Konrad Raab vs. Damian Marshall
#3
North Wilkesboro, North Carolina. Tuesday 16th May. (Offline)

Another rain delay of being unable to race due to weather, but there was a plus side to this; it gave me a chance to bond with someone I should've honestly connected with at the beginning of the Xfinity Series season, my teammate, Sammy Smith. Granted, I asked William Byron to come, but he wanted to spend time with his wife, which was fair, but he promised to hang out with me on Thursday. So it was just me and Sammy Smith for today, and I really wished I could take the kid to a strip club, but he was deemed too young as he was only eighteen.

He was a young kid that already won his first race, which I was proud of; in fact, all of us in Brad Rogers Racing have won races, I won more than John and Sammy, but we all got wins in the Xfinity Series. Ty Gibbs was always the son I never had. I always treated him that way, but I treat Sammy Smith like a grandpa. He's a good kid who made mistakes, much like when I started.

Anyway, I had to figure out, since most of the strip clubs are for over twenty ones, what we were going to do as we stood outside our garages for the STARS Super Late Models racing, figuring out a plan for tonight until William Byron ironically, who was one of my good friends in NASCAR and was also doing the STARS Super Late Models Race tomorrow said this.

William Byron: "Hey, you two could always go to The Block, where there are things suitable for Sammy Smith to do. It's an amusement park I saw on my way down here."

Konrad Raab: “Thanks Will. I'll check that out."

Sammy nodded as he looked at me, knowing it was something he wanted to do, even if I wanted to take him to a strip club, but I got to follow the law. If he was in Germany, he'd be allowed to go into one and could even drink alcohol there. But he looked at me and said this.

Sammy Smith: "Yeah, I'd go to do that."

Konrad Raab: "Sounds like a deal to me."

Of course, we had to change from our racing overalls, although he was from the ARCA days. At the same time, mine was a basic Daytona two thousand and nineteen overalls testing overalls I had, it's something I've always worn during my dirt and now Super Late Models adventures racing. We returned to the changing rooms and changed into our regular clothes with the Brad Rogers racing logos on our shirts, hoodies, and jeans. We met at the entrance and exit part and grabbed an Uber to take us downtown to The Block.

Konrad Raab: "I'm so glad we're doing something together."

Sammy Smith: "Yeah, me too. Especially since you're the only teammate, I've never had the chance to talk to or socialise with."

Konrad Raab: “Same here bro. Glad we're able to make up for it now."

We left the Uber and went straight to The Block, where it was pretty busy because of the weather with the arcades, laser guns, ninja warrior adventure and, of course, the trampoline area. Of course, I wanted to do a trampoline to show Sammy what I could do as a wrestler in a safe environment. It would never hurt the kid, but Sammy had another idea.

Sammy Smith: "Hey, let's play trampoline basketball."

Konrad Raab: “Sounds good to me. Let's go to a friendly war."

So we both paid for the session we had and took our shoes off, and placed them in special shoe boxes they had. We were given a basketball and then directed to the basketball course with a bunch of trampolines. Although I had an idea that would get Sammy used to me a lot more, considering we never really spoke, apart from race meetings before and after races.

Konrad Raab: "We play basketball, but I want to show you how I do wrestling."

Sammy Smith: "You won't hurt me, will you?"

Konrad Raab: “No way, kid. I could never do that."

Sammy Smith: "But I heard you're extremely violent and scary."

It was clear the kid was afraid of me doing wrestling moves on him, and I understood because the reputation around me in terms of wrestling was known. I want to make things clear to the kid as we started jumping around with the basketball, and we could talk during the jumping activity.

Konrad Raab: "Yeah, I'm a violent wrestler, but that's because I had to be different to who I am outside the ring. The start of my wrestling career was alright. I was getting used to the ropes and even won a few titles. However, later on, in two thousand and twenty, a red hair lady named Minerva told me that I allowed myself to be a pushover and had to change. So she trained me to be who she thought I was hiding. I was hiding my anger from the years of my dad beating and burning the shit out of me."

Sammy Smith: "Ah, so that's why you became violent because of Minerva training you to go to extra lengths, discovering you were hiding who you really are?

Konrad Raab: "Yes. Wanting to be successful made me miserable, so I used wrestling to deal with my anger and give others the pain of what I've gone through my entire life. I'm not interested in winning titles. I'm a different guy in the ring, but I'm trying to figure out who I am because I'm still getting to know myself, and it's not an easy road to go by."

Sammy Smith: "I completely understand. Wrestling and NASCAR are two different sports, and I see you as a pretty decent guy. Now come on, let's continue to play."

It felt pretty good to get that off my chest as while I'm proud to be friends with Kim and we talk quite a lot backstage, I still felt alone on the road; part of the reason why I go to strip clubs after wrestling matches mostly if there was one in town so I could get attention. Anyway, I had a lot of fun with Sammy Smith, knowing I did want to talk more with him to get used to him also. He was a good kid, honestly. We played basketball for two hours, with me having a high score of one hundred and eight to Sammy's ninety-five.

Konrad Raab: "Ah, come on, Sammy, I won the basketball match; let me do some wrestling moves on you."

Sammy Smith: "Alright, I'm up for that since you won."

I mostly did some safe moves like a DDT and diamond cutter and even did a few flips on Sammy, although I tried to be as gentle as I could, and Sammy was laughing, which made me feel good because he knew I wasn't trying to hurt him. I was being as safe as I could. Primarily it was the first time I had done a wrestling move on another NASCAR driver. I also did a few more diamond cutters and a German suplex pin.

We just had fun, the most fun I had in a while. We got out of the basketball trampoline area as a group was waiting to go in, and we gave them the ball. We got our shoes from the boxes, sat at the cafe bar, and ordered Diet Pepsi's for myself and Sammy. We went to the sofa couches and saw an NFL game going on as Sammy did want to get into how he got into racing.

Sammy Smith: "I also need to tell you about how I got into NASCAR. I started driving carts when I was eight years old by my dad. It led me to do super late models racing, and I had my first race in them when I was fourteen years old. I loved car racing since I was a kid. I feel pressure sometimes in NASCAR, knowing I'm the youngest driver on the grid."

Konrad Raab: “Yeah, I sense that. Impressive, you were like a pro driver at fourteen with the Super Late Models then. I hadn't heard of Super Late Models until Brad told me about it last week. Without him, I would never be a NASCAR driver, honestly. It all started with a test in two thousand and nine, and he looked at the lap times I'd done and said, god damn, you'd be a dangerous threat to NASCAR drivers. Even if he scouted me in Germany from doing caravan, banger car driving and go-karts."

Sammy Smith: "Ah, I always wondered, but you have a natural talent for NASCAR. You're so good."

Konrad Raab: "Well, you know why now. I was so busy wanting to be a pro wrestler that I had to put my car racing dreams behind me. Well, until I attended the two thousand and nine Daytona five hundred race and got a test drive in the NASCAR car from Brad Rogers himself a couple of days later. It was only two thousand and twenty-one, so I decided to go for it; last year was more of a trial of how I'd do and passed the test, hence why I'm in Xfinity Series full time and in the championship hunt too."

I loved interacting with this kid as we were still exhausted from jumping on the trampoline, playing basketball, and doing some wrestling moves. It made me feel like I wasn't lonely because I had someone to speak to and hang out with. Sammy understood more about how I got into NASCAR, and it was a question I got asked a lot lately from the media. We took sips of our diet Pepsi drinks.

Sammy Smith: "I also got a dog, Stella."

Konrad Raab: “No way man. I got one too, Frankie. Mostly because my wife Luiza Doe decided I needed one to combat my mental health."

Sammy Smith: "Ah, I think I've seen Frankie a lot with you being around AJ."

Konrad Raab: "He's my best friend in NASCAR outside of Brad Rogers Racing. Going to his baby shower next week. Anyway, we so should walk our dogs together sometime. I also want to invite you to watch me wrestle next week on Breakdown, and we'll go to Charlotte together via my private plane."

Sammy Smith: "That would be great, man. It would be awesome to see you wrestle, especially since I have always wanted to see professional wrestling in person. Never seen the sport on TV."

I smirked, knowing it would be a perfect opportunity for Sammy to learn who I am as a wrestler. Brad and almost everyone in Brad Rogers Racing had seen me wrestle, but I hadn't gotten around to inviting him because Sammy was still new to the team. So I pulled a backstage pass out of my pocket and placed it around Sammy Smith's neck for next week's event.

Konrad Raab: "Well, there's a first time for everything, like tomorrow will be the first time I race in the Super Late Model and next year, doing the Rolex twenty-four hour race at this Daytona road course race."

Sammy Smith: "Yeah, that's so cool you managed to get that deal. It's also cool that Brad allowed you to race me in Super Late Models. The double races you must do will help you learn the track more tomorrow for Sunday's All-Star race."

Konrad Raab: “For sure. I always want to help the racing community and bring somewhat wrestling and racing fans and community together, even if I'm an evil bastard in wrestling. That's why Brad put me in the STAR and CAR race to share the track and car setup with Martin, Ty, Denny and Christopher, giving them advice too."

Sammy Smith: "But we know you're far from evil in NASCAR. I can't imagine anyone wanting to fight you, though. I'd be afraid to hit you."

If only Sammy knew about my encounter with Brad Keselowski last year at Daytona, we did have blows, but I got more of the exchange, obviously, and nobody, since they saw me fight with Brad, has even tried since then to fight me. Brad hasn't bothered me since then; he had to be professional because of running his team.

Konrad Raab: "But to be honest with you, Sammy, I suck at road course racing. It's why I'm in Xfinity Series to improve on that. I'm already dreading the Portland and the Sonoma tracks because of it."

Sammy Smith: "I think it's because you've not done that kind of racing and lack experience. I know Brad has had you test a lot lately on road courses to get you to be better. I may be better than you at road courses, but that fourteenth place wasn't bad. Honestly, you just got bad luck from Justin Allgaier taking you out."

Konrad Raab: "Yeah, maybe. I always get angry and frustrated each time I think about road course racing, knowing I'm like, oh boy."

Sammy Smith: "It just takes more practice, Konrad, and I know you'll figure them out sooner than later like you did with the Bristol Dirt race this year. You shocked many people with that race, so the more you do road course racing, the better you'll get. It's been nice to meet you, and I'll see you at the Supreme Championship Wrestling Breakdown show next week. My team want to talk to me."

I shook the kid's hand as it had been a great pleasure to speak to Sammy Smith, a perfect opportunity for us to get used to each other as he finished his diet Pepsi drink and left to head back to the track. Meanwhile, I didn't want to head back there, although understandable for Sammy because he was still a young kid, but I did want to do the one thing that I couldn't do with Sammy, go to a strip club. Luckily, as I left The Block amusement place, I walked for a while in the street and saw a strip club around the corner from there, so I went in and got some pleasure of seeing women naked.

Baltimore, Maryland. Thursday 25th May. (Offline)

It had been an up-and-down day, to be honest, with the match I had against Willow. Up because I did brutality and down because I felt I wanted to do much more than I did. Having to win that match meant absolutely nothing. However, I wasn't alone today backstage as I did invite the Norwegian wrestler Dakon Theron and the Swedish kid wrestler Ludvig Eriksson to the show, along with Sammy Smith, who I was going to go to Charlotte with later today. Sammy wasn't backstage, though, but Dakon and Ludvig were. We did watch the rest of the show, more in case the Marshall brothers and Ravyn Taylor tried to attack me, which I had backup this time.

I usually am alone backstage and get some weird looks, even from Mr Dickhead himself, who I know would do some really shady shit in the upcoming weeks. I knew I didn't have much time with Dakon and Ludvig since I had to go straight to Charlotte, so I already had a shower and changed into my Brad Rogers Racing shirt, hoodie and jeans. Lads, although they didn't have to do any work in the end, I knew they got some idea of what Ace and Ravyn at least were like.

Dakon Theron: "Ah shit, Ace and Ravyn did the same shit to you two weeks ago, only on this Nicole Kinneck girl this time. They seem to be right bastards, the pair of them."

Ludvig Eriksson: "I can see the problem you're dealing with, Konrad. Scum of the earth, really."

Konrad Raab: "Exactly. I thought we would meet Damian Marshall tonight, but he's suffering the effects of what I did to him last week after his cowardly attempts to avoid me, attacking me from behind."

I nodded as I thought I would've needed them tonight in case things got hairy with Ace and Ravyn, but they never did, primarily because of something I was told before Dakon and Ludvig came to the arena.

Konrad Raab: "I couldn't attack Ace because I was given a written warning that if I were to attack Ace tonight, I would've been suspended."

Dakon Theron: "After everything Ace, Damian and Ravyn did to you, that's bullshit."

Konrad Raab: "The same applied to Ace, as well. But he made a wise decision tonight, cutting off ties to Lexy's Crybabies squad. I call them crybabies because Lexy and her squad especially have something to cry about. But over the past few weeks, if I had the chance to be alone with Lexy, I'd fuck her."

Ludvig Eriksson: "I don't think that would be allowed in wrestling."

I admire the kid, he wanted me to avoid getting into more trouble, but he lacks experience, too. Still, Lexy was always a turn-on, attractive as hell, and I was aggressive towards her because of her association with people I considered my most prominent enemies. Still, she's not anymore, for now, at least.

Konrad Raab: "You'd be surprised how many wrestlers would fuck each other around here, especially that fucking big ass whore, Kandis. God, I want to beat the shit out of her after saying I'm dead weight with Drake and Tommy."

Dakon Theron: “Ah, you told me about her. Yeah, I'm not a fan of plastic surgery women. I saw a glimpse of her tonight. Make me sick how she acts; her ass is natural. We know it's fake as fuck."

Ludvig Eriksson: "If I wanted plastic babes, I'd go to playboy mansion, and even they are more attractive than Kandis is. She makes me want to put a plastic bag over my head."

Konrad Raab: "That's a good one."

Konrad and Dakon laughed at the idea of what Ludvig said, and it was pretty hilarious. Of course, they were wrestlers in the Atlanta Wrestling Alliance company and visiting a big company like Supreme Championship Wrestling was a whole new world for them. I was lucky to give them the access to see what they were in for.

Dakon Theron: "Ludvig and I thought of a team name when we came to Supreme Championship Wrestling."

Konrad Raab: "Oh yeah, what's that?"

Ludvig Eriksson: “The European Fiery Nation.”

I nodded in approval as it worked perfectly, and I pat both Ludvig and Dakon on their backs, thinking of me but, at the same time, attaching their nations to the tag name. The problem was I needed to gain experience leading a team, but then again, I got a brother who knew how to lead a wrestling team.

Konrad Raab: “I love it guys. Represents me with fire and then the continent we come from. We do need more Norwegian and Swedish wrestlers around the business after all, especially needing more wrestlers from non-English speaking countries apart from Japan."

Dakon Theron: "Ludvig and I made a promise earlier that we'll attend every single show and PPV you'll do, and if there's any trouble, you can count on us to tackle it, especially you'll need the backup you'll get with those Marshall Brothers and Ravyn Taylor bitches."

Konrad Raab: "Thank you, but I still want you guys to wrestle in Atlanta Wrestling Association, even do a few tag matches together so we can establish this team sooner than later, even to tackle Kandis with them three once and for all. I don't know if you heard, but at least I'm getting my hands on one of the brothers."

Ludvig Eriksson: "Even though Damian you're facing at the PPV is injured."

Konrad Raab: "It felt so good to beat the shit out of him. It showed how scared Ace is of me if he needs Ravyn all the time and needs to hide from me, but with this straining order we had of each other today, it was bullshit."

I nodded, and so did Dakon and Ludvig, who was looking ready to wrestle, although they did need to do a few tag matches to get the name known before stepping here to rock shit around here. I hated this idea and still do, but I know at the same time, I can't always deal with things myself, although I managed it well last week.

Dakon Theron: "Ace seems to be the biggest coward I've seen. He and Ravyn hid to try to cover what they were doing. Why not do that shit while One was wrestling in the ring in front of her?"

Konrad Raab: "Because you stated it, cowards, and they kept running, knowing I would fuck them up easily on my own and would have fucked Ravyn up on my own two weeks ago if Damian and Ace didn't get involved, stupid pair of cunts they are. Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed the show. I better take off and meet up with Sammy Smith, my Xfinity Series racing teammate, to head straight off to Charlotte, North Carolina, for one of NASCAR's biggest races on the calendar, Coke three hundred. I'm doing the Cup Series race too."

Ludvig Eriksson: "Holy shit, I didn't know you do NASCAR as well. Wow, that's awesome to have met a multi-sports star besides combat sports. Anyway, Dakon and I better let you go then. See you around, Konrad."

I shook hands with Ludvig and Dakon as I grabbed my bag of wrestling and racing gear and headed straight out of the arena, met up with Sammy Smith, got an Uber to the airport, and flew directly to Charlotte, North Carolina. I didn't discuss the Willow match with Ludvig and Dakon, mostly because she wasn't necessary. Besides, I used the match to send Marshall Brothers and Ravyn a message not to fuck with me.
