Gem Stone Mansion
Diamond Steele sat outside on a beach chair by her pool. The California sun was beaming down on the English woman’s body as she did everything in her power to take in the warm rays of the sun to work on her perfect tan lines. She couldn’t help but crack a grin as she relaxed with her shades on. A few moments go by and she is approached by her younger sister Sapphire and her cousin Ruby. Diamond doesn’t notice them at first as she just keeps on relaxing and finally Sapphire calls out to her.
“Kate… I think we need to chat…”
Ruby chimes in as she sighs in return and looks back at the woman.
“Kate we need to talk about how we are going to operate in SCW and keep up with doing things that involve the band…”
Diamond just rolls her eyes as she finally takes off her shades and turns her attention to both of her family members. She forms an uneasy expression as she replies back.
“What is there to discuss, I think everybody needs to understand that I am truly the most beautiful thing in the entire world and when it comes to SCW there isn’t any exceptions to that. I have the belief that the Gem Stones can be among the best things to have ever graced the Supreme Championship Wrestling ring but the only way that we are going to get where we need to go is if we go out there and prove ourselves to be better than everybody else. You TWO going out to the ring and not putting on a performance worthy of being a Gem just makes us out to be disappointments…”
Diamond shakes her head as she looks deeply into Ruby’s eyes and fires back with some more comments.
“Especially when it comes to you Ruby, I know you just had your debut but they say that the first appearance means everything and that wasn’t the way that you should have conducted yourself, you know better than to tap out. We are all Gems. We need to shine brighter than anybody and everybody. On top of that how can our music get to the top of the charts when we are allowing our stock to tank by losing matches that we shouldn’t be losing, that is just sad and pathetic! We are so much better than that…”
Sapphire looks over at Ruby before she turns her attention over to her older sister.
“Look losing is part of the game… We will find a way to pick up a win. We just need to keep on pushing and eventually we will get to the destination that we need to get too…”
“NO!!!”
Diamond screams back in return as she just offers a long sigh in return.
“That should not be the attitude that you have when it comes to our careers. I should know because I have been on the losing side for a very long time but we need to do better. As a matter of fact we ARE BETTER and we WILL be better. We just need to get our heads from out of our asses and we will be able to rock the very foundation of this company. I believe that we can turn things around.”
The Cameras are rolling and as they are we are able to see Diamond Steele with an uneasy expression on her face. She offers a disgusted expression as she begins to speak.
“Good evening to all of my little Gem Stones out there. I am the most gorgeous woman in all of SCW Diamond Steele and it won’t be long until yours truly steps into the ring and teams up with Chris Lawler and Dexter Grant to win this Trios Tournament. Now I am going to be completely honest with all of you. I am highly disappointed in myself and in my family as well. My sister and cousin should have gotten the win that they desperately needed over the Vision on the last edition of Break Down. They should have done everything in their power to walk away with a win but it just wasn’t meant to be. My little cousin Ruby let me down when she was tapping out in front of the whole world and that’s not the type of momentum that I wanted to build up for the Gem Stones.
On top of that I thought I was going to enter this tournament riding the high wave of being the Television Championship but sadly that just wasn’t meant to be. Things didn’t go my way and now I am left to try to figure out a way to build myself up. I know that people in this company won’t take me seriously. Nobody ever seems to take me as being serious. When somebody looks at the card and they see that Diamond Steele is booked in a match people automatically assume that it’s going to be a free win or why does the company even bother in trying to invest into me. I swear on everything that hearing that same old narrative over and over again is going to piss me off to no end. I am not to be treated that way.
Deep down I know I have all of the ability in the world and when people just assume that the worst is going to happen that’s when I decide that I am going to step up and force you to understand that I am much more than what all of you might think about me. There’s a reason why I am the most gorgeous thing in all of wrestling. It might not appear that way in all of your eyes but just give me a chance to showcase why I am a Diamond and I guarantee that I will shine brighter than anybody could have ever imagined. I did not give up in my pursuit in the Television Championship but more importantly than that I didn’t give up in making something out of myself in this company.
If I was truly a lost cause I would have walked away. I wouldn’t give a fuck but that’s not my style. It never has been and it never will be. I love my wrestling career way too much to just throw a towel in and on top of that as a Gem, as the most expensive one at that I have to be that of a Diamond and shine brighter than anybody could have ever imagined. This tournament is the perfect place for me to really show what I am made of and I can work well with others. I know when Chris Lawler and Dexter Grant saw that they were paired with me they thought they got the short end of the stick. However I will hold my own and I got something to prove. I got to prove that I am willing to come at Sutter, Braddock, and Belmont with everything I got. If there was ever a time to step up now would be that time.
So bring it, I will be more than ready to bring it. Diamonds will last forever, mark my words on that.”
