Breakdown quick results - March 6, 2019
#1
QUICK NOTE: This is more just focusing on segments that would have some immediate effect on a match at the ppv. So if you're not mentioned, unless you're like Chris Cannon, you probably were there. I just wanted to make sure I get something up in between lecture writing and packing. Sorry again for having to give a quick result version like this. Here's hoping Retribution ges us back on track.

Breakdown opens with Syren in the ring, talking about all the good that has happened since Katya was in charge. She got her well-deserved opportunity. People’s lives had changed. And across the ring from her at Retribution will be three teams that will look to do nothing more than serve themselves or to go back to the old, bad ways of doing things. Syren says she, Dark Fantasy, Marie and…Kim, will make sure that SCW can progress with respect for its greatest instead of continuing the old ways of holding people back.

COMMERCIALS

Discussion about Donovan Kayl’s retirement and what that could mean post-Retribution by the announcers.

Alistaire Allocco vs. Kimberly Williams

Alistaire Allocco wins when Kim Williams openly cheats repeatedly throughout the match to get him riled up before the referee disqualifies her

After the match, Kellen Jeffries appears backstage, mocking Alistaire, rubbing his jaw before holding his hand up and showing a pair of brass knuckles. “I mean…I could just throw out the rules too…You wouldn’t want that?”

COMMERCIALS

Andrew, Bree, Ikiro and Sienna have a hype session, laughing at Syren’s earlier talk.

Casterillo vs. Glory Braddock

Glory Braddock defeats Casterillo via countout when Casterillo part-way through, having hit a couple of his moves and then being countered by Glory, decided his input was sufficient and walked to the back.

Regan Street cuts a promo about what will happen if she has to face Sienna or Bree. She says she’ll do what she needs to do. Kennedy, also interviewed in the scene, says worst case, she’ll take care of Sienna. She has knockout to return to her.

COMMERCIALS

Ravyn Taylor meets with Kim backstage in a tense back and forth. Kim finally reveals outright that she thinks Dark Fantasy is using her sister and frankly don’t care about anyone but themselves, Katya included. But while she’ll keep telling Marie that, Marie is the one she’s following. So they need to make sure Marie is on board. Or do they think they can win with Dark Fantasy, an annoyed monster in Xander and a senior citizen?

Sam Raine vs. Alexis Quinne

Alexis Quinne beats Sam Raine via pinfall after a back and forth match. Dawn Lohan watches the match from ringside.

COMMERCIALS

Damian Angel, James Evans and Angelica Jones talk backstage. James and Damian are less certain of their partnership. Damian assures them he is firmly with the Wonderland. Gio has opened his eyes and they need someone who will have no problem going after the entire family, Sasha or Katya. Giovanni arrives, smiling, “The Lizard Kingdom will finally fall.”

Christy Matthews comes out and cuts a promo about Cassidy Carter, comparing her to her daughter, in only one way…she also cries and makes noise to get attention. She’s a baby though. Cassidy meanwhile thinks that running around, getting drunk and pretending that life is one giant frat party. This is not someone who should be holding gold, which seems to be Cassidy’s big problem. Well Christy can fix that come Retribution by just removing all doubt that Christy should get the opportunities, not Cassidy.

Jack Parker talks up LEO backstage as LEO can be seen doing some sparring. Parker talks him up noting the Executioner will be executed for his turning his back on the Network.

COMMERCIALS

Ravyn Taylor meets with Marie. CHBK is there too. They point out to Marie what has happened. Marie notes Kim’s issues, and she respect them, but Katya has indeed been good to her. She’ll grant them that. And that future, that opportunity is going to guide her at Retribution.

Aaron Blackbourne vs. Max Kane

Aaron Blackbourne defeats Max Kane via pinfall after hitting the Unchained Creativity.

Abigail Lindsay cuts a backstage promo about Ravyn Taylor and how she’s disappointed Ravyn keeps dodging her. So she’ll enjoy taking out Ravyn lite, Ruby Amarant. May as well keep her skills sharp.

COMMERCIALS

Tommy cuts a promo about how Aaron Blackbourne has a good future, but he tried to go after Katie and him, in a way to clearly get some spotlight, when two former World Champions are going to teach him a wrestling lesson and don’t worry, Tommy’s going to come out on top.

Konrad Raab vs. Manvel
SCW Television Championship

Konrad Raab shows a more aggressive style in preparation for his match against Casterillo and defeats Manvel to become the new SCW Television Champion.

After the match, Derek Adonis mocks Manvel by pointing out there’s a new KABLAMLabs product, the KABLAMassager, part of the new MAN Mountain line. Good for when you can’t get it done yourself. Places one by the tunnel for Manvel.

COMMERCIALS

Manvel walks past the “gift” before Sammy Thomas Davies walks over and takes it before heading off.

Blake Mason cuts a promo about how tonight he and Chris were supposed to be in the ring, face to face to clear the air before they do it in the ring. Chris isn’t here and there’s a family emergency and Blake, he’s just hoping it’s not the worst. Blake pauses before looking around and noting he’s thought about what Mr. D said and that Retribution is an end of an era for a lot of things. For SCW, but also for them, closure will be there and just as Chris plans to be at the best, something Blake hopes will still be the case, despite the emergency, Blake will be too as anything less would be a slap in the face of Chris. He ends adding “I hope its all worth it.”

Peyton Rice cuts a promo about how there is only one Kelcey Wallace and Scarlet Grey is trying to do whatever she can to get in her head and Chris Cannon’s. It’s not going to work. All that’s going to happen is that Scarlet has given Peyton plenty of motivation to show Scarlet that she’s not learned from 2018 and 2019 won’t be followed with some success.
