by Holy Wars plays as the Retribution logo comes up on the screen.
“Supreme
Championship Wrestling presents…Retribution 2026!”
The
logo remains on the screen for a few moments before we cut to the inside of
Wembley Stadium in London, England. The crowd roars as pyro shoots out from the
entrance set and high into the air. The pyro display continues for a few
moments longer before spotlights start to shine on the stadium and the crowd
cheers as cameras pan across the screen. We then cut to show the Thunderdome
structure hanging over the ring.
Sharper:
“From Across the Pond, we come to you live from London, England, for
Retribution!”
The
cameras continue to pan across the crowd before we end up at ringside to see
Adam Sharper, Jonathan Knots, and Devon Kayl at the announce position.
Sharper:
“Hello again everyone. Welcome to ringside. Adam Sharper here with Devon Kayl
and Jonathan Knots. And Retribution is here. Capped off by a huge World
Championship match.”
Kayl:
“Syren is going to defend the World Title against Gavin Taylor. Can Syren
manage to survive the chaos that Gavin has brought with him?”
Knots:
“And we’re going to see Cid Turner ride off into the sunset. Just is it going
to be on his back or not? Asher Hayes is hoping so.”
Sharper:
“Add a huge Thunderdome match between Meghan Strader and La Pequena Luz for the
US Title. The Tag Titles on the line too. Several contendership matches. Huge
night here in London!”
David
Striker vs. Kimberly Williams vs. Chris Lawler vs. Oskar Theron
Number
One Contendership to the SCW Underground Championship
The
opening chords of AFI's "I hope you suffer" starts to play as the
video wall blazes to life with the violent and epic SCW history of David
Striker, all of his epic highlights thus far in the company from his wars with
Kimberly Williams to his fall from the top of the scaffold at RTG and then his
insane return on Breakdown is shown as the man himself slowly walks out onto
the entrance way.
Phillips:
“The following contest is scheduled for one fall to determine the number one
contender for the SCW Underground Championship. First, on his way to the ring,
from Cameron, North Carolina, the Dark Horse, David Striker!”
I got
two letters from you
Last
words of the runaway
Your
love was written so true
And now
I can't speak your name
I faced
destruction and you
Just
killed me and walked away
I gave
my heart to the cruel
Now it
will not beat again
As the
song enters its first chorus David Striker heads down to the ring. David
Striker continues to head to the ring, stoically focusing on the task ahead of
him. Once he gets there, he wipes his feet off on the ring apron and slips into
the ring.
No one
will ever know you
Deny
the last one who cares
Intoxicate
with the new
Pretend
I'm no longer there
I
opened my heart to you
You
lied just to reach inside
Now
with the faith you removed
Our
hope for forgiveness dies
David
thumps his chest twice before raising it to the sky before quickly throwing his
ring coat off. He then walks around the ring, awaiting his opponent.
Phillips:
From Boston, Massachusetts…”The Woman Scorned” Kimberly Williams!
The
lights go out, except for a single spotlight at the top of the stage. The
opening chords to “Patient Number 9” by Ozzy Osbourne begins to play. A
haunting voice is heard…
"Is
there a way out of here?"
"Hey,
how long you been here?"
"I
wanna go home"
"Hey,
hahaha"
"Hahaha"
"Excuse
me, could you tell how to get out of here?"
"Hahaha"
"I
want to go home"
"Hahaha"
"Mommy,
mommy"
The
song begins to rage full bore now. Suddenly the lights come back on and
Kimberly Williams is standing at the top of the stage to a loud, mostly
positive, reaction from the fans. A sinister smirk is on her face as she
ponders what she is about to do tonight. She winks at the fans before
pointing towards the ring and making a beeline towards it. She slides
into the ring underneath the bottom rope. Kimberly then poses in the
center of the ring to another loud reaction from the fans. The music
slowly dies down and Kimberly goes to a corner to await the start of the match.
Phillips:
And introducing next, Chris Lawler!
The
dimmed lights cast an atmosphere of anticipation as the arena falls into
darkness, the only illumination coming from the pulsating strobe lights. The
crowd's murmurs fade into a hush as the opening chords of "Warrior"
by Imagine Dragons reverberate through the speakers, electrifying the air with
anticipation.
From
the depths of the darkness, a figure emerges, his silhouette outlined against
the backdrop of flashing lights. With each step, the floor trembles beneath his
feet, echoing the determination that propels him forward. It's Chris Lawler, a
titan among men, his presence commanding attention as he strides purposefully
down the entrance ramp.
His
eyes, a piercing shade of blue, remain fixed on the ring ahead, unwavering in
their focus as if they could pierce through the very fabric of reality.
Ignoring the cacophony of cheers and jeers that surround him, Lawler remains
resolute in his mission, his gaze locked on the squared circle where his
destiny awaits.
As
Lawler reaches the foot of the ring, the strobe lights reach a crescendo,
bathing him in a pulsating glow of light and shadow. With a subtle nod to the
crowd, Lawler ascends the steel steps, each footfall a testament to his
unwavering determination.
Finally,
he steps between the ropes, his presence filling the ring with an aura of
intensity and purpose. Standing tall in the center of the ring, Lawler raises
his gaze to the heavens, a silent vow etched upon his features. Tonight, he
will leave everything in the ring, his spirit unbroken, his resolve unyielding,
as he prepares to face whatever challenges come his way.
Ride
The Lightning by Metallica plays over the sound system as Oskar walks through
the curtain, holding up his Norwegian flag, wearing Norway flame lightning bolt
flag trousers with The European Fiery Nation logo attached to his trousers,
wearing MMA gloves and wrestling boots with Ginny Raab behind him. He gets many
boos as he walks to the ring, ignoring the fans. He stands on the ramp, using
the lightning bolt signals.
Phillips:
“From Oslo, Norway, accompanied by Ginny Raab, he is Oskar Theron!”
He
walks to the ring before sliding under the ropes before holding them open for
Ginny to get in, and he goes on the turnbuckle to do his lightning bolt sign,
with Ginny applauding Oskar before he puts himself in a corner. He holds the
ropes open again for Ginny to leave the ring before turning to the opposite end
of the corner of looking at his opponent, waiting for the match to begin.
The
bell rings. But before any action can commence Kimberly gets the attention of
her three opponents.
Kimberly
Williams: You gotta ask yourselves one question…DO I FEEL LUCKY?
She
whips out a massive water pistol.
Kimberly
Williams: Well do ya? Punks?!
And
with that she begins spraying them in the face with the liquid contained
instead, which isn’t water, it is ghost pepper hot sauce. Then she drops the
water pistol. She picks up the lead weight Wasley and blasts Striker and Lawler
in the gut, doubling both over. She takes a mighty swing at Oskar but he ducks.
Kim then drills Theron with a superkick, and another, and then a third sends
Oskar over the top and to the outside. Kimberly hits the ropes and launches
herself over the top and onto Oskar with a suicide dive.
Sharper:
“And Kimberly Williams bringing back some of her classics-“
Knots:
“Classics? She’s trying to maim them!”
Kayl:
“And right now, Kim happy to be back in chaos!”
Williams
mounts Oskar and rains down right hands. Meanwhile inside the ring Striker and
Lawler have managed to get back to their feet. Striker with stiff palm thrusts,
a roundhouse kick, and a yakuza kick puts Lawler down. Striker with an exploder
suplex to Lawler. The crafty veteran Lawler rolls to the outside but Striker
gives him no reprieve. He goes out after Lawler. David takes off the thin
protective mat revealing the hard concrete. He pulls Lawler up and sets up for
a snap suplex but Lawler blocks it. Lawler with a ddt to Striker on the
concrete. Lawler whips David into the steel steps, dislodging them.
Sharper:
“Lawler sends David Striker hard into the steps.”
Kayl:
“Just keep looking around. Kim and Oscar going at it. Striker and Lawler
fighting. No love lost there!”
Lawler
reaches underneath the ring and produces a Singapore cane. He uses it
repeatedly against Striker’s back. Meanwhile Kim is on the ring apron waiting
for Oskar to get to his feet. She runs and leaps off, attempting a hurricinrana
but he catches her in mid-air with a sit out power bomb on the outside. Oskar
goes over to where Lawler is blasting Striker with the cane. Lawler takes aim
at Oskar but Oskar catches the cane, kicks Lawler in the gut, and then proceeds
to blast Lawler in the head repeatedly with the Singapore cane. Oskar with a
snap suplex on Lawler onto the dislodged steel steps. Before Oskar can do any
more damage he is speared by Striker through the barricade, destroying it as a
result!
Sharper:
“Good lord! Through the barricade! Striker just sent Theron through!”
Knots:
“I see we didn’t bring the good barricade here. Striker just drilled him!”
Meanwhile
Kimberly Williams produces a steel chair wrapped in barbed wire from underneath
the ring. She holds it up proudly and menacingly, drawing cheers from the fans.
Kimberly
Williams: Say hello to my little friend!
Williams
stalks Lawler who has just now pulled himself back to his feet. Kim with a shot
to the back from the barbed wire chair followed by a shot directly to the face
from the barbed wire chair. Kim takes the barbed wire chair and goes onto the
ring apron. With a running start she leaps off and drops herself and the chair
onto Lawler. Kim with a cover…
1…
2…Kickout!
Kimberly
drops the chair in a prime position with evil intentions for Lawler. But before
she can do anything Striker rakes her eyes and then drops her with Monster Mash
onto the barbed wire chair.
Sharper:
“Into the barbed wire! Striker dropping Kim!”
Kayl:
“They had wars in the past! A revisiting of them here.”
Knots:
“It’s a travesty. How the hell are people liking this?!”
Striker
rolls Kimberly back into the ring. Striker then produces a table and slides it
into the ring. Meanwhile Oskar Theron pulls himself out of the rubble of the
barricade. He targets Lawler who has just pulled himself back up. Oskar whips
Lawler face first into the steel ringpost, busting him open even further. Oskar
smashes Lawler face first onto the Spanish Announce Table several times. Oskar
then rolls Lawler onto the announce table. Oskar produces a ladder and sets it
up. He climbs up to the top of the ladder. SHOOTING STAR PRESS off the top of
the ladder through Lawler through the Spanish Announce table!
Crowd:
HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!
With
both competitors laid out and neither able to make a cover, Striker is free to
go on the offensive against Kimberly to try and win it all. He has the table
set up propped up in the corner. Striker spears Kimberly through the table. He
drags her out to the center of the ring. Striker with The Deadly Rave!
The cover…

…3NO!
Kim with a shoulder up!
Striker
goes outside and finds the barbed wire chair and brings it into the ring. He
sets it up in the center. He pulls Kim back up and delivers a hennig-plex onto
the barbed wire chair for another cover…
1…
2…
…3NO!
Kim with a shoulder up!
Striker
pulls Kim up and sets her up for a hammerlock ddt. But Kim picks his legs and
drops him on the mat. She steps through and turns him over into Scorned, her
sharpshooter variant.
Sharper:
“And Kim! Wrestling holds! The Scorned!”
Kayl:
“See! She can wrestle, Knots.”
Knots:
“All the more reason she should. Come on. That’s a real skill. Not just
bludgeoning your opponent!”
Oskar
finally pulls himself from the rubble of the Spanish Announce table and notices
Kim with the sharpshooter applied to Striker. Oskar rushes in but instead of
breaking the hold he locks a crossface in to Striker, creating a
double-submission.
Sharper:
“And now, Oskar Theron in. Theron and Williams! They’ve both got Striker!”
Kayl:
“This went from bad to worse!”
Sharper:
“But they can’t both get the tap out. There referee can’t really do anything.
This is just torture for Striker!”
David
Striker is in serious agony but won’t give in to the double submission. Chris
Lawler finally pulls himself up and sees the danger Striker is in of
submitting. Lawler brings another steel chair in and first uses it on Oskar and
then blasts Kimberly in the back of the head. He whips Kim into the ropes and
delivers Blitz Kick! He falls into the cover…
1…
2…
3…NO!
Kim gets a shoulder up!
Lawler
targets Oskar next. He hoists Oskar up and drops him with Fury Suplex onto the
barbed wire chair. The cover…
1…
2…
…3NO!
Oskar gets a shoulder up!
Lastly
Lawler turns his attention to Striker. He takes the ankle and applies Lockdown
Hold.
Sharper:
“Lockdown Hold! Lawler trying to now damage the ankle of Striker!”
Knots:
“Striker’s just going to have no limbs left after this!”
David
Striker is again in agony but refuses to quit. Oskar out of nowhere with a
backflip kick that breaks it up. Kimberly with a superkick that sends Lawler
tumbling to the outside. Kim then launches herself over the top with a suicide
dive taking out Lawler. Oskar meanwhile turns his attention to David Striker.
Lightning Bolt Shocker! Oskar covers…
1…
2…
…3NO!
Striker gets a shoulder up!
Oskar
pulls David back to his feet and hooks him for a German suplex but David with a
standing switch and then drops Oskar with a German suplex of his own onto a
steel chair. Meanwhile Kimbery slingshots Lawler face first into the steel ring
post. She reaches underneath the ring and produces a table wrapped in barbed
wire. She sets it up on the outside. She takes Lawler and places him the ring
apron. She tries to suplex him onto the barbed wire table but he blocks it.
David Striker sees the two struggling. He hits the ropes and knocks both of
them backward, sending them crashing into the barbed wire table.
Crowd:
HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!
While
Striker admires his work, Oskar rolls him up from behind…
1…
2…
…3NO!
Striker gets a shoulder up!
Sharper:
“And Oskar nearly stole it!”
Kayl:
“Good to admire destruction, but not when there’s another guy in there!”
Oskar
takes Striker and goes for a brain buster but David counters with Star Platinum
out of nowhere! Instead of going for the cover David Striker rolls to the
outside. He reaches underneath the ring and produces a bag. He gets back in the
ring with the bag and pours it contents…broken glass and thumbtacks…all over
the ring mat. He takes Oskar and drops him with Equivalent Exchange onto the
broken glass and thumbtacks!
Sharper:
“And into the tacks! The tacks! The glass!”
Knots:
“What the hell are we doing here?!”
Before
Striker can go for a cover Lawler leaps back into the ring and delivers a step
up enziguri that drops Striker. Lawler hoists Striker up…IMPACT DRIVER onto the
broken glass and thumbtacks! But like Striker earlier, Lawler cannot capitalize
as Kimberly is back in the ring, wielding Wasley. She takes aim and blasts
Lawler in the head with Wasley. Kimberly takes aim as Lawler tries to sit
up…SHADOWBLADE…he dodges…Kim nails Oskar instead sending both to the floor!
Sharper:
“Kim got Oskar! Lawler dodged! Shadowblade!”
Kayl:
“Oskar however rolled through! And Kim is in trouble!”
Oskar
takes Kim and power bombs her into what remains of the Spanish Announce Table.
Striker from behind with a steel chair to Oskar Theron. He then takes the chair
and wraps it around Oskar’s throat. He takes a second chair and smashes it into
the other chair! Meanwhile, Simon Lymon charges the ring. He slides in and
takes down Lawler with several quick lariats. Simon mounts Lawler and rains
down right hands.
Sharper:
“And Lyman! Where the hell did he come from?!”
Knots:
“Looks like he had an issue with Lawler from Breakdown and now they’re going at
it!”
Just as
quickly as he entered the match, Simon makes his exit. This leaves Lawler down.
Striker re-enters the ring. Equivalent Exchange onto Lawler onto the glass and
tacks! Striker with the cover…
1…
2…
…3!
Phillips:
Here is your winner…DAVID STRIKER!
Striker
rolls off and winces a bit as he has his arm raised.
Sharper:
“And Striker survives, in part with the help of Lyman! But all legal in this
chaos!”
Knots:
“Chaos is right!”
Sharper:
“And Striker now has a date with the Underground Champion, Asher Hayes at a
later date!”
Striker
winces and walks around as the crowd cheers him. Kim stirs in the Spanish table
as Oskar and Lawler stir. Striker celebrates a bit more as the scene cuts away.
Backstage,
we see Jessica Winters in the SCW interview area.
Winters:
“Welcome backstage here at Wembley. I’m Jessica Winters, and allow me to
welcome at this time, Ryan LeCavalier.”
The
crowd roars as Ryan LeCavalier comes into view. She looks around and Winters
turns to her.
Winters:
“Thank you for joining me here tonight, Ryan. Ryan, we’re trying to figure out
what possessed you to attack Dexter Grant. Some are just saying this is a way
for you to try and get back and noticed, but you’ve never been like that.
You’ve always had your reason from attacking Glory Braddock, to joining the
Fall of Man and now…this…”
LeCavalier:
“If they don’t find reason, then they just are showing how limited they are of
their intellect. The fact is that when you have a blowhard like Dexter, you may
think it’s just that, but sometimes he needs to learn that some names should be
kept out of his mouths and others he should always remember. I heard his
diatribe and frankly, there are some people that he should respect. As they
don’t demand plaudits on social media, they don’t look for the vibes, they just
act and try to do what they can, for themselves in the moment.”
Winters:
“Who are you talking about?”
LeCavalier:
“A guardian angel of sorts. Right Selena? Fatal Fortunes, we tore the house
down. But you managed to defeat me. And last Fatal Fortunes, you came out and
got involved in my business. Maybe our fates are intertwined. Maybe there is
more I wish to find out from you. People thought we may clash again and it
never happened. But it was never out of animus. It was out of respect.
Something you do crave and deserve. And something Dexter doesn’t understand.
And tonight, he’ll understand that there are consequences to running one’s
mouth.”
LeCavalier
turns and walks off. Winters watches her leave and turns to the camera.
Winters:
“There’s an answer. What do you all think, SCW? Back to ringside.”
The
scene cuts away.
The
Vision vs. Hollywood
Phillips:
The following is a tag team contest scheduled for one fall. Introducing
first, being accompanied to the ring by Clyde Sutter, they are “The Third
Generation Goddess” Melinda Braddock and “The Boston Badass” Fiona Logan, THE
VISION!
The
arena lights drop into an ominous crimson haze as the haunting intro of
“Nothing Feels Right” by Ozzy Osbourne crawls through the sound system, thick
with unease and anticipation. The crowd instantly responds with a wave of boos,
and just as the first distorted riff growls to life, a spotlight ignites at the
top of the ramp, illuminating The Vision: Melinda Braddock and Fiona Logan.
Standing side by side, they strike an intimidating contrast. Melinda is a
vision of smug superiority, her expression cool and contemptuous as she slowly
steps forward, chin high and lips curled in a slight, self-satisfied smile.
Draped in a gleaming black-and-gold jacket with high-fashion detailing, she
moves like she’s walking a runway, not a wrestling ramp; each step deliberate,
arrogant, like the crowd should be grateful to witness her existence. Beside
her, Fiona Logan bursts into movement like a firecracker, all swagger and
attitude. She twirls once with flair, throws her arms wide, and mouths off at
the nearest fans with wild eyes and a devilish grin. Her ring gear shimmers
under the strobe lights as she throws fake kisses to the crowd one second and
flips them off the next. She leans over the barricade at one point, taunting a
fan’s sign, pointing and laughing, then skips back toward her partner with a
cocky shoulder bump. Trailing just a few steps behind them is Clyde Sutter, a
looming figure in black with long, dark hair cascading over his shoulders. His
expression is emotionless, unreadable, a stark contrast to the explosive energy
in front of him. His eyes scan the ring like a hawk, and while he never says a
word, his presence alone demands silence. He’s the dark anchor to the chaos and
vanity that is The Vision.
As the
trio reaches the ring, Melinda glides up the steel steps slowly, wiping her
boots with theatrical disdain before stepping through the ropes like she’s
entering a palace. She pauses in the center of the ring, holding her arms out
as if waiting for imaginary flowers to be thrown at her feet. Fiona leaps onto
the apron, then climbs through the ropes with an over-the-top spin, landing on
one knee and pointing to herself with a defiant smirk as the music’s chorus
hits. She yells at the crowd, mocking them ruthlessly, and then she pounds her
chest before popping back up to her feet. Clyde takes his place outside, arms
folded, unmoved. As the music fades and the lights return to normal, Melinda
raises one perfectly manicured hand while Fiona perches on the second rope,
taunting the audience one last time.
Phillips:
And their opponents, Chris and Ryan…HOLLYWOOD!
A rush
of paparazzi rush down either side of the ramp as a red carpet is rolled out.
The sounds of Michael Jackson’s “Hollywood Tonight” begins to play as Chris and
Ryan Hollywood come out from the back, prompting a shamelessly stolen trope of
flashes from the cameras as they stand atop the ramp. They respond to pose
instructions from the photographers as they move towards the ring. Once in the
ring, they pose in the middle of the ring, back to back, as their music fades.
Sharper: “Hollywood
has been spending a lot of time highlighting how they hold a win over the Tag
Champions. But the Vision looking to snatch in a claim.”
Kayl:
“Win or win or win. That’s what you do. The Vision want another crack at the
champions. With Hollywood all hyped up like this, they put a target on this
back.”
Chris
and Fiona start the match for their respective teams. Chris with a quick
clothesline, a quick dropkick, a spin kick. A hip toss and an arm drag by
Chris. He whips Fiona into the ropes. Melinda makes a blind tag. Chris with a
flapjack to Fiona. But Melinda hits the ring and drops Chris Hollywood with a
spinning back fist and then a running knee strike. Melinda with a shining
wizard. Melinda tags back out to Fiona. Melinda and Fiona both hit the ropes.
Chop block by Melinda with Fiona simultaneously hitting a running knee for
Vision’s Run. Fiona covers…
1…Kickout!
Fiona
pulls Chris Hollywood back up. She pulls Chris back to his feet and whips him
into the ropes. This time its Ryan Hollywood making the blind tag. Fiona drops
Chris with a spine buster…but she turns around into a huge big boot from
Ryan.
Sharper: “And
Ryan Hollywood, a big boot. Down goes Fiona.”
Knots:
“They may be goofs, but they can go if they’re focused. That brief moment.”
Ryan
Hollywood with a vertical suplex and a bodyslam. He whips Fiona into the ropes
and delivers a high back body drop. He goes for another slam but Fiona slips
out of it, wraps her arms around his waist, and snaps off a German suplex.
Fiona rolls through, hanging on to the grip, hits a second German suplex. She
rolls through, hanging onto the grip, but Ryan with a standing switch and
delivers a release German suplex of his own. He whips Fiona into the Hollywood
corner. Ryan with a big splash into the corner where he tags out to Chris.
Chris with a snap suplex followed by a standing moonsault for a cover…
1…
…2Kickout!
Chris
pulls Fiona up and whips her into the ropes. He lowers his head too early and
she kicks him in the face. Fiona runs the ropes and delivers a huge spear,
breaking him half. Fiona scrambles to her corner and tags out to Melinda.
Sharper:
“And Fiona making the much needed tag! Here comes Melinda!”
Kayl:
“And she can showcase what she can do here.”
Melinda
with a spinning heel kick and then a superkick that floors Chris Hollywood. She
goes up to the top and leaps off with a 450 splash, Blaze of Glory! Melinda
covers…

2…Kickout!
Melinda
instantly an Indian Deathlock. Ryan Hollywood in to break up the submission
hold. This draws Fiona Logan back into the ring and she starts trading right
hands with Ryan. The brawl between Ryan and Fiona spills out to the outside.
Meanwhile Melinda climbs to the top. She walks the ropes with Graceful
Beauty…she leaps off for a dropkick but Chris sidesteps just in time and she
hits nothing. She scrambles back to her feet but is met by a superkick from
Chris Hollywood. Chris measures Melinda as she pulls herself back to her feet.
He rushes in and attempts a clothesline but Melinda counters into Hashtag, the
crippler crossface.
Sharper: “Hashtag!
Counter from the clothesline!”
Kayl:
“Melinda, trained in the Braddock style. Showing her skill here!”
Knots:
“Hollywood is going to have to show how tough he is if he can’t get out!”
Sharper:
“He’s getting closer and closer to the ropes!”
Chris
Hollywood struggles to get to the ropes. He is almost there. Fingertips away.
But then Ryan is again into the ring to break it up. He whips Melinda into the
ring and delivers a high back body drop and turns her inside out with a lariat.
But then he turns around into a running big boot from Fiona then sends him
tumbling through the ropes and to the outside. Fiona drags Melinda back to The
Vision corner and tags herself in. Fiona whips Chris into The Vision corner and
delivers a stinger splash. Fiona with a snap suplex out of the corner. Fiona
goes for Spear Fishing on Chris but he kicks her in the face and follows that
up with a ddt. Both competitors are down and they begin to crawl towards their
respective corners and the referee begins his count.

natural selection. The cover…

her arms around Ryan…Melinda with a superkick to Ryan into a German suplex from
Fiona…Fiona rolls through…another superkick into another German suplex…Fiona
rolls through…a third superkick into another German suplex and this time Fiona
releases the grip. She sees Chris Hollywood negotiating his way back to his
feet. Fiona launches herself over the top, wiping out Chris Hollywood with a
plancha.
Sharper: “Over
the top! Fiona Logan takes down Chris Hollywood!”
Kayl:
“The Vision just cooking here!”
Melinda
tags out to Fiona and then Melinda prepares herself on the apron. Fiona whips
Ryan Hollywood into the ropes and delivers a spine buster. Melinda instantly
follows that up with as springboard 450 splash completing Fateful Vision! Fiona
into the cover…
1…
2…
…3!
The
bell sounds.
Phillips:
Ladies and gentlemen, here are your winners, Fiona Logan and Melinda Braddock,
THE VISION!
Fiona
rolls off as Melinda turns and holds her arm up. They get up and have their
arms raised.
Sharper:
“And the Vision with a statement. They want the champions next! The question is
who those champions could be.”
Kayl:
“At least Hollywood touched the title? Right?”
The
Vision celebrates in the ring as Hollywood slowly recovers. The scene cuts
away.
The
scene opens up outside the front of Wembley Stadium. We see Lexy Chapel with a
megaphone, along with Ravyn Taylor, who just looks on bemused. A group of
people have gathered around.
Chapel:
“We are here to stand against the conspiracy that exists to keep SCW at its
greatest! We don’t need to be made Gavin again. We don’t even want to be Gavin.
Why not Steve or Jim or Sven!”
Ravyn:
“What about Igor?!”
Chapel
turns and marches over.
Chapel:
“Shhhh! The Russians are clearly involved! With all of this. They have to be.
With the reverse vampires….I….”
Chapel
turns, realizing she’s talking to Ravyn, not into the megaphone.
Chapel:
“We will stand up against all who work to bring down Syren, bring down SCW, and
prevent good honest people, like me, and…uh…me…from standing at her side and
making sure that greatness prevails!”
The
scene cuts away.
Sharper:
“Looks like Lexy Chapel is here. Ravyn Taylor too.”
Knots:
“This is private property! Get them out of here!”
Sharper:
“They’ve been trying to keep an eye on Syren as they can. Maybe hoping to get
under Gavin’s skin a bit.”
Scarlett
Carsons vs. Colleen MacDonald
SCW
Television Championship
Phillips:
“The following match is scheduled for one fall and is for the SCW Television
Championship! Introducing first, the challenger…. SCARLETT CARSONS!!!”
The
arena goes dark without warning.
Not a
fade.
A hard
kill—sound, light, breath—all of it ripped out at once.
For a
heartbeat, there is nothing.
Then—
A low
church bell tolls through the darkness.
Clang.
A
single white spotlight snaps on at the top of the ramp, cutting through thick
blue fog that pours outward like breath in winter. The opening whisper of
SANCTIFY ME crawls in beneath it—soft, intimate, wrong—Maria Brink’s voice
sounding less like a singer and more like a confession caught on tape.
The
tron doesn’t play video.
It
plays stained glass.
Cracked,
fractured imagery of saints and sinners bleeding into one another. Faces
half-formed. Halos broken. Wings burned black at the edges. The glass pulses
faintly in time with the song’s heartbeat.
As the
first heavy note hits—
The fog
explodes.
Scarlett
Carsons steps forward through it, already in motion, already claimed by the
light.
She
doesn’t pose.
She
doesn’t acknowledge the crowd.
Her
head is bowed—not in humility, but in judgment.
A long
black coat drapes from her shoulders like funeral cloth, the inside lined deep
crimson. Bare hands. No theatrics. No wasted movement. Each step down the ramp
is deliberate, measured, like she’s walking toward an altar she plans to burn
down.
Blue
strobes flash once—just enough to catch her eyes as she lifts her head.
They
don’t scan the crowd.
They
pass through it.
When
the chorus hits—SANCTIFY ME—the lights snap blood-red, flooding the arena as if
the room itself has been baptized in something unholy. The fog behind her
swirls upward now, forming a silhouette that almost looks like wings before
tearing itself apart.
Scarlett
stops halfway down the ramp.
Slowly,
she opens her coat.
No
taunt.
No
gesture.
Just
revelation.
The
coat falls to the steel with a dull, final thud, left behind like a discarded
skin. She rolls her shoulders once, loosening them, eyes never leaving the
ring.
The
music drops back into that haunting refrain as she resumes her walk.
At
ringside, she doesn’t slide in.
She
climbs the steps.
Each
step echoes.
She
wipes her boots on the apron—not for respect, but ritual—then steps between the
ropes and stands dead center, head tilted back as the final sanctify me drags
out into distortion.
The
lights snap back to black.
One
last white spotlight finds her—
And
then it dies.
When
the arena lights return, Scarlett Carsons is already in her corner.
Waiting.
Like
the sin you thought you buried.
Phillips:
“And her opponent… she is the reigning SCW TV Champion… the one, the only…
COLLEEN MACDONALD!!!!”
A coin
can be heard dropping into a coin slot, followed by a few girls giggling.
But before “C’est La Vie” by B*Witched can even begin, Colleen steps out onto
the stage from the backstage area, wearing her normal all-black ring
gear. Colleen does a cutthroat signal. The music turns off as she
stands still and waits until the beginning of “How Far I’ll Go” by Auli’i
Cravalho begins to play. Colleen nods once before beginning to slowly
head down the entrance ramp. The crowd does keep their eyes on her as she
looks straight down at the ring. She keeps going until she arrives down
at the ring. Not quickening her pace, she steps up the steel ring steps
and climbs over the top rope to get into the ring. Once inside she does
look around the arena. She simply approves of her surroundings before she
turns to the business at hand, warming up before the bell rings.
DING
DING DING
Scarlett
starts the match right at the bell with an attempted dive at an Ankle Pick that
catches Colleen off guard. She manages to stay standing initially though and
goes over onto her back with a Mounted-Hammerlock. Scarlett struggles with it
initially but manages to get a leg under her and her free arm around
MacDonald’s head. Colleen holds onto the move but can't stop her fighting to
her feet and then sending her off with a Snapmare.
Sharper:
“Quick start to the TV Championship!”
Knots:
“And I like this Scarlett! She’s got something. I don’t know what.”
Kayl:
“She’s a bit creepy.”
Knots:
“Don’t be afraid. She may not bite!”
Colleen
lands seated and Scarlett shoots for a Sleeperhold but Colleen locks up an arm
and slips out before dropping her face first into the mat. She then tries to
secure a hold on her arm but Scarlett rolls to her back and then kips up, only
to drop back down immediately and send her off in an Armdrag. Colleen rolls to
her knees and sweeps Scarlett for a pin as she comes running but she pushes her
off before the ref can even hit the mat. Colleen then jumps up into a leg sweep
herself with Scarlett making a pin attempt!
1!
KICKOUT!
Scarlett
is up first and allows her to catch Colleen with a knee and back her into the
ropes. She then tries to whip her to the ropes but Colleen turns it around and
launches an upward flipping kick that just barely misses the mark as Scarlett
darts out of the way.
Sharper:
“Quick thinking by Carsons!”
Knots:
“Same with the champ, MacDonald!
Colleen
floats over onto a knee and puts up her hands to catch a kick. She then stands
up with her leg in hand and sweeps her, dropping Scarlett to the mat and
leaving her open for a leaping stomp that hits the floor as Scarlett rolls
behind her. She then catches onto a School Boy attempt for the pin.
1!
2!!
Kickout!
Sharper:
“Colleen pops out early.”
Colleen
rolls over onto her knees and into a Guillotine from Scarlett that she manages
to spin out before she can properly secure it. Colleen then comes away with a
Wristlock but Scarlett is quickly to her feet and works her way through a roll
through, bridge and twist back standing that allows her to alleviate the
pressure. She then slaps her hand away and launches an Enzugiri, but Colleen
decides to walk away, letting her catch nothing but the air before she plummets
to the mat, veteran instinct kicking in. She goes down and gets a rather harsh
kick through the top of her head for her troubles.
Knots:
“You know the song Margaritaville?”
Sharper:
“Yeah?”
Knots: “Welcome
to CTE-Ville.”
Kayl: “Hardly
a laughing matter!”
Scarlett
turns over into the ropes for a chance to get her bearings but Colleen drags
her back to her feet and puts her into the ropes with the aid of a Forearm
shot. Colleen turns to whip her away but instead kicks out the back of her legs
to sit her down and then follows with a stiff Roundhouse kick in the chest to
flatten her out. Colleen then bounces into the ropes and comes back with a
Senton, landing her full weight across her chest. She turns over into a cover.
1!
2!!
Kickout!!!
Sharper:
“Scarlett escapes at the count of two.”
Colleen
then picks her up and flattens her again with a Snap Suplex that she floats
over on top and holds down an arm for the cover.
1!
2!!
Kickout..
well, more Michael Myers style.
Knots:
“Scarlett sits up like a spookshow.”
Sharper:
“Colleen doesn’t care. She’s laser focused on trying to win this.”
Colleen
bends her arm around her back and begins to work the hold while Scarlett
scrambles for the ropes. She doesn't get long as Scarlett soon finds purchase
with a foot but it's enough to leave a lasting impression as Scarlett comes up,
rotating her shoulder. Colleen instantly sets upon it with an Arm-Ringer that
drops her face first to the canvas before she turns around and drops a knee
into her shoulder blade. She then leans on it and torques her arm until
Scarlett is able to fight out onto her back.
Sharper:
“Carsons able to get out!”
Colleen
then lifts her up again and sends Scarlett to the ropes, making sure to use her
worked over shoulder for a little extra push. She then leads with a back elbow
but Scarlett ducks under, grabs on and sends her to the ropes in her place
before catching her with a huge Spinebuster on the return.
Knots:
“The ring shook with that impact!!”
Scarlett
jumps around to her side and leaps back into a Standing Moonsault, knocking the
wind from her and dropping into the pin.
1!!
2!!!
Kickout!!!
Sharper:
“And Colleen kicks out!”
Scarlett
then jumps to her feet, leans back and launches herself into a standing 450;
earning some love from the fans as she hooks the leg for another pin.
1!
2!!
Shoulder
up!
Sharper:
“And Colleen pops out again!”
Scarlett
lumbers Colleen up into the corner and thunders a knee into her gut. She then
whips her to the opposite corner and follows but Colleen uses the ropes to push
herself up and come over behind her. She then hooks both her arms, lifts and
drops her with a Tiger Suplex. The referee jumps in to make the count but
Colleen let’s go of an arm, swings herself around and cinches in a Crucifix
Armbar to the delight of the fans.
Sharper:
“Colleen with some technical prowess, and this could end it right here.”
Knots:
“She’s the Champ for a reason!”
Colleen
wrenches back deep with every intention of popping her shoulder, but Scarlett
fights her all the way and even manages to get off her back. She then rolls her
onto her shoulders while the referee jumps in to count the pin attempt.
1!
2!!
Kickout!
Sharper:
Colleen powers out!
Colleen
cranks her arm until the very last second before slipping out, and as Scarlett
backs away he can’t help cradling her arm. Colleen then shoots again but
Scarlett ducks under, bends her knees and then leans into a backflip that
catches Colleen turning and smashes her in the chest. She falls right over her
for the pin.
1!
2!!
Shoulder
up!
Sharper:
“Colleen still won’t stay down.”
Knots:
“She’s got some fight in her, but she’ll wear that out soon enough.”
Scarlett
then pulls Colleen back to her feet once again and lifts her up in a Vertical
Suplex. Her arm looks to be bothering her but not enough to break her grip, and
she’s holds her aloft for a few moments before dropping her back forward with a
huge Gordbuster. Colleen crashes down face first and pops back to her knees
from the impact. Meanwhile Scarlett turns her attention to the ropes.
Sharper:
“Wonder what Carsons is up too…”.
Knots:
“Curious myself.”
Even
with the aid of only one arm Scarlett manages to fight her way to the top-rope,
and poises herself as Colleen struggles off the mat. She then leaps into the
air, set to crush her with the backsplash, but Colleen steps aside and lets her
crash to the canvas.
Knots:
“Crashing and burning! Crashing and burning!”
Scarlett
bobs back to a knee and Colleen ties her up for a roll up.
1!
She
struggles…
2!!
KICKOUT!
Colleen
and Carsons circle, arms outstretched, gradually getting closer and closer
until they lock up in the center of the ring.
Sharper:
“How do they have the energy?!”
Kayl:
“Maybe they touched that Strader Energy box?”
Carsons
bends Colleen's wrists backwards and then trips the taller woman up, negating
her size advantage and wrenching a tight headlock. She looks out and smirks at
the crowd. Colleen struggles to break the hold, but Carsons keeps leverage ,
slamming a couple of rights into her forehead and keeping the match pace slow.
She drops to a knee and Colleen takes the opening, grabbing Carsons under the
knee and lifting her squarely into the air. She sends Carsons down with a huge
powerbomb and the champion rolls out of the ring to recover as the crowd
cheers.
Sharper:
“You usually see a more varied moveset from Colleen MacDonald, but you usually
see her fighting heavier opponents. Against Carsons, I can imagine she's going
to go blow for blow with her and hope to deal out more punishment.”
Carsons
rolls her neck around and climbs into the ring again. Colleen goes for a
lariat, clearly hoping to take control of the match, but Carsons ducks the blow
and roundhouses Colleen in the jaw and she turns and tries to recover. Carsons
follows with a hard axe kick to the crown of the head that leaves Colleen
wildly backpedaling.
Kayl:
“Can I be the person that suggests that plan "trade blows with Scarlett
Carsons" is a dumb plan?”
Knots:
“You can be but I don’t know how well that will work out for you.”
Colleen
backs into the corner and Carsons hammers away with a series of short kicks
until the referee breaks them, the crowd's still very quiet for Carsons's
offense. Once the ref lowers her hand, Carsons springs into the corner and
launches off, flattening her with a DDT - the crowd cringes and Colleen goes
straight into the air. Carsons slides in without missing a beat and clinches in
a crossface submission. Colleen struggles in the hold and scratches the mat,
silently nodding no when asked for a submission - if anything, Carsons takes
this as motivation to pull the hold even tighter.
Sharper:
“Scarlett is really pulling back now!”
After
quite a while in this hold, Colleen slowly starts pounding the mat in a slow,
steady rhythm, and the claps slowly build and echo through the crowd as Colleen
starts to pull up on a limb. Carsons decides to break the hold instead of
trying to force it back down and goes for a karate style front kick - Colleen
catches it and pulls Carsons into a clinch. She draws way way back and pummels
her with a series of high knees to the head that have plenty of emphasis behind
them. Colleen comes off the ropes and lands a devastating spinning elbow to the
head and with Carsons's hands down, she gets all of it. The crowd pops as she
goes off the rope and lands a flying shoulder block, knocking Carsons off
balance again - Colleen follows with a dropkick.
Sharper:
“The Champ is taking back control!”
Carsons
clutches her head as Colleen goes to the middle rope and grins. She dives at
Carsons, but gets intercepted with a wicked European uppercut. Colleen throws a
forearm, Carsons throws a forearm. Colleen goes for an elaborate looking
spinning kick and Carsons ducks it, flooring her with a superkick and screaming
at the downed woman.
Knots:
“Sharp instinct!”
Carsons
pulls Colleen up and kicks her hard in the chest, and Colleen winces before
kicking her back. The two of them trade kicks, both throwing them harder and
faster until they both hit a kick at the same time and fall to the canvas. By
now the feverish noise that rang the match in is back.
Sharper:
“For most competitors, when you say "pride is on the line", it
doesn't mean much, but with these two... wow.”
They
both get up at the same time and look at each other, fighting back and forth
like it's a big game of rock paper scissors. Carsons commits first, going for
an amateur style takedown - and Colleen catches her and pulls her into a
Butterfly submission hold. Scarlett tries to fight out and pushes off and rolls
through as Colleen tries to keep on. Scarlett keeps fighting before the crowd
roars as we see Clyde Sutter running down from the back. Sutter makes the long
run and rolls into the ring. He then runs over and grabs Colleen by the hair
and drags her up, forcing her to let go and before throwing her into the
corner. The bell sounds as the crowd boos as Sutter knees Colleen in the ribs
over and over and over again. Scarlett rolls over as Sutter then turns and
pulls Colleen out and hits a vicious clothesline. The crowd ohs.
Sharper:
“The hell! Sutter coming out here!”
Kayl:
“They didn’t solve anything on Breakdown when they fought. And I guess Sutter
wanted to get a shot in on his home turf!”
Sharper:
“Scarlett Carsons does not look pleased!”
Carsons
looks up, annoyed as Sutter turns back to her.
Sutter:
“Sorry…fate says it’s not your time. I will handle her.”
Sutter
turns and heads over to Colleen as Scarlett then runs over and grabs Sutter and
spins him around. She just looks at Sutter, glaring at him as Sutter just
smirks. Sutter shoves her back. Carsons gets back up before we then see Colleen
get up and clubs Sutter in the back. Scarlett runs over and nails Sutter. The
two women attack Sutter, nailing him over and over and over again before
knocking him down with hard right hands. Sutter rolls to the floor. Carsons
then turns and gets her hand up to strike Colleen. Colleen turns and does the
same. The crowd roars as Sutter gets up, smirking.
Sutter:
“Still mine, Colleen! Still mine!”
Sharper:
“Carsons and McDonald both sending Sutter to the floor! But the damage done!”
Kayl:
“Colleen’s still champion. And no one is happy here! Not even Colleen. She
doesn’t want hand outs!”
Backstage,
we see Deanna Frost walking out of her locker room. She stretches a bit before
taking a few steps. The SCW Adrenaline Championship is around her waist. She
then looks up as CHBK walks over to her. Deanna looks down briefly before
looking up.
CHBK:
“Deanna…”
Deanna:
“Look, I need to get to the ring.”
CHBK:
“I understand…but I need to ask one question. Did Selena talk to you as I
instructed?”
Deanna
pauses and looks off before turning to CHB.
Deanna:
“I had a conversation with her. About what, I still don’t know.”
CHBK:
“I think that’s telling.”
Deanna:
“Look, I…I need to focus on the title match.”
CHBK:
“Of course, we’ll talk later.”
Deanna
turns and heads off. CHBK just shakes his head and sighs before then walking
down the hallway.
Polly
Playtime vs. Deanna Frost
SCW
Adrenaline Championship
Phillips:
“The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the SCW
Adrenaline Championship!”
The SCW Adrenaline Championship logo comes across the screen as the fans cheer
for the announcement of the match to come. Suddenly, the arena lights shut off
completely. The crowd murmurs until Polly's voice can be heard saying:
"You want me to cut the crap? My answer is that you need to cut
yours."
The arena stays completely dark until up on the big screen Polly's infamous
glowing angry green eyes make an appearance. Most of the screen stays black,
but her name fades in, in light purple "Polly Playtime".
An indistinct man's voice then says "Player Number One. Game Over."
A coin can be heard dropping into a coin slot and a pulsating beat begins to
play as light purple strobe lights light up on both sides of the stage.
"Too Much" by Dove Cameron begins as Dove immediately begins to sing
the chorus, a figure emerges from the back and saunters to the center of the
stage between the strobe lights. The overhead arena lights return and we can
see that the figure is dressed in a long black robe that covers all of her,
including her head. The hood drops back to reveal Polly not smiling or showing
any hint of caring what others think of her. She allows the vocals to continue
until Dove hits the chorus for a second time. The light purple strobe lights
turn to point directly to the ring as Polly lets go of the robe that is
cloaking her, revealing that she is wearing her black knee-high skirt, but also
a very small strapless light purple top that hugs her mostly revealed upper
body perfectly. She then picks up the item that she had used to tie her black
robe around her, that item being a small whip.
Wasting no more time, she walks with purpose down to the ring as her entrance
music continues. A lot of the crowd near ringside is gawking at her while some
are booing. Polly just ignores every single last one of them as once at
ringside, she feels the mat with both of her hands and rubs them a bit before
sneering and walking over to the nearest set of steel ring steps. She walks up
them and is very careful while she gets into the ring, as to not give the SCW
Universe a show that they do not deserve.
Phillips: “Introducing first, the challenger, from Panguitch, Utah, she is…
Polly Playtime!”
Once in the ring she runs the end of the whip around the canvas for a short bit
before she chooses a corner of the ring and leans up against the ropes. As her
music subsides, Polly can be heard saying "I'm too much for you to handle.
Too much for ALL of you! Always have been, always will be. It's time you all
see it."
The boos pick up. Polly is acting as if they don't exist as she has all of the
whip in her hands now once again. She stays in her corner and waits for the
bell to ring, fingering her whip, not even looking towards the stage.
Knots: “Your next Adrenaline Champion, right here!”
Sharper: “That remains to be seen, Jon. For far too long now, Polly has been
antagonizing Deanna Frost. She had a chance to dethrone Deanna in the
semi-finals of Shot of Adrenaline back at A Taste of Things to Come, but Deanna
managed to prevail-”
Knots: “With a desperate pin where I’m pretty sure she had a hold of something
to keep Polly down!”
Kayl: “And Polly assaulted her after the match. Since then, things have only
been escalating as Polly’s made it clear she’s in support of whatever our CEO
seems to be up to.”
The chords of "People Like Us" by Kelly Clarkson fill the arena,
causing a roar from the audience as bright, fall leaves seem to blow and fly on
the LED screens on and around the ramp. From the back curtain, out runs Deanna
Frost, taking in the audience before running to the right side, then the left
side, shouting to them in excitement. The 'leaves' follow her as she does. The
SCW Adrenaline Championship can be seen around her waist. Returning to the
middle, Deanna gives a spin on one foot, her arms outstretched, the 'leaves'
circling her below her feet.
Phillips: “And her opponent, from Manhattan, New York, she is the SCW Adrenaline
Champion… Deanna Frost!”
Hearing her name, Deanna stops her spin, side facing the ring, and, with one
hand over her heart, her free hand arcs around to point forward, the 'leaves'
flying down the ramp and 'circling' the ring LED barriers. Making her way down
to the ring, Deanna high-fives fans along the way until she reaches the ring.
Sliding under the ring, the redhead jumps to her feet, making her way to the
middle ropes and leaning over them, one arm raised to the crowd. We see Polly
look like she’s going to move in and jump start this match, but referee
Jennifer Cassidy intercepts her and forces her to stay back as Deanna does the
same to the other sides of the ring. On the last time, Deanna turns and hands
off the title to Jennifer Cassidy, who holds it above her head before handing
it off to the timekeeper while Deanna and Polly stare one another down.
Sharper: “We mentioned Polly’s constant aggression in trying to take out and
dethrone Deanna, and Deanna’s made it no secret that she’s not exactly Mr.
Delatosso’s biggest fan after the comments he made about Shot of Adrenaline,
even after she won it.”
Knots: “And that’s exactly why Polly’s got another chance here tonight! Deanna
robbed her in the tournament, and Mr. Delatosso is simply making things right!”
Kayl: “Doesn’t sound right to me, but neither does the issue we know has to be
on Deanna’s mind after the last Breakdown, and that had nothing to do with
Polly.”
Jennifer Cassidy signals for the bell and Polly charges right at Deanna, but
puts on the brakes and backs up when Deanna tries to catch her with an
immediate Burnout! Deanna ends up landing right in front of Polly, who catches
her with a clothesline! Deanna tries to get to her feet, but Polly begins
stomping away at her, trying to keep her on the mat and wear her down. Deanna
attempts to get back to her feet despite this, which only causes Polly to shift
to clubbing away at Deanna’s spine instead. Deanna shoves Polly back to create
space, but Polly rebounds off the ropes and catches Deanna with a headscissors
takeover that sends Deanna through the ropes and out to the floor!
Kayl: “Polly all over Deanna and ejecting her from the ring in the
early-going!”
Knots: “And there’s no countouts in an Adrenaline Title match to save Deanna,
so Polly can drag this out for as long as she wants!”
Sharper: “We know things between these two can get very physical very fast.
Even ignoring their recent issues, two years ago at this exact same
pay-per-view, Deanna just barely managed to beat Polly in a Last Woman Standing
Match with the U.S. Title on the line.”
Knots: “And Polly’s a much different wrestler than she was back then!”
Deanna uses the ring apron to pull herself to her feet, but Polly charges and
catches her with a baseball slide that sends Deanna back against the barricade!
Polly uses the ropes to pull herself up on the apron as she measures Deanna
before leaping off, intending to sandwich Deanna against the barricade with a
diving crossbody, but Deanna moves and Polly crashes chest-first into the
barricade! Some of the fans who witnessed it happen right in front of them
groan at the impact as Polly staggers back, gasping for air. Deanna recovers
and grabs Polly before throwing her back into the ring. She slides back in
after her as Polly rolls to her feet, still clutching at her chest and ribs,
and Deanna charges her and takes her down with a running back elbow! Polly
tries to sit up, but Deanna runs off the ropes and follows this up with a
swinging back elbow to the side of the head! She goes for the cover, hooking
the leg.
1!
2!
Polly gets her shoulder up right as Jennifer Cassidy’s hand hits the mat for
the two count!
Sharper: “It took Deanna a moment to get out of the starting block, but now she
seems to be firing on all cylinders.”
Knots: “It won’t be for long, trust me!”
Polly rolls towards the ropes before it looks like she’s going to roll out to
the floor, but Deanna doesn’t allow this as she grabs Polly and pulls her back
to her feet. She stuns Polly with another elbow strike before irish whipping
her across the ring and following right after her. Polly bounces off the ropes
and almost immediately catches Deanna’s knee to her gut, sending her flipping
to the mat! She starts trying to get back to her feet again, but Deanna grabs
her in a front facelock and flattens herself out, trying to wear Polly down on
the mat. Referee Jennifer Cassidy checks in with Polly on this submission, but
Polly refuses as she flails about, trying to squirm free of the facelock. She
ultimately starts inching towards the ropes until her hand and foot are
underneath the bottom rope, forcing Jennifer Cassidy to call for a rope break!
Deanna immediately releases the facelock, and while she backs off, Polly slides
out to the floor while Deanna rises.
Kayl: “Looks to me like Deanna’s still firmly in control right now, Jon.”
Sharper: “Deanna wearing down Polly, trying to keep her aggression in check so
she can walk out of London with the Adrenaline Title still in her possession.”
Deanna motions for Polly to get back in the ring, but as Polly starts to pull
herself up out on the floor, she ends up lifting the ring skirt and looking
around underneath. Jennifer Cassidy moves to warn Polly, but she ignores the
referee as she pulls out a steel chair! The fans begin booing as Polly goes to
slide into the ring with it, but backs off when Deanna starts to move in to
take the chair away from her. Polly just laughs before she unfolds the chair
and sets it right at the edge of the rampway. Deanna looks confused by this, but
Polly suddenly rushes back into the ring. Deanna attempts to catch her with a
knee strike as Polly rises, but she sidesteps it before taking Deanna down with
a drop toe hold before following it up with a chin lock! Polly makes sure
Deanna is looking at the chair she set up as she tries to grind her down.
Jennifer Cassidy checks in with Deanna, but she refuses to submit. As Polly
keeps cranking on the chin lock, we hear her saying something to Deanna that’s
drowned out by the booing fans and the chants of “DEANNA!” that rock Wembley
Stadium, the only thing we’re able to really catch being Selena Frost’s name.
Sharper: “Polly managing to psyche out Deanna as she’s now the one trying to
wear Deanna down with submissions, but what the hell does Polly have planned
for that chair?”
Kayl: “Is she trying to claim to Deanna that Selena’s going to come have a seat
or something?”
Knots: “Why not? A front row seat to watch the inferior Frost fail and prove
that Selena was doing the right thing on Breakdown!”
Deanna starts throwing right hands, catching Polly in the side of the head as
she tries to loosen her grip, the strikes growing a little more aggressive as
Polly seemingly keeps mentioning Selena in whatever she’s saying. Deanna
finally manages to get her feet under her and rises just enough to free herself
from the chin lock with a jawbreaker! Polly stumbles back, rubbing her jaw as
Deanna starts to rise, shaking her head. She boots Polly in the gut and hooks
her for a DDT, but Polly manages to twist out and pulls Deanna in for a
short-arm clothesline! Polly quickly follows this up with a jumping elbow drop
across Deanna’s chest before staying on her for the cover.
1!
2!
Deanna kicks out! Polly looks annoyed before she measures a slow-rising Deanna.
She goes to throw a roundhouse kick, but Deanna ducks it and takes Polly over
with a snapmare! She starts trying to transition into a rear naked choke, but
Polly scoots over towards the ropes. Just as it looks like Polly’s going to get
her feet on the bottom rope before she can get the hold fully locked in, Deanna
starts to loosen her grip and back off, but Polly reaches up and rakes her in
the eyes!
Sharper: “Polly going right to the eyes when she had no reason to!”
Knots: “All’s fair in the game of wrestling, Adam, and Polly clearly knows this
game better than Deanna does!”
Kayl: “Deanna was looking to break before Polly even fully got to the ropes…
that’s not like her, and that has me worried for whatever’s going on in her
head right now.”
Polly pulls herself up to her feet as Deanna takes a moment to clear her
vision. She ends up charging at Polly, but Polly uses the ropes for leverage as
she kicks Deanna back and backflips over the top rope, landing on the apron.
Polly glances back at the unfolded chair sitting right behind her, as if
contemplating, before shaking her head. She goes to slingshot herself at
Deanna, but Deanna catches her, leaving Polly’s feet draped over the top rope
before she plants her with a swinging neckbreaker! She drags Polly away from the
ropes before going for a cover, hooking the leg.
1!
2!
Polly kicks out! Deanna takes a deep breath, trying to maintain her composure
as she glances out at the chair Polly set up out on the floor, trying to shake
whatever thought Polly tried to put into her head out of it.
Sharper: “Huge neckbreaker from Deanna only gets two, but she desperately
needed that change of momentum!”
Kayl: “I think what happened on Breakdown is still bothering her, and it’s hard
to blame her.”
Knots: “Not for me, it’s not. Polly’s getting in her head and we’ve seen how
smart she can be when she really wants to force someone into a chess game!”
Polly starts to get back to her feet, looking a little annoyed now, but she
ends up turning right into a standing dropkick from Deanna! Deanna nods to
herself, starting to feel the momentum as the fans are cheering her on, trying
to help her get her head back in the game. Polly attempts to rise once again,
but Deanna runs off the adjacent ropes before drilling her in the side of the
head with a knee strike! She goes for a lateral press cover, hooking the leg
once more.
1!
2!
Polly suddenly hooks Deanna’s arm and manages to roll them over so that Polly
is the one with the pin now!
1!
2!
Deanna kicks out! As both women scramble to their feet, Deanna catches Polly
with another standing dropkick that knocks her back against the ropes. She goes
to grab Polly’s arm for an irish whip, but Polly jerks forward and shoves
Deanna off. Deanna rolls through, but as she does, we see Polly reach into her
skirt pocket. Deanna approaches and Polly goes to blow some dust she grabbed
right into Deanna’s face, but Deanna sees it coming and sidesteps it! Jennifer
Cassidy reprimands Polly, but she’s too furious about the failed attempt to
blind Deanna and rushes her for the Eat My Dust anyway, but Deanna drops to the
mat and Polly misses her completely before crashing into the mat herself! She
tries to scramble back to her feet, but Deanna boots her in the gut before
flipping her hair and planting her with a stiff-looking Spring Fling DDT!
Sharper: “Deanna managing to avoid the Eat My Dust and just plants Polly with a
hard Spring Fling!”
Kayl: “Looks like Deanna’s starting to wise up to some of Polly’s tricks!”
Knots: “Oh, don’t count on it, Devon. The game’s only just begun!”
Polly slowly starts crawling towards the ropes, perhaps thinking it may finally
be time to do something with that chair she’s had set up on the outside as
that’s the side she specifically chooses to head towards. Deanna, however, is
having none of this as she grabs Polly and delivers a hard knee strike to the
gut before following up with a second Spring Fling DDT! This time, she rolls
Polly over for the cover, hooking the leg.
1!
2!
Polly manages to get her other foot on the bottom rope! The fans groan as
Deanna looks up at Jennifer Cassidy before realizing what happened, looking
more frustrated with herself for not paying attention to where Polly was. Polly
grabs the ropes and starts trying to pull herself up, but Deanna grabs her from
behind in a rear waistlock, perhaps thinking german suplex, but Polly throws
herself forward and sends Deanna through the ropes and out to the floor! Deanna
almost goes flying into the chair but manages to stop herself. She turns around
just as Polly climbs out onto the apron, and Polly suddenly throws herself off
the apron and catches Deanna with a variation of Too Much For You that knocks
Deanna into the chair and then to her back as it topples over!
Sharper: “Polly just throwing herself off the apron and driving Deanna into
that chair she set up earlier!”
Knots: “Technically not a disqualification!”
Kayl: “That may be true, Jon, but Polly also can’t win the title out on the
floor.”
The fans are booing and Jennifer Cassidy is admonishing Polly about the chair,
but she snaps back about how it just so happened to be there when she landed on
Deanna. Polly grabs Deanna by the hair and throws her back in the ring before
she snaps the steel chair shut and slides that into the ring as well. As Polly
slides back in, Jennifer Cassidy gets to the chair first, admonishing Polly
again as the two of them get into a brief argument over it. The referee is firm
in her refusal to allow the chair before she goes to throw it out of the ring,
but as she’s distracted by this, Polly reaches into the same pocket she pulled
the dust out of earlier. Deanna gets to her feet, catching sight of Polly just
behind her, and suddenly runs off the ropes, hoping to surprise Polly with a
Burnout, but Polly sidesteps it before blasting Deanna with a stiff right hand!
As Deanna falls to the mat, Polly reveals she slipped on a pair of brass
knuckles to add more impact to the blow before she tosses the evidence out of
the ring and makes the cover. As Jennifer Cassidy realizes there’s a pin and
slides into position, Polly gets a deep hook on the leg and nods along with the
count.
1!
2!
Deanna gets a shoulder up!
Knots: “You’ve got to be kidding me! Blatant slow count!”
Sharper: “Hardly, Jon. Polly using the chair as bait and resorting to a pair of
brass knuckles she was hiding, but Deanna reminding her of just how hard it is
to keep her down!”
Kayl: “Polly pulling out every trick in the book, but she’s going to have to
dig a little deeper if she wants the Adrenaline Title!”
Polly is fuming as she stands up and gets right in Jennifer Cassidy’s face,
insisting that she slow counted and this match is over. The referee stands her
ground, though, even as Polly begins shoving her into the corner and
threatening her. Still, Jennifer Cassidy does not cave, and Polly goes to
strike her, only for Deanna to grab her from behind and save the referee with a
release german suplex! Polly hits the mat and briefly rolls up to her knees
before falling to her back, and Deanna takes a moment to clear her head after
the loaded punch before she runs to the ropes and springboards off the middle
one into a lionsault! She goes for a cover, getting a deep hook on the leg.
1!
2!
Polly gets a shoulder up!
Sharper: “Deanna saving the official and almost putting Polly away!”
Knots: “She distracted Polly! Jennifer Cassidy should lose her job and Polly
should be Adrenaline Champion right now!”
Kayl: “Polly started it! She’s got no one to blame but herself for losing
focus!”
Deanna slowly rises back to her feet, motioning for Polly to get up. She shakes
off the cobwebs as Polly slowly rises to her feet, staggering for a moment
before turning towards Deanna, who lifts her up onto her shoulders for The
Checkmate! Polly frantically kicks her legs and manages to slide off behind
Deanna before stumbling back towards the ropes. Deanna turns and rushes Polly,
leaping up to grab her for the Cold-Snapmare, but she seems to stop herself
from trying to take Polly over as the fans begin booing at the use of one of
Selena’s moves even if it was by pure instinct. Polly uses the momentum from
the ropes to throw Deanna off of her, and as Deanna staggers back, Polly smirks
before she runs in and takes Deanna over with a Cold-Snapmare of her own! The
booing only gets louder as Polly pops back up to her feet before running off
the ropes and catching Deanna as she tries to rise with The Head Turner! She
rolls Deanna over with her foot before going for the cover.
1!
2!
Deanna kicks out! Polly rolls off of her and starts slamming her hands against
the mat, absolutely losing it over the fact that she hasn’t won this match yet.
Sharper: “Deanna kicks out of The Head Turner after Polly stole one of Selena’s
moves!”
Knots: “Hey, Deanna stole it first! Of course she’s going to keep leeching off
of Selena’s greatness!”
Kayl: “Deanna relying on pure instinct in the moment there, but she had second
thoughts and it almost cost her.”
Polly glares up at Jennifer Cassidy, who holds firm on her two count. She huffs
before moving to drive her knee into the small of Deanna’s back, causing her to
cry out before Polly starts trying to apply The End Game. Deanna, however,
fights to keep Polly from pulling her arms into position before she manages to
slip through Polly’s legs and free herself. Deanna turns and crawls towards the
ropes, using them to help herself back to her feet, but Polly suddenly runs at
her and uses the ropes for momentum to pull Deanna into an O’Connor roll, only
for Deanna to manage to reverse it into a pin of her own!
1!
2!
Unlike at A Taste of Things to Come, this time Polly’s able to kick out just
before Jennifer Cassidy’s hand hits the mat for the three! As Polly scrambles
back to her feet, Deanna boots her in the gut before hooking her for the Red
Sunset, but as she goes to twist into it, Polly manages to slip free before
booting her in the gut now. She pulls Deanna’s head between her legs, motioning
that it’s over, but Deanna manages to backdrop her way out of the Polly Pop!
Polly manages to flip through and land on her feet, but as she turns, Deanna’s
already running off the ropes and catches her flush on the jaw with The
Burnout!
Sharper: “Burnout! Deanna finally caught Polly with the Burnout!”
Knots: “No! Polly will kick out of this! She has to!”
Kayl: “Sorry Jon, but I think Polly’s going to have to accept falling short
again!”
Polly crumples to the mat as Deanna falls on top of her for the cover, slowly
hooking the leg.
1!
2!
Just as Jennifer Cassidy’s hand is coming down for the three, Deanna’s ankle is
grabbed and she’s dragged out of the ring! The fans are booing as Deanna’s face
hits the mats out on the floor, and as she starts to get up she sees a hooded
figure standing over her, just as that hooded figure superkicks her right in
the face! Jennifer Cassidy immediately calls for the bell as Deanna crumples to
the floor and the hooded figure stands over her for a moment before grabbing
Deanna by the hair and hauling her to her feet, only to throw her face-first
into the turnbuckle post!
Sharper: “Who the hell is this!? This hooded figure just brutalizing Deanna
Frost!”
Knots: “I don’t have a clue, but I’m sure as hell not complaining!”
Kayl: “Deanna’s going to retain by disqualification, but she looked to be well
on her way to victory anyway. Whoever this person is, though… they’re
definitely trying to send a message.”
The hooded figure walks over to where Jennifer Cassidy discarded the steel
chair from earlier and picks it up. The referee rolls out of the ring and tries
to stop the figure, but they just shove her into the barricade before bringing
Deanna up to her knees, using the turnbuckle post to help keep Deanna propped
up as they wrap the steel chair around her head, making sure the seat is right
in front of Deanna’s face. As Deanna looks up through glassy eyes, the figure
reaches up and pushes the hood off their head, revealing the face of Dawn
Lohan! The fans lose it, some cheering for Dawn’s return but most booing
because of how she chose to return, but Dawn just ignores them as she crushes
Deanna’s skull between the chair and the ringpost with another superkick!
Deanna just falls to the floor, completely out, as Dawn just stares down at her
for a few moments before turning and making her way up the ramp.
Sharper: “What the hell!? Dawn Lohan is back! And she just decimated Deanna
Frost!”
Kayl: “It’s been ages since we’ve seen Dawn! Why now? And why assault Deanna?”
We can hear Knots sound like he wants to chime in, but he keeps stopping
himself, likely grappling with the fact that this means Polly’s lost this
match. Polly is slowly starting to stir in the ring but is still definitely out
of it. Meanwhile, Jennifer Cassidy is checking on Deanna as we see several
officials running down the ramp, right past Dawn, to help. Dawn pauses briefly
to turn and look at the damage she’s done as the fans keep booing all of this,
but she doesn’t react as she turns and continues making her way to the back.
The
scene goes backstage as we see Destiny Page standing with Dexter Grant. Wendell
stands with him, smiling at Destiny.
Page:
“Welcome backstage. Destiny Page here and I’m with Dexter Grant who will face
Ryan Lecavalier later. We heard her apparent reasoning for attacking you. What
say you?”
Grant:
“If that is why, because I deigned saying the name of Selena Frost…then you may
no longer have much going on up there. Desperation seems to be something both
of you have in common, but I will not be someone who is going to be a stepping
stone to relevancy. I am a former champion, no matter whether this company
wants to sweep that under the rug or not and I am someone who has a clean goal
here. It’s not the adulation of an egomaniacal so-called legend. It’s to help
everyone see the bigger problem – to see the forest for the trees – to
Disconnect to Reconnect! And Ryan…you may need it more than anyone. Because
you’ve lost the plot. Perhaps some silence will be helpful. Or maybe…it will
allow you to go away. We’ll find out starting tonight.”
Grant
turns to Wendell.
Grant:
“Come on. We need to prepare.”
Grant
walks off as Wendell looks at Destiny. The two sharing a brief friendly glance
before Wendell follows Grant.

the rampway.

At
that, Meghan turns it into a stride and hops up onto the apron, title in hand
and she wipes her boots before stepping into the ring and jumps up to the top
turnbuckle as she raises her fist in the air. She steps down and awaits her
opponent as she hands her precious Cowgirls kutte to her aunt, Vanessa Strader,
who has taken her place at ringside.
Phillips:
“And her opponent….”
“Believe
In Tomorrow” by Sunflower’s Garden begins to play as bright white lights begin
flickering on and off on the stage in rhythm with the music. La Pequeña Luz
skips out onto the stage with the kind of smile that could light up an entire
room all on its own plastered to her face, dancing a bit to her theme song and
waving her arms in an attempt to get the crowd pumped up, drawing cheers, the
US title around her waist.
Sharper:
“Hailing from Tulancingo, Hidalgo, Mexico… she is the current SCW UNITED STATES
CHAMPION…. LE PEQUENA LUZ!!!!!
As she
looks down towards the ring, the smile fades as something seems to flicker
through her mind, but as she runs her hands along the sleeves of her robe, her
smile returns and she proceeds to skip her way down the ramp. Once she reaches
ringside, Luz hops up onto the apron, grabbing the top rope before vaulting
herself into a somersault into the ring, landing on her feet. She begins
skipping around the ring, motioning once more for the fans to make some noise
as they answer this call before she goes to her corner, slowly removing the
robe and giving it a hug before setting it under the bottom turnbuckle. She
takes off her belt, handing it to the referee who holds it up centre ring. He
hands it to the time keepers as the dome settles into place.
DING
DING DING!!!
Pequena
and Strader stand in the centre ring, surrounded by weapons hanging from the
domed steel cage with the round opening at the top and the fans in the arena;
both women lean forward and shake hands as they prepare for the match. Collar
and elbow lockup, Pequena shoving with all of her 120 pounds, but Strader using
her six inches of height and 30 pounds advantage, but the US Champion’s heart
and grit creates a stalemate here in the match as they open it up
traditionally. Meghan breaks the hold and smirks at Luz, who returns it from
under her Luchadore mask.
Sharper:
“Luz is determined to show she is the true United States Champion.”
Kayl:
“And Strader is determined to show it was a fluke she still isn’t Champion.
Isn’t it odd that the US title is being fought for by a Mexican and a Canadian
in England?”
Knots:
“Strader is technically a US citizen as well.”
Staring
at each other and both go for a forearm shot, and both connect, sending the
other stumbling. Pequena charges forward with a jumping action clothesline,
Meghan ducking under and kicking backwards with her right foot. Pequena spins
around catching the foot. Meghan with a reverse enziguri catching Pequena just
over her right eye, sending her into the ropes. Meghan presses her advantage as
Pequena rebounds off the ropes missing a running forearm smash. Meghan spins
out of the way of the forearm, but doesn't avoid Pequena's kick into her ribs,
bending her over in pain. Pequena presses her advantage with a forearm to the
back of Meghan, sending her down on one knee. Meghan sends a right fist into
Pequena's midsection before shoving her back towards the center of the ring.
Pequena bounces off the ropes with a running knee, but Meghan slams Pequena
down onto the canvas with a spinebuster that seems to shake the very foundation
of the ring, the weapons rattling on the dome cage structure. Meghan off the ropes,
leg drop onto Luz has Meghan in firm control. Meghan pulls Pequena up, sending
her into the ropes, and he follows quickly with an elbow smash sending Pequena
over the top rope to the floor below. Pequena lands heavily on the outside, and
Meghan climbs up top, looking to do some major damage while she can. Pequena
gets up, a bit groggy, but turns to see Meghan flying at her with an axe handle
smash. Pequena catches Meghan, tossing her into the cage with a
release-belly-to-belly-suplex and the cage rattles upon impact as Strader's
frame bows out the mesh of the cage. Pequena stalks over, picking up the steel
chair hanging off the cage to use as a weapon. Pequena swings down as Meghan is
on one knee, connecting with a solid thunk on her skull and laying her out on
the floor, the un-padded concrete floor. The fans are on their feet, not
wanting to miss a minute of this action, and Pequena is pulling Meghan back up
to her feet.
Sharper:
“Pequena showing her strength is not only her physical speed but mental speed
as well, there as she threw Meghan into the cage.”
Kayl:
“No one is doubting or has ever doubted Pequena's strengths, but to count out
Strader would make you as dumb as rocks.”
Knots:
“I thought Strader would go for a weapon first.”
Meghan
with a shot into Pequena's lady parts, doubling the United States Champion over
in pain as she holds herself, but Meghan doesn't stop. Meghan sends Pequena
down with a swinging neckbreaker onto the floor and winces a bit as she gets up
to her feet a second time. Meghan digs under the ring as though the weapons
hanging from the cage aren't enough. Meghan pulls out a wooden table and she is
right, there are no tables hanging from the cage so she did just right. Meghan
sets up the table, looking over at Pequena who is on one knee. Meghan with a
running knee misses as Pequena ducks to the side, firing right hands rapidly
into Strader's ribs that he kicked earlier, but Meghan fights through with a
roundhouse kick to the back of Pequena's skull. Pequena accepts the blow, but
manages to somehow get up to her feet and meet Meghan with a look of
determination on her face (well, at least through her eyes and gritted teeth).
Right from Pequena, right from Meghan! Right from Pequena! Right from Meghan!
Kayl:
“The heart coming out of these two.”
Sharper:
“It is two of the proudest women to step into a SCW ring!”
Neither
woman has slowed down; they are both red and look sore, but neither woman has
stopped throwing fists into the other's face and head! Meghan with a left
catches Pequena off guard, but only for a moment as Pequena returns the left
fist with one of her own and now four fists are flying and four fists are
connecting! The crowd is still on its feet cheering on their favorite in this
duel of fists!
Sharper:
“Do you hear the sound of their fists striking flesh?!”
Kayl:
“I can't believe they are still standing!”
Knots:
“It’s like they are channelling their fathers.”
Meghan
stumbles, but so does Pequena as these two appear to be very evenly matched
here tonight! Pequena with a running charge, Meghan with a hip toss sends her
over to crash into the steel and leave a dent where she slammed into it as
well! Pequena rolls back over and somewhat up to her feet, Meghan with a
running knee slams it right into Pequena's face but the luchadore wavers on
herr knees shaking her head and refusing to go down. Meghan nods and slams a
second knee into Pequena's face before pulling her up and whipping her into the
corner post. Pequena's forehead connects with a solid sound and she bounces
back into a release German suplex that causes Pequena's skull to slam heavily
onto the concrete.
Kayl:
“Someone check the floor, it may be dented!”
Sharper:
“Meghan in control here, but who can tell for how long?”
Meghan
drops a knee onto Pequena's head before pulling her up and the back of
Pequena's shirt is bloody as the concrete opens up a wound on the back of her
skull, bleeding through her mask. Pequena stumbles forward, but Meghan helps
her along with a running bulldog slamming Pequena face first onto the concrete.
Meghan rolls Pequena over, slamming the back of her skull into the concrete,
trying to open the wound up even more, but Pequena shoves with a right hand and
Meghan backs off somewhat out of surprise. Meghan pulls Pequena up to her feet,
lifting the United States Champion up into the air for The Memory Remains!
Sharper:
“Look at the feat of strength here! Using her father’s finishing move!”
Kayl:
“Never thought I’d see Strader do a gorilla press slam into a vicious back
breaker that wasn’t the late Scott Nash Strader..”
Meghan
drops Pequena but she rolls on through, much to the shock of everyone. Pequena
up to her feet lunging at Meghan with a spear! Meghan spins out of the way,
Pequena runs up the side of the steps spinning around with a roundhouse kick
catching Meghan right in the face sending her against the ring apron. Pequena
with another Plow attempt, but Meghan once again spins out of the way. Pequena
dives into the ring, up to her feet quickly and off the opposite ring ropes.
Meghan turns around and Pequena launches herself over the top with a huge
plancha, Meghan catches her!
Sharper:
“Jesus!”
The
momentum carries Meghan into the steel structure, but Pequena uses the chance
to grab a staple gun and release a few staples into Strader's body!
Cathunk!
Cathunk!
Cathunk!
Cathunk!
Kayl:
“Pequena is treating Meghan like she is just a stack of papers!”
Meghan
drops Pequena, but Luz isn't finished; she sends a staple right into Strader's
forehead, causing a small trickle of blood to begin flowing from the wound.
Pequena, with a forearm, backs Meghan up a bit, but the clothesline sends her
down onto the wooden table Meghan set up a bit ago. Pequena looks up to the top
of the cage and out to the fans before digging under the ring as well. Pequena
pulls out a ladder, setting it up near Meghan for a very high risk move here to
possibly end the match.
Kayl:
“It's not often that these type of moves pay off, but when they do.”
Sharper:
“I hope she doesn’t take years off her career.”
Knots:
“They both have.”
Pequena
begins climbing up, but Meghan rolls off the table and shoves the ladder as
Pequena is half-way up its height. The ladder falls, but Pequena jumps down
before she is injured from the fall, she looks up and Meghan slams a chair
right into her face sending her against the Thunderdome. Meghan with a second
shot and a third busts the forehead of Pequena open and the blood begins to
flow down her face to create a crimson mask out of her actual mask.
Kayl:
“Now Pequena's bleeding from the forehead?”
Meghan
swings the chair again, but Pequena slams a double fist into her stomach
causing Meghan to drop the chair. Pequena lunges forward, but Meghan lifts a
knee to meet her face standing her back up. Meghan with a second knee catches
her in the midsection and a DDT puts her on the concrete for now. Meghan lifts
the ladder up, closing it and suplexing it onto Pequena's back before rolling
the champ up to her feet and slamming her face into a pizza pan hanging from
the side of the cage leaving a red smear that is not pizza sauce or salsa.
Knots:
“That’s not the right red sauce!”
Sharper:
What’s wrong with you?”
Kayl:
“We don’t wanna know.”
Pequena
stumbles away from the onslaught, but Meghan gives chase with another pizza pan
slam to the back of Pequena’s head this time. Pequena hits one knee and Meghan
removes a cheese grater from the cage wall, bringing it across Pequena's
exposed shoulder, drawing even more blood from the body of Luz. Meghan walks to
the front of Pequena kicking her in the face for a field goal that would have
been good from about forty yards that has Pequena seeing stars and a loss in
her future if she doesn't pull things together soon. Meghan drags the grater
across Pequena's back leaving red lines that slowly begin to fill with
Pequena's blood. Luz slumps onto her forearms as she tries to find the strength
to continue here in the match. Meghan lifts her up; Cherry Whiskey Bomb onto
the pizza pan and cheese grater!
Sharper:
“Pequena's body is going to look like raw hamburger meat!”
Kayl:
“They’re going to leave something, an imprint on one another. That’s for sure!”
Pequena
is out of it, she's got to be, but Meghan knows how tough Pequena is and how
she fights, so she keeps pouring the offense on as the fans cheer her on, but
half cheer for Pequena to get up. Meghan spies the table and a smile crosses
her features as she drags the lifeless form of Pequena over towards the table,
but Meghan doesn't place Pequena on the table, instead she shoves her backwards
into the ring apron before delivering a stunner to Luz to put her out for a
bit. Meghan digs under the ring pulling out another two tables and smiling as
she begins to set them up; Pequena still isn't moving. Meghan grabs a few steel
chairs and lays them on the first table in their ready to sit on position.
Meghan lifts a second table up on top of the first table of chairs and proceeds
to place a few chairs up there, stacking them on their backs(laying down).
Meghan stomps on Pequena's face for good measure before she sets the ladder up
and drags the third table up onto her shoulders to set it up on top and create
a three table tier. Meghan takes a moment to admire her handywork and knowing
it will finish Pequena off, it would finish anyone off.
Kayl:
“Meghan looking to put this match away here.”
Sharper:
“This doesn't look good for Pequena at all here.”
Meghan
begins dragging Pequena up the ladder, getting her ready for something big,
something huge, something major even. Meghan has the ladder steady and secure,
getting Pequena’s head under her arm, setting up her double arm DDT “Two for
the Show”!
WAIT!
Pequena
counters, fighting back to stand on the table fighting with Meghan on the
ladder! She sends jabs up under Strader, and unleashes a quick tornado DDT!
Meghan crashes through her monstrosity set-up, Pequenaa lands awkwardly in the
ring, but in better shape than Meghan. The English crowd erupts!
Sharper:
“Oh my God!”
Kayl:
“Look, Luz is making the first cover attempt!”
Knots: “Oh
she has this title retained!”
Luz
moves slowly, draping herself across The Matriarch!
1!
2!!!!
TH— NO!
KICKOUT!
The
commentators, fans and Luz are all in shock! Strader should be dead! Luz in a
state of dizziness shakes her head, and moves to the corner turnbuckle,
catching her breath, as she eyes Meghan slowly moving through the debris in the
ring. The referee moves into the ring, sliding debris out onto the floor as
Meghan slowly pulls herself up, in the opposite facing turnbuckle. Le Pequena
Luz’s crimson stained luchadore mask stares at Meghan who stares back, licking
the blood from her teeth, spitting a wad out onto the mat. Strader takes a
moment to pull the staples from earlier out of her forehead, blood trickling
down from the holes left.
Sharper:
“What’s scary here is they have barely used the Thunderdome structure and its
weapons!”
Kayl:
“Yeah, just about everything else tho! The referee has the ring just about
cleared now.”
Knots:
“And these two crazy putas are meeting each other again, centre of the ring!”
Pequena
moves in quickly and hits a quick right hook on Meghan. Meghan stumbles back,
Pequena lashes with a shin kick to her ribs. Meghan crumples forward and she
hooks her up inbetween her left arm and drives her elbow down into her spine a
few times with the right. Luz lays in one more elbow before falling back with a
DDT. Pequena is up first and quick, adrenaline surging through her veins and
picks Meghan up by the neck and head. She whips her into the ropes and as she
comes back she puts her arm out and clotheslines her to the canvas. The crowd
cheers as she bounces off the ropes and drops down onto her with a leg drop.
Meghan rolls away holding her neck and uses the ropes to get to her feet.
Pequena hits a quick stiff kick into her back as she gets to her feet and sends
the former US and Underground champ onto the outside quickly. Meghan slides
back in the ring and is met with quick kicks from Pequena as she puts her hands
on the ropes for leverage to stomp down on Meghan. Meghan manages to roll away
and gets to her feet. She runs towards the ropes and springboards herself off
the middle rope as Pequena gives chase but she side steps her and instead of
hitting the elbow she lands flat on her back in the ring. Pequena quickly with
an elbow drop on Meghan's back as she tries to roll away onto her stomach.
Sharper:
“It’s insane they are having this surge of energy.”
Kayl:
“Meghan's been through a lot! She’s just getting warmed up!”
Knots:
So is Luz apparently!
Pequena
flips her over and hooks both her legs!
1!
2!!
KICKOUT!
Meghan
laughs as she casually grabs the ropes pulling herself as Pequena slams her
bloodied fists into the mat. Pequena is determined with fire in her eyes as
Meghan looks up at her and laughs. She nails a soccer kick right into her ribs
but she still laughs even as she clutches her sides and coughs. Pequena goes
for another kick but Meghan's laughter disappears, replaced with rage as she
grabs her right leg and spins on her back. She sweeps Pequena off her feet to
the canvas and flips her over onto her stomach as he gets up and locks in a
half crab submission. She uses her knee pads under her blood soaked jeans for
grip as she pulls back and yells. She's reaching for the ropes, even though it
doesn’t mean anything except maybe she could break the hold by pulling herself
out. Meghan looks through the cage mesh at the SCWTron as the cameras show them
over the big screen, seeing this she lifts her forward with her and squats
towards the middle of the ring before dropping back onto her lower back and
pulling up and back with the submission move. Meghan's nodding her head. The
referee is on one knee and he asks Pequena if she's going to quit but she
obviously refuses to tap.
Kayl:
“Strader is gonna pull her leg out of its socket! The way she looked to the
tron to fortify the Half Crab!”
Sharper:
“I won't lie that was good veteran instinct on her part, but Pequena won't be
quitting this easily either.”
Meghan
lets go of the hold when she realizes Luz isn’t gonna tap. Spinning herself she
drives an elbow of her own into Pequena's spine. She holds her down and
violently lashes out with repeated elbows to her spine. She quickly jumps to
her feet and puts her foot down over her back, grabbing her arms and pulling up
now as she applies a surfboard submission on her, showing her evolving tactics.
She pulls and pulls, sliding her foot up and down over her back to alternate
the pressure points. Pequena's smarter than that and she uses her free legs,
swinging them painfully to the side to kick Meghan's foot out from beneath her.
Meghan trips up and falls back, nearly onto her back but she manages to catch
herself and balance out. Pequena is up quickly, rubbing her back only
momentarily before charging to Meghan. She lands a vicious bakatare sliding
kick that sends Meghan back down to the canvas. She quickly hops up the
turnbuckle and as Meghan gets on all fours she jumps off the top rope and
double foot stomps her right on the back. Meghan crumples flat onto the canvas
and kicks the canvas in pain from the significant pressure the move hit. The
crowd roars with approval as Pequena lifts Meghan up and whips her into the
ropes. Meghan comes back and Pequena with a THUNDEROUS ESPERENZA BRILLIANTE
that knocks the spit right out of Meghan's mouth. She bounces down to the
canvas and Pequena quickly hooks the legs again.
1!
Sharper:
“Pequena trying to put this one away as fast as she can!”
2!!
Kayl:
“She knows the longer this match goes, the less chance she has. That's all!”
TH-KICK
OUT!
As
Meghan kicks out she locks her legs around the arm Pequena used to hook them
with. She spins up and grabs her face and locks in a crippler crossface on
Pequena! Everyone in front row jumps up in disbelief to the reversal. The
referee is already down and asking Pequena if she's going to tap, she yells out
no each time he asks as Meghan pulls back harder and harder.
Sharper:
“Now this is interesting, folks. You'll notice Pequena's offense is much more
standard than Meghan's. Since Meghan’s brutality hasn’t been working so far in
this match, she’s "returning" to the oldest style she knows-
technical submissions.”
Meghan
maneuvers her body more and more onto Pequena's back as she pulls back on her
head and neck, locking in her arm well. She wildly throws punches at her and
hits her a few times in her side and shoulder but from her position the hits
aren't as hard as they could be.
Sharper:
“She is going to try to wear out Pequena's neck and back in the hopes that if
she can hit her finisher she will be cooked. But if there's anyone that can
survive this onslaught though it's Le Pequena Luz.”
Kayl:
“I honestly can’t say who is winning this match.”
Meghan
is trying to snap her arm back as he slowly wiggles her whole body onto
Pequena's, maintaining the crossface. She slides her clasped hands down over
her neck and yanks back harder than before, beginning to choke her. Meghan lets
go feeling she’s caused enough damage and she gets to her feet and stomps her
foot down. Pequena rolls onto her back and holds her throat in obvious pain.
She climbs to the top rope, carefully balancing herself as he looks down at
Pequena.
Sharper:
“Strader showing she knows how to fly as well.”
Meghan
stands up and raises her arms, signalling FATALITY by slapping her knee!
Meghan
flies off, and the cameras flash as she starts to drive her knee down but Luz
rolls out of the way at the last second, saving her forehead. Meghan rolls
right out of the ring yelling and cussing her out. Pequena is back on her feet
and waves to the cheering fans.
Sharper:
“It backfired, and HARD folks! Meghan is in a lot of pain right now and Pequena
is up and ready to get back to her.”
The
referee rushes over saying something to Meghan and she is obviously saying no
to whatever question it is he asked. Pequena steps out of the ring onto the
apron. Pequena comes off with an axehandle smashes Meghan and takes the full
force of the hit.
Strader
puts Luz in a hammerlock, but Luz quickly counters with a sharp elbow to the
nose , and Luz follows it up with a sharp
roundhouse kick, sending Strader into the ropes. Strader comes storming out of
the ropes and nails Luz with a right hook, and follows it up with a big
uppercut. Luz staggers back, and Strader goes for a grapple, but Luz drives her
knee into Strader’s gut
and plants her into the mat with a DDT.
Sharper:
“Luz is trying to take the advantage back in the match, Kayl. She’s gotta keep
Meghan on the defensive if she plans to win this match.”
Knots:
“I agree, but that’s a hard task. We all know how tough Meghan is… some say she
is the reason Syren is the World Champion.”
Luz
gets Strader to her feet and sends her into the ropes.
Luz drops for a telegraphed dropkick, but Strader sidesteps away from it. Luz
crashes to the mat, but immediately gets up. Strader delivers a stiff kick to
Luz’s
stomach and lifts Luz up for a big-time powerbomb!
Kayl:
“Meghan channeling her father there.”
Sharper:
“His entire body for that matter!”
Knots:
“She is a pretty hot mom.”
Strader
goes into the ropes and does a big-time elbow drop to Luz’s bad ankle. Strader
up to her feet, and stomps on Luz’s ankle some more.
Sharper:
“It was only a matter of time before Strader went for that ankle or her legs;
slow Luz down and ground her. But I bet Luz knows Strader’s weaknesses too.”
Strader
lays off a moment and Luz uses the ropes to get back to her feet. She is
favouring her ankle, and Strader moves in to attack. Luz dodges a right hook,
and delivers a gut punch to Meghan. Luz follows that up immediately with a left
hook to Meghan’s jaw, and then smashes Meghan’s face into the turnbuckle. Luz
grabs Meghan by the head, climbing up the turnbuckle with her feet, leaping off
the top and hitting a big-time tornado DDT!
Kayl:
“What a move!”
Sharper:
“Luz can still pull off some great moves despite that ankle damage.”
Luz
slides to the outside and begins looking at the domed structure for weaponss.
She pulls down a few chairs, a smaller step ladder, and a baseball bat. She
tosses her haul into the ring. Luz climbs up on the apron and then climbs to
the top turnbuckle. Strader gets to her feet, but gets immediately knocked back
down with a missile dropkick from Luz. Luz gets to her feet and picks up one of
the chairs.
Kayl:
And Luz’s calling for it! She’s gonna try to put an end to this thing right
now!
Sharper:
“That’s smart, Kayl. The sooner she can get this over with, the less pain
she’ll have to suffer in that ankle.”
Kayl:
“And the hamburger she calls her shoulders.”
Luz
rushes and swings, but Strader blocks it with the other chair. Luz tries one
more time, and their chairs collide. They hold them together, face to face, but
Strader begins to overpower Luz. Luz slips out of the hold and sweeps Strader
off her feet with the chair. Luz lifts the chair high into the air and slams it
down on Meghan’s chest.
Sharper:
“OH MAN! That’s gotta hurt!”
Kayl:
“Meghan is clutching her chest, I think he suffered a broken rib! Looks like
something is protruding from under her form fitting Cowgirls shirt. “
Sharper:
“And you can bet your bottom dollar that Luz knows that!”
Knots:
“My.. what?”
Sharper:
“It’s an expression.”
Luz
throws the chair away and gets Strader to her feet. She lands a right hook, and
then slams Strader into the turnbuckle. Luz throws the ladder on top of Strader
in the corner and then rushes to the other corner. Luz throws her arm up and
then charges. She leaps and tries for a corner splash, but Strader shoves the
small step ladder into Luz’s face!
Sharper:
“Good God! Strader just cracked Luz’s head with that ladder!”
Kayl:
“That was a dangerous move from Luz, but there would have been a hell of a pay
off if Strader hadn’t reversed.”
Sharper:
“It’s go big or go home for these two.”
Kayl:
“Neither wants any doubt who is the true United States Champion.”
Strader
gets a hand on that baseball bat that Luz threw into the ring. Luz manages to
get to her feet, shaking off that hit from the ladder. Strader’s in the
batter’s box. She swings.. single to left field!
Kayl:
“And Strader just nailed Luz straight in the gut with that bat!”
Sharper:
“She’s going for an encore and hits a homerun off Luz’s back!”
Luz
goes down on one knee, yelling in pain. Strader begins to choke Luz with the
bat. All the referee can do is sit back and watch, there are no
disqualifications. Luz drops to both knees, her face turning red, from what we
can see under drying blood on the open parts of her mask. She’s trying to
fight, but she can’t overpower Strader. Luz falls to the mat with Strader still
trying as hard as she can to choke Luz out. Luz’s face turns pale.
Sharper:
“She’s gonna kill her! Do something!”
Kayl:”
The ref can’t do anything!”
Finally
when Strader thinks it’s enough, she lets go. Luz lays there motionless on the
mat. The crowd is in a bit of a silence, waiting to see if Luz will come out of
it. Meghan relaxes in the corner, catching her breath (and holding her ribs),
bearings and trying to see through the crimson mask of her own face. Luz
manages to get to a knee and uses the ropes as quickly as she can to get to her
feet as Strader comes rushing in. Strader spears Luz into the corner. Strader
rams her shoulder into Luz once more, and then picks Luz up and hits a big
belly-to-back suplex. Luz crashes on one of the chairs. She’s holding her back.
Strader picks up the baseball bat again. Strader swings and connects with Luz’s
face!
Kayl:
“OH MY GOD! Strader might have broken Luz’s jaw with that!”
Sharper:
“And Luz’s face is busted wide open, folks! Not a pretty sight! Imagine what
it’s like under the mask?”
Knots:
“If Strader’s face is any indication…”
Strader
looks at the bat with Luz’s blood on it. She tosses it away and picks Luz up.
She tosses her into the corner with one arm, and then hits a running
clothesline. Luz falls to the mat and Strader keeps the assault alive with a
series of punches and stomps.
Kayl:
“I don’t know if Luz can take much more of this, Sharper. She just can’t seem
to keep an offense going against Strader in these kinds of matches.”
Sharper:
“I agree, Kayl. In a match like this, you gotta give the edge to Strader.
That’s why Strader won against Polly when she first came in. No rules benefit a
mind like hers.”
Strader
sets up the ladder in the opposite corner. She gets Luz up to her feet and
tries to whip her into the ladder, but Luz reverses and kicks Strader low. Luz
grabs Strader by the head and throws her headfirst into the ladder.
Kayl:
“Good reversal by Luz there!”
Sharper:
“That definitely looked painful, but Strader is up to her feet.”
Luz
leaps up to the top rope her back to the ring. Luz then leaps backwards off,
corkscrewing around to face Strader, and then somersaults over her, hooking her
head with one arm and using her other to wrap around Meghan’s throat. Upon
landing, the result is a shock to the back of the neck and the throat of her
opponent.
Kayl:
“What the?”
Sharper:
“Luz just nailed Strader with something I have never seen her do before…”
Kayl:
“Her neck landed on one of those dented chairs! That’ll definitely give that
move a boost in pain!”
Luz
gets to her feet as the crowd goes crazy. The ref starts the count as she hooks
Meghan’s legs..
1!
2!!!!
NO!!!!
Strader
gets to her feet, still a little dazed. The ref checks her out, and Strader
continues the fight. Luz gets on the defense, but Strader unleashes a quick jab
and then takes Luz down with a clothesline. Luz gets back up and Strader tries
for a big boot, but Luz dodges and sweeps Strader to the mat. Luz leaps off the
top rope with a perfect moonsault.
Kayl:
“And Luz is staying on the offensive!”
Sharper:
“That was quickly executed.”
Strader
gets to her feet and Luz nails a right hook. Luz tries for another punch, but
Strader blocks it and grabs Luz by the throat.
Kayl/Sharper:
“CHOKESLAM!”
Strader
slams Luz to the mat with a massive chokeslam. Luz yells in pain as she
connects with some of the ladder. Strader puts the ladder over Luz’s head and
chest, and ascends to the top rope. She stands tall atop the high turnbuckle,
ready to sacrifice it all for the win.
Kayl:
“Good God, Strader could crush Luz with this move.”
Sharper:
“This can’t be happening.”
Strader
jumps in leg drop fashion and connects with the ladder, and nothing else.
Sharper:
“Luz slipped out in time! Strader is in severe pain!”
Luz
gets to her feet, blood still pouring out of her nose. She wipes it away and
begins to lay into Strader. Rights and lefts, and even a few kicks for good
measure. Strader looks dazed lying on the mat. Luz grabs Strader and tosses her
out of the ring. Luz nails a right hook and sends Strader into the barricade.
Strader fights back with a left jab that sends Luz staggering back, then
Strader spears Luz into the side of the ring. Luz drops Strader to a knee with
a double-arm axe handle to Strader’s back. Luz shoves Strader to the ground and
begins to stomp on her some more.
Kayl:
“This is madness, Sharper. This is no longer about winning. This has become a
fight of attrition!”
Sharper:
“Don’t be overdramatic... These two have been through this before. Mind you,
different opponents, but at the end of the day they are both professionals.”
Knots:
“Funny, I don’t recall Strader ever hitting a home-run off of Luz’s face
before.”
Luz
grabs Strader by the hair and begins to drag her to the centre of the ring.
Strader tries to fight it, and nails Luz in the gut. Luz is doubled over and
Strader, on her knees, manages to take Luz down with a powerful uppercut. Luz’s
mask is even bloodier, and Strader gets to her feet. Strader hits a German
suplex on Luz that sends her back first into the far corner!
Sharper:
“Damn that’s gotta hurt!”
Kayl:
“I could feel her back breaking from here, Sharper. That’s harsh!”
Strader
gets to her feet again and continues to punish Luz with those brutal stomps.
Strader grabs Luz by the hair, and they are back centre ring. The Matriarch
doubles Luz over and places her head between her thighs, leaning over to hook
her arms around Luz’s arms. Meghan then goes to lift Luz up and jump back,
going for My Friend of Misery (Pedigree). Luz drops to a knee to block Meghan
from making the move.
Sharper:
“Trying to hit her OG finisher here!”
Kayl:
“Pedigrees hurt.”
Strader
fights off Luz’s attacks and lifts Luz up but she blocks, back body drops
Meghan in a reversal.. Strader turns and is furious back on her feet quickly.
Sharper:
“Luz escaping that!”
Kayl:
“And Strader charges and tries to hit Luz with a right hook and misses!”
Sharper:
“Luz fires back and nails Strader square in the jaw! Strader gets turned around
and now.”
With
Strader’s back to her, Luz goes behind her, reaching over her shoulder to grab
Strader’s head in an inverted cravate, as if to go for a neckbreaker. She then
quickly spins Strader around, dropping to a knee, and slams Strader face-first
into her knee.
Kayl:
“ouch!”
Sharper:
“That was dead centre between the eyes, she looks out cold.”
Luz
looks up at the opening at the top of the dome, and down at Meghan. She sees
her chance, slides out of the ring, and like a spider-monkey, Le Pequena Luz
begins to scale the dome from the inside.
Sharper:
“Oh my god, she’s scaling the dome. She needs to pin Strader here.”
Knots:
“She has to do something drastic to get this win, let’s see what she does.
Luz
reaches the top, and pulls herself up, sitting on the edge of the round
opening, looking out at the crowd, and down at Strader. She takes a deep
breath, climbs down slightly, and pushes herself off, flipping in the air with
the Ilumina Noches but Strader moves last second, and Luz bounces hard off the
mat up into Strader’s arms and Meghan twists around hitting…
Sharper:
“BLACKENED!!!! STRADER GOT UP AND CAUGHT HER!”
Knots:
“Wow…”
Kayl:
“What a game of possum!”
The
referee drops for the count.

Phillips:
“And your winner… and NEW SCW United States Champion…. MEGHAN
STRADERRRRR!!!!!!!!!!”
The
dome begins to lift as Meghan rolls off Luz, finding a corner turnbuckle and
leaning into it, staring at the fallen Luz in front of her. She shakes her head
as the Cowgirls From Hell rush underneath the rising cage, propping up their
leader as Tamika grabs the US strap, handing it to her big sister. Meghan takes
it, her music playing loudly throughout the arena, as she continues to stare at
Luz. She waves to the back like she is signalling medical.
Sharper:
“She just won her belt back in her eyes, and still calls for Luz to be looked
over. That’s class.”
The
scene fades out.
We open
up with a shot of Gavin Taylor low blowing Shaun Cruze before we see a shot of
Polly Playtime holding the SCW Underground Championship.
“We all
have moment where we think we have it…have victory in our grasp.”
We then
see a shot of Amelia Nevado going for a victory roll only for Glory to drop
down and cover her. We then see a shot of David Striker getting hit by Johnny
Dollar’s car.
“But
always secure victory. Always make sure that they stay down…”
We see
a shot of Cid Turner kicking out against James Evans, before showing Shaun
Cruze kicking out against Gavin Taylor, and then showing a Glimmer sister
kicking out against the Vision.
“Because
if you get too comfortable…your glory, becomes your undoing…”
We then
see a shot of Clyde Sutter smirking, before showing Lexy Chapel looking around,
yelling at someone, before showing Dexter Grant getting interrupted, and then
showing Chris Lawler choking Dante Slayton in the ropes.
“SCW
presents Hubris, live on pay per view, on Sunday, April 26 in Melbourne,
Australia.”
The
Hubris logo comes up on the screen and remains there for few moments before
fading to black.
Dexter
Grant vs. Ryan LeCavalier
Phillips:
“The following contest is scheduled for one fall!”
The arena falls into a deep, anticipatory hush as the lights abruptly dim,
plunging the crowd into darkness. The air is thick with anticipation, and
suddenly, the ominous beats of "Praise" by Zhu, Banks, and Bludnymph
pulse through the speakers, filling the arena with an eerie energy. The voice
of BANKS echoes through the space, setting a haunting tone:
"I built me up high, a building so high, you know. Up where the birds fly,
it was a long time ago."
The tension is palpable as a single spotlight slices through the darkness,
casting an intense beam onto the entrance ramp. The crowd holds its breath as
the silhouette of her figure begins to emerge, shrouded in an aura of menace
and mystery. Dressed in a breathtaking ensemble of black and gold, her outfit
shimmers with an almost ethereal glow, reflecting her dominance and
superiority.
As she steps into the light, the chorus surges, magnifying her grand entrance
and asserting her control:
"I got the view from the stars, baby, stars, baby. You look up at me like
a god, baby, god, baby."
With a deliberate, measured pace, she strides down the ramp, each step
resounding with authority and command. Her hair cascades behind her, catching
the light and adding a dramatic flair to her entrance. Her gaze is sharp and
unyielding, scanning the crowd with a mix of disdain and amusement, daring them
to challenge her.
Suddenly, pyrotechnics explode around her, their bursts of light and smoke
accentuating her every movement. The strobe-like flashes create a stark
contrast between light and shadow, emphasizing her formidable presence. The
chorus of "Praise" swells dramatically, enveloping the arena in a
pulsating rhythm:
"This is how I got name, this is how I got my fame. You and me are not the
same, this is why you give me praise."
Phillips: “Introducing first, currently residing in Los Angeles, California,
they are The Lost Monarch… Ryan LeCavalier!”
As she nears the ring, she pauses, her eyes locking onto the spectators at
ringside. She smirks, exuding an aura of disdain and arrogance, relishing in
their fear and respect. With a contemptuous glance, she continues her march
toward the ring, her every move a testament to her dominance and control.
Ascending the ring steps with an almost ritualistic grace, she pauses at the
top, surveying the arena with a look of disdainful triumph. With a flourish,
she steps through the ropes, her entrance complete. Raising her arms in a
gesture of defiance and power, she locks eyes with her opponent, the tension
between them electric.
The music crescendos to a thunderous climax, and the crowd erupts into a
cacophony of boos and jeers, their voices a testament to her impact and infamy.
She stands ready in the center of the ring, her presence alone a declaration of
her readiness for the fight ahead.
As the final notes of "Praise" fade into the night, the echoes of the
chorus linger in the air, a haunting reminder of her dominance and control:
"Give me (Praise), Give me (Praise)."
And with that, the stage is set, the battle lines drawn, and the arena braces
itself for the match that's about to take place.
Sharper: “This match came about after Ryan LeCavalier shoved Dexter Grant-”
Knots: “After that nutjob hijacked my Spring Break perch for one of his dumb
speeches!”
Sharper: “-and according to that interview a little bit ago, she’s claiming
it’s because she feels she owes Selena one.”
Kayl: “I know Dexter has had a lot to say about the Frost family in general as
of late, and who knows what his two cents were going to be on what Selena tried
to pull on Breakdown, but it does feel odd that Ryan stepped up to defend the
honor of someone who she was obsessed with getting a rematch against after
Selena just narrowly beat her in an Ironwoman Match a while back.”
“TokSik” by Starset hits as the lights in the arena immediately go out, a
series of green spotlights converging onto the stage where fog has begun to
consume it. The big screen shows a human eye opening, and reflecting in it is a
montage of people glued to their phones and computers, either consuming or
producing social media garbage as they all look sickly while doing so. “The
Digital Detoxer” Dexter Grant marches out through the fog, stopping at the edge
of the stage and staring out at the fans with disgust. A few cheers can be
heard, but they're easily drowned out by all the boos raining down upon him. He
turns his head to his right just in time to see his faithful flunky Wendell
march out behind him, proudly holding up a protest sign that has the
circle-backslash symbol with a wi-fi symbol behind the backslash and the words
“DISCONNECT TO RECONNECT” written within the circle. Wendell eagerly looks up
at Dexter, who smiles and nods in approval before he starts storming down to
the ring, his disgusted look returning at the sound of all the people around
him who just refuse to listen to his message.
Phillips: “Her opponent, being accompanied to the ring by Wendell, from ‘Off
the Grid,’ he is The Digital Detoxer… Dexter Grant!”
He jumps up onto the apron and aggressively steps through the ropes, marching
to the center of the ring and turning his back to the hard cam as he points his
thumb to the same “DISCONNECT TO RECONNECT” logo of his on the back of his
vest. Wendell crawls into the ring and stands beside Dexter, proudly holding up
his sign before looking legitimately confused as to why they're being booed.
The lights return to normal as Dexter starts to pace around the ring.
Kayl: “No love for anybody in this match, it looks like.”
Knots: “Ryan gets my support! Behead this idiot for the things he’s had to say
about Selena!”
Kayl: “...I can’t believe Jon and I are in agreement on something. Having an
issue with Dexter Grant, not anything to do with Selena, I want to make that
clear.”
Sharper: “Dexter Grant certainly feeling the loss of the Adrenaline Title that
he was so accustomed to using to get himself a platform. He’s been trying to
spread this message of his, whatever it may be now, but aside from a win over
Damon Cage a couple of weeks ago, he’s still trying to pick up the pieces after
falling short in the finals of Shot of Adrenaline.”
Wendell goes to ask Jason Phillips for the microphone, but Ryan moves to stand
in his way. Wendell holds up his hands and backs off as Jason Phillips exits
the ring, and Dexter just huffs before he goes to lean over the ropes and
demand the microphone himself. When he doesn’t get it, he turns to just take
out his frustration on Ryan, but she’s already taking him to the mat with a
single leg takedown! Referee Jennifer Cassidy shoos Wendell out of the ring
before signaling for the bell to officially start this match as Ryan floats
into a side mount and grabs Dexter’s arm, wrenching on it in an armbar as she
drives her knee into the ball of his shoulder. Dexter immediately reaches out
and grabs the bottom rope as Jennifer Cassidy calls for the break.

Ryan lets go and backs away, smirking at Dexter as he climbs back to his feet,
looking more irritated than usual.
Sharper: “Not the start Dexter wanted to this match as Ryan not only denied him
a chance to speak, but also quickly establishing her belief that she’s the more
technically sound of the two of them.”
Knots: “We’re all better off not having to hear whatever crackpot nonsense
Dexter wants to spew tonight!”
Kayl: “I agree with Jon and I think I’m going to throw up because of it.”
Dexter slowly sheds his vest and tosses it out to the floor as he and Ryan
circle one another now. As they look to lock up, Dexter lunges for a knee
strike to the gut, but Ryan sidesteps it before catching him with a high-angle
dropkick! Dexter hits the mat and scurries back to his feet, but a second
dropkick sends him to the mat once more! He tries getting back to his feet
again, but this time Ryan runs off the ropes and connects with a knee lift!
Dexter rolls across the mat and out to the floor under the bottom rope,
staggering once his feet hit the mats before he slams his palms against the
barricade in frustration while Wendell jogs over to reassure him. Ryan suddenly
runs of the ropes, looking for some sort of suicide move as Wendell tries to
use his body to shield Dexter, but Ryan springboards off the second rope and
moonsaults back, landing on her feet and striking an elegant pose that only
draws more jeers from the fans, but gets Wendell breathing a sigh of relief as
Dexter is downright fuming now.
Sharper: “Ryan just toying with Dexter now as he hasn’t even been able to get
anything really going yet in this match.”
Knots: “Dexter is simply outclassed! He’s only had it so good for so long
because he’s never met anybody of Ryan’s skills!”
Kayl: “As much as I hate giving the man any sort of due, Dexter can definitely
go and Ryan may be making a mistake in taunting him like this.”
Dexter pushes past Wendell and slides into the ring before rushing Ryan, but
she ducks a clothesline attempt. She goes to grab him for an inverted atomic
drop, but Dexter just thumbs her right in the eye to protect himself! The fans
boo all the same as Ryan tries to clear her vision, but Dexter runs off the
ropes and catches her with a jumping high knee right between the eyes! He goes
for a lateral press.
1!
2!
Ryan kicks out right at the count of two! Dexter, however, immediately starts
stomping away at her, unleashing all of his fury as the fans just boo louder
and louder.
Sharper: “Dexter going right to the eyes to finally find a way into this
matchup.”
Kayl: “It’s cheap, but unfortunately effective.”
Knots: “As cheap as everything else about this guy probably is!”
Dexter takes a moment to walk around the ring, staring out at the booing fans.
He then runs off the ropes and jumps right into a knee drop across Ryan’s face!
Ryan rolls towards the ropes, clutching her face and trying to get her
bearings, but Dexter grabs her and drapes her throat over the middle rope
before kneeling across her back, trying to choke the life out of her as he
berates her!
Grant: “You want to be like Selena, huh? Hog the spotlight, act like you’re
more important than you are? No different than those social media wannabes who
worship her and want her acknowledgment!”
Jennifer Cassidy counts for a break, and Dexter finally breaks just as she’s
about to reach five and disqualify him. He’s undeterred by this, though, as he
runs off the ropes and leaps to drive his knee against the back of Ryan’s head,
causing her throat to rebound off the middle rope! Ryan hits the mat, clutching
her throat and gasping for air, and Dexter doesn’t help matters as he kneels
down and applies a sleeper hold!
Sharper: “Dexter now the one who’s all over Ryan!”
Knots: “How dare he choke Ryan out and say such things about Selena! What’s
wrong with this guy?”
Kayl: “I feel like that’s a question with a million answers, but I’m more
curious about when you started to care about Selena, Jon.”
Knots doesn’t answer this as Dexter continues to try and put Ryan to sleep.
Jennifer Cassidy checks in, but Ryan refuses to submit. She stretches one of
her legs towards the ropes as Dexter tries to drag her back towards the center
of the ring, applying more pressure on the sleeper as he does so. Ryan
eventually gets her feet under her and starts to rise, but Dexter continues
trying to apply more pressure. Ryan eventually twists her body enough to take
Dexter down with an inside cradle!
1!
2!
Dexter kicks out, releasing the sleeper hold in the process! Ryan slowly starts
to rise as Dexter seethes for a moment before charging her, but Ryan manages to
lift him up and drop him throat-first across the top rope with a stun gun! Dexter
staggers back, clutching at his throat, and Ryan grabs him in a rear waistlock
before taking him over into a german suplex, sticking the bridge for the pin!
1!
2!
Dexter gets a shoulder up!
Sharper: “Ryan managing to escape the sleeper hold and now she’s got Dexter on
the back foot once again.”
Knots: “Did you see that german suplex! Beautiful! Future champion right here!”
Kayl: “Assuming Ryan can pull herself together considering that lately she’s
been-”
Knots: “Are you not watching the match, Devon! Of course she’s all put together
now!”
Dexter crawls to the corner and uses the turnbuckles to help himself back to
his feet. He turns and Ryan immediately clobbers him with a european uppercut!
She lays into him with several more european uppercuts before she backs off,
moving towards the center of the ring as Dexter slowly staggers out of the
corner. She proceeds to run past him and springboards off the second turnbuckle
before catching him with the Relativisme! Instead of going for the cover, Ryan
takes a moment to reposition Dexter before she hops up onto the second
turnbuckle and leaps off with the Lumière d’Arc! She goes for the cover,
hooking the leg.
1!
2!
Dexter gets a shoulder up!
Sharper: “Two very impressive moves back-to-back and Dexter just barely
managing to kick out and stay in this match!”
Knots: “A thing of beauty. Ryan making Dexter pay for trying to ruin my Spring
Break!”
Kayl: “Pretty sure she’s not trying to beat Dexter for you, Jon.”
Ryan looks down at Dexter and stomps at him a few times to make sure he stays
down before she goes back over to the turnbuckles. She looks like she’s about
to leap onto them, but pauses when Wendell reaches into the ring and grabs her
ankle! She looks down at him, almost as if asking if he’s seriously doing this
before she kicks his hand off and almost dares him to try again. Wendell backs
away before Ryan proceeds to double springboard off the turnbuckles into the
Presque l'amour, but Wendell’s distraction bought Dexter enough time to recover
as he rolls towards the corner to avoid it! Ryan lands on her feet, however,
but as she closes in to try and keep Dexter on the defensive, he comes up
spinning and cracks her with the Unwanted Notification! Ryan drops to the mat
like a ton of bricks and Dexter goes for the cover.
1!
2!
Ryan kicks out!
Knots: “Damn that kid! Why doesn’t he just go waste time with Destiny being
useless together around here?”
Sharper: “Wendell buying Dexter enough time to recover as the Unwanted
Notification puts Ryan in a bad spot right now!”
Kayl: “Dexter’s clearly trained Wendell to be the most optimal nuisance at the
absolute worst of times!”
Dexter slowly stands up, running a hand through his hair and glaring down at
Ryan. He proceeds to scoop her up and walks to the center of the ring, staring
out at the booing masses before trying to swing Ryan into the Doomscrolling,
but Ryan lands on her feet and grabs his arm before slipping behind him, trying
to apply the BODY/PRISON! Dexter plants his feet, fighting to keep Ryan from
getting the submission fully applied before he manages to drop to a knee and
throw her off over his shoulder. Ryan rolls through, and Dexter immediately
grabs her in a cobra clutch before planting her with the Unplugged! Dexter
quickly reapplies the cobra clutch before bridging into the Logout Lock! The
fans are still booing as Jennifer Cassidy checks in with Ryan, but she refuses
to submit.
Sharper: “Unplugged right into the Logout Lock and Ryan is being tortured right
now by the Digital Detoxer!”
Knots: “This referee needs to disqualify Dexter because I’m pretty sure torture
is illegal! At least here in Wembley… if this were the Tower of London, it’d be
a different story!”
Kayl: “I doubt Dexter would care even if that were true, Jon. We’ve seen he
will literally do anything to get a win on the board in the name of his
so-called cause.”
Ryan starts inching her way towards the ropes as Dexter maintains his bridge,
trying to make Ryan tap out or pass out to the Logout Lock. She gets close and
stretches a long leg out, her foot brushing against the bottom rope, but
Wendell suddenly grabs the rope and pulls it further away! Jennifer Cassidy
immediately goes to admonish Wendell, the distraction leading Dexter to release
the Logout Lock as he drags Ryan back to the center of the ring. Instead of
reapplying it, however, he instead starts to hook Ryan in the Disconnect to
Reconnect, but she manages to roll through and escape! Dexter goes to try and
grab her, but Ryan suddenly blasts him with the ULTRAVIOLENCE! Dexter collapses
to the mat and Ryan goes for the cover, with Jennifer Cassidy taking a few
extra seconds to realize it as she’s still admonishing Wendell for his
interference before she finally slides into position.
1!
2!
Dexter gets a shoulder up just before the count of three!
Sharper: “Dexter Grant just barely kicks out after that nasty kick from Ryan!”
Knots: “It’s all the referee’s fault! She was too busy yelling at Dexter’s
groupie instead of just giving him the boot!”
Kayl: “Jennifer Cassidy doing her job and chewing out Wendell for his
interference, but it definitely may have cost Ryan this pin.”
Ryan looks annoyed as she glances up at Jennifer Cassidy before she rises to
her feet. Dexter slowly starts to rise, but while he’s bent over, Ryan proceeds
to hammerlock his far arm while using her forearm to lift his closer arm up to
tie him up. She says that this is over before she goes for the Sacrament, but
Dexter manages to jerk his head out of the way and avoid the knee strike before
using Ryan’s momentum to shove her towards Jennifer Cassidy. Ryan manages to
put on the breaks before she collides with the referee, but as she turns,
Dexter pokes her right in the eyes! Ryan tries desperately to clear her vision
as Jennifer Cassidy scolds Dexter, but he proceeds to boot Ryan in the gut and
hook her in a front facelock. He snarls out at the booing fans before he lifts
Ryan and spikes her with the Detox Drop! Dexter rolls Ryan over and makes the
cover, hooking the leg.
1!

3!
Jennifer Cassidy calls for the bell as “TokSik” by Starset hits the speakers
again, the fans still booing as Dexter rises to his feet. The referee goes to
raise his arm, but he rips it away before he stands over Ryan, his glare
fixated on the camera as it pans a bit closer.
Grant: “This is the beginning of the end of SCW’s monarchy! Without their
crowns, you’re all one step closer to being free! Disconnect… to Reconnect!”
Phillips: “Here is your winner… Dexter Grant!”
Knots: “Did he, though? He had to go for the eyes to steal this one!”
Sharper: “Like it or not, Dexter Grant manages to overcome a very game Ryan
LeCavalier tonight and take a big step towards rebuilding all that momentum he
lost after Shot of Adrenaline.”
Kayl: “Dexter’s a crafty, conniving son of a bitch, but he can get the job
done. And if he starts getting on a roll again, who knows what it’ll take to
stop him this time.”
Dexter steps over Ryan and climbs out of the ring, leaving Jennifer Cassidy to
tend to her as she starts to stir. Dexter starts heading up the ramp with
Wendell scurrying after him, the two of them conversing amidst the boos as
Dexter looks proud of what he’s done tonight.
Sharper:
“Wait a minute…we have a situation in front of the Stadium!”
We
abruptly cut to the front of Wembley Stadium where Lexy Chapel is now being
surrounded by security and notable Dean Black is present.
Chapel:
“What do you mean? I’m outside! I’m outside!”
Black:
“Lexy…you’re on private property.”
Chapel:
“Nuh-uh! Prove it!”
Ravyn:
“Brilliant argument.”
Black:
“Let’s just get her off and-“
Just
then, we see four men, dressed in ski masks, fatigues, and brandishing police
batons run out of the building and over to Chapel. Before Chapel can even
react, one nails Chapel from behind. Ravyn then jumps up and runs over. Black
turns to them.
Black:
“Hey! HEY!”
Ravyn
runs over and just then, they group turns to her. Ravyn then ducks one, trying
to then grab another before they just swarm her and then just grab her and pull
her over to the wall. They then start to attack Ravyn.
Sharper:
“What the hell is this? They’re assaulting Ravyn Taylor! And Lexy Chapel!”
Kayl:
“Who is they?”
The
four individuals continue to assault Ravyn before one uses the baton and starts
to choke Ravyn a bit before pushing her down. They then pull away and seem to
motion to each other before running back into the stadium. Dean Black is
checking on Lexy, looking down, clearly disappointed about something before
getting up and running over to Ravyn. We then cut away.
Glory
Braddock vs. Shaun Cruze vs. Kemal Yilmaz vs. Amelia Nevado
Number
One Contendership to the SCW World Championship
The
bell sounds and Jason Phillips stands in the ring.
Phillips:
“The following contest is scheduled for onefall with a thirty minute time limit
and is a fatal four way for the number one contendership for the SCW World
Championship!”
The
first chords of "Immortal" by Ozzy Osbourne begins to play over the
PA system...
Phillips: “First, from London, England, she is The British Bombshell, Glory
Braddock!”
Glory Braddock steps out onto the stage, wearing her ring gear consisting of
purple spandex pants, boots, and a purple top. She really does look like a
million bucks and grins from ear to ear, gazing out at the crowd for a moment
before making her way down the entrance ramp.
I come alive at the second of midnight
So I can fly when the world is asleep
You scream and howl as I'm taking the first bite
Blood on my tongue tastes of eternity
People will come and go
Some stories never told
They bury me down below
But I'll never die
'Cause I'm immortal
Yes, immortal
The British Bombshell steps up the steel steps and then onto the ring apron.
She poses momentarily on the apron, allowing people to take snapshots before
stepping through the ropes and into the ring. Once in the ring Glory
heads to the center of the ring and poses once more. Then the music dies down
slowly...
Sharper:
“Glory Braddock wanted something big in her hometown here in London, England.
And this is almost as big as it can get.”
Kayl:
“Win and you get another shot. You get a shot at the World Title. After she got
so close against Cid Turner last fall. And in the process, she could get some
bragging rights. Three Brits and a Turk in this match.”
Sharper:
“Europe extremely well-represented!”
“Wasteland”
by Pentagram, aka Mezarkabul, plays over the sound system as Kemal, wearing the
black and red venom mask comes through the curtain, holding up his Turkey flag,
wearing Turkey flame flag shorts with The European Fiery Nation logo attached
to his shorts, wearing MMA gloves and wrestling boots with Ginny Raab behind
him. He gets many boos as he walks to the ring, ignoring the fans.
Phillips: “From Istanbul, Turkey, accompanied by Ginny Raab, he is The Turkish
Acid, Kemal Yilmaz!”
He jumps up to the ring and gets underneath the ropes before holding them open
for Ginny to get in, and he raises his fist in the air, looking at the crowd
with Ginny applauding Kemal before he puts himself in a corner. He holds the
ropes open again for Ginny to leave the ring before turning to the opposite end
of the corner of looking at Glory, trying to get her to start the match right
now. Glory just ignores him as the official, Steve Hollinsworth, gets in
between them, forcing Kemal back.
Sharper:
“Kemal Yilmaz has wanted Glory Braddock in an ultimate submission for some time
now.”
Knots:
“He wants to start now!”
Sharper:
“Glory not taking the bait. Kemal almost needing to prove himself. Can he
tonight?”
Kayl:
“And just imagine if he wins, and Gavin wins later…Kemal and the EFN happy to
work with Gavin to benefit themselves.”
Knots:
“Not just with Gavin!”
The
opening rifts to ‘You know my name’ kicks in over the PA system, the arena all
jumping to their feet in unison as a ‘Cruze’ chant starts to roll around the
arena. After a few moment, the curtain parts, and Shaun Cruze steps through it,
and onto the stage
Phillips: “Next, currently on his way to the ring, hailing from Los Angeles,
California, he is the Impact Player, Shaun Cruze!”
Shaun steps forwards and to the top of the ramp, looking out over his adoring
fans, lifting his hands and applauding them as he also nods his gratitude. With
a final smile, he starts to walk down to the ring, high fiving with the fans at
ringside, and shaking hands. He stands smirking next to a fan who holds a
banner saying ‘Come back Shaun’ before then running and sliding under the
bottom rope. He walks to the middle of the ring, and holds out his arms, the
noise level absolutely off the chart. He then walks to his corner, and turns,
waiting for the start of the match.
Sharper:
“Shaun Cruze-“
Knots:
“Booooooo!”
Sharper:
“Would you stop?”
Knots:
“No! He had a clear way to the top. Had to play his games. Wasting his talents,
his stardom, and for what? He wants to compete. So did Frank Delatosso. Just he
wanted to control the terms!”
“Victorious”
by Skillet begins playing as the lights dim a bit. Slowly, Amelia Nevado makes
her way onto the stage, putting herself front and center as she folds her hands
in front of her, looking like a proper young lady as she looks somewhat
solemnly down towards the ring.
Phillips:
“And finally, from Oxford, England, she is Amelia Nevado!”
After a
moment of this, Amelia slowly unfolds her hands before she proceeds to head
down to the ring, her look growing more determined and battle-ready the closer
she gets. Once she reaches ringside, Amelia climbs the ring steps onto the
apron, wiping her feet before stepping through the ropes. As the song goes into
the chorus, Amelia gives a victorious fist pump to the delight of the fans as
she takes a moment to soak in the lyrics before removing her robe and setting
it in her corner. She begins a light warm-up in the corner as her music fades
out.
Sharper:
“And this is what we have found out was added after Breakdown. Delatosso
overriding CHBK and adding Amelia Nevado to this match.”
Knots:
“Enter Amelia. Come on Amelia. Prove you can do it. Bounce back and big!”
The
bell sounds as we then see Kemal Yilmaz go right for Glory Braddock. Amelia
then goes for Cruze and takes him down with a double leg takedown. She
immediately moves into a pin.
1!
Cruze
kicks out as Yilmaz tackles Glory into the corner. He rears back and shoulders
her once and then again as Cruze and Nevado get up and Nevado grabs Cruze’s arm
and wrenches it. She then moves into a side headlock. She pulls back as Cruze
then pulls her into the ropes. Kemal tries for a third shoulder thrust, but
Glory grabs him by the head and tries to lock in front face lock. She takes him
down and starts to move into a guillotine choke position. Yilmaz grabs at the
ropes and tries to move through the ropes. Glory holds on as Cruze shoulders
Nevado down off the rebound. Yilmaz moves through the ropes and then pulls
Glory out and then turn and spins her around, slamming her into the barricade.
The crowd ohs. Cruze grabs Amelia and pulls her up, but Amelia hits a fireman’s
carry takeover and locks an armbar on. Cruze starts to get up.
Sharper:
“Yilmaz and Braddock grappling on the floor and Yilmaz slamming Glory into the
barricade.”
Kayl:
“You don’t want to let Braddock or Nevado for that match get a hold on. They’re
as good as anyone.”
Knots:
“And Braddock looking to humiliate Yilmaz right off the bat. Yilmaz just turned
that around in a big way.”
Cruze
gets up and Nevado wrenches the arm again. She jerks on it and then Cruze
reaches up and ducks under and around and into a hammerlock. Nevado reaches up
and then down before then reaching up and jumping up and countering with a
snapmare. Cruze rolls through and gets up and Yilmaz enters the ring and runs
at Cruze, drilling him with a dropkick. Cruze goes through the ropes to the
floor. Yilmaz gets up and turns to Nevado who looks at him. The two circle a
bit before locking up in the middle of the ring.
Sharper:
“Yilmaz sending Cruze to the floor. Now Yilmaz and Nevado, both who feel
overlooked and that they deserve better, now to go at it.”
Knots:
“And you have a problem with Delatosso. He sees something in both!”
They
push back on one another and Yilmaz knees Nevado in the ribs. He then hits a
hip throw, taking her down. He leans down into a side headlock.
1!
Nevado
rolls her shoulder up as Yilmaz holds on. They both get up and Nevado elbows
Yilmaz in the ribs once and then again before pulling him back into the ropes
and before she can fire him off, Braddock grabs him by the legs and pulls him
down under the bottom rope to the floor. She then jumps up and hits a standing
frankensteiner on the floor. The crowd roars. Nevado looks at them and then
around before running across the ring, but Cruze jumps up and forearms her in
the back. Nevado staggers forward as Cruze slides in and runs over and pulls
her down with a school boy.
1!
2!
Nevado
kicks out. Braddock slides in and Cruze gets up and Braddock runs over and
forearms him in the jaw once and then again and again. She goes to whip him
into the ropes, but Cruze spins through and sends her in. She bounces off and
jumps up for a crossbody, but Cruze catches her and hits a ribbreaker. He
throws her down.
Sharper:
“Braddock shut down again. Cruze with the power advantage in this one. Showing
it there.”
Kayl:
“But here comes Amelia.”
Cruze
gets up and immediately is cuffed by an Amelia Nevado European uppercut. Cruze
staggers and Amelia hits a second one. She then grabs him and jumps up and hits
a facebuster. Cruze rolls over. Amelia gets up as Braddock stirs and Amelia
grabs her and hits a snap suplex. She floats over for the pin.
1!
2!
Braddock
kicks out. Amelia rolls off and Kemal enters the ring and runs at her and hits
a jumping back elbow. Amelia hits the mat. Yilmaz turns and then sees Glory and
boots her in the face. She falls through the ropes to the floor before Yilmaz
goes to Cruze and nails him with a couple of hard right hands against the
ropes. Yilmaz then pulls him out and hits a snap suplex of his own. He then
gets up and Braddock springboards to the top rope and dives off with a flying
clothesline, knocking Yilmaz down.
Kayl:
“And Braddock taking flight here in London!”
Sharper:
“Off the top rope! Springboard and Braddock using her agility there with the
clothesline.”
Knots:
“Just give him that technical bout. Not the high-flying!”
Braddock
then grabs Yilmaz, dragging him up and runs into the ropes. She bounces off and
hits a running flipping neckbreaker. She goes for the pin.
1!
2!

the corner. He turns and runs after and hits a jumping crescent kick into the
corner. Amelia collapses. Cruze turns around and hits the ropes, clotheslining
Yilmaz down. He then spins around and Braddock hits a jawbreaker. Cruze
staggers and Braddock runs past him and then jumps up and hits a running
bulldog. Braddock turns and exits to the apron. She climbs up to the top rope and
looks down and hits a London Plunge. The crowd erupts.
Sharper:
“London Plunge in London!”
Knots:
“Pfft. Playing to the crowd…how pathetic!”
Sharper:
“And it may win her the match!”
Braddock
hooks the leg.
1!
2!
Amelia
breaks it up. Braddock rolls over as Amelia gets up. Yilmaz stirs as Cruze
rolls out of the way. Amelia grabs Braddock and hits a European uppercut and
then another before then going to whip her into the ropes. Braddock spins
through and sends Amelia in, but Yilmaz hoists her up and hits a spinebuster.
He rolls over and turns and lunges at Braddock who takes him down with a
crossface attempt! The crowd erupts. Yilmaz fights as Braddock tries to get the
hold in. She does and Yilmaz yells out as Braddock keeps pulling on the arm.
The official checks on Yilmaz as he shakes his head no. Braddock keeps pulling
back and just then Cruze breaks it up. The crowd ohs.
Sharper:
“Braddock nearly had Yilmaz again! Nearly had him tap! There’s your technical
showcase.”
Knots:
“He wasn’t ready! He wasn’t ready!”
Kayl:
“He engaged Jon!”
Braddock
rolls over and stirs as Yilmaz rolls over, holding his arm. Cruze then grabs
then legs of Braddock and starts to go for the Shaunshooter. Braddock fights it
off and tries to get free. She gets to the ropes and kicks at him. Cruze lets
go and then kicks Braddock in the side. Braddock rolls over to the apron in
pain. She rolls to the floor, holding her side. Cruze then turns as Yilmaz get

sidesteps. Amelia then dives through the ropes and hits a tope suicida on Glory
Braddock, taking her down.
Sharper:
“Right in front of us! Nevado taking Braddock!”
Knots:
“I think that was her target all along!”
Kayl:
“Long history between Nevado and Braddock. And Nevado has never beaten Braddock
in a singles match. That was reminded to her in December.”
Knots:
“And it’s motivating her now!”
Cruze
turns and then grabs Yilmaz. He pulls him back up, but Yilmaz suddenly punches
him in the stomach and then bends him over before hoisting him up and hitting a
snap high-angle sitout powerbomb!
1!
2!
Cruze
kicks out just in time. He rolls over and Yilmaz moves quickly into the Turkish
Acid Cross. He pulls back on Cruze as the crowd boos. Cruze yells out as Yilmaz
pulls back on the head and neck and hyper-extends the arm. Amelia looks up from
the floor and rolls in. Yilmaz keeps pulling back before Amelia runs over and
kicks Yilmaz in the side. Yilmaz lets go and then Amelia grabs his arms and
pulls them back before flipping forward into a cattle mutilation! The crowd
roars.
Sharper:
“Double underhook chickenwing. Yilmaz in trouble again!”
Knots:
“And now Amelia trying to get him to tap. Anything Glory can do, she can do
better!”
Yilmaz
yells in pain as Amelia keeps her bridge on. Cruze rolls over and winces as
Yilmaz looks around and tries to see how he can counter. Amelia keeps the
bridge on as the official check Yilmaz. Cruze then gets up and runs to the
ropes, jumping to the middle rope and hitting a springboard moonsault onto
Amelia and Yilmaz, breaking the hold. The crowd ohs. Cruze rolls over and looks
around. Amelia rolls over as Yilmaz rolls to the ropes. Amelia gets up and
Cruze then grabs her and hits a DDT. Cruze goes for the pin.
1!
2!
Amelia
kicks out. Cruze rolls over and gets up as Glory climbs to the top rope and
dives off and hits the Prankster’s Paradise on Cruze!
Sharper:
“Glory back in! Off the top! Prankster’s Paradise and Cruze taken down!”
Knots:
“You have to just keep going. Four people in this and every opportunity is an
opportunity for an attack.”
Kayl:
“Saw it earlier in the opening match tonight. And we’re seeing it here.”
Glory
gets up and sees Amelia getting up and then steps up and kicks her in the ribs.
Braddock then hits the Beautiful Insanity. Yilmaz then gets up and Glory
watches him. She then calls him in and goes for a Fujiwara armbar takedown, but
Yilmaz blocks it and rolls forward and then pushes back on Braddock with his
feet. She falls back and turns and gets up and lunges at Yilmaz and Yilmaz
catches her and locks in a rear naked choke. He tries to take her down to the
mat. Yilmaz keeps hooking her right side with his leg, but Braddock fights. She
keeps fighting before Cruze then suddenly hits a superkick to Braddock. The
impact knocking Braddock back and Yilmaz to fall back too. He keeps the hold on
as he smiles. Cruze staggers and then sees this before running over and
stomping him in the head once and then again and again and again. Yilmaz then
lets go.
Sharper:
“Cruze got Braddock. That dimmed her lights, but Yilmaz then had the choke on.”
Kayl:
“And Cruze quickly made sure that wasn’t going to end up costing him the match.
Braddock is hurt.”
Yilmaz
rolls over and Cruze turns and grabs Braddock and pulls her up before hitting a
sidewalk slam. He pulls back on the legs.
1!
2!
Amelia
breaks it up. He rolls over and Amelia then waits. He gets up and Amelia steps
up and drills him with a vicious European uppercut. Cruze falls through the
ropes to the apron. Amelia then sees Braddock and pulls her up as Yilmaz crawls
to the corner. He starts to climb up and Amelia watches Braddock before looking
down and then spinning her around and then jumping up and hitting the Lights
Out!
Sharper:
“Amelia pulling out a move from her wife’s moveset!”
Kayl:
“You could even see her thinking about it. A bit of hesitation, but still got
it!”
Amelia
then covers Braddock. Yilmaz gets to the top rope. Cruze then climbs up and
grabs Yilmaz and hoists him up for a sidewalk slam.
1!
2!
Cruze
dives off and breaks up the pin with a top rope sidewalk slam onto Amelia and
Braddock. The crowd erupts. All four are down as the crowd cheers.
Sharper:
“Cruze off the top! The sidewalk slam. Yilmaz used as a weapon to break up the
fall! And this match continues!”
Knots:
“And Amelia is just going to get that much more frustrated! She had Glory! She
had her!”
Kayl:
“And she forgot about Cruze and Yilmaz!”
Cruze
looks around and starts to stir. Yilmaz turns, holding his back. Amelia rolls
away as Cruze starts to get up. He turns and grabs Glory. Cruze then hooks her
up for a vertical suplex only to throw her up and drop her back first on his
knee. Glory grimaces in pain. Cruze turns and moves to the legs and then steps
through and locks in the Shaunshooter. The crowd roars. Glory yells out in pain
as Cruze keeps the hold on. Yilmaz and Nevado stir as Cruze keeps the hold on,
gritting his teeth. Glory tries to move to the ropes, but stops, realizing rope
breaks don’t matter. She looks around, grabbing at the legs of Cruze before
Yilmaz runs over and jumps up and boots Cruze in the back of the head. Cruze
lets go and drops to the mat. Yilmaz then backs up and Nevado grabs him and
locks in the Blight Choke!
Sharper:
“Amelia Nevado! She has the Blight Choke locked in on Kemal Yilmaz! Yilmaz was
focused on Cruze!”
Knots:
“She has it in deep!”
Sharper:
“Pulling him back!”
Nevado
gets Yilmaz back to the mat. Yilmaz tries to get free, grabbing at her arm, but
Nevado just keeps the hold on. Yilmaz’s arm goes limp as Amelia keeps pulling
back. Glory then fights up to her feet and turns and runs over and stomps at
Amelia. Amelia however refuses to let go, holding on for dear life. Glory
stomps her again as the official checks on Yilmaz. They then call for the bell.
The crowd roars. The bell sounds.
Sharper:
“Yilmaz is out!”
Kayl:
“Amelia was not going to let go for any reason!”
Phillips:
“Here is your winner, via submission, Amelia Nevado!”
Amelia
finally lets go as Glory drops down to her knees. Amelia rolls over, wincing,
holding her side where Glory was stomping her. Glory then leans back to the
ropes and looks at Amelia as Cruze starts to stir. Amelia then starts to get up
and looks at Glory before the official raises Amelia’s arm. Amelia looks right
at Glory as Glory looks at her. Cruze starts to glance over as Amelia has a
slight smile come over her face.
Sharper:
“Amelia Nevado with a huge win here in London, England!”
Knots:
“Look at that smile. She’s actually got a smile!”
Amelia
starts to let the wave of satisfaction come over her as the scene cuts away.
Backstage,
we see Syren talking to Dean Black and CHBK in her locker room.
Syren:
“I’m sorry…but they get assaulted and all you can say is sorry, Dean? You were
there.”
Black:
“I’m sorry. I don’t know when did it.”
Syren:
“I have an idea. And I know you do too, Alex.”
CHBK:
“I know. But right now, Alexis and Lexy are in the hospital. They were taken by
ambulance to be checked over.”
Syren:
“You better believe I’m going to kick his ass.”
CHBK:
“Just wanted to update you personally.”
Syren:
“Thanks.”
CHBK
turns to Dean. Dean turns and leaves as CHBK does too. Syren turns to the SCW
World Championship sitting on the bench next to her before we cut to the ring.
The
Glimmer Sisters vs. Xander Valentine & Selena Frost
SCW
World Tag Team Championship
If
Frost or Valentine get disqualified or counted out, the Glimmer Sisters win the
World Tag Team Championship
Phillips:
“The following contest is scheduled for onefall with a thirty minute time limit
and is for the SCW World Tag Team Championship!”
The SCW
World Tag Team Championship logo comes across the screen. All the lights in the
arena suddenly cut out, leaving the fans gasping and roaring in surprise. After
a moment, blue lighting overtakes the arena, almost making it look like the
entire place is underwater. On the stage, we can see what looks like water raining
down right in front of the entryway, a silhouette of a woman visible behind it
as she's flipping her hair and looks to be getting “dressed” for battle.
“Tongue Twister” then hits and after a few seconds, we see Gina Glimmer (we
assume) walk through the water, motioning as though she were parting a curtain,
sashaying in a way that draws all eyes to her hips as she grins knowing full
well what she's doing. Once she's fully visible she flaps her arms at her sides
almost like she's flying, and as she does we see a second pair of arms flapping
in the opposite motion appear from behind her, almost making her look like one
of those multi-armed Hindu gods. After a few flaps she leans to one side as we
see her twin Gia Glimmer (again, we assume) suddenly appear from behind her and
lean the opposite way, perfectly mirroring one another. They join hands and
look as though they're about to break into a ballroom dance, but Gina simply
uses this to flip Gia over her back, and the moment she lands on her feet in
time with the bass dropping the lighting immediately changes to a vibrant
display of pinks and yellows. At this, the two begin to dance their way down to
the ring, again a perfect mirror of one another as their sensual motions
hypnotize the audience.
Phillips:
“First, the challengers, from Cirque du Sins, they are the team of Gia and Gina
Glimmer, they are the Glimmer Sisters!”
The
mirror routine breaks at a few points when they stop dancing to briefly
interact with fans, Gina scoffing at some guy not worth her time in the front
row desperately trying to get her number while Gia teases potentially flashing
her side of the crowd only to stick her tongue out and tell them to “blame SCW”
for the let down. Once they reach ringside they dance their way over to the
hard cam side of the ring before pulling themselves onto the apron facing away
from each other, where they press their butts together and slowly rise as they
stick their tongues out and suggestively lick each finger, drawing excited
cheers from all interested parties that clash with the boos they're otherwise
getting from those that either aren't interested in them or see through the
act. Once they're both fully upright, they mirror one another again as they
lean back against the ropes, pushing out their chests for the fans' enjoyment
before hooking their arms around the top rope and backflipping into the ring in
sync. Once they're back in the ring the lighting returns to the underwater hues
as they dance around the ring one more time, mirroring one another again,
before meeting in the middle of the ring as a spotlight shines down on them.
They sensually embrace, each lifting a leg up in a way that makes it seem like
they're trying to wrap it around the other's body as they flip their hair
before motioning for the camera to get a close-up of them as they grin and wink
to the fans at home. The lights then completely cut out again for a brief
moment before coming back on as normal, the Glimmer Sisters separating and
moving to their corner as they wait for the bell with a hungry look in their
eyes.
Sharper:
“A huge rematch here. Two months ago at A Taste of Things to Come, the Glimmer
Sisters nearly defeated Selena and Xander. Valentine and Frost were able to
find a way to win. Selena even stopping the Asspocalypse.”
Knots:
“Selena Frost, the Jesus of our time!”
Sharper:
“But tonight, Xander and Selena continue to be at odds. There’s a lot looming
over this.”
Kayl:
“And we’ve just seen Selena increasingly a loose cannon, increasingly erratic
in all of this.”
A long
church bell rings, once- twice- a third time as the crowd explodes. The lights
go out as Xander’s voice echoes out over the sound system, increasing the
intensity of the crowd’s roar.
“Never
send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.”
The few
opening keystrokes of “Soul on Fire” by Soul on Fire chimed. A lull before the
storm as the crowd seems to calm for only a moment before Delila Paz’s blues
dominate the audio.
“Some
are born to kill
Others
are born to run
Some
need to keep on takin'
Till
you ain't got none”
A
singular light appears before the curtains, on the other side is the outline of
a large man. On the screen, we’re shown Xander Valentine holding onto the bars
of a prison cell. He starts to bend the bars before the scene blurs.
“But
baby, I wasn't built to die
Lay
down and be crucified
Nah, no
matter how hard they try
To push
me down
Still I
rise”
“Soul
on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)
Soul on
Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)”
The
curtain drops to reveal Xander, holding the SCW World Tag Team Championship
belt. A quick salvo of pyros explodes in front of him before he steps through
the smoke with an intense look on his face. He goes from one side of the stage
to the next, yelling out to the crowd and throwing up his arms. He then stops
at the top of the ramp and throws his arm up into the air. He starts
down the ramp, Xander’s gaze affixed on the ring.
Phillips:
“Their opponents, first, fighting out of Fort Collins, Colorado… from
Rochester, New York… he is one half of the SCW World Tag Team Champions, the
Paragon of Violence, the Executioner…. Xander Valentine!”
Suffocate
me until I am blue
To

Xander
leaps up onto the apron in a single bound. Xander climbs up over the top rope
and marches straight to the far side of the ring. He throws his arms up again,
getting a massive pop. He goes to the opposite side and repeats to garner the
same response. He hops down from the rope, and jogs into place, waiting for the
bell. He hands off the SCW World Tag Team Championship to the official,
Jennifer Cassidy.
Sharper:
“Xander Valentine has tried to be a stabilizing force for Selena. In their
previous matches, we’ve seen him even catch her when Selena takes risks that
just she doesn’t need to.”
Kayl:
“He also agreed to the stipulation. If Xander or Selena get dq’ed or counted
out, that last bit added by CHBK, Glimmers are the champion. Hoping that Selena
won’t just disqualify herself as she did against Hollywood.”
Knots:
“Well she felt Hollywood was beneath them!”
Sharper:
“And Hollywood now has a victory over the tag team champions! And got the
victor’s purse too!”
BELIEVE
IT... OR NOT!
"Thank You for Hating Me!" by Citizen Soldier plays throughout
the arena, the SCW Universe deafening the song with their boos. The lights
shift to dark purple and blue, filling the arena as snow is seen “falling”
along the electronic floor and screens as, out from the back, walks the Snow
Queen, Selena Frost, taking in the crowd of the SCW Universe with a smirk. The
SCW World Tag Team Championship is around her waist.
Phillips:
“And his partner, from Nome, Alaska by way of Manhattan, New York, she is the
other half of the SCW World Tag Team Champions, the Snow Queen, Selena Frost!”
Slowly, Selena shifts her head, her sapphire eyes locked towards the ring as
she turns to her side and lifts her front hand gracefully, extending it
towards the ring, palm upward. With a lift of her front foot, she suddenly
slams it down into the ground, causing a crack like ice to form and sprint down
the ramp and towards the ring!
Lowering her arm, the Blue-Eyed Devil walks down the ramp, her steps
leaving footprints in the “snow” under her feet. Reaching the ring, Selena goes
up the steps and under the ropes to enter it. Once inside and in the center of
the ring, she stands still, confident and powerful, as the lights form to
make a massive blue and black snowflake under her and the purple and blue
lights. Raising her hand back up, towards the audience, once again palm
upright, a wicked smirk graces her lips. With a slam of her foot, Selena
causes the snowflake at her feet to “crack” as the rampway did, the shards of
ice streaking out to all four corners of the ring to shoot out
purple streaks of light from the turnbuckle the lights return to
normal. She then looks around before glaring at Xander and then taking off her
World Tag Team Championship. She turns around and hands it to Cassidy. Cassidy
takes it and Selena then gets in her face, warning her.
Sharper:
“And now Frost is berating Jennifer Cassidy.”
Kayl:
“She’s had Aaron Demitra referring so many of her previous matches. Either way,
if what we think is right, there’s no shame for her anyways. She used Deanna’s
contract…”
Knots:
“Hey! We don’t know for sure!”
Kayl:
“Come on Jon…”
Just
then, before Cassidy can hand it off, we see Gia and Gina Glimmer run over and
nails Selena from behind. This gets a massive pop from the crowd. Xander then
steps forward and swings at Gia (we assume). Gia ducks and Gina (we assume)
cartwheels out of the way. Xander turns around and Gina turns and jumps up and
Xander catches her and turns and places her on the top rope and pushes her
back. Gina backflips down to the floor, landing on her feet as we see Xander
turn and Gia hits a dropkick. The bell sounds as Selena starts to get up. Gia
hits a second dropkick and Xander falls back to the ropes. Gia gets up and
Selena grabs her by the hair and throws her down. She then dives onto Gia and
hammers away on her.
Sharper:
“And Frost has lost it already! Throwing down Gia! This match has started!”
Kayl:
“And with Xander and that’s Gia, right. Yeah, Gia, are the legal competitors!”
Sharper:
“And Selena is hammering away on Gia Glimmer!”
Gia
covers up as Cassidy starts her count.
1!
2!
3!
4!
Xander
pulls Selena off by the hair and jerks her up to her feet. Selena then turns
and looks at Xander, stepping up and snapping at him.
Sharper:
“And Xander pulling Selena off. We thought the threat of losing the titles may
control her.”
Kayl:
“What’s there to control? If she did what we think she did! She’s already
crossed so many lines.”
Knots:
“Come on. Hit him! Hit him!”
Gia
then tags in Gina as Selena turns and Xander turns back only for Gina to enter
and jump up into the arms of Gia who swings her around, causing Gina’s feet to
catch Xander in the jaw with a spin kick. The crowd ohs. Xander goes down. Gina
dives on him for the pin.
1!
2!
Xander
pushes her off. Gina rolls off and quickly scrambles back to her feet and
Xander gets up to a knee. Gina hits a shoot kick to the chest and then another
and Xander blocks a third with his arm. Gina then goes for a spinning back
kick, but Xander catches it. He then pushes it down before then stepping
forward and clotheslining Gina down.
Sharper:
“And Xander just muscling through the strikes of Gina Glimmer.”
Kayl:
“The champions may not be anywhere close to the same page, but Xander’s not
going to make this easy and it’s clear that Selena wants to hurt the Glimmers.”
Knots:
“Just she needs to keep in mind the rule. She gets DQ’ed and the reign is
over.”
Sharper:
“And I would like to think that would be a fate she wouldn’t want. To lose the
titles back to the Glimmers by DQ!”
Gina
rolls over and starts to get up and Xander walks over and knees her in the
ribs. He then whips her into the ropes. Gina bounces off and Xander goes for a
clothesline. Gina ducks and then handsprings into the ropes. She then bounces
back, but Xander grabs her and presses her over his head. The crowd erupts and
Xander throws her up and Gina lands chest first down onto the mat. She rolls
over in pain and starts to get up and Xander runs over and clotheslines her
over the top rope to the floor. Xander then backs up as Cassidy warns him. She
turns then back to the ropes to start her count, but the crowd erupts into boos
as Selena drops down and grabs Gina. She then nails her with repeated hard
right hands, almost thrashing Gina before throwing her down. Gina rolls over in
pain. Cassidy moves over to reprimand Selena as Xander glares at her, but then
we see Gia grab Gina and pull her around the ringpost. Xander turns and sees
this and then turns back to the ropes and reaches through. We notice at this
point, the camera angle changes, and one of the Glimmers has seemingly
disappeared, rolling under the ring. Xander grabs the other Glimmer, who
quickly grabs the ropes and hits a kick to the head. Xander staggers back. That
Glimmer, believed to be the fresher Gia, gets up to her feet.
Sharper:
“And in the chaos, the Glimmers swap.”
Knots:
“I saw nothing. There’s only one there.”
Kayl:
“Where’s the other one, Jon?”
Knots:
“Who cares!”
Xander
recovers and Gia springboards to the top rope and hits a spinning heel kick.
She then smirks before turning to Selena.
Gia:
“Even we can defy gravity!”
Gia
turns as Selena enters the ring. Cassidy stops her as Gia then runs over and
steps on Xander’s groin. Xander pushes her off. Gia turns and scrambles out of
the ring as Xander gets up to his feet. The crowd roars.
Sharper:
“And the Glimmers trying to set off both!”
Knots:
“Clearly trying to make Xander be just as erratic and violent as he’s ever
been.”
Sharper:
“Willing to risk themselves in case Xander loses it!”
Xander
gets up and looks at Gia and now Gina who is back out from under the ring. Gia
climbs onto the apron and then slowly gets in as Xander backs up and just then,
Selena tags herself in. Xander glances back as Selena runs over and runs at
Gia. Gia falls back, blind tagging Gina. Selena nails Gia with a hard right and
then another and another before Gina enters and throws Selena back. Selena
rolls through and gets up and Gina hits a front kick to the face. Selena falls
over. She gets back up and then we see Gina turn as Gia cartwheels into her and
she hoists her up and throws her through to continue the cartwheel, causing
Gia’s feet to catch Selena in the face. Gia turns as Gina goes for the pin.
1!
2!
Selena
kicks out. Gia exits the ring as Selena rolls over. She grabs her face annoyed
and turns as Gina nails her with a hard right.
Sharper:
“And the Glimmers know they are the same page. They always have been and right
now, they also know they have something under Selena and Xander.”
Kayl:
“And this is dangerous. They’re almost goading them to turn this into a looser
match. Force the referee to make a decision.”
Gina
then grabs Selena and spins her into the ropes. Selena bounces off and Gina
hits a Japanese arm drag. Selena rolls through. Gina turns and runs at her, but
Selena sidesteps and sends her in. Gina hits the ropes, but Selena then rushes
her and just forearms her in the side of the head. The crowd ohs. Gina staggers
and Selena snapmares her over and then kicks her hard in the back. Gina
grimaces and Selena turns and hits a kick to the face. She then drives the
point of her elbow into the throat of Gina and goes for the pin.
1!
2!
Gina
kicks out. Selena turns and grabs Gina by the hair. She drags her up and runs
her into the neutral corner. Cassidy warns Selena, but Selena ignores her and
chops Gina in the chest. The crowd woos. She chops her again. More woos. She
then chops Gina in the throat. Gina falls to a knee, coughing. Cassidy again
warns Selena.
Sharper:
“And a chop to the throat!”
Knots:
“That’s one way to have them choke!”
Sharper:
“And Selena ignoring Jennifer Cassidy. Selena Frost has just gone to another
level in this attitude driving her. To the World Title. To whatever she views
as respect.”
Selena
then turns and whips Gina across the ring. Selena runs after and clotheslines
her in the corner. She turns and grabs Gina and drags her out and hits a
bulldog. She rolls her over for the pin.
1!
2!
Gina
kicks out. Selena looks up and then grabs her and moves her to the ropes. She
then starts to choke her.
1!
2!
3!
4!
Selena
steps off. She then turns and walks around the ring. The crowd boos her as
Selena looks up. She ignores the London crowd before turning back and running
at the ropes. She slides under the bottom rope. She then nails Gina with a hard
right, but then turns as Gia runs over and hits a flip dive off the apron. The
crowd roars. Cassidy then drops down to the floor and gets between Gia and
Selena. Selena turns, holding her jaw, rolling over. Gia smirks as she walks
around. Xander looks on. Gia returns to her corner as Selena gets up and turns
to Cassidy and shoves her.
Selena:
“The hell was that?! Control the match!”
Cassidy:
“I told her to get back!”
Selena
turns and pulls herself onto the apron only for Gina to then run along the
ropes and hits a spinning heel kick, catching Selena in the side of the head.
Selena drops to the apron. Gina turns and crawls over and tags in Gia. Gia
enters and then grabs Selena, pulling her through the ropes. She keeps her up,
hanging on the middle rope before hitting a splits into a leg drop, driving her into the mat.
Sharper:
“Selena upset by Gia sneak attack. She’s going to be unhappy here!”
Kayl:
“Splits to the back of the head. And look at Gia!”
Knots:
“Kids! Don’t look at Gia!”
Gia
keeps the splits on Selena, bouncing up and down a bit as the crowd roars.
Selena pushes away as Gia rolls over. Selena gets up and turns around and Gia
hits a straight kick to the ribs and then one to the chest. Selena falls to the
ropes. Gia then moves her into the Glimmer corner. Gia tags in Gina and Gina
enters and then two look at Selena before then just kicking away at her as the
crowd erupts in cheers. Selena drops down to a seated position.
1!
2!
3!
4!
Gia and
Gina walk out and pose as the crowd cheers.
Sharper:
“And Gia and Gina just pummelling Selena, getting a roar of approval from the
crowd.”
Kayl:
“They know how to get the crowd behind them.”
Knots:
“Just turn around!”
Gia and
Gina turn and then run at Selena and hit a duelling hip check in the corner.
The crowd ohs. Selena falls over and Gina, we assume, although can’t be sure,
grabs Selena and drags her out. She goes for the pin.
1!
2!
Selena
kicks out as Xander pulls Gina off. Gina looks up at Xander. Xander exits to
the apron. Selena rolls over as Gina then turns back to her and grabs her and
pulls her up into the Glimmer corner. Gina tags in Gia. Gia enters and they hit
a double snapmare on Selena. They then hit double dropkicks. Gia goes for the
pin. Gina then sits on top of her.
1!
2!
Xander
enters shoves Gina off as Selena kicks out. Xander backs up again. Gia and Gina
smirk before they talk to one another and then Gina exits with Cassidy’s
urging. Gia turns to Selena and grabs her, but Selena reaches up and digs her
fingers into the eyes of Gia. She yells out and Selena rakes the eyes. Gia
staggers back and Selena grabs her and pulls her back in before pulling her
into a spinning crescent kick. Selena then falls back to the ropes. Xander tags
in. Selena glares at him.
Sharper:
“Selena violently going for the eyes! But the kick takes down Gia. Now Xander
back in.”
Knots:
“I don’t think she wanted him back in!”
Gia
stirs and Xander walks over and boots her in the face. Gia goes down. Gia rolls
over and Xander grabs her and pulls her up and whips her into the ropes. Gia
bounces off and Xander launches her with a huge back body drop. Gia hits the
mat and rolls over and Xander hits a clothesline. Gina then enters and runs at
Xander and nails him from behind, clubbing him once and then again before
dropping down. She then goes to reach between his legs, but Xander, sensing
this, grabs her arm. Gina looks up as Xander steps over her arm and then pulls
her up and into a bearhug. He then hoists her up and swings her around side to
side before dropping her with a bearhug slam.
Sharper:
“And Xander stopping Gina Glimmer-“
Kayl:
“They’re clearly trying to make him uncomfortable, but Xander caught on and
planted her!”
Xander
gets up as Gia then runs over and hits an enziguri kick. Xander falls to a
knee. Gia then grabs his head and jumps up for a DDT, but Xander resists and
then starts to lift her up and then muscles her up onto his shoulder. He then
hits a standing death valley driver. Gia rolls over in pain. Xander then runs
into the ropes, but Selena tags herself in. Xander runs over and hits a running
elbow drop. He turns as Selena grabs Gina and pulls her up before spinning her
into the corner, driving her shoulder first into the ringpost. Gina falls to
the floor.
Sharper:
“Selena’s back in. Gina into the ringpost!”
Knots:
“See ya!”
Sharper:
“And now over to Gia. Xander’s just looking at her. Selena has something in
mind!”
Selena
then grabs Gia and pulls her up before placing her head between her legs. The
crowd roars as Selena hoists her up and then spikes her with a jumping
piledriver.
Sharper:
“Trying to end her career! A piledriver! Spiked her!”
Selena
turns and hooks the leg.
1!
2!
Gia
shoots her shoulder up. The crowd roars. Selena then looks at Gia and then
grabs her again and pulls her up. She then hoists her up and goes for a second
piledriver. She connects. The crowd ohs. Selena goes for the pin.
1!
2!
Gia
shoots her shoulder up again. Xander continues to look on as Selena then looks
at Gia. Gina starts to get up on the floor, holding her shoulder as Selena then
grabs Gia and starts to pull her up again. She then places her head between her
legs again. This time, Xander steps in, as she hoists her up and pushes Gia
down. Selena turns and looks at Xander as the crowd roars.
Xander:
“This isn’t you!”
Selena:
“You want to end another career. Be my fucking guest. Just fucking do it then!”
Xander:
“The hell is going on?”
Selena
then drags Xander over to the corner and tags him in before exiting the ring.
She then motions to him.
Selena:
“Since you know better!”
Xander
turns and just then, Xander grabs Gia, but as he does, Gina enters and hits a
superkick on Xander. Xander stumbles back into his corner. Selena then tags
herself back in. She then looks at him.
Selena:
“Now stay the hell out of my way!”
Selena
enters and spins around before running over to Gina and clotheslining her down.
She then turns around and grabs Gia, but Gia suddenly takes Selena over with an
inside cradle.
1!
2!
Selena
just kicks out. The crowd ohs. Both get up and Selena goes for the Glass Shard,
but Gia ducks it. Selena stops and turns and Gia hits a superkick on Selena!
The crowd erupts. Gia drops down for the pin.
1!
2!
Selena
shoots her shoulder up. Xander looks on and exits the ring. He then rubs his
face, trying to figure out what to do.
Sharper:
“Selena kicking out after that Gia superkick and Selena’s attitude being a huge
issue in this for the champions.”
Knots:
“Still want to save her or whatever you were saying!”
Kayl:
“Xander trying to get through to Selena, but she’s only further unraveled!”
Selena
rolls over as Gia rolls off. She looks over to Gina as Gina is on the apron.
Gia tags her in. Gina then grabs the top rope and springboards to the top
turnbuckle and hits a huge moonsault onto Frost! The crowd roars. Gina goes for
the pin.
1!
2!
Xander
enters and pulls her off. The crowd looks on. Xander exits the ring. He starts
to pace on the apron. Gina looks over and smirks before turning and tagging in
Gia. Gia enters the ring and Selena stirs. Gina heads over and Selena elbows
her, but Gia kicks Selena in the ribs. They then snapmare her over and Gina and
Gia move to opposite corners. The crowd roars as they start to shake their
asses before then running towards Selena, but Selena gets up and rushes to
Gina, and forearms her down. But this again, opens up Selena as Gia jumps up
and hits a rolling clutch pin.
1!
2!
Selena
kicks out and Gia falls forward and into Valentine/Frost corner. Xander grabs
her by the throat. The crowd roars. Xander then hoists her up and hits a
chokeslam. Selena looks up as the crowd gives a mixed reaction.
Sharper:
“And Xander chokeslams Gia! Selena noticing this.”
Kayl:
“Xander still trying to win.”
Xander
then extends his arm to Selena. Selena winces as she gets up and then looks at
Gia and then Gina and runs over and jumps up and hits a frankensteiner. Gina
rolls over to the floor. Selena then gets up and looks at Xander again. She
scans the ring before turning and tagging in Xander. Xander looks a bit
surprised. Selena just exits to the apron. Xander steps in and Gia starts to
get up only for Xander then grab her and whip her into the ropes. Gia bounces
off and Xander scoops her up and hits a huge sidewalk slam. He then hooks the
leg.

gets her shoulder up. Xander turns as Selena now looks on from the corner,
running her hands through her hair.
Sharper:
“Only two as Xander now works on Gia Glimmer.”
Knots:
“See! Selena finally calmed down!”
Kayl:
“Just shocking change. I don’t get it. She’s run hot all match.”
Knots:
“Maybe she’s realized something – what’s the point of doing all of the work
when you may get hurt. And trust me, the Glimmers can do damage.”
Sharper:
“That’s a fair point Jon.”
Knots:
“See! This is why you need me! I understand ego!”
Kayl:
“Is it all ego?”
Selena
Frost now looks down, almost leaning on the top turnbuckle, her mouth seen to
be moving as she seems to be talking to herself as Xander whips Gia into the
neutral corner. He runs after and hits a running splash. Gia staggers out and
Xander then pulls her out and whips her across the ring. Xander runs after and
goes to shoulder Gia back. Gia stumbles back into the corner and Xander hoists
up Gia, going for the Valhalla has Fallen. Gia however tries to contort herself
only for Gina to enter and pull Gia down. Xander turns and boots Gia, but then
gets caught by another superkick, this one from Gina. Selena seems to ignore
this as she continues to talk to herself as Gina then turns and goes to Gia and
helps her up. Xander slowly starts to get up and the official, Jennifer
Cassidy, stops Gina, trying to get her out of the ring. Instead, Gina starts to
push Gia out, keeping the fresher Glimmer in. Gina then turns and runs at
Xander and jumps up and dropkicks him in the chest. Xander falls to the ropes,
his arms getting caught into the ropes. Gina sees this and smiles before she
gets up and then leans forward, pressing her chest against Xander. Xander tries
to get free and Gina then nails him with shot after shot after shot. Selena
looks up and then audibly yells out in frustration before she enters the ring
and runs over to Gina. Cassidy tries to get control, but Selena shoves Cassidy
back and nails Gina with a hard right and then another and another.
Sharper:
“Selena coming in. Xander still stuck in the ropes!”
Knots:
“She’s going to have to take care of it herself!”
Gina
takes the shots as Cassidy tries to pull Selena off of her. Selena turns and
shoves her off. Gina smirks a bit as Selena then nails Gina again. Gina falls
to the mat and Cassidy then sees Selena and Selena snaps at her.
Selena:
“Free him!”
Xander
keeps arching his back, trying to free himself as we see Gia start to get up in
the corner. Selena is again pulled back by Cassidy who tries to get her out of
the ring. Gia then runs over to Selena and nails her with a shot. The crowd
ohs. Selena pushes past Cassidy and nails Gia with a hard right and then
another. Gina slides in as Selena is pulled back again by Cassidy. Xander gets
free and Gina runs at Xander. Xander elbows her back. Selena throws Cassidy
down and then turns and goes for the Glass Shard. This time, Gia lunges and
shoves Gina down as Selena lunges and hits Xander with the Glass Shard.
Sharper:
“Oh no! Selena hit Xander!”
Knots:
“She’s doesn’t seem too bent out about it!”
Kayl:
“The Glimmer saved each other like Selena saved Xander last month!”
Xander
falls to the ropes, wincing as we then see Gina and Gia run up behind Selena
and throw her to the floor. Xander tries to fight up to his feet and then steps
up as Gia and Gina then hit the Mirror Routine. Xander drops to the mat. Gina
and Gia dive onto Xander as Selena gets up on the floor.

Selena
looks on as the bell sounds. Gia and Gina Glimmer roll off. Selena just glares
at them before turning to Xander.
Phillips:
“Here are your winners, via pinfall, and NEW SCW World Tag Team Champions…Gina
and Gia, the Glimmer Sisters!”
Sharper:
“And the Glimmer Sisters take advantage of Selena’s erratic behaviour and the
fractured nature of her team with Xander to regain the World Tag Team
Championships!”
Kayl:
“Selena is just staring a hole into them.”
Knots:
“Don’t worry! You’ve got a World Title shot, right!”
Selena
starts to speak to herself before backing away. She then turns and looks out.
Sharper:
“She may have just reminded herself of that too. She keeps talking to herself.
Almost like she’s reminding herself of whatever she’s got in mind.”
Kayl:
“And after everything between these two teams, is Selena really okay with this?
Is this title shot she claims she has…”
Sharper:
“I don’t know, but remember…there’s another rematch here if they want it. CHBK
has been clear there-“
Knots:
“She doesn’t want to team with him. World Title for Selena!”
Sharper:
“Well regardless, Gia and Gina played the game and they manipulated this match
to get here. Xander and Selena got one over them last month. Tonight, they
showed their tactics worked.”
Gia and
Gina Glimmer are shown holding the SCW World Tag Team Championships. She pose
in the ring as Xander slowly rolls over and moves to the ropes. Selena is now
walking to the back as Xander watches them. He turns and looks at Gia and Gina
who continue to pose with the World Tag Team Championship. One of the Glimmers
even gets into the cameras.
Gia(?):
“No one can stop us. Not even hall of famers!”
Gina
leans in and winks as the crowd looks on.
We cut
to the ringside position.
Sharper:
“Well folks, World Tag Team Championship changing hands. But next, we’re seeing
the end of an era. No matter how you slice it.”
Kayl:
“The last walk for Cid Turner.”
Sharper:
“For the final time, Cid Turner enters the ring and here at Retribution, he
ends his career facing his good friend, Asher Hayes!”
A recap
video focuses on the friendship of Asher Hayes and Cid Turner and how this
match came to be.
Cid
Turner vs. Asher Hayes
The
opening riff to "Song for the Dead" by Queens of the Stone
Age kicks in. At the 37 second mark, the name "Asher Hayes"
blares through the PA system, and Asher appears on the stage, wearing a
long leather jacket, his face full of focus. The SCW Underground Championship
is around his waist. He bows down for a few moments before standing up
straight, throwing both fists in the air, before making his way towards the
ring.
“It's late enough to go driving
And see what's mine
Life's the study of dying
How to do it right"
He makes his way down the ramp as the reaction of the crowd rains down upon
him. He walks up the ring steps and climbs to the top turnbuckle, lifting both
fists into the air, slinging the jacket off his shoulders, simply looking
at the crowd before dropping down and running to the opposite side.
Phillips:
“The following contest is scheduled for onefall with a sixty minute time limit.
First, on his way to the ring, from Chicago, Illinois, he is the SCW
Underground Champion, Asher Hayes!”
“You're a holy roller
If you bettin' to lose
If you're hanging around
I'm holding the noose"
He stands, once again, on the top rope. His expression remains focused as he
looks toward the ceiling, before dropping down, removing his jacket and handing
his belongings to the ref.
"Ah, ah, ah, ah
Ah, ah, ah, ah
Ah, ah, ah, ah
Ah, ah, ah, ah
Come a little bit closer
And get untied
In a hearse rolling over
Just a track in the line
Fuck it..."
Asher then leans into the corner, waiting for the match to begin.
Sharper:
“Asher Hayes stepped up to try and give his friend, Cid Turner, the sign off he
deserves. One more match. One more last stand. Friend against friend.”
Kayl:
“After A/C Unit ran one more time, beating Light in the Darkness. Asher Hayes
making sure Cid didn’t have to carry the load, so we don’t need to worry about
some of those issues, but the turn around is still a thing.”
Knots:
“Cid’s being held together by scotch tape and dreams. He better be ready. Or is
this all Asher Hayes way to finally get one over his friend after everything
they’ve been through.”
The
lights slowly dim down. The crowd buzzes in anticipation, many of them taking
their phones out and lighting up the arena with their flashlights. After a few
moments of silence, “Dark Child” by Marlon Williams plays as the lights flash
back on. The big screen shows several highlights of Cid Turner's career as the
song continues to play. The crowd roars as Cid makes his way onto the stage,
looking tensely out into the crowd. Cid takes a moment to let it all soak in
before he begins his walk down the ramp.
Phillips:
“His opponent, from Denver, Colorado, he is…the Masta of Speed….the King of the
World….sometimes, just Cidnay, he is Cid Turner!”
“My
little blonde-haired, blue-eyed boy
One day
you'll grow up and be distressed
One day
you'll grow up and reject everything
I've
set out for you”
Cid
continues his walk down the ramp and keeps his eye on the ring while
continually muttering to himself. Cid reaches the ring and climbs up the steps,
slowly walking across the apron to the corner and pulling himself up onto the
second rope, standing on the turnbuckle and looking around the arena while
taking a deep breath. He pounds his chest and peers out into the sea of people.
“My
only dear long wasteful son
One day
you'll wonder what you've become”
The
music begins to fade out as Cid climbs down from the ropes and enters the ring,
making his way to the corner.
Sharper:
“Cid Turner, one more walk to this ring. We’ve seen what he was doing to hold
onto the World Title. If he has anything left, he’s going to give it.”
Knots:
“But can he drive himself the same way…”
Sharper:
“His family here. So they are here. And you know that’s driven him in the past.
Can that be enough? Or was the World Title what really was keeping him going?”
Cid
looks across at Asher Hayes as the crowd roars. Hayes smirks as Cid Turner
nods. The official, Steve Hollinsworth, looks at both and then calls for the
bell. The bell sounds as the crowd roars. Cid and Asher remain looking across
from one another. Cid looks around, taking in his moment as Hayes then can be
seen asking “You ready?” Cid nods and the two circle the ring.
Sharper:
“And here we go. Hayes. Turner. One final time!”
The two
lock up in the middle of the ring. They push back on one another before Cid
turns into a side headlock. He pulls back as Hayes then pulls Cid back and into
the ropes. He fires him off. Cid bounces off the other side and Hayes shoulders
him down. Cid looks up as Hayes runs into the ropes. He bounces off and Cid
drops down in front of him. Hayes hops over and bounces off the other side and
Cid leap frogs over and Hayes hits the opposite side and Cid hits an arm drag.
Hayes rolls through. He gets up and Cid hits a hip toss. Hayes gets back up and
Cid hits an arm drag and holds on.
Sharper:
“And Cid looking sharp here tonight.”
Knots:
“Asher should’ve made him run the match on Breakdown. Tired him out.”
Kayl:
“Or maybe Hayes spent too much time enjoying spring break.”
Cid
holds on as Asher slowly gets up. Hayes looks up at Cid and then pushes up
before then pushing Cid into the ropes and then turning and throwing him in.
Cid bounces off the ropes and Hayes goes for a back elbow. Cid ducks under and
bounces off the other side before Hayes jumps up with a calf kick. Cid hits the
mat. Cid rolls over and starts to get up and Hayes grabs him and wrenches the
arm. Cid winces and Hayes pushes him down to the mat. He then holds his arm up
and knees him in the shoulder. Cid winces as he kicks at the mat. Hayes holds
on and Cid slowly starts to fight up to his knees and then to his feet before
Hayes wrenches the arm again. He then fires Cid into the corner. Hayes runs
after and Cid lowers his head. Hayes floats up and over and onto the apron. Cid
turns and goes for a hard right, but Hayes blocks it and then hits a guillotine
drop. Cid staggers back and Hayes enters the ring and spins through and into a

him and chant his name and the scene slowly fades out.
We open
up to see a speedometer starting to climb as an engine revs. We cut to shots of
a car speeding past several high-risers before we see the car turn and speed
down another street. It continues to drive before we cut to closer up shots as
the car weaves through some traffic and then turns down one street before
continuing to drive at high speeds, tires squealing and screeching, before it
takes another turn and then stops before we see a drone shot, showing the car
arriving outside of Ford Field. It turns and starts to go down into a concrete
tunnel, screeching through the tunnel and picking up speed before turning and
we then see people running out of the way.
Voice:
“Run! RUN!”
We see
CHBK moving out of the way, along with Lucas Knight and Dean Black as we see
the car then keep driving before crashing through a stage and banner with Rise
to Greatness XXIII on it. The car finally comes to a stop. We then see
reporters and photographers looking on before the window rolls down and we see
Meghan Strader stick her head out.
Strader:
“Sorry! Uh I got a bit carried away!”
CHBK
just looks at her as the Rise to Greatness logo comes up on the screen. Sirens
begin to be heard in the background.

Sharper:

The

Phillips:
“The following contest is scheduled for onefall with a sixty minute time limit
and is for the SCW World Championship!”
The SCW
World Championship logo comes across the screen. The lights around the arena
begin to flicker in red, white, and blue as "Fortunate Son" by CCR
starts to play over the arena. "All Star" Gavin Taylor steps out from
behind the curtain onto the top of the ramp, flanked by his All-Star Secret
Service of Jack and Karl Barker, Religious Wright, and Mr. Black. As he stands
in place, posing with his arms outstretched, the chorus of the song plays.

Hoo, they're red, white and blue
And when the band plays "Hail to the chief"
Ooh, they point the cannon at you, Lord
It ain't me, it ain't me
I ain't no senator's son, son
It ain't me, it ain't me
I ain't no furtunate one, no
Gavin begins to walk down the ramp with swagger, shaking hands of the men,
kissing the hands of the women, and even patting a few kids on the head. He
smirks as he gets to the ring, pulling himself to the apron. He hangs out off
the ring while holding onto the top rope.
Phillips:
“First, the challenger, hailing from the GREAT country of America…accompanied
by his All-Star Secret Service, he is the All-Star, Gavin Taylor!”
The song continues...
Some folks are born silver spoon in hand
Lord, don't they help themselves, Lord?
But when the taxman come to the door
Lord, the house lookin' like a rummage sale, yeah
Gavin pulls himself through the ropes and steps onto the second ropes on the
opposite side of the ring from the ramp. He opens his jersey, sliding it off
his shoulders as he stretches his arms out.
It ain't me, it ain't me
I ain't no millionaire's son, no, no
It ain't me, it ain't me
I ain't no fortunate one, no
Turning around, he bounces back off the ropes as he watches for his opponent.
Sharper:
“Gavin Taylor is hoping to Make America Gavin Again and become the World
Champion here tonight in London, England.”
Kayl:
“Think of that…”
Knots:
“Bringing Greatness back to the Empire!”
Sharper:
“Stop it…and to have his goons go after Ravyn and Lexy. Just trying to get any
advantage he can against Syren here tonight.”
Knots:
“We don’t know that?!”
Sharper:
“Come on Jon. Syren thinks it. CHBK thinks it.”
The
lights in the arena plunge into darkness. A pulsing sound akin to a heartbeat
plays out across the PA system as the fans cheer.
LEXY CHAPEL PRESENTS
The heartbeat gets faster before “Groupie” by Cassie Steele hits the PA system.
After a few moments Syren comes through the curtain. Syren pauses on the stage,
looking out at the fans cheering. The SCW World Championship is around her
waist.
Sinfully Seductive
Captivatingly Corrupt
DARK FANTASY
Syren walks down the ramp. She jumps up onto the apron before climbing the
turnbuckles on the outside and waving her hands to get the fans fired up. As
the camera gets closer to her, she shouts at the camera before pointing out at
the fans.
Phillips: “Next, one her way to the ring, representing LexyCorp International,
hailing from Los Angeles, California, she is the SCW World Champion, she is
Syren!”
Syren smiles before leaping over the top rope, dropping to her knees in the
ring, posing with both her arms outstretched. Syren then steps up. Syren takes
off her ring jacket and goes to hand it to Lexy before stopping and turning and
handing it off to a crew member. She climbs up on the middle rope, posing for a
moment and then jumping back down. She hands off her title. She then looks
across at Gavin Taylor, her game face on.
Sharper:
“Syren is as motivated as we’ve seen her. She’s back at the top. She wants to
prove she can get that big run.”
Kayl:
“People are lining up after. So you know, win or lose, you’re fighting for your
life. And Syren won’t accept a loss.”
Knots:
“Neither will Gavin Taylor!”
Gavin
demands Aaron Demitra, the official, show him the World Title. Gavin looks at
it and points at Syren.
Gavin:
“Just like you stole something from me, I’m taking that! SCW World Champion of
America!”
Syren
just keep glaring at Gavin as Gavin smirks as he moves back to his corner.
Demitra hands off the title and backs up. He then checks on Gavin before
turning to Syren. They both say they’re ready before the bell sounds. The bell
sounds and the crowd roars. Gavin steps up and Syren runs at Gavin and jumps up
and takes him down with a Lou Thesz press. She then hammers away on him as
Gavin covers up frantically. The crowd roars as Syren hammers away over and
over and over again before Gavin pushes her off. Gavin rolls over and tries to
crawl through the ropes. Syren crawls over and grabs Gavin by the leg. He
starts to try and crawl out, kicking wildly. Syren keeps trying to pull him in
before Gavin kicks her in the face. Syren falls back and Gavin unceremoniously
falls forward to the mats. He rolls over and starts to get up and Syren then
gets up and runs at the ropes and grabs the top rope and vaults over, landing
on Gavin!
Sharper:
“Syren! Over the top! Right onto Taylor!”
Knots:
“He was taking a powder!”
Sharper:
“And Syren isn’t stopping!”
Syren
kneels next to Gavin and nails him with hard right hands. (1) She hammers away
on him as Gavin tries to push him off. Karl Barker walks around. (2) He heads
to Syren and Syren gets up and nails him with a hard right, knocking him down.
(3) Gavin crawls around the steel steps and over to the entrance way. Syren
turns after. (4) She goes over to him and grabs him and pulls him up. Gavin
yells out.
Gavin:
“Get her off! Get her off-“
Gavin
elbows Syren in the ribs and then rolls into the ring. (5) Syren rolls in after
and Gavin scrambles to his feet and runs into the ropes, bouncing off and Syren
runs at him and spears him down! The crowd erupts.
Sharper:
“Syren spears Gavin! Right hands raining down!”
Kayl:
“Gavin may finally again be getting what he deserves!”
Knots:
“He deserves the World Title! People believe in him!”
Kayl:
“Please!”
Syren
nails him a couple more times before getting up. She then runs into the ropes.
Gavin rolls over and Syren hits a basement dropkick. Gavin falls back. Syren
then grabs him and pulls him up and hooks him up and hits a snap suplex. She
then turns and exits to the apron. Jack Barker jumps onto the apron and Syren
turns and dives off and hits a double axe handle smash to Jack, knocking him
off the apron and to the floor. Demitra turns and warns Gavin’s A.S.S.S. Syren
turns to the ring and steps through, but Gavin runs over and knees Syren in the
face. Syren ends up hanging up on the middle rope. Gavin then grabs her and
hits the Cubic Zirconium Cutter! The crowd ohs.
Sharper:
“Syren driven into the mat. Cutter…”
Knots:
“And new champion!”
Kayl:
“Already?!”
Gavin
pulls Syren away from the ropes and hooks the legs, pointing up and counting
with Demitra.

Syren
kicks out. Gavin turns and snaps at Demitra.
Gavin:
“Hey! You better not be in on it! You better do what you need to do! The best
things. The things for Making America Gavin Again…in Britain…”
Gavin
berates Demitra as Syren moves to the corner. Gavin follows up and Syren kicks
him in the ribs. Gavin staggers back and Syren kicks him again. She then runs
out and hits another Lou Thesz Press. She hammers away on Gavin as he covers up
again. Syren gets a few good shots in before getting up and walking forward.
Gavin rolls over and moves to the ropes. He then starts to get up and Syren
turns and runs over to him and hits the Face Lift. Gavin stumbles back and hits
the corner before falling out and down to the mat. Syren goes for the pin.

mat. He gets back up and Syren nails him again. Gavin hits the mat. He gets up
and Syren grabs him and Gavin reaches up and rakes the eyes. The crowd ohs and
boos. Syren staggers around and Gavin then grabs her and turns and throws her
over the top rope and Syren lands on the mats on the floor and rolls to the
barricade.
Sharper:
“Gavin to the eyes. And then sending Syren to the floor. Discombobulating her
further.”
Kayl:
“You think you’re in the ring. Gavin sending her to the floor. Exactly where
her A.S.S.S. is.”
Knots:
“And what would they do?”
Gavin
turns to Demitra who reprimands him and Syren starts to get up before Religious
Wright runs over and hits a running kick to Syren’s ribs. She rolls over in
pain as Wright then runs away. The crowd boos.
Sharper:
“How about that?”
Knots:
“He was making sure she was still breathing! Making America Heave Again!”
Gavin
turns past Demitra and rolls to the floor. (1) He then walks over to Syren.
Syren grimaces in pain. (2) He then grabs her and pulls her up before hoisting
her up and dropping her chest first onto the barricade. (3) Syren falls back to
the ring apron. Gavin then grabs her and turns and rolls her into the ring. (4)

Demitra:
“She kicked out!”

and elbows her in the back of the head. Syren falls to a knee. Gavin then hooks
her up and hits a vertical suplex. Gavin then gets up and hits an elbow drop
before getting up and hitting a second elbow drop and then getting up and
hitting a jumping knee drop. He turns and hooks the leg.

Syren
kicks out again. Gavin looks up and glares at Demitra, who now is hearing it
from Mr. Black, Religious Wright, Jack and Karl Barker. Gavin grabs Syren by
the hair and then drags her to feet before running her over to the corner,
driving her face first into the middle turnbuckle.
Sharper:
“Syren driven into the middle turnbuckle.”
Kayl:
“Almost a short stop and just trying to again confuse.”
Knots:
“There’s a method here!”
Gavin
then pulls Syren up and hoists her up and places her on the top turnbuckle. He
then hooks her legs on the top turnbuckle and pulls her down, placing her in
the tree of woe. Gavin then kicks her in the ribs over and over and over again.

dives for the pin.

back and Syren then gets up and jumps up and hits the Golden Blonde. Gavin
rolls over, holding his ribs in pain and kicking at the mat. Syren looks around

him in the ribs once and then again and again. She then grabs him and pulls him
out and hooks him up for a vertical suplex. She tries to hoist him up, but
Gavin blocks it and again, he turns and throws her through the ropes to the
floor. (1)
Sharper:
“Gavin again sends Syren to the floor to get some distance.”
Kayl:
“Making her get back in the ring. And given that he’s given her a reason to
also want to hurt him…”
Knots:
“I thought she was honourable. She’d fight.”
Sharper:
“She’s trying, Jon. Gavin keeps trying to get distance!”
Gavin
Taylor turns and gets Demitra’s attention and this time, Jack and Karl both
grab Syren and lift her up and run her into the steel steps. Syren falls over
as the top half bowls over. Karl and Jack then run away. Demitra turns, finally

“Now trying to just keep her down and use whatever he can!”
Sharper:
“That’s head on steel and Gavin is hoping that Syren may be out!”
Knots:
“Or he’s hoping he can do more damage!”
Gavin
then looks at Syren as he looks around. (3) He then gets up and sees Syren
wincing in pain.(4) Syren touches her forehead before Gavin grabs her and pulls
her forward and places her head between his legs. (5) He then hoists her up and

up and grabs Demitra by the collar. Demitra pulls away. Gavin looks at him
stunned, leading Karl, Jack and Wright all to climb onto the apron. Demitra
turns and tells them to get down. Syren stirs as we see Black throw a police
baton at Gavin. Syren starts to get up and Gavin nails her in the ribs. He
throws it aside as Karl and Jack jump down. Wright keeps yelling at Demitra
before dropping down.
Sharper:
“Gavin! Black used a baton. One of the same batons the All-Star Secret Service
used on Ravyn and Lexy earlier!”
Knots:
“Just trying to move this along!”
Sharper:
“Who’s doing the steal here?!”
Gavin

Kayl:
“Superkick!”
Sharper:
“Syren got Gavin! That superkick right to the jaw!”
Kayl:
“But that baton stick strike paying dividends. Syren collapses to her knees.”
Knots:
“Come on Syren. I thought you had heart!”
Syren
holds her ribs and starts to get up. She moves to the corner as Gavin rolls
over, holding his jaw, shaking the cobwebs loose. He then gets up and turns as
Syren, who has now climbed up to the middle turnbuckle, dives off with a

Knots:
“What a cheap shot!”
Syren
rolls to the floor and then stomps him twice as Karl and Jack run over to her.
Syren looks at them and tells her to come at her.
Wright:
“WAIT!”
Karl
and Jack stop and look around before Syren then nails Karl for good measure

turning around and walking into Gavin who grabs her and hits the Desperation
Buzzer Beater. He then goes for the pin.

2!
Syren
kicks out. The crowd ohs.
Sharper:
“Syren kicks out! Even with the damn Secret Services getting involved! Gavin
got her, but Syren still kicks out!”
Knots:
“Damn it!”
Gavin
then grabs Syren and slowly pulls her up. He then knees her in the ribs before
backing up and hitting a knee lift. Syren falls back into the corner. Gavin
walks over and chops her. The crowd woos. Gavin then hoists her up and places
her on the top turnbuckle. Gavin then grabs her and nails her with a hard right

reaches up and rakes the eyes. He then steps up and grabs Syren and looks

Gavin then gets up as Wright then rolls into the ring.
Wright:
“That was fucking three! THREE! You’re not going to steal this from him!”
Demitra:
“Enough! You’re out! You’re out! Them too!”
Gavin
stomps away on Syren before Wright snaps back.
Wright:
“What? I represent God!”
Demitra:
“Out!”
Sharper:
“Finally!”
Gavin
turns as Demitra motions for the A.S.S.S. and Wright to leave. The crowd cheers
as Wright looks around. Gavin looks stunned before then turning and going back
to Syren. He stomps away on her over and over and over again. Wright exits as
Jack walks over to him, holding his jaw. Karl does too. The three start to head
to the back as officials come down from the back, and escort them. At this
point, we see Dean Black coming down as Demitra motions for something, but
Black ignores it and gathers the officials, the Barkers, and Wright. Gavin then
grabs Syren and pulls her up and then places her head between his legs. He
hoists her up for the Highlight of the Night, but Syren slides down. The crowd
erupts as Gavin turns and Syren hits a third superkick. Gavin falls to the mat.
Sharper:
“Another superkick!”
Knots:
“Gavin was trying to end it. Syren…how the hell?”
Kayl:
“You said it! She has heart!”
Knots:
“I was being sarcastic!”
Sharper:
“And now an opening. And maybe on solid ground!”
Gavin
rolls over and Syren runs over and jumps up and hits a running rocker dropper.
She rolls him over and hooks the leg.
1!
2!
Gavin
shoots his shoulder up. Gavin rolls over and stirs as Syren grabs him and drags
him up. Dean Black glances back as Syren then kicks Gavin in the ribs and goes
for the Total Makeover, but Gavin lifts her up and shoves her back. Gavin drops
down and rolls to the floor. He then staggers over to the timekeeper and grabs
the SCW World Championship.
Kayl:
“That’s not yours yet!”
Sharper:
“Gavin, going full desperation now!”
Syren
stirs as Gavin turns and rolls into the ring. He then gets up and goes to nail
Syren, but the official, Demitra, grabs the title and pulls it away. Syren then
grabs him from behind as Demitra turns and hands the title off, but then Mr.
Black pulls himself into the ring and we see him run up behind Syren and club
her. Syren stumbles and turns as Mr. Black looks up and Syren nails him with a
hard right. We then realize that he’s dropped something. Gavin grabs it as
Demitra runs over and gets Mr. Black out of the ring. Syren turns to Gavin who
nails her with a hard right. We then see Gavin placing the item, a pair of
brass knuckles, into his tights. He then grabs Syren as Syren turns, woozy, but
still trying to resistance. Gavin pulls her up and clubs her in the back before
placing her head between his legs. He hen hoists her up and hits the Superb Owl
XLVII. The crowd ohs.
Sharper:
“The knuckles! Mr. Black…he was still at ringside! Wait! No! No!”
Knots:
“Yes! YES!”
Gavin
rolls Syren over and hooks the leg.
1!
2!
3!
The
bell sounds and the crowd looks on stunned as Gavin smiles and rolls over.
Phillips:
“Here is your winner, via pinfall, and NEW SCW World Champion…Gavin Taylor!”
Sharper:
“I’m in shock!”
Knots:
“Make SCW Gavin Again! Gavin Taylor! New World Champion! This is the greatest
moment in the history of this sport!”
Kayl:
“Give me a break!”
We then
see CHBK now out in the entrance way as Dean Black is getting a chewing out
from him. CHBK starts to head to the ring. We then see at this point, Frank
Delatosso approaching the ring from the floor. He is helped in around the
timekeeper’s table. He walks over to the ring and then starts to get in as the
Barkers run down to the ring. Gavin gets up and looks around as the crowd looks
on stunned. Gavin is handed the SCW World Championship and he looks at it and
smiles as we then see Frank Delatosso walk over and extend his hand. CHBK walks
over to the ring and stops as Syren rolls over in pain. Delatosso then takes
the World Championship and places it around Gavin Taylor. Gavin throws his arms
up in the air and smiles.
Sharper:
“And the CEO of SCW is playing the title around the waist of Gavin Taylor!”
Kayl:
“Didn’t he say he’d do that to Syren. You think there’s something else going on
here!”
Sharper:
“And it stinks! It stinks!”
CHBK
looks on from ringside as Delatosso celebrates with Taylor. Religious Wright is
now in the ring as he gets down to a knee and offers a “prayer.” The crowd
looks on as Syren now rolls to the floor. CHBK heads over to her. Syren looks
up and then looks at the ring. Delatosso and Taylor talk before suddenly, his
music cuts out as do the lights.
The
video wall then shuts down as a strong bass and drumline keys up as the
gravelly voice of James Hetfield then comes out of the speakers.
Little
grave I'm grieving,
I will
mend you
Sweet
revenge I'm dreaming,
I will
end you
I've
been here since dawn of time
Countless
hatreds built my shrine
I was
born in anger's flame
He was
Abel, I was Cain
I am
here
I'm
hell unbound
Burn
your kingdom to the ground
At this
point the lights suddenly come back on full and standing directly behind Gavin
is none other than the “Ronin” himself-Chris Dumont.
Sharper:
“It’s Dumont! Chris Dumont!”
Kayl:
“Gavin!”
Knots:
“Turn around! No! No! This is his moment!”
Chris,
looking decidedly much better and more defined since the last time that anyone
saw him on SCW television, suddenly grabs Gavin by his right arm and Irish
whips him into the far ropes at which point Chris hits Gavin full force with a
running low-angle shoulder block that blows Gavin high over the top rope. Gavin
goes up and over as Karl and Jack Barker run to Frank Delatosso. They then
start to whisk the SCW CEO away as CHBK looks around before we see Wil Pierce,
Alex Belmont, and David Striker running down from he back. The crowd erupts as
Religious Wright turns and goes over to help Gavin. Syren looks around and
smirks before running around and as the Barkers get Delatosso out of the ring,
whisking him away. Gavin and Wright aren’t as successful as the Troupe runs
around as Chris hits his father's signature “crucifix” pose in the center of
the ring while throwing his head back as he soaks in the cheers from the fans
before he then launches himself over the top rope with the “Arrow from the
Depths of Hell” at Gavin and Wright. The crowd roars.
Sharper:
“Dumont! Onto Gavin! Onto Wright!”
Knots:
“Get him out of there!”
Mr.
Black runs around and then grabs Gavin and pulls him up. Pierce and Belmont run
around and Black lifts Gavin up and tries to get him over the barricade. Dean
Black now runs back to the ring with officials as the crowd looks on. Gavin is
pushed over the barricade and rolls over, half out of it. Dumont then gets up
and climbs up onto the announce table. He looks at Gavin as Gavin rolls over.
Syren is now on the apron, looking at Gavin as CHBK stands near her, taking in
the chaos.
Sharper:
“Gavin trying to get out of there. The Troupe is here. Dumont is here! A
skeleton from Gavin’s closet coming out.”
Knots:
“But he’s World Champion! He’s the World Champion of the United States of the
World!”
Sharper:
“And everyone has their sights on him!”
Gavin
tries to get free as Wright and Black are assaulted by Pierce, Striker and
Belmont as the scene fades out…
