We are taken to the famous boardwalk in Atlantic City. It’s the Eastern Capital for all of gambling in the United States. It’s a sunny day out as we can see people walking all along the boardwalk. There are people finding their way to the hustle and bustle of the various casinos along the strip while many others are sitting by the beach in hopes to sunbathe with the beautiful rays from the sun. On the other hand there are others trying to stay cool as they are swimming in the Atlantic Ocean. There seems to be something for just about everybody in the city. Our journey however takes us to the inside of a bakery along the strip. The bakery is called Salvatore’s Bakery and it is owned and ran by Valentina Salvatore. She was the matriarch of the family and served as the Grandmother to that of Maria. The twelve year old Maria could only smile as she looked over at her innocent granddaughter who was trying her best.

“Nonna I don’t know if the cannoli is done. I tried my best but the cream seems off and…”

With that being said Valentina smiles as she walks over to where Maria is standing and she looks at what her granddaughter. She runs her hands through Maria’s long brown hair as she begins to help her out and she speaks to her in a very thick Italian accent.

“Just listen to your Nonna… Everything is fine but you are missing the most important ingredient…”

“I did something wrong with my cream didn’t I?! I followed your instructions as best I could. They look good but…”

Grandma just smiles as she looks at her granddaughter. She wraps her arms around her as she stares into her eyes.

“The most important ingredient that you are missing is love. If you don’t put love into every single thing that you do nothing will ever come out right. Once you add in the very special dosage of that you are going to get the results you want. Maria what is wrong?! You don’t seem to be in your normal cheerful mood?!”

Maria just shrugs her shoulders as she looks back at her grandmother and sighs in return.

“Do you think I could maybe one day bake cookies like you do…”

“Maria you know you can do whatever you put your mind too. I feel that isn’t what you wanted to ask me. If there is something on your mind I am here for you. Just tell me what is really going on in your life and I will do my best to help you…”

Maria takes a long deep breath as she gazes right into the eyes of her Grandma.

“Nonna… It’s Rob… I feel like he is upset at me. Rob and dad have this vision of me taking over the family and I don’t know if I am really cut out to do that…You know me best out of everybody in the family. I just want to live carefree maybe one day take over this bakery and just have fun about doing things. Rob took me out to the desert and he handed me a Beretta. I have never held a gun before in my life and he expected to take the life away from this Crystal Williams chick…”

Grandma just shakes her head as she continues to look at her granddaughter.

“I understand that. I know that it must be weird being in this family. You need to understand that we are one of the major families on the Eastern Coast and your brother gets all caught up in this feud with the Williams family. Our family has always been at war with those Williams. It’s bad for business with them being in Manhattan and us in Atlantic City. New York presents a huge market for drugs but we have to put up with them running things. I personally don’t like to get involved I am past those days but this is your future especially considering your brother wants to settle down and get married…”

“But I don’t want to be part of anything like that… I have dreams of having a family of my own and I don’t ever want to be in a position where I am confronted with a situation where I have to take the life of somebody else. That lady Crystal seemed like she was nice…”

“Well maybe that’s what she wanted you to think Maria. She is the wife of our sworn family in Todd. If you didn’t let her get away I am sure things would have been fine… You just need to embrace your role in this family. They are grooming you to be the successor of this family. One day you will have a child of your own and they will be the future legacy of this family. The cycle needs to go on and we have to always be strong throughout everything…”

Maria shrugs her shoulders sighing in return.

“That might be true but she was crying in that hole. She is a very young mother and I know for a fact that two wrongs don’t make a right… I just couldn’t do it… I want to be in control of the family but I just don’t want to be a disappointment to anybody. Not me, not you, not my brother Rob, and definitely not daddy. It seems like everybody is looking at me to be the next big thing but what I want should be important right?!”

Maria begins to cry and it’s at that moment when her grandmother places her arm around her. She sighs as she hugs her as tightly as she can.

“Look you know I am going to support you in every single thing that you do. I know you have so much riding on you but don’t let that get to you. At the end of the day the only one who can control what you want to do in life is you Maria. You have to be control of your own destiny. You can’t let anybody dictate what you wish to do. Not me, not your father, and not your brother. Only you can dictate what you plan to do in life…”

Maria nods her head in return.

“I guess you do have a point. Thank you so much for always being there for me…”

“Of course… You will always be my little Maria no matter what you choose I am always here for you… Always have been and always will be…”

“Thank you Nonna! I love you so much!!!”

Maria smiles as she goes back to helping her Grandmother in the bakery. The two seem to be having fun with one another and it isn’t long before we can see what looks to be a Cadillac pulling up in front of the bakery. We can see two men wearing pinstripe suits walking into the bakery as they look at Maria. Those men are none other than the two trusted henchmen of her brother Rob. They glance at Maria as the smaller man speaks to her.

“You need to come with us now… The boss wants to speak to you…”

Maria just sighs in return looking back at him.

“I don’t want to go!!! Nonna!!!!”

The grandmother looks at her granddaughter before sighing in return.

“Listen pumpkin maybe you should just go a ride. It’s only your brother and you know he loves you more than life itself. Just see what he has to say and if it’s really bad you know that Grandma will come to the rescue.”

Maria could only sigh as there really wasn’t a choice in the matter. When a member arranged a meeting you had to attend. Saying no wasn’t an option and her only refuge was that of her grandmother, and even she didn’t seem like she was going to save her. Maria was escorted by the two Italian wearing suits and having handguns in their pockets. She entered into the back of the vehicle and it is there where she took a seat next to her brother Rob. Rob smirked as he had a gun on his seat. He looked at it before his henchmen entered into the vehicle. He quickly snapped his fingers and at that instant the car took off as it left the Boardwalk scene and it drove on some side streets but kept the Atlantic Ocean in focus. Rob smiled as he looked at his sister.

“Maria you know you are a beautiful girl don’t you. You have a huge future ahead of you and you need to understand that when push comes to shove that this family should be your future…”

Maria quickly shook her head.

“I don’t want it to be my future though…You seem like you were built for this though. This is what you wanted from the very beginning…”

Rob laughs as he looks back at his sister.

“That might be true but you know I am going to get married soon to Lisa and I was thinking about expanding our family to the West. Las Vegas is the perfect place to expand our casino and from there we can do so much more. That leaves the East Maria and I know it probably feels weird to be part of such a family. However you should be thankful because we are the most important family. We control this city and this is your future. You need to stop running away from it and finally just embrace that taking over this family is what you were meant to do…”

Maria just slides further down in her chair as she sighs in return.

“I know you have this vision of me doing all of this for the family but Rob that’s just not me. It isn’t and it never will be. I don’t want to be the next Queen pin of the family. I just want to maybe take over the bakery and bake cookies with Grandma. This life of pushing drugs, murdering, and criminal activities just isn’t for me…”

“We aren’t going to listen to any of that Maria especially considering that you let all of the family down. We held all of the bargaining chips when we kidnapped Todd’s wife but you just had to let her go. What went down in the Nevada desert was a test to see if you were ready for this life and you failed miserably! You let our greatest asset free and…”

“I know you didn’t expect me to just shoot her! I am only twelve Rob… I haven’t been trained for this… You just can’t expect me to kill somebody when I have never even held a gun before. I don’t know if I am built to be in this life. I don’t care if I am a Mafia Princess. I just don’t have it in me…”

Rob laughs as he looks at his sister.

“I understand Maria and that is why we are going to fix this problem. That is why I wanted for us to go for a drive so you could understand how the family works. By the end of this drive you will accept your responsibilities and understand what you should be doing…”

“Wait what is that supposed to mean?!”

With that the car finally comes to a stop and it seems like we are at the end of a dock some along the Atlantic Coast. The ocean can be seen in the background and the two members of the Salvatore family along with the henchmen get out of the car as they walk to the end of the dock. Standing there we can see more henchmen. There are two men holding a man who has a hood over his head. Wrapped around his feet are huge cement blocks. He squirms as Rob looks at his men and motions to them.

“Take his fucking hood off…”

With that the men do exactly that. Under the hood is a bloodied man. He is squirming as he looks at everyone as Rob walks over to him and he snatches the tape off of his mouth.

“You piece of shit… You didn’t think we would find out that you were working with the Williams?! You were giving up information about the moves we were making over here… Did you honestly think we weren’t going to find out?! We know about everything that is happening in our city and you know what happens to snitches right?!”

“Go fuck yourself Rob as soon as I break free I swear to God I am going to kill you… I am going to put a bullet in you, your fiancé, your father, your grandmother, and your sister!”

Rob just laughs as he keeps his eyes locked on him.

“I run this city you don’t scare me and it’s not like you are going to live to tell the story anyway because you will be dealt with… As a matter of fact my little sister is going to deal with you…”

Maria rolls her eyes as she looks back at Rob.

“Wait I am?!”

“Yep… You still owe me for not taking care of the Crystal problem… This is how you redeem yourself and take your rightful place in this family… Before I gave you your first test and you failed miserably but now I will be right here by your side to see if you past this test with flying colors. You already heard what this man has said about our family. If he goes free it may come back to haunt us. We can’t let that go unpunished especially since he crossed our family…The only way to ensure the proper safety of our family is to silence him and make sure that he goes swimming with the fishes.”

Rob smirks pulling out a Beretta and hands it to the twelve year old. He smirks as she takes it nervously and begins to shake rapidly. She takes a long deep breath as she aims it at him.

“You stupid fucking Bitch… As soon as I break free I am going to kill you and…”

This was the hardest decision of Maria’s life. She honestly didn’t know what to do as she squeezed onto the gun as tightly as she did. She aimed it at him and it really felt like it was one of those when you had to decide between being a Renegade or a Paragon. The only thing flashing through her mind was that of her grandmother and her safety. With everything coursing through her body she couldn’t help but unload into the man as she screamed at the top of her lungs.

“DIE…. DIE YOU FUCKING PIECE OF SHIT!!!”

Rob smiled as he watched his sister lit him up. His sister seemed to be hurting but Rob quickly grabbed her which caused her to stop.

“Maria that’s enough…”

Maria was full of tears as she looked back at her brother.

“I don’t want him to hurt Grandma… Nobody can hurt my grandma….”

“I know… Maria you passed the test. You have redeemed yourself in the eyes of the family. You see I know it must have hard to let Crystal go but you need to understand that she is on the other side of war. In war there isn’t a right or a wrong. It’s kill or be killed… You don’t have to worry about what you did because the boys are going to clean this up…”

As soon as he said that Rob snapped his fingers his henchmen didn’t waste any time picking the cement blocks up and threw them in the water. In turn it caused the man to sink to the bottom of the ocean. Rob smiled as he looked over at his sister.

“How did it feel doing what you just did…”

“It was a scary feeling…”

“As it should be… This is a kill or be killed world Maria. At any time anybody can just sneak up and get us. We always need to be ready for whenever it happens. You are tasked with the being the Mafia Princess. You are the future of this family. You can’t let anything come in the way of his family. We have something major coming in the works. We plan to abduct Crystal and Todd’s little daughter. That should definitely give us the edge in this war. We have a special job for you… Befriend Crystal. Do everything you can to get on her good side and when the time is right you need to stab her in the back. It doesn’t matter how long it takes. In one way or another the mother of Todd’s child will suffer and in turn it just means he will suffer… You think you can do that?!”

Maria slowly nods her head in return.

“I understand…”

“Capiche… Welcome to your rightful spot in the family. I know this might be too much to handle. It’s definitely a lot to take in but if there is anybody who can deal with all of the pressure I know it’s you. After all throughout everything you are a Salvatore and as long as you remember that you can overcome anything. You have a bright future ahead of you and I trust that you will put the needs of this family beyond anything else…”

Maria nods her head as she smiles at her brother.

“I will Rob… I was scared at first but after what I saw today… I know I have to defend them all no matter the cost and nobody will ever threaten my family ever again. As far as Crystal is concerned I will deal with her when the time is right. Everything needs a plan and I feel like this is something I need to take my time in doing…”

“Good that’s what I like to hear. You might just be fit to run things… As far as the Beretta goes consider that your first ever gun… I see you taking this family to different heights… It’s all about the family and just remember that…”

With that Maria embraces her gun as she looks at her brother. The two of them make their way back to the vehicle as the henchmen clean up whatever mess was left behind. This was a strong transition for Maria but she was ready to finally take her spot as the future leader of the family.
















On Camera

The cameras come into focus and as it does we are treated to the sight of Maria Salvatore. She cracks a wicked grin as she runs her fingers through her long brunette hair. Her eyes meet with that of the camera lens as she begins to speak.

“What’s going on you fucking idiots… I guess this is when I finally can speak my mind and even though I have been here for quite some time. I really haven’t had a moment to showcase what I am about. I know there might some confusion over Crystal and I’s relationship but let me just explain it to all of you ass wipes. The fact of the matter is Crystal is far from being a friend. I really had no intention of siding with her on anything. I just took advantage of an opportunity and the real reason why I signed up to be with this company was simply for the fact that I wanted to get my hands on Konrad Raab. There isn’t any hidden agenda about it. I haven’t liked him since the two of us were competing together in another company… Me being in this company was more so about me getting my hands on him more so than being here for Crystal…”

Maria shakes her head.

“Besides why should I be excited over teaming up with the most overused, overrated female in wrestling today?! She couldn’t even get her story straight about her reasoning for being here so why should I really care about anything that has to do with her especially considering that the two of us met one another on the opposite side of a rivalry 13 years ago. It’s crazy how much life goes by. Here we are however and if you really look at our matches together. She was the one that was fucking up in our tag team matches. She was on the majority side of the losing department and if she wasn’t quite the choke artist we might have actually gone somewhere in this company. However I won’t sit here and whine over Crystal especially considering I am the one who has the last laugh. I am the one who is married to one of her former boyfriends. It was only a few years ago when I tormented her and her wife, and after fulfilling the promises of my brother on making her suffer I can actually focus on what I want to do, and that being get my wrestling career in order…

Who exactly am I?! I am Maria Salvatore. You might have heard about me considering my family is notorious in the New Jersey area. I lead one of the biggest criminal based families and I am absolutely proud of it. I could have anything I want but to be honest I have always taken an interest to the wrestling world. It is within wrestling that I knew I wanted to take things to an even higher level. My brother Rob was a big time wrestler. I remember watching him win multiple World Championships and after watching him I knew that is what I wanted for my life. I did everything I possibly could to get deeply involved in the business. I went to college for Business Administration and as soon as I left with my degree I found my way right smack dab in a wrestling company as a General Manager. It was fun times indeed…

I was able to get my first taste at seeing how a company works. I got deeply involved in things that happened behind the scenes and I knew I wanted more. It wasn’t that long until I found myself involved in another company and I was General Manager for a week. I did what I could to make it a worthy company but the unthinkable happened. Somebody put their hands on me. I was beaten up and I was called rude names such as fat. I tried to be nice and I tried to turn away from being that Mafia Princess that I was raised to be but after all of the bullshit all it really did was wake it up inside of me.

Once it was awoken I knew that things would be taken to a different level and it would only bring out the mean streak in me. I got the proper wrestling training and after doing everything I possibly could I was finally able to join the ring. I was magnificent. I may not be the most polish of wrestlers but I definitely know how to handle my own when it matters.

I can go on and on but honestly the only thing that really matters is what is happening in the present day and there are a lot of reasons why people should be angry at me. For starters the main reason is the fact that I am getting a shot at the Television Championship. I know somewhere Crystal is probably pissed off that I am the one getting the title shot and it’s not her. During my time in wrestling I haven’t really accomplished all that much. What I want more than anything in this world is to become a champion and when I step into the ring with Asher Hayes. I am ready for a fight and win lose or draw. The world will know that I am here.
