The One vs. Christy-Lizbeth
#1
The One debuted officially at Taking Hold of the Flame. She had a solid debut including eliminating Beard. But while she was watching Beard’s victory over Samuel Davis, the Brand seems to have jumped in and offered for The One’s debut a match against Christy-Lizbeth…if that will still be her name come Breakdown.

2 RP Limit for singles

3500 word max per RP

GENESIS: Chapter Three

It's been a couple of weeks since my parents put on the dressy show for their friends, and were invited to go somewhere.  It had been sitting in my mind and something I was dreading for sometime because what I knew about my parents was not something that I was OK with.  I did not approve of them being so "open" with their relationship because it started to create doubt in my own head of if one of them may have not actually been a parent of mine.  What if their mutual affairs had led to me being born and my whole life has basically been one lie after another?  Things like this have just made me less and less thrilled with their activities, but what could I do?  It was all consensual.  They were adults.  Just because I didn't like it didn't mean I could stop it, but I just was wishing it wouldn't be something I saw so clearly.

Inevitably, though, the day came where "a new adventure" was about to happen for me, and an interruption to my distractions from reality would occur...

Dad: Hey kid!

Having been playing games on my computer, I was startled at the voice, and spun around in my chair, headphones flying off.

Me: Oh... Hey Dad...

Dad: So, this weekend we are going to go out to this place just outside of town.  Your mom and I are going to enjoy some cocktails and attend an adults-only event, but they have a kids area where you'll go while we are on our side.

All I could do is roll my eyes.

Me: Do I have to go?  I mean, can't I just stay here?

Dad: Sweetie, if we weren't going to probably be out so late, I would say yes.  But they say they have a lot for you to do, including apparently gaming stations so you can probably game there if you'd like.

Me: I'd really rather just stay home... I don't really want to deal with other kids...

Dad: Ahh c'mon!  You and I both know it'll be fun.  I just need you to throw whatever you want in a backpack, they also have snacks and drinks, too, so really it's just anything you want to take while you're there... Sound good?

Me: No...

Dad: I think you'll have more fun than you think!  I think we all will...

All I could think was "not my definition of fun," but I kept my mouth shut.  I could tell I wasn't getting a say in this whole matter, and truthfully I knew fighting would ultimately lead to another potential outburst from me, this time in front of them.  I wouldn't be able to talk my way out of it.  So as he left, all I could do is pick my headphones up off of the floor, and sigh.  I knew I didn't have to worry about it that night, but effectively, in just hours, it would be something I would have to face off with.

And that reality seemed to come faster than even I had anticipated.

Before I even knew it we were in the family SUV making our way toward this location, and whatever it involved.  About halfway out of town my parents met up with the couple who had invited them, and the two vehicles created a caravan on its way.  A few miles down the highway, the couple in front of us turn onto a heavily forested dirt road, and we soon follow.  As dust is kicked up around us, I begin to look out the windows and the lines of trees make seeing anything nearly impossible.  After about five minutes of driving and bouncing on this dirt road, I see the break lights in front of us stop at, what looks to be, a "welcome center" for when you cross into another state.  A man walks out and begins to talk with the couple in front of us.  He looks back at us, then back to the couple.  He then makes his way back toward us, pushing his chest out to show his authority, and his hulking presence.  It's at this moment, I meet "him..."

The One: Sir, ma'am, you're accompanying them as guests to The Compound.  I presume you understand the rules of discretion and anonymity required upon entry and exit of the premises?

Dad: Yes sir.

The One: I am The One.  I am head of security, and in charge of ensuring all rules are followed by all members and guests.  IDs please?

My parents hand the man their IDs, and are instructed to wait there.  He proceeds into the building briefly, before emerging with paperwork and their IDs.  He hands everything to my dad.

The One: Today is your one free visit on the property.  Should you wish to become members and come back, this is the paperwork you'll need to fill out and return to me.  Do you have any children with you?

Mom: Our daughter, yes...

The One: She will need to exit the vehicle and I will escort her to the children's area of The Compound.  She will be monitored at all times, and should anything happen you will be notified immediately, regardless of your current situation.  We take their safety here as seriously as our members and guests.  When you exit the primary building, drop this electronic chip into the slot outside the door.  It will alert me to retrieve your child and have them meet you here.

Dad: Alright kiddo... Hop on out, and go with the man...

Me: You're sending me with some stranger you've never met before?

Mom: Dear you'll be with their child, too, and they come here all the time...

Me: But...

Dad: No buts... We will see you in a while!

Me: I don't like this what so FUCKING ever...

Both parents jaws drop.

Dad: PARDON ME YOUNG LADY?

Me: You heard me... Now go have your fun...

It was at this point I made sure they knew my disdain for the situation.  I was done holding back, and I also wanted to make sure The One heard me as well.  I wanted everyone to know I was not there to play nice, or even play at all.  It was plain and simple... I didn't want to be there.  As I watch my parents drive into The Compound, I see another child waiting near a multi-rowed golf cart.  I am instructed to go take a seat and I'll be driven to the children's area of the facility.

The ride is long and bumpy.  The terrain is definitely not made for a golf cart to be traversing, more like a 4-runner, but nevertheless it was a quiet ride.  I didn't say a word to the other kid, and she didn't say a word back to me.  I wasn't complaining, but even The One's silence just gave off a very ominous feel to the whole situation.  Upon arriving to the children's facility, the other girl is quick to hop out and just walk toward the door.  I look up toward The One and wait to be told what to do because, quite frankly, the size of The Compound was massive, and I knew if I tried to go anywhere i Wasn't told to, I would be lost forever.  The One pulls his giant self out of the vehicle and takes a couple steps toward the door.  He then looks back at me with a look of disgust in his eyes.

The One: You coming?

Me: I didn't...

I was immediately cut off.

The One: Listen some of us have actual responsibilities here... Just get your ass up and come with me...

I stand up and exit the vehicle and walk up beside him.  We climb the stairs to the door, and he turns back to me as he cracks the door open.

The One: Wait here one second...

He opens the door and lets our a deafening whistle that silences the whole room.

The One: HEY!  ATTENTION!

He reaches back and grabs me and pulls me inside with quite a bit of force.

The One: We have a new kid... New kid doesn't know the rules around here, so as always I expect you to PROPERLY teach her who is in charge, what she is and isn't allowed to do, and all to make my life as easy as possible.  We all here know if I'm happy, you'll be happy.  If I'm not happy, you will have a tough time.  So make sure the new kid understands the rules and minds her business so her parents can continue to make this place happen...

The One turns back to me.

The One: ... And don't even think about leaving this building until I come get you, understand?

At this point all I know how to do is nod.  This has become even more "prison-like" than I originally expected.  I start to take a couple steps into the room and I have all of these eyes on me.  At first, all I can do is look down.  I feel embarrassed.  I wasn't even a name.  I was just "the new kid."  But as I began to look up, I started to realize something.  I started to see faces I recognized.  In fact, I started to see a lot of the more affluent kids from my school staring back at me.  The ones that I, all along, had been assuming were in the midst of talking shit about me and my parents were now in the same "prison."  What did all of this mean?  Why were so many people I knew standing around me?  That's when I feel a tap on my shoulder and I look over, and it's the kid from my school, the one who tried to approach me, the one I ran from in fear.  He was looking me in the eyes with a friendly smile on his face.  And it was his words that he said after that point that made me realize my life was truly about to change...

Kid: I told you that you weren't alone...

-------------------------------

In the parking garage from Cleveland, Ohio, where Taking Hold of the Flame has long-since concluded, a woman stands on the edge of an upper level, overlooking the road.  The camera slowly begins to approach her, and as it gets to be beside her, her eyes gaze straight forward, toward the city, with a look of pride on her face.  As has been the case, she is aware of the existence of the camera, she begins to speak, and knows she is being heard.

Everyone expects excuses.  They expect what everyone else is giving, which is "why I didn't win Taking Hold of the Flame."  I never said I would.  I never insinuated I was ignorant enough to believe it was a guarantee.  I was confident that I could, but let's be real, I COULD do a lot of things in life.  I could jump off of this parking garage and survive.  I COULD jump off, and not survive.  I COULD jump off, and nail the superhero landing, but what I said all along was that my plans, my goal, my DESIRE was to make my career in Supreme Championship Wrestling a marathon, and not a sprint.  That was my message to the crowd.  I wanted everyone to know I existed, and to realize that I was going to be a long time issue for anyone who was forced to cross my path in SCW... And those who weren't as well.

My entry into the battle royal was to serve as a warning.  I wanted the world to know that the future of SCW existed, and the next chapter was about to be written.  I didn't expect it to write itself on day one.  And because of that, I am not surprised that I did not win.  But think about this.  I am a nobody.  I am a nobody with no previous pro wrestling experience, and where did I end up?  I was in the top ten.  I was one of the last TEN people remaining, and how many people cannot say that?  Not the bulk of the SCW roster, or those who decided to make a comeback.  And I will say this... While I believe there is still need for a purging of those who believe they are "deserving" of their time in the spotlight, Adam Allocco, while we may have never crossed paths, you did what was necessary.  You earned your victory.  I won't question your means, like some of the previous chapters of SCW alumni, who walk into this match expecting to be gifted something, I say you did things right, and I wish you well...

But like I said... I have a marathon to run...

While I can address and accept someone else winning, it does not change my focus.  My focus is in front of me and what that focus is doesn't revolve around a title, a pay per view, or any accolade like those viewed as "higher up" may be focusing on.  Instead, my focus is on what the next leg of this marathon is.  Rise to Greatness may be a leg in and of itself, but right now, it is not even ahead of me.  I am not even a name on its card, nor do I expect to be or care about.  Why?  Because that would mean that I have fallen into the trap of making "greatness" all about one night.  And like I said before, to The One, "greatness" is far more.  That's why I was honest from the get-go.  Everyone was going to talk about their reasoning why they "needed" or "wanted" something like a victory at Taking Hold of the Flame.  Everyone wanted to act like it was their only opportunity to break out.  I don't see that as the future of SCW.  SCW may have been that in the past.  SCW may have only rewarded those who came out of one match down the road, but the fact is, that is not today, nor do I see it as the future of the company.  Humanity cannot live in that world.  It cannot live in the ideology that they only get one shot to move up in life.  They have to believe that they can build on what they have accomplished and build on what they have achieved thus far.

Look at me... I've already achieved more than a lot of LEGENDS, in this business...

Katie Steward... CHBK... Ravyn Taylor... Nicole Kinnick... These are legends who couldn't last as long as I did, but in a match that is booked as survival of the fittest, I did outlast each of these SCW legends, and that alone should state the facts of what is to come for this organization... Because The One set out to make a statement that simply put the world on alert.  It wasn't a goal to win.  It was a goal to warn.  And I have done just that.  I have warned the entire locker room, the entire staff, the entire entity that is Supreme Championship Wrestling that The One has walked in as a nobody, and already established themselves as a somebody.

And that was merely step one...

Step two is where I go from here.  Step two is proving that everything I said going into Taking Hold of the Flame wasn't just lip service, to try and stand out from a crowd.  I have to show that I am willing to work to take out any remnants of the entitled SCW past, and help to shape and create a respectable and even more ELITE SCW future.  Step two of this journey takes me to Breakdown, and puts directly in my cross-hairs a woman who is seemingly facing her own, person, identity crisis.  Her name, Christy Lizbeth.

Now I've gone back, and I've seen some historical references to this woman, although using different nomenclature, and from what I have seen, right now, she's effectively being used as a sacrifice, as tribute, as the lamb being sent to slaughter, on behalf of some individuals calling themselves "The Brand."  Now with all of this research I have done, and the seemingly questionable nature of her name as it stands now, who is this woman?  Is she Christy?  Is she Clamidiya?  Anastasia?  "Peach?"  Fantasia Sanderson III?  Does the name matter?  For some, there are alter egos.  There are these personas that people can pull out of themselves, and go to a new level of extreme.  Does she have a "demon" inside her, that one or all of these personas represent?  Or is "The Brand" merely offering her to be the fall girl for their entire group?

So many questions...

But one glaring observation...

"The Brand," individuals who seek to extort money from others to further their agenda, in return offering some kind of "life coaching" to a person.  Extortion.  Entitlement.  Lots of E's that represent this group, who are sending this woman to a fate already sealed in blood.  So Christy, or whatever you are wanting to be called in this occasion, I hope what I give you is eye opening.  I hope that this clears your mind and begins to open your eyes to why this personality conflict you may have is nothing more than something being fed to you by others.  I hope that once the dust settles, you become your own person.  You reach a level of clarity that allows you to separate from those who have obstructed your ability to be yourself.  If not... You'll remain a target.  You'll become someone who continues to be made a victim, and begging those around you to save you.  You can only save yourself at this point.  Because you must accept the reality in which you now live...

That reality is death... Taxes... And The One!
