Danny Darko & Glory Braddock vs. Tsunami & Jenni Anderson
#1
Two odd pairings but stemming from their clash on Breakdown. Danny Darko returned wanting to introduce himself to Glory Braddock, but instead was witness to Glory Braddock being attacked by Tsunami and Jenni Anderson. Jenni Anderson meanwhile has struck some sort of deal with Lester Damron and Tsunami and their first action was Tsunami attacking Glory while Darko watched. What will happen when these twosomes team for the first time on Breakdown?

Glory Braddock’s attempt to find a path to Rise To Greatness has not gone as she had hoped.  The most obvious path would have been to win Taking Hold of the Flame but, unfortunately, that match was won by Adam Allocco.  Then Braddock had hoped to impose herself into the United States Championship picture by defeating former challenger Owen Lee.  That, too, did not turn out as she had hoped when she lost Owen.  Now she seems to find herself as a victim of some sort of deal struck between Jenni Anderson, Lester Damron, and Tsunami as she was left laying in the middle of the ring during Breakdown.  Glory isn’t concerned about the potential alliance.  At least not right now.  Braddock is confident that she and Danny Darko can put a swift end to this when they team up to face Jenni and Tsunami next week.

Besides, if there is one thing that The British Bombshell has learned over the past few months it is that she should not let herself get so caught up in her career that she forgets to enjoy herself, that she forgets to have fun, that she forgets to just simply be a good person.  Wrestling is just one of her many outlets, outlets to enjoy herself and have fun.  She enjoys the thrill of competing against the best the squared circle has ever produced.  Braddock also enjoys a good round of karaoke and playing pranks on people.  These are her outlets to help maintain her balance between work and pleasure.  And she didn’t realize just how much she hated the work aspect of he career until she was forced back into that world early in the month.

Along with being a professional wrestler, Glory Braddock is also a successful businesswoman.  And her company’s board of directors saw fit to throw her a big party in her honor.  So for one night only Braddock had to get all glamoured up and hob nob with the snobs who help run her business.  In a perfect world Glory would have nothing to do with corporate life.  But she seemingly was pulled into the life against her own will.  It started when she bought the rights to a defunct promotion, all in the name of giving wrestlers a place to ply their craft.  But when it grew she was forced to take on more responsibility, because she felt obliged to keep it afloat herself.  Then when her father, Glenn Braddock, passed away she inherited his wrestling school and she incorporated that into the company.  Last, but not least, when her cousin’s modeling agency began to have financial difficulty, Glory bought the agency out so that she could keep it afloat for her cousin.  What had started out as a small organization had grown into a powerhouse rather quickly.  Glory had become quite a powerful woman.

Power is seductive and that is the problem for Glory Braddock.  She hated what the power did to her.  She hated how it twisted her and made her into a self-absorbed egomaniac.  It took interactions with two young, energetic, bright, up and coming wrestlers for Glory to see what she had truly become; it took Fiona Logan and Amelia Stone to help Glory realize just how far she had gone.  And it took awhile for Braddock to rediscover herself, to lock away that ugly monster she had become and throw away the key.  When she did, Glory vowed to never become that person again and to ensure that never happens she wants to stay as far away from corporate power as possible.  She went as far as to hand full executive power to the minority shareholder, Aurora Alan.

Still there are times when Glory Braddock cannot ignore her corporate responsibilities.  And when the board of directors decides to honor her by throwing a party, she cannot just ignore it.  Against her better judgment Glory did go to the party.  She rubbed elbows with the corporate snobs, the same people she once was.  She vowed to do whatever it took to make sure none of their snobbery rubbed off on her.  Luckily for The British Bombshell, she would meet a like-minded individual; a young woman named Jamie Ryan.

Jamie Ryan is the niece of Board member Floyd Ryan.  Despite her uncle being on the board of directors Jamie, like Glory, detests the big parties that the corporate snobs throw for themselves.  She seems to be a down to earth person, much like Glory.  She seems like someone Glory can legitimately relate to.  Jamie almost seemed too good to be true.  And just as Glory was beginning to let her guard down at that party the truth of that statement rang true; because Jamie would go on to ask Glory to find her a job with the company.

It is an odd request that leaves so many questions for Braddock.  Still, despite the questions and skepticism, Jamie seems very genuine and very sincere.  Is Glory just being played for a fool?  Perhaps.  But Glory wants to give the young girl the benefit of a doubt.  So she has arranged to meet with Jamie in Miami and Jamie, a self-proclaimed admirer of Glory’s, was all too happy to accept the invitation.  This is what brings Braddock to downtown Miami.  The British Bombshell is dressed in a pink floral print sun dress, sandals, a wide brim hot pink straw hat.  Sunglasses cover her eyes.  She is approaching the agreed upon meeting place; a small cafe.

The closer Braddock gets the closer everything and everyone comes into view.  She sees a black haired young woman in green shorts, a matching green tanktop, and flip flops.  She waves wildly at Glory, obviously trying to get The British Bombshell’s attention.  Yep, it’s Jamie.  Glory grins as she waves back, letting Jamie know that she sees her.  As Braddock approaches she can see that Jamie already took the pleasure of ordering for the both of them.  Two cups of coffee are already on the green patio table where Jamie is seated.

“Coffee.  Black.”

“Who told you I liked my coffee black?” Braddock asks, arching her brow.

“Lucky guess?” Jamie says uneasily.  Glory can tell that she is lying based on the uneasiness in her voice.  Braddock smirks and shakes her head.

“Spill.  Where did you get your intel?”

“Your husband.” Jamie says with a sigh. “I asked him at the party.”

“Bloody wanker.” Glory says with a soft chuckle in her voice. “I shoulda known he couldn’t keep his mouth shut, especially at those bloody parties.  He loves ‘em.”

“I could tell.” Jamie says with a Cheshire cat like grin on her face.  She motions to the patio chair next to her. “Sit!” Braddock nods her head and obliges, sitting down next to Jamie.

“So how do you like Miami?”

“It’s cool so far.  It’s nice, relaxed, laid back.  It is a much different atmosphere than Raleigh.”

“Don’t I know it.” Glory says rolling her eyes. “That’s partially why I moved down here.”

“Yeah, I remember.” Jamie says as she nods her head. “Uncle Floyd was new to the board at the time.  You tried running the company long distance from London but you couldn’t do it.  You tried running the company from Raleigh, the corporate headquarters, and that was much easier.”

“Oh God it was so much easier!” Glory exclaims. “All those long distance virtual calls drove me batty.  I could talk to a real live person at corporate headquarters and it made things run so much smoother.”

“So if it was so easy that way then why did you move down here?”

“Two reasons.”  Glory holds up two fingers. “First, like you pointed out the atmosphere in Raleigh is just too tense.  Everyone in that bloody city is so damned uptight.  It’s like your blood pressure automatically skyrockets as soon as you hit the city limits.” Braddock and Jamie both share a hearty laugh as she says this.

“I can believe that!” Jamie says. “But what’s the other reason?” Jamie waits patiently for an answer.  She gets none.  Instead she gets a skeptical glare and then cynical smile from The British Bombshell.

“Don’t play games with me, mate.”

“What do you mean?”

“Your uncle has been on the board for a very long time.  I’m sure he knows the other reason I moved down here and I’m sure you’ve already overheard it, especially if you are as big an admirer of mine as you claim.” There is a tense pause.  Jamie finally sighs and nods her head.

“You’re right, Ms. Braddock.  I can’t fool you, can I?”

“No, you can’t.” Braddock slaps her on the back. “But you get points for trying.”

“Moving down here was what led the Board to try and remove you from power, right?” Jamie asks.  Glory sighs and nods her head.

“Well it is a little more complicated than that.”

“It was Aphrodite.”

“You really are a gutsy one, aren’t you?” Glory says with a wry grin on her face.  Jamie blushes furiously.

“I’m sorry, Ms. Braddock, I didn’t mean to…”

“Call me Glory.” She demands.  “And there’s nothing to apologize for.  I mean, I have done a lot to keep that story hidden.  Hell, I did a damn good job of keeping it quiet.  And a part of me is ashamed for it.”

“Why?”

“Because I do care about her.” Glory says as she sips on her coffee.  The ‘her’ Glory is referring to is Aphrodite Noel.  Aphrodite became Glory’s mentor for a period of two to three years starting in 2014.  Glory needed Aphrodite’s knowledge and wisdom to guide her though the rough waters of running a company.  But what started as merely a mentorship became a much closer bond.  Glory spent the vast majority of her teenage years and most of her early adult years with her mother, Mary Ford, out of the picture due to the vicious break up of Mary and Glenn Braddock’s marriage.  Late in 2014 Glory began to view Aphrodite as a new mother for her.  She proved to be very loyal to Aphrodite, as loyal as a daughter would be to her mother.

This loyalty became problematic for the Board of Directors.  Aphrodite wrestled for their promotion.  They didn’t want a wrestler having that much power and sway over the CEO.  So they pulled some strings and managed to legally strip Glory from her executive powers.  It took a long time for Glory to regain full executive control over her company.  It took even longer before Glory won back the trust of the Board of Directors.

Braddock takes her cup of coffee and takes a sip. “I moved to Miami partially because it is a more relaxing environment.  But also because I wanted to be close to my mentor, to Aphrodite.  The Board didn’t like that very much, Jamie.” Glory sets her cup of coffee down. “Now since you have been all inquisitive, maybe it’s my turn to interrogate you?”

“Oh?”

“Call me a mite curious, but you wanted a job with the company. A job with GGE. Right?”

“Oh yea! Very much Ms. Bra….Glory!” Jamie quickly catches and corrects herself, causing Glory to chuckle a little.

“Well, Jamie, I just have one question. If you want to work for a company where your uncle sits as a member of the board of directors, why would you not go through him?”

“Uh…” Jamie isn’t quite sure how to answer this.  Braddock detects the look of panic on her face and decides to press further.

“I only met you at that stupid party a few weeks ago. But Floyd is your family. You’re much closer to him than me.”

“Well, um…uh…”

“Spill it, kiddo. Like I said, you can’t get anything past me, so you may as well tell me now. What is your real angle here?” There is a long tense pause as The British Bombshell stares into Jamie’s eyes. Finally the young girl relents and nods her head.

“Ok, I admit that there’s a little more to it than just wanting a job.”

“I thought as much.” Glory says, smirking triumphantly.

“Remember when I said that I am a big admirer of yours? Well that’s true. I meant that. And that’s kinda part of why I wanted to ask you for a job, but not just any job.”

“What job?” Glory asks with an arched brow.

“I want to be your advisor!” Jamie says, smiling gleefully. Braddock quickly shatters her spirits, quickly brings her back to reality by shaking her head in a decisive no.

“I don’t want an advisor. I don’t need an advisor.”

“Of course you do!”

“Why would I need an advisor, Jamie? You’re not a wrestler so you can’t advise me there.”

“I can help you with the company!”

“Absolutely not.” Glory shakes her head adamantly. “I want nothing more to do with the corporate life.”

“That’s why I can help you!” Jamie insists as she scoots closer towards Glory. “I grew up in and around business all my life! I got this!” Jamie happily declares. Glory frowns.

“I thought you said you hated that life as much as me? Or was that yet another lie I caught you in?” Glory says in an accusatory tone, causing Jamie to again blush furiously.

“Ok, so maybe I lied just a wee bit…”

“A wee bit?!”

“I lied a lot!” Jamie says with a big sigh. “But seriously, I can help you with the company.”

“Thanks for the offer, Jamie. It’s the thought that counts, I suppose, but like I said, I don’t want any involvement with the company. That’s why I handed full executive powers to Aurora Alan.”

“Yeah, I know.” Jamie says, her jovial demeanor suddenly changes. She becomes much more serious. “My uncle told me all about that. If you ask me, you’re making a huge mistake by trusting her.”

“And what the hell is that supposed to mean?”

“Glory, you were at your best, at your peak, a few years ago back in 2018 when you regained control of the company.” A sinister grin forms on her face. “Uncle Floyd told me all about it.”

“About what?!”

“About how you bullied and intimidated the board of directors into submission, into complete subservience to you. They became just a rubber stamp for whatever you wanted. You basically had a blank check to do anything and everything with that company. No one could have stopped you.”

“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” Glory states. Jamie chuckles.

“Now who is lying? C’mon, Glory, you know me by now. My uncle is on the board of directors. So I know about the intimidation campaign, the blackmail, I know all of what you did. And you wanna know something else? My uncle was one of your biggest supporters. He always was. He was working behind the scenes, pulling some strings of his own to help keep the board in line.”

“I have had enough of the games.” Glory snarls back. “What do you really want, Jamie? And I mean it. No more lies. What do you really want?”

“I just want you to be the woman I once admired. Not the clown who plays to the crowd in a wrestling ring. I want you to become the leader GGE corporate needs.”

“I’m not that person anymore.” Glory shakes her head.

“That’s a shame, because that’s what corporate needs right now. Especially now considering the Alan family faction sitting on the board is trying to flex its muscles again.” Jamie sneers at Glory. “They saw your weakness when you put Aurora in power.”

“I did it because I trust Aurora to do a good job and as a sign of goodwill to the board.” Glory counters.

“Well they didn’t see it that way. They saw weakness. They saw their chance to remove you and make Aurora your permanent replacement.” Jamie announces. Glory shakes her head, refusing to believe it. Jamie just scoffs. “Oh c’mon, don’t be naive. Aurora Alan is still an Alan, representative of the founding family of the company. And you know damn well that there is a strong faction on the board that would love to see the original family back in charge.”

“You’re wrong.”

“Am I? Glory, the longer you stay away from corporate the bolder the board will get and the more likely they are to take action against you.” Jamie slams her fist on the table. “The time to strike is now!”

Glory stands up. She points away. “You should leave. Leave now!” Glory sneers.  “How is that for taking action?”

“Fine. I’ll leave.” Jamie points a finger in Glory’s face. “But you should seriously think about your future.” Braddock swats her finger away.

“Get that finger out of my face before I break it.”

“This was a waste of time.” Jamie retorts. “You’re too weak.”

Jamie shrugs her shoulders. She turns and walks off. Once Jamie is out of sight Glory sits back down and sighs. She has a lot to think about. Could Jamie be right?

The Return…

SCW Interviewer Jessica Winters has been granted access to the home of long-time professional wrestler, Daniel Ashmore, a/k/a "Devious" Danny Darko, for an interview. He currently resides in a studio apartment in the downtown of his hometown of Portland, OR. The place is a bit cluttered and has the appearance of what one would consider a bachelor pad. As Danny escorts Jessica to the couch where the interview will take place, she takes it all in and you can sense her disbelief.

"Alright, Ms. Winters, this is the best place I got for this. Sorry it's not ideal," Danny says while motioning to the couch. He has got a scruffy look about him, almost appearing to not be taking much care about his looks.

Jessica smiles and takes a seat. "It's really alright. No need to apologize. I have a lot of questions to ask you and if this is where you feel comfortable doing so, then so be it."

Danny takes a seat across from her on the ottoman. "You have a lot of questions, sure. I hope that my answers aren't disappointing. It's uh…been a while since I've done something so formal." He shifts in his seat and looks rather uncomfortable.

Sensing his discomfort, Jessica asks, "Would you like to sit next to me on the couch? I don't mind being that close to you if it would help make for a better interview."

"Are you sure? I unfortunately don't have very many seating options here. I'm usually just here alone. I honestly never thought I'd be sitting here doing this interview."

Jessica nods and he takes a seat next to her.

"Now that you're comfortable, let me start with the fact that you just said you live here alone."

Danny shrugs. "Yeah, what about it? (pause) Oh right…you don't know about any of my life from the past few years. Sometimes it's hard for me to remember that I haven't exactly been a public figure. Why would anybody know about anything that's happened to me? Um…"

Sensing that Danny is unsure of how to continue, she chimes in. "The reason I'm surprised that you're living not only alone, but here in Portland, is that the last time you were a public figure and an active wrestler, you were living in Brooklyn with your wife, Vanilla Skyy."

Danny's eyes grow wide for a brief moment before he runs his right hand slowly through his jet black hair. "Right. Of course. Wow, it's really been that long, eh? (pause) WELL, shortly after Vanilla and I left Emerge and began to settle into our retirement, she uh…she disappeared. I have…no idea what happened to her or where she went. Given some of the enemies she and I made, it's anybody's guess what happened to her."

Jessica can't believe what she's just been told and she sits there stunned until Danny continues.

Danny's tone grows darker and more tense as he explains. "I mean, I have some theories about what might have happened to her. My only hope, if you call it that, is that she's an extremely strong woman so I'm sure she's okay…"

"Are you okay? That sounds awful. From what I gathered from a distance, you two seemed like you would-"

Danny holds his hand up to pause her. "I know what you're about to say, but this happened over two years at this point and I've exhausted all avenues of finding her. For all I know she just decided to leave it all behind and doesn't want to be found."

"How is it possible that we heard nothing about it? She was quite a famous wrestler, after all."

Danny shakes his head. "When you no longer wrestle, the world doesn't give a fuck about you anymore. It's just the way the world works. Many in the mainstream see us as nothing but freaks. Even if some of us become huge stars in our field, Hall of Famers, amazing accomplishments…it doesn't get us anywhere but on the fringe of mainstream media consciousness."

"Be that as it may, you still would think that we…" she notices he has his head buried in his hands and stops talking.

Danny looks up with a rather blank expression. His demeanor is now flat and quiet. "I've been alone for a couple years now. I moved back here a couple of months ago and told myself that I need to get my shit together. (pause) I have wasted the past couple years of my life wondering if and/or when I would wake up and find Vanilla right there beside me…"

Jessica seems to acknowledge his need to move on from that topic. "Why have you made the decision to sign with Supreme Championship Wrestling, then?"

Danny sighs deeply and collects himself. "The only thing I've truly even been any good at is fighting. I don't have any grand proclamations to make about how I'm going to become the best damn SCW World Champion or anything like that.   I have come to SCW just to do something with my life."

Winters seems rather puzzled by that statement.

Danny arches his eyebrows and smiles. "You were expecting something else, weren't you? (pause) I suppose after roughly 20 years of calling myself such names as The Ace Of Annihilation and The Guru Of Gore, that is what you figure I'd bring with me upon my re-entry into the madness that is professional wrestling. Nah, the fact of the matter is I've just missed being around all of this. So I'm just here to wrestle and have a good time. If success comes with that, then all the better!"

Although a bit surprised by this unexpected attitude, Winters nevertheless persists. "You could have chosen any number of companies if that was all you were looking for."

Danny laughing says, "That's a good point, but how cool is it that I'm finally here? I've competed for the bulk of the past 20 years and SCW has almost been around just as long. What finally got this idea in my head, though, was the connection that SCW had with Emerge. (pause) You likely are aware that I was the Assistant GM for a while in Emerge until The Unforgiven came around and…yeah, the less said about all of that the better. No Cindy Todds or Willow Wilkes or Typhoid Marys around here, yeah? Ahhh, the point I'm trying to make is that we would put on these shows and got a lot of direction from SCW about how things should be. And I always told myself that one day, just maybe, I'd finally sign with SCW and see first hand what I've been missing."

He takes a sip of water and continues with great enthusiasm.

"In my first SCW match, I have the honor of teaming up with the legendary Glory Braddock. Which is funny to me since my last match before I retired was against Julia Braddock. Life is quite peculiar sometimes. I promise you, Glory, that this soon to be 43 year old veteran is going to give it everything he's got. Fingers crossed it will be enough."

Winters gets up off the couch and Danny does the same.

"Alright, I think that'll do it, Danny. Welcome to SCW at long last."

Danny nods and once she's gone he mutters under his breath, "I sure hope I don't embarrass myself…."

Calgary, Alberta, Canada
On Camera
==========

The camera begins rolling. We are just outside of an empty, abandoned building in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Standing propped up against the side of the building is none other than “The British Bombshell” Glory Braddock. The beautiful blonde is dressed in a knee length black skirt, a black silk blouse, and a black women’s blazer. She is perched atop patent leather high heel pumps. Her long blonde hair is left to flow freely, straight, and unrestrained to just past the shoulders.

“All I have been trying to do since Taking Hold of the Flame was try to find my path to Rise To Greatness. The first, most obvious path was to win the Flame and go on to main event Rise To Greatness, challenge for the SCW World Championship.” Braddock shakes her head. “That wasn’t to be, at least not this year. Congratulations to Adam Allocco. I am certain you and Selena will bring down the house.”

“So what happens next? Well I found it strange that Owen Lee expected, anticipated, that he would get the first crack at Josh Hudson and the United States Championship. And why? Just because they don’t like one another? I came closer to that title than Owen did. I made it to the finals. So why not The British Bombshell? Why couldn’t I get a fair opportunity to insert myself into the US Title picture? So I set out to challenge Owen. I wanted him to prove he was worthy of that title opportunity by facing one of the pre-imminent, one of the very best technical wrestlers in the game today. And I took Owen to the limit…” Braddock sighs and again shakes her head.

“...but again I came up short. Congrats, Owen. Good luck against Hudson at Rise To Greatness. So on Breakdown I was hoping to address my future, I was hoping to address my path to Rise To Greatness. Because it has been a long time since I have held championship gold and I want to remedy that. I want to have gold back in my possession. It seems like Selena and Hudson are all tied up, they are busy, but whether it is Cid Turner and the Adrenaline Championship, Kimberly Williams and the Underground Championship, or Deanna Frost and the Television Title, I wanted a shot at some gold. That is my path to Rise To Greatness.” Braddock chuckles softly.

“Oh but who could have guessed that yours truly would have been interrupted? Well anyone with half-a-brain could have guessed that. This is professional wrestling. It seems you are contractually obligated to be interrupted by someone whenever you try to address a capacity crowd. In this case I was interrupted by Christ Matthews…who I got the distinct honor and privilege of facing last year at Rise To Greatness. Then we were interrupted by the newest SCW signee Danny Darko.”

“Danny, you may be new to SCW but you are most definitely NOT new to professional wrestling. I have seen what you have done in places like IWC, UWA, EMERGE, and so many other places. Your reputation precedes you, my friend, and even though you did interrupt me and Christy, I can forgive you because of who you are, and because sharing the ring with you is a privilege. That’s the way it should have ended. It should have ended with just three great wrestlers showing great respect for one another. Magic could have been created. Hell, a path to Rise To Greatness could have been found for all three of us.” Glory shakes her head.

“Unfortunately we can’t have good things now can we? And we cannot have a simple discussion in a wrestling ring. Just like it seems as if you are always contractually bound to be interrupted in a wrestling ring, there are also those contractually obligated to create chaos. In this case, the creator of chaos is none other than Jenni Anderson.” The British Bombshell smirks knowingly.

“Jenni, I have no idea what prompted you to strike this deal with Tsunami and his handlers. I have no idea what prompted you to bring you latest toy to the ring and use him to attack me, Darko, and Christy. Really, seriously, it makes no sense. Deanna Frost is the one who humbled you and beat you for the SCW Television Championship. You tried everything you could think of to bring disgrace and dishonor to that championship and this business as a whole by buying your victories, paying opponents to let you win, paying other people to help you win, you tried all of that but you failed. At the end of the day, it seems that not everyone has a price.”

“Perhaps that’s why you decided to move on from Deanna? Instead of trying to purchase fame and fortune, instead of trying to prove that your money can put you above and beyond the prestige, honor, and respect of professional wrestling you are going to use your wealth to make an impact at the expense of three top stars in Supreme Championship Wrestling? I don’t know if that is your grand scheme or not. To be perfectly honest, I don’t really care what your intentions and motivations are, Jenni. Whatever your motive, the point is that you made a colossal mistake. Because now I am no longer worried about my path to Rise To Greatness. My concern is not on Rise To Greatness.” Braddock points a finger at the camera. “I am laser focused on making you and your giant, overgrown, B-Rate monster movie reject pay.”

“Speaking of King Kong’s uglier brother…do you really think I’m concerned in the least little bit about Tsunami?” The British Bombshell shakes her head. “Tsunami is all hype. He is all bark and very little bite. I outsmarted the dumb oaf once before. I humiliated and sent him packing for the hills. I sent him into exile until he finally got enough courage to show his ass back up at Taking Hold of the Flame. And on Breakdown when you drag King Kong Jr to the ring with you to face me and Darko, I’ll whip his ass again and once again send him packing right back to parts unknown. Because this is the reality of the situation, and I want you to listen and listen good, both you and Tsunami.”

“Tsunami…cannot…beat…me.” Braddock shakes her head. “He can’t beat me, simple as that. Is it arrogance talking? No, its just simple fact. I have stood up to monsters bigger, nastier, and more dangerous than him and I have chopped them all down to size. I have stood up to deadlier freaks of nature and do you know where all of them went after facing me? They are all no longer in this business. So you bring your monster, Jenni, because I have made a career out of destroying monsters.”

“As for Danny Darko…” Glory grins from ear to ear “...I suppose you were expecting the typical return match against local enhancement talent, eh? Maybe beat up STD or that chick whose name changes every week? Unfortunately because of some loud mouth with money throwing a temper tantrum, you are stuck with me and we have to take that loud mouth and shut her up for good. We are also tasked with taking that rabid dog she purchased and put it down for good. But I know you, like me, have made a career of facing down dangerous threats like this. You have fought deadlier threats than Tsunami and his handler of the week. So am I concerned about this tag team match on Breakdown?” Braddock shakes her head.

“Not a bit! Hell, I look forward to working with you in your return to the ring. And ring rust? Even with ring rust I know that the two of us will not only survive but we will thrive. Because you and I have the experience, we have the heart and determination, and we damn sure have the ability to kick the ever living crap out of miss money bags and her rent-a-thug. I know that together you and I can teach them a lesson that they will never ever forget. Welcome back to wrestling, Danny. I look forward to you and I kicking their asses right here in Calgary.” Glory shuts her eyes. “Sic Semper Tyrannis…”

The camera fades to black.
