The Trios Tournament has returned to Supreme Championship Wrestling and that brings a great deal of excitement to the roster. The Trios Contract brings with it the power to book any match you want and, potentially, put yourself into position to get anything and everything you have ever wanted. Glory Braddock knows all too well about the Trios Tournament. She has won it twice before and now looks to become the first ever three time winner of this event alongside her partners YUYO and Gavin Taylor. Winning Trios is anything but easy. You have to pull together three very different personalities and styles and somehow create a cohesive unit, somehow create a well oiled machine that fight through the rounds and outlast and survive the others. Glory has had her fair share of unique partnerships during her Trios experience; the names Ace Marshall, Holly Adams, and other unique personalities have proven to be challenging in the past but The British Bombshell always did her job and, on at least two occasions, made it work out in her favor. This year she has the challenge of trying to pull together a working relationship with the unpredictable inspirational leader of the Shining Maidens and the arrogant All Star. Despite their differences, Glory Braddock recognizes that this trio of herself, YUYO, and Gavin is a formidable force in the tournament. She and Gavin have both won Trios in the past and YUYO, herself is a formidable competitor as evidenced by her current reign as SCW Adrenaline Champion. If anyone can pull together a winning formula for this tournament, it would be these three. Glory is cautiously optimistic about her team’s chances this year and her chances of making history with a third Trios victory. But she isn’t going to get ahead of herself. She plans to take this one match at a time, one step at a time.
While Glory Braddock may view the Trios Tournament as an opportunity, a chance to kick start her singles run in a big way, her sister has a starkly contrasting view of this event. Julia Braddock believes it to be a distraction, she believes that as a singles competitor Glory Braddock should be taking control of her fate but in this Trios Tournament she very much has to trust YUYO and Gavin to hold up their end of the deal and perform to the best of their abilities. Glory hates to admit it, but Julia does have a point. Trios is about the luck of the draw;you might get lucky and get a real good partner, or a partner with whom you have great chemistry. Or you might get unlucky and get someone you just cannot get along with or someone who simply cannot perform. Still, Glory believes Julia is wrong in this case. She and the Shining Maidens may have a history, she and Gavin may have history, but she is certain that the three can pull it together and win the tournament.
Julia Braddock’s return to Glory’s life hasn’t been as smooth as she had hoped it would be. It was upon the advice of Aphrodite Noel, a mentor and mother figure to both Braddock sisters, that they start spending more time together. Glory was excited at first but that excitement has dissipated ever since she saw the changes that have taken place in her younger sister. Julia is stuck up, snobbish, and generally a cold individual now. She isn’t the happy, vibrant girl she remembers. Julia has changed quite a bit and she isn’t certain it was for the better. But she has to push the concerns she may have for her sister out of her mind for this evening. She even has to temporarily ignore the upcoming Trios Tournament. All of this creates an atmosphere of frustration for The British Bombshell. She would much rather be dealing with a stuck up sister or trying to form a unit with a YUYO and Gavin than what she is being forced to do tonight. Tonight she has to play dress up and appease some of her corporate board members at a fancy dinner.
Glory Braddock stands in front of a full-length mirror in her spacious, luxury bedroom. Her blonde hair, naturally flowing in loose waves, cascades past her shoulders. She frowns slightly, her pale blue eyes staring critically at her own image. Tonight, she’s wearing a sequined lace dress, a shimmering masterpiece of deep navy blue, with intricate lacework that traces patterns along her arms and neckline. The gown hugs her form, elegant and sophisticated, but it feels restrictive, much like the events she’s preparing for. She runs her hands down the bodice, smoothing the fabric, though her displeasure remains evident in the tightness of her lips. The sequins catch the light, casting tiny reflections across the room, a stark contrast to her mood. Despite the beauty of the dress, it’s clear that Glory is not comfortable in it. Her posture is stiff, and the sparkle of the dress clashes with the quiet resistance she feels inside. Glory never liked these parties. Even after being mentored, after being taken under the wing of Aphrodite Noel, Glory still never grew to appreciate these or even tolerate them. Her younger sister, Julia, she is the one who seems to love the opportunity to dress to impress the masses. The forced smiles, the shallow conversations, the need to dress up like a doll—none of it appealed to her. This is Julia’s forte, not Glory’s. The opulence of the gown feels like a costume, a mask she’s forced to wear, concealing her true, simpler self. She shifts slightly, adjusting the hem of the dress as if trying to find some comfort in its constricting elegance. She stares back at her reflection, her frown deepening. This wasn’t her, not really. But for tonight, it would have to be. With a sigh, Glory straightens her shoulders, preparing herself for the evening ahead, even if her heart isn't in it.
“Glory?”
“Huh?” Braddock is startled ever so slightly. She turns around to find her husband, Kurt Logan, standing just inside the doorway. A warm smile is on his face. Glory can tell that he pities her. He knows just how much she detests this.
“Are you ok?”
“I will be.” She sighs and shrugs her shoulders. “I just hate these damn parties.”
“Well you are the majority shareholder of Glorious Golden Enterprise.” Kurt says as he walks further into the room. He gently takes his wife by her waist and gazes lovingly into her eyes. “And it was your idea for these board members to come see you here in Miami as opposed to you going to Charlotte to see them.”
“Yes, because it’s practical.” Glory insists. “I just got back from Oklahoma City, I am about to turn right around and travel to Boise, Idaho for the Trios Tournament. I don’t need to be trotting all over the damn nation.”
“Is it because of practicality or just because you do not particularly like Charlotte?” Kurt asks with a knowing smirk. Glory rolls eyes.
“Shut up, love.”
“Fair enough. I’m just trying to remind you that they were made the trek down here in order to make things easier on you, it is fair for them to name the place to eat. You know?”
“Did it have to be at some upscale place that requires me to dress up like some tosser?” Glory asks.
“Where would you prefer to host this dinner meeting? Burger King?”
“Actually…yes…”
“Well that won’t happen.” Kurt chuckles. “It’d be funny but it won’t happen.”
“I know. Still, I can complain all I want and it’s your job as my loving husband to shut up and deal with it. I should be preparing for Trios right now. Shit, when it comes to playing dress up I would probably rather wear one of those fru-fru get ups and become the next Shining Maiden alongside YUYO than wear this!”
“Now there’s a team building exercise if I ever heard one.” Kurt winks. “You and Gavin should become the next Shining Maidens.”
“And you can shut your trap, Kurt.” Glory states pointedly.
“I can easily find a way to contact YUYO and let her know of this brilliant idea.”
“And if you do, I can easily find a way to punch you in the face.”
“You really are on edge tonight, huh?” Kurt smirks. “Don’t worry, Cujo, I won’t put any ideas into YUYO’s head.”
“Did you just call me a dog?”
“Maybe.” Kurt kisses her again, this time on the forehead. “But forget about that, for now. Like it or not we do need to leave for that dinner and soon. But uh, first, there is one other item of business you need to take care of.”
“What else?” Glory says with a roll of her eyes.
“Honestly, I’m not really sure myself.” Kurt shrugs his shoulders. “It’s just some guy came by and he wants to speak with you. He sounds rather desperate.”
“So let me get this straight.” Glory asks with a furrowed brow. “A stranger stops by, he sounds desperate, and you let him in?”
“I didn’t let him in. He’s waiting on the front doorstep. But he isn’t dressed like some trouble maker if that’s what you’re worried about. Actually, I thought he might have been with one of your board members and needed a ride. He is dressed rather nice, like he was planning to attend.”
“Oh really?” Glory asks, her curiosity now peaked. “Well, I suppose it won’t hurt.” She kisses Kurt on the lips. “Sorry if I am a bit on edge, love.”
“It’s ok, babe. I know these types of events put you in a bad mood.”
“That’s putting it mildly.”
Glory Braddock hugs Kurt one more time before making her way out of the bedroom. She walks down the hall and towards the front door of her immaculate modern Miami, Florida home. If this is indeed someone connected to her company’s board of directors, it would serve to treat this man nicely. She prepares to put on her best shareholder act as she opens the door. She sees a dark haired gentleman standing there. He is dressed nice, as Kurt had said, but not exactly nice enough for this fancy dinner party. He wears a nice black bolo shirt and a pair of dress khaki pants and black dress shoes.
“Yes, may I help you?”
“Oh, you must be Ms. Braddock…” the man says with a thick English accent.
“That’s me, but you can call me Glory.” She shakes his hand. “And you are?”
“Franklin Jefferson.” Franklin responds. “It is nice to meet you.”
“Same.” Glory sighs. “So, uh, which of my esteemed board members are you connected to?”
“Board?” Franklin shakes his head. “Oh no, I am not connected to your company in any way. Although I have heard about your charitable causes and perhaps I might donate one day.”
“So you’re here to make a donation?”
“No, I am not.” Franklin shakes his head. “But I would be inclined to make a hefty donation to any or all of your causes if you can help me.”
“What do you need, Mr. Jefferson?” Glory asks, folding her arms over her chest.
“I was hoping you could help me find someone.” He reaches into his pocket and produces a picture and shows it to Glory. She raises her eyes in shock. There are some slight differences, but not many. This young girl looks almost identical to Serena; her sister Julia’s adopted daughter. The one she found roaming the streets homeless.
“Who…uh…who is this?” Glory doesn’t want to let on that she knows anything. Not yet, at least.
“This is a picture of my niece. Her and her vanished while on a skiing trip. There was an accident. But this girl…she had a twin sister. Grace, Grace Jefferson, my other niece. Her twin and their parents, their bodies were discovered eventually. My poor Grace, she was never found.”
Grace. That name rings a bell for Glory Braddock. Before being found by Julia, Serena had suffered from a severe case of amnesia. The only thing she could remember about her past was the name Grace. This, combined with the near identical appearance of this girl in the photo, has her convinced. Serena is Franklin Jefferson’s niece.
“And I believe I have found her myself.” He sighs. “But I need your help to be certain.”
“Why me?”
“Because your sister, Ms. Julia Braddock, I believe she has adopted my niece as her own daughter.”
“Then shouldn’t you take this up with my sister?” Glory asks. “I would rather not get involved in this if I can help it.”
“I understand and yes, I did try approaching your sister first. But for some reason she has refused my request to have any DNA tests run to see if she really is my long lost niece.” Glory can sense the pain in his voice. “I have no idea why she would refuse me.”
It makes no sense to him because he doesn’t know Julia. Glory does know Julia and she has an idea of why she might be trying to prevent this reunion. She is afraid, afraid of losing Serena for good if she were to learn the truth of her heritage and her past. But what Julia is doing isn’t right. Serena has every right to know about her past and Franklin, as perhaps her only living biological relative, has every right to have a relationship with her. But does Glory want to get involved with this and potentially start a feud with her sister Julia?
“I know I am putting you in an awkward position, Glory…”
“That’s putting it mildly.” Glory says, sighing deeply. “You’re asking me to go against my own sister.”
“I have run out of options.” Franklin says through pleading eyes. “Please, consider helping me.”

“I understand.” Franklin nods his head. “Thank you for hearing me out, Glory.”
“Yeah, sure.” She watches as Franklin walks off. Glory shuts the door and walks back inside. She sighs deeply and stands there for a moment, taking it all in, as her husband, Kurt Logan, slowly approaches from the hall. She looks up as she slowly realizes his presence…
“What was that all about?” Kurt asks.
“You don’t want to know.” Glory says. “Let’s just say my life got a little more complicated.”

We open outside in a serena park with tall trees casting dappled shadows on the ground. There is a winding path lined with benches and flower beds, creating a peaceful scenery. Then Glory Braddock enters the scene from the right. She stands tall and confident with her long blonde hair cascading down to past the shoulders. Glory is dressed casually yet stylishly. She wears a royal purple blouse made of soft, flowing fabric that billows slightly in the breeze. The blouse has a subtle sheen. The color gives her an air of regality, while the relaxed fit of the blouse keeps it comfortable. Her jeans are form-fitting but practical, dark-washed, and slightly faded. On her feet, she wears simple black flats.
“The rumors are true, the one singular event that can shake the foundations of Supreme Championship Wrestling to its very core has returned. It is the one event where you have to put your selfish, greedy desires on the backburner and work together with unusual and sometimes antagonistic individuals in order to achieve a common goal, but if you can work together, if you can put your own greed aside if you can ignore that ego of yours for just one moment, then you stand a chance of achieving something incredible. You have the opportunity to wield real power, the power to create great change, either for all of SCW or, selfishly, just for yourself.” Braddock pats to herself. “I should know, perhaps better than anyone else in this event. I have won this event two times before.” The British Bombshell smirks knowingly as she nods her head.
“Of course I am talking about the Trios Tournament. Teams of three, three individuals who you would not think it possible to work together, to get along, but will be forced to work together and get along all with the hopes of winning a Trios Contract, which comes with it the power to book any match of their heart’s desire. This year certainly has some interesting dynamics, if I do say so myself. That scummy Heaven working with Xander and Amelia. Blake Mason returns, piledrives Josh Hudson, and now has to work with Hudson and Katie Steward. Selena Frost and Polly have been fighting each other for quite awhile now and yet they have to team up with a returning Andrew Raynes who I’m sure hates both of them. Of course I would be remiss if I didn’t mention my own first opponents…Kirsten Scott has made it a point to make an enemy out of anyone and everyone not named Kandis. And after Leroy Adams showed his own true colors…yellow, by the way…can either be trusted to work with another scumbag named Wil Pierce?” Braddock shrugs her shoulders.
“Perhaps I should just look in the mirror before I cast judgment? Doesn’t the good book say something to that effect? So let’s roll with that. Can yours truly, a certain Magical Cosmic Princess, and an All Star put their differences aside and do this dance through the 2024 Trios Tournament and win the whole damn thing? Well let’s look at history. Gavin Taylor may come off as a smug, arrogant, tart, but he has won a Trios Tournament with perhaps the unlikeliest of Trios Teams. And as for me, well far be it for me to toot my own horn but I have won Trios not once but twice. I won my first alongside Regan Street and Kellen Jeffries, two individuals who you never truly could tell what you would get out of them, you could never truly tell if you trust them. But we worked together, we pulled it together, and we won it all. The very next year I had to work with arguably the most outlandish personality to ever grace an SCW ring…that’s right, Ace Marshall. But with him and David Helms by my side, we won Trios. The message here, in case you haven’t been paying attention, is that Gavin and myself have a reputation for being able to work alongside anyone SCW puts us with. You can put either one of us on any team and we are a threat to win it all. But we are on the same side this year. What does that tell you about our chances this year?” Glory smirks knowingly.
“Bet on Braddock. Bet on the All Star. What about our Magical Cosmic Princess? Well, for me, I would never bet against a cosmic princess who knows magic. But you damn sure wouldn’t want to bet against the reigning SCW Adrenaline Champion who has been on a roll ever since making her return to this company. Don’t you think she would love to add a Trios Contract to her list of impressive accomplishments? You damn right she does. This team has the motivation and the ability to win it all. Do not bet against us.” She shakes her head. “And we are going to take this one step at a time, one match at a time, starting with our unlikely opposition.”
“Kirsten Scott, you’re the only person on your team with Trios experience, but can you really trust them? Leroy Adams has proven he isn’t trustworthy. He proved that his loyalty can be bought and sold. Shit, what if my less than savory partner Gavin paid Leroy to just lay down? That’s all Leroy cares about, right? A pay day. Can you or Pierce really trust that wanker? Can you trust one another? Pierce has made it clear that he has few friends and those friends aren’t named Kirsten or Leroy.” She points a finger at the camera. “Kirsten, is The One threat on that team, and that is because of her past success and experience in this tournament. Willy and Leroy have no idea what is coming. Gavin and I know what to expect. Gavin and I know how to win. YUYO, she has been ready for anything and everything that has been thrown her way since returning. We will be ready to take you lot down. We will take down whoever is unlikely enough to face us in the semi-finals. Sic Semper Tyrannis, bitches.”
