Rules:
The tournament is split into two blocks. In each block, every team will face each once. Points are as follows: Win – 2 points; Draw – 1 point; Loss – 0 points. The teams with the most points at the end will face off at the January TBA pay per view. Should there be a tie, appropriate semi-finals matches to act as tiebreakers will also occur on that night. If the winner of the tournament is not already the SCW World Tag Team Champion, they will not only receive the title of SCW World Tag League Winner, but a World Tag Team Championship shot at Retribution 2020.
The World Tag Team Champions are competitors in the tournament; every match that the champions compete in will be considered a title match with standard rules enforced (Titles can change hands on a pinfall, submission or TKO, but not on countouts or disqualifications).
Should a team break up, they will remain part of the tournament. In the event of injury, the injured partner can be replaced. Should both original team members be injured, the team forfeits all remaining matches.
OOC Notes:
This tournament will be a fed-wide angle for the remainder of the year. You may notice that, for the most part, there are few PPV matches included in the tournament. This is intentional. Stories and angles will continue around the tournament.
Of course, some of these teams may have their own internal angles, or even break up – that will only add another layer of story-telling to the tournament. Use the tournament as you see fit for your own purposes. Even if you’re teamed with one person and elect to split the team or go in different directions, I will respond in kind, but their involvement in the tournament will not change.
When the schedule is up, please note that it will be strictly booked to that. Please plan accordingly. No matches will be angled or rescheduled in this tournament. If someone needs to go on a LOA or leave the fed for an extended period, the IC rules above regarding injury will come into force (one member could find a replacement; forfeiture if both team members are out).
Should a member of the tournament win the SCW Television Championship, they could be double-booked. In those cases, they are allowed to post their roleplays for the tournament or their TV Title match for the other, and vice-versa, provided the roleplays agree with any other roleplaying rules (RP Limits, one RP in final 24 hours, etc.).
SCHEDULE WILL BE ADDED HERE UPON IT BEING REDONE.
