No, I’m not going to ask you if you believe or not. Not this particular time. I am sure I will ask that again very soon… but for now, I have a different question that is weighing on my mind.  A different question orbiting around in my brain.

Are you ready?

Are you ready, SCW Universe? Are you ready to have everything here rocked down to the core? Are you ready to see the culmination of your wish? The Wild, Wild West of SCW? That all is coming to a head! A conclusion! It all comes to a head this July at Rise to Greatness!

And it’s not like you haven’t been warned. I mean, come on, unless you’ve been plugging your ears with your fingers and going “blah blah blah blah”, and let’s face it – some of you have been doing that this whole time – but those of you that haven’t, it’s not like you haven’t been told about this.

You’ve been told. You’ve been told, warned, all of it… by me.

This isn’t a game, people. You understand? This isn’t some promo where I primp myself up like Syren or Glory Braddock. This isn’t some little trick like Fall of Man has done by throwing the word ‘inevitable’ around just because it’s catchy – only to drop the ball, trip at the finish line, Maple-Leaf-it, and need a ‘do-over’ to do it right, you know?

No. I’ve kept every promise I have made this year. I have dominated, destroyed, and silenced every person that’s stepped in my way. Every critic that doubted me. Every person that’s wanted my spot. My power. My position. To the point where I call all of you mere playthings in MY world… and it has credibility! Can anyone else say that here?!

Fall of Man? Xander Valentine? Syren? Hudson? Kandis? Dante Slayton? Can anybody say that this is ‘their world’ and people actually have to wonder if it truly is true?

Nobody but me can say that and have it even be considered. Nobody can say that and have it even be remotely true. Because nobody has been so undeniable and untouchable as me. Even Mr. Cant-Handle-Business-Kid can’t doubt that. The fact that I hold all the cards, all the power, even without the world title. You run the list of people that have held the top spot in this place this past year – you run the Elite 15s, the ranking systems, you go through it all… and I’m the only person that’s stayed at the top without the world championship and I’m the only person that’s kept there this ENTIRE time!

Where’s Hudson? Where’s Xander? Where was James last time he messed with me?

And I’ve called my shot. I’ve said it up and down and despite interruptions and people trying to ride my coattails to success and fame, I’ve maintained it. I am winning Taking Hold of the Flame. Period. Full stop. Destiny in play here. Fate in my hands. Etched in stone. It is set that I will be in the main-event at Rise to Greatness. So, I ask again, with one more Breakdown show before it all comes to a head…

Are you ready?

Are you ready to see me achieve this? Are you ready to see me prove another promise – perhaps the biggest promise – true? Are you prepared to accept what I have said for so long now? Are you just going to put your fingers in your ears and continue to look stupid?

Because it makes no difference either way. It changes nothing. YOU – the SCW Universe – change NOTHING! Because when I say that this is my world, everyone else just lives in it, I wasn’t just talking about the wrestlers and the SCW crew. I meant each and every one of you as well. You all live in this world that belongs to me. You tune in and watch MY show. You watch my matches and everything that has happened here in SCW is because I let it.

Don’t believe me? Ask your ‘latest flavour’ Xander Valentine. There’s a reason he came down after MY match – MY main-event – to announce his cash-in. Could have done it at the start of the show. Could have done mid-way. Could have waited and posted it on the SCW website. Backstage. CHBK’s office. Hell, he could have surprised everyone and shown he knowns how to use X.

Nope.

He did it because it was ME. Because all eyes were on ME and not only can he not stand that never-changing reality, but he can use it. He can use it to get some extra attention. He did it because nothing is bigger than Selena Frost – the Face of SCW!

But am I md? Not really. He’s just playing big bad wolf in my world right now. And you’re just the audience. The watchers. The people that pay to be part of my world.

And Dante… you’re no exception to any of that.

Now, before you go off postulating about wanting to be World Champion and Evans and before you go showing me your pedigree and parentage for the umpteenth time, Dante, let me just take this opportunity to say – I don’t give a damn. You want to postulate about how much about this business you know? Okay. You want to primp yourself up as this dangerous man. Okay. You want to spin this narrative of being underestimated and being the underdog? Okay.

Do all of it, Dante. I want you to! I want you to entertain us with these stories of yours. I want you to share those stories and wonders and make us all believe that you can pull off another ‘miracle’ and beat a top-tier star like you did Syren.

But let’s be clear here of something, little boy. You didn’t beat Syren two weeks ago, Dante. You beat the scraps I left behind in the ring at Rebirth. You beat the shell of the woman that I humiliated and embarrassed, once again, at the last Pay-Per-View. To the point where she won’t even mention the loss in her promo – hell, she didn’t even have the will to do a promo against you when you faced her last Breakdown, did she? Probably crying her eyes out while Lexy stroked her hair and told her what a ‘great wrestler’ she is. ‘The greatest!’, am I right?

See, Dante, that’s what I do. I hold the standard to everyone and I expose them as either ‘capable’ of reaching it… or just full of crap. I don’t need to talk about your win-loss record like the low-hanging branch that it is. Not when I’ve dealt with so many people like you this past year, Dante. People like Adam Brock and Chris Lawler. Guys that thought they could stroll on it and take me on and that’s all they had to do to win. To beat me. Don’t need to, Dante. All I have to do is hold that standard – MY standard and ability – up and see if you can reach it.

Because I know you can’t.

Don’t get me wrong, boy. You’re good. No no! I’ll give it to you, kid. You’re pretty damn good! Losses aside, it’s like you said! You don’t get to SCW without having ability, and you don’t beat Syren, even a shell of what she once was, without some dangerous qualities. But if you’re expecting me to be scared of you because of that? Oh, poor little Dante…

How can I be scared of you just because you beat someone that I beat? How can I be scared when THAT’S your greatest SCW accomplishment thus far? An assisted win? Better yet, how can I be scared of a little boy running around pretending to be ‘The Devil’… when I’ve been the Devil far longer?

That’s right, I’m going there! You speak of the Devil and she appears. I have appeared, Dante, because you think just because you use a catchy name, it puts you on the same level as the woman that’s earned that name?! You talked all that smack about people using ‘gimmicks’ while you ‘keep it real’, yet you throw that name around like it’s yours? You talk like the world title is yours just because you want it?

Dante… NOTHING here is yours! You understand me? It’s mine.

It’s mine, Dante, and there is a REASON you are not in the breath of any consideration of having what I have. Having a chance at the world title or earning a ‘Devil’ name! And there is a reason why you are merely the Fall of Man’s little punching bag when they’re bored. Why you are here now, about to face the favorite to win the royale you so desperately want to enter and win…

It’s because you need to be given a reality check, little boy. For all your talents and knowledge, Dante, you need to be taught a lesson.

That lesson is you don’t get to come into my world – the world of Selena Frost – and take MY name. Demand MY title. MY spot. My rightful place without repercussions. You may very well be the world champion one day, I’ll give you that, but only when it suits ME – not you. And it doesn’t suit me right now.

No, Dante, what suits me right now is you getting embarrassed tonight. What suits me is letting you prattle on with your underdog story for a promo and then beating you around the ring before locking you into The Devil’s Gate and showing you who the true Devil of SCW is. Showing you that all you are is a little boy with a plastic pitchfork and plastic horns, standing in front of the real deal here in SCW.

Like I said, Dante, I don’t care if the SCW Universe believes right now. Their time is going to come at Taking Hold of the Flame. No… tonight is about you. Tonight is about making you believe. Making you understand what you are… and what the hell I am.

Because you’re not going to have as much fun this time as you did with Syren. No Cowgirls are going to come and help you. Nobody is going to come and distract me from what I have to do to you, boy.

I’ve made Syren believe.
I’ve made Glory quit the royale because she believes.
I’ve made Polly believe after dismantling the more successful former-Playgirl in Colleen.

Tonight, I’m going to make you believe. I’m going to make you believe in the devil that stands before you. The World-Ruler that will rule you… and the Snow Queen that is going to be the ONLY person that takes the World Championship at Rise to Greatness.
