Syren vs. Kimberly Williams

Dogfight in Dusseldorf has ended and Kimberly Williams was victorious against YUSA in what amounted to a full scale Underground war. The Woman Scorned wanted to see if YUSA could truly handle herself in the Underground environment if the Brilliant Sun Princess truly intended on sticking around in the Underground Division. YUSA certainly held her own and earned Kim’s respect. More importantly for The Queen of the Death Match, this victory reminded her that she is still the ruler of the Underground and perhaps puts her one step closer to a one on one shot at the SCW Underground Championship. Now that Brittany Lohan has had her title opportunity and failed, the field is wide open. No number one contenders. Kimberly, potentially, can sneak in and reclaim what is hers. Kim now can move on to focus on the future. She hopes that her future will eventually include a shot at the SCW Underground Championship. But for now, The Woman Scorned is focused on her upcoming match against Syren. It will be the first match since Dogfight and Kimberly is certainly worse for the wear after the Underground war against Brilliant Sun Princess YUSA, but she can forget about the pain and the hurt, because she feels especially motivated to defeat Syren and halt whatever momentum she may have. Syren was leading Infamous when they had their reign of terror alongside Katya D, both of whom manipulated, used, and abused Kimberly’s twin sister Marie Jones. This is one grudge that Kimberly refuses to let go of; most of the roster and the fans have seemingly been willing to forget and even forgive Syren for her past actions. But not Kim. When you target her family, Kimberly will never forgive or forget. This isn’t even a typical match for The Woman Scorned. This isn’t about advancing her own career. Kim just wants one thing out of this; she wants to hurt Syren.

For now Kimberly Williams is trying not to think about her war with YUSA in Dusseldorf or about her upcoming war with Syren on Breakdown. Instead she is trying to relax and enjoy spending time with her boyfriend Tommy. They have moved into a new, slightly more modern and more comfortable living conditions than the home Kim has been accustomed to; it is still a bit of an adjustment for The Woman Scorned but as long as she has Tommy with her, she can handle it. Kim sits on a beige couch in the warmly lit living room to the left of Tommy. She has shoulder length red hair and is wearing a plain black t-shirt and ripped faded blue jeans. Tommy has an imposing build, broad shoulders, and a full thick beard. He is wearing a fitted gray shirt and blue jeans. His muscular arms resting naturally, with one draped protectively around Kim’s shoulders. His expression is calm, his gaze directed forward with quiet intensity. The living room exudes a welcoming atmosphere, filled with bookshelves in the background that are neatly lined with books. The warm lighting from a lamp in the background casts a soft glow over the couple, adding to the serene mood. A plush black and white stuffed penguin, affectionately known as Wasley, rests against the arm of the couch, contributing a touch of whimsy and personal charm. In the foreground, slightly out of focus, a small, curious hamster, Kim’s friend Caligula, is visible, adding a playful element to the scene. Kim reaches over and scoops up the hamster into her hands and stares into his beady eyes, grinning playfully.

“Oh Caligula! Mommy is soooo happy to have you here! This place is so strange and hard to get used to…”

“It’s ok, ya got me babe.” Tommy says, patting Kim on the back. Suddenly Kim takes Caligula and puts him up close to Tommy’s face and, as per the norm for the eccentric ginger, she provides the ‘voice’ for the hamster.

“Shut up ya fat fuck! The bitch was talkin’ to me!”

“How rude!” Kim says scoldingly at the hamster. “That’s not nice! Apologize to Tommy!”

“I aint apologizing to that dumbass! And you aren’t exactly a genius either. Why the fuck would ya even have any problems with these nice digs? It’s much better than that dump ya had me living in!”

“That ‘dump’ was our home, Caligula!” Kim exclaims angrily. “Besides, it’s just…it’s just new.”

“It’s alright, babe.” Tommy chuckles as he kisses Kim gently on the lips. She sets the hamster back down to where she had found him. Tommy is quite used to Kim ‘arguing’ with Caligula the hamster. Her quirks are part of her charm that he loves. “New things take time. I’m just proud that you’re trying something new.”

“Yeah, well, I still feel like I’m betraying who I am.” Kim sighs as she rests her head against Tommy’s chest.

“That’s nonsense.”

“I know. I mean, I have always known how lucky I am to have all of this…the money, the wealth…and I have always believed that my mom and my sister always took all of that for granted. That’s the only reason I wanted to live in…well…a dump. I wanted to keep myself grounded in reality.”

“And you’re worried that living here in this place will make you lose yourself?”

“Well yeah!” Kim nods her head. “I love them, but I don’t want to be like my mom and sister with how they live in the lap of luxury. I definitely don’t want to be like that annoying brat Syren.” She growls at the mention of Syren, her opponent for Breakdown. “Sad fact is that people like them have lost touch with reality. They have no idea what real people go through to survive.”

“You are a lot of things but that is not one of them.” Tommy says with a laugh. “People can say you have lost touch with reality but definitely not in that way.”

“You mean that?” Kim says with a playful wink.

“You are one in a million. You are unique.” He chuckles. “Trust me.”

“Thanks!” Kim kisses him on the lips. Kim picks up her penguin, Wasley, and holds it close to her chest. Tommy smiles down at his girlfriend.

“Is that why you don’t like Syren?”

“Huh?”

“You know…the whole not being in touch with reality part…is that why you hate Syren so much?”

“I think you know why I hate Syren so much.” Kim says, her usual jovial tone growing more serious. “She manipulated my sister. She used Marie. She abused her. I am a fun loving Crazy Kim most of the time but when you go and screw with my family, you’ve made an enemy for life. I don’t care what she says or what anyone else says, I am never going to be ready to forgive her and any chance I get to hurt her, to maim her, I will take it.”

“Sooooo I take it you are looking forward to fighting her on Breakdown?” Tommy asks with a chuckle.

“Duh!”

“I’m just glad you are taking some time out of your busy schedule to relax and spend time with the boyfriend you neglected.”

“You mean Calgiula?” Kim says, smirking coyly.

“I mean me!” Tommy laughs. “I love ya, babe, but you do need to learn to slow down a little, especially after Dogfight in Dusseldorf. That Underground Match of yours, I gotta admit, it was tough to watch.”

“Oh come on,” Kim winks playfully “you were once a wrestler. You know how it is!”

“I do but I never competed in the Underground and I certainly never took the kinda risks you did.”

“Ok, ya got me there!” Kim shrugs her shoulders.

“You do need to slow down, though, babe.” Tommy answers back softly. “You have taken on a lot of responsibilities and projects lately.”

“Yeah, yeah, I know, but it’s worth it.” Kim nods her head. “Speaking of which, did you hear back from the real estate agent about my new pet project?”

“What you got planned is hardly a ‘pet project’ babe. Your plan is not only complex but its risky.”

“Me? Taking risks? The thought!” Kim smirks. “Now tell me…have you heard anything?”

“Yeah.” He nods his head.

“Great! So quit stalling! What happened?”

“Quite a bit, actually. They closed on your most recent purchase.”

“So I got a new home I can rent out? Cool beans!” Kim seems excited. She looks her penguin. “Hear that Wasley? We own another home! Another rental property!”

“Yeah, about that…” Tommy begins, sounding a little skeptical “...explain to me again why you want to get involved in real estate? I mean, this just doesn’t sound like you. Not at all. And like I said, it is risky. You’re renting out to…”

“Risky tenants? Yeah, I know.” Kim nods her head. “But see that’s the thing, I want to help. I need to help in some way. It’s the one connection I have with my grandfather, Bart Jones. He and I both have a strong desire for justice…not what society says is just bt what is truly just. Do you really think that people who are poor, who are disadvantage, must be homeless? Do you think its right that they have to live that way because that was the hand they were dealt? Some of them would kill to live in that ‘dump’ I used to live in. So why not use some of this wealth I have, this money that I’m not using anyway, and put it to good use? Why not purchase some property and rent it out cheap to people who could use a place to stay?”

“Low income housing for the needy is noble but…” Tommy sighs “...like I said, there are risks.”

“You and everyone else have said that over and over again.” Kim rolls her eyes. “I get it. But I’m not a certifiable lunatic for no reason! Now is there anything else you heard while I was away shedding pints of blood and taking years off of my life in Dusseldorf?”

Tommy pauses for a moment to think. Then he nods his head. “Yeah, there was one other thing. Kimberly….Lambert, Kim Lambert the real estate agent, not you…”

“Heh, the inferior Kim!”

“Huh?”

“Call her the Inferior Kim!” Williams says playfully. “We gotta find a way to tell each other apart! There can only be one true Kim!”

“I think Kimberly Lambert works, babe.” Tommy winks.

“I think Inferior Kim works too, but whatever.” She shrugs her shoulders.

“Well, the real estate agent Kim says that she might have a renter for one of your homes.”

“Oh really? That was quick!” Kimberly instantly perks up at the news. “Who is it?”

“No clue.” He shrugs. “Lambert says that the renter insists on privacy.”

“What is she, some kinda secret agent?” Kim rolls her eyes.

“Who knows? But that’s not the only weird thing. She also insists on signing the lease only if YOU are present.”

“She…” Kim smirks “...so it’s a girl!”

“Yeah, the possible new tenant is a female, but that’s all Lambert says she is allowed to disclose.”

“And I can’t know anything about my new…well, MY FIRST…renter?”

“Nope.” Tommy shakes his head. “She insists on privacy up until the time of the signing and she wants to sign in your presence, and unless those points are met the deal is off.”

“I’m the Lord of the Land…or Lady of the Land…Land Lady? Whatever.” Kim shakes her head. “I thought I dictated the terms?! What gives?!”

“I dunno, babe.” Tommy shakes his head. “This is all new to me too.”

“Well, what do you think Wasley?” Kim putts the penguin plushie up to her ear as if she is listening to it. Tommy chuckles.

“What does the penguin say?”

“He says that this situation is definitely strange…but then again, so am I!” Kim grins from ear to ear. “So let’s tell Inferior Kimmy that we agree to the terms!”

“Are you sure?” Tommy asks. “This is very strange, you know?”

“I know but trust me, sweetie. I will be just fine.”

Kimberly Williams does indeed have a lot on her plate. She wants to regain the SCW Underground Championship. Before that she has an opportunity to get further revenge against a hated rival named Syren. And on top of all of that, she has own side project, the low income housing real estate project she is involved with. Is she spreading herself too thin? Perhaps. But Kim was never known for making well thought out decisions. She just does things when an idea strikes her and when she feels motivated enough she will throw everything she has behind it. In each of these three cases, Kimberly is deeply motivated to succeed. She is motivated to win back the Underground Title. She is motivated to hurt Syren. She is motivated to help needy people, people in need of a home. And she will throw all of her effort into making sure she succeeds.
