I went with "crack on" as I'll go with whatever the consensus is.
That said, I almost voted for the 3000 words, as there are times I struggle to hit even the 2500, and almost feel like if it jumps TOO much, writers like me might find it harder to keep up. But that's just me thinking out loud, so you can file that alongside Peggy Hill's Musings column. In conclusion, everyone should watch more King of the Hill.

I think the answer to this is obvious... go 3250 with a 750 shoot... smack bang in the middle
I will also not that you won't be marked down for not getting to the limit. Sometimes less is more that's for certain. It's not really being raised to help win matches, more people that want to push their stories along more quickly |
