Important Note: This tag team, in any form of booking, is meant to be jobbers/enhancement talent. You only lose to these guys if you no-show. Post literally anything, and you win.
Tag Team Name: 6-7
Members: Dylan "Six" Sexton and Tyler "Seven" Severin
Alignment: Tweener (In terms of how they operate in the ring, 6-7 will wrestle like faces. No cheating, keeping things as legal as possible, playing to the crowd, etc. Their antics and obsession with the “6-7” meme makes them extremely popular with kids and teens, most of whom will absolutely cheer their hearts out for them and happily join in anytime they do the meme. Everyone else, however, will be the opposite. Older fans in the crowd will boo the hell out of them and even audibly groan every time they do the “6-7” meme to combat the kids yelling along with it. Other wrestlers, regardless of whether they're faces or heels, will also be extremely annoyed with them and their antics, especially whenever they can't resist interrupting an interview or backstage conversation trying to get somebody else to join them in doing the meme. It never seems to register to them exactly why most older people hate them, but it never bothers them because they just keep positive vibes and believe in the power of 6-7.)
Gimmick: They're basically two 18-year-old guys who are finally old enough to compete, fresh out of training, and obsessed with the “6-7” meme that's pretty much taken over the younger generation. The fact that they seem extremely annoying to most older people around them doesn't seem to register to them, they're just here to wrestle and have fun and show the world the power of positive vibes and 6-7... whatever that means.
Entrance Music: “Doot Doot (6 7)” by Skrilla
Entrance Description:
“6-7!”
The numbers are both called out over the speakers in the exaggerated tone that most people, for better or worse, associate with the meme by this point, and the younger fans in the crowd immediately respond by yelling it back and doing the exaggerated hand motion. On the Tron, a giant white 6 and 7 are both bobbing up and down as if linked to a hand motion we don't see over a shifting cinematic green and blue gradient. “Doot Doot (6 7)” by Skrilla, the song that somehow started this whole trend, begins playing as Dylan "Six" Sexton and Tyler "Seven" Severin leap out onto the stage with an enthusiasm that definitely doesn't match the slower grind of the song. Still, their excitement is infectious to the younger fans, especially as they can't resist doing the “6-7” meme and hearing them respond to it while older fans boo them, already annoyed with their antics. The two young men head down to the ring, Dylan throwing up six fingers while Tyler throws up seven fingers which somehow still draws a response of the “6-7” meme from the younger fans. As they reach ringside, the two will patrol around the ring for a moment, looking for any younger fans to engage in an exaggerated “6-7” meme-off with before they roll into the ring, throwing up six and seven fingers respectively again as the younger fans do the meme and the older fans keep booing them. Dylan and Tyler seem unfazed, though, as they remove their respective entrance gear.
Finisher: The 6-7
Finisher Description: Dylan connects with a Codebreaker to the opponent, the kids shouting “SIX!” as it connects, the impact causing the opponent to fly back and right into a high-angle snap german suplex from Tyler that drops them right on their head and gets the kids to yell “SEVEN!” in response upon landing.
Signature Moves:
6-7 Shooter
- With the opponent in the corner, whoever's legal will tag out before booting the opponent in the gut and chest six times, the kids counting along with each boot. The opponent will drop to a seated position in the corner and the man who just got tagged in will complete the “6-7” call for this move by slingshotting himself over the top rope and into a corner dropkick to the seated opponent, the kids yelling “SEVEN!” for the extra attack.
6-7 Special
- Stereo standing moonsaults to either one or both opponents, always followed by them popping back to their feet and doing the “6-7” meme.
6-Foot-7
- One of them will lift the other onto his shoulders in an electric chair position before climbing to the second turnbuckle. The partner sitting on his shoulders will yell out to the crowd, asking how tall they are together, prompting the expected “6-7” meme response from kids. Once they hear this response, the man on the second turnbuckle will leap off to deliver an electric chair facebuster to his own partner, the intent being to splash him across an opponent's chest with a little extra force, but because of the time they waste indulging in their favorite meme, this move will more than likely backfire on them and see only the partner take a second rope electric chair facebuster unnecessarily while the opponent gets out of harm's way.
Biography:
Dylan Sexton and Tyler Severin almost felt destined to become best friends. Born on the exact same day in the exact same city and living in the same neighborhood, they were magnetically drawn to each other almost immediately, growing up on almost every online trend that consumed kids their age and was deemed “the definition of brain rot” by adults and the older generation. Perhaps the only interest they shared that fell outside of this bubble was wrestling, as the two were lifelong fans and even did their fair share of wrestling each other on trampolines in their backyards, as kids who ignored those old videos warning against trying what they saw in the ring at home often did. Perhaps the one internet brain rot phenomenon that had the biggest impact on Dylan and Tyler was the “6-7” meme that practically took over younger generations out of nowhere, and they had their fair share of moments where they irritated older people around them to no end with their endless repetition of the meme anytime they heard the numbers six and seven in sequence. Why they decided to make that their whole wrestling gimmick once they were finally old enough to compete themselves and graduated from their wrestling school is as much a mystery as the meme itself, as well as how they even got signed to a company as prestigious as SCW, but one thing we know for sure: the tag team calling themselves 6-7 are very popular with the younger generation and plan on bringing their youthful energy to the biggest wrestling company in the world, no matter who else gets fed up with them and would give anything to get them out of the business.
