The 2020 World's Best: Tag Team Tournament Information/Sign Ups

UPDATE: Extending the deadline of submissions until midnight tonight. I know there a few teams still contemplating entering.

We're running six teams. Can everyone finalized and finish their entries sometime today? Once that's done, I can create the schedule for the first three phrases. There will be single pool, five rounds. Top two scoring teams will meet in the finals at Taking Hold of the Flame PPV to lay claim to the prize.

Me and Ash agreed to team up. He told me he's going to work on team moves and finishers last we spoke.

Tag Team Name: Honourable Win

Members: Konrad Raab and Gable Winchester

Home Promotion: SCW (Though Gable is technically on leave)

Gimmick: The Orthodox and versatile style of Konrad Raab mixed with the more unorthodox and flamboyant style of Gable Winchester blended together

Entrance Music: “Death Before Dishonour” by Five Finger Death Punch

Entrance Description:

Both Gable and Konrad come out at the top of the stage from either side as “Death Before Dishonour” blasts out around the arena. They both meet at the middle of the stage and fist bump before nodding to one another and walking down to the ring, slapping palms of the crowds as they go down before Gable slides into the ring and Konrad circles around, slapping more palms before climbing up the steps and into the ring. Both pose on opposite turnbuckles before standing together in the ring, talking amongst each other as they wait for the match to start.

Primary Tag Team Finishers:

1: Frozen Fame – Konrad hits the ‘Ice Storm’ cutter as Gable climbs to the top rope and then counts down before hitting the ‘FameChanger’ elbow on the prone opponent

2: Win-ter Is Here - Gable tosses the opponent up in the air from a gorilla press position and Konrad catches them mid-air before driving them down for a powerslam. (ala The Viking Experience)

Signature Tag Team Moves:

1: Snowblind – Konrad lifts the opponent on his shoulders and Gable takes to the top rope before leaping off with a flying clothesline as Konrad goes backwards for the electric chair drop simultaneously.

2: Winning Combination – Konrad hits a double knee Codebreaker and on the rebound, Gable hits a German Suplex. (Can be used as a pinning combination or a release suplex)

Short Biography:

Unused to taking part in tag team competition outside of sanctioned matches with partners allocated, Konrad Raab wanted to change that. The 2020 World’s Best Tag Tournament was something he wanted a part of bad as his opportunity to show just how versatile he was. Konrad made the wrestling world aware of his desire to compete in the tournament and SCW’s prodigal son, The Man Of Win answered the call just when Konrad had given up hope of finding the right partner...

The lights go out with a flip of the switch as the opening to Escape by Rupert Holmes hits over the P.A System, all eyes then divert to the stage as a pink and yellow hue begins to emanate from the lights. The large Screen explodes into life with the words…
 

::The Following is a HUNG Production::

 
Then there is an explosion of liquid hitting the screen and washes away to reveal video of HUNG & Delilah strutting towards the screen along a beach. We then see various shots of them having fun, doing various activities. Surfing, jet skiing. Volleyball etc… The sun shines brightly, Hung is dressed in a multi-colour print shirt while Delilah is wearing a t-shirt tied at the waist and hot pants.
 
Announcer: “Ladies and Gentlemen, hailing from California… They weigh in tonight at a combined weight of Three hundred and five lbs. They bring with them the Rum and the Tumble… They are the PINA COLADAS!!”
 
Two spotlights shine down onto the stage now, one pink and one yellow, standing in a beam each is HUNG who is staring at his camera lens talking and Delilah who waves to the crowd.  The arena lights come up next fully as the fans cheer for the two young talents. The pair walk towards each other and high five before heading down towards the ring, HUNG making sure to take Selfies with the fans and Delilah along the way since he can’t help himself. The pair quickly slide into the ring together and make their way to different corners. HUNG pointing the camera outwards to get a better view of the crowd while Delilah grins and waves. The two then jump down and head to their corner, HUNG laying the camera down and the pair begin to discuss their strategy for the up and coming match…
 
Primary Tag Team Finishers:
 
Bar - Ca - Di Party: HUNG whips his opponent into the ropes, when they come back for the return. He then lifts them into the air and falls back as Delilah catches them with a cutter.
 
 
Signature Tag Team Moves:
 
The Pineapple Express: HUNG & Delilah after they tag the other will quickly hit stereo Superkicks over and over again.
 
Cherry Popper: HUNG after sitting opponent in Corner, will lock them in with a Muscle Buster and as he steps away Delilah climbs the corner and leaps off hitting a double stomp as HUNG drops the opponent down.
 
Rum Runner: With the opponent kneeling on the canvas. After the tag, Both Delilah & HUNG will hit opposite ropes and connect with stiff kicks to the chest and back of their opponents. Usually after that they will pretend to toast a drink together.

UPDATE: All the regular tournament matches have been scheduled. I randomized the seeds to make it fair then placed the teams into a round robin tournament generator. http://www.supremecw.com/forums/showthre...17#pid4017.

For Lyza/Devin and Seduction, could you please finish filling out your entrant forums. I will consider incomplete applications negatively in my judging, giving your opposing teams the benefit of the doubt when it comes to the match relevant material submitted for the tournament.
