The whitewashed concrete and steel teepees rose from the dirt of the Painted Desert in Holbrook, Arizona. A few miles away, the iconic Route 66 waited. For now, this was the gathering point of the Shining Maidens as they took a detour on their way to Glendale for Breakdown. Yumi ran away from the car as soon as they arrived. She took Mani with her, who was more than eager to stretch his legs after the long car ride from San Diego. This was her idea after finding the tourist trap on the internet when searching for what to do in Arizona. Despite Meowkazawa protesting that they were going in the wrong direction from Phoenix, Yumi insisted they stay the night. That left Meowkazawa, Neko, and Sakura standing in the parking lot. They planned to go to the Desert Diamond Arena early the following day after staying the night at the location.
Despite being in the low fifties, Meowkazawa shifted uncomfortably under the desert sun in his signature suit. He tightened his necktie, having loosened it in the car ride. Both women donned denim jeans. The blue of Sakura's Grand Canyon National Park hoody matched the color of the sky, pairing nicely with the pink of her hair. They visited the park the prior day that morning, again at Yumi's insistence. That idea went over well with the group as no one had visited the natural spectacle of the Grand Canyon. Neko's black hoody featured BABYMETAL. The girls watched Meowkazawa as he took out the tripod from the trunk. He deployed his camera and hurried over to stand with them. He made sure his cat mask was in place.

"Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, I am Mister Meowkazawa. And I have the distinct honor of being the royal council for your Highness, the Magical Cosmic Princess, YUYO! And by extension, I provide my services to the entirety of the super popular clandestine organization known worldwide as the Shining Maidens. I speak on behalf of the dazzling duo of NEMO and SAWA. I am their representative in all affairs, especially those of high importance," Meowkazawa made his introduction. He offered the camera a smug smile through his cat mask. His hands remained stuffed in his blazer's pockets. "And before we dig into the meat of fine course presented before the tag team division's hungriest tag team, shout out to management for allowing SAWA and NEMO to redeem themselves this week on Breakdown. I personally appreciate the token of goodwill. It is refreshing to see such leadership in this industry."
"Dangerous Minds. As the Shining Maidens have come to find out, there is no indication of false advertisement regarding the team of Chris Dumont and David Striker. They indeed have dangerous minds. They aren't your usual prey, as they know how to strike back. We don't need to go too far in the past to see evidence of this. On September 7th, in OKC, Dangerous Minds served Shining Maidens their first loss in SCW, the very first loss of SAWA's career, in a spectacular fashion as the Dangerous Minds took advantage of the Shinigami Foundation's involvement. But here, with the Shining Maidens, we see things in black and white. There wasn't a constellation prize, knowing that NEMO and SAWA lost because a pair of unsavory men decided to get involved. We hold ourselves to a high standard. Because we are THAT good, we are capable of overcoming all odds. Bring one. Bring a dozen. The Shining Maidens will rise to the occasion and bring home the victory for love, peace, and justice!" Meowkazawa said. Sakura snapped forward into a pose, holding up the victory sign over her right eye. Neko rolled her eyes at Sakura's enthusiasm, tossing her neon red hair over her shoulder instead.
"Fast forward to Fatal Fortunes. Luck had it, or should we say misfortune reared its head, SAWA faced Chris Dumont in her first singles match ever. SAWA might have fought valiantly. SAWA might have come close to scoring her first singles victory. Ultimately, Chris Dumont closed out the match and walked away with the win. Unlike before, there were no excuses. And if you're keeping score at home, the score is 0-2 against the Dangerous Mind. But there's a blueprint out there. Let's move on this timeline to two weeks ago in Sacramento. The Shining Maidens' glorious leader, YUYO, and the equally daunting YUSA clashed against the Dangerous Minds. Their mission? To avenge NEMO and SAWA. But once again, forces of chaos snuck their way into the concluding moments of the match. This time, the dice favored the side of good; however, were we satisfied with finding victory under such circumstances? No. Of course not. Pride might be a sin. But it's our sin. Our pride refuses to accept that win as the final say in this matter."
"This week on Breakdown. NEMO and SAWA take matters into their own hands. They won't sit back and let their comrades fight for them. They're not built that way. Both of them are upset. Both of them dreamt of this opportunity for redemption. And this week is high time that they kick it into the next gear and go for broke because who knows if they ever get the chance to rectify the past. For those who might not be paying attention, this might be another match, jostling for position to make a claim at the Tag Team Championship. And sure, Dangerous Minds are contenders, but this division has been Shining Maidens' playground. They're the asterisk to that claim. And that all changed this week when the Shining Maidens, the coalition of NEMO and SAWA, beat Dangerous Mind and walked into the future as the top contenders for the SCW World Tag Team Championship," Meowkazawa said. Neko motioned towards her waist, signaling her desire to hold gold. Sakura nodded, liking the sound of being the challenger to Light in the Darkness's gold. Her bubblegum hair swayed over her shoulder as she moved her head.
Neko stepped forward, placing her hand on Meowkazwa's chest. She eyed the camera and started: "David Striker! Chris Dumont! Dangerous Minds! You've treated the Shining Maidens as a running joke for too long. You've ignored our success in the ring. You see the flash. You see the pageantry. You foolishly confuse all the glamor for lack of skill. We're not compensating, which I wish I could say about the two of you and your oversized egos. But keep making that mistake. Keep underestimating us. Keep writing us off as a comedy act, but we will put the slap in slapstick when we boot your head off your shoulders. Sakura and I are not like the one you know as YUYO. We're bound to this realm of reality, and let me tell you, it's within the realm of possibility that we're going to make amends for past mistakes and kick your ass. The desert is where your ignorance is going to cost you. You have hopes of being Tag Team Champions? That's unfortunate. I'm going to enjoy dashing those dreams and kicking some dirt in your face while I'm at it."
"Yay! EXPLOSION! Chris! You rained on my parade, and I can tell you didn't even hesitate to consider my feelings when you pinned my shoulders to the mat!" Sakura started as she stepped forward. She frowned for a moment before snapping back to her bubbly personality. Sakura placed her hands on her hips as she stood tall before the camera. "But that's okay! I may not be ready to go solo. That's okay! I have more grinding to do. And when I'm doing leveling up, I'll challenge you again to get that loss back. In the meantime, I settle for the second-best thing: to team up with my bestie, NEMO, and seal the deal with a heroic victory over Dangerous Minds. Yes, I'm aware of the dangers. But I can't let YUYO down. I can't let YUSA down. Both showed us the keys to victory in their match against you two weeks ago; they are counting on us to step up to the plate and hit a home run right out of the park! Well, that's what I do! I strive to reach high heights, including erasing the lone blemish on our tag team record. Next stop? Light in the Darkness for the SCW Tag Team Titles! YAY!"

"We got this," Neko said as she offered her fist.
"Do we!" Sakura fist-bumped her.
