The
scene opens up inside the Toyota Center in Houston,
Texas as the crowd cheers. Fans wave banners and play to the camera as
spotlights circle the arena.
Sharper:
“We are live in Houston, Texas. Rise to Greatness weekend is here. The biggest
weekend in professional wrestling!”
The
cameras continue to pan across the ring before fading to the ringside area
where Adam Sharper and Jonathan Knots sit.
Sharper:
“Welcome to ringside. Adam Sharper here with Jonathan Knots and tonight, we’ll
give you all of the final news and notes before Rise
to Greatness XXII tomorrow night. Of course, tonight, we have three huge
matches as well.”
Knots: “Two
tag matches. A big personal fight too. Slayton to face Lawler. And we’ve got Fate
on the line. Sutter and Braddock again Owens and Adamson. Let’s go.”
Sharper:
“And we’ll kick things off tonight with the undefeated Glimmer Sisters facing
the European Fiery Nation!”
Glimmer Sisters vs. European Fiery Nation
“Off To
War” by Behemoth plays over the sound system with the lights going dark as
Ginny Raab walks out and stands in the middle of the stage, Ludvig and Kemal on
the left and Dakon and Oskar on the right-hand sides,
looking at the crowd and got heavy boos. When the lights briefly come back on,
you see Dakon, Oskar, Ludvig, Kemal and Ginny waving
their Norway, Sweden, Turkey and German flags. The five stand on the stage.
Phillips: “The opening contest tonight is scheduled for onefall
with a twenty minute time limit. First, on their way
to the ring, accompanied by Ginny Raab, Kemal Yilmaz and Oskar Theron, coming
from Sweden and Norway, they are Ludvig Eriksson and Dakon
Theron, The European Fiery Nation."
The lights go out again as the group walk down to the ring with their flags and
step on the stairs, and do a hold-up in the middle of the ring as they gives
their flags to Ginny, and she leaves the ring to go to the back. Kemal and
Oskar talk to Dakon and Ludvig as Tommy and Kandis
smirk, looking across the ring. Kemal and Oskar then turn and start to walk
around the ring, following Ginny.
Sharper: “European Fiery Nation hoping for a good
start to their Rise to Greatness weekend. The Glimmer Sisters will be across
the ring from them. They’re coming off a big win against the Shinigami
Foundation.”
Knots: “Get a win there, depending on how things shake
out, we have an interesting situation for the World Tag Titles and that’s what
the EFN want. They want that opportunity and they want to
then force people to fight their way”
All the
lights in the arena suddenly cut out, leaving the fans gasping and roaring in
surprise. After a moment, blue lighting overtakes the arena, almost making it
look like the entire place is underwater. On the stage, we can see what looks
like water raining down right in front of the entryway, a silhouette of a woman
visible behind it as she's flipping her hair and looks to be getting “dressed”
for battle. “Tongue Twister” then hits and after a few seconds, we see Gina
Glimmer (we assume) walk through the water, motioning as though she were
parting a curtain, sashaying in a way that draws all eyes to her hips as she
grins knowing full well what she's doing. Once she's fully visible she flaps
her arms at her sides almost like she's flying, and as she does
we see a second pair of arms flapping in the opposite motion appear from behind
her, almost making her look like one of those multi-armed Hindu gods. After a
few flaps she leans to one side as we see her twin Gia Glimmer (again, we
assume) suddenly appear from behind her and lean the opposite way, perfectly
mirroring one another. They join hands and look as though they're about to
break into a ballroom dance, but Gina simply uses this to flip Gia over her
back, and the moment she lands on her feet in time with the bass dropping the
lighting immediately changes to a vibrant display of pinks and yellows.
Phillips:
“Their opponents, from Cirque de Sins, they are the team of Gia and Gina, they
are the Glimmer Sisters!”
At
this, the two begin to dance their way down to the ring, again a perfect mirror
of one another as their sensual motions hypnotize the audience. The mirror
routine breaks at a few points when they stop dancing to briefly interact with
fans, Gina scoffing at some guy not worth her time in the front row desperately
trying to get her number while Gia teases potentially flashing her side of the
crowd only to stick her tongue out and tell them to “blame SCW” for the let
down. Once they reach ringside they dance their way over to the hard cam side
of the ring before pulling themselves onto the apron facing away from each
other, where they press their butts together and slowly rise as they stick
their tongues out and suggestively lick each finger, drawing excited cheers
from all interested parties that clash with the boos they're otherwise getting
from those that either aren't interested in them or see through the act. Once
they're both fully upright, they mirror one another again as they lean back
against the ropes, pushing out their chests for the fans' enjoyment before
hooking their arms around the top rope and backflipping into the ring in sync.
Once they're back in the ring the lighting returns to the underwater hues as
they dance around the ring one more time, mirroring one another again, before
meeting in the middle of the ring as a spotlight shines
down on them. They sensually embrace, each lifting a leg up in a way that makes
it seem like they're trying to wrap it around the other's body as they flip
their hair before motioning for the camera to get a close-up of them as they
grin and wink to the fans at home. The lights then completely cut out again for
a brief moment before coming back on as normal, the
Glimmer Sisters separating and moving to their corner as they wait for the bell
with a hungry look in their eyes.
Sharper:
“And the Glimmer Sisters clearly trying to put on a show.”
Knots:
“It’s working for me!’
Sharper:
“Easy there, Jon. They’ve shown how dangerous they are in the ring and that’s
the important thing, first and foremost.”
Knots:
“I’m not disagreeing. But we tell new talent to make us care. Well, they’re
making that easy!”
Jennifer
Cassidy is in the ring, checking in on the European Fiery Nation before turning
to the Glimmer Sisters. She backs up and calls for the bell. Dakon steps up as Gia and Gina speak for a moment before
Gia, we think, stays in the ring, while Gina exits. Dakon
then runs across and runs over and Gia ducks, just at the last minute. Gia
turns and Dakon turns around and Gia jumps up and
climbs up onto the middle turnbuckle, straddling him. She nails him with a
couple of forearms shots before Theron shoves her back. She rolls through and
Gina grabs his arm and pulls on it. Dakon turns and
nails her with a hard right before he turns back as Gia runs at him and hits a
running splash, driving her chest into his face. He staggers out as Gia steps
back and then looks over and hits a sweep kick to the shin. Dakon
falls forward and rolls over. Gia moves over and dives onto him, pressing her
body against him and then nailing him with a couple of hard shots before Dakon shoves her off.
Sharper:
“And quickly, this is turning into a fight. One of the Glimmer Sisters, we’ll
say its Gia, using her body.”
Knots:
“Clearly trying to distract Dakon early. And look at
Ludvig, he’s licking his lips!”
Sharper:
“Eriksson is single and I’ve overheard he was jokingly
saying he was looking forward to this.”
Dakon gets
up as Gia goes for a forearm. She strikes Dakon and
then hits a dropkick. Gia turns and runs into the ropes. Dakon
gets up and then lifts her up and drops her throat first onto the top rope. The
crowd ohs as Gia falls back. Dakon turns and tags in
Ludvig. Gia starts to get up, coughing and turns into Dakon
and Ludvig who hoist her up and then drop her, stomach first into their
extended knees. Gia rolls over and Ludvig Eriksson goes for the pin.

Gia
kicks out. She turns as Eriksson grabs her and pulls her up and then moves her
into the corner. Eriksson says something to her, backing up and showing himself
up. Gia then steps up and smiles before then jumping into his arms, pressing
her chest into him and then trying to cause his weigh to shift, so she can tag
in Gina, but Eriksson stops and then drops down into a kneeling spinebuster. He
leans forward for the pin.
1!
2!
Gia
kicks out. Both get up and Ludvig steps up and grabs Gia and wrenches her arm.
Sharper:
“A unique pin there as Eriksson seems to be looking to play to Gia’s efforts.”
Knots:
“Do you blame him?!”
Sharper:
“Still, the point is to win. So he better say focused
there.”
Gia
winces as Eriksson wrenches the arm again and then whips her into the corner.
Eriksson runs after, but Gia ducks and rolls forward. Eriksson stops at the
corner and turns around and runs at Gia, but Gia ducks and pulls him down with
a school boy.

Eriksson
kicks out, and Gia lets her arm linger as she slides it out. Eriksson turns and
Gia turns and tags in Gina. Gia turns and runs at Eriksson as Eriksson gets up
and Gia runs at him. She ducks a clothesline. Eriksson then steps up and
forearms Gina before Gia runs at Eriksson and Eriksson elbows her. Cassidy goes
to get Gia out of the ring, but this gives Gina the opportunity to low blow
Eriksson. Again, she lets her arm linger there before pulling away and Eriksson
drops to the mat. Gina then smirks as she walks around the ring. Gia rolls to
the floor, smirking too.
Knots:
“Well, Eriksson getting a lot of attention!”
Sharper:
“Gia took some of it. And I wonder if that was her taking a shot to set up
Gina. She got all of that low blow and Gia made sure
to get the official, Jennifer Cassidy’s attention!”
Eriksson
winces, holding himself and getting up and Gina runs into the ropes, bouncing
off and hitting the Taste the Cake! Gina goes for the pin.
1!
2!
Eriksson
gets his shoulder up. Gina rolls over and starts to get up. Eriksson moves to
the corner. Gina walks over and stands over him. She then grabs him and pulls
him up before Eriksson elbows her in the ribs and then again
and again before then Eriksson jumps to the middle rope and dives back
with a back elbow. Gina rolls through. Eriksson get sup and turns and tags in Dakon Theron. Theron enters as Gina gets up and they walk
over and both gutwrench Gina before hoisting her up
and hitting a vicious double powerbomb. The crowd ohs. Theron goes for the pin.
1!
2!
Gina
gets her shoulder up. She rolls over as Theron then grabs her by the hair.
Theron then clubs her in the back.
Sharper:
“Eriksson getting Theron in. Clearly, the focus to win over the focus to…well,
you can put that together.”
Knots:
“And Theron, he’s not interested at all. He’s come here to win.”
Theron
pulls Gina up again and clubs her again. Gina drops down before Theron grabs
her and whips her into the ropes. She bounces off and Theron scoops her up and
onto his shoulder before hitting a powerslam. He goes for the lateral press.
1!
2!
Gia
breaks it up and rolls out of the ring. Theron looks at her and then turns back
as Gina starts to get up and Theron steps over her and hits a crossface punch and then another and another. Gina grabs at
the ropes. Cassidy counts.

3!
4!
Theron
is forced back and then gets in the face of Cassidy. Gia looks on at Gina as
Gina starts to get up and Theron walks over and grabs her and pulls her up and
Gina tries to grab at the ropes. Theron then goes for a German suplex, but Gina bends back, blocking it and rolls forward
into a roll-up pin.
1!
2!
Theron
kicks out. Both get up and Theron hits a European uppercut. Gina falls back.
Theron turns and tags in Eriksson. Gina starts to get up and Theron grabs her
as Eriksson gets ready. Theron whips her into the ropes. Gina bounces off and
Theron goes to hoist her up for the European United Drop, but Gia enters the
ring and runs across and jumps into Eriksson’s arms, pressing her chest into
his face. Theron hoists Gina up, but then glances back, seeing the distraction.
Gina, however, counters with a DDT. Gia jumps down and smirks as Cassidy then
forces her out of the ring. Gia winks at Eriksson and Eriksson turns and grabs
Gina, trying to refocus, but she counters with a small package.
1!
2!
Eriksson
kicks out.
Sharper:
“And Gia and Gina again, using their attractiveness and their chemistry here.”
Knots:
“Gia just came in and I think that’s the first double team move stopped by
someone driving their chest into their opponent’s face!”
Sharper:
“It worked, but…oh…Eriksson, hits the dropkick. Gina in trouble here.”
Both
Eriksson and Gina get up and Eriksson hits a dropkick. Eriksson then runs to
the ropes, jumping to the middle rope and hitting a lionsault.
He hooks the leg.
1!
2!
Gina
kicks out. She rolls over and starts to get up. Eriksson then turns and grabs
at her as Theron rolls out of the ring. Eriksson tries to pull at her, trying
to grab the back of her top to keep her close for some offensive maneuver, but
Gina starts to pull at her top and then lifts it up to get free. The crowd
roars as the camera angle changes.
Knots:
“What the-“
Sharper:
“Gina! She just slipped out!”
Knots:
“Contorted out more like it and well, uh…”
Sharper:
“Folks…I…I hope the censors are ready.”
Eriksson
looks at the top in his hand and Gina turns. The camera stays at a wide shot as
we see some pixelation on the screen. Fans are cheering as Eriksson then throws
the shirt at Gina. Cassidy heads over to help her, but Gina ducks under and
rolls up Eriksson, pulling on his tights, causing his bare ass to show!
1!
2!
Eriksson
kicks out. Gina then rolls over, making no attempt to cover up and turns, only
for Theron to run over and clothesline her down, while running along the apron.
Gina rolls over as Eriksson turns, pulling up his pants. Cassidy heads over to
Gina, handing her her shirt. Theron enters the ring,
annoyed, yelling at Eriksson. Eriksson looks over as Cassidy gets up and tells
Theron to get out. This leads Gina to roll out of the ring. Gia, seeing this,
quickly takes off her top and enters as Eriksson is watching Gina.
Knots:
“Hell yeah!”
Sharper:
“Gia…twin magic and…”
Knots:
“Making sure no one sees a difference! That’s for sure! And every hot-blooded
American male and a bunch of hot-blooded American women-“
Sharper:
“Please tell me they’re covered somehow!”
Knots:
“Oh don’t worry. Sounds like they had this in their back pocket! Trust me! I’m
watching closely!”
Gia
runs up rolls up Eriksson again, pulling on his tights as Cassidy turns back.
1!
2!
3!
The
bell sounds. Gia lets go, pulling back more, causing her to almost pull
Eriksson’s tights right down. She then rolls out of the ring as Theron enters
and storms forward. Gia rolls out to the floor, where Gina has placed her top
back on. They raise each other’s arms, making sure Gia is giving a clear view
as Eriksson looks over. Gia then turns and grabs her top from the apron.
Phillips:
“Here are your winners, via pinfall, Gia and Gina, the Glimmer Sisters!”
Sharper:
“And the Glimmer Sisters have won this match. And with ample help from their
assets!”
Knots:
“They use everything they have and more and no one can seemingly stop them!”
Sharper:
“Many fans cheering for them, but I’m terribly sorry to those at home. We had
to go to a wide shot and pixelate some of that…”
Knots:
“That’s why you want to come to an SCW show live! We have a bit of everything!”
Gia
puts her shirt back on, allowing the cameras to come up closer. Eriksson pulls
up his tights as he gets up. Theron turns to him as Gia and Gina smirk and
start to walk around the ring. They raise their arms as they walk to the back.
Backstage, we see Chris Dumont talking to a Japanese
reporter. He finishes up as he turns as we see Irvine walk
over to him.
Dumont: “What’s up? Did David finally come to his
sense?”
Irvine: “I don’t know what to make there. He’s off
doing his thing. Just focus on tomorrow, but about that….”
Irvine turns as Deanna Frost walks over to him.
Dumont: “Deanna…uh…I’m a bit surprised.”
Deanna: “We’ve not had much interaction, but…you’re facing
Veil tomorrow, right?”
Dumont: “Yeah. Thanks to Knots.”
Deanna: “Well I don’t know what Knots is thinking. But
he’s dangerous and…look…I took this from him. I don’t know if it may help. But
maybe…maybe it helps you. If Veil is gone…it’s a net good.”
Deanna then hands out a pouch and Dumont takes it and
looks at it.
Dumont: “What’s this?”
Deanna: “He called it the Heart of Vail. I don’t know
if it’s important or not. Just…anything that helps you take him down. And
frankly, won’t be bad for Heaven to get a message too.
Dumont smirks.
Dumont: “Thanks…I’ll let you know.”
Deanna nods and goes to walk off. Dumont stops her.
Dumont: “Hey….good luck
tomorrow too.”
Deanna nods and heads off as the scene cuts to
commercial.
COMMERCIALS
Breakdown returns as we see CHBK with Gina and Gia Glimmer.
The crowd roars upon seeing them.
CHBK: “What are you two doing?”
Gina: “What? Did you not like our show out there?”
Gia: “I thought we did well. I mean we won. The crowd seemed
to like it.”
CHBK: “That’s not what I’m talking about.”
Gina: “Hey…it just happened to come off.
Unfortunately, wardrobe malfunctions happen.”
Gia: “They do.”
CHBK: “And I now have to deal
with the FCC. And also, never mind that there may have
been kids in the crowd! Plus, you took your shirt off intentionally-“
Gia: “I didn’t think you’d be the prude.”
CHBK: “Two different things at work-“
Gina: “Relax. We’re prepared. We had extra coverage.
Want to see?”
Gina goes to lift her shirt.
CHBK: “Stop.”
Gia: “We don’t mind. I’m sure it won’t be anything a
Heartbreaker hasn’t seen before.”
Gina: “We’re just wearing pasties. They have to pay more for well…more.”
CHBK shakes his head.
Gia: “Now that’s how many matches we’ve won in a row?”
Gina: “Including over your number one contenders-“
CHBK: “That’s another conversation altogether. But
with you two, I’m going to have to make sure you’re on after the watershed.”
Gina: “Fine by us.”
Gia: “We’ll still bring a show.”
CHBK shakes his head and walks off. Gia and Gina smirk
as we cut back to ringside.
Knots: “Well…how’s that for a hot start, huh?”
Sharper: “The Glimmer Sisters…they are two of a kind.”
All of
a sudden, the lights go out, prompting a surprised pop from the fans.
“In the Name of Love” by Arion feat. Cyan Kicks begins to play, the LED screens
flickering to life to show a large wisteria tree in front of a starry night sky
with a beautiful moon, the stars seeming like they’re slowly shifting and
dancing around as petals from the tree fall and gracefully glide through the
sky. One spotlight comes to life on the left side of the stage from the
camera’s perspective, revealing Amelia Nevado standing underneath it, eyes
focused on the ring and a small smile on her lips as her hands are folded in
front of her, giving her the look of a proper young lady. A second spotlight
comes to life on the right side of the stage, revealing La Pequeña
Luz standing underneath it with the kind of grin that could light up a room all
on its own as she motions with her hands for the fans to get pumped up, which
they immediately proceed to do. The two slowly turn their attention to one
another and begin closing the distance, their spotlights following them as they
stop within arm’s reach of one another, where Amelia extends her hand and Luz
takes it before they pull their bodies close, the spotlights merging into one
piercing through the darkness. When the song goes into the chorus, the two
ladies begin to literally waltz their way down to the ring, fast and fluid to
keep pace with the song as the spotlight follows their every move, leaving fans
mesmerized by their synergy. As the chorus reaches its end and the two find themselves
at the bottom of the ramp, they push away from one another as far as their arms
will allow without letting go before quickly pointing to the LED screens with
their free hands, where the night scene is immediately engulfed in white before
transitioning to a video package of the two ladies in action, both together and
individually. Slowly, the two release one another, the single spotlight
splitting in two again as Amelia makes her way up the steps to walk across the
apron on one side, wiping her feet before stepping through the ropes. Luz,
meanwhile, hops up onto the apron right in front of her and grabs the top rope
before vaulting herself into a somersault into the ring, landing on her feet.
She moves to the center of the ring and drops to her knees, cupping her hands
together in front of her while Amelia stands right behind her, hands folded
before her once again. As Luz lifts her cupped hands upward, the arena lights
slowly begin to come back on as Amelia takes her hands and pulls her to her feet,
spinning her around one final time into a tight embrace and a soft kiss before Amelia
heads over to the corner, grabbing a microphone waiting for her.
Sharper:
“From one team to another, the Light in the Darkness, not competing together
tomorrow night. But in two separate, yet very important matches.”
Knots: “Nevado
has Chris Cannon and La Pequena Luz could be US
Champion!”
Amelia
looks around as the crowd cheers for her.
Amelia:
“Thank you Houston. We are honoured to have the opportunity to come out here
and talk to you before tomorrow, we both aim to have a night we can remember.”
Amelia
pauses.
Amelia:
“This event has had some interesting past for us. It was a night where two
years ago we got engaged.”
The crowd
cheers.
Amelia:
“But the Brand had other plans to avoid it being a fully happy night. Last year,
we retained the SCW World Tag Team Championship.”
Amelia
pauses.
Amelia:
“This year, one of us could be holding gold. While I…I could have the biggest
singles win in my career. I was honoured when Chris Cannon picked me to face
him. Cannon, a former World Champion. A British legend. And someone as driven
as they come.”
Amelia
pauses briefly, choosing her words carefully.
Amelia:
“Even if I may disagree with some of his tactics or what he’s willing to do, I
know I will get a challenge tomorrow night. I know tomorrow will be a night
that if Chris Cannon beats me, some experts and analysts may just chalk it up
to him back to where he was. They may even say it was a foregone conclusion.
They should reconsider that position if they think that way. Chris Cannon may
be great. And he is. Don’t let any but that follows take away from that. But…I
want to prove I can be great too. And it may in part be because it helps me
decide what I’m going to do with my Trios Tournament contract. I’m running out
of time to decide what to do. But if I beat Chris tomorrow night…and I give him
the fight he both deserves, but one he cannot overcome…then I know I can take
that contract and without doubt use it for what may be the next biggest match
of career.”
The
crowd cheers as Amelia turns and hands the microphone to Luz. Luz walks around
the ring.
Luz: “Houston!”
The crowd
roars.
Luz: “Like
Amelia, I have a match that has its own honour. A match where four of us will
enter this ring. Three of us have shown we are honourable. We will fight and as
hard as we can to EARN what we claim. And one who doesn’t,
but will have no choice but to earn if they want to claim what they say
they are. I’ll start with you Jordan, because thanks to Deanna, you are here.
She was right to add you. Right to make you have to
prove yourself. Because when you face me, face Asher, face her…three people you
have harmed by your actions…you will HAVE to be humbled. And you better pray
for forgiveness.”
The crowd
cheers as Luz looks at the camera.
Luz: “While
Asher…Deanna…I will be honoured to share the ring with two competitors who are
going to put their souls up to compete to hold the unified United States
Championship! I had said Deanna I would hold it for you when you came back. I
failed. But I am here when you fight for it. And while it’s not one on one, it’s
the match we should have had last fall. And Asher, you’ve proven you deserve to
hold that title. Let’s give the fans a show…and may the best competitor win.”
The
crowd cheers. Amelia takes the microphone back.
Amelia:
“Rise to Greatness always leaves a lasting impact. This year…what will be that
impact on us!”
“In the
Name of Love” plays as Amelia brings the microphone down. She hands it off to
Jason Phillips. She then steps back as Luz turns and exits the ring. Amelia
joins her and the two walk around the ring, interacting with fans.
Knots: “Luz
can talk big. Majors is ready for this.”
Sharper:
“And we know Asher Hayes and Deanna Frost won’t be taking it easy. As for
Amelia, Chris Cannon is as driven as we’ve seen him.”
Knots: “He’s
looking to rewrite history. Amelia may just be in the way of a frieghttrain. They both better be ready. First Rise to
Greatness they’re not teaming up. Their natural support system is a bit
different this time.”
Luz and
Amelia walk around the ring, continuing to interact
with the fans before we cut away.
Backstage,
Jaina Lancaster stands in the SCW interview area.
Jaina: “Welcome
backstage here to the interview area. I’m Jaina Lancaster and I’m here with SCW
agent Lucas Knight. Lucas, thanks for taking some time to talk to me.”
Knight:
“Of course.”
Jaina: “I
wanted to talk to you as tomorrow night, Syren faces Meghan Strader. A huge
match. Now, your history with Syren is legendary, but what people may not know
is you’re more familiar with Meghan Strader than you’ve let on. There was a bit
of an interaction between you and her a few weeks ago. But there’s a lot more
to this. Can you fill us in?”
Lucas: “Look,
that’s something that’s in part in the past. The Order of Chaos was something
SCW fans know as involving Christy and myself. You may remember someone known
as the Redeemer from back in the day. I thought it would be water under the bridge.
But there’s another name that some fans of SCW may briefly remember…Simon
Kalis. There’s a connection between him and Meghan. And Meghan has learned from
him.”
Jaina: “And
what does that tell you for tomorrow’s match?”
Lucas
rubs his head.
Lucas: “It’s
that Syren’s in for a long night. Meghan Strader is as driven as they’ve come.
SCW fans have seen that. She’s not held up one inch. Syren doesn’t either. But
something will give when these two very driven women meet. Syren…the world
should know you should never count her out. But Meghan…we’ve not even come
close to seeing what she can do in that ring in SCW. And tomorrow night, I fear
Syren will see it and she better be ready for it!”
Jaina: “Two
Championship caliber competitors meeting tomorrow night. Thank you for your thought Lucas.”
Lucas nods
and walks off.
Jaina: “We’ll
be back with more from the Rise to Greatness pre-show, after this!”
The scene
slowly fades to commercial.
COMMERCIALS
The scene opens up with grainy
footage in some sort of bunker as we see a figure covered by a black sheet.
They seem to be eating something as we see movement underneath, the ruffling of
a bag, and clear crunching. We then see a member of THEM step in front of the
figure.
THEM: “The time is coming near. The Dependables. Hollywood. They will both come to their knees
as they cannot stand up to the power of THEM and they will not save their precious
Destiny! TICK! TOCK! TICK! TOCK!”
We then hear the THEM member
laugh as we hear more people laughing. The figure under the sheet continues to
eat something crunchy, taking another bite as the scene fades out.
Dante Slayton vs. Chris Lawler
The
lights in the arena fade down to a low blue as suddenly a voice speaks up from
somewhere within the darkness that surrounds everybody.

Marilyn Manson's cover of Depeche Mode's "Personal Jesus" begins to
play, the fans in attendance start to stomp in time with the drumline as Dante
Slayton slowly walks out onto the entrance way, playing to the crowds followed
by both Wil Pierce and Alex Belmont who do fist bumps with Dante before he
slowly starts to make his way down to the ring. Belmont and Pierce head to the
back.
Phillips:
“The following contest is scheduled for onefall with
a twenty minute time limit. First, he hails from
Boston, Massachusetts, representing the Shinigami Foundation, known
internationally as the “Harbinger of Fury”, Dante Slayton!”
Dante
continues his walk down to the ring, occasionally fist bumping with a fan
before he gets to the ring steps where stands there for a moment with his eyes
closed as he fights to center himself before he slams both of his fists on the
top of the ring steps before climbing them, wiping his feet off before entering
the ring properly before hitting his father's signature crucifix pose to the
roar of the crowds.
Sharper:
“For Dante Slayton, this match is going to be about one thing – his name. His
legacy. He took issue with the fact that Lawler beat him. He’s made this
personal.”
Knots:
“Lawler didn’t help in response. Slayton is someone who’s shown how dangerous
he is in a short time. He’s beaten some big names. And he wasn’t going to let
Lawler be a blemish there.”
Sharper:
“Slayton lost the TV Title to Lawler. And that set everything off.”
The
dimmed lights cast an atmosphere of anticipation as the arena falls into
darkness, the only illumination coming from the pulsating strobe lights. The
crowd's murmurs fade into a hush as the opening chords of "Warrior"
by Imagine Dragons reverberate through the speakers. From the depths of the
darkness, a figure emerges, his silhouette outlined against the backdrop of
flashing lights. With each step, the floor trembles beneath his feet, echoing
the determination that propels him forward. It's Chris Lawler, his presence
commanding attention as he strides purposefully down the entrance ramp.
Phillips:
“His opponent, from Nashville, Tennessee, he is Chris Lawler!”
His eyes, a piercing shade of blue, remain fixed on the ring ahead. Ignoring
the cacophony of cheers and jeers that surround him, Lawler remains resolute in
his mission, his gaze locked on the squared circle where his destiny awaits. As
Lawler reaches the foot of the ring, Dante Slayton runs at the ropes and dives
through the ropes with a huge tope suicida. He takes
Lawler down before flipping through, landing on the rampway with a thud of his
own. The crowd erupts!
Sharper:
“And Slayton through the ropes! Here we go! Lawler took that straight on.”
Knots:
“He got all of it. Slayton was not going to miss and made sure to get it all
even if it took him out in the process!”
Lawler
rolls over as the official, Steve Hollinsworth, drops down to the floor, trying
to get them in the ring. Slayton grabs Lawler and pulls him up and blasts him
with a hard right. Lawler staggers as Slayton grabs Lawler’s hair again and
blasts him again and then keeps holding on. Lawler ends up against the ring
apron and Slayton nails him with a series of hard right hands, causing Lawler
to drop to a knee. Slayton then looks around, playing to the crowd a bit,
trying to keep his energy up. Lawler winces in pain and pulls himself up, but
Slayton then steps up and hits a discus forearm to the jaw. Lawler falls over
to the steel steps and rolls down. Slayton turns and stomps him in the ribs over and over and over again before electing to just choke
him with his boot. Hollinsworth tries to pry him off.
Sharper:
“Slayton wearing out Lawler with hard right hands.”
Knots:
“Lawler seems to always get into this around now. Had that war with Creek last
year. Now Slayton this year.”
Sharper:
“He’s just choking the life out of Chris Lawler. Hollinsworth trying to get him
off of Chris.”
Slayton
keeps choking him for a few more moments before then stepping off and snapping
at Hollinsworth.
Slayton:
“Just count the fucking pin!”
Slayton
turns back and grabs Lawler. He drags him up and nails him with another hard
right. Lawler falls over and crawls over the steel steps. Slayton climbs over
and grabs him and drags him up and then goes to run him into the barricade.
Lawler blocks it. He tries again, but Lawler blocks it and elbows Slayton in
the ribs. He elbows him again and then turns and nails Slayton with a hard
right of his own. Slayton falls over the steel steps and down to the mats. He
starts to get up and Lawler staggers over and clubs him in the back. Slayton
falls to a knee and then Lawler grabs him and rolls him into the ring. Lawler
slides in after, but Slayton dives over and drills him with the point of his
elbow in the back of the head. Slayton gets up and drives his elbow into Lawler
again as Hollinsworth enters the ring, calling for the bell. The bell sounds.
Sharper:
“Lawler fighting back, but as they get into the ring. The match starts and
Slayton back over the veteran.”
Knots:
“Going to be long night for Lawler at this rate.”
Slayton
then drags Lawler into the corner and just starts to soccer kick him in the
side over and over again.

staggers along the ropes. Lawler then runs at him and hits him with the Blitz

his stomach. Lawler turns around and pushes him over for the pin.
Sharper:
“Lawler got all of that kick! That Blitz Kick in the
ropes!”
Knots:
“Slayton may be out! This would ruin him!”
Lawler
hooks the leg.

Slayton
gets his shoulder up. The crowd ohs. Slayton rolls over to his side. He looks
around as Lawler then gets up and grabs Slayton, dragging him up and then
running him over into the corner, driving him face first into the top
turnbuckle. Slayton turns as Lawler hits a back elbow and then another and
another. He whips Slayton across the ring. He hits the opposite corner. Lawler
runs across and goes for a proper Blitz Kick, but Slayton ducks under and spins
around. Lawler is hung up in the corner. He winces and turns around and Slayton
hits a thrust kick to the chest and then one to the side of the head before
turning and hitting a shoot kick to the head. Lawler drops to the mat.
Sharper:
“And Slayton returns fire with a series of hard kicks and the third one floors
Lawler.”
Knots:
“Nowhere to go and Slayton got full contact to the side of his head.”
Lawler
rolls over, dazed and gets up, turning into Slayton who hits a snap side belly
to belly suplex. He hooks the leg.

Lawler
kicks out. Slayton then gets up and hits a hard elbow drop to the throat of
Lawler. He gets up and hits a second one before then grinding his elbow into

Lawler
kicks out. Slayton looks up and looks around and then drags him over to the
ropes. He places him on the middle rope and then wraps himself around the rope
and locks in the End of Heartache!
Sharper:
“Slayton trying to almost choke the life out of Lawler.”
Knots:
“Making sure he won’t forget this one. That’s for sure!”

Slayton
is again forced to let go and backs up. He then looks around as Lawler starts
to stir. Slayton then grabs him, drags him up and hits a German suplex into a bridge.

Lawler
rolls his shoulder up. Slayton holds on though. He slowly starts to pull Lawler
up and then clubs him over and over and over in the
back of the head, only for Lawler, out of desperation, to hit a mule kick.
Slayton falls back, holding himself as Lawler drops to his knee. Hollinsworth
turns to Lawler. Lawler crawls to the ropes.
Knots:
“That’ll stop Slayton!”
Sharper:
“Lawler going low. Having fewer and fewer options.
Stopping the offense of Slayton.”
Lawler
starts to use the ropes to get up as Slayton turns, clearly annoyed and clearly
in pain. He starts to get up and turns to Lawler who nails him with an
uppercut. Slayton falls back to the corner. Lawler then runs over and kicks him
in the ribs once and then again before scooping him up and hitting a huge
backbreaker. He hooks the leg.

Slayton
pushes him off. Lawler then turns and drives his elbow into the chest of
Slayton. He gets up and elbows him again. He then goes for the lateral press.

kicks out. Both get up and turn to one another. Slayton goes for a hard right,
but Lawler lifts him up and falls back with the hot shot. Slayton falls back.
Lawler goes for another pin.

Slayton
kicks out again.
Sharper:
“Slayton in trouble. Lawler using anything he has. The corner, the ropes.”
Knots:
“And Slayton now trying to find an opening. Keeping this match alive too.
Probably out of spite and anger!”
Lawler
then grabs Slayton and pulls him up. He then turns and whips him hard into the
corner. Slayton hits hard and staggers out as Lawler then hoists him up and
hits a military press into a slam. The crowd cheers. Slayton gets up, holding
his back and moves to the corner. Lawler runs at him and spears him in the
ribs. He then backs up as Slayton stumbles out. Lawler hoists him up again in
another military press, but this time, Slayton rakes his eyes. He drops down
behind Lawler. Lawler turns around and Dante hooks him up and drops him with
the Dante’s Inferno!
Sharper:
“Dante Slayton dropping Lawler – all two hundred and thirty
five pounds of him, right on his head, on his knee!”
Knots:
“Slayton’s not done yet. He’s not going for the pin.”
Sharper:
“And he’s got something in mind.”
He
grabs Lawler and drags him up again. He then hooks him up and hoists him up and
then hits a second Dante’s Inferno. Lawler drops down into a heap. Slayton then
grabs him again and hoists him up a third time. He drops him with a third
Dante’s Inferno. Lawler is down, but then, Slayton grabs him and pulls him up
to his knees. Lawler is half out of it and he locks in
the Game of Death! The crowd erupts!”
Sharper:
“No cover! But now the Game of Death!”
Knots:
“Lawler! You may get the life squeezed out of it!”
Slayton
yells out as he pulls back on the head and arm of Lawler. Lawler however
reaches out with his other arm, trying to get to the ropes. He manages to push
up to his feet and then starts to fall forward. Slayton keeps pulling back as
Lawler then reaches out and taps the bottom rope. He grabs at the bottom rope
as the official calls for the break.
Sharper:
“Lawler got to the ropes! Slayton may have had Lawler, but he wanted him to
either tap out or pass out!”
Knots:
“Is the revenge costing him! Lawler has a second life!”
1!
2!
3!

Slayton
keeps it on and the official warns him and Slayton
finally lets go. He walks around the ring. Lawler
rolls over to the ropes.
Sharper:”
And Slayton, stretching the rules. Hollinsworth knows the emotion here and
using his discretion.”
Lawler
turns as Slayton heads over and grabs Lawler, but Lawler pulls him by the
tights and Slayton goes through the ropes to the floor. Lawler crawls to the
middle of the ring. He then starts to get up as Slayton, annoyed, slides back
in. He then gets up, but Lawler hoists him up and hits the Fury Suplex. The crowd ohs. Lawler rolls through for the pin.
1!
2!
Slayton
gets his shoulder up. Lawler turns, holding his arm and shaking it out. Lawler
starts to get up and Slayton turns over, gritting his teeth. He then starts to
get up and Lawler heads over and clubs him in the back. He nails him again and
then spins him around and hoists him up in a military press. The crowd roars
and Slayton drops down and Lawler seems to go for the Lawler Cutter, but
Slayton blocks it and grabs him and pushes him into the ropes. Lawler falls to
the middle rope and Slayton then locks in the End of Heartache, using the ropes
for further leverage. He pulls back.
Sharper:
“The rear naked choke and on the second rope! He’s got Lawler on it.”
Knots: “He
is going to choke him out!”
1!
2!
3!
4!
5!
Slayton
however refuses to let, pulling back as Lawler starts to fade in the ropes. Hollinsworth
tries to pull him off. Slayton refuses as Hollinsworth then calls for the bell.
The crowd roars and boos.
Phillips:
“Here is your winner, via disqualification, Chris Lawler!”
Sharper:
“Slayton still has the hold on. Hollinsworth has disqualified him!”
Knots: “Lawler’s
out! He’s out! And thanks to this choke!”
Slayton
keeps it on for a few moments longer. The bell sounds again and Slayton finally
lets go and backs up. He looks over at Lawler, who
drops to the mat. Slayton steps up.
Slayton:
“Who’s the chickenshit now? How’s that for making a statement! Good luck challenging
for other titles, veteran…”
The crowd
looks on as Slayton is held back by Hollinsworth for a moment longer before officials head to the ring. Chris rolls over, coughing.
Slayton just smiles as Lawler turns and rolls over. Slayton is forced out of
the ring and he drops to the floor. Cameras follow him
to the floor and Slayton turns and heads to the back, pleased of his decision.
He walks down the rampway before we cut back to the ring. Lawler rolls to his
stomach and looks up.
Lawler:
“I’ll destroy that son of a bitch!”
Lawler
pulls himself to the apron, seething, before coughing briefly. The scene then cuts
to commercial.

The
Rise to Greatness Pre-Show returns as Jaina Lancaster is backstage, walking
down one of the hallways.
Jaina: “Welcome
backstage here at the Toyota Center in Houston. There’s a lot of anticipation
in the air for what awaits all of SCW tomorrow. Much
of the roster is here for SCW Fanfest, but there are a few notable absences.
One of which is Fall of Man. They are not here. Presumably they are focusing on
their matches tomorrow night. And we can-“
Jaina’s
then stopped as we see Gavin Taylor walking down the hallway as his All-Star
Security, Jack and Karl Barker step up.
Karl: “Out
of the way ma’am.”
They
move Jaina as Gavin steps forward.
Jaina: “Gavin?”
Gavin: “Next
US Champ! Coming through!”
Gavin
heads through as his A.S.S. lead him through. Jaina looks a bit confused before
turning back to the camera.
Jaina: “Uh…back
to ringside?”
We open up with a panning shot of the inside of the arena.
Sharper:
“Thank you for that Jaina.”
Knots: “Gavin’s
a bit ahead of himself!”
Sharper:
“Just a bit. He has to survive the scaffold scramble and
then win, but maybe just some confidence for the All-Star. Meanwhile, Jaina mentioned
the Fall of Man. Waylon Creek will be in action and he’s had a first half to 2025
that has seen him have to deal with disappointment. But one action he made,
attacking the legendary Amy Chastaine, has got him in an unlikely match that
may be another roadblock to his advancement.”
The
Rise to Greatness logo comes up on the screen.
The scene opens up to show
Ryan Lyman walking around the ring.
Ryan: “Nothing is going to prevent that…and
Simon…you have your feel good win at Retribution, you lucky bastard, Now screw off
and die so I can finish what I started before you tried to ruin it and-“
We then cut to see Simon Lyman walking out from the
back, cane in hand, as he uses it to steady himself. Amy Chastaine walks out
with him. Ryan then turns and sees them as the crowd cheers.
Sharper: “Simon and Amy have heard enough!”
Knots: “And Ryan sees them!”
Sharper: “He does, but
wait! Wait! It’s the Fall of Man!”
Simon and Amy make their way forward and take a few
more steps onto the ramp before we see Giovanni Aries, Waylon Creek and James
Evans run out from the back. Giovanni grabs Amy Chastaine from behind. She
turns, but Aries throws Chastaine onto the stage towards Creek. Creek then
nails her with a clothesline. She goes down. Ryan laughs as Simon turns around
as James Evans clotheslines her down. Chastaine slowly rolls over and Creek
then grabs her, muscling her up and before she can get her footing under her, and
then throws her off the end of the stage. The crowd roars as Chastiane flies off and through a table with some cords and
a laptop on the floor next to the stage. Chastaine rolls over into a heap.
Sharper: “My God! Amy Chastaine was just
manhandled!”
Knots: “She tried to fight, but Creek is just that
strong!”
“Darkness Always Wins” by Halestorm starts to play
in the background. We see Amy Chastaine heading to the ring at Taking Hold of
the Flame. The crowd roars as we see her entering the ring and immediately
nailing Creek with a Lightning Strike. This is followed by shots of her walking
around the Thunderdome, supporting Lyman, but also trying to get to Creek.
Now the world is still
It's just me spinning out
Trapped inside my head
Feeling numb
And there's no song to sing
To save me from myself
Fading into black
We then cut to a shot of Amy Chastaine attacking
Waylon Creek backstage, nailing him with a shot to the back. Creek staggers as
Amy nailed him again. We cut to see Amy Chastaine running to the ring as Creek
leans against the ropes in his Tag Team Championship defense against the Shinigasmi Foundation. We see her crack him in the back
with a chair. The crowd ohs as Creek staggers forward and then we see Chastaine
diving off the top rope and hitting Creek with the Blackout.
We're all fighters, holding up our lighters
Chasing off the monsters, drowning in our sins
With every last breath, try to stop the sunset
Running with the shadows, darkness always wins
We cut to shots of Amy Chastaine in the ring before
we see William Heaven coming out to the stage. Heaven turns behind him. Amy
watches, before then looking up at the big screen. The crowd roars as we see
Waylon Creek in a military jacket, and fatigues, hop over the barricade. He
then runs to the ring. Amy notices the change in the angle on the big screen
and turns as Creek slides in. She runs over and stomps him in the back over and over and over again. The crowd roars. Chastaine
stomps him again and again before then backing up and
Creek starts to get up and Chastaine hits the Lightning Strike. Creek staggers
as Chastaine turns to the corner, exiting to the apron, and climbs up to the
top rope. She stands up and then dives off for the Eclipse, but Creek steps
forward and catches her and drives her down into his knee. Chastaine rolls
over, holding her back in pain.
I make the same mistakes
And I can't change my ways
It's how I've always been
It's in my bones, a heart of stone
The cold, cold's creeping in
I'm fading into black
Creek then gets up and grabs her and pumphandles her before muscling her up and planting her
with a pumphandle slam. The crowd ohs. Chastaine
rolls over and holds her head and neck. She starts to reach for the rope,
trying to use it to get back up. Creek just gets up and takes off his military
jacket and placing it on the top rope. He then waits as Chastaine gets up and
turns and walks into Creek who quickly applies the Canary! Creek pushes back
and pushes Amy down to the mat. He leans down on her. Amy grabs at the hand,
trying to pull it off, while stomping at the mat. Creek leans forward as Amy
starts to go limp from the pain. He keeps pushing as Amy is laid out. He then
looks down at her.
We're all fighters, holding up our lighters
Chasing off the monsters, drowning in our sins
With every last breath, try to stop the sunset
Running with the shadows, darkness always wins
Darkness always wins
We then see Amy Chastaine being attacked by Ryan LeCavalier backstage, before we see LeCavalier
ramming a foot locker into Amy Chastaine. Amy gets up,
bloodied.
Yeah!
Yeah, oh, yeah, oh
Yeah, oh, oh, oh
Yeah, oh, yeah, oh
Yeah, oh, oh, oh
Yeah
We cut to then see Amy Chastaine running to the
ring as Ryan LeCavalier turns, while Waylon Creek and
Glory Braddock compete in the ring. Amy then picks up some
speed and runs over and blocks a hard right from LeCavalier
before nailing her with a series of hard forearm shots before then turning and
running Ryan into the steel steps. Amy then turns and rolls into the ring. She
then starts to get up as Creek stomps Braddock. Demitra tries to stop Chastaine
as Chastaine keeps trying to get to Creek. Creek then steps over and stomps her
in the back once and then again and again. Chastaine
rolls over. This leads to Ryan LeCavalier, holding
her side, sliding in. She then runs over and grabs Chastaine. She clubs her in the back and then pulls her back as Demitra
tries to get them out. Creek turns back to Braddock and Braddock suddenly grabs
him and with all her might, sends him between the top and middle turnbuckles,
face first into the ringpost. LeCavalier
clubs at Chastaine before Demitra manages to pull them apart. LeCavalier is pushed back and falls over. Chastaine crawls
forward. Creek staggers out and Chastaine nails him with the Lightning Strike.
She turns as LeCavalier tries to get past Demitra,
only to then run at her and tackle her through the ropes to the floor. The
crowd erupts as Creek falls back into Glory who grabs his arms and hits the Glorification! Glory then hooks the leg. Demitra turns
and counts.

Creek kicks out just after the three, but Braddock rolls off as the bell sounds. The
crowd erupts in cheers.
Sharper: “Braddock, only
the second person, after Xander Valentine to do it! And thanks to the assist
from Amy Chastaine!”
Chastaine looks in the ring
and smiles.
We're all fighters, holding up our lighters
Chasing off the monsters, drowning in our sins
With every last breath, try to stop the sunset
Running with the shadows, darkness always wins
We then cut to a shot of Creek throwing Amy
Chastaine off the stage again.
Creek: “Amy…I hold you
partially responsible. You thought I threatened your career before….Rise to Greatness will be its end!”
We're all fighters, holding up our lighters
Chasing off the monsters, drowning in our sins
With every last breath, try to stop the sunset
Running with the shadows, darkness always wins
We then cut to a shot of Amy Chastaine standing
with Jaina before showing Chastaine hitting the Lightning Strike that helped
Glory Braddock beat Creek.
Jaina: “Seems like you’ve
gotten under the skin of Waylon Creek again and he’s made another threat
against your career.”
Chastaine: “Another one…he
already tried to take me out. Then again, after his little plot with Ryan LeCavalier and trust me, I won’t be forgetting about that
either….he’s lucky all I did was remind people of his
humanity. The best part, at Rise to Greatness, I plan to make it that that is
all he will be known for. He’s human. He’s beatable. And like so many
others…you show the cracks, and they fall apart. At Rise to Greatness, I’ll
help shatter the myth of Waylon Creek!”
The crowd cheers as
Chastaine stops and turns. The camera pans out to reveal Alex Belmont and Wil
Pierce of the Shinigami Foundation.
Belmont: “Hello Amy….Good luck at Rise to Greatness.”
Pierce: “Just like you…we
won’t be forgetting either.”
Darkness always wins
The scene cuts to black. After a few moments, the
Rise to Greatness logo comes up on the screen.
We then
see a still of Clyde Sutter & Melinda Braddock vs. Chance Owens & Kelsai Adamson come up on he screen
as “War Pigs” plays in the background.
Sharper:
“And next – Sutter and Braddock against Owens and Adamson. Another highly
personal contest, next, here on the Rise to Greatness Pre-Show, live from
Houston!”
The
scene fades out.

Clyde Sutter & Melinda Braddock vs. Chance Owens
& Kelsai Adamson
The
lights in the arena go out as the opening chords of “Unforgiven” by Metallica
begins to play. As the song picks up its pace a spotlight shines at the
top of the ramp and we see “The Assassin” Clyde Sutter standing there with a
sinister grin on his face. He is joined by the beautiful Melinda Braddock.
Both are dressed in their ring attire. After a few moments of soaking in the
crowd reaction, which he seems to enjoy despite their booing, Sutter and
Melinda begin to make their slow walk down the ramp.
Phillips:
“Your main event tonight – scheduled for onefall with
a thirty minute time limit. First, on their way to the
ring, they are the team of Clyde Sutter and Melinda Braddock, Fate’s Chosen
Assassins!”
The
spotlight follows the sinister sociopath as he approaches the ring. They reach
the ring area and Melinda kisses him on his cheek. Sutter then foregoes the
steel steps as he leaps up from the floor to the ring apron. He steps in and
turns and helps Melinda onto the apron. He then holds the ropes open for her as
she enters the ring. The spotlight shines down on both of
them as they just stand in the ring, gazing around the arena. The
sound of Metallica dies down and the lights come back on.
Sharper: “Our final match tonight. Our main event –
Sutter is going to deal fate alongside his femme fatale, Melinda Braddock.”
Knots: “Are Chance Owens and Kelsai
Adamson ready for this? They asked for it, but are they ready?”
Sharper: “Lord knows they want this. After Melinda
Braddock helped Sutter in attacking Kelsai Adamson. Now this is turned into a tag contest and
one with a lot of bad blood.”
Knots: “Fate’s already decided it though, Sharper!”
The
arena plunges into darkness and a strange noise is
heard… It’s almost like it’s a mix of a guitar and a helicopter’s rotor. A
mid-tempo drum beat starts up, quickly followed by a
rhythmic bass line. Then a VERY familiar voice can be heard.
Enter the arena and hit the lights
Step up now you're in for a ride
this is war, ain't no fun and games
we get it up, you go down in flames
Jagged green lights play across the screen and the stage as a voice that can
only belong to the one and only Dave Mustaine growls the lyrics to "Crush
'Em". Spotlights move around near the entranceway and one of them catches
someone's right arm in its beam.
Party time, going down
you better not mess us around
the stakes are rich, take a hit or stay
the price is high, someone's gonna pay
The spotlights are still moving around on the stage as the lights on the screen
start forming a pattern. One of the moving spotlights dances across someone's
left leg.
Heads I win, tails you lose
out of my way I'm coming through
roll the dice don't think twice
and we crush, crush 'em
The lights on the screen settle into a final configuration spelling out the
name "Chance Owens". The person in question comes out to stand on the
stage under some of the spotlights. Chance shields his eyes for a moment before
turning to his left and beckoning to someone. Kelsai
Adamson walks out from the back and the two stand on the stage. The crowd
cheers.
Phillips:
“Their opponents, they are the team of Kelsai Adamson
and Chance Owens!”
Chance
nods before heading down the ramp toward the ring, the lights catching the tiny
white stones on his forest green fighter's gloves. The cheers are absolutely deafening and they smile as they touch the hands
reaching out to them. Young children are the most eager and Chance is only too
happy to oblige them. Once they reach ringside, Kelsai
and Chance stop at the ringside area, looking up at the ring. Kelsai says something to Chance. Chance responds with
something to Kelsai. The two then rush the ring,
sliding in. The crowd erupts as they get up, met by Sutter and Braddock.
Sharper:
“And immediately face to face. These two teams. Kelsai
and Melinda and Chance and Clyde.”
Knots:
“Ready to be swatted down to where you belong?!”
Sharper:
“Buying into Sutter’s rhetoric?”
Knots:
“I’m just saying. Maybe it’s fate. Trust me. I’ve screwed with fate. And it’s
one reason I hate Rodeo Drive now!”
Sutter
smirks at Owens as Kelsai and Melinda just keep
glaring at one another. Just then, Kelsai blasts
Melinda with a hard right and then another. The bell sounds. The crowd erupts
as Sutter turns to grab Kelsai, but Owens nails him
with a hard right of his own. Owens knocks Sutter back to the corner as Kelsai pushes Melinda back into the Owens/Adamson corner.
She then nails her with a chop. The crowd woos. She hits another chop and Owens starts to kick at the ribs at Owens. Aaron
Demitra, the official, tries to get some order as Owens then looks at Adamson
as the two look at one another and both whip their counterparts out of the
corner. Sutter and Braddock collide into one another. Braddock goes down and Kelsai stomps at her, forcing her out of the ring. Owens
then runs over and clubs Sutter in the back. He looks up and Kelsai turns and hits a dropkick, knocking him back into
Owens who hits a Russian leg sweep. He rolls through, but
doesn’t go for a pin. Instead, he hammers away with a series of hard rights. Kelsai is forced out of the ring by Demitra.
Sharper:
“Owens hammering away on Sutter as Adamson and Owens have the early advantage.”
Knots: “Now that this is a fair fight-“
Sharper:
“It was before.”
Knots:
“Adamson went for the eyes!”
Kelsai stands
in her corner as Owens gets up off of Sutter. Sutter
rolls over and starts to get up, but Owens heads over and stomps him in the
back. He rolls over and Owens stomps him again and again.
Sutter gets up and then Owens grabs him and goes to whip him across the ring.
Sutter spins through and sends Owens in. Owens bounces off and jumps up and
hits a jumping shoulder tackle. The crowd roars. Sutter rolls over and gets up
and Owens tags in Adamson who demands getting in and she enters. Owens then snapmares Sutter down and Adamson runs into the ropes,
bouncing off and hitting a spinning heel kick. She rolls through and just then,
Melinda enters the ring and runs at Kelsai. Kelsai ducks and Melinda stops as Owens looks at her.
Melinda then goes for a hard right, but Owens blocks it and wrenches her arm
before spinning her around into Adamson who grabs her and throws her out of the
ring. Adamson then turns and goes for the pin as Owens exits.
1!
Sutter
kicks out. He rolls over, annoyed and Adamson dives onto him, nailing him with
an elbow drop before getting up and hitting another elbow drop.
Sharper:
“Adamson and Owens all over Fate’s Chosen Assassins!”
Knots:
“Only for now. Fate plays games, you know!”
Kelsai gets
up and walks around the ring. Sutter starts to get up and he turns to her and Kelsai hits a dropkick. He staggers to the ropes. Kelsai then gets up and runs at him and jumps to the middle
rope and hits an enziguri kick to the head. Sutter
staggers and Kelsai turns and runs to the neutral
corner. She climbs up to the top rope. Sutter staggers forward and Kelsai hits a moonsault into a
pin.
1!
2!
Sutter
kicks out. Both get up and Kelsai turns to Sutter who
scoops her up and then spins her around and into a vicious tilt-a-whirl slam.
The crowd ohs as Sutter rolls over, looking around. He then gets up to his
feet.
Knots:
“And there’s fate’s hand at work!”
Sharper:
“Just manhandling Kelsai Adamson. The tilt-a-whirl.
The impact.”
Sutter
gets up as Kelsai rolls over, holding her back.
Chance looks on and Sutter grabs her and clubs her violently in the back. Kelsai drops to the mat. She tries to fight up, using
Sutter to pull herself up and Sutter grabs her and headbutts her back down. He
then turns and runs over and nails Owens with a swatting like blow. Owens drops
down. He spins around as Sutter turns back to Kelsai
and he headbutts her again. She falls back to the ropes. Owens then slides in
and goes to get at Sutter. Sutter smirks as Demitra stops Owens. Melinda then
grabs Kelsai against the ropes as Sutter runs over
and knees her over and over and over again, while
she’s against the middle rope. Owens backs up and exits. Melinda lets go and
moves back to the corner. Sutter then grabs Kelsai and scoop slams her before tagging in Melinda.
Melinda then climbs up to the top rope. The crowd boos as Sutter just watches
her. She dives off with a flying headbutt.
Sharper:
“Melinda Braddock now in legally and Kelsai Adamson
in trouble. Shades of Glory Braddock, her mother.”
Knots:
“And right to the heart of Kelsai too.”
Braddock
hooks the leg.

2!
Kelsai
Adamson kicks out. She turns as Melinda grabs her and pulls her up and snapmares her down. She then pulls her back to the mat and
jumps up and hits a knee drop. She rolls through and Kelsai
holds her throat in pain. She starts to get up and Melinda grabs her and whips
her into the ropes. Adamson bounces off and Melinda hits a dropkick. She then
goes for another pin.
1!
2!
Kelsai pushes
her off and rolls over. She looks up and reaches out for a tag, but Melinda
pulls her back and then hooks her up and hits a snap suplex.
Sharper:
“And let’s not forget – Melinda Braddock very capable in that ring. She may be
largely offering her support to Clyde Sutter in SCW, but she’s certainly
someone who looks to be carrying the mantle of the Braddock name.”
Knots:
“Could get a big win at Rise to Greatness weekend to add to that.”
Kelsai stirs
as Braddock elbows her in the back. Kelsai turns and
swings wildly, but Braddock ducks it before then kicking her in the ribs. She
goes for a snap suplex, but Kelsai
spins through and shoves her off. But it’s not enough as Kelsai
turns for the tag, but Braddock dives back and grabs the leg. She pulls it back
and then folding over Kelsai’s legs. She then steps
in and then falls back with the Indian deathlock.
Melinda gets up again and then throws herself back again, adding more pressure
to the legs. Melinda turns and tags in Sutter. Kelsai
reaches out for the tag, but Sutter runs over and jumps up and hits an elbow
drop to the back of Kelsai.
Sharper:
“And Sutter cuts off Kelsai Adamson.”
Knots:
“This ramped up more when they attacked Kelsai and
now there’s nothing Chance can do about it unless he wants to risk getting
disqualified. This is fate!”
Kelsai
grimaces as Sutter then grabs her and pulls her up before he scoops her up and
hits a sidewalk. He pulls back on the legs.
1!
2!
Adamson
kicks out again. She shows some fire, pumping her fists before starting to get
up. Sutter clubs her again and then drags her over to the Braddock/Sutter
corner and tags in Braddock. Sutter then hits another sidewalk slam and rolls
to the floor as Braddock hits a slingshot splash. She goes for the pin.
1!
2!
Kelsai kicks
out again. She rolls over and Melinda grabs her and starts to pull her up
before locking in a cobra clutch. The crowd boos as Melinda pulls back. Kelsai falls to a knee.
Sharper:
“And Melinda Braddock now trying to choke the life out of Kelsai
Adamson. Sutter giving her that opportunity.”
Knots:
“And Kelsai is fading fast.”
Chance
paces on the apron as Kelsai starts to drop forward
as Melinda keeps leaning over her. She swings her a bit as Demitra checks on
her. Owens then enters and runs across. The crowd roars as Demitra then runs
over and stops him. Owens tries to point to her, trying to get past to help,
but Sutter steps in and kicks Kelsai in the ribs. He
exits as the crowd boos. Melinda smirks as she goes back to the cobra clutch.
Demitra heads back as Owens then runs around the ring. The crowd roars. Sutter
turns as Owens jumps onto the apron and then runs at him and tackles him down.
The crowd erupts. Owens nails him with a couple of shots before Demitra exits
to the floor and as Owens gets up. He starts to push him back. Owens is backed
up as Melinda then suddenly runs over and hits a baseball slide. Owens falls
over. The crowd ohs. Melinda smirks as she slowly gets up.
Sharper:
“Braddock with the assist. Owens finally had it…”
Knots:
“And this is just going to be-“
Melinda
then walks back, but Kelsai spins her around and kicks
her before grabbing her head, and running up the
corner and hitting a tornado DDT! Kelsai looks up and
turns and then starts to crawl to her corner, but Owens is down.
Sharper:
“Tornado DDT!”
Knots:
“Yeah, but look! Chance is on the other side. If he
was still in the corner, he could tag in.”
Sharper:
“But the distraction gave Kelsai the opening…but no
one now to tag too!”
Kelsai
reaches out and moves forward again and looks up. Owens starts to move around
the ring, but just then, Sutter tags in, Braddock reaching him. Sutter enters
and runs over and grabs Kelsai by the legs. He then
drags her back and hoists her up and hits a huge sitout
powerbomb.
1!
2!
Kelsai shoots
her shoulder up. Sutter rolls back. He then looks around and shakes his head as
she then rolls over. She keeps fighting as Owens starts to move to the corner.
Sutter then looks at him and snaps at him. He turns back and clubs Kelsai in the back. She goes down and Sutter drags her up
and clubs her again. She drops down and Sutter slowly drags her up. He then
then turns and whips her into the ropes. He falls back into the ropes behind
him and goes for the clothesline from hell. Kelsai
somersaults under though and then jumps and tags in Owens!
Sharper:
“And Owens tagged in! Here we go!”
Knots:
“Oh God! He got the tag!”
Owens
enters and runs over and nails Sutter with a hard right. Melinda Braddock enters and Owens kicks her in the ribs before turning and
nailing Sutter with another hard right. He turns back and hits a boot to the
head of Braddock, knocking her back. He turns back and Sutter goes for a
clothesline, but Owens ducks and then grabs him and hits the Checkstop. Sutter falls back into the ropes. Owens gets
back up and Melinda runs at him and nails him with a forearm and then another
and another. She then grabs him and goes to whip him across. Owens runs into
the ropes, bouncing off and drilling Melinda with a clothesline of his own.
Sutter then runs out and Owen ducks a clothesline and then hoists him up and
hits an inverted atomic drop. Sutter staggers back to the ropes. Kelsai then jumps up and hits an enziguri
pump kick on the apron. He staggers forward and Owens scoops him up and hits
the Brake Check!
Sharper:
“Owens managing to get Sutter up and with the assist from Kelsai
Adamson! The cover!”
1!
2!
Braddock
breaks it up. Owens rolls over and then starts to get up and Braddock nails him
with a couple of hard forearm shots before Owens suddenly hits a Checkstop on her. She falls back, holding her jaw. Owens
then turns and goes to Sutter who is getting up in the corner. Suddenly, the
crowd erupts as Kelsai dives off the top rope and
hits the Bombs Away on Braddock. The crowd roars.
Sharper:
“And Adamson hits the Bombs Away on Braddock!”
Knots:
“Hey! Neither are legal! What the hell?! Demitra!”
Sharper:
“Kelsai now yelling at Braddock!”
Owens
nails Sutter with a couple of hard rights, but then goes to whip him across,
but Sutter spins through and pulls Owens into the Assassination! Sutter then
gets up as Kelsai turns and sees him and runs over
and nails him with a series of hard right hands. Kelsai
then jumps up and hits a dropkick. Sutter staggers to the ropes. He bounces and
hits a vicious clothesline from hell. Kelsai rolls
over as the crowd ohs. Owens looks over and gets up and dives towards Kelsai. He ends up on top of her and Sutter smirks before
stomping on him over and over and over again. Owens
keeps covering up on Kelsai before Sutter clubs him
again and then forces him up before hoisting him up and hitting a powerbomb on
Owens into Kelsai. He hoists him up again and hits a
second powerbomb, this one to the mat. He then hoists him up and completes the
Judge, Jury & Executioner. He turns and hooks the leg.
1!
2!
3!
The
crowd boos as Sutter rolls off and smirks. The bell sounds.
Phillips:
“Here is your winner, via pinfall, Melinda Braddock and Clyde Sutter!”
Sharper:
“Judge, Jury & Executioner!”
Knots: “Fate
reared its head and its chosen executioner’s stand tall!”
Sutter
heads over to Melinda Braddock, helping her up. Sutter smiles as Braddock
smirks. She leans into him as the official raises their arms. The crowd boos. Owens
is down as Kelsai crawls over to Owens to check on
him, holding her ribs.
Sharper:
“Sutter overpowering Owens at the end. Adamson and Owens just did not have enough.
Not tonight.”
Knots: “Maybe
Sutter was right!”
Sutter
and Braddock continue to celebrate as the scene slowly cuts to
commercial.
COMMERCIALS
The
Rise to Greatness Pre-Show returns as cameras pan across the crowd inside the
Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.
Sharper:
“Welcome back to Houston. Rise to Greatness weekend is here. We have had a heck
of a night tonight.”
Knots: “Glimmer
Sisters, Chris Lawler, and Melinda Braddock & Clyde Sutter have to be
loving the night.”
Sharper:
“And tomorrow, we will continue with the biggest night of the year. Rise to
Greatness XXII will be live from NRG Stadium and it will be capped off by one
of the most consequential and star-studded Rise to Greatness main events in SCW
history.”
“Greed”
by Royale Lynn plays as the Rise to Greatness logo comes up on the screen. We
then see a shot of Xander Valentine, then Cid Turner, then Selena Frost, and finally
Giovanni Aries before showing all of them.
Knots: “Ladder
match. World Title. Aries defends against Valentine, Turner, and Frost!”
Sharper:
“Hall of famers across the board and beyond all four wanting to walk out the
winner for their own reasons, Aries has played puppetmaster
since winning the title and tomorrow could be his magnum opus! Good night from
Houston tonight. We’ll see you tomorrow evening!”
The
Rise to Greatness logo comes up on the screen.
The scene opens up with a shot of the Caesars Superdome as we see fans
cheering at Taking Hold of the Flame. We then cut to the Thunderdome match to
see shots of Xander Valentine heading to the ring as we see James Evans, Waylon
Creek, and Giovanni Aries inside. We then cut to the final moments of the
match. Xander
looks down at James Evans and drags him up. Xander then looks around before
then turning and whipping James into the corner. James hits chest first and
Xander hoists him up onto his shoulders. The crowd erupts as Xander then turns
and drops him with the Valhalla has Fallen.
Sharper: “Valhalla has Fallen! Have the Fall of
Man?! Has James Evans’s World Title reign?”
Knots: “No!”
Giovanni Aries starts to get up as Xander gets up
and turns, but Waylon Creek runs at him and blasts him with a spear. In the
process, Xander’s arm catches Giovanni stiffly in the face. Giovanni falls
back. Waylon rolls off of Xander, but we then hear and
see Demitra counting.

The camera turns to show Giovanni Aries has landed
on James Evans’ body. The crowd looks on stunned as the bell sounds.
Sharper: “Oh my God…”
Phillips: “Fans, here is your winner, via pinfall,
and NEW SCW World Champion…Giovanni Aries!”
Sharper: “And now Xander, Waylon, and James have to reset. They’re in the Taking Hold of the Flame.
Xander says it’s for the roster to finish the job, but it now is also so Xander
can get his chance to finish this job!”
Knots: “Giovanni Aries is World Champion?!”
We see Giovanni Aries looking at the World
Championship before we cut to later in the night, the end of the Taking Hold of
the Flame battle royal. Cid rolls over and slowly starts to get up. The crowd
looks on as Xander Valentine pulls himself up and then sees Cid getting up.
Xander runs over and shoulders him. Cid falls forward to the corner and
stumbles back. Xander hoists him up for the Valhalla Has Fallen. The crowd
roars, but Cid manages to backflip through. He falls back into the corner.
Xander then runs at him, but Cid moves out of the way again and Xander goes
chest first. Cid then turns and runs into the ropes. He bounces off and jumps
up, but Xander catches Cid on his shoulders for a powerbomb. Cid shakes his
head and Xander falls back but they both go over the top rope and both then
drop down, landing in a thud on the floor! The crowd erupts as the bell sounds.
We then cut to a slow motion shot showing both landing at the same time. We then see Cid and Xander
both in the ring as CHBK is out, talking to officials.
CHBK: “Fans, you have seen history tonight!”
The crowd roars.
CHBK: “Allow me to congratulation, the winner of
the 2025 Taking Hold of the Flame and going to Rise to Greatness XXII to
challenge Giovanni Aries for the SCW World Championship…”
CHBK pauses a moment. Xander just glares at CHBK.
CHBK: “Xander Valentine!”
Cid looks down as Xander throws his arms up.
CHBK: “…And Cid Turner!”
The crowd roars as Cid looks up, stunned.
Hollinsworth raises his arm as Xander turns to CHBK. CHBK then backs up and
applauds both.
Sharper: “Xander and Cid! Dual winners…this has
never happened before!”
Knots: “What…there should be one. Make them fight!”
Sharper: “Giovanni Aries as World Champion…and now
two winners…and the road to Rise to Greatness XXII has just had two major
twists!”
We then cut to the next Breakdown where Giovanni
Aries is in the ring with William Heaven.
Heaven: “Xander Valentine!”
We see a shot of Xander in
the back.
Heaven: “You do have one
more attempt to try and make good on your increasingly laughable threats…you
have Rise to Greatness. Where you
will challenge for the SCW World Championship and-“
Giovanni Aries steps up as
James Evans watches the scene play out in front of him. Giovanni Aries places
his hand on Heaven’s microphone. He says something to him. Heaven just nods and
allows Giovanni Aries to take the microphone. He then looks out at the crowd as
they boo him.
Aries: “Yes, they will
challenge for the SCW World Championship…they need to challenge for it. Even
SCW is now ripping the veneer of competition from this when it is really that
they need their precious main event for Rise to Greatness and it would only be
great if there was the shiny trinket waved about in front of them!”
Aries looks at the crowd.
Aries: “I may be
accidentally the World Champion, but I will not take this opportunity and
squander it. William…you brought me in because you needed someone who knew how
to take it right to SCW and right to its heart. Waylon had his attempt…James
had his…Now it is mine.”
Aries smiles
as Evans and Creek look at Aries as Heaven nods. We see Cid Turner watching
backstage in a monitor.
Aries: “But this is all just leading to the end….DEATH TO THE LIZARD KINGDOM!”
Aries laughs.
BELIEVE IT... OR NOT!
"Thank You for Hating Me!" by Citizen Soldier plays throughout
the arena, the SCW Universe deafening the song with their boos.
Sharper: “And wait a minute!”
Knots: “Her contract!”
Sharper: “She has it in her hand. Don’t tell me
she’s going to use it at Rise to Greatness!”
Selena Frost looks down at the ring. Giovanni Aries
turns, rolling his eyes. Heaven steps forward.
Selena: “Sorry to break up your speech, but it’s
time to remember who really is running things around here. I don’t care about
your stupid crusade. I care about what matters in MY world. And it’s time for
me to get the World Championship back. You want to hide it…then I’ll save it.
And to beat Cid and Xander too…That’s an opportunity I can’t let slip away.
BELIEVE IT!”
“Greed” by Royale Lynn then
starts to play in the background. We then see shots from the following
Breakdown as we see Xander defeating Simon Lyman. But then we see Selena Frost
entering the ring and kicking him in the groin.
I can see behind your eyes
A sickness has consumed you
And you’re never satisfied
There’s nothing that you won’t do
We see Cid Turner running down from the back. He
slides into the ring. He then goes over to grab Selena, but Selena ducks a
clothesline. Cid runs into Xander and Xander falls through the ropes to the
floor. He staggers over to the announce table. Cid then turns and Selena goes
for another Glass Shard, but Cid blocks it too. She then jumps up and hits an enziguri. Cid falls back and through the ropes to the
apron.
Sharper: “Again, Selena tried for the Glass Shard!”
Knight: “Cid and Xander both know her very well!
They all know each other well!”
Cid pulls himself up and Selena runs at him and
nails him with a running forearm. Cid flies back and into Xander. Xander
catches him. The crowd roars. Cid looks back and then Xander muscles him up
onto his shoulders, but Cid hammers away on Xander. He then ends up on the
table where he wrenches Xander’s head and drives him into the top of the table
with the Sovereign Takeover. The impact causes the table to implode. Xander
rolls to his side. Selena looks on and smirks as Cid Turner grimace in pain,
grabbing at his back.

We then see Cid Turner standing across from Xander
Valentine in the ring.
Cid: “You’ve got Giovanni Aries who is trying to
blot the World Title from existence and watching us all dance and take each
other out and you have the Wicked Witch of the North thinking this is easy.
While you and I are risking everything to be here. I’m back here not because I
was bored – I’m here because I sadly know there’s only one thing that drives me
day in and day out and that’s to compete and to compete for that World Title!”
The crowd roars as Xander just looks down at Cid.
Xander brings the microphone up.
Xander: “Nice speech. Too bad I don’t give a damn.
Too bad you’re just another person in my way. Too bad you’re going to be
another casualty. Already one is gone – James…he finally snapped. Two left. And
I plan to take out the second at Rise to Greatness. Where does Selena stand in
it…nothing more than another obstacle that has put itself in my way to my goal.
Just like you are. Just like Light in the Darkness was. Just like the Dangerous
Minds. Just like everyone else. I don’t need help, Cid. In fact, it’s better
you get out of my way. I had Selena handled last week. You’re the one who
complicated things.”
The cycle is repeating
At the bottom you keep feeding
Cannibal you gotta taste for the blood
Don’t think you got a
Motive I dont notice
Might not say it but you show it
Found you out and now there’s nowhere to run
We then cut later to show Selena Frost fighting Asher
Hayes before we see the official knocked down and then showing Cid Turner running
to the ring as Jordan Majors exits the ringside area. We then sees Cid fighting Selena. She hits the ropes and then stops
at the ropes. Cid runs at her and clotheslines her up and over to the apron.
Selena slowly gets up as the crowd roars again. Cid steps through to the apron
and grabs Selena, but Selena suddenly low blows Cid. The crowd ohs as Cid drops
down to his knees and rolls to the floor. Selena then enters
into the ring, but we see Xander Valentine sliding in. The crowd erupts
as Selena backs up and into Xander who hoists her up and hits the Valhalla Has
Fallen! We then see Hayes pinning Frost.
Sharper: “The undefeated run…it’s over!”
Knots: “That wasn’t fair! It wasn’t fair!”
Sharper: “But it may have been justice!”
The dots are connected
Showed your infected
I know you’re intentions
We then hear the music pause as we see Giovanni
Aries in the ring, smiling.
Aries: “I only have to
look at the last few weeks and laugh. Selena Frost cashes in her rematch.
Xander and Cid both being given this opportunity. All so CHBK and SCW can have
their precious main event. And while they all are at each other’s throats, they
have missed the change unfolding. Cid Turner can point out how disappointed he
is. Xander Valentine can make threats. Selena Frost can annoy us all. And
yet…the sniper shots from all three are fired at each other. And I stand
unscathed…”
We then see the World Title lowered from the
ceiling.
Aries: “This is what all of you dream of. The
moment, the memory, not the fight…but this!”
We see Aries hold the World Title.
Aries: “That moment when the dream becomes
reality…never mind that it already was. You need the ten pounds of gold…Well,
what are you willing to put on the line for it? Hmmm?”
As Aries talks we see
shots of the contract signing the following week.
Aries: “Cid Turner, spinal stenosis…one fall and
it’s over. Are you willing to see your family cry over your pathetic body as
you can’t even hug your daughter again?”
Cid Turner is shown signing the contract without hesitation.
Aries: “Are you willing, Xander, to risk a lifetime
of suffering, maybe not even remembering the moment, all so you can hold it
again and wipe out Fall of Man…”
Xander Valentine is shown signing the contract
without hesitation.
Aries: “And Selena…if you’re so good, are you
willing to prove it, by removing the one thing you hold over your head – you hadn’t
been pinned since Rise to Greatness. We’ll put last week aside for your ego…for
the random chance that one wrong move…and it doesn’t matter how talented you
are….to hold this…”
Selena is shown hesitating, before we see her
signing it.
Aries: “If CHBK can engineer his own main
event…well, I’m going to engineer my own. You can make a new belt, but the
world will know. So…let’s remove the bullshit. We’ll kill each other for this
title. But will it be worth it? Let’s find out. Either we raise this title over
the ring and we fight to see who can bring it down….or I will make sure the original World Championship is
never seen again. How’s that SCW…”
Shots of CHBK, Steve Griffin, Jason Zero, Jay Gold,
Baron Scythe, Shilo Valiant, Damian Angel, Syren, Shawn Winters, Josh Hudson,
Shaun Cruze, Kelcey Wallace, Regan Street, Selena Frost, Xander Valentine and
Cid Turner all holding the World Title are shown. The music plays again.

Shots of Xander hitting the Valhalla has Fallen on
Selena Frost is shown before we see Xander fighting Cid Turner at Rise to Greatness.
Shots of Selena Frost low blowing Xander, before showing Cid Turner hitting the
Sovereign Takeover on Selena Frost before showing him again hitting the same move
on Xander on the table on the floor. We then cut to see Selena striking Xander
with the Glass Shard before showing Giovanni Aries locking in the Embrace of
the Reptilian Genocide on Cid Turner. This cuts to more shots of fighting as
Xander chokeslams Selena Frost, before we see Cid Turner hitting Xander with a
Denver Diving Kick. This is followed by a shot of Aries being handed a chair
and we see Aries nailing Cid in the back with the steel chair. This is followed
by Aries lifting the chair up again before Selena hits him with the Glass Shard.
We see Selena looking at them, before showing shots of Selena, Xander and Cid
holding the World Title at different points of their career and then showing
Aries holding the title over his head while on a ladder.
