At SCW's "Rise to Greatness" event this past weekend, there was no short of noticeable faces in the crowds-but one bunch in particular wasn't missed by anyone as SCW camera crews backstage managed to catch a shot of a large group of people being escorted in and out of both the Toyota Center and the NRG Stadium this past weekend, one face stood out amongst the crowd:



As seen here, Reno Dumont-the "Caporeigme" of the Rogue Horsemen stable being escorted everywhere by SCW security was on hand for the entire pay per view. One has to wonder if he was there for his son Chris' match against Veil or some other reason.

Hello all,

With the RTG deadline passing, we take our short yearly hiatus. Take this time to recharge, focus on taking a break from SCW, or if so inclined, coming up with new stories.

Our planned return show back will be Breakdown on August 21. Rise to Greatness would then be posted by August 14th. I do this every year - basically, we all take some time away, get refreshed, and the RTG weekend results spark our return.

Thanks for all of the work, both in the roleplaying up to the show, and for the show itself. Take some time away from SCW for a few weeks. We'll still be around in the Discord. And I look forward to writing the best show I can, while also kicking off the next season (Season 23!)

This pains me to no end, but I know it's necessary.

With Rise to Greatness on the horizon, I hate doing this but I have to step away. I can no longer ignore what is going on in my life or with my mental health. I am battling with depression, separation from my family (though I do have joint custody of my boys), and the intrusive thoughts that pop in my head more often than not. I try to hide behind humor, but I can't even do that right now. I stepped away from the Discord server because the negative way of thinking began to plague the things I'd say in the chats and I know it was rubbing others the wrong way. It was never my intention, but it was also a sign of a much bigger problem than I cared to admit.

I have some sort of relationship with the majority of you, and we've been through a lot in terms of conversations, be it good, bad, or in between. This was a fun game to me for a time, but then it became a necessity instead of being about creativity. I haven't really put myself first. Not really ever in my life. It's always been about other people. I know I have to be there for myself, otherwise, things are going to get so grim that there may not be any turning back. I hope to return to all one day, because this is a hell of a fed, the best I've ever been a part of. I could go on and on, but let me just end with this. I love you all. I wish this place the best of luck. I hope Olek can take it easy for a bit before producing a Rise to Greatness to knock your socks off.

As we now have completed roleplaying for the go-home show for Rise to Greatness, I figured I'd let you know what to expect.

Firstly, the Rise to Greatness card is mostly up in full. I will reveal one more change, based on what happens on Breakdown, more so people can roleplay and not worry about that. Breakdown will be up on Sunday. Then we're in the final push with the RTG deadline on SATURDAY, July 26, 2025.

For those who have not been here at this point, after RTG deadline, we take a short hiatus, more as a way to go hard for our Wrestlemania/Starrcade/All In, and then take a much needed break. It allows me to also put more into the show and hopefully make them stand out as our biggest shows of the year. I then post the RTG shows as our way to come back into the new season. This year, i hope to finish the show and be able to do a live posting so we can come together in the Discord and hopefully have some fun with it. We used to do this in the past and it's something I want to revive for all of our major shows to help add more to our community.

As already announced on Breakdown last week, we aim to return for August 21, 2025 with that being the first Breakdown back. I already will be making a few minor changes that will hopefully allow me to both book more purposefully, but also get shows up more on time. I'll explain what this is closer to that return date (along with providing an events schedule heading into Rise to Greatness XXIII next year).
