SCW Television Championship
Tommy Valentine vs. Derek Adonis

Tommy Valentine has had a bit of a mean streak and in his last match, he defeated one half of the Tag Team Champions. Apparently, that got someone’s attention (Sasha) who gave Tommy a shot at Derek Adonis and the SCW TV Champion. Can the KABLAMing champion keep his reign going?

Jordan Majors vs. Max Kane vs. Konrad Raab

Jordan Majors was impressive at the End of the Year Special. On Breakdown, she faces a couple of interesting opponents in Max Kane, the thorn in the side of the Network, and Konrad Raab, who has put forward his efforts to stand against Katya’s corruption. Could this be Katya’s way of getting rid of two problems?

SCW Adrenaline Championship
Regan Street vs. Ravyn Taylor

The match contracted by Mr. D himself. Regan Street will challenge Ravyn Taylor for the SCW Adrenaline Championship. Both Regan and Ravyn are confident wrestlers, but a lot of questions loom in the background. Is this a make good match for Regan after a second half of 2018 that has left her frustrated after one of the biggest wins of her career? Is this transparent sabotage of Dark Fantasy? Or will something else take place when Regan and Ravyn clash on the first Breakdown of 2019?

Alexis Quinne & Datura vs. Ace Marshall & Cassidy Carter
Ace Marshall and Cassidy Carter are hardly friendly forces to Katya and given their attitude, hardly to win many friends. That said, Datura is focused on Regan Street, as she also tries to work with Alexis Quinne in this tag team founded on respect starts to make waves. Rumour has it that Katya herself made this match to truly test the actual number one contender to the SCW World Title, Cassidy Carter, and Ace Marshall has a history with Regan Street.

Marie Jones & Kimberly Williams vs. The Brotherhood of the Sith (Dustin Adams & Andrew Raynes)
A match we can confirm was booked by Katya. Marie Jones will rebound from facing Sienna Swann and failing to obtain the World Championship by teaming with her twin sister against a former rival who may not be happy that he’s not teaming with Bree Lancaster. Given Andrew Raynes comments toward SCW management and more, there’s plenty underlying this standard tag match.

Chris Cannon vs. Kennedy Street vs. Owen Cruze
Three allies and they’re facing each other. Katya herself booked this match as well as she looks to put her stamp on things. We doubt this is only for competition and we expect something far more nefarious underlying this one.

Alistaire Allocco vs. Donovan Kayl
Alistaire Allocco wants to compete fairly. He’ll go up against one of the most experienced grapplers on SCW’s roster, but also someone who has placed themselves against Dark Fantasy. Glory Braddock we’re sure will be watching this one as Kayl and Allocco clash on the first Breakdown of 2019.

Abigail Lindsay vs. The Superhero
Abigail Lindsay tried to get Ravyn Taylor’s attention by paying our friendly neighbourhood Superhero to interfere in her affairs. Now, revenge seems to be on the docket as Abigail will need to face the Superhero. But why would they compete against each other? Will a stipulation of some sort be added to this match?

Gigi Steward & Maddy Steward vs. Kandis & Scarlet Grey
Stemming from the End of the Year Special, Kandis makes her SCW roster debut by teaming with Scarlet Grey to face Team Desire 2.0. Booked by Sasha D, it will be interesting how Scarlet Grey reacts to teaming with someone besides Ruby Amarant in this contest. Meanwhile, Gigi and Maddy have plenty of reasons to want revenge.

SCW Television Championship

Tommy Valentine has had a bit of a mean streak and in his last match, he defeated one half of the Tag Team Champions. Apparently, that got someone’s attention (Sasha) who gave Tommy a shot at Derek Adonis and the SCW TV Champion. Can the KABLAMing champion keep his reign going?

Singles: 2 RP Limit; 2 RP Limit for Tag Team Matches
Deadline: Noon ET Tuesday, January 8, 2019

January 15, 2019**
Giovanni Aries vs. Damian Angel
In a match that has as much to do with eliminating rivals as anything else, Katya has booked this match two weeks out. Giovanni Aries and Damian Angel have both made clear their issues with SCW’s management or SCW as a whole and Katya by proxy. They’ll clash on Breakdown. Undoubtedly, some interesting individuals, such as Casterillo, may be watching.

Aaron Blackbourne vs. Bree Lancaster
Bree Lancaster will be defending her US Title against Selena Frost. But she’ll face Aaron Blackbourne, one of the future stars of SCW, by the looks of it, on Breakdown. In a match booked by Sasha, it will be interesting to see how this match goes for both stars of Supreme Championship Wrestling.

Sam Raine vs. Angelica Jones
Sam Raine and Crissy Gardner have some tag team aspirations and Angelica Jones holds the Tag Titles. It’s not hard to see what this match could be about.

Autumn Valentine vs. Katie Steward
Autumn Valentine has links to Dark Fantasy. Katie Steward obviously has links to Team Desire 2.0 and decisions made by both sides make them enemies. Tonight, they face in singles action.

Jake Starr vs. Bianca Evans
Bianca Evans has not been seen since she lost to Katie Steward. On Breakdown, she returns to face the Only Social Misfit Remaining. Bianca will be riled up and Jake Starr needs to get back to his winning ways as Tommy Valentine has taken the lead in his team. What will this mean come Breakdown?

Kellen Jeffries vs. Dante McCaffery
The Man God comes to SCW. But in a match, we believe booked by Sasha, he will face Dante McCaffery who right now is trying to work with Dark Fantasy and with the Beauty Factory and has a history with Kennedy Street. Could this be to help Kellen Jeffries make good with Kennedy Street, someone whom at one point he was engaged to?

SCW Television Championship
Dawn Lohan Vs. Derek Adonis/Tommy Valentine

Dawn Lohan will be next in line for a TV Title shot and we believe Sasha is the one who booked this opportunity, seeking to give Dawn an opportunity to get her feet under her in singles competition while her half-sister Abigail looks to get Ravyn Taylor’s attention. But who will she face? Her former friend (maybe more) in Tommy or the master of the KABLAMa Sutra?

“The Hellbilly” John Goddard vs. Peyton Rice
Katya ensured this match was filed and signed. Peyton Rice debuts on the SCW roster in a match that could put her young career in jeopardy against the debuting Hellbilly, John Goddard.

*Goddard is neither face nor is he heel, I like to think of him his own entity where he treats everyone equally in the sense that he will fight anyone. He stands for his own beliefs, he is a law unto himself and is incredibly loyal to those he brings into his inner circle which is incredibly rare for him to do.

Years Pro: 30
Theme Song: “Gods Gonna Cut You Down” by Johnny Cash

Finishers with Descriptions:
:: A Cross to Bear – With his opponent dazed Goddard will lift his them onto his shoulder with an inverted Fireman’s Carry, after positioning himself in the center of the ring, he will push the legs up and drive his opponents head into the canvas with the Burning Hammer. He is no stranger to completing an Avalanche version of this.

Strengths:
:: Living the way he has over the years has given him a mental strength unlike anyone else. When you think he is down and out he somehow surprises you and keeps going.

:: A veteran of the sport, he knows every trick in the book. Some say he wrote the book or many of its chapters.

:: At 50 years of age he is deceptively agile.

Weaknesses:
:: When his hubris is challenged and he reacts in chaotic ways which cost him gravely during matches.

:: Much like one of his strengths being his mental strength, his body is ageing and because of his pride he would rather die than concede defeat.

Entrance:

The arena is plunged into total darkness causing the crowd to buzz, the questions are answered when the tron above the stage illuminates while the sound of wind blowing over the P.A System. The picture on the screen is that of the desert sand, but it’s not long before we hear the rattling sound of a curled-up snake... The footage starts to pan upwards to reveal more of the desert, but the focus is on the snake slithering towards the screen, the Rattlesnake moves closer and closer and then wastes no time at all before striking at the screen...

Then as if on cue Johnny Cash’s “God’s Gonna Cut you Down” hits over the P. A System, while the music begins to build upwards with the guitar strumming away a smoke like fog begins to haze its way onto the stage as the lights shift in colour to a fiery amber… With it a shadowy figure begins to casually walk out among the Smokey haze to reveal Goddard himself dressed in his leather trench coat, Stetson hat and bandanna over his face...

Dishevelled voice: “Ladies and Gentlemen, Ya’ll heard the whispers, ya’ll listened to the tales but allow us to inform ya that “The Legend is Very Real...” Hailing from the wastelands of Texas, better known as Tombstone… he weighs in tonight at one-hundred and ninety-seven pounds...  He is “THE HELLBILLY” … JOHN GODDARD!!”

The crowd’s reaction is incredibly mixed as he stands on the stage looking out from under his hat, he then removes the bandanna and cracks a smile before nodding and walking down to the ring with a confidence of one like himself. Fans reach out to touch him, but he pays them no mind if the manage to do just that.  After rolling into the ring he rises to one knee and looks out to the crowd again before pulling himself up using the ropes before walking over to a corner and removing his jacket before standing on the second corner and nodding one more time.

Biography:

John Goddard is a 30-year veteran, while his history and personal life is murky at best due to becoming a man who lived off the grid. Over the years John spent a lot of time on the road competing across the United States in small dives and bingo halls. Throughout this he built up the reputation as being a brutal fighter, one that had very little care for those who stood across from him in the ring. Then one day, he disappeared.

Some say he died, others say he just grew bored and there are those who claim he didn’t exist at all and was all just a figment of the world’s imagination.

None of which were true and now in 2018/2019 the Hellbilly has risen once again. By doing so he claims to have heard the screams from the SCW, they called to him what did they want, why now?

Supreme Championship Wrestling and the World shall find out...

Like every year, we all put in what our goals and targets are, but thought to add plans in this year as I realised some of you may not have targets or goals to achieve, but got plans for what you want to do in 2019. Let's hear what goals and/or plans and/or targets are for this year.

The show will likely not be up tonight and I'm going to aim for tomorrow. That will depend on how much writing time I can get tomorrow as I'll be at my fiance's family for part of the day. I had hoped to have it on time, but my work outside of the fed took more time than I had wanted (had to finish an article for a project today). Cards will be up shortly after too.

  Sourial Slytherin

Character Details

Name: Stanley Parker
Alias: Sourial Slytherin
Height: 6’1
Weight: 179lbs
DOB: June 26th, 1993
Town of Birth: Leeds, Yorkshire, England
Billed From: Upper Flagley, Yorkshire, England
Picture Base: Ezra Miller
Body Type: slim and toned
Alignment: heel
Entrance Music: “The Howling” by Within Temptation

Wrestler Entrance:
The Lights to the arena cut completely and an eerie silence fills the room before candles light as if by magic down either side of the ramp, starting from the top all the way to the ring and “The Howling” by Within Temptation begins to play. A robed Sourial Slytherin steps out onto the stage and walks to the top of the ramp, throwing his arms out as smoke puffs from either side of the stage before he throws back the hood of his robe and begins to walk down the ramp.

Announcer: “From Upper Flagley in Yorkshire, he weighed in earlier at one hundred seventy nine pounds… Sourial Slytherin!”

Reaching the bottom of the ramp, he rolls into the ring and immediately walks straight to the corner of the ring, removing his robe and tossing it to the outside before dropping down into a seated position with his arms draped across the bottom rope. No fanfare or jawing at the fans, just waiting for the start of the match, a cold hard stare on his face as he does so.

Gimmick/Personality:
Important note here - this guy is both a throwback to old school gimmick wrestlers of the eighties and also a nod to current Indy wrestlers that can have a little more fun than modern television wrestling allows. Slytherin has wrestled for a few years on the Indy scene in the U.K. using what is basically a Harry Potter gimmick and 100% sells this gimmick on screen. It doesn’t matter what people say to him on shows and in promos, he will never admit that he is anything but a wizard that is the Heir of Salazar Slytherin himself. Away from the cameras and public though, is a different matter. He isn’t crazy, he doesn’t believe he’s a wizard whatsoever, he simply  built a following based on a gimmick portrayed at shows that he knew would be popular and draw fans in because of the subject matter. In reality, he’s just a regular Indy wrestler looking for a big break who found a niche and made it work. He will 100% not break character on shows.

In character Biography:
Schooled at the famous Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry, Sourial Slytherin is a pureblood wizard and the last scion of the Slytherin name, a distant grandson of the legendary Salazar Slytherin. Tired of the limitations of the International Statute of Secrecy, Sourial has rallied against the Ministry of Magic and has broken wizarding law by openly discussing the wizarding world in front of Muggles. Determined to lead the wizarding world out of hiding in order to reclaim their birthright as superior beings to muggles. Magic is might. And those who stand against him? Enemies of the heir beware!

Out Of Character Biography:
Stanley Parker, Stan to his friends and family, is a British wrestler from Leeds in the North of England. He started wrestling at nineteen and has built something of a cult following thanks to his use of an extremely popular fandom for his gimmick. He managed to make wrestling his full time job in early two thousand sixteen and has worked up and down the country since.
