Breakdown concluded and The British Bombshell did exactly what she set out to do; she defeated Ace Marshall, she even made him pass out to Shekhinah Glory. Unfortunately her accomplishment was not without controversy. Glory Braddock did all of that to Ace, but she did not see Dexter Grant blast him in the head with the championship belt, busting him wide open. The wound had given Braddock suspicions but it was the heat of the moment, she couldn’t think about anything else but the match. After it was over, after she saw exactly what happened, she was furious. She knew that she could have taken down Ace on her own. She new she could have made him tap out or pass out on her own, she did not need Dexter Grant’s help. Yet Dexter wanted to provide an insurance policy, not for Glory but for himself, to ensure that his title shot remained one on one. Thus Glory Braddock was robbed of a clean victory over someone the stature of Ace Marshall. Previously Dogfight in Dusseldorf was just about defending her championship against a good, albeit unusual, competitor in Dexter Grant. Now it is personal. Braddock is angry and wants to make him pay for involving himself in her match against Ace. This is no longer just a title defense for The British Bombshell; this is going to be a beating.
Dusseldorf will be a nice change of pace for The British Bombshell. She is European by birth, born and raised in London, England. She used to travel all over Europe with her father when he was an active wrestler on the European scene. Back then the European fans loved the Braddock wrestling name. Now she returns as her father’s heir, carrying the SCW Adrenaline Championship. She is excited about a European show and competing before the European fans. But first, before she makes the long trip overseas, she wants to settle down and relax with her husband Kurt, spend some much needed time with him where she feels safe. Safety is something she has had a hard time coming by lately, and it isn’t just due to Ace Marshall’s antics or Dexter Grant involving himself in her business. Braddock has had to deal with a stalker lately, someone who has gotten dangerously close to her and her family; close enough to know her address to send her gifts, close enough to her routines so they can snap pictures of her family, close enough that they can make creepy harassing phone calls to scare her and her family. She has done her best to put it all in the back of her mind. She knows that she cannot afford a distraction ahead of a title match. Still, it is hard to just ignore something like this. She can only hope that the authorities will resolve this soon so she can get on with her life.
The master bedroom of Glory and Kurt’s home in Miami, Florida is a luxurious and serene retreat for Glory Braddock and her husband Kurt Logan, featuring a spacious king-sized bed as its centerpiece. The bed is framed with a sleek, low-profile upholstered headboard in a soft gray fabric, adding a modern and understated elegance. The bedding consists of crisp white sheets layered with a plush duvet and several decorative throw pillows in muted tones of charcoal, beige, and deep blue, creating a harmonious and inviting color palette. Kurt currently finds himself lying on the bed, his glasses on, reading a book. The walls are painted in a soothing neutral shade. On either side of the bed are sleek, matching nightstands with a minimalist design, each topped with a stylish table lamp, Kurt’s is turned on so he can get a better look at the book he is reading. Opposite the bed, a modern low-profile dresser contains a mounted flat-screen TV. Above the dresser, there’s a strategically placed mirror that reflects natural light and enhances the room’s sense of spaciousness. The room features floor-to-ceiling windows dressed with sheer white curtains and blackout drapes.
“Kurt? Are you ready?”
“Hmmm?” Kurt just grunts, barely acknowledging his wife’s question. He is so engrossed in his reading that he doesn’t even notice she has entered the bedroom. Braddock clears her throat, loudly and obnoxiously, intending to get his attention. This time it works and he puts down his book and looks over at his wife standing in the doorway of the bedroom. Glory is wearing a satin slip dress in a dusty rose color. The dress features delicate lace detailing along the neckline, which adds an elegant and feminine touch. It has thin spaghetti straps and a smooth, flowing fabric that drapes gracefully over her figure, giving the outfit a luxurious and soft appearance. The hemline of the dress falls around her knees, complementing its sophisticated yet relaxed style. Instantly Kurt smiles. “Wow…”
“I figured this would get your head out of that bloody book.” Braddock says with a playful wink as she walks sensually over to the bed. She crawls into bed and plants a kiss on his lips.
“So…am I being rewarded for something?”
“No.” Glory shakes her head. “More of a going away present, if you will.”
“Oh yeah, you’re off to Europe tomorrow.”
“Dogfight in Dusseldorf is in a week. I figure since I’ll be in Europe anyway, I can stopover in London and see our daughter and check on her progress at my dad’s wrestling school. I can check on my sister and see how she is doing. Family is important to me, you know?”
“Of course it is. But…” Kurt sighs “...aren’t you worried?”
“Worried about what?”
“Don’t play naive, babe.” Kurt says in a very serious, grim voice. “You know exactly what I’m talking about…your stalker.”
“Oh…that…” Glory sighs as she gets off of Kurt and lays flat down on the bed, staring up at the ceiling in deep contemplation “...you know, I had almost pushed that crap out of my mind. Thanks.”
“Sorry, babe, but that is something you can’t just forget.”
“And I can’t afford to be distracted.” Glory snaps back as she sits up and folds her arms over her chest. “I could lose my Adrenaline Championship if I’m not careful.”
“You could lose a hell of a lot more than that.” Kurt says sternly. “What’s more important, a trinket or your family?”
“Point taken.” Glory remarks as she sighs. “So what? What do I do?”
“Not much you can do, unfortunately. You can’t exactly put your entire life on hold because of this. You shouldn’t let this creep dictate your life. Just live your life, go about your regular routine, and just, well…” he sighs “...just be careful.”
“Yeah, be careful.” Glory is growing frustrated. “That’s the only bit of advice I get nowadays. I am not taking the passive approach. I am taking an aggressive approach, mate.”
“Wonderful.” Kurt says, chuckling lightly. “Now I got you all wound up. And looking at you now, wearing THAT, I probably should’ve just kept my mouth shut and enjoyed myself.”
“Your fault.” Glory says with a smirk. “Now then, since I am ‘wound up’ as you put it, let’s brainstorm. Who do we know is an enemy of myself or my family? Who would want to hurt me?”
“The Alan Family is the obvious choice.”
“I’ve effectively ruled them out.” Glory says. “Matthew is in prison and his criminal ties have all abandoned him. So even if his sleazy sister Jennifer wanted to target me, she would have no way of doing so. And I do not believe their sister Aurora is capable of it.”
“What about Meagan Collins?” Kurt points out. “She was thrown under the bus when authorities were investigating your company’s shady business practices. She got in trouble for it. Spent brief time in prison and she is out now.”
“I suppose she is a potential suspect. I mean, Meagan cannot be trusted. But we hashed out our differences last year and honestly, she sounded sincere.”
“Van Stanton?” Kurt asks, throwing out the name of one of the Braddock family’s longest running rivals. Glory chuckles at the suggestion.
“Which one? Honestly, you could make a case for either. Henry’s son was murdered in a drive by shooting where my daughter was the real target. And Henry’s brother Mason has always had it out for me.”
“Maybe we should consider someone not so obvious?” Kurt asks. “Someone who is secretly pretending to be a friend or ally but actually has ulterior motives?”
“You’ve been watching too much True Crime.” Glory snickers. “But you raise a valid point. If these other avenues don’t pan out, maybe we could look into that?”
Kurt opens his mouth to respond but he is interrupted by the ringing of the phone. He and Glory exchange curious glances. Neither were expecting anyone to contact them this late in the evening. Then as the phone rings again they are reminded of the strange phone calls. Is the stalker reaching out again? The phone rings for a third time and Kurt decides to answer.
“Hello?” Glory remains completely silent as she watches Kurt listen in to whoever is on the other end. “Yes, that’s great news.” She lets out a sigh of relief; whoever is calling, whoever Kurt is talking to, is obviously not the stalker. “Yes, we can come over now.” She furrows her brow in confusion. “Thank you, officer.” And with that, Kurt hangs up the phone. He turns to look at Glory. A grin forms on his face.
“Officer?”
“Yeah,” Kurt nods his head “apparently they have him.”
“The stalker?”
“The very one.” Kurt smirks. “They just want us to come down to the station and see if we can identify him, see if we know this guy.”
The British Bombshell nods her head. Things certainly took an unexpected turn tonight but she isn’t complaining. What this means is that there is one less distraction in her life. She now knows who has been behind it all; or at least, she will know soon enough.

Glory and her husband Kurt are gathered outside in the hallway of the Miami police station. They didn’t bother dressing nice, they just threw on whatever they could find to come down. Glory is wearing a dark blazer over a navy shirt with the top buttons undone, tight form fitting denim jeans, and simple black flats. Kurt wears a dark shirt unbuttoned at the collar khaki pants, and sneakers. With them is a police detective, Detective Garrison, with short dark hair is neatly combed and wearing a dark suit and tie over a white shirt. The hallway itself is utilitarian, focused mostly on its functionality and not on comfort. As a result the walls are painted gray, along one side of the hallway is a large, one-way mirror that allows officers and detectives to observe what’s happening inside the interrogation room without being seen. The mirror spans almost the full length of the room. Inside the interrogation room itself is a disheveled young man with dirty brown hair, a forest green jacket, almost resembling an old army jacket, that has definitely seen its better days. He has a torn white t-shirt that has several grease stains all over the front. He is wearing black adidas wind pants and beat up sneakers. Glory and Kurt look at this suspect in the interrogation room with wide-eyed shock and surprise. They had many thoughts and theories as to who or what was behind this, but this particular individual does not match up to any of their theories.
“Meet Hubert Gaetz.” Detective Garrison says, motioning to the suspect in the interrogation room.
“Nice looking individual.” Kurt remarks sarcastically. “Who is he?”
“Well we know a few things but we were hoping you could tell us more.”
“I’ve never seen the bloke in my life.” Glory answers quickly. “You’re sure he’s the guy who has been sending those gifts, the phone calls, and that picture…?”
“Positive. He confessed to everything.”
“Could it have been a false confession?” Glory asks.
“No. His fingerprints matched up with fingerprints we found on those gifts you received, and that’s not everything. Trust me, Ms. Braddock, there’s plenty of evidence other than just his confession tying him to this.”
“Still it’s weird, don’t you think?” Kurt chimes in. “We have no idea who this guy is.”
“It baffles us too, Mr. Logan, but it happens more times than you think, especially with celebrities like your wife here.”
“I used to be a celebrity.” Kurt mutters under his breath. Glory elbows him sharply in the side.
“So he just stalked me because he’s a…” she shrugs her shoulders “...he’s a crazed fan?”
“That’s what we can gather.” Garrison remarks. “He was obsessed you, he claimed in his confession that he loved you. Those gifts were apparently his way of trying to win you over.”
“The sicko…” Glory growls “...pervert.”
“You’re honestly very lucky that we caught him when we did, Ms. Braddock. This little incident is not his first run in with the law.”
“What do you mean?” Glory asks. “What else did this twat do?”
“Stalking was his first crime, to be perfectly honest. He had been in and out of juvenile system for stalking girls in the community. Apparently either he stayed under the radar long enough for people to forget about him, or maybe no one ever did catch on to his past, because he actually convinced some poor woman to date him when he was in his early twenties. After they broke up he went beyond stalking and actually kidnapped her.”
“Bloody hell…” Glory’s voice is barely above a whisper. It is dawning on her now just how dangerous this guy is, and how she dodged a major bullet.
“He served his time, was a model prisoner, and got out early for good behavior. Obviously he didn’t learn his lesson because you were going to be his next target.”
“I can’t believe it.” Glory shakes her head. She is deeply troubled. Kurt hugs her tightly and then makes eye contact with Garrison.
“Thank you for catching him, detective.”
“Of course, Mr. Logan. That’s my job.” He motions to the waiting room. “If you could just return to the waiting room, I might need you and your wife to make a few more statements. Myself or one of the officers will come get you when we’re ready.”
Kurt nods his head and then guides Glory through the hall and out into the waiting room. It happens to be empty right now, which the couple are grateful for. Kurt guides Glory to a chair and she sits down. He sits down next to her. He looks lovingly at her and smiles.
“How are you holding up?”
“I just learned that a creep was likely planning to kidnap me.” Glory remarks frankly. “How do you think I’m holding up?”
“Dumb question, I suppose.” Kurt smirks.
“It’s ok. I forgive you.” Glory kisses him on the cheek. “Thanks for being there for me, love. I couldn’t have survived this without your strength.”
“Like the man said, I’m just doing my job.”
“I’m just glad this is all over.” Glory sighs deeply.
“Are you sure?” Kurt says after a brief pause. His voice is tinged with uncertainty. Glory turns and looks at him, furrowing her brow with confusion.
“What do you mean?” She asks curiously. “You heard the man. They have a full confession AND they have evidence tying him to the stalking. This is an open and shut case, love. Hubert Gaetz is the creep who has been stalking me. He is in police custody now. And unless he has a damn good attorney…which based on his lousy attire I seriously doubt he can afford one…then he is going to be spending some serious time in prison. It’s over, Kurt.”
“I dunno.” He shakes his head. “There’s something about this that bothers me.”
“What?”
“He bought you TWO very expensive gifts, both of them included some seriously expensive diamonds. You said yourself…does he look like the kind of guy who can afford diamond necklaces or any of that stuff?”
“He’s a criminal, love. He probably did what all criminals do…he either stole it or robbed a convenience store to get the money to buy it. Simple as that.”
“Maybe you’re right.” Kurt shrugs his shoulders. “I mean, all the evidence does point to him…”
“Kurt, I know I’m right.” She smirks. “Remember, you’re the one who watches too much True Crime. Not everything in the world is a multi-layered conspiracy. Sometimes it really is as simple as that loser did something stupidly dangerous and got caught.”
“Good.” Kurt wraps his arm around her shoulders. “Now that means you an go to Germany with a clear head, no distractions, and defend that championship of yours.”
“Precisely. Dexter Grant is dangerous but he’s not unbeatable. I know I can beat him, Kurt. He has some impressive wins under his belt but he hasn’t faced me, he hasn’t faced the best in the world. In Dusseldorf he will get the biggest test of his SCW career.”
“Could be good for the guy’s crusade.” Kurt chuckles. “He has the biggest stage in the world to talk about how social media, the internet, and the other crap is bad.”
“Like he’ll get a chance to spread his insane ranting and ravings.” Braddock shakes her head. “You can’t preach when you’re unconscious and I plan to choke him out in front of everyone in Dusseldorf.”

It’s after hours at the Braddock Wrestling School, which Glory is thankful for. It gives her time not only to prepare for her upcoming Adrenaline Title defense in Dusseldorf, but it also gives her time to bond with her younger sister Julia, who she is visiting with during her European stay. The setting of the Braddock Wrestling School has high ceilings and plenty of natural light filtering in through large rectangular windows. A regulation size professional wrestling ring stands prominently in the background. The ring is raised slightly off the ground, framed by taut ropes wrapped in black and pink padding, giving it a professional yet approachable feel. The mat inside the ring is smooth and covered in dark fabric, hinting at frequent use but well-maintained. The walls in the background are painted a light neutral color, and the space feels open and airy.
In the foreground, two women stand side by side; Glory Braddock and her sister Julia Braddock. Glory wears a matching navy blue and pink sports outfit consisting of a crop top and high-waisted leggings. The crop top is form-fitting and sleeveless, with white piping along the edges that highlights its sporty design. The leggings feature a bold color-blocking style, with navy blue panels on the outside and bright magenta running down the inner legs, separated by a narrow strip of white. The fabric of her outfit hugs her toned frame, emphasizing her athletic build, and she stands comfortably, exuding an easygoing charm. Her blond hair is pulled back into a casual ponytail. On her feet, she wears simple sneakers. Her sister Julia wears a fitted ivory long-sleeve top that molds to her figure, tucked neatly into a black pencil skirt that falls just above her knees. The skirt is tailored to perfection, accentuating her professional and sophisticated demeanor. Her blond hair is worn loose, cascading over her shoulders in soft waves, adding a touch of elegance to her appearance. She pairs her outfit with classic black high heels, the pointed toes and sleek design enhancing her poised stance.
The British Bombshell has just finished stretching, squats, push ups, and other various exercises. It may be after hours but she is going to put in as much time in the gym as she can a.head of Dogfight in Dusseldorf. Julia Braddock, her at times more arrogant younger sister, is even impressed with her intensity, even though she won’t admit it. Instead, Julia keeps the conversation light.
“I’m really glad you came to see me, Gloria.”
“SCW is hosting a show in Germany. I’m defending my Adrenaline Title there.” Glory looks up at her smirks. “What kind of a sister would I be if I were traveling to Europe and DIDN’T stop by to speak to my baby sister?”
“You would be an awful sister.”
“So no difference?” Glory chuckles.
“You said it, not me!”
“What can I say? I’m honest.” Glory grabs a nearby towel as she stands up. She wipes the sweat from her face. “So, how is Dawnie doing?”
“Dawn is spectacular!” Julie beams. “She is taking to the business like a fish to water. She is a natural.”
“I’m not surprised one bit. How are you two getting along?”
“Beautifully.” Julia answers quickly. “She loves it here and she is quite the classy little lady.”
“Again, I am not surprised.” Glory points at Julia. “My daughter has more in common with you than she does me, you know that?”
“You can’t fault the girl for enjoying class and the finer things in life.”
“No, I suppose not.” She shakes her head. “I’m going to run the ropes some more…” Glory looks over at Julia “...wanna join me?”
“Run the ropes? In these heels?”
“You could spar.” Glory winks. “Take the shoes off, sis. Show me what you got.”
“Sorry, Gloria, but I love this skirt an this top, and I am not ruining them just to fight you.”
“Put on your gear.”
“I didn’t bring my gear.” Julia snickers and points a finger at her older sibling. “Unlike you, I do not eat, sleep, and breathe wrestling.”
“Suit yourself.” Glory shrugs her shoulders. She approaches the ring and sits down on the edge of the ring apron. “Still, I have more training to do. I have a title defense in Germany to prepare for and I am NOT going to let that creep Dexter beat me.”
“Speaking of creeps, what about your stalker?” Julia asks, joining her sister by sitting next to her on the edge of the ring apron.
“I’d rather not talk about it.”
“Gloria, you know I can be a pain in the ass, but I think I’m owed.” Julia remarks. “This situation regarding you and this stalker impacted not just you but the entire family. They got close to you, they could’ve gotten close to all of us, myself included.”
“You have no idea how close he got.” Glory remarks, rolling her eyes.
“Then tell me.”
“Fine.” The older Braddock sighs and looks into Julia’s eyes. “His name is Hubert Gaetz.”
“Who?”
“That’s was my reaction too.” She chuckles. “Kurt and I had no idea who the bloke was. Turns out he was just some creep who has a history of finding girls he likes, stalking them, and kidnapping them if need be.”
“Damn. And he had no connection to you whatsoever?” Julia asks. Glory shakes her head.
“None. He was just a…well…” her voice trails off. Julia smirks knowingly.
“He was an obsessed fan?”
“Yes, I suppose he was.”
“I knew it!” Julia excitedly declares. She quickly realizes how bad that sounded and covers her mouth. “Oops, sorry…”
“You’re forgiven.”
“But still…I did tell you that it was likely some crazed fan, didn’t I? That was my theory from the very beginning.”
“Ok, ok, I get it.” Glory rolls her eyes. “You were right, I was wrong. Happy now?”
“I’m fabulous.” Julia snickers. “Anytime you say those magic words…Julia was right…that makes me happy.”
“Julia was right.”
“Music to my ears!” Julia laughs. She then hops up off of the ring apron. “Anyway, as much as I would love to stay and rub it in some more, I have things to do. Like make Dawn and my adopted daughter Serena are not getting into any trouble.”
“Knowing those two they likely are.” Glory snickers. “You better hurry.”
“I will.” Julia motions for Glory to stand up. Glory stands up and the sisters embrace in a warm hug. “Take care of yourself, Gloria. And be more careful next time. Your baby sister won’t always be here to protect you.” She winks playfully.
“Right.”
Glory watches as Julia walks away, Julia’s heels echoing on the concrete floor as she goes along. The British Bombshell then turns her attention to a heavy bag over in a corner. Braddock starts laying into the bag with rights, lefts, and kicks, all to prepare herself for the upcoming title match in Dusseldorf. As she punches and kicks away at the heavy bag, Braddock hears the approach of high heels across the concrete floor, this time coming closer to her. Glory smirks.
“Julia, sis, did you forget something?” She stops punching at the bag. She turns around expecting to find her sister standing there. Instead she finds her longtime best friend Sophie O’Brian standing there. The Northern Irish woman is wearing a tailored black blazer with structured shoulders, sheer black polka-dot stockings with a lace top add a subtle, feminine detail that contrasts beautifully with the sharpness of the blazer. She completes the outfit with black pointed-toe stiletto heels. Her blonde hair is styled in a neat, high bun with a few loose strands framing her face.
“Not quite who you were expecting?”
“Uh, not really, no.” Glory smiles. “How did you get in?”
“You gave my brother a key, remember?” She winks. “He is one of the trainers here at your late father’s wrestling academy.”
“Of course.” Glory laughs. “I feel like an idiot, I should have known that.”
“It is quite alright, Gloria. You are entitled to being a little…off, considering everything you have been through.” She motions for Glory to come forward. “Come, give me a hug. It has been too long.”
Glory approaches and hugs Sophie. It is a tight embrace, very warm. Perhaps too warm? Sophie’s hands start to go a little south towards her buttock. Glory feels uncomfortable and pushes her away. Sophie smirks knowingly.
“Something wrong, love?”
“Uh, nothing.” Glory insists. “Nothing at all.”
“Good.” Sophie answers. “Because I would never want to upset you, Gloria. You know that? You are my closest, nearest, dearest friend.”
“Right…thanks, Sophie.” Glory says uneasily. “Now if you’ll excuse me, I really should…”
“Did you enjoy the gifts I sent you?” The question comes out of nowhere. Glory is startled by it and turns to look sharply at Sophie.
“What did you say?”
“Did you enjoy the gifts?” She chuckles. “I really hope you enjoyed that diamond necklace. It was quite expensive.”
“You…” Glory takes a step back and points a finger at Sophie “...you sent the diamond necklace?”
“All of it.” Sophie nods her head. “Well…technically Mr. Gaetz did all of it on my behalf. But I gave him the money to purchase the gifts, I gave him your number so he could give you those lovely phone calls, and I gave him your address so he could take that lovely picture.” Sophie sighs. “The poor sap took the fall for it. It is a shame.” Glory walks up to Sophie and punches her in the face, knocking her to the ground.
“You have done some pretty sick and twisted things! But this really takes the cake, Sophie! Have you lost your damn mind?! You crossed the line from being creepy to being criminal!”
“And what are you going to do about it, Gloria?” Sophie laughs as she pushes herself back up. “Call the police?”
“I might.”
“You can’t prove anything.” Sophie says tauntingly. “Sure, it would be a minor inconvenience for me but I wouldn’t get into trouble. The police have their man…at least who they think is their man…and I am sure they will be happy to close the book on that nuisance of a case.”
“What…” Glory’s voice trails off as she stares into the evil eyes of a woman she thought was her best friend “...what do you want?”
“Oh my dear, Gloria. I have obtained many prizes in my time. But there is one prize that I have always craved but has always eluded me.” She approaches Glory and kisses her on the cheek. “You.”
“Me?!”
“You are that one grand prize that I need for my trophy case and trust me, my dear, I will have you, one way or another.”
Sophie turns and walks off. Glory watches her in horror. She thought it was over a few days ago when Hubert Gaetz was arrested by Miami Police. But now she realizes that her nightmare has only just begun.

The room was bathed in soft, natural light filtering through tall, sheer curtains. The afternoon sun cast a gentle glow on the beige walls, highlighting the subtle texture of the paint and adding warmth to the inviting space. The room was impeccably tidy, with every element seemingly chosen to evoke both comfort and sophistication. The sofa, a plush three-seater upholstered in neutral beige fabric, sat at the center of the room. A glass coffee table stood in front of the sofa, its smooth surface gleaming faintly. Seated on the sofa was the SCW Adrenaline Champion Glory Braddock. The British Bombshell was wearing a royal purple dress that hugged her form with a tailored precision that emphasized her slim waist and elongated her figure. Its long sleeves ended just above her wrists, and the hemline, modest yet contemporary, stopped a few inches above her knees. Her legs, crossed with deliberate grace, were sheathed in sheer black pantyhose. Her feet were adorned with sleek black patent leather heels. The face of the reigning Adrenaline Champion was a picture of confidence. Framed by soft, blonde hair that fell just past her shoulders, her features were relaxed, her lips curved into a faint smile. Resting next to her on the sofa is her SCW Adrenaline Championship title belt, the prize that she will be defending at Dogfight in Dusseldorf against Dexter Grant.
“Ever since I became Adrenaline Champion at Under Attack, it had been my goal to be a fighting champion. I wanted to take on all comers. If you wanted to take a shot at the Best in the World then feel free, take your shot, but you best not miss, because I always will be at the top of my game. Just ask The Magical Cosmic Princess; I put her down. Ask Clyde Sutter, who despite his bragging and boasting about beating my ass, I still pinned him to retain this championship. And ask Ace Marshall. He stepped up to the plate because he thought he was better than me, he thought he could beat me and win his way to a shot at my Adrenaline Championship. But I knew better. I knew I could take Ace Marshall and choke him out like I have choked out so many others with Shekhinah Glory.” The British Bombshell shakes her head.
“Ah but unfortunately it didn’t work out quite the way I had hoped. Sure, I suppose I did pick up the win over Ace. And yes, I did technically choke him out with my Shekhinah Glory. But the one big problem with what happened on Breakdown is Dexter Grant. The same little nuisance who won’t shut his damn mouth about the evils of social media, the dangers of putting yourself out there for the world to see. The self-righteous prick who preaches endlessly but fails to realize that not one single person gives a damn about him or his stupid little crusade.” She smirks.
“You know, Dexter, I could poke so many holes through that little pamphlet of yours. Disconnect? Really? How is disconnecting from the world going to help you…YOU…when you are a professional wrestler! You ARE putting yourself out there whether you like it or not! Sure, take solace knowing that you don’t have a Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Instagram accounts. No one can track you through social media because you don’t have any but my God, Dexter, you are a professional wrestler who shows up to work on a worldwide television program to compete in front of thousands upon thousands each and every week. You really put your name on the map by defeating a legend like Rayne Young. You further put your name out there by earning a shot at this Adrenaline Championship. You want to disconnect to stay off the grid? You are doing a piss poor job of it.” The British Bombshell chuckles softly.
“The funny thing about all of this, about your stupid little crusade, is that for awhile I almost saw some logic behind the nonsense that you were spewing. I turn on my social media profile and I see people claiming to be wrestlers posting pictures of themselves in their damn underwear with little to no mention about their upcoming matches and I cannot help but ask myself, are they trying to hype their upcoming schedule of wrestling matches or are they trying to gain new followers for their OnlyFans account? So yes, to an extent I saw some logic behind your ranting and raving. After all, at the end of the day this is professional wrestling and the name of the game is WINNING…and you win by pinning your opponent’s shoulders to the mat or making them submit. For seventeen years my primary focus has not been on getting likes or retweets or any of that garbage. My focus has been on being the Best in the World at professional wrestling and I have the hardware to prove that I have succeeded.” Braddock pats the Adrenaline title belts that rests next to her.
“Your problem is that you are distracted. You are letting your crusade become your priority and not your career of professional wrestling. Tell me, Dexter, at the end of the day if you manage to convince a few dozen idiots to buy into your drivel but it comes at the expense of never having a successful wrestling career, then what exactly have you gained? You can disconnect from the world wide web all you want but you still have to pay the bills and as a professional wrestler winning matches and winning championships is what pays the bills. Convincing people to drink your kool-aid doesn’t pay any bills. But you are focused primarily on the crusade and not on the wrestling. You have been lucky so far to have survived without that distraction costing you a match. You have been lucky that your lackey has saved your ass on more than one occasion.” Glory shakes her head.
“But your luck has run out, Dexter. For starters you are facing me, The British Bombshell, a second generation wrestler with seventeen years of in ring experience. Bring your little errand boy and anyone else who buys into the nonsense you’re selling, I’ll whip their assess and yours. It won’t matter because I have been around this business all my life and I have seen every dirty trick in the book. Nothing surprises me and I am prepared for all of it. And on top of that, as of that wasn’t enough, you went and pissed me off. This was just going to be a normal title defense. Sure, my opponent…you…might be a little crazy and unhinged but the end game is still the same; I need to retain my Adrenaline Championship. It was nothing personal, it was just business.” She points a finger at the camera.
“You made it personal, Dexter. See, I take pride in what I do. I take pride in being the best wrestler in the world today. Defeating someone like Ace Marshall…as unorthodox and, frankly, as annoying as he may be…he is a former world champion, he has achieved a great deal in SCW. Defeating him clean would have been one hell of a feather in my cap. It would have been something I would have been very proud of. But you robbed me of that. Sure, it will go down in the record books as a submission victory for me over Ace, but I know deep down in my heart and soul you set him up. You busted him wide open with that shot to the head. I could have tapped him out on my own but you stole that from me. So now what was just business has now become very much personal. I am not going into this match simply to defend my title. I am going in with the intention of teaching you a lesson that you will never forget. I am going into this match with a goal and that goal is to shut your damn mouth.” Glory Braddock picks up her title belt and holds it up in the air.
“See this? Get a good long look because you will never take this from me. You are not going to use this as a mere prop to help your silly little cause. Your days of using SCW as a platform to preach to the masses about your nonsense is over because you went and pissed off the wrong bitch and now I am going to choke you unconscious in front of the whole damn world.” She shuts her eyes. “Sic Semper Tyrannis.”
