I absolutely love this.
I was hugely against the word limit when it first came in, and yet I freely admit I was wrong. It takes so much pressure off with the 3,500 limit, and I adore it. It’s also let me be inventive in new ways, and refine my style of writing a lot, which I love.
However, when it comes to PPV matches with no limit… it always feels to me like there’s suddenly a TON of pressure on them. This would completely remove that, and genuinely make RPing for PPVs feel like fun and not feel as daunting.
I would be fine with option 2 or option 3.
I voted option 3, but that’s mostly because when you’ve got a huge PPV feud you want to do something special with the promo, which with a 3.5k limit would be a significant chunk of the final RP, if not the whole thing, used up. Therefore if I had a “big conclusion” to a story or something, I’d like the flexibility to split that out across 2. That being said, I doubt I’d actually DO three RPs for an average PPV match, but… it’d be nice to have the flexibility.
