Hello all,

So first an update - Taking Hold of the Flame WILL be up this afternoon. I've confirmed my decision-making. I'm going to finish that and then post cards for BOTH the June 13 (Special Friday Night Breakdown due to later show posting in St. Louis, MO) and June 19 (regularly schedule Breakdown in Rochester, NY).

One thing I want to stress more so I don't forget - Taking Hold of the Flame was an amazingly well roleplayed show. For some people, I say this will full sincerity - you've posted some of the best work you've done in years and for a couple of people, I would dare say their best work ever. The battle royal was incredibly difficult to judge. As per usual, I have only reflected the results to a degree - the final six are I feel indicative of the final six roleplay wise. Top ten are likely fairly in that, although I did have a few earlier exits more for story or for other purposes (to hint at something later, to add another layer to something ,etc. It's incredibly difficult to have 28 or so people make it all to the end and then have eliminations!). Please do not necessarily read into your exit and when it is in the match as anything more than me trying to give as many people who roleplayed something to run with in some way.

There are some secret entrants. As per tradition, I do encourage them to share their work in the THOTF thread after the show is posted.

Finally, for those new to this season, this is where things usually go into overdrive in terms of the level to which I storyboard and develop angles. This year, however, I feel the storytelling on the shows and in reaction to all of you has been arguably the best year for SCW since I'd maybe say 2010. I really like the angles, the development, and all that. Normally, I'd write everything solo during this period. This year, I'll likely be asking for help. That said, you're all welcome to sit back and enjoy the ride. If you do want to pitch segments, please don't hesitate to do so. That said, I do hope to build something for everyone to have something meaningful at RTG.

Tag Team Name: Glimmer Sisters

Members: Gia & Gina Glimmer

Alignment: Heel but with MASSIVE fan appeal (for fairly obvious reasons)

Gimmick: Twins who are “adult circus” performers in addition to transitioning into wrestling. They know what they've got and are not afraid to use their bodies, their charms and their identical appearances to get to the top together by any means necessary.

Entrance Music: “Tongue Twister” - Cash Cash

Entrance Description:
All the lights in the arena suddenly cut out, leaving the fans gasping and roaring in surprise. After a moment, blue lighting overtakes the arena, almost making it look like the entire place is underwater. On the stage, we can see what looks like water raining down right in front of the entryway, a silhouette of a woman visible behind it as she's flipping her hair and looks to be getting “dressed” for battle. “Tongue Twister” then hits and after a few seconds, we see Gina Glimmer (we assume) walk through the water, motioning as though she were parting a curtain, sashaying in a way that draws all eyes to her hips as she grins knowing full well what she's doing. Once she's fully visible she flaps her arms at her sides almost like she's flying, and as she does we see a second pair of arms flapping in the opposite motion appear from behind her, almost making her look like one of those multi-armed Hindu gods. After a few flaps she leans to one side as we see her twin Gia Glimmer (again, we assume) suddenly appear from behind her and lean the opposite way, perfectly mirroring one another. They join hands and look as though they're about to break into a ballroom dance, but Gina simply uses this to flip Gia over her back, and the moment she lands on her feet in time with the bass dropping the lighting immediately changes to a vibrant display of pinks and yellows. At this, the two begin to dance their way down to the ring, again a perfect mirror of one another as their sensual motions hypnotize the audience. The mirror routine breaks at a few points when they stop dancing to briefly interact with fans, Gina scoffing at some guy not worth her time in the front row desperately trying to get her number while Gia teases potentially flashing her side of the crowd only to stick her tongue out and tell them to “blame SCW” for the let down. Once they reach ringside they dance their way over to the hard cam side of the ring before pulling themselves onto the apron facing away from each other, where they press their butts together and slowly rise as they stick their tongues out and suggestively lick each finger, drawing excited cheers from all interested parties that clash with the boos they're otherwise getting from those that either aren't interested in them or see through the act. Once they're both fully upright, they mirror one another again as they lean back against the ropes, pushing out their chests for the fans' enjoyment before hooking their arms around the top rope and backflipping into the ring in sync. Once they're back in the ring the lighting returns to the underwater hues as they dance around the ring one more time, mirroring one another again, before meeting in the middle of the ring as a spotlight shines down on them. They sensually embrace, each lifting a leg up in a way that makes it seem like they're trying to wrap it around the other's body as they flip their hair before motioning for the camera to get a close-up of them as they grin and wink to the fans at home. The lights then completely cut out again for a brief moment before coming back on as normal, the Glimmer Sisters separating and moving to their corner as they wait for the bell with a hungry look in their eyes.

Finishers:
Mirror Routine (With an opponent standing between them, Gia & Gina will deliver stereo superkicks, one to the face and the other to the back of the head, in perfect sync with one another, smashing the opponent's skull between their boots.)

Asspocalypse (With an opponent kneeling in the center of the ring, Gia & Gina size them up from opposite corners, shaking their asses in anticipation. They then charge forward, twisting at the last second for maximum momentum as they slam their ample asses against one another, crushing the opponent's head between them.)

Signature Tactics:
Twin Magic (Because Gia & Gina are identical twins and the differences between their appearances are extremely subtle, it's almost impossible to tell them apart and they will use this to their advantage as they please. Whenever the referee and their opponents aren't paying attention, a downed Glimmer Sister will roll out or be pulled out of the ring by the other, who will then roll in and pretend to be the legal woman, opening the door for an opponent to be surprised either by an inside cradle pin or a “suddenly rejuvenated” Glimmer Sister to catch them off-guard with something and steal the win. This is a tactic they'll use in either tag or singles matches to steal the win by any means necessary. A more subtle version of this can also be used solely in tag matches, where they take advantage of the referee's back being turned to switch between who's “legal” and who's waiting on the apron, the referee never being able to tell them apart at first glance so he'd never suspect foul play.)

As a means of trying to humiliate an opponent (though they claim they're just giving everyone “what they know they all dream of”), if there's a slow point in the match and Gia & Gina have a clear 2-on-1 advantage, one of them will force an opponent onto their knees and hold their head while the other will slowly pull down her tights enough to expose her skimpy thong and otherwise bare ass, striking the classic Coppertone Girl pose as her sister proceeds to force the opponent to literally “kiss her ass,” the Glimmer Sisters just laughing at their antics and delighting in them.

Signature Moves:
T&A (With an opponent in the corner, either trying to recover or after being irish whipped into it, one of the Glimmer Sisters will charge in and deliver a stinger splash to them, driving her ample chest into the opponent's face in the process. With the opponent dazed from this, that woman will then get on all fours in front of them so the other Glimmer Sister can use her as a platform for the extra height needed to twist so she can drive her ample ass into the opponent's face, potentially crushing their head against the turnbuckle in the process.)

Tightrope Act (With an opponent down, both Glimmer Sisters will climb to the top rope facing away from the ring. They'll join hands before the legal sister leaps up into a perfect handstand, supported only by the illegal sister holding her up with just her hands while standing tall on the top turnbuckle. They'll hold this for a few moments, with the legal sister even including a bit of ass shaking into her handstand to try and further enrapture the fans as well as prove their perfect balance, before the illegal sister throws her arms back and lets go, giving the legal sister an extra push on top of the extra height she's got from her position to land a beautiful and devastating double rotation moonsault. In the event the moonsault misses, which is possible given how much time they waste with the setup, the illegal sister will still be perched up top and will immediately respond with some other aerial offense to try and maintain the advantage by any means necessary.)

Biography:
Not much is known about Gia & Gina Glimmer, mostly because whoever they used to be has been lost to time because of how much work they put in to completely reinvent themselves, down to legally changing their names and changing up their looks so that nobody from their past lives would be able to recognize them. The first appearance of the women these twin sisters became was as a brand new act for an adult circus called the Cirque du Sins, run by a ringmaster who called himself Lucian Lurid that featured acts that blended traditional circus showmanship with nudity and more “sexy and raunchy” takes on classic circus acts. The Glimmer Sisters, in particular, became fast rising stars of the circus, due to being able to do just about any act asked of them and embracing the more “adult” nature this circus presented to a degree that surpassed even their fellow performers, earning them quite a large cult following. Issues did arise, however, when Gia & Gina realized that Lucian was shorting them quite noticeably on some of their paychecks after a while, proving that being a greedy and sleazy scumbag wasn't just a circus act for him as he tried to throw every bit of legal jargon he could at the twins to convince them that, per their contracts with him, he had a right to take larger cuts as needed. Gia & Gina responded to this by seeking side hustles to make up the money they were being screwed out of, turning to things such as OnlyFans and even briefly dabbling in amateur pornography for a time before Lucian begged them to stop. He succeeded, but only because he gave them a sob story that, surprisingly, actually proved to be true once undeniable evidence was presented to them. Gia & Gina, who had grown to love flaunting their stuff for the Cirque du Sins even if they still didn't fully trust Lucian, agreed to help, and Lucian gave them a platform they weren't expecting to do just that: wrestling. Apparently, he'd used some rather dubious tactics to forge some powerful connections in the business through notable people he'd caught attending their shows, and he was certain Gia & Gina had what it took to take the business by storm and not only get to flaunt what they've got in an entirely different arena, but also make him a lot of money to get himself out of his jam. Gia & Gina agreed, so long as they got to keep a good cut of their wrestling earnings to make up for what Lucian stole from them, and because the women they had styled themselves into now truly believed that they had all the tools they needed to conquer the wrestling business with minimal effort on the actual wrestling front. How they ended up with SCW contracts is truly a mystery, but regardless, the Glimmer Sisters are here and they're ready to put on a show, so long as SCW is ready for the hottest act they've ever had gracing their TV programming each and every week.

Things are coming together. My hope is to have everything ready to post for Friday evening. A card will then follow and we'll be on the road to Rise to Greatness.

Ethan's style of wrestling is full of strikes and submissions, while he might appear to be "playful"-Ethan's in ring work is the complete opposite and is perhaps one of the most vicious strikers currently on the indy scene as he can hit kicks and strikes with an incredible speed and impact, with one of his kicks being quick and strong enough to knock the wind out of his opponent.

In the ring, he is a fast and agile bastard, not really caring for the well being of his opponent as he is known for being incredibly vicious in the ring, moving almost like a surgeon in the ring with his strikes and holds as he prefers not to let a single move be wasted. Even though he is a high-flyer, when he uses submission holds he falls back upon his martial arts training and applies pressure point locks without any form of hesitation or regret, because to him-he just doesn't care in the ring.

Strengths:
1. Unorthodox Bastard: There is nothing normal about Ethan, from his mannerisms to how he operates outside of the ring, he is very cock and egotistical as well as being eccentric, rebellious, and of times perverted, often disrespecting or just outright mocking his opponents in a very vulgar fashion unless said opponents have earned-he's like Alucard from "Hellsing Abridged" became a pro-wrestler...but due to this unorthodox manner he is a very capable and vicious opponent in the ring, among other things.

2. "I'm never truly alone": Ethan never travels solo, because whenever you see him, the "Enforcer" Kyle Gibson (the older brother of the Phantom Troop's Eric Gibson) is usually lurking in the shadows near-by and the 6'2/240 pound "Insurance Program from Hell", quickly shows why he's simply the best.

3. No Fear: Ethan doesn't fear anything or anyone...nor does he give two shits either as fear simply gets in the way of what the "Huntsman" wants to accomplish and as such, it has no place in his world view. He's very much like Giovanni Aries in that aspect.

Weaknesses:
1. Vicious Bastard: Ethan is a very vicious wrestler with every single move and hold applied without any form of wasted move or action...if he is made to deviate from this, Ethan will become much more physically violent...all with a wide grin on his face because this is a sadist who enjoys his work all too much.

2. Light Heavyweight: Although seen as a weakness, Ethan has actively chosen to stay in the light heavyweight range (215 pounds) and works hard to keep it that way.

Biography:
Born in Kōloa, an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Hawaii, Ethan was a physical prodigy as his grandfather was one of the few surviving masters of the ancient Hawaiian martial art of Kapu Kuʻialua which was based around bone breaking, joint locks, throws, pressure point manipulation, strikes and various other things that was only practiced by the king's honor guards after the "Koa" helped Kamehameha the Great to unify the islands in 1810. The style came naturally to Ethan as did his education as he graduated with honors from the Governor Wallace R. Farrington High School. Having grown up watching old tapes of Polynesian pro wrestling from the eighties and been inspired by them, Ethan soon looked up a local wrestling school and joined the first class of Vergil Urahara's "Apocalypse Academy" and found himself in a unique place on the ground floor as the first class was being jointly trained by Devon Slayton and Jacob Striker.

Trained alongside Kyle Valentine, Marcus Owens, David Striker, and a few others that would become represented by the Tiger's Den which helped him to start working for the Extreme Wrestling Incorporated and started working touring dates all over Japan and somewhere along the way, Ethan formed the "Rogue Army" faction in EWI which turned out to be very effective with it's dark nature and sinister overtones...in short Ethan's mad ways made him successful.

However Ethan's influence hasn't just stayed solely in Japan as Ethan has been revealed as the "Little Devil" on the right shoulder of David Striker, who seems to be working his "corrupting" influence on his old friend and former training partner among other things.
