“Supreme Championship Wrestling…”

A shot of Kelcey Wallace nailing Bree Lancaster with the Perfect Ending, followed by a shot of Steve Griffin hitting the Decimator off the top rope on CHBK at the first Rise to Greatness, before turning a shot of Jake Starr pumping up the crowd on his way to the ring, before turning into a shot of Ravyn Taylor sitting in the corner, waiting for the start of a match. We then see a shot of Katie Steward holding the Women’s Championship before cutting to a shot of Selena Frost hitting Vixen Cain with the Defying Gravity at Supreme Saturday: Just Desserts.

“The leading force in sports and entertainment today….”

Introduction
The screen goes black. The crackling of fire is heard before being overtaken by loud horns and war drums. The screen brightens by fire, to reveal the base of a trophy. The camera begins to tilt upwards slowly, traveling across the bronze surface, engraved with patterns.

“The call has been made. May the finest in the World converge…”

An empty ring is shown briefly on the bottom half of the screen. The roar of the crowd begins to join in with the war drums and horns. Scenes begins to populate around the trophy.

“Legends return!”

A quick shot of David Helms delivering the New Jersey Neckbreaker on an unseen opponent, with the announcer’s exclaim. Shilo Valiant is seen laughing from a dark room. Josh Hudson hosting up the SCW World Championship belt over his head as a downed wrestler is shown at his feet.

“Stars collide!”

Lucas Knight is leaning over ropes, pointing at the camera. Katie Steward executed the Unprettier. Shaun Cruze stepping back and then drilling an opponent with the Morality. Thirteen lifts a faceless opponent with the Broken Wings and drops him on the head.

“All around the world they come forward!”

A rapid fire shot of others is shown including unfamiliar faces, hitting as insane moves as others. Even some of the more popular wrestlers outside SCW is given screen time but at this point, everything fades back to the trophy. The camera has reached the summit. A bronze wrestler is posing, his arms flexed and his hands holding up a miniature world.

“24 go to war for the right to be remembered as God of Wrestling!”

At that point, flames eat away at the screen to leave behind words, written in text looking like smoldering embers.

“SCW and Infamously Dangerous Rum presents God of Wrestling 2019 tournament.”

The cameras cut over the arena to show the Indiana Farmers Coliseum.  A stage featuring a huge fist thrusting over the curtains at the entrance stage is shown. On the far edge of the stage is a cage, in it is the 2019 God of Wrestling trophy.

Jessica Winters: “Welcome, ladies and gentlemen… the 2019 God of Wrestling tournament. I am Jessica Winters and I’m joined by….

Adam Allocco: “Adam Allocco. Wrestling’s Enlightenment. A gift that keeps giving. Yadda yadda, let’s just remember I’m awesome.

Jessica Winters: “It has been seven years since this tournament has been last held.

Adam Allocco: “It’s an Allocco family tradition. Each tournament saw some of the world’s finest compete for bragging rights. And here we are, bringing you the fourth God of Wrestling tournament in history.

Jessica Winters: “A lot of top names has thrown their hat, some coming out of retirement to give it one last go.

Adam Allocco: “This tournament makes stars, that is without a doubt the truth. Shorty Jr… Christy Matthews… they have won and went onto to do some amazing things. But then you attract a different crop of entrants, the titans of the industry, seeking out one last conquest. Shilo Valiant is an example, the 2012 God of Wrestling, and he has returned by the way, to deny everyone that thrill.

Jessica Winters: “Before we go on any further, let’s thank Twitch.tv for sponsoring this event. And also, David Helms’ and Lucas Knight’s Infamously Famous spiced rum.

The cameras switches to a shot of a display table at ringside, zooms on the rum’s label.

Jessica Winters: “Now let’s take a look at the bracket before us. An odd format, 24 competitors.

Adam Allocco: “I decided from the number of entrants, I couldn’t dwindle down the pool to sixteen names. So I decided to get creative and for the semi-finals, a triple threat match will determine who gets a spot in the finals at SCW Under Attack.

An image of the bracket is shown.

Jessica Winters: “A lot of former SCW World Champions are shown. Josh Hudson, Shaun Cruze, David Helms, Selena Frost, just to name a few.

Adam Allocco: “But a lot of hungry, young stars who have been tearing up the independents. This is there chance to get global attention. If Eli Goddard from EMERGE or Jake Raab from Sin City Wrestling manage to pull off the upset, people will be buzzing about it for weeks to come.

Jessica Winters: “We’re casting live from Twitch.tv. A lot of people are already flooding the chat room.

Adam Allocco: “We have a long night ahead of us of great wrestling. Twelve matches. Everyone must have a sole winner.

Jessica Winters: “We’re moments away from the start of the tournament. Backstage cameras are rolling, and earlier today, we’re captured this footage that might give us a better insight behind Victor Mason who drew a very tough first round opponent.

Adam Allocco: “I’m surprised we don’t already have people crying on our Twitch streams about privacy laws. Don’t worry people, there are monkeys in a van making sure now unintentional genital is shown on the screen.

Jessica Winters: “With that warning, backstage, we’ll see what happened earlier this evening.”

Backstage
The scene opens backstage, Victor Mason is not in a locker room, he is in the hallway taping up his hands for his upcoming battle with David Helms later on. Fully taped, he tosses the tape he was using off to the side. He gets down to a knee, bows his head, cups his hands. His lips move, the mic can’t pick up on what he is saying. Done with whatever he was muttering he stands up. The moment he opens his eyes, he is taken aback. A smile forms on his face.

???: “It’s not every day you get a Modern Day God in the flesh!

The camera zooms out to show the familiar voice belongs to Victor’s brother… BLAKE MASON. The crowd in the arena can be heard going crazy, they were not expecting for Victor’s older brother to show up. Vic shakes his head.

Victor Mason: “Glad some things never change, like your arrogance.

Blake Mason: “Couldn’t resist.

Victor Mason: “Thank goodness this is not the Modern Day God of Wrestling tournament. No one would want to win that.

Blake shakes his head while smirks. His demeanor changes. Blake places his hand on Victor’s shoulder.

Blake Mason: “You ok?

Victor remains silent, pondering what his brother just asked him. He shakes his head.

Victor Mason: “No, I’m not. I have faith in the preparation I made to get ready for my match. At the end of the day that is all we can do, form a gameplan, try to execute, if things don’t go my way tonight, I can rest with the knowledge I did everything in my power to win. From a technical standpoint, that is not where the worry settles in. Look, I know part of wrestling, and life, is all about overcoming adversity. Part of me still feels I shouldn’t be here. Kelsai was attacked. Bruised ribs. Sprained ankle. Concussion. She needs me more than my desire to win this tournament. I keep failing her, Blake, I am tired of all of it.”

Blake Mason: “Vic, we both know Kelsai wouldn’t allow you to miss this tournament because of her. Brush that thought out of your mind. Now! Understood?”

Victor, not wishing to protest his brother, nods.

Blake Mason: “And second of all, the reason why I pushed you into jumping into the shark tank is because you are a better wrestler than I ever will be. I have the drive. The ambition. The ego, for better or worse that carried me as far as I could possibly go. I still remember the first day we trained together, you were a goddamn natural. A freaking prodigy. You. Cassie. Lenore. All ahead of me at your points in your respective careers than I was at each stage of mine. I hate that you are letting your talent go to waste. Today, you are not fighting for the family. Or using this tournament as a distraction from what happened in GCW. This is about you proving to yourself that Victor Mason has what it takes to become a long term player in this industry. March on to victor(y), bro.

Victor nods.

Victor Mason: “Appreciate the speech. I’m not joking when I say this, you should look into becoming a motivational speaker.”

Blake Mason: “Tony Robbins ain’t got nothing on me.”

Victor chuckles.

Victor Mason: “Pump the brakes.”

Blake Mason: Nothing wrong with a healthy ego.

Victor Mason: “Yeah. Sometimes. But in all seriousness, thanks for being here. My mind is swimming. I promised David my full attention would be on him, look at me, my mind is bouncing all over the place. I need to recenter myself. Thanks for coming…

Victor smiles knowing he just said his brother’s signature catchphrase.

Victor Mason: “You being here is just what I needed.

Blake Mason: “After all the times you’ve been there for me, it’s the least I can do. I’m going to find my seat. Best of luck. Love you.

Blake presents Victor his fist. Victor doesn’t hesitate to complete the fist bump.

Victor Mason: “Love you, too.

Blake nods. He walks off leaving Victor alone to recenter his thoughts as the scene fades to black. We return back to Alistaire Allocco and Jessica Winters at the broadcast table, over looking the ring.

Adam Allocco: “Sorry everyone, the monkeys still allowed disgusting sentimental garbage to pass through the filters. ”

Jessica Winters: “What’s so wrong with brotherly love? Victor’s come out and stated he’s wrestling this match to make his brother’s proud and that might be what gets him past this first round.

Adam Allocco: “Gross. Thanks Games of Thrones!

Jessica Winters: “This isn’t incest. This is your regular family business… and speaking of family business. David Helms is in his locker room, about to make his way out here, and he’s joined with his family.

Adam Allocco: “Fantastic.

Backstage
The show cuts backstage to the locker room occupied by David Helms and his family. Regan, AJ, Jenni and Matty Stone are there and David sits holding his arm out for Stone to tape his fist. Stone does a final layer and Helms punches the palm of his other hand before nodding in approval.

David Helms: “Perfect, bro…

Matty Stone: “Just like old times, brah.

Regan Street: “Let’s hope not too much like old times, because that used to involve stitches…

Helms looks up at his wife, smirking. Stone chuckles a little before tossing the tape back into Helms’ bag.

AJ Helms: “That wasn’t from what other people did to him though, it was from what he did to himself…

Helms and Stone look at AJ.

AJ Helms: “You think I haven’t seen those early tapes? Just don’t throw yourself off of a balcony and you should be fine…

Helms smirks again as Stone just pats his friend on the shoulder.

Jennifer Helms: “You were actually that crazy?

David Helms: “Were… not anymore…

AJ Helms: “High risk, high reward…

Regan frowns as she sits down next to her husband.

Regan Street: “Just don’t go getting any ideas, Jennifer… you’re doing fine just the way you are, without adopting the Helms approach to risking life and limb to get a cheap pop…

David Helms: “I’m right here you know?

Regan smirks.

Regan Street: “We know… if you weren’t, we wouldn’t be either…

The slight edge on Regan’s tone isn’t lost on Stone, who reads the situation better than either Jennifer or AJ and acts on it.

Matty Stone: “Alright you two, how about we hit catering to avoid concessions prices then go find our seats, huh? Give the old man a few minutes of peace before go time…

Helms goes to say something but Jennifer cuts him off before he can.

Jennifer Helms: “Matty’s right, dad, we should give you some space. I just hope catering is better here than it is in Emerge, because it kind of sucks…

AJ Helms: “SCW isn’t much better Jen, believe me…

Helms chuckles and even Regan cracks a smirk as Stone begins to usher AJ and Jennifer from the room. They stop at the door before Jennifer turns back around.

Jennifer Helms: “Good luck out there dad…

AJ Helms: “Yeah, good luck dude. Kill it, yeah? Just don’t kill yourself in the process…

Helms just gives a thumbs up. Jennifer and AJ turn to leave the room, Stone linger just long enough to give a nod at Helms and get one in return before he follows suit and the door closes behind them, leaving Regan and Helms alone.

Regan Street: “Matty might be an idiot at times… but he can read a room, I’ll give him that. Listen, I know I said I support this, and I do… but I need to know beforehand… you okay?

Helms looks at his wife for a moment, measuring his response before finally speaking.

David Helms: “Well, considering I’m about ready to walk out there, obviously I’m nervous babe, but–

Regan Street: “That’s not what I mean and you know it… I just want to know that this isn’t some sort of crisis bread from everything that’s gone on this last year. I need to know you’re doing alright, because you’re my rock during the worst times and I want to make sure I can be yours if needed…

Helms looks away and sighs.

David Helms: “I haven’t mentally checked out if that’s what you’re asking. Is it nice to get away from everything for one night? Sure. But I know I’ll wake up tomorrow and have responsibilities again, don’t worry…

Regan Street: “And if things go well tonight?

David Helms: “Victor Mason is no slouch, it’s not gonna be easy… if I win, I do it again in two weeks. If it goes badly, then we head home. Simple really…

Regan Street: “And that’s it?

Helms looks at Regan critically, examining her face for a moment before answering.

David Helms: “You mean do I want to get back in the ring more regularly, don’t you?

Regan Street: “Not exactly how I’d have phrased it, but not far off. I was going to say I want you to promise me that when this is done, regardless of how far you go, when it’s over, it’s over…  you gonna be able to do that?

Helms stands up and takes a couple of steps before turning to look back at his wife.

David Helms: “I don’t think I can tell you that just yet…

Regan closes her eyes and sighs before opening them to look at her husband again.

David Helms: “I walk out there tonight to compete under my own name for the first time in a couple years. As much as you know I’ve tried to ignore the fact, I have missed it… Victor Mason has every reason to want to fight; that stuff with Kelsai is going to be a hell of a motivator… but I have the taste of it babe, at least right now. And I never say never, you know that…

Regan stands up and walks to her husband, putting a hand on his face.

Regan Street: “You know I support you no matter what you choose to do, babe…

Before she can say more, a knock from the door cuts her off as a voice shouts to them from outside the room

Voice: “Two minutes, Mr. Helms!

Regan sighs and turns back to her husband.

Regan Street: “Guess this is gonna have to wait, huh?

David Helms: “Guess so…

Regan Street: “Then go out there and do what you do best; put on a show for those fans. I know that’s what drives you, so enjoy it, okay? I love you.

David Helms: “I love you too… just make sure they take me to a decent private hospital with good food if I get my ass kicked, okay?

Regan Street: “Nothing but steak and lobster, I promise…

With that, Regan smirks before kissing her husband on the cheek and turning to leave. Helms watches her go before starting to pace, psyching himself up as the scene fades.

Jessica Winters: “SCW Superstar, Regan Street, is there giving some encouragement for her husband, SCW All-Time Great, David Helms.

Adam Allocco: “Speaking of that bastard, I want to pause for a moment and remind everyone watching, that God of Wrestling is sponsored by David Helms’s and Lucas Knight’s Infamously Dangerous Rum. Checked it out the other day, smooth as all getup.

Jessica Winters: “And just moments away from our first match of the evening.

David Helms (SCW) vs. Victor Mason (GCW)

Phillips: “Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, welcome to the God of Wrestling tournament. The following match is the opening contest and it is scheduled for one fall, operating underneath SCW standard regulations and rules.

“What Makes A Good Man” by The Heavy echos from the loudspeakers…

Phillips: “Introducing first… weighing in at 225 pounds… from Boston, Massachusetts… GCW’s VICTOR MASON!”

Victor Mason makes his way from the back. He drops to one knee, his light brown look at the ring with laser like focus. After a few second of meditative reflection he pops up not taking the time to bask in the positive reaction he is receiving, he methodically walks down to the ring. He walks up the steel steps. He steps through the ropes. He squats down near turnbuckle awaiting for the match to start.

Adam Allocco: “Fun fact for those marks out there. Victor Mason has actually held gold. Former Chimera Tag Team Champion with former SCW World Champion, Ace Marshall. Color me impressed, because I’m surprised anyone can get along with that loser.

Jessica Winters: “Currently managing his wife in GCW. Last weekend, he had to witness his wife be assaulted and hospitalized, so while we’re told that he’s trying to escape that personal situation by throwing himself into the fray, let’s see if that affects him tonight.

Adam Allocco: “If he wants to beat one of the best, which is David Helms is, he’s going to have to be perfect and hope that David Helms has some of that infamous ring rust. Victor’s good, but David Helms is top shelf.

The arena’s lights cut and the room falls into complete darkness as a buzz spreads through the crowd, the screens suddenly lighting up with one single solitary word…

 “BANG!”

As the crowd react, the entire stage lights up with a brilliant white light and the opening riff of an SCW remixed version of “All I Want” by A Day To Remember hits the pa system. The crowd erupt into cheers again as they spot the silhouette of David Helms standing there, his arms held aloft and his hands throwing the Self High Five, all framed by the brilliant white light behind him.

“ALL I WANT IS A PLACE TO CALL MY OWN
TO MEND THE HEARTS OF EVERYONE WHO FEELS ALONE
WOAH; YOU KNOW TO KEEP YOUR HOPES UP HIGH
BUT YOU HEAD DOWN LOW!”

The intro gives way to the chorus and the lyrics of said chorus flash up on the screen as Helms suddenly jumps into the air and breaks his hands apart, pyrotechnics exploding on either side of the stage as he lands and the house lights raise again as the curtains part and out walk Matty Stone and Scarlett Pearson, walking out onto the stage together. Helms grins at the fans then at Matty and Scarlett before suddenly bolting towards the ring, leaving Matty and Scarlett to walk down after him.

Phillips: “Making his way to the ring from Red Bank New Jersey, fighting out of Santa Monica in California; he weighed in earlier tonight at one hundred ninety nine pounds, is accompanied to the ring by Matty Stone and Scarlett Pearson and is an SCW Supreme Champion. Give it up… FOR DAVID HELMS!!!

Reaching the ring, Helms jumps up and slides under the bottom rope feet first before jumping straight back to his feet and climbing straight to the middle rope of the nearest ring post. He throws his hands up into the Self High Five to another cheer before hopping down and walking towards the closest camera on the outside. He throws his hands into the Self High Five to the camera so that his face is framed by the gap in the middle of his hands. Grinning, he mouths the word “Bang!” into the camera before turning and settling back into the corner to another cheer from the fans as Matty and Scarlett stand on the outside, talking to him through the ropes as Helms and Mason exchange looks. The crowd is buzzing.

Jessica Winters: “David Helms is stepping out of retirement for this tournament. He’s wrestled on a limited basis, one shots if you will, but the wrestling fans in attendance knows that this is a special treatment.

Adam Allocco: “He’s widely respected. He’s considered one of the best to ever stepped in the ring. He’s one of the top seeds in this tournament, and there’s a reason for that. He’s a Supreme Champion in SCW, fifth to accomplished the feat that only nine others have done.

Jessica Winters: “You mentioned ring rust. You think that’d be a factor.

Adam Allocco: “I think that while we know he has busied himself since his retirement with training, that’s not the same as in-ring action. Victor Mason might suffer the same fate, he hasn’t wrestled full-time, supporting his wife instead.

Jessica Winters: “And in professional wrestling, three seconds change the course of destiny.

Adam Allocco: “Exactly. If you too slow to react, you’re done. Bam Bam thank you ma’am!

Victor Mason steps out into the center of the ring. David Helms joins him. They eye each other as the crowd is still cheering loudly. Victor Mason offers his hand out and David Helms eyes that hand suspiciously but looks Victor square in the eyes. He accepts and the crowd pops as both men break as the bell rings. The two men circle around. David Helms throws up his arms a few times to get the crowd to roar again. They then clash in the middle, locking up.  Victor Mason begins to overpower David, leveraging his height and weight advantage. He pushed David’s arms down to a side headlock. David snatches the wrist, and slips out, wrenching the arm immediately. Victor rolls forward to escape the pressure onto his knees, he swings his arms to dump David over his legs, but David leaps over, jump rope style. Victor tries again, the opposite direct. David jumps over that. Victor reverses. David hops over that. The crowd begins to clap with each successive pass until David plants his boots and Victor hammers his shins.

Jessica Winters: “Almost a game of jump rope to start this match out. I don’t think in my entire career, I’ve seen that.

Adam Allocco: “David Helms is acting like he’s some old man, but he’s still has that bounce to his step!

Jessica Winters: “You think if he continued, he would have been the Tom Brady of this sport?

Adam Allocco: “I don’t know, but like Brady, he definitely has a banger of a wife.

He shakes his forearm in pain as he steps up, David with the front face lock . Victor Mason shoves him forward to run the ropes. David Helms comes charging back, ducks underneath a clothesline attempt. David Helms rebounds as Victor Mason turns. Shoulder lowered, David Helms rolls over the length of Mason’s back onto his feet. He stops, turns to fire off a high kick towards Mason. Mason turned and sidestepped in time to bat that kick down. David stumbles forward, slightly off  balance by the miss. He is thankfully caught by Victor Mason who proceeded to swing their weight backwards into a Russian Legsweep. Victor Mason rolls off on top for maybe a pin attempt but David Helms rolls over onto a top mount position. He starts to throw some forearms and elbows down but Mason covers up. David Helms reaches down to pull away the block but Victor absorbs a hit while grabbing the legs of Helms. He throws his weight to the side to dump David onto his stomach the side, and pushes up onto his feet to stand right into a Boston Crab with the legs still held tight. The crowd cheers at the counter.

Adam Allocco: “Victor Mason is bringing someone honor to his name. Damn son!

Jessica Winters: “A very closely matched bout so far in the first few minutes. Victor Mason is keeping up with the great!

Adam Allocco: “Maybe I shouldn’t have mocked him so fraternal affection! Which I wish I could say for Blake’s vaginal infection.

Jessica Winters: “You do know that we have sponsors and SCW board of directors would want you to clean this up.

Adam Allocco: “Everyone can @ me! I don’t care! I’m just saying, while Victor’s is impressive, his brother is a chicken!

David Helms reaches out to the ropes. He is in the center of the ring. He tries to crawl his way towards the ropes, inch by inch. The pain is written on his face. He almost reaches but he starts to get pulled back, but at the time, Helms twists his body. The momentum is great enough for David Helms to launch Victor Mason. Mason stumbles through the middle rope and falls to the outside of the ring. He manages to rolls him forward onto his feet as he stops himself at the guard rail. He turns around and Helms is already on his feet, hurtling his body through the middle ropes with a suicide dive that takes them both off their feet. The crowd pops at the high risk move!

Jessica Winters: “One minute, Victor has David Helms locked in a boston, right where he wants him, and the next he’s on the outside, getting hit with a bullet.

Adam Allocco: “Regardless of how great I am, how much of a technical genius I am, David Helms is next level. I’m mediated, he has the perfect instincts while wrestling. In the real life, I always wondered if he had his head on right, but in that ring, a thing of beauty!

Mason pulls himself up using the ring apron, David Helms using the guard rail. He leans back into the crowd to get a few slaps on the back from the crowd. Victor throws himself forward but David Helms ducks. Victor Mason turns and David Helms hops onto his shoulder for a hurricanrana! Victor starts to fall forward but he dumps Helms. Helms is tossed into the ring apron, spine first with an improvisational powerbomb. David Helms body bounces off with a thud and he falls onto the floor, holding his back in pain. Victor drops down onto one knee and lines him up. David Helms forces himself up and from behind Mason brings him down, face first across the thin floor mat with a bulldog. He holds onto the skull in his arm, stands, forcing David and then turns, in a fluid motion rolls David into the ring.

Jessica Winters: “David Helms had a moment in the driver’s seat, but Victor Mason managed to turn the tables on the outside. People like to say that the ring apron is the hardest part of the ring.

Adam Allocco: “And then I, when you say that the ring arpon is the hardest part, is supposed to correct you by saying it’s actually the ring post. Please not the condescension in my voice.

David Helms is on his hands and knees on the inside of the ring. Victor Mason motions to the crowd to react and they reward him with a cheer. He steps up behind David Helms as he starts to raise slowly. Victor Mason wraps his arms around the waist of David Helms. David stomps down onto his foot, snapmare take down. He runs into the ropes and drives a kick right into Victor’s spine. The kick phases Victor as he stands onto his feet, arm extended, a cringed expression on his face. During this, David Helms backpedaled into the ropes and catches Victor with a running DDT. Victor’s head bounces off the canvas, for a moment Victor’s bounce has enough force that he rolls onto his back. The hook of the leg:

Jessica Winter: “David Helms with the pin attempt!

1…
2…

Jessica Winters: “Victor explodes out of that pin. He has a lot of life left in him!

Adam Allocco: “A back and forth encounter so far! And I know some fans might be wondering, are they completely wrestling on the straight and narrow or were there a few cheap shots in there? I’m gonna say this… they are respecting each other enough to bring out the full arsenal.

Jessica Winters: “Powerbomb into the apron. Stomp on the foot, is that what you referring to?

Adam Allocco: “No one wants to go home tonight. They’re going to do what they need to do to advance.

David Helms reaches down, seeming to seek the ankle lock, but immediately gets a boot in the face in the form of a very desperate mule kick. David falls backwards into the ropes and comes forward as Victor Mason starts to stand. He catches Victor with a shining wizard, landing on top but he rolls off, opting not to pin. He points towards the ropes to which the fans roar and David Helms matches over. He climbs up to the top rope. He pauses at the top and points to the crowd. They respond again loudly but he doesn’t notice Victor climbing onto his feet. He prepares himself and launches himself backwards for a moonsault. Victor Mason is already up on his feet and catches the flying David Helms with a super kick to the face right before he hits empty mat. The crowd explodes again, a ‘holy shit’ chant begins to erupt too. Victor shoves David Helms over, and covers:

Jessica Winters: “Is David Helms out?! Victor goes for the win!

1…
2…

Adam Allocco: “He’s alive! Shoulder’s up right before the referee’s hand hits the mat! But man! What a counter! Victor aimed that kick perfectly, timed it perfectly, and as a result, I too thought we were about see an upset here!

Jessica Winters: “I think David’s timing is off. Evidently, he didn’t realize that Victor recovered.

Adam Allocco: “Obviously, in live action, completive play, you get a feel. And I think David Helms might have lost that sense, simply by not experience live fire.

David Helms rolls underneath the bottom rope to protect himself. Victor Mason stares down David Helms, the gears obviously churning in his head. He decides to play aggressive, stepping up to the ropes and reach down to lead Helms to his feet. Vertical Suplex attempted to bring back Helms into the ring but Helms floats over. He charges forward towards the ropes and on the rebound he leaps up but is caught, spinebuster delivered in the center of the ring by Victor Mason. The pin:

1…
2…
3-

Jessica Winters: “Again Victor Mason is close to pulling off the upset! He caught the much higher seeded David Helms by a spinebuster.

Adam Allocco: “You have to sit here and wonder, if Victor Mason pins, regardless of how many years remove from full time David Helms might, but one of the best in the history of business, what that would do to his career.

Jessica Winters: “Maybe he start thinking that maybe he’s should be pursuing a singles career instead of simply supporting his wife on the sidelines.

Adam Allocco: “He could be made a star overnight and that’s what is great about this God of Wrestling tournament! It attracts the best and the hungry, and sometimes those lower seeds are just hungry. Victor might be hungry to climb out of his brother’s shadows. Might not admit it, but he might be!

Victor Mason stomps down onto the chest of David before signaling for the man to stand. David Helms finds his feet, his hair is no longer perfect as he seems to be in a daze. But David Helms throws a wild haymaker and Victor Mason manages to duck it. Helms regains his balance, turns, but finds a boot to the gut. Victor Mason under hooks both arms and begins to ready for either one of his top moves but David Helms throws him over his shoulders for a back body drop. Victor Mason scrambles to his feet and swings a clothesline towards David Helms. Helms ducks, jumps up onto the top rope, Truth and Consequences strikes home! The crowd explodes. David Helms shakes his head, trying to get his focus back as he stumbles forward. He falls onto Victor Mason and hooks the leg:

Jessica Winters: “Majestic David Helms taking flight in the wild. Corkscrew moonsault on the standing Victor Mason followed by a pin!

1…

Adam Allocco: “Delayed too long…

2…

Jessica Winters: “Victor Mason gets the shoulder up after too.

Adam Allocco: “Give credit where credit is due. Victor Mason is holding his own right now and I think minus the last twenty seconds, he’s been the dominant force in this match.

Victor Mason and David Helms are both on the mat, trying to catch their breathe. David Helms first and the crowd is responsive to that. He waves Victor Mason up. Mason stumbles to his feet, he staggers as David Helms hoists him. He goes for the finish, the Genesis Shift! But it was Victor that shifted right  before the release, catches Helms with a stunner! David Helms bounces off as the crowd explodes. He turns around right into an exploder suplex!

Jessica Winters: “Victor Mason escapes death and delivers a brutal exploder suplex!

Adam Allocco: “Despite the size advantage, Victor has shown off some mad skills in the agility.

Jessica Winters: “Three times the charm?

1…

2…

3!

Jessica Winters: “An upset!”

Adam Allocco: “No! No wait! The referee is waving off! He’s said it was only two. David Helms got the shoulder up just in time!

Jessica Winters: “Victor Mason thinks he pulled the upset! The crowd is roaring right now! They think he got the three count!

Referee steps forward before the celebratory Victor Mason to inform him that it was only two. A look of dejection appears on Mason as he genuinely believed he seized the victor but that didn’t last long. He shook his head and slapped himself turning his attention back on David Helms. Victor Mason steps up to the still stirring David Helms, underhooks the arm, looks around and goes for the Seed of Victo(y)! But David Helms slips out, rolls up Victor Mason for the pin:

Jessica Winters: “Seed of Victoy! No! Counter! Pin!

1…

2….

3-

Adam Allocco: “Victor Mason escaped! David Helms almost stole it! Wiley coyote, that’s what he once looked like, he might have style now, he’s hasn’t lost his wit. David Helms almost played Victor Mason there for the surprise pin.

Victor Mason storms to his feet. He seems genuinely upset with himself for that mistake. But he turns, and stomps down onto David Helms. He rolls over to the corner. He starts to climb up but Mason is there with a shoulder to the back. David Helms is led out and Mason whips, but fakes, trying to bring him back into a clothesline but David Helms ducks underneath. Mason throws himself backwards with an elbow but Helms rolls out of the way. Mason’s back bounces off the turnbuckle. David Helms strikes with the Wake Up Call but it doesn’t little to wake Mason up as he is stunned.

Jessica Winters: “NEW JERSEY NECKBREAKER!

Adam Allocco: “And David Helms drapes the arm over for the pin!

3!

Jessica Winters: “David Helms escapes with the victory but he almost found himself out, night one!

Adam Allocco: “What a showing by Victor Mason here tonight! You’re telling me we seeded this guy low and he stood his ground against one of the best.

Jessica Winters: “David Helms might remember now how difficult it is to be a professional wrestling. He might have give mention that he might find himself challenged tonight but it’s different to actually experience it.

Adam Allocco: “If that is how we open the night, I can’t wait to see what else is store.

“All I Want” by A Day To Remember plays and Victor Mason sits up. He shakes his head, not overly upset, but enough to know he almost had it. David Helms pushes himself up and stumbles towards him. Helms offers his hand and helps Victor Mason up, and raises his arm.

Jessica Winters: “Classy move. Despite the history David might have with Blake Mason, he is not holding that against Victor Mason. Respect give where respect due, right?

Adam Allocco: “While I hate how masturbatory such displays are, I think this is one of the few moments, I feel like that respect is needed. David Helms respect that Victor Mason showed up to compete despite what Vegas might have said about his odds. And Victor Mason almost took home that double-u.

Jessica Winters: “We have a cameraman backstage, tracking down a particular Hollywood actress that originated as a professional wrestling. Madison Chase live, backstage.

Backstage
The gorgeous Madison Chase paces back and forth in her pink bell bottom tights, black boots and matching pink and white cut off, sleeveless top. Her long hair slicked back in a high ponytail and nails polished white. This is the first time Madison has had a singles match since Max Kane in SCW a while ago where she was hurt. Making an appearance in a Battle Royal down in EMERGE was about it for the adorable honorary Dependable. She doesn’t want to fail and knows that losing in the first round or having a Mason and a Helms in the second could do her in, she is both nervous and excited.

She is dealing with some confident issues; her eyes shift toward the camera periodically.

Madison Chase: “So, are you like, going to follow me the entire time I am in here?

The camera nods.

Madison Chase: “Like OMG, is there like a little bit of privacy? I am so wigging out right now and you are like not making things any better! I have a first-round match in this Goddess of Wrestling Tournament and it’s so irritating that I am so scared of losing to a girl that is so much younger and totally prettier than me, hell probably sings and acts better too! Though my husband is way cuter than her fiancé. As If!

Maddie tried to avoid the cameraman but after a few minutes, the inevitable was that he wasn’t going to leave until he had an interview with her. She stopped, folding her arms in and tilting her head.

Madison Chase: “Dude, like go!

The cameraman shakes his head again. This time she facepalms and sighs.

Madison Chase: “You aren’t leaving until I like address my opponent, huh?

This time the cameraman nods his head. Madison looks down and closes her eyes, she then starts to do “Breathe” exercises as her Apple Watch instructed her to. When she ends, her light brown eyes open back up. Finally letting out one more sigh, she speaks.

Madison Chase: “Okay…. Like I had nothing prepared okay? And it’s like this Catalina Herrera girl seems to be kinda cool. I hate that because it totally makes it soooooo hard for me to talk mad shit about someone when you actually like them. I am going to try the best I can because I don’t plan on being ousted in the first-round of the tourney, like I promised my family that I would enter this and do my best, represent my name and those closest to me because that is what we are supposed to do…. Right? Okay, so anyhoo, like this is really important to me, I was out of the business and I didn’t know if I was coming back. Some say that it’s because my Movie Career like totally sucked and I am like the worst actress ever according to some critics…. Nuh uh! That is not why…. It’s because…. It’s because…. Okay shit, that IS why! Did you know that I started wrestling at 17 years old? Oh yeah, I like totally lied about my age, I actually thought I was trying out for some play or something and then it was actually wrestling, they like so loved me …. Okay that is a like too but I was seventeen when I started so I like totally get how Catalina feels. I mean she like slept in her car and….. okay I really never slept in my car, I come from a totally rich family, I practically had everything I ever wanted….. oh wait…. I mean I like totally did, I was daddy’s little girl until I grew up the day I was on the plane where I met Gavin Taylor and he made me a member of the Mile High Club but that membership is like so totally stupid because I never was given any miles to fly… duh!

Rolling her eyes, Maddie finally takes a deep breath and speaks further.

Madison Chase: “And so this Catalina gets to attend Wrestling School, like I never did, I was trained by Trinity Street and Taylor Chase, my older sister who was trained by Trinity but whatever, Look, Catalina, like I really don’t have a problem with you and stuff, you like make me totally jealous and I want to like shake you really really hard and then like kick you off the I-95 overpass but I like would chicken out at the last minutes because I won’t ever go to jail, they like would totally have their way with me in prison…. Ewww… no thanks. That is why Catalina, I am like so totally going to win this match, I don’t think you truly fully understand my drive and desire to be the best. I have been like so pandering and feeling sorry for myself for like a long time and now that I am back….

I am so totally winning.

I am not calling my shots or anything, that would eb like so stupid and then I would sound like a liar and Catalina, I’m not a liar. Tonight, is very important to me and while you are still young and pretty, I am older and pretty but when it comes to be the ring, you can bet that I transform into 115 lbs. of unadulterated badass! I respect your upbringing and struggles, its tough, I totally remember the days when I had to eat Peanut Butter and Jelly?

The struggle is real sister.

I know we are going to have a good, clean match and know that whatever it is that happens, I am not leaving until I win dude. So Catalina, like good luck but not too much because I am going to so kick your ass and probably totally hate myself afterwards.

AS IF!

Madison places her hands on the hips and once again tilts her head.

Madison Chase: “Dude, I like totally gave you an interview, can you like leave….. NOW!

The cameraman nods and leaves, Madison slams the door and rolls her eyes. The feed switches over to the announcers, Adam Allocco and Jessica Winter. They turn each other as the infographic: “Madison Chase vs. Catalina Herrera” emerges on the bottom of the screen.

Jessica Winter: “We heard from Madison Chase. She seems like she’s… nervous? Prima donna?

Adam Allocco: “She’s stepping into the ring for the first time in a little while. She’s riding a lot on this tournament. I guess her last movie’s universally panned. I fell asleep during it. So I think Madison Chase feels the pressure. And she recognizes her opposition in this match.

Jessica Winters: “Catalina Herrera. Trained at AnteUp Academy. From GCW. Current International Champion. Your thoughts?

Adam Allocco: “Amazing athlete, let’s start there. She’s well-trained by that institution. She is dedicated to this sport and has a huge ceiling. I’ve been told that in order to attend AnteUp Academy, she slept in her car. To me, that takes about spirit.

Jessica Winters: “You think it’s going to be a tough match-up Madison Chase?

Adam Allocco: “Madison Chase has her brand. People recognize her name. They instantly think she’s the favorite. But I think from what I’ve watched, Catalina Herrera is hot at the moment in her career. She’s polished. Madison Chase hasn’t been taking hits for a while. Might have ring rust, as we mentioned with David Helms earlier. This isn’t an easy sport.

Jessica Winters: “What is the key in this match that think it’s going to come down to?

Adam Allocco: “I think, it’s whoever finds one footing first and take advantage of the opportunities given. You have another three rounds, two more shows, after this if you continue to advance. Get in and get out.

Jessica Winters: “And Phillips is out in the ring, it appears that we’re about to start our second match of the evening in the first round of SCW Presents God of Wrestling 2019 tournament. Want to give a shout out to Twitch, as we stream live from their platform. Twitch is not just gaming, there’s a lot of other live content streaming on the site. Check it out!

Madison Chase vs. Catalina Herrera

Phillips: “
The following match is scheduled for one fall… introducing first…

The whistling intro to “Kill ‘EM With Kindness” by Selena Gomez begins playing over the speakers. The crowd goes quiet while some cheer.

“The world can be a nasty place,
You know it, I know it, yeah…
We don’t have to fall from graaaace,
Put down the weapons you fight with and…
Kill ’em with kindness
Kill ’em with kindness
kill ’em
kill ’em
kill ’em with kindness
Kill ’em with kindness
Go ahead…
Go ahead…
Go ahead now”

As the chorus rolls, Catalina Herrera makes her way through the curtain. She pauses at the top of the ramp, an overwhelmed look on her face as she looks around at the massive crowd. She takes a few moments to take it all in, closing her eyes and taking a deep breath before making her way down the ramp. As she walks, she high fives the fans, a huge grin on her face.

Phillips: “Weighing in at 130 pounds, from Santa Barbara…. Representing Global Championship Wrestling… the current GCW International Champion, she is Catalina Herrera!

At the end of the ramp, Catalina takes a lap around the outside of the ring, still drinking it all in as she high fives everyone in the front row before walking slowly up the ring stairs. she pauses on the apron, looking around at the massive crowd again. She makes her way between the ropes to the center of the ring where she continues looking around, her hands covering the huge, awe-struck grin spread across her lips as she waits.

Jessica Winters: “Very energetic! No nerves at all. Catalina Herrera is here to compete. She wants to be known as the Goddess of Wrestling!

Adam Allocco: “Well, she’s here, isn’t she? This would be a breakout performance if she wins this tournament. Who can deny that?

Phillips: “And her opponent…

The arena goes dark.

Spotlights start to shine in the entrance way.

A shower of fireworks goes off.

The chorus begins as “Best Damn Thing” by Avril Levigne plays throughout the arena as Madison Chase slowly walks out and stops at the entrance way, in the middle, Madison can barely contain her excitement looking out into the crowd. Stars start to shine all over the Tron and the arena as she looks around and smiles, posing and pointing to the air while the camera’s flash taking pictures of her.

Phillips: “Weighing in at 115 pounds… from Malibu, California… AMERICA’s SWEETHEART! Madison…. CHASE!

Madison giggles and starts skipping to the ring while ruffling up her hair, she slides in and stays on her knees as she smirks looking around the arena.. She takes off her jacket and covers her mouth, giggling some more.

Madison then climbs to the second turnbuckle and points at the crowd and yells:

Madison Chase: “Yeah!

Catalina Herrera steps up next to her.

Catalina Herrera: “Yeah!

Madison turns at her and stares, shaking her head. She marches past her to the opposite side of the ring, raising the palm of her hand as she watches by. She tries again, stepping up onto the second turnbuckle and points at the crowd.

Madison Chase: “Yeah!”

Catalina stands besides her and points too.

Catalina Herrera: “Yeah!

Madison Chase rolls her eyes and blows air as she seems frustrated by the imitation. She hops down and turns towards her opponent.

Jessica Winters: “The competitors might have a little discussion prior to the bell.

Madison Chase: “No!”

Catalina Herrera: “No?

Madison Chase: “Yeah!

Catalina Herrera: “Yeah!”

Madison Chase: “No!

Madison starts towards Catalina, flustered by whatever Catalina is trying to pull. The referee steps in and gets between the two. Madison tries to squeeze by but decides it not worth it. She flips her hair as she returns to her the corner.

Madison Chase: “AS IF!

Adam Allocco: “Referee is ruining all the fun. Let me go at it. Just call the bell. What he’s waiting for?

Jessica Winters: “He wants to establish order in that ring. What’s wrong with that?

Referee calls for the bell. Catalina approaches her but Madison launches herself forward. Madison takes Catalina down with a crossbody takedown. Catalina rolls through on top, she spins around, grabbing a hold of Madison’s head. Madison flips over to escape her grasp, standing to her feet, she pulls the arm of Catalina, steps around with the hammerlock. Madison yells out ‘Ha!’ into the ear but Catalina throws herself forward, tossing Madison Chase in front of her with a snapmare. There’s a dropkick to the spine! Madison Chase rolls, finding her feet as she seeks sanctuary in the corner but Catalina pursues, sandwiches her into the turnbuckle with a clothesline. She pulls back then charges forward with a splash into the corner. She leads Madison Chase out towards the center of the ring for a bulldog pushes her over and hooks the leg:

Jessica Winters: “First pin fall of the match!

1…

Adam Allocco: “And Madison Chase bursts through, not taking a moment to rest.

Jessica Winters: “What do you see so far in the opening moments of this match.

Adam Allocco: “Catalina is showing, as expected, that she is a sound technician. Madison Chase right now needs to a find a way to prevent her opponent from building up any more momentum.

Catalina yanks Madison up onto her feet, shoves her opponent’s head into the front face lock. Vertical suplex is attempted, Madison lifted upside down before Catalina swings but Madison slips out behind her. Madison claws the shoulders, throws herself backwards into the lungblower. The impact launches Catalina forward, through the middle rope but she stops herself, dropping down onto the apron instead of taking a spill onto the outside. She takes a deep breathe and stands but there’s Madison with a European style uppercut. Madison backs up and connects with a high dropkick to the face. Catalina clings onto the ropes and almost falls backward off the apron. Madison grabs the top ropes herself and drives a knee. Catalina Herrera holds her side while Madison pulls her through the middle ropes, with Catalina’s legs balanced on the rope, hits her with a diamond cutter.

Jessica Winters: “Burst of offense from Madison and she delivers a brutal Cubic Zirconium Cutter… Catalina’s seeing stars and Madison pulls her away from the ropes.

Adam Allocco: “The cover!

1…
2…

Jessica Winters: “Catalina’s drops the leg onto the bottom rope. Smart move, surprisingly for someone still early in her career to have that ring awareness developed.

Adam Allocco: “Catalina’s trained by the best, but regardless of her educational background in this sport, she’s in trouble. Madison Chase exploded with offensive fury and has her on the ropes.

Catalina crawls towards the ropes and pulls herself up. Madison Chase barrels into her, knocking her back into the corner. Madison Chase backs up and charges forward with a clothesline in the corner but Catalina gets the boot up. Madison staggers backwards, holding her mouth, she turns and gets whipped towards the opposite corner. Madison manages to counter the whip. Catalina crashes backwards into the corner. Madison comes in with another splash. She backs up, pulls Catalina. Tornado DDT is attempted but Catalina throws her off, slipping away. Madison Chase lands on her feet. But there’s a enzuigiri to stun Madison Chase. Chase staggers. Catalina pivots the back, german suplex is delivered, dropping Catalina onto her head. The bridge is achieved.

Adam Allocco: “Look at that beautiful German Suplex. A thing of beauty there.

Jessica Winters: “And she has Chase’s shoulder pinned.

1…
2…

Jessica Winters: “And only a two count there. Catalina looks as if she’s back in control of this match with a offensive burst of here own to take back control of the steering wheel.

Catalina rolls onto her hands and knees before standing. Chase holds her upper neck. Catalina drops a few elbows onto the chest before yanking Chase up by the arm. She whips Chase into the ropes but Chase leaps up onto the second rope. She flips back, A Black Tie Affair brings Catalina down. Catalina scrambles in a daze to get back up, boot to the midsection by Chase, A Walk On The Red Carpet!

Jessica Winters: “Madison Chase strikes home with A Walk on the Red Carpet! I think this is over!

3!

Adam Allocco: “Madison Chase fighting back and finishing this match in a matter of moments. I don’t think Catalina realized what hit her.

Jessica Winters: “She entered this tournament to get respect and to be praised, and I think Madison Chase earned that in the first round as she advances in the God of Wrestling Tournament.

Adam Allocco: “Good effort by Catalina, but you’re right. There were moments where Madison Chase was smooth, only if her line delivery in these movies were as smooth.

Jessica Winters: “Unfortunately for Madison Chase, we already know her next opponent. She’s going to meet David Helms! That’s going to be a challenge unlike any other.

Madison Chase celebrates while Catalina rolls out of the ring, holding her neck and lower back. “Best Damn Thing” continues to play as Madison Chase points the crowd and shouts out ‘yeah’ several times.

Jessica Winters: “Two matches in the books. Let’s take a look at what to come… Some big names still left in the tournament. 2012 God of Wrestling Winner, Shilo Valiant. Former SCW World Champions, Katie Steward… Shaun Cruze… Selena Frost… and next we get to see Lucas Knight, out of retirement and facing David Callahan.”

Adam Allocco: “David is a wrestler, saw briefly in SCW and a few stints on the indies. Former SCW Tag Team Champion, but let’s be honest. The narrative about David’s entire career is riding the coattails of Sophie James. I’ll ride-…

Jessica Winters: “Let me stop you there because I known you for my entire career to know that you’re about to step over the line.

Adam Allocco: “Today’s censorship. I now know why SCW wanted to put you besides me.

Jessica Winters: “Lucas Knight vs. David Callahn is up next. We want to thank Lucas Knight… and his business partner, who we saw earlier tonight defeat Victor Mason, for sponsoring this event. Infamously Dangerous Spiced Rum. You’ve had some straight. I’ve mixed some on coke at the tasting last night… I thought it was surprisingly smooth.”

Cameras shows a table, placed right next to the time keeper with a display of the rum, with several bottles, gleaming underneath the lights.

Adam Allocco: “If there’s ever a Grey Goose of Rum, it’s Infamously Dangerous Spiced Rum. As an expert in alcohol, it’s amazingly smooth but also very tasteful. I could drink it in a glass, no rocks required, straight.

Jessica Winters: “A reminder to those watching, always drink responsibly.

Adam Allocco: “Moving on from that plug…

Jessica Winters: “We got David Callahan earlier today in front of the cameras. Let’s hear what he had to say about his first round opponent.

Backstage
The scene changes from the God of Wrestling logo on the big screen to revealing an area backstage. The camera pans out to reveal David Callahan standing with his arms behind his back, looking down at his feet, his face solemn. He bobs his head a few times before sighing and looking up to the ceiling.

David Callahan: “Hello people watching this tournament. Tonight there is going to be a lot of these awkward moments where two dozen people may or may not stand in front of a camera like I am now and go into some form of masturbation. Unfortunately, I have been informed I can’t actually masturbate in front of you or I would. Anyways, tonight is a special night as you’re all aware as it seems we’re only getting this tournament once every seven or eight years now. Who knows. My face may be one of the last ones you see before Adam Allocco falls dead from an aneurism, pretty much killing the independence of this tournament forever.

He pulls his hands out from his back and covers his face as if to pull back from a particularly foul stench.

David Callahan: “Then SCW would just be forced to put up some kind of message to head a meaningless edition of Breakdown and people would be signing up to some tournament in his honor despite the reality that there are maybe five people that may or may not like him and he’s paying all of them. Just think, I could have signed up for Rick Octopus’ tournament. I can’t remember his actual name, I know, I am upsetting his three fans. I too could be pretending he was somebody worth the attention or respect. Instead I signed up for a real show, where the tears will be real.

He pauses and turns to his side before pulling into focus an easel. On it is sprawled the twenty four names of all the competitors in the tournament.

David Callahan: “Now, when I say tears, I mean fan tears. I mean wrestler tears. I mean family tears. Lucas Knight wanted to go into how he’s doing this all for his stupid children. Like I care what his children want. Screw them. He’s getting older, he probably realizes he has three, maybe four solid good showings left in him before his joints give out and old injuries keep popping up because he just can’t ever really recover. He wants his children to idolize him. That’s understandable. I bet a lot of people now in this tournament want this. They have all already done it all. They’ve conquered the world! They’ve been at the top of the mountain before turning and spitting down at all the peasants at the bottom!

Pulling out a sharpie from his pocket, he begins circling names. He circles David Helms, Lucas Knight, Josh Hudson, Shilo Valiant, Shaun Cruze, Katie Steward, Thirteen, and Selena Frost.

David Callahan: “Seriously, a third of this thing might as well be a who’s who of the last ten years. Selena Frost is so selfish and in need of attention she can’t even be bothered by the notion she’s going to be pulling double duty if she gets far in this tournament and I hope she does. Max Kane too because why not? I don’t care what anyone’s reason for being here is or at least what they claim it is. I know no one cares why I am here. Which is fine, I don’t care about a lot of things. I don’t care if people want to prove something, I don’t care if you’re here to reclaim that spark, I don’t care how fragile or hyper inflated your ego is.

David steps back out of focus now. As he continues speaking it’s clear he is tinkering with something.

David Callahan: “The real point of this tournament is bragging rights. You’re supposed to be facing the absolute best. These names I circled? Look at their opponents. Just look at these brackets. Tonight’s attraction is the return of old faces. Round two and three are clearly meant to be the rematches and clashes of the ages between all the legends. Who am I supposed to be? I am supposed to be cannon fodder. The front-line that gets bent over and royally screwed for the pleasure of the older fans who remember the good ol’ days!

David steps back into focus wearing a welding face shield and carrying what appears to be a flame thrower.

David Callahan: “I am about to give an overdramatic visualization for everyone to take home tonight on just what I think of this notion. It’s a message to Lucas Knight, his stupid family, his entitled sense of superiority and a desire to return to a time that’s done. It’s over old man. I know I am not meant to get further in but I am going to anyways. Caleb isn’t dying, Make-a-wish isn’t coming to give wishes and despite the name of the tournament, there aren’t other Gods out there you can pray for your youth and health back from. I am your God, worship me or curse in my name, I don’t care. Now, this is also meant to be edgy, different and hopefully make you all like me. I feel like that’s half of what wrestling is now, is a cry for attention, a cry for love and affection. So, please, everyone watching. Please, please, pretty please just love me.

He stands back about five feet from the easel before unleashing a stream of fire. Someone in the background shouts before two people immediately show up and put it out with two fire extinguishers. David coughs and waves his arms from the blasts before stepping back, someone yelling at him in the background. He just laughs and starts to walk off as the scene fades away to the announcers.

Adam Allocco: “The man definitely has a certain edge to him, but Vegas has him as a very overwhelming underdog.

Jessica Winters: “This is professional wrestling, anything can happen.

Adam Allocco: “Have to remember to that Lucas Knight hasn’t fully wrestled for some time, so maybe having an edge is going to be enough to propel David Callahan to an upset win.

Phillips: “The following match scheduled for one fall… introducing first…

Jessica Winters: “Let’s hear what Lucas Knight had to say.

Backstage
The sound of the crowd reverberates through the gorilla position of the SCW house show, it is sending a shiver down the spine of the man standing outside of the curtains which is Lucas Knight. He is decked out in his wrestling gear and has a huge smile on his face. He paces back and forth a few times before stretching to limber up only to stop. He looks at the camera now and does one final stretch before motioning to it to come over to him which it does.

Lucas Knight: “Hear that out there, that is something else alright. Look at me I’m buzzing with excitement right now because I will be walking out in a minute and for the first time in four bloody years I will be competing in and SCW ring. They say its like riding a bike, we never forget and maybe that’s true you know? It’s moments like this which allows us to show our true Moxy don’t it? This has been a long time coming for yours truly. I’ve been looking forward to it ever since I decided to plant my feet back into a wrestling ring which let me tell wasn’t an easy decision to make.”

Lucas nods to the camera with an aura of confidence about him.

Lucas: “It’s wild when I think about it really, I look at everyone who is in this thing and it’s the whose who of my era of SCW when you think about it. I’ve crossed paths I think with most people in this thing barring those from outside our little bubble of course and it’s run by Adam Allocco of all people. Who’d think that guy would be doing this again. It is what it is I suppose, it’s 2019. Times are a changing so says Bob Dylan, and it’s true it really is. Whether it’s the currently political climate, or just climate change times are change on this planet and they’re changing here in SCW for the better because you get to see this mug on your streams and televisions once again. I’ve missed a lot over the years since I left, do I regret it of course I do, so many things left unfinished. I’m an Aries, I’ve always got to be stuck in the thick things, I need to know everything what’s happening it’s just in my nature.

Knight chuckles and stops when a loud roar from the crowd comes from behind him.

Lucas Knight: “In just a few minutes I’m going out there to face David Callahan, I know very little about the twat other that he looks like he needs a twelve-step program in his life, but here we are anyway ready to compete in a tournament that’ll label us the God of Wrestling should we win this whole shebang. I don’t know what he’s thinking about doing, his motivations for the future. But as far as I’m concerned, he is just the first step for me, the first of many because I intend on going all the way in this thing to Under Attack.

Lucas nods as he rubs his hands together…

Lucas Knight: “Under Attack has a special place in my heart because it’s where I won the SCW World Championship nine years ago. Its when I cemented myself in the history of this company by doing so within the first eight months of my career. That takes some balls and a whole lot of talent make no mistake about that. My career after that moment wasn’t the highlight of year for me. Winning this tournament is almost like a second chance innit? I must go through the muppet I face next, a Scottish savage hopefully if the cards fall in that lanky bastard favour. Possibly David Helms in what will no doubt the money match along with someone else and this isn’t even including the other brackets.

He laughs before looking back as someone calls his name motioning, he must get ready… Lucas sticks a thumbs up before turning back to the camera.

Lucas Knight: “But that’s just the thing about these tournaments, anything can happen. I might get my ass handed to me by the guy who looks like his mother was anti vaccinations. But it’s okay, I’ve had mine, I’ll not be catching anything of that monkey let me tell. The only thing he’ll get is a swift boot to the gut and then a hallowed introduction to the Monarchy Rules. David Callahan, you can take this as a life lesson. What ever doesn’t’ kill you will only make you stronger, you look mental and probably are, but I won’t be holding back, I have a tournament to win and it begins with you. I know there are those of you who aren’t happy to see me lacing up my boots once again, and you know what that’s fine. You’re entitled to that opinion, but it won’t change anything.

Lucas smirks.

Lucas Knight: “Because I’m hear now, I’ve heard the crowd. Took a peak earlier and expected more but it’s alright it brings back memories of the days when I wrestled without a care in the world. So that’s what I’ll do tonight, and every night leading up to Under Attack should progress tonight. You think your big time, you’re going go down big time. This is MY time, MY moment, MY history in the making. This is for my boy Caleb, you wanted to see your pop’s wrestle enjoy the show son because together you and I are going all the way to the finals.

Lucas grins and salutes the camera before kissing two fingers and touching the camera lens, he then spins on his heels and walks towards the gorilla position entrance. Soon as he parts the first set of curtains, the opening to Alpha King by Rev Theory hits.

Lucas Knight vs. David Callahan

We switch to ring side. Then and only then we see a series of words in italic writing phase in and out on the big screen…

.Infamous.

.British.

.Legendary.

Spotlights all start to focus on the stage entrance now changing colors, shades of red, white and blue and during that time a silhouette of a man can be seen walking out onto the stage with a familiar aura of confidence. Just then the final words explode onto the tron causing the crowd to react accordingly as the music hits into full swing…

.LUCAS KNIGHT.

The crowds mixture of cheers and boos fill the arena as the lights come back on fully to show Lucas Knight standing on the stage looking at the crowd, he wears a black robe with red trimmings. He turns to his right and the crowd reacts with another mixed reaction as Trinity Street walks onto the stage beside him, the two look into each others eyes before turning to look down at the ring as Phillips brings about the introduction.

Phillips: “Ladies and Gentleman, hailing from Santa Monica, California. He weighs in tonight at two-hundred and thirty pounds. Being Accompanied to the ring by Trinity Street, He is the 2015 Trios Winner, He is the Alpha King, LUCAS KNIGHT!!”

Just then video of Lucas career plays out on the tron as the music ramps up even more. The couple begin to walk down towards the ring ignoring the calls from the fans at the aisles. Once they reach the bottom, Lucas walks up the steps and along the apron before sitting on the middle rope allowing Trinity to enter first. Lucas follows and instantly climbs the nearest corner and takes off the robe with another smirk on his face before tossing it down at ringside. Trinity looks out at the crowd along with Lucas after he steps down and the two head over to the corner to discuss strategy after Trinity climbs back out onto the apron. She steps down and goes to stand by the table with Knight’s rum-related merchandise on it.

Jessica Winters: “Trinity Street is out here. You’re seeing a lot of cameos tonight.

Adam Allocco: “Lucas Knight wants to push deep into the tournament so he can go back to contending with his former rivals, including now business partner, David Helms.

Jessica Winters: “Who happened to advanced in the tournament, early tonight.

“Feel Good Inc” by Leo Moracchioli begins to play throughout the arena as David Callahan steps out from behind the curtains carrying what appears to be a flamethrower. He doesn’t get much of a reaction until he turns it on while raising it in the air. This causes some in the front to panic as a stream of flames come up.

David Callahan: “Please love me! Will you cheer if I show you my dick?!

The crowd boos. Scowling he raises the flamethrower up once more before turning as three officials appear from the back and pull the flamethrower away from him. The crowd boos them too. Shrugging he makes his way down the ramp.

Phillips: “From from Detroit, Michigan, he wants you to know he’s residing in a soup kitchen near you, The Spectacular Mr. Employed, David Callahan!

Reaching ringside he quickly slides in before sitting on the middle rope and spinning into the ring. He runs over toward a turnbuckle facing the audience and throws one hand up in the air, seemingly intentionally trying to be as lame as he possibly can be. Jumping down he adjusts his tights before sticking one hand down around his genitalia, appearing to scratch away before pulling his hand out to smell it.

Jessica Winters: “I’m starting to see Knight’s assessment of David Callahan to be dead on.

Adam Allocco: “Good thing I had them position the booth up here by the stage, instead of down there. That man looks like a methhead if I ever seen on.

Jessica Winters: “David Callahan wants to play spoiler tonight but that’s a tall order. Lucas Knight is a reknown wrestler…

Lucas Knight slump his shoulders, grinning as if he’s in almost disbelief at David Callahan. David Callahan is paying him zero attention, picking his nose in the corner. Lucas eyes Trinity before stepping forward as the bell rings. The bell seems to alert the monkey as David turns but doesn’t have time to react as Lucas Knight crashes into him, pressing him against the turnbuckle. Lucas Knight leads him away, hip tosses him onto the canvas hard. David Callahan arches his back in pain as he finds his feet. David turns, throwing a fist but Lucas Knight runs underneath the extended arm, runs the ropes. On the rebound, takes David off his feet with a lariat. Lucas Knight pops back up, extends his arms, waves his hands as the crowd starts to cheer him.

Adam Allocco: “The cheers are much louder right now than the boos. I think they actually missed the bastard!

Jessica Winters: “Early going has been all Knight.

Adam Allocco: “I did David Callahan by letting him into this tournament, he better not muck this up by turning out to be complete slouch with Sophie James.

David Callahan shakes his head, pushes himself up onto his feet. Lucas Knight casually walks over him, there’s knee to the gut of David. He pulls back and there’s a stiff elbow to the face of David Callahan. Callahan stumbles back but responds with a right. Another right. Referee warns him of the closed fist as Lucas Knight steps back. David shrugs and goes for a haymaker but Lucas Knight sidesteps out of the way. David stumbles forward and he turns, walking right into Lucas, who hoists him up onto his shoulder and leaps backwards for the samoan drop. Lucas Knight dusts his shoulders off as if this is no big deal and hooks the leg:

Jessica Winters: “Samoan drop and then a pin attempt by Knight!

1…
2…

Jessica Winters: “David Callahan kicks out!

Adam Allocco: “Lucas Knight is in cruise control right now, and he’s styling all the way.

Jessica Winters: “David Callahan is looking outclassed so far.

David Callahan rolls out of the ring. He stumbles, trying to collect himself. Lucas Knight hops out of the ring to pursue him. David doesn’t see him from behind and Lucas Knight grabs a hold of his head and bashes it against the ring post. David Callahan stumbles backwards, he’s snagged by Lucas Knight, exploder suplex on the outside. David Callahan is laid out. Lucas Knight walks over to the table now and Trinity Street hands him a bottle of his rum.

Jessica Winters: “Come on Knight, you can’t use your own bottle as a weapon. You’ll be disqualified. You have this in the bag.

Adam Allocco: “Damn… I knew there was a reason why Lucas asked for that table to be set up.

Jessica Winters: “Come on now!

Lucas Knight raises the bottle over his head and goes to swing it down onto David but he stops. He laughs, wagging his finger as he looks into the ringside camera. “It’s too good to waste!” Lucas Knight lowers the bottle to post with his face before unscrewing and taking a swig. He hands it back to Trinity as by this time he has given David Callahan some time to regroup.

Jessica Winters: “And you acted like my earlier endorsement was a cheap plug. What is this?

Adam Allocco: “Marketing, baby! Someone give Lucas Knight a job!

David Callahan pulls himself using the ring skirt. Lucas Knight spins him around and delivers an European Uppercut. He takes David by the head and rolls him underneath the bottom rope. Lucas Knight takes his sweet time strutting up the ring steps. He climbs into the ring and drops down for the pin:

1…
2…

David Callahan gets the shoulder up. Lucas Knight shakes his head, acting that the kick out a major inconvenience to him. He stands to his feet and watches David Callahan find his feet. He grabs David by the arm, rams his shoulder in a few times. Lucas Knight leans backwards and for the third shoulder, tries to put something special in. David rolls forward, scooping Knight up for a roll up. He gets his feet up on the ropes but the referee doesn’t see it!

Jessica Winters: “Surprise pin!

1…
2…

Adam Allocco: “Don’t get cocky, Lucas!

3-

Jessica Winters: “David Callahan almost stole the victory. Both Lucas Knight and Trinity Street are shocked! The crowd is stunned! That was awfully close!

Lucas Knight shouts something to the referee and immediately rushes over David Callahan and stomps down onto him. David Callahan again retreats, rolling out to the outside where he drops down to one knee. Lucas Knight hops out of the ring and walks up, but David Callahan with drop toehold, sending Lucas Knight face first into the steel steps. David Callahan climbs up onto the top rope as Knight stands to his feet. He runs the full length the apron and hurtles a knee strike to knock Knight off his feet on the outside. Trinity Street seems to be debating on the outside to intervene. David Callahan backpedals. Lucas Knight is up on his feet, touching the side of his head and there’s David Callahan again, this time, catching Lucas Knight with a running DDT. Knight’s head hits the mat on the outside with a thud. Callahan shouts something to the crowd before rolling back into the ring.

Jessica Winters: “David Callahan taking advantage of the exterior of the ring. The referee is only now counting out Lucas Knight.

Adam Allocco: “David Callahan is showing some life and he seems amped up now, ready to go.

Jessica Winters: “Lucas Knight is slow to get up after getting his skull driven. You skimped out on that floor padding, didn’t you?

Adam Allocco: “Never!

Lucas Knight is back up. He loosens up on the outside before marching up the steps again and stepping into the ring. David Callahan immediately ambushes him with forearms. Lucas Knight pushes him back. David Callahan runs forward and Lucas Knight goes to dump him over the top rope but Callahan floats over onto the apron. He grabs Knight’s head from behind and jumps down while letting Knight’s head bounces awkwardly off the top rope. Knight stumbles forward as Callahan slides into the ring and takes Knight down with a bulldog! He pushes Knight over and covers:

Jessica Winters: “Upset coming? The pin!

1…
2…

Jessica Winters: “Lucas Knight just tosses David Callahan off him.

Adam Allocco: “The aggressive behavior from David is exactly. There’s that edge to him.

David Callahan is up and swarms Knight as Knight tries to get back up, just wailing away with forearms. Knight shoves him back to stand. David Callahan backpedals and leaps for a crossbody takedown but the much bigger Lucas Knight catches him. He swings David’s over for slam before backing up into the corner. He stalks David Callahan, waving his arms for him to stand to his feet. Lucas Knight comes charging forward, Yakauza Kick attempt but David reads it. Lucas Knight stumbles forwards and David Callahan dives forward to clip his knee, trying to hyperextend. Knight falls to the mat, holding his left knee. As Knight checks his knee, David Callahan comes up behind with a stiff kick to the back. Knight goes down, holding his back but Callahan brushes away his arm and stomps down onto that lower back.

Adam Allocco: “David Callahan might have done his homework. There’s been a lot of speculation about Knight’s back not being 100%, thus why he hasn’t been active.

Jessica Winters: “And we don’t know what the condition of that knee.

Adam Allocco: “We might see an upset brewing right now.

Lucas Knight powers through and with both hands shoves David, sending him flying. Knight stumbles, holding his knee. David flies forward but right into a sitout spinebuster from Knight. Knight doesn’t follow up with a pin instead rolls over to the ropes, and sits up. He pulls himself up and Trinity hops up. Both seem to be discussing something. David Callahan stands as Trinity nods and hops off the apron. Lucas Knight steps forward gingerly, waving David Callahan forward. David Callahan comes again, Lucas Knight lowers his shoulder but David boots him in the face. Lucas Knight falls back into the corner. David runs forward and leaps but Knight dodges. David bounces off the corner stumbles back into a release german suplex, but immediately when he releases, he drops to a knee, holding that knee. David Callahan meanwhile is down.

Adam Allocco: “Maybe that knee is the issue right here. Lucas Knight can’t put much pressure onto it.

Jessica Winters: “You think that’s what he was discussing with Trinity.

Adam Allocco: “He is hitting David Callahan with some offense but hasn’t been able to capitalize. David might have hyperextended the knee.

Knight turns towards David who is slow to get. David smiles, as if he knows that Knight is hurt. He charges forward and Knight counters the attack but tossing David up into the air. Unionjack! David bounces up and rolls but is laid out. Lucas Knight fights through the pain and approaches David, covers and goes for the pin:

Jessica Winters: “Union Jack! The pin!

1…
2…
3!

Adam Allocco: “No! David Callahan gets his leg on the bottom rope.

Jessica Winters: “Lucas Knight thought he had finished. The longer this match goes, the more worrisome that knee injury seems to be.

Adam Allocco: “As I said that Knight can’t capitalize on the work he’s laying down, David Callahan has yet to be able to take advantage of Knight’s injury.

Lucas Knight curses as he fights to his feet. He pulls David Callahan up but Callahan reaches up and grabs him by the balls. Lucas Knight shakes his head, the referee ordering to Callahan to let go. Callahan shakes his head no as the referee counts. Knight swings at him and David lets go. Knight misses as David ducks down underneath. Knight is slow to turn but when he does, Informal Introduction and Lucas Knight hangs on the top rope in pain.

Jessica Winters: “Lucas Knight is in a world of pain right now!

Adam Allocco: “David just dropped him onto the top rope. He’s hanging on there.

David Callahan runs from one side of the ring the next, comes in with a leg lariat. Knight drops down but holds onto the top rope to remain on the apron. Trinity Street hurries over to him and checks on him. The camera zooms on the bottle of rum she placed in on his hand. Trinity then circle around before standing up on the apron as if she’s going to enter.

Jessica Winters: “What is this?

Adam Allocco: “Lucas Knight! That dog! He’s going to steal this!

Referee goes to stop Trinity from entering. Lucas Knight cradles the bottom as he rolls back into the ring. David Callahan looks at Trinity who is basically holding onto the referee then to Lucas Knight. He knows something’s at play. He backs up into the corner. Lucas Knight swings the bottle of rum at him overhand, the bottle smashes over the top turnbuckle as David jumps out of the way. Lucas Knight turns and David Callahan boots him swiftly in the balls.  Lucas Knight falls back against the ropes, holding top of the broken rum bottle. The referee manages to free himself from Trinity and turns. David suddenly tosses himself into the broken glass and yells in pain.

Jessica Winters: “What is this?!

Adam Allocco: “David’s trying to con the system! The referee thinks Lucas Knight actually hit David over the head with the bottle.

Jessica Winters: “Lucas Knight did try to but he didn’t succeed! Lucas Knight is breathless after David punted him in the gonads.

Adam Allocco: “David is bleeding. The referee is calling for the bell.

The referee tosses Lucas Knight out. He’s in complete disbelief, finally able to speak. He tries to explain the situation, but the referee doesn’t belief.

Jessica Winters: “Cant you over turn that decision? You saw firsthand that technically Lucas Knight didn’t shatter. That David orchestrated all of this.

Adam Allocco: “I could… but at least with Helms still in the tournament right? At least one sponsor is still around. That’s all I need.

Lucas Knight suddenly takes the referee and hits the Knight-Driver! David Callahan sees Lucas Knight turn towards him and rolls out of the ring. He limps forward, holding that knee. David rolls out of the ring and begins to retreat up the ramp, plucking pieces of glass from his arm and shoulder as Trinity steps in to have some words with Lucas.

Jessica Winters: “What an upset! Lucas Knight has been disqualified. The crowd is stunned. There are boos. But he took it out on the referee.

Adam Allocco: “Now my hands are tied. Lucas Knight attacked a tournament official. I probably should call security before he turns his attention on me…

Lucas Knight nods, agreeing to whatever Trinity had to say. They both decide to leave.

Jessica Winters: “So far three matches are in the books, including an upset victory only seconds ago.

Adam Allocco: “That’s the nature of this tournament. Upsets are going to be head, and that could very well be  the case in the fourth match of the 2019 God of Wrestling tournament.

Jessica Winters: “Former SCW World Champion, Wrestling Legend, Thirteen clashes against newcomer Alban McConnell. We caught Alban earlier in the day and he had a lot to say in regards to this match and to this tournament.

Backstage
The scene opens to Alban McConnell in his wrestling gear, ready for war, speaking very calm, looking at the camera.

Alban McConnell: “This has always been the problem with Thirteen, he makes it about him and no one else. Thirteen, yer memory doesn’t serve ya very well brotha, as ya were the first true superstar in the SCW, Kelcey Wallace defeated in early 2013, that’s right, she legitimized her name off yers. Wresslin’ much like life has a way in comin’ full circle. See, Thirteen, yer right about one thing, I could give a damn about yer history with the D’s and the current management, that is yer cross ta bear, not mine. This misconception here is thinkin’ that I am some springboard fer yer dramatic and successful return.

Ya had that chance many times over and each one thrown by the wayside.

Alban McConnell: “What this is now is a fool’s quest, ya should have stayed gone, kept yer respectability and continued livin’ in the hype yer name created. Ya said it best, yer already a God of Wresslin’, this is simply all an ego trip ta sell yerself by pretendin’ ya actually have a chance to win this? The minute ya drew my name, those chances became dreams. Let me explain ta ya somethin’, this is not about mere revenge, this is about a woman who became everythin’ ya wish ya were. Question her belief in Perfection by lyin’ ta yerself and others, it led her ta beat ya on multiple occasions. I was the reason she pursued this career and how it ended fer her so quickly.

I am not here fer revenge, brotha…. I am here fer atonement.

Alban McConnell: “There is nothin’ that hurts more than failin’ the woman ya loved and cherished fer so many years. They did her wrong, they ALL did her wrong and I did NOTHIN’ ta stop it. Her family, friends, they were here, they could have stopped it and didn’t. Thirteen, the journey to that said atonement starts now brotha and I can’t let ya get in the way of me facin’ possibly Lucas Knight. Thirteen, ya can have all the aspirations and intentions ta claim the God or Wresslin’ as yer own. All fer braggin’ rights? Ta solidify the claim ya already have, this is why?

Don’t play coy, brotha….

Alban McConnell: “It has nothin’ ta do with Sasha, Mr. D and rest of the family, I watched ya compete at Takin’ Hold of the Flame, didn’t seem like they mined at all ya bein’ in the ring. Instead, yer history and climb ta the World Championship tells a good story, we can all roast marshmallows around the campfire and talk about the greatness of Thirteen. Know what ya can’t do?

Alban McConnell: “Talk about Alban McConnell….

But after this tournament?

Ya will.

Alban McConnell: “I’m gonna start at the very top, with a former SCW World Champion like ya. Set the precedence, send the message and watch them all fear my name the minute it pops up on their bracket. See, brotha, everyone is involved someway, some form, somehow and I plan ta show Kelcey and all those that have wronged her, this is MY ticket, my path to make inta a promotion they don’t want ta see me in. There are many prayin’ that ya take me down, there are those who don’t want ta deal with Alban McConnell. The way I look at it Thirteen, ya drew te short straw. While ya have this passion, in many ways to perfection, ya want ta win them all, right?

I have this hunger.

Alban McConnell: “Maybe I won’t get past ya, maybe I will but I can promise ya this, I will break yer fuckin; neck if I must ta get to the next round. Yer legacy and accomplishments while impressive, don’t phase me. Legends, Icons, Hall of Famers, those are all titles, words ta describe men and woman who are idolized, none of them used fer me and it’s okay because when it comes down ta my fist in yer face, Thirteen, those words mean nothing ta broken bones. I am here fer a purpose greater than some “trophy” or becoming a “God”, as Thirteen, yer smart enough ta know the world we live in is that of Gods and Monsters…

 “Go ahead and play “God”….

Alban McConnell: “I’ll be the Monster of this tournament and round by round, I will leave destruction in it’s wake. I am not lookin’ past ya Thirteen, I know how this ends. I didn’t come all the way here ta fail, look her in the eye, havin’ that conversation again because ya have no idea what I is like to lose the woman ya love and then see her fall at the hands of her loved ones and do nothin’ about it due ta the fact she’s sick. I walked away from the sport when she did…

And now I am back shamed, dishonorable and most of all enraged.

Alban McConnell: “I don’t care if they take me serious or not, whatever the challenge, whoever the opponent, I will barrel over until I get what I want. Thirteen, yer the perfect first round opponent. I will show ya no remorse and they will all witness a massacre. I WILL NOT be denied and when I made the decision ta enter this, trust me brotha my name was first on the list knowin’ the legends couldn’t pass it up. I failed once and was shunned by the many mistakes I made…

Alban McConnell: “It is time ta erase those mistakes and I will wipe them clean with the blood of my enemies. Thirteen, there is no script, I never followed one. There is no narrative, ya can’t change the inevitable and there is rules or laws that will stop me from havin’ the honor of buryin’ the legend that’s Thirteen. There is only one-way outta this, brotha….

The Highlander Way.

And I do it…. Fer Kelcey.

His blue eyes narrow, biting down on his jaw before slowly walking toward the ring. We cut back to the broadcast table.

Adam Allocco: “A major topic backstage in this tournament has been the state of Kelcey Wallace, a very close associate of Alban. This tournament is filled with people who Alban thinks could have done more for the former SCW great.

Jessica Winters: “But he’s going up against Thirteen, a man we all know is dangerous as they come. Let’s hear what he has to say about this tournament.

Backstage
We open up to a shot backstage in one of the locker rooms, though it looks like the lights have been dimmed to a point where we’ve just barely got enough for a visual. This is probably a light level that can’t normally be obtained in any one room of the Indiana Farmers Coliseum, but the man we’re here to see probably could care less and has already dealt with or plans to deal with whatever fines may come his way to get his desired result. We find Thirteen seated in a metal folding chair in the center of the room, arms crossed as he stares emotionlessly into the camera. Surrounding him are a couple of laptops that he’s popped up on benches and chairs and within lockers as well, all playing clips from some of his past matches, most of which show him in the middle of choking the life out of someone with the Last Breath. One or two of these videos, however, are instead playing non-wrestling clips from some of the moments in the story that gained him infamy withing the annals of SCW’s history.

Thirteen: “Once upon a time, I was a name on everyone’s lips. Regardless of the reasoning, if you knew anything about this sport then you certainly knew my name. I was a champion everywhere I went, slowly building myself from the ground up, going from a kid off the streets with nothing to his name to being one of the greatest technicians the wrestling business has ever seen. How many people can truly claim they started off in this business with nothing, not even the most basic formal training of how to operate inside the squared circle, and built their own legacy from scratch?

Thirteen: “If anyone else in this tournament made such claims, I promise you they’re lying through their teeth.

Thirteen: “I’ve come a long way since those days, and over the years I, like many out there, have needed to evolve and adapt to the changing landscape of the business. There was a period of time when fear was easy to command if you knew what to exploit, but over the past few years, it’s become abundantly clear the concept of being afraid of what stands across the ring from you has lost all its meaning. It’s simply become another idea beaten into the ground by those who have overplayed their hand without any clear idea of what they are doing. I have no reason to fear anybody even if this wasn’t the case, simply because I’ve lived the kind of life that would have most people wondering how I’m even still on this Earth, but I recognize that trying to make people fear me is simply a lost cause now.”

Thirteen slowly rises to a stand, taking a moment to glimpse at the fragments of his past as they keep playing on loop, almost like a lingering message of what could be to come.

Thirteen: “That is why I am not asking Alban McConnell to fear me… I am asking him to respect me.

As soon as he says those words, all the laptops suddenly shut off, leaving the dimmed lights as our only source of illumination now. Thirteen slowly approaches the camera, his eyes narrowing into a focused glare.

Thirteen: “Alban, I don’t care what you claim to be or how you believe I don’t possibly stack up to you because I’ve heard it all before. You’re far from the first ‘savage’ I’ve faced and certainly not the last time I will ever compete against some big, powerful bruiser claiming he’s going to brutalize me. Even if there is some truth to those words… take a good look at every scar that runs along my body. I have been broken and pieced back together in ways that would make even you question what keeps me going. I don’t say these things because I’m trying to make you afraid of what you’re about to face, but because I want you to understand WHY your best efforts simply will not be enough to give you what you truly desire out of this match.

Thirteen: “You cannot break what is already broken, after all.

Thirteen: “You and I actually aren’t that different after all, Alban. We both seek to reclaim what we feel has been stolen from us by others, even if exactly what we are after differs greatly. You aim to restore the honor you feel has been mocked towards someone close to you, while I am after the respect that has been taken from me by a company desperate to bury all traces of my legacy in hopes of a fresh start. There is one very distinct difference in what we are after, however… unlike you and the people you are truly after within these brackets, my purpose does not get taken away from me if certain matches do not end with specific people winning the day. To that end, if your endgame is not to become God of Wrestling, then by the time you see this you may have already lost your opportunity before even getting a crack at those you believe are in the wrong. I am not one of those people… nor do I have any intention of leaving that ring without making sure even a savage understands and respects what I am capable of.

Thirteen glares into the camera a moment longer, letting his words sink in before he reaches into one of the lockers and grabs his jacket, throwing it on as he aggressively takes his leave, letting our scene fade to black.

Jessica Winters: “Thirteen seems locked in and loaded. And that doesn’t spell well for Alban McConnell.

Adam Allocco: “We already saw one upset, but let’s see if there’s going to be another. Interesting enough, Alban McConnell might be a little upset that he didn’t get to see Lucas Knight next round if he does win. Instead, the winner goes on to face David Callahan.

Jessica Winters: “Can’t believe you haven’t proceeded to overturn that decision.

Adam Allocco: “Hey, wrestling is old school, we don’t do replays here. Also, you acted like Lucas Knight was trying to do David Callahan dirty.”:

Jessica Winters: “We’re about to start the fourth match of the first round in the God of Wrestling 2019 tournament…

Alban McConnell vs. Thirteen
The arena goes dark, as the video package of Alban McConnell plays after the Flag of Scotland is shown waving with scenes of the Highlands of Scotland while the epic intro to the theme plays. The Bagpipes solo from “Bagpipes of War” by Skiltron start to play as the chorus kicks in. “The Scottish Savage” Alban McConnell slowly walks out with a scowl on his face. He doesn’t even pay attention to the fans, where he gets a mixed response, many Kelcey Wallace fans cheer for him, others know just what he is capable of doing.

Phillips: “The following contest is a first-round match in the God of Wrestling Tournament scheduled for one fall!

Crowd: “ONE FALL!”

Phillips: “Introducing first from Ayr, Scotland, weighing in at 285 lbs.! He is the Scottish Savage… Alban McConnell!

Alban stops for a moment, looking around at the crowd before climbing up on the apron, he stands there again for a moment, before stepping over the ropes and stepping up on the middle turnbuckle, slowly raising his arms as the camera flashes cover the crowd.

He drops down and starts to get his gear off, slapping his chest and making the sign of “Ten” for Kelcey, getting a cheer from the crowd, awaiting the match.

Jessica Winters: “And here comes the virtual unknown for many here in the SCW though you cannot sleep on this man by size alone. Six foot eight and almost three hundred pounds. The ties to SCW Hall of Famer, Kelcey Wallace cannot be ignored. He has a purpose; will he be able to get through possibly the toughest road to become the God of Wrestling?

Adam Allocco: “Now THIS is a man! Look how big and sweaty and muscular he is! This is a MAN’S MAN inside the ring and he is taking on a future Hall of Fame wrestler in Thirteen. Now, Kelcey Wallace…. She was Perfect in every way, those eyes….”

Jessica Winters: “Adam… please?

Adam Allocco: “Well, all you had to do was ask.”

The lights in the arena go out, prompting a small surprised pop from the fans. After a few moments, the haunting piano opening of “Legacy” by Motionless in White overtakes the sound system as deep purple lighting and smoke begin to engulf the stage. As the drumbeats kick in before the lyrics begin, white lights begin flashing on the stage in rhythm. On the tron we see a slow, grainy black-and-white recap of various highlights of the career of the man about to grace us with his presence. Slowly, Thirteen begins to emerge from the smoke and make his way to the edge of the stage, an emotionless look in his eyes as he stares out at the buzzing fans. When the song hits the chorus, the figure drops to his knees and whips his head and hair back, lifting his arms in a familiar pose of being extended with his palms facing towards the ring, the motion causing an explosion of fire to his sides that continue to burst from the stage in tune with the music as the fans go ballistic at the sight of the dark legend.

Phillips: “His opponent from New York City, NY.! Weighing in at 210 lbs.! The Angel of Death….. Thirteen!

Slowly he rises to his feet and begins his march to the ring, listening to the fans cheering him on but keeping his focus on the task at hand. He leaps up onto the apron and steps between the ropes quickly before going to the center of the ring where he slowly runs his thumb across his throat before giving a thumbs down, giving a malicious smile as he does so. He proceeds to start removing his jacket as he awaits the start of the impending match staring at McConnell who stares right back unimpressed.

Jessica Winters: “There is the stare down and Thirteen, the epitome of dangerous, former World Champion and a wrestler who has beaten the best in the SCW, a favorite in this God of Wrestling tournament and a menacing presence at that.

Adam Allocco: “Thirteen is a badass but look at the Scottish Savage! I know Thirteen, I have been in the ring while Thirteen was just starting out and saw the future in this young man but what does Alban? The unknown, he can study Thirteen, has the former World Champion done the same. Holy hell… Jessica I just thought of something!?

Jessica Winters: “What is that, Adam?

Adam Allocco: “Kelcey Wallace is SINGLE!

Jessica Winters: “Oh brother.

Alban takes off his kilt and jacket, Thirteen paces the ring, keeping his eyes on Alban McConnel. The referee checks both men before calling for the bell and the beginning of the match. They circle the ring, Thirteen locks up with McConnell who quickly pushes him so hard that Thirteen lands on the mat, standing up and nodding before circling again, they lock up, Thirteen drops to one knee to get some leverage, trying to push Alban to the corner but he picks up Thirteen and throws him into the turnbuckle, charging in but Thirteen steps out of the way, Alban hits the breaks, he turns and Thirteen tries for a hip toss, Alban stops him and tosses Thirteen instead half way across the ring as the crowd ohh’s. Thirteen surprised by the Scottish brute strength helps himself up from the mat with the help from the ropes. Alban gestures him to come forward, Thirteen smirks, this time as they go to tie up again, Thirteen rolls behind Alban, with a waist lock, Alban grabs Thirteen’s hands and pries them from his waist, Thirteen looks on in disbelief and Alban’s strength.

Adam Allocco: “Look at the strength of Alban.

Alban turns around and scoops Thirteen up slamming him into the mats hard, Thirteen gets up and Alban hoists him up again over his shoulders about to deliver a Snake Eyes but Thirteen pushes him chest first into the turnbuckle, quickly rolling up the 6’8” almost 300 pound monster for the cover…

 1!

 2!

 Alban kicks out with authority!

Jessica Winters: “Thirteen is probably using that brain of his work, thinking what’s the best way to put this Scottish giant to sleep.

Adam Allocco: “Thirteen’s one of the smartest tacticians in the game. He will figure something out.

Thirteen grabs the leg and sweeps Alban but the Scottish Savage doesn’t fall, instead he forearms Thirteen in the back, clubbing him hard a few times, the former World Champion stumbles some, he grabs Thirteen and Irish Whips him against the ropes. Alban ducks but Thirteen is able to get him in a small package…

1!

2!

Jessica Winters: “Juist two! Again, Thirteen traps him into a pin!

Thirteen Clotheslines McConnell, he staggers back a little, Thirteen goes for another Clothesline causing Alban to stumble back more, he runs against the ropes and this time Alban tries a clothesline, Thirteen ducks, McConnell turns around and is met with a kick to the stomach, he bends over and Thirteen delivers a DDT floating over right into a pin….

1!

2!

Alban Kicks Out!

Thirteen rolls to his feet and watches the big man slowly get up.

Jessica Winters: “How strong is this man!? The question is though how much more can he take as Thirteen gets better as the match continues! Alban McConnell, it’s like hitting iron!

Adam Allocco: “Thirteen is trying and that DDT might have hurt Alban some but that big bastard isn’t going down easily, hence why Thirteen is a former World Champion!

Alban gets up, Thirteen locks him for a suplex, he goes to lift him but Alban holds, he quickly switches to a belly to belly suplex but again Alban holds, Thirteen then adjust once again behind McConnell and tries a Belly to Back Suplex but McConnell instead runs back ramming Thirteen into the turnbuckle, the then turns around and traps Thirteen’s arms, Slughorn. Trapping headbutts on Thirteen, he falls to the mats, Alban runs against the ropes and hits a leg drop pointing to the referee to count…

1!

2!

Thirteen Kicks Out!

Jessica Winters: “McConnell doing his best impression of a ram there, just headbutting Thirteen.

Adam Allocco: “Thirteen could be rattled. McConnell’s now going and once he’s going, I bet it’s like trying to stop a fright train.

Alban rolls back to his feet, he picks up Thirteen by the hair, this time he locks him and delivers a Belly to Belly Suplex on Thirteen, he again hooks the leg for the cover…

1!

Thirteen Kicks Out!

Alban wastes no time, he grabs Thirteen and goes to deliver a forearm but Thirteen blocks it, he delivers one of his own, Alban falls back, Thirteen then hits the Scythe Slash, taking Alban off his feet, the crowd roars as Thirteen jumps on McConnell for the cover…

 Alban Gets a Shoulder Up!

Jessica Winters: “What does Thirteen need to do to keep this monster down! Driven by Kelcey Wallace and her honor, you saw what he said about her, why he is in this tournament and we also heard what Thirteen said, he wants Alban to respect him and so far he is making a great case for it, though everything he has tried has come harder than normal!

Adam Allocco: “Thirteen is a man that is respected but Jessica, nothing drives a man or a monster more than a beautiful woman like Kelcey…. She is single…

Jessica Winters: “Yes, we know you said that, and she is also in a coma!

Thirteen wastes no time, going for the Chain of Bad Luck, wrapping the Figure Four, Alban tries to turn it quickly but Thirteen adjusts, letting go for a second and adjusting into an Ankle Lock, Alban screams in pain, using strength to try and crawl to the ropes, Thirteen tries to finish the hold with the Single Boston Crab but Alban reaches the ropes, the referee calls for the break…

Thirteen breaks the hold. The referee warns Thirteen who steps aside him and grabs McConnell who hoists Thirteen up in the air and as he comes down hits The Perfect Strike!

Jessica Winters: “Just like Kelcey Wallace! Ode to her Perfect Strike! Thirteen didn’t see that coming!

Adam Allocco: “Alban has taken advantage! Wait, what is the big man doing!? He is going for the Scottish Claymore!

Thirteen slowly gets up as Alban waits to strike him. He gets to his feet and turns, Alban tries to land the Claymore but no, Thirteen shifts out of the way, Alban lands on his feet, he turns around and Thirteen kicks him in the gut, he underhooks the arms….going for Broken Wings, he tries to power him up but no, Alban muscles him over in a back body drop but Thirteen lands on his feet, Alban quickly turns as he tries to charge in but Alban catches Thirteen with The Highlander Way! The crowd roars, some boo…

Jessica Winters: “The Highlander Way! He planted Thirteen, this could be the biggest upset of the tournament!

Adam Allocco: “This could be it!

Alban hooks the leg for the cover….

The bell sounds and Alban rolls off on his knees, and brushes his hair back as the crowd stands there in a shock. “Bagpipes of War” by Skiltron as he smirks, slowly standing up as the referee raises his arm the winner. Thirteen stirs as Alban stares him down before stepping on the second rope and raising his arm, gingerly walking on his leg….

Adam Allocco: “WOW! What an upset and Thirteen is gone in the First Round to a virtual unknow in the world of the SCW! I told you a beautiful woman can make a man into a GOD!

Jessica Winters: “We are all in shock, the crowd can’t believe it but Alban McConnel did the impossible and he goes on to Round 2! What a win for Alban and what a showing for Thirteen. Do you think Alban respects Thirteen now?”

Adam Allocco: “I don’t think that man respects anyone and that makes him one of the most dangerous men in this tournament.

Jessica Winters: “An incredible win for Alban, we’ll be right back.”

Alban drops from the ropes and looks over at Thirteen who rolls over, staring back up at Alban. The huge Scotsman gives him a nod and leaves the ring toward the back

Jessica Winters: “Another upset that probably busted some brackets. The crowd is silent. They’re reeling in disbelief.

Adam Allocco: “Let’s take a moment to thank tonight’s sponsors. Infamously Dangerous Spiced Rum is not only delicious but it has Lucas Knight’s and David Helm’s mugs on the label. He’s probably using the wonderful elixir to help ease the pain.

Jessica Winters: “And Supreme Championship Wrestling, you can catch Breakdown almost weekly, every Wednesday Night.

Adam Allocco: “Looking forward, we have Jessica Lasiewicz taking on Lyza Reyes… let’s hear what Lyza had to say earlier this evening about tonight’s match.

Backstage
We cut backstage where the camera spots a view of a gorgeous redhead clothed in form fitting wrestling attire.  She is sitting on a blue steel folding chair and has a deck of cards in her hands, which she shuffles continuously.  Sitting on the ground next to her is a championship belt, which one can safely assume belongs to her.  The red haired female looks up at the camera and we can see that this is none other than “The Archangel” Jessica Lasiewicz.  She continues to shuffle even as she speaks at the camera.

Jessica Lasiewicz: “Do you know what my favorite game is?

Jessica chuckles.

Jessica Lasiewicz: “I bet Reyes could guess even without the use of this fairly obvious hint.”

The redhead nods her head.

Jessica Lasiewicz: “Yes, I absolutely love to play poker.  I was trained how to play poker by the absolute best poker player I know; my father.  He loved the game so much he even made use of it to a degree in his wrestling career.  He named his submission finisher, an elevated figure four leg lock, The Four Card Trick.  Don’t be surprised if you see me attempting to utilize The Four Card Trick at some point during this tournament.

She winks.

Jessica Lasiewicz: “Do you know what is so difficult about poker?  The bluff.  Am I bluffing, Reyes, when I mention that I want to use The Four Card Trick tonight?  Am I bluffing when I seemingly point out my strategy for the world and more importantly for you, to hear?  Who knows?  Maybe I am bluffing or maybe I am just faking you out and I will do something entirely different.

But that’s just how poker works.  The luck of the draw, you could draw a good card, like a King…

She reaches into the deck and produces a King of Hearts

Jessica Lasiewicz: “…the King, with the lone exception of the ace, this card is the top card in your deck.   And all of these individuals in this God of Wrestling Tournament are vying to be that top card, the very best.  All want to be the King…

She tosses the King away and produces a Queen of Spades

Jessica Lasiewicz: “…or Queen?  In poker the Queen is inferior but in today’s age of professional wrestling women have proven themselves to be on equal footing with the men.  This tournament may crown a god of wrestling or maybe, just maybe, a GODDESS of wrestling.

She tosses the Queen away and produces a Jack.

Jessica Lasiewicz: “This Jack, what does it represent?  According to the Tex Ritter song ‘Deck of Cards’ it represents the devil.  And Reyes, look into my eyes and know that I am telling you the truth, I will be a DEVIL to deal with tonight because I will do whatever it takes to walk away a winner for the traditions and purity of the sport of professional wrestling.

Jessica tosses the rest of the cards away.

Jessica Lasiewicz: “I am sick of seeing the traditions and purity of professional wrestling being trampled upon.  This is why I cannot afford to lose this tournament, Reyes, and this is why I will not lose, not tonight and not ever again throughout the duration of this tournament.  From this first bell until the final bell in the finals I will fight, I will bleed, and I will pay the price for the purity of this sport.  And if I am unable to make it through to the end of my quest, if I am unable to achieve my goal, then know that just like the devil I will go down in flames and hell, I may just bring a third of heaven with me!

She gets up and walks off. We return to ringside where our announcers await.

Jessica Winters: “Jessica and Lyza are familiar with each other. Jessica Lasiewicz speaks of tradition and purity, but do you buy any of that?

Adam Allocco: “I buy that she’s very focused in and determined.

Jessica Winters: “A lot of crazy upsets have happened. Jessica’s resume is a little more impressive than Lyza, having been the top champion in many of the promotions she has gone through.

Adam Allocco: “You can’t count out anyone. Trust me, I’ve selected everyone and if they didn’t have a chance, they wouldn’t be here.

Backstage
Backstage at the Indiana Farmers’ Coliseum, the cameraman captures footage of the action happening behind-the-scenes as talent makes their way around the venue from point a to point b. Slowing down in the hallway where the locker rooms are located, there’s a door that’s been left wide open. The cameraman proceeds to enter the locker room and finds Lyza Reyes already dressed in her wrestling attire. She acknowledges the cameraman with a nod and a greeting while standing near a built-in unit for hanging coats and belongings.

Lyza Reyes:  “Hello, everyone and welcome to The Space Age. I am your guide, Lyza Reyes. Please be advised that prior to boarding, some effects can include disorientation, mild confusion, and haziness. What can I say? It’s part of the experience. If you were to seek an escape room in human form, look no further, darlings.

By now, some of you may have gotten a chance to see my formal introduction to the SCW faithful. If you haven’t, well now’s your chance to get comfortable and stick around because you’re in for a treat.

She takes a seat on the sofa before continuing.

Lyza Reyes: “I had a chance to check out my opponent’s on-camera shoot and was truly what I had anticipated. The next generation of the Lasiewiscz and Jones family is properly represented with this young woman who wishes to instill tradition in this craft where everyone seems to want to find the next big thing that hasn’t been done before. Miss Lasiewiscz.

My plan is to show up like a breath of fresh air and show that I’m in it for the opportunity to face one of the best in this business. I’d like to know who else dares to compare themselves to a god and thinks this tournament is their meal ticket to validation or something rather superficial.

Speaking of, I understand the hot takes on wrestlers that seem to do more on Twitter than in the ring as if one platform held more weight over the other. The ring should always be your number one priority as that is the place you need to make an impact in. Decisions on how much you’ll earn per match or what offers are sent your way are determined by your in-ring skill and not the number of likes received on a thirst trap with a cringe-worthy caption.

She shakes her head in disgust.

Lyza:  “Alright, Arcangel, you’ve made your points and it’s only a matter of getting in the ring to show one another what we have to offer. Show me this beast and I’ll take you on that journey to the Space Age.

The feed begins to zoom outward and before fading to the black, the camera mic picks up Lyza’s last word said in a whisper tone.

Lyza:  “Ultra.

The cameras return to the announce table.

Jessica Winters: “To put you on the spot. Who do you take in this contest if you were a betting man?

Adam Allocco: “You can’t overlook either one but given the roots and the resume, I think “The Archangel” Jessica Lasiewiscz is the favorite and that it’s going to be Lyza that’s trying to play spoiler. Both seem like they respect each other.

Jessica Winters: “The First Round of  the 2019 God of Wrestling continues here tonight, streaming live on Twitch!

Jessica Lasiewiscz vs. Lyza Reyes

Phillips: “The following match is part of the 2019 God of Wrestling tournament, scheduled for one fall and will abide by SCW Standard Rules and Regulation… Introducing first!

A black and white video vignette begins rolling on the screens, showing Lyza Reyes dressed as Charlie Chaplin on the moon. There is no dialogue, but simply piano music playing with the pace of the footage. She’s caught in the middle of a tug of war match between a U.S. Spaceman, and a small group of miniature aliens. Before determining which side pulls Lyza once and for all, the venue goes pitch black, and “In Distress” by A$AP Rocky featuring Gesaffelstein begins to play.

“I’m something out this world, nothing like the rest…”

She makes her way down the ramp, tagging a few hands along the way.

Phillips: “Weighing in at 128 pounds, from New York, New York! She is the Universally Dope, LYZA REYES!

She walks up the steel steps and positions herself in the center of the ring to scope out the audience. She points at fans also known as “Lyzanites,” in acknowledgment of their enthusiasm and admiration.

Jessica Winters: “Lyza seems to have a certain cult following in attendance tonight.

Adam Allocco: “They must have traveled here to see here live.

Phillips: “And here opponent…

“Unleashed” by Epica begins to play over the PA system. The Global Tron flashes to life as the phrase “The Archangel” appears on the screen followed by the name “Jessica Lasiewicz.” Jessica Jones steps out onto the stage. Two huge pyrotechnic shots go off behind her as she raises her arms high into the air.

Phillips: “Weighing in at 115 pounds… from Boston, Massachusetts… representing Global Championship Wrestling… she is the Archangel Jessica Lasiewicz!

After the pyro is over she begins to make her way down towards the ring; Jessica looking determined, her eyes tense as they gaze towards the ring. Jessica steps up on the steel steps and then steps over to the middle of the ring apron where she poses once more for the fans to loud cheers. She then steps through the ropes and steps to the center of the ring as the music dies down.

Jessica Winters: “Both women are looking on at each other. They’re serious.

Adam Allocco: “Of course they are! This is the God of Wrestling tournament. They want to win!

Lyza starts off immediately with a fury of martial arts kicks that stagger The Archangel backward against the ropes.  Lyza Irish whips her in and goes for a roundhouse kick but Jessica ducks, rebounds off the other side, and comes back with a scissors kick.  The Archangel goes for a suplex but Reyes floats over and counters with a dropkick, followed by another, and then a third that sends Lasiewicz rolling to the outside.

Jessica Winters: “Lyza Reyes launches the Archangel to the outside!

Adam Allocco: “Lyza Reyes showing some aggression in the early going of this contest!

Reyes doesn’t let her rest.  She goes charging in and leaps over the top with a suicide dive onto The Archangel.  Lyza pulls her up and rolls her back into the ring immediately.  Lyza with a springboard leg drop.  Lyza locks in a fujiwara arm bar.  The referee is in perfect position to check on a submission but Jessica says no.  Jessica tries to reach the ropes but Lyza won’t let her get there.  Jessica instead goes for a counter, rolling up Lyza into a quick cover…

1…Kickout!

Lyza with several shin kicks as Jessica rises to her feet.  Reyes with another attempted kick but Jessica catches the foot and then drills her with a capture suplex.  Jessica pulls her up and drops her with a Full Nelson release suplex.  Jessica continues to go for the neck area, connecting with a vicious lightning spiral.  Jessica locks in a neck vice.

Jessica Winters: “Smart move by Lasiewicz, trying to slow down the pace of this match, looking in a neck vice.

Adam Allocco: “Back and forth in the opening minutes of this contest.

After nearly a minute in the hold, Lyza fights to her feet.  Jessica switches to a side headlock.  She wrenches it in tight.  Lyza counters with a release German suplex, breaking the hold.  Lyza with a low dropkick to the face as Jessica is trying to get up.  Reyes locks in a Camel Clutch.

Adam Allocco: “Submission galore is going on, both showing off their technical poweress.

Jessica Winters: “Definitely a shaping out to be a competitive match.

Adam Allocco: “No one’s really talking control. Let’s see if that changes.

Again the referee gets into position to check on a submission but Jessica refuses to give in.  After about a minute, Jessica tries to power up. The intensity in her eyes resembles that of both her father and mother as she fights to her knees, then back to her feet with Reyes mounting her, switching into a modified sleeper.  Lasiewicz starts to fade but then she falls backward with all of her weight landing on top of Reyes, forcing the break.  Both are down and the count begins.

Reyes and Lasiewicz both roll over onto their stomachs.

5!

They start to push themselves up.

Reyes is up first followed shortly by Jessica.  Lyza attempts a superkick but Jessica catches the foot and drills her with a dragon screw leg whip.  Sensing her opponent’s leg is hurt, Jessica immediately locks in a leg grapevine.

Adam Allocco: “Another submission?

Jessica Winters: “Both are trying to wear the other down.

Adam Allocco: “Just imagine how much notoriety either one of these women will by winning the God of Wrestling tournament. Finally we receive the attention they deserve for their talent.

After nearly a minute, Jessica takes Lyza’s hurt leg, draped it on the bottom rope, and then leaps up, cannonballing her entire weight onto the hurt leg.  Jessica repeats this several times before dragging Lyza out to the center and applying an inverted figure four.

Jessica Winters: “The Archangel is focusing on the legs. Lyza’s in the center of the ring, in a world of hurt.

The referee is right there to check on a submission but Reyes refuses.  Jessica keeps it applied as tightly as she can.  After about a minute Lyza reaches the ropes, forcing a break.  Jessica drags her back out to the center and applies a leg grapevine again.  After about a minute in the hold, Lyza reaches the bottom ropes.

Jessica Winters: “Again, Lyza keeps making that painful, grueling journey to the bottom ropes to force a rope break only to be dragged back to the center of the ring.

Adam Allocco: “:The resilience of Lyza is shown. She’s not giving up!

Jessica drags her back out to the center and attempts a figure four, which is the first step to The Four Card Trick, her father’s patented finisher and now among her deadliest weapons.  Lyza senses this and as she is turning kicks her in the butt, sending her shoulder first into the steel turnbuckle.

Jessica Winters: “Lyza with the counter and that might be enough swing the momentum back into Lyza’s side.

Reyes limps up to her feet as Jessica staggers out of the corner.  She turns around into a face buster from Reyes.  Jessica is trying to get up but Lyza kicks her back down.  Reyes locks in End The Fed and the crowd comes alive!

Jessica Winters: “End The Fed! Locked in!

Adam Allocco: “That’s an insanely difficult move to escape from!

The referee is in perfect position and asks Jessica if she is ready to tap but The Archangel refuses.  Lyza keeps the agonizing hold locked in as tightly as possible.  Jessica keeps fighting until, after nearly a minute, she reaches the ropes, forcing a break.  Reyes rises to her feet and catches her breath.  Jessica is up next but has no time to catch her  breath as Lyza renews the assault with an Omai, the running blockbuster.  Lyza pulls Jessica up and drops her with Quantum Connection, her variation of the German suplex, bridging for a pin…

1…

2…

…3NO! Jessica gets a shoulder up!

Jessica Winters: “Another close fall. Lyza Reyes almost put down Jessica here.

Adam Allocco: “Both competitors are pulling off all the stops in this first round. They’re laying it all on the table. Who’s going to fold!?

Lyza locks in a Muta lock on Jessica.  The referee is again in position to check for a tapout but Jessica refuses.  After nearly a minute and no submission, Reyes releases the hold.  Lyza sets her up for a ddt but Jessica counters with a Northern Lights release suplex.  Lasiewicz slowly but surely pulls herself up, as does Reyes.  Lyza charges but Jessica ducks the clothesline attempt, rebounds off the ropes, and connects with Our Lady Peace!  Jessica with the cover…

1…

2…

…3NO!  Lyza kicks out!

Jessica Winters: “Not even the Our Lady Peace is enough to seal the deal. How are either competitors fighting on?

Adam Allocco: “So far, this must have been one of the most competitive, evenly matched bouts we’ve had tonight. You have to tip your hats to both women. They’re giving us a show.”

The Archangel is stunned at first but quickly recomposes herself.  She goes back on the assault, locking in an Indian deathlock variant and bridging into a rear chin lock, completing what she calls The Fabulous Lock.  This adds further damage to the leg of Lyza which was worked over earlier and the fans know it as they come alive.  The referee is in position to check for a tapout but Reyes refuses to give up.  After nearly a minute and a half, Reyes reaches the ropes, forcing a break.

Adam Allocco: “Jessica is throwing everything but the kitchen sink at Lyza Reyes but Reyes is just refusing to give.

Jessica Winters: “Just incredible spirit!

Jessica pulls Reyes back up to her feet, takes her to the center of the ring, and drills her with In Your Dreams, a swinging fisherman’s neckbreaker.  The Archangel goes for the cover…

1…

2…

…3NO! Reyes just barely shoots her shoulder up at the last possible second!

Jessica Winters: “So close!

Adam Allocco: “Unbelievably so. The crowd is on their feet. They’re stunned by the number of close falls and the resolve both women are showing.

Jessica Winters: “This might be match of the night.

Jessica pulls Lyza up and sets her up for one of her mother’s signature moves, The Hot Shot.  Just as she underhooks the arms Reyes counters with a back body drop, sending Lasiewicz down to the mat.  Reyes with a headscissors takedown.  Reyes with a running hurricinrana!  Lyza with a tornado ddt.  Reyes climbs the ropes and awaits patiently as Jessica tries to negotiate her way to her feet.  Jessica turns around just as Reyes flies off with Dreambodycatcher off the top into a cover…

1…

2…

…3NO! Jessica kicks out at just the last second!

Jessica Winters: “No!

Adam Allocco: “What does either women have to do. Look at the utter exhaustion and agony these women are in as they try to fight through. They’ve given it their all, what’s the breaking point.

Lyza sits up, looking up at the arena lights. She slowly steps over to Jessica Lasiewicz and suddenly Jessica strikes with the inside cradle:

Jessica Winters: “Surprise pin out of nowhere!

1…
2…
3!

Adam Allocco: “Despite everything thrown at each other, it came down to a inside cradle?!

Jessica Winters: “Lyza Reyes is just shaking her head in disbelief. Jessica Lasiewicz caught her off guard.

Adam Allocco: “Exhaustion and pain messes with the focus and by the time Lyza reacts, the referee hand slapped the mat for the third time.

The camera changes shot to reveal none other than Selena Frost standing backstage with a member of the technical staff!

Jessica Winters: “Well, ladies and gentlemen, joining us later tonight, as you can see, will be Selena Frost! We will hear from one of the more quiet participants of the tournament!

Adam Allocco: “I believe that I shall be needing some aspirin to get over the headache hearing this will give me…

Backstage
The scene fizzles to static before revealing a rusty, abandoned circus fairground… the sound of worn out gears, broken rides and withered stands are heard amongst the tents and aged machinery. There are a few screams in the distance, but also…

“Gimme gimme, never gets!” sings a choir of young girls wearing doll masks as they run around the abandoned fairgrounds. “Don’t you know your manners yet?”

The scene flashes suddenly to a dressing room – simple and run down like the rest – where a figure sits with his back to the audience as he stares at his mirror, which is surrounded by lightbulbs, some working and some burnt out. He wears a black and silver leather coat and his eyes are on his one reflection as a voice is heard.

Voice: “I am Shilo Valiant…

A side shot is shown of the man as he continues to stare at his reflection.

Voice: “I am the Two-Faced Fiend…

The reflection, that of Shilo Valiant, flashes suddenly, half of the face appearing to be painted and roaring before returning to that of Valiant staring still. His hands are then seen rubbing makeup onto them before smearing it onto the right side of his face.

Voice: “And I… I am the last God of Wrestling…

A smirking grin comes from Shilo’s face.

Shilo Valiant: “And I have been called back – back by popular demand!

A flash of an image is shown – that of Adam Allocco’s tweet, declaring that “SHILO VALIANT IS COMING TO THE GOW TOURNAMENT!”

Shilo Valiant: “I am back to bring back the entertainment!

Lifting his head, Shilo turns around to face the camera, his face covered in his makeup.

Shilo Valiant: “But it seems that THAT isn’t ‘special’ enough to a no-name like D’ae Moore…

The young girls are heard again. “Gimme gimme, never gets! Don’t you know your manners yet?”

Shilo Valiant: “What about it, Moore? You think you sound tough? You think you sound untouchable because you got some cheap ideas for heat from your mentors? Heh… heh… who do you think you are talking to, punk?

A shot of Shilo laughing and howling is imposed as the real Shilo tilts his head.

Shilo Valiant: “Huh?! You think that you’re special because you’re driven? Is that it?! You’re that special someone that will break the fans’ hearts? Deny them the entertainment? Why? Because you got the ‘right teachers’? Because I’m nothing special? Heh…heh…

Shilo chuckles as he adjusts his jacket.

Shilo Valiant: “It’s easy to be fearless when you have nothing to lose, fool! It’s easy to be tough when you have the world to gain. You start from obscurity and, when you lose, you’ll simply go back to obscurity – using my name as your selling point…

A flash footage of D’ae Moore is seen from GCW with a voice.

Female voice: “I beat Shilo Valiant!!!

Before it shifts to an alternative version.

Same female voice: “I pushed Shilo Valiant to the limit!!!

Shilo sneers at both voices as they and the images of Moore fade.

Shilo Valiant: “You’re an insect, Moore. A fly buzzing around my head – just like every other person in this tournament. Buzzing buzzing buzzing – all wanting some fame and some greatness at my expanse! Bzzz! Bzzz! Bzzz!

Shilo imitates swatting a few flies around his head.

Shilo Valiant: “You’re a rookie looking to make a name – one of many! Too many… You’re the common thing here. A nobody from obscurity looking to be ‘the one’… But me? There is only one being in this tournament that can say they have been the God of Wrestling!

A flash of scene is shown of Shilo holding the tournament trophy years ago.

Shilo Valiant: “Only one man can claim the creator of this tournament tracked him down and begged him to join. Only one person can claim that the people BROUGHT him back! And that… is me!

Shilo raises his arms a little, as if basking in the spotlight of his carnival of rust.

Shilo Valiant: “But you would rather laugh at me, is that it? You like to laugh, little fly? Because you are SO unfazed by facing me? Why don’t you ask David Helms about me, see how he shakes. Ask Lucas Knight, see how his jaw tightens… Then… when we are done, look in the mirror and ask yourself – and see how you react… because I am not the clown that your mentor, Amy Chastaine faced-

A flash of a scene is shown of Shilo spinning around and cracking the mirror with his elbow! It is only a split second before going to black and then fading back to the shot of Shilo standing before the camera, but the mirror behind him is clearly cracked.

Shilo Valiant: “You ready to laugh, little fly? You ready to put on a smile? Because that is exactly what you and I are about to do – in the most entertaining way…

The echo of a laugh is heard throughout the room, as well as… “Gimme gimme, never gets… Don’t you know your manners yet…”. Shilo grins as the lights cast part of him in light and the rest in shadow.

Shilo Valiant: “You will not be ‘the one’ that you dream of with your gimmies, Moore. You will not be ‘the one’ that took down Shilo Valiant…”

Shilo shakes his head.

Shilo Valiant: “Oh no… You shall merely be “the first one” I entertain. One… of many!”

A flash shot is seen of Shilo wiping his finger and thumb along his jaw in the shape of a twisted smile.

Shilo Valiant: “The Two-Faced Fiend is back, little fly! And I dare you – if it’s so easy – to try and stop me…and make me laugh…”

The camera moves in closer, Shilo’s voice barely a whisper.

Shilo Valiant: “Make me laugh…make me laugh… MAKE ME LAUGH!!!”

He screams before placing a finger over his lips!

Shilo Valiant (whisper): “Ssssshhhh…. make me laugh…

The camera flashes to static before going to black.

Jessica Winters: “Shilo Valiant seems to have been fairly taken aback by D’Nae’s more comments this past week.

Adam Allocco: “She did tell that joker that she was going to make him her bitch.

Jessica Winters: “Let’s see if she can cash that check because Shilo Valiant, 2012 God of Wrestling, is entering this match as the favorite.

Shilo Valiant vs. D’Nae Moore

Phillips: “The following match is part of the first round of the 2019 God of Wrestling tournament… introducing first…

The beat of “Gimmie More” starts and D’Nae saunters out, followed by her manager Jeffery Alexander. He grabs her hand and raises it overhead, watching while D’Nae turns and dances to the song’s chorus. D’Nae completes her turn to see Jeff pointing at his cheek. D’Nae plants a kiss there, then they both start down the ramp, some dance in D’Nae’s step as they go, Jeff following behind, clearly watching her shapely rear end.

Phillips: “Making her way to the ring… weighing in at

They get to the ring and Jeff goes up the steps then to the apron. D’Nae hops up to sit on the apron, then swings her legs up and pulls herself up with the ropes before stepping through as Jeff holds the ropes open for her. He hops down as D’Nae then stands on the bottom rope and leans over the top towards the crowd, a confident and smug smile on her face. She steps down as the music fades and leans in the corner.

Jessica Winters: “First up, for our next contest, is D’Nae Moore. She is a young upstart in GCW, and you have to wonder if she will continue this recent streak of upsets we’ve seen thus far.

Adam Allocco: “Will she follow in the footsteps of Albano or David Callahan? Or will Shilo Valiant make a triumphant return and defend his crown as the God of Wrestling?

A twisted form of a merry-go-round tune plays as sounds of rusty gears ad chains are heard. A haunting choir of children’s can be heard as well, “La-la”ing to the music before suddenly-

 “MAKE ME LAUGH!”

The audience rise to their feet in cheers as “Sin with A Grin” by Shinedown is heard, a spotlight shining down on the ramp

Adam Allocco: “Her opponent, Shilo Valiant was one of the best of the early 2010s. We traded wins, and now he’s probably rusty as all get out. He’s pretty cocky to think he can actually compete.

From the back walks Shilo Valiant, half his face pained with the black and yellow-green colors of the Two-Faced Fiend. Valiant slowly locks his arms in the X pattern of “Necro” before thrusting his right hand up to the spotlight, looking up at the raised palm that faces him. As he does, a shower of red sparks rains down upon him, seemingly from the spotlight. He slowly lowers his arm, the colors of his face-paint glowing amidst the red of the rain and white of the spotlights

Phillip: “And her opponent, weighing in at

The eternally smiling one slowly walks down the ramp, the spotlight following him. He walks around the ring and up the short stairs, climbing under the middle-rope to enter the ring. Standing within its center, the spotlight still cast on him, Shilo Valiant slowly raises his arm once more to the source, his spotlight, looking up at it as his fingers reach for it.

With a one last look at such an image, Shilo commanding the spotlight on him, the lights return to normal.

Jessica Winters: “Shilo Valiant is one of the most highly decorated competitors in SCW history. Like you said Adam, there could be ring rust.

Adam Allocco: “The man is the last to win this tournament when it was held back in 2012. He’s defending his God of Wrestling title per se by competing.

The ref calls for the bell, as D’Nae and Shilo step out of their respective corners. Shilo grins and takes a bow, while D’ Nae looks around, shaking head, before she lunges forward, landing a forearm strike, followed by a second, and a third. Shilo drops to one knee and rolls backward. D’Nae charges and stomps Shilo in the face.

Jessica Winters: “The rookie taking the fight to the former SCW World Champion.

Adam Allocco: “I knew there was ring rust. You can see it flying every time she hits him.

Jessica Winters: “Being a little dramatic there.

Shilo gets to his feet and D’Nae hits another forearm. Shilo goes for a haymaker, but she dunks under, then connects with a spinning back elbow. Shilo falls to the mat and D’Nae goes for a cover.

Shilo powers out, rolling over, but D’Nae is there to meet him, connecting with a kick to the ribs, and a stomp to the back of the head. She goes for another cover.

Shilo kicks out once again.

Adam Allocco: “This isn’t the Shilo I faced years ago. He’s clearly missing a beat or seven.”

Jessica Winters: “He’s not been in the ring in a few years. Cut him some slack.

Adam Allocco: “We both know I can’t do that.

Shilo gets to his feet using the ropes. D’Nae clubs him in the back a few times, before whipping him into the corner. She charges, only for Shilo to explode out of the corner and hit a dropkick. D’Nae flies back, her head hitting hard on the mat.

Jessica Winters: “Shilo out of nowhere with that dropkick. Calling upon his veteran instincts I suppose.”

D’Nae rolls over, getting to one knee, only for Shilo to charge and connect with a running knee. Shilo goes for a cover.

2

D’Nae kicks out.

Adam Allocco: “Shilo only getting a two.

Jessica Winters: “Good to give praise to D’Nae. She’s starting out in this career, but she’s matching Shilo Valiant right now, holding her ground.

Shilo lifts D’Nae off the mat and points to the corner, as he hooks D’Nae, before going into the corner, going for the E-Factor, but D’Nae manages to shove away from Shilo. Shilo falls neck first into the ropes and bounces back, as D’Nae rolls him up into a school boy.

Shilo kicks out. D’Nae gets to her feet and stomps on the back of Shilo’s head. The crowd boos. D’Nae glares at the crowd, before rolling her eyes and shaking her head as she saunters back and forth for a few moments.

Adam Allocco: “D’Nae Moore showing the world how hot she is.

Jessica Winters: “I hope you’re referring to her wrestling skills, because if that’s the case. I can’t help but agree!

Adam Allocco: “Sure. We’ll go with that!

D’Nae shrugs off the booing crowd before turning around. She goes to grab Shilo, but he hits a European uppercut, before leaping up and dropping her down with a jumping spinning DDT. Shilo goes for the cover.

Jessica Winters: “All that flaunting may have cost her.

1

2

D’Nae shoots the shoulder up. Shilo gets to his feet, lifting D’Nae off the mat before dropping her with the Inside Joke. The crowd explodes as Shilo goes for the pin.

Jessica Winters: “INSIDE JOKE! The pin…

Adam Allocco: “I remember that move.

The crowd continues to cheer as the ref calls for the bell. Shilo sits up and looks down, smiling at D’Nae who is shown dazed on the mat. Shilo gets to his feet and climbs the ropes and leans forward, as he releases a maniacal laugh as the crowd continues to cheer.

Jessica Winters: “D’Nae brought a fight tonight, but in the end, she took a little too much time showing what her mama gave her, and it cost her.

Adam Allocco: “Shilo Valiant held on. He was punched in the mouth but he responded. He proceeds to the next wrong. Where he’s going to meet the Archangel, Jessica Lasiewicz.

Shilo continues to celebrate for a few more moments as “Sin with a Grin” continues to play through the sound system, while Jeffrey check in on D’Nae.

Jessica Winters: “Shilo Valiant advances. We’re now going to come in and speak with Selena Frost.

Interview
Slowly, the camera fades to another shot, showing Selena Frost standing in front of the SCW logo displayed against the wall, a microphone in her hands. The audience give a cheer as they see her on the large titantron.

Jessica Winters: “Selena Frost – welcome to the first night of the God of Wrestling Tournament!

Selena Frost: “Thank you, Jessica. Great to be here!

Jessica Winters: “I’ll cut right to it – you were one of the last people announced as a participant for this tournament, yet you’ve been rather silent about it across the board. No videos or twitter, etc. – is there a reason for your silence?

Selena Frost: “Well, honestly, I wasn’t sure if I could be part of this tournament. Being as active in SCW as I am, there was the concern that I was stretching myself too thin. I mean, I know there’s been some rumblings, but, Jessica, you know as well as I do the schedule we have in SCW. So, I had to sit down and talk with Sasha D. and see if participating was even possible. Once I was given the green light, I had to commit to being in the best form I could be in.

Selena takes a moment to run a hand through her hair.

Jessica Winters: “I get that, but let me ask the big question that’s kind of gone unanswered since the announcement of your participation. “Why?”. It was not until the original bracket was full and the expansion was announced that you decided to put your name into the tournament. In fact, you told me privately that you were not, originally, intending to participate in this tournament so you could focus on wrestling in SCW. What changed your mind?

Selena nods her head.

Selena Frost: “That is… correct. I mean, the idea of facing some of the most legendary names in SCW’s history? David Helms, the ONLY other winner of the Best of the Best Tournament besides me? Lucas Knight? Josh Hudson – who I still owe a few good kicks in the head, too? Shilo Valiant? Thirteen?

Selena gets a different reaction from each name she mentions.

Selena Frost: “I could go on – a match with any of them would be more than enough reason to want to enter this tournament. But, you’re right, Jessica. Originally, I was the same mind as Sasha D. was –  I have a history of stretching myself too thin between other federations and obligations. And first and foremost, I’m an SCW superstar. “The Face of SCW”…

Cheers are heard from the audience.

Jessica Winters: “So why-”

Selena Frost: “Because first and foremost… I’m an SCW superstar. “The Face of SCW”.

There’s a slight smile and pause from Selena.

Selena Frost: “Let me ask you, Jessica… where is Syren? Where is Sienna Swann? Bree Lancaster? Where are all the superstars that declare up and down that they are the “best wrestlers in the world today”? Where are all the people that fill our episodes of Breakdown with self-praises of “deserving world title shots” or being “the greatest”?

Adam Allocco: “Is she blaming me?

Jessica Winters: “It’s a legitimate set of questions, Adam.”

Selena Frost: “The thing is, regardless of what you want to call this great tournament or give the credit too, the name of the sponsor – the name spoken of throughout this tournament is S-C-W! It’s SCW’s name that’s being represented! But out of twenty-four superstar entrants… not one main-eventer of today’s SCW seemed fit to represent the company. Not even the World Champion-

Adam Allocco: “Watch it! That’s my son! He’s a busy man!

Selena Frost: “And, to be truthful, because I don’t know if this will be my last night here – it made me sick. It made me sick that these superstars – declaring up and down that they are the best – have no desire to prove it on such a stage. It made me sick that SCW was being so poorly represented by our main-event roster. So, tonight, even if it might be ‘one night only’, “The Face of SCW” is going to represent what SCW is all about-“

Adam Allocco: “Okay, Selena? Adam Allocco here – I’m sorry to interject, because that was a ‘beautiful’ speech and I’m using air quotes here, but let’s be honest here, okay? Have you considered what’ll happen tonight when you take on Jake Raab and lose? I mean, you talk about ‘representing’ SCW. What happens if you, the “Face of SCW” lose in the opening round? Kind of a poor way to represent your company, wouldn’t you say?

Biting her lower lip, Selena adopts a slight smirk as she tilts her head.

Selena Frost: “Is it, Adam? Should I just ‘play it safe’ then and not participate? ‘Save face’? Jake Raab, just like so many others, is risking so much, including their pride, to come here and compete at this level. They are coming to an SCW tournament to compete – to see if they can compete at the level that SCW is at. No one – not a soul – is coming in here “safely” or “risk free”. So why should I? Do I risk a bit of humiliation if I lose tonight? Sure.

Selena shrugs.

Selena Frost: “But losing is not something that I intend to do. As I said, I am here to represent the best of SCW, something that the SCW Universe deserves! That the True-Believers deserve!

Fans: “We believe! We believe!

Selena Frost: “I am here to be not just the standard of SCW, but the driving force! And whether it’s tonight, the next night or all the way to the finals – I will be damned if I let people forget the reason the S in SCW stands for ‘Supreme’! Tonight – win or lose – Jake Raab is going to learn that the hard way. And – win or lose – he is NEVER going to forget it… Believe it!

Selena smiles and walks off camera.

Adam Allocco: “Well, the Face of SCW putting impetus on her to win this entire thing. Whether she can or cannot, we’ll about to see.

Jessica Winters: “She’s slotted to wrestle last against Sin City Wrestling’s Jake Raab. However, let’s look at the bracket so far. We’re halfway through the first round. We’ve had our share of upsets.

A image of the God of Wrestling Tournament Bracket is shown, including the winners of tonight.

Adam Allocco: “In two weeks, the second and third rounds of the tournament will take place in Tulsa, Oklahoma. We already know that David Helms will face off against Madison Chase after both took care of business earlier this evening. Two wrestlers, who pulled off upsets over former SCW World Champion in very different ways, clash in the form of David Callahan and Alban McConnell. Jessica Lasiewicz will be pitted against the last God of Wrestling Shilo Valiant.

Jessica Winters: “Still to come tonight, Josh Hudson is in action against Zero. Max Kane meets Kayla Jones-Snow. Shaun Cruze will wrestle newcomer Eli Goddard while Katie Steward does the same against Katya Djurdjevic.”

Adam Allocco: “That’s five wrestlers that have held the sports’ top prize.”

Jessica Winters: “Not to mention the interesting bout between wives, Amelia Robson versus Dr. Grace Morningwood. The stage is set for the second half of the opening round in the 2019 God of Wrestling tournament, brought to you by Infamously Dangerous Spiced Rum.

Backstage
Zero stands in the rafters of the arena, looking down over the area below.

Zero: “So many people, not knowing what is going on around them. The corruption that is rife, the ordinary public blissfully unaware, possibly a good thing. They watch this ‘product’ they call professional wrestling believing that they are enjoying competition, when in fact, all they are doing is fund the terrorists aiming to take over our cities. They are being mugged just as much as those jumped in alleyways, their cash taken from right under their noses. Not realizing that it would be a lot worse if it wasn’t for the likes of me… selflessly working for them without any reward. Not that I need reward of course, my attributes more than enough. Yet, as a friend of mine once said… with great power comes great responsibility.

He walks along the gantry, not showing any fear for the height he is seemingly at. He stops and continues

Zero: “One of the most criminal acts a person can do is not use the ‘talents’ that they have been given. I can do the most unbelievable things, and if I didn’t use those abilities to ensure that the lesser people like all of you could sleep safe in your beds, I wouldn’t be any better than the people I bring down like the ‘Enigma’. I serve the greater good, because I can. Others, that take a different stance. Others like you Hudson. You have committed some of the most heinous acts known to man, simply because you have always been taken to task for your crimes. Whenever things have got a little ‘hot’ for you, you’ve walked away and never taken responsibility for your actions. You don’t care who you hurt, as long as you get what you want, and yet, you have the audacity to believe yourself to be a ‘God’. Hudson, a ‘God’ cannot be weak. A ‘God’ cannot just walk away when he or she feels like it. But a ‘God’ can be judged, so if you truly are one, giving you the benefit of the doubt, believe me when I say you are looking at YOUR judgement.  Because you might see me as a ‘circus act’ or a ‘joke’ but that is just another of your crimes, not being able to comprehend that someone could be even more powerful than you. But I am Hudson, the powers I possess make ME the most dangerous person in this ‘tournament’, and the one person capable of putting you down… for good.”

He sits, his feet dangling over the side of the scaffold.

Zero: “See, the thing is Hudson, I know the way to beat someone like you. The weakness that anyone like you possesses. You work on manipulating fear from a person, by making yourself more ‘intimidating’ than you actually are. But the things is with threats, they mean nothing when they fall on deaf ears. The minute you take that away, all you are is just another human being and certainly nothing to be afraid of. No more intimidating than Madison Chase… as if.

He chuckles at his own joke, and gets unsteadily back to his feet.

Zero: “Let’s look at the facts shall we? No matter what you hit me with, I’ll remain standing. No matter what hold you lock me in, I will not give up. That will frustrate you, and take you out of this comfort zone you seem permanently in. Alternatively, I hit you with my arm of lightening, or plant your head through the ring with Ground Zero, you my friend are done. Both can come out of nowhere. Both only require you to make ONE mistake. And brass tacks here, we both know mistakes is what you do best. 42 years old and your best days behind you. I almost feel sorry for you… almost.

He walks back across the scaffold, and finds himself back on solid ground, adjacent to the ladder than would take him back to the floor. He could jump, but health and safety had already told him that he couldn’t. Even he being a superhero didn’t mean he was exempt from the world of H & S.

Zero: “Word from the wise Hudson… after you have failed miserably in becoming a ‘God’ and once your frailties have once again been exposed. Find a retirement home, put on the comfortable slippers and never darken any City under my protection again. Skulk into the shadows, and never, ever return.

He turns, and puts on foot on the top rung of the ladder.

Zero: “Because I’ll be watching Hudson… Zero is ALWAYS watching.”

Zero starts to climb down the ladder, as the scene fades. The cameras begins to pan over the audience. Fans are doing pointing towards the rafters.

Jessica Winters: “What’s Zero’s story?

Adam Allocco: “Someone struck him too hard in the head and led to some brain damage; as a result, I believe he thinks he is some kind of super hero.

Jessica Winters: “We saw him briefly in SCW until he went to Global Championship Wrestling. We saw Josh Hudson recently in the Taking Hold of the Flame Battle Royal. Unlike some question marks we had, ring rust is not one from either one.

Adam Allocco: “Not at all. Josh can go. Zero can go.

Jessica Winters: “Let’s hear from former SCW World Champion, Josh Hudson.

Backstage
The view switches, to showing slow motion clips of Josh Hudson throughout his career. It starts out with Hudson taking on various wrestlers, competing in hardcore matches, topping it off as he is shown powerbombing one of his opponents through a table on the outside. His voice is heard narrating, as the clip plays.

Josh Hudson: “I started out, doing things the old way, ya know? Going through the independent scene, which is like the wild west. At least, it was during my younger years.

The clips end and we see Josh Hudson sitting in a studio. He continues to speak.

Josh Hudson: “I climbed through the ranks, but I took my lumps. I suffered the injuries, shedding blood. I gave the sweat and the tears for this sport, because there have been periods throughout my career where it seemed this sport was going to die out.

More clips are shown of Hudson competing in Japan, making his way to Mexico, before competing in various promotions across the United States. As the clips play, he continues to narrate.

Josh Hudson: “But myself, and a few others like me, kept it alive. We were a rare breed of wrestler. We were the hardnosed, no-nonsense grapplers who stepped into the ring, and got it done. We didn’t need the pageantry. We didn’t need the spectacle. We took a style and gave it substance. Now…

The clips end, and we see Hudson once again, back in the studio. He looks calm and collected, as he stares ahead, continuing to speak.

Josh Hudson: “It’s all about style. It’s all about how you look, and who you know. Seeing someone get to the top, or get exposure on their own, is a rarity. You had your Beauty Factories, and that nonsense in Emerge. And yeah, I was with Past, Present, Future but we all stood on our own. Well, two of us did. Hey David…” Hudson gives a slight smirk before continuing, “But I did it, my way. On my way. I learned the tricks of the trade, and I used those tools to become the greatest technical wrestler to ever grace this industry with his presence.

Josh Hudson: “I am the last of a dying breed. It damn sure ain’t Shilo Valiant, David Helms, or Lucas Knight. It’s not Shaun Cruze. Its me. Christian Saviour and Jason Zero, they are long gone. They could never hack it, nor walk in my shoes. Xander Valentine, the evidence is there for the world to see. He is nothing but a bitter shell of his former self. CHBK…doesn’t exist.

He shakes his head.

Josh Hudson: “Those last few names I mentioned…they were always held in high regard during the first few eras of SCW. They always came and went, washed out, got injured…whatever. It didn’t matter. The fact remained that I was always there. I have proven that I can stand the tests of time, because even when I am not around, my presence is still felt.

He pauses, glaring now as he continues to stare straight ahead.

Josh Hudson: “For all I have done for this business, for the SCW, for the IWC, for this industry as a fu-*beep* whole…I still go around getting disrespected. Like all I have done means shit. Not only to the fans, but these fucks in the industry. Maybe their egos are just bigger than mine and they feel like they are the greatest thing to hit this business, when the truth is that they are nothing more than clones of each other, straight off the factory line.

He scoffs and shakes his head again, before he continues.

Josh Hudson: “Its these pretty faces talking about how this tournament is basically for the geriatrics. I’m not going to speak for the others, but the people who talk that sort of shit don’t have the balls to go forth and endure this kind of tournament. I do. I enjoy a good challenge. This sport is all about survival of the fittest and the smartest. The little models plaguing my business showed they were smart by not signing up. Had our paths crossed, they wouldn’t have been so pretty for those photoshoots that aren’t important.

Hudson leans forward a little bit in his seat.

Josh Hudson: “Fu-*Beep* Bree Lancaster.

As soon as the statement exits his mouth, Hudson chuckles, taking a deep breath, as if he is gathering his thoughts.

Josh Hudson: “These faces wanting to disrespect me, and my legacy, just like Adam Allocco has done. I should talk about Zero, and how I’m going to mess him up. I’ve said all I needed to say. My actions will do the talking when his lifeless body is left on the mat, waiting to be scraped up like dog shit off the sidewalk.

Hudson leans back in his seat.

Josh Hudson: “Adam, I joined this tournament because I wanted to test myself once again. I wanted to see how much abuse I could dish out as well as endure. I wanted to see if I could go the distance. I felt this thing was good for this business, this sport I have always fought to elevate and protect. And you slap me in the face right out of the gate?

Josh Hudson: “Listen to me very carefully. Your run with Greaternity. Your reign as United States Champion. It wouldn’t have happened if it wasn’t for me. I kept SCW alive, by kicking ass in the ring. You were too busy being a fu-*beep* idiot with those frat boys who will keep you in their shadow forever. Just as your son is doing now. And once this is over. Once everything is said and done, I will cast a large shadow over this industry once again, as I will leave a pile of victims, starting with Zero. Once I’m done, this industry will have no choice but to respect me. It will have no choice but to kneel down and worship me like a God.”

Hudson exhales deeply, before getting up and walking out of view.  We return to the broadcast table.

Adam Allocco: “Hey, if you get some hate, you must be doing something right. I bet Josh Hudson wished he had me in his corner or he would have been the biggest star wrestling ever seen.

Jessica Winters: “He seemed to have called you out.

Adam Allocco: “No worries. I’m right here, but I will say that. Josh Hudson at least accomplished enough to have the right to speak his mind. But let’s see if he falls as other SCW World Champions have tonight.

Josh Hudson vs. Zero

Phillips: “The following match is scheduled for one far. The winner of which advances to the next round of the 2019 God of Wrestling tournament… introducing first…

“Judas” begins to filter through the sound system and out from the back steps none other than Josh Hudson, wearing a zip up jacket.

Phillips: “Weighing in at 235 pounds, a former two-time SCW World Champion… JOSH HUDSON!

He stops atop the entrance ramp and looks out into the crowd and shakes his head, before heading down to the ring. He embraces the negative reaction with outstretched arms as he makes his way down the ramp, his body turned sideways as he faces the crowd with a smirk on his face. He continues to slowly make his way to the ring, a look of determination on his face as he slides underneath the ropes. He climbs to the top rope and stares out into the crowd, shouting, “I’m the best at what I do!!!” before turning and sitting against the turnbuckle, waiting for the match to begin.

Jessica Winters: “There is former SCW World Champion, Josh Hudson. He had some choice words for you leading to this event, Adam.

Adam Allocco: “It’s called seeding. When it came to booking this event, I believe I made the best decisions. And I’m never wrong. If you don’t believe me, just ask me.

Iron Dragon’ hits over the PA system, as thunder cracks through the arena, the video screen showing dark storm clouds forming. Suddenly, lightning strikes the stage, and through the smoke that is left, the silhouette of a man can be seen with his arms outstretched. He steps forwards, and stands just at the top of the ramp, crossing his arms and nodding at the crowd.

Phillips: “Ladies and Gentlemen, currently heading to the ring, weighing in at two hundred pounds… he is the Iron Dragon, ZEEEEEEEEROOOOOOOO

As his music continues, Zero makes his way down to the ring confidently, jumping up on the ring apron and then flipping over the top rope, landing on his feet and stepping into the middle of the ring, his arms once again outstretched. As he does, lightning strikes again, and seems to hit the palms of his hands, which seems to galvanize him even further. Jumping up and sitting on the turnbuckle, as he then waits for the bell.

Adam Allocco: “He really does think he’s a super hero!”

Jessica Winters: “Well, how do you think he will do against Hudson?”

Adam Allocco: “Hudson is right. He’s part of a dying breed. He has drive like no other. And I can’t help but wonder how Zero will fare now that he’s face to face with a real life villain.

The ref calls for the bell as Zero jumps down off the turnbuckle. Hudson steps out of his corner. Both men meet in the middle of the ring and Zero begins to throw punches, connecting with a right hook, followed by a second, before delivering a left jab. He hits a headbutt and Hudson staggers.

Jessica Winters: “Zero taking the fight to the SCW legend.

Adam Allocco: “He sure is fearless!

Zero goes to throw another punch, but Hudson catches it. He smirks, before making Zero punch himself, before landing a knee to the ribs, then a double axe handle to the middle of the spine. Hudson then hooks Zero and hits a belly to back suplex, sending Zero over the top rope and down to the floor.

Jessica Winters: “Hudson just tossed Zero out of the ring!

Adam Allocco: “Zero better summon those superpowers quick or this could be over.

Hudson slides out of the ring as Zero gets to his feet and charges over, landing a forearm to the face of Hudson. Zero connects with punches to the stomach, backing Hudson down, until Hudson dunks under and hooks Zero, before hitting a German suplex onto the floor. Zero rolls over and gets on his hands and knees, only for Hudson to connect with a kick to the ribs. Hudson then grabs Zero and hits another German, sending Zero into the apron. Hudson grabs Zero and rolls him into the ring, before going for a cover.

Zero shoots the shoulder up. Hudson gets to his feet, as Zero rolls over grabbing at his back.

Jessica Winters: “Zero seems to be favoring his back. No doubt the effects of that suplex into the apron.

Hudson stomps on Zero’s arms and legs, as well as the back of his neck. Hudson then grabs Zero and floats over, locking in the Angle. Zero reaches out and immediately grabs the ropes. Hudson doesn’t break the hold, so the ref begins the count.

Referee: “1..2..3..4…

Hudson breaks the hold.

Jessica Winters: “The ref almost got to the count of five.

Adam Allocco: “Hudson’s smart. He did as much damage as he could.

Hudson lifts Zero up and hits a European uppercut, before whipping Zero into the corner, following up with a running clothesline. Zero buckles in the corner, before Hudson lifts him up onto the top of the turnbuckle. Hudson hits a few punches before hooking Zero. Zero, however, grabs onto the ropes as Hudson tries to pull him. Once Hudson relaxes, Zero lands a few punches to the ribs. Hudson loosens his grip as Zero hits a headbutt and shoves Hudson to the mat. Hudson hits the mat, but rolls over, getting to his feet, just as Zero leaps off the ropes, and grabs Hudson, taking him down with a tornado DDT. Zero grabs at his back then his neck, before shaking it off and going for the cover.

1

Hudson kicks out.

Jessica Winters: “Zero favoring his neck and back a little longer than he probably should have. Only getting a one count.

Adam Allocco: “Knowing Hudson, he’s going to smell blood in the water and get even more aggressive.

Zero gets to his feet and grabs Hudson, but Hudson hits another European uppercut, before hooking Zero and hitting an overhead belly to belly suplex. Zero hits the mat, and Hudson gets to his feet, before stomping on the legs, back, as well as the back of Zero’s neck.

Jessica Winters: “Hudson targeting those certain area’s of Zero’s body.

Adam Allocco: “He’s been called one of the greatest technical wrestler for a reason. But, Zero can still turn things around.

Hudson lifts Zero off the mat, only for Zero to hit a European uppercut of his own, staggering Hudson. Zero kicks Hudson in the midsection before hitting a snap suplex. Zero grabs at the back of his neck, before using the ropes to help himself up. Zero nods as he sees Hudson get to his feet. Hudson turns around and Zero connects with a spear.

Jessica Winters: “Hudson down after that spear. Zero is going to have to follow up!

Zero grabs at his back before running to and leaping off the ropes, connecting with a moonsault. He rolls over, grabbing at his back and neck, before pulling himself up again, this time stepping onto the apron.

Adam Allocco: “Zero may actually have superpowers. He’s on the outside. You know he’s gotta be looking for that Lightening Lariat.

Hudson begins to stir, slowly pulling himself up. Zero tries to leap onto the ropes, but can’t. He shakes his legs before trying again, this time succeeding. Hudson turns, and Zero goes for the flying forearm.

Jessica Winters: “This could put Hudson away!

Zero goes to connect, but Hudson quickly pulls him down into a crossface. Hudson pulls back for a few moments, before letting go. He rolls over, grabbing Zero’s legs before locking in the Hudson Stretch. The ref begins to check.

Jessica Winters: “Hudson managed to reverse that flying forearm into a submission, but now he’s got the Hudson Stretch locked in.”

Adam Allocco: “And he has Zero in the middle of the ring with nowhere to go.

Zero shakes his head no as the ref checks on him. The ref continues to check, as Hudson leans back a little bit further. Zero finally nods, as the ref calls for the bell. “Judas” hits as Hudson breaks the hold. He stomps toward the corner and climbs to the top. The crowd boos, as Hudson looks at them, then at Adam.

Jessica Winters: “Hudson with the submission win. And the way he’s looking at you, Adam…looks like he wanted to send you a message.

Adam says nothing. He slowly rises and begins to slowly clap, as Hudson continues to glare at him for a few moments, before we cut away.

Backstage
The camera pan open and Max Kane is seen, sitting on a pair of crates. Sporting his ring gear with his ring jacket, he gives a small smile to the camera.

Max Kane: “I’ve been waiting all day, I’ve been waiting all week, I’ve been waiting all month, for this! The God of Wrestling tournament is back! Twenty four wrestlers. Not eight, not sixteen. Twenty four wrestlers. Wrestlers from SCW, from GCW, from the indies, from their cozy, cozy retirements homes are in this thing. Most importantly, Max Kane is in this thing. And so that means everyone else is SOL and since the kids are in the crowd, watching here and watching at home, I won’t say what that means. But I’ll just say this. All the legends, the former World Champions, the rookies, the indie superstars, all of you in this tournament are going to need to say a few prayers, pop some vitamins and start thinking about what you’re going to tweet in response to me kicking all of your asses.

Max points at the camera.

Max Kane: “I’m not going to disguise my intentions or how I feel about being in this tournament. I think I’m going to win. I think this is my tournament to lose and while they’re a lot of people, a lot of talented, accomplished, people in this tournament, if they’re going to be in the same ring as Max Kane, then they might as well start buying tickets to the next show because they’re going to turn into spectators because I’m the one that’s going to put their asses to the seats and line them up. First row. I’ll fork over the cash to get it down. Match after match, everyone that I’ve beaten in this thing.

Max stands up.

Max Kane: “The whole point of wrestling is this. Someone steps up, says they’re better than everyone else and then works his ass off to prove it. People in SCW seem to miss that point. People get real uncomfortable when i start talking. Because I make it clear that even though I bring the party, even though I’m the guy that gets shit started, the guy that everyone wonders when he enters the ring are they watching this man’s final match because he might just jump off the tron or something. Everyone wants to be friends though. When everyone’s just a bunch of snakes. I would stick out like a sore thumb with Sienna and Bree Lancester. I could never be like Bree.. I could never be that comfortable. I could never be so afraid of going after the ones I need to go after to get to where I want to be because I want people to like me so badly.

Max Kane: “I like the people. The people out there, The fans. We have a connection. I get my money from them so that’s a nice boost. But those are the only friends I need to make when it comes to wrestling. Back in the territorial days, you had to fight your way through the territory and prove you belonged. Sometimes I feel like I was born in the wrong era. I don’t have my priorities wrong. But it doesn’t matter. I can only control what I control.

Max Kane: “I’ve put my foot in my mouth a few times. I’ve jumped off turnbuckles, stages, balconies, announce tables and have missed more than once. I already have a laundry list of bones and body parts I’ve injured. Some would say that’s a death wish. Maybe in the end that’s where this thing ends. I do one thing. All of that? it’s not just for my amusement. It’s all leading to when I eventually push my way through everybody.

Max pauses.

Max Kane: “Kayla Jones, I found your video discussing me to be pretty cute. Adorable. I wish I would have known you were going to do a Q&A, lady. I would have liked to put a few questions in there. Like, when did you make the switch from delusional, rich MILF who thinks they’re the best in the world to a comedy wrestler? Do you actually make money off of your attempts to cheat the people with the whole #NeedMoreKayla? And why are you pushing that catchphrase so much? Those Jones family checks not enough to cover for everything? How many times are you going to lose your smile and quit before you actually go away? These are the questions, lady. And while I figured your reasons for believing that tonight you’re the one that’s going to the next round amounted to your bank account, past championships and perhaps a ploy to make some income before the IRS come for you and your house husband, after listening to your video, it reassured to me what’s going to happen tonight.

Max eyes the camera.

Max Kane: “And while we’re at it, for any legends, former World champs like Kayla. If the only reason you think you’re beating me is because of what you’ve done, let me just say if I could, I would burn all of your shit. All of the HoF rings, the titles. All of it. That’s what I think about it. Because that means nothing when you’re trying to come after what I’m trying to get. I want the moment and I’m going for it. Kayla said I’ve been carried up to this point..

Max laughs.

Max Kane: “Sure and I still have a better chance at being everything that I say I am than you do. Keep milking your family’s name until it no longer bleeds green. If you want to be a comedy wrestler, be my guess. I’ll give you a ticket to my next round match after ours. Because I’m advancing. And I’m winning this tournament. Whether people in it know it or not. Whatever the cost may be, lady.

He winks before walking off. We return to ringside.

Jessica Winters: “Max Kane is showing some fire. He’s ready to use this tournament as a launch pad for his career.

Adam Allocco: “But we really do need more Kayla.

Jessica Winters: “Then you’re in luck, we’re going to hear from Kayla… right now.

Backstage
Kayla Jones-Snow is walking backstage. As she passes through the halls and as she passes by individuals, she hands them her new #NeedMoreKayla 2020 Calendar. Get yours today! Kayla stops suddenly and turns to face the camera. Jones gives off an air of confidence, seemingly with no concerns about her match tonight against Max Kane.

Kayla Jones-Snow: “Tonight is the night and I hope you are not too nervous, Max. I mean, it is painfully clear that Dawn Lohan carried you through your one and only taste of success in SCW. And it’s painfully clear that you don’t measure up to someone like me, someone who has been a powerful force in that company. Don’t you worry about anything, Max! Just like everyone else in the world, you too need more Kayla. And like it or not, you will get more Kayla.

She taps her right thigh.

Kayla Jones-Snow: “More specifically you will get my right foot to your jaw. You will get an early exit from this tournament. But we’ll definitely have a great match, Max! All thanks to me!

She winks at the camera.

Kayla Jones-Snow: “You’re welcome.

Max Kane vs. Kayla Jones-Snow
The arena is silent when all of a sudden Max’s Kane voice is heard through the PA system.

KANE!

MAX!

KANE!

“Suck My Kiss” then hits the PA system; the lights flashing in sync with the bass. After a few seconds, Max Kane is propelled from underneath the ramp into the air. The crowd oohs as he then lands on his feet and eyes the crowd. Max yells at the camera before he stands on his feet. Max looks around the crowd as he immediately extends his arms out to the crowd. The young man is sporting a black, silver and gold “Rock N’ Roll Unicorn” vest with big spikes on the shoulders, a “Scream Machine” t-shirt underneath and a pair of shades on his face. Max continues yelling towards the camera.

Phillips: “From San Francisco, California,  weighing in at two hundred, ten pounds….he is The Rock N’ Roll Unicorn…. “MAD” MAX…..KAAAAANE!

Max walks down to the ring, looking around the crowd. Max once again eyes the camera and smirks as he looks at the ring. He faces the crowd, looking around at everyone while walking past the camera before sliding into the ring. Max stands u and throws his vest onto the mat. He yells to the crowd and motions for them to make some noise. He points to every section of the arena before extending his arms. He then claps his hands, yelling “KANE. MAX. KANE.” The crowd responds as he smirks and retreats to the corner and starts moving around, taking off his shirt and vest. He sees the camera and makes a throat slash gesture to the crowd.

Max Kane: “That’s what happening tonight. It’s going to be a fight. I’m ready to fight.

Max grips the top turnbuckle, steeling himself for the match ahead.

Jessica Winters: “Max Kane taking issue earlier with Kayla’s general attitude.

Adam Allocco: “I don’t know how he can hate on her, but hey, if that what gets him up, more power to him. He has a match to win.

The lights turn a violent shade of red for the next contest, as strobe lighting goes off. The intro to Within Temptation’s “The Howling” kicks in as the big screen lights up with the name ‘Kayla Marie S. Jones’. Out from behind the curtain steps Kayla Jones, a broad smile upon her face as she stretches out a fist in the air.

Phillips: “And his opponent, weighing in at 115 pounds.. from Boston, Massachusetts… KALYA JONES-SNOW!

She slowly begins to make her way down to the ring; arms outstretched as she high fives some of the fans at the barriers. Kayla reaches ringside, making a lap around the ring as she meets and greets some of her fans along the way. She hops up onto the apron, rising her fist in the air once more before flipping over the ropes. She spins on the spot, before dropping to her knees, arms stretched into the air as a blast of pyro emits from each of the four turnbuckles.

Jessica Winters: “Did the God of Wrestling really need more Kayla?

Adam Allocco: “I know Kane didn’t. Kayla frankly said that Dawn Lohan, who I personally know and love by the way, went ahead and carried Max Kane to anything worthwhile in this career.

Jessica Winters: “Both competitors have little respect for one another and I wonder how that is going to bleed over into the match itself.

Before the bell can ring, Kayla Jones-Snow strikes Max Kane with a roundhouse kick while he isn’t looking. The referee admonishes her but she feigns innocence. The referee asks Kane if he is still ready to go and he insists that he is, thus the bell rings and now the match is officially under way with Kayla stomping away at her opponent in the corner.

Jessica Winters: “What a cheap shot!

Adam Allocco: “Did Max Kane do something to Kayla we didn’t know? She’s attacking him with little disregard.

Jessica Winters: “You have to wonder. That blindside kick to the head could have done serious injury. I know Max Kane wants to say he’s okay and wrestle this match, but you have to wonder….

Jones stands him up in the corner and strikes viciously with martial arts kicks of a wide variety to the abdomen, ribs, and chest area. Jones-Snow attempts an Irish whip but Max reverses, sending her into the corner. He comes charging in with a stinger splash before drilling her with an overhead belly to belly suplex. Kayla quickly rolls to the outside to attempt stop his momentum but Max comes back with a suicide dive to the outside, taking Kayla off of her feet.

Adam Allocco: “You were saying? He seems like he’s firing on all cylinders to me!

Jessica Winters: “Max Kane rallied back and two big-time moves have Kayla’s reeling on the outside.

Max rolls her back into the ring. Kayla quickly scrambles to her feet and watches as he goes for a springboard spinning heel kick back in but she ducks out of the way and he misses it. Kayla with a spinning heel kick and then a Ginger Snap, her variation of the pele kick, taking him down. Kayla with a Kaytastrophe, her variation of the shining wizard! She goes for a cover.

Jessica Winters: “The pin!

1…

2-

Jessica Winters: “Kick out! Kane fires his shoulder up. Kayla’s aiming kicks at that head.

Adam Allocco: “Some people work the leg. Some people work the arm, but Kayla obviously work the head…. And maybe the legs now too.

Kayla locks in a Boston crab, a nod to her sister Angelica who uses a variation of this hold as a submission finisher. The referee is in position to ask Max if he submits but he shakes his head no. Max fights to the ropes and eventually does reach the bottom rope. Kayla drags him back out to the center. Max still refuses to submit. He fights back to the ropes and again reaches the bottom rope.

Jessica Winters: “Can discredit Max Kane’s heart. He powered through to earn that rope break.

Adam Allocco: “I know some people will wonder if Kane loses here, if that cheap shot made the difference. But he didn’t need to compete? I get it. It’s God of Wrestling, everyone wants to win this tournament. So you have to put up or shut up in this tournament.

Kayla climbs up to the top rope and awaits Max to get to his feet. He rises and Kayla comes off, connecting with Kaylamity, a spinning heel kick off the top! The quick cover.

1…

2…Kickout!

Kayla with a swinging neck breaker followed up by a double arm ddt. She measures Max as he starts to get up and drills him with Winter Is Coming, a vicious knee strike to the head! Kayla doesn’t cover but instead goes outside, retrieves some Needs More Kayla 2020 Calendars from a ringside attendant and starts passing them out to fans at ringside.

Jessica Winters: “The utter disrespect. Further shots in the head and Kayla thinks this is the right time to hand out calendars?

Adam Allocco: “Complete lack of respect for Kane. I think we already knew she had little, but I guess she really had zero.

Jessica Winters: “The crowd is hailing down a chorus of boos onto her right now.

Adam Allocco: “Maybe they want calendars too!

While Kayla is wasting time with her calendars, Max is recovering. Unknown to Kayla Max has fully recovered. He charges and then springboards off the top with a spinning heel kick to the outside onto Kayla Jones taking her out!

Crowd: “HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!”

Max pulls her up and brings her back inside. He connects with a springboard splash onto Kayla for a cover…

Jessica Winters: “The crowd loving how Kane gave Kayla karmic justice. I bet she is regretting making that decision now.

1…

2…Kickout!

Max with a backdrop and then a running cutter onto Kayla. Max with a running death valley driver onto the turnbuckles. With Kayla in the corner Max charges and connects with a cannonball!

Jessica Winters: “Kane with an explosive fury. He covers!

1…

2…

…3

Jessica Winters: “NO! Kayla gets a shoulder up!”

Adam Allocco: “Max Kane can’t afford this match to go much longer. He’s digging deep within his well to make a comeback, doing a great job, but he’s running on fumes at this point.

Jessica Winters: “So he needs to finish.

Adam Allocco: “Phrasing, Jessica.

Max with reverse gory special flipped forward into an electric chair face buster. Kayla seems out of it but Max goes for more offense and connects with a springboard diving headbutt! Max goes up top and looks for a moonsault but Kayla gets her knees up at the last possible second! Both are out and the referee begins the count…

Jessica Winters: “Mad Max Kane has crashed and burned and now both competitors are down.

1!

2!

3!

Kayla rolls to the ropes. Max tries to push himself up.

Adam Allocco: “Referee has been instructed that if the ten count has passed and both wrestlers are down to reward the winner who ever gets up first.

4!

5!

6!

Kayla gets up first using the ropes. She runs off the ropes, does a handspring, and then delivers the Kaylan Wind Kick 2.0! Kayla shakes her head and says she’s not done. She goes out to the outside and waits for Max to get to his feet before leaping off with a springboard into the Kaylan Wind Kick 3.0!

Jessica Winters: “Kaylan Wind Kicks galore. This is it! Kayla pins for the victory!

1…

2…

…3

Adam Allocco: “UNBELIEAVABLE! Max kicks out!

Jessica Winters: “The look on Kayla’s face right now. She thought she had Max dead to rites, but here he is, still fighting hard.

Kayla is frustrated, shocked that her offense hasn’t put Max away yet. But she goes to a corner and starts stomping. The crowd starts stomping as well out of instinct, knowing what this signals. Max slowly starts to pull himself up and Kayla starts stomping faster. Max turns around and Kayla goes for the Kaylan Wind Kick, traditional version, but Max ducks it and rolls her up into a small package.

Jessica Winters: “Max catches her with the small package!

1…

2…

…3!

Adam Allocco: “And Mad Max Kane steals a victory. Second time tonight, an exhausted competitor goes for the win but gets caught sleeping at the wheel, and they lose.

Jessica Winters: “Max Kane endured an onslaught from Kalya. She threw everything, and that wasn’t enough.

Adam Allocco: “Kayla might consider herself the Wiley Coyote, but Mad Max Kane definitely is the Roadrunner. He enjoyed the last laugh.

Kayla rolls out of the ring and goes over to the pile of calendar. She tosses up the calendars up into the air. Max Kane’s wincing rolls out of the ring and picks on up. Kayla stomps up the ramp as she does so, Kane picks up one of the discarded calendars and flings it up the ramp at her. While he doesn’t it, he still laughs as she turns around and shouts at him.

Jessica Winters: “Mad Max Kane definitely had he last laugh. He will be meeting Josh Hudson in two weeks in the second round.

Backstage
The camera focuses in on a man walking down one of the hallways of the arena, he is dressed in a long black leather trench coat with carries with it rips n tears which come from wear and tear. Beneath that is a black tank top matched to his jeans n boots. In his hand is a half mask of a skull which he holds by the straps. The camera moves closer to reveal it is former Emerge tag champion Eli Goddard. He stares at the camera with his icy blue eyes.

Eli Goddard: “Tonight a new hunt begins, the first of many as I move from my usual Emerge hunting grounds to their motherland known as Supreme Championship Wrestling.

Eli pauses in his stride to look down at the ground before crouching and checking some marks on the floor.

Eli Goddard: “Tonight I have the grandest of opportunity, I take on the man that has conquered two worlds. Tonight I face you Shaun Cruze. The brother of Orlando Cruze, uncle to Owen Cruze, husband to a beautiful wife and father as well. You have achieved that of the American dream.

Eli licks his lips before looking at the camera again and now standing.

Eli Goddard: “But even dreams have the penchant to becoming nightmares, Mr. Cruze. Horror stories have become prevalent throughout human history, your new home in Hollywood has a history of bringing to life some of its greatest tales. They bring to life the words from a page, they pay people like you to pretend to be scared.

Eli sneers, he begins to walk again now, his tone shifting to something a little more sinister.

Eli Goddard: “One thing you will learn SCW I do not pretend, I have the history of creating the fear Hollywood craves. And now you have the opportunity to take part in a new starring role Mr. Cruze. The God of Wrestling tournament. You play the role of the hero looking to climb the mountain that will gift you everything you crave. The knowledge that you still have what it takes to do what we do!

Eli smirks.

Eli Goddard: “It has been a conversation piece by many of those taking part tonight. Do you still have it, I am of the mind yes. Yes you all DO have it because it is human instinct to survive, fight or flight. Hunt or be the hunted. Kill or be killed. My whole life I have been the hunter, I have been the killer and tonight Mr. Cruze I am the fighter!

Eli pauses in deep thought for a moment before continuing.

Eli Goddard: “I do not hunt the weak Hollywood, I go after only the strongest of prey and you are a fascinating one at that. You have achieved your good good already with your career and like a hog you wish to feast on more success. You wish to succour on the teat of SCW one last time.

Eli Goddard: “Gluttony is one of the sins, and it’s men like you that have brought a poison to my world. A poison I will sever at the heart. I am told you’re one of the very best, your career is unrivalled and I hope that is true, I want this to be true because I will take no greater pleasure than killing the legend of Shaun Cruze before moving on to my next prey…

Eli Goddard: “You stand at the foot of the mountain to become gods all of you and while this is what you see in your futures know that along the path there is a devil who stands in your way and his name is Eli Goddard.

Eli begins to raise the mask and place it over his jaw…

Eli Goddard: “To me you’re all gorgers, and Shaun Cruze you’re the first of many who shall feel the wrath of Tombstone for my father may have failed in his mission, but I will not….

Eli tightens the mask with the strap and tilts his head with his icy cold stare now more prominent than ever, it is like he is now possessed.. He walks towards the camera until it is engulfed in darkness, then and only then static hits and a rattlesnake lunges at the screen before going dark once more.

Jessica Winters: “Goddard seems like he has a lot of motivation.

Adam Allocco: “I’m good friends with his father and both of them seem to walk around with a chip on their shoulder.

Jessica Winters: “I thought you and John hated each other.

Adam Allocco: “What… No! We’re good buddies. I don’t know why you thought that. But John’s not here, his son is and is son seems to be very fixated on taking out everyone he can in this tournament.

Jessica Winters: “From the hunter to the supposed prey. We’re going backstage to hear from the Impact Player himself… Shaun Cruze!

Backstage
The scene cuts to the Gorilla position of the Indiana Farmers Coliseum, the venue for the God of Wrestling tournament that had begun in earnest. The camera pans around to someone looking through the curtain, watching the action unfold. Eventually the person turns, revealing himself to be Shaun Cruze, who shakes his head and puffs out his cheeks.

Shaun Cruze: “Wow!!

He looks almost overawed by the whole situation he finds himself in.

Shaun Cruze: “Two years ago, I’d resigned myself to never experiencing this feeling again. That moment when you are about to go on.

He pauses for just a second.

Shaun Cruze: “Those that haven’t competed in our industry wouldn’t get it, but there really is no feeling like it, knowing that tens of thousands of people are waiting for you to appear. Honestly, you feel the anticipation in the air… the hairs stand up on the back of your neck… it’s electric. And now it’s finally here, after all the training to get back in shape, whether I get my ass kicked in just a few moments time, or I don’t. Just for this moment, this singular moment, it’s been worth it.

He motions off camera, and Angyalka joins him, holding Dorothea in her arms. There wasn’t a chance in hell Shaun wasn’t going to do this without his wife joining him, and watching with the crowd. If this was to be his one and only match in this tournament, he was going to go down with his family beside him… it was a shame that Jacob hadn’t be able to join them too due to school.

Shaun Cruze: “You see Eli, for all the bluster, for all the fanfare of me being one that is worth ‘hunting’ and yes of course, this picture you painted of me, where you tried to make it sound like ‘wrestling’ or ‘acting’ is the be all and end all of what defines me, you seemed to forget one thing. Yeah, there is no doubt that I’m about to step out there for the fans. Yes, I’d even agree that I’m doing it for myself, just to be the ‘Impact Player’ on one more occasion for old times sake. But more than being a wrestler, or an actor… my main roles in life are as a Father, and as a Husband. That is what is most important to me. I wouldn’t be doing this, if this beautiful woman by my side hadn’t given me her blessing. And bro, whereas I was ready to go out there and simply ‘wrestle’ to see who was the better man, if you are going to threaten me, and stop me from being able to be a Dad, and take care of my wife by putting me out of business… then dude, we have a problem and you’re going to find out there’s a little bit of the ‘Devil’ in all of us.

He laughs, he didn’t honestly believe it would come to this, but Eli had made himself pretty clear of his intentions.

Shaun Cruze: “You see Eli, you seem to know who I am, and what I’ve done, so color me impressed. Yeah, I achieved some pretty cool things when I was active and that is something no one can ever take away from me. I’ve spoken already about how talented you are, the whole world knows that Tombstone can fight, it’s a given…

He shrugs his shoulders

Shaun Cruze: “…so I’m not going to dwell on that any longer. But if you think I’m scared of you Eli, if you think your little ‘Devil’ schtick is going to have me running to the hills, you are very much mistaken.

His eyes narrow, his demeanor changing.

Shaun Cruze: “See, I was fighting people like you when it was fashionable. I was one of those that took it to the Sinistry, to New Eden, and to the likes of Blitzkrieg, a TRUE demon in every sense of the word. I fought with the Todds, and the Frosts of this World and come out the other side and I’ve given every bit as much as I’ve taken. So you Eli… with your talk of ‘blood flowing’ and your ‘boot resting on my skull’ it’s like water of a ducks back and only served to achieve one thing.

He points at the camera

Shaun Cruze: “YOU… have just given me another purpose to be here. After your ‘words of wisdom’, I’ve no intention of saying goodbye tonight here in Indianapolis, and these ‘Opening Shots’ will now just be a part of the ‘final hurrah’. I need to teach you a lesson, because without it you’ll never understand the lengths a person will go to, to protect those they truly love. It’s seems like nothing more than a theme to you, a catchphrase, look how easily Sundown was cast aside. A ‘brother in arms’ now nothing more than a ‘puppet’ for the Unforgiven. And what did you do to stop it? Nothing. So much for ‘protecting your own’.

He takes Dorothea from Angyalka, and gently cradles her in his arms, looking down at her for a few moments, this being almost everything he cared about in one camera frame.

Shaun Cruze: “Eli, when you truly possess what I have, when it isn’t just words and is something ‘real’ to lose, and then running parallel with that you have the desire to protect that at all costs… that’s a pretty powerful weapon to have. Perhaps this was your intention, maybe you were indeed looking to provoke me, to get the real ‘Shaun Cruze’? Well congratulations, at least you achieved something hey… because mark my words, tonight instead of just showing my face, I’m going to make damn sure the ‘Devil’ gets his due. In just a few moments, you find out why I am, and always will be… the Impact Player.

He leans forwards and kisses Dorothea on the forehead, and then Angyalka as well, both of them then turning towards the camera as the scene fades

Eli Zechariah Goddard vs. Shaun Cruze

Off switch the lights plunging the arena into darkness, a few flashes from cameras are seen but that darkness is only temporary when the big screen above the stage lights up to that of the Texas desert. A sand storm is picking up and through the swirl of sand we see 3 shadows making their way towards the camera. They get closer and closer and it is then we see who they belong to Sundown, Sawyer and Eli Goddard. All three members of Tombstone stare at the camera each one reciting the words in unison.

.We.  .Protect.  .Our.  .Own.

The stand storm then engulfs the screen forcing smoke to bellow out onto the stage with tinted lights while the opening to “Devil Gets Your Soul tonight” by Nick Nolan hit’s over the P.A system and when the lyrics kick into play, the lights come back starting from the stage then onto the arena itself. Standing on the Stage is Eli Zechariah, either side of him is Sundown and Sawyer. All three men look out towards the crowd and then the ring where Eli’s opponent waits as a disheveled voice speaks over the P.A System…

Disheveled Voice: “Ladies and Gentlemen, hailing from Tombstone, TX… The man before ya’ll weighs in tonight at 208lbs and is being watched over by his brothers in arms, his kin, the men known as Sundown and Sawyer… Who is it I speak of? Well ya’ll, it is The Blood Butcher… ELI ZECHARIAH GODDARD!!!

The crowd continues to react unsure of what to make of both me as the Goddard Family known to the wrestling world as Tombstone look out towards them. Eli unclips his mask and removes his jacket before walking down the ramp and quickly sliding into the ring while Sundown and Sawyer follow suit and stop short at the bottom of the ramp.

Jessica Winters: “Eli brought his own crew out here.”

Adam Allocco: “But they’re not going further than the bottom of the ramp. They’re turning back. Looks like they’re going to let Eli handle this battle on his own.

Jessica Winters: “At least that means Shaun doesn’t have to watch his back. Those guys definitely look shady.

The opening rifts to ‘You know my name’ kicks in over the PA system, the arena all jumping to their feet in unison as a ‘Cruze’ chant starts to roll around the arena. After a few moment, the curtain parts, and Shaun Cruze steps through it, and onto the stage.

Phillips: “Ladies and Gentlemen, currently on his way to the ring, hailing from Los Angeles, California, and weighing at 225Ibs… he is the Impact Player… SHAAAAAAUN CRUUUUUUUUUZE!!!

Shaun steps forwards and to the top of the ramp, looking out over his adoring fans, lifting his hands and applauding them as he also nods his gratitude. With a final smile, he starts to walk down to the ring, high-fiving with the fans at ringside, and shaking hands. He stands smirking next to a fan who holds a banner saying ‘Come back Shaun’ before then running and sliding under the bottom rope. He walks to the middle of the ring, and holds out his arms, the noise level absolutely off the chart. From behind, Eli crashes down into him tackling. Shaun stumbles to the outsides out of the ropes with Eli right on top of him, still swinging away. Both land on their feet, Eli takes Shaun by the head and just tosses him into the steel steps.

Adam Allocco: “As you were saying?

Jessica Winters: “The match hasn’t even started? I get Eli gets his kick from taking people out, but at least do in the ring, after the bell has rung.

Adam Allocco: “Cruze might have forgotten how this business works. People don’t work on your schedule, mister movie star!

Shaun Cruze pushes up onto his feet and stumbles along the apron. He turns but there’s Eli tosses himself into Cruze, sending Cruze spine first against the ring post. Cruze lets out bit of pain but he shoves both hands out to thrust at Eli’s neck, managing to throw him aside. He reaches for his back, wincing. The referee has finally decided he had enough and to go out. He starts to talk to Shaun Cruze, asking if he wants to start.

Adam Allocco: “We saw in just the last match this same tactic. Get your opponent jump.

Jessica Winters: “You could inform the referee to disqualify Eli for the attack.

Adam Allocco: “Did I do that to Kayla? And looked, Max Kane survived just fine and now he has a date with Josh Hudson in two weeks.

Shaun Cruze shoves the referee out of the way as Eli Goddard swings a chair. Cruze drops to the floor, the chair hits the steel ring post with a clang. Referee immediately latches himself onto the chair as he yells at Eli. Eli manages to free the chair from the referee but there’s Shaun Cruze with a crescent kick, launching that steel chair back into the face of Eli.

Jessica Winters: “And you condone Eli deciding to use a chair on top of that.

Adam Allocco: “But did Shaun need any intervention? He might have forgotten business, he still has some instincts. Eli’s regretting introducing that steel chair.

Cruze steps up the ring steps and enter the ring again. Eli is holding his head in pain from where the chair struck him.  He holds out his arms again, the crowd becomes deafening. Referee steps up to Eli shoves him out of the way, he rolls into the ring. The referee decides to call for the bell. Cruze turns and sidesteps Eli’s attempt to tackle him, tossing him into the corner. Cruze comes in with an elbow, striking Eli across the side of the face. Eli shoves him backwards and steps forward right into a hip toss from Shaun Cruze. Eli arches his back as he climbs up onto his feet, Cruze slaps on a front facelock, hooks the leg, and there’s a fisherman suplex.

Jessica Winters: “For a moment there, I had a bit of concern about Shaun’s surgically repaired back.

Adam Allocco: “Sometimes bumping a old war wound makes it sting, but he didn’t seem to have any issues lifting Eli up for that fisherman suplex.

Jessica Winters: “Earlier tonight, we witnessed several other former SCW World Champions booted from the tournament by lesser known names. You think Eli stands a chance?

Adam Allocco: “I think I had Eli towards the top of my predictable upsets. He’s relentless. He’s tenacious. And he’s been competing at a high level for a while now. Shaun Cruze’s body might not be adapted to a full length match.

Eli begins to climb to his feet. He’s taken and whipped into the ropes and brought down with a clothesline by Shaun Cruze. Eli’s back up immediately. He ducks underneath the clothesline this time, leaping onto the second rope and springboarding back with a crossbody but Cruze delivers a superkick, shooting Eli down in midflight. He then doesn’t stop as he flies towards the ropes, springboard moonsault onto Eli!

Jessica Winters: “Shaun Cruze is cruising here! Lionsault followed by the pin!

1…
2….

Jessica Winters: “Eli shoots his shoulder up.

Adam Allocco: “Shaun Cruze is in rhythm so far and Eli might regret salivating over this prey, because he’s definitely fighting back.

Eli rolls to the outside of the ring. Shaun Cruze steps up to the ropes and waits. Eli turns and Shaun Cruze slingshots over the top rope and flies down to take Eli off his feet. Both rolls and don’t come to a stop until they hit the guard rail. Both are slow to get up, but Shaun Cruze seems to get the better of the attack. He knees Eli into the gut and goes to throw him towards the ring but Eli counters and reverses the whip. Cruze flies backwards, back first into the ring apron where he winces in pain. He stumbles forward and Eli lifts him and delivers a spinbuster on the outside!

Adam Allocco: “Even I have to turn away. Knowing about Shaun’s history of back issues.

Jessica Winters: “I think Eli is quite aware of that. Does he not have any shame?

Adam Allocco: “When taking down an elephant, make sure you bring the right gun.

Jessica Winters: “This? You saw that he has family waiting for him backstage.

Referee orders Eli to return to the ring. He does so as the referee begins to count. (1…) Shaun Cruze still rolls on the outside, holding his back. (2…) (3…) He falls to his side and catches a handful of the skirt. (4…) (5…) He manages to pull himself up onto the apron. (6…) (7…) He rolls into the ring under the bottom rope. Shaun begins to pull himself up to stand but there’s Eli with a running knee, driven into the arch of his back. Shaun stumbles forward and falls into the corner. Eli backs up and then flies forward with a front dropkick to the lower back. Shaun bounces off the turnbuckle, backpedals towards the center of the ring right into a release german suplex by Eli.

Jessica Winters: “The cover!

1…

2…

Adam Allocco: “Only two! Eli is now bringing it to Cruze, to the dismay of the fans. They’re booing him hard here.

Jessica Winters: “Earlier tonight, we saw David Callahan steal the win from Lucas Knight and then immediately after Alban McConnell upsets Thirteeen. Is Eli going to be the third man that ousts a former SCW World Champion?

Adam Allocco: “This is not looking very good right now for Shaun Cruze.

Shaun powers to his feet, holding his back. He turns and sidesteps are closed fist from Eli. He ducks underneath the first round. Eli swings around but Shaun catches his forearm. Eli stomps down onto Shaun before poking the eye. Shaun, now stunned, throws a blind counter punch but he’s lifted up by Eli. Scoop slam delivered. Eli shoves Shaun onto his side, hops to his feet. He runs from one end of the ring back, diving down with a dropkick to the spin. Shaun tumbles over to the ropes.

Jessica Winters: “Eli has just been relentless. Targeting that back.

Adam Allocco: “He knows the opening, so he’s going to do what he needs to do to put down the great Shaun Cruze.

Jessica Winters: “The other week you had some strong words about Shaun, portrayed him as a very shady character with a bag of dirty tricks.

Adam Allocco: “Now now… I might have painted a bad picture of the man, but if he wants to turn this ship around, maybe he needs some dirty tricks. Eli’s in control and this isn’t going to last much longer.

Eli pulls Shaun away from the ropes, spins him around, pulls him in for the The Hunters Mark, Shaun ducks underneath spins around. Full Nelson locked in tightly on Eli as Shaun leads him away from the ropes. Eli kicks. He swings side to side, yelling in pain as Shaun presses down onto the neck as he has Eli trapped in the full nelson.

Jessica Winters: “Shaun Cruze reverses Eli, has him trapped.

Adam Allocco: “Shaun is bending Eli forward in a way that puts pressure on the neck. Eli’s feeling it.

Eli manages to dump Shaun forward but Shaun lands on his feet and runs into the ropes. He bounces back boots Eli who had lowered his shoulder waiting for him. Eli stumbles about as Shaun backpedals back into the ring, come firing off at Eli, shining wizard to knock Eli off his feet. The crowd erupts as Shaun Cruze climbs back up onto his feet. Adrenaline obviously flowing now. Eli fights to his feet. Cruze boots him in the midsection. Swinging diamond cutter. Cruze pushes Eli over.

Jessica Winters: “Shaun has Eli! The pin!

3-

Adam Allocco: “Not enough but Shaun is feeling it right now. The crowd is behind him. Nothing better to numb the pain that pure adrenaline and right now Shaun is feeling that rush.

Jessica Winters: “He’s signaling for the end!

Shaun Cruze goes for the Morality but Eli sidesteps it. Cruze stumbles forward and turns right into the Kill Shot! Eli doesn’t leave Cruze down, he yanks him up by the arms and pulls him into the Hunters Mark! Shaun Cruze seemed to have been steamrolled. The crowd boos.

Jessica Winters: “Kill Shot! Followed up by the Hunters Mark! Eli has just went nuclear and Shaun Cruze is out! Eli goes for the hook of the leg!”

3-

Jessica Winters: “Kick out! You could hear the sigh of relief the moment that shoulder shot out from the canvas.

Adam Allocco: “Come on kid, you gave it your best shot but Shaun won championships in the top promotions. You’re gotta to better than that.”

Jessica Winters: “But imagine a wrestler from EMERGE knocks off one of SCW greats? Especially given the recent history between the two companies.

Eli sits up, staring at Shaun Cruze who is crawling towards the ropes. Eli stands ups and begins to stalk Cruze from behind. Cruze pulls himself up using the ropes. Eli grabs him and lifts his legs up onto the top rope going for the Mercy Killing but Cruze slips forward, pulling Eli’s face first against the top rope. The crowd cheers as Cruze slides into the ring, runs the ropes and comes back CKO. The punch connects but launches Eli into the ropes. Cruze drops to a knee and holds his back.

Jessica Winters: “CKO! But Shaun isn’t capitalizing. That’s back is slowing him!

Adam Allocco: “He was running on fumes. Plus that punch sent Eli flying. He is tangled up into the ropes. What a mess!

Cruze slides Eli away from the ropes and covers:

Eli gets his right leg onto the bottom rope. Cruze rolls off, shaking his head but he doesn’t look defeated. He begins to pump his arm to the cheers of the crowd. He stands and he signals for Eli.

Jessica Winters: “IS he going for the Morality again?

Adam Allocco: “Finish him!

Eli pulls himself Cruze leaps forward with the Mortality again but Eli ducks, pulls the ropes underneath. Cruze is caught onto the top rope after missing the kick and Eli turns around, lifts up the other leg for the Mercy Killing!

Jessica Winters: “Mercy Killing! Eli gets the cover!

3!

Adam Allocco: “Another upset, and this time the crowd is furious!

Jessica Winters: “Eli manages to have put down a Wrestling Icon, but it took everything for him to do so.

Adam Allocco: “This is what is so great about this God of Wrestling tournament. It has made stars out of future greats. Shorty Jr… Christy Matthews have used this tournament as a launch pad for their careers, and now maybe Eli Goddard is the next to do so.

“Devil Gets Your Soul Tonight” rings out as Eli fights to his feet. He eyes down the work he has done before promptly leaving to little fanfare. He walked a little slow up the ramp, but he doesn’t look back.

Adam Allocco: “That man is on a mission.

Jessica Winters: “Meanwhile, Shaun Cruze is still in the ring. He is up on his own two feet but he isn’t happy with this end result.

Shaun Cruze stands in the center of the ring and looks around. His hand is on his back. He scans the audience which gives him a standing ovation to which he nods. He drops down and rolls out of the ring, starts up the ramp, waving farewell to the fans.

Jessica Winters: “A bittersweet sight to see, Shaun Cruze, walking up.

Adam Allocco: “I doubted Shaun Cruze expected that he was going to be eliminated so early in this tournament. But knowing his competitive streak in him, I doubt this will be the last time we see him wrestle. He’s not going to let his career end on that note. He’s too proud for that.

Backstage
Jessica Winters: “We have received shocking news that an incident as transpired backstage.

Adam Allocco: “What now?

Security personnel are shown backstage, gathered together. The cameraman pushes through and looks down. The married duo of Dr. Grace Morningwood and Amelia Robson is shown unconscious on the cement floor. Amelia is bleeding. Grace groans, wincing in pain as she looks over. She lets out a shout as she reaches forward to her wife.

Jessica Winters: “What’s going on? Someone attacked Amelia and Grace?”

Adam Allocco: “This is just great! They’re supposed to compete. Whoever had beef, why couldn’t’ they wait until the match had been completed!

Jessica Winters: “Is that what you are concerned with?

A few medical personnel now are on the scene and they kneel down to check on both. Amelia waves her arms as she regains consciousness. A staff member waves away the camera. We return to ringside.

Jessica Winters: “They seem to regain consciousness, but we’re still not who is to blame for the attack.

Adam Allocco: “More importantly, are they going to be able to have their match later on? We have on match in the meanwhile, and the they must compete!

Jessica Winters: “That’s still your concern? I remember now why I was happy I stopped working for you.

Adam Allocco: “Oh don’t get you pant caught up in a bundle. I bet they are faking it! They complained to me about having to compete against each other, citing I purposefully pitted two spouses against each other for my sick amusement!

Jessica Winters: “Do you not have any shame? When I bumped into them earlier, they might have been annoyed at the drawing, but they were serious about competing. They’re professionals.

Adam Allocco: “We’ll get update either way once they get checked on properly by the medical staff. If they’re really hurt, I don’t want them to risk further injury by competing.

Jessica Winters: “Now that’s more responsible. Until we get you that update, we’re cutting backstage to hear from the Goddess of Desire herself, Katie Steward when she spoke earlier this evening…

Backstage
The camera cut backstage to Katie Steward sitting in her director’s chair. She’s in her wrestling gear and her beautiful white and pink ring robe as she awaits for her turn in the tournament.

Katie Steward: “This is my favorite time of the year. One of my favorite things in this business. A tournament with talent from all over the world compete to see who is the best and to call themselves a God. It’s a cute little title, but not the most important thing. The most important thing is that everyone has their eyes on me. So places like VALOR of wrestling can see what their missing. Don’t get me wrong I’m sure Katya is an amazing talent. She wouldn’t had thrown her name in this thing if she wasn’t. I look very much forward to facing her. This is going to be a clear message to the whole tournament. A notice. A reminder. That Katie Steward is a remarkable talent. An amazing actress that uses her talent to put on only the best of performances. This tournament is going to be no different.

Katie crosses her legs and leans on the arm of the chair.

Katie Steward: “See Katie Steward has a vision for this tournament. Every single round I’m going to make it through the story is going to be a pure master piece. It’s going to be a story of a woman reclaiming her Goddess-hood. It will definitely be an academy award winning performance. So Katya and Valor it’s an honor and a privilege for the God of Wrestling to give you a gift that keeps on giving. Me.

Katie laughs. TJ Johnson walks up to Katie’s director’s chair.

TJ Johnson: “Katie, it’s time they send me to get you.

Katie Steward: “Thank you TJ, now it’s time to remind the world why Katie Steward is who she says she is. I’m ready for my close up.

TJ leads the way as Katie walks off camera.

Katie Steward vs. Katya Djurdjevic
The arena lights dim down and pink light shine on the stage. “Queen:” by Loren Gray plays as The Queen of Queens and Goddess of Desire Katie Steward steps out on the stage. She walks her beautiful white and gold ring robe and spins around in a circle showing it off the crowd. TJ Johnson walks out onto the stage with Katie and the two nod to one another before Katie continues her walk to the ring with her arms out and his hands at shoulder length.

TJ Johnson: “QUEEN OF QUEENS! GODDESS OF GODDESSES!

Jessica Winters: “Oh good grief.

Adam Allocco: “Nothing wrong with a hype man, Jessica. Emotional support is so important!”

Jessica Winters: “I think you’re missing something, Adam.

Katie walks around the ring and up the ring steps carefully and across the apron. TJ runs up after her and holds open the ropes for her to enter the ring. Katie walks to the center of the ring and she disrobes for the crowd. She shows off her wrestling attire. TJ takes her robe and exits the ring and Katie to her corner.

Adam Allocco: “What am I missing, Jessica?

Jessica Winters: “We’ve had countless women in this tournament claim to be the next “Goddess of Wrestling”. Should Katie win, we could be looking at the “Goddess of Goddesses of Wrestling”.

There is a moment of silence from the announce team as Katie stands in her corner.

Adam Allocco: “I…I… I don’t think we have a plaque big enough to fit that… oh god…

Jessica Winters: “Goddess, Adam. Goddess of-

Adam Allocco: “Don’t say it again!

“Warriors” by Papa Roach plays across the PA as Katya Djurdjevic runs out from the back, all smiles and jumping up and down to the excitement!

Adam Allocco: “Well SOMEONE had their morning coffee – and probably three cups more after that!

Jessica Winters: “Katya Djurdjevic – all smiles and excited to be here!

High-fiving several fans on the side, Katya then charges to the ring and slides under the ropes to enter it. Jumping to her feet, she raises her arms in the air as Katie Steward just sneers at her.

Jessica Winters: “And here we go to start! Katie vs. Katya – winner advances to the next round of the God of Wrestling tournament!

The official singles for the bell and immediately, Katie charges forward to grapple Katya, unloading a mixture of forearm strikes and knee strikes to the startled Katya.

Jessica Winters: “And Katie not even wasting a second! Going right for Katya at the sound of the bell!

Adam Allocco: “Strike fast, strike hard. That’s my motto.

Jessica Winters: “That is not your motto.

Pushing her momentum forward, Katie gets Katya to the ropes before grabbing her arm and whipping her across the ring. Katya bounces of the ropes where Katie is waiting, catching the woman and dropping her with a hiptoss. Rolling over, Katie manages to transition into a mounted stance over Katya, throwing lefts and rights into her opponent’s face before grabbing her by the hair and slamming her head down repeatedly.

Adam Allocco: “Did Katya say something about Katie’s mother? Because it looks like a tantrum is happening in the ring. Not that I mind. Two women fighting is a favourite of mine.

Jessica Winters: “Remind me why I agreed to work with you.

Pulling Katya’s head up a little after the latest strike, Katie screams into Katya’s face, adding insult to injury!

Jessica Winters: “And ouch! Katie may have perforated Katya’s eardrums with that scream!

Adam Allocco: “What?! I can’t hear you!

The audience boo her as she slams Katya’s head down once more before getting to her feet. Katya, cupping one ear with her hand, pulls herself to the ropes nearby to pull herself up, though that is difficult as Katie stomps away on her back. As Katya gets to her feet, Katie goes for a forearm shot but Katya blocks it before landing a strong forearm shot of her own!

Jessica Winters: “And Katya finally is mounting an offensive!

Katie stumbles back, checking her jaw and somewhat surprised before running back at her opponent, only for Katya to meet her with another forearm shot. Moving forward, Katya connects with a third shot before spinning around and planting Katie with a discus clothesline, sending Katie to the mat. Running back to the ropes, Katya bounces off the ropes and jumps, dropping a leg onto the SCW veteran! Quickly, she transitions into a pin:

1

2- Katie easily kicks out.

Jessica Winters: “Despite a rough start, Katya with the first pinfall attempt of the match!

Adam Allocco: “Yeah but nowhere near enough to put Katie away! Did she forget that she’s dealing with the first female SCW World Champion in the ring?

Getting to her knees, Katya pulls Katie’s head up by the hair and punches her repeatedly in the face before pulling up the former world champion to her feet. With a knee to the stomach, Katya goes for a suplex, but Katie hooks the leg, stopping the movement and snapping Katya with a snap suplex of her own! Katay winces and struggled to get to her feet. As she does, however, Katie nails her in the back of the shoulders with a missile dropkick, sending Katya right into the turnbuckle roughly! Katya bounces off the ropes and into a roll up from behind by Katie!

1

2

Katya kicks out with a roll, using the momentum to spring to her feet and charge at Katie as she gets up, crushing her with a body avalanche! Landing on her feet, Katya unloads a series of boxing punches to the midsection and head!

Jessica Winters: “Katya was in a bad way with being pinned but she turned it around and now just unleashing strikes all over Katie!

Adam Allocco: “Oh come on! Katie is the Queen of Queens! Not a punching bag!”

The audience cheer for her as she turns around and grabs Katie’s head. She runs forward and jumps for a bulldog but Katie stops her and immediately throws her back, slamming her with a back suplex!

Adam Allocco: “And that’s what happens when you get distracted by the audience!

Jessica Winters: “I don’t think it was a distraction but Katya just got rocked by a strong reversal by Katie!

Rolling over to her hands and knees, Katie shakes her head to clear out the cobwebs. She manages to get back to her feet in time to stomp away at the head of Katya. Grabbing her by the hair, she pulls Katya up before dropping her with a bodyslam in the middle of the ring. Grabbing Katya’s legs, Katie twists her around into a sharpshooter, the official immediately dropping to check to see if Katya gives up. Katya shakes her head, refusing to tap, though the pain is evident.

Jessica Winters: “And Katie, once more, firmly in control here! Putting that pressure on the back! Katya desperately needs to get to the ropes!

Adam Allocco: “Even if she doesn’t, that’s a veteran decision by Katie! She’s wearing down Katya! Taking apart that back!

Pushing herself forward, Katya manages to pull herself closer to the ropes, despite Katie screaming at her to tap out. Still, Katya continues to pull herself closer to the ropes, the fans cheering her on.

Fans: “Katya! Katya!

Katie Steward: “SHUT UP!

Katie’s scream is almost as loud as the fans but they drown her out by being louder in their cheers. With one last pull, Katya reaches the ropes and clutches them for all she is worth! The official, quickly, rushes to Katie and demands she release the hold for the rope break, but Katie refuses!

Jessica Winters: “Oh come one! Katya got to the ropes but Katie is refusing to break the hold!

Adam Allocco: “I don’t see any rule breaking yet…

Immediately, the official begins to count!

And just as he is about to say ‘five’, Katie releases the hold, holding her hands up in mock-innocence.

Adam Allocco: “See? Katie playing nice and following the rules.

Jessica Winters: “Oh please! That was a blatant bending of the rules if you ask me!

Adam Allocco: “I didn’t ask you!

Katya, smartly, pulls herself out of the ring, staying on her hands and knees. It takes a moment for Katie to realize where her opponent is but as Katya pushes herself up to her feet, Katie reaches over the ropes and grabs her by the hair and begins pulling her up onto the apron. As she does, however, Katya spins around and grabs Katie by the head, dropping her with a guillotine drop on the top rope! Katie slings back, landing on her back in the middle of the ring! Pulling herself up onto the apron, Katya pulls on the ropes to spring herself back into the ring, landing a modified senton splash onto Katie!

Jessica Winters: “Katya goes for the pin!

3-

Jessica Winters: No- Katie gets the shoulder up! And Katya almost with the upset! This could be the win of her career here tonight!”

Adam Allocco: “We already seen several of those here tonight as Thirteen and Lucas Knight both been ousted from the tournament… maybe Katie will be the third former SCW World Champion to join them!

Running a hand through her hair, Katya pulls Katie to her feet and drops her with “The Deathblow”!

Adam Allocco: “NO!

Jessica Winters: “Deathblow! Katya got it! Katie is in trouble!

Katya slams her hand on the mat, feeling the momentum as the fans cheer her on! Pushing herself to her feet, Katya rushes to the nearest turnbuckle and climbs slowly onto it. Pointing at Katie once at the top, Katya leaps off with a 450 splash –

Jessica Winters: “THUNDERING SKIES!

Only to slam into the mat as Katie throws herself out of the way!

Adam Allocco: “THUNDEROUS LANDING! Nobody home!

Katya clutches her ribs, clearly in pain as Katie pulls herself to her feet, a look of intense anger in her eyes at how close she was to losing the match!

Adam Allocco: “And Katya just mad Katie mad…

Jessica Winters: “I think Katie’s more mad that she came closer to losing than she thought she would-…

With a shake of her head, Katie charges to Katya and nails her with the Botox Injection! Katya spins but only falls to a knee!

Adam Allocco: “You were saying?!

Jessica Winters: “Vicious kick by Katie Steward!

Katie refuses to lose any more momentum as she grits her teeth and pushes herself up and grabs Katya from behind, dropping her with a violent Platinum-blonde!

With a huff, Katie hooks the leg!

3!

The official calls for the bell as Katie rolls off Katya, the fans booing the SCW veteran. Pushing herself to her feet, Katie demands the official raise her hand, which he does before releasing it and turning to check on Katya.

Jessica Winters: “So close. While Katya had a few moments where she looked like she could turn this into an upset, Katie maintained control and ended the match the second Katya got too close. Hate to say it but smart choices by Katie Steward tonight.”

Adam Allocco: “Which means it’s a become more possible that I’ll have to replaque the trophy if she keeps winning…

With a smug grin, Katie exits the ring and walks up the ramp, posing all the while and shouting “Goddess of Goddesses of Wrestling!” over and over again!

Jessica Winters: “As Katie Steward is leaving victoriously and the referee is checking on Katya. Let’s talk about Amelia Robson and Dr. Grace Morningwood.

Adam Allocco: “Right now Amelia suffered a deep laceration. Both suffered injuries, of which nature I haven’t received. Both are being examined still and are currently in the concussion protocol. There are zero details surrounding the attackers, but since we’re working with SCW insurance, it doesn’t look like they’re going to be medically cleared.

Jessica Winters: “And what happens then?”

Adam Allocco: “Despite the hassle, I’m willing to wait and hear for certain. But if neither can compete, I’m going to make the executive decision to give a bye next round to whoever wins the next match.

Jessica Winters: “10 wrestlers have continued on to the second round of the 2019 God of Wrestling, a mix of upstarts and a mix of wrestling icons. And that’s exactly this upcoming match is all around.

Adam Allocco: “Selena Frost, the face of SCW, against Jake Raab, upstart from Sin City Writing, and relations to SCW favorite, Konrad Raab.

Jessica Winters: “We already heard earlier in the night from Selena, but let’s check in footage we attained on Jake Raab earlier this evening.

Backstage
Inside of the locker room backstage is Jake Raab, sitting and praying he’ll put on a show for Supreme Championship Wrestling tonight. So far, he’s never felt welcomed and more of engaging with other people than his time in Sin City Wrestling. Jake was sitting in his locker room, wondering what he’d say on camera. Suddenly, when he’s about to say something, there’s a knock on his door as he stands up and walks to the door to open it to see it’s his masked cousin, Markus Raab other known as Lord Raab in the world of wrestling. He comes in and sits with Jake, and he says this.

Markus Lord Raab: “Konrad told me to come and check if you were alright.

Jake Raab: “Yes, I’m fine. You know, I’ve never felt more at home here than the disrespect I get in Sin City Wrestling, but here I am still representing them, while the others who disrespect me lacked guts to compete in the tournament.

Markus Lord Raab: “So, you’ve been preparing much for the match against Selena Frost? From what Konrad told me over the phone, he said she’s one of the toughest wrestlers in Supreme Championship Wrestling. Look, I’m an asshole, who am I to tell you what to do, but just do your best out there and do whatever you need to do to win because Jake, Sin City Wrestling, despite the heat there is with you and the locker room at the moment, you’re doing the right thing by competing in the tournament. After all, promoting Sin City Wrestling in other ways than pussy ass social media is the best way to do it.

Jake Raab: “I agree, but I’m focusing on giving Selena the best fight of her life. She deserves the respectful Jake that Sin City refuse to see in me. Selena Frost is someone I respect; you got to admire her achievements in SCW aren’t something you can ignore, right?

Markus nods, he never thought he’d to come here and get Jake ready for a match. Sure, he wasn’t the one for caring, but there’s a family code in the Raab household that you’d be there for them outside of the ring.

Markus Lord Raab: “Indeed. I have a feeling from how you were welcomed into the arena tonight, these fans are going to like you and support you to win. I know you’re on a rocky road right now, but imagine Jake Raab, overcoming someone who’s achieved everything there is to do in Supreme Championship Wrestling, although I don’t know why she’d continue and win the same titles over again when you’ve done everything in Supreme, of course, that’s my opinion when I retired straight after I won all titles in Sin City once.

Jake Raab: “Maybe she wants to rewrite history, but the fact is I’m going to show the world why I’m known as The Fiery Target and defeat Selena Frost in the ring and show Supreme company why they shouldn’t overlook me so I can go through to quarter and semi-finals to face whoever I’d face next, especially the well-known legends like Shaun Cruze, David Helms, Joshua Hudson, Shilo Valiant along with current members of Supreme roster like Max Kane, Katie Steward and other wrestlers on the roster I’ve never faced or encountered before. Of course, I will believe in myself after doing some archery I needed to do to release stress out of my system.

It was at this point Markus nodded at his cousin, agreeing with Jake’s points, even if he doesn’t know the majority of the wrestlers’ names on the roster and he says this.

Markus Lord Raab: “I can tell, but you should know, despite us being a different side of the fence on our opinions of wrestling, well sort of, you have to do everything in your power that no more will Sin City will disrespect you like they have and see you in a different light of you being a hero. Focus on Selena and beat her for the three count pinfall or submission.

Jake Raab: “Of course I will, without cheating, as she doesn’t deserve that. Thanks for coming by Markus, means a lot you’d be here, even if Konrad told you to.

Markus Lord Raab: “No problem. Don’t let those pussies on social media get to you with comments behind your back. They don’t have a backbone when they use social media to shit talk behind your back on there, instead of addressing it to you backstage in Sin City shows. Ignore them and find a way to block those pussies out, same here in Supreme if they attempt to use social media to address their comments which I doubt cos they aren’t children and are a serious company. I get comments about me all the time, but I don’t give a shit.

Jake Raab: “Indeed, I will put all the doubts behind me and do what I’ll say. I’ve said all I needed to say to Selena and I’m going to win because this Fiery Target is ready to tear the house down with Selena and win.

Markus Lord Raab: “Good luck.

Markus pats him on the back and leaves the locker room, while Jake gets himself ready by warming up as the cameras go back to ringside.

Jessica Winters: “Very bright man Jake seems to be. Good head on his shoulders, don’t you think.

Adam Allocco: “Nice guy, but too nice. This sport isn’t about being a nice guy. It’s about taking advantage and do whatever you must to win. We’ve seen that tonight, even that methhead David Callahan seemed to understand.

Jessica Winters: “That shouldn’t be a statement coming from this tournament’s top offical.

Adam Allocco: “Don’t tell me what I should or should not be stating. You look at the fans, they’re loving this show, eating all of this up. There are hundreds of thousands of people watching online on Twitch.tv. They wanted God of Wrestling, I gave them God of Wrestling. And I know they’re entertained and the most entertainment comes from people who goes the extra yard.

Jessica Winters: “But cheating?

Adam Allocco: “I never said any of that. Don’t put words in my mouth!

Selena Frost vs. Jake Raab

BELIEVE IT!

The SCW Universe are on their feet as  “The Truth About Our Time” by Allen/Lande as plays throughout the arena, snow “falling” along the electronic floor and screens as, out from the back walks the Snow Queen, Selena Frost, taking in the crowd of the SCW Universe.

Phillips: “Introducing first… from Nome, Alaska…. SCW Supreme Champion… the Snow Queen herself… SELENA FROST!

Slowly, Selena shifts her head, her sapphire eyes locked towards the ring as she lifts her front hand gracefully, extending it towards the ring, palm upward, her back arm lifted behind her to the sky. With a lift of her right foot, she suddenly slams it down into the ground, causing a crack like ice to form and sprint down the ramp and towards the ring!

Jessica Winters: “Selena called out a lot of SCW superstars including your own son, Adam.

Adam Allocco: “Everyone wants to be critic. Everyone wants to take a pot shot. It’s the nature of the business. In that regard, Josh Hudson and Selena Frost are no different from each other.

Jessica Winters: “Many considered her the Face of SCW so she has a lot on the line here. It would look bad for her if she loses to Jake Raab.

Lowering her arms, the Winter’s Knight walks down the ramp, her steps leaving footprints in the “snow” under her feet. Reaching the ring, Selena slides under the ropes to enter it. She gets up and lifts her hand up to give a twirl as the lights form to make a massive snowflake under her. Stopping her spin and lowering her hand back down, towards the audience, once again palm upright, a smirk graces her lips, her other arm lifting to the sky once more. With a slam of her foot, Selena caused the snowflake at her feet to “crack” as the rampway did, the shards of ice streaking out to all four corners of the ring to shoot out blue sparkles of light as the lights return to normal. She looks around as the crowd roars.

Adam Allocco: “She’s clearly one of the top seeds. But everyone I selected from the many wrestlers that applied had the ability to win. Jake Raab is one of those people I saw enough skill and a whole lot of spirit that he stands a chance… a slim chance against Selena Frost, but still a chance!

Jessica Winters: “Good to hear.

“Feuer Frei” by Rammstein plays over the sound system as Jake comes out through the curtain and he wears black MMA gloves with MMA German flag coloured shorts with his name on it with white arrows printed on his shorts.

Phillips: “From Dusseldorf, Germany, he is The Fiery Target, Jake Raab!

He high fives the fans as he gets into the ring and he does a hold up on the turnbuckle as he gets down from the turnbuckle and does a bow and arrow pose towards the camera before waiting for the match to start.

Jessica Winters: “This could very well be the final match of the evening, depending on the condition of Amelia Robson and Grace Morningwood. Who earlier in the evening was discovered unconscious… any updates?

Adam Allocco: “Not yet.

Jessica Winters: “And as you said, if they were unable to compete, whoever win this match will have a bye in the second round, automatically advancing to the semi-finals triple threat match.

Adam Allocco: “Exactly, Jessica. A huge advantage for whoever that might be.

Jake Raab steps up to Selena Frost and offers his hand. Both shake their hands and nodded to each other as that gets a pop from the crowd. They begin to circle around. Bell rings. Selena takes flight but Jake Raab takes her down with a double legs takedown and immediately mounts her, he begins to throw elbows onto Selena Frost. She manages to roll him aside and slip to her feet, almost standing in a matrixlike motion. She’s back up, Raab with an overhand punch to which the referee warns him about the closed fist. Selena stumbles backwards as Raab charges forward but he catches her with a drop toehold. She hops up over the top for a sideheadlock. Raab stands up, powering through and pulls his head free. He goes for a release german suplex. She flips over and lands on her feet perfectly. Raab turns and walks right into a pele kick!

Jessica Winters: “Jake Raab rattled!

Adam Allocco: “Selena Frost might be referred to as a queen, but she’s really a ninja. She’s able to counter anything and escape a lot of moves.

Jessica Winters: “He’s trying bully her with his style but she’s not having any of that.

Selena lines up Raab as he stands back to his feet and centers himself. She flies forward, connects with a dropsault. He falls backwards onto the corner. She comes charging forward but he steps out of way and throws her into the corner herself. He comes in from behind with a shoulder block, pressing her against that turnbuckle. As she stumbles backwards from the impact, he takes her and rolls backwards, leading into a german suplex, this time dropping Selena Frost onto her head!

Jessica Winters: “Rolling german suplex!

Adam Allocco: “She’s going to feel that in the morning.

Jessica Winters: “Jake Raab his attention completely fixated on Selena. He knows what opportunity this would be to get that upset victory.

Adam Allocco: “That’s what is great about this tournament. You have the opportunity make a name for yourself!

Selena steps up and turns. She steps right into a scoop slam. She arches her back but gets right back up. Jake Raab delivers another scoopslam. She again, gets back up. This time Jake knees her in the midsection and tosses her up onto her shoulder. She rolls forward through, managing to bring Raab forward into a pinning predicament. But she doesn’t remain there, instead she hops up and drills him with a front dropkick to the face. He rolls up onto his feet, holding his face. There’s an uppercut from Selena to knock Raab into the ropes. He bounces off, throwing a punch of his own but she ducks underneath it. She charges into the rope, springboards back and then grabs his arm for an arm drag. He rolls through though onto his feet but he doesn’t see the crossbody takedown. But despite that he manages to catch her, readjust her and runs forward for a powerslam.

Jessica Winters: “Counter! Powerslam from Jake, and the pin!

Adam Allocco: “Jake’s being using his power mostly, but hey he just countered one of the best in this business. Kudos to him.

Jessica Winters: “Why do I feel like you’re secretly hoping that Jake wins this?”?

Adam Allocco: “Oh, you know why…

Jessica Winters: “You really didn’t enjoy those words?

Jake pulls her up into a seated position. While he’s holding onto her back, he drives several stiff forearms to her face before standing up. Selena Frost pushes up onto her feet, checking her forehead and rubbing her back. From behind Jake Raab lifts her up into the electric chair. Selena spins around like a top, and throws herself backward into a hurricanrana! She pulls in both legs:

Jake Raab explodes from the pin.

Jessica Winters: “Selena with a counter now. So far a back and forth contest.

Adam Allocco: “He’s gaining too much confidence in his size advantage and we’ve see Selena Frost knock out men much larger than Raab.

Jessica Winters: “You mean Xander Valentine at Rise to Greatness?

Adam Allocco: “Just to name one.

Jake Raab scrambles on his feet. Selena goes to grab him but he steps forward and whips her into the ropes. She comes back flying with a leg lariat to knock him off his feet. He scrambles to his feet and there’s Selena Frost with the The Claim-Stake! Jake bounces up, stunned by the knee smash. Selena Frost flies towards the corner, before running across the top rope and leaping onto his shoulder for the Alaskan Dragonrana but Jake Raab swings her to the side and sit out in the center of the ring after a powerbomb!

Jessica Winters: “Jake Raab again with the counter! The pin!

Adam Allocco: “It’s gonna take more than that! But what a highlight that was! Jake Raab showed up to play and he’s making Selena Frost pay with some of these counters.

Jessica Winters: “Jake Raab is fired up. He’s stalking Selena Frost. Is he going to try to finish this right here and right now?

Adam Allocco: “Like your shot when you can afford to, young man!

Selena Frost stands up to her feet. Jake Raab goes for the Raabbuster! But Frost spins out of her and pushes him forward. He turns to search for her and-

Jessica Winters: “GLASS SHARD!

Adam Allocco: “The crowd just exploded! Jake Raab is down! She hooks the leg!

Jessica Winters: “Selena Frost seals the deal with that kick and that all that was needed.

Adam Allocco: “Maybe he got a little greedy. Selena Frost had prepared to counter the Raabbuster and knew immediately where to go afterwards. Well scouted out!

The Truth About Our Time” by Allen/Lande begins to play as the crowd still cheers. Selena Frost kneels down to say some words to Jake Raab before patting him on the back. He stands up. She raises his arm before he starts towards the back

Jessica Winters: “What a sign of character? Selena Frost seeming to show some respect to Jake Raab, no doubt impressed from some of those moves he pulled out there tonight.

Adam Allocco: “If you excuse me I’m about to make a phone call to see if this is the last match or not-

Jessica Winters: “Selena Frost is calling from the ring announcer’s microphone.

Phillips hands her the microphone.

Selena Frost: “Cut the music please!

Adam Allocco: “I haven’t authorized this!

Selena Frost clears her voice.

Selena Frost: “That certainly felt good to come out here tonight and wrestle in front of you. Especially felt good to wrestle a strong, honorable opponent such as Jake Raab… and to get that win. But there is something that is not sitting right with me and I am not going stand here until I get answers.

Jessica Winters: “What is she talking about?

Adam Allocco: “Here I am needing to make a phone call to see if we have a final match and the so-called “Face” of SCW wants to make a scene.

Selena Frost: “Two outstanding wrestlers were attacked earlier this evening. While I hope that in the next few minutes, we get to hear their music hit and we can sit back to see which one of them get to face me next round, I’m not so sure that we all get to see that. So bear with me, you’ve all been a great crowd tonight… but I have something to say if that is indeed the case. So let’s wait and see if we have a happy ending or nothing.

Jessica Winters: “Selena Frost doesn’t look pleased at all, Adam. She’s upset.

Adam Allocco: “Oh, now isn’t the great time to go on some moral crusade, princess!

The cameras turn towards the empty entrance stage. A “BELIEVE” chant picks up in the crowd. Suddenly, “Judas” by Frozzy erupts from the fans. Josh Hudson steps out from the back in his street clothes, but he’s holding out.

Jessica Winters: “It’s Josh Hudson!

Josh Hudson: “Bad news. There won’t be any happy endings for you tonight. The show’s over, Selena. Get off your high horse and give it a rest.

Selena frowns as she turns to face Josh. He remains at the top of the ramp. She points at him.

Selena Frost: “Is this all your doing? I knew you to be a scoundrel of a man, but do you really have little faith in yourself?

Josh Hudson: “You better bet your frozen ass that I believe in myself and these two fists.

Selena Frost: “Then why attack them? Please explain to me what exactly made you do it.

Jessica Winters: “Did Josh Hudson attack Amelia Robson and Dr. Grace Morningwood? I wouldn’t put it past him!

Adam Allocco: “He would be that kind of asshole.

Josh Hudson: “I didn’t say I did it. But I will say this… relax. You benefited from this. Sinc they can’t compete… you get to sit all cozy, all safe during the second round so when the semi-finals roll around, I will finally get my opportunity to devour you.

Selena Frost: “Why wait! Let’s settle this right now!

Selena drops the microphone and the crowd goes crazy. Josh Hudson starts down the ramp. Selena positions herself, waving Hudson on.

Adam Allocco: “Oh no… this isn’t what we want.

Jessica Winters: “Selena Frost and Josh Hudson are going to fight here, tonight! What about the tournament? What if they get injured?

Adam Allocco: “I need to put a stop to this…

Josh Hudson strolls down to the ring, a sinister grin on his face as he eyes Selena. He begins to step up the ring step but stops.

Josh Hudson: “I would love to end you right now, Selena. I would but you see that asshole up at the top of the ramp. He’s dying for the opportunity to kick my ass out of this tournament. And from the looks of it….

Yellow jacketed security members begin to start down the ramp.

Josh Hudson: “I would haven’t had time to savor the feast anyways. So sit tight, Selena Frost, you’ll finally meet your fate in two weeks.

Josh Hudson drops the microphone before stepping backward. Selena starts forward as security starts to separate the two. The scene ends with Josh seeming to be amused. A highlight video of tonight’s matches run through until the feed ends. The updated bracket is shown on the screen.
