As noted on Breakdown, an important vote by the Board of Directors took place on Monday. After a lengthy discussion, a vote was taken on SCW CEO Frank Delatosso’s vision. The vote ended with a vote that elected to maintain the existing power structure, meaning that technically, Alex Desoubrais, popularly known as CHBK, remains as the COO of SCW and would have full control over the roster, production, and booking upon his return from injury. One member, speaking under the condition of anonymity, stated “some of the members see the benefits of Frank’s vision. The issue however is whether it’s realistic or whether he is capable of imposing it with a roster that still reflects the roster-building of the previous ownership, and CHBK, a method that offers a bit for everyone.” While it’s unsure how widespread this sentiment was, another board member suggested that this may encourage Delatosso to be further motivated to show his changes and leadership can work.
