“???” plays as the A Taste of Things to Come logo comes up on the screen.

“Supreme Championship Wrestling presents…A Taste of Things to Come!”

The logo remains on the screen for a few moments before we cut to a live shot inside Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona. The crowd roars as pyro shoots from the stage and high into the air. The pyro display continues for several moments longer before spotlights circle around the arena. Cameras pan across the crowd showcasing the many fans cheering for SCW action.

Sharper: “Welcome to Phoenix, Arizona as SCW comes to you live for A Taste of Things to Come!”

The cameras continue to pan across the ring before we cut to the announce position where Adam Sharper sits, shockingly, alone.

Sharper: “Welcome to ringside here. I’m Adam Sharper and for now, I’m not sure why I’m here alone. I know Devon Kayl made the trip to Phoenix, but he’s not out here and-“

Just then, the intro music cuts out into “Speak My Mind” by Adelitas Way. The crowd looks on as we then see Jonathan Knots walk out from the back. The crowd roars seeing him as he looks around.

Sharper: “Well I’ll be damned…”

Knots extends his arms and talks to the crowd as some cheer, some boo, some just make noise as Knots walk down to the ring.

Sharper: “Looks like the Silver Tongued Devil is back…”

After a few moments Knots makes his way to the ringside area. He walks around the ring, ignoring fans that are extending their hands for high-fives and walks over to the announce table. He then walks over, extending his arms. Adam Sharper stands up, but Knots then brings his arms in and pulls his chair out. He then sits down. He takes a moment, placing his notes on the desk, before then putting on the headset.

Sharper: “Jon…didn’t know you’d be joining us.”

Knots: “Well I figured it was about time. We had a subpar listening experience at home and well, sometimes you need someone to be honest here. So here I am to carry your ass.”

Sharper: “Well great to have you back.”

Knots: “Yeah, yeah…could’ve called me to make sure I was okay?”

Sharper: “I did.”

Knots: “I never gave you my number!”

Sharper: “Well, anyways, tonight, a huge night. World Championship on the line. Cid Turner to defend against Syren.”

Knots: “We’re going to see how good Syren is. Is she back? Won’t have her buddies to help!”

Sharper: “We’ll also see the World Tag Team Championship on the line. Xander Valentine and Selena Frost to teach to challenge the Glimmer Sisters. And of course, the Shot of Adrenaline Tournament ending tonight.”

Knots: “Let’s hope that ends as it should!”

Polly Pingotti vs. Deanna Frost

SCW Adrenaline Championship

Shot of Adrenaline Semi-finals

Phillips: “The opening contest tonight at A Taste of Things to Come is a semi-finals match in the Shot of Adrenaline Tournament, scheduled for onefall with a thirty minute time limit and is for the SCW Adrenaline Championship!”

The SCW Adrenaline Championship logo comes across the screen, followed by the Shot of Adrenaline tournament logo. The arena lights shut off completely.  The crowd murmurs until Polly's voice can be heard saying:

"You want me to cut the crap?  My answer is that you need to cut yours."

The arena stays completely dark until up on the big screen Polly's infamous glowing angry green eyes make an appearance.  Most of the screen stays black, but her name fades in, in light purple "Polly Playtime".

An indistinct man's voice then says "Player Number One.  Game Over."

A coin can be heard dropping into a coin slot and a pulsating beat begins to play as light purple strobe lights light up on both sides of the stage. "Too Much" by Dove Cameron begins as Dove immediately begins to sing the chorus, a figure emerges from the back and saunters to the center of the stage between the strobe lights. The overhead arena lights return and we can see that the figure is dressed in a long black robe that covers all of her, including her head.  The hood drops back to reveal Polly not smiling or showing any hint of caring what others think of her.  She allows the vocals to continue until Dove hits the chorus for a second time.  The light purple strobe rights turn to point directly to the ring as Polly lets go of the robe that is cloaking her, revealing that she is wearing her black knee-high skirt, but also a very small strapless light purple top that hugs her mostly revealed upper body perfectly.  She then picks up the item that she had used to tie her black robe around her, that item being a small whip.

Phillips: “First, the challenger, from Panguitch, Utah, she is Polly Playtime!”

Wasting no more time, she walks with purpose down to the ring as her entrance music continues.  A lot of the crowd near ringside is gawking at her while some are booing.  Polly just ignores every single last one of them as once at ringside, she feels the mat with both of her hands and rubs them a bit before sneering and walking over to the nearest set of steel ring steps.  She walks up them and steps into the ring. Once in the ring she runs the end of the whip around the canvas for a short bit before she chooses a corner of the ring and leans up against the ropes.  As her music subsides, Polly can be heard saying "I'm too much for you to handle.  Too much for ALL of you!  Always have been, always will be.  It's time you all see it."

The boos pick up.  Polly is acting as if they don't exist as she has all of the whip in her hands now once again.  She stays in her corner and waits for the bell to ring, fingering her whip, not even looking towards her opponent.

Sharper: “Polly Playtime…Playtime back, not Pingotti anymore. And we know she’s developed some relationship with the CEO of SCW. Frank Delatosso telling her she has what she wants. And this includes that she gamed things to ensure she would get this shot.”

Knots: “Didn’t game anything. Just was smart. Why bother exerting yourself. She trusted Deanna Frost would be motivated to run the table. And figured Kim would be upset. Here we are. Polly gets the Adrenaline shot and she can make her night here tonight. I love it!”

The chords of "People Like Us" by Kelly Clarkson fill the arena, causing a roar from the audience as bright, fall leaves seem to blow and fly on the LED screens on and around the ramp. From the back curtain, out runs Deanna Frost, wearing the SCW Adrenaline Championship, taking in the audience before running to the right side, then the left side, shouting to them in excitement. The 'leaves' follow her as she does. Returning to the middle, Deanna gives a spin on one foot, her arms outstretched, the 'leaves' circling her below her feet.

Phillips: “Her opponent, from Manhattan, New York, the SCW Adrenaline Champion, she is Deanna Frost!”

Hearing her name, Deanna stops her spin, side facing the ring, and, with one hand over her heart, her free hand arcs around to point forward, the 'leaves' flying down the ramp and 'circling the ring LED barriers. Making her way down to the ring, Deanna high-fives fans along the way until she reaches the ring. Sliding under the ring, the redhead jumps to her feet, making her way to the middle ropes and leaning over them, one arm raised to the crowd. She does the same to the other sides of the ring. On the last time, Deanna hops back into the ring as the lights return to normal. She then walks over to the official, Aaron Demitra, and hands him the SCW Adrenaline Championship. Demitra takes the title and holds it over his head. He then hands it off as Deanna stretches. Polly looks across.

Sharper: “Deanna Frost, the SCW Adrenaline Champion. Won the title at Shattered Reality. And then ran the table in the round robin. But her biggest two matches are tonight. Can she run the entire tournament.”

Knots: “You see who is across the ring from her? Trust me…Polly Playtime is going to make sure that’s not easy. Deanna talks about how this tournament will establish her. Same for Polly!”

The bell sounds. Polly runs across the ring and nails Deanna with a forearm shot. Deanna staggers back to the corner, stunned by Polly’s aggressiveness. Polly then nails Deanna with a hard right and then another and another and another.

Polly turns and snaps at Demitra before turning back. She grabs Deanna and spins her around and goes to throw her to the apron. Deanna falls to a knee, holding on. Polly then grabs her, but Deanna blocks it and forearms her in the jaw. She nails her again and then grabs her and runs her over to the turnbuckle pad. Polly staggers back. Deanna then watches her and grabs the top rope, flipping over the top rope and landing on Polly’s shoulders before snapping her off with a frankensteiner!

Sharper: “And Deanna quickly coming back. Polly right on top of the champion, but that grit, quickly showing from the champion.”

Knots: “Yeah, yeah. Good little volley. Deanna got a little crafty. Still very early.”

Polly stirs and gets up and turns and Deanna nails her with a hard forearms shot to the jaw. Polly falls to the corner. Deanna kicks her in the ribs and then whips her across the ring. Polly hits the opposite corner and then runs out and Deanna launches her with a back drop. Polly lands hard and rolls over, holding her lower back. Deanna runs over and clotheslines her over. She turns and goes for the lateral press.

Sharper: “And Deanna just sending Polly to the floor.”

Knots: “Come on! Get her back!”

Sharper: “Welcome back to the Adrenaline Division, Jon.”

Polly starts o get up and Deanna looks around, playing to the crowd a bit. She runs across the ring. She bounces off and runs at the ropes, but Polly jumps up and drills her with a forearm to the face as she goes for the suicide dive. Deanna steps back and falls back forward into the ropes. Polly grabs her and pulls her out, leading her head to stick out through the ropes. Polly then jumps to the middle rope and jumps up, hitting a leg drop to the back of Deanna’s head. Deanna falls through the ropes and onto the apron.

Sharper: “Playtime with that leg drop to the back of Deanna’s head.”

Knots: “Just like so many flights with the snowstorm, flights were grounded. This time, we can blame Polly Playtime!”

Polly then looks at Deanna and pulls her up on the apron. She then looks around and hits a snap suplex on the apron. Deanna falls off and lands on the floor. The crowd ohs. Deanna turns, holding her lower back. She slowly starts to get up and Polly gets up and smiles. Deanna pulls herself up and Polly runs to the ropes, jumps to the middle turnbuckle and twists back with a corkscrew somersault dive onto Deanna on the floor!

Knots: “That’s the Adrenaline division right there. Springboard! Somersault! Twisting. Right onto a Frost!”

Sharper: “Polly Playtime, you saw the smirk before she did it. She was sure of it and hit it right on.”

Polly gets up and looks around. She then glares at the crowd as they boo her. She ignores them, grabbing Deanna and pulling her up and rolling her into the ring. Polly slides in after and crawls over to Deanna and hooks the leg.

Sharper: “Snap German. Exactly what the doctor ordered!”

Knots: “Screw him! The doctor shouldn’t be involved in this!”

Polly rolls over, holding her head and neck, wincing in pain. She gets up and Deanna grabs her from behind and hits a high angle back suplex into a bridge.

Sharper: “Off the top! Deanna driving her knee into the jaw of the challenger.”

Knots: “Come on Polly. This is your moment.”

Sharper: “You are just firmly behind her. What the hell happened while you were off?”

Knots: “Don’t worry about it. Though if you’re looking to make some good money, I have a pool that needs cleaning!”

Deanna doesn’t go for the pin, instead running into the ropes, bouncing off and hitting a running knee drop. She turns and hooks the leg.

Sharper: “And the facebuster out of the powerbomb. Polly got some momentum to slide out.”

Knots: “A rude awakening for Deanna. That hope for you may be looking like your downfall!”

Polly then gets up as Deanna rolls over to the ropes. She starts to get up and Polly jumps up and hits a dropkick to the jaw. Deanna goes up and over to the top to the floor. Deanna rolls over. Polly then sees her and runs across the ring, bouncing off and then diving through the ropes with a flip dive onto Deanna’s prone body. The crowd ohs as Deanna rolls over, holding her stomach in pain and Polly rolls through, ending up against the barricade.

Sharper: “Polly Playtime through the ropes with a flip dive into a senton!”

Knots: “That’s how bad she wants this!”

Polly Playtime winces as Demitra drops to the floor to check on both. Playtime looks at Deanna as Deanna turns, rolling over, waving Demitra off. Polly then grabs Demitra and grabs her and pushes her face first into the ringpost. Deanna falls over, the crowd boos. Polly then looks around and heads over to Deanna. She pulls her up. Deanna looks up, dazed, before Polly rolls her into the ring. Polly climbs onto the apron. She then climbs up to the top rope. Deanna rolls over and starts to get up. Deanna kicks out. Polly rolls over and grabs Deanna, pulling her up and placing her head between her legs, but Deanna drops down and then hits an uppercut to the jaw of Polly.

Sharper: “Countering the Polly Pop as Polly Playtime showing a decisiveness we’ve not seen from her in a long time.”

Knots: “Like she knows she’s got the advantage on her side. Amazing what some confidence will do!”

Deanna then hits a jawbreaker. Polly staggers back and Deanna gets up and runs at her and drives her shoulder into the ribs of Polly, sending her back into the corner. Knots: “Deanna’s showing desperation. That’s all it is!”

Sharper: “Showed some calm there. Polly rushed to her and she showed that calmness you need to be a champion-“

Knots: “You’re too in it! Desperation, Sharper!”

Deanna reaches out as Polly wraps her legs around her body. She pulls back and Deanna falls to a knee. The crowd looks on as Demitra checks on Deanna. Polly keeps pulling back as Deanna reaches out. Knots: “How about that?!”

Sharper: “Polly turning in the tilt-a-whirl and got the curb stomp somehow!”

Sharper: “Frost takes it! The Okana roll got Polly!”

Kayl: “Too much momentum and- Hey!”

Deanna gets up and Polly gets up and spins Deanna around before kicking her in the ribs and hitting the Polly Pop. The crowd boos. Polly Playtime looks down at Deanna. She then gets up and looks down at her.

Polly: “Just luck! We’re not done, Deanna!”

The crowd boos as Polly steps back and looks around. She then turns and leans back through the ropes, flipping back to the floor onto her feet. She looks in the ring as the crowd boos before Polly storms to the back.

Sharper: “Polly Pingotti…sorry, Playtime, dropping Deanna Frost.”

Knots: “She’s finally getting that confidence. She knows she should have won. And she’s not going to be just accepting things. That’s for sure.”

Polly Playtime heads to the back as Deanna is helped up by the official and we cut backstage.

Destiny Page is shown with Kimberly Williams backstage in the SCW interview area.

Page: “Kim…it’s been a wild start to the year for you and now you’ve learned that you have a target on your back with regards to the CEO of this company criticizing your wrestling, your focus and…well-“

Kim: “Oh Franklin Delatosso Roosevelt…unlike you, no New Deal is going help. Because while I have been critical of this tournament, you don’t need a motivated Kimmy around! That’s not good. It’s like giving a loaded gun to an asylum patient and I’d know! But to get through Dorkster and Dee Dee, well…if I need to win the Adrenaline Title, and the tournament, to make your eat some crow. So be it. Crow is good. It’s got lots of vitamins. Just have to make sure you source it well!”

Page looks a bit confused.

Kim: “But I’m not going anywhere and I will get the Adrenaline Title, just to spit you FDR…and then I will get my shot at the Underground title and-“

Page: “About that…there are some rumours there.”

Kim: “What are you talking about?”

Page: “ENIGMA has left SCW.”

Kim stops. She then turns, thinking a moment.

Kim: “Huh…”

Kim turns and walks off.

Page: “Kim?”

Kim continues to walk off.

Page: “Back to the ring.”

We cut back to ringside.

Knots: “Shame. Lots of opportunity there. But then again, with the Underground Championship…sometimes you realize you deserve better. Or maybe he couldn’t hack it-“

Sharper: “The man nearly became World Champion three weeks ago, Jon. He didn’t leave because he couldn’t hack it. Something smells here.”

Knots: “You sure it’s not you?”

Sharper: “There’s a lot that smells around here now. You’re quick to make accusations.”

Knots: “What? I’m an analyst! I’m analyzing!”

Kimberly Williams vs. Dexter Grant

Shot of Adrenaline Semi-finals

“TokSik” by Starset hits as the lights in the arena immediately go out, a series of green spotlights converging onto the stage where fog has begun to consume it. The big screen show's a human eye opening, and reflecting in it is a montage of people glued to their phones and computers, either consuming or producing social media garbage as they all look sickly while doing so. “The Digital Detoxer” Dexter Grant marches out through the fog, stopping at the edge of the stage and staring out at the fans with disgust. A few cheers can be heard, but they're easily drowned out by all the boos raining down upon him. He turns his head to his right just in time to see his faithful flunky Wendell march out behind him, proudly holding up a protest sign that has the circle-backslash symbol with a wi-fi symbol behind the backslash and the words “DISCONNECT TO RECONNECT” written within the circle.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall with a thirty minute time limit and is a semi-finals match in the Shot of Adrenaline tournament. First, on his way to the ring, accompanied by Wendell, from Off the Grid, he is the Digital Detoxer, Dexter Grant!”

Wendell eagerly looks up at Dexter, who smiles and nods in approval before he starts storming down to the ring, his disgusted look returning at the sound of all the people around him who just refuse to listen to his message. He jumps up onto the apron and aggressively steps through the ropes, marching to the center of the ring and turning his back to the hard cam as he points his thumb to the same “DISCONNECT TO RECONNECT” logo of his on the back of his vest. Wendell crawls into the ring and stands beside Dexter, proudly holding up his sign before looking legitimately confused as to why they're being booed. The lights return to normal as Dexter starts to pace around the ring.

Sharper: “Dexter Grant and Kimberly Williams…the way sometimes this works, the rubber match here. Kim won at Rise to Greatness; Grant at Apocalypse.”

Knots: “But Grant lost the Adrenaline Championship at a Taste of Things to Come. He wants people to take his crusade seriously. Beat Kim.”

Sharper: “So you’re willing to disconnect to reconnect? Think SCW should too?”

Knots: “It’s America. First Amendment and all.”

Sharper: “What a nice evasive answer given what you’ve said about him before!”

Grant takes the microphone from Phillips as the crowd boos him. He continues to pace.

Grant: “SCW has everything it wants…the end of the Shot of Adrenaline. Controversy around Kimberly Williams. A rubber match. What pablum will be put on social media to make you dimwits salivate from the mouth when this is all marketing ga-ga. To just come here and watch what should have been an event of competition. Just like having Destiny Page have to lower herself to get Kim to say something memeworthy when we know she deserves better…”

Grant subtly looks at Wendell.

Grant: “Maybe they’ll get Jackson Mikhailson to put one of his cat in a blender quality songs in the background just so fans can lap it up for the “subtle messaging, when-“

The lights go out, except for a single spotlight at the top of the stage. The opening chords to “Patient Number 9” by Ozzy Osbourne begins to play.  A haunting voice is heard…

"Is there a way out of here?"
"Hey, how long you been here?"
"I wanna go home"
"Hey, hahaha"
"Hahaha"
"Excuse me, could you tell how to get out of here?"
"Hahaha"
"I want to go home"
"Hahaha"
"Mommy, mommy"

The song begins to rage full bore now. Suddenly the lights come back on and Kimberly Williams is standing at the top of the stage to a loud, mostly positive, reaction from the fans.  A sinister smirk is on her face as she ponders what she is about to do tonight.

Phillips: “His opponent, from Boston, Massachusetts, she is the Wild Card, Kimberly Williams!”

She winks at the fans before pointing towards the ring and making a beeline towards it.  She slides into the ring underneath the bottom rope.  Kimberly then poses in the center of the ring to another loud reaction from the fans. The music slowly dies down and Kimberly goes to a corner to await the start of the match.

Knots: “Boooo! BOOOOO! The Disgrace to Professional Wrestling!”

Sharper: “Really, Jon! Just going to echo what we’re hearing from the CEO.”

Knots: “If the shoe fits! She wrestles a garbage style. The Jones family used to be about skill. Instead, Kim craps on that every day she wants to be in the Underground. All because she’s a violent criminal that probably never was reformed!”

Kimberly looks at Dexter as Dexter shakes his head. The bell sounds as Jennifer Cassidy stands in the ring as the official. Grant and Williams step out and move forward. The two lunge at one another and lock up, but immediately, Williams drops down into a drop toe hold. She then spins around and into a side headlock. She pulls back as Grant reaches around and starts to get his feet under him. They get up to their feet and Grant pulls Kim into the ropes. He fires her off. Kim bounces off and Grant steps up, but Kim somersaults under. She then gets to her feet and Grant turns around as Kim hits a single leg takedown and then rolls through and to the arm. Grant turns, but Kim spins across his back and then grabs his arm.

Sharper: “Kim going for the arm and Grant hasn’t gotten out of the blocks yet!”

Knots: “Just trying too hard is Kim!”

Sharper: “Kim is an accomplished grappler, Jon. You know it. I know it. Stop with this.”

Kim holds on as Grant starts to get up. He flips forward and goes to push off with his feet, but Kim just lets go and steps back. Grant looks around and scrambles up to his feet and runs at Kim. Kim, however, sidesteps and sends him through the ropes to the floor. Grant rolls over. He looks around and Kim then runs to the ropes, grabs the top rope and hits a corkscrew vaulting press o9nto Grant to the floor. The crowd roars.

Sharper: “And Williams! Over the top! Corkscrew press to the floor!”

Knots: “Yeah, yeah….”

Grant winces as Wendell looks on. Kim grabs Grant and nails him with a hard right and then another. She then turns and whips Grant into the steel steps. The top half topples over and Grant falls over.

Knots: “See! Needs to use weapons! Can’t even fight!”

Sharper: “Or maybe just having some fun at the expensive of Frank Delatosso and Dexter Grant. And remember, no count outs in an Adrenaline rules match.”

Grant rolls over as Kim grabs him and pulls him up before then walks him over to the announce table. She drives him face first into the top of the table. Grant staggers and Kim grabs him and drives him into it again. The crowd roars. Grant falls back to the ring. Kim then stops before tapping her jaw and then smiles before grabbing Grant by the head and running him over to the announce table, driving him face first into it again. Grant falls back and rolls over. Kim grabs him and drags him up and turns and rolls him into the ring. Kim climbs onto the apron and climbs to the top rope. Grant starts to get up and Kim dives off and hits a double axe handle smash. Grant goes down. Kim goes for the pin.

Grant kicks out. He turns and moves to the ropes. Kim then walks over to him and grabs him and Grant reaches up and grabs her head and hair and then pulls her through the ropes to the apron. Grant gets up and then hits a basement dropkick, kicking Kim’s legs out from under her and she drops to the floor, her face hitting the apron.

Sharper: “Grant with the dropkick. Kim first knocked off and then landing face first on the ring apron.”

Knots: “Great use of the ring. Gotta use what you have to get ahead!”

Sharper: “Unlike the steel steps.”

Knots: “Those are clearly a weapon. Grant was just using the ring!”

Kim turns and winces as Grant slides under the bottom rope to the floor. He then grabs Kim and pulls her up and then scoops her up and hits a back suplex into the barricade. Kim grimaces in pain. Grant then grabs her and pulls her up and rolls her into the ring. Grant rolls in after. Kim starts to get up and Grant runs into the adjacent ropes, bouncing off and hitting a clothesline, knocking her down. Kim turns and starts to get up and Grant grabs her and whips her into the corner. He then runs after and clotheslines her again, this time sandwiching her in the corner. He then drags her out and then just throws her back with a mat slam. He goes for the pin.

Kim kicks out. Grant gets up and looks around as Kim starts to move to the corner. Grant follows up and forearms her in the jaw once and then again. He then goes to whip her across the ring. Grant runs after, but Kim jumps up and floats over him. She backs up and Grant runs at him and Kim boots him in the face before then hitting a spinning heel kick to the jaw.

Sharper: “Hard kick to the head. Then the spinning heel kick. Kim using some of those trademarks of the Jones’s family. Always known for their kicks.”

Knots: “Yeah, yeah. That Jones propaganda! Trying to make her one of their own. They should disown her. Or force her to be Kim Jones at least. Own her disaster!”

Kim then gets up as Grant moves to the ropes only for Kim to roll him up in a school boy.

Grant kicks out. Both get up and Grant runs at Kim, but Kim sidesteps and sends Grant into the corner chest first. He staggers out and Kim kicks him in the ribs, runs into the ropes, and bounces off, hitting a scissors kick. Grant hits the mat. Kim then moves to the ropes. She slingshots over before then grabbing the top rope and hitting a flipping leg drop to the head of Grant. She then goes for the pin.

Grant gets his shoulder up. He rolls over and moves to the ropes. Kim then gets up and stomps him in the chest over and over again. She then turns and runs into the ropes. She bounces off and Grant gets up and hits the Clickbait. The crowd ohs as Kim just drops.

Knots: “Now that’s some Clickbait. And I’ll click that!”

Sharper: “Feigned the kick. Then the back elbow. And Kim stopped dead in her tracks!”

Kim winces and Grant then grabs the top rope nearby, using it for leverage, as he stomps away on Kim with repeated shots to the chest. Kim covers up as Grant walks around the ring. Kim turns and winces and Grant grabs her, pulling her up before locking in a cobra clutch. He then hoists her up and drops her with the Unplugged. Grant hooks the leg.

Kim kicks out again. He then rolls her over to her stomach and then drives the point of his elbow into the back of her head. Grant then gets up and exits to the apron. He looks at the crowd, getting boos from the Phoenix crowd, before climbing up to the top rope. He turns to Kim and Kim then runs over and runs up the corner and jumps up, wrapping her legs around his head and hitting a top rope snap frankensteiner. The crowd erupts.

Sharper: “Kim! Suddenly getting up and takes Grant off the top with a huge frankensteiner!”

Knots: “Okay…uh…”

Sharper: “Getting your head out of your ass, Jon! And she’s looking to pile on!”

Kim gets up as Grant staggers up and Kim hits the Morrigan’s Wrath. Grant hits the mat. Kim goes for the pin.

Grant kicks out. He turns and rolls over and reaches for the ropes. Kim turns and grabs his leg and then pulls him back to the middle of the ring. She then moves him to his back and Grant fights off, but Kim stomps him in the stomach. Grant winces in pain before Kim then steps through and locks in the Scorned! The crowd roars.

Sharper: “And Kim with the Scorned! Middle of the ring. A wrestling hold, Jon!”

Knots: “Well…uh…”

Sharper: “And Grant fighting to get to the ropes, but Kim locking it in the middle of the ring!”

She sits back as the crowd roars. Grant yells in pain as he bridges up. He grits his teeth as Cassidy checks on him. He shakes his head no. He then starts to crawl a bit closer to the ropes. He starts to bite his finger, trying to fight through the pain as Kim keeps the hold on. Kim continues to lock it in as Grant reaches around and grabs at the leg. He punches at it frantically, before we see a chair thrown into the ring. The crowd looks on as Kim looks at the chair. We cut to the floor as we see Wendell standing there. He then looks around before looking under the ring. He then grabs another item, this time and holds it. He winces and throws it into the ring, a barbed wire wrapped bat. Kim looks at it, smirking. But this allows Grant to start to move forward as Kim, a bit distracted, slightly loosens the hold. She keeps it on though as Grant moves to the ropes. Grant grabs the ropes as Kim locks it in again.

Kim lets go and steps forward and looks at the weapons. Cassidy quickly runs over and kicks the chair out of the ring before moving to the barbed wire wrapped bat. Kim looks at it and smirks as Wendell looks on.

Sharper: “Wendell getting Kim’s attention.”

Knots: “Look at that bloodlust! Come on! Use it. Prove you can’t win without it!”

Sharper: “She’s not touched it. And she kept the hold on. But Wendell’s attention gave Grant an opening.”

Kim then turns around as suddenly, Grant hits the Unwanted Notification. Kim drops to the mat. Grant rolls through for the pin as Cassidy gets the bat out of the ring. She sees the pin.

Kim gets her shoulder up. Grant turns and looks around and snaps at Cassidy. Cassidy confirms the two count as Grant gets up and Kim rolls over, holding her jaw. Grant watches her and starts to pull her up before hooking her up and hitting a release dragon suplex. Kim rolls through and leans back on the ropes. Grant then grabs her and pulls her up and places her throat on the middle rope and starts to choke her.

Grant: “See this! She’s not going to get it back. This isn’t going to end her way. No meme, no WASLEY, not BS marketing!”

Grant steps off. Kim coughs as she leans back, still on her knees .Grant then grabs her and scoops her up and slams her down. He exits to the apron and climbs up to the top rope. He looks over at Kim and dives off with a top rope elbow drop, but Kim rolls out of the way. Grant hits and rolls over, holding his arm in pain. He shakes it out and turns around and Kim takes him down and then locks in the Homage to the Queen!

Sharper: “Homage to the Queen! Kim looking again to get Grant to tap out. And taking advantage of his elbow being driven into the canvas!”

Knots: “So she can get lucky!”

Sharper: “This isn’t lucky. This is her proving she can wrestle with anyone. Reminding us what she can do! Right in the face of our CEO!”

Grant yells out as Kim holds onto it. She keeps the hold on and Grant reaches around before pushing back on his feet. The result is that Kim’s shoulders end up to the mat.

1!

2!

Kim kicks out, letting go. Both then get up and run at one another and hit a double clothesline, taking each other down.

Sharper: “Grant found a way to get Kim’s shoulders down. Only at two, but now the double clothesline.”

Knots: “Okay, Dexter. You can get the good books. Just refocus. Reconnect to Disconnect. Yeah. That! Disconnect Kim!”

Kim rolls over as Grant winces and turns to his stomach. He crawls away as Wendell looks on. He then looks around as Kim grabs at the ropes. Grant then starts to climb up to his feet. Kim staggers up and Wendell hops onto the apron. The official goes to stop him and Kim turns and runs over and nails Wendell with a hard right. The crowd roars. Grant grabs Kim and Kim swings back, catching Grant with a back elbow. Grant staggers back and his arm catches Cassidy in the face. Cassidy goes down. Grant falls to a knee. Kim staggers before the crowd boos loudly. We then see Polly Playtime running out from the back, brandishing of all things, an electric guitar. Polly slides in as Cassidy winces. Grant looks up and then drops down as Polly swings and nails Kim in the face with the guitar. The guitar cracks, the neck breaking. The crowd ohs. Polly then looks at Grant and then Kim before dropping back and rolling out of the ring.

Sharper: “What the hell? Polly again! Polly getting involved!”

Knots: “Guess she wanted to play some music!”

Sharper: “Well I know one person who may have a guitar on him. Jackson Mikaelson has had issues with Grant. But Playtime just nailed Kim! But Grant ducked!”

Kim turns, wincing, holding her face, half out of it and she turns around into Grant who grabs her and hits the Detox Drop. Grant rolls Kim over and hooks the leg. Cassidy turns and sees the pin, wincing, as she rubs her eyes.

The crowd boos as Polly just looks at the ring. She looks at the guitar, throwing it down.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Dexter Grant!”

Sharper: “Grant moves on! Kim, for the second time in a couple of weeks, Polly Playtime has nailed her in the head with a weapon!”

Knots: “How is that death match BS going now?!”

Sharper: “Blindsided both times and Grant took advantage. Kim had control of this and frankly, she should be moving to the finals! But instead, Grant gets his rematch for the Adrenaline Title and Polly Playtime leaving two of the three semifinalists down on the back!”

Polly heads to the back as Wendell enters the ring, holding his jaw. He helps Grant up as Grant looks around. Kim turns, wincing and grimacing in pain. She just looks annoyed as cameras focus on her before the scene fades out.

Happy music plays as we see a man walking into a room, smiling, before showing a woman grabbing a cup of coffee and looking longingly while content. We then see a dog running through a field of wildflowers before showing friends smiling and laughing while gathered around a table in a personal residence. We then see a man laughing with a woman, before showing a woman stepping outside of their home, bending over, and picking up a package, looking forward, satisfactorily, and confident. We then see a man taking a deep breath, wearing a suit, and looking at themselves in a mirror, before turning and kissing their partner on the cheek and leaving their apartment, grabbing a briefcase on the way. The partner, presumably the man s wife, smiles, while cupping a cup of coffee in her hands. She takes a sip as the scene goes opaque.

The European Fiery Nation vs. The Shinigami Foundation

Underground Rules

Off To War by Behemoth plays over the sound system with the lights being dark as ever as Ginny in the middle, Ludvig on the left and Dakon on the right-hand sides step out onto the stage, looking at the crowd and getting heavy boos. When the lights briefly come back on, you see Dakon, Ludvig and Ginny waving their Norway, Sweden and German flags.

Phillips: “The following tag team Underground Rules match is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, being accompanied to the ring by Ginny Raab… Dakon Theron and Ludvig Eriksson, the European Fiery Nation!”

The lights go out again as they walk down to the ring with their flags and step on the stairs, and do a hold-up in the middle of the ring as they gave their flags to Ginny out on the floor. When the lights return, Ginny returns to the back while Dakon and Ludvig pace around in the ring, eager for a fight.

Knots: “These guys are still around? I figured they would've given up when Konrad finally wised up and threw in the towel.”

Sharper: “Not exactly, Jon. Kemal's in charge now, but one thing that hasn't changed is Dakon and Ludvig's love of violence, and they called out the Shinigami Foundation specifically to meet them in their favorite environment here tonight.”

Knots: “I'm surprised Delatosso allowed them to have this after Kemal screwed up royally by failing to beat Kim when she could barely stand! They say poor leadership reflects badly on the whole team... just ask CHBK!”

“Never Gonna Stop (The Red Red Kroovy)” by Rob Zombie hits as Wil Pierce and Alex Belmont march out onto the stage, staring a hole straight through Dakon and Ludvig down in the ring.

Sharper: “The EFN didn't care who the Foundation sent out to face them, and it looks like the original duo of Pierce and Belmont are the ones answering the challenge!”

Knots: “Maybe Dakon and Ludvig can prove themselves useful for once by taking these guys out! I mean, stepping up for Chris Dumont after he got what he deserved? Who does that?”

Sharper: “I had a feeling you weren't going to let that go...”

Phillips: “And their opponents... Wil Pierce and Alex Belmont, the Shinigami-”

As Pierce and Belmont head down the ramp, Jason Phillips’s introduction of them is cut off as Dakon and Ludvig exit the ring and rush up the ramp to meet them! Both teams immediately begin brawling as the Shinigami Foundation’s music cuts and referee Steve Hollinsworth signals for the bell to get things started. As the brawl makes its way down to the bottom of the ramp, Dakon seems to pair off with Belmont while Ludvig pairs off with Pierce, both pairs drifting around opposite sides of the ring. Belmont hits a forearm to Dakon that sends him staggering around the steel steps, but when Belmont looks to start detaching the steps for something, Dakon steps up and catches him with a european uppercut! Belmont staggers back as Dakon lifts up the ring skirt and looks for something, but his attention is diverted as Belmont runs into a handstand on the steel steps before twisting into a capoeira-style kick to the back of the head that propels Dakon facefirst into the ring post! On the other side of the ring, Pierce and Ludvig are exchanging european uppercuts, neither man gaining the clear upper hand, until Pierce manages to dodge one from Ludvig, letting his momentum spin him around so he can hook him in a full nelson and take him over with a dragon suplex on the floor!

Sharper: “This is going to be a hard one to keep up with as Underground Rules tag matches don’t require tags, but for the moment, the Shinigami Foundation look like they have the upper hand.”

Knots: “The glorious return of the so-called wild west of SCW in 2026!”

Pierce walks around for a moment as we see Ludvig crawl until the upper half of his body is hiding under the ring. Pierce doesn’t seem to notice him as he catches Belmont’s gaze across the ring and the two of them acknowledge each other. Belmont grabs Dakon and throws him into the ring, rolling in after him as Dakon slowly pulls himself to his feet in the corner. Belmont jogs around the ring for a moment to build momentum before he charges and nearly takes Dakon’s head off with the Gilgamesh Full House! Dakon slumps into the corner as Pierce, still out on the floor, goes to grab Ludvig’s leg and pulls him out from under the ring, but Ludvig comes out with a kendo stick and catches Pierce right in the gut with it! Pierce doubles over, having had the wind knocked out of him, and Ludvig slips behind him and uses the kendo stick to pin his arms before taking him over with a unique kendo stick-assisted arm-trap german suplex! Belmont sees what’s happening and quickly moves out onto the apron, running to dive off at Ludvig as he rises, but he’s caught by a kendo stick swing that floors him!

Sharper: “Ludvig and that kendo stick proving to be the difference maker right now as both Pierce and Belmont are down!”

Knots: “Maybe these clowns will actually regret taking the EFN up on their offer!”

Ludvig slides the kendo stick into the ring before he lifts up the ring skirt and grabs a trash can that promptly gets tossed inside, followed by a steel chair. Ludvig pulls out a second steel chair, only for Belmont to reach out and grab it. This just leads to Ludvig stomping on Belmont’s hand, crushing it between the sole of his boot and the chair! Belmont jerks back before Ludvig grabs him and throws him into the ring. Belmont staggers to his feet, and Dakon meets him with a kendo stick shot right across the ribs! This doubles Belmont over as Dakon pulls him into position, letting Ludvig slide the second chair in before he powerbombs Belmont onto the small pile of chairs! Dakon stacks up Belmont for the cover.

1!

2!

Belmont kicks out! Ludvig looks annoyed out on the floor… only to turn right into a hellacious lariat from Pierce!

Sharper: “Ludvig nearly decapitated out on the floor as Belmont is almost compacted on those chairs in the ring!”

Knots: “I’ve got to tell you, Adam… I really missed seeing idiots beat the living hell out of each other like this and getting to call it.”

Pierce wanders around to the side of the ring right in front of the announce table, lifting up the ring skirt before he manages to find a rather lengthy steel chain! Dakon, unaware of this, is too busy focusing on setting the steel chairs up in a way that bridges the seats together. He turns his attention back to Belmont as Pierce wraps the chain around his fist. Dakon starts to hook Belmont for a pumphandle, but Pierce slides into the ring and explodes into a chain-assisted Rasengan! Dakon lets go of Belmont and staggers back, tripping over the chair bridge he’s created and tumbling to the mat as Pierce helps Belmont to his feet. The two of them see what Dakon’s set up and nod to one another as Belmont moves to climb to the top turnbuckle while Pierce lifts Dakon up into a sidewalk slam position. He walks over to hold Dakon above the chair bridge as Belmont leaps from the top into a sidewalk slam/diving leg drop combination that sends Dakon through the bridged seats of the chairs! Pierce hooks the leg for the cover.

1!

2!

Ludvig suddenly comes flying off the top rope, catching Belmont with a diving hurricanrana that flips him onto Pierce to break the pin!

Sharper: “Ludvig flying in out of nowhere to save his partner!”

Knots: “Belmont could’ve prevented that if he’d been paying attention, but that’s a problem everyone in the Foundation always seems to have, don’t they?”

Ludvig gets up and moves to the trash can, where he grabs the lid from it. Belmont manages to roll back to his feet and rushes Ludvig, but whatever kick he seemed to have planned is cut off as Ludvig swings with the trash can lid and smashes Belmont’s knee with it! Belmont crumples to the mat, clutching at his knee, and Ludvig proceeds to unload on his back and side with more attacks with the lid! Ludvig turns as Pierce starts to get up and goes to swing at him with the lid, but Pierce ducks it, the momentum causing Ludvig to drop the lid, and Pierce runs off the ropes before catching Ludvig in the face with the Shot for Shot! Pierce takes a moment to get his bearings before he hauls Ludvig up and starts to hook him for some sort of powerbomb, only for Dakon to smash the trash can lid off of Pierce’s skull! Pierce staggers from this shot as Dakon discards the lid in favor of him and Ludvig both grabbing the steel chairs, uncaring that they’re mangled, and blasting Pierce across the back and side in stereo with them!

Sharper: “Double chair shots from the European Fiery Nation and they’ve got the Shinigami Foundation in trouble here!”

Knots: “These guys don’t care how mangled those chairs are. If they can bludgeon you with it, they’re living the dream!”

Pierce leans against the ropes, gritting his teeth as he tries to fight through the pain while the EFN lay the mangled chairs as flat as they can on the mat. Pierce turns and Dakon boots him in the gut before lifting him up, this time having Ludvig aid him in powerbombing Pierce into the chairs! Dakon goes for the cover as Ludvig dusts his hands off, certain this match is over.

1!

2!

Belmont catches Dakon in the face with a baseball slide to break up the pin! Ludvig turns and rushes Belmont, but realizes too late he’s grabbed the chain and wrapped it around his arm until it’s used against him for a more devastating Deathwing Lariat! Belmont leans against the ropes for a moment as he surveys the carnage in the ring, his gaze being drawn towards the trash can. He grabs it and moves to start sliding it over Ludvig’s body until most of the upper half is inside. Once he’s got Ludvig right where he wants him, he starts heading for the corner, only to catch Dakon charging him with the kendo stick out of the corner of his eye, and he thwarts this by backdropping him over the top rope and out of the ring! With Dakon out of the picture, Belmont slowly climbs to the top turnbuckle, nodding to himself and feeding off the energy of the roaring fans before he leaps off with a Firestorm Frog Splash, crushing Ludvig inside the trash can! Belmont stays on top of Ludvig for a pin, but referee Steve Hollinsworth waves it off as Ludvig’s shoulders technically aren’t on the mat, forcing Belmont to slowly try to pull the crushed trash can off of Ludvig. While he’s doing this, Pierce has managed to get back to his feet and bounces off the ropes before clearing Belmont and Ludvig as he soars through the ropes with the Arrow from the Depths of Hell, driving Dakon into the barricade to keep him from intervening! Belmont finally gets Ludvig free of the trash can and tries the cover again, hooking the leg for good measure.

1!

2!

Ludwig manages to kick out! The fans are on their feet as this war continues while Belmont looks frustrated.

Sharper: “The Shinigami Foundation almost with the win off that big frog splash from Belmont-”

Knots: “But everyone knows someone’s shoulders aren’t on the mat if they’re stuffed into a trash can! Everyone except Belmont and Pierce, apparently!”

Sharper: “Are you sure you want to be pushing buttons with these guys when they could do to you what Chris Dumont did?”

Knots: “They can try, but if they do, Delatosso will happily toss their whole sorry group from SCW for good! Trust me!”

Sharper can be heard sighing in resignation as we see Pierce pulling Dakon to his feet out on the floor before dropping him into the barricade with the End of Line! Belmont yells to Pierce to join him in the ring as he starts moving Ludvig to the corner, hoisting him up onto the top rope while facing the crowd before he pulls him back into a tree of woe. Pierce grins, picking up what his partner is putting down as he rolls back into the ring, joining Belmont in climbing the turnbuckles to make Ludvig scream in agony with the Terrorvision! A few fans groan at this as Pierce and Belmont ask Ludvig how it feels.

Knots: “What is wrong with these guys!? Disqualify them, Hollinsworth!”

Sharper: “It’s Underground Rules, Jon! It’s all legal, you know this!”

The Shinigami Foundation continue to torture Ludvig with the Terrorvision until a steel chair suddenly flies into the shot, catching Pierce right in the face! Pierce falls to the mat as Belmont looks and sees Dakon out on the floor, having also set up a table at some point recently. Belmont, with one last press down on Ludvig’s groin, leaps from the top with a Cactus Elbow to try and make Dakon pay, but Dakon cracks him in the ribs with the kendo stick on the way down, which changes Belmont’s trajectory just enough that his face smacks off the edge of the table! The fans groan at the rough landing as Ludvig falls out of the tree of woe, and Dakon collects Ludvig from the ring and demands he get himself together so they can end this.

Sharper: “Dakon making the save and Belmont with a nasty landing there.”

Knots: “Should’ve looked before he leaped.”

After giving Ludvig a moment to collect himself, Dakon grabs Belmont and drags him around to the other side of the table before using a short-arm irish whip to pull Belmont in so he and Ludvig can hit the European United Drop through the table! Ludvig falls back, still clutching at his groin as Dakon rolls Belmont over and goes for a pin in the wreckage of the table, with Hollinsworth sliding out of the ring to make the count.

1!

2!

Wil Pierce suddenly runs off the ropes and handsprings into a suicide version of the Shapeshifter that clears the top rope and crushes Dakon to break up the pin!

Sharper: “Oh my god! Wil Pierce clearing the top rope with that handspring moonsault to save this match for the Shinigami Foundation!”

Knots: “How the hell does he even know where he is after eating a steel chair?”

The fans are on their feet as Steve Hollinsworth safely rolls back into the ring as all four men are down out on the floor, though Pierce is already stirring. Ludvig isn’t too far behind him, but he’s still trying to recover from the Terrorvision. Pierce lines Ludvig up and charges him for the Event Horizon, but Ludvig manages to sidestep it and Pierce has to stop himself from smashing his knee into the barricade! He turns and Ludvig catches him with a cutter on the floor! Finally shaking off the effects of the Terrorvision, Ludvig grabs Pierce by the hair and throws him back into the ring before he yells for Dakon to get his ass into the ring as well. Ludvig slides into the ring and grabs the steel chair Dakon threw at Pierce before unfolding it as Dakon pulls himself back into the ring. After a brief conversation, Ludvig starts pulling himself up to the top turnbuckle as Dakon lifts Pierce up in an electric chair.

Sharper: Dakon and Ludvig now, setting up for the Fiery European Destroyer!”

Knots: “Time for these boys to finally prove their worth to Delatosso! I’d say it was nice knowing Pierce, but I’d hate to lie on my first night back on the job!”

Just as Ludvig prepares to leap, intending for Pierce to drop onto the unfolded chair once he’s clotheslined off of Dakon’s shoulders, a kendo stick suddenly catches him in the side! Belmont pulls himself onto the apron before swinging the kendo stick again, this time catching Ludvig in the side of the head! It’s at this point that Pierce starts raining down punches on Dakon, trying to slip off of his shoulders. Belmont backs up a bit along the apron before he runs and catches a teetering Ludvig with another Gilgamesh Full House, sending him flying off the top rope and hitting the edge of the announce table chestfirst! As Ludvig bounces off the table and rolls across the floor, Pierce manages to hop off Dakon’s shoulders before stunning him with another Rasengan! He grabs Dakon in a bearhug as Belmont ascends to the top turnbuckle before Pierce holds Dakon out, sliding him through the gap beneath the backrest so his head is draped over the edge of the seat on the steel chair and his torso is on the seat itself. Belmont leaps off the top as he and Pierce connect with the Disasterpiece, obliterating the steel chair in the process! Pierce helps Belmont free Dakon’s lifeless body from the mangled chair to be on the safe side before Belmont goes for the cover, hooking the leg.

3!

Referee Steve Hollinsworth calls for the bell as “Never Gonna Stop (The Red Red Kroovy)” by Rob Zombie hits again. Pierce helps Belmont up as Hollinsworth raises their arms in victory, the both of them a bit unsteady and definitely battered and bruised from this brawl, but victorious.

Phillips: “Here are your winners… The Shinigami Foundation!”

Sharper: “Pierce and Belmont making a statement here tonight with a hard-fought win for the Shinigami Foundation, and this is going to be a harsh setback for Dakon and Ludvig in their Tag Title aspirations.”

Knots: “It was the kind of chaos I missed having a front row seat to… I just wish the European clowns would’ve won instead!

Pierce and Belmont slowly walk around the ring for a moment, playing to the crowd as Hollinsworth checks on Dakon in the ring while Ludvig is still writhing on the floor. The Shinigami Foundation eventually climb out of the ring and start heading to the back, bumping fists and nodding to each other on a job well done tonight.

As they head to the back…

“Kayl TV: It'll Take Over Your LIFE!”

The lights light up on the entrance set as the crowd erupts in cheers. “Paralyzer” by Finger Eleven plays as we see Devon Kayl walk out from the back and look around the arena. He extends his arms and spins around a bit before smirking and nodding and then heading to the ring.

Knots: “What the hell is this? We don’t need that clown!”

Sharper: “Someone clearly disagreed!”

Kayl walks down the rampway and walks past the Shinigami Foundation before he then goes to the ring. We see the EFN slowly exiting the ring before Kayl walks around the ring and over to the announce position. He then walks over to Sharper and nods before glaring at Knots.

Knots: “Screw off! Go home! Make some amateur movies!”

Kayl puts on a headset and sits down on the opposite side of Sharper.

Kayl: “No, Jon. You’ve had your time. Nice little thing pulled there, but the person actually running the show has paid for me to be out here and I’m going to be out here.”

Sharper: “CHBK sent you out?”

Kayl: “Exactly.”

Knots: “Oh this isn’t going to last!”

Jackson Mikaelson vs. Chris Lawler vs. Simon Lyman

The dimmed lights cast an atmosphere of anticipation as the arena falls into darkness, the only illumination coming from the pulsating strobe lights. The crowd's murmurs fade into a hush as the opening chords of "Warrior" by Imagine Dragons reverberate through the speakers, electrifying the air with anticipation.

From the depths of the darkness, a figure emerges, his silhouette outlined against the backdrop of flashing lights. With each step, the floor trembles beneath his feet, echoing the determination that propels him forward. It's Chris Lawler, a titan among men, his presence commanding attention as he strides purposefully down the entrance ramp.

Phillips: “The following contest is a triple threat match, scheduled for onefall, with a fifteen minute time limit. First, on his way to the ring, from Nashville, Tennessee, he is Chris Lawler!”

His eyes, a piercing shade of blue, remain fixed on the ring ahead, unwavering in their focus as if they could pierce through the very fabric of reality. Ignoring the cacophony of cheers and jeers that surround him, Lawler remains resolute in his mission, his gaze locked on the squared circle where his destiny awaits.

As Lawler reaches the foot of the ring, the strobe lights reach a crescendo, bathing him in a pulsating glow of light and shadow. With a subtle nod to the crowd, Lawler ascends the steel steps, each footfall a testament to his unwavering determination.

Finally, he steps between the ropes, his presence filling the ring with an aura of intensity and purpose. Standing tall in the center of the ring, Lawler raises his gaze to the heavens, a silent vow etched upon his features. Tonight, he will leave everything in the ring, his spirit unbroken, his resolve unyielding, as he prepares to face whatever challenges come his way.

Sharper: “Last time we saw Chris Lawler, he came off a big win in at Fatal Fortunes. A good start to his 2026. He’s trying to move on from the Shinigami Foundation and he’s claimed that he will earn SCW gold this year.”

Kayl: “Good on him. The man has fought through a lot.”

Knots: “Yeah, but come on. At some point, he just needs to break through. And he’s got a chance. Take out someone on decline, and someone before they get going!”

The crowd buzzes before “Hero” by Skillet plays. The crowd roars. A few moments pass before we see Simon Lyman walk out from the back, wearing his wrestling robe. He looks around as she pauses for a few seconds, taking in the moment. He then looks up and looks around the arena. The crowd cheers as Simon then heads to the ring.

Phillips: “Next, from Columbus, Ohio, he is Simply Sensational... Simon Lyman!”

Simon walks down the entrance way. Simon walks over to the ring and over to the steel steps. He grabs the ringpost and climbs up the steps and onto the apron. He then steps into the ring. He steps around and extends his arms as the crowd cheers him. He looks around for a few moments before undoing his robe. He slides it down and places it on the outside. He then walks around the ring before going to the corner and stretching out.

Knots: “So who is going to be Columbus’s favourite son. Both Lyman and Lawler from there.”

Sharper: “I don’t know if that’s the key takeaway here, Jon. But Simon Lyman, you wonder what is going through his mind. He challenged ENIGMA last Breakdown, but given the rumours…”

Kayl: “Put them aside. Focus on competing. Just focus on the key part. Win and win and win.”

The guitars hit and Jackson Michaelson bursts through the curtain like the stage is calling his name. He doesn’t walk—he struts with a big grin, pointing to fans as if he’s greeting familiar faces at a concert.

Phillips: “And finally, from Austin, Texas, he is Jackson Mikaelson!”

He claps along with the beat, getting sections of the crowd to join in, raising his hand high and moving it like a conductor when the vocal kicks in. Jackson takes a moment at the top of the ramp to bow exaggeratedly like a rockstar thanking a crowd, then heads to the ring with playful swagger. Just as he gets to the ringside area, we see Dexter Grant running up behind him. He nails him from behind. Jackson rolls over and scrambles to his feet as Grant nails him with a hard right and then another.

Knots: “What a guy! Helping Polly take out Kim with his guitar.”

Sharper: “Now wait a minute. We don’t know anything like that. We just assumed he may have a connection given his recent issues with Grant.”

Knots: “And Grant thinks the same way!”

Kayl: “Grant out here and attacking Mikaelson. You’re right Knots-“

Knots: “I always am!”

Kayl: “He isn’t sure about matters and he’s just jumped Mikaelson!”

Grant gets a few more shots in before Lyman runs over to the ropes, but just then, Lawler pulls him back and nails him with a hard right. Lyman staggers to the ropes as the bell sounds. Lawler nails Lyman with another hard right before Lyman falls into the corner. Lawler then kicks Lyman in the ribs nailing him over and over again with shots. The official, Steve Hollinsworth, tries to get him off, but there are no disqualifications. Lawler gets a few more good shots in before we see Grant grab Mikaelson and run him over to the steel steps. The top half bowls over as Mikaelson goes down. Grant then heads over before officials run down, starting to separate Grant from Jackson.

Sharper: “Officials coming down to stop Grant from attacking Mikaelson.”

Knots: “Why! Let him get what’s coming to him!”

Sharper: “There’s a match going on, Jon!”

Knots: “No DQ! Who cares!”

Dillusion and Hiro Tanaka, two of SCW’s road agents get Grant back as Grant looks at Mikaelson before pulling away. He holds his hands up and starts to walk to the back. The crowd boos as other officials check on Mikaelson. We then see Lawler pull Lyman up in the ring, whipping him into the ropes. Lyman bounces off and Lawler hits a back elbow. He then hits an elbow drop and goes for the pin.

Lyman kicks out. Lawler looks over and sees Mikaelson down with Grant being forced to walk to the back. Lawler then crawls over to the ropes and slides under. He then walks over and pushes the officials out of the way before grabbing Mikaelson. He then pulls him up and rolls him into the ring. Mikaelson slowly gets up and Lawler slides in before running at him and nailing him with a vicious clothesline. Mikaelson goes down.

Sharper: “And Lawler picking up the scraps!”

Kayl: “No hesitation! Nothing!”

Knots: “Looks like he finally learned! Good on him!”

Lawler goes for the pin.

Mikaelson kicks out. Lawler looks up and nails Mikaelson with a couple of hard right hands as Grant looks back, smirking. Hiro Tanaka and Dillusion follow him to the back. Lawler then gets up as Lyman runs out of the corner and knocks Lawler down with a dropkick. The crowd roars. Lawler rolls over. He starts to get up and Lawler turns into Lyman who kicks him in the ribs before hooking him up and hitting a vertical suplex. Lyman then gets up and hits an elbow drop before going for the pin.

Lawler kicks out. Lawler rolls over as Lyman follows up and stomps him in the head and then the chest as he rolls over and then the head again. Mikaelson uses the ropes to get up. Lyman grabs Lawler and whips him across the ring. Lawler hits the opposite corner and Lyman runs across and hits a running clothesline, sandwiching him in the corner. He then pushes Lawler out and Mikaelson runs out and he hits a running knee strike before bowing, completing the Sonic Bloom.

Sharper: “And Mikaelson got Lawler in the jaw!”

Kayl: “Take a bow kid, but don’t take your eyes off Lyman either!”

Mikaelson turns as Lawler rolls over, holding his jaw. Lyman then steps up and nails Mikaelson with a hard right. Mikaelson fires back. They trade blows before Mikaelson knees Lyman in the ribs. He then drops to his back and hits a hard right. Lyman stumbles back. Mikaelson nips up and runs over and nails Lyman with a hard right. Lawler starts to get up and Mikaelson whips Lyman out. Lyman runs into Lawler who hoists him up onto his shoulders. He then spins him out into a TKO. Lawler goes for the pin.

Lawler kicks out. Both get up as Mikaelson nails Lawler with a series of hard rights to the back of the4 head. He then pulls him in and Lawler spins out and hits an uppercut. Mikaelson staggers. Lawler steps up and Mikaelson just boots him in the stomach. Lawler recovers and steps up before Lyman climbs to the top rope. He glances back and hits a moonsault, taking both down!

Sharper: “Lyman! Off the top! A rare top rope moonsault from the Simply Sensational one!”

Kayl: “Saw an opportunity. Mikaelson and Lawler too focused on each other!”

Knots: “How many more of those does he have in him?”

Lyman looks up as Mikaelson and Lawler roll away from one another. They start to get up and Lyman then hits a straight kick to the ribs of Mikaelson. He nails Lawler with a hard right and then a kick to the ribs. He turns and Mikaelson nails him in the ribs with a shot and then a sweep. Lyman rolls over. Lawler then runs at Mikaelson and boots him in the face. Mikaelson goes down. Lawler sees Lyman stirring and Lawler runs into the ropes, bouncing off, but Lyman catches him and hits a spinning spinebuster. He rolls through into a pin, pulling on the leg.

Lawler gets the shoulder up. Lyman gets up as Lawler rolls over and moves to the corner. Lyman then sees as Mikaelson handsprings towards him. Lyman moves out of the way and Mikaelson handsprings past him and into a jumping enziguri to the head of Lawler. Lawler falls to the mat, but Lyman waits. Mikaelson turns around and Lyman kicks him in the ribs. He hoists him up into a powerbomb position before cradling his head and hitting the Smite! Lyman crawls over and hooks the leg.

1!

2!

Lawler breaks it up.

Sharper: “And Lawler breaks it up!”

Knots: “Gotta keep your head moving. Lyman pulling out his greatest hits, but sometimes you need the new material!”

Kayl: “What?”

Knots: “It sounded good, though?”

Kayl: “Yeah, like you returning.”

Lawler gets up and Mikaelson stirs. Lawler then grabs him and pulls him up and hits a sidewalk slam. Mikaelson rolls over. Lyman starts to pull himself up and Lawler turns to him, but Lyman spins him into the corner. Lyman nails him with a hard right and then another and another. Lyman then lifts Lawler up and places him on the top turnbuckle. The crowd roars as Lyman nails him with a hard right and then another. Lyman then climbs up to the middle turnbuckle and then to the top. He grabs Lawler and hooks him up and just then Mikaelson runs over and jumps up, nailing Lyman in the back. He turns and grabs Lyman as Lyman and Lawler remain hooked. He then pulls Lyman off as Lyman hits a superplex into a powerbomb/superplex combo. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “Powerbomb! Suplex!”

Kayl: “Huge move by Mikaelson!”

Lyman rolls over to his side as Lawler remains down. Mikaelson looks out and then crawls over to Lawler, covering him.

Lawler kicks out. Lyman moves to the corner. Mikaelson sees this and then runs at him and hits a running corner dropkick. Lyman falls to the mat. Mikaelson then throws him down and goes for the pin.

2!

Lyman shoots his shoulder up. Mikaelson rolls off and looks around. He then looks around and pulls himself up.

Kayl: “Smart going for what you have. But both Lawler and Lyman finding a way to get out!”

Sharper: “Both showing so much heart in this career. Both wanting to win this. Mikaelson too. All three know this is a tone setter!”

Mikaelson looks at Lyman as Lyman starts to slowly roll over and Mikaelson sets up, bringing his finger to his mouth. He lunges and Lyman moves out of the way, but Mikaelson slides through, missing the superkick, only for Lawler to crack him with the Final Judgment. Lyman rolls over and Lawler grabs him and pushes him through the ropes to the floor. Lawler dives back onto Jackson Mikaelson.

The crowd roars. The bell sounds.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Chris Lawler!”

Sharper: “And Lawler with another big win. Another multi-person match and another statement!”

Kayl: “He said 2026 is his year to get back to gold. He’s making an early case for it!”

Lawler rolls off and holds his arm up. The crowd looks on as Lyman gets up on the floor. Lawler gets up and looks at Lyman before then backing up and looking around, celebrating a bit before we cut away.

We open up with a shot of the outside of Chase Field. The crowd cheers seeing their home stadium on the screen.

Sharper: “We are live in Phoenix, Arizona. Here in Chase Field, home of the Diamondbacks.”

Kayl: “They could have done a bit more in the off-season.”

Knots: “What’s the point with the Dodgers reloading. I’ve seen your contract Sharper. You on their payroll?”

The stadium remains on the screen for a few moments longer before we cut away.

Federico Gasperini vs. Colleen MacDonald

SCW Television Championship

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is for the SCW Television Championship!”

Body and Blood by A Perfect Murder plays over the sound system as Federico walks through the curtain, holding up his San Marino flag, wearing San Marino flag light blue flame trucks with The European Fiery Nation logo attached to his trunks, wearing light blue elbow pads and light blue knee pads and black wrestling boots with Ginny Raab behind him. He gets many boos as he walks to the ring, ignoring the fans. He stands on the ramp, kissing his biceps and saying he's got a perfectionist body.

Phillips: “Introducing first, the challenger, being accompanied to the ring by Ginny Raab and representing the European Fiery Nation, from Dogana, San Marino, he is... Federico Gasperoni!”

He goes on his knees and flexes his body more and kissing each bicep before he gets off his knees and walks straight to the ring and steps through the ropes as he lets Ginny in the ring and kisses his body biceps each time and showing off his six pack and everything about his body, taking his body extremely seriously, saying he has the best body in professional wrestling before he lets Ginny out of the ring and he waits for the next opponent to come out.

Knots: “You know, maybe it's actually a good thing you came back out here, Devon. I can use this as my bathroom break match.”

Kayl: “Maybe you were better off staying in KABLAMia.”

Sharper: “A rare defense of the Television Title on pay-per-view. Frederico actually won the title in his debut match during night one of Fatal Fortunes-”

Knots: “From a guy literally calling himself Just Some Loser! Seriously, how low did the bar fall around here while I was recovering?”

Sharper: “-but lost it on night two as Colleen won it in a fatal four way. Frederico wasn't pinned to lose it, though, and he demanded a one-on-one rematch.”

Kayl: “He's got an incredible physique, that's for sure, but he's still a very new face so tonight will definitely be an interesting test of what he's truly capable of.”

A coin can be heard dropping into a coin slot, followed by a few girls giggling. But before “C’est La Vie” by B*Witched can even begin, Colleen steps out onto the stage from the backstage area, wearing her normal all-black ring gear and having the SCW Television Title belt around her waist. Colleen does a cutthroat signal. The music turns off as she stands still and waits until the beginning of “How Far I’ll Go” by Auli’i Cravalho begins to play. Colleen nods once before beginning to slowly head down the entrance ramp. The crowd does keep their eyes on her as she looks straight down at the ring.

Phillips: “His opponent, from Orderville, Utah, she is the SCW Television Champion... Colleen MacDonald!”

She keeps going until she arrives down at the ring. Not quickening her pace, she steps up the steel ring steps and climbs over the top rope to get into the ring. Once inside she does look around the arena. She simply approves of her surroundings before she turns to the business at hand, removing the title from around her waist and handing it to referee Jennifer Cassidy to hold up as she begins warming up before the bell rings. The Television Title logo flashes across the screen.

Sharper: “Colleen had an incredible 2025, reigning as Underground Champion for a good chunk of it before losing the title to ENIGMA. Winning the Television Title to start off 2026 is certainly keeping her name on everyone's lips.”

Knots: “I doubt her friend Polly's too happy about that, but that's a wrong Delatosso will be correcting soon enough. I mean, Polly's been fighting a lot harder for a lot longer than Colleen has, so why is Colleen getting all the attention?”

Kayl: “Pretty sure Adam already pointed that out, Jon. Still, this is a notoriously difficult title to keep a hold of and for good reason, so tonight could be Colleen's turn to follow in Polly's footsteps as another incredible Television Champion or Frederico's chance to get right back on top.”

Jennifer Cassidy signals for the bell as Frederico and Colleen slowly close the distance. Frederico looks over Colleen’s physique and scoffs, motioning to her body in disgust before motioning to his own as he flexes, drawing some boos from the fans. Colleen, however, doesn’t let him pose for long before she starts battering him with right hands, drawing cheers from the fans as she backs Frederico against the ropes. She irish whips him off the ropes and he rebounds into a clothesline from Colleen… only, Frederico doesn’t go down! He just laughs and says something to her about needing to work out more, which fires up Colleen to run off the ropes and attempt another clothesline! Frederico staggers back a bit this time but dares Colleen to try that again. Colleen runs off the ropes again, but this time Frederico tries to catch her for a slam, only for Colleen to twist free and land behind him before she runs off those ropes and manages to take him down with a jumping clothesline from behind, throwing all her weight into the blow!

Sharper: “Colleen having to work a bit to get Frederico off his feet.”

Kayl: “Yeah, he looks jacked as hell, but taunting Colleen about it is only going to make her mad and we’ve seen what an angry, motivated Colleen is capable of.”

Knots: “Overshadowing someone who’s supposed to be her friend?”

Colleen mounts Frederico and starts hammering away with right hands as the fans cheer her on. Jennifer Cassidy keeps an eye on this, making sure Colleen’s not using closed fists. Colleen eventually stands up, pivoting to stomping away on Frederico as he rolls towards the nearest corner. He uses the turnbuckles to help pull himself back to his feet before Colleen grabs him and irish whips him into the opposite corner. She charges in after him and leaps into a corner splash, but Frederico catches her and takes a few steps out of the corner before planting her with a spinebuster! Instead of following up, Frederico stands over Colleen, flexing his biceps and even giving one a kiss as he laughs.

Sharper: “Huge spinebuster out of the corner and Frederico instantly turning the tables with his power.”

Kayl: “Colleen’s never been shy about literally throwing her weight around, and here’s Frederico tossing her around like she’s nothing and gloating about it!”

Knots: “He should be following up and beating her into paste! Seriously, I didn’t think the EFN could fall any farther without old man Konrad in the driver’s seat, and I’m not talking about what he’s doing now!”

Colleen starts trying to get up as Frederico notices, letting her get back to her feet before she turns around, and he immediately scoops her up and slams her to the mat. He looks out at the booing fans before he brings Colleen to her feet again and lifts her over his head in a military press, even taking a moment to do a few reps bench pressing her over his head before he drops her into a military press slam! Frederico makes a rather lazy cover, just laying back across Colleen’s body and slowly kind-of hooking a leg.

1!

2!

Colleen kicks out right at the two count! Frederico looks annoyed, glancing at referee Jennifer Cassidy for a moment before he grabs Colleen and just shoves her towards the corner, letting her sit against the bottom turnbuckle as she tries to get her bearings. Frederico smacks his thigh and shouts something in Italian that only draws more boos before he runs off the ropes and tries to catch Colleen with a facewash, but Colleen slips under his boot and Frederico gets caught up on the ropes! He manages to get his foot free before turning just as Colleen throws herself at him, connecting with a spear in the corner! She follows this up with a vicious barrage of forearm strikes, screaming in fury as the fans cheer her on and Frederico starts to look a little dazed.

Sharper: “Colleen avoiding disaster and now she’s just unloading on Frederico in the corner!”

Kayl: “Frederico making a rookie mistake getting too cocky and underestimating Colleen, and now he’s paying the price for it!”

Knots: “Yeah, yeah, she was Underground Champion for a while, whoop de doo. Kind of easy to forget when ENIGMA destroyed her and made a far better champion than she ever did!”

Jennifer Cassidy starts to warn Colleen and she does back off to avoid getting disqualified, preferring a proper win to prove her point over the brash upstart from the EFN. She puts enough space between herself and a recovering Frederico before she charges in with another corner spear! This is enough to cause Frederico to slump into a seated position in the corner, trying to catch his breath, and this gives Colleen the opening to charge in again and crush his head against the turnbuckle with The Facewarmer! She rolls Frederico out of the corner and goes for the cover, hooking the leg.

1!

2!

Frederico gets a shoulder up!

Sharper: “Facewarmer only gets two for Colleen!”

Knots: “If I have to see that move done, I’d much rather see one of the Glimmer Sisters doing it. Or both!”

Kayl: “I’m not surprised you’d be simping over them. Still, Colleen’s got Frederico in a bad way right now and he may be about to learn her TV Title win over him wasn’t a fluke!”

Colleen grabs Frederico’s arm and drags him towards the center of the ring, moving into position for The Collapser. Before she can drop, though, Frederico sits up enough to pull her down into a sunset flip-esque pin attempt!

1!

Frederico stands up and uses his raw strength to deadlift Colleen off the mat, interrupting his own pin but using the momentum to plant her with a running powerbomb! Frederico nods to himself with a grin as the fans boo him. He motions for Colleen to get up, flexing and kissing his biceps as she slowly pulls herself back to her feet. Once she’s back up, Frederico grabs her from behind and lifts her into the submission hold he calls Recking Disgusting Bodies! Jennifer Cassidy checks in with Colleen as Frederico tries to bend her spine across his shoulders, laughing and gloating about how Colleen’s finally getting a workout.

Sharper: “Frederico, countering the Collapser and now trying to fold Colleen in half across those massive shoulders of his!”

Knots: “Well, at least the name of the move is accurate in his mind right now!”

Kayl: “How much longer can Colleen hold on?”

Frederico keeps trying to bend and snap Colleen in half as she refuses to submit, and Frederico makes Jennifer Cassidy’s job harder as he starts walking around the ring while continuing to apply pressure. Eventually, he just drops Colleen off his shoulders and transitions straight into another flexing pose as Colleen rolls towards the ropes, slowly trying to get back to her feet. Frederico motions to the booing fans that he’s ending this now before he grabs Colleen and hoists her up, trying to position her for the Perfection Body Driver, but Colleen grabs the top rope to try and block! Frederico looks irritated as he tries to brute force Colleen off the ropes, but Colleen manages to catch him with a few back elbows to try and stun him so she can slip free! Frederico keeps a hold of her, though, and one of Colleen’s back elbows catches him right as he really puts some strength into trying to jerk her away from the top rope, causing him to fall back and Colleen to twist before landing on his face with The Collapser! Colleen stays seated on Frederico’s face as she reaches back to hook a leg while the referee slides into position.

3!

Jennifer Cassidy calls for the bell as "How Far I'll Go" by Auli'i Cravalho hits again, the fans cheering as Colleen slowly gets off of Frederico, pausing to look down at him in disgust.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, and STILL SCW Television Champion… Colleen MacDonald!”

Sharper: “Colleen managing to twist out of the Perfection Body Driver and turn it into a devastating Collapser for the win, proving to Frederico that she does deserve to succeed him as TV Champion!”

Kayl: “Who knows where things could go next for Colleen if she keeps up this momentum?”

Knots: “Maybe she could share some of that with Polly. You know, like a good friend would!”

Jennifer Cassidy hands Colleen the TV Title belt and raises her arm in victory, with Colleen raising the title high with her other arm. She makes a point to step over Frederico’s body as she moves to exit the ring, leaving Ginny to slide in and check on him while Colleen heads up the ramp, high-fiving the occasional fan as she rests her title over her shoulder and nods to herself over the win.

CHBK is shown backstage with Dean Black, standing outside of CHBK’s office.

Black: “She’s left.”

CHBK: “Polly left? Came in….”

Black: “Juist saying what security told me. She’s no longer in the building.”

CHBK: “I’m sure something is at work there and-“

We then see Angelica Jones walk up to CHBK.

CHBK: “Excuse me.”

CHBK turns to Angelica.

CHBK: “Before you ask for some revenge, we have no options tonight.”

Angelica: “I’ve talked Kim down for now. She had gotten herself going for this. She wanted to do what I couldn’t. And Polly took that from her. But you and I know something else is going on there.”

CHBK: “Yes.”

Angelica: “So what’s going to happen here? Because Kim’s getting tired….Shaun, you…now Frank.”

CHBK: “Her eccentricities tend to make it hard.”

Angelica: “And yet here we are. I know you gave the World Title contendership match. You’ve operated as you felt was right.”

CHBK: “I continue to do that.”

Angelica: “So what’s right?”

CHBK: “I know you’ll get this. But she may need to do something she’s not known for….wait.”

Angelica: “Wait?”

CHBK: “Let some chips fall. She may get an opportunity to get what she wants.”

Angelica: “Cryptic.”

CHBK: “All I can say right now.”

Angelica nods.

Angelica: “Fine…but you know she won’t like that.”

CHBK: “I know.”

Angelica steps back and walks off camera as the scene cuts away.

Clyde Sutter vs. Amelia Nevado

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for one fall!”

The lights in the arena go out as the opening chords of “Unforgiven” by Metallica begins to play. As the song picks up its pace a spotlight shines at the top of the ramp and we see “The Assassin” Clyde Sutter standing there with a sinister grin on his face. He is joined by the beautiful Melinda Braddock. After a few moments of soaking in the crowd reaction, which he seems to enjoy despite their booing, Sutter and Melinda begin to make their slow walk down the ramp. The spotlight follows the sinister sociopath as he approaches the ring.

Phillips: “Introducing first, being accompanied to the ring by Melinda Braddock, currently residing in Charlotte, North Carolina, he is The Assassin... Clyde Sutter!”

They reach the ring area and Melinda kisses him on his cheek. Sutter then foregoes the steel steps as he leaps up from the floor to the ring apron. With the spotlight remaining only on Sutter as one of the few lights in the arena at the moment, Sutter enters the ring and then stands in the center. The sound of Metallica dies down and the lights come back on.

Sharper: “Clyde Sutter got a heck of a draw for Fatal Fortunes a few weeks ago, finding himself with a United States Championship opportunity against La Pequeńa Luz but falling just short in an incredible Ironman Match.”

Kayl: “Yeah, and his first instinct in the wake of that is to harass Luz's wife and goad her into this match, hoping for an easy springboard back to another title shot.”

Knots: “Hey, Amelia accepted the match, so she's got no one to blame but herself if she fails against Clyde here tonight where her wife succeeded.”

“Victorious” by Skillet begins playing as the lights dim a bit. Slowly, Amelia Nevado makes her way onto the stage, putting herself front and center as she folds her hands in front of her, looking like a proper young lady as she looks somewhat solemnly down towards the ring. After a moment of this, La Pequeńa Luz skips out from behind Amelia and stands beside her, giving her a pep talk. As she goes to plant her usual kiss on Amelia's cheek, we see Amelia hold up a hand to stop her, the two of them conversing which has the fans buzzing in confusion before Amelia starts heading down to the ring, her look growing more determined and battle-ready. Luz still follows along, but there's noticeably less pep in her step like there usually is.

Phillips: “Her opponent, being accompanied to the ring by La Pequeńa Luz, from Oxford, England... Amelia Nevado!”

Once they reach ringside, Amelia turns and looks at Luz, who gives her a hopeful and reassuring smile. Amelia sighs but nods in acknowledgment of it before she climbs the ring steps onto the apron, wiping her feet before stepping through the ropes. As the song goes into the chorus, Amelia gives a victorious fist pump that gets the fans roaring again as she takes a moment to soak in the lyrics before removing her robe and mask and handing them off to Luz on the outside, Luz still giving Amelia some support and encouragement.

Knots: “Looks like a little trouble in paradise for the married goody-two-shoes couple.”

Sharper: “Amelia has been very frustrated as of late and it's hard to blame her. Ever since she used her Trios contract and just barely fell short in dethroning Cid Turner for the World Title, she's been throwing herself at any challenge that could help her regain her footing.”

Kayl: “She's easily put on some of the best matches we've seen to close out last year, but victory kept eluding her in all of them. Hopefully, tonight will be the night she can get herself back on track.”

Knots: “If you ask me, she should've just had some more fun with her Fatal Fortunes draw with Gina Glimmer. She and her wife take this all way too seriously sometimes and those twins are just what they need to loosen up!”

Sharper: “It's funny you mention the Glimmers, Jon, considering Luz also won a future Tag Title opportunity for herself and Amelia on top of the successful title defense over Clyde, so Amelia could have the chance to get some payback down the line if the Glimmers survive their title defense later tonight.”

Referee Steve Hollinsworth signals for the bell and Amelia and Clyde begin circling one another. As they both look for an opening to make the first move, Clyde suddenly turns his attention to Luz out on the floor, motioning that her title will be around his waist at some point. Seeing Clyde’s focus shifted to her wife, Amelia frowns and rushes in, but Clyde grins as Amelia took the bait, sidestepping her and sending her into the corner before he elbows her in the jaw, using his full body weight to pin her in the corner! Clyde continues looking down at Luz as he grinds his elbow into the side of Amelia’s jaw and Hollinsworth moves in to call for a break.

Clyde backs off, raising his arms up and acting innocent before he boots Amelia in the gut as she starts to recover. He grabs Amelia’s arm and irish whips her with all his strength across the ring, Amelia’s back crashing against the turnbuckles before she falls to the mat, clutching at her back. Melinda can’t resist leaning in from out on the floor in that corner, gloating to Amelia that she doesn’t stand a chance against Clyde.

Knots: “Hook, line and sinker! Clyde’s already dominating, just as fate decreed!”

Sharper: “Clyde feigning distraction to lure Amelia in, and you know he’s just relishing this.”

Kayl: “We’ve seen hints of all the attention on Luz lately starting to maybe become a sore spot for Amelia. Clyde better be careful, though… Amelia is absolutely a World Champion in the making and I’m not afraid to go on record saying that right here and now.”

Clyde looks at Luz once more, grinning at her and almost daring her to come in and save her wife. Luz just ignores him and calls out to Amelia, slamming her hands against the apron to try and motivate her. Clyde slowly saunters over as Amelia starts to get up, glancing to Melinda now as the two nod to one another. He pulls Amelia in and hoists her up, perhaps thinking buckle bomb as he moves towards the corner, but he stops dead in his tracks as Amelia grabs one of his arms and starts bending the wrist back, employing some joint manipulation to get out of this tight spot as she starts twisting and bending Clyde’s fingers as well! Clyde growls audibly as he still tries to move towards the corner for the buckle bomb, but Amelia’s thrown him off so much that when he tries to toss her, she ends up tumbling over the top rope instead, hanging onto Clyde’s arm for a rope-hung armbar!

Amelia lets go as Clyde stumbles back, clutching at his arm and wrist and trying to shake some feeling back into it. She tumbles to her feet on the floor, shooting Melinda a warning glance as she pulls herself back up on the apron. Clyde tries to close in, but Amelia slingshots herself over the top rope into a twisting european uppercut that floors Clyde! She dives into a cover.

1!

2!

Clyde kicks out right at the count of two!

Sharper: “Amelia managing to escape Clyde’s clutches with some joint manipulation.”

Kayl: “She’s a master of that old school european catch wrestling style. So many different ways she can tie you up if you start getting too comfortable in the ring with her.”

Knots: “Just don’t forget that a man of Clyde’s size and strength only really needs one good arm to throw Amelia around with!”

Luz looks a little concerned but keeps cheering her wife on as Amelia pauses for a moment, taking a deep breath to try and maintain her composure. Clyde climbs back to his feet and turns to grab Amelia, but she ducks his grasp and tries to trip him up into a double leg takedown, but Clyde’s size allows him to lower his base to block this before he clubs her across the back! Amelia drops to a knee as Clyde looms over her before grabbing her by the hair, but she manages to twist free and trips him up with a drop toe hold! Clyde hits the mat and Amelia wastes no time in applying a heel hook! She cranks on Clyde’s leg, causing him to growl in pain as the fans cheer for Clyde to tap. Steve Hollinsworth checks with Clyde, but he refuses to submit even as Amelia wrenches even more on his leg.

Sharper: “Amelia now, utilizing a heel hook, trying to make Clyde tap!”

Kayl: “Sound strategy on her part. You take out the legs of the big man, you make it harder for him to use that power against you!”

Knots: “But how long can she hold it until she gets too frustrated that Clyde’s just not tapping?”

Clyde starts pulling himself towards the ropes, gritting his teeth and still refusing to submit even as Amelia keeps applying pressure on his leg. After a moment, Clyde reaches out and finally grabs the bottom rope!

1!

2!

Amelia releases the heel hook and rolls away from Clyde, nodding to herself as she seems to be starting to get comfortable again. There’s even a flicker of a smirk on her lips at the overly-excited cry of “Let’s go Ames!” from Luz in her corner. Clyde starts to pull himself up using the ropes and Amelia moves in to press the advantage, but Clyde wraps his arms around her waist and falls back, propelling her through the ropes and out to the floor! Clyde manages to get back to his feet as he tries to go out after her, but Hollinsworth cuts him off, trying to get him to stay in the ring so he can perform a countout. While Hollinsworth is distracted, though, Amelia starts getting up on the outside only for Melinda to catch her with a shining wizard!

Sharper: “Clyde managing to buy himself not only some extra recovery time, but a chance for Melinda to get involved!”

Knots: “It’s only legal if the referee sees it, Adam, and Amelia needs a reminder of just how inferior she is to the Braddock name… even if the name Braddock is just as terrible. I mean, seriously, it’s just as bad and worthless a family name as Jones.”

Kayl: “Jon’s blatant bootlicking aside, I think Clyde and Melinda are growing desperate to get anything going in their favor. After all, Melinda didn’t resort to getting involved against Luz a few weeks ago!”

Melinda pulls Amelia up and rolls her into the ring. We see Luz start moving around the ring, pointing at Melinda as the two exchange words while Hollinsworth realizes Amelia’s back in the ring before he questions Melinda about what’s going on out on the floor. As Melinda plays innocent, much to Luz’s frustration, Clyde hauls Amelia to her feet and hoists her up for a vertical suplex, stalling to show off his strength as the fans boo. Clyde does wobble and almost lose his footing a few times, clearly still feeling the effects of Amelia’s heel hook, but he does finally drop her into the suplex with authority! He floats over into the cover.

1!

2!

Amelia kicks out! Clyde shrugs this off fairly quickly as he grabs her and applies a fujiwara armbar! Amelia grits her teeth, refusing as Hollinsworth checks to see if she submits while Clyde keeps torquing on her arm, moving to try and sit most of his body weight on the ball of her shoulder.

Sharper: “Clyde now, busting out an armbar of his own, trying to take advantage of Melinda’s attack behind the referee’s back.”

Knots: “Clyde picking up on some of that Braddock wrestling technique. Maybe soon we’ll have a Braddock family member who’s actually worth watching!”

Kayl: “Amelia’s in a lot of trouble here. Clyde using his size to his advantage, and wrestling knowledge can only do so much against someone so much bigger and stronger than you.”

Amelia reaches out with her leg, trying to get it to the bottom rope as Clyde keeps wrenching on her arm. Amelia reaches out again and her foot gets close, but Melinda grabs the bottom rope and pulls it farther away! That gets Hollinsworth to warn her about interfering and threatening to eject her from ringside. As Melinda pleads her innocence, Amelia manages to twist her body and actually frees herself from the fujiwara armbar by rolling Clyde up in a schoolgirl pin! Hollinsworth, unfortunately, is still distracted by Melinda, leading to no count being made before Clyde kicks out. Amelia looks up and sees what’s happening, the frustration visible on her face as she turns to Clyde just in time for him to lift her up and plant her with a huge spinebuster! Melinda finally stops distracting Hollinsworth just in time for Clyde to make the cover.

1!

2!

Amelia gets a shoulder up! Clyde looks like he’s starting to lose his cool a bit as even Melinda looks annoyed now, but not as annoyed as Luz from Amelia’s corner at the constant interference.

Sharper: “This is getting ridiculous now. I don’t think I’ve ever seen Melinda get involved this much in one of Clyde’s matches, not that he needs the advantage!”

Knots: “Look, sometimes when fate deals you a crappy hand, you just have to throw that hand out and search the deck for one that’s much better!”

Kayl: “I wouldn’t be surprised at this point if you’ve racked up some gambling debt while you’ve been on the shelf, Jon.”

Clyde slowly rises and takes a few steps back, measuring Amelia as she struggles to get to her feet. He kicks his leg a bit, trying to shake some feeling back into it as Amelia finally makes it back to her feet. She staggers around before turning as Clyde charges her for a big boot, but Amelia catches his foot before twisting him into a nasty-looking dragon screw! Clyde cries out in agony as the fans are on their feet again. Amelia keeps a hold of Clyde’s ankle, using it as leverage to drag him back to his feet so she can hit a second dragon screw! Clyde grits his teeth, pounding a fist into the mat as Amelia still doesn’t let go of his leg, instead twisting the other way now with a grounded dragon screw, earning an audible reaction from the fans as Clyde’s cries of anguish can be heard even over their cheers.

Sharper: “Amelia, sticking with the leg as she utilizes a painful series of dragon screws, and Clyde maybe starting to regret the fight he’s picked here tonight now.”

Knots: “Clyde doesn’t regret picking fights! This is just… fate! Yeah, that’s it, fate’s throwing Amelia a bone right now!”

Kayl: “Yeah, and that bone is Clyde’s entire leg, because Amelia has been relentless in targeting it!”

Clyde slowly turns over onto his belly, trying to crawl away from Amelia, but she still has his ankle and proceeds to grapevine it into an ankle lock! There’s a clear fury on Amelia’s face as she applies more torque to the ankle, causing Clyde to bite his hand to muffle any cries of pain and keep him from thinking about tapping out. Steve Hollinsworth checks in with him, but Clyde still refuses as he crawls towards the ropes. After an agonizing few moments, he does manage to grab the bottom rope! Amelia immediately breaks the hold and rolls away as Clyde clutches at his leg, using the bottom rope to roll himself out to the floor. He leans against the apron, trying to get his bearings, before he realizes Luz is standing not too far away from him. She backs off, wanting this match to stay clean, as Clyde looks like he’s about to limp after her, but he turns just in time to see Amelia running off the ropes and sailing through for a topé suicida, but he manages to grab her by the throat to block it before lifting her up into a chokeslam on the ring apron!

Knots: “She fell for it again!”

Sharper: “I don’t know if Clyde was trying to bait her by focusing on Luz out here at ringside or if Amelia just gave him a moment too long before pressing the advantage, but Amelia did not have a pleasant landing on the apron!”

Kayl: “Clyde’s not looking so hot either with how much Amelia’s been targeting his leg. That chokeslam may have been pure adrenaline coursing through his veins… but how long can he run with it?”

Amelia lies on the apron, groaning in pain as Luz calls out to her, trying to will her wife back into this match. She ends up rolling back into the ring as Clyde lingers out on the floor for a moment, with Steve Hollinsworth finally starting his count. (1) Clyde goes to lean against the barricade, trying to stretch out his leg. (2) Clyde smacks his leg, trying to get circulation going in it once more. (3) He finally limps over to the ring and slides back in as Amelia is slowly trying to pull herself back to her feet. Once she’s up, she turns and Clyde grabs her by the throat again, perhaps thinking another chokeslam, but Amelia suddenly blasts him with a european uppercut, followed by another, and another! Clyde staggers back against the ropes as Amelia continues her relentless barrage of european uppercuts. Hollinsworth warns Amelia to get Clyde off the ropes, and she complies by irish whipping him across the ring, but whatever she may have been thinking is thwarted as Clyde rebounds and suddenly turns her inside-out with a clothesline from hell! It takes him a moment to crawl over as his leg is still clearly bothering him, but he does manage to make the cover.

1!

2!

Amelia gets a shoulder up!

Sharper: “Amelia almost got her damn head taken off by that vicious clothesline, and she still kicked out!”

Knots: “Why can’t she just accept her inevitable fate before Clyde really hurts her!?”

Kayl: “Amelia’s a fighter, and this is just showing how badly she wants this win here tonight, no matter what kind of hell she has to endure to get there!”

Melinda is pacing back and forth out on the floor now, looking irritated that Amelia won’t fall that easily to Clyde. Clyde looks furious now as he grabs Amelia by the hair, hauling her to her feet before he lifts her above his head in a gorilla press, perhaps thinking Cruciform Slam, but as soon as he’s got her fully above his head, his leg starts to buckle under him! He drops Amelia, just barely managing to stay on his feet, but Amelia lands on hers and suddenly dives in with a chop block from behind to that leg! Clyde drops as Amelia takes a moment to try and keep her composure, glancing over to Luz who nods to her. She finally smiles and nods back before she pulls Clyde back and starts hooking his arms and legs, applying The Abomination! The fans are roaring and Clyde is screaming in agony as his body is bent in ways it was probably never designed to bend, especially the leg Amelia’s been focusing on for most of this match thus far. Steve Hollinsworth checks in with Clyde, but he adamantly refuses to submit.

Sharper: “Amelia with The Abomination applied and Clyde Sutter is in deep trouble!”

Kayl: “Both arms, both legs, and Clyde’s learning he may be more flexible than he ever thought possible!”

Knots: “Well… at least he and Melinda will have some new ideas to explore the next time they’re in the bedroom maybe!”

Amelia continues applying immense pressure with The Abomination as Clyde still refuses to submit. It’s at this point that Melinda hops up onto the apron, grabbing Hollinsworth’s attention again as he demands that she get down. After a moment, Amelia releases The Abomination and aggressively rises to her feet, having had enough of Melinda getting involved as she storms over, only for Melinda to finally take the hint and hop back down to the floor, though as she starts to move around the ring, she’s almost goading Amelia to follow her. As she rounds the turnbuckle, though, she stops dead in her tracks as Luz starts to step up to her, looking ready to throw down despite her own match later tonight. Amelia stands there seething for a moment before she takes a deep breath to try and calm down, turning her attention back to Clyde… right as he manages to catch her with the Assassination!

Sharper: “Melinda, once again causing a distraction to save Clyde from yet another loss to The Light In The Darkness, and Clyde takes advantage with the Assassination!”

Kayl: “But he’s unable to follow up and now both athletes are down!”

Knots: “Clyde won’t be down for long, not when fate is on his side!”

Clyde rolls away from Amelia, slowly trying to pull himself back to his feet, but it’s clear his leg is giving him a lot of trouble now. Melinda starts moving back to Clyde’s corner as she and Luz both try to rally their respective loves, though the fans are more keen in joining Luz to try and will Amelia back to her feet. As Amelia starts to stir, Clyde finally pulls himself to his feet and signals that it’s time to end this, clearly having had enough. He limps over and grabs Amelia, pulling her into position for a powerbomb. He starts to lift her, perhaps thinking Judge, Jury, & Execution, but while he gets Amelia’s feet off the mat, he’s unable to fully lift her before he has to drop her because of his leg. He takes a moment to adjust, trying to stretch his leg out a bit more before he goes for it again, managing to lift Amelia up this time for the powerbomb, but his leg buckles under him! Clyde tosses Amelia behind him as he drops to a knee, growling in agony as he clutches at his leg. Amelia, however, lands on her feet and quickly pivots around, grabbing Clyde from behind and pulling him back into the Blight Choke!

Sharper: “Blight Choke! Amelia’s got the Blight Choke locked in!”

Kayl: “This may be all she wrote for Clyde!”

Knots: “No! This isn’t what fate said was supposed to happen tonight!”

Amelia cranks back on the Blight Choke, trying to drain the life out of Clyde and finally make him submit as Luz and the fans cheer her on, Luz slamming her hands on the mat as the fans use that rhythm for a “Tap, Clyde, Tap!” chant. Hollinsworth checks in with him, and Clyde still refuses as he tries very slowly to pull himself towards the ropes, but Amelia is not having it this time as she shifts her body weight in any way she can, refusing to let Clyde make any progress! Clyde attempts to roll into a position where he can try to get his feet under him, but his leg refuses to allow for any weight to be put on it and he remains on the mat! As Amelia cranks back on the hold, she frees one of her legs from the bodyscissors she has applied and begins violently slamming the heel of her boot into Clyde’s knee and thigh over and over again! While the fans are cheering louder and louder with each blow, Luz pauses in her cheering as she looks at her wife in shock over the very aggressive and desperate tactic. Between having his oxygen cut off and the excruciating pain tearing through his leg now, we see Clyde look like he’s starting to fade. Before Hollinsworth can move in to check, however, Melinda suddenly slides into the ring and starts stomping on Amelia! While she succeeds in breaking the hold, this also causes Steve Hollinworth to turn and call for the bell!

Sharper: “Amelia had Clyde Sutter beat with the Blight Choke, and Melinda Braddock refusing to see him go out like that!”

Knots: “Maybe she did inherit some Braddock pride from Glory that refuses to accept someone like Amelia being a better wrestler even over someone who’s a Braddock by proxy!”

Kayl: “And maybe Melinda’s about to learn she should’ve kept her nose out of this match!”

Melinda stomps away at Amelia a few more times as the fans erupt in boos, but those boos quickly turn to cheers as Luz slides into the ring and starts battering Melinda with forearm strikes to back her off of her wife! Melinda manages to shove Luz off of her, but before she can retaliate, Amelia is back to her feet and boots Melinda in the gut. She starts to hook her for the Eye-Opener, but Melinda manages to twist out of it and immediately bails from the ring! She rushes around to collect Clyde, who has rolled out onto the apron, and begins slowly helping him to the back as he’s limping and clearly half-conscious. Amelia moves over to the ropes, leaning on them as she stares at Melinda helping Clyde retreat up the ramp with wide eyes.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, as a result of a disqualification… Amelia Nevado!”

“Victorious” by Skillet hits the speakers again, but Amelia certainly doesn’t feel victorious as she smacks the top rope and starts pacing around the ring, looking even more frustrated than before.

Knots: “I don’t get why she’s so upset. She got the win she needed so badly!”

Sharper: “This is hardly how she wanted to win this match and you know it, Jon. She was hoping for a proper victory, something to really make a statement about finally getting back on track, and she almost had it with her signature submission hold.”

Kayl: “She was getting real aggressive with it at the end there, to an almost frightening degree I don’t think I’ve ever seen out of her. She definitely had Clyde dead to rights, and I doubt Melinda robbing her of a proper submission win over Sutter here tonight is going to help things in her mind.”

Amelia continues pacing around the ring, running her hands through her hair. Luz is moving with her, trying to console her, but it’s clear by the aggravated-looking response Amelia gives that she’s just not in the mood for it, frustrated that she was robbed of a proper win to finally bounce back and build momentum on. That doesn’t stop Luz from letting her try to get it out of her system, though, doing her best to help her wife even if this isn’t what either one of them would’ve preferred to happen.

We open up to see a speedometer starting to climb as an engine revs. We cut to shots of a car speeding past several high-risers before we see the car turn and speed down another street. It continues to drive before we cut to closer up shots as the car weaves through some traffic and then turns down one street before continuing to drive at high speeds, tires squealing and screeching, before it takes another turn and then stops before we see a drone shot, showing the car arriving outside of Ford Field. It turns and starts to go down into a concrete tunnel, screeching through the tunnel and picking up speed before turning and we then see people running out of the way.

Voice: “Run! RUN!”

We see CHBK moving out of the way, along with Lucas Knight and Dean Black as we see the car then keep driving before crashing through a stage and banner with Rise to Greatness XXIII on it. The car finally comes to a stop. We then see reporters and photographers looking on before the window rolls down and we see Meghan Strader stick her head out.

Strader: “Sorry! Uh I got a bit carried away!”

CHBK just looks at her as the Rise to Greatness logo comes up on the screen. Sirens begin to be heard in the background.

Rise to Greatness XXIII

July 26, 2026

Detroit, Michigan

Fade to black.

Gavin Taylor vs. Reno Dumont

Suddenly the lights in the arena go out completely as the sounds of sirens and explosions going off slowly start to echo throughout the entire arena for a few seconds, slowly and steadily building up into a crescendo as the sounds of combat explodes into a powerful baseline as the video walls explode into a video package of the former “One Man Crime Spree” as “Indestructible” by Disturbed begins to play.

Another mission, the powers have called me away
Another time to carry the colors again
My motivation, an oath I've sworn to defend
To win the honor of coming back home again

At that point the lights in the arena flare back to life as the “Blackheart” Wil Pierce steps out onto the entrance way with a broad grin on his face before a moment later as the man himself, Reno Dumont, comes walking out slowly onto the entrance way, he points to the crowds to either side of the arena before he suddenly throws his arms out to his sides and his head back as the crowds cheers.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall with a thirty minute time limit. Introducing first, being escorted to the ring by the “Blackheart” Wil Pierce, he is the Bastard Mastermind of the Rogue Horsemen, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, he is the Walking Weapon Himself, the Ronin, Reno Dumont!”

No explanation will matter after we begin
Unlock the dark destroyer that's buried within
My true vocation, and now my unfortunate friend
You will discover a war you're unable to win

Reno then brings his hands up and forward into finger guns for a moment before he “pulls the triggers” on them before he slowly makes his way down to the ring, a look of pure and ruthless determination on his bearded face as he eventually makes his way down to the ring where he climbs the stairs and then slowly wipes his feet off on the apron before stepping into the ring proper, Wil covering his back at every step.

Reno looks very determined as he moved to the center of the ring for a moment to look out about the crowds before he moves over to his corner of the ring, quickly yanking off his ring coat before he moves to squat down in the corner, carefully waiting for his opponent to arrive.

Sharper: “Reno Dumont getting the match he wanted. He’s wanted to get his hands on Gavin Taylor since November when Gavin and his associates injured Chris Dumont his son.”

Knots: “Hey! He went a bit too far. Who hasn’t when they’re trying to embark on a Crusade?!”

Kayl: “That’s one way to look at it. The other is that he injured Chris Dumont!”

Sharper: “I know you don’t have much love lost for Chris.”

Knots: “You think?!”

The lights around the arena begin to flicker in red, white, and blue as "Fortunate Son" by CCR starts to play over the arena. "All Star" Gavin Taylor steps out from behind the curtain onto the top of the ramp, flanked by his All-Star Security of Jack and Karl Barker, Religious Wright, and Mr. Black. As he stands in place, posing with his arms outstretched, the chorus of the song plays.

Some folks are born made to wave the flag
Hoo, they're red, white and blue
And when the band plays "Hail to the chief"
Ooh, they point the cannon at you, Lord

It ain't me, it ain't me
I ain't no senator's son, son
It ain't me, it ain't me
I ain't no furtunate one, no

Gavin begins to walk down the ramp with swagger, shaking hands of the men, kissing the hands of the women, and even patting a few kids on the head. He smirks as he gets to the ring, pulling himself to the apron. He hangs out off the ring while holding onto the top rope. Reno Dumont just glares right at him.

Phillips: “His opponent, accompanied by his All-Star Secret Service, from Flagstaff, Arizona, he is the All Star, Gavin Taylor!”

Some folks are born silver spoon in hand
Lord, don't they help themselves, Lord?
But when the taxman come to the door
Lord, the house lookin' like a rummage sale, yeah

Gavin pulls himself through the ropes and steps onto the second ropes on the opposite side of the ring from the ramp. He opens his jersey, sliding it off his shoulders as he stretches his arms out.

It ain't me, it ain't me
I ain't no millionaire's son, no, no
It ain't me, it ain't me
I ain't no fortunate one, no

Turning around, he bounces back off the ropes. Reno just remains still, watching Gavin as Gavin keeps bouncing.

Sharper: “Gavin Taylor already has spewed some of his…I don’t know what you want to call it.”

Kayl: “Drivel? Insanity? Stupidity? Pablum?”

Knots: “You need to dumb it down more, Devon. Most people at home don’t know what those words mean!”

Gavin then turns and runs at Reno, but Reno blocks a hard right and then blasts Gavin with a hard right of his own. The crowd erupts. Gavin hits the mat and Religious Wright rolls into the ring. Reno sidesteps and throws him up and over the top rope. Wright lands on the floor. He then gets up only for Wil Pierce to kick him in the ribs as he gets up. He then hoists him up and holds him up before then hitting a running Final Vent at Karl and Jack Barker who run around to help. He takes all three down. Pierce then stands at ringside as Reno grabs Gavin and nails him again. He hits the mat. Mr. Black dabs his forehead with a handkerchief, concerned. Gavin crawls to the ropes and Reno runs over and nails him with a hard right and then hammers away with repeated hard right hands. Gavin’s head snaps back with each one as the official, Steven Hollinsworth, calls for a break.

Reno steps back and snaps at the official. Gavin winces, holding his head.

Sharper: “Dumont teeing off on Gavin Taylor!”

Kayl: “Be careful. I know he wants his revenge, but if he wants more of it, he’ll need to play within the rules!”

Knots: “He’s a future World Title contender! Come on! Treat him with respect!”

Reno turns back to Gavin and Gavin then grabs him and spins him into the corner. Gavin quickly chops him. The crowd woos, but Reno no sells. He starts to walk out as Gavin backs up, immediately pleading. He then falls to his knees and cups his hands before Reno nails him with a hard right. Gavin rolls through and up to his feet. He gets up and Reno nails him again. He then grabs Gavin and whips him across the ring. Gavin bounces off and Reno launches him with a back drop. Gavin rolls over and gets back up and runs to Reno, who catches him and hits a standing uranage slam. Gavin rolls over and moves to the ropes. He starts to try and crawl outside as Reno then grabs him by the foot. Gavin smacks the mat hard, trying to grab one anything and do anything to stop Reno from dragging him back in.

Sharper: “The ASSS is down! Gavin is practically alone.”

Knots: “Come on Mr. Black! Do something!”

Kayl: “I don’t know if he has an answer! Last time, he attacked Reno from behind. Wil Pierce is ready to strike!”

Reno drags Gavin back to the middle of the ring. Gavin tries to kick him off, but Reno holds on and then lunges and drives a forearm to the jaw of Gavin. Gavin turns and Reno nails him with a hard right and then another and another and another, right to the forehead. Gavin turns and rolls over, trying to get away. He then crawls to the corner where we see Reno has lacerated Gavin over the eye, blood coming down his face. Gavin looks up and Reno blasts him again with a hard right. Gavin drops to the mat.

Sharper: “Reno Dumont has bloodied Gavin Taylor with his damn fists!”

Knots: “This isn’t MMA!”

Kayl: “May as well be now! Maybe Gavin needs to employ a cut man given his track record!”

Gavin reaches around and Reno blasts him again. Gavin drops. Reno grabs him again and nails him again and again and again. Hollinsworth again calls for the break.

Reno turns and snaps at Hollinsworth. He swats at him and Hollinsworth staggers back only for Reno to turn and Gavin kicks Reno with the Better Buzzer Beater. Reno turns and drops to the mat, grimacing in pain while holding himself. Gavin leans back, taking in deep breaths and while looking a bit relieved. Hollinsworth turns, confused, before warning Gavin.

Sharper: “And a blatant low blow, but Reno Dumont focused on his efforts, Hollinsworth briefly knocked away.”

Knots: “Because these Dumonts are violent!”

Kayl: “And right now, Reno Dumont in a lot of pain.”

Knots: “That’s what happens when someone hoofs you in the balls.”

Gavin then walks over and grabs Reno and pulls him up and nails him with a hard right. Reno staggers and falls to a knee. He gets up and Gavin knees him in the ribs before then hooking him up and hitting a snap suplex. He turns and gets up and hits an elbow drop before jumping up and hitting a leg drop. He turns and goes for the lateral press.

Reno kicks out. Gavin gets up and cups his ear as he looks at the crowd. Reno turns, annoyed, and starts to get up, only for Gavin to run at him and hit a basement dropkick. Reno falls back, rolling over, holding his face. Pierce looks on as Reno moves to the ropes. He starts to get up and Gavin grabs him and just places him on the ropes and starts to blatantly choke him, pushing him down on the middle rope.

Gavin steps off and walks around the ring. He then turns around and Reno starts to get up and Gavin hits a spinning back kick to the ribs before then grabbing Reno. He hits a fisherman’s suplex into a bridge.

1!

2!

Reno kicks out. Gavin turns and then walks over and rakes his face with his boot. Reno turns around. He starts to get up and Gavin grabs him and pulls him up. He nails him with a forearm shiver. He then smirks before going to whip him into the ropes, but Reno spins through and sends Gavin in. The crowd roars as Gavin jumps up, but Reno catches him and then turns and places Gavin’s legs on the top rope. Gavin shakes his head no and Reno grabs his head and then hits a rope-hung DDT. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “Reno caught him! Gavin got too cocky!”

Kayl: “Him? Nah! That would never happen!”

Sharper: “And Reno Dumont back to the assault!”

Reno turns and dives onto Gavin and starts to hammer away on him with repeated right hands. Gavin pushes away as he crawls to the ropes. He winces as he gets up and turns around to Reno who blasts him with a hard right. Gavin hits the mat. He gets back up and Reno nails him with another hard right. Gavin drops and then he gets up as Reno runs into the ropes, bounces off and hits the Baddest Kick in the World. Gavin hits the mat. He rolls to his side, blood starting to pool along his face and under it as the cut has been opened up more.

Sharper: “And that boot just caught that cut and Gavin Taylor bleeding more.”

Kayl: “Has no one to blame but himself.”

Knots: “I mean he can try!”

Sharper: “He went after Dumont. He went after the Foundation. He’s called them every name.”

Knots: “Raging Reno seems accurate tonight!”

Reno turns as Gavin rolls over and Reno pulls him up by his hair and then nails him with a forearm shot across the face and then another and another. He then pulls him up and grabs his leg before hitting the Jacob’s Ladder. Gavin rolls over and looks around. He starts to get up as Reno then hoists him onto his shoulders and then hits the Red Ink. Reno then stands up and turns and looks Gavin. Gavin rolls over, reaching out. We see Karl and Jack Barker, who both are now back up, reaching out. Religious Wright leans against the barricade as Wil Pierce watches them. Reno walks over and grabs him again. He then pulls him up and then clubs him in the shoulder. Gavin staggers and Reno then grabs him and goes for another back suplex, but this time, Gavin backflips through. He falls to the ropes. Reno then turns and runs at him and goes for a clothesline, but Gavin pulls on the top rope and Reno goes up and over the top rope to the floor. Gavin rolls over and turns to his knees. He looks up at the crowd, holding his fist in the air as blood covers the left side of his face.

Sharper: “Gavin sidesteps Reno. Reno to the floor!”

Kayl: “He’s already celebrating. I wouldn’t be doing that!”

Sharper: “Bloodied and Reno now just annoyed as Gavin fooled him there.”

Gavin gets up as Reno pulls up on the apron, but Gavin runs over and nails him with a knee to the ribs. He then grabs Reno, pulling him in and hitting the Cubic Zirconium Cutter. The crowd ohs. Gavin rolls over as Reno rolls to the mat. He turns and stirs. Reno grimaces and fights up to his feet, but walks right into a Dependable Roundhouse from Gavin. Reno drops to the mat. Gavin goes for the pin.

Reno gets his shoulder up. Gavin looks up and then turns and looks around. He then gets up and stomps Reno in the face. Reno rolls over and Gavin stomps him again. Gavin steps off and walks around the ring.

Sharper: “Gavin steps off. Trying to just keep Reno Dumont down.”

Knots: “Safest place for him. The man has almost serial killer like rage!”

Reno starts to pull himself up and Gavin runs over and hits a jumping dropkick. The crowd ohs. Reno staggers out and Gavin crawls out and sees this. He runs into the ropes, bouncing off and hitting the Gavin Taylor Lariat!”

Knots: “Gavin! Taylor! Lariat!”

The crowd roars as Gavin looks around. He smiles. He then turns and sees Reno slowly rolling over. Gavin smirks before just shaking his head. He then points to himself before waiting as Reno gets back up to his feet. Gavin runs into the ropes. He bounces off and goes for a second Gavin Taylor Lariat, but Reno, this time, ducks and runs forward. Gavin stops and turns around as Reno bounces off and hits a vicious lariat of his own, causing Gavin to twist in the air before landing. The crowd erupts.

Sharper: “Oh my! Oh my, what a lariat!”

Kayl: “Gavin sent into next week!”

Reno then turns and grabs him and pulls him up. He then hoists him up onto his shoulder. He spins him out into the Thrill of the Hunt. The crowd ohs as Reno goes for the pin.

2!

Gavin shoots his shoulder up and rolls over. Reno looks at him, almost surprised. He then nods before looking down at him and stomping him in the head. Gavin rolls over. The Barkers look on as Mr. Black dabs his forehead again with the handkerchief. Reno then grabs Gavin and drags him back up. He then hooks him up. He looks around and Reno hoists him up, but Gavin slides through and lands behind Reno. Reno turns around and Gavin hits the Desperation Buzzer Beater. Gavin rolls away as Reno turns to his side.

Sharper: “Gavin counters again. Finding some way to avoid the worst! Reno was thinking about that Death Warrant!”

Knots: “He may have signed it, but Gavin isn’t going to accept it!”

Gavin turns and looks around before turning and looking at Mr. Black. Black leans over and says something to him. Gavin just smiles and nods. The camera moves in to try and pick up their scheming.

Black: “Come on champ. We have what we need.”

Gavin: “Okay. Put in the Big Best All-Star Quality Plan!”

Gavin starts to get up and turns and Reno Dumont grabs him and hoists him up and hits the Death Warrant! The crowd erupts. Dumont turns and we then see the official pulled out of the ring by Mr. Black. Reno covers Gavin. The crowd starts to count, although some cheer.

Sharper: “Come on! One! Two! Mr. Black pulling the official out! This match is over!”

Kayl: “Is this what this plan is?!”

Reno Dumont looks around as Gavin remains down. We then see Reno look up as then Karl and Jack Barker climb up onto the apron. Religious Wright runs past Mr. Black as Wil Pierce steps up and boots him in the face. Karl and Jack run over and start to attack Reno. Reno covers up as he moves to the corner. The crowd looks on before Wil Pierce pulls himself onto the apron. Hollinsworth rolls over on the floor in pain as we see Reno nailing Karl with a hard right and then Jack. Pierce enters and grabs Jack and knees him in the ribs and runs him out of the ring. Gavin rolls over as we then see another official running down to the ring.

Sharper: “Chaos again taking place here! This just seems to be par for the course with Gavin Taylor and his little movement!”

Kayl: “Here comes another official!”

Sharper: “I’ve never seen him before in my life!”

Knots: “What?! Come on Adam. I leave and you stop meeting everyone. For shame! That’s Tim!”

Sharper: “Tim who?”

Knots: “Hey! It’s not my job to carry your ass!”

This official runs down to the ring as Reno throws Karl out of the ring, but Mr. Black reaches in and pulls Gavin out of the ring as official “Tim” slides into the ring. Hollinsworth starts to get up and this official calls for the bell. Hollinsworth looks up as he even looks confused as the bell sounds. The official heads to the ropes and leans through and Hollinsworth heads over.

“Tim”: “Throw it out. Double DQ-“

Hollinsworth: “Excuse me? Who are you? No…I’m done. Gavin’s disqualified!”

“Tim”: “Wait…well…okay…”

“Tim” steps back as Hollinsworth continues to look confused before turning to Phillips.

Sharper: “Hollinsworth saw everything from the floor.”

Kayl: “Yeah. He was just trying to get his bearings. But then this other official-“

Knots: “Tim!”

Sharper: “Oh God damn it, Jon. What the hell is going on here?!”

Phillips: “As a result of a disqualification, you winner for this match, Reno Dumont!”

The crowd roars as Reno looks around as Gavin, half out of it, is dragged around the ring as Wright and Black carry him around the ring.

Sharper: “Disqualification or not, Gavin Taylor got his ass kicked by Reno Dumont! Dumont signed his death warrant and had the pin!”

Kayl: “But this was part of some plan by Gavin still…What the hell was that all about?!”

Wright and Black continue to drag Gavin around the ring to the ramp. They start to drag him up the rampway as Reno Dumont throws his arms up in the air. The crowd erupts as Reno looks around. Pierce paces around the ring, keeping guard, as Reno turns and looks at the mat, Gavin’s blood all over it, as the scene slowly cuts away.

We open up backstage to see Glory Braddock walking over to CHBK in his office.

Glory: “Alex, can we speak?”

CHBK: “Of course.”

Glory: “First, if you need any help with the…circumstances-“

CHBK: “Don’t worry about that.”

Glory: “I’ve had my fair share of challenges. And I have more experience here than you do.”

CHBK: “Thanks, but not necessary.”

Glory: “Fair enough…I’m sure you heard Kemal’s challenge to me?”

CHBK: “I did. You want him?”

Glory: “Yes. While I’d rather be in that ring tonight, I get it with the tournament, but I’d like Kemal…but something else….Retribution is in London. I’m not sitting on the sidelines that night.”

CHBK: “Don’t worry, Glory. In London…I have plans to make it a night many people won’t forget.”

Glory nods as we cut away.

Damon Cage vs. La Pequena Luz

SCW United States Championship

“Heart of A Lion” by Kid Cudi echoes throughout the arena. With clips of his early years in SCW and obtaining accolades in Japan playing on the big screen, the cameras zoom to the top of the stage, where Damon Cage steps out from behind the curtain, carrying a bottle of water.

Phillips: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is for the SCW United States Championship! Introducing first, weighing at 220 pounds, hailing from Miami, Florida…he is…Damon! Cage!”

Damon reaches the ring and downs some water before throwing his head back and his fists into the air, as he spits out the water, earning a reaction from the crowd. He dumps the rest of the water onto his head and face, before beating his chest and roaring. Damon then runs and slides into the ring under the bottom rope, where he goes into one of the corners and waits for the match to begin.

“Believe In Tomorrow” by Sunflower’s Garden begins to play as bright white lights begin flickering on and off on the stage in rhythm with the music. La Pequeńa Luz, carrying the SCW United States Championship, skips out onto the stage with the kind of smile that could light up an entire room all on its own plastered to her face, dancing a bit to her theme song and waving her arms in an attempt to get the crowd pumped up, drawing cheers. As she looks down towards the ring, the smile fades as something seems to flicker through her mind, but she’s snapped out of the trance as Amelia Nevado slowly makes her way out, placing a comforting hand on Luz’s shoulder.

Phillips: “And now, on her way to the ring, from Tulancingo, Hidalgo, Mexico, accompanied by Amelia Nevado, she is the SCW United States Champion, La Pequena Luz!”

With a quick kiss to her cheek, Luz’s smile returns as the two proceed to lock hands before heading down to the ring, Amelia trying her best to keep up with Luz’s energetic skipping. Once they reach ringside, Luz pulls Amelia into a brief but passionate kiss before letting her go as she hops up onto the apron, grabbing the top rope before vaulting herself into a somersault into the ring, landing on her feet. Luz begins skipping around the ring, motioning once more for the fans to make some noise as they answer this call while Amelia takes her place in Luz’s corner on the floor, chuckling to herself and shaking her head at Luz’s energy. Luz removes her robe and hands it off to Amelia, who gives some last minute advice and words of encouragement as she does so.

The ref takes the United States title from Luz and stands in the center of the ring, holding it up in the air. The crowd buzzes as the cameras show both the champion and challenger staring at the title then at each other. The ref hands the title to the timekeeper and signals for the bell.

Sharper: “Damon Cage taking on La Pequena Luz for the United States title. This is a highly anticipated match-up.”

Kayl: “Cage earned his shot after winning a battle royal during our Wholesome Family Event. He’s had to wait a little bit, but here’s his chance.”

Knots: “I think we need to focus more on the fact that Meghan Strader, who is NOT in the arena mind you, has made it known she will take on the winner of this contest. That’s an important fact.”

The bell rings. Cage and Luz step out from their respective corners, circling the ring, before Cage charges and hits a running high knee, leveling the champion. He goes the cover.

1!

Luz kicks out.

Knots: “Rookie move there. It’s too early to go for the cover. For crying out loud.”

Kayl: “Let’s not forget that Damon has been doing this for over ten years. He’s spent the majority of his time in Japan.”

Knots: “I’d say he should go back if he doesn’t win tonight.”

Cage pulls Luz up from the mat, but she fires away with a European uppercut. Cage staggers back. Luz connects with a dropkick, sending Cage into the ropes. Cage comes back, going for a clothesline, but Luz dunks under. Luz jumps off the middle rope, flipping over Cage, pulling him down with a reverse DDT. Luz goes for the cover.

Sharper: “The Champion going for a cover of her own.”

1!

Cage kicks out. Luz gets to her feet then flips, going for a shooting star and hitting a leg drop across Cage’s throat. Luz rolls forward and charges at the ropes, leaping off the middle rope once again, connecting with a moonsault. The crowd cheers as she goes for another cover.

1!

2!

Cage shoots the shoulder up. Luz backs into the ropes as Cage gets to his feet, only for Luz to hit a dropkick to both knees. Cage drops down and Luz hooks him before driving him into the mat with a spike DDT. Cage rolls over onto his back. Luz gets up and points to the turnbuckle. The crowd cheers as she stomps over and climbs to the top. As she does, the cameras show Amelia with her back turned to the ring, leaning into the barricade. Luz is then shown looking out at Amelia.

Kayl: “I wondered if this would become a factor. Amelia had her own match earlier and her attitude has been rather questionable.”

Cage is then shown getting to his feet. Luz seems to return her attention to him and she leaps off the top rope, and Cage dives out of the way to avoid it. Luz hits the mat and rolls to her feet. She turns and Cage is shown charging towards her, hitting Luz with a running lariat, that causes Luz to come off her feet, flipping in the air, and onto her back.

Sharper: “And the challenger just turned the champion inside out!”

Knots: “That’s what you get when you take your eyes off what’s more important. Take it from me. Love will get you nowhere.”

Cage drops down and hooks the leg.

1!

2!

Luz kicks out. Cage pulls Luz up from the mat. He grabs her and drives his knee into her midsection. Cage hooks Luz and takes her down with a vertical suplex. Cage spins his legs, maintaining hold of Luz, pulling her up as he gets to his feet, hitting a second vertical. Cage repeats this motion, hitting a third vertical suplex, before hooking the leg.

1!

2!

Luz kicks out!

Kayl: “The Champion is still in this!”

Cage gets to his feet, pulling Luz up as well. He hits a knife edge chop before whipping Luz into the corner as hard as he can. Luz hits the corner, flipping over the top and out onto the apron, where she is seen holding onto the top rope. Cage charges over, and Luz manages to connect with a kick, staggering Cage. Luz manages to leap onto, and off, the top rope, hitting a flying forearm.

With Cage on the mat, Luz pulls herself up with the ropes, and climbs to the top rope. She turns to look at Ameila, who faces the ring, but has her arms crossed, looking like she wants to be anywhere else but ringside.

Knots: “The Champion, who is still in this, is distracted yet again!”

Sharper: “As much as I hate to say it, you’re right…Oh, Damon Cage!”

Cage is shown running across the ring, climbing the ropes where he hooks Luz and takes her off the top with a belly to belly suplex. Luz winces in the middle of the ring, before Cage scrambles over and covers.

1!

2!

Luz shoots the shoulder up.

Kayl: “I’m not sure how, but the champion kicks out at two!”

Cage picks Luz up and whips her across the ring. Luz leaps off the middle rope and connects with a springboard back elbow. Cage stumbles back into the ropes as Luz gets to her feet. Cage comes back and connects with a discus clothesline. Both fall to the mat.

Sharper: “Champion and challenger are down!”

Ref: “1…2…3…”

Knots: “Where is Meghan Strader when you need her? Hell, get Gavin out here if we have to. I hope we don’t, but still!”

Ref: “4…5…”

Both competitors are shown beginning to slowly stir, both rolling towards an opposite set of ropes.

Ref: “6…7…”

Cage and Luz grab the bottom rope, then middle, slowly pulling themselves up. The crowd is cheering. Amelia is even shown being interested in the match, pulling herself from wherever her mind’s been at.

Ref: “8…9…”

The count stops as both competitors reach their feet. Cage and Luz stagger forward before they begin to exchange forearms. Cage dunks one forearm before delivering a European uppercut, sending Luz into the ropes. Luz comes back and hits a dropkick to the left knee. Cage drops to one knee, and Luz follows this up with a shining wizard.

Sharper: “Esperanza Brillante! And the Champion going for the cover.”

1!

2!

3…NOO! Cage kicks out just in the nick of time! Luz stands up and backs her into the corner. Cage is shown pulling himself up using the ropes. As he turns, Luz charges over and leaps up, catching Cage in a spinning head scissors, spinning around in the ring while Cage seems to be doing his best to maintain his balance.

Kayl: “Luz staying on the hunt. This is why she’s had such a successful run.”

Cage manages to stop Luz, planting his feet. He lifts her up and drives her down with a powerbomb. Cage rolls backwards, as Luz rolls over onto her stomach, slowly pushing herself up.

Knots: “You were saying?”

Luz gets to her feet and turns, only for Cage to charge over, leap up and pull her face into his left knee as he falls back first into the mat.

Kayl: “The challenger is feeling free! Cage going for the cover.”

1!

2!

Luz kicks out! Cage looks at Luz. He ten grabs her and pulls her up. He then grabs her head and jumps up for the Uncaged, but Luz drops down and pushes off with her legs. Both roll through and end up next to one another before Luz jumps up and hits the Lights Out. Luz turns and throws her arm over Cage.

Sharper: “Lights Out! Countered the Uncaged!”

Kayl: “The cover! The cover!”

1!

2!

3!

Luz rolls off.

Sharper: “And she keeps the hell of a 2026 going on!”

The bell sounds.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, and still SCW United States Champion, La Pequena Luz!”

Sharper: “La Pequena Luz retains. Meghan Strader watching at home, she has to be thrilled. She wanted the winner.”

Knots: “But is she ready for Luz this time? She looks much sharper than she did at Under Attack!”

Sharper: “And Damon Cage giving a hell of a fight. The question now – is he staying? Will he get a full contract? Or this the end?”

Knots: “Frank! Take a look at him!”

Luz rolls over and looks around as she’s handed the US Championship. We then see her get up and hold the title over her head. Damon Cage remains down, looking up at the lights, as we see Amelia offering a slight smile and support for Luz as Luz continues to celebrate.

We open up with a shot of an igloo in a winter landscape as the camera focuses in.

“In a world where so many are willing to do whatever it takes…”

The camera continues to pan in closer.

“It’s easy to find yourself slighted…even offended…disrespected.”

The camera continues to move to the entrance of the igloo.

“And sometimes you need to something about it…”

We then pan in to find the igloo empty. We then hear the sound of steel banging on steel. The camera pans back and then spins around before moving to an outdoor fire and forge. We then see Selena Frost, wearing a tank-top, looking as if she’d been working for hours. She then drives a blade into a vat of oil.

Selena: “Sometimes when you do something about it, it’s best to make sure it’s served cold…”

The SCW Retribution logo comes up on the screen.

“Supreme Championship Wrestling presents Retribution on Sunday, March 15, 2026, live from London, England!”

The scene fades out.

Shaun Cruze vs. Ryan LeCavalier

The opening rifts to ‘You know my name’ kicks in over the PA system, the arena all jumping to their feet in unison as a ‘Cruze’ chant starts to roll around the arena. After a few moment, the curtain parts, and Shaun Cruze steps through it, and onto the stage

Phillips: Ladies and Gentlemen, currently on his way to the ring, hailing from Los Angeles, California, and weighing at 235Ibs… he is the Impact Player… SHAAAAAAUN CRUUUUUUUUUZE!!!

Shaun steps forwards and to the top of the ramp, looking out over his adoring fans, lifting his hands and applauding them as he also nods his gratitude. With a final smile, he starts to walk down to the ring, high fiving with the fans at ringside, and shaking hands. He stands smirking next to a fan who holds a banner saying ‘Come back Shaun’ before then running and sliding under the bottom rope. He walks to the middle of the ring, and holds out his arms, the noise level absolutely off the chart. He then walks to his corner, and turns, waiting for the start of the match.

Phillips: And his opponent, “The Lost Monarch” Ryan LeCavalier!

The arena falls into a deep, anticipatory hush as the lights abruptly dim, plunging the crowd into darkness. The air is thick with anticipation, and suddenly, the ominous beats of "Praise" by Zhu, Banks, and Bludnymph pulse through the speakers, filling the arena with an eerie energy. The voice of BANKS echoes through the space, setting a haunting tone:

"I built me up high, a building so high, you know. Up where the birds fly, it was a long time ago."

The tension is palpable as a single spotlight slices through the darkness, casting an intense beam onto the entrance ramp. The crowd holds its breath as the silhouette of her figure begins to emerge, shrouded in an aura of menace and mystery. Dressed in a breathtaking ensemble of black and gold, her outfit shimmers with an almost ethereal glow, reflecting her dominance and superiority.

As she steps into the light, the chorus surges, magnifying her grand entrance and asserting her control:

"I got the view from the stars, baby, stars, baby. You look up at me like a god, baby, god, baby."

With a deliberate, measured pace, she strides down the ramp, each step resounding with authority and command. Her hair cascades behind her, catching the light and adding a dramatic flair to her entrance. Her gaze is sharp and unyielding, scanning the crowd with a mix of disdain and amusement, daring them to challenge her.

Suddenly, pyrotechnics explode around her, their bursts of light and smoke accentuating her every movement. The strobe-like flashes create a stark contrast between light and shadow, emphasizing her formidable presence. The chorus of "Praise" swells dramatically, enveloping the arena in a pulsating rhythm:

"This is how I got name, this is how I got my fame. You and me are not the same, this is why you give me praise."

As she nears the ring, she pauses, her eyes locking onto the spectators at ringside. She smirks, exuding an aura of disdain and arrogance, relishing in their fear and respect. With a contemptuous glance, she continues her march toward the ring, her every move a testament to her dominance and control.

Ascending the ring steps with an almost ritualistic grace, she pauses at the top, surveying the arena with a look of disdainful triumph. With a flourish, she steps through the ropes, her entrance complete. Raising her arms in a gesture of defiance and power, she locks eyes with her opponent, the tension between them electric.

The music crescendos to a thunderous climax, and the crowd erupts into a cacophony of boos and jeers, their voices a testament to her impact and infamy. She stands ready in the center of the ring, her presence alone a declaration of her readiness for the fight ahead.

As the final notes of "Praise" fade into the night, the echoes of the chorus linger in the air, a haunting reminder of her dominance and control:

"Give me (Praise), Give me (Praise)."

And with that, the stage is set, the battle lines drawn, and the arena braces itself for the match that's about to take place.

Sharper: “Shaun Cruze has had a target on his back since returning. Clyde Sutter went after him. Now Ryan LeCavalier.”

Kayl: “Different reasons. Sutter saw Cruze as a way to test himself as he was rising. But LeCavalier…the connection to the boss, that rubbed her the wrong way.”

Kayl: “What connection?! Huh? So he has bodyguards. He’s protecting an investment in a generational talent.”

Ryan ducks a lariat and then nails a running knee lift followed by a roundhouse kick that staggers Cruze. She fires off quick European uppercuts and then goes for an exploder suplex but Cruze blocks.  Cruze with an exploder suplex of his own followed by a shining wizard. Ryan scrambles back to her feet. Cruze goes for a superman punch but Ryan ducks and then lands a a European uppercut followed by another roundhouse kick that sends Cruze tumbling to the outside. Ryan goes out after him, not wanting to give him any reprieve, but before she can go on the offense Cruze’s bodyguards step in between her and Cruz.

Sharper: “And wait a minute…”

Knots: “Keep it in the ring. Ryan has a tendency to get a bit out there. Only bad things happen outside of the ring!”

Kayl: “She was run down outside of the ring by James Evans.”

Knots: “See!”

Ryan argues with the bodyguards while Cruze recovers. Eventually she pushes herself past them and throws more European uppercuts. Cruze blocks and lands some strikes of his own. Cruze with a snap suplex on the outside. Cruze pulls Ryan up and rolls her back into the ring.  Cruze with a flurry of strikes including fists and kicks, then he finishes it off with a crescent kick and then a lion sault for a cover…

1…

…2Kickout!

Cruze with an overhead belly to belly suplex. He goes up to the top and goes for a swanton bomb and connects. He goes for another cover…

1…

2…Kickout!

Cruze transitions right into a crossface.

Sharper: “Crossface by the Impact Player. I don’t know if you want to trade holds though with Ryan LeCavalier.”

Knots: “Why not? Cruze is a once in a lifetime talent. He can do anything if he wants. Anything!”

Kayl: “See someone has their marching orders.”

The referee is in perfect position to ask Ryan if she wants to give in but she refuses. Instead she struggles in the hold, looking for a counter. Eventually Ryan manages to counter into a variation of The Body Prison! Unfortunately Cruze is close enough to the ropes that he is easily able to reach out to grasp the ropes and force a break.

Sharper: “Rope break-“

Knots: “Break it! Come on! Get her off!”

Kayl: “Lecavalier showing exactly what Sharper and I were thinking.”

Both competitors pull themselves up. Ryan with a side headlock takeover and then a single leg sliding kick. Ryan with a standing moonsault for a cover…

1…

2…Kickout!

Ryan pulls Cruze up and goes for a German suplex but Cruze reverses positions and delivers a German suplex of his own, hangs on, rolls through, a second straight German suplex, he hangs on, rolls through, and then snaps off a third straight German suplex, releasing on the third. Cruze then takes Ryan and whips her in. He lowers his head too early and she kicks him square in the face. Ryan with an inverted atomic drop and then a running hurricinrana. Ryan with a butterfly suplex. She covers…

1…

2…

3…NO!

Ryan whips Cruze into the corner. She charges in but he gets his boot up, driving into her face. Cruze hops up to the second rope and delivers a missile dropkick! Cruze then locks in a sharpshooter!

Sharper: “Shaunshooter! Shaunshooter locked in!”

Knots: “LeCavalier. It’s over! It’s over. Just tap and accept you made a mistake!”

Kayl: “She’s fighting though. This is far from over!”

Ryan struggles in the hold, trying to reach the ropes. After nearly a minute in the hold she reaches the bottom rope to force the break. Cruze drags her back out to the center to try and apply it again but she counters with an inside cradle!

1…

2…

3…NO!

Cruze walks into a knee lift followed by a high angle dropkick that sends Cruze tumbling through the ropes and to the outside. Ryan climbs to the top rope and looks to take Cruze out with a moonsault…but again the bodyguards get in the way to protect him. Ryan hops down from the top rope and confronts them again out of frustration.

Sharper: “And again! This is supposed to be a contest between these two!”

Knots: “They’re just protecting him. Especially after so many have tried to make their name against him!”

Kayl: “And Cruze has had enough. He’s had enough!”

Cruze gets in the face of the bodyguards, yelling at them to back off. Ryan then grabs him from behind and snaps off a release German suplex on the outside!  She quickly pulls him up and rolls him back into the ring. Ryan goes to the corner. Presque l'amour! The cover…

1…

2…

…3NO! Shaun Cruze kicks out!

Ryan pulls Cruze up and drops him with a ddt. Ryan with another release German suplex. Ryan goes back up to the top turnbuckle. She attempts Lumičre d’Arc…but Cruze gets his knees up at the last possible second!

Sharper: “And Cruze just got that shoulder up! Just got it up!”

Knots: “The heart!”

Kayl: “LeCavalier thought she had it!”

Shaun pulls himself up. Ryan staggers back to her feet and turns right into…MORALITY! Shaun falls into the cover…

1…

2…

…3!

The bell sounds.

Phillips: “Here is your winner…SHAUN CRUZE!”

Cruze rolls off and looks up and turns to LeCavalier who turns and holds her jaw.

Sharper: “Cruze with the Morality superkick.”

Kayl: “Funny when the bodyguards-“

Sharper: “Cruze stepped in at the end. Frank Delatosso demanding he have this protection, but that was more involved than I would’ve ever thought.”

Knots: “Better than the opposite? You know, when they attack people who don’t deserve it!”

Cruze gets up and has his arm raised. He looks around as the crowd cheers him. Cruze tries to get back into his celebration, trying to shake off the match before the scene cuts away.

The Shot of Adrenaline logo comes up on the screen.

Sharper: “Folks, we are about to see the finals of the Shot of Adrenaline Tournament-“

Knots: “Finally!”

Sharper: “And let’s just take a look back at how the two semifinals matches ended.”

EARLIER TONIGHT:

Polly then gets up and drags Deanna up. She then nails her with a hard right and then another and another. She pushes her into the ropes and goes to throw her into the ropes, but instead, after she whips her, she runs after her and pushes her into the ropes and goes for an Okana roll, but Deanna rolls through and gets Polly down.

1!

2!

The crowd roars. The bell sounds. Deanna falls forward and looks around. Polly looks up stunned.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, and STILL SCW Adrenaline Champion, Deanna Frost!”

Sharper: “Polly Playtime tried to take Deanna down. Was aggressive all match. Showed a confidence we’ve not seen from her.”

Kayl: “But sometimes it’s just if someone can catch you and Deanna did. The momentum took them over and she got the three.”

Knots: “But Polly gave her a message anyways!”

Knots: “And Polly wasn’t done!”

Sharper: “She wasn’t. While Deanna has moved on, we then saw Dexter Grant and Kimberly Williams go at it and controversy there.”

The Shot of Adrenaline Tournament logo comes up on the screen.

Sharper: “Polly Playtime nailing Kimberly Williams with a guitar! We assume she meant to hit her.”

Kayl: “But Grant was there too!”

Sharper; “I don’t know, but she seemed to be okay with it. Regardless, Dexter Grant moving on. A rematch from Shattered Reality now awaits us.”

Polly heads to the back as Wendell enters the ring, holding his jaw. He helps Grant up as Grant looks around. Kim turns, wincing and grimacing in pain. She just looks annoyed as cameras focus on her before the Shot of Adrenaline Tournament logo comes up on the screen.

Sharper: “So we are about to have this match. The finals of the tournament. We know Frank Delatosso is here too.”

Knots: “Talked to him personally!”

Sharper: “He’s taking a much less hands on approach than last Breakdown. But I’m sure he’ll be watching.”

Shot of Adrenaline Tournament Finals

SCW Adrenaline Championship

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall with a thirty minute time limit and is the finals match in the Shot of Adrenaline tournament and for the SCW Adrenaline Championship!

Grant goes over to Phillips to grab the microphone. He accosts Phillips and then pulls the microphone from him.

Sharper: “Dexter Grant getting to this point. Though Kimberly-“

Knots: “Enough with her. If she’s so good, she could’ve just avoided this by just not being annoying.”

Sharper: “Give me a break Jon.”

Grant: “Well here we are…the finals…a match I could’ve told you was going to happen months ago. And as I stand here…of course, some controversy, I’m sure that’s going all over social media as you try to sell this to get some more people interested in watching the replay, or watching videos on social media, while you demonize me for everything-“

The chords of "People Like Us" by Kelly Clarkson fill the arena, causing a roar from the audience as bright, fall leaves seem to blow and fly on the LED screens on and around the ramp. Grant throws his arms up in annoyance as from the back curtain, out runs Deanna Frost, wearing the SCW Adrenaline Championship, taking in the audience before running to the right side, then the left side, shouting to them in excitement. The 'leaves' follow her as she does. Returning to the middle, Deanna gives a spin on one foot, her arms outstretched, the 'leaves' circling her below her feet.

Phillips: “His opponent, from Manhattan, New York, the SCW Adrenaline Champion, she is Deanna Frost!”

The SCW adrenaline Championship logo comes across the screen.

Kayl: “Deanna could do something few have – run the table. Win every match in the Shot of Adrenaline tournament. Already has plenty to be proud of. But she could make her stamp on SCW.”

Sharper: “Win or lose, she’s reminded everyone she can stand on her own, but win here, and she has a talking point no one could ever take away from her.”

The bell sounds as Deanna and Dexter look at one another. Dexter glares at Deanna before spinning around. The two look at one another and lock up in the middle of the ring. Dexter drops down and around and into a waistlock before moving into a side headlock. He then spins around her and grabs the arm and wrenches it before shoving her away. Grant smirks as he shakes his head. Deanna looks at Grant.

Knots: “Look at the technical skill by Dexter Grant!”

Sharper: “Messing with Deanna early. Trying to maybe test that confidence.”

Grant turns and the two lunge at one another and Grant ducks down and around Deanna again. This time, Deanna drops down and spins around into a standing switch and into a waistlock of her own. Deanna then clubs Dexter in the back. He then spins him around and forearms him in the jaw before then going for a spinning back fist. Dexter ducks and then drops down with a double leg takedown. He then stands up, grabbing the arm and the leg. Deanna looks up and then turns, rolling over and sending him leg over. She jumps up and flips forward and Dexter falls into the corner. He stops himself and turns around and Deanna hits a dropkick, knocking him down.

Sharper: “And Deanna gets dropkick. Dexter down.”

Kayl: “That’ll affect his confidence!”

Dexter rolls over and gets up and lunges at Deanna, but she grabs him and hits a snapmare. She then knees him in the back. Dexter rolls over and Deanna runs into the ropes. She bounces off and goes for a discus clothesline. Dexter ducks and then runs after her and pushes her into the ropes and pulls her back into an Okana roll.

Dexter falls back and Deanna runs at him and hits a running jumping calf kick. Dexter falls through the ropes to the floor. Deanna looks at him and sees this. She then gets up and grabs the top rope and hits a vaulting twisting press onto Dexter!

Sharper: “Over the top! Using the rope for added launch and landing right onto the challenger!”

Kayl: “Deanna Frost has said how much she wants to walk away the winner tonight. She’s taking risks, but calculated ones.”

Dexter winces as Deanna gets up. She plays to the crowd, as the crowd roars. Dexter moves to the steel steps and Deanna runs over and nails him with a hard right and then another and another and another. She backs up and takes a few steps away before turning around and running back at Dexter, but Dexter hip tosses her over the steel steps. The crowd ohs. He then steps onto them and looks at Deanna as she winces on the floor and Dexter dives off with a flying elbow drop, driving his elbow into her chest, while she’s down on the mats. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “And the elbow onto the chest, into the heart of Deanna.”

Knots: “That almost could’ve been far worse. Dexter launched her over the steps. I’d have driven her into them.”

Dexter gets up and grabs Deanna and drags her up. He spins her into the ring. Deanna rolls over to the middle of the ring. Dexter slides in and then runs at her and hits a clothesline. Kayl: “Trying to sap whatever strength Deanna may have.”

Dexter pulls back as Deanna grimaces. Dexter continues to hold on before Deanna starts to slowly get her feet under her. The crowd roars as Dexter looks around and Deanna elbows him in the ribs once and then again. She gets up to run into the ropes, but Dexter pulls her down by the hair. Deanna hits hard and Dexter goes for the pin.

Deanna staggers back. She takes a moment to recover before running over and running up the corner and then dropping down before hitting a snap German suplex, but Deanna hooks her legs on the top rope, hanging upside. She then pulls herself up to the top turnbuckle.

Kayl: “Oh spider suplex!”

Sharper: “Deanna pulling out some new tricks! German off the top rope! But she’s still up there!”

Grant rolls over and Deanna glances back and then dives off with a rounding splash. She hooks the leg.

Sharper: “She has run the table from the start to the end! Deanna Frost wins the Shot of Adrenaline Tournament!”

Knots: “Yeah, yeah….”

Kayl: “Huge win for her. Huge moment for her. And it’s all Deanna’s!”

Deanna gets up and looks around. She plays to the crowd for a moment as she’s handed the SCW Adrenaline Championship. She turns and holds the title over her head. She then turns and moves to the corner, climbing up and raising it over her head. She looks around as she then hops down and looks around before walking to the opposite side. Wendell pulls Grant out of the ring as he winces in pain, holding his jaw. Dexter goes to the next corner and continues her celebration. We then cut to the floor to see CHBK walking over to the ring, holding a trophy. He steps into the ring and Deanna stops and turns and CHBK walks over and nods before extending the trophy to Deanna Frost. CHBK holds it out as Deanna comes over and grabs the trophy. She then holds it over her head. The crowd cheers.

Sharper: “And CHBK presenting Deanna with a trophy only a few have held!”

Dexter looks on as Deanna turns and holds it up as CHBK applauds. A photographer comes to the apron and leans in. Deanna turns to them as CHBK poses, holding the trophy as if presenting to Deanna. A photo is taken as Dexter now starts to leave the ringside area. Deanna then takes the title and holds it over her head again.

Sharper: “What a moment for Deanna Frost! Your 2025/26 Shot of Adrenaline Tournament winner!”

Deanna continues to celebrate as the scene cuts away.

A recap video shows the history between the Glimmer Sisters and Xander Valentine and Selena Frost leading to this match.

Selena Frost & Xander Valentine vs. The Glimmer Sisters

SCW World Tag Team Championship

The bell sounds.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall with a thirty minute time limit and is for the SCW World Tag Team Championship!”

The SCW World Tag Team Championship logo comes across the screen.

BELIEVE IT... OR NOT!

"Thank You for Hating Me!" by Citizen Soldier plays throughout the arena, the SCW Universe deafening the song with their boos. The lights shift to dark purple and blue, filling the arena as snow is seen “falling” along the electronic floor and screens as, out from the back, walks the Snow Queen, Selena Frost, taking in the crowd of the SCW Universe with a smirk.

Slowly, Selena shifts her head, her sapphire eyes locked towards the ring as she turns to her side and lifts her front hand gracefully, extending it towards the ring, palm upward. With a lift of her front foot, she suddenly slams it down into the ground, causing a crack like ice to form and sprint down the ramp and towards the ring.

Phillips: “First, the challengers. From Nome, Alaska, by way of Manhattan, New York, she is the Snow Queen, Selena Frost!”

Lowering her arm, the Blue-Eyed Devil walks down the ramp, her steps leaving footprints in the “snow” under her feet. Reaching the ring, Selena goes up the steps and under the ropes to enter it. Once inside and in the center of the ring, she stands still, confident and powerful, as the lights form to make a massive blue and black snowflake under her and the purple and blue lights. Raising her hand back up, towards the audience, once again palm upright, a wicked smirk graces her lips. With a slam of her foot, Selena causes the snowflake at her feet to “crack” as the rampway did, the shards of ice streaking out to all four corners of the ring to shoot out purple streaks of light from the turnbuckle the lights return to normal.

Sharper: “This could be one of the most unique title defenses we’ve seen at an event that’s not Fatal Fortunes. Selena Frost and Xander Valentine, to put it bluntly, hate each other. Selena has actively tried to injure Xander. But they both want to get some measure of revenge, to extract some respect, from the Glimmer Sisters.”

Kayl: “It started with the Glimmers just going right after both. Didn’t care who they pissed off. And Selena and Xander have not forgotten about it.”

Knots: “Sometimes you need a shit disturber to get you off your game. But the Glimmer Sisters…they’re another level. And no one has seemingly been able to touch them.”

A long church bell rings, once- twice- a third time as the crowd explodes. The lights go out as Xander’s voice echoes out over the sound system, increasing the intensity of the crowd’s roar.

“Never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.”

The few opening keystrokes of “Soul on Fire” by Last Internationale chimed. A lull before the storm as the crowd seems to calm for only a moment before Delila Paz’s blues dominate the audio.

“Some are born to kill

Others are born to run

Some need to keep on takin'

Till you ain't got none”

A singular light appears before the curtains, on the other side is the outline of a large man. On the screen, we’re shown Xander Valentine holding onto the bars of a prison cell. He starts to bend the bars before the scene blurs.

“But baby, I wasn't built to die

Lay down and be crucified

Nah, no matter how hard they try

To push me down

Still I rise”

“Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)

Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)”

The curtain drops to reveal Xander. A quick salvo of pyros explodes in front of him before he steps through the smoke with an intense look on his face. He goes from one side of the stage to the next, yelling out to the crowd and throwing up his arms. He then stops at the top of the ramp and throws his arm up into the air. He starts down the ramp, Xander’s gaze affixed on the ring.

Phillips: “Her partner, fighting out of Fort Collins, Colorado, from Rochester, New York, he is the Paragon of Violence, the Executioner, Xander Valentine!”

Suffocate me until I am blue

To preserve my bad worldview

Paranoid, All Eyes On Me

Rumours circle, vultures feed

Baby, I wasn't built to die

Lay down and be crucified

Nah, no matter how hard they try

To push me down

Still I rise

Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)

Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)

Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)

Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)

Xander leaps up onto the apron in a single bound. Xander climbs up over the top rope and marches straight to the far side of the ring. He throws his arms up again, getting a massive pop. He goes to the opposite side and repeats to garner the same response. He hops down from the rope, and jogs into place, waiting for the bell. Selena Frost stands on the floor, glaring at him. Xander ignores her.

Sharper: “Selena Frost not even in the ring as Xander arrives.”

Kayl: “They’ve had to protect one another at Breakdown as a result of the chaos they’ve done. Xander helped them get this shot at Shattered Reality.”

Knots: “After Selena tried to dummy Xander! Just think of what could happen if they win the titles!”

Sharper: “If they are able to, it would be a stunning victory too. Even with their skill, their experience. The Glimmer Sisters have been so well-oiled as a team.”

Knots: “Adam, the hell is wrong with you?”

Sharper: “What?”

Knots: “We can’t say oil and the Glimmers at the same time. That’s a different show!”

All the lights in the arena suddenly cut out, leaving the fans gasping and roaring in surprise. After a moment, blue lighting overtakes the arena, almost making it look like the entire place is underwater. On the stage, we can see what looks like water raining down right in front of the entryway, a silhouette of a woman visible behind it as she's flipping her hair and looks to be getting dressed for battle. Tongue Twister then hits and after a few seconds, we see Gina Glimmer (we assume) walk through the water, motioning as though she were parting a curtain, sashaying in a way that draws all eyes to her hips as she grins knowing full well what she's doing. Once she's fully visible she flaps her arms at her sides almost like she's flying, and as she does we see a second pair of arms flapping in the opposite motion appear from behind her, almost making her look like one of those multi-armed Hindu gods. After a few flaps she leans to one side as we see her twin Gia Glimmer (again, we assume) suddenly appear from behind her and lean the opposite way, perfectly mirroring one another. They both are wearing the SCW World Tag Team Championships. They join hands and look as though they're about to break into a ballroom dance, but Gina simply uses this to flip Gia over her back, and the moment she lands on her feet in time with the bass dropping the lighting immediately changes to a vibrant display of pinks and yellows. At this, the two begin to dance their way down to the ring, again a perfect mirror of one another as their sensual motions hypnotize the audience.

Phillips: Their opponents, from Cirque du Sins, they are the SCW World Tag Team Champions, the team of Gia and Gina, the Glimmer Sisters!

The mirror routine breaks at a few points when they stop dancing to briefly interact with fans, Gina scoffing at some guy not worth her time in the front row desperately trying to get her number while Gia teases potentially flashing her side of the crowd only to stick her tongue out and tell them to blame SCW for the let down. Once they reach ringside they dance their way over to the hard cam side of the ring before pulling themselves onto the apron facing away from each other, where they press their butts together and slowly rise as they stick their tongues out and suggestively lick each finger, drawing excited cheers from all interested parties that clash with the boos they're otherwise getting from those that either aren't interested in them or see through the act. Once they're both fully upright, they mirror one another again as they lean back against the ropes, pushing out their chests for the fans' enjoyment before hooking their arms around the top rope and backflipping into the ring in sync. Once they're back in the ring the lighting returns to the underwater hues as they dance around the ring one more time, mirroring one another again, before meeting in the middle of the ring as a spotlight shines down on them. They sensually embrace, each lifting a leg up in a way that makes it seem like they're trying to wrap it around the other's body as they flip their hair before motioning for the camera to get a close-up of them as they grin and wink to the fans at home. The lights then completely cut out again for a brief moment before coming back on as normal, the Glimmer Sisters separating and moving to their corner as they wait for the bell with a hungry look in their eyes. Steve Hollinsworth, the referee, takes the titles from the champions. He holds them over his head and then goes to hand them off. Selena enters the ring and then steps up in front of Xander. Xander just looks at her as Gina and Gia talk to one another.

Sharper: “The Glimmer Sisters know that from a teamwork perspective they have the advantage.”

Knots: “Already seeing that at play! Selena just stepped up and she’s ready to go.”

Kayl: “And this could fall apart early!”

Selena and Xander continue to argue before Gia and Gina run across the ring and hit dual dropkicks, each hitting one of their opponents. The crowd roars. The bell sounds. Xander staggers along the ropes as Selena goes down. The Glimmers get up and run over and jump up and hit another double dropkick on Xander. Xander falls through the ropes to the floor. Selena fights up and Gina and Gia turn as Selena forearms Gia, we think, with a shot and then Gina, we think, kicks Selena in the ribs. Selena swings, throwing right hands, but Gia and Gina both start to kick away at the ribs of Selena. Selena slowly drops down to a seated position as the official counts.

Xander pulls himself up as Gia and Gina grab Selena, each by an arm, and drag her out of the Frost/Valentine corner and towards the middle of the ring where they hit a double-team snapmare. At this point, one of the Glimmers, we’ll see Gina, exits the ring. Gia then stomps Selena in the face before then running into the ropes, bouncing off and hitting a flipping leg drop.

Sharper: “The Glimmers all over Xander and Selena. This is right now their match. They are clearly the more aligned machine.”

Knots: “And well-oiled. You can see that!”

Selena holds her face and Gia goes for the pin.

The crowd boos loudly as Gina hits the opposite corner and Selena runs over and nails her with a hard right. She chops Gina; woos follow. Selena chops Gina again. More woos. She then grabs Gina and throws her out of the corner. Gina somersaults through and gets to her feet, but Selena steps up and hits a dropkick.

Sharper: “And Selena, there’s that experience. She may want her teach the Glimmers a lesson. She may want to humiliate them.”

Kayl: “But she’s not going to make it easy if her and Xander are not working together.”

Selena then stomps Gina in the face. Gina rolls over. Selena stomps her again and again and again. She gets to the ropes and Selena grabs the ropes and starts to stomp away on Gina. Gina covers up and hooks the bottom rope with her boot.

Gia kicks out. Both get up and Selena kicks Gia in the ribs and runs her into the Frost/Valentine corner. She then looks up at Xander and tags him in. Xander enters and Selena holds Gia. Xander looks at her and then buries his knee into the ribs of Gia. Gia falls over. Selena exits the ring, watching Xander the entire way.

Sharper: “That’s the most tense tag I’ve ever seen. Selena nor Xander trust the other.”

Kayl: “And Xander buried that knee, but Selena did not take her eyes off of him.”

Sharper: “And now Gia and Gina have to deal with someone who they can’t just necessarily use their speed in the same way.”

Gia gets up and Xander whips her into the ropes. She bounces off and Xander launches her in the air and Gia lands hard with a back drop. She turns and gets up and Xander clotheslines her down. He then turns, hits the ropes, bounces off and goes for a running elbow drop. Gia rolls out of the way. She scrambles up and tags in Gina. Gina enters as Xander gets up and they run past him. Xander turns around and Gia and Gina hit a dual dropkick to the knees. Xander drops to his knees. They nip up and then hit stereo dropkicks, one to each side of his head. Xander drops. The crowd ohs. Gia then runs in and runs at Xander and Selena, but Xander pushes Selena’s leg away and into the face of Gia. Gia hits the mat. Gina then rolls into the ring and then jumps onto the back of Xander as Selena is forced out of the ring.

Sharper: “Selena losing her cool there.”

Knots: “No matter the result, she may have been thrilled!”

Sharper: “But Xander caught her foot and then used it as a weapon!”

Kayl: “And Gina Glimmer trying to take down Xander. Twin magic striking here!”

Xander struggles with Gina and turns and throws her down, flipping her forward, off of his back. Selena exits as she snaps at the official, Steve Hollinsworth. Xander then steps up and Gia goes to grab him, but Xander catches her by the throat. Gina then low blows Xander. Xander winces as Gia gets feet. Xander kicks out.

Knots: “I don’t know if that was the legal Glimmer, but that was close!”

Sharper: “And the Glimmers will use anything to their advantage. Right there, Selena staying in the ring too long.”

Kayl: “Intentionally. Not. Is she too focused on whatever is driving her?”

Gia rolls off and runs over as Xander stirs and Gia stomps away on the back of Xander. She turns and tags in Gina. Gina climbs to the top rope and Gia grabs her arm and Gina jumps off, twisting off and in an acrobatic flourish, she drops down and uses the momentum to pull Gia up, launching her into the air with a somersault, but instead of landing on Xander’s shoulders for a frankensteiner. Xander catches her and plants Gia with a snap powerbomb! The crowd ohs. Gina gets up and hits a jumping dropkick to Xander. Xander staggers back. Gia rolls out of the ring as Gina runs up and hits a bicycle kick to the chest. Xander hits the ropes and bounces off and clotheslines her down.

Sharper: “Oh my! The powerbomb! Gia still feeling it trying to exit the ring! Gina trying to fight Xander, but Xander just overpowering her!”

Knots: “You don’t need an angry and motivated Xander, but they have that.”

Xander then steps up as Gina gets up and Xander scoops her up and hits a sidewalk slam. He goes for the pin.

Gina gets her shoulder up. Xander then rolls off and moves into the ropes, bouncing off, but Selena tags herself in. She then enters as Xander glares at her and then grabs Gina and pulls her up, running her into the neutral corner. Xander calmly exits the ring, glaring at Selena. Selena chops Gina in the chest once and then again before pulling her out and hitting a running facebuster. Selena then turns her over and mounts her, nailing her with repeated right hands. Selena turns and runs into the ropes. Gia, however, gets up and trips up Selena. Selena turns and kicks at Gia through the ropes. Gia staggers back, getting caught in the face. Selena turns around, but Gina gets up and hits a spinning crescent kick to Selena’s head.

Sharper: “Selena couldn’t help herself. Caught Gia with that kick.”

Kayl: “And Gina returned the favour. The Glimmers support each other like few others we’ve seen in SCW!”

Selena turns and slowly gets up and Gina grabs her and whips her into the neutral corner. Gina then moves across the ring before running across and hitting a Stinger Splash, driving her chest into Selena’s face. Gina steps back as Selena staggers out and Gina jumps up and hits a hurricanrana into a pin.

Xander lands on his feet and staggers back, moving into the entrance way. He looks on annoyed before we see Selena taking down with a double clothesline. Xander turns to the ring as Gia and Gina then run across the ring, bounce off and hit a double tope through the ropes and onto Xander. The crowd erupts.

Sharper: “And Gia and Gina starting to run that ring. Got Xander down. Got Selena down. And then through the ropes. A double dive and the Executioner down on the floor!”

Knots: “I think they’re trying to play to Selena and Xander’s rage. That they may go after one another. Xander’s shown some frustration. Selena too!”

Kayl: “That’s one strategy and right now, the Glimmers are doing it.”

Gina and Gia get up as they then spin onto the apron. Selena gets up and runs at both and nails Gia with a forearm and then a back elbow to Gina.

Knots: “But here comes Selena!”

Selena nails Gia again before Gina hits a shoulder thrust to Selena. Selena winces and Gina grabs Selena, but Selena breaks it and hits a roundhouse kick to the head. Gina drops off the apron and to the floor. Gia then hits a pump kick to Selena’s head. Selena staggers as Gia then springboards to the top rope. Selena runs over and shoves her back. Selena ends up nearly landing on her head, but Xander steps up and catches her. Selena looks out and then up, stunned. Xander then muscles her up and turns and throws her at Gia and Gina, taking them down. The crowd ohs. (1)

Kayl: “Holy crap! Selena nearly didn’t get the moonsault!”

Sharper: “A rare almost serious misstep, but Xander just saved her! Just caught her and then used her as a weapon!”

Knots: “A hell of an adlib!”

Xander then grabs Selena and lifts her up and rolls her into the ring. (2) He turns and look at the two Glimmers before grabbing one and rolling them in. He turns and shrugs before grabbing the other and then turning and throwing her along the ringside area and towards their corner. Xander turns and pulls himself onto the apron and extends his arm as the crowd looks on. Selena rolls over, wincing, and looking around, seemingly a bit shaken up. She then snaps out of it as Gia, we assume, starts to get up. Selena sees Xander’s arm and then ignores it before running past Gia, jumping to the middle rope and diving back with the Cold Shoulder. She turns and hooks the leg.

Selena turns and nails Gina, but then turns around and right into a Gia superkick!

Sharper: “Gia! Superkick!”

Knots: “Walked right into it!”

Sharper: “And the Glimmers open up another opportunity to keep things on their terms!”

Kayl: “Is Selena thinking she should have tagged in Xander a few moments ago?”

Selena winces as Gia then turns and tags in Gina. Gia and Gina go to the top rope and engage in the Tightrope Act as Gia holds Gina up before then pushing her off and into a double rotation moonsault onto Selena. The crowd ohs. Gia drops down as Gina goes for the pin.

Xander staggers and then turns and Gia and Gina both hit superkicks, knocking Xander back. Hollinsworth tries to regain control, but Gia and Gina see an opportunity. They then grab Xander, dragging him into the middle of the ring. Gia and Gina move to opposite corners and then briefly twerk before running at Xander, but Selena gets up and grabs Gina and runs her into Gia, saving Xander.

Sharper: “They were going to go for the Asspocalpyse! They saw an opening!”

Kayl: “But Selena!”

Sharper: “Selena saved Xander Valentine!”

Gina turns and gets up as Selena looks at Xander. Selena then takes Gina down and goes for the Frost’s Bite armbar, but Gina contorts herself and manages to slip out and into a stacked up school boy.

The crowd roars, the bell sounds, and some boo as Selena rolls off. Xander then steps over Gina and goes to the corner as Hollinsworth demands the Tag Titles.

Phillips: “Here are your winners, via pinfall, and NEW SCW World Tag Team Champions, Selena Frost and Xander Valentine!”

Sharper: “For the first time since they debuted, the Glimmer Sisters have fallen in tag action!”

Knots: “They took it to two legend though”

Sharper: “Selena hitting the Glass Shard. She could have taken out Xander if she wanted. But she took the shot and Selena Frost wins the titles.”

Kayl: “Whoa, wait…Xander’s taking both World Tag Team Championship belts.”

Xander steps up and takes both titles from Hollinsworth as he goes to grab them. Selena slowly gets up and looks up as Xander then looks at her before he then looks at both titles and throws both over his shoulders. Selena gets up, annoyed, and steps up, but Xander ignores her and steps through the ropes to the floor. Selena yells at him as Gia stirs as Gina winces in pain. Gia looks over, watching as Xander then walks around the ring. Selena follows hm.

Sharper: “Xander Valentine taking both World Tag Team Championship belts!”

Kayl: “Why? Selena is incensed!”

Sharper: “Now they’re champions…can they even work together long-term?”

Xander starts to walk to the back, holding both titles as Selena looks on. The crowd looks on as the scene cuts away.

A recap video showing the history between Syren and Cid Turner, including both wrestler’s journeys to this point.

Syren vs. Cid Turner

SCW World Championship

The bell sounds.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall with a sixty minute time limit and is for the SCW World Championship and is your main event of the evening!”

The SCW World Championship logo comes across the screen. The lights in the arena plunge into darkness. A pulsing sound akin to a heartbeat plays out across the PA system as the fans cheer.

LEXY CHAPEL PRESENTS

The heartbeat gets faster before “Groupie” by Cassie Steele hits the PA system. After a few moments Syren comes through the curtain. Syren pauses on the stage, looking out at the fans cheering.

Sinfully Seductive
Captivatingly Corrupt
DARK FANTASY

Syren walks down the ramp. She jumps up onto the apron before climbing the turnbuckles on the outside and waving her hands to get the fans fired up. As the camera gets closer to her, she shouts at the camera before pointing out at the fans.

Phillips: “First, the challenger, representing LexyCorp International, hailing from Los Angeles, California, she is Syren!”

Syren smiles before leaping over the top rope, dropping to her knees in the ring, posing with both her arms outstretched. Syren then steps up. Syren takes off her ring jacket and goes to hand it to Lexy before stopping and turning and handing it off to a crew member. She climbs up on the middle rope, posing for a moment and then jumping back down.

Sharper: “Syren out here alone. All of LexyCorp, all of Syren’s support, banned from the arena as a result of the released tape that came out where our CEO was exposed for being blunt in his evaluations.”

Knots: “It was going to happen. What do you expect? Revealing a personal communication like that?”

Sharper: “Well, regardless, we’ve seen Syren fight back to this point, but the support she’s had has been a big help. But since arriving, she has been alone.”

Kayl: “And we saw how that played a role on Breakdown. Cid Turner, seemingly getting more desperate, attacked her on Breakdown. What may he do tonight to hold onto that title?”

The lights slowly dim down. The crowd buzzes in anticipation, many of them taking their phones out and lighting up the arena with their flashlights. After a few moments of silence, Dark Child by Marlon Williams plays as the lights flash back on. The big screen shows several highlights of Cid Turner's career as the song continues to play. The crowd roars as Cid makes his way onto the stage, looking tensely out into the crowd. Cid takes a moment to let it all soak in before he begins his walk down the ramp. The SCW World Championship is around his waist.

Phillips: “Her opponent, from Denver, Colorado, he is the SCW World Champion, Cid Turner!”

My little blonde-haired, blue-eyed boy

One day you'll grow up and be distressed

One day you'll grow up and reject everything

I've set out for you

Cid continues his walk down the ramp and keeps his eye on the ring while continually muttering to himself. Cid reaches the ring and climbs up the steps, slowly walking across the apron to the corner and pulling himself up onto the second rope, standing on the turnbuckle and looking around the arena while taking a deep breath. He pounds his chest and peers out into the sea of people.

My only dear long wasteful son

One day you'll wonder what you've become

The music begins to fade out as Cid climbs down from the ropes and enters the ring, making his way to the corner. He extends the title to Aaron Demitra, the referee. Demitra takes the World Title, holds it over his head and hands it off.

Sharper: “Cid Turner keeping his eyes on that title. That title keeping him going. We know of his health issues. We know of his physical condition, I should say.”

Knots: “And he needs to step up and go, or step aside.”

Sharper: “Well, Jon, he’s fought some of the best and somehow finds a way. But along with also Syren being arguably his biggest challenge yet, he’s had a hard fought defense just weeks before this. He’s had to turn around to a second defense faster than he’s had to before.”

Demitra steps back and checks on both Syren and then Cid Turner before calling for the bell. The bell sounds. The crowd roars. Syren and Cid step out and watch one another before circling the ring. They then step up to one another and lock up into a collar-and-elbow tie-up. They push back on one another and Cid turns and spins Syren around into the corner. He pushes her back as Demitra calls for the break. Cid backs up and looks on as Syren nods and the two step up. They watch one another before the two lock up. Cid drops down and around Syren and into a waistlock. Syren manages to pry free and drops down and around into a standing switch. She holds on as Cid keeps trying to fight out before prying Syren’s hold and doing a standing switch of his own. He then takes Syren down with a Greco-roman takedown. He spins around into a front face lock, but Syren slides out, grabbing Cid’s arm and locking in a hammerlock.

Sharper: “Right now, two very accomplished wrestlers and Syren now with the advantage.”

Kayl: “Putting pressure eon the arm. A feeling out process. Been a long time before they’ve shared the ring.”

Cid manages to get up, Syren holding. Cid thinks a moment and swings back. Syren ducks, but this allows Cid to get free and grab Syren’s arm. He drops down and takes her over with a fireman’s carry and then grabs the arm. He stands up and wrenches the arm. Syren manages to get up and Cid moves into a hammerlock. Syren fights, dropping down and spinning under into a hammerlock of her own. She pulls up and then Syren drops down with a school boy.

Sharper: “Only one, but just there, a moment where Cid thinking about it. Syren too.”

Knots: “Let’s just call it as we see it. Syren’s quicker. She’s younger. She’s in better shape. But there’s that x-factor. How desperate in Cid!”

They watch one another and Cid throws his arm up as Syren reaches for it. Cid pulls away. They keep thinking as the crowd starts to make noise. Cid turns to the crowd as does Syren. They circle some more before they step up and grapple, but Cid moves into a side headlock. He pulls back as Syren reaches around and manages to get Cid into the ropes. She then fires him off. Sharper: “Only two! Top rope frankensteiner! Cid landed hard! But only a two count!”

Knots: “Go back to the drawing board, Syren!”

Kayl: “Syren thought that may be it. You wonder how much people are thinking Cid’s in much weaker state than he is. He keeps fighting though.”

Sharper: “And we know he’s in pain. He’s starting to show it, but he’s said how badly he wants these wins! His reign to continue!”

Cid rolls over and looks around, wincing as Syren then grabs him and drags him up and jumps up and hits the Total Makeover! The crowd roars. Syren rolls Cid over and hooks the leg.

Sharper: “Another Total Makeover! Cid kicked out of the first!”

Kayl: “He tried to go for the Sovereign Takeover, but you saw the pain.”

Sharper: “Are the two matches back to back so close too much. Or is Syren just that much ahead!”

Knots: “He’s said he’d have to die to stop. And that was as close as you can get!”

Sharper: “Cid Turner with the title. He waylaid Syren with it on Breakdown!”

Kayl: “He was thinking about it. I don’t know if he thinks he can beat her and-“

Cid’s arm flops up, but his shoulder remains on the canvas. The crowd looks on and roars as the bell sounds.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, and NEW SCW World Champion…Syren!”

Sharper: “For the first time since 2019, Syren is World Champion. She has done it! She has beaten Cid Turner, ending his Cinderella reign, and beginning her record-setting eighth World Championship reign!”

Kayl: “Unbelievable! Just unbelievable! Cid Turner fought through how much at the end and Syren didn’t get flustered. That was the old Syren. The Syren we’ve been looking for for years.”

Sharper: “She’s still be at a high level, but we wondered if she had lost a step. She said a year ago should would be World Champion again in 2025. She had to wait any extra month, but she’s succeeded!”

Knots: “And did it alone!”

Sharper: “That she did. Cid Turner had an amazing reign. Think of all he went through. But was it too much in the end. The Shattered Reality match, the Fatal Fortunes match against ENIGMA. Then this match against Syren. Was the tank finally empty and was Syren the one who did not let the pressure get to her.”

Syren gets up and is handed the SCW World Championship. She takes it and holds it over her head. Pyro shoots out from the stage as the crowd cheers as “Groupie” plays throughout the arena. Syren then brings the title down and looks at it before taking a moment to taking stock of the moment. She then turns back to Cid Turner who remains down on the mat. Cid Turner doesn’t move, refusing to, as Demitra checks on him. Syren continues to celebrate as Cid Turner’s eyes tell the story. He looks up at the lights, thoughts running through his head, while Syren celebrates around him and the scene fades to black…
