The following was recorded at the site of the new Derek Adonis Retreat and Prayer Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Billed as a first-of-it's-kind location in Sin City, this site is devoted to anything but: a safe haven from the carnal temptations of the outside world. Within, Derek Adonis, an ordained minister already in order to perform marriage ceremonies, preaches to a small but captive audience...

"Thomas was a doubter, my friends. Thomas thought, because HE had not seen the Lawrd with his own eyes... because HE had not placed his fingers into the holes... KA..."

Adonis pauses, shaking his head. 

"No... I shall not embrace the mistakes of my past. Because he had not placed his fingers into the holes in Christ's hands... because HE had not placed his hand into the side wound where the soldier's spear had pierced Him as a test... that it was not true. Thomas was a DOUBTER. I, too, was a doubter. I believed before that the road to happiness was set only on carnal lust and sexual gratification. I became addicted to pornography. I became ADDICTED to the pursuit of sexual conquest! I owned a box of conquests... small tokens taken from each of my previous lovers. But it was a sinner's game! I was not seeking happiness but a means to fill the hole in my soul that had been killing me forever. But I found it. I let the LAWRD fill the hole! I sat back and let Him take me. I let him drill me with his teachings... let out his load of love and forgiveness! I let Him use me for His purposes and stand before you a stronger man because of it!"

The crowd applauds. Adonis nods his head humbly. 

"And now I seek to spread His seed onto all that might receive it. I will do His work. Thomas Valentine, like Thomas of old, is a doubter. He likely doubts the voracity of my claims. He likely doubts my capabilities. But like the Lawrd has touched me, I too shall touch Thomas in a way that is unrivaled. I shall show him the error in his Godless ways. I shall demonstrate him that the path to eternal happiness is NOT contained in the derrière of his consort, but in the embrace of the Good News! I shall open his eyes to all that the world has to offer. Forever and ever, AMEN!"

The crowd responds with it's own "Amen". Adonis bows his head in a silent prayer as the batteries on the camera filming cut out, shutting the camera off and cutting the scene right out.
