Kimberly Williams had an uneventful night on Breakdown in Buffalo. Outside of a rather unique game she was playing with her stuffed penguin plushy pal Wasley, nothing of note happened to The Woman Scorned. Sure, she was called out yet again by the Fall of Man. But once again she plans to ignore them. They may be a threat to SCW but Kimberly has no desire to save SCW. She has no desire to play hero and stop this group from wreaking havoc. As far as Kim is concerned, let them do whatever they want and let the blood they spill be on her hands. She doesn’t care. Let someone else step up to stop the Fall of Man. It isn’t Kimberly’s concern, it isn’t her responsibility. The Woman Scorned only has one concern and one concern alone; to recapture the SCW Underground Championship. This puts two people square on her radar screen; the current number one contender, Brittany Lohan, as well as the new champion YUSA of The Shining Maidens.

Ordinarily Kim would go back to her old tricks and utilize the strategy that has always worked best; create as much chaos as possible and force SCW’s hand, force them to give her what she wants. The Woman Scorned is doing everything she can to resist the urge to do just that; but her mother, Angelica Jones, who has been her advocate and manager in SCW for quite some time now, has encouraged her to work her way back up to the championship match. She has urged her to prove that she is worthy of the one on one rematch she claims she rightfully deserves. This week on Breakdown, Kimberly finds herself in a unique opportunity to not only prove herself but also to spread her own brand of chaos in the process. The Woman Scorned finds herself in a four way against Gavin Taylor, Veronica Strader, and Chris Dumont. One fall to a finish, sudden death, anything could happen in this match. This four way match is practically right down Kim’s wheelhouse. Gavin Taylor might not be an Underground All Star (pun intended) but Strader and Dumont are well known for their love to fight. Kimberly Williams recognizes this as an opportunity to make a statement.

Still, not all is well with Kimberly Williams. Sure, she may be back where she feels most comfortable, back where she feels she truly belongs, but not everything feels right with the eccentric redhead, at least not internally, not emotionally. Her mind is still a whirlwind of doubt and confusion. This is what brings her out hiking through the dense wilderness of Massachusetts this Sunday afternoon. The wilderness surrounding the self-proclaimed Queen of the Death Match is dense; the tall trees forming a canopy that allows only slivers of sunlight to filter through, casting long, eerie shadows along the forest floor. The ground is covered with a thick layer of fallen leaves, moss, and the smell of damp earth, mingling with the scent of pine. Birds call out sporadically, and the rustle of unseen creatures moving in the underbrush keeps the forest alive with sound. Kim herself makes her way through this wilderness wearing torn black jeans that hug her legs, a simple, plain black t-shirt that is loose and well worn, and heavy black boots that leave deep impressions in the damp earth as she navigates the forest with confident strides. Her natural red hair, wild and unruly, peeks out slightly from beneath a black wig that’s deliberately messy, adding to her eccentric persona. Kimberly walks with purpose, her mismatched gait suggesting someone who knows the land but doesn’t belong to it; an outsider who is comfortable with the strange. She reaches a small clearing, where the trees give way to a patch of disturbed earth. There, half-hidden by tall grass and creeping vines, is what appears to be an unmarked grave. No headstone, no markings; just a subtle mound of earth that most would miss. But Kimberly knows this grave all too well. It is the final resting place of the woman who raised her, her former guardian Emma Floreschu. Kimberly pauses, her hand absentmindedly brushing a lock of the red hair that has escaped from her wig. Her vivid green eyes, sharp and calculating, scan the site with a quiet intensity. She crouches beside the grave, her fingers tracing the uneven soil as if trying to read the secrets buried beneath it. There’s an odd smile on her face, somewhere between curiosity and mischief, as if this grave, in the middle of nowhere, is exactly what she expected to find.

“There you are!” Kim snickers. “At least, I assume you’re down there somewhere. Maybe I should dig you up and see if you are still fabulously dead as the last time I saw you?” Kimberly laughs as she sticks her ear to the ground, as if she were listening for some spirit to speak to her from the grave itself. Then she sits up and shrugs her shoulders. “You never were much for talking, Emma. Maybe that’s why I killed you? No, wait, I remember now. I killed you because you ruined my entire fucking life!” She takes the black wig she has been wearing and rips it off. She drops it on the unmarked grave.

“I even wore black for the occasion. I know you always preferred me with black hair. My natural red locks reminded you too much of my true heritage. Black represents the black heart you wanted me to have. You wanted to create within me a black heart to match yours. And I gotta admit, you were damn near successful. I almost turned out just like you. You wanted me to hate my family, the Jones family, as much as you hated them. When you told me that I had a twin sister…and when I learned how famous she was…” she snickers nastily “...oh I was so damn jealous, so damn envious, and that’s what you wanted. You wanted me to be crazy jealous of Marie. I was so jealous of my twin that I went as far as to kidnap her and convince the whole damn laughing world that I was her. You did that, Emma. You made me that crazed. Congratulations.” She throws her head back and laughs.

“But life is full of irony, isn’t it, Emma? I have essentially taken Marie’s spot as the most popular of the two of us. Being so damn popular isn’t as easy as I thought it would be. Actually, it’s quite stressful. Trying to be everything for everyone, just to maintain that popularity. But then I realized my mistake. I was popular not because I was going for cheap pops, I was popular not because I was changing myself just for the cheers of the fans. I was most popular when I was my own demented, eccentric, crazy self. I didn’t have to be the kind of hero my mother or my sister was to be popular. Hell, being a hero is too much of a goddamn burden for me. Carrying that kind of burden is enough to drive anyone crazy and it drove me even crazier than I already was.” She nods her head.

“I made a legitimate attempt at normalcy. I made a legitimate attempt to become the kind of person my sister is; but I was never meant to be normal.” She shakes her head. “This right here, Crazy Kim, that’s who I am. This is who I was meant to be. Any chance of my being normal was stolen from me the moment you entered my life, Emma.” Kimberly stands up and glares angrily down at the unmarked grave. Then she spits on it. “Thanks for ruining my life, Emma. Rest in hell.”

The snapping of twigs is heard. Kim hears this and immediately freezes in place. She was followed but by whom? The Woman Scorned breathes a sigh of relief as she realizes it can only be one person. She turns around to find her identical twin sister, Marie Jones, standing there nearby. Unlike Kimberly’s chaotic appearance, Marie is composed and understated, dressed in a simple yet practical outfit: a fitted denim jacket over a plain white t-shirt, dark jeans, and hiking shoes. Her hair, the same fiery red as Kimberly’s natural hair, is neatly tied back in a ponytail, revealing her sharp features. While the two women share the same striking green eyes, Marie’s gaze is calm and questioning, in contrast to Kimberly’s startled and guarded look. Marie’s presence seems to shift the atmosphere, making the forest feel less eerie but no less tense. She steps closer, brushing a low-hanging branch out of her way, her expression a mix of concern and quiet determination. Kimberly’s hands twitch nervously at her sides, the calm confidence she carried moments ago now replaced with the shock of seeing someone she wasn’t prepared for.

“What are you doing here, Marie?”

“I could ask you the same thing.”

“I told you to wait in the car.” Kim says with a frustrated sigh.

“And I got worried about you.” Marie says. “You just haven’t been acting like yourself lately. And then this, you wanted to come out here and why? What is this place, anyway?”

“I knew I shouldn’t have let you come.” Kim rolls her eyes.

“Too bad, I’m here now and I want to know what this is all about.” Marie places a hand on her shoulder. “I am your sister, Kim. I am worried about you.”

“There’s nothing to be worried about.” Kimberly insists. “Trust me, I am fine.”

“Are you? I mean, I still think back to Apocalypse and how you chose to handle that situation with Waylon Creek and the Fall of Man.”

“You didn’t have to help me.”

“I know but I wanted to, because you are my sister and I want to support you. And quite frankly, Creek had it coming. But still, that isn’t like you.”

“What? Creek and SCW had no idea who would actually be fighting that night.” A sinister grin forms on her face. “No one knew what would happen until the trap was sprung. It was beautiful, glorious chaos. And that is definitely me, sis. Chaos, mayhem, unpredictability…that’s me. Going out there and fighting the good fight because the Fall of Man are bad, because my good name was challenged, that is predictable and not me. Fighting the good fight is the role of the hero and that is you, Marie. I realized that I have spent far too much time trying to be like you and where did it get me? I lost the Underground Championship. I lost focus because I was too busy trying to be a hero. I am no hero and that is not a role I am even remotely interested in learning how to play.” She sighs. “If that’s a role you want to play, go ahead. But I’m not interested.”

There is a tense pause as Kimberly and Marie stare into each other’s eyes. Marie can sense that there is something else about this that is bothering Kim. She just can’t seem to put her finger on it. Not yet, anyway.

“Where are we, Kim? Why did you hike all the way out here?”

“You really want to know?”

“Yes.” Marie insists, nodding her head. Kimberly sighs and kneels back down next to the unmarked grave.

“This is…this is where Emma is buried.”

“Emma?” Marie’s eyes grow wide with shock. “As in…mom’s rival? The woman who tried to destroy her life?”

“The one and the same.”

“Well I guess that confirms the fact that she’s dead.” Marie says matter of factly as she kneels down next to her sister. “I mean, it has been nearly a decade since any of us had heard from her. We suspected she had been dead. But…how did you know?”

“Do you really want me to answer that?” Kim asks with a wicked grin. Marie shakes her head.

“I suppose not.”

“Emma raised me. Yes, Angelica is my mother, biologically speaking, but she didn’t raise me, she never got the chance to raise me. Emma raised me and all of her psychotic, sociopathic, twisted, corrupt philosophies warped my mind permanently.”

“But mom and I, we took you in.” Marie insists. “We accepted you and…”

“Yes, you accepted me as one of the family, and I appreciate that, but what you and mom fail to realize is that I will never ever be like either of you. Our half-sister, Jessica, she doesn’t particularly like me. She just tolerates me. And that’s because she knows the truth…” Kim sighs “...that I will never truly be a Jones.”

Marie stands back up, as does Kim. Marie shakes her head. “Is that what this nonsense is all about? You don’t feel like you belong? After all this time of being a part of this family and you still don’t feel like you are a Jones?”

“Partially…” Kim sighs and shrugs her shoulders “...I mean, legitimately I do feel that there is much more I can accomplish in the Underground. I legitimately enjoy that kind of combat as opposed to the traditional wrestling style. I am also legitimately irked that people like Juneau McFrosty can get their one on one guaranteed title rematches but when I lost the Underground Title to whatshername months ago, I have to settle for a four way dance?” Kim shakes her head. “I am going to raise hell in the Underground Division until I get my one on one rematch at the title, regardless of who the title holder happens to be.”

“Fair enough, I suppose.” Marie places her hand back on Kim’s shoulder. “But you ARE one of us, you ARE a Jones. You are family.”

“I may be family by blood but am I really family? Am I really like any of the rest of you?” Kimberly shakes her head. “Nah, not really. Let’s face facts. My mind is permanently scarred. I am a psychopath. But that’s ok. I am ok with that.” Kim turns her head, not wanting to look at her sister. Marie, though, embraces her in a tight hug.

“It breaks my heart seeing you like this. It really does.”

“Don’t feel bad for me.” Kim says in a far more light hearted tone that contrasts sharply with the more somber mood of this conversation. “I am perfectly happy with who I am.”

“I just wish there was something I could do to help.”

“You don’t need to do anything.” Kim insists. “I’m fine, honest. But you can do me one favor.”

“What is it? Anything.”

“Don’t tell mom about any of this.” Kim winks. “You know how she gets. She gets wind of what I told you and she’ll be all motherly and shit and want to help. But I don’t NEED any help.”

“Well…” Marie shrugs “...mothers will be motherly.”

“Cute.” Kim snickers. “But I am serious, don’t tell her.”

“Ok, I won’t say a word.” Marie pretends to zip her lines. “My lips are sealed.”

“Good.” Kim starts to walk away. “Come on, let’s go. I have a busy week ahead.”

“You sure do.” Marie says as she follows Kim’s lead through the dense forest. “Gavin, Strader, and Dumont in one match. You wanted chaos, you’ll get it with those three.”

“Strader and Dumon, at least.” Kim snickers. “But Gavin? I think he fears the Underground. I’ll give him REASON to fear it.”

“This is a good opportunity for you, y’know? You win this, you beat those three, and add that to the fact that you never did get your one on one rematch like you said, then you have a really strong case to get a title shot in the future.”

That is the goal, Kim thinks to herself. She feels as if she still has more to contribute to the Underground and this coming Breakdown is her opportunity to prove it. Officially it may not be an Underground Rules Match but this is four competitors, one fall to a finish, so chaos and violence is highly likely. In all honesty, this is an Underground Match and Kimberly plans to make her point, to make her intentions known at the expense of her three opponents. She is no longer a hero. She never was a hero. She an agent of chaos and she plans to bring her brand of chaos back to the SCW Underground Division.

Still, more troubling thoughts linger in the back of her mind. Kimberly is biologically Marie’s sister, she is biologically Angelica’s daughter, but she still doesn’t feel as if she truly belongs. She doesn’t feel as if she really is a Jones. She is something else entirely. But what is she? Who is she?
