We open up in a warehouse, spotlights shining down in the middle of the floor. We then see a shot of Amelia Nevado stepping up, holding her SCW World Championship. She looks up at the camera.

We see a shot of Deanna Frost standing in the spotlight before showing her winning the Taking Hold of the Flame, broadcast on the wall behind her.

 

That feeling of doing the impossible the improbable

 

We see a shot of Gavin Taylor holding the SCW World Championship, looking around, before showing Chris Dumont attacking him in the ring.

 

It may come from a hard fought journey

 

Syren walks into the spotlight, before cutting to a shot of Alistaire Allocco, arms folded in front of him, standing in that same spotlight.

 

It may come from revenge

 

We see Ryan LeCavalier cross-legged in the spotlight, glaring at the camera, before showing David Striker pacing in the spotlight.

 

Or it may come from us having to compete against our worst impulses

 

We then see a shot of David Striker diving over the top rope onto Kimberly Williams, before showing Asher Hayes pushing the garbage trolley with Kimberly and David inside of it off the stage.

 

Or it may come from our own desire to overcome our past limitations

We see the US Championship in the spotlight, Dexter Grant clearly not with the title, whether out of choice or protest. We then see a shot of the Glimmer Sisters dancing in the spotlight.

We then see a shot of the European Fiery Nation walking around the spotlight before showing Chris Lawler looking at the floor, kicking the dust on the ground around.

 

And it comes from needing to rise to the moment

 

We then see a shot of Bree Lancaster posing in the spotlight before smirking.

Selena Frost is then shown in the talent, before we see a shot of the World Championship in the spotlight, with Selena Frost absence.

We then cut to see Shaun Cruze stretching out his neck. We then cut to show Kimberly Williams and Marie Jones talking to one another, before Glory Braddock is shown.

 

While others hope to be their standardbearer for a generation ready to do the impossible again.

 

We then cut to show La Pequena Luz looking up at the spotlight before showing Dawn Lohan confidently standing in the light.

 

While there are those who reflect consistency or a legacy there is one thing in common

 

We then see shots of Meghan Strader sitting on her motorcycle, before cutting to show Amelia Nevado, Asher Hayes, Deanna Frost, Colleen MacDonald, and a video of Dexter Grant holding the US Championship, each with their championships.

We see shots of Selena Frost talking, before showing Deanna Frost looking disappointed, before showing Amelia Nevado talking to Frank Delatosso. This is followed by a shot of Polly Playtime in the spotlight, as video plays of her attacking CHBK in the background plays.

We then cut again to show Amelia Nevado holding the SCW World Championship. She then places it calmly around her waist.

Amelia poses as the scene fades out.

 

Hush by Muse featuring Ellie Goulding plays as we see a computer generated metropolis as the camera flies over it before turning and cycling around a computer-generated version of Ford Field before moving out to show the Rise to Greatness logo.

 

And now, Supreme Championship Wrestling presents Rise to Greatness XXIII!

 

The logo remains on the screen for a few moments before we cut inside Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan. The crowd roars as pyro shoots up the rampway and to the stage before exploding in a beautiful display of coloured fireworks and flames, high into the air. The display continues for several moments before spotlight circle the stadium. Cameras pans across the excited crowd.

 

Sharper: We are live for the twenty-third time for Rise to Greatness!

 

The cameras continue to pan across the crowd.

 

Sharper: A night where so many hope to cement their legacies and to put the stamp of success on their careers!

The bell sounds as we see the SCW United States Championship belt hanging over the ring.

 

Phillips: The opening contest at Rise to Greatness XXIII is the ladder match for the SCW United States Championship!

 

The SCW US Championship logo comes across the screen.

 

Knots: Ready for a car crash?!

 

Boys Wanna Be Her (Tommie Sunshine s Brooklyn Fire Retouch) by Peaches starts up over the arena sound system as the houselights slowly dim. At the 30 second mark, lights start flickering as the beat and rhythm of the song get louder.

The SCWtron lights up showing past moments of glory from Meghan Strader in SCW, including her holding the SCW United States Championship. A few moments pass before flames shoot out from the stage and high into the air as we see Meghan Strader roll out from the back on her motorcycle. The crowd roars as she looks around and scans Ford Field.

 

Phillips: First, on her way to the ring, from London, Ontario, Canada, she is Meghan Strader!

Meghan looks out and hits her finger pistols before then turning and driving down the rampway, gaining speed, driving between ladders that have been set up on the sides of the wider rampway. She then starts to drive around the ring, looking in the ring, and around, taking in the moment as the crowd continues to cheer her. She drives around the ring, maneuvering between the ring, the barricade, the steel steps, and the ladders leaning against the barricade. She drives around to the end of the rampway where she stops. She looks over as Mackenzie Strader is waiting for her. Meghan says something to her and she hands off her motorcycle to Mackenzie to drive it away from ringside. Meghan turns and hops up onto the apron. She wipes her boots before stepping into the ring and jumps up to the top turnbuckle as she raises her fist in the air. She steps down, and starts to walk around the ring before looking up at the US Championship, hanging over the ring.

 

Sharper: Meghan Strader added to this match by CHBK. She s the former US Champion. We now know that based on the accusations by Dexter Grant-

 

Knots: Lies and slander!

 

Sharper: The results of the fan s vote were cooked to take the title from Meghan Strader. She was then fired. Now back. And she wants her title back. Talk about motivation!

 

Ride The Lightning by Metallica plays over the sound system as Oskar Theron walks through the curtain, holding up his Norwegian flag, garbed fully in Norwegian colours. Ginny Raab walks out behind him. The crowd boos as he looks around. He waves his flag defiantly as his nameplate comes up on the screen. He then starts to walk to the ring.


Phillips: Next, from Oslo, Norway, representing the European Fiery Nation, accompanied by Ginny Raab, he is Oskar Theron!

He walks to the ring before sliding under the ropes. He turns and holds the ropes open for Ginny to get in. She does, and Oskar then turns and goes to the corner, placing his flag into the turnbuckle and giving his lightning bolt sign. Ginny applauds before Oskar hops down. He grabs the flag and waves it as Meghan Strader just glares a hole into him. Ginny exits the ring as Oskar keeps his eye on Meghan.

 

Sharper: Oskar Theron has two goals here. Make sure some of Delatosso s rivals don t make it and to win the title for himself.

 

Knots: And in that order. He s a great soldier. An obedient man and if the EFN comes through tonight, they ll be given the world!

 

The lights dim before strobe lights flash all over the stage. The opening chords of "Warrior" by Imagine Dragons reverberate through the speakers. Smoke billows out onto the stage as Chris Lawler walks out from the back, fists taped, and ready to compete. He looks out at the crowd, his nameplate comes up on the screen. He then starts to head to the ring, focused on the ring.

 

Phillips: From Nashville, Tennessee, he is Chris Lawler!

Lawler makes the walk to the ring, the camera panning out to show the rampway. He then reaches the ring and stops. He then walks up the steel steps and then wipes his feet and enters the ring. He then steps over to the middle of the ring, looking first at Oskar, before then looking up at the US Championship. He then turns to Meghan and backs up.

Sharper: Lawler has been also affiliated with Delatosso. You wonder though if there is a desire to hold gold first.

 

Knots: He can try for the gold. But just take out everyone else. Get it done and you have much more stability!

 

All the lights in the arena suddenly cut out, leaving the fans gasping and roaring in surprise. After a few moments where nothing seems to be happening, the audible confusion from the crowd is answered by a single spotlight shining down on a familiar man, his hefty body somehow perfectly stuffed into a typical circus ringmaster's attire with the exception of wearing nothing but a mesh shirt beneath the coat and his top hat being adorned with various sigils representing lust from the Ars Goetia. The fans who are familiar with Lucian Lurid erupt into cheers that contrast with the boos from fans who have a pretty good idea of why he's here as he lifts a mic to his grinning lips and cackles.

Lucian: Thanks for the bloody warm welcome, mates, and to those booing me? Boo this!

Lucian proceeds to flip off the fans, which only makes the boos louder.

Lucian: Now, I could stand out here all bloody night and see who gets pissed off about it, but I'm not out here to waste too much of your otherwise worthless time, mates. Cirque du Sins has a chance to entice you all to embrace your inner sinner on our biggest stage yet, and we're doing it in bloody style to support our hottest act... and SCW's, am I right!?

That gets the crowd roaring again, and Lucian simply laughs off any boos that still cut through.

Lucian: Ladies and gentlemen, sinners of all bloody ages, Cirque du Sins is proud to officially welcome you all to Rise To GLIMMER as I am honored to introduce your NEXT goddamn SCW United States champions, a pair of tantalizing twins who proudly represent everything this nation was truly built on! Gia! Gina! The Glimmer Sisters!

Tongue Twister hits as the stage slowly lights up throughout the opening lyrics, revealing that the entire stage has now been occupied by what we can only assume are the members of the Cirque du Sins troupe as they put on a full-blown sexy circus routine that's toned down just enough to satisfy SCW's broadcast requirements, but is still more than enough to give you a good idea of what they're all about. High above the stage, twirling sparklers come to life to help draw attention to the massive neon sign that reads CIRQUE DU SINS PRESENTS: RISE TO GLIMMER that's been set up in front of the big screen. As the bass drops, we see two more spotlights, alternating between red, white and blue, flicker to life on the sides of the stage as two platforms lower on either side, revealing Gia & Gina Glimmer each taking a platform and essentially performing an erotic yet very acrobatic and flexible pole dance routine, working the hungry crowd into a frenzy with their sensual, seductive moves as their shake their tits and asses without a hint of shame. As the platforms fully lower, they both backflip off their poles and back handspring their way onto the stage, weaving their way through the crowd of their fellow sinful circus freaks and even taking a moment to get in on each act in the process, spicing it up just that little bit more. Eventually, they sashay their way to stand in front of their ringmaster, backs to the ring as they happily swing their hips into a booty bump before looking back and seductively smirking not only out at the fans, but also down at the ring. It's at this point we realize their attire for the night: skimpy bra-like tops that push up their breasts and expose a good amount of cleavage and booty shorts that may as well be thongs with how much the twins' thick cheeks devour them along with their usual boots and gloves, all effectively decorated in a chaotic swirl of red, white and blue sequins that shimmer and shine in the lighting.

As the Glimmers turn down to face the ring, Lucian can't resist cackling like the mad clown that he is and gives their asses firm good luck spanks, and this time, they let him, laughing that haughty laugh they know people hate as they begin to dance their way down to the ring, a perfect mirror of one another as their sensual motions hypnotize the audience. Even their interactions with fans in the front row along the way are in sync tonight, teasing removing their tops and flashing their respective sides of the crowd as they wink and nod in remembrance of the incident from last year and otherwise bending over enough to actually allow a few lucky fans, both male and female, to also give their ample asses good luck spanks. Once they reach ringside, they proceed to grab a ladder and set it up in front of the ring before climbing it on either side, making a very sensual show out of the way they lean on the ladder and hang from it while still flaunting the goods and winking to those watching at home who are getting the best angles of everything. They eventually blow kisses to the fans before leaping off the ladder, still perfectly in sync as they clear the top rope and roll upon landing before twisting into a pair of splits while being back-to-back as they look up and slowly reach up towards the title hanging over the ring. While still reaching for it, they slowly rise to a stand, pushing out their chests and pressing their butts together before their hands slowly lower to caress their curves from top to bottom. As their music fades and the Cirque du Sins ensemble take their seductive bows, Gia & Gina blow kisses up towards their circus family before moonwalking into a corner to stand together as they wait for the bell with a hungry look in their eyes.

 

Knots: Are we still on the air?

 

Sharper: An amazing display. Part show, part I m sure intimidation. How quickly can they be a difference maker in this one. And they ve vowed, they will together hold the US championship if they win.

 

Knots: Over Delatosso s dead body!

 

Fire shoots out from the stage and high into the air as Haunted by Taylor Swift starts to play.

The flames shoot up again before we see them go down as Marie Annabelle Jones stands in the stage. She looks around and the crowd gives a mixed reaction. A broad, somewhat condescending grin is on her face as she gaze out at the fans in the arena who cheer loudly. The Tron shows images of her striking at her opponents with her finishing and signature moves. Her nameplate comes up on the screen.

 

Phillips: Next, from Boston, Massachusetts, she is the Phoenix, Marie Jones!

 

Marie begins to make her way down towards the ring. As she gets closer to the floor, she stops to slap a few high fives with fans, recognizing them as they cheer her. Then her focus is solely on the ring and the determined stride with which she walks tells that story. Marie hops up onto the ring apron. She strikes a sultry and sexy pose for the audience. Marie turns and leaps over the top rope and into the ring.  She then hops up onto the second turnbuckle of the nearby corner and holds her arms up high into the air, getting a reaction from the crowd. 

 

Sharper: Marie Jones, by some estimations, could have a good claim to say she should ve been US Champion right now. She challenged Dexter Grant. Grant got himself disqualified when his camper was threatened.

 

Knots: Frankly, we should ve stripped him of the title!

 

Sharper: Either way, there s a chance for a corrective here. Not just for Meghan, but Marie. Some big motivations in this match.

 

All the lights in the arena immediately go out. After a moment, the entire stage comes to life as the entire video wall portrays one massive image that resembles a cyberpunk city, with the streets showing various people being arrested and otherwise attacked by officers who almost resemble the various followers of SCW CEO Frank Delatosso, all while the man himself can clearly be seen observing his kingdom from a particularly large and elaborate tower. Various video screens within this elaborate digital setting alternate between the SCW logo and messages meant to effectively brainwash and enforce compliance because it's what the machine commands. As if to go along with this, the lights from the video wall illuminate a massive SCW banner that suddenly drops from the ceiling and hangs over the stage.

As the fans begin to boo this sight, the video screens spewing propaganda within this digital image begin flickering, as if being hacked, ultimately being replaced by the familiar circle-backslash symbol with a wi-fi symbol behind the backslash and the words DISCONNECT TO RECONNECT written within the circle. It's at this point that Dystopia by Starset suddenly hits as Delatosso's followers begin to be overwhelmed by the people, and the digital re-creation of the CEO himself looks not over this scene, but almost out over the arena itself in fear as his city literally begins to start falling apart around him in the face of this rebellion. 11 seconds into the song, the music picks up and harmonized vocals from the band kick in, and as they do, a series of green spotlights converge onto the stage where fog has begun to consume it. We see a small army of people gathered on the stage, all wearing black shirts bearing the logo and holding pamphlets in their hands. A two-tiered raised platform is in the center of this crowd. Standing on the first step is not only Wendell, lacking his usual protest sign but wearing the same shirt as the crowd, but another woman unfamiliar to SCW audiences who's also wearing this shirt. On the main platform stands a familiar figure with his back to everyone, pointing his thumb to the DISCONNECT TO RECONNECT logo on the back of his vest. His platform slowly rotates around, revealing the glare of The Digital Detoxer Dexter Grant. Once he's been fully rotated around to face the ring, Dexter slowly takes a step down, taking the hand of the woman as the two of them and Wendell converse while stepping off the platform entirely and moving to stand in front of the small army amassed around them. As the song hits the aggressive first chorus, Dexter raises his fist high as he and everyone with him sing along.

Batten down the f**king hatches!
This is what you get when you still play with matches!
Now we go back to sticks, back to stones

Right back to the same old habits
Too bad, we almost had it!

As the chorus plays, an absolute eruption of fiery pyro detonates behind them, which not only cleanses the Delatosso digital dystopia on the video wall as the entire city is now engulfed in flames caused by the rebellion to reclaim and rebuild their city from the ashes, but the massive SCW banner that was hanging overhead also catches fire and falls from the rafters, left to burn in a heap on the stage. As the song continues, Dexter motions to the crowd, and his army of apparent followers suddenly scramble around him and leap into the crowd, where we also see many more emerging deeper in the audience as they all begin handing out pamphlets and preaching Dexter's ideology, with a surprising amount of people seemingly more interested than normal considering the fact that Dexter recently stood up for them regarding their ignored voices that created this mess in the first place.

Phillips: Being accompanied to the ring by Wendell, Sabrina Kincaid, and those he calls The Disconnected, from 'Off The Grid,' he is your reigning, defending, SCW United States champion, 'The Digital Detoxer' DEXTER GRANT!

With the stage engulfed in the flames that signify his rebellion and warning to those brainwashed by the social media machine, Dexter marches down the ramp, still holding the hand of the woman now identified as Sabrina Kincaid as Wendell walks beside them, all three of them conversing as the fans give Dexter a purely mixed reaction, probably the best reaction he's ever gotten from them. As the trio reach ringside, Dexter actually leans over and kisses Sabrina's cheek, to the surprise of everyone, before he exchanges a low-five with Wendell. At this point, he jumps up onto the apron and aggressively steps through the ropes, marching to the center of the ring with no fear for all the opponents surrounding him as he turns his back to the hard cam and once again points his thumb to the logo on the back of his vest, a white spotlight cutting through the dim lighting as if Dexter alone is the only person in this ring that matters right now. He slowly looks up to see the U.S. title hanging above the ring that's also in the spotlight, his expression neutral as he slowly removes his vest and tosses it out of the ring as the lights return to normal, and instead of going to grab a mic and give one of his usual spiels, instead Dexter just looks around at all of his challengers surrounding him, daring any of them to step up and try to stop his mission.

 

Knots: Who are these idiots? People actually believe in him now?

 

Sharper: Well he was voted the Star of Tomorrow. And by all accounts, legitimately. This episode may have led people to see he has a point.

 

Knots: He s not the Star of Tomorrow! That s Polly Playtime!

 

The bell sounds and immediately Oskar Theron runs at Meghan Strader who kicks him in the ribs and then turns and throws him through the ropes to the floor. Gia and Gina roll to the floor as Lawler runs at Meghan and nails her with a hard right, followed by another. Marie runs over to Dexter and grabs him and nails him with a hard right and then another before we see Gia and Gina Glimmer each grabbing a ladder from the ringside area and from opposite sides of the ring, sliding them into the ring. Marie notices this and quickly runs at Gia, we assume, and baseball slides the ladder into her ribs. Gia goes down as Gina slides in after her ladder. Marie gets up and Gina pulls her back by the hair. She then hits a kick to the ribs before hitting a spinning back kick to the ribs. Marie falls back. Lawler then whips Meghan out from the ropes and Meghan clotheslines Gina down. She stops and turns around and Lawler goes for a Blitz Kick, but Meghan ducks and steps forward. Lawler stops at the ropes and we see Dexter run at him and clothesline him up and over the top rope to the floor.

 

Sharper: And Lawler sent to the floor by Grant.

 

Knots: And look who is in there now. Meghan Strader. Dexter Grant. Public Enemies number one and two.

 

Sharper: To Delatosso and the New Order maybe. But both representing a resistance!

 

Knots: Well either way, Meghan Strader lost the title to Grant. And Grant knows it.

 

Sharper: And that match, and how he got it, he s got some evidence

 

Knots: Lies and slander, Sharper!

 

Grant then says something to Strader. Strader responds, shaking her head. Grant then steps up and nails her with a hard right. Strader fires back with a shot of her own. They trade blows in the ribs before Grant rakes the eyes. He runs into the ropes and then steps up for the Clickbait, but Strader ducks. Grant spins through and Strader kicks him in the ribs and pulls his head down for the My Friend of Misery. But before she can connect, we see Oskar entering the ring, grabbing the ladder Gina brought in and throws it at the back of Meghan. Meghan just collapses from the pain.

 

Sharper: And Oskar Theron, the ladder into the back of Strader.

 

Knots: Just a physical representation. Just take her out!

 

Grant looks up and Theron then runs at him and nails him with a hard right and then another. He then grabs Grant and hooks him up and hits a snap suplex onto the ladder. Grant rolls over in pain. Oskar gets up and Marie runs at him and nails him with a hard right and then another. Oskar elbows her in the jaw. He then runs into the ropes, bouncing off, but Marie runs past him. Oskar stops and turns only for Marie to springboard off the middle rope, backflipping into a reverse front face lock before then dropping Oskar with a reverse DDT. Marie turns and Gia slides the second ladder in. Marie then places her foot in the ladder and goes to slide it back out, but Gia moves out of the way this time. Marie then turns as Gina hits a kick to the ribs. Gia then jumps onto the apron and then jumps onto the ladder, causing it to teeter up and nail Marie in the face. The crowd ohs.

 

Sharper: And the Glimmers may have just eliminated a favourite. Marie Jones taking that ladder in the face!

 

Knots: And nowhere to go. Some free plastic surgery!

 

Gia smiles as she turns as Gina looks at her. Just then, we see Lawler grabbing Gina from behind and hitting a back suplex. Gia slides in after and Lawler gets up and Gia jumps up and forces him down with a standing seated senton, taking advantage of his imbalance as he gets up. She sits on his face for a moment before Lawler pushes her off. He gets up and Gia runs at him and presses her chest into his chest. Lawler staggers back into the corner. Gia keeps leaning in and then nails him with a couple of shots before Lawler throws her off. Gia rolls through and Lawler hits a running kick, a variation of a Blitz Kick. The crowd ohs. Lawler staggers and turns into Grant who hoists him up and hits an inverted atomic drop. He then hits the Clickbait. The crowd ohs. Grant looks around and grabs one of the ladders before hoisting it up. He opens it up and then looks around and starts to climb up the ladder. The crowd roars as we then see Meghan re-enter and run over and push the ladder over. Grant jumps off, landing on his feet. He then nails Meghan with a hard right, and Meghan fires back. They trade blows. Just then, Gina climbs up to the top rope and hits a moonsault onto both. The crowd ohs. Gina smirks and gets up and we see Oskar Theron grabbing the already set up ladder and swinging it up and into the back of Gina. Gina goes down. The crowd ohs.

 

Sharper: And Oskar again after Gina takes down Strader and Grant!

 

Knots: They can look good doing it. But what matters is climbing that ladder. And Oskar Theron is about to do that. About to get out of the shadow of everyone else in the EFN!

 

Oskar Theron looks at the ladder. The crowd boos as he starts to climb up the ladder. He climbs up rung by rung before reaching up at the US Championship hanging over the ring. He touches it and the boos only grow before we see Meghan Strader standing by the ladder. She then pushes it over and Oskar falls off the ladder, landing stomach first on the top rope and flipping over to the floor. The crowd ohs. Meghan smirks as she then pulls the ladder back up, but Grant gets up and nails her with a hard right and then another. He then grabs her and runs her face first into the ladder that s been set up. She staggers back and Dexter clotheslines her up and over the top rope to the floor. Dexter turns around and Marie grabs the second ladder and just throws it at Grant. Grant falls over as the crowd ohs. Marie staggers as we see a cut on her forehead from the shot she took earlier.

 

Sharper: And Marie getting back up. The ladder used as a weapon again.

 

Knots: And she s already facing part of the reality. She s cut.

 

Sharper: Right on the forehead. Could be so much worse.

 

Marie then looks around and grabs the ladder she threw at Dexter and lifts it up. She then places the ladder end between the rungs of the standing ladder and drapes it over the ropes, causing it to act as a platform. She turns and grabs Dexter and pulls him up and just runs him chest first into the ladder. The crowd ohs. Marie turns around and then climbs up onto the ropes and then the ladder, but at this point, the Glimmers enter, together, and one kicks Marie in the ribs, while the other catches her in the head with a kick. Marie goes down. Marie rolls under the ladder and Gia and Gina run into the ropes, slide under the ladder and then pop up and grab Marie with a double reverse STO. The crowd ohs. Gia and Gina smirk. We then see Lawler pulling out a ladder and places it between the ring apron and then barricade. The crowd roars as Gia and Gina talk before they roll to the floor. Oskar starts to get up and Gina, we assume, helps him up. Gia then smiles before both kick him between the legs. The crowd ohs as Oskar drops to the mats.

 

Knots: What the heck! That s not okay!

 

Sharper: Some people would pay money for that-

 

Knots: Hey!

 

Sharper: The Glimmers have something in mind here.

 

Gia and Gina each walk over to a ladder. They then drag them to the ring, as we cut back, and we see Lawler now in the ring and he nails Grant with a throat thrust, knocking him down. He then turns to Strader and kicks her in the ribs. He whips her across the ring and then goes for a clothesline, dropping her down. She rolls over and starts to get up and Lawler boots her in the jaw. She falls through the ropes to the apron. She starts to get up, right by the ladder Lawler placed between the apron and the barricade, but Grant rakes his eyes. Lawler turns around and Meghan shoulders him in the ribs. She drags Lawler through the ropes before then nails him with a hard right and then another and another before Marie Jones runs across the ring and jumps up, crossbodying Lawler and driving him back through the ladder, causing it to bend in the middle. The crowd erupts. Grant then starts to climb up the ladder right over the ladder platform Marie created.

 

Sharper: Marie takes out Lawler!

 

Knots: What are you doing? He could help you! You re on his side-

 

Sharper: I don t know about that, Jon. Marie s on her side. And she wants to be champion.

 

Strader turns and enters the ring. She then starts to climb up the ladder on the other side. Grant gets to the top of the ladder and grabs at the title. Strader then nails him with a hard right to the ribs. Grant bends over. Strader climbs up and clubs him in the back once and then again before Grant nails her with a shot. Gia and Gina bring their ladders back before they see what is happening. Grant goes for a shot, but Meghan forearms him and then nails him with a hard right. Grant falls back onto the ladder acting as a platform. Gina and Gia watch one another. Gia then jumps to the middle rope and dives forward and hits a springboard swanton onto Grant on the ladder. The crowd ohs. Strader reaches up for the title, but Gina springboards off the top rope and twists around, grabbing her and dropping her with a sunset flip bomb. The crowd ohs. Marie then winces and slides in.

 

Sharper: Swanton to Grant! Powerbomb to Strader! The Glimmers working together!

 

Knots: Use numbers Marie! Come on!

 

Marie then nails Gina with a shot, knocking her down. Gia winces as Marie grabs one of the ladders the Glimmers brought in and lifts it up, setting it up a foot from the corner. Marie then grabs Gina and runs her face first into the ladder. We then see Oskar Theron entering the ring as Gia then climbs onto the ladder platform, and then dives at Theron, but Theron jumps up and hits a spinning heel kick, knocking her down. The crowd ohs. Gina drops to the mat. Marie then climbs up about halfway up the ladder. She looks down at Gina and then dives off with a guillotine leg drop. The crowd ohs. Theron then runs at the ladder platform and jumps up, pressing off it with a corkscrew moonsault onto Gia. The crowd ohs.

 

Sharper: First Marie, then Oskar! And the athleticism on display.

 

Knots: And most importantly takes down the Glimmers. And look who is left! Marie and Oskar! Come on! Get it done!

 

Marie looks across at Oskar as Oskar then grabs the other ladder the Glimmers brought to the ring and sets it up before looking around and Marie starts to climb up the ladder. The crowd roars as Oskar then scrambles up the ladder he just set up and then starts to climb up. Marie grabs at the US Title and taps it before Oskar nails her with a shot. Marie nearly falls off but holds on. Oskar tries to grab at it, but Marie nails him with a shot. Marie nails him again and then we see Lawler back in the ring and he steps up and just pushes over the two ladders with Oskar and Marie. Marie falls off and into the ropes and rolls to the floor as Oskar falls down to the mat and then rolls to the floor. Lawler falls to his knees.

 

Knots: Lawler! Oh no!

 

Sharper: Every person for themselves and Lawler coming up from the battered ladder and just moving all of the steel and Marie and Theron landing bad!

 

Lawler starts to get up and he looks around and pulls the ladder used as a platform and pushes it to the floor before grabbing some of the unfolded ladders and just pulling them back up to be standing, leaving some four ladders all set up in the ring. Ladder looks around as Grant then gets up and Lawler hoists him up onto his shoulders. He then looks as the crowd roars, but he then turns and presses Grant up and hits the Fury Suplex into Strader as she gets up. Strader rolls to the floor. Lawler then stomps at Grant and Grant rolls to the apron. As this happens, we see Gia and Gina both climbing up to the apron. They stand on opposite sides of the ring. They then climb up to the top rope. Gia jumps to a nearby ladder. Gina does the same. They both ably steady themselves before pushing themselves up to the very peak of each ladder. Then, using their acrobatic abilities and grace, they start to walk across the ladders and meet in the middle, grabbing each other before going to grab at the title together. Lawler turns and sees this and steps forward, again, pushing both back, but Gia and Gina both jump down, in opposite directions, landing on the middle rope and then gracefully landing on the mat. Lawler looks around and turns to attack one of the Glimmers, but they hit the Mirror Routine, dropping Lawler. Gia and Gina stand over him and smile.

 

Sharper: And Lawler tried to take out both Glimmers, but the agility, the grace The Mirror Routine!

 

Knots: Oh stop it! They they I don t even know!

 

Sharper: They dropped Chris Lawler after nearly getting to the title in a remarkable feat of agility and balance.

 

Gina and Gia then turn as Grant gets up and they run over to him and nail him with double forearms. He drops down to the floor. Oskar and Marie enter and Gia runs at Oskar and then Gina runs over to Marie. At least we assume that s which Glimmer did what. Gina and Gia both pummel their selected opponent before we see Meghan Strader slide into the ring, brandishing a steel chair. She gets up and turns and slams the chair into the back of Gina and then turns and drives the back of the chair, spearing it into the head of Marie. She turns and then ducks a spin kick from Gia before turning and throwing the chair at her head. Gia drops to the mat. Oskar then steps up, but Meghan grabs him by the chest and then drops him with the Blackened. The crowd ohs. Oskar rolls over. Meghan sits up and looks around. The crowd cheers her as she gets up and looks up at the US title.

 

Sharper: Meghan Strader has had enough! A chair to clear the ring and then the Blackened on Oskar Theron!

 

Knots: Don t tell me that she s going to get the title back! That would be a travesty!

 

Meghan then turns and grabs one of the ladders knocked over and folds it up before turning to another ladder and moving it out of the way. She turns back to the now folded up ladder she first grabbed before turning around, but Dexter Grant enters and hits the Unwanted Notification into the ladder, driving it back into Meghan Strader s face. The crowd ohs.

 

Sharper: An Unwanted Notification indeed. Just right back into the ladder. That kick, knocking down Strader.

 

Knots: I didn t think I d ever say this, but thank you Grant. Now just roll out of the ring. You don t want the viral moment!

 

Grant looks around and then grabs the folded ladder and lifts it up, unfolding it and placing it in the middle of the ring. Grant then looks up and starts to slowly climb up the rungs, but then we see Chris Lawler run over and jump up and hit a flying clothesline, knocking him off. The crowd ohs. Lawler looks around as Oskar rolls to the apron. Gia and Gina stir as Meghan then moves to the ropes. Lawler then runs over and stomps Gia and then nails Gina with a shot before turning to Meghan. He pulls her up and nails her with a hard right. Meghan falls to the ropes. Lawler nails her again and then again before Lawler backs up and runs at her, but Meghan backdrops him over the top rope to the floor. Meghan leans on the ropes and then sees the ladder. She starts to climb up to the top. Slowly, she ascends, rung by rung. As she gets about halfway up, Gia and Gina run over and both grab Meghan s legs and pull her through the opening in the ladder, but the ladder then twists and falls to the mat. Meghan yells out and rolls over, kicking at the ladder. Gia and Gina then grab the ladder and set it back up. They climb up on either side.

 

Sharper: Meghan Strader went down and awkwardly. She s in pain!

 

Knots: Oh no these two are going to do it. The Glimmers are going to do it. They ll try to be dual champions!

 

Meghan slides to the corner, a crew member checking on her, as Gina and Gia scale the ladder on opposite sides, climbing to the top. The crowd roars seeing them as they get to the top, but just then Marie recovers and runs over and pushes the ladder over. Gia and Gina go over the top rope, Gia landing on Oskar, Gina on Lawler and the crowd erupts. Marie then looks at them before looking at the ladder. She pulls it back up and sets it up. Marie scrambles before starting to climb up the ladder. The crowd cheers for Marie as she goes up rung by rung. She gets to the top and touches the US Championship. She then reaches up and tries to pull down the title, but Grant then steps up and grabs the ladder. Marie looks down at him before then down at the floor. Grant shoves the ladder over. Marie flips off and onto the Glimmers, Lawler and Theron on the floor!

 

Sharper: Oh no! Marie! She had the title. She had it. Grant knocked over the ladder and down on everyone!

 

Knots: All the way to the floor!

 

Sharper: And Grant now alone. Meghan Strader is in the ring, but she s clearly hurt!

 

Grant pulls the ladder back up and then looks up before starting to climb up the ladder. The crowd looks on, cheering more and more as he gets to the top. Dexter looks around and then reaches up, grabbing the US Title and unclipping it. He then pulls it down as the crowd roars. The bell sounds.

 

Phillips: Here is your winner and STILL SCW United States Champion, Dexter Grant!

 

Grant drops down and lands on the mat. He looks around as Wendell climbs up onto the apron and checks on him. Grant nods.

 

Sharper: And Grant takes down the title. Again, he s a amazing competitor.

 

Knots: He better hold onto it. He s make some stupid enemies!

 

Sharper: And I feel for Marie, for Meghan .Meghan injured. Marie so close.

 

Grant rolls over as we see Meghan helped onto the apron. We see Mackenzie Strader back, joined by Tearra Skye. Meghan looks down and looks back before sighing. Mackenzie and Tearra then help Meghan out, allowing her to put her weight on them. They start to help her to the back as Grant gets up, holding the title at his side, watching her. Marie Jones watches Meghan and then turns to the ring as she gets up. Gia and Gina are in a heap in the corner, looking out, gears turning. Grant continues to stand in the ring looking around.

 

We cut to ringside where we see Adam Sharper and Jonathan Knots at the English announce position.

 

Sharper: Welcome now to ringside. What a start. A chaotic match. Seven individuals who left it all in the ring. That s what SCW is about. Meanwhile, I m Adam Sharper here alongside Jonathan Knots. We re thrilled to be here for the twenty-third edition of Rise to Greatness.

 

Knots: And a night where we ll see the Frost family collapse in every way possible. It s going to be great.

 

Sharper: Amelia Nevado to defend her title against Deanna Frost. Selena Frost, if she survives Ryan Lecavalier, would be the special enforcer. And then so much more. Syren to face Bree Lancaster; Shaun Cruze to face Alistaire Allocco. And more. But for now, let s introduce our Spanish colleagues Carlos Perez and Miguelito Hernandez!

 

The camera slides down to show Perez and Hernandez.

The scene cuts back to the ring.

 

 

The stadium lights abruptly plunge into a stark, cold darkness, and the crowd begins to buzz as the melancholic, clean guitar intro of Tears Don't Fall by Bullet For My Valentine echoes through the sound system. On the jumbo tron, a minimalist, aggressive new graphic replaces her old imagery: a pitch-black background violently cracks open with a spraypainted wall and the letters KS1 illuminating the arena.

As the whispered vocals drift over the speakers, a dim red spotlight cuts through the heavy fog rolling across the entry stage. A suffocating layer of tension builds as the drum roll hits its peak, and the music suddenly drops into a split second of absolute, dead silence.

LET S GO!

Exactly on the word "GO!", a blinding wall of white-hot stage pyro and deafening concussion mortars blast upward from the stage floor while the arena lights erupt into a frantic, strobe-heavy crimson and white. As the smoke clears, Kirsten Scott and Hailey Brooks are revealed standing side-by-side at the top of the ramp, their wrists heavily wrapped in thick, black tactical tape. The nameplate comes up.

 

Phillips: The following contest is scheduled for onefall and is for the number one contendership of the SCW Adrenaline Championship! First, on her way to the ring, accompanied by Hailey, from your own personal nightmare, she is the One, Kirsten Scott!

Hailey looks intense and protective as the ultimate shield, while Kirsten embodies the apex-predator threat assessment of "The One," her head tilted at a cold, analytical angle and her eyes locked onto the ring. Without waiting or playing to the crowd, they march down the ramp together with a fast, mechanical purpose to the driving heavy metal rhythm.

Hailey stays half a step behind Kirsten's flank, scanning the ringside area as they bypass the perimeter completely. Kirsten grabs the apron and aggressively pulls herself through the middle ropes, while Hailey slides under the bottom rope to instantly claim their corner.

Stepping to the center of the ring, Kirsten turns to the hard camera, slowly raising her right hand with her fist clenched tight before violently snapping it down into a low, coiled, feral fighting stance just as the song hits its driving chorus. Hailey steps onto the bottom rope, leaning over the turnbuckle to glare down the ramp, while Kirsten breaks her stance to pace the canvas like a caged animal, breathing in shallow, controlled bursts as she awaits the opening bell.

 

Sharper: Kirsten Scott, hoping tonight goes a bit better than last night. A hard fought match against the Vision. Scarlett Carsons and Scott unable to fully counter the teamwork of the Vision. Helped in part by Scott dealing with Dawn Lohan who interfered!

 

Knots: She s going to be going to home disappointed. This is the coronation of Dawn Lohan. She better get used to it. This isn t her night. Her weekend. At all! She can wait!

 

The lights dim before we see a golden hue come over the stage. Emptiness Machine by Linkin Park starts to play throughout Ford Field. A few moments pass before Dawn Lohan walks out from the back, wearing a large robe. She looks at the crowd and spins around the stage as golden sparks fall down behind her. Her nameplate comes up.

 

Phillips: Her opponent, from San Diego, California, she is Dawn Lohan!

 

She then starts to walk down to the ring. The cameras follow her as she makes her entrance. Cameras cut to the ring to show Kirsten Scott waiting for her. Dawn Lohan walks down the rampway to the floor. She then walks over to the steel steps and then steps up them and along the apron. She then slides off her robe before grabbing the top rope and slingshotting herself into the ring. She then goes to the corner and climbs up to the middle turnbuckle. She looks around before then hopping down. She turns around as the music fades out.

 

Sharper: Dawn Lohan is confident. You can see it in her eyes.

 

Knots: She should have already been challenging for the title. Getting that next shot against Deanna Frost.

 

Sharper: She did a few weeks ago, feel short, and since then, her and Polly Playtime haven t been on the same page. We thought they may fight one another, but Playtime injured. And CHBK named Kirsten Scott into this match to avoid Dawn Lohan being announced as the next contender.

 

The bell sounds as Kirsten Scott looks at Dawn. She then throws a kick at the head of Dawn, but Dawn jukes back. She spins around as the crowd ohs as Dawn and Scott then lock up in the middle of the ring. Quickly Kirsten moves into a side headlock. She takes Dawn over with a headlock takedown. Dawn counters with a headscissors and Scott nips out. Both get up again and then circle. They lock up again and this time, Kirsten moves into an arm wrench. Dawn winces and reaches up and rolls forward and nips up and then wrenches Kirsten s arm. Kirsten falls briefly to a knee before getting up and pushing up on the arm of Dawn. She pushes her into the ropes and then steps back and places her boot on the thigh of Dawn, throwing her over head and Dawn rolls through.

 

Sharper: And Scott with a quick throw. Dawn rolling through. And there s a bit of a feeling out process here.

 

Knots: Yeah. This should be Dawn challenging Deanna. But Deanna is too focused on the World Title.

 

Sharper: Take up your issue with CHBK. Deanna focusing on the World Title because CHBK made that call.

 

Dawn gets up and Scott sweeps out her leg and hits a quick elbow drop. She goes for the pin.

Dawn kicks out. Both get up and Scott snaps her over and locks in a reverse chinlock. Dawn reaches around and pulls on the hair before sliding out and pushing Scott to the mat. She then pulls up on the arm and knees Scott in the back. She then grabs the arm and locks in a hammerlock. Scott starts to fight up to her feet and undoes the hold. Dawn keeps the arm wrench and Scott somersaults forward and turns and flips up before countering with an arm wrench. Dawn winces and falls back and nips up. Scott knees elbows her. Dawn falls back. Scott goes for a spin kick to the head, but Dawn ducks and runs into the ropes. Scott goes for a clothesline, but Dawn jumps to the middle rope. She goes for a moonsault. Scott sidesteps and Dawn lands on her feet. Scott runs into the ropes. Dawn gets up and goes for a back drop. Scott spins through and lands on her feet. They turn to each other. Dawn goes for a spinning heel kick, while Scott goes for a dropkick. Both miss and then both nip up and look at one another as the crowd roars.

 

Sharper: And both great athletes. You can disagree with their tactics, but their skill is top notch.

 

Knots: Dawn s just getting Scott to feel comfortable. To get her to maybe let that guard down.

 

They watch one another as the crowd continues to respond. They then start to slowly walk around the ring again. Dawn then goes for a front kick, but feigns it, pulling it back before kicking Scott in the thigh and then hitting a kick to the ribs. She then forearms Scott. Scott ends up in the corner. Dawn then kicks her in the ribs before hitting another shoot kick and then another before jumping up with a straight kick to the jaw. Scott falls to a knee. The crowd ohs. Dawn grabs her and drives her face first into the top turnbuckle. She then forearms her again and again before going to whip her across the ring. Scott spins through and sends Dawn in. Dawn hits the corner. Scott runs after, but Dawn lowers her head and goes for the back drop. Scott spins through to the apron and Dawn jumps to the middle rope and hits a springboard dropkick, knocking Scott to the floor.

 

Sharper: And Lohan! The dropkick! Scott to the floor! And remember, Adrenaline rules. So no countouts.

 

Knots: That s why you gotta stay on her. Dawn knows this. Just a pure veteran!

 

Dawn gets up as Scott slowly stirs on the floor. She then starts to get up, wincing in pain before Dawn grabs the top rope and then vaults herself over and onto Scott with a somersault plancha. The crowd ohs. Dawn falls to the floor. Dawn turns and grabs Scott, pulling her up and driving her into the barricade. She then rolls her into the ring. Dawn slides in after. Scott gets up and Dawn forearms her in the jaw once and then again. She then whips Scott into the ropes. Scott bounces off and Dawn hits a spinning heel kick to the jaw. Scott hits the mat. She turns and gets up and Dawn then lifts Scott up and just lets her fall with a flapjack. Scott rolls over in pain, moving to the ropes. Dawn follows up and kicks her in the back. Scott winces in pain.

 

Sharper: And remember, Scott competed last night-

 

Knots: Already with the excuses, huh Sharper?

 

Sharper: Just pointing that out. Scott has had a busy weekend.

 

Dawn kicks her again in the back before pulling her up. She then whips Scott into the ropes. Scott bounces off and Dawn hits a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. The crowd ohs. Dawn goes for the pin.

Scott kicks out. Dawn looks at Scott as Scott holds her back and starts to get up and Dawn scoops her up and hits a ribbreaker. She tosses Scott down before moving to the corner. She then climbs up to the top rope. She looks at Scott and then dives off with a rounding splash, connecting! The crowd ohs. Dawn hooks the leg.

Scott gets her shoulder up again. Dawn rolls off. She then gets up and kicks Scott in the back again and then again. Scott rolls over and Dawn runs into the ropes. She bounces off and Scott suddenly gets up and drills her with a discus clothesline. The crowd roars.

 

Sharper: You could see it on the face! Scott was getting annoyed by those shots! And she just damn near took Dawn s head off!

 

Knots: Now she s angry. She ll make mistakes!

 

Sharper: I don t know about that Jon.

 

Dawn gets up and Scott kicks her in the ribs and hooks her up and hits a falcon arrow into a pin.

Dawn kicks out. Both get up and Scott hooks her up and hits a release fisherman s suplex. She then rolls over into a pin.

Dawn kicks out. Dawn rolls over and Scott then grabs her and drives her elbow into the top of her head. She nails her again and again before Dawn pulls away. Both get up and Scott kicks Dawn in the ribs. She hooks her up for a vertical suplex, but as she hoists her up, but Dawn counters with an inside cradle!

Scott kicks out. Both get up and Dawn lunges, but Scott hits a hard right. Dawn staggers to the ropes. Scott runs at Dawn and Dawn hits a back elbow. Scott falls to a knee and Dawn hits the Through the Looking Glass. The crowd ohs. Dawn goes for the pin.

Scott gets her shoulder up.

 

Sharper: And Lohan looked to end it there. But Scott found a way to get that shoulder up.

 

Knots: Scott was looking through the looking glass and didn t like what she saw!

 

Scott then rolls over and starts to get up only for Dawn to grab her and throw her through the ropes to the floor. Scott spins around and moves back to the ring. Dawn runs over and hits a baseball slide. Scott falls back. Dawn then gets up and grabs the top rope. Scott gets back up and Dawn goes for a vaulting press. Scott moves out of the way. Dawn lands on her feet and Scott nails her with a hard right. She then grabs Dawn and runs her into the barricade. Dawn flips upside down and into a heap as Scott walks around the ring. Dawn starts to get up and Scott grabs her and hoists her up and hits a falcon arrow on the mats. The crowd ohs. Scott rolls back and looks around. Dawn grimaces in pain.

 

Knots: Hey! That s not okay! That s not the point of no countouts!

 

Sharper: But it is Scott s killer instinct! Saw an opportunity and took it!

 

Scott then gets up and grabs Dawn and drags her up and rolls her into the ring. Scott slides into the ring. Dawn rolls over and gets up and Scott hits the ropes and hits a running roundhouse crescent kick to the head of Dawn. Dawn hits the mat and rolls through. Scott then bends her over and hoists her up and hits a running sitout powerbomb! The crowd ohs.

Dawn kicks out. Dawn rolls over as Scott grabs her and pulls her up, but Dawn counters with a hot shot. Scott s throat hits the top rope. She falls back. Dawn moves to the apron and then springboards to the top rope and hits the Breaking Dawn. She hooks the leg.

 

Knots: That s it! Breaking Dawn! That s gotta be it!

 

Sharper: Cover from Lohan!

Scott shoots her shoulder up. Dawn rolls off. She looks around as Scott rolls over. Dawn grabs her and wrenches the arm and hits a shoot kick to the ribs and then another to the thigh before going for one to the head, but Scott ducks and then hooks Dawn up and hits a snap dragon suplex. The crowd ohs. Dawn rolls through to her knees and Scott runs into the ropes, bouncing off and hitting the Hidden Blade to the back of Dawn s head!

 

Sharper: Hidden Blade! Dawn down!

 

Knots: Get to the ropes! Just get there!

 

Dawn rolls over and stirs as Scott then looks at her. Dawn rolls to her knees and gets up and Scott runs into the ropes and hits a second Hidden Blade. The crowd ohs. Dawn drops again. Scott then crawls over to the ropes. Dawn starts to get up, fighting up to her feet and looks up as Scott then hits the System Failure! Dawn falls back. Scott goes for the pin, hooking the leg.

 

Sharper: System Failure! Right on the butt of the jaw!

The crowd roars as the bell sounds. Scott rolls off.

Scott gets up and looks around and smiles. She then gets up and has her arm raised.

 

Sharper: Kirsten Scott returns at Taking Hold of the Flame and now, just about two months later, is back in title contention.

 

Knots: Should ve been Dawn should ve been Polly Playtime!

 

Sharper: They can take that up with her then!

 

Scott stands in the ring and nods as Hailey applauds her. Dawn remains down in the ring, wincing in pain as Scott plays to the crowd.

 

We open up backstage as we see Deanna Frost watching in her dressing room. She then leans back and looks over to her side and the SCW Adrenaline Championship next to her. The SCW World Tag Team Championship also sits next to her too. She then looks forward as we then see La Pequena Luz in the background watching her before then walking over to her.

 

Luz: Looks like a lots on your mind.

 

Deanna: Plenty although shouldn t you be with Amelia.

 

Luz: She s currently focusing on her match, against you.

 

Deanna: Then your match .

 

Luz: True but you re also a friend. And we ve been through a lot. And tonight

 

Deanna: Will we still have that all tonight? Will Amelia if .

 

Luz: Deanna I have every hope that Amelia is going to give you the fight you want and deserve. I know you ll do the same for her. If that all happens, there may be hurt feelings, sadness, disappointment, on your side or hers .but if my hope is true, it will be worth it. Either Amelia gets that win I know she s wanted and I hope how she should get it .or you make history as a triple champion. Something even Selena didn t do.

 

Deanna: Yeah Selena

 

Luz: Still doubting her.

 

Deanna: I don t know. Just like you and Amelia still some doubt. How much has it, we ll call it it how much has it taken her away from me just like Amelia with you and

 

Luz: If need be, I ll make sure that if you and Amelia are going to have the classic we know you can it will be that classic. And if I have to do something to step in I will.

 

Luz nods and walks off as Deanna sighs and leans forward, looking down at the floor as the scene cuts away.

 

 

Hero by Skillet plays as the crowd roars. A few moments pass before Simon Lyman walks out from the back, dressed in his wrestling robe. He stands on the stage, arms outstretched. He plays to the crowd as they greet him with cheers.

 

Phillips: The following contest is a fatal fourway match, scheduled for onefall with a thirty minute time limit. First, on his way to the ring, from Columbus, Ohio, he is Simply Sensational, Simon Lyman!

 

The crowd cheers as his nameplate comes up on the screen. Simon Lyman then starts to walk down to the ring. He talks to the crowd as he does, enjoying his march to the ring. After he gets to the end of the ramp, he walks over to the steel steps before then walking up the steel steps and then steps into the ring. He steps forward, arms outstretched before spinning around briefly. He then looks around before then taking off his robe. He drops it over the top rope and into the waiting arms of a ring crew member. He then walks around the ring, before going to the ropes, stretching out.

 

Sharper: This may very well be the final time Simon Lyman makes his entrance at Rise to Greatness. But he s hoping to do it and leave a lasting moment, and one that will impact a few people and teach a lesson in the process.

 

Knots: Or has he bit off more than he can chew. There sometimes isn t honour among thieves. David Belmont isn t here to take prisoners. And then add the youth, the desire of Marquis Dawson, or Xavier Holloway. Lyman could be up against it!

 

The lights go out. Two beaming lights at the top of the ramp makes an 'X' with a shadowy figure standing in the middle, pointing up in the air with his hands together. The opening rift of Kickboxer by The Amity Affliction begins to play throughout the stadium, and the lights turn back on and that shadowy figure turns out to be Xavier Holloway. The fans in the arena start to cheer as he lets down his hands, standing confident with a white towel slung around his neck. Before coming down the ramp he nods his head and then starts running down the ramp. The nameplate comes up on the screen.

Phillips: From Salem, Massachusetts, he is the Young Gun, Xavier Holloway!

Xavier slides in the ring and runs right to the turnbuckles and jumps up to the middle rope. He points out to the fans and then lifts up his arms and points up in the air again with both his hands together. He does a backflip off the middle rope and lands on his feet, then starts running the ropes a couple times and stops by going chest first in the ropes and tosses the towel that was around his neck into the crowd.

 

Sharper: While Simon is making his potential last appearance, the other three making their first. And Holloway, a bundle of energy here. Can he keep that going to lead to a win?

 

Knots: Take a deep breath and make sure you re ready. Big stage, young man!

 

The lights in Ford Field suddenly go out as numerous fans turn on their cell phone lights which slowly start to appear like fireflies in the darkness as the video wall lights up with a dark banner as the opening instrumentals of Damn Nation's cover of Metallica's "King Nothing" begins to play as the video wall lights up with the banner of the Mavericks as Ryo Ashihara comes walking out onto the entrance way, carrying the flag of the Mavericks which he waves as the man himself, David Belmont slowly walks out onto the stage with the towering figure of "Godzilla" Eric Gibson following him out, hoisting David's half of the ECWF Lucha World Tag Team championship high over his bearded head with the Rabbit following him in his wake.

 

Phillips: And introducing next, he represents both the Extreme Championship Wrestling Federation and the Mavericks, he is being escorted to the ring by Ryo Ashihara, "Godzilla" Eric Gibson, and the Rabbit...from South Town Florida, he is David Belmont!

The foursome slowly make their way down to the ring. The crowd looks on as Simon glares at Belmont and Holloway looks on. Ryo holds the flag high above his head with a look of grim determination as he walks around the ring.

David stands in front of the ring, comes to attention with his hands at the small of his back as a grim smile crosses his face. Belmont removes his ring vest and then quickly enters the ring.

 

Sharper: This man has shown a willingness to do whatever he wants. And he s gone after everyone in this match. They re all go after him.

 

Knots: Everyone s got a target here. Belmont s just been more direct. And frankly, I ll be okay if he takes a few hard shots. Don t you dare mention that stupid Rabbit!

 

The cameras turn to the big screens on the stage.

DNA by Kendrick Lamar begins to play as Pookie Williams steps out on the stage in his black adidas track suit as hypes up Marquis Dawson by yelling idle warnings at everyone. Marquis Dawson finally strolls out in a black Mink fur Vest and black leather pants and some old school Jordans. The crowd cheers as he stops slowly pans around the crow before flashing his bright white veneers. He nods his head feeling himself in the moment. His nameplate comes up on the screen.

 

Phillips: And finally, from Chicago, Illinois, accompanied by Pookie Willams, he is Marquis Dawson!

 

He then begins to strut toward the ring. He looks around to the crowd mouthing it is bout time to stack dem bands before jumping up on the apron, dusting off his Jordans and flipping over the top rope. He poses for a moment with his arms thrown outward before shimmying the mink fur vest off and handing it to Pookie Williams as he heads over to the corner. He then looks across as Belmont looks back at him.

 

Sharper: And this may be the man to watch. Marquis Dawson has been on a tear and he s been unapologetic that he s going to the top.

 

Knots: But he s made some early enemies. Namely David Belmont. But Holloway too. He s gotten int the face Lyman. Soren Cross would ve been here but he s injured. But he s not backing down!

 

The bell sounds as Belmont turns and runs over and cuffs Simon in the side of the head. Simon goes down to a knee before Belmont spins him around and dumps him through the ropes and to the floor. Marquis Dawson then kicks Xavier Holloway and turns and throws him out of the ring. The crowd roars as Dawson looks at Belmont. Belmont just shakes his head and steps up as Marquis just looks at him and smacks him. The crowd ohs.

 

Marquis: You think you re something. Come on, face to face. You know you re my bitch!

 

Belmont then nods before just spearing Marquis down. He moves into a side mount and nails him with a couple of hard rights before Marquis pushes him off. Both get up and Belmont nails him with a hard right and Marquis fires back. They trade blows, going back and forth before Marquis gets the advantage and nails Belmont in the jaw again and again. He then goes to whip him across the ring. Belmont hits the opposite side and Marquis goes for a clothesline. Belmont ducks, stops, and turns before just drilling Dawson with a hard shotei. Marquis staggers and Belmont hits a hard chop to the chest. The crowd woos. He then chops him in the forehead and Marquis drops. Belmont then turns around and Simon runs at him and clotheslines him down.

 

Sharper: And Belmont gets the better of the first volley after Marquis Dawson punked him out.

 

Knots: But there s more than just them. Here comes Lyman. Here comes Holloway!

 

Holloway slides in as Belmont gets up and Lyman nails him with a hard right and then fires him across the ring. Belmont bounces off and Lyman hits a spinning spinebuster. He rolls off as Marquis gets up and Holloway hits a couple of hard right hands on him. He then jumps up and hits a jumping enziguri kick to the head of Marquis. Marquis hits the mat. Holloway gets up and runs at Lyman. He throws a hard right, but Lyman blocks it and nails him with a hard right of his own. He then spins him around into the corner. Lyman then hits a knee to the ribs and then another and another. He whips him across the ring. Lyman runs after. Holloway floats up and over him and backs up. Lyman stops at the corner and runs at Holloway, who hits a dropkick. Lyman falls to the mat. Holloway goes for the pin.

Lyman kicks out. Holloway rolls off and then gets up and turns as Belmont ducks under his arm and then steps forward and locks in a bulldog choke. He then drops down to his knees and just calmly looks down at him as Holloway struggles.

 

Knots: Belmont is choking Holloway out! Just openly choking him out.

 

Sharper: With that damn bulldog choke!

 

Belmont just looks down as Holloway starts to fade before Marquis Dawson steps up and hits a running knee thrust to the jaw of Belmont. Belmont lets go and drops to the mat. Dawson goes for the pin.

Belmont gets his shoulder up. Holloway rolls over to the ropes. Dawson then gets up and stomps Belmont in the chest once and then again before turning and grabbing Lyman and kneeing him in the ribs. Dawson then turns, scooping him up and slamming him down. He then sees Belmont and boots him in the face. Belmont falls to the apron. Dawson turns around and goes to Lyman who suddenly hits a dropkick.

 

Sharper: Dawson knocked down. Just have to keep your head on a swivel in this one.

 

Knots: And everyone wants to take your head off. Just keep spinning and ducking!

 

Dawson gets up and turns and Lyman scoops him up and then grits his teeth and hits a fallaway slam. The crowd ohs. Lyman turns and goes for the pin.

Dawson kicks out. Lyman looks up and turns as Belmont then steps in and catches him with a running clothesline. Lyman hits the mat. He rolls over and Belmont stomps him in the face and then again before Holloway springboards to the top rope and hits a twisting crossbody into Belmont. The crowd ohs. Holloway gets up and stomps him in the face. Dawson stirs as does Lyman. Holloway nails Lyman with a hard right, knocking him back down before turning and nailing Marquis with a hard right and then another. He then boots him in the ribs and Marquis falls through the ropes to the floor. Holloway looks around and runs across the ring. He bounces off, but just then, Belmont steps up and hoists Holloway onto his shoulders and drives him down with a snap death valley driver!

 

Knots: Thanks for coming kid!

 

Sharper: Just using his momentum against him and planting him in the middle of the ring!

 

Belmont hooks the leg.

Lyman breaks it up. Belmont rolls off and slowly moves to the corner. Lyman stomps him in the chest and then again before Dawson climbs onto the apron. Lyman runs over to him and grabs him. He nails him with a hard right and then another. He then buries his shoulder into the ribs of Dawson. Lyman then grabs the top rope and sunset flips over the top rope and grabs Marquis before powerbombing him down on the mats. The crowd ohs.

 

Sharper: Lyman with the sunset flip to the floor!

 

Knots: Dawson hit with a sickening thud!

 

Lyman looks around as Dawson grimaces in pain. Lyman then pulls himself in and Belmont grabs him and pulls him in before hooking him up and hitting a Gotch-style piledriver. The crowd ohs. Belmont hooks the leg.

Holloway somehow breaks it up. Holloway rolls through. Belmont rolls off, slowly getting up. He grabs his head, but Holloway then steps up and scoops him up and hits a Michinoku driver! He presses down for the pin.

Belmont gets his shoulder up. Holloway rolls off. Lyman rolls over and Holloway nails him with a hard right and then another before turning and running him towards the ropes and throwing him to the floor. Holloway turns and grabs Belmont and pulls him up and throws him to the floor, right by Lyman. Lyman and Belmont turn to one another. Both use the other to get up and nail each other with hard rights before Holloway exits to the apron and then hits a top rope springboard moonsault onto both of them! The crowd erupts.

 

Sharper: Xavier Holloway! From the top rope! Springboard moonsault!

 

Knots: Set em up and knock em down!

 

Holloway looks around as the crowd roars. He takes a moment looks at his handiwork and smiles. He then gets up and throws his arms in the air, getting more cheers from the crowd. He then turns and rolls into the ring. Dawson, however, slides in too. Holloway gets up and Dawson runs at him and drills him with the OG Kicks! The crowd ohs. Dawson turns and hooks Holloway s legs.

Holloway just gets his shoulder up. Dawson rolls off and looks out and then slowly gets up. Holloway rolls over and Dawson steps up and elbows him in the side of the head once and then again before finishing off the Seasoning. Holloway drops. Dawson then turns as he sees Belmont. He steps through the ropes and down to the floor. Belmont gets up and Dawson kicks Lyman in the ribs. Lyman goes down. Dawson then hoists Belmont up and turns around and spinebusters him into the ring apron. The crowd ohs. Belmont grimaces in pain and Dawson rolls him into the ring. Dawson rolls in and waits for Belmont to get up and motions for him to do so. Belmont stirs as Dawson waits. He then goes to step up, but Lyman grabs his foot. Dawson turns and pulls away and Belmont hits the Vampire Killer on him. He then goes for the pin as Lyman pulls himself up onto the apron. Belmont stops and nails Lyman in the ribs. He then starts to pull him into the ring, and sets up for the Midnight Special, but Lyman then manages to free himself from the ropes and lifts Belmont up and back drops him down. Belmont gets up and Lyman kicks him in the ribs. He bends him over and hooks him up before hoisting him up int a powerbomb position, cradling the head, and hitting a powerbomb suplex into the middle of the ring. The crowd roars.

 

Sharper: Lyman drops Belmont with right on the back of his head!

 

Knots: Belmont even saw him coming.

 

Sharper: Lyman using all of his wiles there. And now a cover!

 

Lyman covers Belmont.

Belmont kicks out. Lyman rolls over. He turns and stomps Belmont once and then again before going over to Dawson. Dawson gets up and Lyman clubs him in the back once and then again before whipping him across the ring. Dawson bounces off and ducks a clothesline attempt. Lyman turns around and Dawson just hits him with a roaring elbow. The crowd ohs. Dawson turns and Holloway hits a superkick. The crowd erupts. Holloway staggers. Belmont fights up to his feet and Holloway hits him with a superkick. Holloway then falls to knee. He looks around as everyone else is down.

 

Sharper: Holloway with two superkicks! He s got control. This kid could shock the world!

 

Knots: Choose your shot kid!

 

Holloway looks around and then sees Lyman. He then runs to the corner and jumps to the middle rope and hits a springboard moonsault onto Lyman. He hooks the leg.

Lyman shoots his shoulder up. Holloway then turns and runs at Belmont, stomping him in the face before doing the same to Dawson. Holloway then turns and exits to the apron. He climbs up to the top rope. Lyman stirs and Holloway motions to him to get up. He then dives off going for the Code X, but Lyman sidesteps as Holloway lands on his feet. He turns around and right into Lyman s Leading the Revolution. The crowd ohs.

 

Sharper: Holloway missed! Lyman didn t!

 

Knots: He picked the wrong shot!

 

Lyman staggers as just then, Belmont tackles him back into the ropes, Lyman hits the ropes and Belmont hits the Echoplex! He bridges up for the pin.

Dawson breaks it up. Belmont rolls over. Belmont winces and starts to get up and looks at Dawson. Dawson gets up and pulls him in before taking him over with an exploder suplex. He hooks the leg.

Belmont gets his shoulder up. Dawson rolls off and looks around.

 

Sharper: Fast and furious offense here in this match. All wanting to walk out the winner!

 

Knots: All for their own reasons. But no one wants to stay down!

 

Dawson gets up and stretches out as Belmont rolls over. He stirs and Dawson kicks him in the ribs. He then sets him up for the Stackin Dem Bands, but Lyman and Holloway both get up enough to hit a double superkick. The crowd ohs as Marquis falls back and through the ropes to the floor. Lyman then turns and hoists Holloway up and goes for a spinebuster, but Holloway grabs his head and counters with a DDT. Lyman rolls over. Holloway gets up, but then turns into Belmont who kicks him in the ribs and double underhooks him and hits the Black Abyss! Belmont turns and hooks the leg.

The bell sounds. The crowd roars and gives a mixed reaction as Belmont rolls off. He then gets up and looks around as his music plays. Pookie Williams looks up at ringside, now standing with Marquis Dawson, who stirs.

 

Phillips: Here is your winner, via pinfall, David Belmont!

 

The Rabbit can be seen tilting his head and smiling, as Ryo and Gibson enter the ring. Marquis Dawson just scoffs at ringside.

 

Sharper: David Belmont spikes Xavier Holloway. And Lyman couldn t stop him and tonight, Marquis Dawson couldn t stop him. David Belmont with the win!

 

Knots: Comes in and gets it done. Talk about a statement!

 

Sharper: Winning you over, Jon.

 

Knots: Don t want to talk about it. Just focus on him! He won!

 

Belmont smirks as he then looks at Marquis Dawson. Dawson slowly stands up as Belmont and him continue to lock eyes. Belmont then raises his arm, taking in the crowd for a few moments, before the scene cuts away.

 

Hush plays in the background. We cut to a shot in the luxury boxes here in Ford Field to see Colleen MacDonald watching on, the SCW Television Championship sitting across her lap. The crowd cheers a bit as we focus on her. We then see Frank Delatosso entering into the same luxury box. This leads to boos from the crowd as he sits down with a brunette woman who is sitting with him. We also see members of the SCW Board of Directors also in the room. Notable, Mr. D and his daughter, Sasha, are absent.

 

Sharper: There you see the SCW Television Champion. We are hoping she will have recovered from the stunning car accident she suffered.

 

Knots: Last night didn t help as Scarlett Carsons and Kirsten Scott fell short. I guess fate is not on their side.

 

Sharper: But interestingly she is in the luxury box of the Board of Directors. Perhaps Polly Playtime playing a roll there. Colleen almost looks a bit uncertain, but focusing on the action tonight. And next, I m sure Delatosso will have plenty to think.

 

Knots: Damn right. The Number One Draft Pick is going to send a lesson to a man who should ve been more grateful!

 

Sharper: Shaun Cruze will face Alistaire Allocco. Let s take a look at how we got here.

The opening rifts to You Know My Name by Chris Cornell kicks in over the PA system, the arena all jumping to their feet in unison as a Cruze chant starts to roll around the arena. After a few moments, the curtain parts, and Shaun Cruze steps through it, and onto the stage. His nameplate comes up.
 
Phillips: The following contest is scheduled for onefall with a forty-five minute time limit. Currently on his way to the ring, hailing from Los Angeles, California, he is the Impact Player, Shaun Cruze!
 
Shaun steps forwards and to the top of the ramp, looking out over his adoring fans, lifting his hands and applauding them as he also nods his gratitude. With a final smile, he starts to walk down to the ring. The camera cuts to a wide shot showing him walking down to the ring. As he reaches the ground, he starts high-fiving with the fans at ringside and shaking hands. He then turns and runs to the ring and slides in, under the bottom rope. He gets up and walks to the middle of the ring, and holds out his arms, the noise level absolutely off the charts. He then walks to his corner, and turns, waiting for the start of the match.

 

Sharper: This has become personal. The Allocco family. The Cruze family. There s a lot of history there and Alistaire Allocco is looking to end Cruze s run here in SCW.

 

Knots: All about consequences. Cruze could ve played ball. He wanted to act like he was better-

 

Sharper: He didn t want handouts, Jon!

 

Knots: He was getting protection. He was getting support. This is a star. Or I should say, was!

 

The lights dim slightly as monks' chanting begins to echo out through the arena. As this does so, a lone yet dim spotlight begins to focus in on the entrance:

The sound feeds kick suddenly into "Lux Aeterna" by Skyder, DRONSOND. The crowd boos as the spotlight becomes super intense as a single man stands in its ray. His features were almost muted by the blinding light. His defined muscles are visible, but that's about it. As he kicks his foot around at a loud beat of the song, he steps forward to face the crowd. Alistaire Allocco stands there, his eyes burning with judgment and fury. As he rolls his shoulder and poses there, a series of bright pyros fires off above him and high into the air. His nameplate comes up.

 

Phillips: And his opponent, from Rochester, New York, he is the Number One Draft Pick of Supreme Championship Wrestling, Alistaire Allocco!

 

Alistaire starts down the ramp, ignoring the fans' jeers and insults. His focus is before him, the wrestling ring. He makes the walk down and then looks in the ring. He locks eyes with Cruze before turning to the corner and running up the steel steps. He walks along the apron, wipes his feet, and steps into the ring. He then steps forward. He then starts to stretch out.

 

Sharper: Alistaire Allocco-

 

Knots: Look at that man! That s a specimen!

 

Sharper: And Allocco looks sharp. He s a very dangerous man. Cruze needs to be careful, but Allocco needs to recognize, this is not going to be a easy night for him. Cruze is one of the most decorated men in SCW history!

 

Alistaire Allocco looks at Shaun Cruze as Cruze settles in his corner, stretching out. The crowd looks on as a Cruze! chant breaks out. Cruze looks around as Allocco ignores them. The bell sounds. The two walk out of their corner a bit. Allocco lunges at Cruze a bit as Cruze hops back, watching him. The two then lock eyes before stepping up and engaging in a collar-and-elbow tie-up in the middle of the ring. They push back on one another and then Allocco pulls on the hair of Cruze and drops down, snapping Cruze over. Cruze rolls over and looks around as Allocco gets up. Cruze slowly gets to his feet. Allocco then reaches over, goes to grab at him, but Cruze gets up and slaps his hand away. The two watch one another before they lock up again. Allocco this time, moves into an arm lock, wrenching the arm and then places it under his armpit. He starts o go for the hand, but Cruze pushes him into the corner. Allocco moves into a front face lock as Cruze pushes him in.

Cruze pulls back and looks around as the official warns Allocco and Cruze.

 

Sharper: And right now, Allocco trying to get Cruze to fight his match.

 

Knots: He does that, it s over. Right there. This is about making Cruze feel this. Feel what could ve been and make him regret it all!

 

Cruze turns back to Allocco as Allocco steps out. This time, Cruze engages first, reaching up. Allocco holds his hand up too, they both watching on another before Cruze and Allocco lock hands and then Cruze moves into a top wrist lock, taking Allocco down. He keeps the hold on as Allocco winces, spinning around on his back before getting back to his feet. He then pushes him to the middle of the ring, only to then surprisingly, scoop Cruze up and slam him down. He runs into the ropes, bouncing off and goes for an elbow drop. Cruze moves. Allocco hits the mat. He gets up and turns to Cruze who arm drags him over.

 

Sharper: And Allocco with a surprising choice for offense.

 

Knots: Just fight your fight.

 

Sharper: Maybe he s let whatever Delatosso and him have thought about Cruze get to his head.

 

Cruze then moves into a top wrist lock. Allocco reaches up, trying to grab the hair and the two spin around on the mat, but Cruze keeps the hold on and then Allocco pauses. He then rolls back and to his hands and knees. Cruze keeps hold of the arm. Allocco starts to get up to his feet. Cruze keeps hold of the arm and Allocco then pulls himself forward, wrapping his free arm around Cruze s head. He then spins him around into the corner. He then gets free and forearms Cruze in the jaw and then again before pulling him out and kicking him before hitting a snap suplex. Cruze rolls over and gets up and moves to his feet before Allocco takes him over with a fireman s takedown. Cruze rolls over and to the corner. Allocco gets up and Cruze hits a kick to the ribs before Allocco then forearms him and shoulders him in the ribs. He then pulls him out of the corner before hooking him up and hitting a vertical suplex. Cruze winces as moves to the ropes. Allocco heads over and grabs him and hooks him up for a back suplex. Cruze however punches him in the top of the head. He nails him again and then turns and hits a hard right and a left to the ribs before a kick to the ribs and a dropkick. Allocco rolls over to the far ropes.

 

Sharper: And a bit of a scrap. Cruze starting to now just go for the fight.

 

Knots: He s realized he can t outwrestle him! Allocco starting to suplex him.

 

Allocco gets up and Cruze steps up and Cruze forearms him again and again. He then goes to whip him across the ring, but Allocco spins through and sends Cruze in. Allocco catches him and hits a side belly to belly suplex. Allocco then gets up and grabs Cruze, but Cruze suddenly breaks the hold and chops Allocco. He chops him again and then nails him a hard right. He then runs into the ropes, bouncing off, but Allocco catches him and hits an exploder suplex. The crowd ohs.

 

Sharper: And Allocco with another suplex! The exploder this time!

 

Knots: And Cruze doesn t have an answer! It s great!

 

Cruze moves to the ropes and then starts to get up and Allocco pulls him back and then jumps up and into a crucifix pin.

Cruze kicks out. Both get up and Allocco scoops him up and slams him down. Cruze rolls over and moves to the ropes. Allocco then steps up and moves to him, getting a bit more steam, but Cruze then suddenly elbows him in the jaw. He then grabs him and throws him to the floor. (1) Allocco gets up on the floor and Cruze then drops down. (1) Allocco turns to him and Cruze scoops him up and then runs him back first into the ringpost. The crowd roars. (2)

 

Sharper: And Cruze using the ring! The ringpost!

 

Knots: How the hell is that fair? How the hell is that wrestling? Well, guess Cruze is that desperate!

 

Sharper: Or he knows what Allocco has in mind and is just doing the same back. Showing he s got some tricks up his sleeve!

 

Allocco grimaces in pain. (3) He turns as Cruze grabs him and pulls him up before rolling him into the ring. Allocco starts to get up and Cruze slides in and grabs him and hits an inverted atomic drop. The crowd ohs. Cruze runs into the ropes, bounces off and hits a running clothesline, taking Allocco down. Allocco hits hard. He then starts to get up and Cruze then kicks him in the ribs and hooks his head and hits the Twist of Fate! The crowd roars. Cruze rolls him over and goes for the pin.

Allocco gets his shoulder up. Cruze rolls off and looks around before looking at Allocco then then kneeling next to him and hammering away with hard right hands. The crowd roars.

 

Sharper: And Cruze now just hammering away. Why not? You know what Allocco wants. Make it harder for him!

 

Knots: He wants Cruze gone! Resistance is futile!

 

Cruze pulls away as Allocco starts to stir. Cruze pulls him up and then moves him to lean against the ropes and nails him with a hard right. Allocco s head snaps back. Cruze nails him again. He then goes to whip him across the ring, but Allocco drops and pulls him in before spinning around him and hitting a bridging German suplex!

Cruze rolls his shoulder over and off the mat. He turns and looks around as Allocco turns and crawls over to him and grabs him and pulls him up. He then hits a standing dropkick to the back of the head. Cruze lands hard. Allocco then looks at him. The crowd boos. He then stands over Cruze and Allocco takes a moment before bending over and waistlocking Cruze before deadlifting him up and hitting another bridging German suplex!

Sharper: And amazing German suplex! Deadlift too! But only two!

 

Cruze rolls over and starts to stir. Allocco then walks over and grabs him and starts to set up for a chickenwing crossface. The crowd roars, but Cruze manages to fight off a bit, resisting Allocco. He then manages to move into position and hits a Russian leg sweep. Cruze floats over into a pin.

Allocco kicks out. Cruze rolls off and starts to stir. Allocco rolls over and gets up and Allocco gets up and Cruze scoops him up and hits a backbreaker. Cruze keeps Allocco across his knee before taking a moment and letting out a yell before managing to lift Allocco up from the backbreaker position into a second backbreaker. Allocco rolls over in pain. Cruze then starts to get up and turns to Cruze. He then drives his head into the small of Allocco s back. Allocco grimaces in pain. Cruze then gets up and drives his knee into the back. Allocco rolls over.

 

Sharper: Cruze going for the back. The lower back. That s going to sap his strength, but he s also thinking about the Shaunshooter!

 

Knots: He can think about it all he wants!

 

Allocco moves to the ropes. Cruze follows up and nails him in the back with a shot and then another before Allocco elbows him in the jaw. Cruze staggers back. Allocco turns around and Cruze goes for a hard right, but Allocco grabs the arm and ducks under and pulls him down with a variation of a rolling crucifix pin.

Cruze kicks out. Both men get up and Allocco grabs Cruze and goes for the belly to belly. Cruze blocks it and knees him in the ribs. He then kicks him in the ribs and hooks his head. He hoists him up, but Allocco spins through and lands behind Cruze. He runs Cruze into the ropes and pulls him back with an Okana roll.

Cruze kicks out. Both get up and Allocco pulls him in and goes for another exploder. Cruze however elbows his way out. He then spins around and pulls Allocco into a short-arm clothesline. Cruze walks around the ring. Allocco stirs and gets up and Cruze jumps up and hits a crescent kick, knocking him down. He goes for the pin.

Allocco kicks out. Allocco rolls over and Shaun Cruze then grabs him from behind. He then tries for a German suplex of his own, but Allocco blocks it. Cruze tries again and Allocco reaches out and grabs the top rope. Cruze then clubs him in the back once and then forearms him in the lower back. Allocco then hits a mule kick. Cruze falls back. The crowd boos as the official looks at Cruze and then turns to Allocco.

 

Sharper: Come on! A low blow. The mule kick!

 

Knots: I saw nothing. Stop making things up!

 

Sharper: Yeah. Cruze is down. Holding himself in pain.

 

Knots: Clearly trying to get Allocco disqualified! What a cheap move!

 

Sharper: Stop it!

 

Cruze rolls over and Allocco then grabs him and pulls him up and hits a snap back suplex. Cruze rolls over and Allocco drags him up and then pulls him up and runs him into the corner. Cruze turns around and Allocco shoulders him in the ribs once and then again and again before then pulling him out and hitting a northern lights suplex before then rolling through and hitting a second one. He then bridges up for the pin.

Allocco then collapses, holding his lower back. He then turns and hooks the leg.

Sharper: Allocco with a huge rolling northern lights, but he couldn t hold the bridge. The damage to the lower back!

Cruze rolls over and stirs and Allocco stomps him in the face. He then stomps him again as Cruze rolls over. Cruze reaches at the ropes and Allocco drags him up and then hooks him up and hits a vertical suplex. Allocco then holding her lower back and then then turning and looking at Cruze. Cruze stirs and Allocco turns and then grabs him and pulls him up and then pulling him and going for an exploder suplex into the corner. The crowd ohs. Cruze rolls over and to his back. Allocco then walks over to him and stomps at him. He then looks down at him.

 

Allocco: Beginning of the end, Shaun! You can t defeat inevitability!

 

Allocco then drags Cruze out from the corner. He then scoops him up and hits a backbreaker of his own. The crowd boos. Allocco turns and then grabs the legs of Cruze. He looks down and pulls up on the legs and goes for the Glorious Revolution. He turns Cruze over and pulls back on the legs.

 

Sharper: Glorious Revolution! Middle of the ring!

 

Knots: Just perfect positioning! Perfect everything!

 

Allocco leans back and grimaces, biting his lip as he does. He keeps trying, blood even coming out of his lips, before then letting go and stepping forward, holding his lower back. Allocco stomps the mat in anger as Cruze crawls to the ropes.

 

Sharper: Allocco letting go. Cruze had to have done a number on that back.

 

Knots: Well think of what Allocco s been through, the accident, the wear and tear from wrestling. Think about how much pain he was in. How much he wants to finish the job.

 

Sharper: Look at his mouth. Bleeding from the mouth. He was just biting down, almost trying to mask the pain.

 

Cruze starts to get up and Allocco looks around before stepping over and nails Cruze in the back of the head with a clubbing blow. He nails him again and then again. Cruze falls to his hands and knees. Allocco then grabs him and pulls him up before then saying something to him before pushing him out and then going for the Dies Irae, but Cruze ducks and Allocco lets go. Allocco turns around and Cruze scoops him up and hits another backbreaker. The crowd roars. Cruze then rolls him over and elbows him in the back of the head. Cruze exits to the apron. He then climbs up to the top rope. He looks at Allocco and then dives off with a swanton bomb to the lower back. Allocco yells out in pain.

 

Sharper: To the lower back again! Cruze! All of his weight with the swanton!

 

Knots: He s trying to cripple him!

 

Allocco rolls over and away from Cruze. Cruze then walks over and grabs him and pulls him away from the ropes, trying to go for his legs. Allocco fights off and gets a leg free and kicks Cruze in the ribs and then the head. Cruze falls back. Allocco gets up and Cruze turns to him and Allocco grabs him by the head and chest for a suplex, but Allocco nails him in the ribs before sliding down and hitting a standing double leg takedown. Allocco lands back first on the mat and Shaun Cruze steps through and locks in the Shaunshooter! The crowd roars.

 

Sharper: Shaunshooter! Cruze countered and he s got the Shaunshooter locked in!

 

Knots: And the middle of the ring no

 

Shaun sits down as Allocco yells in pain. He bridges up and reaches out as the crowd looks on. The official checks on Allocco. Allocco drops down, grabbing at his hair. Cruze keeps the hold on as Allocco grits his teeth and reaches out again before then starting to tap out. The crowd roars as Cruze keeps the hold on waiting for the bell. The bell sounds and Cruze lets go and steps forward. Allocco clutches at his back.

 

Phillips: Here is your winner, via submission Shaun Cruze!

 

Sharper: Shaun Cruze gets Alistaire Allocco to tap out here at Rise to Greatness! Maybe it was Allocco who needed to learn a lesson!

 

Knots: This is a travesty! An absolute travesty!

 

Allocco rolls over in pain as Cruze has his arm raised. He then turns and moves to the corner, playing to the crowd. Cruze hops down as Allocco slides back to the ropes. He looks up at Cruze. Cruze shakes his head at him before then turning and going to the next corner and posing there. Allocco rolls to the apron. He grimaces in pain as Cruze continues his celebration.

 

Backstage, we open up to see Jessica Winters standing in the SCW interview area.

 

Winters: Rise to Greatness is here and as we ve seen, some personal matches, but none may be as personal as Ryan LeCavalier facing Selena Frost and with me right now, is Ryan LeCavalier, the Lost Monarch.

 

The crowd roars, while some boo as Ryan LeCavalier comes into the view, looking around, smirking confidently.

 

Winters: Ryan-

 

LeCavalier: Jessica I can sense you re a bit concerned. You think Selena Frost is going to mess up tonight s main event. She s the special enforcer. I mean she should have been competing for the World Title and I would have been in her corner helping her. But now now tonight s place is very different. Selena Frost won t be a factor later because I am going to make sure that she won t have the use of some of her extremities. Instead, I am going to make it so tonight is the last time we ever have to worry about Selena Frost and SCW. And tonight, I am going to do everything I can to make her regret not doing what she should have done we could ve had some classics. Her and I defining the next wave of World Championship brilliance. But now now I will settle for being SCW s hero and removing her from the annals of the future

 

LeCavalier looks at the camera before turning to Jessica. She then walks off.

 

Winters: Back to ringside.

 

 

The arena falls into a deep, anticipatory hush as the lights abruptly dim, plunging the crowd into darkness. The air is thick with anticipation, and suddenly, the ominous beats of "Praise" by Zhu, Banks, and Bludnymph pulse through the speakers, filling the arena with an eerie energy. The voice of BANKS echoes through the space, setting a haunting tone:

"I built me up high, a building so high, you know. Up where the birds fly, it was a long time ago."

The tension is palpable as a single spotlight slices through the darkness, casting an intense beam onto the entrance ramp. The crowd holds its breath as the silhouette of her figure begins to emerge, shrouded in an aura of menace and mystery. Dressed in a breathtaking ensemble of black and gold, her outfit shimmers with an almost ethereal glow, reflecting her dominance and superiority.

As Ryan LeCavalier steps into the light, the chorus surges, magnifying her grand entrance and asserting her control:

"I got the view from the stars, baby, stars, baby. You look up at me like a god, baby, god, baby."

With a deliberate, measured pace, she strides down the ramp, each step resounding with authority and command. Her hair cascades behind her, catching the light and adding a dramatic flair to her entrance. Her gaze is sharp and unyielding, scanning the crowd with a mix of disdain and amusement, daring them to challenge her.

Phillips: The following contest is scheduled for onefall with a sixty minute time limit. First, on her way to the ring, from Los Angeles, California, she is the Lost Monarch, Ryan LeCavalier!


Suddenly, pyrotechnics explode around her, their bursts of light and smoke accentuating her every movement. The strobe-like flashes create a stark contrast between light and shadow, emphasizing her formidable presence. The chorus of "Praise" swells dramatically, enveloping the arena in a pulsating rhythm:

"This is how I got name, this is how I got my fame. You and me are not the same, this is why you give me praise."

As she nears the ring, she pauses, her eyes locking onto the spectators at ringside. She smirks, exuding an aura of disdain and arrogance, relishing in their fear and respect. With a contemptuous glance, she continues her march toward the ring, her every move a testament to her dominance and control.

Ascending the ring steps with an almost ritualistic grace, she pauses at the top, surveying the arena with a look of disdainful triumph. With a flourish, she steps through the ropes, her entrance complete. Raising her arms in a gesture of defiance and power, she locks eyes with her opponent, the tension between them electric.

The music crescendos to a thunderous climax, and the crowd erupts into a cacophony of boos and jeers, their voices a testament to her impact and infamy. She stands ready in the center of the ring, her presence alone a declaration of her readiness for the fight ahead.

As the final notes of "Praise" fade into the night, the echoes of the chorus linger in the air, a haunting reminder of her dominance and control:

"Give me (Praise), Give me (Praise)."

And with that, the stage is set, the battle lines drawn, and the arena braces itself for the match that's about to take place.

 

Sharper: Ryan LeCavalier could make a massive impact on tonight s proceedings. She said it bluntly she wanted Selena to compete for the World Title. Selena didn t take Deanna s offer. But Ryan would now take Selena out, and make sure she s not a factor later tonight.

 

Knots: I want to see her try. Come on Ryan. This is your night. Take her out. Make your name tonight. We d all remember it, forever!

 

BELIEVE IT... OR NOT!

Thank You for Hating Me! by Citizen Soldier plays throughout the arena, the SCW Universe gives a very mixed reaction. The lights shift to dark purple and blue, filling the arena as snow is seen falling along the electronic floor and screens as, out from the back, walks the Snow Queen, Selena Frost, taking in the crowd of the SCW Universe with a smirk.

 

Phillips: And her opponent, from Nome, Alaska, by way of Manhattan, New York, she is the Snow Queen, Selena Frost!

Slowly, Selena shifts her head, her sapphire eyes locked towards the ring as she turns to her side and lifts her front hand gracefully, extending it towards the ring, palm upward. With a lift of her front foot, she suddenly slams it down into the ground, causing a crack like ice to form and sprint down the ramp and towards the ring!

Lowering her arm, the Blue-Eyed Devil walks down the ramp, her steps leaving footprints in the snow under her feet. Reaching the ring, Selena goes up the steps and under the ropes to enter it. Once inside and in the center of the ring, she stands still, confident and powerful, as the lights form to make a massive blue and black snowflake under her and the purple and blue lights. Raising her hand back up, towards the audience, once again palm upright, a wicked smirk graces her lips. With a slam of her foot, Selena causes the snowflake at her feet to crack as the rampway did, the shards of ice streaking out to all four corners of the ring to shoot out purple streaks of light from the turnbuckle the lights return to normal.

 

Sharper: I m a bit surprised. Selena Frost has always been one for the pageantry, and the display. Instead, tonight, she comes in, almost modestly. Her usual entrance. Her usual visuals. Just a grander scale with the entrance set we have here.

 

Knots: Who cares? She s trying to divert attention from her. We all know what s going to happen later. She s been stewing for so long. She s going to make tonight about her. And so either Ryan takes her out, and we hail her a hero, or we watch Selena Frost with the last grasp of her desperation ruin everything for her. And it will be great!

 

Ryan LeCavalier looks at Selena Frost as Selena Frost stretches out across the ring. The bell sounds as LeCavalier steps out from the corner and Selena Frost just looks at LeCavalier, walking out. The crowd gives a mixed reaction as Frost looks around before LeCavalier runs over and nails Selena with a hard right. The crowd gives a mixed reaction before LeCavalier nails her again and then again before grabbing her and sending her into the corner. LeCavalier then leans in, just choking Selena.

LeCavalier pulls away and tells the official, Aaron Demitra, to back off. Demitra reprimands LeCavalier and Ryan turns back to Selena before Selena chops her in the chest. The crowd woos. She chops her again. More woos. She then steps up and spins through, sending LeCavalier into the ropes. LeCavalier bounces off and Selena hits a hip toss.

 

Sharper: LeCavalier went after Selena. Selena took her first volley and responds in kind!

 

Knots: Just keep focused Ryan. Selena s going to be focusing on her own problems. She s always been that. Probably seething she s not competing for the World Title.

 

Sharper: She ll be at ringside. The special enforcer for our main event.

 

Ryan gets up and Selena kicks her in the ribs and pushes her into the ropes and fires her off. LeCavalier bounces off and Selena hits a back elbow. LeCavalier hits the mat and pops up and moves into the corner. Selena follows up with a kick to the ribs and then another chop. The crowd woos. She then turns and whips LeCavalier across the ring. LeCavalier stops herself in the corner with her boot and Selena runs after, but LeCavalier catches her with a back elbow of her own. Selena staggers back. LeCavalier runs after and goes for a clothesline. Selena ducks and both spin around and Selena hits a dropkick to LeCavalier. LeCavalier rolls over and gets back up and Selena hits another dropkick. LeCavalier hits the mat. She goes to roll away, but Selena forces her down and covers her.

LeCavalier kicks out. Selena gets up and drags LeCavalier to her feet.

 

Sharper: LeCavalier looking to get some distance. Selena closing it fast though.

 

Knots: Come on Ryan. Just catch her and use the ring. This is the match you wanted. So the World Title isn t on the line. You can handle this!

 

Selena then spins her around and places her against the ropes and chops her again. The crowd woos. Selena then looks at her and then hits a shoot kick to the chest. LeCavalier grimaces in pain and falls to a knee, but remains next to the ropes. Selena hits another shoot kick. LeCavalier graimces in and then Selena pulls her up and goes for a snapmare. LeCavalier however flips forward to her feet. She then hits a back kick to the ribs and then turns and lifts her leg, hooking her boot and then lets go, hitting a hook kick to the face of Selena s head. Selena drops as the crowd ohs. Ryan then dives onto her and pushes her to her back only to then hammer away on her with repeated right hands.

 

Knots: There you go! Go for it. Over and over!

 

Sharper: And Ryan LeCavalier right onto Selena Frost, hammering away. Right hands to the side of her head.

 

Ryan pushes off as Selena rolls over. She then starts to get up and LeCavalier runs into the ropes, bouncing off and hitting a running basement dropkick. Frost rolls to her back. LeCavalier dives onto her for the pin.

Selena kicks out. She starts to get up and moves to the ropes and LeCavalier heads over and nails her in the ribs once and then again before going to whip her across the ring. Selena, however, spins through and sends LeCavalier in. LeCavalier bounces off and Selena hits a spinning heel kick to the jaw. LeCavalier hits the mat. Selena hooks the legs.

LeCavalier kicks out. She rolls over to the ropes and starts to get up. Selena then steps up and boots her in the face. LeCavalier falls through the ropes to the apron.

 

Sharper: Just a straight boot to the face.

 

Knots: Hey! What are we? Street fighting?

 

Sharper: Selena just drilled her in the face.

 

LeCavalier starts to get up and Selena steps up and runs at her, going for a shoulder thrust. LeCavalier sidesteps and jumps up with a leg drop to the back of Selena s head. Selena steps up and LeCavalier then grabs the top rope and slingshots over the top rope, over Selena, twisting around in the process before using her momentum to grab Selena in a waistlock and snap her over with a hard German suplex. The crowd ohs. Selena rolls to her side and LeCavalier rolls her over to her back and covers her.

Selena gets her shoulder up. LeCavalier then turns and grabs the right arm of Selena. Selena grimaces in pain as LeCavalier pulls back on the arm. She starts to slowly get up as the crowd looks on. Selena grabs at her head a bit as LeCavalier wrenches the arm again.

 

Sharper: And Selena Frost could be hurt. Take a look at this German suplex.

 

Knots: She had no clue what LeCavalier was thinking.

 

REPLAY:

 

We see LeCavalier launching herself over the top rope and twisting around Selena before grabbing her and throwing her back with a stiff release German suplex.

Ryan then ducks under and hits a hip throw, over her shoulder, taking Selena down, but holding onto her arm.

 

She then turns and leg drops the right arm of Selena. Selena grimaces and Ryan then holds the arm down and drives her knee into it. Selena rolls over and pulls away. She gets to the ropes and Ryan walks over and grabs her and elbows her in the back of the head. Selena falls to a knee. LeCavalier then grabs her right arm and pulls it around the arm of Selena, stretching it back.

LeCavalier lets go as Selena falls back to a knee. LeCavalier walks around the ring. She then heads over and grabs Selena and pulls her out and hits a vertical suplex. LeCavalier then rolls through, still holding onto Selena, ending up with her sitting up. LeCavalier is back to her feet and she then steps over and hooks Selena s arm around her legs and starts to pull back, twisting down. The move causes Selena to contort and yell out.

 

Sharper: This is a unique hold. She s trying to tear at the arm. The right arm.

 

Knots: Trying to maybe set up for the BODY/PRISON later. She s just using Selena s own body to contort her.

 

Sharper: It s an awkward hold. More to just torture and she just slipped out.

 

Selena manages to roll through and get free of the hold. She rolls over. Ryan gets up and runs at her, but Selena drop toe holds into the middle turnbuckle behind her. Ryan then grimaces, holding her face, before starting to get up and Selena runs to the ropes, jumping to the middle rope and hits a back kick to the jaw. LeCavalier hits the mat. Selena rolls over, holding her right arm and wince. She starts to shake it out, opening and closing her hand, before then starting to get the circulation back in. LeCavalier stirs as Selena steps over and stomps her in the face. Selena walks around as LeCavalier moves to the ropes. Selena then steps up and grabs her and pulls her through the ropes and then steps back and kicks her in the back. Ryan falls forward and onto the apron. Selena looks at her and then runs along the ropes, bouncing off and hitting a spinning heel kick to the jaw. Lecavalier spins off and down to the floor. (1)

 

Sharper: Selena her arm bothering her, thanks to LeCavalier s assault, but her legs are fine!

 

Knots: LeCavalier was just kicked into next week. Just spun around!

 

Sharper: And Selena Frost now going to the top rope! To the top! High risk here!

 

Selena Frost steps through to the apron and then climbs up to the top rope. (2) She glances back and hits a top rope moonsault onto LeCavalier on the floor! The crowd roars. (1) Selena rolls over as LeCavalier is laid out on the floor. (2) Selena Frost looks around.

 

REPLAY:

 

We see Selena Frost hitting the spinning heel kick on LeCavalier. She spins off and down to the floor. The RTG XXIII logo comes up on the screen before we see Selena Frost diving off the top rope with a moonsault onto LeCavalier in front of the announce posiiotn.

Selena starts to get up. (3) She then winces and grabs Ryan and drags her up. (4)

 

She rolls LeCavalier into the ring. Selena slides in and crawls over and goes for the pin.

LeCavalier suddenly goes for the kimura. Selena yells out as LeCavalier tries to crank on the arm. Selena kicks back and hooks the bottom rope.

LeCavalier lets go and Selena rolls over to the corner. LeCavalier slowly gets up and winces as Selena holds her arm. LeCavalier then runs over to her and Selena ducks a feigned shot, but this was all done for LeCavalier to jump to the middle rope and dive back with the Relativisme. Selena drops and rolls to her back. LeCavalier then gets up and shakes her head before turning and goes for the Presque L Amour, but Selena gets her knees up. The crowd ohs.

 

Sharper: LeCavalier went for a moonsault of her own, but Selena got the knees up!

 

Knots: Oh no!

 

Selena pulls herself up and then just kicks her in the ribs and spikes her with a DDT. The crowd ohs. Selena hooks the leg.

LeCavalier gets her shoulder up. The crowd ohs. Selena rolls away. She then starts to get up. LeCavalier slowly rolls over and starts to pull herself up, clearly hurt from the DDT. She gets up and steps up and grabs her and hits the Perfect Fate. She then goes to the corner. She then climbs up to the top rope again. She glances back and goes for a second moonsault. Ryan rolls out of the way. Selena lands on her feet and stumbles back. Ryan gets up and swings, but Selena blocks it and forearms LeCavalier, but LeCavalier spins through with a spinning back fist. Selena spins around and LeCavalier kicks her in the small of the back. Selena falls forward, but spins around, hooking the ropes and falls through the ropes, but then uses that to add more momentum as she teeters back up and rushes LeCavalier, drilling her with a vicious clothesline. LeCavalier backflips from the impact. Selena rolls over, clutching her right arm in pain.

 

Sharper: Selena with a lariat!

 

Knots: But she used the bad arm!

 

Selena turns and grimaces and moves to the corner. LeCavalier rolls over and looks up at Selena. Selena grits her teeth and pulls herself up, using the ropes and her good arm. She then moves forward and Ryan grabs at the arm. She tries to take her over for a crossface, but Selena blocks it and rolls forward. Ryan leans forward and tries to sit Selena up to move into the BODY/PRISON, but Selena kicks her in the head. Ryan falls back. Both get up and Selena hits the Glass Shard! The crowd ohs and Selena drops to her knees and falls back first onto LeCavalier for the cover, still clutching her arm.

The bell sounds. Selena rolls off, clutching her arm.

 

Phillips: Here is your winner, via pinfall, Selena Frost!

 

The crowd gives a mixed reaction as Selena Frost slides over to the ropes, partially to get some distance from Ryan LeCavalier.

 

Knots: Selena survives, but at what cost? She s holding that arm.

 

Sharper: And if she needs to make a count, is she even able to? What condition is that arm in? LeCavalier didn t win, but she may have made good on part of her promise!

 

Knots: It s Selena think she ll not be that desperate?

 

Selena Frost looks around, wincing in pain. She then rolls to the apron and then to the floor. She looks around, wincing again. She then looks at the ring and then to the crowd. The official comes to the floor to check on her. Selena waves him off and she starts to walk to the back. She tries to move her arm, but winces, before then continuing to walk to the back. Ryan LeCavalier stirs in the ring, holding her jaw as the scene slowly fades out.

 

We open up inside the basement of some sort of underground supercomputer. We see Destiny Page looking at a read out, her eyes darting around.

 

Page: I I don t understand. It s it s deleting everything. Destroying it all

 

Wendell walks over and looks at the screen, a look of horror on his face.

 

Wendell: Dexter! We need your help.

 

Dexter Grant can be seen in the corner, rolling his eyes. He then walks over, as deadpan as ever.

 

Grant: Oh no it s the end of the world. Can I leave now?

 

Page: Dexter please even a favour? I

 

Just then, the lights go out. We then hear a rumbling.

 

Page: Uh .that s not good.

 

Grant: I assume not. At least it won t be trending on social media .

 

We then cut away to see a shot of an explosion in the middle of an open field. The Apocalypse logo comes up on the screen.

 

SCW presents Apocalypse on Sunday, October 25, 2026, only on pay per view!

 

We then open up to see Chris and Ryan Hollywood standing behind the camera.

 

Chris: We needed more existential threat.

 

Ryan: Dexter really is a terrible actor.

 

Chris: Perhaps we can AI him into thin-

 

Before Chris and Ryan can say anything, a clearly computer-generated explosion takes place superimposed on them, destroying both of them as the scene cuts away.

 

We cut to a wide shot inside Ford Field.

 

Sharper: Next time we ll be on pay per view will be on October 25, 2026 for Apocalypse. And tonight s been a wild night already. You wonder who will be World Champion. Who will be in a position to make some waves.

 

Knots: Selena Frost may not play a factor in any of that. How great is that?!

 

 

The first chords of "Immortal" by Ozzy Osbourne begins to play over the PA system as the crowd roars. A few moments pass as we see Glory Braddock walk out from the back, wearing a purple wrestling robe. She steps out and poses on the stage as pyro shoots off on both sides of the stage. Glory s nameplate comes up as she starts to head to the ring.

 

Phillips: The following contest is scheduled for onefall with a thirty minute time limit. First, on her way to the ring, from London, England, she is the British Bombshell, Glory Braddock!

Braddock makes her way down the rampway and reaches the ring. The British Bombshell steps up the steel steps and then onto the ring apron. She poses momentarily on the apron, allowing people to take snapshots before stepping through the ropes and into the ring. Once in the ring Glory heads to the center of the ring and poses once more. She looks around the arena, taking off her robe, and then handing it off to a crew member at ringside. Braddock turns around as her music fades out.

 

Sharper: Glory Braddock all business. She knows this is a huge match. Her loss to Asher Hayes put a bump in her road. But now, La Pequena Luz is looking to derail her for the time being.

 

Knots: But it s Rise to Greatness. Glory Braddock always finds a way to step up. Luz is going to be in for a long night, and that s if she can focus on Glory, not Amelia Nevado!

 

Echoes by Loreen suddenly begins to play as the lights dim, and the Tron immediately comes to life with clips of The Light In The Darkness, from the legendary match between Luz and Amelia in Mexico that put them both on the map and saw the end of Amelia's undefeated ways, to their first tag match together against Amelia's older twin siblings where they ended their lengthy tag title reign. As the song plays on, we essentially see an entire career retrospective of Luz and Amelia together from before SCW and all the success they've had in Mexico and throughout Europe, to their brief first run in SCW, to the second run that still continues to this day, showing not only ever success the couple have had, including their wedding night, but even their failures and setbacks but emphasizing how they've always been there for each other, always fought for each other... as if the entire montage is a trip down memory lane to help one specific person, and the fans have a pretty good idea of who it is as they can't help but slowly cheer as the song ends and the video pauses on the shot of Amelia holding the World Title high at the end of Hubris, with Luz standing behind her and applauding despite the tension that existed between them, reminding everyone that Luz still supported her wife despite everything.

The fans' cheering grows louder as, despite the video finishing and the silence that follows, they spy a figure standing on the stage with her back to the ring, hands folded in front of her like a proper young lady as she wears a white robe with silver sequins that spell out Nevado on the back in cursive, her focus on the video that played above her on the Tron. A few boos manage to slip through, until the camera pans around and reveals the woman is not Amelia Nevado, but is instead La Peque a Luz, which instantly draws cheers. After a few moments, it's not Luz's song that plays, but instead Victorious by Skillet, Amelia's theme song, as Luz slowly turns to face the ring and nods to herself, audibly saying that tonight is for Amelia and for them as a couple. She slowly walks down to the ring, a sight that is very much out of character for the normally-energetic Luz, but tonight she's fully committed to putting herself in Amelia's boots as she takes deep breaths and keeps herself focused.

 

Phillips: Her opponent, from Tulancingo, Hidalgo, Mexico, she is La Pequena Luz!

 

As she reaches ringside, she turns her head towards a group sitting in the front row who are cheering the loudest for her, faces we recognize from some of the clips in the montage and knowing that they are the found family that surrounds Luz, holding up signs telling Luz to bring Amelia home. Luz nods to them as her familiar bright grin finally makes an appearance on this big night. She hops up onto the apron and wipes her feet, pausing to chuckle to herself as she didn't seem to plan on copying one of Amelia's motions this time and just did it anyway, before she grabs the top rope and slingshots herself over it into the ring before she does a familiar fist pump, and while a few boos still trickle through, it's mostly cheers at the sight of Luz really going all out with one last message to Amelia. Luz nods to herself as she removes her robe and gives it a gentle kiss before setting it in her corner, revealing her attire for tonight is a combination of her long tights and Amelia's singlet, all in a pure white color with the usual details in silver, which matches the color scheme of her mask... though if you look close enough, you might be able to catch the design of angel wings worked into the design of her mask tonight, both paying homage to her late father and perhaps declaring herself a certain someone's angel watching over them tonight.

 

Sharper: La Pequena Luz clearly focusing on the big picture. She has seen this as an opportunity beat Glory Braddock, beat someone Amelia has struggled against in singles action, but she s also thinking about her partner who is going into the biggest match of her career.

 

Knots: She can try all she wants. Amelia has made her approach. Amelia shouldn t waver. I know people are hoping Luz and her will be all lovey-dovey. Amelia Nevado is the champion she needed to be. And Luz should focus on Glory. If not, Glory is going to eat her up!

 

The bell sounds as Braddock and Luz look at one another. Braddock reaches up as if going for a test of strength. Luz then reaches up, but Braddock advances and kicks her in the ribs. She then nails her with a hard forearm. She drills her again and Luz falls to a knee. She gets back up and Braddock kicks her in the ribs and hits a snap suplex. The crowd looks on as Luz rolls over, trying to get away, but Glory then knees her in the ribs. She then grabs Luz and whips her hard into the far corner. Luz hits the turnbuckle and falls over, face first into the mat. The crowd ohs as Braddock looks at Luz.

 

Sharper: And an aggressive start from Braddock. Remember, she s coming off a big loss to Asher Hayes. She thought she d be a frontrunner to a future title shot. That s now in some doubt.

 

Knots: And remember Bree, Alistaire, Gavin, there s a laundry list of people that are waiting!

 

Sharper: And I don t think Luz expected this. Luz is part of that list too.

 

Braddock watches Luz as Luz winces, grabbing at her mask, before then starting to pull herself up in the corner. Braddock then runs at Luz, but Luz gets a boot up. Braddock staggers off. She turns back in and Luz boots her again in the face. Luz runs out and goes for a flying headscissors, but Braddock grabs her and flips her through to her feet and then chops her. The crowd woos. She chops her again. More woos. Braddock then grabs Luz and whips her across the ring. Luz flips up the corner and ends up sitting on the top rope. Braddock runs over and clubs her in the back. She clubs her again and then turns, going for a crucifix powerbomb. She goes to pull Luz off, but Luz hooks her legs on the top turnbuckle. Braddock tries again, but Luz keeps her legs entangled around the turnbuckle. Braddock turns around and clubs her in the back once and then again and again. She then turns and grabs Luz and grabs his arms again. This time, she manages to pull Luz off the top turnbuckle but then when she goes to hoist her up, Luz counters with a frankensteiner!

 

Sharper: And there s the agility! Braddock may be taking the fight to Luz. Making it so she has to win, but Luz has shown her resilience all year long!

 

Knots: And not the counter Braddock wanted!

 

Braddock gets up and lunges at Luz but Luz hits a drop toehold, driving her back down. Braddock gets up to her hands and knees and Luz steps up, hooks her arm and goes for a La Magistral cradle!

Braddock kicks out. Braddock and Luz get up and Braddock goes for a clothesline. Luz ducks and hits the ropes before jumping up for a monkey flip. She then drops back, but instead, manages to flip Braddock forward, instead of over and into a sunset flip style pin!

Braddock kicks out. Both get up and Luz runs at Braddock and jumps up, twisting her body into a wheelbarrow leg scissors. He pops up and hits a bulldog. Luz goes for the pin.

Sharper: And Luz now using her agility. A hard bulldog. Braddock face first into the mat.

 

Knots: Temperature turns up at Rise to Greatness time. Both putting all of the pressure on themselves. Welcome to the fire out of the frying pan!

 

Both get up and Luz runs at Braddock. Braddock ducks a clothesline. She bounces off the other side and slides between Braddock s legs. Both get up and Luz jumps up and this time appears to go for a monkey flip. Instead, Braddock catches her and spins her around and seats her on the top rope. Braddock then shoves Luz back, but Luz hooks her feet under Braddock s arms and sets her up and over the top rope to the floor as Luz hooks her arm and remains on the apron. Luz pulls herself back into the ring. (1) Braddock slowly starts to get up on the floor. She looks up and steps forward. (2) Luz runs across the ring, bouncing off the other side and dives through the ropes before somersaulting onto Braddock, taking her down in the entrance way! (1)

 

Sharper: Tope suicida into the somersault plancha! And Luz takes down Braddock!

 

Knots: Just a cannonball right at her head!

 

Luz rolls over and looks up. She then grabs Braddock, dragging her up. (2) She drags her to the ring and rolls her in. She then slides in and goes for the pin.

Braddock kicks out. Luz pulls Braddock up to her knees and nails her with a hard forearm and then another. She then hits a shoot kick to the chest. Braddock rolls back, but to her knees. Luz turns and runs into the ropes. She bounces off, but Braddock steps up and hooks her up by the arm and then pulls back on Luz s head and hits a reverse DDT. The crowd ohs. Braddock rolls away and pulls herself up. Luz rolls over and stirs. She moves to the corner and Braddock follows up and nails her with a hard right. She then whips her across the ring hard, again. This time, Luz staggers out and Braddock kicks her in the ribs. She steps forward and Braddock hooks Luz up, hoisting her up and hitting a high angle back suplex.

 

Sharper: And just a hard landing. A bit of add oomph to force the air out of Luz!

 

Knots: You d think Braddock hates Luz.

 

Sharper: Not hate. Respect for how dangerous Luz is. She s not holding anything back. That s Glory Braddock the competitor.

 

Braddock goes for the pin.

Luz kicks out. Braddock turns and grabs Luz by her head, pulling her up. She then turns and Irish whips her into the ropes. Luz bounces off and Braddock hits a back body drop. Luz hits the mat and turns and Braddock pushes her into the corner chest first. Braddock then hits a forearm shot to the lower back of Luz. She follows up with another one. She then pulls her out and then snapmares her over. She pulls back on the arms of Luz and locks in a straightjacket sleeper! The official, Steve Hollinsworth, checks on Luz.

 

Sharper: And Braddock now looking to go to her strength, her technical skill. Locking in a variant of a sleeper here.

 

Knots: Going to make it so Luz doesn t have to worry about Amelia anymore.

 

Luz looks around as Braddock keeps pulling back. The crowd making noise as they look on. Luz reaches around and starts to get her feet under her. Braddock keeps the hold on and Luz then manages to get up to her feet. Braddock keeps pulling back before Luz manages to push up on Braddock s arms and then flips forward before then kicking Braddock in the leg. She falls to a knee and Luz turns and goes for a Blight Choke! The crowd roars as Luz tries to lock in the hold of her partner, but Braddock manages to twist around and get free before kicking Luz in the ribs. Braddock keeps hold of Luz s arm and then takes her over with a hip throw, but Luz holds on and spins around and then grabs Braddock s other arm. Luz ends up on her back, looking up at Braddock before she pulls her over, holding both hand. Braddock, however, stops it, and rears back and pulls Luz up, launching her up, but she counters with a Mexican destroyer! The crowd ohs. Luz goes for the pin.

Braddock shoots her shoulder up. Luz gets up and Braddock gets up only to then lunge and nails Luz with a clothesline. Luz rolls over as Braddock, winces in pain. She holds her head and neck and takes a moment.

 

Sharper: And that explosive offense from Braddock, a response to Luz and that destroyer.

 

Knots: Just out of nowhere.

 

Sharper: Braddock was pulling her up, perhaps to suplex her, but Luz managed to get some air and countered huge.

 

Braddock uses the ropes to pull herself up, still wincing in pain. Luz starts to get up. Braddock grabs her and drags her up before running her into the corner. Luz stumbles off and moves to the next corner. She then staggers along the ropes and Braddock kicks her in the ribs and then snapmares her over. She then stomps Luz in the back of the head and then in the body. She pulls her up and then just pulls her forward by the tights only to violently throw Luz into the corner. Braddock pulls her forward again and then throws her back into the corner a second time.

 

Knots: Braddock just wearing down Luz.

 

Sharper: Braddock maybe using a different style here. More aggressive. More high impact. Perhaps to throw Luz off her game.

 

Knots: That s why Braddock is a talent like few others. She s taking the tactics and strategery to another level.

 

She then pulls Luz out and hits another snap suplex. She floats over for the pin.

Luz kicks out again. Luz turns and Braddock turns and grabs her and then stomps her in the back. She then turns and crosses her legs over before leaning down on Luz s feet before pulling Luz back and into a kneeling variation of the STF. The crowd looks on as Luz is bent back. The crowd looks on as Braddock keeps the hold on. Luz shakes her head no as Hollinsworth checks on her. Luz keeps resisting, the pain on her face.

 

Sharper: While Braddock has the tactics, Luz has the heart. And she s holding on. She s holding on on principle.

 

Knots: She better be careful or she may not be able to keep fighting.

 

Luz yells out no as Braddock keeps the hold on and Luz starts to push up on her hands and Braddock keeps trying to deal with it. Luz pushes her hands up, but Braddock then lets go and moves quickly into a full nelson. Luz slides down and goes for a leg hook forward rolling pin, but Braddock then grabs her and wheelbarrows her before throwing her up. Luz lands on her feet and Glory grabs her and hits a snap German suplex. The crowd ohs. Braddock then turns and geos for the pin.

Luz kicks out and rolls over as Braddock checks the count with Hollinsworth. Braddock then gets up and grabs Luz, pulling her up by her head and neck and then kicks her in the ribs. Braddock then spins around her and into a school boy.

Luz kicks out. Luz rolls away as Braddock gets up. She grabs Luz and pulls her up and whips her into the ropes. Luz bounces off and Braddock spins around her and sets up for a German suplex, but Luz blocks the waistlock and then twists down into a drop toe hold before popping up and hitting a leg drop to the back of Braddock s head. Braddock rolls over and gets up and throws a hard right, but Luz blocks it and then hits an overhead chop to Braddock. Braddock tries again, but Luz blocks it again and chops her again. She chops her again and again before then going to whip Braddock into the ropes. Braddock spins through and sends Luz in and Luz jumps to the middle rope and then twists from the springboard and into a huge tornado DDT! Braddock sits up from the impact and Luz then turns and runs into the ropes, bouncing off and hitting a running spinning heel kick, knocking her back down. Luz goes for the pin.

 

Sharper: Huge tornado DDT! And then the heel kick! Now the cover! The cover!

 

Knots: She got Braddock huge there!

Braddock kicks out. Luz rolls off. She gets up as Braddock rolls over and starts to get up and turns to Luz who hits a dropkick to the face. Braddock falls back and into a seated position in the corner. Luz gets up and runs around the ring before running at Braddock and hitting a running dropkick to the face of Braddock. Braddock rolls over and to the apron. Luz turns and drags her back and positions her before then jumping to the middle rope and then to the top rope and hitting a split-legged moonsault onto Braddock. She hooks the leg.

Luz looks up and then grabs Braddock dragging her up and nailing her with a forearm shot before then moving her to the ropes to whip her across, but Braddock ducks under and pulls Luz in. Luz jumps up and onto Braddock s shoulders, the electric chair position. Braddock throws Luz forward and sets up for a German suplex. Luz elbows her in the jaw. Braddock lets go and Luz goes for a kick. Braddock catches it. Luz hops for a moment before hitting an enziguri, knocking Braddock onto the middle rope. Luz then grabs the top rope and goes for a springboard leg drop to the back of Braddock s head. She falls back and rolls over. She starts to get up and Luz springboards to the top rope and then dives forward, but Braddock ducks a clothesline attempt. Luz lands on her feet and rolls through. She steps up and Braddock hits the Gloria in Excelsis Dio. Luz falls back to the mat. The crowd ohs. Braddock looks around and crawls to the ropes.

 

Sharper: Braddock caught her! Gloria in Excelsis Dio!

 

Knots: Luz may be out!

 

Sharper: Braddock not going for the pin though!

 

Braddock exits the apron and climbs up to the top rope. She looks over at Luz and then dives off with the London Plunge! Braddock rolls over, holding her head. She winces and turns to Luz and hooks the leg.

Luz just gets her shoulder up. The crowd roars. Braddock then turns and looks around and grabs Luz by the head and then arm and starts to move for the Shekinah Glory, while on the mat. Luz moves to the ropes. Hollinsworth calls for the break. Braddock lets go and gets up and pulls Luz out and nail her with a hard right. She then spins her around and goes for a German suplex, but Luz backflips through. Braddock rolls over and gets up and Luz kicks Braddock s leg out from under her. Braddock lands on her back and Luz hits a standing shooting star press!

 

Sharper: Shooting Star! Cover!

Braddock gets her shoulder up. The crowd ohs. Braddock rolls over and ends up on her hands and knees. Luz runs across to the far ropes and jumps to the middle rope. She spins around on the rope and dives off with a leg drop to the back of Braddock s head. Braddock hits the mat and rolls over to the ropes. Luz then gets up and runs across the ring and bounces off before hitting a tiger feint kick to Braddock. Braddock falls back. Luz ends up on the apron. The crowd roars.

 

Sharper: Luz with the spinning kick through the ropes. Braddock down!

 

Knots: Braddock! You may be about to question a lot more!

 

Luz waits as Glory starts to pull herself up. She gets up and Luz springboards to the top rope. She jumps forward. Glory sidesteps and spins around Luz. She grabs her by the arms and starts to turn her around for the Glorification, but Luz then breaks free and jumps up and goes for the Lights Out, but Glory falls forward and grabs at the ropes. Luz lands on the mat. She rolls over and Glory steps up and grabs her arm and locks in the Shekinah Glory. The crowd roars as Glory starts to choke Luz out. Luz, however, pushes up. Glory tries to lock in the hold more and Luz keeps trying to move before pushing off with her legs and into a jackknife pin, causing Glory to get folded up. Luz actually holds onto the legs, keeping the hold in. Glory struggles.

Glory kicks out as the bell sounds. Luz lets go and rolls over. Glory turns and looks at the official as Luz s music plays and Luz has her arm raised.

 

Phillips: Here is your winner, via pinfall, La Pequena Luz!

 

Sharper: Glory Braddock had the Shekinah Glory in and Luz with a counter and managed to pin her!

 

Knots: How did she do that?

 

Sharper: She had her legs hooked. She kept the leverage on and the hold actually working against Glory! A brilliant counter and look at Glory. Glory even is a bit impressed.

 

Glory looks at Luz and just nods as Luz rolls over, catching her breath, leaning against the ropes.

 

The RTG XXIII logo comes up on the screen.

 

REPLAY:

We see Braddock jumping up and locking in the Shekinah Glory. We see Glory trying to lock it in fully as Luz struggles. This battle continues for a few moments before Luz flips forward. We then see Luz grabbing the legs of Glory, causing her to lose the leverage to kick out by keeping her constricted. Glory can be seen trying to get free as Luz holds on, her eyes starting to close, suggesting the hold was also taking affect.

Sharper: And Glory Braddock, she believed in herself last year. A bit more of a challenge this one as it looks like a few people have caught up to her. Luz tonight and maybe a sign also of things to come!

 

The Rise to Greatness logo returns to the screen as we see Glory Braddock watching the replay on the big screen before shaking her head. She starts to head to the back as Luz continues to celebrate in the ring.

 

Backstage, we open up to see Kemal Yilmaz finishing his stretches as he gets up. Ginny Raab walks over to him as we see the rest of the European Fiery Nation behind him.

 

Ginny: You ready?

 

Yilmaz: More than ready.

 

Dakon: We ll be right behind you.

 

Yilmaz: No .

 

Yilmaz pauses a moment. Ginny looks at him.

 

Yilmaz: Not tonight. Konrad said I need to make sure this was the right decision. That s going to be done by me standing up to his moment myself.

 

Oskar steps up, wincing a bit.

 

Oskar: You sure? This is big

 

Yilmaz: I ve got it. I ll take care of it. I know the stakes.

 

Yilmaz turns to Ginny.

 

Ginny: I think Konrad would be proud.

 

Yilmaz: I hope so

 

Yilmaz then walks out with Ginny following as we cut back to the ring.

 

SCW Underground Championship

 

The bell sounds.

 

Phillips: The following contest is a fatal fourway match scheduled for onefall with a thirty minute time limit and is for the SCW Underground Championship!

 

The SCW Underground Championship logo comes across the screen. The lights in the stadium dim for a few moments before a spotlight shines down on the stage. A few moments pass before the opening chords to Patient Number 9 by Ozzy Osbourne begin to play. A haunting voice is heard

"Is there a way out of here?"
"Hey, how long you been here?"
"I wanna go home"
"Hey, hahaha"
"Hahaha"
"Excuse me, could you tell how to get out of here?"
"Hahaha"

"Mommy, mommy"

The stadium lights return as fire shoots out from the stage as Kimberly Williams walks out from the back, arms outstretched. She smirks as the crowd cheers loudly. She looks around and spins around before then tapping the side of her head before then pointing to the ring. Her nameplate comes up.

 

Phillips: First, the challengers, from Boston, Massachusetts, she is the Woman Scorned, the Wild Card, Kimberly Williams!

 

Kimberly Williams bolts down the rampway making the long run down the rampway. The camera follows her as she runs down to the ring before getting to the ring and sliding into the ring. She then rolls to her knees and looks around before getting up and posing for the crowd. The crowd cheers again before she then starts to walk around the ring, clearly ready for her match.

 

Sharper: Kimberly Williams has waited for this opportunity for months. She wants to get back her title. She s going to get her chance-

 

Knots: And chaos is going to reign and dumb people are going to maim themselves. This hopefully is the last time we see this garbage!

 

Wasteland by Pentagram, aka Mezarkabul, plays over the sound system as Kemal, wearing the black and red venom mask comes through the curtain, holding up his Turkey flag, wearing Turkey flame flag shorts with The European Fiery Nation logo attached to his shorts, wearing MMA gloves and wrestling boots with Ginny Raab behind him. He gets many boos as he walks to the ring, ignoring the fans.

Phillips: Next, representing the European Fiery Nation, accompanied to the ring by Ginny Raab, from Istanbul, Turkey, he is The Turkish Acid... Kemal Yilmaz!

He jumps up to the ring and gets underneath the ropes before holding them open for Ginny to get in, and he raises his fist in the air, looking at the crowd with Ginny applauding Kemal before he puts himself in a corner. He holds the ropes open again for Ginny to leave the ring before turning to the opposite end of the corner and looking towards the stage, waiting for the match to begin.

 

Knots: That s the man to watch. Can he get it done? He wins and this is all over. Kemal you can make your career tonight!

 

Sharper: Frank Delatosso putting Yilmaz into this match with the hopes that if he wins, he will hand over the title to Delatosso and Delatosso has made it clear. He does it, he ll give the EFN plenty in return.

 

Knots: As he should!

 

Sharper: And Konrad Raab, who was at Breakdown a few weeks ago, correctly pointed out, and asked, if Yilmaz is really sure what he s getting into. Especially given what the Underground meant to him!

 

The opening chords of AFI's I Hope You Suffer starts to play as the video wall blazes to life with the violent and epic SCW history of David Striker, all of his epic highlights thus far in the company from his wars with Kimberly Williams to his fall from the top of the scaffold at RTG and then his insane return on Breakdown is shown as the man himself slowly walks out onto the entrance way.

Phillips: Next, currently residing in South Town, Florida, he is The Dark Horse... David Striker!

As the song enters its first chorus David Striker heads down to the ring. David Striker continues to head to the ring, stoically focusing on the task ahead of him. Once he gets there, he wipes his feet off on the ring apron and slips into the ring.

David thumps his chest twice before raising it to the sky before quickly throwing his ring coat off. He starts to move towards Kemal, but referee Steve Hollinsworth quickly gets between them to make sure this match starts on his signal.

 

Sharper: David Striker already wanting to get in there.

 

Knots: Of course he does. He s a loose cannon.

 

Sharper: And he s looking to make tonight a night he finally gets that Underground Championship. He s been gunning for it for so long.

 

Knots: At least he can watch it die!

 

The opening riff to Song for the Dead by Queens of the Stone Age kicks in. At the 37 second mark, the name "Asher Hayes" blares through the PA system, and Asher appears on the stage, wearing a long leather jacket, his face full of focus. The SCW Underground Championship is around his waist. He bows down for a few moments before standing up straight, throwing both fists in the air, before making his way towards the ring.

 

Phillips: And finally, from Chicago, Illinois, he is the SCW Underground Champion, Asher Hayes!

He makes his way down the ramp as the reaction of the crowd rains down upon him. He walks up the ring steps and climbs to the top turnbuckle, lifting both fists into the air, slinging the jacket off his shoulders, simply looking at the crowd before dropping down and running to the opposite side.

He stands, once again, on the top rope. His expression remains focused as he looks toward the ceiling, before dropping down, removing his jacket and handing his belongings to a crew member.

Sharper: Asher Hayes, huge title defense. And he himself has a chip. He s not really viewed as part of the Underground despite holding this title for months now.

 

Knots: Yeah, yeah, yeah.

 

Sharper: And tonight, he s going to have to fight. This is going to be a war!

 

We cut to a wide shot as Hayes hands off his SCW Underground Championship. The official, Steve Hollinsworth, holds the title over his head and then hands it off. Asher looks at his opponents, as Kim smiles, getting ready. David Striker looks around as Kemal s eyes dart around.

 

Sharper: You can see everyone just eying everyone else.

 

Knots: Yeah. Because they re all just nuts for being in this match. Kemal Yilmaz can finally stop this unnecessary maiming!

 

Hollinsworth steps back and the bell sounds. Immediately, we see Kemal Yilmaz run over and grab Kim and spin her around and hit a hip throw over the top rope to the floor. Asher Hayes then runs over to Kemal and pulls him back from the ropes and then hits a pump knee to the jaw, knocking him back and over. Asher turns as David spins him around. David then smacks him in the jaw. Asher turns away and then nails him with a hard right and David fires back with one of his own. They trade blows, going back and forth and back and forth before Hayes knees David in the ribs. He then runs into the ropes, but David then steps up and drills Asher with a shotei. Asher falls back and through the ropes to the floor. David then stands in the ring, arms out. Kemal then gets up and David grabs him and throws him out of the ring, sidestepping an attack.

 

Sharper: And Kemal thrown over as David Striker stands in the ring.

 

Knots: Wanted Asher s respect. Maybe he has it now.

 

David sees Asher Hayes as Hayes stirs in the entrance way. Striker turns and runs into the ropes, but Kim then nails him in the back with something. Striker falls forward and down to his knees. He then slowly gets up as Kim reveals a pair of staple guns in her hands. The crowd roars. She rolls in and David Striker gets up and Kim goes to staple him, but Striker kicks her in the ribs. He then grabs one of the guns and pulls it away before Kim then swings and goes to nail him with the other one. Striker kicks her in the ribs again and then grabs the second gun. He then takes it and pries it open and just looks at Kim. He then shakes her head and nails her in the head with the deconstructed staple gun. Kim goes down as the crowd ohs. Hayes slides into the ring and Striker turns as Asher kicks him in the ribs.

 

Sharper: And Striker having no time for Kimberly Williams and her staple guns.

 

Knots: One s still in there. Just get it out of there.

 

Hayes nails Striker again with a hard right. He then fires him into the ropes. Striker bounces off and Hayes powerslams him over. The broken staple gun bounces out of the ring. Asher then looks around and goes over to Kemal, but Kemal jumps up and hits a guillotine drop on the middle rope. Asher falls back and holds his throat. Kemal then looks under the ring and pulls out a steel chair. He slides into the ring with it and then gets up and slams it onto the back of Hayes. The crowd ohs from the impact. Striker gets up and Kemal throws the chair into his face. Striker staggers as Kemal then grabs him by the head and pulls him back into a dragon sleeper. He then scissors his body as the crowd boos.

 

Sharper: Yilmaz with the dragon sleeper. Looking to make Striker to tap out or pass out!

 

Knots: Come on! This could be quick. And huge. Kemal wins it and this farce is over!

 

Striker struggles as Kemal pulls back. Kim then pulls out a barbed wire board and slides it into the ring. She then stops before looking under and grabbing something else. It s a barbed wire wrapped bat. She rolls into the ring. She then gets up and Kemal looks up as his eyes widen. Kim smiles and then jumps up and just drives the bat down into Kemal s head. Kemal lets go and rolls over, in pain. He then gets up, wincing as blood comes down his forehead and Kim then grabs the bat by both ends and swings, nailing Kemal in the head again. Kemal falls into the ropes and falls to the apron. Kim then looks at him before turning and seeing Striker rolling to his hands and knees and Kim slams the bat into his lower back. Striker yells out as Kim then scrapes the bat along his back and Striker rolls over, kicking at the mat in pain. Kim then looks around before throwing the bat down. Hayes rolls to the apron as Kim goes to grab her still function staple gun. She then holds it up as Kemal looks up and Kim then reaches into her gear and pulls out a $100 bill.

 

Knots: Hey! He s not going to accept a bribe!

 

Sharper: I don t think that s what she s going for. Though I do think Kemal s been bought!

 

Kemal looks up, blood coming down his face already. Kim then reaches through and places the bill on his forehead. She then turns and staples it into his forehead. The crowd ohs as Kemal grimaces and Kim then staples it in again. Kemal falls slowly to the side, the bill still attached. Kim then smirks before she looks around and we see David Striker running at her and nailing her with a steel chair. The crowd ohs. David Striker staggers around as we then see Asher Hayes rolling into the ring, holding a pair of fluorescent light tubes. David turns around and Hayes looks at him and swings, nailing him in the head with one tube. David falls to a knee and Hayes then takes the other one and baseball swings it into the side of his head. The crowd ohs.

 

Sharper: Hayes with the light tubes. We saw him with these on Breakdown. And now two to the head of Striker!

 

Knots: Do you know what s in those?!

 

Sharper: And Striker down, but the broken tube and now Hayes using it!

 

Hayes takes the tube starting to grind it into the forehead of Striker. Striker yells out in pain as Hayes keeps cutting him. Blood comes down his forehead as Hayes pulls away. He then gets up and turns and Kim nails Hayes with the Morrigan s Wrath. Kim looks around and then sees Striker down before seeing Hayes. She then goes over to the barbed wire wrapped board and drags it up and places it into the corner. Hayes stirs and Kim turns and heads over to Hayes and grabs him and drags him up. She then goes to run him into it, but Hayes blocks it. He reaches out, touching the sides of the board, trying to hold her off. She tries again and Kim nails him with a hard right and then another and another before backing up and moving to the middle of the ring. She then runs towards him, but Hayes side steps. Kim stops herself. She then turns around and Hayes hits a back elbow. Kemal Yilmaz then pulls out a chair from inside the ring. He then slowly rolls in as Hayes turns and grabs Kim and then hoists her up, but Kim spins through and lands him behind him. Kemal then runs over and slams the chair into the back of Kim, knocking Hayes forward, and both go into the barbed wire. The crowd ohs. Hayes and Kim pull away and Kemal unfolds the chair and places it into the next corner. He turns back and hoists Kim up onto his shoulder before falling back with an air raid crash into the unfolded chair in the corner. Kim goes through it.

 

Sharper: Oh! Kemal drives Kim through the chair. Slamming her through!

 

Knots: Good! She s a mess! Cover her!

 

Kemal does just that, pulling her out of the mangled chair and covering her.

Hayes breaks it up. Kemal rolls over and Hayes nails him with a hard right. Yilmaz rolls over again and gets to his knees. Hayes gets up and chops him. The crowd woos. He chops him again and Kemal falls through to the apron. Kemal walks around as Hayes then looks under the ring. He grabs a kendo stick as we see David Striker placing the barbed wire board off the corner and down onto the mat. Kim starts to get up and David grabs her and then wrenches her arm and hits a Shadowblade into the barbed wire. The crowd ohs.

 

Sharper: My God. Striker maiming himself and Kim!

 

Knots: DDTing her into the barbed wire.

 

He rolls her over, only tearing at both of them, and then goes for the pin.

Kim gets her shoulder up. Striker looks at her and then rolls out of the ring. Kim rolls over as we see Striker cut up all over his back and forehead. He then starts to look into the ring as Asher nails Kemal in the back with the kendo stick. The crowd ohs. Kemal staggers forward and Asher nails him again . Kemal falls to the mats, right by the entrance way. He starts to get up and Asher swings at his head. Kemal ducks. Asher staggers forward and we then see Striker holding three taped up light tubes and climbing to the top rope. Hayes and Yilmaz grab one another and Striker dives off the top rope with frog splash style crossbody into both, shattering the light tubes between all three. The crowd ohs as Striker rolls over to the entrance way. All three at down as the crowd continues to roar.

 

Knots: This idiot just dove off the top and hurt himself too!

 

Sharper: The Underground is sacrifice. To push yourself to the farthest limit with no limits! And Striker embodies it!

 

Striker rolls over as we then see Kim pulling out a pair of wire cutters from her boot. She starts to cut some of the barbed wire from the barbed wire wrapped board. She keeps working at it as the crowd focuses on her. She then places the cutters back into her boot before then taking the barbed wire she cut off her and starts to wrap it around her. The crowd roars as Kim then turns and climbs up to the top rope. Kemal, Asher, and David all get up. Kim then finishes her quick wrap up and dives off onto all three. The crowd erupts.

 

Sharper: And Kim from the top! Wrapped in barbed wire!

 

Knots: What the hell is there to say?!

 

Sharper: How about what won t they do to win! Take a look

 

REPLAY:

 

We see David Striker diving off the top rope with the frog splash crossbody, assisted by light tubes, into Hayes and Yilmaz. The RTG XXIII logo comes up on the screen before we see Kim hit a flip dive off the top rope, while wrapped in barbed wire, onto her three opponents.

Kim stirs as she starts to pull the barbed wire off of her. She crawls over to the ring and looks under the ring. She then starts to pull out another device of destruction, a bed of nails.

 

The crowd roars as Kim slides out the bed of nails. The crowd roars some more as Kim then smiles. She sits it against the ring apron. She then turns to Asher and pulls him up. Asher looks at her and Kim then turns and goes to throw him into it, but Hayes spins through and sends her back first into the bed of nails. The crowd ohs. Kim grimaces in pain before we see Yilmaz get up and dropkick her in the chest. She falls into the nails and then falls over, the back of her shirt torn with blood coming through. Hayes then throws the bed of nails down, almost slamming it onto Striker. Hayes then kicks Yilmaz in the ribs and then hits a DDT onto the back of the bed of nails, Yilmaz s head bouncing off the wood. Hayes goes for the pin.

Striker backs it up. Hayes rolls over. He then crawls away as Striker crawls in the opposite direction around the ring. Yilmaz rolls over.

 

Sharper: And Kim s plan backfired.

 

Knots: I m sure she ll have another one!

 

Sharper: Hayes and Striker both crawling around the ring.

 

Knots: Looking for more ways to maim each other.

 

Hayes crawls over to the ring and looks under. He then starts to pull out something in a wooden frame. But we then see Striker, more light tubes in his hand, and he rolls into the ring. He yells out at Hayes. Hayes looks up and Striker hits a running dropkick through the ropes, driving the light tubes into Hayes face. The crowd ohs. Striker hangs off the ropes and smirks before looking at him.

 

Striker: Like the tubes. You think that s hardcore, huh?

 

Striker rolls back into the ring and then walks over to the barbed wire bat. He grabs it as Yilmaz rolls in and then Striker turns and swings at him, but Yilmaz ducks. Both spin around and Yilmaz kicks him in the ribs, double underhooks him, and hits the Istanbul Acid Driver onto the barbed wire board. The crowd ohs. Yilmaz grimaces in pain and rolls Striker over and covers him.

Striker gets his shoulder up. Yilmaz rolls off. We then see Kim reaching under the ring and pulling something off. She struggles with it and we see Yilmaz then walking around the ring and looking at the barbed wire bat. He then turns and just drops it down onto Hayes on the floor. The crowd ohs. Yilmaz just shakes his head.

 

Knots: How do you like that Hayes? Huh?

 

Sharper: Just disrespecting him. Adding more insult to injury.

 

Yilmaz then grabs Striker and pulls him back up. He then double underhooks him again, but Striker spins out and then hits a forearm shot. He nails him again with a hard right and then a kick. He goes for a spinning elbow, but Yilmaz ducks and then hits Striker with a European uppercut. Striker staggers before we see Kim rolling into the ring, wearing a pair of gloves, but with thumb tacks tapped to them. She then steps up and nails Yilmaz with a hard right. He falls back, holding his head in pain. She then turns and nails Striker with a shot. He falls back into the corner. Kim then pushes him back by the chest. Striker struggles as Kim pulls away and we see thumb tacks on the palms of her gloves. Kim then nails Striker with a hard right and then another and another and another. Striker drops down to his knees. Yilmaz then gets up and steps up and Kim hits a knife-edge chop. The crowd woos as Kemal rolls over, holding his chest in immense pain.

 

Sharper: An almost literal knife-edged chop!

 

Knots: How is this okay? How is this okay!

 

Sharper: And Yilmaz, bleeding from the chest.

 

Kemal turns and Kim chops him again. Kemal then kicks her in the ribs and then hits a running European uppercut. She drops to the mat as Striker then steps out and hits the Viva La BAM on her. He then starts to get up and Kemal then wrenches the arm and starts to try for the Turkish Acid Cross, but Striker remains on his knees. He blocks it and nails Yilmaz in the ribs with a shot and then another before then hitting a shotei. He falls through the ropes and to the apron. He then turns and gets up. We see Hayes then step up and pulls Yilmaz back as Striker runs at him with a spear, but instead goes through the ropes and flips forward and into a board, an explosion going off. We then cut away as the crowd ohs and we see Striker into a board with barbed wire and smoke coming off. The crowd roars.

 

Knots: What the hell?!

 

Sharper: Asher Hayes was pulling something out did he bring a board with a trip wire!

 

Knots: What the hell?!

 

Sharper: He made sure Striker would go into it!

 

The crowd chants Holy Shit! as Yilmaz looks over. Hayes then grabs him and runs him along the apron, driving him face first into the ringpost. Yilmaz falls to a knee. Hayes then backs up and seems to set up for the Dust to Dust, but instead, he s stopped by Kim who grabs him and then pulls him into the ring with the thumb tacks on her gloves, ripping at him. Hayes pulls away, holding his right arm, as blood comes down it. He then starts to get up and Kim hits an open hand chop to the chest. Hayes turns, wincing in pain. He then stands up and Kim then grabs him in the crotch. The crowd roars as Hayes grimaces in pain. He then grabs Kim and pushes her away. Hayes then swings with a hard right, but Kim then ducks and spanks him. Hayes falls to the ropes. Kim then goes to nail Hayes, but instead, Yilmaz enters and spins her around, kicking her in the ribs and then hitting a high angle sitout powerbomb onto a chair. The crowd ohs.

Kim kicks out. She rolls to her stomach, but Hayes then grabs her by the arm and pulls her glove off. She starts to struggle, but Yilmaz grabs the other one and pulls it off. He then turns and just slaps Hayes with it. Hayes turns and then headbutts Yilmaz stunning him. He then takes the gloves and starts to jam it into the mouth of Yilmaz. He then forces Yilmaz to keep the mouth closed before jumping up and hitting an enziguri kick to the face. Yilmaz falls over, trying to spit out the glove before pulling out and spitting up blood.

 

Knots: He jammed the thumb tack glove into his mouth! The hell!

 

Sharper: Hayes embracing the Underground. Coming here with light tubes, explosives, and willing to do anything.

 

Hayes then stomps Yilmaz. He then turns around and as Kim grabs the barbed wire wrapped bat and swings, nailing Hayes in the face. Hayes spins off and down to the mat. Kim goes for the pin.

Hayes gets his shoulder up. Yilmaz crawls over and Kim nails Hayes with a couple of hard rights before grabbing the bat and starting to grind it into Hayes face. The crowd ohs as Hayes s face starts to become covered in blood.

 

Sharper: Everyone a bloody mess in this one!

 

Knots: And Yilmaz what s Yilmaz doing!

 

Yilmaz meanwhile reaches into the boots of Kim and pulls out the wire cutters. She then notices this and kicks at him before then pulling the barbed wire wrap away before Yilmaz drives her in the forehead with the cutters. She staggers and Yilmaz then starts to squeeze them around the nose of Kim. The crowd ohs as Kim grimaces in pain and Yilmaz keeps starting to squeeze them.

 

Knots: A free nose job for Kim!

 

Sharper: Those wire cutters! Those can maim!

 

Knots: And what the hell is that?!

 

We then see David Striker crawling into the ring. He then low blows Yilmaz. The crowd ohs. Yilmaz turns as Kim stands up and Striker hits the ropes and hits a double shotei, taking both down. He then staggers out of the ring. He then looks around and looks under the ring. Hayes crawls over to the barbed wire bat. He starts to uses it to get up. Kim and Yilmaz stir and both start to get up. Striker then pulls out a table and slides into the ring. He then reaches under and grabs a bag and rolls in. Hayes nails Yilmaz with the bat, knocking him over. He turns and nails Kim with a shot. Both fall over. The camera catches both still bleeding as Hayes now stands over Kim and starts to grind the bat into her face. Kim yells out as Hayes does this. Striker then slides in and unfolds the table, setting it up. Hayes notices this and turns around and Striker boots him in the face, knocking him down. Striker turns back and grabs the bag he had grabbed and opens it up before looking in. He gives a smirk before dumping out and whole bunch of thumb tacks onto table. He then throws the bag away before turning and grabbing Hayes. He then bends him over. He hoists him up and hits a snap powerbomb through the table. Striker falls back, collapsing from his own pain. Hayes winces in pain, thumb tacks into his arms, his back, and Striker then falls onto him.

 

Sharper: Powerbomb through the thumb tack covered table!

 

Knots: This dumbass is going to win the title after going through an explosion!

Hayes gets his shoulder up. The crowd erupts as the crowd cheers. Striker rolls over and looks around. The camera cuts to a wide shot, showing the plunder in the ring, along with the bloodied bodies and faces of Yilmaz, Striker, Williams, and Hayes! Striker then rolls to the floor. He moves to the ring and looks under it as Yilmaz and Kim stir. Hayes starts to roll over and moves to the apron. He drops down to the floor as Striker pulls out another bat, but there appears to be something else attached to it. He then rolls over and slowly gets up. Kim and Kemal both get up and Striker looks at them before turning and swinging. Both Kim and Kemal duck and then Striker turns around. Kemal kicks him in the ribs. He drops the bat and Kemal nails Striker with a hard right and then another and another. Kemal then turns around as Kim grabs the barbed wire bat and runs at Striker and nails him with it, sending him up and over the top rope to the floor. The crowd ohs. Kemal grabs the bat Striker brought in and Kim turns and Kemal nails her with it, causing it to spark, almost exploding in the chest and face of Kim. Kim goes down as the crowd ohs.

 

Sharper: Jesus Christ! That was rigged to what the hell are they doing?

 

Knots: See!

 

Sharper: Kim may be down. May be done but here comes Asher and what the hell does he have on his knee!

 

Asher Hayes rolls in, revealing a knee pad covered in thumb tacks. He gets up and runs at Kemal and jumps up and hits the Dust to Dust, driving the tacks and his knee into Kemal s face! The crowd ohs and Hayes turns and covers him.

The bell sounds as Kim dives as she rolls over and Hayes rolls off. He then looks around, blood covering his face.

 

Phillips: Here is your winner, and STILL, SCW Underground Champion, Asher Hayes!

 

Sharper: If there was nay doubt that Asher Hayes could compete in this division, he brought the bloodshed and he s standing tall in the end.

 

Knots: At what cost? Kemal was going to get it. He had Kim down. He could ve finally ended this and against the woman who represents it all!

 

Sharper: And Kim now will need to keep fighting. And Asher Hayes defining himself as someone who is ready to step out of the shadows of his past allies.

 

Hayes gets up as the official hands him the Underground Championship. He drops to his non-thumb-tack-covered knee and takes a moment before holding the title over his head. He falls over as we see officials coming down to help the competitors.

 

As Hayes s music plays we see a still for Syren vs. Bree Lancaster follow.

 

Sharper: Bree Lancaster has to now fight in this? Get all the blood out!

 

Sharper: Bree Lancaster says she ll be the next standard-berarer and Syren s time is at an end. Is that the case? We ll see in a few moments!

The lights dim as a voice backed by piano music fill the arena.

As the heavy music of Imagine Dragons kicks in the lights come back up and Bree Lancaster is standing on the stage, her arms spread wide. She's wearing an open white leather knee length trench coat, trimmed with silver studs and a shiny silver scarf as a belt (a Scott Burnside original of course), over her gear. Bree looks up as white sparks shower down behind her from the top of the set to the stage. Her name plate comes up on the screen.

Phillips: The following contest is scheduled for onefall with a sixty minute time limit. First, on her way to the ring, from New Orleans, Louisiana, she is The Classet, Bree Lancaster!"

Bree continues to hold her arms out as she makes her way down the ramp. The camera pans out showing her making her long walk to the ring. Getting to the ring she walks up the steps and waits for the referee to hold the ropes open for her. Stepping inside. Bree goes to the center of the ring, arms out wide again, and does a slow turn. Bree then goes to her corner as the music fades, removing her coat and draping it over the turnbuckle. She then turns to the entrance way, awaiting the arrival of Syren.

 

Sharper: Bree Lancaster returned at the Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal and since then, she s been firmly as a example for Frank Delatosso and his New Order. And in this, they ve targeted Syren.

 

Knots: It s time for us to move on from Syren. She s been here forever. She s accomplished plenty, but there s a time to move on for a new star, and someone who has deserved better. That s Bree Lancaster. She carries herself as a champion. There s no controversy-

 

Sharper: No controversy? She s in the news right now as she s going through a custody battle-

 

Knots: That has nothing to do with her wrestling. You don t even mention that!

The lights in the arena plunge into darkness. A pulsing sound akin to a heartbeat plays out across the PA system as the fans cheer.

LEXY CHAPEL PRESENTS

The heartbeat gets faster before Groupie by Cassie Steele hits the PA system. After a few moments Syren comes through the curtain, accompanied by Lexy Chapel, who is wearing a matching pantsuit to Syren s wrestling gear. Syren pauses on the stage, looking out at the fans cheering, as Lexy waves her arms, trying to get them to cheer even louder for her client.

Syren walks down the ramp. She jumps up onto the apron before climbing the turnbuckles on the outside and waving her hands to get the fans fired up. As the camera gets closer to her, she shouts at the camera before pointing out at the fans. The camera switches to Lexy who yells about her client and the Lexy Nation appreciating them.

Phillips: Next, being accompanied by Lexy Chapel and representing LexyCorp International, hailing from Los Angeles, California, this is Syren!

Syren smiles before leaping over the top rope, dropping to her knees in the ring, posing with both her arms outstretched, palms facing up. Lexy rolls into the ring and stands over her, pointing down at her client. She offers both her hands to Syren, pulling her up. Syren takes off her ring jacket and hands that to Lexy before taking back the title. She climbs up on the middle rope, posing for a moment and then jumping back down and standing in her corner with Lexy, as her music fades out.

 

Sharper: A familiar look here at Rise to Greatness. Lexy Chapel back in the corner of Syren. Syren looks ready to go. And no one in this sport takes this night more seriously than her.

 

Knots: She better get ready to lick her wounds. Tonight is not going to be night she s going want to remember.

 

Sharper: We shall see. Two former World Champions about to clash here tonight at Rise to Greatness XXIII!

 

Lexy Chapel starts to pound on the mat as the crowd looks on. Bree yells at Lexy to back off as Syren just focuses on Bree. The bell sounds and the two start to circle the ring. They then step up and lock up in the middle of the ring. Bree quickly starts to push Syren back and into the corner. Bree keeps pushing back before Syren spins around and pushes her into the corner. She keeps pushing back on Bree. Bree struggles, but Syren keeps leaning into Bree.

Syren lets go and backs up as Bree looks at her, after the clean break. Syren watches Bree again before the two lock up again in the middle of the ring. This time, Bree drops down and around Syren. She grabs at the leg. Syren fights it, but this allows Bree to put on Syren s leg, putting her in a kneeling position. She then moves into a waistlock. She tries to hoist her, but Syren fights and spins around and takes Bree over. Bree then spins around and grabs the arm of Syren and quickly moves into a hammerlock. Syren looks around and grabs at the head of Bree and pulls herself up. She keeps struggling before then pulling on Bree s leg, causing her to fall to the mat. Syren spins around to face Bree. Bree shoves her off with her boots.

 

Sharper: And both these two accomplished grapples. Both former World Champions. And right now, both going hold for hold!

 

Knots: Yeah, but Bree s just been calling it like she sees it. She s a step ahead. Syren s a step behind. You can see it!

 

Sharper: I don t know what you re talking about. It looks even right now.

 

Bree gets up and rushes Syren. Syren hits an arm drag and hooks the arm. The official checks on Bree, but Bree starts to get up. Syren holds onto her arm and then as they get to their feet, Syren wrenches the arm. Bree winces and then looks up and wrenches it back before moving into a side headlock. A look of annoyance is on her face as she pulls back on the face of Syren. Syren then starts to push Bree into the ropes and fires her off. She bounces off and shoulders Syren down. She turns and runs into the ropes. Syren drops down. Bree hops over and then bounces off the other end. Syren leapfrogs over Bree and Bree rebounds again, but right into a Syren hip toss. Bree gets back up and Syren hits a standing dropkick. Bree rolls over and rushes Syren, but Syren takes him over with an arm drag. Bree winces as Syren holds onto the arm. Syren then pushes it down to the mat and stomps on it. The crowd ohs as Bree rolls away, holding her arm. Syren then gets up and grabs Bree and pulls her arm up and locks in a variation of a key lock.

 

Sharper: And Syren showing she is just as technically sound as Bree Lancaster. She s had the opportunity over the years to learn from some of the best technicians, namely CHBK and Ravyn Taylor.

 

Knots: Yeah, but Lancaster is in a class of her own!

 

Bree looks around and then just lifts up Syren s legs, causing her to slam to the mat. She stays on her for the pin.

Syren rolls out, still with the key lock on! Bree kicks at the mat and then reaches up and rakes the eyes. The crowd boos as Syren les go and rolls over. Bree turns, shaking out her arm and starting to get up.

 

Sharper: And to the eyes!

 

Knots: Willing to do what is needed!

 

Syren gets up and Bree follows up with a hard right. She nails her again with a shot before going to whip her across the ring. Syren, however, spins through and sends Bree in. Bree bounces off and Syren hits a jumping leg lariat. Bree hits the mat. She pops up and turns to Syren who takes her down again with an arm drag. Bree yells out in frustration as Syren smirks. Bree reaches up for the air, but Syren shakes her off. The official again checks on Bree. Bree emphatically says no as Syren then starts to grind her knee into Bree s head. Bree takes it only for a moment before pushing up and starting to get up to her feet. She then starts to pull Syren over, Syren still holding on before spinning her into the corner. Bree then hits a back elbow and then another and another. Syren falls down to a seated position and Bree stomps her in the face. She walks around the ring as official warns him. As she does though, Syren grabs her as Bree walks back and spins her into the corner and nails her with a hard right and then another. She goes to then whip her across the ring, but Bree spins through. Syren bounces off and ducks a clothesline attempt. Syren stops. Bree turns around and Syren hits a Golden Blonde. Bree pops up and Syren goes for the pin, hooking the legs.

Bree kicks out. Syren gets up as Bree pulls herself up and Syren forearms her. She then fires her across the ring into the corner. Syren runs after and Bree goes for a back drop. Syren spins through, ending up on the apron. She then grabs Bree and hits a guillotine drop. Bree staggers back and Syren climbs up to the top rope. She then dives off with a missile dropkick. She crawls over for the pin.

 

Sharper: Syren off the top! Right on target!

 

Knots: Come on Bree! You know you can stuff her!

 

Sharper: She may be done! The cover!

Bree gets her shoulder up. Bree turns and starts to get up. Syren then grabs her and runs her shoulder first into the ringpost. The crowd ohs as Bree falls down to the apron. Bree holds her shoulder in pain as Syren looks around and smiles. Lexy yells at Bree, almost taunting her as Bree then starts to pull herself up. Syren walks over and nails her with a hard right and then another before Bree falls into the ring. She rolls over and moves to the corner. Syren grabs her by the arm and wrenches it. Bree falls to a knee, wincing in pain. She then fights back up to her feet and nails Syren with a hard right and another before ducking under her arm and backing up to the middle of the ring. Syren falls to the ropes, but Bree then hits the Priceless and Syren falls through the ropes to the floor. (1)

 

Knots: SUPERKICK!

 

Sharper: Right to the shoulder blades. Right to the spine!

 

Knots: How s that! Syren may now be done, Sharper!

 

Bree then looks at Syren before stepping through the ropes and to the floor. (1) She then grabs Syren and looks at her before kneeing her in the ribs. (2) Bree then smirks before hooking her up and hitting a snap suplex into the side of the barricade. The crowd ohs. (3) Syren drops down in a heap. Bree gets up and rolls into the ring, the referee warning her. Bree just ignores the referee, rolling back to the floor. She then points at Lexy, taunting her before running over to Syren. (1) She stomps Syren over and over and over again on the floor, against the barricade. She then grabs Syren, lifting her up. (2) She rolls her into the ring. Bree slides in after. She walks around the ring and Syren gets to her hands and knees only for Bree to kick her in the ribs. Syren rolls over in pain. The crowd ohs. Bree then smirks at her before dragging her up. She shakes out her arm before snapmaring Syren over and running into the ropes, bouncing off and hitting a low angle dropkick to her face. The crowd ohs. Bree hooks the leg.

Sharper: And this match turned around. Bree Lancaster with some hard shots to Syren.

 

Knots: She let Syren think she had her. Now Bree is taking over! Just like what is going to happen in SCW after Rise to Greatness. This is the Centu-bree of SCW!

Bree gets up and looks at Lexy briefly before turning to Syren, dragging her up and then drilling her with a hard forearm shiver. Syren falls into the corner. Bree follows up with a stomp to her face and then to the chest and then the face again. She lifts Syren up to her vertical base. She then goes for a hard right, but Syren blocks it and nails Bree with a hard right. She nails her again and then spins through and goes to whip her across the ring. Bree spins through and sends Syren in. She hits the turnbuckle. Bree runs after and Syren gets a boot up. Bree staggers back. Syren runs out, but Bree kicks her in the ribs and then hits a snap DDT. She turns and hooks the leg.

Syren gets her shoulder up. Bree grabs Syren, dragging her up and then sweeps out her leg and then sits her up and then hits the Instant Karma! The crowd ohs. Bree goes for the pin again.

Syren gets her shoulder up again. This time, Bree turns, locking in a leg scissors and going for a reverse chinlock. The official checks on Syren. Lexy yells She says no you asshole!

 

Sharper: Lexy answering for Syren. Syren fighting for her life right now. And Bree looking to sap her of what strength she has.

 

Knots: Just wrapping her up, keeping her close!

 

Syren reaches around, trying to get any leverage. Bree keeps pulling on Syren s neck. Syren then turns and starts to try and sit up, using her strength to push Bree s legs apart. She then manages to roll over and get into a side headlock position. She fights up to her feet and nails Bree with a hard right and then another before then running into the ropes, having gotten free. She bounces off, but Bree nails her with the BOGO on the rebound. The crowd ohs. Syren falls to the mat. Bree then stomps her in face and then the body before going for the pin.

Syren kicks out. Bree rolls over and looks around. She then looks at Syren as Syren slowly rolls over, moving to the ropes. Bree walks over and clubs her in the back. Syren falls back down. Bree gets up and grabs Syren and pulls her up. She then forearms her in the ribs before whipping her into the corner. She runs after, but Syren boots her in the face. Bree staggers back and Syren runs out and hits the Syren s Call! She drives Bree down and Syren rolls through, looking around as both are down. Syren looks up at the crowd as Lexy starts to pound on the mat.

 

Sharper: Huge counter! Huge counter for Syren! The Syren s Call!

Syren rolls over to the ropes. She uses them and starts to pull herself up. (8) Bree starts to stir too. Both get up to their feet and Bree meets Syren with a hard right. Syren fires back with one of her own. Bree nails her again. Syren fights back. They trade blows before Bree gets the advantage, nailing Syren again and again before getting her to the ropes. She fires her across. Syren bounces off the ropes, ducks a clothesline, and then jumps to the middle rope and twists back with a flying forearm smash. The crowd roars. Syren rolls through. Bree gets up again and Syren runs at her and clotheslines her down. Bree pops back up and Syren runs at her and nails her with a second clothesline. Bree gets up again and Syren nails her with the superkick! The crowd roars. Syren looks around, letting out a yell.

 

Chapel: SUPERKICK! SOIREE!

 

Sharper: There s the superkick! Syren got all of it! Bree down!

 

Knots: Oh no come on Bree. Now you can show your heart!

 

Syren goes for the pin, hooking the leg.

Bree gets her shoulder up. Syren looks up, stunned. Both get up and Bree desperately buries her knees in Syren s ribs. She goes for a back suplex, but Syren backflips through. Bree turns around and walks into a second superkick! The crowd roars.

Syren falls to a knee and moves to the corner. Bree starts to stir and starts to get up to her feet. She then gets up and runs at Bree, drilling her with the Face Lift. The crowd ohs. She turns and goes for the pin.

Bree shoots her shoulder up again. Syren rolls off and moves to the corner. She looks at Bree as Bree rolls over and holds her jaw. She starts to fight up to her feet. The crowd roars awaiting what Syren has in mind. Syren then lunges and goes for another superkick, but this time, Bree catches it and then spins her around before jumping up onto Syren s shoulders and hitting the Recoil. The crowd ohs as Syren pops up and falls back. Bree falls to the mat and looks around. She crawls over to Syren and dives onto her, throwing her arm over her.

Syren shoots her shoulder up. The crowd roars. Lexy Chapel looks on relieved.

 

Knots: Damn it! She drove Syren on her head and she still kicked out!

 

Sharper: The Recoil! Countered out of the superkick and Bree Lancaster thought she had beaten Syren!

 

Bree looks around and then starts to pull herself up as Syren rolls over towards the middle of the ring. Bree then steps over and grabs her legs and spins through and goes to lock in the Crescent Lock. The crowd roars as Syren then starts to scramble for the ropes, dragging Bree with her closed and closer before Syren grabs the bottom rope. Bree, frustrated, lets go and gets up and stomps Syren in the side. Syren moves to the apron. Bree walks around the ring and then heads over to Syren before grabbing her, but Syren grabs her and hits a guillotine drop. Bree falls back and Syren looks over and climbs up to the apron. Bree gets back up. Syren then springboards to the top rope and goes for the Beauty Spot, but Bree ducks. Syren lands on her feet and Bree dropkicks her down. Bree rolls over as Syren falls back and roll to the ropes.

 

Sharper: Bree!

 

Knots: Saw it coming!

 

Sharper: The Beauty Spot. No one home. But Bree, keeping it simple. Keeping it painful. The dropkick knocks Syren down and these two have expended so much in this match!

 

Bree starts to get up and Syren grabs at the ropes. Bree runs at her and hits a running knee to the side of Syren s head. Syren staggers out and falls to a knee. Bree then grabs her and pulls her up. She then goes to whip her into the ropes, but Syren spins through and sends Bree in, who sends Syren in, chest first into the ropes. Syren falls back and into Bree who pulls her down into an Okana roll, but Syren rolls through and bridges back.

The bell sounds. The crowd roars as Syren falls forward and rolls to the apron. She smirks as Bree turns and looks up, stunned.

 

Phillips: Here is your winner, via pinfall, Syren!

 

Sharper: Syren caught Bree. And just used Bree s arrogance against her! Many tricks still left up her sleeves and Syren beats Bree!

 

Knots: How the hell? Had to be fast count? She had a shoulder up-

 

Sharper: No controversy at all. Syren just used her momentum against Bree and Bree, who has said Syren s time is coming to an end, Syren disagreed and with her a clear message! What a match! And look at Syren!

 

Syren smiles as Lexy Chapel jumps up and down, pointing at Bree, taunting her. Bree just gets up, annoyed as Syren rolls to the floor. Lexy Chapel excitedly raises her arm. Syren looks at the ring, defiant. The crowd cheers her as Groupie plays throughout the stadium. She then soaks in the moment as Bree turns to the official, trying to intimidate them into changing their decision, to no avail.

 

As Groupie continues to play in the background, the Rise to Greatness logo comes up on the screen. We then see a shot of Gavin Taylor and then one of Chris Dumont before showing both.

 

Sharper: Syren showing she s got plenty left. And she can compete against the best. The man she lost the World Title to months ago, Gavin Taylor, is going to hope to survive.

 

Knots: Dumont should have nothing to do with tonight. Gavin Gavin deserves better!

 

Sharper: He better be ready. Dumont is looking for blood!

 

A hype video for Gavin Taylor vs. Chris Dumont plays to the tune of Dead Man Walking by Against the Current.

 

 

Here Comes Revenge by Metallica plays throughout the arena. The crowd roars as the screens on the stage go off, one at a time, before ending in darkness. A few moments pass before we see Chris Dumont walk out from the back. He looks out at the crowd, his eyes scanning, before he then starts to stretch his neck out and then starts to head to the ring as his nameplate comes up on the screen.

 

Phillips: The following contest is scheduled for onefall with a thirty minute time limit. If anyone interferes, they will be fired. First, on his way to the ring, from New Orleans, Louisiana, he is the Ronin, Chris Dumont!

 

Dumont starts to head to the ring. The crowd roars as he storms down the rampway to the ring. The camera follows him as we cut to a wide shot, showing his long walk to the ring. He gets to the bottom of the ramp and rolls into the ring. He then runs across the ring, bouncing off the ropes on one side and then running across to the other, bouncing off before stopping. He then starts to pace around the ring, all business.

 

Sharper: Chris Dumont came close to beating Gavin Taylor two months ago inside a steel cage. But since then, he s said this isn t done. He s gone after Religious Wright. He s continued to stand against Gavin Taylor. Gavin Taylor, meanwhile, has tried everything to get away from him. Tonight, it s one on one. No allies. No security.

 

Knots: This is a witchhunt. A pure witch hunt. The man fell short before.

 

Sharper: Well the Gavin can rise to the occasion. No flukes. Both have to bring it here. Whoever wins, wins it by themselves.

 

The lights around the arena begin to flicker in red, white, and blue as "Fortunate Son" by CCR starts to play over the arena. We then see two large flags with Gavin Taylor s face on them unfurl on either side of the stage. The crowd roars as the lights continue to flash. A few moments pass before All Star Gavin Taylor steps out from behind the curtain onto the top of the ramp, flanked by his All-Star Secret Service of Jack and Karl Barker, joined by Mr. Black. Jenni Anderson stands with Gavin, waving, before we see Polly Playtime walk out from the back, standing on the stage with them. This leads to some boos from the crowd.

 

Sharper: Well how about that

 

Knots: He believes in her and she believes we can make SCW Gavin Again!

 

As he stands in place, posing with his arms outstretched, the chorus of the song plays. The nameplate comes up on the screen.

 

Phillips: Accompanied by Jenni Anderson, his All-Star Secret Service, and his Minister of Defense, Polly Playtime, from Independence, Missouri, he is the All-Star, Gavin Taylor!

Gavin begins to walk down the ramp with swagger. The entourage with him joins him and follows him to the ring. Chris Dumont looks at them, glaring, as Gavin Taylor smirks. They get to the bottom of the rampway and then Gavin Taylor turns to Jenni Anderson, kissing her on the cheek. He then turns and walks around the ring and hops onto the apron. He hangs out off the ring while holding onto the top rope.

Gavin pulls himself through the ropes and steps onto the second ropes on the opposite side of the ring from the ramp. He opens his jersey, sliding it off his shoulders as he stretches his arms out.

Turning around, he bounces back off the ropes as he then points to Dumont who continues to glare at him. As this is happening, we cut to ringside to see CHBK walking down to ringside, joined by Lucas Knight, Dillusion, and Hiro Tanaka, among other SCW officials. Dean Black stands part way up the ramp, clearly conflicted.

 

Sharper: Gavin Taylor in the ring, and he better be ready, but I think we have a bigger situation. His entourage at ringside and CHBK is making sure they re not there.

 

Knots: They can be there! They have manager s licenses!

 

Sharper: I don t think that matters. CHBK having SCW officials tell them to leave. And look at Dean Black.

 

Knots: Come on! Help your cousin!

 

Sharper: Are they cousins?

 

Knots: I don t know!

 

Gavin turns to the floor and yells at CHBK as CHBK starts to tell Gavin s entourage to leave. Jenni Anderson just rolls her eyes and turns as Polly Playtime gets up in his face.

 

Playtime: This is all because I m here. Come on .throw a punch. Let me kick your ass again!

 

CHBK: Everything about you Polly. Leave or I end this match with Gavin forfeiting!

 

Gavin hears this. He leans through the ropes.

 

Gavin: The hell I do! This is a steal. This is travesty of justice!

 

At this point, officials get between CHBK and Playtime and start to push her back as the All-Star Secret Service looks around. We then see Jenni Anderson walking past Dean Black, looking at him with disgust. Dean looks down as we then cut to the ring as Dumont pulls Gavin into the ring and nails him with a hard right. The crowd erupts as the bell sounds. Dumont nails Gavin again. Gavin staggers around the ring and turns back to Dumont and Dumont nails him again.

 

Knots: What the hell! He wasn t ready! He wasn t ready!

 

Sharper: And Dumont right onto Gavin Taylor!

 

Polly glances back as she s then forced to the back. She just looks down, clearly considering her options as we see Dumont whip Gavin into the ropes in the ring and hit a huge back drop. Gavin rolls over and gets up and Dumont forearms Gavin in the jaw and then knees him in the ribs. He hits a hip throw and then steps over him and pulls him down, wrapping his legs around his body before then just hammering away with overhead blows to the face of Gavin, pounding away on him. Gavin swats at his arm and tries to cover up as Dumont hammers away over and over and over.

 

Sharper: Dumont taking all of the frustrations, going back to when Gavin put him on the shelf!

 

Knots: He was just in the way! Just get out of the way!

 

Sharper: Gavin trying to block each blow and it s not exactly happening!

 

Dumont lets go and Gavin rolls over and crawls to the ropes. He grabs at the ropes and gets up only for Dumont to run at him and clothesline him up and over the top rope to the floor. Gavin lands on his feet from the impact before falling into the barricade and falling back to the mats. He then rolls over and starts to get up. (1) He looks around as Dumont steps through the ropes to the floor. Gavin gets up and Dumont blasts him with a hard right. (1) Gavin falls to the barricade. Dumont then grabs him and turns him to the crowd. Dumont then clubs him in the chest. (2) The crowd roars. Gavin rolls over and grabs at the ring apron. (3) Dumont grabs him and nails him with a hard right. Gavin falls against the barricade. Dumont turns. (4) He nails him again with another hard right. Gavin falls to a knee. (5) Dumont then knees him in the chest over and over and over again. Gavin slides to the floor. (6) Dumont looks at him before shaking his head. He rolls into the ring and then rolls back out. (1)

 

Sharper: And Dumont just teeing off on Gavin Taylor here in Detroit! He s savouring this!

 

Knots: This is terrible. Ref! Get out there! Get them in the ring at least!

 

Gavin starts to get up and Dumont just grabs him and throws him violently back into the barricade. (2) Gavin turns and starts to crawl away. Dumont looks at the crowd briefly, getting a roar from the crowd. (3) He then follows after Gavin. Gavin grabs at the steel steps, using them to get up and Dumont grabs him and then goes to whip him away from the steps, only to pull him back in and back drop him over the steps. The crowd ohs. (4) Dumont turns and walks around. Gavin crawls to the announce table and climbs up it, looking at Knots, grabbing him by his hands and then his tie.

 

Gavin: Get help! Get the GAvin Treaty Organization- :

 

Dumont pulls Gavin back and then drives him face first into the table. The crowd ohs. He lifts him up and does it again. (5) Dumont then looks at Knots and points at him, threatening him.

 

Knots: Hey! Hey! I m allowed to stand with who I want for SCW s future!

 

Sharper: Well you can help him-

 

Knots: Yeah and give that CHBK a chance to fire me. The fans don t deserve that hell!

 

Dumont then spins Gavin around and rolls him into the ring. (6) Dumont slides in after. Gavin starts to get up and staggers around before Dumont runs at him and hits a discus palm strike. Gavin spins around from the impact and lands on his back. The crowd roars as Dumont looks around.

 

Sharper: All Dumont so far in this one!

 

Knots: Because he s cheating! Gavin needs to have his followers with him. The man is a visionary.

 

Gavin looks up and looks around and then starts to slowly get up. Dumont then grabs him in a gutwrench. Dumont then hoists him up and hits a gutwrench powerbomb. The crowd ohs as Gavin turns to his side. Dumont then looks at Gavin and drops to his knees. He then pushes him back to his back and hammers away on him with repeatedly right hands. The crowd roars as Gavin covers up and Dumont continues his assault. The official counts.

Dumont pulls away and looks around.

 

Sharper: And the closed fists, that s what s leading to the break by SCW official Jennifer Cassidy.

 

Knots: Should disqualify him. That s an illegal move!

 

Dumont then gets up and goes to go back to Gavin. The official reprimands him though as Gavin crawls to the corner. Gavin looks around as Dumont then steps past Cassidy and runs at Gavin, but Gavin suddenly sidesteps and grabs Dumont s head, sending him shoulder first into the ringpost. Dumont hits and falls to the apron and then to the floor. Gavin falls to a knee, smiling. (1) Dumont rolls over, holding his shoulder. He starts to slowly get up, wincing in pain. (2) He pulls himself up and turns to the ring, but Gavin runs across the ring, bouncing off and hitting a baseball slide to Dumont, knocking him back into the Spanish announce table. (3) Gavin then gets up and stands in the ring. Dumont pushes himself off the table. (4) He looks at Gavin and then turns and rushes the ring, annoyed. He slides in and Gavin runs over and stomps him over and over and over again in the back. The crowd boos.

 

Sharper: And Taylor cutting Dumont off. Dumont rushed him hoping he d run.

 

Knots: This is that strategy that makes him a champion. He doesn t run. He doesn t hide.

 

Sharper: Give me a break.

 

Taylor walks around the ring, smirking as Dumont rolls over. Taylor takes a moment to bask in the reaction from the public, before turning back to Dumont. Dumont lunges and goes for a double-leg takedown, leading to a roar from the crowd, but Gavin blocks it and clubs him in the back multiple times before then backing up and hitting a knee lift. Dumont falls to the corner. Taylor then steps up and chops him. The crowd woos. He chops him again. More woos. He then grabs Dumont and runs out with a bulldog. Dumont rolls over. Taylor then starts to get up as Dumont rolls to the apron. Taylor then grabs him and pulls him up and then through the ropes before hitting the Cubic Zirconium Cutter. The crowd ohs. He pulls Dumont in and hooks the leg.

 

Knots: Gavin pin him. He s done! He s got to be done!

 

Sharper: And Gavin going for the first pin in this match!

Dumont kicks out. Gavin gets and stomps him in the face. Dumont rolls over. Dumont looks out as Gavin grabs him and pulls him up. He then whips him across the ring. Dumont bounces off and Gavin hits a hot shot. Dumont falls back, holding his throat. He then rolls over, getting back up and Gavin hits the Dependable Roundhouse. Dumont goes down and Gavin hooks the leg.

Dumont kicks out. Gavin smacks the mat in frustration. Gavin then grabs Dumont and pulls him up. He hits a vertical suplex.

 

Sharper: Gavin getting frustrated. Dumont not staying down. He s going to have to do a lot more than he has. The man clearly has bought his own hype.

 

Knots: Of course he has! He s a former World Champion. He s the rightful number one contender!

 

Gavin then gets up and hits an elbow drop. He gets up and hits a second elbow drop before getting up and hitting a third. He goes for the lateral press.

Dumont kicks out again. Gavin rolls off and looks at Cassidy. He points at her and Cassidy swats her hand away. Gavin s eyes widen as he steps up and starts to accuse her of being in on the steal. Dumont starts to stir and Gavin then turns back to him, but Dumont then takes him down by the legs and then lifts him up and hits a catapult, launching Gavin up and over the top turnbuckle and head first into the top of the ringpost. Gavin then spills up and over the top rope to the floor.

 

Sharper: And Gavin sent out of the ring. Launched by Dumont over the ringpost.

 

Knots: Not over! He hit the ringpost!

 

The referee counts.

We then cut to the floor to see Gavin Taylor looking up on the mats, blood coming down his face.

 

Knots: Oh God!

 

Sharper: And Gavin is busted open. The ringpost cut him. And looks like it cut him deep!

 

Gavin falls over. (4) Dumont exits the ring and then walks over to Gavin. He sees his bloody face and smiles. Gavin looks up and Dumont nails him with a hard right. (1) Gavin collapses to the mats. He turns and starts to get up and Dumont nails him with another hard right. Gavin drops again. (2) Gavin grabs at the ring and Dumont rolls him into the ring. Gavin crawls forward, blood dripping onto the canvas. He then staggers up and turns to Dumont who drills him with the Code Zero! Gavin just drops. Dumont looks down at the bloodied face of Gavin before looking at his knee, covered with Gavin s blood.

 

Sharper: And a Code Zero takes Gavin Taylor off his feet!

 

Knots: We need help for Gavin! This is just too much! Too much! But Gavin a fighter, the heart. Look at him! He s trying to fight!

 

Sharper: He s crawling to the ropes-

 

Knots: To get back up!

 

Gavin crawls to the ropes, the blood continuing to stream down his face. Dumont then walks over to him and drags him up and before hooking him up and hitting a release dragon suplex. Gavin rolls to his back. The crowd roars. Dumont then holds up one finger. Dumont then gets up and drags Gavin up to his feet. He looks at him and hoists him up onto his shoulders and then drops him with the Thrill of the Hunt. Dumont rolls back and to his knees before looking at Gavin. Gavin remains down for a moment, slowly stirring.

 

Sharper: Thrill of the Hunt, but Dumont is not done!

 

Knots: Gavin, look at him. The fighter! The resilience! The tenacity!

 

Gavin rolls over and looks up at Dumont, half out of it. He then pushes up to a knee only for Dumont to hit another Code Zero. Gavin drops to the mat. Dumont now goes for the pin.

Gavin grabs the bottom rope. The crowd ohs. Dumont turns and smirks to himself. He then nods before running his hand through his hair. He then looks at Gavin before getting up and stomping him in the face. He stomps him again and again and again. Gavin rolls to the ropes. Dumont then grabs him and drags him up and places him against the ropes ,starting to choke him.

Gavin drops down as Dumont lets go. He then turns and grabs Gavin and Gavin reaches around and pulls on Cassidy s pants. She falls over and Gavin manages to get enough room to hit the Better Buzzer Beater. Dumont drops and Gavin falls to his knees.

 

Sharper: And the low blow!

 

Knots: The strategy! The tactics! The brilliance!

 

Sharper: Stop it, Jon!

 

Knots: Fighting through this onslaught.

 

Gavin looks around and then gets up as Cassidy turns to Gavin, reprimanding him. Gavin ignores her and Dumont starts to get up only for Gavin to hit the Desperation Buzzer Beater. He hooks the leg.

Dumont gets his shoulder up. Gavin rolls off. He then moves to the ropes. He starts to get up and Dumont rolls over. He gets up and Gavin kicks him in the ribs and then hits a snap suplex. Gavin winces and gets up and moves to the ropes. He then staggers around as Dumont gets back up and Gavin goes for the Gavin Taylor Lariat, but Dumont ducks and Gavin hits Cassidy! The crowd ohs. Gavin looks at Cassidy and Dumont turns as Gavin then hits another Better Buzzer Beater for good measure. Dumont drops as Gavin falls back to a seated position in the corner, blood covering his face.

 

Sharper: Taylor missed-

 

Knots: Dumont s the reason! He ducked. He should ve taken the hit!

 

Sharper: Jesus Christ, Jon. But look at Gavin-

 

Knots: The face of a champion.

 

Sharper: Yeah, one that low blowed his opponent to get a reprieve!

 

Taylor then slowly pulls himself up. Dumont holds himself and starts to get up and Gavin then clubs him in the back and then again before spinning him around. He sets up for the Highlight of the Night and hoists Dumont up, but the cameras catch the look of horror on his face as Dumont slides back. Dumont then grabs the arms and spins him around and wrenches him into the Code Zero Championship Edition! The crowd ohs. Gavin drops and Dumont then looks down before seeing the official down. Dumont then turns to Gavin.

 

Dumont: Not done yet!

 

Dumont then grabs Gavin and pulls him up by the hair. The crowd roars as Dumont looks around and then pulls him up for the double underhook. He looks around and just as he goes to lift Gavin up, we see Steven, one of Polly s guards, dressed in black, hop the barricade from the crowd .She rolls into the ring. Dumont notices them, but then Steven swings and nails Dumont in the head with something. Dumont drops to the mat. Steven drops the weapon, showing it to be the Star of Tomorrow award she was given last night.

 

Sharper: The hell! That s one of Polly Playtime s guards! He s fired! He s going to going to be fired!

 

Knots: Sometimes you need to sacrifice for what s right!

 

Sharper: Chris Dumont was going to plant Gavin Taylor. Gavin Taylor damn it!

 

Steven spins through and drops down to the floor. As he backs up, we see officials running down from the back. Gavin crawls over to Dumont, out of a pool of his own blood. He then throws his arm over Dumont. Cassidy turns, looking up and seeing the cover.

Stephen is pulled away from the ring.

Stephen is dragged off by officials. The crowd boos as the bell sounds. Gavin then rolls off of Dumont.

 

Phillips: Here is your winner, via pinfall, Gavin Taylor!

 

Sharper: Damn it! God damn it! Gavin Taylor steals another one.

 

Knots: Polly Playtime knew Gavin believed in him and Polly sent her guards to make sure the right result

 

Sharper: He s going to be fired, Jon. And to help that man How badly did she want to stick it to Chris Dumont? To risk her own help?

 

Gavin remains down as we see Stephen dragged off to the back. The award remains in the ring. Karl and Jack Barker run past him. Jack gives a thumbs up as they run down to the ring. The crowd looks on, booing, as the Barkers head over to Gavin and pull him out of the ring. Karl slides in and grabs the award to be sure. Gavin looks half out of it and they raise his hand as blood continues to cover his face. Gavin looks around as the Barkers cheer on his behalf. They start to drag Gavin, victorious, around the ring and over to the rampway. Dumont starts to stir in the ring as the scene cuts away.

 

We open up with a shot of a desert. The sound of plucked deep guitar strings play in the background, giving a bit of a tense atmosphere. We then see two boots step forward, pressing down into the hard sand. The camera pans up to show Kimberly Williams looking around, biting on the end of a stalk of grain.

 

Kim: Hmmmm .

 

Kim looks around, eyes squinting before we hear more guitar plucks before two more boots are shown walking forward. We then see Glory Braddock stepping up. She looks at Kim.

 

Kim: Well there partna!

 

Glory: Kim

 

Kim: There s not enough room for the both of us in this-

 

Kim is cut off as we then see Shaun Cruze walking into the scene.

 

Kim: What are you doing here? This isn t just family?

 

Cruze: Maybe more than one family exists here-

 

We then see the Glimmer stepping in wearing an unnecessarily provocative duster that emphasizes their bust.

 

Glimmer: Maybe we need two, instead of just one.

 

We then see Lexy Chapel storm into the scene.

 

Chapel: Hold on! Hold on. If we re going to talk about why this isn t the biggest place, we need the STAR of the show here.

 

Syren shakes her head a few yards behind. We then see a shot of Marie Jones looking on.

 

Marie: So when do we do the switch?

 

Kim: AHEM!

 

Kim clears her throats, yelling out.

 

Kim: This place isn t big enough for the

 

Kim starts to count on her fingers. Just then, Asher Hayes nails Kim from behind with a steel chair.

We return to a panning shot inside Ford Field.

 

Sharper: Rise to Greatness coming to you from Arizona next year. And we can only imagine who will be looking for immortality that night. But tonight, we re not done.

 

The Rise to Greatness XXIII logo comes up on the screen before we see a shot of Deanna Frost and then a shot of Amelia Nevado before showing both, with Selena Frost and La Pequena Luz in the background.

 

Sharper: Taking Hold of the Flame winner Deanna Frost against Amelia Nevado, the World Champion.

 

Knots: And with Selena Frost at ringside. Time to see it all come together. Amelia s crowning moment!

 

 

BELIEVE IT... OR NOT!

Thank You for Hating Me! by Citizen Soldier plays throughout the arena, the SCW Universe continuing to give a mixed reaction. The lights shift to dark purple and blue, filling the arena as snow is seen falling along the electronic floor and screens as, out from the back, walks the Snow Queen, Selena Frost, with her right arm wrapped in kinesiology tape. She looks at the ring and starts to walk down to the ring, dressed in an SCW t-shirt, and still wearing her tights underneath. Her nameplate comes up.

Selena intentionally doesn t engage in her entrance instead starting to make her way down to the ring, taking a moment to scan Ford Field, locking eyes with some fans as she makes her way down to the ring.

 

Sharper: Selena Frost, heavily taped. Her arm clearly in pain as a result of Ryan LeCavalier s offense earlier. And wearing an SCW t-shirt.

 

Knots: Still thinks she s doing what s best for SCW. What s best for her is to go away! And tonight, she won t be able to help herself!

 

Sharper: And we should note she is one half of the SCW World Tag Team Champions. She holds those titles with Deanna Frost.

 

Knots: An albatross for her, I m sure!

 

Selena Frost continues down to the ring. She stops and looks at the ring before then going to walk up to it, only to then stop. She looks down and then walks around the ring. She walks past the corner that presumably would host Deanna or Amelia, and walks over to a presumably neutral corner. She then starts to stretch out her arm, still wincing in pain, and leaning down o the ring apron, almost as if she s willing herself to do whatever she intends to do.

 

Sharper: Selena settling in one of the neutral corners.

 

Knots: Looking down. Probably can even look at either Deanna or Amelia!

 

Selena then looks up as a suspenseful pounding noise starts to echo throughout Ford Field. We cut to the big screen as we see Deanna Frost, standing in her gear, at a site that appears to be outside. She looks off into the distance for a few moments before then we see her turn to the camera. The camera slowly begins to back away, revealing Deanna Frost standing on a balcony in the penthouse of a tall apartment building. The camera continues to pan away, showing Deanna looking out what is now clearly the nighttime Manhattan landscape. The shot continues to pan out before speeding out quickly showing what is clear a lot of different locations very quickly before then slowing down as we see the nighttime landscape of Detroit. The crowd cheers as they see their hometown. The drone shot starts to come to the location of Ford Field. It steadies for a moment, focusing on the signage outfront before taking a moment and then resetting and starting to fly towards the building. It sweeps down and flies past the busses that are in the talent area, specifically showcasing Selena Frost s bus, before then flying into the building. It continues to move forward, where we even see a shot of Gavin Taylor being checked on by the trainer, before zooming past and over to the tunnel where it slows down. It then sweeps around and stops in front of Deanna Frost who has her eyes closed. She then opens them as the crowd cheers. The drone pans back a bit before showing Deanna holding both the World Tag Team Championship and the Adrenaline Championship belts. The scene then cuts to the stage as People Like US by Kelly Clarkson starts to play throughout the stadium. An orange hue comes over the stage as we see computer generated leaves spin around on the video boards. A few moments pass before we see Deanna Frost walk out from the back and step forward, looking out at the crowd. She just takes in the moment, looking around the stadium. She then nods and takes a deep breath before starting to head to the ring, the leaves following her down the rampway.

Sharper: Deanna Frost may not have expected to be here. But she has earned this spot and she is potentially one match away from being a triple champion!

 

Knots: A lot of pressure and in the process, while the standard bearer of her family is at ringside. I hope she s ready for this. Because Amelia Nevado damn sure is!

 

Deanna Frost continues on her way to the ring, the camera following her down before she starts to high-five some fans hands. She then stops at the ringside area. She briefly locks eyes with Selena before then turning and running to the ring and sliding in. She gets up and steps forward before going to the ropes, stepping up to the middle ropes and holding her titles over her head. Pyro shoots out from the ringposts. She then hops down and does the same on the opposite side of the ring. She turns and goes to the side of the ring facing the rampway. And finally she heads over to the side of the ring where Selena is. Selena intentionally moves away to the next side of the ring. Deanna drops down and looks around as the music fades out. A few moments pass.

 

All of a sudden, the lights go out, prompting a surprised pop from the fans. After a few moments that leave the fans buzzing in confusion, we see the Tron come to life as the sound of footsteps echo throughout Ford Field. The video playing shows those footsteps belonging to someone walking through some abandoned building, and as the video pans up, it reveals this figure is none other than Amelia Nevado, dressed in the same nice pantsuit we've seen her wearing lately as World Champion. This draws a mixed reaction that leans more towards boos as Amelia walks along. A jump cut in the video shows her approaching a figure that looks to be sitting in a folding chair, though closer inspection reveals the figure in the chair has their arms handcuffed behind it to keep them from going anywhere. Amelia stops in front of the seated figure, and as the shot slowly pans around, that figure is revealed to be... Amelia Nevado? The fans are buzzing in confusion now as the seated Amelia, who looks more casually dressed like the Amelia we once knew, looks up at the one standing over her.

Nevado: Haven't you tortured me enough, Amelia Blythe? Why can't you just leave me alone?

The standing Amelia, who's apparently going by her old laugh name, just scoffs.

Blythe: Because I'm you... the REAL you... the prodigy you were always destined to be.

The shot transitions to a rapid-fire series of clips, all from British promotions clearly early in Amelia's wrestling career as she looks like an unbeatable wrestling machine in the ring, before transitioning back to the two Amelias.

Nevado: I never wanted to become this...

Blythe: Of course you did. You couldn't handle being a failure, someone who just couldn't quite get the job done.

The shot then transitions to the ending of her World Title match with Cid Turner at Apocalypse last year as Amelia is defeated, followed by her match at Under Attack last year against Syren with the same result, and then to her match at last year's Shattered Reality where Glory Braddock also defeated her, before transitioning back to see Amelia Blythe grabs Amelia Nevado's jaw and tilt it up, smugly smirking down at her.

Blythe: Deep down, you knew why your parents brought you into this world. You were supposed to be the greatest, bar none. You turned your back on your family, your legacy, and look where it got you!

The shot quickly jumps to a clip from Retribution several years ago, the night where Bison Jones powerbombed her out of the ring and caused her to injure her neck, ending her first run with SCW, before jumping back.

Blythe: That's why I had to become that voice in your head, guiding you back to your true destiny, reminding you of exactly who you SHOULD be.

The shot transitions to Amelia choking out Kemal Yilmaz at this year's Retribution to become number one contender, then her choking out Selena Frost to become World Champion at Hubris. As soon as the shot jumps back, we see Amelia Blythe smack Amelia Nevado across the face, which draws some boos from the fans watching.

Blythe: Without me, you are NOTHING! You need me to take the wheel for this match, Amelia... just like I have along the road to get here, to Rise to Greatness. Because you are WEAK! PATHETIC! WORTHLESS! You're not good enough to be a wrestler... you're not good enough to even be a Blythe!

With every line Amelia Blythe berates Amelia Nevado with, she smacks her across the fans again and again and again, a sight that's starting to make some fans uncomfortable judging by the murmuring. Amelia Blythe backs out of the shot with a sickening smirk of self-superiority, leaving us lingering on a beaten Amelia Nevado just looking down at the floor.

Luz: But she's always been good enough to be a Nevado.

A familiar hand suddenly reaches in and gently rests itself on Amelia's shoulder, the sound of her voice igniting cheers in the fans. Amelia's head snaps up, eyes wide, as we pan back to see La Peque a Luz standing protectively behind her wife and staring a hole straight through the woman her wife used to be, brilliant white angel wings sprouting from Luz's back.

Luz: You're in her head because all her life, the people who were supposed to care for her always put her down, moved the goalposts, made her think that she was never good enough... never seeing that she always has been.

The shot transitions to a clip of Amelia and Luz winning their very first tag team match, and tag team titles, together, right in front of the two figures we know are Amelia's parents. The shot then transitions to when Amelia became SCW Television Champion years ago, then to the semi-final U.S. Title tournament match where she and Deanna Frost tore the house down which gets some fans cheering, then to last year's Rise to Greatness where she defeated Chris Cannon, before transitioning back to the tense scene.

Luz: So she had some setbacks. We all have. I know she could've bounced back from them... instead, you refused to take any chances and infected her brain with every last bit of self-loathing her parents made her harbor for years.

Blythe: Because she's not good enough!

Nevado: No... because you want me to THINK I can't be good enough if I'm not like you!

Amelia Nevado's head snaps up, glaring down her former self as the shot glitches between clips of Amelia as a member of the New Order and clips of her wrestling alongside Luz as The Light In The Darkness before it stabilizes.

Nevado: I don't need you anymore... I don't need the Blythe name, I don't need the attitude. Blythe: You don't deserve anything, you worthless waste of-

Amelia Blythe goes to throw a punch, but it's caught! As Blythe's eyes go wide, Amelia Nevado is now standing, no longer handcuffed to the chair, finally taking a stand against herself, against everything she's told she should be, everything she let herself become again. She's also sprouting a pair of angel wings now, only hers are black... but the darkness begins to be expelled from her wings as they slowly turn white again just in time for the epic opening of Rebirthing by Skillet to begin playing. A pure light radiates from her wings and begins to not only purge the darkness from her, ensuring that she is returning to the Amelia we've all been waiting for, but is also beginning to engulf her former Blythe self as that Amelia begins to freak out as the light causes her to be purged as well.

Nevado: It's time I start over and prove I can do this right... and apologize to those you made me leave behind.

As the light engulfs the screen, it transitions to more shots of Amelia as the crown jewel of the New Order, only for those to be burned away and replaced by moments before this year where she proved she does have what it takes and does belong here.

More and more shots of the way Amelia's been lately are played, only to be engulfed by the light and replaced with clips of how she should've been all along, including clips like her saving Luz from the Glimmer Sisters at Taking Hold of the Flame, ultimately transitioning back to Amelia Blythe dissolving in the light and Amelia's wings being fully white again.

The video shows Luz gently wrapping her arms around Amelia's shoulders in a hug from behind, with Amelia closing her eyes and gently caressing her wife's arms. It transitions to what looks like a group shot of the entirety of the New Order, with Amelia and the World Title front and center alongside Frank Delatosso. This earns a chorus of boos, until the photo starts to burn away, revealing another shot underneath of Amelia and Luz front and center on what looks like their wedding night years ago, surrounded by all of their loved ones... including Deanna and Selena Frost. This image lingers on the Tron for a moment before it becomes engulfed in blinding white.

As Rebirthing reaches the chorus, the stage is suddenly engulfed in blinding white spotlights, all focused on the center of the stage. As we zoom in and pan around, we see Amelia Nevado standing there with the SCW World Championship around her waist, no robe like she usually wears but an attire that looks like a combination of her singlet and Luz's long tights, all in a pure white color with the usual details in silver. She's not alone, however, as just like the final shot of the video, La Peque a Luz is gently hugging her from behind, arms draped over her shoulders. As the spotlights dim to allow fans to see, they erupt in cheers as Amelia slowly looks up, tears in her eyes as she looks overwhelmed to be hearing such a positive reaction once again. She and Luz exchange glances, both of them teary-eyed as Luz slowly lets go of Amelia and moves to stand beside her, and Amelia takes her hand without a second thought, fingers threading together, as they begin their walk down to the ring, Luz wiping Amelia's tears away as she begins to focus on the fight ahead of her, but not without a genuine smile that we haven't truly seen from her in so long.

 

Sharper: The internal battle in the mind of Amelia Nevado-

 

Knots: Blythe. Nevado. Doesn t matter. She s champion!

As they reach ringside, they pause as Amelia looks over to a group sitting in the front row who are cheering the loudest for her, some of them even holding up signs welcoming the real Amelia back, as we recognize them as the found family from the wedding picture. Amelia can't help but nod and apologize to them as Luz lets her go to hug and high-five them all. By the time she's done with that, Luz has hopped up onto the apron and is holding the ropes open for her. Amelia slowly walks up the steel steps, but pauses and turns her gaze towards Selena from where she's standing for her designated role as enforcer tonight. Instead of a glare or any hatred, though, Amelia just nods to her, as if acknowledging her words from weeks ago, before she enters the ring. She slowly removes the World Title from around her waist, but instead of doing anything with it, she instead hands it to Luz for a moment before she turns to stare down Deanna for a moment... before she slowly drops to her knees and bows her head until it's pressing against the mat, stunning the fans and even drawing some more cheers at the sight of the World Champion showing humility and asking for repentance from her challenger. After a moment of this, Amelia slowly rises back to her feet, taking a deep breath before Luz hands her the World Title again and gives her a big good luck kiss that Amelia returns. Amelia then just hands the World Title to the referee as Luz hops down from the apron before moving to stand beside Selena, as if deciding she's going to be Selena's co-enforcer for this match. Jason Phillips steps forward. The bell sounds.

 

Phillips: Fans, the following contest is your main event of the evening, scheduled for onefall with a sixty minute time limit and for the SCW World Championship!

 

The crowd roars as the SCW World Championship logo comes across the screen.

 

Phillips: Your official for this match is senior referee Aaron Demitra. And the special guest enforcer is Selena Frost!

 

The crowd gives a mixed reaction as Selena looks up at the ring. Luz glances at her.

 

Phillips: And first, the challenger

 

Deanna Frost hypes herself up in the corner.

 

Phillips: She hails from Manhattan, New York. She is the current reigning SCW Adrenaline Champion and one half of the SCW World Tag Team Champions. She is the winner of the 2026 Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal. This is .Deanna Frost!

 

Deanna steps up and holds her titles over her head and looks out at the crowd. The crowd cheers her as she then turns and folds up her titles, placing them in the corner behind her. A crew member comes and takes them away.

 

Phillips: And her opponent

 

We cut to Amelia Nevado who looks down, still focusing on the match. The crowd roars.

 

Phillips: From Oxford, England, she is accompanied by her partner La Pequena Luz she is the reigning and defending SCW World Champion. She is Amelia Nevado!

 

Amelia Nevado steps forward, holding the SCW World Championship over her head. She then looks across at Deanna, maintaining her focus. She then brings the title down, looking at it one more time before extending it to Aaron Demitra.

 

Sharper: Here we go. Biggest match at the biggest stage. World Title on the line. History in the balance!

 

The crowd roars as Aaron Demitra stands in the ring, holding up the SCW World Championship. Selena glances at Luz, as we see Deanna and Amelia both looking up at the title. Demitra hands off the title. He then steps back and asks Deanna if she s ready. She nods. She does the same to Amelia. She nods. Demitra calls for the bell as the crowd roars. Deanna and Amelia then step up and both prepare to fight before locking up in the middle of the ring. They push back on one another and Amelia turns into an arm wrench. Deanna winces and Amelia wrenches the arm again. Deanna looks up and then ducks under and into a wrench of her own. Amelia winces and Deanna drops down into a drop toe hold. She then moves into a side headlock. Amelia slides her head out. Both get up and Deanna grabs the arm and wrenches it before going into a top wrist. Amelia ducks under and into a top wrist lock of her own. Deanna turns and then tries to take Amelia down with a snapmare, but Amelia holds on and pulls Deanna forward by the arm, causing her to topple over her and in front of her. Amelia then grabs the arm.

 

Sharper: Early on, both wrestling this as a catch-as-catch can. Amelia has the advantage there. She s the stronger technical wrestler.

 

Knots: Deanna was holding her own, but Amelia has a few more tricks up her sleeve. That s for sure.

 

Deanna looks up as Demitra checks on her. Deanna rolls through to her knees and Amelia stands up. Deanna looks forward and reaches up and pushes back on the chin of Amelia. Amelia shakes her off before Deanna then grabs Amelia by the waist and hits a back suplex. Amelia winces and turns and Deanna grabs at the arm, but Amelia quickly scrambles to an arm bar. Deanna winces and Amelia pushes her down and knees her in the shoulder. She then keeps holding on and then pushes Deanna down into a pin.

Deanna bridges up. Amelia then grabs her, but Deanna pushes off with her legs and rolls Amelia over to her back while hooking her head in a front face lock for a pin.

Amelia kicks out and Deanna rolls over as Amelia moves away and gets some space, taking a deep breath. She turns back as Deanna slowly gets up.

 

Sharper: And Deanna with a bit of a surprise. An unique pin, but it also got it. And Amelia moving away. Getting some distance. Taking a moment to just reset.

 

Knots: She needs to know she deserves to be here-

 

Sharper: Both do Jon. Amelia Nevado beat Selena to win the title. Then survived the Glimmers. Deanna Frost won the Taking Hold of the Flame. She could walk out a triple champion tonight.

 

Amelia then locks up with Deanna again and Amelia quickly hits a snap headlock takedown. She then hits a standing leg drop. Deanna grimaces and Amelia grabs the arm and pulls it over her head, locking in a variation of the short-arm scissors. She stands up and Deanna looks around as she slowly gets her feet under her. Amelia then wrenches the arm. Deanna falls to a knee. Amelia elbows the shoulder before Deanna gets up and pushes up on Amelia, getting him to the ropes and fires her across. She bounces off and Deanna hits a dropkick. Amelia hits the mat. She turns and gets up and Deanna hits a forearm shot before snapmairng her over. She then wraps her legs around her and rolls into a rolling clutch pin.

Amelia kicks out. Amelia crawls to the ropes. Deanna gets up and steps up and forearms Amelia in the jaw. She falls to the corner.

 

Sharper: And Deanna moving away from the technical back and forth. A hard forearm.

 

Knots: Just a cheap shot-

 

Sharper: How? That was perfectly legal. And right to the jaw.

 

Deanna clocks Amelia again. She then drags her out and whips her across the ring. Amelia hits the ropes and Deanna hits a back elbow. Amelia hits the mat and Deanna goes for an elbow drop. Amelia moves out of the way. Deanna gets up and rushes Amelia and Amelia arm drags her over and into an arm bar. Deanna smacks the mat in anger. She looks around as Amelia holds on. Deanna starts to slowly get her feet under her and then Amelia knees her in the ribs. She then takes her down with an inside cradle!

Deanna kicks out. Both get up and Amelia clocks Deanna with a European uppercut. The impact causes Deanna to fall over her feet and down to the mat. She reaches at the ropes, looking out, and talking to herself. Amelia heads over and clubs her in the back. She then grabs Deanna and hits a bridging back suplex.

Deanna gets her shoulder up. Deanna rolls over and starts to get up. Amelia grabs her and spins her around and hits another European uppercut. Deanna falls to the ropes. Amelia then goes to whip her across the ring, but Deanna spins through and sends Amelia in. Amelia bounces off and Deanna hoists her onto her shoulders and hits a quick Samoan drop. Amelia rolls over, holding her ribs. She starts to get up and Deanna hooks her up and hits a vertical suplex. She gets up and sits Amelia up. She then runs into the ropes, bouncing off and hit a double sliding knee to the back of Amelia. Amelia winces in pain. Deanna goes for the pin.

Amelia gets her shoulder up. Deanna grabs the arm.

 

Sharper: Deanna moving fast. A few hard shots. The double knees. Amelia gets the shoulder up and then smartly, back to the arm. Back to control.

 

Knots: You also have a sense of tentativeness here from both. First Rise to Greatness main event for both. And both almost hoping not to make a mistake.

 

Sharper: They both earned it. And they need to find a way to avoid that feeling. You re more likely to make a mistake if you re worried about making one.

 

Deanna holds onto the arm as Amelia looks out. A bit of frustration on her face. Luz looks on as Selena starts to walk around the ring, seemingly trying to get a good look at Deanna. This leads Luz to turn away and focus on Selena for a moment as back in the ring, both Deanna and Amelia start to get to their feet. Deanna elbows Amelia in the shoulder. She then pulls her up and forearms her in the jaw. She then whips her into the ropes. Amelia bounces off. Deanna lowers her head and Amelia jumps up and backflips down her back. Deanna turns and Amelia clubs her and pushes her into the ropes for an Okana roll. Deanna grabs the top rope and holds on. Amelia rolls back. Deanna turns and watches and runs at her. She goes for a clothesline. Amelia ducks. Deanna bounces off the other side. Amelia goes for the European uppercut, but Deanna blocks it with her arm and then both spin through and Deanna hits a discus forearm to the jaw of Amelia. She s staggered before Deanna then lifts her up and hits a sitout spinebuster in the middle of the ring!

Amelia gets her shoulder up and rolls out of it. Deanna rolls back. Amelia starts to get up and Deanna then lunges and goes for the Burnout, but Amelia spins out of the way. Deanna falls into the ropes. The crowd ohs. Deanna turns around and Amelia runs at her and just tackles her down with a double leg takedown before moving into a side headlock.

 

Sharper: And Deanna went for the kill shot. Amelia saw it coming. And then you saw her just rush her. Not wanting to give Deanna the opportunity to reload.

 

Knots: Deanna committed. Amelia nearly saw everything end. Come on, Amelia you know you deserve this. This is your night!

 

She holds on as Deanna tries to fight off and the crowd looks on as Amelia drags her up to her feet. She then knees her in the ribs and moves into a cravate. She then pulls back away from the ropes and Amelia hits a cravate suplex, taking Deanna over. The crowd ohs. Amelia crawls over and hooks the leg.

Deanna kicks out. Amelia then grabs the arm again. She pulls on it as Deanna starts to get up. Amelia then spins her up and knees her in the ribs once and then again before whipping her into the ropes. Deanna hits the ropes and Amelia catches her for a belly to belly suplex. Deanna knees her in the ribs and then snaps her over with a snap headlock takedown. She lets go through and Amelia rolls through and Deanna pulls her up and spins her around into a neckbreaker. She goes for the pin.

Amelia kicks out. Deanna rolls off. Amelia starts to get up and moves to the corner. Deanna follows up and hits a shoulder thrust to the ribs once and then again and again. She fires her across the ring. Deanna runs after and Amelia jumps up and floats over. Deanna stops in the corner. She then turns around and Amelia hits a snap overhead belly to belly suplex. Deanna hits hard. She rolls over and then starts to get up and Amelia runs at her and grabs her from behind. She starts to set up for the Blight Choke. She can t get it in though as Deanna keeps trying to fight and then manages to drop down to her knees and pulls Amelia through the ropes to the floor, landing only a few feet from Selena. Luz looks on as Deanna then gets up. (1) Amelia slowly gets up, wincing and turns to the ring. Deanna runs across the ring. (2) She bounces off and dives through the ropes with a tope suicida, driving Amelia back into the announce tables. The crowd ohs as both are down in a heap. (1)

 

Sharper: Through the ropes! Deanna Frost taking flight and taking down the World Champion!

 

Knots: Selena! Come on! Get in there. Stop her from taking such chances. This should be a fair fight!

 

Sharper: Selena just looking on as Luz watches her to be sure. Deanna taking the fight to Amelia.

She then starts to get up and grabs Amelia and pulls her up and rolls her into the ring. (5) Deanna rolls in after and Amelia gets up and Deanna runs at her and hits a jumping enziguri kick. Amelia drops and Deanna hooks the leg.

Amelia gets her shoulder up. Deanna then gets up and drives her knee into the face of Amelia. Selena looks on, watching intently. Luz starts to urge Amelia on as Deanna then grabs Amelia and pulls her up. She then wrenches the arm and pushes her into the ropes. She fires Amelia off and Amelia bounces off and Deanna hits a powerslam. She then gets up and moves to the corner. She climbs up to the top middle rope and then to the top rope. She glances back and goes for a moonsault. Amelia rolls out of the way. Deanna lands hard. She rolls over and turns. She gets up and Amelia runs at her and grabs from behind and hits a snap dragon suplex into a bridge!

Deanna just gets her shoulder up. Amelia sits up, looking out and taking a moment before getting up. Deanna rolls over to the ropes.

 

Sharper: Deanna missed. And it opened her up. Amelia didn t hesitate and she hit that dragon suplex perfectly. But Deanna somehow getting that shoulder up.

 

Knots: And I was watching Selena. Almost stoic. Not showing anything. It s clear she s hoping Amelia wins this.

 

Sharper: How can you say that?

 

Knots: She s taken everything else. You know why she elected to pass on Deanna s decision. Not out of shame. To end Deanna s hopes for being World Champion so she could step up.

 

Sharper: We don t know that. I I have to hope somewhere in there she wouldn t be that scheming.

 

Knots: After this year?!

 

Deanna starts to pull herself up and Amelia then comes up from behind. She jerks Deanna away from the ropes and hits a bridging German suplex!

Deanna gets her shoulder up again and rolls over. Deanna rolls over and moves to the ropes. Amelia walks over and clubs her in the back once and then again and again and again. The official comes over to count.

Amelia pulls away and walks around the ring, hands on her hips. She looks down before then looking at Luz. The two lock eyes briefly as Luz doesn t turn away. Amelia turns back as Deanna steps up from the ropes and swings, but Amelia blocks it and hits a European uppercut. She turn and whips Deanna into the ropes. Deanna bounces off and Amelia goes to lift her up. Deanna spins through and pushes her into the ropes. She then hits an Okana roll.

Amelia kicks out. Deanna falls forward. Amelia gets up and clenches her fist, only to then stop and Deanna turns and Amelia ducks under her arm, hooking one arm and then the other and into a backslide.

Deanna kicks out. Deanna gets up and Amelia lifts her up and then hoists her up, but Deanna elbows her in the back of the head once and then again before then hooking her head and running up the corner. She then spins out and hits a tornado DDT. The crowd ohs. Deanna looks around.

 

Sharper: Tornado DDT. Amelia Nevado caught!

 

Knots: She should ve just clocked her. I saw her clench her fist. She then got too fancy!

 

Deanna throws her arm over Amelia.

Amelia pushes her arm off defiantly and rolls over. Deanna rolls away as the crowd looks on cheering.

 

Knots: There you go! Show that attitude!

 

Sharper: A defiant removal of that arm.

 

Deanna starts to get up and Amelia moves to the ropes on the other side of the ring. Deanna turns around and nails Amelia with a hard right. Amelia staggers and nails her with a forearm shot. Deann then forearms her again and Amelia hits a European uppercut. Deanna forearms her again and Amelia hits another uppercut. Deanna then just rushes her back into the ropes and goes to throw her across, but Amelia spins through and sends Deanna in. Deanna bounces off and Amelia catches her in motion and hit a bridging northern lights suplex!

Deanna bridges up. The crowd roars and the two spin around before Amelia goes for the backslide. She pulls and Deanna then manages to back flip over Amelia s back and lands on her feet. Amelia lifts her up and places her on the top rope. The crowd roars as Amelia forearms her with a hard right and then another before then climbing up to the middle rope. The crowd looks on as Selena now steps up onto the apron, almost not noticing she s doing it. Luz then steps over to her and Selena glances at her as we see Amelia forearm Deanna again and grab her, pulling her up to her feet. She sets up for a top rope belly to belly. Selena looks at Luz as Luz then softens a bit. Selena slides off the apron and turns as Deanna elbows Amelia in the side of the head and then again before then spinning around Amelia and throwing her off with a top rope German superplex! Amelia backflips through, landing on her stomach as the crowd erupts! Luz moves to the ring, concerned as Selena steps back, the camera catching a brief smile, before we cut to the ring where both Deanna and Amelia are down.

 

Sharper: From the top! German superplex!

 

Knots: Amelia come on. You need to take control. You re playing to nice. It s Deanna. Take her out!

 

Sharper: Deanna right now with the advantage. Can she get to the pin?

 

Deanna looks over at Amelia. (1)

Amelia shoots her shoulder up. The crowd ohs. Deanna rolls over and starts to get up. Amelia slowly stirs as Deanna then grabs her and slowly pulls her up. She then knees her in the ribs. She then pulls her in and onto her shoulders. Amelia slides down, however. She shoves Deanna forward. Deanna spins around and Amelia then goes for a spinning back fist, but Deanna ducks and then both stop and turn and Deanna goes for the Burnout, but catches Demitra in the jaw. Demitra goes down as Deanna stops and then leans over and looks at him, her mouth agave. Amelia turns and then she heads over and even checks on Demitra too. Deanna looks at her. She then turns and looks at Selena. Luz watches Amelia, smiling as Amelia then gets up as Deanna looks at Demitra. Selena starts to pull herself onto the apron.

 

Sharper: Demitra caught by the Burnout!

 

Knots: Stop gawking and take out Deanna!

 

Sharper: Amelia Nevado checking on Demitra with Deanna!

 

Knots: And Selena is starting to get into the ring. But take Deanna out.

 

Deanna then backs up as Selena steps into the ring. The crowd gives a mixed reaction and Selena then steps up and says she ll check on Demitra. She motions to them to fight. Amelia looks at Deanna and then Deanna to her. Selena checks on Demitra before Deanna and Amelia lock up in the middle of the ring. The crowd roars.

 

Sharper: And the reset! And we start up again!

 

Amelia and Deanna push back on one another as the crowd roars. Deanna gets Amelia to the ropes and Amelia pushes off. They spin around on the ropes before Amelia gets Deanna to the corner. But before Selena can call for a break, we hear a roar from the crowd. We see Gavin Taylor, head bandaged and such that his right eye is even partially covered. He runs down to the ring as Deanna spins Amelia around into the corner. Deanna pushes back as Gavin slides into the ring, but as he runs at Deanna and Amelia, Selena cuts him off with a left arm clothesline. The crowd erupts.

 

Sharper: Gavin Taylor! What the hell is he doing here?

 

Knots: He s trying to help the New Order. Help Amelia. Get the title match Selena and Syren ruined months ago! Make sure things come out right!

 

Sharper: And Selena takes his head off!

 

Gavin pops up as Deanna turns and runs at him and nails him with a hard right and then another and another. She glances back as Gavin leans against the ropes and Deanna pulls her out and towards Amelia, who steps up and European uppercuts Gavin. The crowd erupts as Gavin staggers back and through the ropes. Deanna turns as Luz then runs over and jumps up and pulls him down with a powerbomb off the apron to the mats. Gavin rolls over, yelling in pain. Luz looks down at Gavin as Deanna turns to Amelia. Amelia turns to Deanna. Selena steps back as Luz turns and nods at Amelia. Selena nods back as Luz turns as we see Karl and Jack Barker running down from the back, Mr. Black a few strides behind. Deanna and Amelia turn back to one another and start to trade right hands in the middle of the ring. The crowd roars.

 

Sharper: Luz enforcing on the floor! Selena in the ring! Deanna and Amelia trading blows!

 

Knots: Oh god go to the uppercuts. Don t let her fight through the grit! But why attack Gavin!

 

Amelia and Deanna head a few more shots on one another and Deanna then goes for a spinning back fist, but Amelia ducks and hits a European uppercut. Deanna staggers and turns around and Amelia pulls her down with a school boy. Selena counts.

Deanna kicks out and Selena winces a bit, leaning back on her knees. Deanna gets up and Amelia kicks her in the ribs and then hooks her head and spins her around, going for a neckbreaker, but Amelia spins through and kicks Amelia in the ribs. Deanna runs at her and goes for a clothesline. Amelia ducks and Deanna stops at the ropes as Luz nails Karl with a hard right and then nails Jack. Amelia runs at Deanna and Deanna gets and elbow up and Amelia staggers forward. Deanna runs over and grabs her and hits a German suplex. As she does, Luz hits a moonsault off the apron, onto the Barkers and Black.

Amelia gets her shoulder up. Both get up and Deanna hoists Amelia up onto her shoulders. Amelia elbows out of it. She slides down and Deanna falls to the ropes. Amelia runs over and hits another European uppercut. Deanna falls through to the apron. Amelia pulls her up and hooks her up and hits a vertical suplex back into the ring. Amelia then rolls through and starts to lift Deanna up and places her on her feet. She then lets go and runs into the ropes. She bounces off and jumps up for a Light Out, shades of Luz, but Deanna turns, pushing her back. Amelia falls to the ropes and then gets up and turns, but Deanna runs past her. Amelia turns and Deanna springboards from the middle rope and twists around into a Cold Shoulder. Amelia rolls through. She gets up and steps up as Deanna lunges and hits the Burnout! Amelia just collapses as Deanna falls on top of her.

 

Sharper: Burnout! Amelia knocked back. Set up by Deanna using a Selena trademark!

 

Knots: Kick out kick out!

 

Selena counts the fall. Luz turns to the ring.

Selena stops and the bell sounds as she slides back and realizes the moment. Deanna rolls off, exhausted. Luz pulls herself onto the apron.

 

Phillips: Here is your winner, via pinfall .and NEW SCW World Champion Deanna Frost!

 

Sharper: The streak is over. A Frost walks out of Rise to Greatness the World Champion and it s not Selena it s Deanna our new triple champion!

 

Knots: Is Selena going to raise her arm though? She s almost realized it. She wants her most precious she needs to now go through Deanna.

 

Sharper: She called it down the middle at the end. And Luz even watching

 

Deanna slowly sits up as People Like Us plays throughout the arena. She looks over at Selena as Selena gets up, being handed the World Championship by Jason Phillips. Selena looks at the World Championship as Deanna slowly gets up. Selena then looks at Deanna and nods before stepping over and handing her the World Championship. Deanna looks at the title before Selena raises her arm as the crowd cheers. Deanna lets out the emotion of winning as Selena can be seen shedding a tear. Deanna then turns to her as Selena pulls her in and hugs her in the middle of the ring. Luz smiles through her mask before turning to Amelia. Amelia rolls over as Luz steps into the ring. Amelia rolls over and looks up as Selena showcases Deanna to all parts of the arena, turning her to celebrate to the face. Amelia starts to pull herself up. We briefly cut to Gavin who is getting up, now with the help of the All-Star Secret Service.

 

Gavin: Where am I? I what happened?

 

Sharper: Selena Frost celebrating with Deanna Frost. Giving her that moment.

 

Selena then steps aside as she showcases Deanna and then turns to Amelia as Amelia steps forward, exhaustion on her face. Deanna turns and sees her. Deanna then looks at Amelia, instinctively saying sorry. Amelia shakes her head and then can be seen saying something to her, the camera catching the end which is nothing to be sorry about.

 

Amelia then hugs Deanna too before then raising her arm. The crowd cheers as pyro then starts to go off on the stage and high into the air.

 

Knots: Now clock her!

 

Sharper: I don t think that s happening Jon. I think for the first time in several months, things feel right. Things are right. Integrity prevails. And Deanna Frost makes history! What a night from Detroit! Congratulations to Deanna Frost and I think I should say congratulations to Amelia Nevado and maybe even Selena. Deanna continues to celebrate. Amelia holds her arm off for a moment before letting go and going over to Luz where they embrace. Selena then watches, a smile on her face as Deanna enjoys the moment, standing in the ring, holding the SCW World Championship. Selena turns as she asks for Deanna s other titles. She s handed them and walks over to Deanna. Deanna looks at her as Selena then places the titles on the ground before Amelia comes over. She takes the World Title, placing it around Deanna s waist before stepping back with Luz. Selena then places Deanna s other titles over her shoulder as Deanna just laughs in the moment looking around, almost stunned. Pyro goes off again as the scene slowly fades to black
