Lane Forte (EOTY Invitational only)
#1
*This is a character that, for the time being, is only going to be here for the Open Invitational match. I might consider bringing her back in the future or giving her a try down in Emerge... just something I thought might be fun to do to help kind of expand a tiny bit on the family of Aaron Blackbourne's girlfriend Liane and how they may play roles in his CDs (and hers if she ever ends up competing again) down the line.

PERSONAL INFORMATION
-----------------------------------

Name: Lane Forte
Pic Base: Keira Knightley (short hair)
Height: 5’4”
Weight: 135 lbs.
Birthdate: July 11, 1995
Birth Place: Royal Oak, Michigan
Current Residence: Royal Oak, Michigan

Physical Description: Lane is Caucasian with short brown hair (a preference to avoid having to tie it up whenever she does anything athletic) and blue eyes as well as a few freckles on her cheeks. She doesn’t come off as curvy as her sister Liane, instead having a more athletic build that’s not overly ripped for a female, but makes it clear she’s not one to easily be pushed around. In the ring she wears a women’s wrestling singlet (EXAMPLE) with two white lines going down the sides and a big white number 1 on both the front and back as well as black and white wrestling shoes and a red sweatband around her forehead. Usually outside the ring she can be found wearing sports shorts as well as some kind of sports jersey of hers, regardless of the sport it comes from.

WRESTLING INFORMATION
-------------------------------------------------
Wrestling Style: All-Around (Tends to focus a bit more on lucha libre inspired moves as that’s her favorite style of wrestling to watch and practice, but she’s very much capable of wrestling just about any style out there, including a surprising power style for someone her size.)
Alignment (Face/Tweener/Heel): Tweener w/ Face Leanings (Lane certainly means well, and some cheers can be expected just for being Liane’s sister, but she can also get a bit aggressive and arrogant owing to how long she spent as her high school’s biggest sports star)
Years Pro: 0 (Hard to tell, though, since she’s not only been training for a long time but was also a standout on her high school’s wrestling team along with every barrier she broke doing so in the process and she’s been watching countless different kinds of wrestling for most of her life)
Theme Song: “Sirius” by The Alan Parsons Project

Finishers: Lanesanity
Finishers Descriptions (If Needed): Gory Special transitioned into a Reverse STO aka Brian Cage’s Weapon X
Signature Moves: Moonsault Slam, Jumping Cutter, Tiger Bomb
Signature Moves Descriptions (If Needed):

Common Moves:
- Camel Clutch
- Elbow Drop (both standing and diving from the top rope)
- Fujiwara Armbar
- Diving Crossbody
- Soccer Kick to the chest of a seated opponent
- Powerslam
- German Suplex
- Spear
- Jumping Back Elbow to a cornered opponent
- Fallaway Slam

Strengths:
+ Given that she’s a natural born athlete and didn’t hesitate to get into weightlifting at an early age to prepare herself for the countless sports endeavors she wanted to do, Lane is immensely stronger and faster than one might give her credit for based on her size. One could look at her as a female Cesaro, able to lift athletes that simply dwarf her in height and weight without breaking much of a sweat. She’s also able to keep up with athletes whose speed is their greatest asset with relatively little effort.
+ Because of the extensive amount of wrestling Lane’s both watched and practiced (often on her siblings) since childhood combined with her natural athleticism, she’s arguably one of the most balanced wrestlers to ever set foot in a ring. She can compete with any style at any level, and this often makes her a bit difficult to truly prepare for.

Weaknesses:
- One thing that’s always been a bit of a burden on Lane is the belief that she always has to be the best, bar none. It doesn’t matter if she’s up against a fierce rival or friendly competition, she will always go above and beyond to get the win. Not only can this backfire on her if she accidentally goes too far (not by means of rule-breaking as she’s very big on sticking to the rules at hand, but usually she might get a little too aggressive for her own good at times to reclaim the advantage), but she takes losing hard. She’s not exactly a graceful loser and any loss tends to shake her confidence quite a bit, which can hinder future performances.
- Because of the above-mentioned desire to always be the best, sometimes Lane can have a bad habit of getting a little self-centered in matches where she’s part of a team, always wanting to be the one to get the most in-ring time and score that winning fall. This can easily cause tension with teammates and even outright allow her to be easily exploited when she truly needs to tag out of a match.

Entrance:
The iconic opening of “Sirius” by The Alan Parsons Project begins to pump out over the PA system as a small display of laser lights creates the ring on the dimmed stage where, after a few moments, we see a figure walk into the center, hands rubbing together in anticipation. As the lights come back on, the pumped look of Lane Forte greets the fans as she begins jogging down the ramp, ready for the battle ahead. She slaps a few hands on the way down, but her focus and intensity is solely on the ring as she slides in under the bottom rope and quickly pops back to her feet, where she begins doing some light stretches to ensure she’s good to go.

Biography:
Born in Royal Oak, Michigan as the fifth child in a family that would ultimately total eleven kids, Lane Forte could just feel that she was destined for great things even at a young age. She found her calling in life early after becoming interested by all the different sports she found flipping through TV channels, and as she grew older and began to realize she might be the most athletically-gifted out of her numerous siblings, she made it her personal mission to become the absolute best at every sport she could play in, even if it meant kicking in a few doors in the process just because she was a girl. Baseball, football, roller derby, hockey, soccer, basketball… if it was legally defined as a sport somewhere in the world, you could guarantee she would find a way to both play it and master it without hesitation.

Perhaps the biggest downside to this, though, was that Lane developed a bit of an ego by the time she got to high school, and while she would ultimately graduate as arguably the single greatest sports player they’ve ever seen, many people -- especially her siblings -- weren’t too fond of her overly competitive nature in just about anything they tried to do together, nor her need to brag about how she would easily dominate them all no matter what they did because she was the best. She does deeply care for them and others, but it’s hard to notice at times beneath the competitive sports junkie she’s ultimately become.

Lane is one of the few Forte siblings that’s still at home despite being old enough to live her own life, choosing to stay local for her college endeavors because she refuses to be too far away just yet from the place where she’s seen as a sports megastar, especially since she’s become the sibling her parents have the highest praise for after several others have long since left following issues with their ways. It was from her love of watching wrestling (and a bit of a shocking heads-up from two of her older sisters) that she found Supreme Championship Wrestling… more specifically, the fact that her immediate older sister Liane, who’d long since been labeled the proverbial “black sheep” of their family by their parents, had broken into one of her dream sports ventures, albeit not entirely of her own volition, during the feud where she and her boyfriend, artist and pro wrestler Aaron Blackbourne, were contending with the tag team known as the Red Empire. Out of a mixture of envy that a sibling that wasn’t as sports-loving as she was and her deeply buried sisterly instincts at seeing some of the things Liane had to endure throughout this entire feud alongside her boyfriend, she decided to take advantage of SCW’s annual Open Invitational match taking place at their End of the Year Special to start making her own mark in the business, and maybe even show her older sister a thing or two for the future as well.
