Quick note about battle royal eliminations: For the most part, I tried to make the final ten accurate, although there are one or two notable omissions in that list, only because I elected to have some early eliminations for story or to ease the writing of the battle royal (And avoid simply having someone be there to just feed into finishers!).
The final five are legitimately the final five.
Finally - well done to everyone involved. The battle royal was arguably the hardest one to judge in years. Usually, I read the roleplays and have a sense of immediately who I feel is the winner. This year, I needed to take some time to think about it. Add that of all of the matches were either close or had some strong work as well. Everyone should be proud of what they put forward and I only hope I can develop some strong angles and stories going into Rise to Greatness so everyone is motivated like this again. I think, coming out of Taking Hold of the Flame, RTG XVI could prove to be one of the stronger builds and cards I've ever done, so I hope that I can see it through. I'm very excited about the card I've decided to move forward with.
