The Fans Choice edition of SCW Breakdown is coming up and Glory Braddock, after a month of sitting on the sidelines and watching from afar, gets back into action. Coming off of her victory over Xander Valentine, one she has long wanted, now she might end up giving another former foe something he has wanted; namely, Kemal Yilmaz in an Ultimate Submissions Match. Then again, that entirely depends upon what the fans say. Despite what the CEO Frank might think, despite what Kemal might demand, and even despite what Glory Braddock herself may want, the decision will be up to the fans. Will they finally give Kemal of the European Fiery Nation what he wants, Glory Braddock in an ultimate submissions match? Or will it be a Flag Match? Or will it be an I Quit Match?
Either the Submissions Match or the I Quit Match would fall into Glory Braddock’s territory. Her submissions skillset could easily get her enough submissions to defeat Kemal within the thirty minute time period or even get him to utter those two words any wrestler would hate to have to say, namely I Quit. The Flag Match would be the wild card as The British Bombshell hasn’t been in a Flag Match. The match itself is brutally simple; just take your nation’s flag and place it atop the ring post. Glory’s father, the late Glenn Braddock, would have loved a good flag match, seeing as how super prideful he was at being English and a British citizen. That hyper nationalism passed over The British Bombshell. Her primary objective is defeating Kemal Yilmaz and putting him in the rearview mirror once and for all. If that means finally giving him the match he wants, that he has been whining about for over a year, then perhaps she should just hope and pray the fans actually give him that ultimate submissions match so that he will no longer have anything to cry about? Regardless, it is ultimately up to the fans and Braddock knows that she must be prepared for anything, whether she wants it or not.
It has also been over a month since a long time friend of the Braddock family had arrived in Miami, Florida to assist The British Bombshell with some of her schedules, her agendas, and her business situations. Catalina De Luca, truthfully, is more of an acquaintance now than a true friend, as the two haven’t had contact with one another in years until just recently. Years ago their friendship was innocent, not stained by the truth behind the secret alliance of their two families. Glenn Braddock, a famous wrestler beloved in Europe with a good reputation, and the De Luca family, working for organized crime who specifically tried to fix sports for gambling purposes. The Braddock family reputation earned Glenn good standing with the De Luca’s and Glenn used that reputation to specifically request that they do not get involved with his matches. He wanted to earn his way on his own merit. The mob surprisingly obliged. Catalina De Luca wants to get as far away from her family’s criminal life as possible. So to repay a family favor, and reconnect with an old friend, Glory flew Catalina to Miami and is going to hire her to work for The British Bombshell as her chief of staff, to arrange meetings, scheduling, and handle other issues regarding her company, so that Glory herself can focus on the one thing she is most passionate about; professional wrestling.
The café they sat in that afternoon rested along a quieter street a few blocks removed from the louder tourist sections of the city. Large front windows let sunlight spill across the interior, turning the wooden floors a warm amber beneath the late afternoon glow. The café was neither trendy nor overly polished. It had the comfortable atmosphere of a place that people returned to regularly rather than simply photographed and forgot. The scent of coffee lingered thickly in the air, mixed with baked bread and citrus from freshly cut fruit behind the counter. A low hum of conversation drifted throughout the room, blending with the occasional hiss of steaming milk and the soft clink of ceramic cups being set onto tables. Ceiling fans rotated lazily overhead, stirring the cool air just enough to keep the heat outside from creeping too far indoors.
Glory sat near the window in a booth upholstered in dark green leather that had softened slightly with age. One arm rested along the back of the seat while the other circled loosely around a coffee mug that had long since cooled enough to drink comfortably. She wore dark jeans and a fitted navy T shirt beneath a lightweight gray overshirt left unbuttoned. The sleeves had been rolled halfway up her forearms in a habit that seemed automatic. Her clothing carried the same grounded simplicity she always favored, practical without appearing careless. Her long blonde hair fell loose today rather than tied back, brushing against her shoulders and catching flashes of sunlight from the nearby window.
Across from her sat Catalina. She looked perfectly at ease within the soft warmth of the café, as though she belonged in spaces designed for lingering afternoons and slow conversation. Today she wore a flowing blouse in a pale cream color tucked neatly into a high waisted skirt the shade of deep olive green. The fabric moved softly whenever she shifted in her seat, elegant without appearing overly formal. A delicate gold necklace rested against her collarbone, subtle enough that it only caught attention when the sunlight struck it directly. Her dark Sicilian features seemed even more striking in the afternoon light. Her hair fell in glossy waves over one shoulder, carefully styled without looking rigid. Her makeup was understated but precise, emphasizing her eyes and the natural warmth in her complexion. A slim bracelet circled one wrist, glinting faintly whenever she lifted her cup.
“You have no idea how much you are helping me, Glory!”
“Me helping you?” Glory chuckles. “Mate, you are helping me.”
“Oh come on, really? You are a wealthy owner of a successful company. You have three children who love you. A husband who loves you. You have it all, babe.”
“It isn’t all it cracks up to be, seriously,” Glory sighs “and my family situation isn’t that great right now.”
“Oh I’m sorry to hear about that, Glory.” Catalina says. “Do you want to talk about it?”
“Not really, Cat.” She shakes her head. “There’s no need to bother you with my personal problems.”
“That’s fair.” Catalina, or Cat for short as she prefers, sips her coffee from the cup. “Still, you are a very lucky person, aren’t you? You are a famous professional wrestler, just like your father. He must be proud.”
The British Bombshell shifts uncomfortably in the booth after Catalina mentions Glenn Braddock, Glory’s late father. There is an awkward silence, which indicates to Cat that something must be wrong. Finally, after several awkward moments, Glory breaks the silence.
“Dad, well,” she sighs “his career ended long before he wanted it to…”
“Really?”
“Yes,” she nods her head “it was a severe back injury. Doctors were able to stitch him up enough so he could move around, have a decent quality of life, and even work with the next generation of wrestlers, but as far as actively competing himself?” Glory shakes her head. “That was out of the question. And then a decade later he died.”
“Oh no!” Catalina gasps, holding her hand over her mouth, clearly looking shocked. “I had no idea he was gone! I’m…I’m so sorry…”
“It’s ok.” Glory forces a smile onto her face. “I’m still here to carry on the Braddock legacy as best I can.” She motions to Catalina. “What about you? What have you been up to since we last saw one another, what, nearly two decades ago?”
“Yes, almost two decades.” Cat nods her head, smiling warmly. “And my path was kinda similar to yours.”
“Oh?”
“You followed your dad into the family business and, well, my father wanted me to get into the family business.”
“Really?” Glory arches her brow out of surprise. “I’m kind of surprised to hear that. I thought old time mafia types were sort of traditional, they wanted to keep the men in the family business, not the women.”
“People and organizations can change, even organized crime.” Catalina smirks.
“And I take it you wanted nothing to do with your ‘family business’, right?”
“No way.” Catalina shakes her head. “Growing up I saw firsthand how dangerous, how deadly that life can be. I want nothing to do with it. I did not want to risk my life and I did not want to be in a position where I might have to take a life. I needed to get away, Glory, so you bringing me here to Miami, far away from my family’s criminal organization, that more than makes up for any favor owed.”
“Well I am just happy to see you again, Cat.” Glory smiles warmly. “And I want you to know I am doing this as a friend, not just because of some bloody mafia debt or crap like that.”
“That’s great to hear,” she nods her head “but, uh, I heard you actually dipped your toes in organized crime once upon a time. Is that true?”
Braddock is stunned into silence. She isn’t sure how Cataline knew of this; then again, Catalina comes from a crime family, who knows how many possible connections she may have? Glory briefly is having second thoughts about involving Catalina in her affairs. Is she getting too close to the mob again? It’s too late to back out now, though. Besides, Glory believes that Catalina is sincere about wanting out of the criminal lifestyle.
“I hate to admit it but,” she nods her head “yeah, I was involved briefly.”
“Oh, do tell!”
“If you insist” Glory sighs. “The company I bought, its founder, Matthew Alan, had his own criminal ties and he was using them, as well as bribing the board of directors, all to undermine me and try to cause me to lose the company. I nearly did, in fact.”
“What happened?”
“I panicked.” Glory admits. “I panicked and reached out to a friend of my own who also had criminal ties. She kept Matthew Alan out of my business and she kept the board of directors in check. But there’s more…”
“Nice.” Catalina smirks. “This is getting juicy.”
“I got close to someone, someone who grew near and dear to my heart. She helped mentor me, taught me how to be ruthless and cutthroat in the corporate world. But in the process I became someone I hated. I wasn’t proud of the things I had done.” Glory points to Cat. “That’s why I want you here.”
“Oh?”
“I want you to insulate me from all of the outside noise, especially the garbage and the politics coming from within my company. You will speak for me, as my representative, as my chief of staff, because if I have to start dealing with that stuff again I fear who…or what…I might become. I want to just be Glory Braddock the wrestler, not the corporate cutthroat.”
“So you want me to…run the company?”
“Sort of but not quite.” Glory says. “Just keep things running the way I want them to, keep everyone in line, but do NOT use your criminal connections or influence. I want this to be on the up and up.”
“Oh absolutely.” Cat nods her head enthusiastically. “Like I said, I don’t want to be involved in crime anyway. So if I can help you out in an honest way, if I can do something to help you the right way, I’m more than happy to do it.”
“Excellent.” Glory remarks, with a smile on her face. “Then it’s settled. You will be my chief of staff and as a result yo u will be dealing with my company a great deal, making sure its run the way I want it to be run.”
“That sounds great, Glory,” Catalina sips coffee from her cup “but can I ask for one other favor?”
“What’s that, mate?”
“Following father around from country to country all over Europe watching the wrestling matches, especially your own father’s wrestling matches, it made me into a fan.”
“Seriously?” Glory snickers. “You, a wrestling fan?”
“Yep.” She nods her head. “And I would love it if you could help me get my foot in the door of professional wrestling.”
“Do you even know what you want to do, Cat?”
“That’s where you come in.” She says beaming. “You know everything there is to know about wrestling, seeing as you have DONE it all. You can show me how to be a manager, how to be a promoter, or maybe you could train me and I can be a wrestler. Just help me get my foot in the door, that’s all I ask.”
“Since you’re willing to help me, I will be more than happy to help you.” Glory grins from ear to ear.
“Here’s to the start of a beautiful working relationship!” Catalina holds up her cup for a toast.
“And to a renewed friendship.” Glory answers back.

The basement gym beneath Glory Braddock’s Miami home carried the familiar atmosphere of effort and isolation. The rest of the house above felt distant from this place, separated not only by floors and walls but by purpose. Upstairs held polished surfaces, quiet rooms, and the carefully maintained calm of everyday life. Down here everything was simpler, harsher, more honest. The overhead lights cast a bright white glow across the room, illuminating the wrestling ring that dominated the center of the space. The canvas bore the marks of constant use, faint scuffs and darker patches where boots had struck repeatedly over time. Heavy bags hung along one wall beside racks of weights and training equipment. A mirrored section reflected the room back at itself, doubling the sense of space while revealing every movement without mercy. The air smelled faintly of sweat, rubber mats, and metal. Glory stood near the corner of the ring, breathing steadily after finishing another sequence of drills. Her blonde hair had been tied back tightly, though several damp strands had escaped and clung lightly against her neck and temples. A thin sheen of sweat covered her skin, catching the overhead light across her shoulders and arms. She wore black compression shorts and a dark gray athletic tank fitted close enough to allow complete movement without distraction. The fabric had darkened with sweat along her back and collarbone. White athletic tape wrapped securely around her wrists and hands, slightly frayed now from repeated contact with the ropes and canvas. Her wrestling boots were laced tightly up her calves, the black leather creased from years of use. Every movement she made carried the controlled precision of routine. Even exhausted, she moved with balance and grounded strength, her body instinctively conserving motion rather than wasting it.
The room was otherwise silent except for the soft hum of the ventilation system and the occasional creak of the ring ropes settling after movement. Glory stepped through the ropes and onto the mat outside the ring, reaching for a towel draped over a nearby chair. She wiped the back of her neck slowly, exhaling through slightly parted lips as her breathing began to steady. Then she heard footsteps. Not the heavy deliberate sound she associated with her husband, retired wrestler himself Kurt Logan. Not the uncertain hesitation of someone unfamiliar with the basement. These were lighter. Controlled. Rhythmic. Glory lowered the towel slightly and turned toward the staircase. Julia Braddock descended into the basement with the effortless poise of someone entering a completely different world without allowing it to unsettle her.
The contrast between the sisters was immediate. Where Glory looked built from practicality and effort, Julia appeared composed with almost artistic precision. Her dark blonde hair fell in smooth styled waves around her shoulders, glossy beneath the basement lights. Not a strand seemed out of place despite the humidity outside. Her makeup was subtle but flawless, carefully applied in a way that enhanced every feature without appearing excessive. Even in the harsh lighting of the gym she looked polished. She wore a cream colored blouse tucked neatly into a fitted high waisted skirt in a soft beige tone. The fabric moved elegantly as she walked, expensive enough to drape perfectly without clinging. A thin gold belt accentuated her waist, delicate but unmistakably chosen with care. Her heels clicked softly against the basement floor as she crossed the room, the sound strangely out of place among the weights and wrestling equipment. They were not impractical shoes exactly, but they belonged far more naturally in an upscale restaurant or elegant office than a wrestling gym. Yet Julia wore them with complete confidence. A tailored light jacket rested over her shoulders, its clean lines sharp and refined. Jewelry caught the overhead light in small flashes at her ears and wrist, understated but undeniably expensive.
Glory remained standing beside the ring in her sweat darkened training clothes, towel resting against one shoulder, chest still rising and falling from exertion. Julia paused several feet away, her eyes moving slowly across the basement. The ring. The weights. The heavy bags. The scattered towels and water bottles. The environment seemed almost aggressively unrefined compared to the elegant world she usually surrounded herself with. Yet she did not appear uncomfortable there.
“Julia?” The British Bombshell seems genuinely surprised to see her younger sister here. As she should. Julia spends most of her time in their native home of London, England. What brings her here to Miami, Florida?
“Glory.” Julia says with a warm smile on her face. “I figured I might surprise you for a change.”
“There’s no joke, is there?” Glory asks. “Nothing is about to jump out at me?”
“No jokes.” Julia chuckles. “You are the practical joker of the family. Remember?”
“Of course.”
The basement lights reflected softly against her blouse while the cool air stirred the loose strands of Glory’s damp hair. For a moment neither woman moved closer. The contrast between them filled the room as strongly as the silence itself. One sister polished and graceful, wrapped in elegance and control. The other grounded in sweat, discipline, and physical strength. The basement gym seemed to sharpen those differences rather than soften them, turning the space between them into something almost symbolic. Yet beneath all of it remained the quiet familiarity only family could create, the sense that despite their opposite worlds, they still understood one another in ways few people ever could.
Instead of making her younger sister, clad in heels, ascend into the ring, Glory Braddock exits the ring and joins her sister outside on the floor. The two Braddock sisters briefly hug. Julia then looks around at the basement workout area again and smiles.
“So, what sort of war brings you down here?”
“Why do you assume it will be a war?”
“I know you and I know that look on your face.” Julia remarks. “You’re preparing to kill someone.”
“I wouldn’t call it a war nor would I call it murder.” Glory scoffs. “I call it pest control. I’m facing Kemal Yilmaz on SCW Breakdown Fans Choice.”
“Kemal? Again?” Julia asks. Glory nods her head.
“Yes and since this is Fans Choice the fans get to choose the stipulation. It will either be a Flag Match, an I Quit Match, or an Ultimate Submissions Match. Three guesses what Kemal wants and the first two don’t count.”
“Obviously.” Julia rolls her eyes. “How many times have you beaten him?”
“Too many to count.” Glory sighs. “Each time doesn’t matter to him because it wasn’t his special little ultimate submissions match. I kind of hope the fans give him what he wants so that maybe, just maybe, when I beat him in the match he specifically asked for he will leave me alone.”
“You and I both know how likely that is in this business.” Julia answers. Glory nods her head.
“Yeah, but I can hope, can’t I?” Glory sits down on the edge of the ring apron. “So, uh, Julia, did you really travel all the way here just to talk wrestling with me? I mean, we could have done that over the phone.”
“What? You don’t want to see your sister?” Julia asks playfully.
“It’s not that, I just suspect that you have an ulterior motive.”
“Well I honestly did want to visit.” Julia states. “You always fly in to England to see me, it’s only fair for me to stop in and see you once in awhile.” She sighs. “But you’re right, I do have a specific reason for wanting to drop by.”
“I knew it.” Glory smirks.
“I just want to ask about a new acquisition you made recently.”
“Acquistion?” Glory furrows her brow as she pauses to think about it for a moment. Just then it hits her. Glory’s face lights up in realization. “You mean Cat, don’t you?”
“Catalina De Luca, yes.” Julia nods her head. “Dad brought me to those same wrestling events in Italy. I got to know Cat just as well as you do, as well as her family. Is it true that you flew her in to Miami?”
“Yes and I cannot wait to get her started.” Glory starts gushing with praise. “Cat has a proven history with this kind of work.”
“What kind of work?”
“The corporate stuff.” Glory remarks. “The stuff I cannot stand. The corporate drama I hate. Cat is good at that and she will be dealing with it for me on my behalf. I won’t have to deal with that kind of corporate drama and stress.” Glory sighs and smiles. “It feels liberating, really.”
“Yes, well, I don’t like how you are involving yourself with a known crime family in the De Luca’s.”
“You don’t get it, Julia.” Glory insists. “Cat wants OUT of her family business. She wants to make an honest living, that’s why this works out perfectly for both us; I’m providing her with that opportunity to make an honest living, to go straight.”
“And you just simply believe her?”
“Why wouldn’t I?” Glory asks, stunned that Julia doubts Catalina’s honesty.
“All I know is that our father wanted absolutely nothing to do with the De Luca’s.” Julia points a finger at Glory. “Yet here you are deeply involved with one whether you want to admit it or not.”
“I may be involved with a De Luca but what we’re doing isn’t criminal.” Glory is beginning to grow annoyed and frustrated with her sister. “You should really give Cat a chance, love. People make mistakes and want to turn their lives around. We both should know that better than anyone else.”
“Fair enough.” Julia nods her head. “I will give her a chance.
“That’s all I ask.”
“But uh, Glory?”
“Yes?”
“Since I defacto run our father’s wrestling school, because you live in Miami now, should I direct any questions about the school to Cat from now on?” Julia smirks knowingly. Glory rolls her eyes.
“Shut up, Julia.” She points over to the far side of the room. “Go get that, please.”
“Get what?”
“The camera.” Glory says. “Simple handheld.”
“Why?”
“Since you’re here I’m going to put you to good use.” Glory smirks knowingly.
“Wonderful.” Julia rolls her eyes as she strolls over to where her older sister is pointing. “I am the daughter of a European wrestling legend, reduced to your camera crew?”
“When you come in unannounced?” Glory nods her head, snickering. “Yes!”
Julia Braddock finds the aforementioned handheld camera and picks it up. She walks it over to where Glory stands, near the ring. Julia points the camera at Glory and sighs.
“You’re lucky I don’t throw this at you, sis.”
“Just hit record, mate.”

“Albert Einstein once said that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again but expecting different results. Einstein was quite a brilliant bloke, if I do say so myself. Quite a scientist. He is credited with, for better or worse, helping to usher in the nuclear age. He had lots of genius level scientific theories, but do you know how something goes from being a scientific theory to being a scientific law? Do you know how we go from ‘well, we think this is true’ to ‘we know for a FACT that this is true’? Constant testing. You test your theory over and over again and, over time as you receive the same results, it eventually becomes fact. Many thought the earth was the center of the universe…until testing proved that it was not. Do you really want to test gravity? Go ahead, sit there and wait in the center of that ring while I jump off the top rope and gravity will send me plummeting back to earth, right onto your sorry ass. Death is another fact of life and ever since the dawn of humanity we have had the unfortunate task of witnessing the fact of death get proven over and over again. Earth is NOT the center of the universe, fact. Gravity is real, fact. Death is a fact of life. Testing is how you prove a theory to be factual.” Braddock points to a regulation size professional wrestling ring set up just behind her in the background.
“As professional wrestlers we put ourselves to the test inside that ring. It is admirable when a wrestler steps up to the plate to challenge themselves, to test themselves. I test myself each and every time I set foot inside of the ring. I tested myself by entering the Underground Title gauntlet CHBK put together and I proved that I could hang with the most violent of Underground competitors in the most chaotic of environments. Xander Valentine, the one dark cloud hanging over my head, the man who choked me out, I needed to test myself, I needed to prove that I could beat him. So I set foot in the ring and did just that; I defeated The Enforcer, I got my redemption. Last year I put myself to the ultimate test, bypassing Taking Hold of the Flame and opting to earn my way to a world title match the old fashioned way through hard work, grit, and determination, taking zero shortcuts, something Amelia Nevado would know nothing about.” She smirks knowingly at the camera.
“I’m not the only one with a strong desire to test myself though, am I Kemal Yilmaz? You have been hounding me over and over again that you want to fight me. You have been telling anyone and everyone who will listen that you want to test yourself against The British Bombshell, one of the best submission wrestlers in the game. I’ll give you credit, mate, wanting to put yourself to the test is admirable. Still, there’s one little problem here and it goes back to what I said about theories and facts. Facts are just theories that have been proven to be absolutely true through rigorous testing over and over again. So tell me, Kemal, have you tested yourself against Glory Braddock?” The British Bombshell holds up two fingers.
“May of 2025 you gave me your best shot and I put you to sleep with Shekhinah Glory. February of this year, just last month, I pinned your shoulders to the mat for the three count. That’s twice you threw your best shot at me and twice you failed. It looks to me like your tests have failed. It appears to me that your tests have only proven one thing to be absolute truth…The British Bombshell is simply better than you…or we can refer back to Albert Einstein and just assume you are insane, because you keep trying me, you keep coming after me again and again expecting a different result but the result is still the same. I win. You lose.” Braddock just shrugs her shoulders, her face a look of half-amusement half-annoyance.
“Oh but this is supposed to be different somehow, am I right? I guess it could be different, because those two matches were standard wrestling matches. You want an ultimate submission match. That’s what you’ve been crying about, right? You’ve been demanding that for as long as I’ve known you. And who knows, maybe this time you will finally get your wish? Maybe the fans will listen to your cries and take pity on you and vote for the Ultimate Submissions Match? Then again, they may want to see us in one of the more barbaric matches in all of professional wrestling, the match where you have to beat your opponent until they are forced to be humbled and say I Quit?” She shrugs her shoulders. “Maybe we’ll just get a simple Flag Match out of it? The truth is, Kemal, despite all of your ranting and whining, this is still out of your control. It’s out of my control. It’s also out of old Franky’s control, which I know eats at him. The fans are in control and they decide if you get what you want.”
“Though I tell you what, mate, I actually hope you get it. I hope that finally your wish of all wishes is granted and that the great fans of SCW give you the ultimate submissions match you so desire. I want that for you because I am sick of having to kick your ass again and again only for you to keep crawling back to me wanting more. I’m sick of it because I don’t know what to think of you. Are you just that damn gutsy or, like Einstein suggests, are you insane? Do you just want to test yourself…again…is this your insanity of thinking that you can face me for a third time and expect different results…or maybe you just really do want to test your own submission skill against one of the very best submission wrestlers to walk God’s green earth?” Glory pauses for just a moment, allowing her powerful words to settle in. Then The British Bombshell simply shakes her head.
“It really doesn’t matter what logic is going on within that head of yours, Kemal, because the fact is that you really have backed yourself into a corner. You are in a very difficult situation. Previously we did battle in standard regulation matches, but this time the odds are in my favor. If the fans choose the I Quit Match, I know so many damn holds that can torture you to the point where you will beg me to stop, where you will not just utter those humiliating words, you will CRY those words I Quit…hell, even if its a bloody flag match I am certain I can put you to sleep again, I’ve done it before, and give myself plenty of time to plant the flag and win the match.” Braddock smirks.
“Then again, what if we get the one match you really want? What if we get that ultimate submissions match? What if the fans actually grant your wish? Well if that’s the case we are fighting in a match that heavily favors me. Submission Match? Seriously, Kemal? That was made for The British Bombshell. Previously we did battle on neutral ground but in a submissions match we will be fighting in a match that was made for me.” Glory smiles knowingly. “Are you ready for that kind of test, Kemal, because that is the ULTIMATE test, one in which the odds are stacked against you. You want to be tested, well congratulations because you will be tested by fire, the fire that is yours truly, The British Bombshell, and I guarantee you one thing, Kemal. Just the one. You will not pass out. I will not give you that option. This time you will tap out. You will tap out again and again and again until the time limit expires. I will leave zero doubt in anyone’s mind, but especially yours, as to who the better wrestler is…” she winks at the camera.
“...spoiler, its me.” She shuts her eyes. “Sic Semper Tyrannis.”

Cologne, Germany. Wednesday 3rd April. (Off-Camera)
It was the final day where Kemal was packing everything up in his temporary home in the wrestling school where he had been living as he didn't have the money to have a home anywhere. He had to earn his way to get some money which he did successfully by working in a Turkish restaurant and one he really wants to get a business going in America as well, giving that he had written down every single recipe down that the restaurant had done so he could take notes and even written down basic instructions on how to do this.
It had been a very long process for Kemal to get a proper passport as the one he originally had was lost in the earthquake, especially that he and Konrad had to go all the way to Berlin just to get the documents sorted out, even if the language was lost on Kemal, considering he could only talk Turkish and English. But the passport had finally arrived on Monday, but he needed to pack his things, on top of allowing the process of getting flights to living there permanently and the visa that also needed to be sorted out.
Especially he knows that a lot of people, even the Koln FC reserves team are waiting outside for him as well as the restaurant boss who all wanted to see Kemal off on his adventures in Atlanta, Georgia. Although Konrad had to take him to the biggest international airport in Germany, Frankfurt International airport. Of course everyone in the gym rallied around him and even Konrad invited the Turkish restaurant boss and some of Kemal's football friends in the wrestling school to wave Kemal goodbye.
As the chances of him coming back to Germany unless it was to train wrestlers himself on occasions were low at this point because he was going to live in America permanently and that path was going to be much harder for Kemal than any wrestler Konrad and Lord Raab ever hired because unlike all the other wrestlers who had families and friends to talk to, Kemal had none of that. Even that made him feel frightened if he couldn't start a new family of his own, especially Americans he knew might not be very welcoming with Kemal because of his religion.
Dakon and Ludvig's path to travelling to America was a lot easier on them because they had family and other people to talk to, but Kemal didn't. He was an outsider, but they were also willing to have him in their home because Kemal didn't have anywhere else he could go. It was going to be hard and Konrad and even Lord Raab saw the shakes Kemal had on leaving where his wrestling career and his entire life restarted.
Kemal Yilmaz: “What if I can't start a new family over there? Because I want to have a wife and kids of my own.”
Konrad Raab: “I'm sure that you will find someone in the meantime. The important thing for you is to go over there and get some wrestling lessons and even start a business there.”
Lord Raab: “He's right, well apart from me who doesn't have another job as wrestling is all I do, having a secondary job is not a bad thing and if you can't find anywhere, start a business of your own.”
There was a chief in the wrestling school who of course who had been working with Kemal to learn about cooking Turkish dishes because he needed a job with money known as Ahmet came to clap Kemal and addresses him.
Ahmet: “Honestly, this kid has done some great work with us at a Turkish restaurant that's only five minutes down the road. I even knew Kemal had been writing recipes because I know that's somewhat his secondary job future because yes, I fully support Kemal's wrestling dreams, but also dreams of bringing that Turkish food cuisines to America as well. Also how much he has stated he wants to start a new family. I admire that because not a lot of people have that dream, but he does and he never moaned or complained about anything we provided him. We will all miss Kemal because I don't think I'll get another guy like him working in our restaurant and know what they were cooking and doing, even gave a few ideas of his own that we now use in our restaurant too.”
Then there was Kemal's closest friend in the FC Koln two team he ever had and went everywhere with him while he did two travels to two different parts of Germany, Henri who was Kemal's closest friend who accompanied him to travels and even Konrad knew his father recognised him when he played in FC Koln reserves team for a bit.
Henri: “Kemal reminds me a lot like another player we got that had the same issues as Kemal, but for a complete opposite reason. You see, Kemal lacked a lot of stamina when he started, but I saw the shocked look on his face when he discovered he was playing against Oberhausen on the reserves board and had to talk to the coach if he was serious. I was over the moon for him when that happened.”
Of course, there was more to the story than it already tells as the chef told enough of a story as there wasn't much to discuss there because he only was there working as an employee and he was mainly a chef there that was temporary because of his interest in Turkish food. Henri on the other hand has a lot more story to tell.
Henri: “I saw the kid crying in tears when he found out because it showed the hard work he has gotten to get where he is in football today. I will miss Kemal who I was told by the coach to stick with him. Sure, he has moments of anger and disgust, but you can't blame him after what's happened in his life. But he was happy to be shown around Paderborn and Gelsenkirchen where FC Schalke come from and had a blast.”
Konrad Raab: “See Kemal, these guys have nothing, but positive for you. I know granted, this won't be the same as when you get to Atlanta, but we will figure something out for you when we're over there. These guys came to say goodbye. But this kid, I never seen anyone who's so well in advance with submissions that it's unbelievable.”
Lord Raab: “He's one of the best technical wrestlers I've trained that's for sure as me and Konrad train him together like all the other students before and after him. It's becoming a rare breed to have technical wrestlers these days and mostly filled with high flyers these days, a style I cannot ever wrestle.”
Konrad laughs at that portion of what Lord Raab said and addresses it.
Konrad Raab: “It's true the amount of times I've tried Lord Raab to do even a moonsault, but he fails every time and it was like, yeah Lord Raab is never going to be a high flyer. It just doesn't work with him.”
Lord Raab: “Getting back to Kemal. While Kemal processes a lot of talent in the ring. A great wrestler with great submissions and a technical move set, but the problem is an issue very well known with technical wrestlers, lack of character and that's something Kemal needs to work on the most.”
Kemal Yilmaz: “That's what I've been struggling a lot now is my lack of feeling of being able to talk because I completely suck at that. Most of the time, I'm trying to find a wrestling identity about myself that these two successfully could. It's a major struggle right now, knowing how boring I am, but I will find this wrestling character side of me to succeed in my goals because I want to be a champion in SCW someday, regardless of whatever belt it is.”
Everyone was shocked when SCW was mentioned as nobody thought there was a company that was already decided for him and of course because Henri remembered that Kemal brought it up during a training session, he goes into detail about it.
Henri: “I thought it was Atlanta Wrestling Alliance you were going to?”
Kemal Yilmaz: “That's the indie promotion I'm going to yes, but it's for after I've wrestled a few matches there that I will be in Supreme Championship Wrestling and that's another reason why I'm living in America because the company is based in America, well technically in Canada, but most of their shows are in America.”
Konrad Raab: “Thank you all for showing up to see Kemal off to be in America permanently, but he has to go to Frankfurt to catch a flight to Atlanta which he only got a passport on Monday actually because we were waiting on that to get Kemal to fly after going back and forth with Turkish embassy in Berlin to get all the paperwork and documents sorted.”
Kemal hugged Lord Raab as it will be a while since he will see him again and then hugged Ahmet and then Henri before then he grabs his bags and bits of his belongings or what little he did have because he didn't have very much stuff due to being brought to Germany as somewhere to live and explore and only brought clothes either when he could afford them or when businesses gave him clothes to wear and he leaves the wrestling school with Konrad who got him in his car and drove straight to Frankfurt airport.
Konrad got out of the car and took him straight on the plane as he was going to America himself to go to a NASCAR race, but in an different location as they shook hands and hugged each other goodbye before Konrad says this.
Konrad Raab: “Dakon and Ludvig will pick you up at the airport with a sign for your name. Look out for it.”
Kemal nodded, seeing that Konrad was on his way to some other location in America for his NASCAR race, while Kemal was going straight to Atlanta which was a long flight and then he as Konrad said, got picked up by the lads at the airport and went straight to their apartment downtown in the city they were living in for Kemal to relax and headed straight to sleep.

Hilarious you think I'm whining and complaining Glory twitch.com shoot. (On-Camera)
“I mean seriously, are you this native that I've been whining and complaining about wanting this ultimate submissions match? Of course everyone wants to see it, even you know deep down inside you want that match with me too and why? Because I want to test myself against the so called best technical and submission artist in wrestling. Why would I want to face a powerhouse or a high flyer? What will benefit me from facing any of these wrestlers?
Zero because they aren't going to make me better, they aren't going to make me a better submissions and technical wrestler when you eventually retire from the wrestling business. I'm the next submission and technical wrestler that I love more than hardcore matches. Of course, I'm not stupid that there's flag and I Quit match, but lets face it, none of those matches are going to be any fun for two technical and submission artists compared to an ultimate submissions match and why not have it? Because I've not even seen it in wrestling. If we can have ironman matches, then ultimate submission match can be done as well, but only pussies are afraid to do something like that and you're not that Glory as much as you want to trash me for whining and crying because of this level bullshit.
There is no wrestler above or lower than anyone in the business Glory. Jesus Christ, what's this weak mentality you wrestlers have these days on only wanting to fight the strongest? Fighting the strongest isn't going to get you that far either, lets be real and I'm not fighting the strongest, but the top technical and submissions wrestler in the company is more my boat side of things. I can see you're point about the Taking Hold Of The Flame rumble, nope, that isn't really suited for wrestlers like us and not even for Oskar either. Only Federico suits for that style.
But I don't even think he wants to take part in it because he knows it's all luck based and there's always an established SCW star winning anyway. It's never anybody young or new and I can't remember the last time a young talent won the match. That's besides the point that rumble matches are nothing more but a complete scam, like lottery gambling based hobby wrestling thought it was a good idea.
But my idea is a hell a lot better because I don't even think SCW has had many Ultimate Submission matches. I know that I Quit and Flag matches could happen, but these matches have happened all the freaking time and won't be near as entertaining as making you tap out multiple times like a bitch because that's what my heart desires. I mean the ironic thing is you Glory are completely hypocritical.
You go out and tell me how I should go and focus on being a champion in SCW, yet you go around and tell me and my other team mates that they should earn title matches. Like what the hell should they do if they want to focus on going for titles and then they have to earn them. None of this makes any sense in what you're saying at all. You can go around, bragging you beat me so many times, but none of them were submission matches, were they? Sure you tapped me out, but again, that was a traditional wrestling match.
Be thankful someone wants to face you than the champion quest nonsense that is interested in wrestling you for your wrestling style, not because you hold a title, but because of your style and you were the first wrestler I wanted to face when I stepped in the door actually because of that and name me anyone else who has the same style of wrestling as you? There isn't anyone really because they are all mostly high flyers.
This match means the entire world to me Glory and I want to make you submit as many times as I can to deliver something new to the fans and this isn't about European Fiery Nation, this isn't about Gavin, this is about me proving to you Glory that you take me damn seriously as a technical and submissions wrestler. That's what I aim to do as I want to forget that I Quit and Flag matches are an option and if you fans vote for those matches over Ultimate Submission match, you all are beyond stupid as hell that you want repetitive matches instead of something fresh for the company.
That's where I come in and where even Dakon and Ludvig have come in too when they want to change the tag division more than just a traditional tag matches. I come in with a fresh idea that SCW needed and that's where I will deliver the goods and beat you once and for all and if the Ultimate Submissions win on votes, we will tear the house down, no matter how much hatred we have for each other, we will put on a show.
Tomorrow night, that's what will happen that two submission artists for half an hour will make the most submissions and being the winner. Imagine the next invention I make is to have a submission rumble match? That would be another option right that instead of throwing opponents over the top rope, you're eliminated when you tap out to a submission move. That's creative as hell and that's the next goal I will propose. But I got to beat you first before I make that quest to be the top technical and submission wrestler in this company. I will prove that to you no matter what match it is. End of story.”
I love AJ Allmendinger and Louis Deletraz.
