What's the best way to celebrate Halloween?
Many would say trick-or-treating, or haunted houses, or scary movies. Maybe even dressing up in costumes.
In the twisted genius of Lucian Lurid, the correct answer was taking that last one and not only encouraging the skimpiest, sluttiest Halloween costumes imaginable, but also making an entire party around it.
Given the growing popularity of Cirque du Sins in the wake of Rise To Greatness, Lucian had grown more comfortable with the idea of increasing the number of parties his sinful circus of smut was willing to put on, drawing in paying crowds for the rare opportunity to have more intimate interactions with his menagerie of horny freaks than would likely be possible through the Lust Ticket unless you were one lucky son of a bitch. The fact that their annual 4th of July Carnalval was already a highlight of every year and the party they'd thrown for New Year's had also been a hit (Antonio flying off the deep end notwithstanding), he'd probably accept being called an idiot if he didn't think hosting a Halloween party was bloody brilliant.
He might've preferred a better location than Indianapolis, of all cities, but he'd take what he could get when he could still piggyback off of following SCW for as long as he could.
It was hard to really have too much distance getting in the way considering the weekend of the holiday would give way to the Apocalypse pay-per-view, and the last thing the Ringleader of Lust wanted to do was screw over his star attraction by denying them something they'd been hungry for.
Though, it was hard for him to really judge exactly what kind of hunger he was talking about when it came to the Glimmer Sisters and their twisted lust for the Light in the Darkness.
Most people were probably just as baffled by how everything was playing out, and the Glimmers preferred it that way.
In all the time they'd essentially been proud circus sluts sharing their goods with anybody who caught a glimpse of them, never before had anybody really seemed to hook the attention of Gia & Gina. Every guy and girl they had fun with, from fellow circus acts to horny fans and lucky Lust Ticket drawing winners, never lingered for too long in their minds. It was always just a fling and then they sauntered and cartwheeled their way to the next one, only remembering names when they were important.
Something about Amelia Nevado & La Pequena Luz was different though... and the twins themselves couldn't even seem to figure out why.
They hated the couple, that much was certain. The very idea that the Light in the Darkness could call themselves a better tandem, that the fans all claimed the same time and time again, stuck in the twins' craws more than even giant dildos designed to try and make them gag and tap out because it was too much. The fact that they had beaten the twins at their own game back at Taking Hold of the Flame bothered them far more than they ever admitted, even if the cracks had shown a few times when it was brought up on TV. Losing the tag titles to them when they were barely holding together, failing to strip the world title off of Amelia... maybe they would have truly been as content as they claimed with that outcome given everything they'd gotten to do on that night in spite of the loss, but the fact that they seemed to struggle ever since that defeat made the loss properly sting.
Perhaps the reality they struggled to fully comprehend was that the thing they hated most about the couple was the same thing that drew them in in the first place: despite being all sweet and innocent and goody-goody professionals, Amelia & Luz were probably the only women on the entire roster who naturally possessed the kind of top tier porn star quality bodies that could actually give the sinful sisters a run for their money, and the fact that they weren't proudly showing off their goods like they believed real women should proudly do both pissed them off and made them want so badly to break the couple and get them to loosen up by any means necessary.
Other women didn't quite measure up in their opinion: Syren was obviously as fake as a Barbie doll, Bree Lancaster had modeling experience but wasn't as stacked and even more of a stuck-up prude. That intriguing new hire Seraphina Blaze looked like she could certainly give the Glimmers a run for their money, but they were certain Amelia & Luz had even her beat... if only they could get everyone to line up to truly prove it.
The love those two women had was irrelevant as far as Gia & Gina were concerned, perhaps due to their own lack of a genuine love life and the only 'love' they'd ever truly known beyond their sexcapades being the fact that the entire Cirque du Sins troupe genuinely cared for them like one big freaky, messy family. All the Glimmers knew was that they wanted to infect the Light in the Darkness like some sort of kinky virus and drag them all the way down to their level to really have some fun.
They thought Taking Hold of the Flame would be that moment. They'd called their shot, they dressed in the sexiest attire they had short of trying to see if they could actually wrestle naked in an attempt to play on both women's clear love for vaginas over dicks. They'd groped and kissed and attempted to strip and expose them, and the rest of their careers would forever be tainted by the memory that they'd been forced to wrestle in lingerie the twins had specifically picked out for them, knowing the couple couldn't be trusted to really meet the high standard they were trying to set for real women everywhere.
None of it worked.
Worse yet, they couldn't even prey upon the relationship issues and pit the two against one another anymore considering Amelia seemed to have shelved the bitchy attitude.
Gina: Probably for the best. She was sounding less fun and more like Selena.
Gia: Still hot as fuck though.
If Gia & Gina were disappointed about anything above all else, it was that they were running back the match from Taking Hold of the Flame but without anything that made that match the truly rightful winner of match of the year, as much as they still respected James Evans and loved seeing him try to literally break old man Cid in a cage full of mirrors. They couldn't force Amelia & Luz to strip down and wrestle in as little as possible to understand their wicked vision, there were no titles on the line because Amelia had fucked it all up, and not even the idea of returning the favor and proving they could beat the Light in the Darkness 'the right way' tickled their fancy the way the Lingerie Showdown had.
Nor could the fact that the winning team got the right to use their tag title rematch first, because as much as the Glimmers could salivate over kicking the Frosts' cunts from pillar to post, they shouldn't even be needing to chase the snow bitch and her delusional prisoner of a wife in the first place.
Whatever twisted, freaky obsession had possessed the Glimmer Sisters when it came to the Light in the Darkness, it was currently drawing attention that Lucian couldn't make heads or tails of.
While the ringmaster of Cirque du Sins was drawing questionable glances for his attempt at a slutty vampire costume, which was at least better than a sparkly Twilight vampire and the only issue was the fact that he was a borderline obese blob of gelatin on the best of days, it was saying something when the attention his star attraction was getting was less drooling and more confusion, even if there was still plenty of drooling and potentially other substances that weren't his problem to clean up.
Lucian: Thank bloody fuck for good ol' natural grass.
As Lucian scanned the crowd of partygoers who'd invaded the grounds where Cirque du Sins had set up shop with additional Halloween flair, mostly trying to spot either any potential buzzkills wanting to shut the fun down or certain unwanted guests Lucian didn't want to deal with until tomorrow when it was the proper first of the month, the Glimmers caught his eye more often than not. A man with a twisted and kinky imagination the likes of Lucian Lurid could've guessed any number of sexy, slutty, sinful costumes the twins could've stuffed themselves into.
He hadn't expected to see them both dressed in skimpy purple lace bras and full-length tights that were so skintight you could see every delicious inch of their asses and the juicy lips residing below the belt, along with copies of a certain lucha libre mask that were probably stolen from the SCW merch stall just like the LITD shirts they'd vandalized into slutty shredded crop tops.
Lucian: You know something mates? You two somehow bloody fucking surprised me tonight.
Gia: Aw, you hear that Gina? Lucy likes our Luz costumes.
Gina: Sluttier than the real thing, but we were trying to capture what that spicy latina could be if she just embraced the inner whore that everybody has.
Lucian: “Like” is a very strong word mates. It's hot as hell, I can't deny that, but that's probably more you two bloody cunts than the costumes. It's definitely got people bloody talking though.
Gia: As it should! We're spreading the word of what Ample Amelia and Luscious Luz could truly be, and hopefully that message gets passed along to them loud and clear at Apocalypse when we prove who's truly the greatest fucking tag team in SCW period.
Angel: Never thought I'd see the day you twin cunts would actually sound unhinged. It sounds kinky.
Gia, Gina and Lucian all turned to see Angel strut his way through the crowd, having decided to try and dress up like some kinky cross between a spider and one of his usual drag queen getups. It was certainly working if the gazes the twins threw his way were any indication.
Gina: You're one to talk bitch. Should I bring up the little stunt you pulled at our last show? You sounded ready to be rawdogged right in the middle of the center ring.
Angel: Maybe I was, and it's sad Lucy here didn't bite on the tempting offer I gave him to sell to the crowd. Have to say though... the way you two have been fucking with those two lovebirds? Mwah! My compliments to whichever one of you spicy sluts have been coming up with this stuff.
Gia: Oh come on, asshole. Everybody knows Gina & I are a packaged deal. Every scheme is one we cook up together, because if we're on the same wavelength then we know it's going to work.
Angel: You mean like your last couple of schemes in SCW?
For just a moment, Gia lost her cool and went to take a swing at Angel, only for Gina to grab her arm and stop her. In that brief moment, Angel's eyes went wide as he maybe realized he'd pushed the joking a little too far and he ended up crouching down and trying to curl up into a ball as best as the fake extra spider legs of his costume would allow him to.
Angel: I'm sorry... I'm sorry... I'm so fucking sorry...
Gia: Oh fuck... no, I'm sorry Angel. Yeah, maybe it was a step too far, but I maybe overreacted a bit.
Lucian: A bit? Bloody fucking hell, cunt, I've heard you and your twin take worse insults and laugh them off. I get that you're both spiteful bitches when you wanna be, yeah? But neither one of you has ever had that bloody short of a fuse unless the giant bags of dicks responsible for why poor Angel is like this are the topic, and even then you're usually smarter about dealing with them.
Lucian wasn't wrong, and Gia cussed herself out under her breath over that one. For some reason, the fact that the Glimmer gravy train had seemingly stalled in SCW had caused her to start snapping more than usual. She didn't even know why... yeah, a couple months' worth of big losses and major setbacks absolutely sucked, but not even her solo setback during Fatal Fortunes or somehow losing to the patchwork joke that was Selena & Xander teaming together even got her this short-tempered. Normally, she was as cool about it as Gina was, knowing they could bounce back effortlessly and rewrite the perceptions of everyone around them by reminding the world that no one could outscheme the Glimmer Sisters.
Hell, she couldn't even fully blame this developing obsession over Amelia & Luz because Gina was just as obsessed and she wasn't flying off the handle at the slightest setback. Besides, if anybody deserved to be more pissed about how their machinations were falling apart, it was Gina considering it was her fucking trios contract that set up the Lingerie Showdown in the first place.
While Gia seemed to be trying to sort herself out, Gina watched as Lucian knelt down beside Angel and tried to reassure him that everything was alright. It was weird as hell from Lucian Lurid of all people, but the drag queen had been through so much and didn't deserve to have traumatic flashbacks to whatever he'd endured at the hands of those sick fucks Antonio and Vincent all because Gia was about two seconds away from decking him.
Gina: Let us know if he comes around to wanting an apology. I'll make sure Gia gives him one.
Lucian nodded but otherwise kept his focus on Angel, allowing Gina to grab her sister's wrist and drag her twin through the throng of costumed party people. Gia didn't resist or protest, almost staring blankly at where Lucian was trying to help get Angel back into a proper party mood. She only snapped out of it when she realized Gina was pinning her to the side of their trailer in a way that would've been hot as fuck if they weren't sisters and she hadn't clearly just fucked up.
Gia: What the flying fuck was that?
Gina: I was hoping you would tell me.
Gia: You think I fucking know why I snapped at him like that?
Gina: Considering you're snapping at me now, something's bothering you sis. You definitely owe Angel an apology, especially after he genuinely apologized to us for the role he got forced to play by those two chucklefucks nobody likes.
Gia: I know, I know, I fucked up. Fuck Gina, what's wrong with me?
Gina: Again, I was hoping you could tell me. Even when we're at our bitchiest, you've never been this much of a cunt over little things.
Gia felt the urge to reply, to snap at her twin again, but this time she resisted. Gina was right, had been right the last time she called out Gia for crashing out even if it was valid. The twins were schemers, they always had backup plans to turn things back in their favor once deployed. It was supposed to be impossible to get under their skin because they were just so god damned shameless and they were the ones who were supposed to live rent free in everyone else's heads. The fact that she'd had such a short fuse, while maybe hot to some people, was unnatural for either Glimmer, and exactly why was an answer that seemed to be escaping her.
Gia: I don't know Gina. I know that's a shitty fucking answer, but I honestly don't know why I've been so thin-skinned lately.
Gina: Well we need to figure it out, because the moment we step in front of a camera and we're not shoving our greatness down people's throats like we know they want our tits and cunts in their mouths, people will actually start believing that we're rattled. I don't know about you, but I really don't care to hear what either of those braindead commentators or any stupid bitch in that locker room thinks when they believe they actually have some leverage on us or some shit, or worse:we stop being sultry-yet-smart about how we bend the rules and actually fuck up in a way that could cost us this gig.
Gia: You think Franky D. has the balls to fire us? I know he hates us, but he's too much of a-
Gina: Pussy, I know. But I'm talking about CHBK or someone higher up that actually stops caring about the ratings and sales we bring in by being proud slutty clowns capable of things no one else in the wrestling business is. We give them a reason to drop our act, and we're well and truly fucked.
Gia audibly spat out her breath and groaned at the thought of this mess. Tonight was supposed to be their hot-yet-weird little tribute to what their opponents tomorrow night could be on top of a night where sin and debauchery was celebrated in the true spirit of Halloween, and here she was being the very buzzkill Lucian had been scanning the crowd for all night to give a big ol' boot to.
???: Personally, I think that kind of feisty temper makes you perfect just the way you are.
The unwelcome addition to the twins' conversation sent chills down their spines, and whatever gravity had existed in this moment was now dead and gone as they both turned to see Vincent standing a short ways away, sipping from a cup of alcohol while wearing a more plain suit than he usually did.
Gina: What the hell are you supposed to be?
Vincent: News anchor, weatherman, corporate mastermind, business savant, the president of the god damn country... take your pick.
Gia: My vote goes to lazy as fuck because every time we see that stupid grin of yours, you're always wearing a tacky suit.
Vincent: Tacky!? All my suits are custom tailored and worth more than you sluts have ever made working for SCW, thank you very much.
Gina: Why are you here, fuckface?
Vincent: Oh, namecalling now, huh? Maybe you've both got a bit of that temper... daddy likes.
When Gina let go of her sister, she didn't even try to stop Gia from attempting to kick Vincent's head off, the only disappointment being that the predatory porn director actually ducked it and backed away.
Vincent: Whoa, OK maybe getting a little too heated now. Bad girls!
Gia: We're not dogs, asshole!
Gina: Or yours in any capacity, so kindly fuck off and let us get back to partying in peace.
Vincent: Relax, you two. I just wanted to stop by because I heard Lucian was throwing a little shindig. Seemed like the perfect opportunity to... scout some new talent, if you know what I mean.
Gia: The circus is off limits and you and your stupid fucking fuck buddy know that.
Vincent: Oh believe me, we do... Antonio's been quite pissed at Lucian's little success story, especially the part where he doesn't need to rely on you two all the time to bail him out.
Gina: Are we supposed to cry for him? Because I think my sister will agree that we'd rather see him crying after we kick him in the dick so hard he literally coughs up his testicles.
Gia: Maybe we can emasculate you and send you back to him as a warning.
The threat didn't land the way the twins had intended it to, because instead of being annoyed or preferably being afraid, Vincent simply started laughing like a deranged lunatic before he cleared his throat.
Vincent: You both are growing sets of your own. Cute. But I'd tread lightly if I were the two of you. I know you both don't have a lot to lose, but I know it would fucking hurt if you suddenly did. Anyways, enjoy the rest of your holiday party ladies. And please do us all a favor and actually kick some ass tomorrow night.
Vincent's grin was unsettling as he turned and left like this conversation hadn't just happened, and as tempted as the Glimmers were to prove they weren't scared of his bullshit, not even Gia's newfound temper was enough to bait them into a potential trap with such a crafty son of a bitch. All they could do was take a deep breath and let the party carry on late into the night to perk them back up.
Tomorrow night, they'd make good on their promise of delivering a true Asspocalypse that sent their sinful message loud and clear to Amelia & Luz, not because Antonio was probably gambling on them again, but because this was their show and they were seizing the spotlight for themselves.

Sometimes, there's an issue that you can just feel crawling beneath your skin, threatening to tear you apart from the inside-out. There's no quick solution, no magical cure, and no guarantee that even time will completely eliminate that feeling.
Amelia thought she already knew what that felt like, having spent years hearing the echoes of her parents' voices in her head, berating her for being a “failure” just because she didn't turn out to be the Blythe they had planned for her to be. She thought she'd faced the worst of it when those echoes evolved into an inner critic that used her voice, her face, and tried to claim that she was the “true” Amelia all along, dragging her down a path she now looks back upon with shame and regret.
Luz thought she knew what that felt like whenever she recalled every instance of bullying she'd endured growing up, claiming that she was just too much or that her parents deserved a better child, especially her father in regards to his lucha libre legacy. Over the course of the past year, she was certain she'd faced the worst of that feeling every time she had a nightmare about Stephen Crane, the leader of The Empire's splinter cell who'd attempted to kill her and her family, and who had fallen dead at her feet with no amount of reassurance enough to convince her that she had nothing to do with his demise.
As it turns out, fearing you were responsible for someone else's death was torture... knowing you were responsible, even if there was no other way, was hell itself.
Amelia and Luz had every reason to feel frustrated right now. They weren't being booked too often in SCW despite wanting to get back out there, especially Amelia in her efforts to redeem herself, and they could only hazard a guess that Frank Delatosso was to blame in some petty attempt to convince Amelia she'd made a mistake walking away from his influence. When they finally did get an opportunity, the Glimmer Sisters had to go and ruin it in their desperation to prove that they were the superior team despite all evidence to the contrary.
And yet, those rightful frustrations paled in comparison to the blood they constantly saw staining their hands, the reminder crawling through their brains that they were murderers, never mind the exact details that made it clear it was not only in self-defense, but the only thing that would ever truly stop the deranged wannabe god that Caleb White considered himself to be.
It was getting so bad that Amelia was even openly wondering now if the reason Other Amelia had been so silent in her head lately had less to do with her clear statement at Rise to Greatness and more to do with the inner critic being drowned out by her own guilt.
“How do Avery, Darius and Evie live with themselves whenever they have to resort to taking a life to end a hostile situation?” Amelia found herself openly pondering.
“To be fair, they gave me a very clear warning about this when I told them my intentions,” Luz admitted. “Unfortunately, I had to ignore it because it had to be us... we were the only ones who could truly put an end to this.”
Amelia nodded, knowing her wife was right, but that didn't ease any of the guilt eating them alive.
They could only hope being able to wrestle again would help be a good distraction from the feeling, because they certainly needed one right now, despite that coming with its own problems.
As much as Luz wanted to just chalk it up to the fact that the last Breakdown was in Boston and that was the hometown of one of their opponents, Amelia knew that was only part of the reason the fans reacted the way they did. She wasn't expecting them to come around to her trying to redeem herself overnight... she had been quite the bitch in the time she'd lost her way and she accepted that it was going to be a long and difficult road to regaining the fans' trust and admiration, but it still hurt to see how much it was bothering Luz that not everyone seemed to have the same flexibility of forgiveness and understanding that she did.
The Glimmers certainly weren't helping matters, and the fact that they hadn't dropped their antics even after a painfully clear defeat back at Taking Hold of the Flame under circumstances that were completely in their favor on all accounts only infuriated the couple. Apparently, the twin acrobats were just incapable of humility and desperately hiding behind any excuse to paint their losses as anything but a reason to do some self-reflection and actually grow as both competitors and people, and the attack that had gotten their match with The Vision thrown out entirely followed by the intimate “warning” afterwards made the two sick to their stomachs.
If they thought they could simply walk into Indianapolis and prove at Apocalypse that they could outwrestle two women who defined themselves by how much this business and their contributions to it meant, then they clearly hadn't learned a thing from Taking Hold of the Flame.
While Indianapolis would see the couple address that problem and hopefully knock the Glimmers out of their orbit for a good while, that was a matter for Apocalypse. Until then, there were other distractions that were far healthier to quiet the war drums of guilt that had been pounding in their heads for months.
Like Halloween the day before. Like Día de Muertos the day after. And like their two year anniversary of officially being married, despite the rockiness of this year so far.
With all of that in mind, and knowing that making it down to Tulancingo in that short a time span was likely impossible, Luz and Amelia were doing the best they could to still celebrate the holidays. They had dressed up as witches, with wide-brimmed pointy hats and dresses and all, knowing their friends were all dressing up as well before gathering together to watch classic horror movies and just enjoy a relaxing night in before they got down to business tomorrow night. In the meantime, they kept themselves busy working on a little ofrenda to Luz's dad, hoping his spirit would appreciate the gesture and be able to come and watch over them as they endured more of whatever shameless antics the Glimmers were no doubt plotting for tomorrow night.
“I hope he appreciates it,” Luz couldn't help but say as she carefully wove some marigolds Ivy had given her into a little wreath that surrounded her father's portrait. “I hate not being able to be back home for such an important holiday, but SCW keeps finding ways to schedule shows right around the time it happens.”
“I know he'll love it, Lulu,” Amelia reassured her wife as she arranged candles at the base of the ofrenda. “And I know he'll watch over us tomorrow night. It's... good to be able to fully put our minds back on the things we want to focus on.”
“Yeah...” Luz said, though her tone clearly wasn't fully in agreement as she took a good, long look at the masked face smiling back at her from the picture frame. “Ames? Do you think mi papá will understand why we had no choice? Why we had to... to...”
Amelia reached over and gently shushed her wife, though the look in her eyes made it clear the thought haunted her as much as it did Luz. “I'm sure he understands more than we may ever know, mi amor. I just... hate that we can't just kick the thought out of our heads for very long.”
Luz nodded, trying to let Amelia's reassurance sink in, but it didn't land with the impact either woman was probably hoping for. They had tried to see if they could get even a phone session with Dr. Bolton to get a solid start on their mental health recovery after everything, but everyone seemed to have underestimated just how quickly her schedule was going to fill up courtesy of now-former members of The Empire who needed therapy to cope with how easily they were led astray and how far they had gone believing in something far greater than had been sold to them by a very convincing fraud who was only interested in his own ambitions and saw them all as expendable fodder to his own “ascension.”
It left them in a very awkward and unwelcome silence as they put the finishing touches on the small ofrenda, questioning everything they wanted to say. Even the tender love and affirmations were starting to feel hollow and useless, not because the love had actually died between the two women, but because it was all drowned out by the thunderous drumming of what felt like the heartbeat of Caleb slowing to a stop that gave their thoughts no peace.
The guilt, the trauma, all-encompassing and threatening to cast them into a void they knew would swallow them whole if they stopped fighting, but saying they wouldn't give up was far easier said than done in this case.
Still, they stood up and held each other close as they looked down at the little alter paying homage to El Espíritu Angélico, feeling for a brief moment like there was finally peace within the storm that was raging in their heads. It wasn't much, but they had genuinely put their hearts and souls into this project beyond just needing a distraction, and they truly hoped his spirit appreciated that.
“Who's ready to Scream!?”
The peace of the moment was interrupted as Gage opened the door to Amelia and Luz's hotel room, dressed up exactly like Ghostface himself as he seemed excited, considering the group had opted to spend the night watching through the entire Scream franchise. The moment he saw Amelia and Luz staring down at the ofrenda before glancing in his direction, though, he stopped and slowly pulled off his mask.
“Sorry, I didn't mean to ruin the moment,” he apologized, sounding genuinely guilty. “We're all set up in mine and Henry's room, but if you ladies need a few more minutes...”
“No, no, we're good,” Luz quickly insisted as she retrieved Amelia's witch hat and placed it upon her beloved's head before Amelia returned the favor.
“You sure?” Gage asked.
“It would do us some good to try and get back into doing something normal,” Amelia admitted. “Or as normal as life can get when you're a wrestler constantly on the road.”
Gage didn't argue that as he put his mask back on and the couple followed him down the hall to the room where everyone was gathering, but that didn't mean he wasn't concerned. He'd been a good friend to Amelia and Luz for many years now and he rightfully had his concerns, but while he was a veritable encyclopedia of wrestling knowledge that made him a great commentator for the sport, matters of trauma were clearly not his forte as he was just as lacking in answers for how to help as anybody else.
The concern for the couple was very much there, though, and that became apparent the moment they entered the hotel room Gage and Henry were sharing and all eyes turned to them. Henry, Ivy, and even Edward and Emily all stopped whatever conversation they were having and turned to look at Amelia and Luz as they entered the room, perhaps looking a little more self-conscious as a result despite everyone being dressed up for Halloween.
“You sure you guys want to watch the Scream series with us?” Ivy carefully asked.
“We won't blame you if you change your mind,” Edward added, holding up his hands in innocence. “I won't even joke about you two being scared or anything, and I'll make a sibling promise to Amelia if I have to.”
“We're sure,” Amelia firmly said, though she did acknowledge her brother's words. Considering Edward was the more likely of the twins to fall back on pranks and jokes, the fact that he was being completely serious about shelving the urge for their sake was still appreciated.
“Are you, though?” Emily gently pressed. “We'd hate to make you two feel like you have to just to appease us.”
“It's fine,” Luz insisted, maybe a bit more harshly than she intended, but no one gave her any flak for it. That made Amelia feel like something stirred in her thoughts, but it vanished just as quickly. “We appreciate the concern guys, we really do. We're just... tired of everyone feeling like we're made of glass and feeling you need to be careful around us.”
“It's because they love you,” Henry pointed out as he carefully stood up, his Star Trek inspired costume almost feeling oddly fitting given the recent passing of Sir Patrick Stewart. “Trust me when I saw that whatever you two are feeling? It's alright, and things will get better with time. And if I've learned anything from being around you guys after you got me away from my uncle, it's that time definitely helps when you have people worried for you and wanting to help you along the way.”
It was advice that Amelia and Luz knew all too well, admittedly. It was advice they had followed after befriending each other, becoming the other's rock when it came to the abuse Amelia grew up enduring or Luz losing her father and the strained relationship she had with her mother in the immediate aftermath, not to mention any time Caleb had sought to escalate his sick plans over the years. But to hear it from Henry, Caleb's nephew, a man who had suffered immeasurably in the time the religious hypocrite had raised him... for just a moment, it helped immensely, remembering that when it came to trauma at the hands of Caleb White, they weren't alone.
With that moment of relief settling in, Amelia and Luz reaffirmed that they wanted to do this, believing that a scary movie night to celebrate Halloween with their closest friends and found family was a healthy distraction to put their minds at ease and help them to heal.
That belief lasted roughly twelve minutes.
As the first Scream movie played through its iconic opening scene that flipped what everyone knew about the horror genre on its head, Amelia and Luz had started off invested in what they were watching, both of them sharing a love of horror and the macabre that helped make Halloween such a beloved time for them.
But then they got to the second kill of the movie, watching as Ghostface choked and stabbed Drew Barrymore's character to death. That's what they saw at first: the costumed slasher villain increasing his kill count to build up the threat he posed. But with every stab, the visual changed in their eyes. Ghostface found himself replaced by Amelia or Luz, depending on whose perspective it came from. The character of Casey Becker was replaced by Caleb, pleading for his life as if he was actually an innocent soul and not the vile, twisted monster they knew he truly was. Back and forth the visions flickered, and the sight of the sheer sadistic glee growing on Amelia and Luz's faces as they stabbed and stabbed and stabbed became too much for them to handle.
Before anybody realized the traumatic spiral that was taking hold of them, Amelia and Luz abruptly stood up and bolted for the door, the worried calls of their friends lost to the static that played in their ears... a static that was only broken by the occasional thump... thump... thump... that belonged to a dying heartbeat.
They barely registered that they had tumbled back into their hotel room in their haste to get away from the sickening image, didn't realize they'd slammed the door and probably alerted the oldest members of their found family that something was wrong. The calls from the other side of the door that followed not too long after went unheard.
All Amelia could register was Luz, held tightly in her arms as if it would somehow help to ground her.
All Luz could register was the same, and that she was on her knees in front of the small ofrenda they had finished barely a half-hour prior.
“Papá... papá, lo siento,” Luz managed to say, her voice trembling as she felt tears spilling over the eyeholes of her mask. She was certain the wetness on her neck was from Amelia's tears, and she couldn't blame her as they both fell apart. “Lamento haber deshonrado tu imagen y manchado mi alma.”
“I'm sorry, too,” Amelia choked out. “I'm sorry I had to do what I did to protect your daughter. I'm sorry I wasn't strong enough, I'm sorry I lost my way and became a monster...”
“No, mis niñas preciosas... I'm sorry that my problem had to become your burden.”
A chill briefly ran through the room at the sound of another voice with them, but it was quickly replaced by an understanding warmth, wrapping around them like a weighted blanket neither woman knew they needed right now. They didn't stop crying, but they did pull themselves together just enough to look up... meeting the gentle smile of El Espíritu Angélico.
It wasn't the framed picture at the heart of the ofrenda, though they could see that through his translucent body. It was the spirit of the luchador who flew with such grace that his peers called him an angel.
One might believe that the weight of what had been haunting them was causing them both to see things, but Luz would argue otherwise and even Amelia had become a believer over the years. To those who live in Mexico, the belief that the spirits of the dead will walk the mortal plane again if you invite them to was strong, and that formed the heart and soul of Día de Muertos. The holiday may have been two days away still, but El Espíritu Angélico knew his presence couldn't wait, not when his daughter and her wife needed someone like him right now.
“Lo siento,” he apologized again. “You two should've never had to endure what Caleb was capable of. That was my burden to bear... not yours.”
“It's...” Luz started to say before she got so choked up at her father actually being here before her now. “It's not your fault papá. Caleb was...”
“I know, my little light,” Angélico reassured his daughter. “That still doesn't mean either of you deserved to deal with any of this. I can promise you that man lost his place in Heaven a long time ago, and no delusions otherwise will change that. But the two of you still have bright futures and full lives ahead of you. It won't be easy... trauma never is, but I swear to you both that I'll be guiding you from the other side every step of the way as best as I can, and you have so many who love you that can help in ways I cannot.”
“Even... even me?” Amelia questioned, and Angélico felt the heart he no longer had breaking as he looked at her. “Even after I lost my way?”
“Especially you, Amelia,” the spirit firmly reassured her with that caring, fatherly tone that Amelia never got to hear growing up. “It's easy to lose sight of what's important when nothing goes your way and someone is in your ear, promising everything you deserve and more. To accept your faults and rise above it, to admit that you were wrong and learn your lesson... that is true strength. Strength that Caleb never cared for, strength that people like those twins do not understand.”
Amelia trembled more at those words, feeling all the dark clouds that had been suffocating her brain and only grown worse parting at long last. Luz tried to say “papá” but found herself getting too choked up to speak, but the spirit only held them closer.
“I can promise you both right now, straight from God himself, that your souls are still pure,” he continued. “You may feel like you've stained them with Caleb's blood, but God knows the difference between malice and necessity. You did what you had to do in order to stop a dangerous man... you've saved so many in the process, yourselves included. Never forget that even in the deepest darkness, there is always a light to guide you to the truth. Continue to be that light for the wrestling world, and I will continue to be the light that helps you through this. I've seen what awaits you two at the end of this tunnel, and I can promise you both that the effort will be well rewarded by the time you join me here on the other side.”
By the time their loved ones managed to unlock the door and peek inside, they found Amelia and Luz holding one another tightly, breathing through the traumatic thoughts. They didn't see the spirit of the legendary luchador who brought Luz into this world, but the couple knew he'd been there for them, helping to save them from the spiral and remind them of who they truly were... no matter what they endured.

Perhaps it comes as no surprise to see whatever lot Cirque du Sins has set up shop in here in Indianapolis with a bit of Halloween flair. The circus grounds certainly have a spookier feel to them and not just because it's nighttime. The big top has replaced its usual red and black striped tent with an orange and black one, jack-o-lanterns are lit up with candles all around the grounds (though the fact that the carvings are silhouettes of men and women in various sexy poses makes it less scary and more an attempt at erotic), you have various classic Halloween decorations given a sexy twist... it's an odd sight for sure, but definitely fits the freaky, kinky vibe the adult circus has always been known for. It's not long before our looking around these spooky, sexy circus grounds catches sight of a pair of silhouettes illuminated behind a flowing red sheet, a tempting fog seductively creeping from underneath it as the female silhouettes look to either be getting dressed, or perhaps undressed. It's honestly hard to tell.
Gina(?): You think they're ready sis?
Gia(?): I don't know sis... we might be too much for their hearts to handle.
The familiar voices give away who these silhouettes belong to, but before we fully get to ponder what the Glimmer Sisters are up to this time, the sheet parts. Gia & Gina saunter out, devil horns on their heads and skin painted from head to toe a demonic red. A devil tail sways behind each of them, attached to a belt around their waists as long fingerless gloves and thigh-high boots, both black and latex, cover their arms and legs. So caught up in the tempting sight that you probably didn't even notice the pixellation until now, confirming that the bodypaint does not hide the fact that the Glimmers are completely naked. Judging by the sultry grins they're wearing, they're fully aware of the effect they're having on you.
Gina(?): Sorry to any of SCW's fans who were hoping to get a real Halloween treat this year. Even succubi like us are not immune to broadcast standards, as we're willing to bet some sort of censorship is covering all the goodies.
Gia(?): Maybe, if you come and pay us a visit here at Cirque du Sins while we're still in town, you'll be able to get quite... acquainted, with what SCW is so afraid of letting you see.
Gia (we're assuming) runs a finger along her lips before it slowly trails down her body and inevitably vanishes into the pixellation, leaving your imagination to decide what that finger might be doing with her ample breasts.
Gina(?): We hope you're all having a very happy Halloween. I'd say stay safe, but when you've got twin succubi on the prowl looking for some fun, “safe” isn't exactly our forte.
Gia(?): Cue the bitching from religious groups and concerned parents who seem to have forgotten that a cross is for crucifying, not shoving up your ass to make you more uptight than Franky D. Or apparently CHBK even because he seems to have forgotten who his only real tag team is around here. Spoiler: it's the fucking Glimmer Sisters, as if that answer took more than two seconds for you all to figure out.
Gina: Well Gia, the sad reality is that it actually might have. After all, everyone's so hung up on Deanna and her little triple crown that they actually think the Frosts deserve to be tag team champions, never mind the fact that the only thing Selena deserves is a bath in a pool of acid so no one has to put up with her little snow cunt attitude ever again, especially her poor, long-suffering, clearly abused former lover.
Gia: You've got a point sis. I mean, the poor redhead must have Stockholm syndrome given that she's still using Selena's last name and crawled right back to her when the burden of all her gold became too much for her to handle. There's a simple solution to your problem Deanna that doesn't require you to chain yourself back up to Selena like the literal bitch that you are: give us back the tag titles that rightfully belong to us. While you're at it, we'll take the world and adrenaline titles too. Unlike you, or anyone else in SCW for that matter, Gina & I were made to bathe in gold.
Gina: Unfortunately, there's another answer that those idiots out there will probably give even over the Frosts. It's a team we know aaaaaaall too well, and a team who thought we were done playing with them just because they got lucky and survived the greatest thing SCW has ever aired.
Gia: On that note guys and girls, we thank you for wising up and voting us tag team of the year, but fuck all of you for snubbing our little Lingerie Showdown as the rightful match of the year. No disrespect to Gina's old trios pal James Evans, but our little psychological game actually succeeding in accomplishing what it was supposed to do, regardless of the result.
Gina (assuming the twins are telling the truth on who's who) lets out an exaggerated sigh as she dramatically falls forward right into her sister's arms. Gia comforts her twin by rubbing her back, though it doesn't take long for that hand to trail lower and once again be swallowed by pixellation that isn't able to fully succeed in preventing us from seeing the enticing jiggle of Gina's huge, juicy ass with every pat Gia gives. We get a solid moment of this enticing display before Gina pushes herself out of her sister's arms, though she doesn't turn around and instead just looks at us over her shoulder, leaving her ass as a focal point.
Gina: Amelia, Luz... you like what you see? Don't deny it, we both know the desire for women is strong in you both. I mean, you wouldn't have married each other if that wasn't the case, and try as you might to resist our charms, we know you're both struggling to keep yourselves together after all that bullshit over “true love saves the day” or however you want to believe everything is all sunshine and rainbows again.
Gia: Don't worry... as a special treat, we'll make sure you two get the raw version of this, the cut SCW won't touch. Do with it as you please because we're happy to help you both come out of your shells. That was the whole point of the Lingerie Showdown after all, and why we were so disappointed when we couldn't resist having a little sneak peek while you two were out and seeing such... ugh, cute, boring, “practical” choices for lingerie. If that's what the two of you actually wear and and even if you even fuck each other, then you're welcome for the help.
Gina: Honestly, you two are just wasting everything at this point and it's quite sad. We meant what we said about you two being the only ones who could naturally measure up to us, and to ignore what the great goddess above gave you in favor of sportsmanship and chastity and lowering yourselves to the shallows of trying to be just like everyone else when you two could be fucking goddesses worshiped by all. Don't lie, the thought's crossed your minds ever since Taking Hold of the Flame... the Glimmer Sisters and the Light in the Darkness together as one unit so hot that we'd literally melt the competition any time we step out to that ring.
Gia: You even had a good thing going Amelia... annoying as fuck, but hot as hell. We could've guided you into being the proper kind of bitch, not the Selena kind that everybody wants to strangle until her ugly fucking head pops off, especially Deanna even if she's too pathetic to admit it. Luz could've come along too as your little pet, a brilliant spotlight just waiting to learn how to really heat up a crowd. Franky probably would've been furious, but who gives a fuck about him or his sad little wannabe circus when everybody knows the Glimmer Sisters truly run the show.
Gina: And yet... that presents a little problem that does kill the mood a bit, unfortunately.
Gina spins around on her heel as Gia steps past her and practically shoves the cameraman to the ground. Our view is of nothing but the night sky for a moment, but we don't get a chance to get back up as Gia & Gina soon loom over us, the censorship working overtime at the steamy and dominant sight, and that only makes the twins grin even more.
Gia: While we love fucking with the two of you and would kill to have that in the literal sense sometime, there's one thing about you that's reeeeeally been bugging us.
Gina: The whole “best tag team” shtick? Yeah, no, one lucky win over us doesn't erase the fact that we fucking dominated every single tag team for the past year and can even shove a trophy in your faces that proves it. Yeah, maybe we had a little too much fun last time... can you really blame us?
Gia: The sad reality that all you chucklefucks can't seem to wrap your heads around is that there is, and always will be, only one true “best tag team” in SCW, and it's the sexiest sisters and sinners you've ever seen. Not Ample Amelia & Luscious Luz, not the Frosts, not Dark Fantasy, not any team in SCW right now that we've already kicked the asses of over and over again, not any team from ancient history that everyone's only bringing back up because LITD only needs one more reign to overtake them for some record or some shit. From the day we were born, Gina and I knew we were destined to conquer the world, and no one's going to stop us from doing just that, especially not two bitches who choose to be boring over being our true equals.
Gina: So we got a little caught up in the entertainment we offered that showed the world what Amelia & Luz could truly be if they just cut the modesty crap. Last I checked, I've still beaten you twice Amelia, and I know it bothered you because it wasn't too long after Fatal Fortunes and our little KABLAMia-sponsored fun that you went crawling to the CEO to make you feel relevant. Cid Turner, Syren, Glory Braddock, none of them actually pushed you over the edge because they're afraid of the truth that stared back at them. Me? I grabbed you by that giant, juicy ass of yours and pulled you into the abyss with me, and while you didn't crawl out and realize Gia & I were right all along, you didn't come out unscathed.
Gia: And poor “little” Luz could only cry and beg and plead for her wife to come back to her instead of actually doing anything about it, just like Deanna was too afraid to actually fight back when Selena stole her opportunity like the petty, narcissistic cunt that she is. The fact that Luz was so pathetic that she somehow actually puppy dog eyed her way into “saving” you makes me want to puke. But please, keep gloating about how you're the greatest, keep pumping yourselves full of hot air, because when the Glimmer Sisters burst your bubble at Apocalypse, there will be no doubt.
Gina: Especially since we're not done with the two of you... not by a long shot.
Gina winks as the twins' grins grow especially wicked with glee, the two of them crouching down and prowling over the cameraman like they're a juicy hunk of meat and these two are going to drain him of everything.
Gina: Maybe we can't have the kind of fun we would've preferred at Apocalypse, but that's not going to stop us from making the most of what we've got. We know you're going to be so desperate to make up for our fun little intervention on Breakdown-
Gia: For the record, we were doing The Vision a favor by making it clear they'll never be championship material, since Melinda keeps insisting on autoerotic asphyxiation with that Braddock bullshit.
Gina: And you're going to underestimate us. You're going to ride that high of “beating” us at our own game. And when you do, we'll leave you broken and humiliated, and that's just the opening act.
Gia: For the encore, we have to look no further than the tag titles themselves. After we prove we've always truly been the superior team over you and push you both one step closer to realizing your only correct path forward is to embrace the truth of your bodies that we've been trying to open your eyes to, we're going to lighten Deanna's load and she'll thank us for saving her when we unclip her leath and use it to choke Selena until she drops dead in the middle of that ring and the entire locker room lines up to kiss our asses in celebration that the bitch is finally gone. You'll both still have your rematch... we just get first dibs, and by the time you get to take your shot, we'll do this dance all over again.
Gina: And let's not forget the juicy irony that, like it or not, you may find yourselves learning a thing or two from us regardless. After all, unless someone fucked up when figuring out the schedule, I'm pretty sure I saw that the return of the trios tournament is on the horizon, and whether Gia or I are drawn to defend my crown with James and Enigma sadly stepping away... there's four of us altogether. I'd say there's some pretty good odds in there that a Glimmer gets drawn to team with either one of you, and then the fun will really heat up. The third wheel will be irrelevant... all that will matter is that you two aren't escaping us that easily... not until you've become intimately familiar with the “help” we're offering that will turn your your careers and your lives around.
Gia: For most of our time in SCW, the Glimmers have been unstoppable to a degree that no one, especially not the two of you, could ever hope to replicate. We plan on showing you both a taste of what that could do for you come Apocalypse.
Gina: And all you have to do is say our names... and beg for the Asspocalypse that will define the entire night and make sure the only thing anyone will remember mattering on the entire card is that the Glimmer Sisters reign supreme and look hot as hell doing it.
Gia: You two are welcome in advance.
Gia is the one winking now as the two of them both rise to stand tall before they turn around, their thick, juicy peaches looming like moons over us. Stereo spanks are the only warning we get before the pixellation (or copious amounts of booty if you're Amelia & Luz watching the uncensored version that'll personally be delivered to them) consumes our vision, leaving us to fade to black.

At first, all we see is darkness. We hear nothing, we see nothing, and maybe that gets you thinking that something is wrong. Maybe there's a problem with the video feed? Maybe somebody forgot to do their editing job?
It's not long before the realization sinks in that this is intentional.
When there is darkness, it inevitably gives way to light. Sure enough, after a few moments, we see the flame of a candle flicker to life. Then another, and another. One after the next, candles begin to come to life, their little flames finally illuminating the scene in a warm glow as they surround us on either side, like a wall of warmth and comfort. Wherever we see a candle, we also find more to admire: old photos of the late El Espíritu Angélico in action, painting the picture of a proud luchador who left it all in the ring and was proud to be a hero to the masses. Those inevitably give way to photos of both Amelia Nevado and La Pequeña Luz, both following his example and setting their own in the process as they build legacies of their very own. Along the way, we also see photos of the two women simply enjoying each other's company together, ultimately culminating in a photo that has to be from their wedding night, having taken place on Día de Muertos almost two years to the day.
Ultimately, our eyes are drawn to what stands in the middle of this unique Día de Muertos ofrenda, and it only feels appropriate that the candles lit the way towards The Light In The Darkness. From the elegant black dresses and the sugar skulls, Amelia's painted upon her face and Luz's in the form of her current mask design, they both evoke the haunting beauty of the Día de Muertos icon of La Catrina, even more so being illuminated only by candlelight. The two look at one another, smiling at the memories of where their journey through life together has brought them so far, before Amelia turns her gaze to us.
“Seven years ago, I first crossed paths with a luchadora who I thought was going to be the bane of my existence. She didn't have a stellar win-loss record compared to the perfection I was expected to maintain, and yet, from the moment we first fought with each other in that ring, there was an instant chemistry that I had never experienced before. Somehow, I could read her next move like an open book, but she returned the favor, and through several matches with one another, she went from being somebody I thought I could write off to someone who actually gave me a goal that was all my own. Luz was never in my parents' plans for my career, but I just had to face her again. And when I did... I learned that even in defeat, I could still walk away holding my head high, knowing I'd found someone who truly understood me.”
“By that same token, Amelia gave me the chance to define myself in a way that my father never had before. Don't get me wrong, I'll always love mi papá and owe him for both bringing me into this world and starting me down the path of lucha libre, but I was overwhelmed with the expectation of being La Hija del Espíritu Angélico instead of being La Pequeña Luz. When I dealt Amelia her very first loss in the wrestling business, I chose to extend my hand to her, give her somebody to open up to when she needed it most. She chose to let me in, showed me that we were more alike than we could've possibly believed, and when she needed somebody to stand by her side and help her break away from her family, I answered the call with no hesitation. We turned our chemistry as opponents into a tag team synergy that defies belief, and the more we paved our own path forward, acknowledging the foundation our respective parents left for us regardless of whether they were amazing or awful, the closer we grew.”
“When we first showed up to SCW several years ago, we were merely girlfriends, having traveled all over the world and proven ourselves in every situation imaginable. As of two years ago, on a sacred holiday that means the world to this beautiful woman beside me, we officially took the next step together. Now? I can call her my wife, but Luz is so much more than that. She is the light of my life, the hand that reached out for me when I began to slip. Just as we prepare for Día de Muertos and proudly welcome back the spirit of Luz's father to watch over us as we take to the ring in Indianapolis for Apocalypse, I am prepared to take the next step along this winding road back to the woman I know I can be... the wrestler who earns her place at the very top, the fighter who doesn't give up and doesn't take shortcuts when things look bleak.”
“You can take issue with it all you want, but the fact of the matter is that we're both women who take a lot of pride in where we come from and how we got here. We subscribe to the philosophy of leaving it all in the ring every single night to prove how far we've come and how much farther we want to go. When you hear our name mentioned among the greatest tag teams in SCW history, that's not us being arrogant or conceited. That's everyone around you, from the fans to the locker room, telling us that we've earned the right to be acknowledged as such.
And deep down, we know that bothers the Glimmer Sisters more than they want to admit.”
The flames of the candles flicker and sway, as if a nasty wind had just blown through the scene at the mere mention of the twin acrobats who once again stand between The Light In The Darkness and tag team gold. Maybe the spirits joining us today are making their disdain for them very clear, and it's certainly clear by the looks on Amelia and Luz's faces that they are not the Glimmers' biggest fans as their smiles slowly give way to looks that could chill you to the bone when coupled with the skulls adorning their faces.
“Ever since they arrived in SCW, Gia and Gina have been telling anyone who will listen that they are the greatest tag team this place will ever see. They put themselves on a pedestal from day one, sought to make the very concept of tag team wrestling revolve entirely around them and their antics. By their own admission, they are not wrestlers... they are schemers, they are showwomen, they are only here to make a mockery of everything Luz, myself, and everyone in that locker room who gives a damn about wrestling stands for. That's the trick... they want you to hate them for it, they want you to underestimate them because they don't take this seriously, and they're just waiting for you to take the bait so they can get in your head and throw you so far off your game that by the time you get your bearings, they've already stolen the win. It's a cute trick... unfortunately, it only works if you're facing someone willing to bite, and if we've proven anything throughout the years we've been in SCW, Luz and I are never ones to take anybody lightly for any reason.”
“Don't believe us? Look back at Taking Hold of the Flame. Gina used her Trios contract to force Ames and I to wrestle under the most humiliating circumstances we've ever dealt with. They forced us to wrestle in nothing but lingerie... not even the lingerie we picked for ourselves, but what they decided to give us because apparently our choice wasn't 'sexy' enough for their twisted perversions. They put the World Tag Titles on the line because they were supremely confident while trying to pit us against each other and the World Title Amelia held at the time was also thrown into the mix. They tried to prey upon where Amelia's head was at back then, they got to wrestle the whole thing like it was a Handicap Match while we had to follow all normal tag team rules, they violated us in ways that proved how little they care about the fact that we're married just because all women need to be eye candy like them in their eyes.
The deck was stacked so much in their favor in Las Vegas that it might be the single most one-sided stipulation in SCW history...”
“And they still lost.
We were objectified, we were humiliated, we were fighting from so far behind the proverbial 8-ball that we weren't even on the table at all, and we still beat them. You can say what you want about me given where my head was at during that time, but we gave them separate warnings that when it mattered most, Luz and I could put our trust in one another and come together to pull it off, and that's exactly what we did. They forced us to play their game, and we beat them at it. They can make excuses, claim their 'real win' was every disgusting thing they did to us while they had us more exposed than we ever want to be again in a public setting, act like being named Tag Team of the Year proves anything, but we see straight through the illusion and know you two got a reality check back at Taking Hold of the Flame. We tied the record for most World Tag Title reigns by a single team, even if I take full responsibility for how quickly that reign fell apart, I kept you two away from the World Title and out of the Rise to Greatness main event, and you can't even really claim you rattled us that much considering Luz went right back down to that ring within the following hour and almost won the battle royal on top of it all.”
“Your confidence, just like everything else about you, is all an act, and when you can't force others to play along, you find yourselves truly exposed and don't know how to respond. You want to hold the fact that you're the latest Tag Team of the Year over our heads? Go right ahead... we know that we can count the number of tag team matches we wrestled over the course of the past year on one hand, and we've won that award twice ourselves in past years already. You want to try and get under our skin again, target people we know have the potential to go far in this business because we wanted to give them the same opportunity we were offered to prove it? Between targeting Seraphina, wearing vandalized versions of our merch, and even ruining our match with The Vision, all you've proven is how much we've gotten into your heads. Do us a favor and shelve whatever sick, perverted fantasies you've tried to frame it with just to feel better, because ever since Taking Hold of the Flame... the Glimmer Sisters haven't been looking so hot, have they?”
“Speaking from painful experience, when you build up an idealized image of yourself for so long that you start to believe it's both real and infallible, your inevitable fall from grace becomes the moment that either makes you, or breaks you. Neither Luz nor myself will stand here today and admit we're perfect... heck, this year alone has proven that I still have a long way to go in dealing with my own scars and not letting them rewrite who I am just to prove that I'm good enough. That's why we're more than willing to meet you two in that ring come Apocalypse... we know we have a rematch for the World Tag Titles, and we know Deanna and Selena will happily give us that rematch whenever we ask for it because, truth be told? We owe it to them to have a match that's truly worthy of those titles Luz and I spent years working to reignite the fire of competition for, because the Breakdown where the Frosts beat us? All four of us know that was nowhere close to the kind of match we know we can have, the kind of match that those titles deserve.”
“But this is about more than simply making amends for a match born of problems that shouldn't have been addressed the way they were. You two have spent the last year spitting in the face of everything we worked so hard to build, tried to erase our names because your egos couldn't accept that you weren't getting all the credit. You can blame us all you want for not being able to have your own rematch, but whether it's for the titles or to determine who's next in line for them, you better believe Amelia and I are letting you anywhere near those titles again over our dead bodies. In my culture, death isn't something to fear or mourn, it's simply the natural next stage of life, and celebrating that is what Día de Muertos is all about. If that doesn't make it clear we're not afraid of whatever tricks you think will work this time, then I don't know what will, because if you couldn't beat us when you had everything so far in your favor that your victory should have been inevitable... what makes you think the result will be different when you actually have to do things the right way, our way, and actually have to put in the work to get what you want?”
Amelia and Luz slowly kneel down, looking as if they are both paying their respects at the ofrenda surrounding them and getting closer to us to make sure their next words are heard loud and clear.
“We didn't underestimate you or let you rattle us at Taking Hold of the Flame, and that isn't going to change come Apocalypse. Try to disrespect our boundaries again if you dare, because around the time we're celebrating two years of marriage, your disgusting efforts to try and 'taint' us are only going to give us a reason to show you why our love has always been one of our greatest weapons. Try to lie and deceive and trade places when it becomes clear you're just as out of your depth in Indianapolis as you were in Las Vegas, because I'll give you the same warning I gave you back then... I know your game, Glimmers. Your cute little magic trick that takes advantage of you two looking almost identical? My older siblings are twins, and it's just as much their bread-and-butter to get them out of a bind as it is yours. We've done our homework, and you're going to have to try a hell of a lot harder than you think to deceive us.”
“Losing to us has caused your entire facade to start crumbling... no matter how hard you try to claim otherwise, we see how much it bothers you that people are catching onto the act, that your show is getting stale. You can tell us all your want that you've got tricks up your sleeves that we've never seen before... tricks do not get you a win over The Light In The Darkness. If you think you can walk into Apocalypse and take this as lightly as you did back at Taking Hold of the Flame, then Amelia and I are going to hand you your behinds on a silver platter and expose you once again to the whole world, and not in any way we unfortunately know you'd like. You can keep playing carnival barker and trying to sell the world on your greatness because you think you can be the best without having to actually try, but by the end of Apocalypse, the world will know the truth you've been trying to hide this whole time.”
“When you strip away the sex appeal, the tricks and the mind games, the Glimmer Sisters are nowhere close to worthy of being considered one of SCW's greatest tag teams, now or ever.”
“You won't find us hiding anything when that bell rings, Glimmers. You'll see all our imperfections, all our scars, the love that binds us, and everything in between. You're stepping up to the plate to face us around one of the most important times of the year for The Light In The Darkness.”
“And when the dust settles, Luz and I will have earned the right to meet the Frosts again for the World Tag Team Titles.”
“While the two of you will be haunted by another much-needed reality check that your free ride is over. You want to get the glory and recognition you think you deserve?”
“Then you're going to have to actually wrestle for it.”
Amelia and Luz stare deep into the camera, the skulls on their faces doing nothing to hide just how hungry they are for this win, not just because of the importance of this time of year and what the win would mean for them, but also how sick and tired they are of the Glimmers and their sick little games. The looks soften as they slowly turn away from us, bowing their heads as if in prayer at the ofrenda before them. One by one, the candles slowly flicker out, and eventually, we are left with nothing but darkness once again.

**The Underground Championship Breakdown Turmoil match from the 2/19/2026 Breakdown is counted as both 1 win and 1 loss in this record as Amelia did win an Underground Title reign out of it, but also lost the title as well and was unable to finish the match as champion.
