We see shots of James Evans standing over Xander Valentine before showing a shot of Xander attacking Giovanni Aries and Waylon Creek inside the steel cage as they face Light in the Darkness. We then see Creek speaking Xander.

We then cut to show Xander Valentine and Waylon Creek staring each other down.
CHBK: “They will be locked inside and the only way you win is by pinfall or submission. Whoever wins will be the World Champion. Whoever does not will have a spot waiting for them in the Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal.”
Knots: “If they can even walk after!”
We see shots of Syren, Meghan Strader, Asher Hayes, Josh Hudson, Amy Chastaine, Light in the Darkness, Polly Pingotti, Kimberly Williams, and Selena Frost pop up on the screen.
Heaven: “So thank you Xander. Thank you CHBK. Thank you SCW…”
Xander: “They say they’re a unit. Let’s see what’s truth when the World Title is on the line. And you can eliminate your biggest challenge at the same time. But if you think I’m walking into the Thunderdome without a plan, you’re the fool. I’m done hunting until June 1. Read into that what you will. I come for war at Taking Hold of the Flame!”
We then see a shot of Xander Valentine standing tall in the ring as the scene fades out.
Palaye Royale’s “Addicted to the Wicked & Twisted” plays in the background as the Taking Hold of the Flame logo forms on the screen.
“Supreme Championship Wrestling presents…Taking Hold of the Flame 2025!”
The logo remains on the screen for a few moments before we cut to the inside of the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. The crowd cheers as pyro shoots high into the air from the base of the entrance way. The display continues for several moments before spotlights cricel the arena. Cameras pan the crowd as they cheer and mug for the camera.
Sharper: “Welcome to NOLA! Welcome to the twenty-second Taking Hold of the Flame! And welcome to Xander Valentine’s ultimate test!”
The cameras continue to pan throughout the crowd before cutting to show the Thunderdome cage already set up around the ring. The cameras cut to various shots of it before cutting to ringside where Adam Sharper, Jonathan Knots and Simon Lyman sit.
Sharper: “Welcome to ringside. And well, we have a surprise.”
Lyman: “I had a bit of a night off. Didn’t get what I wanted, but being back home, why not come back to the table?”
Sharper: “Simon Lyman joining us. As always, I’m Adam Sharper. Jonathan Knots is with us too.”
Knots: “With us too, I’m carrying your ass!”
Sharper: “So be it, but tonight, the reality for Rise to Greatness XXII will very likely be set. Who will be World Champion? Who will win the Taking Hold of the Flame?”
Knots: “And is Xander Valentine going to be in a coma from his stupidity!”
Xander Valentine vs. Giovanni Aries vs. Waylon Creek vs. James Evans
SCW World Championship
Thunderdome Match
The bell sounds.
Phillips: “Your opening contest for Taking Hold of the Flame 2025 is the Thunderdome Match for the SCW World Championship!”
The crowd roars as the SCW World Championship logo comes across the screen.
Lyman: “Well time to see if Xander’s plan works.”
Sharper: “I don’t know what to say. This could be the end of the line with him.”
Knots: “Guess he wants to go down a martyr! The idiot!”
“I am Damnation” by Bleed from Within plays as the crowd roars and then boos. A few moments pass before we see William Heaven walking out from the back. He takes a few steps and smirks as he looks around. He glances to the curtain as we see Giovanni Aries walk out from the back, taking a drag from a cigarette. He looks around, wearing his fur coat, as he plays to the crowd.
Phillips: “Folks, coming to the ring first, accompanied by William Heaven and representing the Fall of Man…”
Phillips pauses as Giovanni Aries continues to walk to the ring.
Phillips: “First, a challenger, from Black Rock Desert, Nevada, he is Giovanni Aries!”
The camera turns back and we see Waylon Creek walk out from the back. The crowd roars seeing him as Creek looks around the arena and then to Heaven. Heaven leans over and says something to him. Creek just nods as he starts to head to the ring.
Knots: “No Legion. All business tonight!”
Sharper: “Fall of Man coming out together. Clearly to show they are united. Or at least that’s the message they are sending.”
Creek starts to walk forward.
Phillips: “Next, another challenger, from Good Grief, Idaho, he is Waylon Creek!”
The crowd roars a bit more as Creek walks to the ring. We then cut back to the entrance way as James Evans walks out from the back, holding the SCW World Championship. The crowd boos loudly as James looks around. He just smirks as he walks down the rampway, joined by William Heaven.
Phillips: “And finally, the SCW World Champion, from New York City, New York, he is James Evans!”
Evans walks down to the ring as Aries turns and looks at Creek and then to Evans. Evans takes a few more steps as Heaven walks over, seemingly confused. Aries then turns and glances at what appears the ring. He turns back.
Aries: “Finish the task?”
Heaven looks at Evans and Creek. Evans and Aries then turn to Creek. Creek just nods. Just then, Heaven walks over to the Thunderdome, as Evans and Aries walk around one part of the Thunderdome. Creek walks around in the opposite direction.
Sharper: “What are they doing?”
Knots: “I don’t know.”
Lyman: “What’s the message here? Or are they saying they own this structure.”
Sharper: “I don’t know about that…I…Simon…Simon, get out of here!”
Evans and Aries make their way around the Thunderdome and Simon Lyman stands up as Aries runs over and climbs onto the announce table. He grabs Simon, but Simon pulls back and nails Aries with a series of hard forearms to the back. He then backs up and grabs his cane before turning as Evans runs over and grabs Lyman, but Lyman nails him in the ribs with the cane. Evans grimaces as Lyman turns, but is grabbed by Creek who grabs him and pulls him over the announce table and to the floor. Evans then moves back in stomping Lyman on the floor as he’s trapped between the announce table and the Thunderdome.
Sharper: “They’re assaulting Simon Lyman and why?!”
Knots: “Aries said to finish the task, but I think they’re showing they’re ready to tear Xander apart!”
Sharper: “What are they doing? Aries and Creek now pulling him up.”
Aries pulls Lyman up as Evans backs up and takes Lyman’s cane and throws it down to the floor. Creek then drags Simon Lyman up and drags him around the Thunderdome. Lyman struggles a bit and Creek throws him against the cage and nails him with a series of lefts to the face. Lyman falls over and crawls forward. William Heaven just smiles as Creek and Aries walk around, following Lyman. Evans walks around the other side of the Thunderdome.
Sharper: “They are assaulting Simon Lyman here and where the hell is Xander Valentine?”
Knots: “Given his track record, maybe he’s pissed off Simon’s even involved here!”
Lyman gets up at the entrance way and sees Heaven. He grabs at him, but Aries runs over and clotheslines him down from behind. Creek then grabs him and lifts him up, but Evans then grabs him and throws him face first into the Thunderdome side. Lyman bounces back and turns into Creek who nails him with a hard right. Evans then grabs him and drags him up and they head over to the door. They then push through and Creek and Aries follow Evans as Evans rolls Lyman into the ring. Aaron Demitra, the official, tries to get them to stop but they ignore him. Creek then slides into the ring as Aries turns and grabs the door and holds it closed. Lyman slowly starts to get up in the ring. Evans gets up and runs over to him, but Lyman nails him with a hard right. The crowd cheers. He nails Creek as Creek runs over with another hard right before Lyman kicks Creek and Evans then grabs him and lifts him up and drops him with a spinebuster. Evans then points to Creek as Creek then grabs Lyman. The crowd roars as Amy Chastaine runs down from the back. A loud “Amy!” chant begins.
Sharper: “And New Orleans’ own, Amy Chastaine out here!”
Knots: “And Aries has the door closed. He’s keeping it closed.”
Amy runs over to the Thunderdome and looks at Heaven as he smirks. Amy spins and heads over to the door. She tries to push it open, but Aries keep it shut. We then see Evans take Lyman, placing his head between his legs. He then hoists him up into a dominator position only to drop him down into Creek’s arms and Creek spikes him with the Consequences. The crowd ohs. Amy kicks at the door as Lyman rolls over to his side. Aaron Demitra, the senior official, then dives onto Lyman, trying to stop this. Evans and Creek look down at him as they then look at one another and both nod.
Sharper: “The Consequences on Lyman. Another piledriver! And Lyman…he’s hurt!”
Knots: “Well Consequences…he could’ve stayed home. And he made himself a target!”
Sharper: “Chastaine still trying to get into the Thunderdome and –“
A long church bell rings, once- twice- a third time as the crowd explodes. The lights go out as Xander’s voice echoes out over the sound system, increasing the intensity of the crowd’s roar.
“Never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.”
The few opening keystrokes of “Soul on Fire” by Last Internationale chimed. A lull before the storm as the crowd seems to calm for only a moment before Delila Paz’s blues dominate the audio.
“Some are born to kill
Others are born to run
Some need to keep on takin'
Till you ain't got none”
A singular light appears before the curtains, on the other side is the outline of a large man. On the screen, we’re shown Xander Valentine holding onto the bars of a prison cell. He starts to bend the bars before the scene blurs.
“But baby, I wasn't built to die
Lay down and be crucified
Nah, no matter how hard they try
To push me down
Still I rise”
“Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)
Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)”
The curtain drops to reveal Xander Valerntine wearing a trenchcoat. A quick salvo of pyros explodes in front of him before he steps through the smoke with an intense look on his face. He goes from one side of the stage to the next, yelling out to the crowd and throwing up his arms. He then stops at the top of the ramp and throws his arm up into the air. He starts down the ramp, Xander’s gaze affixed on the ring.
Phillips: “And finally, fighting out of Fort Collins, Colorado, from Rochester, New York, he is the Paragon of Violence, the Executioner, Xander Valentine!”
Suffocate me until I am blue
To preserve my bad worldview
Paranoid, All Eyes On Me
Rumours circle, vultures feed
Baby, I wasn't built to die
Lay down and be crucified
Nah, no matter how hard they try
To push me down
Still I rise
Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)
Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)
Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)
Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)
Xander gets to the ring, ignoring William Heaven. He then walks over to the door as Amy Chastaine keeps trying to get in. Aries continues to hold the door shut. Xander walks over to Amy and then grabs her and turns and throws her away.
Valentine: “This is my fight…”
Valentine then turns as Giovanni Aries then steps away from the door. He then backs up and rolls into the ring. He takes off his fur coat as he then watches Xander. Demitra keeps checking on Lyman as Evans and Creek start to spread out in the ring. Xander moves to the door and then opens it. He steps inside the Thunderdome. He then turns around and takes the door and the chain, pulling it through before reaching into his pocket. He throws the padlock already ready to lock them in and throws it aside. He takes his own and places it through the chain links and locks it himself. He tests it before then pushing on the door, satisfied his task won’t be interrupted.
Sharper: “Xander throwing Amy Chastaine aside. And now, his own lock, he’s locking them in.”
Knots: “Who has the key? Him? He really does want to die here.”
Xander then pulls himself onto the apron. He then steps into the ring as the crowd roars. Creek then grabs Demitra and pulls him up. He points to Xander. The crowd buzzes as Demitra then calls for the bell. Xander then suddenly boots Evans for good measure. Evans goes down and Xander turns and takes a right hand from Aries before kneeing him in the ribs. He spins and throws him out of the ring before turning to Creek and nailing him with a hard right. Creek fires back with a hard right of his own. The crowd erupts as Creek and Xander trade blows in the middle of the ring. Xander gets the first advantage, getting a second shot in and then another before pushing Creek into the ropes and firing him across. Creek bounces off and goes for a spear, but Xander immediately side steps. Xander then takes off his trenchcoat and throws it at Creek. Creek catches it and pulls it off before Xander boots him in the face. Evans starts to get up as Aries gets up. Xander backs up and to the ropes, hooking the top rope and backflipping to the floor.
Sharper: “Xander Valentine quickly coming in and having to be the aggressor. It’s effectively three on one.”
Knots: “He asked for it. Don’t act like he’s suddenly trapped. He asked for it. He’s locked them in there.”
Amy is back at the door, trying to get it open, pulling on it. She looks at it as Xander reaches under the ring and Aries reaches through to grab Xander, but Xander suddenly spears Aries with the aluminium baseball bat in the jaw. Aries falls back. Xander then swings, causing James to juke back. Amy then looks in the Thunderdome before turning and running to the back. Back in the ring, Xander then rolls into the ring and James runs over to Xander and stomps him in the back over and over before Xander manages to swing the bat at the legs of Evans, catching him in the ankle. Evans goes down, yelling out. Xander winces, getting up and Creek gets up and Xander runs over and nails him in the ribs with the bat. Creek falls over, holding his ribs. William Heaven looks on, pacing in the entrance way.
Sharper: “Xander with the bat. That’s an aluminum bat to the ribs of Creek!”
Knots: “He took Aries down with it a few weeks ago!”
Sharper: “And he’s got all three with it. No disqualifications in this structure. Only way you win is pinfall or submission.”
Xander then turns and grabs Aries as Aries gets up and places the bat around his throat. He then throws him back with a bat assisted Russian leg sweep. Xander then kneels on his throat and Aries struggles as Xander watches Evans starts to get up and Xander takes the bat and jabs him in the stomach with it. He goes down. Xander steps off of Aries and then walks over to him and grabs him before jabbing him in the ribs again. Aries staggers to the corner. Xander then leans in and takes the bat, starting to just choke Aries, pushing it against his throat while in the corner. Aries struggles as Xander keeps leaning back.
Sharper: “He’s trying to take Aries out early. He’s just choking him with that bat.”
Knots: “Bend him back. He’s trying to divide them!”
Xander continues to choke Aries, looking right at him as Aries struggles, trying to grab at the ropes for any help, but only after several moments, does Creek offer a reprieve, running over and nailing Xander in the back. Xander staggers back and Creek follows up with a hard right. Xander staggers back as Aries drops to a heap in the corner. Creek nails Xander with a series of hard right hands, nailing him over and over and over again. Xander drops to a knee, taking each shot. Evans then heads over, still in some pain, and limping only a little bit, and grabs Creek and pulls him out and yells “My turn!” before kicking Xander in the ribs. William Heaven smiles as Evans stomps Xander over and over and over again in the stomach. Xander falls down to a seated position. Evans gets another stomp in and Xander slides down further, seemingly pulling himself down with the bottom rope. Evans then starts to choke him with his boot.
Sharper: “And Evans now teeing off after Creek got him off of Aries.”
Knots: “Just mug him. Just make him regret every minute of this!”
Sharper: “And here’s the irony – James Evans knows that Xander could do the impossible. James Evans himself was in a handicap Thunderdome match for the title, back at Retribution 2020, and he survived against Chris Cannon and Sienna Swann!”
Knots: “That’s why he’s not going to let Xander get this!”
Evans keeps choking him and Xander pushes on the bottom rope and falls to the floor. Evans then walks around the ring, trying to get the blood flowing. Creek, however, doesn’t let up and rolls to the floor. He then walks over to Xander and grabs him, but just then, Xander lifts Creek up and runs him across the ringside area and spears him hard into the side of the Thunderdome. The crowd ohs as Creek and Valentine end up in a heap. Xander then rolls over and looks around before reaching under the ring. He then grabs something as Evans runs over to the ropes and reaches through, but Xander then turns and swings, catching Evans with a steel chair. Evans falls back as the crowd roars.
Sharper: “And Valentine with a chair!”
Knots: “So we’re going to do that?!”
Sharper: “Of course. It’s no holds barred and Xander Valentine is going to use everything in his war he’s waged.”
Xander then turns and looks at Creek as Creek starts to get up and Valentine turns and slams the chair into his back. Creek drops to the floor. Xander then turns and rolls into the ring. Evans starts to get up and Xander steps over to him and drives the seat edge of the chair into the ribs of Evans. He then takes the chair and slams it into Evans’s back. Evans drops to the mat. Xander throws the chair down. He then grabs Evans and drags him up. He then scoops him up and hits a sidewalk slam onto the chair. He pulls back on the legs.
1!
2!
Evans kicks out. Xander rolls off and then runs into the ropes, bouncing off and hitting a running elbow drop to the chest of the World Champion.
Sharper: “And Valentine focusing on the World Champion. Focusing on Evans.”
Knots: “He’s trying to end it early!”
Sharper: “Or maybe he’s looking to test Creek and Aries. But Creek still down from that chair shot and Aries, he’s still in a heap.”
The cameras catch a shot of Aries as we see him looking out of one eye, keeping the other closed.
Sharper “Or maybe not.”
Knots: “Come on Giovanni! This is your moment. Don’t just let it go by.”
Heaven leans on the Thunderdome as Xander grabs Evans and drags him up and turns and whips him hard into the corner. He then turns and runs at him and clotheslines him. He then turns around as Giovanni Aries suddenly gets up and runs over and hits a lunging double chop to the throat. Xander hits the mat. Aries then dives onto him and nails him with hard right hands over and over the crowd boos as Aries then moves to a mount and rains rights and lefts down onto Xander Valentine. Xander tries to block them as Aries keeps throwing lefts and rights before Xander grabs his left arm and then blocks the right. He turns Aries over and then gets his arm free, but Creek reaches in from the floor, grabbing Xander’s ankle. This causes him to slide back just enough as Evans runs out and boots Xander in the face. The crowd ohs and boos.
Sharper: “And the triple team!”
Knots: “Creek had the leg. Evans got the shot and look at Aries. Brilliant! Brilliant!”
Aries rolls over, laughing as Evans then walks around the ring. Creek slides into the ring and Aries then stomps Xander in the face once and then again before Evans turns and goes to the chair. He lifts it up and looks at Xander. Xander starts to roll over and Creek looks at Evans and Aries before Evans then turns and swings, slamming the chair violently into the back of Xander. Xander collapses to the mat. The crowd ohs.
Knots: “That’s going to make you weak in the knees!”
Sharper: “Just…god, like a shotgun blast going off!”
Evans then motions to Aries and Creek to get him up again. Aries walks over to the arms of Xander as Creek looks at Xander and takes a moment longer, before then grabbing the legs and helping lift him up. They keep him bent over and Creek steps back as Evans steps up and slams the chair violently into the lower back of Xander for a second time. Xander collapses to the mat. Evans then turns and unfolds the chair. He places it down in the ring. Aries doesn’t hesitate, already knowing what Evans is thinking. Creek looks on for a moment before they then pull Xander together. Evans then steps up and pushes Xander into the robs as Aries and Creek step back and Evans whips Xander towards them. Creek and Aries hoist Xander up, dropping him throat first on the back of the chair. The crowd ohs as Xander rolls over, holding his throat in pain. Creek then looks at Xander. Evans then walks over to Xander and shakes his head.
Evans: “You think we’re just going to pin him. This is going to be where he’s buried! He’s not walking out. So you want him…this is your only chance!”
Creek and Evans look at one another. Heaven and Aries both watching, albeit from different posts. Creek then steps up and grabs Xander and pulls him up.
Sharper: “Evans just making it clear. This is now going to be a beatdown.”
Knots: “And you said it…this only ends by pinfall or submission!”
Creek then pushes Xander to the ropes and nails him with a hard right and then another and another and another. He pushes Xander against the ropes, making sure to get a good angle before he continues to nail him with repeated right hands. Xander falls to a knee as we see a cut opening over the eye of Xander. Creek gets a couple more shots in before Xander drops to a knee. Evans then nods as Creek backs up and walks around the ring. He looks at his fist as Giovanni gets a cheap shot in, nailing Xander with a hard left. Xander falls to a knee. Evans then grabs him and lifts him up and leans him against the middle rope and Evans nails him with a couple of hard right hands for good measure. He then drags him out before then hitting a vertical suplex. Xander winces. Evans slowly gets up. He then looks at Xander and stomps him in the shoulder. He slowly walks around and stomps him in the ribs before then going to the knee and then moving to the other leg and stomping him in the thigh.
Sharper: “Just a series of stomps and this is turning into allowed torture-“
Knots: “That he signed up for!”
Evans then stomps him in the head. Xander rolls over and Creek heads over to him and grabs him. He then pulls him up to his feet and nails him with a shot to the stomach but Xander then fires back with a haymaker to Creek’s jaw. Evans runs over and Xander boots him in the face. The crowd roars as Xander steps up and Aries kicks him in the ribs and hits the Bad Trip.
Sharper: “And Xander with a brief volley, but Aries right there.”
Knots: “Aries…see, all is good. They’re operating as a team. His hope to tear them apart failed!”
Aries rolls over as Evans holds his jaw and sees Xander down and Xander rolls over and Evans stands over him and nails him with a crossface punch before alternating lefts and rights before pushing him down. Xander drops to a mat. He winces as Creek then heads over and grabs Xander. He then starts to pull him up and pumphandles him. He then hoists him up and drops him with a pumphandle slam. The crowd ohs. Creek, however, leans forward, pressing down on his Xander, having lost balance. Demitra counts.
1!
2!
Creek pushes off, realizing the fall is being counted and Creek turns and Evans looks at him. Aries too. Creek just rolls his eyes.
Creek: “I lost balance…”
Evans looks at Creek. Evans then extends an arm. Aries then reluctantly follows and they pull Creek up. Evans then turns to Creek and leans in, whispering something in his ear. Creek nods and walks past Evans and Aries and exits to the floor. He starts to look under the ring. Evans and Aries then turn back to Xander and both grab him, but Xander then headbutts Evans. Aries nails Xander with a couple of hard right, before Xander hits an uppercut. The crowd roars. Evans then runs at Xander, but Xander lets out a yell, pressing Evans over his head before turning and running at the ropes and throwing Evans over the top rope and face first into the side of the Thunderdome. Evans drops down, landing just barely with his feet under him, before slamming hard into the mats. The crowd erupts.
Sharper: “Xander finding another opening. He won’t go down and Evans! Evans into the cage!”
Knots: “Oh God! That landing!”
Creek then stops going for what he was and slides into the ring. Xander hoists Aries up and swings him to one side, dropping him with a bearhug slam. Xander then gets up as Xander sees Creek. Creek looks at him as Xander touches the wound on his head. He then steps up and nails Creek with a hard right. Creek fires back with another one of his own. The two trade blows again as the crowd roars before this time, Creek catches Xander. He pulls him and then turns and spins around and tries to muscle him up, but they take each other up and over the top rope and swing down to the floor. Both land feet first before falling into the steel of the Thunderdome cage.
Sharper: “And Creek and Valentine returning to their fight and up and over!”
Knots: “And into the cage. Creek! Stay on him.”
Xander winces as Creek grabs him and tries to go for the Canary, but Xander blocks it, grabbing Creek’s wrist. He keeps pushing it back before then looking around. Creek pushes on Xander, trying to get him to trip, but Xander backs up and then manages to turn and throws Creek face first into the ring steps. The crowd ohs. Creek falls back. Xander walks around before turning and grabbing Creek. He drags him up and smiles. A gash has opened up over Creek’s left eye from going into the ring steps. Xander then turns and nails him with a hard right and then a left before hitting a right hook. Creek spins down to the floor. Heaven looks on from the other side of the chainlink fencing of the Thunderdome cage.
Sharper: “And Waylon Creek spilling blood now. He went head first into the steel steps.”
Knots: “Oh God…And right in front of Heaven.”
Sharper: “Things not looking too inevitable right now, huh?”
Xander then looks at Heaven before grabbing Creek and dragging him up. He then places his head against the chainlock. Xander looks right at Heaven as he grinds Creek’s face into the chainlink fencing. The crowd cheers as Xander keeps raking it back and forth. Creek pushes off and spins around and Xander kicks him in the ribs. He then suddenly looks up as Xander pulls Creek forward and backs up himself as Aries vaults himself over the top rope and missing Xander, landing on Creek instead!
Sharper: “Aries tried to get Xander. Xander pulled Creek in and Aries took Creek down!”
Knots: “Oh God…he’s getting it together here!”
Sharper: “Evans down. Creek down. And now, Aries…”
Xander turns back as Heaven looks on stunned as Xander drags Aries up and turns and runs him into the steel. He spins around. The camera angle changes, showing Simon Lyman on the floor, by the ring. Demitra is checking on him again as Xander then tells Demitra to move as Xander runs Aries along the floor and throws him face first into the ringpost. Aries spins off and down to the floor. Xander then walks over and grabs Aries and drags him up and rolls him back into the ring. Xander slides in after.
Sharper: “And Xander has his target firmly on Giovanni Aries.”
Knots: “This is falling apart for the Fall of Man.”
Sharper: “Divide and conquer…”
Aries slowly gets up and turns around as Xander grabs him by the throat. He then hoists him up and plants him with a chokeslam.
Sharper: “Divide! And conquer!”
Xander then takes a moment before grabbing Aries and slowly dragging him up again. He then turns him around and goes to run him into the corner. Xander runs forward and shoulders him back in, but Xander steps back, only for Evans to reappear in the ring, having rolled in, but with the aluminum bat and he cracks Xander in the back with it. Xander goes down as the crowd boos. Aries staggers forward and falls to the ropes. He then looks at Xander and then Evans. Evans is also bleeding and he then walks over to Xander and jumps up, cradling the bat, and drives it down into the back of Xander’s head. The crowd ohs. James then gets back up as he walks over and pulls Aries up. Aries runs over and stomps Xander in the back before stomping him in the head and then hitting a leg drop. The crowd boos as Evans continues to focus on Xander as he then pulls Xander up and stands over him before taking the bat and placing it across Xander’s throat, choking him as he pulls back in a variation of a camel clutch. The crowd boos as Xander struggles to breathe. Aries just smiles as Evans keeps pulling back.
Sharper: “The aluminum bat. Xander brought it in and Evans now using it on the Executioner!”
Knots: “Maybe looking to execute him! He’s choking him.”
Sharper: “Meanwhile, Evans helped Aries up. What about Creek-“
Knots: “Don’t you start.”
Demitra looks on, checking on Xander, but Evans snaps at Demitra to get back. Evans keeps the hold on for a moment before letting go. Xander drops to the map. Creek slowly rolls into the ring. Evans then walks over to Creek and looks at him. Creek slowly gets up as Evans then extends the bat to Creek. Creek looks at it and then Evans before grabbing the bat. Xander starts to pull himself up, fighting to his feet. He then lunges for Aries, but Creek steps up and swings the bat into the ribs of Xander. Xander drops down to the mat. Creek then throws the bat down. He then turns and Evans grabs Xander. He then starts to pull him up before dragging him to his feet. Evans then stands behind him and nods. Creek and Aries look at one another and both run into the ropes. Both then run at Xander and nail him with a running clotheslines as Evans hits a release German suplex. Xander rolls through to his stomach.
Sharper: “And Evans throwing Xander back. Fall of Man working together on that one.”
Knots: “And back to how this should be.”
Sharper: “At some point they need to end this if they want to walk out as World Champion.”
Evans gets up as Creek walks around the ring. Evans then tells him to stand in the middle of the ring before going to Aries. Evans and Aries drag Xander up. The crowd looks on, buzzing, many booing, as they then gutwrench Xander up, going for the double dominator. Aries and Evans struggle for a moment as they then move forward. The crowd erupts as Creek grabs Xander, but just then, we see Simon Lyman run up from behind with a steel chair. Creek falls, dropping Xander. Simon then turns and nails Giovanni in the head with the chair, Aries getting his hands up before ducking a shot from James Evans. Lyman turns and throws the chair in the face of Evans. Evans catches it out of insight and Lyman blasts him with the Leading the Revolution, kicking the chair back into Evans’s face. The crowd erupts as Lyman staggers and holds his head and neck.
Knots: “That bastard! Why?!”
Sharper: “Why? They attacked him. They brought him in and Lyman recovered enough to take the three out!”
Xander gets up, wincing as Lyman stands in the ring. Xander then rolls his eyes before suddenly booting Simon Lyman in the face. The crowd ohs and some boo as Lyman rolls over, holding his head and neck. Xander walks around the ring.
Xander: “This is my motherfucking fight!”
Xander lets out an annoyed grunt before turning and Creek gets up and lunges at him but Xander catches him by the throat. He then hoists him up and hits a chokeslam. The crowd roars. Lyman rolls over, holding his jaw. Simon starts to stir and Xander walks over and just grabs him and throws him out of the ring. He shakes his head. He then turns and runs into the ropes, bouncing off and clotheslines Aries down before spinning around and hitting an elbow drop on Creek. He then gets up and looks around before then stopping and looking back at Lyman before then shaking his head and walking over to James Evans, who remains down from the Leading the Revolution superkick.
Sharper: “Xander Valentine now back in control and Simon Lyman with the assist.”
Knots: “Yeah. Simon Lyman getting involved when-“
Sharper: “They brought him in. They were going to finish the task or whatever. And Xander now realizing the opportunity is there for him to take the World Title!”
Knots: “Well they’ve beaten the hell out of each other. All but Aries are bleeding!”
Sharper: “And you’re right about that – they’ve beaten the hell out of one another.”
Sharper: “Valhalla has Fallen! Have the Fall of Man?! Has James Evans’s World Title reign?”
Knots: “No!”
Giovanni Aries starts to get up as Xander gets up and turns, but Waylon Creek runs at him and blasts him with a spear. In the process, Xander’s arm catches Giovanni stiffly in the face. Giovanni falls back. Waylon rolls off of Xander, but we then hear and see Demitra counting.

The camera turns to show Giovanni Aries has landed on James Evans’ body. The crowd looks on stunned as the bell sounds.
Sharper: “Oh my God…”
Phillips: “Fans, here is your winner, via pinfall, and NEW SCW World Champion…Giovanni Aries!”
Heaven looks on stunned from outside of the cage, before then starting to feel a bit relieved. Giovanni Aries looks around, dazed as Creek starts to get up. We then see Amy Chastaine running out from the back, with some bolt cutters, before realizing that Giovanni Aries’s music is playing throughout the arena. She then turns and heads over to the Thunderdome and Simon Lyman winces and starts to look up, from next to the ring, stunned too.
Sharper: “Giovanni Aries….Giovanni Aries is the World Champion?!”
Knots: “It’s still in Fall of Man. It’s still in Fall of Man!”
Sharper: “Giovanni Aries fell on Evans…what happened.”
Amy starts to try to get into the Thunderdome cage, using the bolt cutters as the Taking Hold of the Flame logo comes up on the screen.
REPLAY:
The play begins as we see Xander dropping James Evans with the Valhalla has Fallen. Giovanni Aries starts to get up as Xander gets up and turns, but Waylon Creek runs at him and blasts him with a spear. In the process, Xander’s arm catches Giovanni stiffly in the face.
Sharper: “This is what we saw. I was focused on the monitors and the spear, caught Aries. Aries landing on Evans.”
Knots: “After the Valhalla has Fallen, Evans ended up on his back…”
Giovanni falls back. Waylon rolls off of Xander, but we then hear and see Demitra counting.

3!
The camera turns to show Giovanni Aries has landed on James Evans’ body. The THOTF logo comes up on the screen again and we see it all from a different angle. We see Waylon Creek’s spear on Xander and Xander’s arm swatting Aries in the face. Aries falls back, taking the impact fully, and lands on James Evans’s body.
Sharper: “There you see it. Evans down. Aries landing on him. Shoulders down and the experienced Aaron Demitra in position.”
Knots: “It’s still in Fall of Man though!”
We then see Demitra seeing the pin and counting.
1!
2!
3!
The bell sounds as the THOTF logo comes back up on the screen.
We see Amy Chastaine glancing back as she starts to help Lyman out of the Thunderdome. Xander Valentine turns, looking around as officials are now in the ring too, presumably to keep everyone apart. Giovanni Aries now has the SCW World Championship in his hand and he leans against the ropes, seated on the canvas, looking stunned too. Heaven is in the ring as Creek paces, hands on hips. Evans is still coming to.
Sharper: “Even Giovanni Aries looks stunned!”
Knots: “He didn’t want that! He’s never wanted it!”
Sharper: “Heaven trying to talk to his new champion. James Evans is still down. He doesn’t know.”
Knots: “Xander and Waylon do.”
Sharper: “And now Xander, Waylon, and James have to reset. They’re in the Taking Hold of the Flame. Xander says it’s for the roster to finish the job, but it now is also so Xander can get his chance to finish this job!”
Knots: “Giovanni Aries is World Champion?!”
Amy continues to help Simon to the back as Xander pulls himself to the floor, falling to a knee, and then getting up, annoyed. Waylon Creek continues to pace in disbelief. Aries looks at the World Title as Heaven tries to hype him up as the scene cuts to black.
We open up in an old time Western town. We then see Xander Valentine step out of a saloon. He looks around before we then see James Evans, Scott Reed, Kirsten Scott, Kandis, and David Striker all walking into the middle of the town. A tumbleweed blows by. We then cut to close up shots of each of the people, showing their eyes, some grabbing at the sidearms at their waistbands. Just then, YUYO shows up in full attire and with her staff. It starts to glow.
YUYO: “YUYO is here!”
Striker: “Ah…screw it…”
Striker then suddenly pulls out a shotgun. From where, we don’t know. He then starts to fire. We then hear cackling as we see Derek Adonis running through the area.
Adonis: “KABLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM!”
We hear gunshots and smoke comes from the guns as people run for cover. We see Konrad Raab diving over a railing, before showing a shot of Leroy Adams calmly sipping a beer. The scene goes opaque and the Rise to Greatness XXII logo comes up on the screen.
“Rise to Greatness XXII
Houston, Texas
NRG Stadium
July 27, 2025”
We then cut back to see CHBK, Hiro Tanaka, Lucas Knight, and Dillusion, all wearing sheriffs badges. They all just sigh.
CHBK: “We were gone one minute!”
The scene cuts away.
We return with a locator shot of the outside of the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Knots: “A lot can happen huh. Leroy Adams gone. YUYO disappeared. Scott Reed, dead…or maybe. But the Fall of Man is constant!”
Sharper: “And Rise to Greatness XXII, when we are next with you on pay per view, could have Giovanni Aries headlining the show as the World Champion. The man who hates material things. He wanted to bring down SCW. And clearly the plan was for Evans to retain, but Aries has the title. How does this affect everything in Fall of Man?”
Knots: “It doesn’t! It doesn’t. There’s still the Flame. Still the battle royal, and Evans and Creek are in it. They can finish the job with Xander and then Fall of Man can call the shots.”
Sharper: “Or Xander Valentine…or maybe the rest of SCW can step up and spoil William Heaven’s plans!”
Knots: “No…although if Selena Frost steps up, that could be wonderful. Now that’s the Unbelievable Main Event.”
Colleen MacDonald vs. Derek Adonis
SCW Underground Championship
KABLAAAAAAAAAAM!!!
The sound of a xylophone scale is heard, signifying the start of the KABLAMian
Taberacle Choir's jingle, "Come In KABLAMia"...
Derek Adonis rolls out atop the ramp on a cloud, alongside a number of the
citizens of KABLAMia: Sweet Sangria, Mimi Mimosa, Het Meisje, and Anastasia
Fantasia among them. The crowd rise to their feet in a raucous applause at the
display of flesh in front of them...
Welcome to the land that loves below the belt
The sky’s are clear and pleasure is felt
Come in KABLAMia, come in KABLAMia
Adonis partially rises to his knees, waving out to the crowd as chants of
"KABLAM" ring out throughout the arena. The cloud continues to roll
it's way down the ramp.
Phillips:
“The following contest is scheduled for onefall with a thirty minute time limit
and is for the SCW Underground Championship! First, on the challenger,
accompanied by the KABLAMia Tourism Board, from sunny KABLAMia, he is Man
Mountain, Derek Adonis!”
Where fun-loving people can give right in
To a Man Mountain utopia where everyone wins
Come in KABLAMia, come in KABLAMia
Sweet Sangria always dressed in smile
Many men and women will go the extra mile
Come in KABLAMia, come in KABLAMia
The women on the cloud toss out small, travel-sized bottles of Derek Adonis
Heavy KABLAM Lubricant and folded up travel brochures to the crowd.
The lube flows freely, never enough
It’s a copyrighted formula, the right stuff
But even still they make you feel right at home
Whether you love cleaning the carpet or polishing chrome
The cloud makes it to the bottom of the ramp and Adonis hops off first,
reaching up to help the four primary women off. They step down, each planting a
kiss on the cheek of Man-Mountain before heading up the stairs. Adonis follows
up last and pulls himself through the ropes, lifting them for the four women to
enter the ring as well.
We don’t kink-shame here, it never allowed
It’s a comfortable place while you’re being plowed
Your greatest dreams are always on tap
Your can register now with our convenient app
Adonis moves around to the four corners, climbing onto the bottom rope to throw
out travel brochures as far as he can.
That’s right, KABLAM is expanding…
It’s the dream of Derek Adonis
Come in KABLAMia, sunny KABLAMia
We mean YOU!
After finishing (heh), Adonis moves to the middle of the ring, posing with the
four women around him. As the song ends, he bellows out with it...
Adonis: "KABLAAAAAAAAAAAAM!"
Sharper: “This is going to be part title match, part tourism push. Adonis has claimed to be his own definition of underground, just as Colleen finished showing Kimberly Williams what the Underground Division means to her.”
Knots: “Don’t worry. I’m here to help. I did my research. I spent past of this week in KABLAMia and trust me, I’m ready. I’m told Adonis has some items planned to help highlight what is available to those who wish to come to KABLAMia to relax…except Konrad Raab. Not him.”
A coin can be heard dropping into a coin slot, followed by a few girls giggling. But before “C’est La Vie” by B*Witched can even begin, Colleen steps out onto the stage from the backstage area, wearing her normal all-black ring gear. The SCW Underground Championship is around her waist. Colleen does a cutthroat signal.
Phillips: “His opponent, from Orderville, Utah, she is the SCW Underground Champion, Colleen MacDonald!”
The music turns off as she stands still and waits until the beginning of “How Far I’ll Go” by Auli’i Cravalho begins to play. Colleen nods once before beginning to slowly head down the entrance ramp. The crowd does keep their eyes on her as she looks straight down at the ring. She keeps going until she arrives down at the ring. Not quickening her pace, she steps up the steel ring steps and climbs over the top rope to get into the ring. Once inside she does look around the arena. She simply approves of her surroundings before she turns to the business at hand. She hands off the title and begins warming up before the bell rings. The official, Jennifer Cassidy, raises the title over her head. The SCW Underground Championship logo comes across the screen. She then hands off the title.
Sharper: “I don’t think Colleen will be in the mood for any of Adonis’ hijinx.”
Knots: “Given that Kim even told her, she respects her now, but if she loses, that’s gone. I don’t know how much she cares, but still.”
The bell sounds as Adonis turns away from Sweet Sangria on the floor, and has a pamphlet in his hand. He hands it to Colleen. Colleen looks at it and then just grabs it before crumpling it up and throwing it down. She then nails Adonis with a hard right. The crowd boos as Colleen punches Adonis a second and then a third time. Adonis falls to the ropes. Colleen fires Adonis off. He bounces off and Colleen runs at him and hits a jumping shoulder tackle. Derek rolls over and starts to get up and turns and Colleen runs at him and clotheslines him in the jaw and Adonis falls back through the ropes, dropping down to the floor.
Sharper: “Adonis caught right under the jaw and Colleen sends him to the floor.”
Knots: “Come on Colleen! Hear him out!”
Adonis rolls over and crawls to the ring. He looks under the ring and pulls out something. Colleen exits the ring on another side of the ring and we see Adonis starting to set up a hammock, connecting one side to the ring apron and then going to the barricade.
Knots: “KABLAMia has some of the best weather in the Caribbean and if you just want to relax under the stars, nothing is better than their hammock district.”
Sharper: “I don’t think Colleen cares about hammocks!”
Knots: “But I need to talk about Maryann!”
Colleen comes up behind Adonis and grabs the hammock and places it around his face. Adonis struggles a moment as she pulls back before then pushing it down and wrapping it around Adonis’s head. Adonis keeps struggling, grabbing at the ring ropes and then skirt before Colleen spins him around and into the barricade. The crowd ohs. Colleen lets go and throws the hammock away. She then stomps Adonis in the face once and then again before grabbing him and rolling him into the ring. Colleen rolls in after and goes for the pin.

Adonis kicks out. Colleen gets up as Adonis rolls over. She then grabs him and clubs him in the back once and then again before running into the ropes. She bounces off and Adonis steps up and scoops her up and hits a powerslam. The crowd roars. He then gets up as Colleen slowly starts to get up and Adonis grabs her, but Colleen hits a jawbreaker. Adonis stumbles back and falls through the ropes again. He lands on the floor. He then looks around before looking under the ring. Colleen annoyed gets up and heads over to the ropes. She then reaches out and grabs Adonis, but Adonis then suddenly squeezes a bottle in his hand, causing scented oils to go into the eyes of Colleen. She falls back, holding her eyes and face.
Sharper: “And what was that? Oil? It…smells like lavender.”
Knots: “KABLAMia has a full spa with a wonderful aromatherapy and relaxing massage program!”
Adonis then turns and reaches under as Colleen gets up and annoyed again and steps forward, but slips on some of the oil in the ring. She turns and smacks the apron as Adonis manages to push in a padded massage table into the ring. It takes a moment as the legs get caught on the ropes, but he pulls it in and then climbs up, but Colleen reaches out and grabs him and dumps him into the ring. He rolls over and gets up and Colleen then just rears back and drills him with a vicious clothesline. The crowd ohs.
Sharper: “And a violent clotheslines. Oh boy. That was from downtown!”
Knots: “Adonis, you took a bit too long.”
Colleen hooks the leg.

2!
Adonis kicks out. The crowd cheers as Colleen turns and nails Adonis with a couple of hard right hands to the face. She then gets up and walks around the ring. She then grabs Adonis and drags him up and whips him into the corner. Colleen runs after, but Adonis gets an elbow up. Colleen staggers out and Adonis steps up and scoops her up. He turns and hits a fallaway slam. The crowd ohs. Adonis then turns and walks over to the massage table. He starts to lift it up and leans it up in the corner. He turns back to Colleen and grabs her, but Colleen nails him in the ribs once and then again before Adonis grabs her, but Colleen spins and goes to whip him into the corner, but Adonis spins through and sends her in back first. She grimaces and falls to her knees and then to her back, seemingly catching a corner. The impact however causes the table to fall forward. She catches it and annoyed, throws it off her, but Adonis runs over with an elbow drop. He goes for the pin.

2!
Colleen kicks out.
Sharper: “And Adonis only gets two.”
Knots: “And look at Colleen. You can see she caught a corner. There’s a big bruise forming on her side.”
Sharper: “This may be the most unique Underground match but that doesn’t mean it’s not dangerous.”
Adonis then hits another elbow drop before turning and exiting to the floor. He then looks under the ring again and this time pulls out a surfboard. He then places it against the barricade before looking under the ring again.
Sharper: “A surfboard…”
Knots: “Amazing waves to the south. Just great surfing.”
Sharper: “And what the hell else…”
Knots: “Well…of course, KABLAMia also encourages you to experiment if you’re up for it!”
Adonis pulls out a leather whip. He then does a little jig.
Adonis: “KABLAM!”
He rolls into the ring as Colleen gets up and Adonis looks at her before then placing the whip down and then grabbing Colleen and pulling her back and hooking her in the top. Adonis then turns and grabs the whip and turns and starts to then do a demonstration. Adonis turns and motions to his Tourism Board, bringing Sweet Sangria into the ring. Colleen looks around as Adonis then shows the size of the whip before turning as Sangria leans forward a bit and Adonis lightly uses it on her. The crowd roars. Adonis then extends the whip to Sangria who then playfully uses it on Adonis. Adonis takes it back and extends it to Colleen.
Knots: “We’re getting a free demonstration. And they do this all the time. They have reps who come by and they’re very interactive!”
Sharper: “Uh-huh. There’s a title match going on Jon!”
Knots: “And he’s still asking for consent. That’s the number one rule in KABLAMia!”
Colleen then leans back, getting herself out and then blasts Adonis in the face with a hard right. Sangria quickly moves to exit the ring and Colleen grabs the whip and then turns and swings it at Sangria. She manages to get out of the ring, but Adonis then starts to get up and Colleen whips him in the ass once before nailing him in the back over and over. Adonis moves to the ropes. Colleen then throws the whip away before grabbing Adonis and hoisting him up and hitting a back suplex. Colleen then mounts Adonis and nails him with a series of hard right hands, making sure each one lands and each one registers on Man Mountain. She gets several more shots in and then gets up and runs into the ropes. She bounces off and hits a senton backsplash. She turns and hooks the leg.
1!
2!
Adonis gets his shoulder up. The crowd roars. Colleen looks up and shakes her head. She then grabs Adonis and pulls him up.
Sharper: “Colleen just now more and more upset. She sees Adonis making a
mockery of this match and her title. He’s just being Man Mountain, although I
don’t think this is the time of place.”
Knots: “Millions watching?”
Colleen nails Adonis with a hard right and then a second one. He falls to the ropes. Colleen runs across the ring, bouncing off and goes for a running spear, but Adonis side steps and sends her to the apron. He then steps forward and checks on Sangria. She nods as the other Tourism Board members check on her. Adonis then runs at Colleen and nails her with a running forearm shot and Colleen flies off the apron through the surfboard. The crowd ohs. Colleen rolls over and holds her lower back and Adonis then exits to the apron. He then sees Colleen and runs along the apron and hits a running splash onto her. The crowd roars. Cassidy exits the ring as Adonis covers her.
Sharper: “Falls count anywhere! Splash off the apron!”
1!
2!
Colleen gets her shoulder up. The crowd ohs. Adonis then gets up and grabs Colleen. He drags her up and moves her to the ring and rolls her in. Colleen rolls over as Adonis slides in after. He then grabs Colleen and then goes to whip her into the ropes, but Colleen spins through and sends Adonis in. Colleen winces and runs at him and hits a running spear into the ribs. The crowd ohs. She backs up and holds her back before running at Adonis and hitting a running backsplash into the corner. Adonis slides down to a seated position as Colleen moves across the ring and runs across and hits a running hip check to the face of Adonis. The crowd ohs. She then runs across and then hits a second running hip check. Colleen staggers forward as Adonis rolls over out of the corner.
Sharper: “Good lord. Colleen MacDonald just turning up the intensity.”
Knots: “The sad reality is that there is someone at-“
Sharper: “I don’t want to know.”
Colleen then walks over and grabs Adonis and runs him over and drives him face first into the top of the ringpost. Adonis stumbles back and Colleen then grabs him and drives him down with the Collapser. She then remains seated on him for the pin.

3!
The bell sounds. Colleen rolls off and then gets up. The official goes over and is handed the SCW Underground Championship. She turns back and hands the title to Colleen. Colleen takes it and looks at Adonis.
Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, and STILL SCW Underground Champion, Colleen MacDonald!”
Sharper: “Colleen MacDonald has certainly proven herself this year as champion and tonight, she found something else. She’s not going to stand there and be used as an example.”
Knots: “But we know so much more about KABLAMia!”
Sharper: “Don’t tell her that. And you wonder who will step up next to challenge MacDonald for the Underground Championship.”
Colleen looks around as the scene cuts backstage.
Backstage, we see David Striker watching the monitor and nodding.
Striker: “That’s how you do it. Don’t let that tub of goo disrespect you like that.”
Striker turns as Irvine heads over.
Irvine: “She won?”
Striker: “Of course!”
Gibson: “Would’ve rather been out there. I hate this waiting-“
Striker: “Black summoning Dumont. This is just…I don’t want to play this game.”
Irvine: “We can have you not able to travel. Not these days.”
Striker: “Hands tied. But they better be soon.”
The door opens as Chris Dumont walks into the room. Striker stands up and turns to him.
Striker: “Tell me heads can roll-“
Dumont scoffs.
Dumont: “The old bastard just wants us to wait. I called him out on it. I heard the son of a bitch was the Master of Mind Games and he’s right now getting played like a fiddle by Heaven and his bullshit.”
Striker: “Wait for what?’
Dumont: “To see what tonight does to them. I don’t care. They’re still breathing. HE…is still breathing. And we can’t touch him. We can’t do anything to him because he’s a damn coward and-“
Striker: “So that was it. Summoned you, just to wait?”
Dumont: “Yeah…”
Striker shakes his head.
Irvine: “So what are you going to do?”
Dumont: “Send a message.”
Dumont then walks over to his bag and reached inside as we cut away.
Veil vs. Dexter Grant
SCW Adrenaline Championship
The lights dim slowly. One light at a time. Like the whole building is giving up. The crowd gets quiet. A low, eerie sound starts over the speakers. “The Host of Seraphim” begins to play.
Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall with a thirty minute time limit and is for the SCW Adrenaline Championship! First, the challenger, this is Veil!”
Soft voices rise up—not words, just sounds. Like ghosts singing from far away.
Slow. Sad. Heavy.
The tron doesn’t show highlights or action.
It shows a spiral, barely moving, turning backwards.
Mist starts to crawl from the entrance.
It stays low to the ground, almost like it’s afraid to rise.
It’s not thick. It’s not fast. It’s slow, like smoke under water.
Then, Veil steps through it.
No fireworks. No lasers. No flashing lights.
No big poses.
Just him.
Barefoot.
Slow.
Arms at his sides.
He doesn’t make eye contact with the crowd.
He doesn’t play to the cameras.
He just walks.
Every step is heavy, like the ground almost sinks under him.
His face is pale. His eyes are wide open but dead still—like he’s looking
straight through everything. As he walks, the mist behind him spreads out
across the stage and the ramp, almost like it’s following him, drawn to him.
The song gets a little louder.
The voices rise higher—not screaming, just crying.
Mourning something nobody can name.
The spiral on the screen behind him turns slower and slower, almost stopping.
Veil reaches the ring. He doesn’t look around. He steps up onto the apron, slow
and steady, and then steps between the ropes. He walks straight to the middle
of the ring. There, he stops. He crouches down. He places one open hand flat on
the mat. He lowers his head. He whispers something no one can hear. The spiral
on the tron behind him flashes once—then fades out into black. The mist in the
ring sinks low. The music fades. The lights stay dim, just enough to see him.
Veil stands there. Waiting. Still. Silent.
Sharper: “Veil earning this shot at Rebirth by defeating Kirsten Scott. And now, tonight, Veil could win his second title in SCW.”
Knots: “He has to get through Dexter Grant. And Grant, he’ll not get sucked in by this…this…I don’t know.”
Sharper: “Just sapped of all of that energy. Almost just like a damn zombie!”
“TokSik” by Starset hits as the lights in the arena immediately go out, a series of green spotlights converging onto the stage where fog has begun to consume it. The big screen show's a human eye opening, and reflecting in it is a montage of people glued to their phones and computers, either consuming or producing social media garbage as they all look sickly while doing so. “The Digital Detoxer” Dexter Grant marches out through the fog, stopping at the edge of the stage and staring out at the fans with disgust. The SCW Adrenaline Championship sits over his shoulder. A few cheers can be heard, but they're easily drowned out by all the boos raining down upon him. He turns his head to his right just in time to see his faithful flunky Wendell march out behind him, proudly holding up a protest sign that has the circle-backslash symbol with a wi-fi symbol behind the backslash and the words “DISCONNECT TO RECONNECT” written within the circle.
Phillips: “His opponent, accompanied by Wendell, from Off the Grid, he is the SCW Adrenaline Champion, The Digital Detoxer, Dexter Grant!”
Wendell eagerly looks up at Dexter, who smiles and nods in approval before he starts storming down to the ring, his disgusted look returning at the sound of all the people around him who just refuse to listen to his message. He jumps up onto the apron and aggressively steps through the ropes, marching to the center of the ring and turning his back to the hard cam as he points his thumb to the same “DISCONNECT TO RECONNECT” logo of his on the back of his vest. Wendell crawls into the ring and stands beside Dexter, proudly holding up his sign before looking legitimately confused as to why they're being booed. The lights return to normal as Dexter starts to pace around the ring before demanding a microphone.
Sharper: “Grant wanted to do the absolute minimum in promoting this match. No social media. No anything like that. Nothing new there. But that’s just par for the course.”
Knots: “And he’s going to take some time to let the world know how he feels!”
Grant is handed Phillips’s microphone. He turns back to the middle of the ring and looks at Veil.
Grant: “Looks like SCW doesn’t want me to have time to spread my message to these fans and try to help them disconnect to reconnect, but tonight, my message is specific to you Veil.”
The crowd roars.
Grant: “You stand here and look at you… a shell of a man. Almost comatosed, all because you’re probably a slave to your methods. The disembodied voice. The lights going off. The so called supernatural powers. You need to have the light show just to have a chance when if you just applied yourself, you may have an opportunity to actually take this title from me and-“
Just then, the lights go out. The crowd roars.
Grant: “Hey! Hey! This is not fair! This is-“
The lights return as Veil is behind Grant. Veil then runs over and clotheslines him down from behind. The Adrenaline Championship bounces away from Grant as the bell sounds. Referee Steven Hollinsworth grabs the title and hands it off as the SCW Adrenaline Championship logo comes across the screen. Veil then grabs Grant and runs him over to the corner. Grant turns and Veil drives his shoulder into the ribs of Grant over and over and over again. Hollinsworth calls for the break.

Veil steps back and looks at Hollinsworth. Hollinsworth backs up. Veil stalks him briefly.
Sharper: “And Veil using those tricks to get the advantage.”
Knots: “How is that fair?!”
Sharper: “It’s not, but Veil certainly doesn’t care. And some of these fans are even cheering for Veil!”
Veil turns back as Grant steps out and throws a hard right, but Veil blocks it and nails him with one of his own. Grant falls back into the corner and Veil then hits a back elbow before stepping back and hitting a second one. He grabs Grant and whips him across the ring. Veil then walks across the ring as Grant kicks him in the ribs. He kicks him again and then grabs Veil and throws him into the middle turnbuckle. Grant walks out, wincing in pain and spins around as Veil then gets up and turns slowly. Grant jumps up and dropkicks him in the jaw. Veil falls back into the corner.
Sharper: “Grant with a nice dropkick.”
Knots: “And time for him to go to town. Trying to deal with this magician! This trickster!”
Sharper: “You going to say that to Veil’s face?”
Grant then gets up and nails him with a hard right and then another and another and another. Veil falls to a knee. Grant keeps pounding away.
1!
2!
3!
4!
Grant backs up and walks around the ring. He then steps over and goes to Veil who lifts Grant up and steps forward and then throws him up only to club him with a clothesline. Grant lands awkwardly as the crowd ohs. Veil then goes for the lateral press.
1!
2!
Grant kicks out. He turns and rolls over and starts to get up and Veil grabs him by the head and hair. Grant tries to pull away and kicks him in the ribs before stomping Veil on his bare feet. Veil grimaces and Grant then hits a hip throw. Veil rolls over. He starts to get up and Grant runs into the ropes, bouncing off, and hits a running knee strike.
Sharper: “Grant with the jumping knee to the face. Veil dropped.”
Knots: “After possibly breaking his feet, his toes…”
Veil sits up and starts to get up and Grant runs over and nails him with a hard right. He then grabs Veil, dragging him across and throwing him face first into the nearby turnbuckle. Veil turns and Grant kicks him in the ribs over and over and Veil slides down to a seated position. Veil looks up as Grant then leans in, choking him with his foot.
1!
2!
3!

Grant is forced back and walks around the ring. Veil remains down and Grant then runs at him and hits a running knee to the head. Veil slinks down. Grant grabs him and drags him out from the corner. He then goes for the pin.
1!
2!
Veil kicks out. He sits up again and Grant turns and stomps him in the head and then the shoulder .Veil turns and Grant stomps him again. Veil pops up and staggers around. Grant then runs over and grabs him and goes to whip him into the ropes. Veil, however, spins through and sends Grant in. Grant bounces off and Veil just launches him on the rebound and Grant crashes down to the mat with a flapjack.
Sharper: “Almost soulless. Veil, showing no emotion, and then just launching Grant into the air.”
Knots: “No celebration. Nothing. Just absorbing what Grant is giving him.”
Grant rolls over. He holds his ribs and gets up and Veil grabs him by the throat and pushes him into the corner. The crowd roars as Veil leans in, choking Grant.

Grant gets his shoulder up. Grant crawls to the ropes. He starts to get up and turns around only for Veil to scoop him up and snap him down with a swift side slam. Grant winces as Veil gets up and then hits a pointed elbow drop to his throat.
Sharper: “Right to the throat.”
Knots: “Just the different tempos of the moves and everything just has everything behind it.”
Sharper: “And here’s another pin attempt!”
Veil goes for the pin.

Grant kicks out. He turns and Veil grabs him by the head and hair and pulls him up, but Grant hits a jawjacker. Veil falls to his knees. Grant then starts to get up and Veil steps up, but Grant also steps up and spins through with the Clickbait. The crowd ohs. Veil drops. Grant goes for the pin.

Veil gets his shoulder up. Grant rolls off and looks around and then to Veil. He gets up and turns and drives an elbow to his chest and then another and another. Grant then gets up and looks around but Veil starts to sit up again.
Knots: “Veil just won’t stay down!”
Sharper: “And Grant is finding that out. And you can see the fatigue in his body language! Grant is exhausted in this!”
Veil then starts to get up and Grant grabs him from behind. He starts to try and lock in a cobra clutch. The crowd roars as he tries to lock it in, but Veil blocks it. Grant keeps trying and Veil then pulls Grant forward, causing him to flip through. Grant gets up and Veil grabs his arm and then hits the Grave Silence! The crowd ohs. Veil goes for the pin.

Grant gets his shoulder up. He rolls over as Wendell paces at ringside. Veil then gets up and grabs Grant and pulls him up and hooks him up before going for a back suplex. Grant however leans forward and manages to grab the top rope. Veil tries to pull him up again and then again, but Grant refuses to let go.
Sharper: “Grant blocking that back suplex and he clearly did his homework. That suplex, that suplex that Veil hit multiple times on Kirsten Scott is one reason Scott is on the injured list.”
Knots: “And he doesn’t want to join Grant there. He has a mission to complete!”
Veil then clubs Grant in the back over and over and over. The official calls for the break. Wendell runs around and Veil tries to lift him up, but Wendell pulls on Grant’s foot. The official doesn’t see it at first, but Veil throws Grant back and then looks at Wendell. Wendell backs up as he looks around. Veil just walks to the ropes, glaring at Wendell. Wendell gulps, backing up and falling to his backside, tripping on his feet. Veil then goes to step through, but Grant nails him in the back of the head before then placing Veil on the middle rope. He leans on his back, choking him on the ropes.
Grant: “See! The example of the generation! No focus! No attention on what matters! And no tricks will stop this and-“
Grant is forced off as during this time, the official starts his five count. Grant backs off and he heads over and Veil then turns and Grant grabs him, but Veil headbutts him in the stomach. He then hits a kneeling throat thrust as Grant staggers back.
Sharper: “And that will keep Grant quiet!”
Knots: “Grant! You should’ve put him away!”
Veil then walks over and grabs Grant’s arm and starts to set up for Final Thread. He then grabs the other arm and goes to lift him up, but Grant manages to lean forward and falls forward. Veil goes throat first into the top rope. He staggers back. He then shakes it off, but Grant then gets up and hits the Unwanted Notification. The crowd ohs as Veil falls back. He then slowly rolls over, almost absorbing the shot. Dexter Grant pulls himself up and Veil slowly pulls himself up only for Grant to grab him, spinning him around and then hooking him up and dropping him with the Detox Drop. The crowd boos.
Sharper: “And the Detox Drop! Grant did not hesitate at all. Veil was getting back up.”
Knots: “And he just noped right up to dropping him on his head!”
Grant goes for the pin.

The bell sounds as Grant rolls off. He then looks at Veil before starting to get up. The crowd boos as his music plays. Hollinsworth raises Grant’s arm and Grant pulls away. Wendell heads over and grabs the Adrenaline Championship.
Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, and STILL SCW Adrenaline Champion, Dexter Grant!”
Grant then looks at Veil, glancing at his body, as Veil remains down. Grant then backs up and exits the ring, dropping down to the floor. He then looks around as Wendell takes the title and walks around the ring.
Sharper: “Grant retaining the Adrenaline Championship-“
Knots: “Just get out of there. Just get out of dodge. You don’t need to find out if the bogeyman is real!”
Sharper: “Wendell with the title. Grant leaving the ring. Still Adrenaline Champion. And we’ll see him again later as he is one of the forty in the Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal!”
Grant continues to head to the back as Wendell looks around, watching for anything from Veil as we cut away.
Sharper: “Let’s go backstage to Jaina Lancaster who is outside of the Fall of Man dressing room.”
We cut to the backstage area. Jaina Lancaster looks at the camera.
Jaina: “Thank you Adam. I’ve been outside of the Fall of Man locker room since they returned from the Thunderdome match. We’ve had no indication of anything. All I can say is that Aries was smirking the entire time he held the title. James Evans was incensed, Waylon Creek had a distant glare, and Heaven did not reveal anything. Having a great poker face. The fact is that we don’t know what this means. They’ve already tried to play fast and loose with the Tag Titles. Could they do the same thing now with the World Title. The question is…would that actually deepen the potential rifts we believe may be there, all from their own egos. Creek wants the title. He wanted to win it. But previously Evans had the title on lockdown.”
Just then, Jaina turns as we see Selena Frost walking into the frame. She looks at the door and then to Jaina. The crowd boos seeing the Snow Queen.
Frost: “So sad what an ego will do to someone. Or several someones. A shame. I had hoped I’d be going up against Xander. To finish him off once and for all at Rise to Greatness.”
She shrugs.
Frost: “It doesn’t matter who is champion. They’ll have to face me. And this is my world…believe it or not.”
Selena looks at Jaina before walking past. The crowd boos as the scene cuts away.
Jordan Majors vs. Asher Hayes
Interim SCW United States Championship
"Hater
era"
A laugh can be heard before the opening sounds of Overdose by Memphis May Fire
begin. The song quickly picks up pace as purple, pink, and yellow lights shine
throughout the arena, emanating from the stage.
The song plays for some time before Jordan Majors walks out to the middle of
the stage and turns around and puts her arms straight out as she looks down.
The camera pans in to her leather jacket to see #HaterEra emblazoned on the
back. She bobs her head to the music before turning and looking directly toward
the ring. She kneels down and taps a fist into the ground before she grins and
begins to make her way toward the ring at her own pace.
Phillips:
“The following contest is scheduled for onefall with a thirty minute time limit
and is for the interim SCW United States Championship! First, the challenger,
from Chicago, Illinois, she is the Star of Today, Jordan Majors!”
She ignores the crowd on each side of the ramp as she slowly walks to the area
just outside of the ring. Majors makes her way to the ring steps and slaps them
twice before she runs up and jumps to the middle rope from the outside of the
turnbuckle. She screams out to the crowd and points to herself before she grins
and strikes a pose in the corner with her arms stretched out to each side.
Jordan hops over the top rope and into the ring and removes her jacket. She
tosses it out of the ring before she walks to the ropes and climbs through to
the middle rope. She sits on the rope and nods her head before she ducks back
into the ring. Jordan makes her way to her corner and sits on the top rope as
she waits for the match to begin.
Sharper: “Jordan Majors finally in the ring to maybe sort this out.”
Knots: “This may be the first title match where both are angry about how they’re introduced!”
Sharper: “Majors keep acting like she’s the legitimate champion because she pinned Asher Hayes as they partied south of the border.”
Knots: “She’s got a point.”
Sharper: “It’s not sanctioned, Jon!”
Knots: “That you know of!”
The opening riff to "Song for the Dead" by Queens of the Stone Age kicks in. At the 37 second mark, the name "Asher Hayes" blares through the PA system, and Asher appears on the stage, wearing a long leather jacket, his face full of focus. He bows down for a few moments before standing up straight, throwing both fists in the air, before making his way towards the ring. The interim SCW United States Championship sits over his shoulder.
Phillips:
“Her opponent, from Chicago, Illinois, he is the SCW interim United States
Champion, he is Asher Hayes!”
“It's late enough to go driving
And see what's mine
Life's the study of dying
How to do it right"
He makes his way down the ramp as the reaction of the crowd rains down upon
him. He walks up the ring steps and climbs to the top turnbuckle, lifting both
fists into the air, slinging the jacket off his shoulders, simply looking
at the crowd before dropping down to the apron. He then steps into the
ring and the crowd roars as Majors runs at him and goes for a spinning crescent
kick to the head. Hayes ducks and the bell sounds as both spin around. Hayes
then catches Majors and hits a northern lights suplex into a bridge!
Sharper: “Majors right at Hayes! And Hayes caught her!”
Knots: “Majors! No!”

Majors kicks out. Both get up and Hayes slides his jacket down his arms before throwing it to the side. The official, Aaron Demitra, grabs the interim US Title and hands it off as the SCW United States Championship logo comes across the screen. The crowd cheers as Majors pops up and staggers to the corner. Hayes runs after and chops her. The crowd woos. He chops her again, leading to more woos, before he whips her across the ring. Majors flips up the turnbuckle and to the apron. She ends up on her feet and Hayes runs at her and forearms her off, launching her off the apron and into the barricade. (1)
Sharper: “And Hayes launching Majors off the apron.”
Knots: “She’d be eliminated if this was the battle royal!”
Sharper: “And Hayes not stopping!”
Hayes steps through the ropes and to the floor. Majors starts to get up and tries to run past Hayes, but Hayes grabs her by her tights. Sharper: “Majors got that kick in. Two of them. Right flush to the face.”
Knots: “There you go. Now take him down!”
Sharper: “It’s been all Hayes so far.”
Majors then climbs up to the top rope as Hayes gets up and turns and Majors hits a top rope front dropkick. Hayes falls back as Majors lands back first to the mat. She grimaces and gets up. Hayes rolls over and moves to his knees and Majors lunges and hits a straight kick to the side of his head. The crowd ohs and Majors then steps back and hits a shoot kick to his head. Hayes then hooks her up and hoists her up and hits a front suplex onto the top rope. Majors winces in pain as she hangs up and Hayes runs into the ropes, bounces off and hits a running boot to the face. Majors falls back and down to the floor. (1)
Sharper: “What a kick! Hayes clearly driven by frustration at everything Majors has put him through.”
Knots: “Like he didn’t do it to himself. He went with Majors. And he’s always wanted more with her. That’s what Majors implied and look at him. The man’s a dirt bag!”
Hayes turns and exits to the apron. He hops down and grabs Majors. (1) Majors however grabs Hayes by the tights and pulls him in, shoulder first into the ringsteps. They bowl over as the crowd ohs. (2) Majors rolls over and looks around. (6) Hayes rolls over, holding his face. (7)
Sharper: “She’s going to let him get counted out?!”
Knots: “Why not? She’s the rightful champion. She should’ve been announced the champion coming in. Champion’s advantage!”
Sharper: “She’s not recognized as the champ, Jon! My God!”
Majors starts to get up as Hayes moves to the ring. (8) He starts to get up and slides into the ring and Majors runs over and stomps him in the back. He stomps him again and again and again before pulling him up and then dropping him back down with a spike DDT. Majors turns and hooks the leg.

Sharper: “Another nearfall. Majors keeping the pressure now on Hayes, but using every short-cut she can think of.”
Knots: “She has a five count! Plus, champion’s ad-“
Sharper: “Don’t you dare tell me she has some damn advantage. She is the challenger, Jon.”
Knots: “Hey! I’m Team Jordan!”
Hayes rolls over and starts to get up and Majors waits for him to get up and nails him with a forearm shot to the jaw. Hayes staggers to the ropes. Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, and still interim SCW United States Champion, Asher Hayes!”
Hayes rolls over and gets up as Demitra turns and goes to the ropes where he’s handed the SCW United States Championship belt. But Hayes turns, only for Majors to lunge and hit the Cash Out. The crowd ohs and boos. Hayes rolls over, holding his face as Majors then gets up to her knees. Demitra turns and Majors gets up and grabs the title, ripping it out of Demitra’s hands. She then shoves him down and the crowd boos some more. Majors then holds the title over her head, getting more boos.
Sharper: “Hayes won the match. And so there goes your legit fantasy there, Jon, and Jordan!”
Knots: “But possession-“
Sharper: “Don’t start with that now!”
Knots: “That’s your title! In my heart and yours, Jordan!”
Jordan Majors holds the title for a moment longer as Hayes grabs at the ropes. He uses them to fight up to his feet. He holds his jaw and then gets up and turns around only for Majors to run at him and drill him in the head with the title belt. The crowd boos as Hayes drops to the mat, laid out in the ring. Majors then looks over to him and stands over him. She then looks down.
Majors: “You’ll always be beneath me…or wish you were, you piece of shit!”
Majors then smirks as she steps forward, but the crowd roars as we see La Pequena Luz running down from the back. She bolts down the entrance way and slides into the ring. Majors backs up, holding her hand up and drops down to the mat. She then rolls to the floor. Luz gets up and runs over and points to the title and then grabs the top rope, as if going to launch herself over. Majors quickly holds her hands up again and places the US Title on the apron.
Sharper: “Luz coming out. La Pequena Luz – she helped Hayes physically get his title back in April.”
Knots: “That’s Jordan’s!”
Sharper: “It’s Asher’s! And Luz…making it clear, Jordan has a choice.”
Majors backs up as Luz leans over and grabs the title. She then backs up as Majors backs away from the ring. Luz turns back and goes over to Hayes, placing the title next to him. She checks on him, but Majors then slides into the ring behind Luz. She runs at Luz and jumps up and grabs Luz by the head and hits the Cash Out on Luz, driving her into the body of Hayes. The crowd ohs. Majors rolls off and turns, smirking. Luz is laid out on top of Hayes, her legs ending up around Hayes’s waist. Majors gets up and walks over to them.
Sharper: “Cash Out on Luz onto Hayes!”
Knots: “Have some shame, Asher!”
Sharper: “Stop it!”
Demitra tells her to get back. Majors point to a camera.
Majors: “He can’t help himself! And neither can she apparently…”
Majors looks at them before Amelia Nevado is shown jogging down to he ring. She slides in and Majors turns, grabbing the US Title, and rolls out of the ring. She backs up and Amelia heads over to Luz and checks on her as Demitra rolls Luz off of Hayes. Amelia pops her head up, watching for Majors as she just laughs and heads up the rampway.
Sharper: “Jordan Majors has the damn title again!”
Knots: “Amelia…ask your wife-“
Sharper: “She’s not an idiot, Jon. She saw exactly what happened. Jordan Majors…a true homewrecker!”
Knots: “Hey!”
Sharper: “And she’s learned nothing, even with Hayes defeating her tonight!”
Majors continues to head to the backs Luz holds her head and neck as Amelia checks on her, as Demitra checks on Hayes.
We then cut to a shot in the suites of Caesars Superdome to see Glory Braddock watching the event. She has a glass of white wine in her hand as she takes a sip. The crowd around her cheers as she stands up and plays to them a bit.
Sharper: “And there you see Glory Braddock. She opted out of the Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal. She was to be number one. She decided that she could be patient and tonight, is watching from that suite here in the Superdome.”
Knots: “Hope she’s enjoying the view.”
Sharper: “And she’s going to watch forty individuals compete for a World Championship shot.”
We suddenly cut backstage as we see Jordan Majors, still in her gear, running through the backstage area, holding the US title. She then runs out one of the back doors as the cameras follow her. She then runs over to a 2022 Chrysler Pacifica and opens the door. She quickly turns the ignition and laughs before she starts to drive off.
We cut back to ringside to see Asher Hayes being helped to the back by officials. The bell then sounds. We see Jason Phillips in the ring. He looks to his side before then turning back to the main camera.
Forty Person Taking Hold of the Flame Battle Royal
Phillips: “Fans…it is now time for the 2025 Forty Person Taking Hold of the Flame Battle Royal!”
The crowd cheers loudly.
Phillips: “The rules are as follows. Two individuals will start in the ring. Every ninety seconds, a new individual will enter the battle royal until all forty have entered. Individuals are eliminated if they are thrown over the top rope and both feet touch the floor. The winner, who is the last person standing, will go on to Rise to Greatness XXII to challenge for the SCW World Championship!”
Glory Braddock watches, sipping on her wine.
Phillips: “Now to find out who drew numbers one and two!”
The crowd roars as the cameras pan toward the entrance
way. The arena is quiet, with a palpable sense of expectancy in the
air as the lights go off. An ethereal blue glow is projected onto the entry
ramp by a lone floodlight that breaks through the darkness. The crowd trembles
with eagerness as L'Impératrice's "A View to a Kill" pulsates
synthesizers burst the stillness.
A silhouette appears out of the darkness, clad in a shimmering silver cloak
that seems to both reflect and absorb the light. The coat flutters about her as
she moves, giving her enticing peeks of the wrestling gear in silver and black
underneath. Her face is hidden behind a mask of steely resolve, framed by the
hood.
Phillips:
“Entering at number one, she hails from Miami, Florida, she is the Lost
Monarch, Ryan LeCavalier!”
The moment Ryan LeCavalier, as "The Lost Monarch," removes her hood
and shows off her icy-focused eyes, the audience screams. At the top of the
ramp, she stops and looks out over the crowd like a queen assessing her
subjects. She steps down into the ring and gracefully makes her way to the
turnbuckle, removing her cloak like a snake might remove its skin. With her
eyes fixed on her opponent, she slides into her mouthguard, completing her
transformation. The arena is bustling with the unsaid promise of a great battle
to come, and the air is crackling with suspense. Glory scoffs from her suite.
Sharper: “And looks like CHBK did give Ryan LeCavalier Glory Braddock’s spot. She attacked Braddock, she berated her and she said she would start it off.”
Knots: “Imagine having that big of a chip on your shoulder.”
Sharper: “Well she’s signed her fate here…”
Knots: “Clyde Sutter has to be pleased.”
The sounds of a woman humming over a dense bass drop are heard before slowly “Paint It Black (Epic Trailer Version)” by Hidden Citizens starts to play. The lights go out before we see on the screens, “Cannon” written across them. The crowd erupts in cheers. A few moments pass before a spotlight shines down on the stage showing Chris Cannon walking out from the back in his wrestling robe. He looks out at the crowd as the cheers continue.
Phillips: “And entering at number two, from London, England, he is Chris Cannon!”
Chris Cannon then starts to walk down to the ring.
Sharper: “Chris Cannon, after years away from SCW, he is back!”
Knots: “And he’s coming for the World Title!”
Sharper: “And he’s going to have an uphill climb, but he looks to be in great shape!”
Knots: “Turns out losing about one hundred and twenty pounds helps that happen! I know from experience!”
Chris Cannon walks down to the ring and over to the steel steps. LeCavalier keeps stretching out in the corner as Cannon walks up the steps and then along the apron before stepping into the ring. He looks across at LeCavalier before undoing the clasp of his robe and taking his robe off. He lifts it up and places it over the top rope, letting it fall into a crew member’s hands. He then turns to Ryan as the bell sounds. The crowd roars.
Sharper: “And here we go. The 2025 Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal is off and running!”
Chris steps up as Ryan looks at him. She then shrugs before lunging and forearming Chris in the jaw. She nails him again and again before quickly going for the arm and attempting the Body/Prison. Cannon however blocks it and then then turns and drops down, snapping Ryan off in a variation of an arm drag. She gets to her feet and gets up and Chris kicks her in the ribs. He then scoops her up and slams her down. Ryan rolls over and gets back up as Chris pushes her to the ropes. He then starts to lift her up. The crowd roars as Cannon wastes no time trying to eliminate Ryan LeCavalier. She keeps fighting before reaching up and raking the eyes of Cannon. Cannon turns back and staggers back as Ryan then runs out and hits a diving forearm smash
Sharper: “Back and forth. First time these two have ever been in the ring with either one.”
Knots: “And LeCavalier is just tackling this head on!”
Ryan follows up with a series of hard right hands before Chris shoves her off. She rolls over and gets up and turns and elbows Chris in the back of the head as he gets up. She then chops him. The crowd woos. She chops him again. More woos. She then kicks him in the ribs and pulls him out to the middle of the ring, but Chris suddenly hoists her up onto his shoulders and then hits a fireman’s carry roll. Ryan rolls over, holding her ribs. Chris then grabs her and drags her up before running her into the nearby corner.
Sharper: “And Cannon, both experienced, but that right there was a quick gamechanger.”
Knots: “Turns out getting a man driving himself into your ribs like that makes it hard to breathe!”
Ryan turns and Chris kicks her in the ribs. He whips her across the ring. Ryan hits the corner. Cannon runs after and Ryan gets a boot up. Cannon staggers back and Ryan runs at Cannon and ducks under him before hitting a jumping neckbreaker. The crowd ohs as Cannon rolls over, holding his head and neck in pain. He starts to get up and LeCavalier then grabs him and snapmares him over and kicks him in the back. The countdown clock then starts to come up as Ryan pulls Cannon up, but Cannon turns and pulls Ryan by the tights. Ryan goes through the ropes to the apron before rolling back in.

The buzzer goes and “Sweet but Psycho” by Ava Max plays. The crowd roars as Katie Steward walks out from the back, dressed in her robe. TJ Johnson walks out with her, clapping his hands.
Sharper: “And number three belongs to a woman who has never won this match, but has always risen to the occasion. That would be the only person to win every title in SCW, that’s Katie Steward!”
Knots: “The Goddess Champion. Right?”
Sharper: “Sure. We can give it to her. And she’s hoping tonight will punch her title to the main event of Rise to Greatness for the first time in her illustrious career.”
Katie then starts to head down to the ring. Cannon hooks LeCavalier up and hits a vertical suplex for good measure. LeCavalier turns and starts to roll over as Katie slides into the ring. She gets up and runs over to Cannon and forearms him in the jaw. She nails him again and again, knocking him into the corner. She then starts to choke him with her boot. Cannon struggles as Katie keeps pressing her foot back for several moments. Ryan LeCavalier starts to get up and turns around and Katie turns and runs at her and kicks her in the ribs and hits a hair flip DDT. She turns and grabs LeCavalier, pulling her up and dragging her into the ropes. LeCavalier blocks it as Katie keeps trying to lift her up. After a few moments, she gives up, nailing her in the ribs with a forearm shot. LeCavalier drops down and backs up into the corner. Katie turns to Cannon who blocks a hard right and then pulls her in for a snap suplex.
Sharper: “Katie stopped by Cannon after threatening LeCavalier there.”
Knots: “She had her head on a swivel, but the potential eliminate allure too much and that’s going to be a problem as the ring fills up.”
Cannon drags Katie up and throws her into the corner. He then turns and runs across and nails Ryan LeCavalier with a running splash. The crowd ohs. He then turns and runs back at Katie and does the same to him. Katie staggers out. Chris then turns and goes to throw Katie up and over. Katie grabs the top rope and spins through, ending up on the apron. Cannon runs over to try to finish the job, but Katie pulls herself back into the ring through the ropes. She starts to get up and Cannon clubs her in the back once, knocking her down. He then grabs her and just scoop slams her. He then turns as Ryan LeCavalier walks out and rakes his eyes. Cannon turns away and Ryan grabs him and hits a Russian leg sweep.
Sharper: “Nice leg sweep. LeCavalier taking down her first dance partner in this thing.”
Knots: “Time to see who else could be joining them though!”

Do it
baby! Do what I should think!
Do it-do it baby, do what I could think!
The opening polyphonic strokes of Tommy Richman’s “Million Dollar Baby” hit the
PA, and the crowd immediately turns to boos. The stage lights intensify in
brightness. Through the light, we can see the outline of an emerging
competitor. The crowd boos as Billy Heaven Jr. walks out from the back and
points to himself. He then nods as he walks to the ring.
Sharper: “And Billy Heaven Jr…the man, I don’t even know what to say.”
Knots: “A dark horse! That’s what he is. He won Trios!”
Sharper: “With Amelia Nevado and Xander Valentine.”
Knots: “Carried them!”
Billy Heaven Jr. walks down the entrance way and takes a few moments to enjoy the ambience inside the Superdome. He then gets to ringside and looks in. He then stops and shakes his head.
Billy Jr.: “Nope…not right…not right…Not going to just throw it out for anyone! I came for the cake! The bakery gotta be open first, right?!”
One of the officials tells him to get into the ring and Billy shakes his head. He then looks under the ring and grabs a steel chair. He pulls it out, turning around and unfolding it. He then places it next to the ring and sits on it. Billy leans back.
Sharper: “The hell is he doing?”
Knots: “Guess he’s not happy with his prospects in there.”
Back in the ring, Ryan LeCavalier takes Katie over with a side belly to belly suplex. LeCavalier then turns as Cannon scoops her up and steps forward, hitting a fallaway slam. LeCavalier hits the ropes and grimaces in pain. Cannon then turns and goes over to Katie and drags her up. He moves her to the ropes and places her against them. He then gets up under her, lifting her up. Katie holds onto the top rope as Cannon keeps trying to push her up and over. Katie kicks her legs and Cannon continues to struggle before Katie punches Cannon in the face. He drops Katie and Katie moves to the corner. Cannon staggers back and Katie runs out and hits a dropkick. Billy continues to ignore the action in the ring.
Sharper: “A hard fought start here, for everyone, but that man at ringside.”
Knots: “He’s playing it safe. Come on. He could run in there and risk further injury!”
Sharper: “He doesn’t have the neck brace on for once.”
Katie gets up and then hits a breakdance leg drop on Cannon. Cannon rolls over, holding his jaw. He rolls over as Katie gets up and stomps him in the back a couple of times. She then turns around and goes for Ryan. Ryan starts to get up and Katie grabs her, but Ryan hits a jawjacker and Katie falls back, holding her jaw. Ryan winces as the countdown clock returns.

Knots: “But she has something else to deal with. That’s what Billy wanted. Billy’s shooting his shot!”
Billy then pulls out his cell phone and smiles as Syren looks at him and tries to pull away. Billy turns and wraps his arm around her and quickly takes a selfie before nodding. Syren starts to back to the ring.

The buzzer goes. A rush of paparazzi rush down either side of the ramp as a red carpet is rolled out. The sounds of Michael Jackson’s “Hollywood Tonight” begins to play as Chris and Ryan Hollywood come out from the back, prompting a shamelessly stolen trope of flashes from the cameras as they stand atop the ramp. They respond to pose instructions from the photographers as they move towards the ring. Once in the ring, they pose in the middle of the ring, back to back, as their music fades.
Sharper: “Hollywood is in the ring-“
Knots: “Who’s the entrant? Chris? Ryan? Both of them?”
Sharper: “It’s not both of them.”
Just then, we see Syren and Katie run up behind them, as they still are in their pose, and Katie grabs Ryan, Syren grabs Chris, and they run them forward and throw both up and over the top rope to the floor. The crowd roars.
Sharper: “And I guess it doesn’t matter!”
Knots: “Idiots!”
Sharper: “I don’t know if that was a record. But either way…and now Katie and Syren going at it!”
Katie turns and kicks Syren as she turns to her and Katie rakes her eyes. She then runs into the ropes, bouncing off and suddenly Syren kicks her in the ribs and then places her head between her legs, hoisting her up and hitting a powerbomb. The crowd ohs as Syren looks around. She then goes to grab Katie. Ryan sees an opportunity and goes for Syren, but Chris Cannon runs over and clotheslines Ryan down. Knots: “TJ Johnson is pleading with them. Katie has to fight!”
We cut to see Ryan Hollywood and Chris Hollywood arguing with the officials. Chris tries to get back in and they pull him back.
Chris Hollywood: “I wasn’t ready!”
They then are convinced to leave as Ryan then runs up behind Cannon and nails him with a forearm shot to the kidneys. He lets go and staggers over. Katie slides down and gets free. Ryan then chops Cannon. Syren kicks Katie and runs her into the corner. As she does, the countdown clock returns.

Sharper: “And Chris Cannon saving Syren. I guess seeing Stone and his size and agility as a bigger threat.”
Knots: “Also fresher. Maybe that’s the plan now. We’re getting a quarter through and now it’s a matter of also pacing yourself too.”
Sharper: “And someone like Stone is one of those talents, he can just by his presence change strategies. Undoubtedly what Josh Hudson also saw in him.”
Cannon backs up and whips him across the ring. Ryan moves out of the way as Cannon runs after and Stone gets an elbow up. Cannon staggers back and Stone runs out and clotheslines him down. “Mountain Banjo” by Rhiannon Giddens comes over the system. The crowd roars as we see Waylon Creek walk out from the back, a bandage on his head, and clearly annoyed.
Sharper: “And oh boy…the difference maker is here. Waylon Creek at number ten!”
Knots: “And he’s maybe angry. Only member of Fall of Man to not hold the World Title.”
Sharper: “Played a roll in that earlier. And he looked completely in disbelief when he realized what had happened.”
Knots: “Nothing happened. Just a lateral move! Unlike what awaits everyone in that ring!”
Sharper: “Xander Valentine had it so if he failed, the battle royal would finish the job. And there are a number of big names in there. Long path for Creek too!”
Creek
heads down to the ring. The tron flickers in and out before we see a spider web
that is almost completed. There is another flicker and when the web is next
seen, there is a letter A right dead center in the web, clear as day. A real
spider suddenly drops down right into the web. Another flicker in and flicker
out before a few droplets of water can be seen dripping down from the web. In
the background where the web is, we can hear the roll of thunder. As it
dissipates there is yet another flicker out. One last flicker occurs as we now
hear a voice that softly whispers “May the Thunder weaken you. May and the
Flames consume you.”
With those words, the web and the spider can no longer be viewed. The normal
SCW tron background returns. Creek briefly looks back, shaking his head, as in
the ring, Stone looks at him and pounds his chest. Creek just sees him as
suddenly, Ryan LeCavalier comes up behind Stone and takes him down with the
Body/Prison. The crowd erupts as LeCavalier pulls back. Stone yells out in pain
and quickly starts to tap out, realizing an injury would be a bad plan.
LeCavalier however keeps pulling back on the arm and then face. Stone yells
out, tapping more before Creek reaches the ring and grabs the top rope. He
pulls himself onto the apron. LeCavalier then lets go and rolls over. She looks
at Creek as Creek looks at her. The crowd erupts.
Sharper: “And look who made sure she’s waiting for him.”

Stone rolls over, holding his arm in pain as Creek tries to fight off Lawler and Cannon with body shots, while Katie clubs Ryan a few times in the back. Creek shoves Lawler off before Cannon kicks Creek in the ribs. Cannon hammers away on Creek with a couple of blows before Ryan grabs Katie and manages to hit a drop toe hold, sending her into the middle turnbuckle. Ryan gets up and grabs Katie and hits a snap back suplex. Katie winces in pain. LeCavalier then starts to get up and turns and sees Cannon working on Creek. She then starts to head for him, but just then, Lawler nails Ryan with a hard right. Ryan fires back. They trade blows before Lawler gets the advantage, knocking Ryan to the ropes. He then fires her off, but Ryan bounces off and slides under a clothesline attempt. Lawler turns around and Ryan hits a jawbreaker before Lawler falls back. Creek then hits a throat thrust on Cannon, but Cannon falls into Ryan, who jumps up and hits another jawbreaker. Creek then steps out, but as he does, Stone gets to his feet, hitting the ropes and hitting a diving shoulder tackle to both LeCavalier and Creek. This brings out more boos.
Sharper: “And again! Stopped from clashing. Isaac Stone taking out both Ryan LeCavalier and Waylon Creek.”
Knots: “After Creek fought off both Lawler and Cannon!”
The countdown clock returns as Creek, LeCavalier and Stone get up. Stone gets up first and stomps away on LeCavalier.

Grant: “Well how about this…a collection of people who are all hoping for the amazing opportunity to flaunt themselves on social media, taking the easy way forward, instead of trying to fight their way up the ranks.”
Grant takes a few more steps.
Grant: “SCW already will have its social media teams ready to hype up the winner as having done something historic. We already have their social media teams highlighting the surprise World Championship match from earlier tonight, and ironically, he may be the only one besides me who understands why it foolish.”
Grant continues to take a few more steps, getting closer to the ring. Sutter meanwhile throws Hayes into the corner.
Grant: “Even some in the ring now, like Syren, with Lexy Chapel trying to milk what’s left of her dwindling career, to Katie Steward who wants Hollywood to care, to Clyde Sutter who probably only popped the question to dear Melinda just to get some likes on social media. How pathetic amongst you all…”

Kim runs after, Diamond just getting out of the way, and nails Syren with a clothesline. She then grabs her and tries to lift her up and over. Diamond then runs over to help Kim with Syren, but just then, we see Cannon pulling Diamond back and into the Set Piece. The crowd ohs. Sharper: “And at number thirty seven, it’s the Monster-Machine, Enigma!”
Knots: “And he’s not going to rush. He sees a lot of victims there.”
Sharper: “We’ve seen how dominant he can be in one on one. But we’ve not seen what he’s truly capable yet here in SCW.”
Back in the ring, we see Cannon keeps fighting with Sutter as Polly then heads after Syren and Kim. Kim looks at Polly as Polly nails Kim in the ribs. Enigma fires back. Sutter staggers from the ring and Melinda joins him, only
for suddenly, Chance Owens to run down from the back and drill Sutter with a
huge tackle. The crowd erupts as Melinda falls back.
Sharper:
“And Owens! Chance Owens came in like a house on fire, but in the chaos, a much
shorter appearance than he may have wanted or deserved-“
Knots: “He’s
going after fate!”
Sharper: “And he’s not going to be okay with it!”

“Come in KABLAMia” by the KABLAMia Tabernacle Choir starts to play. The crowd cheers as we see Derek Adonis carried out on a cloud, alongside a number of the citizens of KABLAMia: Sweet Sangria, Mimi Mimosa, Het Meisje, and Anastasia Fantasia among them. The crowd rise to their feet in a raucous applause at the display of flesh in front of them...
Sharper: “Well, we have a battle royal going on but time for another pitch for KABLAMia!”
Knots: “Yeah! Xander! Enigma! Hold up!”
Sharper:
“They are not!”
Xander
and Enigma continue to trade blows as Adonis continues to be led to the ring. Owens
nails Sutter with a hard right and then another before running him over and
even running him into the cloud that Adonis is riding. Sutter staggers off. We
then see Kelsai Adamson looking at Owens, a bit surprised, before cheering him
on as Melinda Braddock gets up enraged. She starts to storm after as Owens grabs
Sutter and then pulls him over to an open area and then takes him down and looks
in the Dead End. The crowd roars as Sutter yells in pain. Officials run over as
does Melinda as Chance keeps the hold on for a few moments before letting go.
Kelsai joins him. Melinda then steps up and berates both as Owens looks around,
the crowd nearby cheering him.
Sharper:
“Owens wearing out Sutter! And pushing back against fate!”
Knots: “He
jumped him! He jumped him because he wasn’t happy Sutter caught him focused on
Kelsai!”
Sharper:
“And he responded. Isn’t it just fate?!”
Welcome to the land that loves below the belt
The sky’s are clear and pleasure is felt
Come in KABLAMia, come in KABLAMia
Xander and Enigma both run into the ropes and both drill each other with
clotheslines. Kim can be seen yelling out “Again!” as Polly and Syren fight in
the corner. Cid tries to eliminate Amy as Hayes grabs Cannon and tries to
eliminate him. Xander and Enigma run into each other again with another double
clothesline.
Where fun-loving people can give right in
To a Man Mountain utopia where everyone wins
Come in KABLAMia, come in KABLAMia
Sweet Sangria always dressed in smile
Many men and women will go the extra mile
Come in KABLAMia, come in KABLAMia
Cameras turn back to the entrance of Adonis. The women on the cloud toss out
small, travel-sized bottles of Derek Adonis Heavy KABLAM Lubricant and folded
up travel brochures to the crowd.
The lube flows freely, never enough
It’s a copyrighted formula, the right stuff
But even still they make you feel right at home
Whether you love cleaning the carpet or polishing chrome
We
don’t kink-shame here, it never allowed
It’s a comfortable place while you’re being plowed
Your greatest dreams are always on tap
Your can register now with our convenient app
That’s
right, KABLAM is expanding…
It’s the dream of Derek Adonis
Come in KABLAMia, summy KABLAMian
We mean YOU!
The cloud makes it to the end of the entrance and Adonis hops off first,
reaching up to help the four primary women off. They step down, each planting a
kiss on the cheek of Man-Mountain. They however stop before going up the
stairs. Adonis steps up, almost oblivious, before entering the ring. Enigma and
Valentine both start to pull each other up and Adonis steps forward, going to
go to the middle of the ring, but stopped by the two large men in the ring. He
finally realizes that the battle royal is going on. Adonis gulps and
reluctantly extends a brochure to Enigma and Xander.
Sharper: “Oh no…”
Knots: “Derek…Read the room!”
Adonis looks down at the pamphlet as the countdown clock returns. Enigma and Xander then both grab Adonis and just lift him up under the arms. Adonis looks around, as these two men just muscle him over the top rope and then let go, causing him to fall to the floor and fall back, eliminated.

"Thank You for Hating Me!" by Citizen Soldier plays throughout
the arena, the SCW Universe deafening the song with their boos. The lights
shift to dark purple and blue, filling the arena as snow is seen “falling”
along the electronic floor and screens as, out from the back, walks the Snow
Queen, Selena Frost, taking in the crowd of the SCW Universe with a smirk.
Selena Frost then heads down to the ring.
Sharper: “And number forty! Selena Frost! The Snow Queen! She is the odds on favourite and one of the individuals in that ring will be going to challenge Giovanni Aries for the SCW World Championship.”
Knots: “How the hell is that a real sentence?!”

He bends her over and sets up for the Killing Joke, but as he hoists her up, Syren flips through and lands behind him. He turns around and Syren hits a superkick. The crowd ohs. Ethan then staggers back, only for Kim to run at him and clothesline him over the top rope to the floor. The crowd roars.
Sharper: “And now, with the end in sight, you’re seeing people take their shot. Ethan Stryfe went big, but it didn’t pay off!”

We then see Creek running at Enigma and clotheslining him up and over the top rope. The crowd ohs.
Sharper: “Amy hit the Blackout, but Selena right there! No hometown stunner for Chastaine!”
Knots: “And Enigma! Creek getting him out! Big elimination! Huge elimination!”
Creek turns around and Kim hits the Morrigan’s Wrath on him. He falls to a knee. Kim then turns and we see Hayes running at her and Kim ducks, but Asher stops. They turn around and Asher kicks Kim in the ribs. He goes for the hammerlock, but Kim spins out of it and then jumps up and hits an enziguri kick. Cannon then turns as Selena tries to eliminate Cannon. The crowd erupts as Syren runs over and attacks Selena.
Sharper: “Hayes turned right into the C4, and Frost even in there too, but now Syren going after Frost.”
Knots: “Frost is going after all openings. Why make this harder? Go for who is in trouble!”
Sharper: “And quickly as everyone also knows this is their opportunity. You’re in the end of this. No one else running out!”

She then turns to Cid and looks at him incredulous. Cid then starts to get up and Kim grabs him and goes to eliminate him.
Sharper: “I don’t know what Cid was thinking! Kim countering that electric chair.”
Knots: “I don’t think that’s the type of risk Cid should go for!”
Sharper: “And Creek still in trouble.”

Creek then turns as Cannon nails him with a hard right and then another. Syren grabs at the ropes as Kim then sees her before continuing to try and eliminate Cid. Cid goes up and over, but ends up on the apron. Kim then kicks him in the knee. Cid falls to a knee, but remains on the apron. Syren grabs onto the top rope and we see Selena then lunge and goes for a Glass Shard on Cid. Cid spins out of the way. He then grabs her leg and pulls her over so she straddles the top rope. Cid then backs up and runs at her and clotheslines her back, but she falls back into the ring. Syren goes up and over. Cannon looks on stunned and Selena falls to a knee.
Shraper: “Syren’s gone! Selena eliminated Syren!”
Knots: “Superkick! Soiree!”
Sharper: “Oh stop it!”
Knots: “Down to five!”
Sharper: “And Cannon going for Selena!”
Cannon runs over to Selena and nails her with a hard forearm and then another and another. He then pulls her out and whips her across the ring. He runs after her, but Creek suddenly suddenly scoops Cannon up and hits a huge spinning sidewalk slam. He then gets up and Cannon rolls over, holding his back and Cannon turns to the ropes. Creek then steps forward to eliminate him, knocking him over the top rope, but Cannon holds on and remains on the apron. He turns and nails Creek with a hard right and then another and another before Creek grabs him, but Selena comes in and hits another Glass Shard. Cannon falls back and down to the floor. The crowd boos. Selena then backs up and goes for a third one on Creek, but Creek catches the leg.
Sharper: “Another damn Glass Shard! And Cannon…he nearly went cost to cost!”
Knots: “And Selena’s trying now on Creek!”
Sharper: “But Creek caught her foot!”
Creek then spins her foot out, but Cid Turner suddenly jumps off the top rope and hits him with the Denver Diving Kick. Creek staggers back and to the top rope. He bends over and reaches down, but the crowd erupts as we see Chris Dumont running around the ring, having run down from the back, joined by David Striker.
Knots: “The hell are they doing here?!”
Sharper: “The Dangerous Minds!”
Knots: “No! No!”
Dumont reaches up and grabs the arm of Creek as Creek looks around, trying to get free. Striker grabs the other arm. They hold onto him before Xander then runs over and lifts him up and dumps him over the top rope to the floor. The crowd erupts!
Sharper: “And Creek! Creek gone!”
Knots: “Not by Xander again! Not by him! Not by them! That should be a disqualification!”
Sharper: “We’re at the final three!”
Knots: “And look at this…the established. The greats….This was supposed to be Fall of Man’s coronation! Damn you Striker and Duimont!”:
Dumont and Striker then back up and walk around the ring. Dumont turns to the camera.
Dumont: “How’s that for waiting!”
Dumont and Striker walk around the ring as Creek rolls over at ringside. Selena backs up as Cid goes to a corner and Xander turns around. Selena looks around and then runs at Cid and nails him with a hard right and then another and another. Xander then heads over and grabs Selena and nails her with a hard right. Selena staggers back and Xander nails her again and again. The crowd cheers Xander as Xander then grabs Selena and whips her across the ring. Xander runs across and hits a running splash. He then steps back as Selena staggers out and hoists her up onto his shoulder.
Sharper: “Xander with another wind here. After everything he’s been through tonight…”
Knots: “He’s been out here for another twenty minutes. The blood dried on his face still!”
Xander hits the Snake eyes and backs up and runs into the ropes and bounces off and goes for a boot, but Selena drops down and Xander goes up and crotches himself on the top rope. He then turns as Selena nails him with a series of hard shots to the arm and then Xander shoves her back. Cid then runs over and nails Xander with a couple of hard shots before Xander swats him down. Selena then jumps to the ropes and dives back with an enziguri kick to the back of Xander’s head. He falls forward and to the apron. Creek starts to head over to him as officials stop him. Creek keeps trying to get to Xander as Xander slowly gets up and Cid and Selena run over to him. He grabs both by the throat. They both kick him and Xander quickly grabs to the top rope. Selena then kicks Xander once and then again before suddenly, Cid grabs Selena and spins her around and throws her over the top rope to the floor. The crowd erupts in cheers. Cid backs up and falls over as Xander pulls himself back into the ring.
Sharper: “Cid! Selena was either so focused on Xander or she didn’t take Cid as a threat, and Cid just tossed her over!”
Knots: “Cid…you bastard!”
Sharper: “And now…is it Cid? Is it Xander Valentine? Who will win the Taking Hold of the Flame for the first time in their illustrious careers?!”
Knots: “How the hell is Xander still in there?”
Sharper: “He refuses to die. And Cid Turner…stunning us with his return here.”
Xander starts to get up as Selena loos up from ringside and then looks down, catching her breath. She then looks up and shakes her head.
Sharper: “Selena…she looks disappointed but…”
Knots: “Almost like she’s admonishing Cid. She’s not too broken up. See! She cares about competition.”
Sharper: “Yeah, I’m sure.”
Selena walks along the ringside area before shaking her head. She can seen saying “fine” to herself a few times before we cut back to the ring. Xander gets up as Cid pulls himself up. He looks around as Xander then starts to advance on Cid. Cid backs up to the corner and Xander goes for a huge haymaker. Cid ducks down and spins around. He backs up as Xander continues to follow him and repeats the process at the opposite corner. Cid then turns and nails Xander with a hard right and then another and another. Xander shoves him back. Cid rolls through. Xander steps up and Cid gets up only for Xander to grab him by the throat. The crowd roars. Cid kicks him in the knee. He then nails him with a hard right and then another and another. Xander shoves him back again. Cid then gets up and runs at Xander, but Xander catches him, pulling him back and then booting him in the head. Cid rolls over.
Sharper: “Xander just using his strength. Whatever he has left.”
Knots: “Cid trying to be more agile. He’s probably right there. The Masta of Speed has lost a few clicks in recent years.”
Xander then grabs Cid and hoists him up in a military press. The crowd erupts as Xander steps towards the ropes and Cid slides down behind him. He then jumps up and dropkicks Xander in the jaw. Xander falls back. Cid gets up and hits another dropkick. Cid then rolls over and gets up as Xander staggers back and Cid pulls himself to the middle turnbuckle. He dives forward with the Denver Diving Kick, but Xander steps forward and catches him and spins him around with a huge spinning back suplex. Cid rolls over, holding his head and neck in pain. Xander rolls over, the cut over his eye opened up again from Cid’s strikes.
Sharper: “And Xander’s bleeding again. Cid Turner doing some damage.”
Knots: “Too bad Xander drove him to hell there.”
Cid rolls over and slowly starts to get up. The crowd looks on as Xander Valentine pulls himself up and then sees Cid getting up. Xander runs over and shoulders him. Cid falls forward to the corner and stumbles back. Xander hoists him up for the Valhalla Has Fallen. The crowd roars, but Cid manages to backflip through. He falls back into the corner. Xander then runs at him, but Cid moves out of the way again and Xander goes chest first. Cid then turns and runs into the ropes. He bounces off and jumps up, but Xander catches Cid on his shoulders for a powerbomb. Cid shakes his head and Xander falls back but they both go over the top rope and both then drop down, landing in a thud on the floor! The crowd erupts as the bell sounds.
Sharper: “They both went over! Xander caught Cid! Cid and Xander went over.”
Knots: “Who landed first?!”
Cid and Xander roll over as SCW officials, Aaron Demitra, Steve Hollinsworth, and Jennifer Cassidy huddle up. The camera comes into view.
Demitra: “Who saw what?’
Cassidy: “Xander hit first-“
Hollinsworth: “No…Cid did. Xander’s back hit, but Cid’s feet were next.”
Cassidy: “Xander fell flat.”
Demitra: “From the other side, I couldn’t see.”
Xander rolls over as Cid moves back, wincing in pain.
Sharper: “The officials don’t seem to know. Can we get a view here?”
Knots: “Yeah! Come on production. This is important. Rise to Greatness main event on the line!”
The THOTF logo comes up on the screen.
REPLAY:
We see Xander staggering out of the corner and Cid runs across and jumps up, seemingly going for a frankensteiner, but Xander goes low, catching him. Cid then grabs his head and nails him a couple of times before Xander falls back. The weight sends both over and we see both fall to the floor, the landing obscured by the ring.
Knots: “That’s not helpful!”
Sharper: “Both going over the same way. And they went horizontal. Maybe this view?”
The THOTF logo comes up again before we see it from a side angle. We see Cid jumping up and onto the shoulders of Xander. Xander falls back. Cid gets a couple of shots in before they fall back. They go over the top rope and the camera moves over to get a clear shot. They manage to land and it appears they land at the same time at normal speed.
Sharper: “It looks the same time!”
Knots: “No way!”
The THOTF logo comes up on the screen again. We then see Xander and Cid starting to go over the top rope. The scene continues in slow motion as they slowly start to fall down to the floor. The camera focuses on them as they drop, frame by frame.
Knots: “Cid’s first…no…Xander!”
Sharper: “I don’t know how you can make a determination…”
Knots: “So then restart? What’s the protocol…”
The THOTF logo comes up on the screen.
We return live as the crowd roars as we see CHBK walking down to the ring, a slight smirk on his face.
Sharper: “The COO on his way…and he looks almost happy.”
Knots: “He is a sick bastard. Probably loves it came down to these two.”
He motions to Demitra to head over to him. CHBK leans over and Demitra leans over to CHBK’s ear and whispers something to him. CHBK backs up.
CHBK: “No…we’re not going to do that.”
CHBK then turns and walks around the ring.
Knots: “Not going to do what?”
Xander starts to get up and looks around as Cid slowly gets up too. He winces as CHBK meets with Jason Phillips. He asks for a microphone and gets it. CHBK then turns to the ring as Xander Valentine pulls himself onto the apron and then steps into the ring. Cid Turner rolls in after. The officials enter the ring too.
CHBK: “Fans, you have seen history tonight!”
The crowd roars.
CHBK: “Allow me to congratulation, the winner of the 2025 Taking Hold of the Flame and going to Rise to Greatness XXII to challenge Giovanni Aries for the SCW World Championship…”
CHBK pauses a moment. Xander just glares at CHBK.
CHBK: “Xander Valentine!”
Cid looks down as Xander throws his arms up.
CHBK: “…And Cid Turner!”
The crowd roars as Cid looks up, stunned. Hollinsworth raises his arm as Xander turns to CHBK. CHBK then backs up and applauds both.
Sharper: “Xander and Cid! Dual winners…this has never happened before!”
Knots: “What…there should be one. Make them fight!”
Sharper: “Giovanni Aries as World Champion…and now two winners…and the road to Rise to Greatness XXII has just had two major twists!”
Pyro starts to shoot out from the stage as CHBK continues to applaud. Xander looks at Cid as Cid looks more stunned than anything. The crowd looks on as the scene fades to black…
