A shot of Kelcey Wallace nailing Bree Lancaster with the Perfect Ending, followed by a shot of Steve Griffin hitting the Decimator off the top rope on CHBK at the first Rise to Greatness, before turning a shot of Jake Starr pumping up the crowd on his way to the ring, before turning into a shot of Ravyn Taylor sitting in the corner, waiting for the start of a match. We then see a shot of Katie Steward holding the Women’s Championship before cutting to a shot of Selena Frost hitting Vixen Cain with the Defying Gravity at Supreme Saturday: Just Desserts.

A hologram globe lights up in what appears to be a techy console, a war room of shorts. The virtual Earth turns, the shades of blue differentiate continents from oceans. Generic rock music begins to plan, and suddenly the smashing of a cymbals leads to an explosion over Asia, the fuzzy image of two men grappling pops up. As the global turns away, another explosion shoots out from the Earth’s surface, two men gets their arm raised up into the air. The globe begins to spin faster, the explosions with the footage occur to make the increase in speed. Double dropkicks, double chokeslams, a doomsday device. The clips begin to blur until the entire globe explodes in a bright, blinding light.
The light gives way, we see a huge gold cup resting on a marble pedestal with a bright gleam. Two arms reach out from either side of the of the screen to grab onto the handle. The brightness turns down enough to make visible the writing underneath the SCW logo:

A loud hammer of snarls bursts through as the cup deconstructions into thousands of triangles. We cut to the live feed of the Twitch broadcast.

The standings are show on the screen before shifting to the backstage studio. Standings remain on the monitor besides Adam Allocco, who is wearing a full business suit despite standing in the tropical paradise of Hawaii.
Adam Allocco: “Through the past month and a half of, through five rounds of thrilling, top-notch tag team action, six teams, specifically selected and strenuously screened, strived to be named the 2020 World’s Best. In that given time, we seen some teams survived struggles while others suffered defeat. Through four rounds, we determined the finalists: Devin Brando and Lyza Reyes will compete against the Pina Coladas at Taking Hold of the Flame 2020 to determine the World’s Best tournament champions.”
Cameras change angles. Adam Allocco held out his hands, palms facing the ceiling. Seduction, the Dresser Boys, and Honourable Win are shown on the screen besides him.
Adam Allocco: “So why even bother with this fifth round. Seduction can’t unseat Brando and Reyes for the second spot. The Pina Coladas are virtually untouchables. We’re wrestling tonight for the sake of pride, and pride only. Seduction, Honourable Win, the Dresser Boys… all three were outmatched. Seduction has put years and years into tag team wrestling, once considered one of the top teams of the decade outside SCW. The Dresser Boys are SCW tag team legends, dominated the division for a number of years. Gable Winchester is a tag team specialist, who can bring any partner to the stage and compete for SCW Tag Team gold. All three teams have their pride in tatters. Tonight, they can fight for the right to go out on a good note.”
Devin Brando, Lyza Reyes, and the Pina Coladas are now shown. Camera changes switches again.
Adam Allocco: “What about the top dogs? What’s in it for them? Pina Coladas no doubt wants to enter the finals, knowing they’ve been perfect. To think, two youngsters have found incredible chemistry on the fly to potentially outlast this tournament without a blemish on their record. Reyes and Brando, they are both wise to the fact that momentum is everything in this business and they want to roll into Taking Hold of the Flame, correct their round one loss, and go on to be the 2020 World’s Best. Neither team were the Vegas favorites entering, but both teams have made a name for themselves.”

Backstage, we’re in the locker room of the Stan Sheriff Center. Konrad Raab sits there, staring at an empty locker room, alone. He’s wrapping his arms in tape as he shakes his head. Finally, Gable Winchester comes bursting through the door.
Konrad Raab: “There you are!”
Gable ignores him completely, setting his duffle bag on the next bench over.
Konrad Raab: “I’ve been trying your phone for two weeks. Now you show up at the last minute? Are you that upset that you’re avoiding me. We’re a team. We should be completely honest and open to one and each other.”
Gable glances up at Raab, but pulls out his ring attire, without saying a word.
Konrad Raab: “Listen, I get that we have not had the best of chemistry. I, of all people, have a right to be upset. And you have right to be upset too. I respect you. I hope you share the same feelings in return. Let’s hash it out, go out there and steal the show. Who knows what the future might hold?”
Gable Winchester pulls the AirPods from his ears. He slowly approaches Konrad Raab. He steps right up to the sitting Konrad. Konrad stands up. Both men stare each other down. Suddenly, Gable breaks out with a wide smile.
Gable Winchester: “My bad, man. My bad. I meant to call you myself but I busted my phone. You got nothing to worry about. Let’s leave everything in the past and consider tonight with a clean slate, got it?”
Konrad Raab: “Seriously?”
Gable Winchester: “You want to steal the show? Well, I want to steal the show too. I want to leave with everyone talking about me.”
Konrad Raab: “So let’s do this!”
Gable Winchester: “Hell yeah, let’s do this!”
Raab offers out his hand and Gable Winchester takes it and they both shake their hands. Gable returns to his back with shit grin on his face. Raab seems to be relieved as he sits back down to finish taping up.

The cameras now switch to the hallways of the arena. Pina Coladas are walking in their ring gear, side by side, conversing. HUNG slaps his hands together and is walking with mad swagger. Delilah seems potentially embarrass.
HUNG: “Unstoppable. Unbreakable. Yo, we’re unbeatable. 4-0, 5-0, 6-0!”
Delilah: “Stop.”
HUNG: “There’s nothing wrong with a little confidence!”
Delilah: “You’re more than just acting with a ‘little confidence’, you’re outright being arrogant right now.”
HUNG: “But we’re THAT good. After tonight, we had beaten all the teams. All the teams.”
Delilah: “While I want to walk away, having that bragging right, I also know we can’t look past Honourable Win. And Reyes, Brando… they’re not going to look past us again. They’re right behind us, wanting to take-“
HUNG: “Steal! Let call a spade a spade. They want to STEAL that shiny, beautiful trophy from us.”
Delilah: “Alright, steal.”
HUNG: “RELAX. Let’s keep moving like we’ve been moving, and winning will continue to be natural for us. You and I, we’re a great team. Tonight, we’ll show it again.”
Delilah: “Okay. I agree.”
HUNG: “See, that’s the way!”
HUNG wraps his arm around Delilah, giving her a tight hug as they continue to walk down the hallway out of frame. The cameras now cut to the inside of Stan Sheriff Center. The crowd is jumping up and down to the music fed over the PA system. Pyrotechnics explode on the stage and in the smoke, we’ll taken to the announce’s table, this week off the entrance stage, right besides the World’s Best trophy.
Jessica Winters: “Aloha, ladies and gentlemen. We’re live in Hawaii for the final round of the World’s Best tournament. I’m Jessica Winters and I’m joined by the infamous, Adam Allocco.”
Adam Allocco: “We already seen from the teams of our initial bout. Honourable Win hasn’t been a good example of teamwork as the last three of their four tournament matches have been marred with miscommunication and mistakes.”
Jessica Winters: “And on the opposite spectrum, the Pina Coladas have been flawless. 4-0, looking to become 5-0 in this tournament tonight.”
Adam Allocco: “Reyes and Brando are backstage, monitoring this match. They’re going to be studying the Pina Coladas, scouting out any potential weakness they can exploit in their rematch.”
The scene shows Devin Brando and Lyza Reyes chatting amongst each other backstage. We return to the ring.
Jessica Winters: “If anything, first time that comes to mind, the Pina Coladas are flying high, there might be some overconfidence at play. If Honourable Win doesn’t humble them, perhaps Reyes and Brando will.”
Adam Allocco: “There’s a thin line between confidence and arrogance.”
Jessica Winters: “Something that you definitely know.”
Adam Allocco: “I’m prefect, thank you very much. I don’t ever make mistakes when it comes to professional wrestling.”
Jessica Winters: “And then there’s delusional.”

Honourable Win (Gable Winchester/Konrad Raab) [#4, 4pts, 1-2-1] vs. The Pina Coladas (Delilah/HUNG) [#1, 12pts, 4-0-0]
Phillips: “The following match is scheduled for one fall… with a twenty-minute time limit.”
Both Gable and Konrad come out at the top of the stage from either side as “Death Before Dishonour” blasts out around the arena. They both meet at the middle of the stage and fist bump before nodding to one another and walking down to the ring, slapping palms of the crowds as they go down before
Phillips: “Introducing first, making their way to the ring, weighing in at a combined weight of 400 pounds, they are the team of Gable Winchester and Konrad Raab, Honourable Win!”
Gable slides into the ring and Konrad circles around, slapping more palms before climbing up the steps and into the ring. Both pose on opposite turnbuckles before standing together in the ring, talking amongst each other as they wait for the match to start.
Jessica Winters: “Once one of the favorites of the tournament, they’re currently standing fourth in the rankings.”
Adam Allocco: “Both respected by the critics, but they have not been a good pairing as we initially thought.”
Jessica Winters: “Last round, Gable went as far as to walk out on Gable.”
Adam Allocco: “There’s a lot of frustration. Gable accidentally blasted Konrad with a steel chair before bailing. Konrad is definitely not a fan of that kind of behavior. But it looks like Raab is looking past that incident and want this team to work.”
Jessica Winters: “Let’s see if they can gel like a unit, we thought they could be.”
The lights go out with a flip of the switch as the opening to Escape by Rupert Holmes hits over the P.A System, all eyes then divert to the stage as a pink and yellow hue begins to emanate from the lights. The large Screen explodes into life with the words…
::The Following is a HUNG Production::
Then there is an explosion of liquid hitting the screen and washes away to reveal video of HUNG & Delilah strutting towards the screen along a beach. We then see various shots of them having fun, doing various activities. Surfing, jet skiing. Volleyball etc… The sun shines brightly, Hung is dressed in a multi-colour print shirt while Delilah is wearing a t-shirt tied at the waist and hot pants.
Phillips: “Ladies and Gentlemen, hailing from California… They weigh in tonight at a combined weight of Three hundred and five lbs. They bring with them the Rum and the Tumble… They are the PINA COLADAS!!”
Two spotlights shine down onto the stage now, one pink and one yellow, standing in a beam each is HUNG who is staring at his camera lens talking and Delilah who waves to the crowd. The arena lights come up next fully as the fans cheer for the two young talents. The pair walk towards each other and high five before heading down towards the ring, HUNG making sure to take Selfies with the fans and Delilah along the way since he can’t help himself. The pair quickly slide into the ring together and make their way to different corners. HUNG pointing the camera outwards to get a better view of the crowd while Delilah grins and waves. The two then jump down and head to their corner, HUNG laying the camera down and the pair begin to discuss their strategy for the up and coming match.
Adam Allocco: “And as we mentioned in the pre-match conversation, these two are flying high.”
Jessica Winters: “They entered this match as almost complete unknowns and they turn this tournament on its head.”
Adam Allocco: “They’re the hot team. Undefeated. But Reyes and Brando, their opponents in the finals, are also undefeated since their week one loss to the Pina Coladas. They are very interested in rectifying that week one loss.”
Jessica Winters: “We saw them backstage, watching the monitor, taking notes on this match.”
Gable Winchester and HUNG begin the match for their respective teams. They start circling. When the bell rings, they dart forward. Gable Winchester reaches up, snags HUNG’s head for a side headlock. HUNG lifts Gable up for a back suplex but Gable rolls off onto his feet behind. As HUNG starts to turn, Gable snatches and wrenches his arm. HUNG immediately rolls forward to escape the pressure. He sweeps Gable legs with an arm, but Gable leaps over the attempt. Once he lands, he catches HUNG moving forward with a hip toss. Gable immediately locks in a chin lock but HUNG stands right up. HUNG swings his elbow into Gable’s midsection. Breaking loss of the hold, HUNG runs forward. Gable runs to meet him, leap frogs over HUNG. HUNG keeps running, Gable turns and drops to the canvas, HUNG hops over. Gable pops up, attempts an arm drag but HUNG blocks it, and delivers an arm drag of his own.
Jessica Winters: “Chain wrestling to begin the match. HUNG is keeping up with Gable.”
Adam Allocco: “Gable was searching for a rookie mistake, but he did not find one with HUNG.”
Jessica Winters: “These are both cruiserweights. We know both men can keep up this pace.”
Adam Allocco: “They have stamina. That’s for sure.”
HUNG still has Gable’s arm. He pulls Gable for a few elbows to the side of the head. Gable and HUNG stand, Gable manages to reverse, leading HUNG’s arm behind his back in a hammerlock. Gable shoves HUNG forward into the corner. HUNG’s chest bounces off and Gable greets him with a stiff elbow to the kidney. HUNG yells in pain, swings his arm back but Gable shoves him forward against into the corner. Again, Gable meets HUNG with a kidney shot, this time with a closed fist. Gable pulls Hung’s head back and slams it across the top turnbuckle. HUNG stumbles away from the corner, Gable backpedals into the ropes, and brings HUNG down with a bulldog.
Adam Allocco: “We’re seeing a meaner side to Gable. First, he went on a rampage last week with a steel chair.”
Jessica Winters: “And then he left Konrad, after mistakenly hitting him.”
Adam Allocco: “I guess the Man of Win gets grumpy whenever he’s out of win.”
Gable waits for HUNG to find his feet. As HUNG brings to raise, Gable runs, catches him in the side of the head with a front dropkick. HUNG is launched into the enemy corner. Gable stomps down a few times on HUNG before Gable tags in Konrad. They both pull HUNG up. Gable catches HUNG with a double knee codebreaker and on the rebound, Konrad executed a bridging german suplex.
Jessica Winters: “Winning Combination!”

Jessica Winters: “HUNG kicks out. Beautiful teamwork out there by Honourable Win.”
Adam Allocco: “Maybe they’re finally on the same page. Right now, HUNG is in trouble to start this match.”
Konrad grabs both legs of HUNG and turns him over, he sits down with the Boston Crab. HUNG is yelling in the center of the ring. Delilah comes into the ring to meet Konrad with a gamenguri. Konrad’s hold on HUNG is broken as Konrad goes down to on knee, holding his face in pain. The referee rushes over to order Delilah back to her corner. She complies without any resistance. Konrad is the first to his feet. He walks over to lead Konrad up to his feet but HUNG punches him in the gut. He delivers another body blow. Konrad tries to react with a clothesline, but HUNG ducks underneath. Pele kick connects. Both men are down in the middle of the ring.
Jessica Winters: “This might be the opportunity the Pina Coladas need to steer this match into their favor.”
Adam Allocco: “Konrad’s absorbing some kicks to the head early on in this match. That’s not good!”
Jessica Winters: “Both men are crawling to their corners…”
Konrad dives forward and gets the tag first. HUNG seems to replicate but Gable hurries over and pulls him out of the reach of Delilah. Delilah slams the top turnbuckle in frustration. He lands a double leg drop across the back of HUNG’s head. HUNG rolls to the ropes for sanctuary. Gable reaches over and pulls HUNG by the back of the neck to his feet. He clocks HUNG with an elbow. HUNG responds with an elbow of his own. Gable stumbles backwards. HUNG leaps up amazingly onto the top rope, springboard off, catches Gable Winchester with a DDT.
Jessica Winters: “HUNG showing off his athletic ability.”
Adam Allocco: “Kid can jump. Jesus.”
Jessica Winters: “Both active men are down in the middle of the ring once more. They’re making that crawl again.”
Adam Allocco: “We already saw the advantage a team can get if they make the tag first.”
Both competitors dive and tag in their partners. Delilah and Konrad rush the ring. Delilah catches Konrad with a clothesline. Konrad scrambles to his feet and this time he barrels through with a clothesline of his own. Delilah isn’t down for a more than second. They start to exchange forearms and elbows. Konrad shoves Delilah back. Delilah springboards of the ropes and spins, blasts Konrad with a corkscrew elbow. Delilah sees Gable standing up in the corner. She comes charging, monkey flips him, throwing him as projectile against his own teammate.
Jessica Winters: “Look at Delilah go.”
Adam Allocco: “She’s going HAM right now on the Honourable Win.”
Jessica Winters: “She’s all alone. HUNG is on the outside, recovering from the rough start he experienced.”
Gable is on top of Konrad. Delilah throws herself onto the top rope. She leaps off with the Virtue, catching both members under the aerial attack. The crowd explodes. Delilah shoves Gable off Konrad and hooks the leg:
Jessica Winters: “The Virtue! Pin!”

Jessica Winters: “Konrad gets a shoulder up.”
Adam Allocco: “Delilah almost brining home the victory singlehandedly. Impressive.”
Delilah drags Konrad to his feet. Gable Winchester meanwhile stirs. Delilah shoves Konrad back, and charges forward with a clothesline attempt. Konrad ducks underneath. She flies towards Gable who tosses her up into the air, Konrad catches her with a powerslam.
Adam Allocco: “WIN-TER IS HERE!”
Jessica Winters: “This might be game over for the Pina Coladas’ dreams of going undefeated.”
Adam Allocco: “Konrad needs to pin! Here he goes, arm across her chest!”

Jessica Winters: “Delilah kicks out right before three!”
Adam Allocco: “HUNG is sighing in relief as he was too slow to get in there to break it up.”
Gable is forced back to his corner. HUNG retreats back to his. Konrad Raab is up on one knee, watching Delilah stir. Delilah powers to her feet, steps towards Raab, Raab lifts her up and delivers a spinebuster. He stands over Delilah, reaches it down, he lifts her by the throat and delivers the Iceinator. He pins down both shoulders, pressing his knee down on her torso.
Jessica Winters: “Iceinator!”
Adam Allocco: “This is it!”

Jessica Winters: “HUNG dives in to save the day!”
Adam Allocco: “He wasn’t slow on the trigger that time.”
Gable comes running into the ring. He goes to spear HUNG but HUNG pivots out of the way, in the process guiding Gable out of the ring through the middle ropes. Konrad is on his feet. HUNG comes off the ropes with a spear! Konrad is down! HUNG is ordered back to his corner. Once more this match sees both active participants down, seeking their corner.
Jessica Winters: “Delilah is making the trek to a manned corner. Gable’s not there, Konrad!”
Adam Allocco: “I don’t think Konrad knows that.”
Jessica Winters: “Gable’s still on the outside of the ring.”
Delilah makes the tag. HUNG comes in and marches right over for Konrad. He deadlifts Konrad Raab up for a german suplex into the center of the ring! Raab’s laid out in the middle of the ring. HUNG points to the corner and goes stomping over. He’s up there, swirling one finger in the air before diving across the ring, delivering a diving elbow drop!
Jessica Winters: “HUNG takes flight!”
Adam Allocco: “This could be it!”
Jessica Winters: “The hook of the leg!”

Jessica Winters: “No! Konrad Raab gets the shoulder up at the last possible moment.”
HUNG prances over to the corner to tag in an eager Delilah. Konrad’s lined up in front of a two-man firing squad. Deliah and HUNG both move forward for a double superkick on Konrad. Raab slides underneath, in between both competitor. He is up, springboard off the ropes as both turn to locate him, he takes both down with a leaping clothesline. Raab starts crawling to the corner of the ring. He goes to tag in Gable Winchester but Gable hops off the apron. Konrad looks confused.
Jessica Winters: “What the?”
Adam Allocco: “Gable Winchester, instead of coming to the rescue of Konrad Raab, has instead seemed to have abandoned Raab.”
Jessica Winters: “He’s not going to the back. He’s staying here.”
Konrad pulls himself up in the corner. He has his back turned to the Pina Coladas. He’s pulled from behind, whipped into the ropes. Bar – Ca – Di Party! Deliah goes for the pin:
Jessica Winters: “Bar-Ca-Di Party!”

Jessica Winters: “The Pina Coladas took care of business. They’re undefeated!”
Adam Allocco: “They didn’t say ‘no’ to the gift offered to them by the implosion of Honourable Win!”
Jessica Winters: “Konrad Raab has been betrayed. There’s no other way about it!”
Adam Allocco: “You don’t know Gable’s reasoning!”
The Pina Coladas begin to celebrate on their side of the ring. Konrad Raab rolls out, his upperbody out on the apron. He holds his head and looks up. Gable Winchester gives Raab the finger before backpedaling up the ramp.
Jessica Winters: “Is that enough now to condemn Gable?”
Adam Allocco: “Gable Winchester was promised victory by Konrad Raab, but Raab’s the one who backed on the deal.”
Jessica Winters: “Can’t believe you defending Gable!”
Adam Allocco: “Don’t you think you’re forgetting one thing?”
Jessica Winters: “What’s that?”
Adam Allocco: “The Pina Coladas are having a party out here and you’re being a party pooper.”
Jessica Winters: “I’m not trying to undersell the impressiveness of the Pina Coladas.”
Adam Allocco: “You sure are.”
The Pina Coladas stop their mini celebration. They see Gable’s sneering at the downed Konrad Raab. Both members walk over to Konrad Raab and help him to his feet. Afterwards, they show their respect to Raab by lifting his arms up as to applaud his effort.
Jessica Winters: “Hey, I’m not the only one to recognize that Gable shortchanged Konrad! Pina Coladas does too!”
Adam Allocco: “Okay, okay. Gable has some explaining to do. You win.”
Jessica Winters: “I don’t know if we ever will get a straight answer from Gable.”

Kelcey Wallace then walks into view. She just clears her voice. Cookie winces.

We then see images of each of the members of the SCW roster flash on the screen before the SCW Taking Hold of the Flame logo comes up on the screen.

Standing backstage about to go out for their match with The Dresser Boys are “Supergirl” Amelia Robson and Dr. Grace Morningwood. With them about to get the good word about what is going to take place (or at least what they hope is going to take place) during the match is none other than Jessica Winters, who might we say is looking very excited to be talking with this tempting tag team.
Jessica Winters: “Ok so that was weird.”
Amelia Robson: “What?”
Jessica Winters: “You didn’t here that?”
Amelia Robson: “Ummm, I didn’t hear a thing.”
Jessica Winters: “Right. And next I will guess that you didn’t hear thing either.”
Gracie Morningwood: “I don’t know, what was I supposed to have heard? If you can tell me that, then maybe I will be able to tell you whether or not I heard anything. Of course, my ears have been really plugged up recently, which might me that I didn’t hear anything anyway.”
Amelia Robson: “Oh no, your ear are still plugged up, that’s not good. The last thing we need is for Donnie to catch an ear infection from either one of us, because you know how he can get when he is suffering from an ear infection.”
Gracie Morningwood: “I know right! This one hurts like a b**** too!”
Jessica Winters: “Ladies please. I have some questions to ask you about wrestling. And also, you can’t really say b**** in interviews.”
Amelia Robson: “I know, she shouldn’t say that, I’m sorry!”
Gracie Morningwood: “Hey, she gets to say B****, why can’t I say B****?!”
Amelia Robson: “Gracie!”
Gracie Morningwood: “Don’t yell at me Mom, I’m sick damn it!”
Jessica Winters: “Yeah so, about my questions, there have been rumors surrounding the two of you saying that you are going to join the full time roster as a tag team in SCW. Can you comment on those rumors, either one of you?”
Amelia Robson: “I can neither confirm or deny those statements.”
Gracie Morningwood: “I guess we will watch SCW to wait and see what is going to possibly transpire, or not.”
Amelia Robson: “Right now we are going to go get some new Dressers. Shall we Gracie?”
Gracie Morningwood: “Of course. Its been Jess, so you at the ring!”
Cameras return on the ring.

Dresser Boys [#5, 3pts, 1-3-0] vs. Seduction [#3, 6pts, 2-2-0]
Phillips: “The following match is scheduled for one fall, with a twenty minute time limit.”
The lights around the arena begin to flicker as the iconic guitar opening to Stevie Nicks’ “Edge of Seventeen” begins to play. Dr. Grace Morningwood and “Supergirl” Amelia Robson burst out from behind the curtain, immediately playing to the fans around the arena.
Phillips: “Introducing first, at a combined weight of 210 pounds, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada… the team of “The Good Doctor” Grace Morningwood and “Supergirl” Amelia Robson…. they are SEDUCTION!”
They make their way down the ramp, slapping hands of the fans along the ring. Once down at the bottom of the ramp, they hop onto the apron, going back to back as they pose for the crowd. They climb into the ring and move around the four corners, one on the turnbuckle, the other on the ropes just to her right. They raise their arms and they get booed.
Adam Allocco: “Welcome back, Jessica.”
Jessica Winters: “Those two are something, aren’t they?”
Adam Allocco: “I don’t know if they’re playing with you or seriously picking on you.”
Jessica Winters: “They’re not being malicious. Don’t you try to badmouth them, pretending it’s for my sake.”
Adam Allocco: “I would never.”
Jessica Winters: “They’re entering this match as the third ranked team in the standings, let’s see if they go out with a win.”
“Shake Ya Tailfeather” from the Bad Boys soundtrack plays and Violator makes his way out onto the stage and continues walking to the ring as he’s focused on the match at hand. MV walks out second wearing a classic wrestling robe and he stops on the stage to pose for the crowd. MV hyping himself up from the cheery fans in attendances.
Phillips: “And their opponents, making their way to the ring… they are the team of Violator Black and Marcus V. Lopez…. The DRESSER BOYS!”
Violator rolls into the ring and walks to their corner where he psychs himself up and MV begins his walk to the ring. MV walks up the steps and wipes his feet on the apron before entering the ring. MV de-robes and walks over to their corner and the two have some words before their match begins.
Jessica Winters: “This has not been the turnout the Dresser Boys have expected when entering this tournament.”
Adam Allocco: “They were the favorites going in and they’re next to dead, perhaps able to finish this tournament dead last.”
Jessica Winters: “We’ve seen flashes of their brilliance, the same brilliance that made them a former time SCW World Tag Team Champions, but they might have been too removed from the ring.”
Adam Allocco: “Ring rust is killer. I know that for a fact.”
Jessica Winters: “They’re hoping to end this tournament on a high note, reclaim some of their pride.”
The bell rings. Marcus V. Lopez steps out from his corner to meet Dr. Grace Morningwood. The two circle around each other, slowly closing in to grapple. The bigger MV takes control with a side headlock. Grace pushes him forward into a job into the ropes, he comes back with a stiff shoulder block to knock her to the canvas. She’s on one knee before Lopez pulls her in a front facelock. Lopez lifts up Grace, Grace slips to the side, escaping the suplex attempt. She swings herself backwards, taking MV down with a Russian legsweep. Grace rolls up, blind tag made. Both members of Seduction enter the ring. Lopez is up, turns, and is steamrolled over by a double clothesline. Amelia drops onto his torso with an elbow drop. She reaches up, yanking forward the head of Marcus and hammering in some forearms to the side of the head. Marcus V. Lopez pushes her off. Both stand. Lopez rushes her, she goes to catch him with a drop toehold but he jumps over. He crashes into his corner, tagging in Violator. Violator enters as Amelia runs forward. Leg lariat takes him down to the canvas. She turns, but there’s MV with a clothesline. MV is pushed back by the referee.
Jessica Winters: “Good start to the match for the married couple.”
Adam Allocco: “Marcus V. Lopez slipping from their grasp, making the tag to bring in the reinforcements.”
Jessica Winters: “Marcus V. Lopez using Violator as an distract, trips up Amelia’s momentum.”
Adam Allocco: “Marcus V. Lopez never uses Violator. Don’t even let Violator hear you say that.”
Jessica Winters: “Uh… okay.”
Amelia pulls herself up using the ropes but she’s brought up and over by Violator. They both spill outside but land on their feet, side by side. Violator shoves Amelia, she collides, shoulder first into the ring post. Violator pulls back her head and slams it against the ring post. Violator turns, Grace Morningwood is on the apron, runs forward and collides Violator with a running knee strike,. Violator is sent flying back into the ring steps. Grace drops down. Amelia and her pulls Violator, they deliver a double suplex on the outside. They hug afterwards, but turn in time to see Marcus V. Lopez, grapping the top rope and propelling himself over, crashing down on both women.
Jessica Winters: “Chaos has broken out on the outside.”
Adam Allocco: “Referee, you’re supposed to be counting them out.”
Jessica Winters: “All four competitors are down on the floor.”
Adam Allocco: “Early fireworks in this contest, that’s for sure.”
Grace Morningwood is rolled into the ring by Amelia and Violator is rolled in by Marcus V. Lopez. Lopez and Amelia stare at each other after wards. They come running forward, Amelia ducks underneath the clothesline, Amelia jumps up the ring steps. She leaps back with a diving crossbody taking Lopez down onto the floor. Back in the ring, Grace Morningwood has pulled herself up but from behind, Violator pulls her into a rear naked choke. Grace struggles, trying to throw Violator off, over her shoulder, or simply trying to slips from his grasp. Violator sits her down in the center of the ring and she looks as if she’s fading fast.
Jessica Winters: “Grace’s in trouble. She’s entering this match ill with ear infection, and now she’s being put out. That’s not good news for her immune system.”
Adam Allocco: “At least she gets a nice snooze instead of feeling that pain in her ear.”
Jessica Winters: “She’s in trouble. Refereeing is seeing if Grace is out cold from Violator’s signature submission hold.”
Grace arm starts to drop but there’s Amelia with a running drop kick to Violator’s face. He’s launched off Grace. Amelia kneels down to check on her wife, who is dazed. Violator is back on his feet already, he stomps over, yanks Amelia off by the hair. She responds with a powerful slap across the jaw. Violator is stunned. Amelia follows up with an elbow to the face. Referee slides in, ordering Amelia back her corner. Meanwhile, Violator stumbles to one knee from the blow and then crumples over.
Jessica Winters: “Amelia, breaking up the submission and only trying to ensure her wife is alright, might have ended up knocking Violator out when he tried to interfere.”
Adam Allocco: “Amelia packs a mean punch that’s for sure.”
Jessica Winters: “Both legal competitors are down in the middle of the ring, they’re not all there.”
Adam Allocco: “Amelia and Marcus V. Lopez are trying to make the tag, to offer up some relief.”
Violator and Grace crawls to their corner and make the tag. Marcus V. Lopez and Amelia Robson rush into the ring, fired up. Amelia leaps over her downed wife and goes for a crossbody but Marcus V. Lopez catches her. He swings her down onto his knee for a backbreaker. MV holds her on his knee, bridging her back over. He releases the hold. He drops with three consecutive elbows before pulling her up by the back of the neck. He looks around and he hits the French Destroyer on Amelia in the middle of the ring!
Jessica Winters: “French Destroyer!”
Adam Allocco: “Game over! Game over!”
Jessica Winters: “Lopez hooks the leg.”

Jessica Winters: “Amelia drapes her leg over the bottom rope. Referee calls off the pin attempt.”
Adam Allocco: “Awesome ring awareness by Amelia. You have to admit, if Seduction is really going to sign with SCW, having notched a win over the Dresser Boys has to mean something.”
Jessica Winters: “Maybe that’s why the married couple are showing their resolve. They’re taken some big hits in this match, but they refuse to give up.”
Amelia rolls over onto her back and stares up at the lights. She throws herself over and begins to crawl. Grace is hunched over on the second rope, but she has her arm extended. Marcus V. Lopez intercepts, diving down with an elbow drop to stop her progress. Lopez then takes Amelia by the ankle and drags her to his corner. He tags in Violator. Violator climbs in, picks MV up and aims MV at Amelia Robson. He tosses Violator, but Amelia leaps out of the way and MV flies through the middle rope. Violator’s jaw dropped, but then he points and laugh at Lopez, who’s out cold on the outside.
Jessica Winters: “The Dresser Boys were going for their finisher but Amelia manages to leap out of the way!”
Adam Allocco: “More importantly, MV took a terrible fall, headfirst on the outside.”
Jessica Winters: “And Violator is laughing about it! I don’t think he believed what just happened.”
Violator notices Amelia crawling to her corner. He wags his finger and grabs her by the ankle but she hops up, mule kicks him in the jaw. She dives to tag in Grace Morningwood. Grace comes in and dives with a dropkick to the side of Violator’s face. Violator falls into the corner as Grace falls to one knee, she slaps herself in the cheek to focus and comes running forward, handspring into the corner to meet Violator with an elbow.
Jessica Winters: “She could have been gynamnast!”
Adam Allocco: “She could have been many things, but right now the Good Doctor is bringing it to Violator.”
Jessica Winters: “She’s making the long climb to the top!”
Adam Allocco: “ODE TO JUSTIN GABRIEL! NO- MV yanks Violator out of the ring and Grace gets nothing but canvas.”
Grace bounces with a few thuds, and cradles herself in pain. Violator slaps MV on the back, but MV does not look happy. The two begin to argue about you previous mishap, you know the one where MV landed on his head. Grace meanwhile tags in Amelia. Amelia helps her up and both members of Seduction points towards the Dresser Boys on the outside. Amelia is whipped towards them where she superman suicide dives through the middle ropes and takes both men out on the outside! The crowd explodes! Amelia rolls Violator to the ring and slide in behind him.
Jessica Winters: “Supergirl Amelia Robson showing off her super hero potential!”
Adam Allocco: “She also landed on her feet while knocking both men.”
The wincing Grace climbs to the top rope, holding her side but she’s locked in on Violator. Violator stumbles to his feet and she dives off. Cold Blooded Flipping Neckbreaker followed up with Amelia crashing down with the flipping-double legdrop!
Jessica Winters: “Temptation!”
Adam Allocco: “Pin!”

Jessica Winters: “Seduction fought through the pain and got the job done.”
Adam Allocco: “That win right there solidified them as the third ranked team in this tournament and winning tournament record.”
Seduction celebrates in the ring, with Grace holding her body. She is also pointing to her ear. Amelia gives her a great hug as they continue to parade up the ramp to the back. Violator and Marcus V. Lopez are left, speechless in the ring.
Jessica Winters: “While I enjoyed seeing the Dresser Boys back in action, this tournament shows that if they want to be a competitive tag team again, they’re going to need to put some time into it.”
Adam Allocco: “Poor decisions, uncharacteristic mistakes, the Dresser Boys suffered from ring rust.”

Making their way through the hallways of the Stan Sheriff Center, Lyza and Devin radiate togetherness and perhaps a hair of fury underneath that. Devin adjusts the tie on his suit, and he stops when he sees the camera bombarding him and his partner. Lyza appears receptive of the cameraman as she waves like a pageant queen.
Devin slants his eyes towards the camera and turns.
Devin Brando: “This is the part where I have to talk about tonight. I have heard nothing from the team that we’re facing tonight. Is it safe for me to assume that they’re not going to show up? They might, but they’re obviously checked out in regards to this tournament–one of the most prestigious ones in all of the wrestling world.”
Devin Brando: “Why do I have to waste words on them?”
Devin tilts his head.
Devin Brando: “It’s because it’s good for the camera and the business. It’s because it’s the respectful thing to do in the face of disrespect and cowardice.”
The Last King reaches around Lyza and pulls her forward.
Devin Brando: “Or I can have my partner here instill the fear of God in them.”
Lyza places a hand over her chin to appear pensive before speaking.
Lyza Reyes: “This is not the time to dismiss work commitments, so skipping out on tonight wouldn’t favor you unless you have a degree in nursing or know how to drive a forklift in a big box retailer. Now should our opponents show up, may they give us their best! We have fans that paid good money to see us, so they must get the best of the best and it’s not a one-sided thing. Both teams will need to make it worthwhile for those that made the drive out here.”
She pauses before switching gears.
Lyza Reyes: “Aside from getting everyone on board with an ‘all-hands-on-deck’ approach, we’re here to relay another message to our beloved Coladas. I know they’re not looking anywhere but UP at this point, so however I try to put it, I’ll look like the thief of joy in this…”
She takes a deep breath at the admission.
Lyza Reyes: “That’s never been my style, but there will be disappointed parties starting with Avery and Santos. Just remember that despite all of that, life’s a beach, and we’re in Hawaii, so if you can’t find a way to recover under those circumstances, then I don’t know what to tell you.”
Devin lets out a sigh, noting that his partner didn’t follow his cue. He steps forward to take on the camera again. He mutters something under his breath about how Lyza was way too sweet–but the camera doesn’t pick it up all the way.
“In route to the finals, all we can do here is continue to do what we’ve been doing. We’ll win here, and we’ll be ready for the undefeated. It’s an entirely simple concept. Beat them, send people home happy, and get ready for the hardest match of our time here.”
Lyza nods and the two proceed to their next destination as the scene fades.

Philips: “Ladies and gentlemen, this your night’s main event, set for one fall, with a twenty-minute time limit.”
The lights go out.
Phillips: “Introducing first, representing GCW… the team of JaMarcus Avery and Faustina Santos!”
“King Nothing” by Metallica echos from the louder speaker. When the lights come back on Faustina Santos appears on the stage. Behind her slightly to his left is JaMarcus Avery. He turns around. He takes a moment to soak in the reaction from the audience. He methodically walks down to the ring. Santos is skipping carefree behind him. He slides under the bottom rope. He takes a moment to open the rope for Santos. She enters. Santos sits on the top turnbuckle. He leans against the turnbuckle allowing the rest of the song plays out.
Jessica Winters: “Neither competitor have had any fun in this tournament.”
Adam Allocco: “Santos might still be laughing and skipping, but all her plans of fun have been spoiled, time and time again.”
Jessica Winters: “They even insinuated they were going to attack Brando and Reyes, but I think Brando scared them off.”
Adam Allocco: “You don’t mess with Devin Brando!”
A black and white video vignette begins rolling on the screens, showing Lyza Reyes dressed as Charlie Chaplin on the moon. There is no dialogue, but simply piano music playing with the pace of the footage. She’s caught in the middle of a tug of war match between a U.S. Spaceman, and a small group of miniature aliens. Before determining which side pulls Lyza once and for all, the feed goes dead. Television static comes through, which leads to a shot of Devin Brando, standing in the center of war born chaos. Half of his face is painted with his former persona’s essence. He glides his hand down his face before he starts down the centerline. The venue goes black.
“There’s no right, there’s no wrong, there’s only popular opinion.”
All while these videos play, the introduction of “Clockwork” by Hyper comes and goes. When the beat drops, Lyza Reyes and Devin Brando make their way out from behind the curtain. Devin gives the world a solemn look while Lyza moves around him, taking in the energy of their environment. When she clears out of his way, the Last King starts his way down the ramp. Lyza takes the time to slap some of the hands of the fans. Brando doesn’t seem invested in the action. When they make their way to the end of the ramp, Devin looks to both sides of himself. Lyza stops in front of him and turns to face him. Brando’s eyes fall on her and she gives him a pat on the shoulder before backing away.
Phillips: “And their opponents, weighing at a combined weight of 375 pounds, the team of Devin Brando and Lyza Reyes!”
With a nice turn of the heel, Reyes hit the ring steps while Devin opts to slide underneath the bottom rope. While the man rises, Lyza leaps over the top rope and scales the nearest turnbuckle. She points to some of the “Lyzanities.” When she gets off the turnbuckle, she turns to face the hard camera. Devin stands in their corner, seated against the second turnbuckle. She comes over and levels herself onto the top turnbuckle, finalizing their tandem as they await the beginning bell.
Adam Allocco: “Lyza Reyes and Devin Brando has come into this tournament with a mission.”
Jessica Winters: “Only the top ranked team has handed them a loss, but since then, they’ve been as perfect as one possibly can be.”
Adam Allocco: “Earlier tonight, we saw them watching the Pina Coladas in action. They don’t want history to repeat itself in the World’s Best finals at Taking Hold of the Flame.”
The women start this match. Faustino Santos waves to Reyes. The bell rings. Reyes comes charging. Santos sidesteps, pushes Reyes in the back. Reyes rebounds off the ropes and collides with Santo, getting her forearm up to smash Santos in the face. Santos reels backwards. Reyes backpedals into the ropes, springboards for but this time Santos catches her, tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. Reyes slides off Santo’s knee and pushes herself up. Santos quickly capitalizes, leaping up and double stomping the lower back of Reyes. She does so once more, hopping off of Santos to her corner, tagging in JaMarcus Avery. Avery lifts Reyes up onto his shoulder. Reyes begins to batter down with forearms. Santos is on the top rope, she connects with the missile toe dropkick, Reyes swings backwards as Avery executes a powerbomb.
Jessica Winters: “Rough start for Reyes.”
Adam Allocco: “Avery and Santos with a big time double team.”
Jessica Winters: “They’re winless. We already know they’re only here to meet their contractual obligations.”
Adam Allocco: “Everyone loves to win. If they’re forced out here, why not make the best of it, right?”
Reyes crawls to the ropes. She’s yanked back by the titanic JaMarcus. Avery climbs underneath the leg, lifts her with the stretch muffler. He manages to get a kick down to the back of the head while locking the hold in. Reyes struggles, managing to slip out from Avery’s grasp by climbing through his legs. Reyes leaps for the ropes, bounces back with a cross body takedown but Avery plucks her from the air. Avery throws her up onto his shoulder, but as he does so, she swings her body, hooking his neck and falling back with a reverse DDT.
Jessica Winters: “There’s an opening for Reyes to tag out!”
Adam Allocco: “She’s on the other side of the ring. Can she make it before Avery gets back up?”
Lyza Reyes crawls, rather quickly towards her corner. She’s just out of reach before Avery has her by the ankle again. She’s dragged back. Avery stomps down onto her lower back. Reyes finds her feet, holding her back. Avery tosses her into his corner. He crashes in with a spear, Santos makes the blind tag. As Reyes stumbles out from the corner, Santos brings her down with a running bulldog.
Jessica Winters: “Reyes almost made it but Avery intercepted her just in time.”
Adam Allocco: “They’re isolating her. Tag Team Wrestling 101.”
Jessica Winters: “Santos with the cover!”

Jessica Winters: “Reyes kicks out!”
Adam Allocco: “Brando didn’t even think about entering the ring to break up the pin attempt. He had complete faith that Reyes was resilient enough to escape on her own.”
Santos slaps the back of Reyes head as Reyes is herded to her feet. Santo slaps again but this time, Reyes gets her arm up to block. She responds with a backhand across Santos’s face. Reyes steps in with a knee to the gut. Reyes falls back into the ropes and jumps forward with a double axehandle. Santos is launched. Reyes explodes past her. Santos turns to locate but Reyes leaps over, catching the back of the head!
Jessica Winters: “Omai! Omai!”
Adam Allocco: “Reyes finally getting some shots in and they are devastating!”
Jessica Winters: “Both competitors are down on the canvas. Who will tag first?”
Reyes and Santos crawl to their corners. Santos gets the tag in first, Avery storms the ring. Once again, right before Reyes enter Devin’s reach, Avery pulls her away. Avery reaches down, grabs her by the throat. Reyes, however, wraps her legs around his neck, pulls on the arm for a triangle choke. Avery lifts her up and slams her against the canvas to break her hold. He manages to lift her up this time by the throat. He looks to go for a chokeslam but there’s a shift boot the lower abdomen. Avery drops her down onto her feet. Reyes socks him with an elbow to the jaw. She tries to break free of the chokehold. Avery lifts her up again, going for the chokeslam once more, but Reyes counters with a double knee facebuster!
Jessica Winters: “Again with a beautiful counter by Reyes!”
Adam Allocco: “We’re seeing Reyes’ years of experience and dedication to this sport come to life in this tournament.”
Jessica Winters: “Is this the opening Reyes need to finally get Devin Brando into this match?”
Reyes is on her hands and knees but launches herself into the corner to tag in Devin Brando. Santos runs into the ring to buy Avery time to recover. Brando steamrolls over her with a clothesline. Santos rolls out of the ring. Avery climbs to his feet and turn. Devin Brando steps right up to him. Brando shoves Avery back. Avery comes forward right into a scoop powerslam by Brando. Avery scrambles to his feet. He runs, Brando sidesteps. Avery rebounds, Brando catches him, lifting him up and delivering a spinebuster! Again, Santos slides into the ring, comes at Devin Brando, but Devin greets her with a big boot!
Jessica Winters: “Devin Brando is cleaning house!”
Adam Allocco: “Lyza Reyes made the hot tag, now the bruiser is set loose.”
Jessica Winters: “Reyes breached containment; Brando is making them pay.”
Avery gets up onto one knee and Brando jumps forward with a running knee to his face. Avery’s holds his face, rolling towards his corner. Santos reaches down and makes the tag. She leaps off the top rope, springboard towards Brando for a hurricanrana but Devin Brando sits out with a powerbomb.
Jessica Winters: “Brando lets Avery tag out. Is he targeting Santos?”
Adam Allocco: “Even if Devin Brando is capable of lifting Avery, you get tired quick. Avery’s just south of 280 lbs.”
Jessica Winters: “Good point- Brando pins Santos!”

Jessica Winters: “And Faustina Santos gets the shoulder up just after two.”
Brando deadlifts Santos onto his shoulders, captures her in a torture rack. Santos flails her arms, yelling in pain. Devin Brando walks over to his corner where Lyza Reyes makes the blind tag. Brando throws Santos in front of him, wraps his arms around the waist. German suplex. He bridges, Lyza slides in with the dropkick to her face. Avery enters the ring. He swing, Avery steps behind, hooks both arms for a full nelson. He lifts, Lyza catches Avery with a jawbreaker. Both Avery and Santos are out on the canvas!
Jessica Winters: “Shotgun Suplex on Santos. Chirocrisis on Avery!”
Adam Allocco: “The team of Reyes and Brando have cleared house.”
Brando returns to his corner only to be tagged back in. They both point towards Avery who is the first to stir. Brando hoists him up while Reyes throws herself up onto the top rope. She takes flight with the Pura Vida, crashing down onto Avery, driving him into the Ya Omote! Avery hits the canvas, rolls out of the ring.
Jessica Winters: “Pura Violencia!”
Adam Allocco: “They effectively removed the big man from the equation!”
Jessica Winters: “Faustina Santos is in trouble! She’s all alone!”
Santos runs at Brando, but Brando catches her with the Midnight Murder Scene! He pops right back up, tagging in Reyes. Reyes immediately get over to Santos, End the Fed!
Jessica Winters: “Murder, They Wrote!”
Adam Allocco: “Santos is in the middle of the ring. Nowhere to escape!”
Jessica Winters: “She immediately taps out!”
Phillips: “The winner of the match, by submission, the team of Lyza Reyes and Devin Brando!”
“Clockwork” by Hyper plays of the PA system. Reyes and Brando celebrates their victory in the ring. Avery and Santos are down, still recovering from the biltzkerig that removed them from the match. The Pina Coladas emerge at the top of the ramp. They are applauding Reyes and Brando.
Jessica Winters: “In three weeks time, Reyes and Brando will meet the Pina Coladas. The Pina Coladas are out here right now to give them some respect.”
Adam Allocco: “I don’t think Devin Brando wants their praise.”
Devin Brando stops and points at both members of the Pina Coladas, signaling that they are next. HUNG bursts into laughter, slapping his knee as if he considered that a joke. Delilah pulls HUNG back behind the curtains where Reyes speaks into Brando’s ears.
Jessica Winters: “Brando and HUNG might each being trying their hands with the mind games but Reyes and Delilah shut their respective partners down.”
Adam Allocco: “They might not want to add any fuel to the fire.”
Jessica Winters: “The undefeated Pina Coladas will meet the second ranked team, Reyes and Brando, in three weeks at Taking Hold of the Flame to determine the first winner of the World’s Best tournament.”
