on the stage. The lights grow dim. Opening strum of Rage Against the Machine's Calm Like a Bomb plays. White house lights illuminate the ramp.

Feel the funk blast
Feel the funk blast
FEEL THE FUNK BLAST

The house lights turn blue, red, green, etc. Alexis Quinne steps out through the curtains, dragging a black steel chair in her right hand and a black baseball bat in her leg hand. The crowd gasps. She's dressed in all black coveralls with the legs tucked underneath her black traditional boots, white tape wrapped around both knuckles and an white skull mask. Quinne saunters down the ramp, dragging both weapons down the aisle way.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and is an Underground Rules match. First, from San Francisco, California...this is Alexis Quinne!”

Alexis slowly makes her way down to the ring. The crowd continues to buzz. The camera does the classic rotation that it used to do for her entrances. Once she reaches ringside, Alexis then tosses the chair under the bottom rope into the ring; then the baseball bat. From there, she grabs the ring covering, placing it on the apron. She crouches and observes underneath the ring. This goes for on for a while. She then stands up and walks up the steel steps. She rest her head on top of the turnbuckle, saying a few words to herself. She then picks up her head and enters the ring.

She staggers to the middle of the ring, removing her mask. The crowd roars when it's revealed that her face is covered with face paint that resembles the grim reaper. Alexis briefly closes her eyes and then reopens them. She peers out in the crowd before picking up the steel chair and then unfolding it. She takes a seat, reaching on the canvas to grab the baseball bat as well. Her eyes lock in on the ramp as her music fades.

Sharper: “Alexis Quinne looking forward to this one. She has taken the fight to Kimberly Williams as Kim’s frustrations with not getting a Underground Title rematch have boiled over.”

Knots: “And made Alexis a target. And Owen and Alexis had a fight, but this is different. This is Kim!”

The lights go out, except for a single spotlight at the top of the stage. The opening chords to “Patient Number 9” by Ozzy Osbourne begins to play.  A haunting voice is heard…

"Is there a way out of here?"
"Hey, how long you been here?"
"I wanna go home"
"Hey, hahaha"
"Hahaha"
"Excuse me, could you tell how to get out of here?"
"Hahaha"
"I want to go home"
"Hahaha"
"Mommy, mommy"

The song begins to rage full bore now.  Suddenly the lights come back on and Kimberly Williams is standing at the top of the stage to a loud, mostly positive, reaction from the fans.  A sinister smirk is on her face as she ponders what she is about to do tonight.

Phillips: “Her opponent, from Boston, Massachusetts, she is the Woman Scorned, the Wild Card, Kimberly Williams!”

She winks at the fans before pointing towards the ring and making a beeline towards it.  She slides into the ring underneath the bottom rope.  Kimberly then poses in the center of the ring to another loud reaction from the fans.  The music slowly dies down and Kimberly goes to a corner to await the start of the match.

Sharper: “Kim just moving to the corner. Here we go. Underground Rules.”

Knots: “If there was ever a home-match advantage, Kim’s got it!”

The match begins with Kimberly spitting a red liquid into Quinne’s face.  Hot sauce!  Quinne is blinded and Kim takes advantage with Morrigan’s Wrath superkick.  Quinne tries to sit up but Kim charges in and drives a knee into her face.  Kim rolls to the outside and reaches underneath the ring, producing a large tank of more ghost pepper hot sauce with a hose attached to it.   Kim takes aim with the hose as Alexis pulls herself up.  Kim sprays Alexis down, aiming at the face to maximize the pain.  Eventually Kim drops the hot sauce tank and then goes back underneath the ring, searching for more weapons.  She tosses steel chairs, kendo sticks, a staple gun, trash cans, and finally takes the infinity gauntlet she found under the ring and places it on her right hand.

Sharper: “Oh God. That damn gauntlet.”

Knots: “We’re going to get sued by Marvel now!”

Williams rolls back into the ring and decks Alexis with a shot from the infinity gauntlet.  Kim then snaps her fingers with the gauntlet hand and waits, watching Alexis.  Kim shrugs her shoulders, looking disappointed.

Kim: “Stupid thing!  You were supposed to disappear with a snap of my fingers!  The movies told me so!”

The Woman Scorned drops a fist onto Alexis’s face with the gauntlet.  Kim then takes Quinne and sets her up for a slingshot into the corner but Alexis with catlike agility stops herself and then flies backward with a cross body taking down Kim.  Alexis grabs a kendo stick and waits as Kim pulls herself up.  Alexis blasts Kim in the gut a few times and then the back.  Alexis places a steel chair down on the mat.  She picks Kim up and drives her head first onto the chair with a diving tornado ddt.  Alexis with True Ambition to Kim.  She covers.

1…

…2Kickout!

Alexis with a spinning heel kick and a rolling wheel kick.  Kim rolls to the outside to stop the momentum.  Alexis runs off the ropes, not realizing that Kim is reaching underneath the ring for more toys.  Alexis goes flying over the top with a suicide dive head first…RIGHT INTO A BARBED WIRE STEEL CHAIR FROM KIM!

Crowd: “Holy Shit! Holy Shit! Holy Shit!”

Sharper: “Oh my God! The barbed wire! Kim got it from under! Alexis dove right into it!”

Knots: “And Kim knows what’s under there. She’s probably put half of it there!”

Kim takes the barbed wire chair and blasts Alexis in the back with it over and over again.  Kim laughs maniacally.

Kim: “Say hello to my little friend!”

Kim blasts Alexis one more time with the barbed wire chair.  Kim props Kim up against the steel steps and places the barbed wire chair on her face.  Kim takes a few steps and charges in going for a knee strike but Alexis with a surge of energy takes the chair and blasts Kim in the face as she is coming in.  Alexis with a shining wizard onto Kim.  Alexis covers, hooking the leg.

1…

2…Kickout!

Quinne rolls Kim back into the ring.  She reaches underneath the ring and produces a table and brings it into the ring.  Quinne sets the table up in a corner.  But by this time Kim has recovered.  Kim throws rights.  Alexis responds with right hands of her own.  Alexis and Kim trade right hands with Alexis getting the better of the exchange.  Quinne whips Kim into the ropes and delivers a flying forearm shot.  Quinne with Boomerang takes Kim down.  Quinne then whips Kim into the table propped up in the corner.  Kim hits hard but the table doesn’t break.  Alexis charges in and spears Kim through the table, breaking the table in half!

Sharper: “And through the table! Quinne drives Kim!”

Knots: “There you go!”

Alexis drags Kim out of the rubble of the table.  She drags  Kim near a corner.  Alexis climbs to the top turnbuckle.  She goes for Thousand Sunny but Kim rolls out of the way and Alexis hits nothing but canvas!

Sharper: “Thousand Sunny! No one home!”

Knots: “Crash and burn and with Kim, that’s not going to be good!”

Kim measures Quinne as she pulls herself up.  Kim wraps Alexis up and delivers a snap release  German suplex onto a trash can!  Kim takes Quinne and applies a crucifix arm bar with a neck submission, completing Homage To The Queen.  The referee is in perfect position to check on a submission but Quinne won’t relent.  Alexis drags herself to the ropes, eventually reaching them after about a minute.  Kim releases the hold and then goes over and snatches the staple gun.  She holds it up in the air and the fans go crazy.

Crowd: “STAPLE! STAPLE! STAPLE!”

Williams walks over to Quinne and mounts her.  First she staples her in the forehead!

Kim: “One for the money!”

She staples her in the temple.

Kim: “Two for the show!”

Kim staples her in the arm!

Kim: “Three to get ready and…”

Quinne kicks Kim off.  Quinne scrambles back to her feet and then Kim staples her in the ass cheeks.  Kim charges in with a Catcus Clothesline sending both herself and Alexis over the top and tumbling to the outside.

Sharper: “Maiming Quinne here and now up and over. To the floor.”

Knots: “Quinne has to reset. She needs to refocus. Kim’s just too comfortable and Alexis is getting used to this.”

Williams reaches underneath the ring and produces her penguin Wasley, which draws loud cheers from the crowd.  She takes aim as Quinne pulls herself up.  Kim charges in and decks Alexis in the head with Wasley.  Kim then reaches underneath the ring and produces what can only be described as a bed of barbed wire.  She points at Alexis and laughs maniacally.

Kim: “You made your bed!  You’re gonna lie in it!”

Williams stalks Quinne but she manages to drop toe hold Kim face first onto the steel steps.  Alexis with a superkick taking Kim down.  Quinne then slingshots Williams face first into the steel ringpost.  Quinne rolls Kim back into the ring before stepping back onto the ring apron.  She starts to navigate herself back into the ring but Kim springs to life, spearing herself and Quinne out of the ring, through the ropes, and onto the bed of barbed wire!

Crowd: “HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!”

Sharper: “My God! They’re ruined!”

Knots: “Kim already was. Now she’s just making Quinne join her!”

Williams and Quinne are both in extreme pain as they are stuck in the barbed wire.  Kim is smiling, almost as if she enjoys it.  Eventually Kim and Quinne manage to pull themselves off of the barbed wire.  Alexis tries to navigate herself back into the ring.  Kim, meanwhile, reaches back underneath the ring and produces a bag of some unknown contents.  She brings it into the ring, just as Alexis pulls herself back up to her feet.  Kim pours the contents of her bag out onto the mat…TACKS AND BROKEN GLASS!

Sharper: “And Kim now adding more…thumb tacks-“

Knots: “And glass. The tacks weren’t good enough!”

Alexis rushes in and takes her down with a spinning heel kick.  Alexis with a rolling wheel kick.  Alexis with an imperial cradle…

1…

2…

…3NO! Kim kicks out!

Kimberly scrambles back to her feet.  Alexis measures her before dropping her with Boomerang, onto the tacks and glass!

Sharper: “Boomerang into the tacks and glass!”

Knots: “Kim just turning into a pin cushion and she probably likes it!”

Alexis goes for a second straight Boomerang but this time Kim avoids it.  Kim with a Full Nelson suplex, driving Alexis onto the tacks and glass!  Kim then takes Alexis by the legs and turns her over into a liontamer, The Angel’s Arch, right in the middle of the pile of glass and tacks, thus forcing Alexis’s face onto the pile of pointy objects!

Sharper: “Oh no! The Angel’s Arch! Alexis face first into the tacks too.”

Knots: “And if she can’t figure something out, she’s going to have to tap with God knows what damage to her face!”

Quinne tries to drag herself to the ropes but she can’t do so without further cutting herself up.  Eventually she spots the staple gun Kim had used earlier.  She reaches for it and then grabs it.  Quinne uses it to staple Kim’s legs over and over into she breaks the hold.  Kim staggers forward into a flapjack from Alexis onto the tacks and glass.  Quinne goes outside and measures Kim.  Kim staggers toward Quinne who leaps into action, latching on with Esperanza!

Sharper: “Esperanza! Quinne!”

Knots: “And Kim now trying to fight out. Quinne turning it around as both of these two covered in cuts, and tacks!”

Kim fights in the hold for several long moments, refusing to give in.  Eventually she manages to counters into Homage To The Queen.  Quinne is now in agony but she too refuses to give up.  Quinne counters back into Esperanza.  Kim drags herself and Quinne to the outside, forcing a break.  Quinne drags herself back up using the ropes, but Kim meanwhile snatches hold of Wasley again.  Alexis walks in and Quinne blasts her knees with Wasley.  Kim pulls Alexis up and whips her knees first into the steel steps.  Kim picks the barbed wire steel chair back up and blasts Quinne’s legs and knees with it repeatedly.

Sharper: “No! To the legs! The knees! The barbed wire chair!”

Knots: “Jesus! Alexis has to be cut all over. Welcome to the Underground!”

Williams pulls Alexis back up and rolls her into the ring.  Kim slides back into the ring and then applies The Scorned sharpshooter.

Sharper: “And Kim now again going for the submission.”

Knots: “Williams almost wants to make Quinne give up. To give up in the Underground!”

Quinne fights towards the ropes, inching closer and closer.  Eventually she reaches the ropes but Kim won’t let go.  This is Underground Rules and no disqualifications. Quinne realizing that the ropes won’t save her pulls herself out of the ring and thus forcing a break.  Kim goes out after her.  Kim measures Alexis for Shadowblade but Quinne avoids contact.  Quinne snaps off a superkick to Kim followed by a double arm ddt on the outside.  Quinne locks in the Dreanaught Plata.

Sharper: “The armbar! Dreadnaught Plata! Quinne again!”

Knots: “They’re both going for the holds! The submissions!”

Kim struggles in the hold for a significant time as she fights to try and counters.  Kim manages to reach hold of her legs and then counters back into Scorned.  Kim keeps the hold locked in for as long as she can but eventually she lets go, out of fatigue and realizing Quinne won’t tap.  Kim drags Alexis up the ramp, punching and kicking her along the way until they reach the top of the stage.  Kim keeps kicking her until she is near the edge.  Williams takes a few steps back and then charges in.  Kim slams into Alexis, sending both herself and Quinne off the top of the stage and slamming onto electrical equipment below!  Sparks fly!

Crowd: HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!

Sharper: “My God! Get help! Get help!”

Knots: “Jesus Christ!”

Sharper: “Both down. Both in a heap!”

Quinne is on her back, breathing heavily as Kim is down. She slowly reaches out, struggling and then throwing her arm over Quinne.

The crowd roars as the bell sounds. Kim rolls off and looks up at the lights.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Kimberly Williams!”

Sharper: “A war to say the least. Alexis Quinne held her own in this violent environment. And Kimberly Williams just was too willing to take chances.”

Knots: “Chances that paid off somehow. And when her luck runs out…”

Sharper: “It didn’t tonight. And while she’s frustrated about the lack of a title match, her Trios cash-in…may God help us all.”

Kimberly Williams stirs as she and Alexis are checked on by officials.

The scene opens up backstage as we see Mr. D talking and shaking hands with a man wearing a lipped bowler, with a notable beard.

Knots: “Wait…is Mr. D meeting with Nate Rateliff?”

Sharper: “I don’t know-“

Knots: “No! The lead singer of Seether!”

Sharper: “I don’t know Jon, but obviously, potential suitors to acquire SCW meeting with Mr. D, the founder. Obviously, vetting is occurring. Some are here, I’m sure. We’ve not see Blake Mason or Jenni Anderson, but we know of others too. And it’s all been weighing over many people’s head. But none moreso than the SCW Tag Team Champions.”

The Retribution logo comes up on the screen before we see a still of the Light in the Darkness vs. House of Frost.

Sharper: “And tonight, they say they’re going to focus on one thing…showing they are the best.”

Knots: “They’re going to have the stage for it. Tens of thousands of people here at AT&T Stadium. I just want to know however who that is!”

Sharper: “Maybe not something to worry about. But the Tag Team Champions, Selena Frost and Deanna Frost and their challengers, La Pequena Luz and Amelia Blythe…they’re going to have to put their emphasis on that squared circle.”

Light in the Darkness vs. The House of Frost

SCW World Tag Team Championship

All of a sudden, the lights go out, prompting a surprised pop from the fans. “Die For You” by Starset begins to play, the LED screens flickering to life to show a large wisteria tree in front of a starry night sky with a beautiful moon, the stars seeming like they’re slowly shifting and dancing around as petals from the tree fall and gracefully glide through the sky. One spotlight comes to life on the left side of the stage from the camera’s perspective, revealing Amelia Blythe standing underneath it, eyes focused on the ring and a small smile on her lips as her hands are folded in front of her, giving her the look of a proper young lady. A second spotlight comes to life on the right side of the stage, revealing La Pequeña Luz standing underneath it with the kind of grin that could light up a room all on its own as she motions with her hands for the fans to get pumped up, which they immediately proceed to do. The two slowly turn their attention to one another and begin closing the distance, their spotlights following them as they stop within arm’s reach of one another, where Amelia extends her hand and Luz takes it before they pull their bodies close, the spotlights merging into one piercing through the darkness. When the song goes into the chorus, the two ladies begin to literally waltz their way down to the ring, fast and fluid to keep pace with the song as the spotlight follows their every move, leaving fans mesmerized by their synergy. As the chorus reaches its end, the two break their dance, pushing away from one another as far as their arms will allow without letting go before quickly pointing to the LED screens with their free hands, where the night scene is immediately engulfed in white before transitioning to a video package of the two ladies in action, both together and individually. Slowly, the two release one another, the single spotlight splitting in two again as they head to the ring.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a thirty minute time limit and is for the SCW World Tag Team Championship! First, the challengers, they come to the ring, first, from Oxford, England, she is Amelia Blythe; her partner from Tulancingo, Hidalgo, Mexico, La Pequena Luz. Together, they are the Light in the Darkness!”

The crowd cheers as they reach the ring. Amelia makes her way up the steps to walk across the apron on one side, wiping her feet before stepping through the ropes. Luz, meanwhile, hops up onto the apron right in front of her and grabs the top rope before vaulting herself into a somersault into the ring, landing on her feet. She moves to the center of the ring and drops to her knees, cupping her hands together in front of her while Amelia stands right behind her, hands folded before her once again. As Luz lifts her cupped hands upward, the arena lights slowly begin to come back on as Amelia takes her hands and pulls her to her feet, spinning her around one final time into a tight embrace and a soft kiss before the two move to their corner to prepare for battle, with both girls shedding their robes and Amelia also removing her mask.

Sharper: “Light in the Darkness returning only a few month ago. By virtue of they getting the victory in the historic twelve-person tag match at Body, Heart, and Soul, they have received this opportunity.”

Knots: “And they have to thinking about this. Luz isn’t that far from Mexico, here in Texas. Some fans looking to see her. And you know what, this is a big stage. Look at this crowd.”

Sharper: “Here in AT&T Stadium, where over 90 000 have joined us for SCW action! The biggest Retribution crowd in history.”

“BELIEVE IT!”

The sound of two women shouting the familiar phrase causes the fans to cheer loudly as “Ignite” by Alan Walker and K-391 plays throughout the arena as ‘snow’ falls along the LED screens. From out the back walks Selena and Deanna Frost. As Selena stands on the center part of the ramp, she watches as Deanna runs to the far left, the redhead screaming her excitement to the fans before running to the far right to do the same, a stream of bright red and orange ‘leaves’ following the redhead on the LED screens below and behind them.

As Deanna reaches Selena, the Snow Queen turns to her side, raising her arm towards the ring and her back arm towards the sky. With a smile, Deanna stands back to back with Selena, raising and lowering her own arm to match Selena’s towards the ring, the ‘leaves’ circling around them. At the same time, the Frost wives each stomp their front foot, sending a ‘crack’ along the ‘ice’ to race down the ramp, the ‘leaves’ following it to circle around the ring LED screens!

Phillips: “Their opponents, making their way to the ring, from Manhattan, New York, they are ‘The Queen’s Guard’, Deanna Frost and ‘The Snow Queen’, Selena Frost. Together, they are the SCW World Tag Team Champions, they are the House of Frost!”

Making their way down the ramp, their steps leaving ‘footprints’ in the ‘snow’, Deanna rushes ahead to high-five members of the SCW Universe. Reaching the ring first, Deanna slides in and jumps to the ropes, leaning over them with her arm raised. She repeats this on the other side of the ring as Selena makes her way up the stairs and into the ring.

Reaching the center, Selena lifts her hand up to give a twirl as the lights form to make a massive snowflake under her. Stopping her spin and lowering her hand back down, towards the audience, once again palm upright, a smirk graces her lips, her other arm lifting to the sky once more as Deanna drops to her knees and spins around to stop right in front of Selena, facing the audience as Selena does and posing with her arms outstretched and a smile on her face as the ‘leaves’ also encircle the two women over the snowflake. With a slam of her foot, Selena causes the snowflake at their feet to “crack” as the rampway did, the shards of ice and ‘leaves’ streaking out to all four corners of the ring to shoot out blue and red sparkles of light as the lights return to normal. Selena helps Deanna to her feet as the audience continue to cheer.

Sharper: “Selena stunned by the revelation that SCW may be up for sale. She however has vowed, along with Deanna and Light in the Darkness, to focus on one thing she can control and that’s competing.”

Knots: “She says she’ll leave it in the ring. Light in the Darkness are cut from the same cloth. Both have a certain vision for how to compete. Let’s see what they do here.”

Sharper: “Thirty minute time limit in place for this one. Two teams with talented women, competing at the highest level. Let’s go!”

Aaron Demitra, the official, takes the titles and raises them over his head. The SCW World Tag Team Championship logo comes across the screen and fades to the bottom corner. He hands off the titles as the two teams talk to one another. Selena then steps up for her team as Luz and Blythe talk and then Blythe steps forward. The two look at one another as the bell sounds. The crowd roars. The two women watch one another before then locking up in the middle of the ring. The crowd roars as the two women push back on one another. Selena turns and moves into a side headlock. She pulls back. Blythe reaches up and around and then pushes on her arms before hoisting her up and Selena drops down and hits a headlock takedown. Blythe gets her legs up and wraps them around Selena’s head, pulling her back into a headscissors. Selena nips out. Blythe rolls over and Selena goes for the arm. She wrenches Blythe’s arm. Blythe winces and reaches up and then rolls forward before rolling back and then dropping down and spinning around on her back, causing Selena to lose her grip, but Blythe then hits a drop toe hold. She dives forward into a side headlock.

Sharper: “Selena Frost showing her experience, while we keep seeing that British style play a role for Blythe.”

Knots: “Selena’s not really see it. We saw how Glory Braddock and Amelia Blythe traded that style and both took a lot out of it and Glory is good at it.”

Selena starts to pull herself up and Blythe holds on. Selena manages to pry the grip and slide her head out. She then pushes off her feet and flips forward, grabbing Blythe’s head and driving it into the mat with a cutter. Blythe rolls to her back. Selena turns and goes for the pin.

Knots: “And now for Deanna and Luz.”

Blythe tags in Luz. Selena tags in Deanna. The two enter the ring. They circle the ring and then watch one another before Deanna suddenly spins through and goes for a spinning back elbow. Blythe enters as Deanna looks at her and tells her to come at her. Blythe nods before then lunging and running at her. Deanna goes lower and lifts Blythe up. Blythe however fights with her and moves into a flying headscissors position and flips forward, causing Deanna to roll through and land on her side. She then keeps the headscissors on. Sharper: “Just amazing! Amazing athleticism. But also timing. The moment.”

Knots: “We’re seeing some ruled bent, but both sides doing it. Almost like they both respect the other in a weird way. They both know how damaging everything could be.”

Deanna and Blythe roll over as Luz and Selena start to stir. (6) Demitra tries to get them up, but Luz runs past her and goes to Selena who ducks a clothesline. Luz hits the corner and staggers back as Selena jumps up and hits a running neckbreaker. The crowd ohs. Selena turns and gets up and turns as she walks over and goes to Deanna, trying to help her up. Luz just breaks it up still! The crowd roars. Selena turns and gets up and grabs Luz. She elbows her in the back of the head. Deanna starts to slowly get up and Selena then nods to her. She whips Luz into the ropes. Luz bounces off and Deanna hoists Luz up as if setting up for a 3-D, but she then throws her up and into a Glass Shard. The crowd ohs. Luz rolls to the floor. Just then, Blythe recovers enough to run at Selena and blast her with a European uppercut. Selena flips up and over the top rope to the floor. Blythe leans against the ropes as Deanna runs at her and Blythe hoists her up and back drops her up and over the top rope.

Sharper: “The vicious double team by Selena and Deanna. Luz may be out.”

Knots: “That Glass Shard caught her bam! On the jaw!”

Sharper: “And Blythe, coming alive as a result, knowing she has to dig deep. Both Frosts now on the floor!”

Blythe steps through to the apron. Selena rolls over and starts to get up as Deanna turns and stirs too. (1) Blythe steps up and hits a standing shooting star press off apron and onto the Frosts! The crowd ohs. (1) Blythe rolls over, looking up at the lights.

Sharper: “And using her body! The shooting star off the apron!”

Knots: “Both Frosts caught again!”

Sharper: “But you can’t win on the floor.”

Blythe rolls over. She looks over at Deanna. (2) She then starts to pull her up. She drags Deanna up to her feet. (3) Blythe turns and rolls her into the ring. Blythe slides in and starts to get up. Deanna rolls over and slowly gets to her feet. Blythe gets up and looks at her. Deanna staggers and turns to Blythe only for Blythe to drill her with a European uppercut. Deanna staggers and Blythe hits a second uppercut. She then hits a third one and then grabs Deanna, pulling her in and taking her off her feet. She folds her legs and turns her over, locking in a Texas Cloverleaf!

Knots: “She knows where we are!”

Sharper: “Texas Cloverleaf! Locked in! Middle of the ring!”

Deanna yells in pain as Blythe keeps the hold on and leans back. She looks up, closing her eyes, gritting through her own pain and fatigue. Deanna reaches out, but is far from the ropes. She continues to yell in pain as Demitra checks. The crowd makes noise, wondering if this may be it. Deanna then lifts her hand up, looking like she may tap. The crowd roars some more. Blythe glances back as she continues to keep the hold on. Deanna shakes her head before starting to bite her finger. She then lifts her hand again. Demitra looks on as Deanna holds it up, before Selena then grabs the top rope and springboards to the top rope before hitting the Cold Shoulder on Blythe, breaking it up. The crowd ohs. Blythe rolls over. She then turn as Deanna rolls over. Selena walks over and checks on her.

Knots: “We nearly had new champs!”

Sharper: “A few seconds longer and I think you may be right. Selena saving Deanna. Deanna looked like she was going to tap.”

Blythe rolls over as Selena helps Deanna up and then Selena forearms Blythe. She then pulls her in and throws her at Deanna. Deanna hooks her up and then Selena grabs Blythe’s arm and spins it out before hitting the Paydirt, before Deanna snaps her back for the Coronation. The crowd erupts. Deanna falls onto Blythe for the pin.

Luz breaks it up by diving off the top rope, having climbed up there and hitting the Caer del Cielo! The crowd erupts in cheers as the pin is broken up. Selena falls to a knee before looking at Luz. She glances at Deanna as Deanna rolls off of Blythe, down.

Sharper: “Shades of El Espiritu Angelico! La Pequena Luz with the Fall from Heaven!”

Knots: “Something divine about it. The timing for sure!”

“This is Awesome” chants continue as Selena then gets up and grabs Luz. Demitra tries to get them out again as Selena pulls Luz up and clubs her in the back once and then again. Selena then grabs her and whips her into the corner. Selena runs after. Luz gets an elbow up. Selena stumbles back. Luz then jumps up to the top rope and dives back with a sunset flip. Selena rolls through and goes for a sweep kick. Luz leans back and Selena misses. Luz pulls Selena down into a school boy, but Selena rolls through. Luz spins through for a kick and catches her. Luz then gets up as Selena stirs and backs up. She then runs forward, but Deanna grabs her and runs her into Selena who gets a knee up. Deanna hits a German suplex. Deanna rolls through and Blythe jumps up with the Flash Freeze. Deanna falls back. Blythe gets up and Selena runs over and forearms her in the jaw and then hit a chop before kicking her in the ribs. She then wrenches her arm and goes for the Paydirt, but Blythe blocks it and spins around and locks in the Blight Choke!

Sharper: “Blythe! Blight Choke! Blight Choke!”

Knots: “But it’s on Selena!”

Sharper: “Selena’s fading. The Light in the Darkness may get the advantage.”

Blythe keeps trying to lock in the leg scissors, but Selena fights a bit as Deanna slowly gets up. Blythe keeps trying before Selena leans forward and manages to lower her head just enough for Deanna to lunge and hit Blythe with the Burnout! The crowd ohs. Blythe falls to the mat. Deanna falls on top of her. Selena falls to the mat.

Luz dives, but can’t reach as the bell sounds.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, and STILL SCW World Tag Team Champions, the House of Frost!”

Sharper: “What a match! Two amazing teams, hugely gifted, but tonight, the champions retain!”

Knots: “Blythe was a moment away. Selena was fading. Deanna just had perfect timing.”

Sharper: “And Selena hoped Deanna would get up. Just in time and Deanna punctuates this title defense.”

Deanna rolls over and winces as Selena coughs and looks up as Demitra hands them their titles. They take them and look at one another. Deanna looks up at Selena as Selena nods as Luz rolls over. The crowd cheers both as fans can be seen clapping as Selena gets up and helps Deanna up. The two hold their titles up over their heads.

Sharper: “They said they were going to focus on the in-ring and two of the finest teams in SCW today just put on a classic all to become World Tag Team Champions!”

Selena and Deanna hug before they back up as Luz and Blythe stir. Selena and Deanna walk over to them before pulling Luz and Blythe up. The crowd applauds some more as Selena and Deanna say something to them. Luz just looks down as Blythe looks out. They then raise Selena and Deanna’s arms. The crowd cheers some more. Blythe and Luz then back up and applauds them as the camera remains on them for a few moments longer before the scene fades to black.

We open up at the SCW Headquarters. The sounds of phones ringing and people talking is broken up by a shot into the office of SCW Founder, Mr. D. We then hear a buzz as Mr. D looks around and then looks at the phone in the room. He presses a button.

Mr. D: “Yes?”

Sasha: “Dad….can I talk to you?”

Mr. D: “Oh yeah. Of course!”

Sasha: “I’ll be right in.”

A few moments pass before Sasha walks into the office. Sasha walks to the desk and sits down across from him.

Sasha: “So enjoying things.”

Mr. D: “Of course! Comfortable chairs, big office, nice day, a visit from my daughter.”

Sasha: “Well I’m here on business. Next year, big deal, Rise to Greatness XX. What do you think about returning to Toronto for it?”

Mr. D: “I love it! Would be great to return to the Skydom-“

Sasha: “Come on dad, you know it’s not called that anymore. It’s the Rogers Centre.”

Mr. D: “True, but when we were there for the first one, it was. You know what else happened since then.”

Sasha: “What?”

Mr. D: “Four different presidents of the United States. Yeah….several football scandals. Social Media became a thing. Facebook didn’t exist!”

Mr. D shakes his head.

Mr. D: “I remember making business deals over this MSN thing.”

Sasha: “Now we just text and have apps for that.”

Mr. D: “Back then, apps were what you had before dinner at a restaurant!”

Sasha: “I know, I know.”

Mr. D: “What a time it was. Back in 2004, the first Rise to Greatness. Steve Griffin versus CHBK. Jason  Zero was then Lestat and officiating. Dean Black and Jay Gold hated each other. Mr. Showtime! Mono Loco! The Relentless!”

Sasha: “The formative years. And since then, the talent has just gotten bigger and better. Selena Frost, Syren, Adam Allocco, Owen Lee, Holly Adams, GiGi Aries-“

Mr. D: “Twenty years ago, he wasn’t a problem either!”

Sasha: “Well a lot has changed since then. Except one thing…”

Mr. D: “What’s that?”

Sasha: “SCW is still the symbol for the greatest wrestling in the world.”

Mr. D: “You know what else?”

Mr. D reaches into his desk and pulls out a bottle of rye and two glasses.

Mr. D: “We can toast to that!”

Mr. D pours some rye for both and we cut forward to them cheering to their success. The Rise to Greatness logo comes up on the screen.

“Rise to Greatness XX…July 2023…SCW returns home to Toronto!”

The logo remains on the screen for a bit longer before we cut back to the office. Sasha leans back in her chair.

Sasha: “There’s one other thing that’s changed, dad?”

Mr. D: “What’s that?”

Sasha: “Why are you in my office?”

Mr. D looks around and nods. He gets up and walks around as Sasha gets up and spins around to be on the other side. They swap places as the scene fades out.

Nicole Kinneck vs. The Four Faces of Dancing Bear

From behind the curtain, Dancing Bear awkwardly moonwalks out onto the stage, his snout covered in a white powder. He then stops and looks back before turning forward and then back again as we see Bear-Bituates step out, holding his head, seemingly in pain, followed by Bearijuana, who still is smoking…somehow, and finally Bearoin who stumbles out, wearing a shirt over his bear suit. Dancing Bear steps up and then looks back to the back before motioning to them to come. They start to head to the ring.

Phillips: “The following contest is a special challenge match. On their way to the ring, representing LexyCorp, from the Happy Farmstead, Lexy Chapel presents the Four Faces of Dancing Bears!”

The crowd boos a bit as Dancing Bear leads his “faces” to the ring.

Sharper: “No Lexy Chapel. We saw her with Ace. Clearly following him. But now what about this?”

Knots: “Don’t worry. Dancing Bear watched Cocaine Bear at least seventy times. He’s clearly ready!”

Sharper: “Uh-huh…against a woman who hates Bear.”

Knots: “They hate her. It’s perfect!”

Bear leads the other Bears to the ring and they get there. As they do, Bearoin leans on the ring, seemingly catching his breath. Dancing Bear stumbles up the steel steps and climbs into the ring, struggling to get his bear head in. Bearbituates rolls in, still holding his head while Bearijuana just wanders around the ring, waving randomly to the crowd.

Knots: “Good to see these stereotyp- I mean totally legitimate faces of Bear out here, greeting the fans. I’d stay away from em.”

Sharper: “Lexy Chapel just insulting Nicole Kinneck and her legitimate mental health issues with this. And Nicole Kinneck meanwhile, with Pro in the driver’s seat, who has come out to protect Ducky, after Dancing Bear shoved her back at Trios Tournament. Ducky just loved the Farmstead.”

Knots: “But as is so frequent, don’t meet your heroes. Especially if they’re dressed in smelly bear suits!”

The lights go out in the arena as Ducky’s giggles and laughter fill the air. The crowd’s cheers come alive as few groups begin to quack. The speakers crackle before a woman’s voice washes over them.

“It’s my turn—
—do you see me now?”

Red strobe lights flicker and illuminate the  entrance way as smoke wraps around a woman’s flickering silhouette. On the tron above her in bold red font flashes:

{ { { PRO } } }

The crowd roars as “Bow Down” by I Prevail rips through the speakers.

“GET ON YOUR KNEES
AND
BOW
DOOOOOOWWNN”

Kinneck throws her head forward, stirring up the smoke as she whips her hair back and into a headbang before punching her fist into the air.

“YEEEAHHH!”

She burst through the smoke yelling the lyrics towards the crowd as she makes her way down the ramp in her tight black wrestling outfit. A few fans sharing their love for the song scream the lyrics back at her as if they were at a concert.

Phillips: “Their opponent, from St. Louis, Missouri, she is Pro!”

”Yeah, I come alive, I'll survive, take on anything
So paint a target on my back, let 'em come for me-”

She grazes past a few desperate hands reaching out for her at the bottom of the ramp. She stops as we see Bearijuana stepping over, having done a lap around the ring. He waves to the crowd and then turns and looks at Pro. Pro just glares at him. Dancing Bear walks over.

Bear: “Get in the ring!”

Bearijuana waves him off, before pointing to himself and then turns before reaching out, only for Pro to run at him and spear him back hard into the steel steps. The top half bowls off the top half as Pro rolls through and Bearijuana rolls over too. Pro then grabs him and drags him up and turns and just manhandles Bearijuana throwing over the barricade and into the crowd. Nicole then turns as her music stops.

Sharper: “Oh my! One down!”

Knots: “Well…uh…Bearijuana…maybe something a bit less chill is going to work here!”

Sharper: “And it’s three on one! And here comes Pro!”

Pro slides into the ring. She gets up as Dancing Bear stands in the middle, arms out, suddenly losing his confidence. Bearoin leans against the ropes while Bearbituates remains holding his head. Bear looks around as the bell sounds. The crowd roars as Bear looks at his two other “Faces” and they all look at each other and run at Pro. Pro gets a shot in on Dancing Bear, before the three Bears all start to club away on Pro, causing her to drop to her hands and knees and they keep pummeling her. The crowd boos, although a few cheer, as the Bears get their shots in.

Sharper: “Three on one. This is just a mugging now.”

Knots: “Pro may be in the driver’s seat, but she’s still in a small woman’s body!”

Dancing Bear turns and steps back and then flosses in celebration as Bearbituates and Bearoin get a few more shots in. Bear spins around and then goes for a splits, before stopping and falling back, holding himself in pain. Bearoin and Bearbituates turn to one another before running in opposite directions. They then run at Pro, but Pro moves out of the way as the two hit one another. Bearoin goes down as Bearbituates staggers around. The crowd roars. Nicole then turns and nails Bearbituates with repeated right hands, just nailing him over and over and over. Bearbituates ends up to the ropes and Pro just kicks at him violently, kicking him wherever she can. Bearoin turns and gets up and runs over to Pro, but Pro then turns and spears him down. She rolls through and gets up. Dancing Bear starts to recover, unaware as we see Bearbituates pulling himself to the apron, only for Pro to run at him and jump up and throw her body into him, sending him off the apron and hard into the barricade. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “And Bearbituates off the apron!”

Knots: “That’s going to be an Excedrin headache for sure!”

Pro then turns as Bearoin gets up and runs at her and Pro ducks a shot. Bearoin hits the ropes and turns around and Pro then just punches Bearoin in the nose. He hits the mat. Pro then turns and climbs up to the middle turnbuckle. She looks at Dancing Bear as he starts to get up. Bearoin stirs and Pro stands on the middle turnbuckle before diving off and hitting a vicious double stomp to his head. Bearoin rolls over, holding his head and rolling out of the ring. Pro then turns and looks at Dancing Bear as he gets up. The crowd roars.

Sharper: “And this has gone the worst way for Dancing Bear!”

Knots: “Think back to your training! The training no one else got! Think to Cocaine Bear!”

Sharper: “Clearly Lexy just found some people and put them in Bear suits…but now Dancing Bear…former World Tag Team Champion!”

Dancing Bear then lets out a “roar” and runs forward to Pro. Pro ducks and Dancing Bear hits the ropes, bouncing off and Pro nails him with a hard right and then another and another. She jumps up and climbs onto him before clubbing him in the nose a few times, but Dancing Bear manages to run her into the corner. Pro winces. Dancing Bear turns and rears back and drives his back into her. He holds onto the top ropes and then drives his ass into her again. Dancing Bear turns and just swats her in the head. Pro stumbles out and Bear runs at her and clotheslines her down. He goes for the pin.

Pro kicks out. She rolls over and starts to get up. Bear swats at her back once and then again before grabbing her and throwing her down. Pro falls to her hands and knees. Bear then runs at her and grabs her, but Pro drills him with a back elbow to the stomach. Dancing Bear falls to his knees. Pro runs into the ropes, bounces off and hits a vicious kick to the ribs of Dancing Bear.

Sharper: “A hard kick! Pro fighting back. Dancing Bear putting up some fight.”

Knots: “If only Lexy was here. She was his confidence! She was his muse!”

Dancing Bear turns and Pro stomps away at him over and over and over, focusing on the body, where the Bear suit offers the least amount of protection.

She then kicks the snout, causing some white powder to go flying. Pro steps back and sees Bearoin, Bearbituates and Bearijuana all fighting to get back into the ring. Pro runs over and dropkicks Bearijuana off the apron and he falls to the apron. Pro turns and runs over and nails Bearbituates with a hard right and then another before spinning him around and into Bearoin who goes up and over the top rope to the floor. Pro then grabs Bearbituates and manages to hit a variation of the Mental Breakdown. The crowd roars. Pro turns around and Dancing Bear hits a running body avalanche. He then falls onto her for the pin.

Pro pushes herself up and rolls over. Dancing Bear rolls off.

Sharper: “Oh that was close! Dancing Bear nearly pinned Pro!”

Knots: “Would that solve it though?”

Pro gets up and Dancing Bear grabs her and pulls her up, but Pro drills him in the ribs with another elbow before Pro runs into the ropes and bounces off and drills him with a speat. Dancing Bear turns, holding his ribs. He turns as Pro then grabs him from behind and locks in a sleeper hold! The crowd roars. Dancing Bear reaches out and starts to get up. Pro holds on and then twists before twisting the Dancing Bear head around to be 180 degrees, facing in the opposite direction. Bear just falls to a knee, his arms out. Pro just steps back and looks at him. She then stops, squinting as the crowd roars. Pro holds her head.

Knots: “Oh no! She broke Dancing Bear’s neck!”

Sharper: “He’s wearing a costume-“

Knots: “And Pro has metaphorically broke his neck!”

Sharper: “Meanwhile, Pro…is she okay?”

Pro shakes it off before motioning with her hands to calm down. Pro then runs into the ropes behind Dancing Bear as he gets up and Pro just drills him at full speed with a vicious spear to the back. Bear falls to his stomach. Pro then rolls through. She gets up, looking down, holding her head again, clearly closing her eyes. She then slaps her head and yells out.

Pro: “Ducky! I got it! I’ll GET IT!”

Pro lets out a yell before turning and exiting to the apron. She climbs up to the top rope. Dancing Bear remains down, struggling a bit as Pro scales to the top rope. She then looks around before looking down at Bear and then closing her eyes. She then dives off and hits a senton splash. The crowd ohs. Pro rolls Bear over and leans on him for the pin.

The crowd roars as Pro rolls off. The bell sounds.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Pro!”

Sharper: “And Pro showing restraint at the end. Covering Bear…”

Knots: “Awww…I was hoping for blood!”

Sharper: “I think we all thought it. She yelled something at the end…was Ducky trying to get through? Ducky loved Bear…”

Knots: “I don’t know, but whatever happened…Pro won, but now is just looking at Dancing Bear…”

Pro slides back and looks at him and closes her eyes. She then slaps her head a bit before shaking her head. She then looks at Dancing Bear before walking over and kneeling next to him. She leans over and whispers something to him. Bear flinches a bit and Pro pushes down on him so he can’t leave before finishing her message. She pushes away and rolls across the ring and to the floor.

Sharper: “And now saying something to him…A message…”

Knots: “Even forcing him to listen to it…”

Pro looks in the ring as Dancing Bear remains down. Shots of the other bears down are shown before Pro starts to head to the back. She talks to herself the entire time as cameras follow her and the scene cuts away.

We open up with a shot of a poker table. We see several individuals wearing suits or fancy dresses before we hear a “YEE-HAW!” Kimberly Williams is leaning on the table, holding her cards up as the flop comes on the table.

Kim: “Blackjack!”

Man to her left: “Miss…this is poker?”

Kim: “Go fish!”

The man sighs.

Dealer: “Miss…that’s not the right game. Just what cards do you have?”

Kim: “I would like to buy a vowel!”

Woman across the table: “That’s not even a card game!”

Kim: “Fine!”

Kim throws the cards down. They’re a six of clubs and a three of hearts. Given the other cards, she has nothing. The other people laugh.

Kim: “Well let’s try again!”

Kim pushes her chips in the table anyways.

Dealer: “Miss…you’ve already put the cards up.”

Kim: “And I want to put these up!”

Kim smiles. The camera turns to the dealer.

Dealer: “I’m going to need security-“

Kim: “Oh. I can help there too.”

The camera turns back to Kim who now has Betty White in her hand.

The camera cuts to the “SCW Playing the Wildcard” logo as we hear the sounds of chaos and screaming in the background.

“SCW presents Playing the Wildcard, live on Sunday, April 23, 2023, only on pay per view!”

The logo remains on the screen for a moment longer before we cut back to the table where now Kim is the dealer with the stuffed penguin Wasley sitting across from her. A blackjack is in front of him.

Kim: “How the hell do you have a Blackjack!”

Caligula, the hamster, is also next to her. We hear a voice coming from him.

Caligula: “CHEATER!”

The scene cuts away.

Asher Hayes vs. Josh Hudson

SCW United States Championship

The opening riff to "Smooth Sailing" by Queens of the Stone Age kicks in. At the 11 second mark, the name "Asher Hayes" blares through the PA system, and Asher appears on the stage, wearing a long leather jacket and sunglasses.

“It's all in motion, no stoppin' it now
I got nothing to lose and only one way up
I'm burning bridges, I destroy the mirage
All visions of collisions, fucking bon voyage"

He makes his way down the ramp as the reaction of the crowd rain down upon him. He walks up the ring steps and climbs to the top turnbuckle, lifting both fists into the air, slinging the jacket off his shoulders, simply looking at the crowd before dropping down and running to the opposite side.

“I got bruises and hickies, stitches and scars
Got my own theme music, plays wherever I are
Fear is the hand that pulls your strings
A useless toy, pitiful plaything
I'm in flagrante
In every way
Every day"

He stands, once again, on the top rope. He tosses his shades out to the crowd, as he looks toward the ceiling, before dropping down, removing his jacket and handing it to the ref.

"It's all smooth sailing
From here on out
I'm gon' do the damage
That needs getting done"

Asher then leans into the corner, waiting for the match to begin.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is for the SCW United States Championship! Introducing first, from Chicago, Illinois…the challenger…Asher! Hayes!”

"Duality” by Slipknot blares through the PA system. The cameras show the crowd who begin cheering before zooming in at the entrance way, where Josh Hudson steps out, carrying the SCW United States Championship. He wears a sleeveless black hoodie as he slowly makes his way down the ramp. He reaches the bottom of the ramp, and he looks out to the crowd before making his way up the ring steps and climbs into the ring. He goes to the bottom right-hand corner, climbing to the top rope, and staring out at the crowd once again, as he lifts a fist and the U.S. title into the air, earning more cheers before he climbs down, hands the title to the referee, and leans into the turnbuckle, waiting for the match to begin.

The ref hands the title to the timekeeper before the bell rings. Both men bolt from their corners, going straight to the center of the ring. Both men are shown talking trash to one another.

Sharper: “Josh Hudson and Asher Hayes. They’re not strangers to one another. This one will be nothing short of a fight.”

Hudson pushes Asher back before unloading with a right hand. Asher comes back with a right hand of his own. Hudson grabs Asher by the back of the head and both men begin landing rights. Asher lands a right before shoving Hudson back a bit, before hooking his legs and driving Hudson to the mat. Both men return to punching one another, before Hudson rolls over onto Asher. Hudson grabs Asher’s left arm and tries to lock in a hold, but Asher blasts him with a right hand. Hudson rolls away as Asher gets to one knee.

Hudson sits up as Asher charges, only for Hudson to plant Asher with a spine buster. Hudson gets back to his feet and goes to grab Asher’s left leg, but Asher kicks him with his right. Hudson staggers back as Asher gets to his feet. Asher charges then leaps up and connects with a flying forearm, taking Hudson off his feet. Hudson hits the mat. Asher gets to his feet and grabs Hudson, pulling him up, only for Hudson to connect with a European uppercut. Asher staggers back only for Hudson to grab him and send Asher flying to the mat with an overhead belly to belly suplex.

Knots: “And here Hudson comes with the suplexes.”

Sharper: “He’s a master of the suplex, that’s for sure. Asher doesn’t want to get caught. He’ll need to keep moving.”

Knots: “Hudson clearly has no issue with keeping his opponent moving. He just helped Asher take flight.”

Asher pushes himself up, only for Hudson to grab him by the waist, before hitting a German suplex. Hudson doesn’t break the hold however, as he power lifts Asher up, hitting another German.

Sharper: “That’s two Germans.”

Hudson hits another.

Knots: “And a third. How much you want to bet he hits a fourth?”

Hudson hits a fourth German.

Sharper: “Can he hit a fifth?”

Hudson lifts Asher off the mat once again, going for a fifth but Asher lands a back elbow. He lands another, then a third and Hudson finally breaks the hold. Hudson staggers back, only for Asher to bounce off the ropes, taking Hudson down with a bulldog. Hudson hits the mat before rolling over onto his back. Asher runs and jumps onto the ropes, flipping backwards, connecting with the Ash-Sault. Asher doesn’t go for the cover.

Getting to his feet, Asher pulls Hudson up, hitting two right hands, before pulling Hudson into a vertical suplex. Asher swings his legs around, pulling Hudson up with him, before hitting a second vertical.

Knots: “Asher going for his own series of suplexes it seems.”

Asher pulls Hudson up again, hitting a third vertical. Asher pushes himself up and runs into the ropes. Coming off the ropes, Asher does a front flip, into a leg drop. Asher hooks the leg.

2

Hudson kicks out. Asher pulls Hudson up, and goes to whip him into the corner, but Hudson reverses, pulling Asher into another overhead belly to belly suplex. Hudson grabs Asher, but Asher hits a European uppercut. Asher goes to grab Hudson, but Hudson quickly grabs his arm and pulls Asher into a crossface. Hudson pulls back while the ref checks on Asher.

Sharper: “Hudson getting the submission locked in.”

Knots: “Asher’s still in this thing, though. He keeps telling the ref no!”

Asher manages to pull one arm away from Hudson, who keeps the crossface locked in. Asher pushes up with both arms, before flipping over onto Hudson, going for a pin while Hudson maintains the submission.

1

Sharper: “Hudson keeping the crossface locked in.”

2

Knots: “He’s at risk of losing this match.”

Hudson gets his shoulder up, breaking the hold in the process.

Sharper: “Hudson kept the hold locked in for as long as he could. Came close to losing the match and his championship.”

Knots: “Who knows what sort of damage he’s done however.”

Both men get to their feet and rush towards one another, exchanging fists once again, before Asher goes for a left hook. Hudson dunks under, spinning Asher around. Hudson hooks Asher around the waist before delivering a German suplex. Hudson keeps his grip, lifting Asher up and hitting a second German. Hudson lifts him up again and hits a third, followed by a fourth.

Sharper: “Hudson on a roll once again.”

Hudson hits a fifth German, before lifting Asher up and landing with a sixth, releasing Asher in the process. Asher hits the mat and Hudson covers him.

Asher kicks out!

Sharper: “Asher still showing some fight!”

Hudson picks Asher up, but Asher hits a European uppercut, before hooking Hudson and leaping up, planting Hudson with a tornado DDT. Asher is then shown pulling himself up with the ropes, before he begins to stalk Hudson. Hudson is shown pushing himself up, getting to one knee and using the ropes to get to his feet. Hudson turns as Asher charges, spearing Hudson through the ropes, as both men fall to the floor.

Sharper: “Both men crashing to the outside. That’s how bad both these men want to win. They’ll do whatever they feel is necessary.”

Both men are shown getting to their feet. They turn and face one another before Hudson lands a right. Asher fires back with a right of his own. Hudson hits another right. He goes for another, but Asher dunks under, then hooks Hudson, and takes him down with a belly to back suplex.

Knots: “Watching this match, you have to think this is about more than just the U.S. Championship.”

Sharper: “These two men do not like one another. They not only want to be U.S. Champion, but they want to be World Champion as well. It’s about outdoing your opponent on every level.”

Asher walks over to the timekeeper’s table and grabs the U.S. Championship, before walking over to Hudson. Hudson blasts Asher with a right hook before grabbing him and rolling him into the ring. Hudson grabs the title and slides into the ring.

Hudson: “Keep your hands off my fucking championship!”

Sharper: “Hudson with some choice words for his challenger.”

Asher gets to his feet and Hudson meets him. They are shown jawing with one another, before Hudson drops the title and hits Asher with a right hand, followed by a second. Hudson lifts Asher onto his shoulders.

Knots: “Hudson clearly not a fan of Asher touching the title. Is he going to put him to sleep?”

Asher begins to drive elbows into the side of Hudson’s head. Hudson staggers, before Asher drops down behind Hudson, pulling him a schoolboy pin, as the ref goes for the count.

3…NOOO!!!

Hudson kicks out and sits up. His eyes wide with disbelief.

Sharper: “I think Hudson realizes he almost lost there.”

Both men get to their feet. The ref can be shown carrying the U.S. title over towards the ropes where the timekeeper is standing. Hudson stops the ref, snatching the title from him. Hudson looks at the belt then at Asher who charges over, landing rights, as Hudson staggers back, trying to block with his left, while holding the title in his right. Hudson kicks Asher in the right knee, dropping Asher a bit. Hudson looks at the title then at Asher before driving the belt into the side of Asher’s skull. The ref immediately calls for the bell, before getting in between both men.

The crowd begins to boo.

Sharper: “The crowd clearly not happy with the result. Hudson getting himself purposely disqualified.”

Phillips: “Ladies and gentlemen, as a result of a disqualification, here is your winner…Asher Hayes!”

Asher is shown using the ropes to pull himself up as the ref works to keep Hudson at bay.

Knots: “I don’t think the U.S. Champion gives a damn about the ruling.”

Hudson can be heard speaking towards Asher.

Hudson: “You trying to take all this away from me? Over my dead fucking body!”

Hudson tries to bypass the ref again. Asher goes towards Hudson. Both men go nose to nose, jawing with one another, as the ref tries to get in between them. More refs and agents like Dean Black and Dillusion make their way into the ring, trying to keep Hudson and Asher separated.

Asher: “I came back to be champion. You ain’t gonna stop me!”

Dean and Dillusion, along with the other refs, back both men into different corners, creating distance, while the crowd can be heard chanting, “Let Them Fight!”

Sharper: “Alright, ladies and gentlemen, as we try to regain order…we’ll see two individuals will very different ideas of how to compete – Datura faces James Evans inside a steel cage!”

A recap video plays showing the history between Datura and James Evans.

Datura vs. James Evans

Steel Cage Match

The opening of “What's Going On" can be heard blaring through the PA system. The camera will pan through the curtain as the face of James Evans appears, igniting a negative reaction from the crowd, as they shower him in jeers. The camera remains on James as he breaks through the curtain. The boos intensify as James looks out at the crowd.

"Mother, mother
There's too many of you crying
Brother, brother, brother
There's far too many of you dying
You know we've got to find a way
To bring some lovin' here today, yeah"

James slowly makes his way to the ring, as images of him winning various championships and hitting various moves appear on the screen. James reaches the ring and makes his way up the ring steps, before turning and facing the crowd.

"Father, father
We don't need to escalate
You see, war is not the answer
For only love can conquer hate
You know we've got to find a way
To bring some lovin' here today"

James then steps into the ring and walks to the center of it, removing his black hoodie, maintaining his focus.

"Picket lines and picket signs
Don't punish me with brutality
Talk to me
So you can see
Oh, what's going on (What's going on)
What's going on (What's going on)
What's going on (What's going on)
What's going on (What's going on)""

James then goes to the corner and sits on the top turnbuckle, his back to the crowd, as the screen shows James lifting the SCW World title above his head, as his music comes to an end.

As the opening notes of Sleep Token’s “The Offering” bounce around the arena, the lights go completely black. Two blue lights on either side of the ramp suddenly burst onto the stage, revealing clouds of fog billowing down the aisle. As the guitar begins to pick up, the lights flicker on beat. As the drums finally kick in, and the music explodes into intensity, Datura slinks onto the stage, a devious smirk on her face. She turns to the left, then right, staring into the sea of cell phone lights. Extending her arms outward, Datura spins, basking in the light. When the music softens, she begins making her way to the ring.

“And you are a garden entwined with all
You are the silence on sacred shores
You’ve got diamonds for teeth, my love
So take a bite of me just once.”

Datura stalks down the ramp before climbing onto the apron and wiping her boots. After stepping through the ropes, she immediately makes her way to the corner and climbs up the turnbuckles before taking a seat on the top one.

“I want to turn the page once again.
Take a bite.”

The music explodes once again, and with these final words, Datura leans back and hangs from ropes in her own tree of woe. Unblinking, she stares across the ring to the opposite corner wearing the same devious smirk she wore when she left the curtain.

The cage begins to lower as Phillips makes his announcement.

Phillips: “The following contest is a steel cage match! It can be won by pinfall, submission, or escaping the cage. Introducing first, from New York City, New York…he is…James! Evans!”

The crowd boos.

Phillips: “And his opponent, from Tampa, Florida…she is…Datura!”

The crowd cheers before cameras show the cage surrounding the ring. Cameras then show Datura looking at James, who appears calm. The bell rings. Datura steps into the center of the ring, motioning for James to bring it. James slowly steps out of his corner, he lifts his arms up, like he wants to hug. The crowd boos loudly. The cameras pick up James talking.

James: “It doesn’t have to be this way.”

The crowd continues to boo. Datura looks out at the crowd before back at James as she smirks. She can be heard responding, as she shrugs.

Datura: “Fine. We can try it your way.”

Datura grabs James, pulling him into a side headlock. Datura drops to one knee, maintaining her grip.

Sharper: “Datura willing to meet James halfway it seems. He didn’t want a fight but looks like she’s okay with exchanging holds.”

James brings his hands together, interlocking his fingers before lifting Datura up and bringing her down with a belly to back suplex. Keeping her on the mat, James locks in a headlock of his own.

Knots: “James is using his size to his advantage. Smart strategy.”

Datura tries to break free, but James appears to lean into his hold, using his weight to keep Datura grounded. James quickly shifts, transitioning himself on top of Datura’s back, locking in a chin lock.

Sharper: “I believe you’re right. James in firm control. With of all things, a chin lock.”

The crowd boos and begins to chant.

Crowd: “Boring! Boring!”

Sharper: “The crowd letting James know how they feel.”

Knots: “This is wrestling. It’s what they paid to see, am I right?”

James breaks the hold and flips over onto his back, locking in another headlock. He uses his weight to keep Datura on the mat for a few moments, before climbing to his feet, maintaining the headlock. Datura drives her forearm into James’ back. James winces as she lands another forearm. James’ grip loosens and Datura drives her elbow into his ribs. James breaks away before Datura rolls him up in a schoolboy.

Datura breaks up her own pin. James looks up at her as she smirks, before motioning for him to bring it. James nods as he climbs to his feet. They engage in a tie-up. James pulls her into another headlock. The crowd boos once again. Datura reaches up and rakes James’ eyes. James breaks the hold and staggers away. The crowd cheers. Datura runs up and dropkicks James into the ropes. James hits the ropes and bounces off, only for Datura to hit a bicycle knee strike. James slumps into the ropes, before Datura climbs to the top of the turnbuckle. Datura then leaps towards James, driving her feet into his head, driving his head into the cage. The crowd cheers.

Knots: “Datura clearly doesn’t like the idea of having a civilized competition.”

Sharper: “This is a cage match. Anything goes. She can do whatever she wants.”

James pushes himself to one knee and Datura hits another running knee. James hits the mat and Datura drives her into knee into his chest as she begins to land elbow after elbow.

Sharper: “Datura is in control now, letting James know that his way isn’t going to do him any favors. It’s survival of the fittest in SCW just in case he’s forgotten.”

Datura lands another elbow before getting to her feet. James is shown grimacing in pain, before slowly pushing himself up. Datura clubs him in the back of the head before she whips him into the cage. James flies back to the mat. Datura grabs him by his hair as she speaks.

Datura: “We’re gonna play by my rules now!”

The crowd cheers before Datura whips James into the corner. Datura follows it up with a running knee. Datura steps back before charging. James grabs her, lifting Datura up, before she goes face first into the top of the turnbuckle. Datura slumps into the corner, her face pressed into the padding as James is shown collecting himself.

Knots: “Datura getting a little overzealous. A little confident. And it cost her.”

Sharper: “Even with the padding, Datura’s bell has to be rung after that.”

James grabs Datura and spins her around, as he speaks.

James: “Are you okay?”

The crowd boos.

Sharper: “Did he really ask if she was okay?”

Knots: “What’s wrong with that?”

Datura spits in James’ face, as the crowd cheers. James exhales sharply, wiping the spit from his face before spinning Datura around again, and driving her head into the turnbuckle. He does it again, and goes for a third, before stopping and stepping away, looking shocked. Datura slumps to the mat as James is shown shaking his head.

Sharper: “James looks like he realized that he’s crossed the line. A line he didn’t want to cross.”

Knots: “She spit in his face.”

James goes over to Datura and pulls her up. She manages to hit him with a European uppercut. James staggers back. Datura is shown leaning into the ropes, her head buried in her hands. James runs over and rolls her up.

Datura kicks out. James gets to his feet and looks down at her as she is shown using the ropes to pull herself up.

Sharper: “Datura is in a bad way, but she’s still trying to fight.”

James rolls her up again, and the crowd boos.

Datura kicks out again. The crowd cheers. James gets to his feet.

James: “Stay down! It doesn’t have to be like this!”

The crowd boos as James goes to grab Datura, but she hits a spinning back fist. James drops to one knee. Datura hits a front kick to the face, before hooking James and planting him with a DDT. Datura lies on the mat afterwards.

Sharper: “Datura dropped James but she’s struggling to make the cover.”

Datura manages to finally pull herself onto James.

James kicks out!

Knots: “James is still in this thing!”

Both climb to their feet, with James getting up a little quicker than Datura. James grabs her and spins her around.

James: “It’s over. Just…”

Datura connects with a right hand. James shoves her back as hard as he can. Datura bounces off the ropes and James grabs her, locking in a guillotine.

Sharper: “Datura fighting still, but now James has her in a submission.”

Knots: “And there is nowhere for her to go.”

Sharper: “Datura is a fighter. She wanted this match. She’s not going down without a fight.”

The referee checks on Datura who can be heard shouting.

Ref: “Can you continue?”

Datura: “YES!”

The crowd begins to chant for Datura, as James can be heard.

James: “It’s okay. You can stop it. It’s okay.”

Sharper: “James encouraging Datura to give up. I’m not sure he’s met her.”

Knots: “He’s looking out for her best interest.”

The ref checks on Datura once again, as James is shown squeezing a little tighter, shaking his head no, as the camera picks up James saying that he doesn’t want to do this. And then, the ref lifts Datura’s arm and lets it fall to the mat.

Ref: “One…”

The ref lifts her arm once again. It falls to the mat a second time.

Ref: “Two…”

Sharper: “Come on Datura! Fight through it!”

The ref lifts her arm and Datura’s arm falls to the mat a third time.

Ref: “Three.”

The crowd begins to boo as the ref calls for the bell. James is shown sighing as “What’s Goin’ On” begins to play through the PA system. James breaks the hold and keeps his eyes on Datura as he rises to his feet.

Phillips: “Here is your winner…James! Evans!”

The crowd continues to boo as James is shown walking slowly around the ring, now looking at the fans. The cameras pick up what James is saying.

James: “You did this. You all did this.”

The cameras show the referee checking on Datura as James is then shown walking towards the cage door. It’s opened and he goes to step out, before looking at Datura once again. He shakes his head before climbing out of the cage.

Sharper: “Datura fought until there was nothing left for her to do. She wasn’t pinned. She didn’t submit. Nothing can be taken from her here tonight.”

James is shown walking up the ramp, his eyes still on the ring as Datura is shown slowly coming to. Another shot of James is shown before we cut away.

A recap video plays showing the history between Simon Lyman and Kandis.

Simon Lyman vs. Kandis

The opening of "Whore" by In This Moment fills the arena as red and pink lights swirl around...

{I'm the girl you've been thinking about, The one thing you can't live without
I'm the girl you've been waiting for
I'll have you down on your knees, I'll have you begging for more}

The cameras focus on the entrance way as we see headlights before we see a 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLS SUV pulling out from the entrance way. The crowd boos some more as the car drives forward. The SUV makes it way down the rampway as the tinted windows hide a clear view of Kandis. The SUV reaches the ringside area and comes to a stop. A few moments pass before the driver’s side door opens and Kandis steps out from the SUV. She slams the door closed and steps around the SUV. She looks around.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a thirty minute time limit. First, on her way to the ring, from Santa Barbara, California, she is Kandis!”

She glances at the crowd and smirks before Kandis goes up the ring steps and enters the ring through the second and top rope slowly, making sure to show off her ass. The heavy music fades out as Kandis goes to her corner.

Sharper: “Kandis arriving in one of the spoils of her winning the End of the Year Open Invitational.”

Knots: “Yeah, and she probably wishes she could run Lyman over instead.”

Sharper: “Well this is going to be interesting. Years in the making. What will we see…”

A few moments pass as a “Simon!” chant breaks out throughout the AT&T Center. Kandis looks around and glares at the fans as the cameras pan across the crowd. “Hero” by Skillet starts to play as the crowd erupts in cheers.

I’m just a step away

I’m just a breath away

Losin’ my faith today (Fallin’ off the edge today)

I am just a man

Not superhuman (I’m not superhuman)

Someone save me from the hate

We then see Simon Lyman, dressed in his wrestling attire step out from the back. He looks out at the crowd as they cheer some more. He looks around the stadium, savouring the moment. Kandis squats in the corner, stretching out and getting ready for the match. Simon Lyman then steps forward and looks down before throwing his arms in the air as pyro shoots from the stage. The crowd cheers some more. Simon Lyman then starts to make his way down the rampway.

Phillips: “And her opponent, from Columbus, Ohio, he is Simply Sensational, Simon Lyman!”

The crowd continues to look on as Kandis watches him in the ring. Lyman makes his way down the rampway before stopping at the SUV. He looks at it and the nods before walking around it and then steps in front of it. He looks at Kandis as Kandis just looks at him with disgust. Lyman then steps up to the ring and hops onto the apron. The crowd cheers. He turns and enters the ring and spins around a bit before stopping and looking around. He then turns to Kandis. Lyman backs off and takes off his entrance attire. He turns and places it over the top rope as a crew member takes it and turns around and stretches. The music fades out as the crowd roars.

Sharper: “Simon Lyman’s last official match was on July 30, 2017. He faced his long-time friend Donovan Kayl in a classic. Tonight, he returns for the first time and for one more run and it starts tonight against Kandis!”

Knots: “And it may be his last match of his return if Kandis does what she wants. Lyman says he’s cleared. SCW says he’s cleared, but is Lyman ready? Can he have the killer instinct he needs to face someone like Kandis?!”

Sharper: “Well, Jon, we’ll find out. Here we go.”

Kandis looks at Simon as Simon looks around. Kandis jaws at him. Simon says nothing as the official, Steve Hollinsworth, calls for the bell. The bell sounds and Kandis steps up as Simon steps forward only for Kandis to just smack him. The crowd ohs and Simon turns away. Kandis just shakes her head as Simon nods.

Sharper: “Oh my…”

Knots: “Well…welcome back to the ring!”

Simon then looks up as Kandis jaws at him before forearming him in the jaw. She nails him a second time. Simon stumbles back and Kandis nails Simon again, a third shot. She moves Simon into the corner and then pushes back on his chest and jaw. Kandis yells at him as Hollinsworth calls for the break.

Knots: “Stomping away and going for the head. Going for anything.”

Sharper: “And look at that smile on her face.”

Kandis smirks as she looks at the crowd. Lyman turns and grabs at the ropes and pulls himself up and Kandis walks over and kicks him in the ribs. Lyman stumbles back into the corner. Kandis looks at him and leans in.

Knots: “She didn’t miss.”

Kandis smiles as she rolls over. She starts to get up and winces as she does. The official goes to raise her arm, but she pulls away. Kandis then moves to the ropes. She looks down as Simon remains down. Kandis turns back before rolling to the floor. She then walks around the ring. She walks past the timekeeper’s table before stopping and turning back. She then turns and grabs the hammer and ring bell before turning and rolling back into the ring. The crowd roars as Lyman stirs a bit.

Sharper: “Kandis has the ring bell!”

Knots: “What’s she doing? She won!”

Sharper: “She said she’d take him out there. Lyman’s still moving!”

Kandis gets up and walks over and stands over Lyman. The official, Steve Hollinsworth, goes to stop her, but Kandis shoves him down. She snaps at him to stay out of her way. She turns back to Lyman.

Kandis: “I told you you shouldn’t have come back! I told you!”

Kandis then turns and stands over Lyman. She holds the hammer in one hand and the ringbell in the other.

Kandis: “The bell has rung on your career, Simon!”

The crowd makes noise as Kandis places the ringbell against Lyman’s head. The crowd roars getting louder and louder as Kandis leans forward, saying something to him. As she does, we see Amy Chastaine slide into the ring, having bolted down the rampway. She gets up as Kandis turns and sees her and Kandis turns and swings the ringbell. Amy ducks and jumps to the ropes and twists back with the Blackout on Kandis. Kandis hits the mat and rolls out of the ring. The crowd erupts.

Sharper: “Amy Chastaine! Saving Lyman! Watching her co-trainer from Blackout Academy! I didn’t know she was here!”

Knots: “Thank God she was! Blackout on Kandis!”

Lyman turns and looks up as Amy Chastaine turns and looks at Kandis before turning back to Lyman. Lyman nods before pointing to Hollinsworth. Chastaine turns and helps Lyman up before turning and checking on Hollinsworth. The crowd erupts in cheers as Chastaine gets up and backs up and stands with Lyman. Lyman looks around, wincing a bit. The two stand in the ring, looking around.

Sharper: “What a moment! Amy Chastaine saving Simon Lyman! And Dallas is on their feet!”

The Retribution logo comes up on the screen as we then see a still for Syren vs. Xander Valentine.

Knots: “Well more legends are going to fighting and it’s not going to be as respectful as Amy and Simon are to one another!”

Sharper: “Syren and Xander Valentine about to clash and this relationship has deteriorated over the last two months. Tonight, they meet!”

A recap video plays showing the history between Syren and Xander Valentine.

Syren vs. Xander Valentine

The lights in the arena plunge into darkness. A pulsing sound plays out across the PA system as the fans cheer. We cut to the backstage area where we see a tour bus with Syren’s logo on the side. Syren walks out in her full ring gear, complete with black ring jacket and pink halter-top/black tights. She begins walking into the arena as we cut back to inside to see the fans reacting. “Groupie” by Cassie Steele then hits as we see one of the doors opening and Syren walking through. She pauses to take in the atmosphere before walking down toward the ring.

Sinfully Seductive

Captivatingly Corrupt

DARK FANTASY

Syren walks along one of the walkways behind the fans as cameras follow her along. She then walks over to another walkway and starts to take it down to the barricade and over to the timekeeper’s area and walking through. She jumps up onto the apron before climbing the turnbuckles on the outside and waving her hands to get the fans fired up. As the camera gets closer to her, she shouts at the camera before pointing out at the fans.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall with a sixty minute time limit. First, introducing, hailing from Los Angeles, California, this is SYREN!”

Syren smiles before leaping over the top rope and posing in the ring with both her arms outstretched. She screams before taking off her ring jacket and throwing it over the top rope toward the timekeeper’s table. She climbs up on the middle rope, posing for a moment before jumping back down and standing in her corner as her music fades out.

Sharper: “Syren hoping that tonight she can get one back against Xander Valentine. She challenged him months ago. This match happening and since then, respect has been the big thing.”

Knots: “Or lack of it. Ravyn Taylor causing Syren to be looked at a bit more negative by the Executioner. Syren stepping up on Breakdown now. And these two going to go at it.”

Sharper: “Last time they faced, the World Title was on the line. Now, much has changed, including, as you mentioned, a notable rift between these two who previously respected one another.”

A long church bell rings, once- twice- a third time as the crowd explodes. The lights go out as Xander’s voice echoes out over the sound system, increasing the intensity of the crowd’s roar.

“Never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.”

The few opening keystrokes of “Soul on Fire” by Last Internationale chimed. A lull before the storm as the crowd seems to calm for only a moment before Delila Paz’s blues dominate the audio.

“Some are born to kill

Others are born to run

Some need to keep on takin'

Till you ain't got none”

A singular light appears before the curtains, on the other side is the outline of a large man. On the screen, we’re shown Xander Valentine holding onto the bars of a prison cell. He starts to bend the bars before the scene blurs.

“But baby, I wasn't built to die

Lay down and be crucified

Nah, no matter how hard they try

To push me down

Still I rise”

“Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)

Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)”

The curtain drops to reveal Xander. A quick salvo of pyros explodes in front of him before he steps through the smoke with an intense look on his face. He goes from one side of the stage to the next, yelling out to the crowd and throwing up his arms. He then stops at the top of the ramp while Artemis steps up from behind him and throws his arm up into the air. Together they start down the ramp, Xander’s gaze affixed on the ring.

Phillips: “Her opponent, accompanied by Artemis, fighting out of Fort Collins, Colorado… from Rochester, New York, he is the Paragon of Violence, the Executioner, Xander Valentine!”

Suffocate me until I am blue

To preserve my bad worldview

Paranoid, All Eyes On Me

Rumours circle, vultures feed

Baby, I wasn't built to die

Lay down and be crucified

Nah, no matter how hard they try

To push me down

Still I rise

Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)

Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)

Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)

Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)

Xander leaps up onto the apron in a single bound. Artemis joins him by slipping below the bottom rope. Xander climbs up over the top rope and marches straight to the far side of the ring. He throws his arms up again, getting a massive pop. He goes to the opposite side and repeats to garner the same response. He hops down from the rope, and jogs into place, waiting for the bell. Artemis leans up and whispers into his ears before departing with a kiss on his neck.

Sharper: “Xander Valentine ready to fight.”

Knots: “He always is. That’s Xander Valentine.”

Sharper: “Two hall of famers going at it. Two of the best. Arguably, the two absolute best going at it here, one on one.”

Xander Valentine looks at Syren as the crowd buzzes and the crowd cheers. A few moments pass as Xander Valentine stretches out. Knots: “After what Xander Valentine showed Owen Cruze, this has taken on a new level.”

A recap video showing the history between Adam Allocco and Owen Cruze.

Adam Allocco vs. Owen Cruze

SCW World Championship

Jason Phillips stands in the ring.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall with a sixty minute time limit and is for the SCW World Championship!”

The SCW World Championship logo comes across the screen and fades in the corner.

The arena lights shutter off. A single beam of golden light is cast down onto the center of the stage, accompanied by a loud bass rumbling from the sound system. A light snowfall of sliver confetti falls within the pillar of light. The rough guitar chords of 'Wired' by JJ Wilder strike the sound system. Adam steps out, head hung low, into the light. He slowly looks up, a blinding flash of light accompanies him dropping down onto his knee. He raises his arms, almost as if he's calling out to God.

Phillips: “First, the challenger. He is using his Trios Tournament contract for this match. From Rochester, New York, he is the King of HARDStyle, the Renaissance Man, Adam Allocco!”

“Fast cars good life what you waiting for?
Grow up perfect life knocking at your door
I’ve been working for myself since seventeen
Taking orders getting low on self-esteem”

Adam stands up and shoots a pose where he flexes his biceps before kicking his foot up into the air and swinging towards the ramp. He saunters down slowly, while he cocks a wily smile toward any nearby cameras. He forms a triangle with both hands.

“Wake up, same clothes, off I go to hell again
Making money, sinking when I’m trying to swim
I’m tired but I know a guy that has a cure for that
I’m wired, that’s the only way that I stay golden….”

Adam struts up the ring steps, now whipping his jacket to reveal his rehabbed midsection, then posing once more against the ropes out on the apron. He kicks up and over and lands on his feet. He tosses the jacket to the referee nonchalantly.

“There’s something better than this
I crack my teeth, bite down and grab it
Need something better than this
Break through the prison of my habits”

Adam immediately heads over to a corner and forms the triangle hand gesture again.

Sharper: “Adam Allocco using his Trios Tournament contract for this match. He wanted the big stage for the SCW World Championship. And we also know that Kimberly Williams will be using her trios tournament contract on Breakdown in a match that will involve everyone!”

Knots: “Just insanity there. But the big thing is focus on tonight. Adam Allocco wants to focus on tonight. He wants to beat Owen Cruze, beat a Cruze, and be World Champion again!”

The opening rifts to The Black Adam Theme kick in, as mist fills the entranceway. The music stops, a huge explosion rocks the entranceway and Owen jumps, seemingly through the floor and landing on his feet, dropping to one knee and punching the floor. Owen gets to his feet, and looks left and right at the reaction he is getting, a look of focus and determination on his face as he takes in the crowd. The SCW World and Underground Championships are around his waist.

Phillips: “His opponent, from Miami, Florida, he is the SCW Underground Champion and the SCW World Champion, he is Owen Cruze!”

With real intensity, he begins the walk down to the ring, slapping the hand of anyone who offers. The camera follows him down, before we cut behind him to see Kimberly Williams, bandaged up, running down the rampway with a pipe. She runs down the rampway and jumps up and nails Owen in the back. The crowd ohs and boos. Adam smirks.

Sharper: “Wait a minute! Wait a minute! Kimberly Williams! Williams attacking Owen from behind!”

Knots: “She wanted her Underground Title rematch tonight. She didn’t get it.”

Sharper: “Is she forcing the issue?”

Kim then turns around as Owen rolls over.

Kim: “Come on Owen! Let’s fight now!”

Kim nails him in the back again. Owen rolls over again as the crowd boos. Allocco smirks as he looks at the rampway. Kim then walks over and grabs Owen and starts to choke him with the pipe. Owen struggles a bit before Kim throws the pipe down and then walks over to the Underground Championship. She grabs it.

Kim: “This! This should be mine again!”

We see Angelica Jones starting to walk down to the ring, only for Xander Valentine to bolt past her. Kim keeps accosting Owen as Allocco’s eyes widen in the ring. Xander runs over and Kim looks up only for Xander to boot her in the face. Kim rolls back. She rolls over, laughing. She starts to get up and Xander walks over and grabs her and nails her with a hard right. Kim stumbles back. She staggers back, still holding the Underground Championship and Xander runs over and clubs her in the back. She drops it and turns back, only for Xander to nail her with a shot.

Sharper: “Xander Valentine who has made it a mission for Adam Allocco to not get the title, now helping Owen Cruze!”

Knots: “And hard rights to Kim, who even tried to take the Underground Title!”

Xander nails Kim again before Angelica heads over and tries to break it up. Xander shoves her back. Kim turns and nails Xander. Xander fires back. Kim kicks him in the shin. The crowd roars as officials come out to try and break it up. Kim and Xander continue to grab at one another while Angelica fumes before calming herself down. Back at ringside, Owen starts to get up and Allocco rolls to the floor and walks over and grabs him and goes to run him into the ring. Owen rolls through and over. He winces and starts to get up as Allocco then grabs the SCW World Championship. He then heads to the ring as Aaron Demitra tries to stop him. Allocco gets up and points to him before storming over to Phillips, demanding the microphone.

Sharper: “And look at Allocco!”

Knots: “Picking up the pieces!”

Phillips hands him the microphone as Allocco turns to Demitra.

Allocco: “It’s my Trios shot. Come on. Ring the bell. The kid ran from one responsibility. That’s his problem. Thanks Kim!”
