Ricky James walks out of the front door of his house, luggage in hand, fresh off his one week suspension. Before heading towards the airport to fly to San Francisco for this week’s Breakdown, Ricky heads over to his neighbor’s house. His neighbor has three flags flying outside his front door: an American flag, a Confederate flag, and a Gadsden flag. Ricky steps up onto the front stoop and knocks on the door.

Ricky: Joe! You home?

The door opens and an older white man, in his sixties, stands in the doorway. He smiles and puts his hand out, which Ricky shakes.

Joe: Ric! How’s it goin’ man? Feels like it’s been months! Come on in!

Ricky follows Joe inside his house, which is garnished in more of the same flags from outside, historical photos, and crosses. 

Joe: Have a seat, son.

Ricky takes a seat on Joe’s couch, and Joe sits back down in his recliner. He grabs a glass of whiskey that had been next to the recliner and takes a swig.

Ricky: Yeah man, it does seem like a while. I’m actually on my way to San Francisco -

Joe nearly spits out his whiskey as he sits up.

Joe: San Francisco? The f***** capital of the country? 

Ricky: Yeah, that one.

Joe: What the fuck you doin’ there, Ric?

Ricky: I have a match there this week. Yeah, I’m not too thrilled about being there.

Joe, whiskey glass in hand, looks a little perplexed.

Joe: This ain’t one of them queer wrastlin things ain’t it? I thought you said this was a legit wrastlin promotion.

Ricky: God no, Joe. Well, I have some questions about some of the wrestlers….but all in all no. It’s a good promotion, it’s just being run by communists right now.

Joe: FUCKIN COMMIES! What’d I tell ya, son? I ain’t like where this country is headed. Them commie pieces of shit are trying to take over. 

Ricky: It’s the Canadians, Joe. SCW is full of them. A couple weeks ago they conspired against me in my match. They let an illegal wrestle against me. Not only that - they forced Lucy to wrestle a man, forced me to wrestle a woman-

Joe cuts Ricky off and sticks his finger out, shaking it a bit.

Joe: Did you...lay your hands...on a woman? 

Ricky: Of course not! We tried to fight the match. We gave a press conference and announced how disgusted we were with it. I only fought the “man”.

Joe: Well good. Unless she was illegal too. At that point it’s your duty to throw away that piece of trash.

Ricky: She’s actually American….I think. But yeah, the Canadian fucks screwed me out of the match! The referee wasn’t legal, my opponent wasn’t legal, and the whole match wasn’t legal. 

Joe: I hope you stood up and said something…

Ricky: We did. Lucy and I. We called out their conspiracy. And what did we get for it? A week’s suspension!

Joe by this point is absolutely outraged, his face bright red as he sits up again, spilling a small amount of whiskey.

Joe: I TOLD YA RIC! NO. GOOD. SOCIALIST. SCUM. You’re gonna get yourself into trouble over there, Ric. I’m just warnin’ ya again like I told ya before you started this.

Ricky: I gotta fight it, Joe. That’s why we joined SCW. We cannot let the communists win. We have to rid SCW of this sickness…

Joe calms down a little bit, reclining back in the chair and taking another swig of whiskey, finishing what was left.

Joe: You fight it alright....and Imma see what I can do for ya on the back end. I got a couple lawyer friends up north. We’ll take care of that shit. The illegals….men fighting women...all of it. 

Ricky: I appreciate it, Joe. You’ve always had my back since I got here.

Joe sits back up and puts his hand on Ricky’s shoulder.

Joe: For a fellow Patriot like you, I’d do anythin’. That’s what Amurica is about! But I ain’t wanna keep ya too long now. Go get on that flight to f***** City. Just make sure you ain’t catch anythin’ over there!

Ricky smiles.

Ricky: Will do, Joe.
