- The Chris Cannon contract negotiations are still under a shroud of secrecy. Chris Cannon has been quiet as of this writing, and the usually vocal Sienna Swann hasn’t said much either. Sources in the SCW Front Office have made it clear that Chris and the SCW Talent Relations department had a tense conversation over the phone Friday morning, giving no other details. Regardless of his contractual situation, Cannon is expected to be with his wife Sienna Swann on Breakdown.
- Asher Hayes may have made himself a new friend. SCW is hearing reports that the fan who struck CHBK during the melee between Hayes and Infamous on this past Breakdown has been released on bail with Hayes paying it. When Asher went to meet the man, the man had already left. SCW would like to remind its fans that violent interactions with SCW wrestlers is never acceptable.
- Could Matt Hodges’s return be cut short? Matt Hodges was not at Breakdown as he was getting evaluated by his personal doctor. Rumour has it that his recent long matches and his opponents’ continued focus on his knee during those matches have aggravated old injuries. Matt Hodges is expected to be in Oklahoma for Breakdown and we could have an update then.
