OOC: I just wrote this on the fly as I intended to write this type of CD scene in the Trios Tournament, but on top of other scenes I have planned, it would go way over the word max limit. Hence, that's why it's going here: enjoy.

Atlanta, Georgia. Monday 9th September. (Offline)
Luckily for Dakon, Ludvig and Kemal, I was in Atlanta, Georgia, anyway, with the NASCAR races taking place there over the weekend, but before I flew off to New York for a wrestling match and bits of promoting the Watkins Glen races, I was going to do, I needed to get one thing straight with the team on this whole Trios deal because last time I was in the tournament, I didn't have a team with me and prepared the event with consistent fear of teaming with other people which is no longer a thing with me because of Dakon and Ludvig technically. So, preparing for the Trios Tournament would undoubtedly be different, and I needed to set things straight with them. So I told them I'd meet at their house today to talk about it.
Mostly because I know if I don't and they see me work well with my partners, they'll doubt my leadership and role on the team. So I rang the doorbell after I went straight from my home in Atlanta to wait outside to be let in, and Ludvig came to the door, embraced me in a hug, and said this.
Ludvig Eriksson: "You're always welcome to come and visit."
Konrad Raab: "I won't be long because I got business, both wrestling and racing, to tackle in New York, but this meeting was essential to do this morning."
Ludvig Eriksson: "Yes, Dakon told me."
I walked in, and it seemed there were always changes every time I entered their home. However, simultaneously, it was primarily because of Kemal that they had to make changes. So I removed my shoes and sat on the sofa, always respecting my team's home. I already saw Dakon, Ginny, and Kemal sitting down, and Ludvig was getting some orange juice for us all. After he sat down, I started going into the discussions.
Konrad Raab: "I got to tell you all about the Trios Tournament."
Dakon Theron: "Yeah, what's so special about it."
Konrad Raab: "A lot, and it has much to do with the assumption you all will most likely make afterwards. It needs to be discussed, especially because it would prepare you all for next year onwards with me and/or Kemal."
Of course, they were all looking confused, but it seems Ginny understood; well, she would because she's the only one who knows the ins and outs of why I've had to do certain things in wrestling at the moment, and they didn't know a damn thing. That's not important, and Ginny says this.
Ginny Raab: "I know what Konrad's going to talk about, and I'd listen if I were you."
Konrad Raab: "So here's the problem. In the Trios Tournament, for me to get the contract, I have to work with Waylon Creek and Yusa."
Dakon Theron: "What?"
Ludvig Eriksson: "But you're so committed to our team. You can't betray us."
I knew that would spark some heat, so I needed to discuss it. Thank god I had the common sense to address the situation with them. I sighed, knowing I'd rather have Dakon and Ludvig as my Trio partners for the tournament than Waylon and Yusa. Ginny nodded to understand the concerns, and even Kemal looked at me strangely for the same reasons as Dakon and Ludvig.
Ginny Raab: "Nothing will change in that department; everything will remain the same as Konrad, who is fully committed to bringing in European talent and scouting them. However, this is more for Konrad's career; it's the only way to get what he wants, which, to be honest, is something he needs in himself right now."
Konrad Raab: "Believe me, it sucks you guys weren't teaming with me, but Ginny's right. I can't go into the Trios Tournament and do everything myself; I have to align myself with these two idiots and do everything to secure a contract. I have to; it's how the Trios Tournament goes. I tried going for my own glory once, and it cost me. The goal is for me to get a contract, and I'm honestly doing it for myself, as hard as it is to say that."
Kemal Yilmaz: "I understand entirely, especially since you're retiring at the end of next year. Sometimes, you have to do what's best for you."
Kemal was starting to understand, as he would lead the team after I retired from full-time wrestling. Ginny nodded in agreement as we all took a sip of orange juice. I felt better when I had to discuss the situation with the team instead of throwing them in the fire with the shock of feeling I betrayed them by teaming with two random people.
Konrad Raab: "When the Trios is over, everything will go back to normal, and I won't have to team up with these idiots ever again. It's only so I can get this contract to work with those two to get it."
Ludvig Eriksson: "I understand you would cash it in for what I assume is a Title, but..........."
Konrad Raab: "That's a decision that I can only make along with teaming with two dimwits I have to battle myself with. But honestly, I feel much better that I got that in the open for you all to understand that I have to do this for myself and my career. But after Trios, we all go our separate ways and focus on being a team and bringing Kemal in as a wrestler and a part of our team officially in SCW."
Dakon Theron: "I understand now; you don't aim to be with Waylon or Yusa for the rest of your career, just for the tournament."
Dakon got it, and I didn't want to hide that I would have to commit that I couldn't betray Waylon and Yusa, but I didn't wish Dakon and Ludvig to feel I'd betrayed them, either. I think they've now gotten an idea of how the tournament works, and it was also good for them to know in the future, anyway, with Kemal going on his individual path as well.
Ginny Raab: "That's exactly right, so remember, the alliance Konrad will have with them is only for the tournament, and one of Konrad's problem-solving methods is to work with them, and we know the other problem-solving method he has to go through which as he said, it's on him to make."
Konrad Raab: "Do you understand Ludvig?"
Ludvig Eriksson: "I do. Go win that contract, and we'll be behind you and those two fools in getting the job done."
Konrad Raab: "I will also ask you both not to interrupt the match to help me win because I need to do this for myself. If I lose, it's because either I or the other two idiots are to blame. Anyway, I have to go and see you boys on Thursday."
I felt so much better now that I had that out in the open. I didn't want to hide the secret of me having to work with them and for Dakon and Ludvig, especially, to be suspicious about it. I drank all of the orange juice in the glass I left on the coffee table, walked to the door to put my shoes on, and headed straight to Atlanta airport to fly to New York for racing and wrestling business.

I love AJ Allmendinger and Louis Deletraz.
