PERSONAL INFORMATION
-------------------------------------------------
Wrestler's Alias: Dylan Howell
Wrestler's Real Name: Dylan Howell
Pic Base: Heath Slater
Height: 6 ft
Weight: 215 lbs
Birthdate: September 28, 1980
Birth Place: Dublin, Ireland
Current Residence: Malibu Beach, California

WRESTLING INFORMATION
-------------------------------------------------
Wrestling Style: Technical, High Flyer. While not weak by any means, overpowering opponents is not Dylan's game. Also, brawling is not his style either, and Dylan will cheat anyway he can behind the referee's back. In fact, I prefer if the majority of his wins come with a handful of tights, feet on the ropes, ect, you get the idea

Alignment (Face/Tweener/Heel): Face

Years Pro: 8

Finishers:

D.O.A (Dead on Arrival) Dylan lifts his opponent up into a gorilla press and hold them there briefly. Rather than just letting them drop straight down however, he drops them into a diamond cutter.

Guilty Pleasures: This is Multiple German Suplexes. How many depends upon Dylan's mood at the time, it's usually somewhere from 3-5, but can go all the way up to 10. The one thing that is always consistent however is Dylan always bridges for the pin after the final suplex in the series.

Skeletons in the Closet: Just an old fashioned sleeper hold, with Dylan's arm positioned perfectly on the carotid artery.

One Bad Habit: A 630 Splash, Dylan landing with all of his weight directly across the opponent's ribs and chest cavity

Finishers Descriptions (If Needed): See Above

Signature Moves:

Great Expectations: A top rope release hurricanrana, often used to set up Dylans s finisher Guilty Pleasures.

Breaking the Mold: A Bow and Arrow lock that Dylan rarely expects to get a submisson from, but uses to wear his opponent down instead.

Undo Influence: A front russian leg sweep that is normally a counter move used to turn the tide back in Dylan's favor.

Signature Moves Descriptions (If Needed): See Above

Theme Song: "Adrenaline"

Strengths:

*Superior conditioning, which gives him incredible stamina.

*Very instinctive, his experience has led to him being able anticipate what opponent's are going to do before they do it.

*A brilliant in ring technician who is not afraid to take a high risk chance to mix things up either.

*Very intelligent and well prepared. Makes it his business to know any physical weakness an opponent might have, and always has a plan for how to best exploit that to his advantage.

Weaknesses:

*Being a smaller man than many he goes up against, if caught, he can be overpowered.

*Dylan can at times due to his competitive nature put himself in situations that are not favorable to him, like when he faced Rachel Foxx in an Underground Rules match on New Years Eve, 2013.

*Dylan is highly aggressive when it comes to the two people in SCW he is most loyal to, his sister Regan Street, and his wife Jesse. Highly aggressive to the point that he would get himself disqualified from a match trying to hurt someone who had done something to one of them.

Preferred Gimmick Match: Iron Man, Submisson, Ultimate Submission, Battle Royales. Anything where he can use his conditioning and stamina to his advantage.

.

Common Moves:

European Uppercuts
Knife edge chops
Indian Deathlock
Kicks to thighs and knees
Dragon Screw Leg Whip
Octopus Strectch
Rolling Senton Splash
Standing Dropkick
Step up Enziguri
Standing Moonsault
Running Kneelift

Physical Description:

Hair: Brown

Facial Hair: Clean Shaven
Tattoos: None
Scars: None
Piercings: None

Street Attire: Simon whether in the ring or out of it is ALWAYS dressed in bright white. Many say that he has the look of a cult leader now.

WRESTLING INFORMATION
-------------------------------------------------
Wrestling Style: Both Showman and Technician. Loves to take risks, and loves to show up opponents. Simon's favorite specialty match type is a ladder match because he likes to be innovative and creative while taking risks. Possesses good power and a will to win that is second to none.

Alignment (Face/Tweener/Heel): Massive Heel, though this could be changing very, very slowly as “The Savior” gets more followers. (Holds dual citizenship in the US and Canada)

Years Pro: 23 plus.Retired from the ring in 2017 immediately following SCW Rise to Greatness that year, due to health concerns stemming from his 2016 stroke. Unretired in March of 2023.

Ring Attire: Full length bright white pants, knee pads, elbow pads and boots.

Finishers: Leading the Revolution, Down with the Sinners, From the Heavens

Finishers Descriptions (If Needed):

Leading the Revolution: A lethal, lightning quick superkick to the opponents jaw which he can execute at any time with no warning. Think sweet chin music, without tuning up the band.

Down With the Sinners: A destructive finisher in which Simon moves in behind his opponent, and grabs them in an inverted gut wrench. Then all in one powerful motion, he swings them up into a wheelbarrow position before slamming them to the canvas with thunderous sit-out face-buster

From the Heavens: His original finisher, now reserved mostly for high profile matches, Simon picks the opponent up in a fireman's carry and heads to the top rope. From there, he leaps off the top and flips, landing as if performing a senton bomb on the opponent.

Signature Moves: A Change in Attitude, Revelations, Smite

Signature Moves Descriptions (If Needed):

A Change in Attitude: This counter is performed when Simon is irish whipped to the ropes by his opponent. After ducking or sidestepping their attack, he sends them crashing to the canvas with a powerful Anderson style spine buster.

Revelations: With his opponent over one shoulder and Simon seated on the top turnbuckle, Simon cradles their head, then stands and leaps off of the second rope, driving the opponent into the mat with all of his body weight crashing down on top of them while they on the back of their neck and shoulders first. A very dangerous move, called The Island Driver in other places.

Smite: Basically a powerbomb setup into a release overhead belly-to-belly suplex. First getting his opponent in position for what appears to be a powerbomb, Simon allows the opponent to float out and upward so they are almost seated just below his shoulders. Then after pulling the opponent inward so their shoulders touch their knees, Simon locks his hand behind their neck and holds them there briefly before hurling them high over his head, crashing on the canvas back first.

Theme Song: Ghost - Jesus He Knows Me (Official Music Video)

Common Moves:

Punches
Forearms
Clotheslines
Elbow drop to downed opponent
Standing Dropkick
Running knee lift
Headlock Takeover
Rear Naked Choke
Northern Lights Suplex
Samoan Drop
Diving Forearm Smash
Chop blocks to knee
Kicks to the kneecaps
Vertebreaker
Swinging Neckbreaker
Jackhammer Suplex
Cradle Piledriver(Since deemed illegal by SCW)
Fallaway Slam
Inverted Bulldog
Asai Moonsault (to opponent outside of the ring)

Less Frequently Used Moves (Big Matches):

Sunset Flip Powerbomb (From Top Rope)
Full Nelson FaceBuster
Standing Moonsault
Spinning Flatliner
Spike DDT
Package Piledriver
Inverted Sitout Side Powerslam

Strengths: Belief in himself. Simon Lyman truly believes he is the best in-ring performer in pro wrestling history, and works his ass off to back that up with every performance. Simon wants his match to be the best match on the card EVERY time out. That fuels him as much as winning. He also displays the confidence of the 4 time World Champion and 16 time World Tag Team Champion he is.

Determination. Simon always wants to put on a show for the fans, fans he hopes he can convert to followers. He is also exceedingly competitive himself, possessing a great desire to work his way back to the top, and not wanting anything handed to him, unless he thinks that he can get away with it.

Experience. Simon has been a professional wrestler his entire adult life since graduating high school at age 17 in June of 1995. He feels this is what he was born to do, and that he does it better than anyone else.

Weaknesses: Not a great submission wrestler. In fact it's rare that he uses a submission move for anything other than an opportunity to slow down a faster opponent. Simon definitely does not try to win matches this way, and any submissions he does use would be pretty basic ones.

Temper can get the best of him at times in the ring. The loss of temper can lead to Simon being more dangerous, but also more reckless.

Takes chances. Loves to go high risk and though he tries to be smart about the chances he takes, it's called high risk for a reason.

  Donovan Kayl
Posted by: Corner G - 07-30-2018, 09:50 PM - Forum: Inactive - No Replies

**Vital Statistics**

Full Name: Donovan Alexander Kayl

Height: 6'1"

Weight: 225 lbs.

Birthplace: Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Education: Originally a high school dropout, Kayl got his G.E.D. before utilizing distance education to get a Bachelor of Professional Arts degree, with a major in Communication Studies, from Athabasca University.

Entrance Theme: "Tom Sawyer" by Rush

Wrestling Career: Began wrestling while underage, at the age of 16, in 1995, giving him a wrestling career spanning 22 years. He was a member of the now-defunct SWA from 2002 to 2010, and the now-defunct NEWA from 2010 until late-2011.

**Entrance**

"Tom Sawyer” by Rush starts to play as the spotlight focuses on the top of the ramp. Immediately, the crowd rise to their feet in a raucous ovation.

A modern day warrior

Mean, mean stride
Today's Tom Sawyer
Mean, mean pride

Stepping out to the top of the ramp is "The Cornerstone" Donovan Kayl. He steps to the side, facing out to the crowd. As he stands atop the ramp, he throws his arm out with each big note of the beginning musical portion. After turning his head to survey the entire crowd, he turns to face the front of the ramp, beginning to walk out towards the ring.

Though his mind is not for rent

Don't put him down as arrogant
He reserves the quiet defense
Riding out the day's events
The river

Kayl keeps his eyes focused on the ring ahead, and with a stoic gaze in his eyes, slaps the hands of a few fans at ringside.

The world is, the world is

Love and life are deep
Maybe as his skies are wide

Once he gets to the bottom of the ramp, Donovan pulls himself up onto the apron, walking over to the corner. He climbs up onto the second rope, looking out over the crowd, until the next lines hit...

What you say about his company

Is what you say about society
Catch the mist, catch the myth
Catch the mystery, catch the drift

Kayl throws his arms up for the roaring crowd, shouting out something that's just impossible to hear outside of the first couple of rows nearby. He hops the top rope into the ring, moving to the middle where he spins once, dropping to a knee and shooting his arms out. He drops his head as the crowd showers the ring with streamers, cascading down around him as he looks at the ring under his knee before raising his head upward slowly.

**Ring Attire**

En route to the ring, Kayl wears a red jacket with black patches, over his wrestling attire. Once he gets to the ring, he removes the jacket. His ring attire is red wrestling pants with "KAYL" written down the right leg in a deeper red, a wolf on the upper left leg (also in that deeper shade of red) and black studded wristbands. He wears generic black boots on his feet.

**Physical Features**

Kayl has short jet black hair and a black goatee/beard. His body is decently built, not a body-builder's body by any means, but certainly no slouch. His most imposing feature is his eyes, which are a piercing blue. He has a small scar over his left pectoral muscle from a previous surgery, a tattoo of a playing card with the DC comic character The Joker on his right bicep, and "MCMLXXIX" (1979, his birth year, in Roman numerals) tattooed down his left forearm.

**The Authorized History**

Donovan Kayl was born on the Friday the 13th in April, 1979. At a young age, it was discovered that he had a love of risk. This prompted his parents to keep him away from society, to whom he was deemed a threat, and stuck indoors most of his days, where he trained himself with weights and a punching bag to pass his time. He was home schooled so he would never have to leave his home. Then, at the tender age of 14, he ran away.

Four years went by between his running away and his resurfacing in 1997. No one quite knows where he was or what he was doing. Some believe that he was left like a regular hobo, wandering the hillside looking for a way of life; others believe his love of risks got him arrested, or even killed. Everyone was surprised when, after 4 long years of not seeing him, he showed up at the local arena with the independent wrestling circuit, wrestling under the name of “Twisted” Dirk Recktor. Insistent that his days as a troublesome child were behind him, his family allowed him to return home. But, that’s when the trouble began.

Everything that happened in his household ended up being his fault, even if he had absolutely nothing to do with them. Fed up again, Kayl left home in a matter of months, this time, vowing it would be for good. He returned to the independent wrestling circuit that he supposedly spent his first 4 years away in, this time, using his own name and identity… Donovan Kayl, the wrestler, was born. Immediately, fans took a liking to him. Heading into the year 2000, he was the most recognized face in the independent wrestling circuit, having a fan base all over the region. His life, he thought, couldn’t get any better. Then it did…

Donovan was approached after a New York show by a man who introduced himself as Jake Colossal. Donovan was told of an international body of wrestling that was always looking for the latest and greatest talents, and immediately signed up. When Kayl looked at the map of the world, he saw a large number of active rookie, territorial and regional federations he could join, and a national one which was off limits. Deciding his fate, he signed a preliminary wrestler contract to join Mid-South Wrestling, set in Memphis, Tennessee. Through the months in MSW, his fan base began to grow again, as he joined the stable Youth of a Nation, and immediately feuded with Alpha, a well established heel wrestler. But, nothing prepared the world for the next innovation…

In December, 2002, Donovan Kayl came out with Kayl’s Korner, a wrestler write-in show which was to feature Kayl giving his advice to various wrestlers and other MSW elite. This led to what many believe is the top feud of Kayl’s young career, when he went at it for several months with Narf, Destroyer of Bunnies. Then, in January, 2003, MSW turned into the second national federation and moved to Canada, becoming CWF. Also, that month Kayl was given a co-host, much to his chagrin, in the form of “The Beautiful Storm” Chloe Barnes. Time wore on, and he and Chloe grew to a brother-sister relationship… sometimes rocky, but generally good terms. And the show grew. The pair interviewed such guests as AFWA and Death By Me. As time continued, the two won the CWF Hardcore Tag Team titles, etching their names in the annals of CWF folklore. On top of that, Kayl won the CWF Rocky Mountain title from Scott “Carnage” Alexander. Then, in June of 2003, backstage at CWF Spring Fling, Kayl and Chloe were attacked by newcomers from North Star Wrestling, The Legion, made up by Daemon the Destroyer, El Diablo, The Maniacal Rage and The Kydd. The attack culminated with Kayl being abducted and left out in the middle of nowhere. He toiled on the farm in the middle of nowhere, which ended up being South Dakota, all the while befriending a young farm girl named Miranda. Eventually, it came time to leave the farm and return to CWF, and Kayl did in grand style, crashing through a triple cage during the main PPV of CWF, Uncivil War.

With Kayl's removal of Kydd from CWF, Kayl had a greater war to worry about: one with the founder of YOAN, The Walk. After returning to CWF, The Walk was bent on destroying what he "created"... Youth of a Nation. Kayl took exception to that and, in one classic encounter at CWF Instability, defeated The Walk to win ownership rights to the stable he now leads.

Things did not end there, however, as CWF began it's rollercoaster ride from the top. First, Kayl landed an exclusive interview with the always-talkative John Rodeo for Kayl's Korner. Then, at the CWF-hosted SWA Colossalcade, the biggest PPV of the year Kayl interviewed Jake Colossal, the man behind the SWA empire, before going out and becoming the first CWF Canadian Champion with a victory over Jason Angle. That single title reign brought Kayl to the forefront of a barrage of big names thrown his way: Killjoy Maximus, Afwa, Thunder Cat and Colonel Desade all fell to Kayl's trickery.

But fate was about to catch up with him. At CWF Retribution, Kayl fell victim to the Horsemen of the Abyss, perhaps the biggest non-YoaN stable in SWA history. In the month ahead, Kayl engaged in a feud with Micah King, the former SWA World Champion, and the two waged a war of words, catching the ear of Colonel Desade. When the three locked horns, Desade captured the title after Kayl was taken out of commission by Timothy Raine.

Raine and Kayl then staged a match at CWF Powder Keg the following month. The match, a brutal Canadian Street Fight, culminated in Raine turning his back on the Horsemen and, surprisingly enough, joining Youth of a Nation! The stable was possibly at it's strongest ever!

Then, CWF crumbled.

Kayl decided to start a little "feud" with an old friend, "Acid Rain" Chloe Celex. He publicly chastised her for breaking her word in returning to CWF, something she would never get the chance to do again with the closure. Kayl made his first official match appearance (with the exception of competing FOR Chloe while she was kidnapped) against Chloe at OWL Winter Warriors. However, the feud was a big rouse, resulting in Chloe turning her back on the OWL fans and rejoining Kayl, starting a second era of the Youthful Enterprise and preparing to bring OWL to it's knees! This goal was accomplished not only by running roughshod over OWL's most popular wrestler, Pinky Watts, but also by stirring the pot with its second-most hated faction, Pain and Pleasure. However, soon seeds of mistrust between Kayl and Chloe began to sow themselves, leading the longtime partners to go their seperate ways.

Kayl surfaced in Rising Sun Wrestling as a tag team partner to RSW legend, Hiero Takeuie. Off the bat, the pair defeated Derek B and Jamie Golden to capture the RSW Dragon Tag Team Titles. Kayl, however, had another target, a man whom had targetted him back in the CWF before the end, and a man who he blamed for part of its downfall: Micah King. These bulls locked horns, with Micah's pairing with Killjoy Maximus, Heaven's Tomb, defeating Kayl and Hiero for the Dragon Tag belts, until culminating inside a 20 foot deep pit for the first (and to this day, only) Pit Match, in which Kayl was ultimately successful. Kayl then joined forces with a former partner, Contour, as the tag team, The Next, and dissolved Youth of a Nation in favour of joining forces with Pain and Pleasure, reuniting with his old friend Chloe Barnes and her then-fiance, Danny Darko. However, this initial union was doomed to failure, as an internal rift between Contour and Danny Darko eventually ripped the group apart. Furthermore, Darko's romance with Chloe led to problems between him and Shadowcat, with whom Kayl sided in the conflict.

That problem left Kayl when Danny Darko went back to OWL, Shadowcat went to CPW and Chloe headed over to LSW. Kayl's tag team with Contour continued until he decided to take time off, and that is when Kayl really struck out on his own. With victories over some of the top RSW names, Kayl secured himself a spot in a triple threat iron man match against Derek B and Jamie Golden, with the winner getting a shot at the RSW Tsunawoharu Championship. While Golden won, Kayl put out enough of a great showing to secure a slot in the Glass House match, an annual bloodfest often cited among the most brutal of matches under the SWA banner. While the wrestlers stole the show (and the non-wrestlers involved in the match managed to not utterly embarrass themselves), it was Kayl who stole the show by hitting his signature maneuver, the OD, through the entire glass house structure on Alexis Clerk to pick up the 1-2-3.

After the glass house match, Kayl stepped back to the tradition of the winner being RSW Tsunawoharu Champion by having a makeshift copy of the belt made for him, which enraged the actual champion, Jamie Golden. What further enraged him was Kayl's "relationship" with his manager, Marigold. Sensing he was losing grip, a match was booked between Kayl and Golden to unify their belts. However, shortly before the match, a change was made. Golden was unable to make the show, and Derek Marks was put in his place. Unable to prepare for such a change, Marks was able to steal the victory and the title. However, Kayl then trained his entire focus on Marks and the title he felt robbed of, finally capturing it a month later.

For the next month, through uncertainty, Kayl "remained" as champion, although not defending the belt as he hadn't officially won it yet. At the end of the month, after making his decision to seek his fortunes elsewhere, Kayl would see himself get meticulously picked apart in a triple threat match against Jaxson Powers and Cassius King, and while putting up a valiant effort, Kayl was only able to hold on for so long.

However, that same WEEKEND, Kayl showed up at the AWA Birthday Show and attacked Bad Bad Heartworm and Seth Anarchy, having signed an AWA contract. And now, Kayl enters a new dawn in his career. He and Chloe have finally patched up their differences. He and Danny Darko are now a tag team shooting up the ranks. And he has more clarity and focus than ever before.

Or at least, he did for the time being. While Kayl and Darko were clawing their way to fame and prestige in the tag team division, with two seperate World Tag Title reigns, Kayl's personal life was thrown into turmoil when a tape came out revealing that Kayl had been involved in an affair.. or a one-night stand.. with Darko's wife and his old friend, Chloe Barnes-Ashmore, or Suicide Girl. While this threw a rift into the Big Shots tag team, it nearly drove Kayl to walk away from the business as a whole, fed up with being a role-model to youth when he himself was not role-model-worthy. However, after it was revealed that the woman in the tape was not Suicide Girl, but her tag team partner Shannon Bailey, Kayl faced another crisis of conscience: torn between intensifying feelings for the woman, coupled with his own fear of rejection. And this, in turn, was also coupled with attacks by a jealous Hoodlum, who was eager to step up and claim HIS territory. It took nearly three months for Kayl to finally spill his heart to Bailey, which inevitably blossomed into a full-blown romance between the two. During this time, Kayl and Hoodlum continued their war.

Then, Darko left for RSW (or so it was believed), and Bailey went to LSW, leaving Kayl alone. Truly alone for the first time in his career, Kayl is left in AWA searching for purpose, while maintaining a long-term romance with Bailey. Its the only way he would have it. Its the only way he could keep his sanity. Then, Darko swerved everyone by staying in AWA, but cracks in their once-supposedly seamless facade began to show, namely with Darko's words about his wife, Kayl's good friend Chloe "Suicide Girl" Barnes-Ashmore, have led some to believe that the Big Shots are not as cohesive a unit as once believed. Whether or not this is truly the case remains to be seen.

Soon thereafter, Darko and Kayl split ways and headed to LSW. There, they commenced a bitter rivalry, culminating in the disappearance of Chloe, which both men blame each other for. Eventually, Darko claimed to have found evidence to suggest that Kayl not only kidnapped Chloe, but also raped her. This sent Kayl over the edge and brought forth a side which he had never known existed.. a side which is more violent and brutal than any he had ever entertained before.

He brought forth Kayl the Black. However, deciding that the "dark, grungy" side wasn't work, he dropped the tail words, making himself simply "Kayl", as he also felt unable to return to the way he was prior to his "Black" incarnation.

After LSW closed, Kayl moved to RSW, where he enjoyed a one-month heel turn. Well, not so much ENJOYED it, as much as tolerated it. However, after that one month, some personal problems back home in Canada pulled him away from active competition, the first time this had happened to him since he joined the SWA in 2002. Now, he stands poised, ready to return, to reclaim his life, and the career which so many have tried to steal from him. Kayl joined forces with former World Champion Sludge Guts, forming the team ultimately known as Agony, a pairing that would inevitably end up winning the SWA World Tag Team Championships.

As time wore on, Kayl and Sludge Guts moved to HCW, where they rejoined with Chloe and Shannon to form the group known as Pay Per View. Throughout Kayl's tenure there, he captured every championship with the exception of two: The Heavyweight and Hostile City Tag. After Sludge Guts retired, Kayl briefly reformed his pairing with Devious Danny Darko, capturing a third World Tag Team Championship with that man. Kayl also entered into a feud with, of all people, HCW Promoter JD MacMorganburg III.

After MacMorganburg's ousting from the HCW office, Kayl was pleased to see that CWF had reopened its doors. Having been a driving force to see it return, Kayl felt it was only appropriate that he return to where his career began, his homeland. Dubbed "The Cornerstone" of CWF by fans and media alike, Kayl forged a path that would see him become one of the faces of CWF.

That is, of course, before the return of The Walk led the world Kayl knew to be shook to its foundation. With reality throwing his relationship with Shannon into turmoil, Kayl went out on a month-long bender full of booze and... well, just booze, actually. Upon returning, he signed with Leo Wanker to act as his representative and patched everything up with Shannon, Kayl was ready to ascend to levels he never before dreamed possible.

After defeating Devilish Davey Darko, H2O and his best friend Chloe Barnes in the Canadian Championship tournament, Kayl found himself on a collision course with Monique Ivy with the re-instituted belt hanging in the balance. However, he could not devote his full attention to this, as someone using Kayl's name had sent some incriminating information to Bronx Goldie, setting the SWA legend on his path. However, this would not slow Kayl's momentum as, mere days before CWF Instability, Kayl would defeat Neptunian Robot for the SWA World Heavyweight Title, the biggest win of his career for the most important belt in the world. He would lose it a few days later at SWA Iron Man, but would win the Canadian Championship.

However, Kayl would find the SWA Title again around his waist as he defeated Christopher Noteman, the man he lost it to in the first place, approximately 5 days later. Now, as a triple champion, Donovan Kayl is riding the single biggest wave in his career. His often-imitated stable, Pay Per View, has been targeted by rivals on all sides, an indicator of just how powerful the group has become. Everything seemed to be going Kayl's way.

Until, of course, the whole "Shannon Bailey kidnapping" thing. See, The Walk had invited some children into shows, having them pretend to be his children with "Shannon Walker-Marchetti-Whatever". Well, they played the part so well that they went off with Shannon Bailey. Kind of dumb, yes, but it happened. Shannon and Leo Wanker were charged with child abduction and ended up running to Texas. Fun.

In that time, Chloe Barnes had her miscarriage. Kayl and Lyman continued their push as the best tag team in the world, holding decisive victories over Out Of The Shadows. But the world would change in November when, out of the blue, Chloe would turn on her friends in favour of The Society. But through it all, Kayl was the one person to have never given up the idea that the Chloe who was acting against them was not the "true" Chloe Barnes. The pair had a classic one on one match at SWA Blind Faith for the World Championship, a match which Kayl took the World Title as secondary to his friendship. He fell short on winning his fifth World Title on that day.

Through that, Shannon Bailey also left Kayl. Something about him cheating (he never did) and giving up on saving her from the abduction charges (again, something he never did.. he was the one to get the charges dropped). For this, Leo Wanker was fired.

As time continued on, Kayl continued with his successful tag team with Lyman, completed a CWF Grand Slam (winning every title in the company).

At SWA Reign of Champions, Kayl was put in a precarious position. In order to utilize his rematch for the CWF Frozen Championship, he had to challenge both the new champion, Shannon, and her stablemate Jessica Heart. With Chloe Barnes as the referee. Though his back was against the wall, he won the match, defeating the two women by rolling up Heart. Following the match, he was assaulted, handcuffed to the ropes and busted open before Chloe went after her friends, saving Kayl and presumably returning to the side of good.

Throughout the next month, Kayl would rekindle his close friendship with Chloe, to the point where some would say they were closer than ever before. They would be proven right on one pivotal day...

May 19.

That is the day Donovan Kayl won his 5th World Championship. And that night, he spilled his heart... 7 years of feelings. From that moment on, longtime friends affirmed their love for one another and entered into a romantic relationship.

Kayl's evolution continued throughout the coming months, where he captured the World Championship on the sixth and seventh occasion. During this time, CWF was under attack by the EE Army, H2O and Marvel. Though, from every indication, CWF were clearly superior to this duo, they continued to press. Kayl lost the SWA World Championship to H2O at Boiling Point, following a victory over the same opponent and a rematch being declared immediately.

Kayl continued to soldier on as only he could, but in September announced that his legendary career would come to a close following SWA Colossalcade 2010. And, on September 21, the same day Kayl won his seventh World Championship, making him the most decorated wrestler in SWA history, Kayl married Chloe Barnes in a ceremony aboard a cruise ship.

**Personality**

The first thing noted about Donovan Kayl is his undeniable loyalty to those close to him. While much of his past had left him guarded, if you earn his trust, it is very difficult to break that trust. To those who have earned it, Kayl would lay his body on the line without question.

Kayl has a kind, respectful manner about him that has carried him through a 16+ year professional wrestling career. He believes respect is the foundation of the industry, and without it, we might as well be trained apes bludgeoning each other with

In addition to that, Donovan Kayl keeps a generally level head when it comes down to handling conflict. He loves watching his opposition talk themselves into the ground with nonsense, knowing how easy it is to debunk the majority of criticisms about him. However, this also poses a problem... when someone gets under Kayl's skin and breaks that level-headed nature, they face a man on a mission, a man who is truly pissed off. And for a man with the proven ability of Donovan Kayl, facing that is a definite dangerous proposition.

Speaking of abilities, Kayl has often been described as one of, if not THE, best technical wrestlers of all-time. He knows this, but is able to keep a level head about that as well, not allowing his ego to cloud over who he is because of what he can do.

The ring is the house. Donovan Kayl is the man of the house. The glue that can bond a family together.

The Cornerstone.

**Finishing Moves**

Point Blank
Kayl reaches over his opponent and lifts him for a suplex. Instead of dropping backwards, Kayl pushes his opponent off in front of him, causing them to land on their knees. In the brief moment of hesitation before the opponent can react, Kayl charges by, sometimes bouncing off the ropes for added speed and momentum, with a running knee to the temple, dropping the opponent to the mat out cold.

The REAL Attitude Adjustment
NOTE: Not to be confused with that OTHER company's version of the Attitude Adjustment...
With Kayl behind his opponent, he grabs on to their head and hits a quick, fluid reverse DDT. He then holds onto their head and rolls the opponent onto their stomach, straddling over their back as he wrenches up in a Dragon Sleeper.

NOTE: This character is currently inactive, but will be featured in various characters' stories. Should I activate him... well... I know how to make the appropriate move (and I'm sure Olek will remind me to create an entrance).

NOTE 2: This is the "original" Donovan Kayl spoken of in lore/promos from Simon Lyman and Kayl TV. NOT to be confused with Devon Kayl, who once used his cousin's name to get himself over.

PERSONAL INFORMATION
-------------------------------------------------
Wrestler's Alias: Derek Adonis
Wrestler's Real Name: Derek Robert Oliver Yanni George Brand Victor Walker-Marchetti
Pic Base: Eric Stonestreet
Height: 6’2”
Weight: 270 lbs.
Birthdate: February 14, 1977
Birth Place: Atlantic City, New Jersey
Current Residence: Las Vegas, Nevada

Physical Description: A rather large individual, and apparently out of shape (though, for certainly purposes, in better shape than he looks.. KABLAM!), Derek Adonis is still very proud of his folds and Supercuts hairstyle. His outfits are often offensively colourful mismatches.

WRESTLING INFORMATION
-------------------------------------------------
Wrestling Style: Let’s go with “unorthodox”
Alignment (Face/Tweener/Heel): Depends on who you ask (ie: Neutral)
Years Pro: 10
Finishers: Kablam!; Top Rope Fuckinator
Finishers Descriptions:
Kablam! – A Stinger Splash in the corner
Top Rope Fuckinator - A front-flip onto a standing opponent's shoulders, taking them down (AKA Molly-Go-Round)

Signature Moves: Lady's Choice; Oops
Signature Moves Descriptions (If Needed):
Lady’s Choice – A bronco buster (typically only used on female opponents)
Oops – A stalled brainbuster (one can never tell if the move is intentional, or if Adonis just can’t hold them up for a stalled suplex and drops them on their head mistakenly)
Theme Song: “Come In KABLAMia” by The KABLAMian Taberacle Choir

Common Moves:
- Suplex
- Bodyslam
- Fallaway slam
- Punches/kicks
- Big splash
- Big splash from the bottom rope
- Big splash from the middle rope
- Battering ram
- Running shoulder tackle
- Elbow drop
- Full nelson
- Full nelson sitout drop
- Sitout power bomb
- Running face-wash boot
- Bearhug
- Bearhug slam

Strengths:
Size – He’s bigger than his opponents. That helps, right?
Unorthodox style – Let’s face it: No one really knows what his style is.
Strangely Charismatic – You wouldn't know it to look at him though.

Weaknesses:
Dumb – Very, very dumb. Okay, not really DUMB… conceited, and prone to stupid mistakes.
Conceited – Believes that every woman wants him (who wouldn’t?) and every man wants to be like him. This causes him to often take his eye off the prize (of winning a match) and puts his eye on the other prize (boo-tay).
Prone to Stupid Mistakes – Because of his conceitedness mixed with his rather low intelligence, the tendency to make dumb mistakes that often cost him (ie: picking a male opponent up in the corner out of a staunch refusal to perform the Lady’s Choice on anyone but a lady).

Entrance:
KABLAAAAAAAAAAM!!!

The sound of a xylophone scale is heard, signifying the start of the KABLAMian Taberacle Choir's jingle, "Come In KABLAMia"...

Derek Adonis rolls out atop the ramp on a cloud, alongside a number of the citizens of KABLAMia: Sweet Sangria, Mimi Mimosa, Het Meisje, and Anastasia Fantasia among them. The crowd rise to their feet in a raucous applause at the display of flesh in front of them...

Welcome to the land that loves below the belt
The sky’s are clear and pleasure is felt
Come in KABLAMia, come in KABLAMia

Adonis partially rises to his knees, waving out to the crowd as chants of "KABLAM" ring out throughout the arena. The cloud continues to roll it's way down the ramp.

Where fun-loving people can give right in
To a Man Mountain utopia where everyone wins
Come in KABLAMia, come in KABLAMia

Sweet Sangria always dressed in smile
Many men and women will go the extra mile
Come in KABLAMia, come in KABLAMia

The women on the cloud toss out small, travel-sized bottles of Derek Adonis Heavy KABLAM Lubricant and folded up travel brochures to the crowd.

The lube flows freely, never enough
It’s a copyrighted formula, the right stuff
But even still they make you feel right at home
Whether you love cleaning the carpet or polishing chrome

The cloud makes it to the bottom of the ramp and Adonis hops off first, reaching up to help the four primary women off. They step down, each planting a kiss on the cheek of Man-Mountain before heading up the stairs. Adonis follows up last and pulls himself through the ropes, lifting them for the four women to enter the ring as well.

We don’t kink-shame here, it never allowed
It’s a comfortable place while you’re being plowed
Your greatest dreams are always on tap
Your can register now with our convenient app

Adonis moves around to the four corners, climbing onto the bottom rope to throw out travel brochures as far as he can.

That’s right, KABLAM is expanding…
It’s the dream of Derek Adonis
Come in KABLAMia, summy KABLAMian
We mean YOU!

After finishing (heh), Adonis moves to the middle of the ring, posing with the four women around him. As the song ends, he bellows out with it...

Adonis: "KABLAAAAAAAAAAAAM!"

Biography: Derek Adonis Facts
- Derek Adonis has been married 4 times before (believe it or not). The first two marriages ended after the Vegas weddings were annulled, the third ended after he hit on his wife’s sister, and the fourth was an attempt to get into his will. (July 2022 edit: This count is now up to like six or seven... he's a regular Elizabeth Taylor)
- Derek Adonis owns two Las Vegas wedding chapels, and has been known to console brides who’s grooms abandoned them after they got “cold feet”.
- Surprisingly, Derek Adonis’ seduction success ratio is higher than one might think by looking at him.
- Derek Adonis owns every Barney Stinson book published by the people at CBS as a companion to “How I Met Your Mother”. As such, he has completed several of the plays in “The Playbook”.
- In his spare time, Derek Adonis writes messages for erotic greeting cards.

CLASSIC ENTRANCE:
The opening horns of “Weird Al” Yankovic’s “Wanna B Ur Lovr” begin to play out over the crowd, meaning the crowd is about to be graced by the presence of a living love machine – the Man-Mountain known as Derek Adonis!

And there he is! Stepping out amidst spotlights of every colour of the rainbow alongside his new KABLAMpress, Candy Adonis, the man’s outfit radiates light against a few blacklights slipped in, and he is completely oblivious to his detractors, basking in the glow of the spotlight as he begins his sensual stride towards the ring.

If you’re so inclined, you should check out the lyrics to the song that Adonis is entering to, because they really paint their own tapestry almost as well as the man himself is able to, stopping at various points on his walk down towards the ring to hit on some of the more attractive females in the area – without caring about the potential of boyfriends, husbands or security. He’ll take their hand, whisper sweet nothings to them (and, if you’ve seen girls at shows put in this kind of embarrassing situation, these do the same as all of them – and just laugh) and plant his lips ever so gently upon said hand before moving farther down the ramp.

As the chorus comes around, Adonis steps up the ramp, taking each step with added emphasis. He gets onto the apron and after winking at a particularly friendly female (probably the most receptive to advances of earlier), pulls himself through the ropes. He gyrates just a little bit in the ring (it’s better than his twerking – trust me) as his music fades.

*Candy's inclusion can vary as the matchwriter deems appropriate, though 9/10 she's there.

Behind those eyes lies the truth and grief
Behind those beautiful smiles I've seen tragedy
The flawless skin hides the secrets within
Silent forces that secretly ignite your sins

...During that verse, Damian Angel steps out onto the top of the ramp , inciting boos from the crowd. He looks at the crowd, ...

...In the slight pause between the verse and the chorus, the lights in the arena all turn off, leaving the sight of pitch black. As the chorus strikes up, a red spotlight begins to follow Angel to the ring...

...During the chorus, they begin their approach to the ring...

Fly away, fly away
From the torch of blame
They haunt you
The Lucifer's Angels
Never lived, you never died
Your life has been denied
They call you
The Lucifer's Angel

...By the end of the chorus, Angel has rolled toward the centre of the ring, pulling himself to one knee. Damian runs his hand over the canvas before pounding his right fist down upon the SCW logo, immediately springing to his feet thereafter ...

Beyond these clouds you can hide all your tears
Beyond this world you'll be safe from their wicked fears
And in their hearts they fear your demands
You know their minds won't accept you, they'll never understand

...As this verse goes on, Damian unfastens the clasps of his rope, letting it drop down to the mat behind him. He glares out over the crowd...

Fly away, fly away
From the torch of blame
They haunt you
The Lucifer's Angels
Never lived, you never died
Your life has been denied
They call you
The Lucifer's Angel

...Angel climbs onto the middle rope and outstretches his arms, bringing them together in an 'X' formation as he looks down towards the pits of hell. He repeats this process on the other three sides of the ring, and after the last one he hops off the turnbuckle.

Biography: Nothing of Damian Angel's personal life is known. No one know who he is, where he came from, nor how long he's been wrestling. What is known is that he sees himself as a Messiah for the New Age, a Hellbound Messiah. His cross of heaven and hell often puts his opponents off, as they never know quite what to expect out of this enigma. What is known, however, is that Damian Angel has a message, and will do whatever it takes to spread that message.

  Amy Chastaine
Posted by: HardyGirl - 07-30-2018, 09:05 PM - Forum: Singles - Replies (1)

PERSONAL INFORMATION
Wrestler's Real Name: Amy Lancaster
Ring/On Screen Name: Amy Chastaine
Pic Base: Melissa Archer
Height: 5' 10”
Weight:  157 lbs
Birthdate: Aug 5th, 1976 (Age 47)
Birth Place: New Orleans, La
Current Residence: New Orleans, La

RETIRED June 13, 2018
RETURNED: Retribution 2023 - March 19

Physical Description: fair skinned, long, wavy red hair, curvy

Ring attire: long black tights, flared at the bottom (think Trish Stratus, only slightly less flared). Hard knee brace on her left knee, worn under her tights. Black boots. Various different colored halter tops (rotates between shades of blue, dark red, black, silver, and green). She keeps her hair loose during matches.

Street attire: Prefers jeans or slacks, with either solid colored tops, tees, sweaters, etc, or prints that are based on her hometown. (Fleur de lis for the Saints, "NOLA", crescent moons, etc). Will dress up in dresses/skirts for going out or signings. She prefers boots over sneakers, but will wear sneakers if the situation calls for it. Was never one to really show off or flaunt herself, gets a little embarrassed when she is called sexy/hot/etc.

WRESTLING INFORMATION
Wrestling Style: technical/high flying
Alignment: Face
Years Pro: 18

Finishers:
Tourniquet -  Anaconda Vice - very tenacious/tight grip, will not release until the opponent taps/passes out, or told to do so by the ref due to rope break. Even then she'll get close to the 5 count.

BlackOut - With the opponent dazed, but on their feet, Amy will climb the turnbuckles to the top rope, face the ring, and leap. Grabbing their head, she will flip with a DDT, planting their head into the mat.  (think Ember Moon/Athena's Eclipse, only head to the mat instead of stunner-like; less pop-up from the opponent, they just drop)
This can be done from the top rope itself in a springboard maneuver when she needs a quick/surprise finish, and also from the tops of ladders, cages, anything high up in specialty matches.

Signature Moves:
Lightning Strike – superkick
Vortex – twist of fate
Event Horizon - Gory Special into neckbreaker - AKA Widow's Peak (could end a match)

Theme Song: "Relentless" by New Years Day

Common Moves:
hip toss
arm drag
DDT

inverted DDT
bulldog
one-handed bulldog (regular or running)
Frankensteiner  (can be done from top rope)

headscissors takedown
moonsault (regular and springboard, seldom to outside/big match move)
dropsault
dropkick (grounded and flying)
dropkick to knee
suicide dive (through or over ropes, only on special occasions/big matches)

German suplex
belly-to-belly suplex
fisherman suplex (bridged or release)
powerbomb
falcon arrow
Splash Mountain bomb (counter to opponent climbing turnbuckle)

sleeper hold (various ones)
Dragon Sleeper (standing or kneeling)
abdominal stretch
hammerlock
wristlock from behind
Fujiwara armbar
Muta lock
ankle lock
rear naked choke (standing or grounded, trouble locking legs around cause of her knee)
Elevated Single-Leg Crab
elevated Boston Crab w/ knee on neck

bitch slap (only when angry)
face rake (as a counter/to get out of a hold. Will go for eyes if its a no DQ match type)

Corner moves:
choke with foot
shoulder block to the gut
elbows
running facewash

Style:
-Has started to go more technical and less flying due to her bad knee, but will go more high risk if she deems it necessary. Depends on her opponent and the match type. She will try to match her style to the opponent as best as she can to counter their style.
-HIGHLY unlikely to use any kind of underhanded/cheap shot/cheating tactic. Goes back to the honor thing. May do so rarely against a big rival; would have to be someone she hates who has previously betrayed/disrespected her and doing so would be a form of retribution.
However if the match is a no DQ match type, all bets are off. If there are no rules, she will go all out if necessary.
-Easily angered by anything she feels is disrespectful, to either herself, a championship, or people she cares about.

Strengths:
-quickness and ring awareness helps her against opponents larger than her
- well-conditioned cardio-wise, great endurance
-not easily fooled by mindgames, lies, BS (she has a degree in Psychology)
-quick witted
-strong sense of right vs wrong, loyalty, etc

Weaknesses:
-can attempt certain moves on people she isn't strong enough to lift them for (although if angry she can get it done, see next item lol)
-short temper
-tendency to take things too personally
-that sense of right vs wrong and loyalty can sometimes lead her to defend others to her detriment, especially people she cares about
- complete reconstruction of the left knee (previous injury: ruptured patellar tendon, fractured patella, multiple hyper-extentions). Will bother her if attacked viciously. If that happens, makes it difficult to launch the BlackOut. May try anyway (desperation maneuver), 50/50 to fail. Will use her technical/submission game instead.

-------------------------------
Character note for segments: Amy will never use the locker room showers, and will try her best to stay away from them period (like not poking her head in just to talk to someone). She was attacked/raped in them at MSG for an HVW PPV in 2008 and has avoided them ever since.

Entrance:

Blue and white lights flash in time with the music and the words up on the Tron:

"Tear me down, it won't build you up"

Amy Chastaine comes through the curtain just as the tempo of New Years Day's "Relentless" picks up with the chorus, the lights flashing to keep up. With one hand she flips her hair out of her face, with a confident grin, gazing out at the cheering crowd.

"Never gonna stop
Won't quit till I'm not breathing
Chase me all you want
It won't be enough"

Amy starts down the ramp, greeting and touching hands with a few fans along the way.

Phillips: "Making her way to the ring, from New Orleans, LA... Amy Chastaine!"

"Never gonna stop
Even if these wounds keep bleeding
I'm not giving up
It won't be enough"

The music continues as she gets into the ring. Amy hops up on the apron, and enters the ring between the bottom and middle ropes. She goes to the corner near the ring steps, and hops up on the middle ropes, one hand in the air overhead, and the other on her hip, posing for the cheering fans. She hops down and runs to the opposite corner, doing the same pose. Amy then hops down as the music fades out and the lights return to normal.

(Note: Less corner posing if its a heated/feud match, more staring her opponent down.)

Biography:
Amy Chastaine made her professional wrestling debut on January 30th, 2005, with the now-defunct WOF. This was the new start she had been looking for after leaving her abusive ex-husband, taking her daughter with her. She trained for a few years with two friends from high school, brothers Heath and Wyatt Lancaster. First in a self-defense class led by Wyatt, then in wrestling school led by Heath. After her debut, Amy won her first title, the WOF Alternative Championship, in a 4 Corners of Hell match in which she defeaded Joshua Gytrike, which was just her 4th professional match. She went on to capture the WOF Trans-Atlantic Championship from Grave Digger, who immediately kidnapped her and held her captive for two weeks. During this time, he convinced – some would say brainwashed – her into believing her then-boyfriend Wyatt and their daughter had left her behind, and that her only choice was to join his Dark Army. For the next year, Amy did just that, fighting at Grave Digger's side, running roughshod over the WOF roster. Shortly after Amy joined Grave Digger, they went on to add another person to the Dark Army, Dustin Diablo. In January of 2006, there was a split in the company, with WOF being taken over by one of the shareholders, and a new company, HVW, being created in the aftermath. This new company would be owned and operated by the very man who trained Amy, her high school best friend Heath Lancaster. Amy's Trans-Atlantic Championship was renamed the International Championship, which she held until May 2006, losing to Sakura Hyotei.

Amy and Dustin would grow tired of taking orders from Grave Digger, who was the HVW World Champion. In July of 2006, they turned on him in the middle of a six-man tag match, and Amy demanded, and was given, a shot at the World Championship. She failed, and was out of action for a few weeks with a neck injury, and very nearly did not return to the ring. But with encouragement from Dustin – who she had begun dating – and from fans, she did go back, and demanded a rematch. It was granted, and on 10-15-06, Amy became HVW World Champion, defeating Grave Digger in a First Blood match. She held that title for 7 months, losing to “Wildcat” Lynn Brewster in May of 2007. During this time, she also worked in FTWO, and in May of 2007 she defeated Michael Black to reclaim the Trans-Atlantic Championship that she had never lost when HVW split from WOF. She held that title for only a month before she had to vacate it, right after losing the HVW World Championship, as she was forced to take a leave of absence from the ring, due to a surprise pregnancy.

Amy gave birth to her son in January of 2008, and returned to the ring in March. Amy spent her time slowly getting back into the shape she was in pre-pregnancy, and did some work in the Women's division, as well as the tag division, forming a short-lived group called Synergy, along with Dustin Diablo, Blood Reign, and Odin Knyght. In May of 2008, she and Diablo were married. Shortly after, while at the Mistakes & Glories HVW PPV event at Madison Square Garden, Amy was attacked and raped by an unknown assailant in the locker room showers. Her attacker was eventually revealed to be a member of the roster, Rick Adams, and the attack had been set up by Diablo's twin sister Elektra Langton. But before Adams could be arrested and brought up on charges, both Adams and Elektra fled, and have never been found. To this day Amy avoids locker room showers in any arena.

In October of 2008, tragedy struck when the owner of HVW and Amy's best friend, Heath Lancaster, was killed by a drunk driver. In his will, the ownership of HVW was left to Amy. She put the company on hiatus until January 2009 to work out legalities and deal with the grief. On the reopening of HVW, Amy decided to step back from the ring to focus on running the company. But not ready to retire, she went back to FTWO, with the intention of recapturing the Trans-Atlantic Championship, that once again, she never lost. In August of 2009, she branched out further by signing with the company that had been HVW's biggest competition, VWA. In VWA, Amy rose quickly through the Women's division (as then VWA did not allow women to vie for every championship, and had very few intergender matches), and on 6-11-10, she became VWA Women's Champion, defeating Black Rose. In the meantime, back in FTWO she failed to recapture the Trans-Atlantic Championship, losing to Cam Davitt on 6-15-09.

Due to a struggling roster and other behind the scenes issues, FTWO closed in 2009, merging with HVW. This left Amy with a larger roster to handle as owner of HVW, and once again only actively competing in one company. In December of 2009, Diablo was on tap to join Amy in VWA, where they planned on entering the Tag division, breaking VWA's tradition of keeping men and women separate. But that never happened, as the night Diablo was supposed to debut, doing a run in to help Amy in her match, he never showed up. The resulting argument led to Amy and Diablo's split and divorce.

In February of 2010, after a year of running HVW and many disagreements with the members of the board, and also with the roster, Amy decided that the company had run its course and ceased operations. HVW's last show was held on 2-1-10. This left Amy with just VWA to concentrate on. Having lost many things important to her so closely together, Amy became bitter and selfish, much to  the fans' distaste. She continued in VWA for another year, holding the Women's Championship for 6 months, losing it to Natalie Burrows (now Bateman) on 12-19-10. During this time, she struck up an unlikely friendship with fan-favorite Andrew Raynes, trading witty cheap shots that turned into flirty banter. In February 2011, VWA also closed its doors. Amy took this as a sign that it was time to hang up her boots after a storied and successful career. She went back to college and finished her degree in Psychology. She also became active at her local gym, doing some personal training, and a bit of wrestling training. During this time she kept up with Raynes for a while, until an argument that left them both too angry to call the other and try to work it out.

In July of 2014, Amy received a letter in the mail from VWA – they were reopening and wanted her to return. It didn't take long for her to agree to come out of retirement, especially since VWA had done a complete turn around in its policies, and were now allowing all competitors- men and women- to vie for all championships. With thoughts of becoming a World Champion again, Amy signed her VWA contract and returned to the ring for the first time in over three years on 8-31-14. Then, on 2-15-15, Amy won the 7th Circle of Hell match (Elimination Chamber + I Quit) became the VWA High Voltage Champion, becoming the first female to win said match, and also the first female in VWA to hold a major title other than the Women's Championship. During this time she reconnected with Andrew Raynes, after randomly running into him while on a short vacation trip. They soon rekindled their relationship, and became an official couple over Christmas 2014. However, just before Thanksgiving 2015 Amy broke up with him, after a few months of lack of communication and bickering. She did not been take it well and developed a fondness for alcohol.

On February 3rd 2016, Amy faced and defeated Dylan Howell in her hometown of New Orleans, but Howell attacked and injured her previously injured left knee after the match. She was given medication for the pain, and she took them when she got home, along with her usual stiff drink. The combination led to an accidental hydrocodone overdose. Amy was found unconscious the next morning by her daughter's father, Wyatt, and rushed to the hospital. Following the near-death incident, Amy vowed to stop drinking, and began seeing a therapist, as well as a pagan-based addiction support group.

On  March 6th, 2016 at Retribution, Amy did what few thought she was capable of and defeated Regan Street to become the SCW World Champion, one month shy of a full year after signing with SCW. She successfully defended the title at Breakdown on March 30th in a rematch against Regan, marking the 3rd win over her and breaking Regan's 4-year streak of never losing on Breakdown. The following week, April 6th, on Breakdown, Amy fought a grueling near-40 minute match against Syren in her second defense, and was defeated.

Soon after losing the World Championship, Amy struck up an unlikely friendship with David Miller, a polarizing figure well known to SCW. She'd heard stories and rumors about his history, but never one to judge, she largely brushed it off, deciding to find out for herself. Their 'relationship' (as it was never really official) was brief, fiery, and ended tumultuously when she finally found out the truth behind the rumors.

August 2016 would be a very eventful month for Amy, as on August 4th, VWA announced they were ceasing operations, just one day before a scheduled show, Rapture. Amy had been pushing for a World Championship match, and with the closing not only was she losing her home company but also the chance to become it's champion, which is what she came out of retirement for. However, days later, a match she had scheduled at a final VWA house show (which they were contractually obligated to hold) was turned into a World Championship match. With this final opportunity, Amy threw herself into preparations. In the meantime, in SCW Amy defeated Shilo Valiant on the 24th to become the Television Champion. Days later, on the 28th, Amy fought in that last VWA match, a Hell in a Cell, against the champion William Hush and another challenger, Kaji Fireson, and walked away as the final VWA World Champion.
In between those 4 days Amy had ended her relationship with Miller, after a few arguments about her prying into his past. After one backstage the same night she won the TV Title, he'd taken a swing at her, and for her that was the line that couldn't be uncrossed. The morning of the 28th, before her HIAC match, news broke of his death. Amy couldn't help but blame herself, and the entire situation sent her back to bottle at one point, and also back to her therapist.

One bright spot was that after VWA's closing, Amy's friend Kara Abheri needed somewhere to go, having grown tired of staying in a Chicago hotel suite, and Amy offered Kara and her daughter a place in her home. Kara happily accepted and the two friends vowed to help keep each other strong while making sure their kids were well cared for.

At the end of 2016, Amy became the SCW United States Champion after defeating Finnegan Piper, a hand-picked proxy by Vixen Cain, who was deemed unable to compete. Amy also was placed into the Shot of Adrenaline Tournament, and after only losing one match in the round robin portion, she went on to defeat Donovan Kayl in the semis and AJ Helms in the finals to become the 2017 Shot of Adrenaline winner.

During this time, Amy also renewed her relationship with Wyatt, and in February of 2017 they were married.

After only losing one match in 2017 (to Tyler Tucker in the Shot of Adrenaline tournament) Amy lost the US Championship to the same man, also breaking an 11-match win streak, at Broken Beliefs in April. The following Breakdown, Amy faced Adrenaline Champion Christy Matthews in a Submission Match, the stipulation chosen by Amy as part of her reward for winning Shot of Adrenaline. In the match, Amy caused Christy to pass out with the Tourniquet, earning her the Adrenaline Championship.

Theme song: "Spotlight" by Fozzy

Entrance:

The lights dim, only a few small ones on the stage as the voice of Bree Lancaster whispers:

“I am the light of the truth
The one who sees right through”

A guitar riff plays as the small lights dance around the stage, then suddenly stop, as one large beam shines down onto the figure of Bree herself.

“Spotlight”

The smaller lights begin again swirling as the music of “Spotlight” by Fozzy kicks in and Bree makes her way down the ramp.

[I am the light of the truth, The one who sees right through
I know your every move, I got my eye on you
Go on and bury it down, I follow you 'til it's out
I got my eye on you, I got my eye on you]

Bree smiles at the front row fans as she gets to the ring and goes up the steps, stepping through the ropes. She goes to a corner and gets on the second turnbuckle, posing with one hand up overhead. The crowd cheers.

[You're the wicked, I'm a sharp knife
Shining on you like a spotlight
I'm a witness, I'm a dark night]

The lights go down, and one beam shines on Bree in the corner.

[You're a sickness, I'm your spotlight]

The lights come up and Bree hops down as the music fades out. Bree gets to her corner and looks around.

==================

Biography:
Bree is the younger sister of Heath Lancaster (deceased owner of the closed HVW) and Wyatt Lancaster (the father of Amy Chastaine's daughter). Born to the same parents as her older brothers as a “mid-life surprise” 15 years after Wyatt was born, she grew up spoiled by her parents and her brothers, including her brother's friend Amy Chastaine, who Bree thought was her sister when she was a little girl. Typical popular pretty high school girl, was a cheerleader and captain her senior year. It's how she became so flexible, because her squad competed in the national cheer competitions.
Bree chose to go to college in New York, but had to move back to New Orleans and in with Amy during her last year to escape an ex boyfriend who became obsessed with her. Once there, Bree asked Amy to train her to wrestle, just like her brother Heath was supposed to do. Amy eventually agreed, as long as Bree finished her degree. She did, earning a BS in Sociology.

When VWA reopened and Amy came out of retirement, she brought Bree with her, debuting at VWA Resurgence on August 31st, 2014. She lost her debut match, against veteran Billy Hush.
Bree quickly made friends in the company, including the equally bubbly and cheerful Kara Abheri, and started dating the man who defeated her in her debut, Billy – now going by William, Hush, much to Amy's dismay. Bree paid no mind to Amy's warnings that he was disloyal and dishonest, assuming that she was just obsessed with a years-old grudge, going back to when he defected from HVW to VWA after fixing an HVW World Championship match in 2008. But in February of 2015, he proved Amy right by turning on all his supporters and joining the dominant faction the House, led by VWA Owner Jude Lawson, which had run roughshod over everyone in VWA. Just two weeks later, on VWA Breakdown, a monthly interview program, Hush went on air and told the world he was leaving her behind – only he hadn't told her yet. Unknown to him, she was in the studio and heard anyway. It took her months to recover from the heartbreak and feeling worthless.

In May of 2015, Bree faced and defeated her friend Kara for the VWA Evolution Championship. It was a hollow victory, though, because it had been none other than Hush who had set the match up, as the right hand man of the tyrannical owner Jude Lawson. The championship must be defended at every show, and Bree only managed one successful defense in a triple threat match before losing the belt to Diana Weston in July.

After teaming on and off again with her friend Kara Abheri, and her friend that would later become her boyfriend, Blake Mason, Bree took her talents to SCW at the End of the Year Special on Dec 31, 2015.
She made her singles debut in SCW on February 3rd, 2016 in her hometown, where she lost to another debuting star, Casey Holliday.
In March, Bree and Blake Mason became more than just tag partners/friends when they made their relationship official. It would be a few weeks before the public knew, however.
On April 2nd, Bree became the first two time VWA Evolution Champion, defeating Viola Dupree. A little less than two months later, she went on to lose it to none other than her boyfriend Blake Mason, on May 28.
With losing streaks and growing frustration, both Bree and Blake took a vacation to his family's property in Italy. upon their return, after Rise to Greatness, both have a changed attitude and perspective.
With VWA now closed, Bree's sole focus is SCW and how high she can rise.
